>GM Note
Hello again folks, another year has passed and I am getting the itch to make another one of these threads. I've jumped around the world and have been transitioning through different jobs hence why I've been so busy.

As of now, I'm moving into a stable job and have alot more free time. I wanted to try and get back into /qst/ and hopefully continue or start a new Adventure Mode.

Thanks to everyone on the Quest General Discord for helping me find my stuff in the archives.

>The Game
This quest will intend to simulate a single character in a DnD-like aspect, focusing on the world and experiences of Armok: God of Blood Chapter 2: Dwarf Fortress: Adventure Mode.

Things such as character sheets, item statistics and tracking of hunger will be transferred onto the responsibility of the DM, the player will experience actual dialogue and text-based descriptions of mood, needs, and conditions.

Alongside simplistic drawings, text and story elements will be a driving force behind the narrative of this game. There will be no specific goal, unless searched upon or imposed by the players themselves.

Audio, such as music and SFX may be provided during the gameplay, it is highly recommended you partake in them to be further immersed.

In an effort to promote stability of choice, players will be able to suggest actions, choose a pre-determined one and/or vote in favor of said actions by replying to the post with the word: >vote.

Dice rolling will be used in areas such as attempted skill-use, attacks and so on, all using a d100 to simulate percentage scores. The DM will indicate when it is time to roll, or the player can ask to make one as a suggested action, if a skill a player requests is not found on the sheet, the DM will approximate it to the nearest one.

Creativity, story-telling and fun should be the priority of the game, so don't get hung up on trying to play the most optimal path and enjoy the adventure for what it is.

Obvious troll suggestions such as die, kill self and other attempts of pointlessly throwing away a character will be ignored.

Enjoy and suffer well.
If anyone has any tips/advice/suggestions/etc. feel free to let me know.

Friendly Reminder:
If at any point you would like to ask the GM a question in regards to lore, gameplay mechanics, etc. simple use the following command followed by the question.
>[LEGEND] [Question here]

ex. >[LEGEND] What are is a skeleton's favorite snack?

"The world is young, the Titans in their wisdom and tyrannical leadership have molded the world in their desires and wishes, the Old Gods still walk among us. Slaves to the machinations of the creators, we are shackled to destiny but destiny is a fickle thing, like rust on iron, it is a matter a time before we forge our own path.

The races of this world are bound to a patron Titan, chattel-slaves of their desires and conquests. In this age, myth is as real as magic, demi-gods, great beasts and the very titans themselves walk among the lands."

You are a "hybrid", you are the result of many generations of interbreeding and magical experimentation. In their pursuit of further developing a better servant, The Titans gave you this form, you are an outlier in the realm, abandoned by your very creators due to their perceived failure. With flesh given form, branding was in order. However, in this realm, it doesn't matter who you are as much as what you can do.

>What can you do?
>Ex. Swordsman, Magician, Necromancer, Farmer, Mechanic, Nomad, etc.
>GM Note
Due to the "Short" history, you may select to become a blessed individual (IE: A demigod), this will grant you additional super-human abilities and skills but will dampen the difficulty the game aswell as imposing specific challenges to overcome.

In other words: Becoming anything divine will bind you to the servitude of the Gods and by proxy the Titans, with other demi-gods as your kin.

Whilst being a slave-folk of the created races will give you more agency in the world, without the spiritual binding to the divine beings.

Necromancer

A master of life & death, these individuals have learned to bend the reality of those around them. Breaking free of the chains of mortality and of those around them, they are commonly associated to raise the undead and command them to their personal goals. From the ardent acolyte, to the Master of Life & Death, all necromancers are united in their goal to triumph over the toil that is life.

>The Living Gods
Veles - is the supreme deity - but not because of his age or strength. Being a great sage and organizer, he resolves conflicts between other gods and directs their actions, which saves their existence over and over again.

Toth - always burns with inspiration, sometimes possessing the pseudo-living, forcing them to create unprecedented works of art. His followers value craft and art.

Armok - obsessed with violence, cruelty and evil fun. He is also revered as the Creator: he was the first to fall into the Fourth Reflection, having laid with his perception the foundation of the non-reality in which we are now.

Lir - favors those who live like a wild beast, despising technology and independently gaining food for themselves. The only one who chose a non-human form.

Bacchus - a lustful god, Prince of Illusions, Abiding in Orgasm - adherent of hedonism, depravity and immoral behavior. He rejoices, watching the lustful deviations and the slow but euphoric suicide of his drug addicted followers.

Grosth - the god of old age, disease and decay, his moldy whisper is heard from every cesspool. A patron of outcasts and the misunderstood.

Eusoch- a healer, absorbed in treating the pain of all those who are pseudo-living, and trying his best to move them away from The Fall.

Xom - god of randomness and disorder, as crazy as the one who voluntarily becomes his toy

Birth, birth was the agonizing discovery of the reflection around you. Hazed, confused, blinding lights from the birthing canals of the Earth. The Titan,

[Gorslap],
the lumbering sack of pulsating flesh dripping with puss. Its three mouths always grin with razor sharp teeth below a great unblinking eye. It's very jolly.

You never met them face to face, but you are familiar with his myth. He still walks among us, perhaps you may find him one day.

In this realm, from your very beginning, after the Titans had cast you aside, dissatisfied with the weak-toy they had forged, Grosth cared for you.

You were dumped in the fetid pits of creation. Despite your abandonment, you learned to feast on the world around you. Grosth, in his wisdom and care raised you, creating a beast to care for you in your infancy, the loyal servant...

[Zanzabir]
Conniving and cruel, but with a spark of mercy toward the truly pitiful.

It's feral guidance taught you the violence of this world, allowing you to feast on the blood and miasma. Every piece of Grosth's blessings gave you strength and spirit...

With time, you became a young adult, no longer weening on the guardian, it left, returning to it's master's call.

>[B] Relished in your new found freedom, taking to the skies and exploring the open world around you.

Theme: https://youtu.be/C56aBZYsxko

At the cavern, you feel a shortness of breath, the shrill cool air of the outside world, alongside it's beckoning shimmers of godrays sing to your very soul.

The first step, followed by a second, then to a full-sprint. You get a glance at a fox, the first time you've ever seen one. You scream in juvenile fear and excitement, it screams in return, prompting you to continue your jog through the rocky yet foliage filled forest. The site of the animals sprinting around you, sends you into a manic energetic sprint of your own.

You begin to tear up, glancing up at the sun, seeing the beauty of the early mid-day glimmer through a section of clouds. As you realize that you've entered a clearing, hundreds of tiny little birds, bluejays, robins, doves and the like all scatter to the air at your sudden emergence from the forest into the cliffed clearing.

You sprint, laughing in half joy of the beauty surrounding you, half in traumatic depression from the contrast of the enslaved pits of the Titan's below. You run, the rocky texture impaling on your soles, a significant difference from the cushioning grass you once were upon. You chase these beautiful flying things, despite the jagged stones, hopping to avoid the more prominent ones before ultimately, as you approach the ledge of the cliff, plummet downward...

You sweep up, the momentum and your arched back allowing your skin-like wings to harness the power of the wind, sailing across the horizon before you divert yourself to the heavens once more.

You gleam at the rivers, the colors of the surface, the herds of horses, cattle and other wildlife sprinting across the open plains as you yet again let out a bellowing cry of sheer surprise, amazement and relief. Yet, all this below, as beautiful as it was, you set your sights towards the sky. Like a jet, you spring towards the heaven, your ascent accompanied by the sound of those birds all calling in the cacophony, your own shrill screams joining them.

As you burst through the gelatinous, light and puffy cold cloud, you are awarded with the warmth of the very Sun itself. The God rays causing your eyes to squint as you bask in it's golden glory. You scream once more in sobbing happiness.

This realm, Liréroram (The Slop World), is your home, and you are blessed in it, under the servitude of Grosth, you will relish in this gift he bestowed unto you.

Many years gone, travelling, no limit beyond you and your wings. You have seen the world, observing those who made structures from afar, the Titans who led them from the front in chains.

Some approached you, but you always fled, and those strong enough to catch you knew well enough to stay away from you. You feared the walls of their surface dwellings. How could they breathe?

You had the beauty of Grosth's Gift all around, all you had to do was but hunt or scavenge and you would find everything to nourish you.

More time passed, you felt a yearning in your loins, something felt off, you felt loneliness for the first time. So long had it been since you felt the touch of your guardian, the world has changed, but it does not surprise you. The wars the Titans held always held some catastrophic earth shattering events. Yet, you lived through them all, watching those who dwelled under the boot of the Titans scream in pointless pleas for salvation, only for the survivors to be tasked to rebuild those holdings.

More time has passed, as it always does marching forward. It was here, on these tundras, you encountered it, the pillars of stone. Black obsidian, etched in odd grooves. When you had laid your hand on it's center. It contorted, and a blast of knowledge filled your mind.

With it, came the knowledge once forgotten in your mind. You came to know the secrets of life and death itself, the power that had flown through you began to spring out from the stone, focusing on the central pillar which further deformed into an effigy. This effigy bore the resemblance of your God...

>Grosth stands before you, the obsidian statue croaks, a song of flatulence emerges from the massive hole of the maw of your God, and it speaks to you.

"My son, your father stands before you. Be not afraid, for you are my favored. See the destiny that has unfolded for you, this is my divine plan. This lost power is now mine and I will not forget the one to deliver it to me. My brothers and sister will not forget this slight, but you will be the first of your kind, as you were when my negligent bastard made you.

As a further award... I will grant you one favor... what shall it be?"

The statue groaned, pulsating in gassy and intestinal writhing, the purple energy from the pillars fisting and crawling it's way through the figure's hole.

_____
Hey guys, hope you've been enjoying the thread so far. Two days ago was my birthday and these past few days I've been making that transition from my old job to my new job alongside working on an art project for a commune.

I'm still working on the storyline for this quest, I've been asking some friends for assistance as managers/co-writers, but since i haven't gotten much luck, I'll extend the offer here.

If anyone is interested in the position, add me on discord:
Guayo#1938

Keep in mind, being in that position will spoil slot of the planned stuff, but, since this quest is primarily user generated it won't be that bad. Hope you guys are having a good day, I should be uploading the next post soon tonight or tomorrow night.

>[LEGENDS]Which Titan is mightiest?
>Clarification required:
Do you wish to classify by:
Strength, magical prowess, age, size? Titans come in different shapes and forms and have different properties, being direct descendants of the Gods.

However, all gods have a Patron Titan and Patron Demi-God.
As in, a favorite child and favorite grand-child. These can be considered the representatives of the Gods in the realms.

>[LEGENDS] Largest Civilization
The fluctuations of political, religious and magical elements makes founding a long-lasting civilizations nigh impossible.

However, the bastions of the civil world, the first founders of what we could call a settlement beyond nomadic tribes goes to the followers of Toth/Thoth, whose followers create machinations and devices to allow further development into technology.

There are several outposts of Thoth-Worshippers, the largest and main fortress is located at the highest peak of the world, the hollowed out mountain turned factory, Named by Toth himself, the divine language is unknown to the slave races. To the languages of slaves, it is named as follows:

>Ur Dobar [ Dwarf ]
Hearth Creation

>Ur Sluda [ Goblin ]
Bright Creation

>Ur Sekur [ Human ]
Rock Creation

Elves do not honor any God with their language except for Lir, they refer to any creation, location, name or otherwise associate of other Gods as:

>Ÿethari [Elven]
Falsehood

The opposite, as in, the ones with the least development in culture, technology and civilized societies will be the followers of Lir, who, due to their God's will, tend to try and stick to their feral nature. Most cults of Lir barely exceed a few family groups, and most tend to stay within their own family packs.

Elves in this case, refer to these related agents, locations and artefacts of Lir as:

>Lirena [ Elven ]
Yore

"Yore" as in:
"of long ago or former times (used in nostalgic or mock-nostalgic recollection)."

As the elves consider Lir the true and only God.

>>4959723
>[LEGENDS] Most dangerous being in the world currently.

Armok, as the gods are still living and capable of entering the realm, any of the Gods can descend should they wish. However, seeing as Armok was the first to arrive and literally created the realm, he has the quickest entry to this reality he made for his own amusement. Hence why the world is often filled with more violence than any other abstract element (An animal, that wishes to survive, must consume/destroy another life, to sustain itself.)

Armok is also known as the strongest of all the Gods, whose sheer will-power & devotion towards battle engrosses him with godly power to vanquish any being in the realm, which, as mentioned before, are bound by the rules of loss & victory (Death & Life).

The statue contorts, fisting more of the purple energy into it's orifice as more flatulence sounds emerge from it's pit. Hums and sighs of content can be heard as the energy enters into the abyss that is the effigy's maw.

After that moment, the effigy returns to it's natural pose, some chunks of obsidian cracking off and onto the floor as it did. The bellowing voice of your god can be heard once more, emanating from the hole.

"You are wise to beckon such a thing. Family is important, even among the Gods. For this, however, you shall seek the aid of my brother. Bacchus, to grant you a kindred spirit to satisfy your request...

Specifically, you shall seek out his favored daughter. Otosuzsmu the Fortune Weaver. Her band of decadents should be near the southern towers of Thoth, seek out his cultists, they will know of her whereabouts. Those craftsmen value her appraisal of their masterworks.

Be wary, child, do not approach the Weaver without a tribute. Less she take something valuable of yours...

>The statue contorts once more, it's maw glaring far across the tundra, seemingly at something miles away. However, after a few minutes of quiet gazing, it returns to it's original posture.

The most worthy of tributes are usually artefacts. Followed by rare gemstones and refined cultural crafts or tools.

You do not personally know Otosuzsmu or her personal tastes, but perhaps you can divise a plan based on the environment around you and investigating her name or other actors in the realm (all names of the Demigods, seeing as they are related to the slave-races, use slave race cultural names for example).

>With a series of quick gestures, the once dead weasel twitches and stands once more, The figure, now having approached a closer distance is in few view.

Halt, a stranger! You do not know this person!
This a human, they have a shaved head, dark ash-colored skin. If they had hair, it would be light ginger orange.

He is wearing:
Woolen Hood
A woolen decorated stole
Woolen Robes Set
Leather Boots

The man glances over the scene for a moment and then speaks in a low-pitched tone.

"So, you are the mortal that I've been tasked to speak with? Griblet, are you not?"

>[LEGENDS]
Necromantic summonings automatically attack any being that is intent on attacking it's master via magical telepathic readings. However, un-skilled necromancers tend to summon unrefined/faulty undead that are difficult to control and attack the living indiscriminantely (at the exclusion of their masters).

>Cautiously ask who sent him and what he wants.

"I am sent by my master. I've come with a proposition, I am surprised you can speak, beastman. Regardless, you have spiked my emperor's interest and he has sent me to curry your favor and propose an offer. If you are willing to hear?"

He crosses his arms, they are covered in odd scales, gleaming with a metallic shine.

"My master has known the transgression your own has committed. He knows he is violating the pact. You are to come under acquisition, to ensure your safety. You of course, Griblet, are not guilty of the sins of your betters. If you allow yourself to be subdued, and to be taken to fair enslavement, then I can ensure your protection and just return to your ilk among the races."

The man finishes, nodding, expecting your response.

I will ask once more, will you come willingly? There's not much time before he arrives, and I cannot promise he will be as diplomatic unless you willingly submit."

Sorry for the delays and lack of drawings this week. I have an art show coming up tomorrow so I'm finalizing my commitments. I'll also begin working at my new job next month. So I've been juggling that.

I've also managed to get three volunteers to assist me in organizing and tracking the quest. Though our schedules are very different, though, once we iron out the wrinkles, will be a good strength for the readers.

Just keeping you guys up to date, I'll hit the ground running once I get the chance. Let's keep up this interesting run so far and encounter alot of !FUN!

You continue your flight, heading toward the declared land of promise.

As you fly over, you do take note of some events undergoing below and the change of environment.

Of it, you encoutner:

>A herd of antelopes sprinting across a savanah.

>A small group of riders, ontop of horses, humanoid figures. They pause for a moment, seemingly spotting you as you fly-by.

>A minor river tributary, there is no bridge, but do note from above that is full of fish and several rocky crossings.

Finally over the horizon you spot a sillohuette cutting through the rocky-wasteland like knife. A large granite tower, literred with pockets of homes, man-toiled fields and quarries. The most substantial feature of this hewn structure is the vast amount of chimneys that are at the tip of this once decent hill, spewing smokee into the sky, giving it the illussion of a mini volcano.

You spot several windows and other points of entry-ways, the main form, where you see a variety of peoples, vehicles and stocks being moved around are at the massive gate-way at the front.

>On the outskirts of the territory, you swoop down, landing in a rice paddy field, approaching a nearby man.

>Halt a stranger!
You do not know this old man.
He is wearing a slave collar, it is made of wood with it's mechanism of iron.

He is emaciated, although he has a dislocated and paunchy stomach. His frame is lanky and hunched. His skin is a tanned set, with brown eyes. His hair is salt & pepper colored, with a few strings of silvered blonde.

>You start off by asking about the territroy.
The man, although uncertain and shocked, answers your question in a raspy and tired voice.

"This is home, The Southern Tower, Darok Ono..."

He stays staring at you, awaiting your next question.

You take notice of a dwarf spotting you from the side of the levy, beginning to make his way towards you.

>Halt this is a stranger!
This is a dwarf, a short creature fond of industry and alcohol.
They are wearing:
An iron helm.
A pig iron mail scale shirt.
A pig iron - wood flail.
A coyote leather hosen (x2)
A pig iron set of demi-gauntlets.

The dwarf immediately draws out a stone tablet and a small engraving chisel, proceeding to carve somethings on it.After he's done, he glances to the slave, gripping at his flail. The slave whimpers momentarily before returning to harvesting the rice at a quickened pace. The dwarf, diverting his attention back to you.

>Fly to the top of Tower #3022
With a quick flapping of your wings, you stand at the top of the tower. The top is decorated with railings and floors of gold, encrusted with some sort of lumniscent gem-stone, there is a rock table and throne, alongisde several slabs of stone and chiselling equipment. Likewise, there is a hatch door that leads into the tower.

As you wait, you hear two people emerge, speaking with one another.

"It won't be long till they return, my lord. If we do not engage in further preventative matters, it'll be a matter of time before they drain our stores."

A young man's voice resounds, speaking in the human tongue.

A gruff and impetous scoff can be heard from the second person, seemingly a dwarf, returning the statement.

"The schedule does not ALLOW for this task that you are beckoning the clan for. If they intend to starve us out, then we will simply produce more food, that'll stiffen the effect of their sieges."

The male dwarf states in the human tongue. Seemingly taking his place at the throne by the sound of the stone throne screeching against the floor.

"But sire, we don't KNOW if they're planning a siege, they could pull a warbeast or five, or maybe cast spells!"

Another scoff from the dwarf.

"We have EXPLICIT procedures for these events, I would not expect such understanding from a tool, but from you, my dear Dosla? You are certainly a dissapointment to my expectations... Now..."

A brief pause.

"In exactly five seconds, signal the horn for relaxation and rest."

A brief pause again, followed by a sigh.

"Yes... sire..."

You peer up from the ledge, spotting two figures, unfortunately they also spot you.

A dwarf, clad in an iron mail suit, sits at the gold desk, clearly having been interrupted in his engraving on the stone slabs. He has a distinctly large head, tired eyes and a stern almost expressionless gaze. His eyes are a dark brown, his skin is olive and his hair is pepper & salt with age. His left eye is replaced with some sort of metal contraption, albeit, the "eye" in this device seems mostly surrogate, made of colored glass.

A human, he is completely hairless, adorned in a variety of cloth, silk and satin robes. He has an ornate gold nose piercing which is connected tightly to the dwarves shoulder.
He is holding an ornate brass and bone horn, seemingly interrupted from using it.

"Hmph? What's this? The schedule does not yet accept visitations." The dwarf states, a huff from his nose.

"N-no sir, it does not... it's not a guest, I think..."
The man states, seemingly perturbed by the slight gaze, seeing as they only see the tip of your insectoid head.

"W-what are you? Be you beast or demon? Who sent you? Are you with the elves?!"
The man states, withdrawing a small knife, standing inbetween you and the dwarf, his nose being tugged slightly to the left, keeping him venturing forward. The dwarf, keeping one eye on the tablet, the other on the tablet.

The man stares in confusion and awe. Responding a bit more carefully, with some reverance in their tone.

The man is interrupted suddenly, as the dwarf suddenly screams, standing and heading down the hatch-door.

"LATE! LATE! WE ARE TWO SECONDS LATE BEHIND SCHEDULE. IF YOU WISH TO ENTERTAIN THIS UNINVITED, UNSCHEDULED GUEST, THEN SO BE IT, BUT IT COMES OUT OF YOUR LEISURE TIME!"

Due to the dwarves tantrum, he had ripped off the human's nose, mangling the flesh, as blood trickled down the man's face in his new wound. He takes a moment to breathe in from his mouth, some blood bubbling from where his nostrils were.

"Y-Yes, my lord... forgive me... I will instruc-"

"You will NOT. You will attend this guest, he is of higher status. As is custom, but again, out of YOUR leisure time."

The dwarf slams the hatch, leaving the two of you alone. The man taking a moment to shudder off the pain, withdrawing the horn, inhaling sharply (only to cough up blood from his nostrils), this time inhaling from his mouth, blows into the horn, giving a loud siren call.

After a few moments, several horns can be heard, replicating the first call. You spot below, various people shambling about, some task-masters whipping others into palce, others moving diligently without any need for speed. Some caravans are noted getting up from their resting position, rushing towards the entrance of the fortress, in a large line.

You attempt to assist the man with his wound. Although there is not much for you to do, after he shoves you away, grunting in a pleading motion to stop. He grits, exasperating his pain and blowing his nose, sending a good chunk of blood and other clot from his now open nostrils outward, landing climatically on the floor.

After this exasperation, he takes a seat, looking at you in a sense of shame. Answering your question.

"Dosla... my name is Dosla..."

He begins to cry, although he turns his gaze away, staring off into the horizon, specifically at the forest.

"Otosuzsmu...? We send her goblets, everyone once in a while some amulet or earring for her appraisal. We let her keep one sometimes, as a bond of good faith... The Lirites? They can hardly make anything that isn't grown for them... they are pride in breeding animals though, if you're able to tame them, or catch them.

Why, what business do you have with her?"

His nostrils blow up a blood bubble, causing him to recoil in a sharp pain.

"Ga-a-a-ah!" He utters with a quick exasperation.

"Oooh, come, come, I need to have this seen to..."

>You follow the man, asking for his input about an offering.

Following the man, you follow a small, personal and beautifully etched stone staircase, before entering into a maginificent chamber. Several dwarven scribes and other sophisticated types can be seen gathering around a pillar, on which, an idol of Toth can be seen.

They seem to be dangling a sort of canister with boiling content, a nearby dwarf is awaiting for the congregate to get together...

The man, striding past, states:
"An offering? For her? She is a fan of spiders, though, she genuinely enjoys beautiful gems and cups. I'm headed to the chamber of Eusoch's Devoted, they'll mend this wound..."

You continue below, following the man. The tower widens, expanding to a large ring formationw ith several layers. You can see apartments, shanty houses, workshops a plenty and all sorts of business occuring within the domain.

Many dwarves go about hauling, crafting, talking, harvesting, all engaged in some sort of task diligently. Various slaves can be seen doing menial work, aiding the dwarves or otherwise standing at attention.

Many eyes stare at you as you travel the crowded area, following the man from the top of the tower, becoming increasingly difficult to catch up through the busy streets.

Most distinctly, you notice a giant tube, seemingly exactly where the statue of Thoth was in the upper segments of the tower was.
You can see a crowd of folk gathering around it now...

>Approach the tube

Okay, so we need to obtain a spider-themed cup/goblet with gems.
Doing some form of contract work to get money and buy an offering seems to be the simplest route, since we don't need to eat or sleep.

Unrelated, but how does Ghoulification work? Also, is necromancy forbidden around these parts?

You approach the tube, several folk, dwarf & human-alike crowd around as some sort of event is about to take place.

An elegant, tout and well-dressed dwarfman takes a stand at a small podium infront of the tube.

Some time passes, as a large hissing sound and chanting can be heard from the above floor. The once babbling and gossiping crowd suddenly begin to hush one another at the sound of the feint humming.

After a few moments, an object can be heard tumbling down the tube. A few seconds passing, a golden tablet of sorts slams down onto the podium.

The fat dwarf observes it over with great strain. Everyone returns tot heir gossiping albeit with hushed tones, awaiting the fat dwarf.

>Ghoulification
The process of ghoulification must be done in one of two matters.
1. Use with a spell from afar (takes five rounds of non-interrupted chanting).
2. Use with touch (Must be gripping subject, for at least one round, uninterrupted).

The victims will be said to have "been infected with a contagious ghoulish condition". Ghouls are opposed to life and attack/infect all living creatures who aren’t ghouls through bites. They still retain their sentience and can still bleed to death, but they maintain their gear and abilities, are immune to drowning, do not tire, and have extravision.

>Is Necromancy forbidden around these parts?
You are the first necromancer in existence in this realm. The mortal-law does not have any regulation against your kind or even know of your kind.

As you approach the center-place, you can over hear the whispers of those you walk passed.

A duo of dwarves whisper:
"These attacks are becoming notoriously annoying. Someone needs to do something about it."

"They raid, destroy our progress and we must rebuild the lost progress, we won't have time to attack them at this rate..."

As you cross two human slaves.
"I hope we will recieve extra rations tonight. My brother needs it..."

"We won't, we never do... the Eusoch followers will take care of him don't worry."

Suddenly, after a few moments, the fat dwarf bombastically begins to announce... (see image).

Seems he has alot to read off.

To avoid startling him and getting our ass kicked.

Since we're the first ever necromancer in this realm, we could help the dwarves scare the shit out of elves in exchange for some moolah. We just need to have an escape plan in case they try to force us to stay.

Another ability related question. What's a Nightmare and a Grue?
We still haven't done much in terms of testing our stuff, but summoning seems like the best offensive spell we have and won't cause "strong feelings" like more straightforward necromancy.
>>
GM Note:

Sorry for the delays again, my trip is today so I've been planning and getting my affairs in order this past week.

>>4990763
>Taking a moment to quickly ask one of the nearby dwarves, you hushly ask about who is attacking.

The dwarf glances up at you, goes through a bit of a shock and then stammers.

"Uhh... E-elves? I think..."

>>4990844
You stay a while longer, listening to the big fat man orate, mostly advertizements from guilds, prayers and blessings to certain families. Meticulously chanting out complex schedule and conditions to work orders, eventually they finish. Setting the tablet down, as the tube opens up, sending it plummeting down to the next floor.

>What is a Nightmare/Grue?
A nightmare or grue is an entity of undead origin, specifically of the mind.

In essence, a nightmare is an invasive thought, a spell laid on sleeping individuals to give them a nightmare.

The grue aspect is an elemental of darkness that manifests in the real world, in myth and legends they are associated with heart-attacks. They can be commonly dispelled with light, thus, no one really knows how they look, but you can often hear them shuffling around and "feel" them due to tension in the air.

The Nightmare aspect requires either chanting at a sleeping individual, or touching their head to instill the nightmare into them. The grue requires intense meditation and a dark space to invoke them in.

You manage to spot the man distant in the crowd, seemingly looking for you as well.

You decide to make your approach to the man. As the crowd begins to disperse some of the dwarves that had previously been distracted by the speech are now focusing on you. Some are startled, perturbed or disgusted, clearly you entice some sort of visceral reaction from these people.

You notice a dwarf, thankfully dwarves wear their emotions on their sleeves at least the non political ones, stomping towards you. Puffed up and red face you can hear him mutter loudly "Another elven beastman? I'll show him what for..." With his eyes dead locked into yours.

He's having to push others aside, giving you some time to think to something.

>WDYD?
>Premeptively strike the dwarf (1d100)

You take a sudden jump, your wings unfurling and taking a few strokes into the air. Sending several dwarves and humans stumbling back in shock.

With your height, you're able to locate the wounded man and soar to him. As you do, the population around you seem to panic, some gathering themselves and trailing behind you with tools, basic weapons and the like.

As you land next to the man, he holds up his arms, halting the small militia.

"WAIT! He is a guest, calm yourselves, all!"

The group almost instantly calms down, heading off, a few lingering dwarves stare, clearly disgruntled. But Dosla lifts his ring finger, this instantly makes the grumbling dwarves red-headed but stomp away.

Dosla turns to you, seemingly annoyed, but continues on, holding his nose still.
"PLEASE, don't stray, the dwarves here are NOT kindred to outsiders..."

He continues on, you follow behind.

Continuing to the lower levels, you discover a massive sprawl of shanty towns carved into rock and wooden constructs. Thousands of humans, some collared, some not can be seen lingering throughout the impoverished pseudo-cityscape.

Continuing through the muddy pathway, drenching yourself in a matter of filth. You arrive at a large camp, many of the folk here are being tended to by a variety of people. Many people are being treated here, you catch glimpse of a child, bound by a rusted iron collar, as a healer pulls on it, ripping some of the flesh revealing pus and boils. The healer applies some ointments into the collar, while the child grips tightly onto their assumed mother's hand, who stares in dispair.

Snapping out of the morbid, you notice Dosla approaching a central figure. A jellyfish woman, who glances at the two.

"Dosla?" The jellyfishwoman states in a gentle tone.

"Yes, yes, hello Apla, I ran into an accident, please tend to my friend while I get a graft from inside." Dosla states, running off, leaving you with the jellyfishwoman.

>WDYD?

Bragging of your peak physique, she gleams you over once or twice. Clasping her hands gingerly, as you ask her not to touch, she coifully retracts her tentacles, wrapping them around her bulbous head.

"OH! Oh my, is that so? How wonderous... My apologies, you are the first time I've seen such a person. Are you here as an auxilliary to the Outpost aswell?"

She continues to scan over your body, her curious attention darting over each part of your body in clinical detail.

>What's the deal with schedules around here?
"Ah, you've noticed too? The dwarves are particularly strict about them, especially those of the high caste. They follow their god's strictness devotedly. Such passionate creatures."

>What about you?
"I am a humble servant of Eusoch, I come to heal the sick, the wounded, to cure them of their pain. Such is our crusade, and also, to show them the gift of honey!"

She smiles, taking a honeycomb out of her makeshift tunic, offering the sweet treat to you.

>What do you think of bringing dead people back to life?
What...? That's not possible, friend. All souls of the Gods belong to them, if it was in their wisdom to take them, and Eusoch forbid it, but if they died... Well, it is to them, to bring them back would be sacrilige. Like a thief? You understand?"

She stares at you, perplexed by the question for a moment, but nodding to herself, furrowed brow. Still holding up the honeycomb to you.

>What do you think about my fly penis?
"Well, it's quite normal, albeit, you still have your foreskin! That's quite nice, I could take it off of you if you'd like, it would serve for a greater good."

She states, with a sincere smile and excitement.

GM Note:

Just got back from the new job, I don't think given the scheduling and workload I'll have much free time to continue this for the time being.

I'll archive this page and continue it when I have an extended period to continue another burst.

Thank you all for your time and for helping flesh out a more concise system.

If anyone would like to take over, or even start their own, please go ahead. I think life just has the bad habit of making me busy in regards to these sort of projects. I'll probably stick to smaller things in the future, or just draw-fagging in general.

Hope you all have a great night.
