Wealth, fame, power. Gold Roger the king of the pirates obtained this and everything else the world had to offer. And his dying words drove countless souls to the seas."You want my treasure? You can have it! I left everything I gathered together in one place. Now you just have to find it!"And that's all well and good but if he REALLY wanted someone to find it maybe he should've put it in an easier to find place! Much like the treasure you're searching for! There is something going on with this island, you can just feel it. A strange whirlpool, sunken treasure that's apparently lost, a slab of jade and an apparently lost tribe of people which your gut instinct tells you has something to do with the lost treasure. But your trip to the library has proven to be not as fruitful as you hoped it to be so now you're searching the town for people who might know something about the lost tribe. Sadly the results are similar with barely anyone even knowing that there used to be another tribe of people on the island. Only the old, and I mean really old, no-teeth having, more wrinkle than face, rocking chair bound happy little grampas and grandmas ever heard about them and even then only in stories told by their parents. Apparently they were a thing when the first settlers arrived on the island but over the years they steadily declined until nobody has seen them anymore. Some say they might still be around but that'd mean they went into hiding. That aside you only heard the same thing you read in books. The natives never really caused much trouble but they never really mingled with the settlers. And apparently the settlers gave up on getting along with them once they realized how unpleasant being around them was. Not in the sense that they were bad people, just that they were perpetually melancholic. Buuuuut there is ONE lead that you might be able to follow up on. Apparently someone managed to marry one of the natives at one point and their descendant is still alive, albeit she's a recluse who lives on the other end of the island away from everyone.>Let's find the others and exchange what we found!>Let's meet this strange lady!>Other?

"Okay so we know there is a granny on this island but it's kinda far away. So how about we go and meet up with the others? See if they found anything else. Objections? No? Good!"Finding Murrays group isn't that big of a challenge as he literally has a guy who's taller than the tallest building in town with him. So it's really just a matter of walking towards the giants until you get there and Greki greets you when you get there."Ah welcome back captain! The fishman is inside to ask about some things. He should be back any minute now.""Good stuff Tiny! You found anything?""Maybe. Hard to say though. I think you should discuss things with him. He has the details not me."You nod happily and prepare yourself to sit down in the shade until your first-mate comes back. However your ears pick up a very distinct sound which you learned to recognize right away. The sound of blood dripping. You look in the direction of the sound and you start getting PISSED. Marcella comes out of an alleyway, clutching her gut which is the source of the blood. She seems to be sweating and cussing a lot under her breath."Sonova-""OY! STITCHES!"You grab Lyda by the hand and rush with her to Hook who sits down next to the building."Take a look at her RIGHT NOW!""Y-Yes!""Hook! What happened to you?!""Shit Lyda am I ever glad to see your pale ass. Ugh. Some little punk got me! Now if it's not too much of a bother could you FIX THIS?!"Marcella removes her hand and reveals the weapon of her attacker still embedded in her wound. It looks very gnarly. She's been stabbed with a white dagger which left a horrifyingly disfigured wound. But the bad news are only coming now."I-I don't think I can!""What the FFFUCK do you mean you CAN'T?""I-I could remove most of the weapon but not all! T-The w-wound!"You take a closer look at Marcellas wound as Lyda cuts a hole in her shirt to reveal the injury in its fullest and it's not normal to say the least. It seems like Marcellas flesh got twisted in a whirling pattern, making her body twist around the weapon and lock its tip in place. You tell Lyda that she must undo it but after a closer look at it she simply shakes her head."I-I can't. This isn't a wound. Look! Her skin and muscles are twisted but they retain their function and she's not bleeding from them, only the stab itself! This isn't a wound!"You manage to put two and two together quick."It's a devil fruit!""I-I need help to cut this thing off!"You lend Lyda your sword and have Gu secure the thing while you cut it in half. Once removed Lyda takes a look at the "wound" and starts shuffling around in her bag. Curiously enough the tip of the weapon is apparently not worth much so she can extract it very easily using a somewhat expensive mixture of medicines which will help stop the bleeding and sterilize the wound. After a quick swap the weapon is fully removed and now Marcella is sedated but the swirly thing in her abdomen remains.
>>4796709welp, SOME FOOL GON' DIE TONIGHT
>>4796709MURDER TIME!
According to Lyda she won't be able to fully treat your navigator until that obstruction is gone so you'll have to rely on natural healing. Luckily since the twisted flesh is not lethal you can just leave it be but you'll still need to provide Marcella with a safe place to rest and it's very likely she won't be able to move very well if at all. Now the concoction she got injected with is starting to have an effect and she's becoming woozy so you must act quickly and ask her more about what transpired."S-Some kid jumped me. He was fast as shit. Cough. Got behind me and stabbed me in the gut."Marcella then makes a pained smile and starts to chuckle."But the little fucker did not know he was hugging a sea urchin! Ha-AGH! It hurts to laugh!"You think that's about as much as you're going to get out of her as it sounds like a pretty quick little exchange. But at least now you know that Marcella was hit by a little guy and now has a wound that won't go away because it was made by a Devil Fruit. At the same time the little shit must also have a pretty bad fishing-hook related injury as well."Stitches. Are you sure she'll be okay?"She nods."P-Positive. The would wasn't too deep. S-She should be fine now.""Good! MURRAY!"Your first mate rush out of the building looking sweaty as hell."Marcella was hit! Take her to the Dauntless and watch over her!""Of course Silver!"But as Murray grabs the small girl and starts carrying her Marcella grabs you by the arm and tries to talk to you with the last shreds of her lucidity."Silver... the guy... the guy said something about Davy Jones' Locker. He heard we were looking for the treasure...""So it's that Davy guy huh? Okay Hook. Sleep now. I'll go kick his ass!"You pat her on the head as she closes her eyes and turn to the others with just barely constrained fury."Okay-">He doesn't want us to find the treasure? Then let's search for it and make him come to us!>You guys stay here, I'll track that guy down!>SEARCH EVERYTHING! LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED! FIND THIS DEAD MAN!>Other?

>>4796750>He doesn't want us to find the treasure? Then let's search for it and make him come to us!We still have that strange lady to find as a possible lead, as it seems Murray might not have gotten anything but might be worth asking him.We could track the kid down but we don't have much to go off of besides maybe finding the site where the stabbing happened and if some of their blood might help us in some way.Now obviously making them come to us might be a trap so we best stick together but if for some reason we need be split up into groups lets make sure even if it is a tempting target they will rue the day biting onto our bait.

"Everyone. Ahem. I want you to either go back to the Dauntless and make sure nobody gets any ideas about attacking her. Or I want you to get your little butts and search every, last, House. I want NOTHING left unturned! FIND this DEAD MAN AND BRING HIM TO ME! AM I UNDERSTOOD?!"They all look at each other and eventually Ann speaks up."Then if you'll allow me I'll take William back to the ship. We'll help secure it.""I'll go back as well. My size would only hinder you."Greki nods and walks back with Spider and Bullseye."Good! Stitches, Angel, Toxin! You in?"They all nod and await further instructions."Angel! You're a hunter! Then hunt!""Understood Silver. Then if you'll allow me I'll take the lead."Since she's the expert tracker and you're more than a little pissed off right now you let her take the lead and she brings you back to the place Marcella stumbled out from. Since she left a bloody trail herself it's not hard finding where she was wounded as there is a larger pool there. You and the others start looking for anything that might lead you for the bastard but Hagetaka quickly stops you before you mess up the scene of the crime. She touches the ground, sniffs the blood hardened bloody and looks closely at the dirt. It looks like she doesn't like what she sees."I smell two different scents. Marcella drew the attackers blood. But no second trail. A pair of footprints with strange patterns around it, like an explosion. Then the same prints show up several steps away. I've seen tracks like these once before. Soru."You all exchange look of concern and anger. Your perpetrator is most likely a marine or someone who stole their technique, meaning an outlaw. But you know of a group of ex-marines that are here right now. Still you can't just assume that, not without any direct evidence. But at the very least now you have a possible suspect."We need to find the second blood trail. He couldn't have escaped without a trace."You start digging through the place and finding a whole lot of nothing. Gu has no clue what he's looking for, Angel is at a loss and your hearing is failing you. The person who did it didn't remain long enough to leave an imprint on the place. But thankfully Lyda has a trick up her sleeve. After rummaging through her bag she takes out a phial and scrapes some hardened blood into it. She mixes some sort of a chemical with it making the thing liquid again and then she activates her devil fruit. The glass disappears from her hand and breaks against the wall. Now that it's "fresh" once more the blood flows down the wall, making it very easy to spot."There. He left no trail because he went up."Hearing Lydas words Angel jumps from wall to wall, scaling the building and getting to the rooftops. A few moments later she looks down at you and starts shouting."Lyda is right! The trail is here!""Good!"You transform into your bat form and carry Toxin and Stitches up as well.
Once up there Angel takes the lead again. With the roofs seldom being cleaned the footprints of the assassin are perfectly visible for the trained eye, and hers are trained. Like a blood hound that caught a scent she's leading you from rooftop to rooftop, jumping around as if she was on her home island when stalking prey."He tried to stop the bleeding."She says as she snatches up a bloody fishing hook from the ground mid-run."And it looks like he's not afraid of pain."Following this neat little trail of breadcrumbs which lead you to a small building far and away from everything important in the city. Without bothering to get a closer look at it you burst through the window with Lyda in your arms while Angel carries Toxin in hers. The interior looks like that of a storage room, mostly stuff meant to keep stuff in and nothing which would indicate anyone lives here. Angel goes through the place and finds some used bandages and where they came from, a medic bag."He performed first aid on himself. He knew what he was doing. Likely left through the front door, blend in with the crowd."Lyda checks out the bag and see the things that the culprit used and she gets concerned."H-He removed his bandages and burned the wound without using any painkillers! B-But there was a whole bottle of anesthetics here!""Great. The guy we're searching for is a lunatic."Gu crosses his arms."Still it doesn't look like he ransacked the place. He knew what he was looking for. There is no doubt that this is where he stored his stuff. What do you say captain? Should we check it?">No need. If this was his stuff I can track him from here!>Yeah. Check what stuff's stored here!>Other?

"Yeah! Search the place! Find anything that we can use or lead us to them! Then we torch the rest!"You split up and everyone goes their separate ways. Gu goes for what appears to be stashed away rations. She finds several things that'd make sense for an army, or an active marine fighting force. Hard-tack, ready to eat meals and various preserved meats and fish. The only thing that stands out are the boxes upon boxes of milk, though they've been raided and only the glasses remain now. Angel takes a look at the weaponry which has stuff both useful in underwater expeditions like spears and spear guns but also more conventional arms like swords, guns and ammunition for them. Lyda takes stock of their medicine. Nothing unusual there, vitamins and supplements necessary for sea travel, alcohol for disinfecting, pain killers, immune boosters, etc. The one thing that's common with all of these is... that they are not things for a group of marines who made camp. These are supplies you'd need to sail the sea. They are preparing to leave.Meanwhile you go upstairs in search of more exotic stuff. You have a sneaking suspicion that they might have treasure in here, or at least hope there is. And there kinda is but not the kind you expected. Spotting a particular piece of gear makes you almost forget about your anger. A shame because this thing would normally make you whistle."Looks like our diving suits."Except they were not put together in one afternoon from barrels. These ones were manufactured by very talented people for the purpose of deep sea exploration. Although these appear to be so far unused. You suppress your urge to touch it because something else catches your attention next to the diving suit. There is a table with some well organized books lying around. You casually flip one of them open. Lo and behold it opens at a particularly juicy page with two words dominating the whole thing.Ancient. Weapon."Kek. You bastards are up for some nasty things, aren't you?"Twirling around 180 degrees you stretch your arm out and slam your arm in the shadows where you grab the neck of the little shit that's been hiding there all along."DID YOU REALLY THINK YOU COULD HIDE FROM ME?!"

The gust of wind you just made with your thrust blows off his hood, revealing the face of the guy who's been hiding from you. Or more accurately the kids face that's been hiding from you. Marcella was not exaggerating, he is a little guy. A little guy with wide eyes and a big grin, a very big and unsettling grin. Despite having your arm around his neck he doesn't seem too concerned. In fact he seems ecstatic. He giggles and raises his hand, jamming a white blade into your forearm and twisting it. You see flesh bend unnaturally. With his new grip he manages to remove your arm and moves it to a wooden beam supporting the roof. With a quick slap he manages to make your flesh bend around the wood. Now that he's free and you're stuck he ducks under and tries to go in for the kill with another white weapon that he has drawn.Scoffing you turn into a little bat and dodge out of the way of his attack and make him fall forward. Turning back in human form you throw a punch with your unbent hand but he rolls out of the way. Hearing the commotion the others start running up to you to which the little shit reacts by running for the window while laughing."I'll get you later! Have fun with the arm until then!"He tries to run away and you see dirt moving around him in a circular pattern, he's about to use Soru to get away. But not on your watch! As he tries to use the technique you use Shakushi to chase after him and manage to shoulder tackle him through the wall and onto the street. You both roll on the ground for a little before you get up and stare each other down. He realizes he can't just run away from you but doesn't really seem to mind it to be honest. In fact he seems hysterical."You caught me! You're fun! I-I'll be able to play with you for long before you go to the locker!"Standing up and dusting yourself off you take a look at your arm. It still has the white blade embedded into it and a wound similar to Marcellas can be seen around it. But at the same time your whole arm appears to be bent. You may have escaped from his little trap with a quick shift but the deformation did not go away. If you do this you'll need to do it one handed.>Doesn't matter. Now let me put you in the locker!"He reveals what's underneath his big cloak and it looks like a white marine uniform with way too many belts across his chest. He has about three dozen of those white knives and other knick knacks on his person and he seems eager to use them on you. First he takes one of the knives and a small white bead then raises the ball with one of his hands."Want to know what my power is? It's the Uzu Uzu no Mi! I am a vortex person! I can twist, turn and spin anything around! Watch how cool it is! Uzumaki shot!"He opens his palm and the bead begins spinning in it until it shoots out on his own like it was fired from a rifle. You stand still and let the thing hit you. The hit barely makes you flinch. He then slams his palm in the ground and with a quick swipe he makes the whole street twist around which unbalances you somewhat."Uzumaki dance floor!"As you stumble around a little he rushes you and hurls his knives at you. Having learned that getting close to you is a dangerous endeavor he now opts for ranged combat. The knives get embedded in your flesh but they don't disfigure you as he seems to need physical contact to do his thing. But that's all just a set-up so he can get in safely which he now thinks he can do. He slams hand into the ground and twirls it again, this time twisting the ground so much you sink down in the middle of it."Uzumaki pitfall!"Now everything below your shoulders is stuck underneath the dirt as he runs up to you with his hand raised. He extends one single finger and points it at you."And finally! Uzumaki Shigan!"He thrusts his finger downward and the spinning air covering his finger shoots out and digs through the dirt like a drill. Thankfully it doesn't look like he intended to kill you with it as the attack simply grazed your cheek. Most likely he either wanted to intimidate or wound you with the attack as evident by his big grin. Idiot. If he aimed it at your head he could've killed you since that thing did probably dig at least 20 meters down. Well, not like you would've let him do that but still. Your hand erupts from underground and grabs the boy by the throat again which honestly shocks him, then you simply step through the ground and climb out of the hole he just made."You're done."Quickly activating Silver Shift you transform into the Turelim form and shout at the small child.

>>4797259Silver "I'm sorry was I not LOUD ENOUGH FOR YOU!!"
The explosion created by your scream wasn't too big but it was plenty enough to mess up the little kids inner ear, making him nauseous and unbalanced. He looks like he's about to throw up when you revert to your regular form and start beating the living crap out of him. Chaining together left and right punches as well as kicks to the face you obliterate his face with loud, booming hits. With a big final punch you send him in the air and show him to do flying attacks by using the sound made by snapping your fingers to fire bullets at him that further damage him. Finally when you feel like he lost enough teeth you grab him by the noggin' and ram his face into the ground so hard his face leaves a perfect imprint in the street. As he bounces back and his eyes glaze over the effect of his devil fruit ends and your arm, as well as the surrounding area which was affected by him returns to normal, minus the additional damage you both inflicted on it. Tapping your arm you confirm it's as it should be and sigh with relief. That must mean Marcella is okay now.The others finally catch up to you now and look at what you did. They don't even waste a minute asking stupid questions and get straight to the point."Is he dead?""No. I'm not letting him off the hook that easily. We take him to the Dauntless, tie him to Umibozu and keep dunking him in the water until he speaks. Even if he doesn't, he won't die until he gets what he deserves for hurting one of us."You then look back at the place the others came from."Take what you want from there then burn the rest! We leave nothing for these scum!""You think there are more of them?""Yes. And we better get back to the Dauntless before they come to get this one back."
And while I think I could go on a little bit longer I think I'd better call it quits here.Because any more than this and we'd have to cut things off at an awkward point. As you may guess from that we are getting to the point where shit hits the fanAnyway I hope you enjoyed yourselves! I shall return maybe on Tuesday? But definitely on Wednesday. 'Rouge Marines' lead by a 'former Rear Admiral, that have been hanging out in town for awhile now, but from the supplies we saw are ready to leave.A bunch of extremely expensive and well made diving suits. A journal referencing an Ancient Weapon.A bunch of native islanders who are recorded in the history books but nobody alive seems to know anything about.A crazy man child with the ability to Spin Things, and a vortex in the ocean that appeared out of nowhere years ago?Its entirely hypothetical, but if it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, and looks like a duck, its probably a duck.
>>4797573What the fuck is a duck?
>>4797573But could his Devil Fruit affect the ocean?
>>4797573Rear Admiral confirmed duck zoan.
>>4797803I don't see why not. If Charlotte Oven can cause the ocean to boil then this little shit-eater could twist the ocean. The better question is "Is this guy strong enough to twist the ocean?"I say we ask him. Repeatedly. Very insistently.
>>4797849You joke, but watch there be one sooner or later. And watch it be utterly horrifying to fight. >>4797554Yeah no, the kid and cooper's gang are definitely related. I wonder if this kid's devil fruit stopped him from aging and he's as old as the rest of them, or if he's actually just horrifyingly strong this young.
>>4797889>You joke, but watch there be one sooner or later. And watch it be utterly horrifying to fight.Projectile erection javelin attacks galore. Twisty dick rocket shot. The horror.
Oh yah, once we're back on the Dauntless we should probably have William look for any approaching vessels and Jaws keeping an eye out underwater for any sneaky shits trying to approach with diving suits. Greki can be the one to dunk the anchor. We can't be certain when Cooper's gang will try to retrieve their little shitstain of a crew member, but that's no reason to not be cautious
>>4798025I think we should hurry back as well. For all we know they're already preparing an attack
>>4797851But then wouldn't the whirlpool disappear every time he sleeps?I'm not saying we shouldn't ask, I'm saying I I don't know. >>4797889Also I'm double dumb and just remembered that the kid uses Soru, a marine trick. Yea, definitely connected. >>4798056I don't know? It doesn't feel like an organized attack, why only hit one of us? Why non-lethally? If they were going to ambush us why not ambush all, or at least a good portion, of us with the intent to kill or capture? No, this reads a lot more like that emotionally unstable cretin seeing an opportunity and taking it without giving it much thought.
>>4797851I say we tell him "Hey bud, i can twist things too!"And then twist his leg like we're trying to squeeze all the water out of a dirty rag.
>>4798105Not necessarily Devil Fruit effects do tend to disappear when they creator/user is knocked unconscious but that is different then sleeping. Otherwise all the puppets on Dressrosa would turn back into humans the instant Sugar went to sleep.
>>4798105>I don't know? It doesn't feel like an organized attack, why only hit one of us? >Why non-lethally?I'm going to elaborate on that a bit later but let's just say that it's not a good idea to get close to someone who can sprout pointy objects at any part of their body. And yes, he wanted it to be lethal he just got buggered by the hooks

No idea if and how this affects Silver DESU. https://www.sciencealert.com/bats-have-a-supersense-of-time-they-know-the-speed-of-sound-from-birth
>>4800822WAT?
>>4800822That's pretty interesting. If Silver was more into navigation that would be super useful.Could be funny if someone is wondering how far they are from the next island and Silver just says a really precise time.
So I'm currently busy raiding drawers for vampire pantiesAnd tomorrow I'm going to go shopping a little now that life is restarting in this part of the worldMeaning I'll run Wednesday after all, same time as promised though>>4800822Huh.... Accurate sense of speed? Judging distance by time instead of space? That's so cool! I'll have to read up on that a bit more
>>4801009Would explain why he can use hakushi so well for sure...What if silver ends up being a speed-type, despite his insane strength? Not to mention, he could probably used ranged attacks with accuracy that'd put usopp to shame.
>>4801009tumelin would be a god-tier scout if that applied to silver
>>4801009I'm not sure how much more there is to read at the moment, I found out about a "this week in science" post at imgur, which as the name suggests is about things science discovered in the last seven days
>>4802269"This just in, Bats apparently know the exact speed of sound and we've just discovered that platapi can hear your thoughts and judge you on your kinks. They find them banal."
>>4800822I mean that's cool... But I mean its was kind of a requirement? It's neat that that we have confirmation that its something known from birth rather then learned but if you rely on echolocation then its a given that you must have some of understanding of the basic functions require for echolocation. And going into a bats thought pattern, how they think about time/distance seems to anthropomorphize them a little to much for my liking. Tho I will agree that it is a neat and could be used to influence Silvers persona and mannerisms.
>>4801009I'm conflicted, I have some more devil fruit ideas but I don't want to clutter between Spooks posts, maybe I should wait until this current arc is done once the action dies down? Also speaking of bats I attempted a rough sketch of a Ghost faced bat hybrid, not my best but wanted to do a little something inspired from all of this.
>>4802758Nice drawing, anon.
>>4802758That's awesome.
>>4802810>>4802873Thank you.
>>4802758Thank you anon! It's a very nice drawing. It did brighten my day a smidgen so I'm grateful. Already saved it in the fan-folder for future useAnd don't be afraid to post your ideas. The session is only happening tomorrow anyway
>>4802758POV: you're about to get bodied by pirate batman and his merry team of misfits
>>4802963Thanks, glad it's bringing some positive emotion, if I had more time and less work on my back I could have done a full body with colour or something, I also added the ear ring from the reference image from Silver's bounty as a nod to that. And that's great I will share the ideas later.
>>4802758He looks like he'd eat your liver, but in a polite way and he'd give you a party hat before hand. Well done.

>>4803060You say please before
>>4802758Damn, very nice! It's hard to imagine what it would look like in the first place, but this is pretty good.
>>4802963So I found a little extra time and was bitten by the art bug to do the bat devil fruit, now this is just my interpretation how I pictured it maybe looking like.I based it off a Fig but made it's colours closer to the brown to rust red of the Ghost Faced Bat.I hope you guys like it.
>>4803365Wow, that looks really cool and in line with canon fruits. Good job anon!
>>4803365Well holy shit. This I did not expect in a million years. Yeah that looks like something that would come out of One Piece. Damn...I'm impressed!Like, the whole ensemble is incredible but this is not something I ever imagined seeing
>>4803387well you are the QM of a quest that tickles the autism in a good way
>>4803372>>4803387Thanks, I love One Piece and this quest has caught my intrest and I felt like contributing a bit more in some way, I hope this helps.
>>4803365Oh that's really good. Even got the sides looking like wings.
>>4803458Yeah that's where the idea came from, having a simple design that hints at the wings.I might do the Hook and Obsidian fruits if I can find the time but I am stumped on ideas, besides the former having a hook like stem and the colours for both. Now for the fruit ideas, this time I have some more paramecia and logia ones.>Timber Timber Fruit, the user can generate a bark like skin over themselves to act as armour, they can also pull and control bark and parts of a tree to add to their armour or encase those they fight, maybe becoming a wood golem with trucks of trees for arms and weapons.>Chest Chest Fruit, the user becomes a human treasure chest, able to store items inside themselves up to a limited size and does have a max storage.Vine Vine Fruit, the user can summon and create plant vines from their hands, to use as weapons or mobility, can also have the vines grow thorns.Tentacle Tentacle Fruit (Yes I know where your mind is going stop it), the user can summon black tentacles from anywhere on their body and a limited area around them on any surface, mainly used for grabbing, squeezing, crushing, hitting but could also maybe be used to make a spinning drill attack or something.>Pick Pick Fruit (Or alternatively Key Key fruit), you are a human skeleton key able to open any door or lock with your fingers.>Steam Steam Fruit, well we have smoke and gas, and have suggested mist and ash fruit ideas so seems fitting to also mention this.>Metal Metal Fruit, worth mentioning as there are two options for this, either a solid metal like iron or titanium or the fruit makes the user liquid mercury.>Tar Tar Fruit, thought worth mentioning as well.>Salt Salt Fruit, probably a weaker version of Crocodiles fruit with larger gravel sized salt grains but might have the dehydration ability as well.>Acid Rain Fruit, right so this is the only one I am pretty sure would not be a Logia as it's more a by product of industry but wanted to include it just in case, more likely this would just fall under a regular acid fruit power. Also have some bonus free island ideas!>An island where either a big tree or a land mass of a tree looking rock is sticking out of the ocean and all the buildings hang from the underside of the branches, making verticality a primary factor here, depending on how rough the waters are around the trunk base it might not be safe to park a boat there at the bottom and have it instead lifted up by lift for those looking to stop by.>An island that is a wall of ice with sheer glacier like cliffs, only way in is through a man made tunnel that takes ships into a harbour town that makes the large cave it's home, with a ice ceiling above and new tunnels being dug to go deeper into the heart of the island a possible reason it's inhabited is the numerous ruins of a past civilisation buried in the ice walls or some resources worth digging for.
>>4803594why not have a fruit that lets you turn parts of your body into bombs according to your emotions and the more intese the emotion the bigger the effect
>>4803656That could be an idea, we already have one bomb devil fruit user but there is room for alternative methods, another could be like Gambit from X-men where objects they touch can become bombs.
>>4803594For the obsidian fruit you could just have it shaped similar to a cactus pear, with the prickles being jagged bits similar to obsidian. I assume it was probably a cactus pear since most trees in Silver Island were dead.As for the hook fruit I don't got a clue.
>>4803690Oh! That's a neat idea, that might be an option the only other one I could come up with was grapes to fit Italy and volcanic soil theme.I guess it depends how long the sherif had the fruit for and lining up with the drought.Yeah the hook one is a bit tricky, I might just go for a regular design but make it blood red with a hook like stem, but it's just figuring out a fruit that's the problem.
>>4802758That is terrifying, like something out of The Gargoyles.
>>4803060Ask Hannibal Lector.
>>4803715Why not just make the Bait fruit the baitest fruit of all, the Banana?>>4803656>>4803686Guys...Dressrosa already did that, some dude on Doffy's crew had it.
>>4803817I will admit a banana did cross my mind at one point after my original post but I like to see what options I have before I make a final pick. Also oh yeah I forgot about Gladius, I blame my tired brain.
>>4803962I can't think of many other fruits besides a banana, but maybe something that is supper prickly with hook shaped barbs? I don't know, a pineapple?Naps a good, but actual sleep is better.
>>4803972Yeah I did look up some hooked fruit but some did not grab me or looked too busy, and a pineapple is an option but I feel like we already have some devil fruits designed after that but then again it does not hurt as a possible option. And I agree sleep is good, which I am now doing.
>>4803995Goodnight then.
>>4803972you mean a durian?
>>4804018Yeah, that!
>>4804018A durian would also work really well.
>>4803594>making a wood fruit>not calling it Woody Woody no mi
With your new "prize" in your possession you head back to the Dauntless with the others. Whilst dragging the little shit that attacked your beloved crewmember by the hair you realize that should he wake up he'd be quite problematic to deal with. So preemptively you swing him around a little and smash his back into a tree just to be safe. The loud crunching noise signals you that you succeeded in securing him. After a little while you get back to your ship where the others are already waiting for you."Ah you're back. We got anxious when we saw Marcellas spiral disappear."Murray looks down at you from the deck. Right after that Lyda quickly asks for a rope and has herself pulled up so she can take a better look at Hooks injuries to make sure she's alright."Yeah. Got this gremlin over here. He's the one who done it. But I feel like he has friends coming...""Oh. Well what are you waiting for then? Come up!"You fly up to the deck and toss your package to the ground and have him tied to the main mast with a heavy chain. Meanwhile the others take a closer look at the would be assassin and find themselves at a loss for words."This is just a child.""Yeah Tiny. A kid that's surprisingly good at killing. Don't let him fool you."With a quick knee to the chin you smash the bastards head in the main mast which wakes him up."Huh what? Oh I must've dozed off! Oh HI! So where were we? HEY! What's with these chains? Come on! Take them off! How do you expect me to send you to the locker like this?"For someone who had his inner ear messed up, his body brutalized, his back smashed into a tree and his skull kicked into a wooden pole he's surprisingly lively. He either has an incredible tolerance for pain or outright enjoys it, as evident by his big grin despite having blood coming from every orifice."Is that just me or does he have a pirate uniform?""Yeap."Bullseye is right on the mark."He used Rokushiki too. Two techniques actually.""Oh you know Rokushiki? No wonder you are so tough!"Your prisoner says in his creepily cheerful tone."Now can you let me out already? I gotta kill you guys quickly and go back. Don't want the others to worry about me too much!"Murray then leans in and stares in the childs eyes and lets out a deep growl."So what should we do about him?">We can start by asking some questions from him>He's a get well gift to Marcella. She can decide what to do with him>Get some more chain. We'll keelhaul him so his friends get the message!>Other?
>>4805307>>He's a get well gift to Marcella. She can decide what to do with him

She can decide what to do with him
>>4805307>He's a get well gift to Marcella. She can decide what to do with himI was thinking that he is just super confident but the "kid" is just flat insane, torture is not going to work if he enjoys pain.

>>4805383One would also assume he is wearing a "marine" uniform rather then a "pirate" one (in which case we really need to find a tailor and get ourselves one of those. But hey, details!
You start thinking about the matter for a second until you hear the sound of chains rattling and you kick your prisoner in the face. He doesn't seem to mind and instead he looks at you funny."Hey how come I'm not out of this yet? I'm trying to twist my way out and nothing happens!""You think we'd let a devil fruit user on our ship without making sure he can't use his powers first? Those chains we tied you with? They are the chains of my anchor. Pure sea stone! You're not going anywhere.""Ah. That explains it. Can you take it off then?"You shake your head."Okay, I think we should ask what we can from this guy and then let Hook take care of him because he's driving me crazy now.""Yeah he's obnoxious. Anyway I'll ask the doc if we can bring Marcella out here. Should be okay considering."After a few moments Murray comes back with your navigator leaning on him. She seems to have received some thorough bandaging around her waist to ensure she can heal properly and it's limiting her movement but otherwise she appears to be in a good condition. Once close enough she shoves Murrays arm away, stating that she can walk on her own and she takes a closer look at your prisoner while wiping her nose with her sleeve."Yeap. This is the twerp alright. Has that dead-fucking look in his eye.""Oh it's you! Hi! Say could you die right about now? I have a pretty good record and don't want it to end up broken!""Nah. Can't do that. But I am gonna thank you in a bit. Haven't received the prison-handshake in a bit. Made me remember Gang Town a little. So Silver! Can I get to work yet or do you want something from this snotball?""I was thinking we squeeze what we can out of him. Then he's all yours.""Bitchin!"She stretches her arm out and a giant metal hook the size of a greatsword falls out of her palm, which she then uses to whack the kid to no avail."TALK!"He simply smirks at the pirate as her weapon just made a CLANG sound. You gently put your hand on her shoulder and tell her to ease off."He's tough. Don't think beating him will work.""Ah. Gotcha. Alright. Let's do this the proper way then! I'll think of something that will actually work in the meantime!"
You lean down and look the guy in the eye."What was that Tekkai or Haki?""Both! I'm strong!""No, not really."You take out Argent and make sure he gets a good look at it."Pretty sure I could get through you with a few whacks.""Oh oh! Is that a challenge? I like a challenge! But erm... I can't really do that right now. You see I should get back or the others will start worrying about me! So could you please take off the chains? I promise I'll come back to kill you later!">What others? The marines?>Why? Do they know you're here?>Are you guys looking for the ancient weapons?>Where is the treasure? >>4805438>What others? The marines?I wonder how he would react to us talking about killing those 'others'. Maybe something worth testing?
If we do go the marine route and he is with them I suggest shoving the new scar on our hand in his face and seeing how he reacts.
>>4805477Why? He has nothing to do with that, they have nothing to do with that. Its an empty gesture devoid of meaning or reason as they have no connection (as far as we know) to the world gouverment, the Boa sisters or slavery in general.
>>4805486Yeah, doing that would be pointless, as the meaning of the mark is relatively common knowledge
>>4805486>a devotee of the marines>not caring about the Dargon's Foot PrintIf he does care then we have something we can dig at him with. If he doesn't we know just how little these guys care about their former masters and both of those things can be useful.
That's a smart choice. Not the one that'd get you on his wavelength, but useful none the less>writing
>>4805501But they're not marines. If he is with Cooper's lot they're deserters. Furthermore we don't have a reason to *care* about their political beliefs: they tried to murder one of ours. That simple alone supercedes just about anything else and, as I believe Greki said: You hurt them until they can never think of trying something like that again
>>4805524Yes but are they deserters who are afraid of their former masters? Then we'll provoke a reaction we can use.Are they furious at their former masters? Then we'll provoke a reaction we can use.Do they not care at all about their masters? Well then they are either all crazy as a bag of rats or there are really close to not having a reason to care about them i.e. they are close to the ancient weapon. All these things can lead to hurting them good if you use your noodle.
That line caught not just your attention but the others too."What others? Are you with the marines?"His eyes begin shining upon hearing that, as if he's excited to tell you about it."No we aren't marines! Used to be but not anymore! Brother said it's bad for us so we thanked them and quit! We're doing our own thing now!"He seems proud of that."Bullshit! You don't just leave the marines! Hate to break it to you little shit but you went rogue! You are wanted criminals just like us!""Hook, I don't think he's listening.""Oh shut up Silver with your idiot empathy! This little shit's pissing me off and I'm going to break his world if I have to do it by cracking his friggin' SKULL!"While Marcella rages you start focusing another thing the little guy said. Something which caught your attention and someone elses. Williams. After exchanging a quick look with him you both nod. You're thinking of the same thing."Hey dummy! Is your brother that Cooper guy?"Will shouts at him."Oh you know brother? That's awkward.""What is this little shrimp talking about Silver?!""I met a marine guy in an inn when I got the barrels. He seemed like a cool guy, even sang together with him. But if this guy is his brother then that does complicate things. I don't think we can be friends after we kill his brother.""Heh. Well at least I'm glad you're not thinking of anything stupid like giving this shithead back!"You crack your knuckles and grin at Marcella in a matter of fact kind of way. He attacked one of you. The only thing up for debate about him leaving this ship is how many pieces he'll leave in."Erm... if you know brother could you let me go now? I really want to kill you guys and I can't do that if he kills you instead!"Marcella then jams her massive hook between his teeth and makes him bite down on its side."Well now that we know who these guys are we got ourselves a target. That should be enough right Silver? So what do you say? Can I get to work now?""Sure! All yours."You slap her on the shoulder and Marcella starts grinning. The little kid doesn't know what he's in for yet. As Marcella lets go of her massive hook and gets to cracking her knuckles you walk over to the edge of the ship and look in the direction of the town where Cooper and his crew are resting. It looks like you finally have the culprit responsible for the wacky things going on around here but still got a few pieces of the puzzle missing. No matter, soon enough they won't be an issue anyway. The first shots have been fired already so conflict is unavoidable. Only one thing left to decide. >Once Marcella is done we wreck the place! We should mainly focus on the marines and keep the towns people out of the way, though we should before attacking the brother just confirm what was said is true just to get out facts right. Not like we are giving the little shit and his friends an easy way out after what they pulled, no one attacks a member of silver's crew and get away with it.
>>4805624>>Once Marcella is done we wreck the place!I'd say the polite thing to do is to pay them back in the same coin, and start ambushing them. "Hey Hook! Have you figured out what you want to do?""Hold on, I'm doing work!""Hah! Silly girl! Your tiny fish hooks can't hurt me! See? Barely even feel it! No, not even when you jam it in there. I can harden my eyeballs just fine!""Aye. You're hard as a nail you little shit. Too bad you're not as strong as iron! Now open up!"Having her fingers turned into hooks she stuck them between the boys eyelids and pried them open. Yeah, she can't hurt him but she can move him. Once pried wide open she pulled her fingers free but left the hooks behind to keep her eye open. Then with her massive hook sword around the boys neck she pulled, straightening the kids back and making him stare directly up. At the sun."Lyda dear! Could you sew his mouth shut? I think he's going to start screaming in one... no, two minutes!"Sure enough, just like Marcella predicted the boy first teared up, then his eyes started moving around violently and he began really struggling against his bindings as the rays of the high noon started doing their work. And as his concentration was broken so were his defenses, which Marcella jumped on to brutalize the rest of his body too. After kicking the living crap out of him for about ten minutes Marcella finally swept her hair back with a sigh and looked at you."Okay I'm done. Got it out of my system.""Cool. I'll carry him. All of you! Get ready! I want to deliver this straight to them!"The crew knows what that means and they gear up for the coming fight. With the boy dragged behind you through the dirt and the rocks you stroll into town clearly looking for trouble. Gone are the whimsical pirates here to have fun and have a good time. Now it's Silver Pirates time. And the townies know it. It feels good when you mean business, look the part and you see streets empty before you with people hushing each other, running out of your way and barricading their homes in fear. Once reaching the middle of the town square you open your mouth wide and begin shouting."COOPER! I GOT SOMETHING FOR YOU!"Using Argent you slice up the thread binding the boys mouth and throw him against a wall. After the thud the only sound that can be heard is his soft whimpering and him crying through those burned out eyes of his.

It's Cooper. He tries his best to appear calm and dejected but he's clearly furious. Just the way how he's trying his absolute best to not look directly at the little one is a dead giveaway."You lost something. I brought it back. Sorry. I dropped it a few times.""Stannic...""B-Brother? Cooper are you here? I can't see! Sniff. I can't see you brother!"Coopers voice shudders as he exhales."You know. I was contemplating letting you guys go. I... I thought maybe some pirates can be normal people. But after what you did to my little brother? I'll make you hurt!""If you don't like the makeover you shouldn't have attacked one of my men!""I. Didn't. Do. Anything. Stannic he, he's not normal. None of us are. And it's all because of you!"You make a disgusted face because that's some big bullshit you're hearing."It's you pirates that did this to us! Again and again we were thrown at animals like you with little regard to our own safety! My brother, my men and me... we couldn't take it anymore. We broke. But they wouldn't let us rest. So we left. And now my little brother can't go more than a few days without killing. So I let him kill pirates as he pleases. That at least means civvies are safe.""Listen! I don't remember asking! So call your useless boys out so we can beat them up too you big nonce!""Tch... As you wish."Cooper snaps his finger and out of every street, every corner and every other possible location marines start popping out. Well, ex-marines. But they are still marines. Which you can take."Get them!"The marines then rush you, each one of them wielding pure white weapons just like that Stannic kid.>Time to brawl!>Go for that Cooper guy straight away>Other?
>>4805801Did this nigga just pull the "we live in a society" card?Really?
>>4805801>Go for that Cooper guy straight awayMan if his brother wasn't a little shit we could've avoided this.People really got to stop grouping pirates up since a lot are pretty chill as long as you don't mess with them.
>>4805801>Go for that Cooper guy straight awayTime to let the rest of the crew have some fun while we take care of the brother.DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY VICE ADMIRALS I"VE PUNCHED IN THE DICK, THERE'S PLENTY OF ROOM FOR A REAR ADMIRAL TO BE ADDED TO THE LIST!!
>>4805801>Other?time for a laughing bomb, get the others out
>>4805801>Go for that Cooper guy straight awayJesus christ, this guy... and I thought he could be a weird friend
>>4805815also call him out on not getting his brother mental help while dropping a few hints about home "sweet" home
>>4805810>Go for that Cooper guy straight away>>4805812It's kind of cooper fault for not keeping the guy in the leash if he already knew that stannic is insane.
>>4805801"It's not my fault my psychotic shellshocked little brother decided to provoke a pirate crew that's getting known for leaving bodies behind if you mess with them"Listen, mate, all I'm saying is that there were a lot of ways you could have avoided this... Simplest of all simply giving us the warning and talking with us. Like an adult, not like a child who blames everyone but himself for his own actions. I genuinely believe this could have been the start of something, he seems just as lost and messed up and we are.>Go for that Cooper guy straight awaySomething something honourable weeb generals duel
>>4805827Oh Cooper is just as to blame. He knew his brother was unstable, and here he is pulling the pirates ruin everything card.>>4805828Yea he says he was going to let us go possibly but his brother was already attacking us, so I guess he was just going to say sorry about one of your guys dying, but your free to go now and expect nothing to happen?
>>4805801>>Go for that Cooper guy straight away
>>4805812No, we're right up there. Sure we don't go around raping and murder all the time, but we did kill tens of thousands and depopulated an island because funny and spite. Just look at how basically anyone who isn't part of the crew looks at us and its basically a mix of fear, confusion and just a pinch of dread
>>4805836Yea I don't really got much to say about the buster call to be honest. Nothing we've done before or since has really been that bad though, but yea it was pretty bad. Even if everyone there was mostly government bootlickers who were corrupt, or okay with the corrupt shit.
>>4805801>>Go for that Cooper guy straight awayYou don't let your rabid dog off it's leash then get mad when someone puts it down for biting them. You're broke old man and Silver isn't gonna put you back together nicely.>>4805839There's also that island that he burned to the ground, they deserved it too though. Most of them did, at least.
>>4805839"Oh cmon judge, it was only *one* little mass murder... And I haven't done anything particularly evil since then!" "Do I regret it? No, fuck 'em."We did also technically murder everyone in the town we grew up in, which doesn't sound good on paper. And the attempted Pidgeonicide, and the tax-thefts (probably worse then the killings to be honest), hospitalizing multiple ranking officers of the law, accidentally smashing a revolt... But yea, other then that we're saints.
>>4805836>>4805839I kind of disagree about silver calling the buster call being that bad. is not a weapon or a bomb it is just Marines. in the end Marines decided to kill other Marines. Anyway a friendship between a honest marine and a pirate should be impossible, because every no jobber pirate is going to end up killing a lot of Marines.
Muh honorobru duel tiem>writing>>4805867Kinda true. The closest we get are Smoker and Luffy or Garp and RogerAnd even these guys are like hostile towards each otherI don't think Smo-yan would have any issues with taking Luffy to the gallows, maybe a little regret but he'd do it. And that's mister "Never Killed a Single Person" D. Luffy
>>4805879>"Never Killed a Single Person" D. LuffyI would say that the Impel down breakout is far worse than random murders
>>4805886Oh yeah I always forget that he's responsible for letting out all of the worst murderers and rapists of the worldAnd probably every dead soul that Big Memes hunger pang for cake cost
>>4805891not to mention that giant-headed FREAKSHOW
>>4805801>if you really cared about him, you should have kept him on his leash until we left.>i don't hate you just because you're a marine, you know. we could have sung, danced and made merry in peace for a few days, but not now.>any pity i might have had for you disappeared when that boy stabbed marcella.

>>4805915uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh PHRASING, anon, PHRASING
As the first wave of marines are about to collide with your group you let out a smirk. And then they are blown back by the combined first strike of your guys. Greki with his great hammer, Murray with his fishman karate, Marcella with her bat, Gu with his fist, Hagetaka with her spear and Will riding on Anns back with his massive crossbow attacked and cleared the former marines in front of you. With a path cleared in the front you start running towards Cooper who doesn't remove his hands from his pockets. Drawing Argent you swing down on him to which he responds by taking one hand out of his pocket and somehow he has a white sword in his hand, even though his jacket shouldn't be able to hide something that big. He stops your weapon with a calm expression on his face."Hey dumbass! This didn't need to happen! But you decided to not hold your shitty brother back!"Cooper doesn't even react to that, instead he takes another glance at his little brother who is still crying his name and he frowns at you, whacking your sword out of the way and punching you. You get sent back and touch your chest in annoyance."Aw come on really? All that talk and this is all you could do with a punch? You guys are whimps!""I'm sorry little brother. I promise. I'll kill these pirates for you. Then we can find the ancient weapon and make sure no pirates will exist ever again. I promise!"He sniffs a little and then goes full serious mode, looking at you and raising his palm."What? Are you gonna give me a time limit? Are you saying you'll beat me up in five minutes? Well. That's not really my thing... but I accept the challenge! I'll beat the shit out of you in FOUR then!"You start rushing Cooper but find that something is amiss."Huh? Why can't I move my anything?"
And that's where I'll have to end things as I got work tomorrow. But on Friday we'll proceed with the ass-kicking Cooper ordered for himself! Have a good time until then!
>>4805939Np thanks for the session.I have a theory I know what fruit Copper might have given the hints here and earlier.
>>4805861>>4805862Oh yea, I typically don't include the island he grew up on since they were all scum even by the world governments standards, which is a pretty high bar to hit. As for that other stuff, I wouldn't really call it that bad. Stealing the taxes, that mostly only hurts the government and the world nobles, the marines know what they're signing up for, and most of them are still alive. The revolt thing is a matter of perspective to be fair.
>>4805944Is it the "get your eardrums blown out" fruit?
>>4805939Thanks for the run>>4805944What is the theory, anon ?
>>4805944Please tell us
>>4805996>Wooldoor SockbatNow that's a name I haven't heard in a long while
>>4805939>runs for give hours>Sorry I have to call it earlyLove ya Spooks and thanks for running!>>4805944Tell us, tell us now.
>>4805962>>4805967>>4805996I think it's a bone fruit, between the white sword he just pulled out and earlier on in the store house it being mentioned of the milk boxes being raided with just the glasses that remain that might indicate some kind of relationship with his power, or all those rouge marines subscribe to drinking milk to fix your bones school of thought.
>>4806005Oh yea that makes sense. Decent bit you can do with that to. Could probably make bone armor or shoot out shards of them like projectiles.
>>4806005so you're saying that silver is about to enter the BONE ZONE?
>>4806029Maybe, I might be wrong but thats where so far the hints and clues point to.Heck given what the last line implies it seems Silver is paralysed either from that hit or some kind of Devil Fruit power, maybe physical contact lets Cooper have limited control of other peoples bones or just shuts a body down for a limited time.
Man, these marines are psychotic. >Bro your brother is a murderer>Pirates made him evil!>I mean not even like "I stab you" murder but "oh boy here I go killing again hoho!" murder, he's a nut>If I kill all pirates there won't be any more sadness!>Seriously he's like two minutes away from butchering an orphanage.>PIRATES!We're doing the world a favor by shishkebabing these guys.
>>4805935if he is controlling our bones that means we need to dissolve our bones and replace them with muscles perhaps even weaving and mating our hair into a helmet
>>4806073Well, Anon, do you know what's really easy? "It's not my fault", remarkably easy. You know what's really, *really* difficult? Admitting that you are responsible for your own actions and that your choices have led your men to this point and caused your brother to become a stabhappy little murderfuck. So they blame the Pirates, blame their commanders in the Marines. Lash out, take revenge! Do something! Because not doing that would mean you slow down, look in the mirror and and that annoying, nagging, little pocket of guilt in the back your head forces its way to the fore. Better just to keep going, focus on the goal and try to forget ignore everything else and pray to god you never reach that goal, because then they'll have nothing. So yea, Pirates did it!Because if the pirates didn't, who did?...Why am I psychoanalyzing a random character in a collaborative storytelling game on a tiny corner of the internet? (Because its written well enough to be worth it)>>4806005Yepp. That seems... Really reasonable actually. Good thinking Anon!
>>4806073The whole, "I'm not responsible for everything, the world would be great without pirates," view seems to be a popular one with the marines. I wonder if they get that drilled into them during training or if it's just after fighting so many pirates?
>>4808557Most likely drilled in the head. The navy actively encourages the marines to follow Absolute Justice, which would instill a very bad mindset into them."I am right. Pirates are wrong. And we must do everything possible to get rid of those who are wrong"
I really hate showing in progress drawings but I am really stuck which one to pick for the hook fruit.I've narrowed it down between the Banana and Rambutan as the Durian I just felt did not work and was too busy, but I am showing it regardless to share.I am trying to make the banana one a bit different with it's curve more crescent shaped and it's swirls a bit more bulging out, while the Rambutan hooks being thicker to allow room for the swirls and not cluttering up the base too much.
>>4809112I like the Rambutan, as to me it looks more unique than the banana.

>>4809112damn, anon, that's impressive
>>4809304>>4809311>>4809481>>4809505Thanks everyone for the feedback, also I might as well do the other two devil fruits on Silver's crew as well as it stands, not sure what to do for the jumping spider but I might reuse the banana in some way, I do have a idea though for the swap fruit.
Damn. Can't believe One Piece is dead*smacks lips*What a rotten way to die>>4809112Had to look up rambutan for a sec but yeah. I agree with the other anonsDurian is a bit busy and banana is plain. That's just right
>>4809879I agree with the choice of fruit as well.Would a banana instead be ok with some tweaks for the spider fruit or got any suggestions?

You struggle and try to force yourself to move as much as you can but it's all in vain. Something is preventing you from budging even an inch and it feels like someone dipped you in glue and left you to dry in the open air. And now even your jaw feels like it stiffened so you can't even talk anymore. The only things that's not stuck in place are your eyeballs and tongue but that's precious little."It's incredible isn't it? My powers may not be a sight to behold but you can't deny their effectiveness.""HMMMMMMMMMMMM!""Stop. It's pointless to resist. Once affected by my ability there is no escape. And once my comrades as much as scratch your underlings they'll be affected all the same."Though you can't turn to look you can hear the events happening with great clarity. One by one your friends get damaged slightly and they find their movements growing sluggish and crawling to a halt. Their silent screams fill Coopers heart with great satisfaction.Until an explosion goes off in the background and Coopers marines start backing off."W-Why do they have a freakin' giant?!""FOOLS! Don't retreat! It doesn't matter if it's a giant, a merman or a mink! All we have to do is cut him once! CHAAAAAR-"And then the brave ones got their face flattened by Grekis hammer."Do not underestimate the tenacity of a blacksmith whelps! I withstood the heat of the forge and the bite of my own weapons for two hundred years! I can't even feel your toothpicks!""G-Good mister giant! P-Protect the others! I'll help Silver!""Go deathly lass! Do not let fear slow you down! Show these gnats the fire that burns in your soul!"Lyda, who was assumed to be a non-combatant and thus left alone is still capable of movement and used her devil fruit to swap herself with a silver nugget she tossed your way. Once near she used a pair of tweezers and with one swift motion pulled something out of your chest."T-There!"
You can breathe easy once more and feel your body moving as you tell it to."Thanks Stitches! What did you do?""I-I figured out what was so odd about their weapons. When I removed the dagger from Marcella I thought its composition was odd. I-It's bone! H-He has the Hone Hone no Mi."Cooper seems amused by this."Correct. I implanted a bone fragment in you with that punch. While I can't control all bones freely, once mine makes contact with yours I can. You knowing this won't change a thing. The tiniest fragment is enough. And now I just have to fill you with so many that you could never remove all of them!"He raises his palm and hundreds of small bone fragments shoot out of it like from a blunderbuss. You pull Lyda aside and guard her with your own body, taking the shrapnel in. Just like Lyda guessed once the bone chips penetrated your skin your movement started to slow down again."That's right. Feel each bone in your body fusing together!""Stitches-""Y-Yes Silver?">I need you to help me kick this guys ass!>Go back and help the others. I'll handle this!>Other?
>>4810081>>Go back and help the others. I'll handle this!time to laughing bomb his ass: stay out of range and make his ears BLEED

>>4810081>Go back and help the others. I'll handle this!Ah I knew it! And Tiny and Stitches getting time to shine! Also while it is risky we can't afford to have our crew mates helpless and ourselves outnumbered so we should be careful and by time for them to get free.
>>4810081>Go back and help the others. I'll handle this!
>>4810081>>Go back and help the others. I'll handle this!I don't think we do, but I do think Silver would think of the others safety before his own

"Stitches-"You speak quickly before your bones fuse and render you incapable of talking. But you are still cut off by your medic."B-But Silver the bones-"She quickly uses her tools to extract one of the fragments from you real quick but as she tries to drop it to the ground Cooper looks at it funny and the fragment expands and cuts Lydas palm. She drops the shard with a yelp then quickly stitches up and applies a healing balm to her hand. But covering it up doesn't change the fact that it's there."Go back and help the others! This one is mine!""B-But-""Don't get between me and my fight!"She shakes for a bit but eventually she manages to collect herself and she takes off with a nod which Cooper finds funny."You're sending the only hope you have of fighting me away? That's rich. With a medic you might've stood a chance!"But you don't very much care about what he has to say."I'm going to break your face for making Lyda hurt..."With that your jaw bones fuse and you can no longer open them. The ex-marine then walks up to you and he casually lifts his white sword and points it at your chest."Don't worry. My sword Snow always grants a swift death. Out of courtesy I'll give your comrades the same."CRACK"Wha-"Suddenly you move with the speed of a spring that's been squished together and let loose suddenly. Your knuckles dig in Coopers face and send him flying backwards. He goes through and halves a palm tree before hitting the wall of a house and coming to a dead stop. He clears the dust around him with a swipe of his hand and he stares at you. He sees you moving about and testing the limits of your movement. He then points his palm at you when you start moving towards him which makes you freeze once more. But this time since you are in motion the bones have a harder time coming together and with a loud crackling sound accompanying it you punch him again, sending him through the building and making him come out at the other end. Now however his face felt more like a solid brick when you punched him and he gets back up far quicker."Impossible!""I told you. So you better stop fixing your face or we'll be doing this for a while!"You look through the hole that you made and at the marine. He seems hardy, hardier than his little brother as his bone fruit offers him a lot of defense. But it's not impossible to overcome. Especially if you decide to use more destructive means.>Screw the town! This guy is going down!>The townies did nothing to you. You'll hold back a bit>Other?

>>4810205>>Screw the town! This guy is going down! Silver has destroyed towns for less
>>4810205>Screw the town! This guy is going down!Ah yes, what's the most Silver way of dealing with your bones being fused solid to prevent movement?Break them, after all its just pain.
>>4810211>Silver has destroyed towns for lessI don't remember this
>>4810205>The townies did nothing to you. You'll hold back a bit
>>4810217I'd say on Banderas we kind of wrecked part of the town, and on the Lobby we definitely destroyed a town for practically no good reason.Honestly tho, I just don't think we stand much of a chance if we don't hold back and if we do we'l be screwed well and good.
>>4810222We saved bandera and damage was not that big, and ennies lobby is not exactly a town, and there is no civilians there.
>>4810227>No civilians on Enies LobbyThen who served the garrison and agents stationed there? Shops, restaurants, tailors, etc. You don't get thousands of anything stationed anywhere without a civilian economy springing up to take advantage of their pay. Not to mention the possibility of families.
>>4810205>>The townies did nothing to you. You'll hold back a bitAre we fast enough to grab him and fly to a more remote location?
>>4810205>>Screw the town! This guy is going down!Unfortunate but it has to happen. The townies will have to step up themselves if they want it to stop.
>>4810232Technically it's the judicial island, the purpose of which is to process criminals before they get sent to Impel Down and nothing else. So there are no shops per se. And from G8 we know that like... the cooks, the orderlies and other miscellaneous workers are still Marine personell. But yeah if you count "non-combatants" as civillians then yeah. But then you attacked plenty of them during raids, directly or indirectly
>>4810232 the people that silver fought are marines or government agent. The large part of damage against people that are not in combat was made by the buster call, in other words marines killing other marines.
>>4810205>>The townies did nothing to you. You'll hold back a bitit's all fun and games until the civvies die, we don't need to hurt them, we just need to punch/kick/yell him into the sea or an unhabited part of the island

You don't think that you can go all out in here without wrecking the whole place and you kinda don't want to do that. So you decide to go halfway and draw your weapons to challenge Cooper in a proper scrap. Though your body is wracked with pain from your bones constantly trying to combine as long as you keep moving about you should be okay. And besides, in a fight only two things matter. Did you win and did you survive in the end? If both are true, everything else can be ignored. You rush through the building and swing Argent around attempting to clash with Coopers sword but you find a wall of white instead. The marine turned his weapon into a massive towershield in a second with a thickness that managed to put a stop even to your advance. He takes a peek over his protection and smirks at you. He's looking down at you for assuming his weapon can't change its shape. And to be truthful, you really didn't. Even now when the wall sprouted about two dozen spikes you were caught off guard and pierced by several of them."I consumed so much calcium that my bones have become hard as iron! You're not breaking through them!"With blood gushing from your chest you grab the top of the shield and pull it closer to you, jamming the spikes further in which surprises the marine instead."Then... I'll be taking your calcium!"Once close enough you bite down on the white shield and activate your devil fruit powers to transform into a hybrid. With your increased jaw strength you break off a good chunk of the shield and begin chewing on it. After crunching it up enough you swallow the whole mass down to which your foe reacts by pointing his hand at you. Your tummy feels funny as its contents expand but ultimately you use your tried and true technique of punching your gut, which helps break up the newly formed bones and makes them easier to digest."Thanks for the second course!"
>>4810277This is different. They hit one of our own hard, we hit one of theirs' harder and now death is the only finish line. This isn't just a fight it's a feud. And survey says? It's time for blood.
>>4810296This kind of happened with Jimbei too, and he made silverr his bitch anyway. I don't even understand the coward part.
>>4810296>CaimI don't think I've seen anyone in fiction with a bigger or more fulfilled murder fetish. Even doomguy was more professional than outright bloodthirsty.
>>4810294>Did you win and did you survive in the end? If both are true, everything else can be ignored. This! This is one reason why Silver is so god damn terrifying, the other one is quote from San Faldo when we, broken, battered and smiling told Sabo "You thought that was a fight? Just wait until its to the death"
>>4810301The difference with Jimbei is that was Jaws' fight, on his honour. Not the same. But how do you not see how much of a huge coward Cooper is? He ran away from his problems, the marines, the corruption, he has run away from everything he has every right to hate and turned it into a woe is me sob story to explain the fraternal problems he is also running from. Huge coward with big power and no spine (ironically).>>4810327And it was almost 100% justified.
>>4810327Who or what is that? I've seen it posted and I got no idea what that's from. But I'm not sure I like it
>>4810339Just a dude with a dragon waifu
>>4810337Wait i was thinking you are calling silver a coward
>>4810339Caim from Drakengard. His main forms of communication are stabbing you in the face, stabbing you in the throat, decapitation, mutilation, caving your head in with a blunt object, and/or beating you to death with his bare hands. His waifu is a literal dragon because no mortal woman has a pussy big enough to fit his dick after a slaughter, of which she also enjoys if not as much.Used to be a sweet kid before his parents died. Also his sister wanted to fuck him but wasn't about that incest shit so she caused the end of the world out of sexual frustration. This in turn caused the timeline of Nier to exist. And no it does not make anymore sense with context.
>>4810355>DrakengardAh now I know. Thanks!
>>4810355Wait, so due to his sister not being able to get her brothers dick the world ended, creating the Nier series? Like Nier Replicant and Nier Automata? What the fuck?
>>4810359>What the fuck?Yoko Taro is clinically insane. And we love him for it
>>4810355To be fair he gave up the power of speech to have that waifu. Also an item description of his sword indicates he wasn't very much a sweet kid but nigh on a school shooter barely held back by the fact he had actual enemies he was allowed to fight and kill. But yes everything else there is accurate.
"What kind of body is that?!"With Cooper shocked you pull yourself off the spikes and kick him back with his shield. Though that little trick of his did just put several holes through your body and now you're bleeding a lot he doesn't necessarily need to know that it's actually a problem for you. Transforming back you use the still lingering confusion to cut down on his shield with Argent and this time you actually make some progress, mainly because you now know exactly how tough it is. And because now Argent wants a piece of him too.Sadly the shield morphs once you cut it and changes into something more suited to fight something with a big body like that, a giant hammer. You get hit in the chest and sent flying which hurt quite a bit. But as you're still mid air the big swing kinda left him open for an attack so you fire off a shot with Parley and the bullet travels so fast it hits him square in the chest. But a weird thing happens where his chest doesn't explode. Instead he looks just like he was hit in the chest quite hard. He does start coughing up blood but it looks like he managed to take the shot with only minimal damage. He most likely turned his rib cage into a plate to stop the bullet. Which gives you an idea. Faintly you begin recalling the lessons Lyda's been trying to teach you about the human body. Most of it you remember but didn't pay attention to it but now you're forced to think about it. What if you hit him where he can't reinforce himself like that?Smiling you bite down on your sword."Silver Style! Shivering Silver!"While whistling you drag the blade against your teeth, making it vibrate. Jumping back in you raise Argent over your head and prepare to bring it down on Cooper, who naturally tries to guard against it. He forms a shield and raises it to match you but in response you let go of Argent and drop down where you kick him in the knee. He shudders from the impact because, as you predicted he can't really cover his joints in armor without hindering his movement. As his leg buckles under him you snatch the falling sword from the air and slice downward with it, cutting him in the shoulder but stopping at the collar bone. He growls at you and his body explodes in many bony protrusions to make you get away from him, which you manage by turning into a little bat and flying away. You start panting a little because this guy is both putting holes in your body and making you use your brain which is very tiring. But at the very least you are making some progress. But this guy is a tough cookie. You'd need something... heavier to break him.>Well words can hit hard. >>4810499Pretty good, king.Feeling kind of hungry, actually.
Cooper begins to laugh at you as he's touching his wounded shoulder which is spewing blood currently."Hah. Hahaha! This is nostalgic! This thrill. But it'll end all just the same. You may push me around little pirate. But in the end I'll simply endure and find the strength to overcome you. It's simply how that works! If I'm not strong enough I'll just awaken something like always! You can't win! And once you're done I'm taking my little brother and we'll pretend like this never happened! And we'll wipe you all out! Hah! Hahahaa!"So now the mask is finally cracking and he's finally baring his fangs. But you don't really care because he's a massive weenie and has a tiny penis. So the only thing you have to say to that is this."Your brother was a bitch and so are you!"This makes him snap and he reforms his blade and with a single cleaving motion he sends a flying sword attack toward you. To which you simply respond with a few more words."Silver Shift. Turelim!"You rapidly change and open your mouth wide, letting out a blood curdling scream directed toward the sword attack. The sound waves that you managed to project make the attack shimmer and the slicing wind breaks apart. Cooper just stares at your new form and he can't make heads or tails of it since he saw all three of your zoan forms already. You take that moment of hesitation to close your eyes and focus on him specifically. You listen to his body and how his bones creak against each other. After sheathing your weapons in a cocky manner you get to work."Shakushi!"Just like with his little brother you start snapping your fingers and use the created soundwaves to hit him outside your normal range. You land sever of the attacks in his gut which he naturally covered with a boney plate but the shock of the attack still manages to make him stagger. Changing your attack you then go for his joints, his wrist, his shoulders, his elbows, his knees, his ankles and his waist. He gets peppered by your snapping attacks from all angles and he's quickly breaking down even though he keeps rebuilding his skeleton. And as he gets busy maintaining his defense you really get to work.Drawing Parley you take aim right at center mass, now that you trained him to pay attention to his joints. Whispering the name of the attack you infuse the barrel of the jezail with your sound."Silver Style: Silent Bore!"

The name you picked amuses you because the moment you pull the trigger almost every window in a pretty large radius instantly shatters from the explosive sound that was released. And where once Cooper managed to tank one of those same bullets he now stands with a perfect circle in his gut where the smooth bullet punched through bone, meat and everything else behind him with the same ease. He looks down and starts clutching the hole like a pearl as he stumbles backwards. A few things immediately become very confusing for him."W-Why is there blood? Why don't I feel anything? And what is that noise?"He's awkwardly looking around to find the source of the sharp, whistling noise in his ears but he finds nothing. So he concludes that the only possible source of it must be you. As he turns to look you take a step towards him."You know. This would've been the end. But then you hurt Lyda. And when someone as much as scratches my friends, I don't stop! So-"Cupping your hands together you start screaming into them at full volume. A rather large bubble is formed which you keep shuffling around until you manage to press it all into a small ball that can fit in the palm of your hand."-here's some more! Silver Style: Laughing Bomb!"You hurl the thing forward and watch as it flies very fast towards Cooper. It looks like he manages to regain some semblance of consciousness, or his Haki alarmed him of the coming danger. But his movements are still groggy and not optimal so the shield he raises is flimsy at best. But then again, even if it was at full strength it probably wouldn't save him. The bomb detonates right in front of him and blows him back. Several chunks of his own shield get propelled straight into him at alarming speeds. Then as he hits the ground with a loud thud every bone construct he made breaks apart in that instant. With heavy steps you walk over to the now sprawled out marine as he's bleeding out quite fast. With a little work he might survive. He may never fully recover but he'd survive.>Kill him>Spare him>Other?

>>4810603>>4810620I agree with other anons we already have too many ability users someone will drown.>>4810626>too fucking edge to a one piece questCaeser was doing worse on Punk Hazard
>>4810620>>4810622>>4810624I agree if we did get his fruit I would rather hold onto it or sell it then give it to any of our remaining current crew, especially Tiny who has a hard time fitting on the boat as is and is better to be able to swim incase of emergencies or just when he gets of the boat in the shore line.
>>4810632If we could I'd definitely say just swap it into a fruit but I don't think she can really do that, since there's no properties in a fruit worth as much as the ability. And if she could be doing that this whole time we'd have so many fruits to sell money would never be an issue.
>>4810635I'm thinking we're just going to have to leave the fruit behind, not really a way to save it for later so to speak.
So erm... I think it's time to writeAnd people seem to be in favor of sparing him and handing him over to Lyda so>writingBut I still got some of the posts to read
>>4810635She did with Luke, you just need the user permission.
>>4810644I believe we just swapped that straight to Hagetaka. I don't think there was ever a fruit we swapped it to that she ate.In return he got her ability to swim.
>>4810635>>4810632I'd much rather treat the Grassu-grassu fruit incident like a star trek episode: It was a a cool thing that happened once and we'l never talk about it again. Simply because I am a little worried that every encounter will get bogged down with a discussion of "Do we want to swap this fruit? Can we take it, it would be nice". I'd rather enjoy the quest then try to powergame it by treating every opponent like a potential powerup.Lyda has a cool power, lets not overuse it or get bogged down in minutia in order "win"
>>4810644It's straight into a person. Fruit is not possible because a fruit has nothing of equal value to a devil fruit inside it
>>4810643Well I don't mind handing him to Lyda but like other anons I'm not in favour of him just being kept around to be tortured and experimented on for god knows how long, maybe better like with Marcella have her get her payback or let her decide his fate.
>>4810645Yeah thinking better this a good point
>>4810646Oh no I agree I would rather not be hoarding and stealing other peoples fruits just to power up our crew.Plus just abusing and breaking Lyda's power every chance we get, we did it once and thats enough.I was only agreeing if we did some how get his devil fruit in fruit form or any others in the future to rather keep or sell them then stealing the powers.
>>4810643I'm not a huge fan of this, seems real easy for something to go wrong even with Dauntless literally being able to watch him 24/7.That and the whole harvesting his bones thing seems to be a bit much even for Silver.>>4810646>>4810661For the most part I agree, we shouldn't go swapping fruits left and right, but if there's something we really like or something that would be really helpful to a character I don't see anything wrong with doing it once every now and then.
>>4810664Well you need to remember he needs calcium, to fuel his power. He's currently juiced but he likely burned through those barrels he drank fighting us.I don't like the idea of taking his fruit for ourseloves personally. Greki is too big a liability, Gu is actually responsible(kinda) and needs to be able to swaim and handing him power would retard Will's growth. A little mad science is good for the soul now tan then, though.
>>4810664I am fairly sure the idea of the vote is just to Lyda decide if cooper dies or not. And not keeping the guy slaved while we organ harvest him.
>>4810653Honestly, one thing people might forget with the whole "give him to Lyda" is that she might take it as a test. "Captain dragged one guy to the ship, beaten half to a pulp and then Marcella blinded and ripped him apart. Now captain gives the next one to me. Does he expect me to do the same? Will he be angry with me if I don't?" etc
>>4810670Well if that's the case I'm fine with it. >>4810669If he need calcium to use his ability, then we're going to have to supply him some so Lyda can take the bone. Just seems like something could easily go wrong, and I'm not to sure how keen everyone would be to even have this guy just stowed on the ship for bone harvesting. That and Lyda has been doing fine without having a personal bone factory, so do we really even need him? Or a user of the fruit?
>>4810670Honestly yeah. While I might invent wild reasons as to what Lyda might do with him Silver is more likely to just give him to her and let her decide. But she does seem the type to harvest at least a little.>>4810678Doing just fine isn't doing your best though. She can always go further if she just has the resources.>>4810677I mean, ok you may have a point. How her social awkward brain reacts to this I don't know.
Lyda does want to do more experiments on DF users. But I'd rather kill him and avoid any potential headaches. And because fuck him.
Grabbing him by the leg you start dragging the battered and beaten body of Cooper along the ground. He doesn't seem to know what's going on around him or if he's even alive or dead now as he's muttering random stuff, mostly pertaining to his brother. But he does occasionally ask you a question you're not obligated to answer. Instead you drag him back where Greki and Lyda finished off the rest of his forces once their weapons turned to nothing and now your good doctor is addressing the medical issues of your other companions. They all look up from rubbing their aching wounds and start wondering what happened."I won. This lost."You toss him forward."I'm gonna get his brother later.""Well, that's a rotten way to bite the dust. Serves him right I say!"Marcella remarks as she spits on him."I-Is he alive?""Yes Stitches. Now he's yours.""M-Mine?""He hurt you. Marcella got the kid that hurt him. It's only fair this way.""B-But-""Do what you want. I'm gonna sit down."You say that but as you walk a few steps away you fall face first in the dirt and take a little nap.But as you're resting Lyda is left there shaking, unsure what to do about the person lying in front of her. The others try to reassure her that they'll gladly take over for her but once she realizes what she has to do she shakes her head and refuses their offer."I-I'm sorry. But Silver said I have to do this."Lyda walks over to Cooper and she raises her little satchel to retrieve an item from it. As she's rummaging she kneels down next to the wounded marine and begins speaking."I-I keep telling him to watch out. To not hurt himself. But every time he comes back broken and hurting."Finding her needle she raises it with her shaking little hands."And I always have to wrestle with him so I can fix him up. I always have to force feed him medicine. It's because of people like you! I have to keep putting him back together because of people like YOU!"And with one swift motion she jammed the needle between Coopers ribs, puncturing his heart and making it stop with one swift motion. As the final vestiges of life leave his body Lyda collapses on his chest and begins sobbing. Marcella walks up to her and puts a hand on her shoulder."Hey Lyda. Looks like one of the big girls now. How does it feel?"The doctor stops shaking and raises her head."Good!"
I think I'll leave things as they are for now. I'm feeling a little tired right now. However I have some plans for tomorrow. One is an omakeThe other would be Lyda and Grekis portion of the fight since you dolts didn't choose to team up with her even though she has some moves now!So anyway. Have a good night!
>>4810747Well that solves that problem.Probably should ice the brat too then, if we don't put a leash on him, beat some kind of moral framework into his head and make him the new ship's mascot's mascot? Servant? What's a nice way to say "slave of our crabs"?In any case it's like Frieza said it's kinder to just kill them or they spend their entire lives plotting revenge and then dying messily.
>>4810747Huh damn. I didn't think she'd kill him in cold blood like that. I figured she'd used him as a bony experiment boi or just knock him out and leave him. Thats some character development in the path of insanity like everyone else on this boat.

Cause after that show I somehow doubt they'l be leaving survivors to come around for round two.

>>4810797As long as we don't pussy out it's all good. If Cooper had stayed the course and stayed with the marines, no mater how monstrous his bro became, he would have being a far better person than the pitiful dog he died as.
>>4810765>>4810780I mean I kinda feel bad, but at the same time he was already like 20 cards short of a deck with his brother alive and said brother wasn't really doing much to help the poor bastard. And even if we do decide to spare this kid, well, what kind of moral framework could we actually give him? At best our modis operandi is "Fuck with me I tear your head off" with a side of "Friendship is Magic!" If we left him alone he might stab someone's grandmother because he just got that stabbing twitch and he's too young to use his dick and visit a whore house.God I don't like the idea of killing this little shit. Beating him to near death for fucking with our people sure, but just icing him leaves a bad taste in the mouth for some weird reason.Like it's weird right? I'm fine with burning his eyes out and possibly leaving him blind for life if we don't throw him at a medic but a clean neck slice feels over the line?
>>4810804Most likely because he's pretty young, and he got dealt a pretty shitty hand with a brother who barely did anything for him.I'm just honestly not seeing what other alternative we have for him that doesn't put us in risk or makes him suffer even more.Best I can think is just keeping him in seastone so he doesn't just destroy the ship while we're sailing.
>>4810804>God I don't like the idea of killing this little shit.I do.
>>4810811>>4810804So let me get this straight, you guys want Silver to murder a childs family, beat him bloody, scar him for life and then kidnap him to keep the poor sod in chains. Do you see any parallels with a certain someone in this story who might have experienced something similar and might not be interested in inflicting undue torment on people?Bullet goes in head, assuming the others don't finish him off after we kind of told our doctor to execute their leader.
>>4810804Honestly the kid is too messed up and I'm not a head doctor(and frankly no one else is, not even Luffy can positive thinking the poor bastard put of this). The best option would be to find someone who could put a strong enough mind whammy on him that he could eventually sort himself out but personally I'd rather die than have someone else force my mind like that no matter how fucked I was.My vote is death for the kid.
>>4810821Oh no I don't want to keep him. I say we just put him out of his misery, I was just explaining how there was basically no alternatives where the kid lives and other people won't suffer because of it.
>>4810822in that case make it swift and painless and give our patchwork loli a hug while at it, she's going to need some time to cool down with her plushies
>>4810828>>4810822And you know what the best part is?"Hey Mary, figured you'd wanna know. Your brother just executed a child in broad daylight. Still think he's the same kid you grew up with"meanwhile, somewhat off to the side Rob Lucci looks up from a report he was reading, glances at Hattori and simply says "Told you, he's evil"
>>4810837the man's brother tried to kill us it was legit self defence
I still think sttanic is a lyda situation, and he just looks like a kid. Because if a kid really knows rokushi and haki, his talent puts silver and luffy to shame. and unless i am speed reading something how a kid is a ex-marine ?
>>4810837>tfw the media spins it harder than vortex kid spun his own life into the gutter
>>4810837Yea, but we don't really got another option? We let him go free now there's a half blind kid going around killing. We bring him with us he's basically just going to be stuck in seastone the whole time.We could try to turn him into the marines, but that's a lot of risk for us, and they'll probably just throw him into Impel Down since it's to much trouble to actually get him the help he needs.>>4810840Yea but when they read that we also killed his brother, a child who at a glance just seems to be the brother of Cooper to the general public, you know the government is going to turn that back on us.
>>4810836Ideally that's how it would go.>>4810837Just because no one saw you doing it doesn't mean you aren't evil for killing kids Lucci!
>>4810837I mean there's not much we can do here. I don't think there's a single therapist in the entirety of the One Piece world and most of the doctors here are either "Slap a patch on it" or "Cut him open, see what's under the hood, and then slap a patch on that specifically because I'm a fucking professional."The closest thing that possibly exists is that lady that trained Chopper and I'm not even sure she could solve this clusterfuck or would even give enough of a shit to care.
>>4810841It's the marines. I wouldn't put it past them to have experimented on the little shit. That or he's huffing that pure SHOUNEN juice.
>>4810837>Marine News Network here>We just got footage of Silver the monster killing this innocent child!>back to you Marilly in the station!
>>4810847Yea it's just a lose lose situation. There's not really a good option, anything we do either makes the kid suffer more or lets innocents get harmed.>>4810841CP9 are kids trained in it, so it's not a stretch to say that they might have some kids knowing basic Rokushiki techniques.
>>4810840Ah yes, of course. How silly of me, obviously the Marines are going to play fairly and honestly and not at all going to use it to demonize a pirate they're already afraid of. And that's assuming malice, not simply them viewing us through the lens of being a rampaging murderous potential heir to Rocks and assuming the worst. >>4810843We do not, no. Doesn't change anything, and it would be the most reasonable choice to kill the kid, Stannic, here and now alongside as the same is happening to his friends and family. >>4810844Lucci says yes, but its OK because he got a permit from the gouverment.
>>4810860Yea, it sucks, it's going to give us more bad press, but it's the best option. Time to add child killer to our list of shit now I guess.
>>4810860>Lucci says yes, but its OK because he got a permit from the gouverment.>It's literally just a piece of paper that says he can kill anyone he wants, in his handwriting.
>>4810851If he really is an experiment he probably would be a Cipher agents, and not a random marine>>4810856Like you said Cipher agents, I don't see how a kid would be among the marines.
>>4810852*cuts to crying attractive woman*"Oh its was awful, that poor boy was begging for his brother to save him the whole time!" "Yes, pirates are indeed awful. But don't worry, the World gouverment has promised to strike down on monsters like Captain Cavalier Silver and protect the citizens of the world from their depredations, while even now the execution of "Fire Fist" Ace of the whitebeard pirates...
>>4810747Well, there goes her innocence.Oh well! Killing your enemies is the natural order of things.
>>4810797bruh silver did nothing to these faggotslil' man literally stabbed marcella because he's a psychothey wanted us dead for existinghow is all this not their fault lmao
>>4810842
>>4810879Because truth is but the excuse of an uncreative mind and the marines, I must admit, are very creative. You also read this in my voice, didn't you Anon?
>>4810870well if it isnt ron swanson
>>4810860Who the fuck actually cares about Silver’s reputation? We’re playing an amoral pirate who gives zero shits about common sense and has a track record of wanton senseless violence. Argue that you don’t want to kill a beaten blinded kid, sure. I disagree, but sure. But caring about Silver’s reputation? We practically declared fucking war on the World Government. That ship has sailed, so don’t try to delude yourself that Silver’s reputation is somehow still positive.
>>4810489But a tiny penis is a smaller target for Silver to hit.
>>4810747I HAVE MIXED FEELINGS FOR THIS WHIPLASH OF AN EMOTIONAL ROLLAR COASTER HERE!
Wait....what if we tie the brat up with sea stone chains, and ditch him with Hina or whoever else is sent at us, and a list of times to knock him out if he gets, twitchy. Hell, we could throw him at Garp next time he shows up.
sorry spooky.Lab assistant qm are you here? i forgot to vote i was at the hospital yesterday and i se eyou thread is not archived in the qst sub tg

>>4811349>>4811351Erm... what?Pretty sure the thread is archived. Take care anon and let the anesthesia wear off>>4810811Stannic is two years younger than Silver. Meaning he's 14Still older than Will though>>4810837While failing to mention it was a renegade group of Marines suffering from severe PTSD and mental trauma which makes them worse than the G-5 who are still functional at least>>4810873>And now a word from our sponsors!>Celestial Cereal>Tastes like divinity!>>4810969Well I'm glad I could achieve what I set out to do
>>4810969There's no need! Clear up your emotions quickly by accepting that you simply need to kill your enemies! And don't forget, it's better to put them out of their suffering! >>4811569>Stannic is two years younger than Silver. Meaning he's 14I thought he was 11 or something. So he is perfectly old enough for a good killing
>>4811569its archived but its not on sub tg qst so it cant really be found ever and i tried to use your popular cool quest in the hope it would be found by the other qm
>>4811573waitaminute... isn't that what cooper thought about pirates?

Yes it is. >>4810986>>4810969I'm really glad that you're getting into the quest enough to be torn like this, but anything other then killing Stannic would be cruel, and probably remind Silver a little to much of his own childhood. Kidnapping and chaining people down, or leaving them abandoned after killing their family? That's a big nope right there.
>>4811646I got no idea what to tell you, mostly because I'm having a hard time understanding what you want to sayBut the whole thing is here from thread 1http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=west+blue+seadogs>>4811696“Pirates are evil? The Marines are righteous? These terms have always changed throughout the course of history! Kids who have never seen peace and kids who have never seen war have different values! >>4811702Based and moral relativism pilled
>>4811702I still think we just chuck the brat at Garp and let him sort it out. He might just go on a rampage and slaughter some Marines.
>>4811923And in the meantime?I say again: Murdering a childs family, dragging him off in chains for an indeterminate amount of time in order to hand him over to the people we don't like and he ran away from because we don't want to do deadly violence is not in character. But killing someone who tried to, in cold blood, murder one our own after we've finished with his people? Yea, yea that's perfectly in line with Silver's morality. Violence isn't wrong, its the means with which we affect the world, the means with which we have broken free and are *enjoying* ourselves. And it is the means with which those who oppose us try to stop us. Violence isn't bad, or wrong or immoral. It is expected and whoever is the most able and willing to do violence is justified in what they do.
>>4811935I just want to fuck with Garp and see if the nutter kills Mary.
>>4811936The biggest issue with that plan is we have to hold on to the kids until we meet with Garp again and who knows how long that will take.
>>4812113Throw him at the nearest Marine base and tell them to let him know we dropped him off. What are they gonna do, stop us?
Okay. So I'll post one of the omakes soon. I'll leave the Lyda fight for a later date>>4812300>Throw him at the nearest Marine baseThat'd be HQ fren
The Yonko, the Four Emperors. The name alone is enough to strike fear in the hearts of men. Some say that the hardest point in a childs life is realizing Santa isn't real. In truth it's the moment when they realize the Yonko are. Such is their might that nobody, not even the World Government dares to oppose them. In fact some claim the entirety of the Navy, the Shichibukai and all other organizations under the WG's jurisdiction combined is only enough to oppose a single one of the Yonko at any given time. And the only reason they haven't taken over the world yet is that they keep each other in check more than anyone else. So it is not an every day occurrence that someone simply strolls up to one of them for a meeting. A small vessel approached the capital ship of the Whitebeard pirates, demanding parley. And it was granted. Now a single person walked onboard with bare feet and rugged, war-torn garbs. Some fresh sons of Whitebeard tried to do their typical routine, getting in the way of their visitor but the more senior members were quick to pull them back. An incident now could have disastrous consequences. So the person walked uninterrupted all the way up to Edward Newgate, who's currently hooked up to a great deal of medical equipment."Edward Newgate, the man with the fattest cock in the world! You look like shit!""Eliza D. Silver. It's been a while. But not long enough."The old man raised his gourd of sake and drank deeply from it."Argh! When I heard about the news of your death I opened a good bottle of sake. Shame that not even the Devil can put up with you, wench.""Don't blame me old fart! Lucy kicked me out when I refused to flush the toilet!""So what madness convinced you to come here, knowing full well I'll cut your head off?""Come oooon, you're still mad about that? I already told you! I had places to be and one of your ships got between me and where I was going! You can't blame their poor life choices on me! And besides! You know if I start making exceptions people will think I'm going soft!"Whitebeard smashed the hilt of his naginata into the ship, making it shake."You have five seconds to tell me why you're here. Then I'll get violent!""Oooooh! Threaten me with a good time why won't you? The last big rumble of Edward Newgate! But... that's not why I'm here."Eliza reached under her cape and clearly grabbed something, which made the Whitebeard pirates jump into action with their weapons. Until they saw what she was reaching for."Here!"Eliza tossed a bottle over to Whitebeard."I know that ain't enough to even scratch your thirst but that's all I could find. And I'm expecting at least a glass' worth."Whitebeard looked at the label and couldn't believe his eyes."Ho? That sure takes me back. Where did you find this stuff? OY! Bring us two glasses!"
"You wouldn't believe me even if I told you. And believe me you really don't want to know either! Anyway, cheers!"They both slowly gulped down the brown liquid and Whitebeard began choking on it. His children became worried and almost jumped Eliza again but luckily Newgate spoke up."Cough cough cough. Gurarararara. It's just as bad as I remember it! God... I feel like it just shaved a couple of my last minutes off my lifespan.""Hey those few minutes would've probably sucked anyway. Be glad I helped you skip them! Cough cough. Yeah. He always had a shit taste! I mean, yeah it tastes alright but how are you supposed to feel it when your throat feels like you gave Akainu a blowjob?"The two of them laughed for a solid few minutes, sharing a couple more glasses to diffuse the situation until Whitebeard finally decided to get on with business."So, will you finally tell me what you want?""I guess I felt like visiting you. Got a strange feeling that if I don't do it now I might not have a chance later.""I'm flattered. You talked with the others yet?""You know damn well that's not what I meant old fart! And besides, who would I reach out to if I was dying? Golden Lion? We all know that guy was unhinged by default! Wouldn't want to meet him after an extended vacay in Impel Down. Silver Axe? I don't even know what's up with that one. John? Dead, that asshole. That leaves You, Linlin and Da Boy. And you know they don't play nice! Black Widow maybe? Only problem is I haven't heard about her in a while and don't care enough to check.""You could try someone from your own generation.""Oh yeah? Like Red Hair? No thanks. I mean, I got it bad but not "No more masturbation" bad. So no thanks. And everyone else is a tool anyway. None of them got that GOOD SHIT! That old spunk!""Yeah I agree on that one. Red Hair especially. Snot nosed brat got too big for his britches. Cough cough. But you should mind your own business and don't worry about me. We all get there some day. You too.""I know. Believe me, I know that more than anybody. My time was up already. Just got lucky and someone wound my clock up a bit at the last moment. Speaking of which... I think it's time I actually come forward with what I want. I'm here to ask a favor from you. Not a big one, just a professional courtesy between two old colleagues.""Get on with it!""Okay okay. You see I got this little pup that I'm looking for! If any of your boys come across him I'd appreciate it if they sent me a message!""And does this "pup" have a name?""No. BUT!"Eliza began rummaging through her stuff and withdrew a pencil drawing."I got a portrait of him! He kinda looks like this! He has these rosy cheeks under all that dirt and he makes this cute noise if you tickle him! Oh and he eats dirt! I think that's important to mention!"
"Oy-yoi! What are you thinking you wench? You think you can just come here and demand we look for some kid you lost? Get real!""Hey! Watch your mouth brat or I'm gonna wipe your nose clean! We might be the same age group but I'm a different breed from you chikey! So tone it down before I decide to have your drumsticks for dinner!""M-Marco! Look! That drawing! Doesn't that seem... familiar?"Marco stares at the drawing Eliza's been showing Whitebeard all this time and his eyes open wide."Holy shit-yoi! Is that-"The Whitebeard pirates then began scrambling for their catalog of bounties and withdrew the one they suspect might be the one in question."Yeah. This is it. And he jumped since last time. Even the name. What the- Hey crazy bitch! Is this the one you're looking for?""Haaaaa?"Eliza walked over to Marco to look at what he had to show and she froze in place."doki doki"Without a word she stared blankly at the paper and wrenched it out of Marcos hand. Fixated on the image she walked off the deck of the Moby Dick and even forgot to say goodbye to Whitebeard in the process."Oy! Where do yoi think you're going?""Leave her be Marco!""O-Old man?""Gurararara! Now that I did not expect in a million years! GURARARARARARA-GURARARARARARARARARARARA!"
>>4812326>"I got a portrait of him! He kinda looks like this! He has these rosy cheeks under all that dirt and he makes this cute noise if you tickle him! Oh and he eats dirt! I think that's important to mention!">>4812328>"doki doki"Cute.

>>4812320>>4812326>>4812328Now that was an unexpected treat! And kudos, I didn't really have to much of an idea about what Eliza would be like in person, but that fucking nails it!>Grabs the warrant poster >Doki Doki>just fucks off from the Moby DickHah! We're finally getting Kaizoku-nee to notice us! I was honestly wondering if we'd have to burn down Marie Jois before she'd peak up. >>4812418Yes. Yes it definitely is.
>>4812308And? I repeat, what are they gonna do, stop us?
>>4812426I have a feeling HQ is going to be pretty busy around the time we arrive.
>>4812371What's her face when she finds out he called the Buster down on the island himself, and tied the CP9 puke that had it to the top of Justice tower to watch it happen?>>4812356No, she must be hornier when we see her again and we become sappiest fluffy bat boy that flying hugs her.
>>4812328We must be the most adorable flying furball of death she ever sees, and the word of god is fluff. Therefore, we must make our FLUFFIEST BAT FORM, for the sole purpose of charging straight too her, even on her own ship, if this ends in Pirate Nee-Chan Snu Snuing Silver then and there, then so be it!
>>4812328Spooky am retarded, is this mom or adopted mom?
>>4812446Adopted mom, thirsty adopted big sister? We may be hentai logic step brother for her, the horny is clearly in the reverse in this situation
>>4812446Adopted Onee-san that we saved when we were slaves. She installed most of our values we still hold.
>>4812446She's the trigger event for Silver going from the slave he was to the pirate he is, and instilled in us some interesting set of morals. Basically she's the reason we exist as we do.
>>4812326>"I got a portrait of him! He kinda looks like this! He has these rosy cheeks under all that dirt and he makes this cute noise if you tickle him! Oh and he eats dirt! I think that's important to mention!"kek. nice omake, spook.
>>4812446I think it was in thread 2 if you want to pop back and read up on it. "My enemy is my teacher. My actions are my voice. I make no excuses. I never quit. And I know not of defeat!"
>>4812320>>4812326>>4812328WAIT TILL SHE HEARS WE RAIDED A FUCKING TAX SHIP AND BTFOED BOA HANCOCK AND HER CREWoh, and the buster call, that was a jolly fun timethe wole "poneglyph understanding" might be a BIT wierd thoalso fuck the IRS
>>4812630Too be fair, the only one that knows we can passably understand Poneglypes was Spandom, and I think Lucci, but I don't know if he found it relevant to reveal that info yet to anyone.>On the other handShe's gonna squirt when she sees what her lttle squirt got up too right after burning the Island down, she'd figure out it was us that did it too. She might even come visit us.
>>4812655actually, what DID we do that REALLY shot our bounty up? apart from looting a tax ship and the buster call?
>>4812659I mean those are two pretty big things. Even with the blame being shifted to Spandem for the buster call the fact that we charged into Enies Lobby and made it out was enough to boost it. That and stealing a warship, just evading people like Hina and taking out vice admirals from time to time. Even with the government hiding some stuff we do or saying that other people did it, we've done enough to build it up over time. Also helps that Garp, Tsuru, and Sengoku see us as a second coming of two people.
>>4812659Convince the upper echelon of the Marines that we're basically Attilla the Pirate hun 2.0It all comes back to Rocks, and they're quite convinced (and we have done very little to alleviate those beliefs) that we are on the way to take up his mantle and *royally* fuck shit up wherever we go as some kind of living breathing natural disaster that comes in, wrecks everything in its path and then moves on to the next victim.
>>4812659.....probably the Tax Ship and Buster Call. The fact we demonstrated the ability to travel without a Log Pose. Lucci giving us a pure evil rating out of 10, coming unironically, from Rob "Bird Fucking" Lucci. Rescuing Nico Robin, and on the off chance Lucci gave a shit about that ability in particular, hearing the Voice of All Things. Executing Spandom and outright slaughtering if not crippling all memebers of CP9, FUCKING MAKING LUCCI QUESTION HIS MORAL COMPASS AND CONSIDER REAL JUSTICE, plus looting a Buster Call Snail and blasting they're own island. Quiet frankly why our bounty isn't higher than the Monkey's is probably the lack of D in our name, which we can legally fix when Pirate Nee-San comes by and we blabber about marriage being a nice thing to learn about from her.>>4812668>>4812672This too, we are the Second monster that made the old guard sweat in fear. Even when it is largely by accident, and we don't particularly care one way or another who we piss off.
>>4812675also the poor heartwasher, she wasn't able to make us repent for our crimes because OUR MORAL COMPASS IS THAT FUCKED UP, jesus fuck that must be PTSD inducing for herTHAT BEING SAID that does NOT give us an excuse to start thinking "every marine eviiiiiiiiiiil" because that would make us hypocrites what with silver being disgusted by cooper's "it's never my fault" mindset
>>4812681I mean, is it really fucked up? She heard from Mary how we were slaves, and still left us to rot till we got out the hard way. We are a simple Gon without the hot mom.
>>4812694gon from hunterxhunter?
>>4812694Yes, yes it is that fucked up. Take murderers, rapists and thieves, psychopaths and sociopaths and to a degree they will know that they're doing something wrong. They either don't care, have an excuse or enjoy but they have the empathy to understand that its not something others enjoy. A slave could go "I did onto them what they did onto me, they caused me pain so I caused them" while understanding and knowing full well that hurting people is a wrong. And Silver doesn't. Silver doesn't go "Yea, I did X because this and that..." Silver goes "Yea I did it. You should have stopped me. The fault lies with you, not me"Not having faintest doubt that you are morally justified, and having no regrets, while being a *pirate*.Suffice to say that is scary for anyone who thinks about it, terrifying for those who understand the implications of exactly how far such an individual could go to reach his goals, and what he might be willing to do. To make it worse we don't have a goal, we're basically just traveling around the world doing... Whatever the fuck we want, and if you're interfering with that then its on your head.
>>4812703Yes. He's like a non house trained version of him, but in hindsight, it may be more accurate that his Nee-San, is a combo of Fem Hisoka and Uvogin. Hopefully only the horny fighter part of that combo.
>>4812710god have mercy if the world nobles ever cross uss FOR WE WILL NOT
>>4812715Yea, another thing. To someone who just reads the reports we seem like a madman. Attacks a heavenly tribute, ok ballsy and shows how little we care about potential consequences but still actual piracy.Attacks Enies lobby. Reasons unkown, potentially for an autograph. Demolished a revolution, reasons entirely unknown. Presumed to have been provoked in some way. And now: Tortured and killed a child, along with marine deserters. Not only does that make no sense, but notice how we're not aligning ourselves any where. Pro World gouverment? Dead, anti-World gouverment? Dead Marines? Dead, deserters against the marines? Dead Shichibukai? Well not dead, but certainly worse for wear. The only real constant that the marines have about us is that we leave corpses behind, for reasons usually unknown or inane and without fitting into and neat little box where they can label us and predict where we'l go and what we'l do. It's an organizers or bureaucrats nightmare.
>>4812731To be fair Garp Tsuru and Sengoku absolutely know what box to put us in and that's "Crazy fuckhead with a sharp object."So far Big Sis Silver and Rocks both fit in that box, and potentially Blackbeard though he seems to have some kind of moral framework which might exclude him from the very exclusive club of "head emptier than a politician's sense of morals and decency."
>>4812675We still never got to see how they reacted to our response to their warlord offer.
>>4812794Man I wonder how different everything would've been if we decided to become a warlord? I think that could've been an even bigger canon break than taking the Strawhats route.
>>4812328Oooohh boy. Meeting Eliza is going to be... *interesting* to say the least.>"Gurararara! Now that I did not expect in a million years! GURARARARARARA-GURARARARARARARARARARARA!"If laughter is indeed the best medicine, Whitebeard probably got back the minutes he lost to whatever the hell that drink was>>4812823IIRC people were considering taking the offer purely for the chance to double-cross the WG, just so Silver's bounty would skyrocketIt didn't happen because it prolly would have been OOC for Silver to willingly start listening to authority just because he got a letter asking him to.
>>4813272Oh yea I know why we didn't do it, I wasn't in favor of it either when we were voting, but I'm just curious how different things could've gone if we did accept it.Major thing is that Blackbeard doesn't become one, although he probably could've still done everything he did end up doing. In our case, Garp probably would never end up taking Sengoku and Tsuru seriously.Mary wouldn't train as hard since we're with the Government.Enies Lobby would end up being like it is in Canon.Sure there's more I'm missing but that's just off the top of my head.
>>4812792>Blackbeard though he seems to have some kind of moral frameworkThe guy is one the most or the most amoral character in one piece. I am fairly sure he doesn't even believe in morality.
>>4813692Blackbeard lives solely to chase his dream. Nothing else matters to him. So yeah his sense of morality is super fucked.
>>4813698This. One of the most interesting about Blackbeard is the contrast with Luffy, while one enjoy the journey and the bonds that he made along the away, teacher betrayed and killed his stepfamily because the only thing that really matters for him is the conclusion.
>>4812713a really real hope she is just fem uvogin in this analogy, and not the hisoka part.
>>4812713>Silver is version of gonwell >moral relativsm >childsh >trained and raised in the nature>trill chaser>savant in combat>begins his journey to find his familiar figure I can see the similarities.
>>4813752But we arn't morally relativistic. We make judgement calls and often claim our own (somewhat twisted) morality is superior to others and even enforce it by violence rather then saying "Well Slavery is fine, because in the context of their culture..." If anything we are moral imperialists, if that's a thing and if it isn't I just made it up.
>>4813795Silver is a moral roadroller.
>>4813795>moral imperialistsHe has conquered a few islands and imposed his morality on them
>>4813795I mean if you did it's a fair comparison. We're basically Naruto if he turned Talk-no-Jutsu into a valid weapon. It also doesn't hurt that our morals basically boil down to "don't be a dick, have fun and enjoy life because life is there for enjoyment, and the strong decide what is righteous because they are strong therefore I am strong and decide this way of living is righteous because I am right and you can't beat me and say otherwise."He's literally Aesma with a dick.
>>4813795With moral relativism I mean charging your morals according to the convenience of the situation. But yeah thinking better I don't think it applies to silver, grey morality is maybe a better term>If anything we are moral imperialists, if that's a thing and if it isn't I just made it up.Might makes right is probably the term that you are looking>We're basically Naruto if he turned Talk-no-Jutsu into a valid weapon.i don't think silver ever talked no jutsu anybody maybe the boa sisters.>"don't be a dick, have fun and enjoy life because life is there for enjoyment, and the strong decide what is righteous because they are strong therefore I am strong and decide this way of living is righteous because I am right and you can't beat me and say otherwise."Dunno about that silver was beat up by at least four people, and he never considered they are right because them are stronger than him. Unironically, i think the character with the closest morality to compare with silver is actually Luffy.
>>4813897>the weak don't have any choice but to follow the will of the strong>i was beaten by someone, but that doesn't mean i'm weak>because as long as i live, i'll keep getting stronger >until i'm truly free
>>4813897>>4813925i think silver operates of a blue and orange morality more than anything
>>4813925>the weak don't have any choice but to follow the will of the strongKind of false you can always choice death instead of submission>i was beaten by someone, but that doesn't mean i'm weak>because as long as i live, i'll keep getting strongerThe problem is strength is not a absolute valor, strength is relative. in front of someone of youkou level silver strength would amount to nothing. Let's say that in alternative scenario in water seven, garp instead of going away decides that silver must abandon is ideals and friendship with eliza or he is going to kill him, if he refuses silver obviously is not going to live to keep getting strong. In this situation he is that same than any other weak person, he is going to choice between death or submission. And don't think silver is going to believe that garp would be right, just because he is flat out stronger.
>>4813979>The strong can enforce their will on the weak>If I am weak they can and will enforce their will on meYepp, still perfectly in line with Silvers morality. Garp would be entirely justified doing that because Garp can do that. That's our fault for not being able to protect ourselves and our own, the failure there would lie with us. This is the beauty of Silvers view of the world: Its basically the Melian dialogue with an additional streak of individualism and if applied to any large system it would result in anarchy, corruption, violence and the general collapse of society. It's not a well thought out and fully functional philosophy, it is the twisted view a child whose understanding of authority is a whip and that freedom demands violence to survive.
>>4813995>That's our fault for not being able to protect ourselves and our own, the failure there would lie with us. Sorry if I am speed reading but I see anons saying that, but there is actually any evidence in quest that silver actually believe this ?There is evidence of the contrary like he getting angry in Hancock for attacking her own crew, if this is correct he would just think that's her crew fault for not being able to protect themselves.
>>4814020This is mostly from Blueno's momentous fuckup in outright saying he obeys the law and practices "justice" not because he believes in it but because he can do what he pleases under it and those above him are too strong to fight in any case.Silver merely took that fact, examined his own world view, found it fit with what he'd already seen of those "in charge" of the world, decided that it made sense, and then proceeded to beat Blueno to near death because in following the law he proved that he was merely a tool unwilling to carve his own path.To be free is to rail against anything that would bind you and to act according to your own will. The "law" is merely an excuse you give in order to not do so.If Garp, or through his actions Mary enforces his will by beating us we'd acknowledge his win, but at the same time his win would only be temporary since we'd get stronger and tear him a new asshole because he made the foolish decision to leave us alive. That's the difference between Silver and a rational person, because Silver does not acknowledge that he's "beaten." He'll know he's lost, he might even accept that he's not as strong as his opponent, but that's not the same as beaten.Beaten is when you stay in the log house eating trash and wearing a collar while your owners whip you, beaten is not punching a tree until you break and then punching it again until it does, beaten is living on that same island until you die.Silver is never going back. He can be imprisoned, he can lose his crew, he can be torn apart and thrown to the dogs, his last view of the mortal world the descending jaws of a starving stray but he will laugh all the way down their blood slicked throats because he'll never be beaten again.
>>4814020I'm replying to you but in reality I'm just trying to put this out there (because there are a LOT of posts I'd like to reply to but there is just too many of them)My interpretation, and you are absolutely free to disagree with it, is that Silver is like an Ork. Now hear me out!>Might makes right>Violence is the absolute authority from which all authority is derived>The greatest power in the world is the ability to hurt others. If you can't, you are at the mercy of those who canSilver believes in this 100%The reason why he got upset about Boa Hancocks attitude, or anyones horseshit in general is because he implicitly believes he's at the top, like how Luffy views himself as the future Pirate King.>Victory is all that matters>Defeat equals deathIn his mind he always, always wins. Even if he runs away. Because that means he can come back and punch you in the throat later. Only death means it's game over and by that point why would he be upset? So yes, he's a giant fucking hypocrite because he has no problem imposing his will on others, because in his eyes he is right to do that. And he'll prove that by bashing in anyones face that disagrees. Now, he isn't "evil" per se or even a tyrant. He can be swayed and he can listen to reason. But only if he thinks you're good and he allows you to influence him. Hence why Marcella can bonk him on the head regularly, or why his crewmembers can tell him "no". If he considers you his friend he's the most amicable, jolly being in the world. If he thinks you are an enemy he is a hyperactive ball of pure destructive forceSimple as
>>4814204Man he is going to loathe the world nobles when he finally sets his eyes on one of them.>Silver rolling up on one of those fishbowled fuckers and just staring at it dumbfounded, disappointed, and outright insulted by their very existence. Pic very much related.
>>4814204Now I kind of want to see Silver sing some Ork songs.ERE WE GO!Also wonder how he feels or see's things when encountering someone way out of his ballpark to fight, until he gets strong enough later on to properly fight them.
>>4814292You mean how he, with absolutely no hesitation, jumped on top of Jinbei and tried to shove a sword his gills for the crime of defending himself against Murray? And then when he had this fact pointed out to him, and that he was shown just out of his league that Shichibukai was the answer was "You hurt my crew, you die now" and then later when discussing things with Murray what was Silvers view?"Why so sad? We're alive, so we can change things! (about Jinbei/fishman district/Celestial dragon slavery) So lets do it!">>4814204>Time to argue with the GMI'd say the reason we got so upset with Hancock is because she's the captain, she's at the top. Her crew trusts her to be strongest and keep them safe because that's the role he sees himself in. So there's a direct conflict of "how to captain" a breach of trust even and how does Silver solve conflicts?
>>4814408Good point, my memory was a bit foggy so my bad.
>>4814408oh yeah, if there's one thing that silver hates almost as much as being enslaved, it's the betrayal of one's comrades.oh boy, when he finds out about blackbeard...
>>4814204so here's a question from mehow does lydia feel about silver quite obviously protecting her?and him getting hurt way worse because of it
>>4814532What's her reaction when he says she can't stop him from protecting her smile? With direct unbroken eye contact.
>>4814532There is this understanding between the crewmembers that have been with Silver long enough that should they get in danger Silver would not only put his hand in fire for them, he'd beat the shit out of fire and make it call him daddy for them. But obviously Lyda only truly gets it now that she experienced it up closeAnd she's very caring and doesn't usually want people to get hurt. But she's a very smart cookie and she's starting to figure out things. Like how Silver doesn't just get hurt because he's a fucker but because sometimes he takes beatings in the stead of others>>4814713Lyda.exe has stopped working
>>4815501I'm just gonna say it, Lyda won the waifu wars in my heart. Even if I'm down for Marcella or Hagetaka. WHEN SUDDENLY A WILD ELIZA APPEARS

>>4815501SO, QM, when's the next seccion coming?
A'ight. I promised it! So here!
"H-How are we supposed to fight a damn giant when our weapons can't paralyze him?!""Calm down idiot! All we have to do it hold out until Cooper turns this guy inside out!"Greki started swinging his hammer around in a circle."You talk too much! Fafnir!"Simply letting his weapon loose the giant hunk of iron smashed into the ground near the marines, crushing some while sending others flying with the resulting blast-wave."I hope for your sake your captain can bring you back from the dead, otherwise my demise will bring you little solace!"As he walked over to his hammer and over some poor unconscious marine he saw a small girl run over to him."Ah little lass! Are you not helping our captain?""N-No. He said I should come back and help the others instead.""Hmmmm. Understandable. Then stand behind me lass. I won't let a single one of these gnats get past me!""N-No!"She denied the giants orders."I-I want to fight! I don't want to hold everyone back. Not when Silver, and you, and everyone else is getting hurt out there! S-So I'll fight! I... I... I am a Silver Pirate too!"Greki nodded approvingly."Aye. Then I'll protect the others. Go and show these fools the flames burning within you!"Seeing this display the Marines began laughing their asses off."HAHAHAHAHAH! You hear that boys? This little girl is going to stop us! Alright, let's teach this pirate bitch what the real world's like!"As they began closing the distance Lyda started rummaging around in her satchel and she threw a few pebbles at the marines. The little rocks bounced harmlessly off their chests as she lacked the strength to throw the rocks hard enough to even inconvenience them. Finding this too much the ex-marines had to hold their stomachs as they laughed until they heard an audible "Pop" followed by the sound of something sizzling. They opened their eyes and saw tin cans with fuses coming out of them rolling around where the shiny pebbles used to be."Volatile Swap."BOOOOOM"By the SUN lass! What was that?!""I-It's just some explosives I made with my leftover chemicals."Lyda lifted her long skirt just enough to reveal some of the grenades she's made dangling underneath."GREKIKIKIKIKI! WOW LASS! G-Guess you really do have an explosive temper huh? GREKIKIKIKIKIKI!"As Lyda was blushing from Grekis teasing the marines that were not torched by the kaboom slowly got back up and realized the mistake they made underestimating a member of a dangerous pirate crew."Grrrrr! Get the she-bitch! And break her arm so she can't throw any more explosives!"They began charging her at full speed and Lyda started to worry."O-Oh no. I-I'm not sure I can time my bombs right if they run like that! Then-"She withdrew a few phials from her satchel and threw them on the ground. As the glass shattered the dirt began sizzling before the little girl."P-POISON?!"
"It's actually acid. Please don't step on it. And don't worry I won't use it on you. Now please excuse me!"Lyda tossed a regular pebble now at the marines which they got worried about."WHACK IT BACK! Don't let her do whatever she's planning!"Lyda took a deep breath and braced herself for what was about to happen. Raising both hands she clenched her teeth."Clear-Burst Swap!"Rather than a pop an ear bursting explosion was heard as the airborne nugget seemingly exploded on its own. But there was no great ball of fire or heat only sheer, invisible force that could rupture eardrums and knock men back. But as the marines were blown away Lyda tumbled forward as a great vacuum formed in front of her where the pebble appeared. As it turns out air has its own value, it's just a whole lot lower than most other things so you'd need a large amount of it for an exchange. And when you make all that air occupy the same space as a tiny object it tends to rapidly expand as soon as possible. The only downside is that the attack also forms a powerful vacuum where the thrown object appears which can knock her over and deal damage to herself. But sadly while she knew this would happen she had no idea how much it'd hurt."Owowow."While she was struggling to get up one of the marines that were still standing ran over to her and grabbed the little girl to take her hostage. Raising his sword to her throat he pointed Lyda at the giant."Gotcha you filthy wench! I'll enjoy making you pay! HEY YOU! DON'T GET ANY IDEAS! Move a single muscle you stupid giant and I'll cut her belly open you hear me?!""Damn it! Let go of the lass THIS INSTANT you little shrimp and I'll consider not turning your bones to dust!""Cough cough. I-It's okay mister giant! D-Don't think about me.""What are you saying lass?""I-I always knew I don't fit in here. I don't fit anywhere really. I-I know that I'm worthless. I'm weak, I get scared easily. I really shouldn't even be here. So please, hit me as hard as you can!"The marine then held Lydas throat tighter and told her to shut up."B-But it was nice...""Huh?""S-Somehow you guys made me feel like, like maybe, just maybe I could be just like you guys. So thank you! Thank you for making me believe we could be... equal."POP"H-Huh? Where am... Oh! GREKIKIKI! Well hello there!""E-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH?!"Swiftly Greki swatted the little fly clinging to his back and reached forward even faster to catch the falling doctor before she'd hit the ground."Whew lass! That was some smart thinking but next time please be a little more clear about what you're planning. I have some trouble thinking fast in my old age!""Teehee!"
And that's the Lyda fight ladies and gents! As for the next session, I'm thinking Wednesday at 15:00 GMT!Have a good night!
>>4816588same to you. the headpat magnet's growing up, what a smart kid
>>4816583>>4816587Sweet. And also awesome. But do you know what this reminds me of?Scared, socially awkward, complicated power that requires setup, effort and a lot of thinking? Barreling towards some horrible life experiences and psychosis? Pic very much related, especially the home made pipe bomb surprise. But yea, thank you spooks! Real good to see little Lyda step up to the stage, and that speech was *not* just for distraction. I think she's been holding that one in for a long while now.
>>4816587>"S-Somehow you guys made me feel like, like maybe, just maybe I could be just like you guys. So thank you! Thank you for making me believe we could be... equal."This is equal parts hilarious, heartwarming and “oh shit”.
>>4816583>>4816587The way she fights reminds me somewhat of Usopp with all her tricks and gadgets she uses.Makes me wonder how useful Usopp could be if he got a Devil Fruit that suited him?I also like Greki's laugh, the fact that it's just his name made me chuckle.
>>4816587You cute little cinnamon bun, your getting hugs.
sow all i'm saying is silver needs to start throwing cannonballs just to be able to give luffy MORE PTSD

>>4817862Bleh that's the Flashman route, down to the reason for it.
>>4817887speaking of wich we might need to try and find skypea to get some dials; i'm shure everyone could make use of at least one type of dial and beside, it'd make a nice "beach episode" of sorts because enel has been dealt with
>>4817892You already have dials. Because some are somewhat commercially available. Sound dials. Which were used during the 2nd Dance-off with Jango and FullbodyAnd it's not like there is only 1 sky island

>>4817896i would imagine they fall down from the islands on occasion
>>4817950I think that's exactly the reason they gave. They fall down
soon (tm)
After the Cooper situation was resolved you found yourself in quite a bind. Turns out killing the guy who tried to fuse your bones together has quite a few ramifications when you went through great lengths to break as many of your bones as possible. So after everyone managed to gather themselves it took them quite a while to put you back together. But at the very least everyone else got out of this with only minor injuries."S-Sheesh! Did you really have to be so drastic?""Yes. And sorry.""N-No. I'm just concerned is all. I'm glad you're okay. But if you keep this up you'll be covered in scars. And you know what that means r-right?"You cross your arms in confidence and defiance."Yes, you could say that. I'd look wicked cool."As you're being put back together the folks that have gone into hiding slowly start to emerge and they look at your violent display in horror. Some of them hope they aren't next, others are asking who will protect them from now on. You don't really care about them either way. But that doesn't mean they don't either and you notice more and more of them giving you some strange looks. So be it, if they want to start a fight you can give them one at any time. And it looks like that's what'll have to happen as they slowly but surely get over their fears and start creeping ever closer to you. One of them then steps forth and starts talking nervously."I uh erm... W-What will happen to us now? I-I hope you don't want to start anything with us!">I don't care. Just go. Be on your way>Give us money!>This island is now mine. Any objections?>Other?
>>4819828>I don't care. Just go. Be on your wayNot sure if worth mentioning that those where rouge marines and that little brother was a little unhinged psychopath attacking people that started all of this.
>>4819838+1 and yes it is worth mentioning they started it but we still need to find out about the whole "jade tablet" thing
>>4819828>This island is now mine. Any objections? Also please tell us about the jade tablet if there's someone there we haven't asked yet
>>4819828>>I don't care. Just go. Be on your way>Other?Point to Cooper's corpse "That guy let his brother stab my crewmate, I stabbed him back. Far as I care that's it. If you wanna fight give me a minute so stiches can put my bones back together, if you don't then fuck off."
>>4819828>I don't care. Just go. Be on your wayI don't see a reason to pick any other option>>4819838I guess it makes sense mentioning , we still need the locals collaboration for the jade tables thing
>>4819842I guess it is was just not sure if he was in the mood to explain it, but yeah best he does if we go the de-escalate route, and yeah we need to still tie up some loose ends like the Jade tablet.
>>4819838I don't think we can get ahead of the story after dragging a beaten and bloody child into the town square and started shouting for his brother to come out, and then kill him. Speaking, where is that little shit? We still do need to see to that. And while I do like our habit of semi-claiming islands I'd rather say>"Protect yourselves, nobody else gonna do do it for you" rather then doing it quite so overtly. >>4819846That's also a good point. We have attention, might as well make use of it.
>>4819828>>Other?Demand tribute before we go on our way.
>>4819849My primary reason for wanting the island is the theme of islands named after valuablesSilver and now Jade
>>4819828>Other?>"You don't mess with us, we won't mess with you. Simple, right?"
>>4819859>name a chain of islands afetr valuables>that path becomes known as Treasure Road>twf the real treasure was the friends we made along the way
>>4819867goddammit
>>4819859One slight issue tho mate. You'd be trying to set up a pirate kingdom next door to the Marine HQ and Mariejois. While I'm all for fucking with them, we can't win (hell, we can't *fight*) a static war against the Marines, and we'd have to. Because Silver doesn't back down
>>4819828>This island is now mine. Any objections?Just because of the whole islands named valuables thing
Well I think this looks like just a solid "Leave me alone"I expected more support towards claiming the island but I understand your reasoning>writing
"I don't care! Leave me alone!""B-But our island-""I just said I won't do anything! What do you want from me?""Who will protect us now that you took out Cooper? You just exposed us to every pirate out there!""Let me get this straight-"Marcella stomps over to the concerned townsfolk and begins shouting."You people had a bunch of renegade marines just chilling here. Along with a little PSYCHOPATH that just LOOOOVES killing people and now you expect us to feel bad for you because you no longer have your murdermachines protecting you?! YOU SHOULD BE LUCKY WE AREN'T BURNING THIS PLACE TO THE GROUND! Now I'm gonna count to three. If I see any one of you idiots still gawking I'll get the torches! ONE! TWO!"And before the count of three the streets became empty once more."Tch. The nerve. And then they have the balls to just run away! Typical. But speaking of annoying little shits, where is that little maggot? I thought we left him there! I swear if he got back up I'll-"But he did not get back up. Stannic had no more strength in his broken body to do much. All he really was able to achieve was crawl right up to his big brother and gently try to get him back to his senses."B-Brother! Brother wake up! Cooper? Come on! Get back up and beat the bad guys like you always do! I'll help you kill them! P-please?""Hmmmm. Poor kid.""POOR KID?! Have you lost your mind Murray? The little shit STABBED ME! If you start feeling sorry for him I swear to god!""What's not to pity there? He lost his mind thanks to the marines. Now he lost his brother. Honestly, killing him would be a mercy now.""FINALLY you are making sense! Come on Silver! Let's body this little shit!"You look at Stannic nudging the unresponsive body of his brother, thinking about what to do.>Yeah that'd be for the best. Have fun Marcella>No. Leave him.>Other? (What would you do with him?)
>>4819933>>Other? (What would you do with him?)Quick deathJust like we gave that island we grew up on
>>4819933>Yeah that'd be for the best. Have fun MarcellaChances are he'll try to come after Silver if he manages to recover
>>4819933>Yeah that'd be for the best. Have fun Marcella>DISGRACEFUL
>>4819933>Yeah that'd be for the best. Have fun MarcellaJust make it a quick death.
>>4819933>Yeah that'd be for the best. Have fun Marcella>quick death
>>4819933>Yeah, that would be for the best>Put him out of his misery. One shot with the Jezail.
>>4819936Supporting.Marcella already got her licks in, anything else is just being a shit for shits sake, the same thing we just accepted as a reasonable reason to kill this kid for. That and as has been already stated in thread, there's not really much else we can do here. The bed's been thoroughly shat and there's no one here who can actually do anything to clean it.
>>4819947>>4819943"make it quick, make it painless, make it clean and then we bury them side to side, no need to go over the top with hte bloodshed, there's been enough of that for today"
>>4819933>>Other? (What would you do with him?)>Quick death
>>4819936>>4819951Supporting these two
>>4819989it did go through, and this is in fact a double post.it's too late to delete them now.we've seen everything.
>>4819990Fuck. Here I thought I was fast enough.

A quick death. Merciful>writing
You shake off Lyda for a moment because your body is in a condition now that you can at least walk and move over to Stannic. He makes for quite a pitiful sight like this and you feel like you should do something about it. But he's far too dangerous to be left alive, both to himself and everyone around him. So the only thing you can do is to spare him from further suffering."Hey. Your brother is not there.""H-Huh? Then where is he?""Here."Taking Parley off your back you quickly aim straight forward and shoot. The kickback of the jezail managed to further break some of your bones but that's okay. Holstering your rifle you walk back to allow Stitches to finish her work while the others are staring at you in disbelief."Holy shit.""What? You said he's a poor kid and I agreed! Quick and painless! Didn't even realize he died I bet!"As soon as your treatment is finished you get dressed back up and take note of the several holes in your outfit and the ragged state that it's in."Hey Spider do you think you could make me a new suit? I feel like this is more patches than suit now. Maybe something that's feels more "me" like. If you know what I'm saying.""Hmmmm. That may take some time. But I'll see what I can do. For now however, how do you think we should proceed?""What do you mean?""There's that whole mystery with the sunken treasure and the jade. Not to mention whatever Cooper and his marines may have stolen.""Well-"Gu steps up."Given the extensive equipment we found and subsequently burned, I'd say we can make an educated guess about where their stolen treasure is. In a big pile of ashes. And as for the jade well, nobody really knows anything. We searched everywhere, asked everyone. There is nothing left to explore. I honestly think we should just leave it be and wait out our pose. Wouldn't you agree Silver?">Yeah. I don't feel like treasure hunting anymore. I just wanna rest>No way! That treasure is out there and it is MINE!>Other?
>>4820015>>Other?"let's just take the rest of the day off and see what we do after, i'm getting hungry and i bet there's some cleanup we need to do"
>>4820015>Yeah. I don't feel like treasure hunting anymore. I just wanna rest
>>4820015>I think we should rest first, and then dig a bit deeper once we're in shape to fight again.>Maybe the local tribals will know something, if we can find them.
>>4820015>No way! That treasure is out there and it is MINE!
>>4820015>while the others are staring at you in disbelief. What exactly them are expecting ?
>>4820015>>No way! That treasure is out there and it is MINE!
>>4820015>Yeah. I don't feel like treasure hunting anymore. I just wanna restI say we rest and see what happens, maybe go and see that last remaining descendant just as a possible lead but between all that has happened and the bit of Jade we have got we could maybe do with a day off.>>4820025I agree rest and maybe tie up the last possible lead we have.
>>4820032A knife in the heart, maybe? Tie him up and throw him overboard? But silver being silver, he blew his goddamn head off in the middle of the street. As in, like an exploding watermelon. In broad daylight.
>>4820021Support>>4820015>"Hey. Your brother is not there.">"H-Huh? Then where is he?">"Here.">Taking Parley off your back you quickly aim straight forward and shoot.Geeeez. Was "manslaughter" included in Silver's list of crimes yet?
>>4820015>Yeah. I don't feel like treasure hunting anymore. I just wanna rest.We already got our slab of jade, and that will be worth a decent bit. I say we just rest up, IC we know we're just one last step away from the New World.
>>4820036Silly Anon, we do that when we want to play with someone or send a message, this was just tying up loose ends and cleaning up behind ourselves. Unlike Cooper and his ilk we have manners.
>>4820054I don't disagree with what silver did, but he did it in a very, VERY silver-eque way.He didn't even bother to take him behind the shed. He did it with zero hesitation. He didn't care who was watching. Thus, "Holy shit."
>>4820054speaking of cleaning up we have to bury the corpses and find a way to not make this place a piracy hotbed because THAT LAST THING ANYONE WANTS IS BLACKBEARD CATCHING WIND OF THIS ISLAND

>>4820015>No way! That treasure is out there and it is MINE!Isn't there a super wapon in the whirlpool. Also didn't we loot the marines stash before burning it?
