Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The day after battling the Time Patrol, slaughtering many of them including the Supreme Kai of Time herself, Karn had woken up hungry. So after sneaking out of Hyoizaburoo’s and Yuiyui’s place and heading north, Karn found and slayed three giant ursine creatures and took them back to the village to fix. But something else followed him, a white dragon chased and attacked. After a brief battle Karn emerged victorious, and instead of the bears fed dragon to the village before heading home. Back home, Karn dove back into training, testing his Foresight before focusing on pushing the limits of his Energy Body technique. And as we rejoin Karn, you’ve been testing it’s might against your wife, Meloka.

“Now that’s more like it.” you say, your wife leaping back from you. Focusing on your ki you pour more energy into your shield, it reforming around your left arm where she’d slashed you more than a dozen times. In under a second it fully reforms, the damage to it disappearing as if it never happened.. “C’mon, I’m just getting started! Let’s see just how strong this technique really is!”
“Well now, that’s new.” she says, looking at your arm as well. “Looks like you’ve gotten better.”
“Guess all the ki control’s paying off.” you reply retaking your stance. She does the same, hands glowing with gathered energy not yet outside her body. You’re almost certain she’ll have other tricks up her sleeves you’ve never seen before.

But what are you going to do about that?

“Let’s see just how much your armor can take.” Meloka calls, again creating one of her blades. She then swings it back and forth at range, launching a dozen or so Ki Needles towards you with two swipes of her blade. You cross your arms before your face, the dozen or so needles piercing into your Energy Body and barely sticking into your skin. “Shyaaa!!”

KABOOM

The needles all detonate simultaneously, blasting your front, but your ki holds the worst of it at bay. You barely feel the shock at all, lowering your arms as the smoke fades. You look yourself over, and see that other than the dozen tiny pinprick holes in your upper body, arms and legs, you’re completely unharmed by her blast. However, your Energy Body isn’t. Her attack disabled your Energy Body completely, leaving your arm wounds to bleed freely again.

“Huh. That’s different.” you say, focusing a few seconds and reactivating your Energy Body. And not too soon, as though the clearing smoke see another of Meloka’s attacks closing in. You see a ball of ki as big across as your shoulders, small, barely-noticeable spikes present on it’s surface. You recognize her Hellflower attack, and immediately guard your face again. The sphere bursts, you feeling several dozen of her Ki Needles pierce into your armor. “Shi-!”

KABOOOOOM

Again her attack detonates, this time you feeling it a bit more than before. But it still doesn’t exactly hurt, your energy barrier mitigating the blast. However, once more her attack’s explosion disabled your Energy Body. You keep working with your wife on this, and sure enough every time a blast hits your shields fall. Reactivating it takes only a second or two at most, but you not able to hold it yet against that sort of attack. Something you’ll doubtlessly be able to train for later, and increase your shield’s durability.

“That’s a cool technique!” Chaya shouts as you and your wife both power down but remain in your forms,, you seeing your eldest daughter flying over and rejoining you all. However her armor is scraps, body covered in blood and burns! The hell happened to her?
“BIG SIS!” Caulifla shouts, blasting up to Chaya as her Stand Triumph appears with a “KIIIIIIIIIIIII!!” Triumph quickly heals Chaya’s injuries, your family gathering around your daughter. “What happened?”
“I fought Shellshock, and he got some really powerful upgrades.” she says, thrn you hear her stomach growl audibly. “Oh, man. I’m hungry!”

You are too, but the question is, what do you want to go eat?

“I am too kiddo, now that you mention it.” you say, your own stomach growling in response. “What’s say we all head into the city, and see what we can find for lunch?”

“Yeah!”
“Okay!”
“Let’s Go!”

Your kids all shout their confirmations, Chaya rushing back into the old ship to take off the scraps of her armor. She’s back out in a minute wearing just a simple training suit, and you all take to the sky together. Taking the short flight from your private island to the mainland, you all land down on the outskirts of the city by a familiar home. As you touch down, the door opens to reveal a familiar face.

“Grandpa Tatsu!!” your kids shout, several of the young ones almost tackling him in excitement.
“Well now, aren’t you all a sight for sore eyes.” he says with a chuckle, wincing a bit as your kids hug him right. “Where are you all off to?”
“Lookin’ for somewhere to eat!” Caulifla says. “You wanna come too?”
“Well, why not?” he replies, looking over to you. “Have any idea what you’re looking for?”
“Something that’ll hold all of us, at least.” you reply with a laugh. “Know any place worth a visit?”
“As a matter of a fact, I think I do.” he answers. “I can take a few minutes detour before heading over to teach the afternoon’s Oozaru lessons. Let’s go.”

And with Tatsu now leading, your group of now twelve head deeper into the city. After a minute or so of walking, you begin smelling something. Something delicious.

“What’s that? It smells real good!” Chaya says, her nose picking up the smell a few steps before her siblings’ do. “Hey, are we almost there?”
“We’re here.” Tatsu says, turning and knocking twice on a squarish, average-looking building barely if at all bigger than Tatsu’s own small, one person home. A slide in the door opens, revealing an unfamiliar scarred face, but it doesn’t speak. It looks over your group, then after a second slides the hatch back shut.
“Hello I- Awww.” Caulifla says, clearly disappointed the person didn’t want to talk to her. A moment later the door opens, revealing a staircase descending down into the planet. “Woah! Cool!”

“After you.” Tatsu says, gesturing to you all. Caulifla excitedly goes first, rushing in and down the steep staircase. Meloka passes you Okira to hold onto, and holds the hands of Maz and Kayle so they don’t trip down them as well while Karn Jr clings to her. You all head down, you glancing back and seeing Tatsu exchanging a few quiet words with the doorman before following you. You raise an eyebrow at him inquisitively, but he only shakes his head. But you don’t have time to ponder it long, as the staircase comes to an abrupt end at another door. Chaya raises a hand to knock on the door, but jerks to a stop as she turns towards Tatsu. “Let me.”

Your old man then walks up to this second door, and instead of knocking inserts what looks like some sort of keycard into the middle of the door. There’s an electronic beep, and the door slides open to your left revealing what lies inside. It’s a dimly-lit place, resembling some of the seedier bars from Planet Vegeta before it’s destruction. Yet everything is clean, and the wonderous smells of cooking flesh from your youth living like a tribal in the village are absolutely intoxicating. This place’s smells make you feel like you’ve gone back to your own childhood. However, you notice immediately that none of the tables are empty, and gettin all your family together at one would take pushing two of them together.

But how do you handle arrangements?

“Well, everyone, go find somewhere to take a seat.” you say, looking around the room. Several people have now looked up to notice you and your group, the kids spreading out and taking empty seats at several different tables The younger kids all run off in different directions, taking seats at different tables. The other, older Saiyan’s all accommodate them, making room at their tables for your kids. Meanwhile you and Tatsu take seats at a table full of grizzled, heavily-scarred old vets. They all seem vaguely familiar, no doubt warriors you’ve fought with in different conflicts.

“This place takes me back.” you say, your old man giving you a smirk. “Smells like our village.”
“Thought you’d appreciate a taste of home.” he replies, as an older serving woman comes out with a platter for each of you. The servings aren’t massive, not like you’ve been used to with Silver or devouring your own prey, but it smells just right. You never did learn how the old crones would fix the village meat, but it was always fantastic. “We’ve come a long way from our old home.”
“That we have.” you say, turning and taking a completely not paranoid look around the room to check on your kids. They’re all talking with different people around the room, who you realize are all old soldiers. Aside from your kids, you and Meloka are still the youngest people in the room. “We’ve been through a lot, but the worst the universe had to throw at us wasn’t enough to take us out.”
“For now.” he says, looking over to Chaya speaking with a couple of one-armed, scarred up veterans. “But I wonder how long it will last.”

“I’m sure that, once they grow up, the kids of their generation will be unstoppable.” you say. “Bardock’s boys both have surpassed Super Saiyan, and I’m sure others are just as strong.”
“It’s not their strength I doubt, but their instincts.” he says, sounding a note worried. “Growing on this planet has made them far more powerful, but it’s been too peaceful. They haven’t had to struggle just to survive, fighting and killing just to eat their next meal. Without that drive to survive, they won’t make it. They’ll fall, just as easily as those Patrollers you fought yesterday.”

He makes a fair point, you realize as you think on it. Even today, in a place with competition nowhere near her level, Chaya was burned and beaten bloody. Something needs to be done to address this problem.

“I was thinking about something, while we were on the Crimson Demons’ planet.” you say, Tatsu tilting his head in curiosity. “What about making a planet to train the youth on, filled with dangerous creatures that they’re sent to survive on their own? Something like our early missions for the PTO, just without aiming to exterminating entire populations and instead on survival.”
“Ha! More like the good ole’ days, huh?” one of the more heavily-scarred warriors says. “Well, how would we find creatures strong enough to give a glowin’ Super Saiyan a fight?”

“Ask the stiffs in that lab of theirs.” you say, remembering the monster they were creating. “They’re working on something deep underground called Project: Scyther. Basically they’re mixing different creatures with Saibamen to make even more dangerous beasts. One of them got loose awhile back, and nearly took my head off. They gave it swords for arms and wings, plus it could near-completely hide it’s presence.”
“Those things are here, on our world?” an older, grey-haired Saiyan woman missing her left eye and ear. “Something strong enough to almost kill even you?!”
“It wasn’t exactly strong. Just fast, and extremely dangerous.” you answer her. “But if we take this idea to those psychos, I’m sure they’d be more than happy to do it.”

“I had a similar idea.” Tatsu says, surprising the other old vets. “Without sufficient threats, the youth will grow up soft and spoiled. They need to know how to handle hunger, thirst, and exhaustion as well as other threats. A planet like this, while good for their bodies to strengthen them when developing, will not be good to develop their combat instincts.”
“If it stays this peaceful.” another says, the table sharing a laugh at that. Truthfully, New Salda has been subjected to many attacks over the years. But you doubt it will happen again anytime soon, especially after what the Covenant went through for doing that.
“I don’t think anyone’s dumb enough to do that again.” another one says.

“I’ve gotta head out, lessons are starting soon.” Tatsu says, you rising with him and clasping forearms. “You enjoy your meal, those kids aren’t gonna teach themselves to control their Oozaru forms.”
“Give ‘em hell old man.” you reply, Tatsu leaving as you sit back down. In the company of these old vets, you enjoy your meal while everyone shares stories of some of the more dangerous creatures they’ve encountered in their travels. Honestly, many of them sound even more dangerous than Project: Scyther’s monster.

“Training time.” you reply.

“Broly, Chaya. You two take your siblings back to the ship, and train there.” you say, turning to your kids. “I want both of you to practice, one at a time against your other siblings. As I was doing earlier.”
“Wait, really?” Chaya asks, sounding a bit excited.
“Is that a good idea?” Broly asks, a note of worry in his voice. “What if something happens?”
“Caulifla will be there with you all.” you say, ruffling both his and her hair. “If anyone gets hurt, she’ll be in charge. Sound good?”
“Let’s go!!” Caulifla shouts excitedly, leaping into the air and pumping a fist. “I haven’t got to spar with big sis in forever! This is gonna be fun!”

“Yeah, I’m in.” Chaya says, taking to the air as well. “Let’s go!”
“Good luck everyone. Make sure to keep your guard up.” Meloka says, your kids minus Okira and Karn Jr, and Chilli as well since he’s still off world all take off together. Meloka turns to you, Karn Jr dozing lazily in her arms. “You ready to go?”
“Yeah, let’s head on over.” you say, placing the first two fingers of your right on your forehead. Meloka does the same, the two of you using your Instant Transmission to travel to the reserved training grounds by your students. “Afternoon Lattu, Rugu, Nion. Here a little early I see.”

“Was making up for you not being with us yesterday, and that everyone already cleared out.” Lattu says, the young woman having made considerable progress since you’d first met her. “I know I could have pushed myself harder.”
“Well, I’ll make sure to correct that today.” you reply with a chuckle. “Can’t have any disciples of mine caught slacking off after all.”

After a few minutes the rest of your students have gathered, and you get them organized into their usual groups split between the chambers and sparring. Meloka sits atop one of the chambers, directing the different groups sparring below as they fight with both Okira and Karn Jr curled up in her lap. You raise your hand to your forehead, focusing on the first group’s ki in the chamber to teleport to with Instant Transmission when a thought hits you. Your Instant Transmission always takes a second or three to use, not because the focusing on the technique takes so long, but focusing your ki sense. What if there was a better way, when your mind is connected to New Salda and you’re able to sense every single living being simultaneously? Learning to do such a thing on your own would be very beneficial in the long run. So you decide to try for it, and expand your senses.

“Let’s try this.” you say, closing your eyes and focusing fully on your ki sense. You focus first on your wife’s ki, her resting strength still surpassing all of your students’. Then while focused on her might, you try also to focus on another of your students’ power. But you can’t do it, at least not yet. “Hey, New Salda. Mind lending me a hand?”
“Of course, my Champion.” the avatar of your planet answers, you feeling the planet’s energy surge into you. But more importantly, comes New Salda’s awareness. You suddenly feel the ki of every living being on the planet in your mind, you able to sense every single living being.

“Thanks. I’m going to be working on something, so I’ll keep connecting in and out with you.” you think to New Salda. “Trying to work on my own senses here.”
“I understand.” New Salda’s booming voice answers. “I will help you however I can, my Champion.”
“Appreciate it.” you reply, and slowly begin pulling back your mind from New Salda’s presence. You feel your awareness of the lesser beings, plants and smaller animals fading immediately. But you hold onto that awareness of your fellow Saiyans, focusing mainly on the sixty five presences all nearby. You lose the others on the planet near-immediately after, but use all your focus to hold onto your current awareness. Now here’s the real challenge: can you hold it? “Alright, let’s do this.”

Maintaining your focus, you slowly open your eyes and raise your right hand. Pressing the first two fingers of your right hand to your forehead, you’re already keenly aware of everyone’s ki. So you pick the first target, and in less than a second since you raised your hand teleport. One moment you’re outside the nearest gravity chamber, and the next you see Totoma, Salat, Ketan, Ayote, and Artoa all cranking out suspended vertical sit-ups. The gravity of at least thirty times New Salda’s own slams down onto you, nearly shocking you and breaking your concentration. But you manage to hold onto your focus, maintaining your mental connection to the sixty five ki signatures.

“Excellent form, keep up the work.” you say, teleporting right from this chamber to another. You go from room to room, maintaining your focus on everyone’s ki while instructing your students and correcting their technique over the next few hours. Once the training is over, you stand on the roof by Meloka and address your exhausted students. “Well done today everyone. That’s the kind of effort I want to see from you all each and every day! Now go get yourselves rested up, because tomorrow we’re going even harder!”

It's already getting hard. Each time you present us a really good option to pick, but we can't pick them all.
Only one passive may be active. While I have one that I'm looking most forward to right now, others are good too. Good enough that not taking them is a difficult choice. When you will show other options it will get even harder to decide.

Am I getting this right? We will select one passive that we will use all the time in the next months? We will take this to its mastery and beyond.

But we will still know the other ones and be able to use them but be not very good at them.

Or can we theoretically train this like that. Focus on two passives:

And this goes on and on like this. Result would be that we would have two passives trained and available and we could switch between them depending on what we need:

“They’re really improving.” Meloka says, the two of you watching as your students begin to tiredly disperse. Some in small groups, others taking off on their own, while still more stay around, talking amongst themselves. Meanwhile Meloka raises her open right hand, twists her arm while lowering it and closing her fist. You see dozens, possibly even hundreds of your Berserker fist-sized ki orbs all flying towards her from all sides. You hadn’t even noticed she’d sent out so many of her Warding Eyes, focused as you were on maintaining your own focus. “I almost feel bad for whatever dumbass tries attacking us next time.”

“Speak for yourself. I’d rather fight all of them at once than try and take you on hun.” you reply. “Seriously, I still can’t control more than two of those things at once.”
“Wait, you’re trying to manually control them?” she asks, and you immediately realize you know less of her technique than you’d thought. “I haven’t actually directly controlled them in forever.”
“Directly? How do you control them then?” you ask her, intrigued. “I thought I just wasn’t good enough to handle it.”
“Well, yes and no.” she says, you tilting your head a bit and raising an eyebrow. “Focus on my ki, and only mine. You have to pay really close attention to sense what I’m about to do.”

“Sure.” you reply, dropping your focus from the sixty five presences to just hers. You see her aura blazing around her, it flaring up and burning bright like a star. But then her aura expands. You can sense it, and see it as her energy grows larger and larger. Her ki signature diffuses a little bit, but by both watching with your eyes and following it with your senses can clearly see what she’s doing. In a technique almost polar opposite to your Energy Body, Meloka has diffused her aura out to at least dozens of yards out from her on all sides! “Woah.”
“Right now my limit’s about seventeen yards or so.” she says, as if it’s nothing. And having your aura spread out like this allows me to have much greater spatial awareness than I normally would. Anything within this space, living or non living all touch my energy when it’s spread like this. Which gives me a near-flawless picture of everything going on around me while it’s active.”

“No wonder you can flip and spin like a madwoman and not lose yourself.” you reply with a chuckle as you consider the advantages and disadvantages of such a skill.

Having that level of awareness she’s speaking of would make it nearly-impossible for anyone to ever sneak up on you while it’s active, but by it’s nature such a skill couldn’t be used simultaneously with the Energy Body technique. And with your ki spread out so thin over a wide area, gathering it back to you would take precious seconds in a fight if you needed to shield yourself with your Energy Body or Barrier. Trading a more passive, reactive defensive style of confronting threats for an active one, identifying threats as soon as they enter your range. It admittedly would require a higher amount of skill and attention from you to use, but could possibly identify invisible, or even otherwise-undetectable threats in your vicinity.

“First, raise your aura out around yourself.” she instructs, the golden flame-like aura of Super Saiyan 3 blazing around her body. “Then once you’ve done that, focus on your aura.”
“Haaa!” you shout, emerald aura blazing up as you unleash your Ascended Berserker’s full power. “Like this?”
“You’ll get tired real quick if you do this at full power, but to see it for yourself it’ll be fine.” she advises. “Now, focus on your ki itself, the energy radiating off your body. Shape it, much like you would with your Barrier into a sphere around you.”

As she says this her aura shifts, and instead of pulsing up from the ground like a flame it pulses out from her from all sides. The usual shape of aura changes, forming a sphere around her just wider that she is tall.

“And once you’ve achieved this much, all that’s left is training your longevity and range.” she says, the sphere rapidly expanding out from her. As it grows the light becomes less concentrated, aura dimming until you can no longer see it around her. But you can feel it, her presence absolutely surrounds you right now. “Alright, give it a shot.”
“Here goes.” you say, sighing out and closing your eyes. You focus exclusively on your aura and your aura alone, feeling your energy surge to the beating of your heart. You feel your energy around you, focusing on it and shaping it. As Meloka had, you focus on letting your energy out from you into a circle. At first your aura doesn’t want to, it resisting moving against it’s natural shape. But with sustained effort your blazing emerald power bends to your will, radiating out from you in a controlled sphere instead of just going wild.

“Well well, look at you.” Meloka says with a smile, your energy forming a sphere around you just wider than you are tall. Looks like you’re getting it. “Now, close your eyes and focus.”
“Sure.” you reply, closing your eyes and focusing on holding your aura where it is. As you do, suddenly through your aura you sense something moving fast right at you! It’s about the size of your fist, moving fast right towards your face. Without opening your eyes you reach up, catching what feels to be a rock in your right hand. Opening your eyes, you see Meloka smirking at you.

“Heh, looks like you’re getting it.” she says, you looking at her curiously. “You felt that, didn’t you? The moment it entered your aura, you sensed it.”
“Yeah, I did.” you say, looking at it a moment before tossing it back. Meloka catches it with telekinesis, lifting another dozen or so off the ground as well. “Let’s keep going.”

Again you close your eyes, all focus going to your aura as Meloka prepares to toss more of the stones your way. For the next twenty or so minutes she keeps pitching rocks at you, and thanks to the awareness on your energy you can feel it every time something enters that range. So despite not “seeing” the rocks coming, you’re able to catch or deflect each and every of them. But then something’s different, you sense energy blasting at you. Not from the side Meloka just pitched one at you from, but behind you!

“HAAA!!” you shout, spinning and giving a right backhand to the sphere of energy fired at you. Your reflect launches it up and over you, flying off into the forest before crashing down and exploding. Opening your eyes, you see a familiar, but surprised face you deflected their sneak attack.

In his Primal form, Vegeta’s power is currently around double your own. Yet you doubt this is the full extent of his might. “So why’re you here? Wanting to test this power out?”

“Heh. You know me too well, Karn.” King Vegeta says with a smirk. “Who better to test my ultimate power against than you?”
“Well, I’ll accept your challenge.” you say, lifting up into the air. He rises up as well, the two of you floating a dozen or so yards apart with golden and emerald auras flaring wildly. The two of you stare each other down for several seconds, then simultaneously blitz forward and swing a heavy right for each other. Your fists clash, and just as you’d sensed he’s stronger than you. The shockwave blasts the both of you back away, and even despite your larger frame, are knocked back further from the king than he is from you.

“Come on, let me see just how strong this form is!” Vegeta replies, flaring his aura up even further. Looks like he’s fired up and ready for a fight. But what about you? How do you handle this?

“Let’s do this!” you say, crossing your arms before you and focusing. You draw your aura in, preparing to harden it into your Energy Body. But before you can, suddenly there’s a fist in your jaw!
“Too slow!” Vegeta shouts, his attack launching you back. The punch sends you spinning, twisting around two or three times before righting yourself. And he’s already right back in your face, this time firing a straight left for your face. “HAAAA!!”
“Tch!” you exhale, twisting back counterclockwise around his fist. You feel the wind from his punch across your face, and as he sails past you reach up with your right hand and grab the back of his head. With a twist you spin, continuing the momentum and launch Vegeta with a, “RRRAAAAAAA!!”

With a roar you pitch King Vegeta back down planetside. He sails down, smashing through a couple trees before crashing to the ground deep in the forest. Using your second or two before he comes back at you you focus, and once more shape ki into your glowing Energy Body. Emerald ki coalesces, forming an inches-thick barrier between your body and the outside world. An instant later you hear Vegeta blast off, and see his golden aura exploding up out of the trees. You take your fighting stance, left arm up defensively and right arm back ready to fight. Vegeta blasts off the ground towards you, aura blazing.

“HAAAAAAAAA!!” he roars, blitzing towards you.
“HRRRAAAAAA!!” you bellow, charging towards him as well. You both pull back your right fists, then still roaring swing. Your giant fist slams into his more-powerful punch, Energy Body robbing his strike of much of his blow’s power. So the resulting shockwave blasts far more into him than you, knocking Vegeta back. Using your power you twist, left forearm slamming into his chest as you charge through him. Your speed continues forward, driving Vegeta back and slam him back-first into and through one of New Salda’s giant trees before launching him away. “RRRAAAAA!!”

You watch the king smash right through several giant trees before finally coming to a stop, the timber falling and making a cleared path between the two of you. You see him embedded back-first into a tree, held in place by the wood. After a second you feel his power climbing, roaring to the sky as he unleashes his power.

“HRRRRYAAAAAAA!!” he roars, Explosive Wave shattering the tree and freeing him from it’s ligneous embrace. The tree falls behind him, crashing to the earth as Vegeta once more takes his fighting stance. You do the same, gaze meeting the king’s with a smirk. Time to see just how well this technique really works!

It is not that pointless. It has a flaw of being slower. Yet despite this it is in fact quite useful. Remember when long ago Meloka fought Komand'r?

In Saiyan Conqueror Quest 158 Epilogue Chaya used it for a few moments to get more power, and then quickly reverted when it was no longer needed.

Now in a hypothetical situation where primal Vegeta has already grabbed his opponent and then he quickly transformed into Ultra version of Primal the lack of speed will not be a problem.

>2x Primal is more than a lot.

Opponent is not going to have nice time in this situation.

Now obviously it is very situational, but in right moment Ultra can be helpful. Especially if you can transform in and out of it quickly. Plus it does not have the body damaging factor that Kaio Ken has.
Anyway Berserker transformations are much better than all of this.

This needs multiform. Two Karns and one summons DDF. I's probably easy to guess that Divine Dragon Force will not be slowed by Energy Body and will be able to move through it like a ghost, but better to check for sure. If using DDF will interact in some way with DDF it's good to know now, though it seems unlikely.

It is for physical damage. And although ki attacks are also physical, it is less effective against them. Especially piercing/slashing.
There are things I can’t say about it, until you spend a lot of time training and fully understand the limits of each of the possible techniques. I will say, however, that none of the passives would interfere with Stands.

The way I see it, he might just be neck and neck with us in the next decade or so. He's still fairly young, he has a lot of room to grow.

I think young Vegeta will probably surpass us within the next few years, in terms of power, and just stay above us from then. But that's kinda natural, isn't it? He's from the next generation, and was training on a higher level from a younger age. Even if he ends up higher in raw power, Karn will still always have things Vegeta never did, such as DDF, so I don't see it as that big of a deal.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 159 Intermission-

AGE 749, NEW SALDA

“Was that the last one for today?” you ask, sighing and slumping in your throne.
“He was the last.” Emilia says from behind your shoulder. In her first, childlike form the Zoldyck assassin has been your constant shadow for the past several years. Even before you beat her father. “No more petitioners or disputes scheduled for you today, my king.”
“Finally.” you say, rising from the Saiyan King throne and stretching both arms overhead.

You are King Vegeta the Fourth, undisputed ruler of the Saiyan race and former disciple of the legendary Super Saiyan Karn himself. And although it’s been years since he was your teacher, his lessons of hard work, never giving up, and winning no matter the personal cost have stuck with you. Through the Covenant War, the different invasions your people have struggled against, and even the nobles’ Uprising, you have remained strong and steadfast. And also diligent in your own training. Being right means nothing without the power to enforce it, and to protect what’s yours. So as you stretch you walk from the room, headed out the back door to resume your training today.

“Finished with those guys already?” Nappa asks you, falling in with the Royal Guard as you stride through the fortress of a palace towards the nearest exit. “I don’t see why you bother with all this.”
“The people need to know I am here for them.” you explain, giving a sideways glance to one of Vox’s cameras as you continue walking down the hall. “All of them. If they think I don’t have the greatest good in mind, we could one day face another Uprising.”
“HA! You say that like you and Emilia there didn’t clean house.” Nappa says with a chuckle, you and your entourage leaving the palace and taking to the sky. Over half of the Guard remain behind, only Galick and two of his chosen accompany you on this training exercise. And they’re chosen for a very specific reason. “Well well, looks like Bardock’s already here.”

The six of you drop out of the sky, landing in a well-worn crater made by weeks of giants sparring. This spot, well out of the way from the city and near the far edge of the continent, is the perfect place for the training you all do.

“About time you showed up.” Bardock grumbles, sitting up on the rock he’d been laying on. Beside him are Leyas and Sarada, both of who’m have recently joined in with their more unique form. Thanks to their bodies being reconstructed by demon magic years ago. “Ready to get to work?”
“Of course.” you say, focusing your ki into a sphere in your hand. You pitch the orb skyward, it floating hopefully out of the coming brawl’s range as you clench your fist. “Burst open and mix!!”

The orb’s energies mix, radiating with Blutz Waves similarly to a full moon which New Salda doesn’t possess. But with this technique relying on natural moonlight is irrelevant, as you’re thankful for while flashing up into a Super Saiyan before staring up at it. You feel it immediately, the primal thirst for combat surging through your body as it begins transforming.

“Guuuuhaaaah! Grrrrraaaaaa! GRRRROOOOAAAAAAARRR!!” you bellow, transforming into your giant Golden Oozaru form. You see three other Golden Oozaru, Bardock, Nappa, and Galick all having transformed too. But every Oozaru here isn’t golden, Leyas and Sarada having taken on their pale-furred, red-eyes Demonic Oozaru forms.
“GRRRAAAAAAAA!!” Leyas roars, immediately swinging at you with a wild right. But you were ready, left backhanding his strike over your head while punching him in the chest with your right. “Guuurh!?”

“RRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, grabbing his right wrist with your left and using your arms to throw him up and over your head. As he soars through the sky, suddenly another fist strikes you in the right side of your jaw. “Guuurrruuh?”
“RRROOOOOAAAAAAAA!!” Sarada bellows, her hard left knocking you off balance and spinning you around. You stagger a couple steps back, finding your balance just as she leaps at you swinging both fists down like meteoric hammers. You brace for impact, knowing you can’t stop that much force and catch her attack on your crossed arms. The powerful blow knocks you off your feet, but you don’t just take it. The moment your feet leave the ground you curl up, grabbing onto her wrists as your back hits the ground and kick her in the gut with both feet. Your blow launches her over you as you roll back onto all fours, just in time to see Bardock knock Nappa back down to earth.

“GWWWRRRROOOOOAAAAAAAR!!!” Bardock bellows in the air, fists pounding his chest in challenge. A challenge you’re more than willing to accept.
“RRRROOOOAAAAAAARR!!” you roar, immediately launching yourself into the air at him. And you weren’t alone, everyone else doing the same within a few seconds. You lose yourself for a time in the brawl, dishing out and taking hits from everyone including Galick. But after a time the others begin firing out, first Galick who’s had the least experience with the form. Then Leyas and Sarada, and finally Nappa too. Leaving just you and Bardock. Except he’s no longer fighting, instead staring up at the power ball curiously. You then watch as he closes his eyes, attempting to condense his power. You realize what he’s trying and don’t attack, but already realize this way won’t work for achieving Primal.

“This power responds to a need, not a desire.” Karn’s voice from the day you finally achieved it rings in your mind, and suddenly you have an idea.

“Raven, you and Ubo wouldn’t happen to have a few minutes to help me with something, would you?” you think to the planet’s Guardian and Ubo. If anyone can help you with this, it’s them.
“Of course, what is it?” she asks, you quickly outlining your idea and then ask if it’ll work. A second later one of her portals appears beside your head. “You do realize how dangerous this is, right? Even like this he’s several times stronger than you.”
“That’s exactly what I need.” you reply, voice a dull roar. “A need, not a desire.”
“As you wish.” she replies, and after a few seconds you feel it. Ubo’s powerful ki rocketing down from somewhere in space towards New Salda. It’s time. You see the blazing red of his aura dropping down towards you, the alien being many dozens of times stronger than you in this form. “Close your eyes, Vegeta. And see the wall you wish to overcome.”

And you do, closing your eyes for a few seconds. You feel Raven’s magic in your mind, an uncomfortable sensation to be sure, but when you open your eyes there he is. Floating where Ubo was now stands Karn, long emerald hair of his Super Saiyan 3 form flowing just as it had on Sanghelios last time you’d battled him. And even injured to the point of being crippled, he’d managed to keep up with your Primal power. But not this time!

“RRRRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, firing off a quick left jab and immediately follow it up with a right hook. “Karn” before you dodges the jab easily, then flies up over your right. Before you can retaliate he’s closed the distance, and slams a boot right into your nose. His blow is several times stronger than Sarada’s and makes your eyes water, hands instinctively going to your face as you stagger back. Yet as soon as you do, you realize what a mistake it is. A titanic force suddenly slams into your gut, launching you up into the air as it winds you. “GUUUUURH!!”

And again before you can recover, a tremendous force slams into your back and sends you crashing down to the ground. You lay there dazed for a moment, then begin pushing yourself back upright to see Karn gathering a massive ball of energy overhead. As you see him, emerald aura blazing, your mind goes back to that fay, years ago...

“The power responds to a need, not a desire right?” you’d asked him on the alien world, after Towa’d again saved Meloka and you’d spent so much time trying to regain that golden power you now wield with ease. “I need you to hit me with everything you’ve got! Either I become a Super Saiyan again right here, right now, or I die. If it kills me, I’m unworthy to lead you or any other Saiyan!”

Karn had lept into the air, and much like right now he’d gathered a giant energy bomb overhead to drop onto you. It’s time!

“HAAAAAA!” ‘Karn’ bellows, launching the crimson orb down.
“GALICK GUN!!” you shout, gathering your own energy as well into the purple beam. “FIRE!!!”

Your purple beam soars up into the sky, crashing into the slowly descending ball of death. You push with all your might, but your strength still doesn’t measure up! You strain against Karn’s tremendous attack, it headed right for you and pushing your beam back despite you giving it everything you’ve got!

“SHIT!” you shout, dropping your attack and catching the ball with your giant hands, The weight and power of Karn’s might slams down onto you, and you feel it begin slowly crushing you.
“No, I’m not done yet!” you think, knees buckling under this power. Your feet digdown into the ground, his attack overpowering even your prodigious Golden Oozaru might.

Then you begin to feel something rising inside you, something alien yet somehow familiar. Like a raging inferno the swelling of power starts in the tip of your tail, surging down into your hips and up into your spine as your entire body spasms. You feel rage, primal fury at Karn still being ahead of you despite so much of your life being dedicated to surpassing him that burns you alive!

“GRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar with primal ferocity, a power surging up from deep within you. You remember this power from the times you’ve touched it before, and let it surge forth from the depths of your soul unhindered. This glorious golden power flows up, body rapidly shrinking as your body condenses and magnifies the power of the Golden Oozaru several times over. And as the transformation finishes you hold the attack back with your left hand, it no longer overwhelming and easy enough to hold back one-handed. Drawing back your right fist, you take careful aim then punch it right back! You watch the massive blast soar back up into the air, Ubo narrowly dodging his own hit.

“N-No way! He really did it!” Sarada shouts, you smirking as everyone who’s already reverted back down gathers around. Both Ubo and Raven do as well, Ubo for curiosity’s sake and Raven with a smile. You turn to the two of them, and offer a crisp Saiyan salute.
“Thank you. Both of you.” you say, then again take your fighting stance. “So Ubo. Want to help me test the limits of this form?”
“HA! Now that’s more like it!” Ubo shouts, taking his own fighting stance as Raven and everyone else flies back away from the two of you. This is gonna be fun! “HRRRRAAAAA!!”
“HAAAAAAAAA!!”

Your fists collide with tremendous, earth-shaking force as you and Ubo clash. Not only is your power far greater, but in the Primal form your body has changed. No longer is it that of a teenager, but has morphed into that of a man in his prime. You’re taller, more muscular, and have greater reach, on top of the tremendous increase in power. As well as ferocity.

“GGRRRRAAAAA!!” you roar, ducking one of the taller man’s punches and slamming your shoulder into his gut. He wheezes in surprise, you taking advantage of the moment and wrap your arms around his midsection. Something you couldn’t do before. Then before he can recover you plant your feet, and with all your might flip him backwards. “RRRRAAAAAAAAA!!”

Leaping back away and turning, you see your attack buried Ubo’s upper body completely in the ground, leaving only his lower body and legs sticking straight up in the air.

“That’s it, my king!” Galick cheers you on.
“Woah!” Sarada shouts excitedly. “No way!”
“Hell yeah!” Leyas cheers.
“HRRRRRR!!” Ubo exerts, ground bursting up around him as he blasts his way free. He revolves his body around upright, looking no worse for wear. “Haha! Now this is getting interesting! You’re a lot stronger now!”
“Thanks. Been trying to retake this form for weeks.” you say, again retaking your stance. “Wanna keep going?”
“Of course!” Ubo replies, crimson aura suddenly blazing up around him as his strength magnifies. “Let’s go!”

While I couldn't find specific heat numbers for ammonium nitrate, liquid ammonium had a comparable Sp. heat to that of water, while aluminum has a significantly lower. So it'd do okay-ish, but you'd be better served with a house of bricks to stop the little pigs from getting in.

I just realized Zamasu from our timeline is going to get even more frustrated in the future when he learns about Karn's deed at the Chili's wedding. I honestly can't imagine the depths of his anger at mortals when he learns one of them erased a Time Kai.

Well I can explain it real simple. Uses a MTG-style mana system, but instead of dedicated cards like MTG/Pokémon you can play any of the cards in that zone. Top left is cost, and Overrealm means you can play it for the cost noted beside the keyword if you send all the cards from the discard pile to out-of-play in exchange for it leaving the field at the end of the turn. Then SKoT’s effect means that those cards don’t leave at the end of her turn. So basically she goes full aggro with cards that shouldn’t hit more than once by letting them stick around.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

As Karn was sparring with Meloka, Chaya arrived fresh from a battle at Dreadzone that left her in tatters. Once the testing of the durability of Energy Body was finished Karn and his family, along with his old man Tatsu went out and ate. Sitting with his old man Karn told Tatsu and several older vets of his idea for making a training world for future Saiyans, a world of death to hone their talent and instincts as Planet Vegeta had done for you all. Once the meal was over Karn sent the kids off to train together while he and Meloka trained their students. As Karn’s awareness had been stifled by his technique of trying to focus constantly on the students’ ki simultaneously, King Vegeta had once more transformed. And as we rejoin Karn, you’s launched the king into one of New Salda’s giant trees.

“HRRRRYAAAAAAA!!” King Vegeta roars, Explosive Wave shattering the tree around him and freeing him from it’s ligneous embrace. The tree begins falling behind him, crashing to the earth as Vegeta once more takes his fighting stance. You do the same, gaze meeting the king’s with a smirk. Time to see just how well this Energy Body technique can compensate against his greater power. The two of you stare each other down, waiting on the other to make the first move. And Vegeta is the first to move. “HAAAAAAA!!”

Throwing his right hand forward Vegeta suddenly fires a wave of golden ki your way. But you’re ready, flying aside to his left and blitzing towards him. Vegeta ends the beam, twisting and firing a Death Slash with his left hand at you. Stopping you hold your arms before you, bracing and catching his Death Slash on your Energy Body-coated arms.

“Tch!” you exhale, feeling the sting of his energy as it slices through your armor and into your arms. But your Energy Body seemingly absorbs most of the attack’s power, you barely feel the blades barely nicking you.
“Wait, what?” King Vegeta says, you lowering your arms and inspecting the damage. And as you focus, your Energy Body quickly restoring itself.
“Heh. That wasn’t a bad hit.” you say, retaking your fighting stance. “But I hope it wasn’t your best.”
“Hardly!” he replies, golden aura blazing around him. This is going to be something else.

But how do you do this?
