Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

A brawl broke out with the Time Patrol at Chilli and Megumin’s wedding. After the sudden apparent death of Karn’s father Tatsu he went on a rampage, slaughtering Trunks and the other Time Patrollers who showed up. Then Mechikabura himself entered the fray, after the appearance of a Demon God Demigra and the Supreme Kai of Time unleashed an army of herselves against Mechikabura’s army of Towa, and as the battle progressed the Towa Karn has children with drive one of the Time Kais towards him with her god-slaying spear while he was supposedly frozen in time. And with a single strike, Divine Dragon Force ended one of the Supreme Kais of Time. With this Karn displayed his might to all the powers that be, the Time Patrol and Mechikabura’s forces all left. After this Karn confronted Okira about her Stand, the two using their power to fix everything besides the people the battle had broken. And as we rejoin Karn, Okira’s Imagine Dragon just finished restoring the ceremony site.

“Mmrrmmmm.” Okira mumbles as she curls up in a littl ball your arms. You hold your daughter close, and feel a yawn escape your own mouth as well. Using your Ascended Berserker on top of Towa’s Supervillain powerup has left your own energy completely wiped out. You feel that if you sit down and stay there for only a minute, you’d already be asleep. But before you can do any of that, you have things to do first. Walking back to your seat you find your suit coat, restored to pristine condition by Imagine Dragon’s ability. You grab the coat, reaching into the inner pockets and grabbing the gifts you’d discovered beneath New Salda for the happy couple. Wrapping them to your sides with your tail and holding the box Mechikabura gave to you for Chilli, you walk over to him. And as he sees you walking up, you notice his gaze suddenly gets really serious.

“Here. Should have given these to you two earlier, looking back.” you say, holding Mechikabura’s present aloft telepathically while reaching into your pocket. With one hand you draw both from an inner pocket, neither activating. “But I didn’t think they’d get through your shield.”
“Oh, right.” he says, raising his right hand and snapping his fingers. Beams of light begin piercing through the shadowy dome, the darkness vanishing after no more than a dozen seconds. “We don’t need it anymore I guess. So what’re these?”
“Be careful.” you tell them, holding the magical-seeming weapons aloft with telekinesis and gently catching the box with your free hand. “They’re dangerous swords.”
“Swords?” Megumin asks, grabbing one. And the azure blade immediately springs forth from the tip.

“WOAH!!” she shouts, nearly dropping the weapon in surprise. She flails about with it a moment, forcing you to lean back to avoid getting your neck or head cut. “Oh, sorry!”
“As I said, be careful.” you say with a chuckle, Chilli carefully taking his gifted weapon and examining it. Without fully gripping the weapon he doesn’t activate it, instead turning the ivory handle over in his hands. “Found these in a hidden room back in the ruins, guarded by a stone-armored corpse.”
“Wait, a hidden room?” he asks, suddenly interested. “Hidden how?”

“A stone armor zombie?! That sounds cool!” Megumin asks, eyes sparkling a bit. You explain everything: heading down into the ruins to find their gifts, phasing through the wall, encountering the knight, and his hammer destroying the ground and sending everything else that was in the room deeper into the planet.
“Illusions made of light magic...” Chilli mutters, hand going to his chin as he ponders something. Probably figuring out how he could do such a thing himself. As he does you smile, reach out and ruffle his hair. This starts him a bit, but when he sees you the sudden tension in his body immediately vanishes. And is replaced by curiousity. “Dad?”
“You’re a smart one, that brain of yours works faster than mine kiddo.” you tell him, seeing the sudden surprise on his face. “I’m real proud of you, Chilli.”

Your son clearly doesn’t know how to respond, and after trying and failing to find the words for several seconds simply floats up a bit and hugs you around your neck. You return the hug, feeling his conflicting emotions through the touch. After at least twenty seconds his grip finally loosens up, you seeing his eyes are a little teary.

“Oh, and this is for you too.” you tell him, remembering Mechikabura’s gift and handing it to him. “From Mechikabura, he wanted me to give this to you.”
“Uhh, okay?” he replies, taking it. And the moment he touches it, his entire body freezes.
“Chilli?” you ask, confused by his reaction. But he tucks it away inside his Crimson Demon robes, then reaches out telepathically.
“It feels like a spellbook.” your son thinks to you. “I saw Raven’s she got from Aku, but it wasn’t anywhere this -heavy-. Going to study it later.”
“Sounds good.” you say, smiling to him as her parents walk up. Excusing yourself you let them talk, looking around to decide where to go next.

Seeing Freeza, still surprisingly holding onto his Golden form speaking with Towa in her demoness form, you decide that conversation could be interesting. So you start walking towards them, Caulifla following behind you curiously. As you approach, you see Freeza still maintaining his Golden form easily, while Towa’s already reverted back to her own base.

“-lling me that he actually did it?” Freeza asks her. “He actually killed the Supreme Kai of Time?”
“Yes, but actually no.” she answers as you walk up behind her. “His Stand erased -A- Time Kai, but with so many of her present it’s impossible to say which one. However, that will have-eep!”
“Hey.” you say, right hand on her hip as you hug her to your right side.
“Well now, look at you, godslayer.” Freeza says with a smirk. “Finally killed one of those meddling Time Kais, I hear.”
“It was only with Towa’s help here.” you say, hugging her a bit closer to you for a moment. “I’m still not fast enough to keep up with beings stronger than your Golden form. But she backed one right up to me with her god-slaying spear. And before she knew it, I got her. Divine Dragon Force wiped her out.”

“Ah yes, your Stand.” Freeza answers. “Father did take the Covenant’s dagger home for study, and to figure out how such a thing works. Once he understands how it works better, perhaps I shall get my own Stand and be able to fight her alongside you?”
“Well if you do get one, I hope it’s as useful as mine.” you answer. Then you gesture to Koruza, he and his older sister Milha sleeping curled up on a bench together, and continue. “Or as powerful as Koruza’s. His Stand let him beat the older Chaya, and it wasn’t even a contest.”
“It is a frightening thing, but he has gained control of it over the years.” Towa says, a warm smile on her face. “All the children have gotten much more powerful. And now that we have our defenses fully operational, you’ll be able to come back and start visiting us again.”
“I’n looking forward to it.” you reply with a yawn. Towa giving you a kiss before walking herself over to the sleeping kids. Freeza turns back to you after a moment, an odd, unreadable expression on his face.

“You really did it. You really killed that Kai.” he repeats, shaking his head in seeming disbelief. “To think. Now I see why you haven’t used your Stand against me. Doesn’t seem to be a power you can hold back with.”
“Not in the slightest.” you say. “When Divine Dragon Force pierces an opponent, it turns their own ki against them, destroying them completely. Once the process starts it’s over, even undoing my attack by rewinding time couldn’t stop it and save her. Once that attack lands, its over.”
“Well that’s absolutely broken.” comes a voice from behind you.

“Well, L-Lord Freeza, I actually don’t have a Stand myself.” he replies, suddenly and very clearly nervous coming face-to-face with Freeza. “But I know a good bit about them. And other things which I’m certain you’ll want to know about. Which is why I’m here, Lord Freeza. I’m here to offer up my services and more importantly knowledge to your cause.”

“Oh hoho? It would seem my reputation precedes me even here, to beings clearly not of the Crimson Demon clan.” Freeza replies, focused on the young man before him. “So tell me, what is your name?”
“My name is Satou Kazuma.” he replies, you noticing he collected Trunks’ sword and now has it on his back. “And I know the secret for obtaining what you desire most.”
“Ohh? Many have made such a claim over the years.” Freeza answers, suddenly intense. “But do you? Do you truly?”
“I know the secret of how to make you immortal!” the boy shouts, surprising you, Freeza, and even his companion. Immortality? Really? Could this inconspicuous man know such a thing? He was clearly able to grab Trunks’ sword during the battle, so there is more to him than you’d first though. But do you really believe this claim?

“Heh. Not only do I know how, but more importantly, where.” Kazuma replies, seemingly much more certain of himself. “And I can help you avoid the traps that would lead to you losing your shot at getting it, too.”
“You think there exists a trap that can stop me?” Freeza replies, the man seemingly shrinking at Freeza’s question. “Do you doubt my power? Should I give you a demonstration then?”
“That’s exactly the trap I meant!” Kazuma says, almost cowering but doing his best to appear unafraid in Freeza’s presence. “Killing the wrong people would make the Dragonballs not work, and then you’d lose your chance forever!”

“I see. A clever defense mechanism for a powerful being, doubtlessly made by a planet’s Guardian to ensure their own survival.” Freeza says, pondering as the young man sighs heavily in relief. Then snaps back up to attention as Freeza continues. “However, you said people. Which implies that there is more than one set of these mystical orbs. So, tell me. Where are these planets with the ability to make such wonderful objects, these Dragonballs?”
“I don’t know.” he says, you seeing the surprisingly hopeful expression on Freeza’s face drop. Kazuma coearlt sees this too, and scrambles. “Without a map of the stars and their planets, and names too if they’re available, I won’t be able to find either planet. But if I can see a map of the known universe, I can get us moving in the right directions to fulfill your wish.”
“Wish indeed.” Freeza says, and from his tone you think he’s not fully convinced. He then turns to you, confirming your suspicions. “What do you think, General? Do you think this man speaks of the truth?”

As Freeza says this and returns his gaze to Kazuma, you see the man physically resist flinching at the Emperor’s gaze.

“I know why you hold much of your information back, and what you’re hoping to gain.” Freeza says, glaring at Kazuma. “Your attempts to worm your way into my good graces instead of actively saying what you’re offering and want in return is...annoying. I’ve dealt with more than my share of manipulative assholes, including my brother in my earlier years to want to deal with any more of them. So, if you really want to join me, and offer your knowledge in exchange for a place, then say so. Don’t try games with me.”
“I’d heard from my readings that you preferred to play games, so I was trying my best to play along.” Kazuma says, actually sighing out in relief. “Speaking frankly, I want off this planet. I’m tired of being stuck in this place with such a wide universe out there. Get me-“
“K-K-Kazuma, what are you saying?!” the blue-haired woman says, running up at him. “You can’t just leave! If you don’t beat the Demon King, how am I supposed to get back home?! And after all the help I’ve graciously given you!”
“Like I give a damn!” he shouts, whirling on the so-called goddess with righteous indignation. “Gracious my ass! You’ve done nothing but hold me back since you sent me to this forsaken place! If I could have traded you back in for a special power, I would have done it ages ago!”

Silence hangs over the immediate area, everyone within earshot having stopped to see what’s going on. Neither of them notice, the young man still fuming while the woman trembles, eyes watering.

“Th-That wasn’t very-“ Yunyun starts, but before she even finishes her sentence the blue haired woman shouts, lunging at him.
“KAAAAAZUUUUUMAAAAA??!!” she shouts, almost tackling him over and clinging to him, bawling like a young child. You and Freeza exchange a look, and decide to let this quarrel go without your influence. Yawning you turn away, free hand over your sleeping daughter’s ear to try and block out most of the screeching. You feel your body slowing down even more, and at this rate you’ll doubtlessly be asleep in a matter of minutes. But are you ready to sleep?

He seems as relaxed as ever, yet from where you are floating is just outside Divine Dragon Force’s range. You aren’t sure if that is intentional or not, but the moment you realize this he smirks. “Of course I am. Just because I have taken precautions against the two of you, doesn’t mean that I’m so eager to test them.”
“Thanks for the help earlier.” you say, the old demon smiling a bit smugly yet waving your thanks off.
“You’re the one who did most of the work.” he replies, then addresses Divine Dragon Force directly. “Both of you.”
“I wasn’t sure my abilities could stop one with control over time.” Divine Dragon Force answers him honestly. “Not after last time.”
“Lyin Eyes Requiem.” Mechikabura says, snorting a small bit at your shock. “I knew of Truth’s Stand. It was one I had considered using against her, myself. But it’s power is too limited. It cannot measure up to those who can control time and space, like yourself. After all, that wasn’t the first time you’ve defeated that particular Stand.”

And then the dream ends. Your eyes open to find yourself in an unfamiliar bed, in an unfamiliar room. But as you think this, you realize it isn’t a bed. But the floor. Looking around you see Meloka beside you, Caulifla between you. Okira is still sleeping on your chest, Maz and Kayle both lying on your left arm while Tatsu and Tomi are beside Meloka Several thin, patched blankets cover each of you, and you feel a pillow behind your head. In fact you aren’t wearing your suit coat either, seeing it hanging on the back of a chair Someone clearly took good care of you while you were out, and judging from the familiar broken sword lying in the corner by the chair, realize you must be in Megumin’s folks’ place. “Hey kiddo, sleep good?” you think to him, but don’t get a response. You can sense his energy fine, but him not answering and being clearly off-world is worrying. You focus your energy to teleport to him, but as you do sense the other energy there with him. Ah. No wonder the newlywed couple are still asleep, Freeza probably gifted them a similar pod to the one you and Meloka shared on your own wedding night. Best leave them to it. Switching your focus, you turn your attention to Broly, and reach out to him. “Everything okay son?”

Focusing on the massive ki just outside, it only takes you a moment to understand who’s it is. Recognizing Freeza’s ki you immediately relax, sighing in relief before reaching out to him telepathically.

“Good morning, Freeza.” you think to him. “Did I miss anything interesting yesterday?”
“Good to see your sense of humor survived intact.” Freeza retorts. “And no. Once you were confirmed okay but still not waking up, that ended the celebratory mood for the villagers and everyone started heading home.”
“That’s a damn shame.” you answer, stomach then growling furiously at you. You haven’t eaten since breakfast yesterday, and can clearly feel it. “I need to find something to eat. What about yourself?”
“Oh no, I’m fine myself.” he replies. “Should I find someone awake to begin preparing-?”
“No no, it’s all fine.” you say, using your telekinesis to begin gently lifting children up off of you. “I’m just going to head out and find me something. First time I was here, there were some rather good bears in the forests. Perhaps I’ll hunt down one or two of them.”

Once free of your sleeping family members you carefully place them all back down where you’d been. Fortunately your escape doesn’t wake any of them, you floating over to your shoes and grabbing them before placing the first two fingers of your right hand to your forehead. And a second later teleport, not opening the possibly-loud door.

“Wanna come with?” you ask him, still telepathically as you lower your hand. “Plenty of game on a planet like this.”
“Thanks for the offer, but no.” he replies, Golden form reflecting the little predawn light there is. “I know my instincts don’t seem to be nearly as sharp as your own, but I have a feeling I’m needed here this morning. So I’ll stay here, just in case.”
“I appreciate it. I’ll bring back enough hopefully for everyone.” you say, floating over to the main door and go through, closing it behind you. Now outside you take a deep breath of the predawn air, the first hints of sunlight already peaking over the ridges. Soon enough the sun will rise on another day. But what about you? Which way will you go looking for food?

You decide to head up further north, towards those snow-covered peaks and see what sorts of beings are up around there to eat. Frozen terrains usually have the largest, furriers beasts, bulky creatures built to survive the lack of warmth. Lifting up off the ground you blast off, leaving the village behind. The flight over those distant peaks lasts only a few seconds, clearing the mountaintops to see the land beyond. It looks like a frozen tundra, the plane of white sporadically broken by the chill blue of icy waters. But there is one bright spot of red that draws your eye, seeing a large, four-legged beast with massive tusks laying on it’s side. The creature’s guts are spilled out onto the ice, several smaller beasts tearing away at it. Perhaps they’ll do?

Dropping down silently from the sky, something suddenly spooks the wolf like creatures. They all spin around, you hearing their rumbling growls even from a few dozen feet above them.

CRACK

Something smashes into the ice from below, giant cracks spreading out several dozen yards around the wolves and their prey. This spooks them, the pack taking off at a full sprint from their kill. What the hell? Then the ice shatters, chunks exploding up into the air as a massive ursine creature surfaces. One after another, a dozen or so white-furred bears rise out of the water. The three largest of them are each the size of the entire wolf pack, and will make a much better meal. You continue dropping down from the sky, landing between the creatures and their stolen meal.

“GRRRROOOOAAAAAARR!!” the largest beast bellows, rising up on it’s back legs. Now you’re a big guy, but this beast is easily two if not three times your own height. No doubt such a beast thinks itself king, as you focus your ki sense feel it wields power far greater than anything else for miles and miles. Then to your surprise it’s eyes flash, azure energy gathering around the beast’s giant claws. Looks like this monster is expecting a fight.

But you’re not here for a fight, you’re here for breakfast. Raising your right hand you simply point a finger at it, and fire off a Death Beam. Your emerald energy pierces right though the beast’s head, the azure vanishing from the beast’s claws as it’s ki signature disappears, body falling backward. It crashes down to the ice with a thud, the other beasts all staring at it confused. The smoking hole between it’s eyes burns, the others recoiling at the smell. The two largest beasts remaining both roar as well, a sound full of bestial rage as their claws begin glowing as well, then they charge. They don’t bother trying to show off their size, intimidating you into running and instead simply bear rush you.

“Easy enough.” you say, turning your right hand to the one rushing from your left. And again you fire your Death Beam, the attack ending the smaller of the two creatures. It dies immediately as well, but as you turn the final bear leaps! “What?”
“GWWRRROOOOAAAAAARRR!!” it bellows, dropping down on you claws-first. Both powerful paws slam into your chest, magically-enhanced blades slicing right through your wedding suit’s undershirt.
“Dammit!!” you snarl, the force of it’s drop knocking you down onto your back. As your back hits the ground you retaliate, planting both feet into the beast’s chest and launch it skyward. Flipping backwards and landing back on your feet, you re-raise your arm and fire another Death Beam. As the monster drops your beam pierces through it’s face, cutting through half it’s face as the monster falls. That one crashes down, cracking the ice a bit where it fell but not smashing through. You turn your gaze on the rest of the ursine creatures, who all immediately run away from you. They all dive back into the water, you feeling their kis rapidly retreating from you and their fallen compatriots. “That’s right, run. Anyways.”

Turning your focus from the more cowardly beasts to your kills, you prepare to dress them down. Drawing a small ki blade you slash each of their guts open, organs spilling out onto the frozen ground in puddles of steam. You then lift them all the carcasses with your telekinesis, leaving the guts behind as you fly them all from the frozen wasteland back towards the village. As you cross away from the frozen biome back across the mountains, blood dripping from your chest, you make your way back to the outskirts of the village. Dropping down at the site of the wedding you set each one of the beast’s atop a different crystal table, and blast each one with your ki. Energy bursts into each seperate corpse, setting them all aflame. The three ursine beasts’ fur begins burning off, cooking their meat for you and your family’s consumption.

“Hey Freeza, mind waking everyone up?” you ask him telepathically. “Got breakfast ready for everyone.”
“Oh? Not wanting to abandon your meal?” he asks, you almost sensing his chuckle. “Very well. Give me a few minutes to get everyone up, and we’ll be down there shortly.”
“Sounds good, I’ll-“ you think to him, then suddenly feel something. On the edge of your senses you feel something, something surprisingly powerful. “Something’s coming.”
“I don’t sense anything.” he replies, but you can feel his slight unease. “But we’ll be there as soon as we can.”

Freeza ends the mental link, you turning towards the north where the strange powerlevel is coming from. It doesn’t feel quite like anything you’ve ever felt before, and far stronger than anything else you’ve faced on this world. So what in the hell could it be? You track the powerlevel as it approaches, then as it crests the last mountains you see a terrifyingly awesome sight. It’s a massive, pale-white dragon with a wingspan as wide as your old ship!

“GRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!!” it roars, firing a blast of what looks like some sort of white energy in front of it.
“ATTENTION!! Ancient-class White Dragon sighted, approaching the village from the north!” the automated-sounding alarm voice rings. “All Crimson Demons, prepare for immediate battle! I repeat, all Crimson Demons, report for immediate battle!”

As you watch the dragon turns towards you and the large charred corpses, flying right towards you. Seems it must have smelled your prey as you hauled them back from the village, and wants it. But that bastard’s about to learn why you don’t fuck with-

“RRRRRROOOOOOAAAAAARRR!!” it bellows again, white energy once more blasting forth. But with this roar it isn’t a show, transforming into a powerful blizzard that engulfs and blinds you and the entire village! Focusing as the temperature around you drops, you flare your emerald aura up to shield you from the worst of the biting cold. Even still the blood running down your chest freezes to you, frost forming along your body as it’s magical blizzard continues for several seconds. When it finally ends, allowing you to see again, the entire village is covered in several feet of snow! Despite your aura shielding you from the worst of it, the snowdrifts nearby are almost up to your shoulders. This creature is dangerous. Leaping up out of the snow, the dragon’s gaze immediately focuses solely on you. This thing may have frozen your breakfast, but as your stomach grumbles you know what’s going to replace it. Looks like dragon’s on the menu today!

Sure. By the way I was watching Godzilla vs. Kong recently and they said there that Ghidorah's three heads used telepathy to communicate between each other. Normally when you hear something from Ghidorah it is "ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR". But if you had telepathy maybe you could try talking with it. Karn has telepathy. This made me wonder maybe we could talk to that white dragon?

While it may not speak language that we know, it's not a problem for telepathy. I'm curious if this white one is closer to a wild animal or maybe it has that some of that intellect that Bolas has.

Best if we can grow them like Saibamen quick and in large numbers whenever needed. So Saiyan population will have something to fight in a real life and death scenario. So that our kids and the rest of Saiyan population does not forget what it's like to fight. We don't want them to turn soft.

We already saw how shockingly low skilled in fighting was Super Saiyan 4 Karn Jr despite his massive strength in that "What if epilogue with Janemba".

Divide them (those improved Saibamen or something) into tiers.

Even Chaya can't find any challenge at Dreadzone most of the time. Imagine planting 100 really powerful genetically improved Saibamen (strong enough to kill students) vs 10 of our students. It would be a real challenge and real learning.

Maybe even we can get some challenge from those strongest creations that scientists will possibly make. This is risky, but... it can pay off too.

It's not that he was a unskilled or weak. It's more that lacked the inclination to stop fucking around and end things quickly and definitively.
This kinda reminded me of the concept of Violence of Action.
What that refers to is "the unrestricted use of speed, strength, surprise, and aggression to achieve total dominance against your enemy".
Karn Jr. was clearly better than those Wookies in every metric, save for one of the most important factors in a fight to the death.
It just didn't occur to him that instead of just defending himself from his attackers, he should end them quickly and definitively.
Lacking that immediate usage of lethal force could get him killed, so it is still a serious problem. It just so happens that it's almost impossible to avoid given the era he's gonna grow up in.
Now, obviously there are ways to fix that, but how we go about that is another thing entirely.

That is one of Karn’s biggest advantages over damn near everyone else. He and Meloka both will absolutely go for an immediate killshot when given the chance. That’s the one reason the Time Patrol(generally) get absolutely smoked. The only one who didn’t last fight was Vegito, but instead of finishing the job he got cocky. As most fusions do.

Let's not do any of that at New Salda. Leave planet fine and as it is, a home worth fighting for.

Instead let's find some different planet and use help of scientists to turn it into a real death world. Filled with dangerous creatures, a playground and test ground for those genetically engineered super Saibamen and other things.

This place would be truly dangerous and a good place for new Saiyans to train. Another good thing about this is that if something went really wrong there, the problem would be contained in a single planet.

Then Karn and family and friends come and destroy the problem and scientists can repopulate the death world where Saiyans can fight and learn to survive in harsh conditions.
