It is a time of peace. With Lord Freeza’s explosive declaration, naming himself Emperor of the Universe after single-handedly obliterating the Covenant stronghold High Charity, peace has come to the universe. Not wanting to stand against him and his unstoppable Super Saiyans, within days of his declaration the universe bent the knee. And while there are always outliers, those stubborn or foolish enough to try and resist, the overwhelming majority of the universe is bending the knee. And he wouldn’t have achieved all this, defeated the strongest military in the universe and survived the Prophet’s ultimate weapon without your help.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, the story of an alternate timeline in the greater Dragonball EU. Currently it is Age 749 and you the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830 who has risen to become a mighty Super Saiyan, and so much more. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of Saiyan might and power recognized actoss the universe. Now as a PTO general with a powerlevel of over 34 million, and close friend and confidant of Lord Freeza himself, Karn has become his people’s greatest champion.

Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

While at the local mess hall discussing his plans for training the students going forward, a lone Covenant assassin appeared and tried to avenge the loss of his homeworld and death of the Prophets by assassinating Karn. After taking out the trash and finishing lunch everyone flew to the training grounds north of the city, only to be confronted by a four-armed fighter. Calling himself Goro, Prince of the Shokan people he challenged Karn, only to be quickly defeated. Training went off without a hitch, focusing on raising your students’ base powerlevels above all. Then after rescuing Broly from a Mindslayer and later discovering Okira’s silence is due to her tongue being a Stand called Imagine Dragon, Karn went for an early morning training session. And as we rejoin Karn, you have decided on your path to power.

“My Berserker form, that’s the transformation I’ll focus on.” you say to yourself. And it just feels right, little doubt in your mind that this is what you want to do. In fact, it’s the most certain you’ve felt about a decision since even before the last war. And you are ready to begin working on it right away. However, you do have to get your kids up, fed, and started on their own day first. Or do you? After all Meloka’s there with them, and is more than capable. After a moment you shake your head at the thought. You’ve spent long enough away from your kids thanks to the last war, and you’re not missing out now.

Anyways, thanks to Mechikabura’s timelines knowledge, you know that going right to Berserker 3 is something you could try right away. All you’d need are five willing Super Saiyans to join you in the Super Saiyan God ritual, and you have that just in your students. Not to mention your friends and family. However, judging from how draining your more ‘normal’ Super Saiyan 3 form is, perhaps you should focus on mastering it first? Controlling what is doubtlessly a lesser form of 3 will greatly improve your ability to handle it later. Or you could work on your Ascended Berserker form instead, maybe mastering the directly-previous form will make controlling the next that much easier? So many choices, but with the other obligations you’ve taken on can’t possibly go for them all at once.

So which will you choose?
>Focus on your more normal Super Saiyan 3 for now, until you can hold it for at least a whole day
>Fully master your Super Saiyan 3 before trying out the ritual
>Keep working on Ascended Berserker first, and really master it before trying to go for the form even further beyond
>Go right for Berserker 3 now, have King Vegeta, Meloka, Raven and Ubo all on standby to help control you should that rage prove overwhelming
>>
>>4736239
>Keep working on Ascended Berserker first, and really master it before trying to go for the form even further beyond
>Merge the calming meditation training Broly uses as we do so.
>>
Hmmm, before this thread I was thinking we'd hit up the SS3 mastery first. However, my biggest concern about reaching for Berserker 3 through the ritual is not being able to control the rage, and I think ascended berserker mastery might help more with that.
Saying "fuck it" and going for the ritual now is a surprisingly tempting option, I'm sure we could roll a 95 or something and avoid an absolutely catastrophic result, but nah.
>>
>>4736251
Yeah, same anon. Correct me if I'm wrong, but just last thread GD mentioned something along the lines of mastering SSJ3 to help us prep for berserk 3 didn't he? I may be imagining that but I thought I read something along those lines
>>

Either option is good, but have to pick which

>>
>>4736239
>>Focus on your more normal Super Saiyan 3 for now, until you can hold it for at least a whole day
Assuming this is the path that lets us use ssj3 without the stone, I'll go for this
>>
>>4736239
>Keep working on Ascended Berserker first, and really master it before trying to go for the form even further beyond
>>
>>4736257
>Mastering previous forms makes new forms easier to access and control, but isn’t entirely necessary. And mastering the non-Berserker option(in this case 3) will do the same.
You mean this quote from GD? I had skimmed over it by accident last thread. It does make Legendary 3 training seem more appealing, but I think ascended berserker mastery will be easier/quicker. If we're having too much trouble with Berserker 3 after that then we'll be in a better position to train Legendary 3 afterwards, anyways.

With your path forward decided you choose to not waste any time, clenching your fists and transforming in a burst of sparks. Your body expands into your larger Berserker form, lightning bolts dancing around your body as you fly. Yet almost immediately you close your eyes and begin suppressing your power, trying to power down as much as you can without actually dropping out of the transformation. However, your sudden explosion of strength caused you to fly much further across the planet than you’d anticipated. Opening your eyes and looking around for a moment confused, you find yourself out over the open sea, with no landmass in sight.

“Dammit, went too far.” you mutter, again closing your eyes to focus on your ki sense on your wife. And almost immediately you can sense Meloka, almost clean on the other side of the planet. So instead of turning around you simply keep going forward, and soon are blasting across the sky over the primal forest again. Blasting across the landmass you slow as you near your old ship, determined not to pass it by again, and begin descending towards it. Your feel land softly in the sand, barely kicking up a crater from your still-suppressed aura’s sheer force. But you can’t focus on that, as your instincts warn you someone’s watching. That familiar feeling of having a target on your back returns as you expand your ki sense, and don’t sense anything really out of the ordinary on the island. So you expand your range, and immediately sense more than a dozen unfamiliar ki signatures to your right.

Turning towards the open ocean you don’t immediately see anything but the waves, but they’re clearly there. Several creatures with a powerlevel in the mid-five figures, and one with a low six-digit powerlevel are all hiding in the shallows. You stare down at the sea, glaring down at where the strongest powerlevel is, but nothing immediately reacts. In fact you can’t see anything through the gently rolling waves. But you know they’re there. Which only leaves one question:

What do you plan on doing about this?
>Fire your Scattershot, but short to try and flush out whatever’s hiding there
>Scattershot, but aim for wiping out all of them immediately instead of simply showing you know they’re there
>Use you telekinesis, grab the strongest and pull it up out of the sea to see who’s spying on you
>Try and grab them ALL with your telekinesis, and lift them out of the sea
>Start walking right towards the strongest one, but unleash your aura to blast the waves away

No. You’re not playing around with these, whatever they are spying on you. So you quit restraining your power, letting your aura flare wildly as you begin walking right towards the strongest of them. With your emerald power wildly raging up and around you, the sea itself is blown back and away as you walk. Despite walking straight towards the water you remain completely dry, the storm brewing around your aura blowing it all away from you. After several steps you see a half-dozen of the crab people are suddenly blown up and into the air, clearly no longer able to hold themselves down. Seeing this you relax yourseld a bit, crossing your arms and letting the storm die down a bit. And sure enough, rising from the ground a few feet from you comes probably the largest crab person you’ve seen yet.

Unlike most of them with their more insect-like legs, this one stand tall on more human like hind legs. And you know that while appearing bigger is usually a sign of disrespect or intent to fight, with the crabs it is the opposite. With their heavily-armored shells on their back, hunkering down is how they show hostility. And exposing their more vulnerable undersides is a sign of submission, or at least nonaggression. So you let your powerful aura fade, the water slowly filling back in. And in a gesture of goodwill grab it’s falling compatriots with your telekinesis, setting them down gently instead of crashing to the ground before reaching out to the strong one’s mind.

“Why are you all spying on me?” you ask it bluntly, the water slowly filling back in most of the space around you and coming up to just over your waist.
“We meant no disrespect, vanquisher of Mindslayers.” it replies, also telepathically. Fortunately mental communication isn’t limited by languages, instead sharing thoughts and sometimes feelings through the link. “It was my idea to come here, and follow you on your hunt today.”
“Follow me? What for?” you ask, still suspicious but now have an idea of why they’re here.
“You have vanquished not one, but two Mindslayers.” the most powerful crab creature replies. “We wish to learn from you, and find out how you do it.”

“So you want to learn how I fight those things?” you say aloud, hand to your chin pondering. You could show them, but you had just told Meloka that taking the kids fishing would be halted until this Mindslayer problem was solved. Then again, teaching the crabs to hunt them down could lead to Mindslayer-free oceans much quicker.

What do you do?
>Agree, hunt down one for your family’s breakfast and wake them up to it

We did tell Meloka that no one should go into the depths before we figure this stuff out. I think we should just retell our fights with them, it's not like they'll be able to replicate karn's style if they see it in person as opposed to having it described.

“Until we get a handle on the situation, and can figure out what’s going on we’re staying out of the water.” you tell him telepathically, and the crab man almost visibly sags. “But maybe you can answer some of our questions about these things. I’ll tell you how to kill those monsters, if you tell me everything you know about them.”
“This is acceptable.” it replies, turning a bit to show you the left back side of it’s shell. And to your surprise see several symmetrical indentations, scars gained from fighting one of those things and surviving it’s bite. Judging from the scarring, had the creature fully bit down, it would have taken the crab man’s entire left arm and half of it’s upper body with that bite. But as it turns back around, you realize something confusing. There aren’t any bite scars across it’s vulnerable front. “Many years ago I battled these beasts, the last time they rose from the depths. And they’re just as fierce as I remember.”

“Wait, rose?” you ask it, confused. “Rose from where?”
“Those monsters, the Mindslayers, they come from the Abyss.” it answers, and for an instant you see a memory from this crabman’s mind. Deep underwater, on the far side of the planet from the continent, you see a chasm so deep no light can reach it’s depths. Then suddenly a giant Mindslayer rises from that abyss, psychic attack screeching out as it swims straight for you. Then the vision ends, you returning to standing by the crab man. “Those monsters aren’t of our world, beings belonging to a time long since past. But every few years, from that darkness they will rise and lay siege to our people. Most cannot resist their mental attacks, and are devoured.”

“Yet you can, clearly.” you reply, dozens of questions running through your mind. “Else you would have perished. How did you survive?”
“Like this.” it answers, and suddenly the crab man begins glowing. You don’t sense a real increase to his power, but the instant he does the mental link between you is severed and it feels like something in your mind snaps. Wincing, you feel a burning pain in your mind for a few seconds, the creature ending it’s glow. It tries gesturing to you, but not knowing how to telepathically communicate it isn’t able to restart your link. After a few seconds you reestablish the mental connection, the crab man apologizing profusely. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. I didn’t know it would hurt you as well.”
“What was that?” you ask, having never felt anything like that. It felt almost like touching an exposed live wire inside one of the Attack Pods, except the burning sensation was directly inside your mind and spine. “It hurt like hell.”

“This power awakened within me that day. And has allowed me to fight against those dark creatures more freely than my kin.” it answers, pointedly looking you up and down still in your Ascended Berserker form. “But that doesn’t make killing these beast easy. Yet you have already killed two. How do you do it?”
“Like this.” you reply, and grab ahold of him with your telekinesis. Before he realizes what’s happening you’ve lifted him clear over the water, over your head and dangling by your grip. “First I pull them from the water, so they cannot avoid my attacks. And that’s when they usually unleash their mental attack. Fighting through it, I then decapitate them like this.”

As you finish your sentence, lowering him back down you look around and find the bones of the one you’d killed yesterday gleaming through the water. Surprisingly none of the usual small fish are eating at the mostly-cleaned bones, the creature’s corpse as you’d left it. So you stretch out your left hand and telekinetically grab it by the stump of it’s neck, and start lifting it from the water. Then, after glancing to the special crab draw your right hand back, and fire off a Death Slash. Your blade of ki cuts clean through the bone, everything below the stump of the neck you’re holding splashing back down into the water. You then drop the spine chunk, and turn back to the crab man.

“And that’s about all there is to it.” you say, when suddenly something he said earlier clicks. “But I also have my sword, which if they’re real Dark creatures should be even more effective.”
“Wait, you found it?” the creature asks, eyes widening in surprise. “You found Darkslayer, the ancient blade wielded by the M’lurnian prince?”
“What does it look like?” you reply, and it sends another vision to you. You see one of the creatures carved on the walls in the ruins, swimming towards a Mindslayer with your sword enshrouded in that all-too-familiar azure glow. There’s no doubt about it, that’s your sword.

But do you admit it?

“Yeah, that’s the sword. I found it down there in an abandoned M’lurnian armory.” you answer him honestly. “Ever since that dragon woke up, and King Vegeta, Lord Freeza and myself all blasted it out into space, he’s kept the ruins locked down so no one can enter. “If you’re wanting to head down and search for something, I’m sure it can be arranged with-”
“No, that won’t be necessary.” he answers, holding up a claw like a ‘wait’ gesture. “And that is very wise of your king, best to keep their empire sealed away. Lest the Darkness sealed down there be roused.”

“If it acts up again, I know how to get ahold of someone to re-seal it.” you think to assure him. “He’s on my side, and wouldn’t endanger my home with something like that. But are you sure that it’s sealed? After the dragon woke up, the sentinels down there all seem to have activated as well.”
“The M’lurnian people were our allies, at least until that Dragon’s awakening.” it answers. You suddenly get the feeling he wants to say more about it, but all you get from him for several seconds are vague feelings of disgust. He then makes several odd clicking noises, before replying to you mentally. “But I thank you, on behalf of my kin for killing two of those Mindslayers. Should you decide to hunt down more of those beasts, I would be honored to lead you to that Abyss personally.”

“I might just take you up on that.” you answer, giving the warrior a Saiyan salute. And to your surprise he mirrors it before turning around, and swimming down beneath the waves. You sense his small group all going with him, leaving you standing alone in the shallows by your ship. Which you turn back to, yet before you can even get out of the water are guest to a surprising scene. A kid, probably no older than Chilli comes bolting out, something clutched close to her chest. And right on her heels is Silver’s ‘boy’, Jim. She doesn’t even notice you in her panic, and the moment she’s clear of the ramp immediately tries blasting off into the air. But Jim doesn’t let her go that easily, the living quicksilver boy’s arm rapidly thinning as he stretches his mass up after her.

“Three Steps!” she shouts, and for an instant you see an ephemeral figure appear behind her. Then suddenly the world changes. One instant she was about to be caught, Jim’s tentacle of a hand less than a foot away, and the next she’s suddenly a small distance further away from where she was further outside of Jim’s range. But not yours. Neither of them have seen you yet, so if you act you would have the element of surprise.

But what do you? What should you do?

Before either of them notice you, you decide to act decisively. Lifting your left hand you grab ahold of her ankle with telekinesis, stopping her in her tracks.

“Wha-Shit!!” she shouts, drawing a small Ki Blade with her left hand and twisting counterclockwise, ready to fight Jim’s grip. Instead she sees you, hand held up towards her, and freezes in place. The young girl’s eyes widen in surprise, panic clearly setting in as she again shouts for her Stand. “Three Steps!”

Her Stand appears beside her, a metallic green-looking humanoid being trimmed with gold, and large feet instead of hands. The Stand then blitzes down towards you, ready to punch-kick you. But without much effort copy what you’d done to the user, grabbing the Stand by it’s neck with your telekinesis as well. The approaching Stand lurches to an immediate stop, the girl gagging then coughing painfully. Damage to a Stand is transferred to the user, after all. And with both Stand and user now immobilized, you turn your head and focus on the boy Jim.

“Alright, so what’s going on?” you ask him. “What happened?”
“She stole-“ he starts, when suddenly your instincts ping back on the Stand user. Glancing away from Jim, you see her hands glowing with energy. But as she sees you notice what she’s trying to do immediately stops, and looks absolutely terrified of you.
“Go ahead.” you tell him, not averting your glare from the young Stand user. “What happened, Jim?”
“She stole that from Silver!” he says, sounding angry and turning from you towards her. “Give it back, you thief!”
“This is mine!” she shouts back at him angrily. “He stole this from my father, it doesn’t belong to him! It belongs to us!”
“Wait, us?” you ask, confused. But then suddenly you hear the familiar hobbled steps of the one-legged Silver on his crutch. All three of you turn, and see the assassin-turned-cook at the top of the ramp.

“She’s no normal kid Karn, stay on your toes.” Silver says seriously. “She’s Lin Kuei.”
“And you’re a damn traitor!!” she shouts, throwing something at him. But Jim interposes himself, the object striking his stretched out metallic body. And the moment it hits, Jim’s instantly frozen!
“What?” Silver says, clearly surprised, but you’ve had enough. Switching your grip you let go of the woman’s ankle, and instead telekinetically grab her by the throat and squeeze down. Her entire demeanor changes, hands instantly going to her neck to fruitlessly try and pry your grip off. You feel your rage surge, and immediately want to just end her. You don’t know what else her Stand can do, and knowing she’s a magical assassin only solidifies this desire.

But what do you?

You’ve had enough. Glaring at the young woman you pull her down to your level with telekinesis, her face close to yours. And despite not having learned Bane’s trick, you can still almost taste the fear coming off her as your grip tightens. She gasps once then can’t make another sound, your grip cutting off her air.

“Let me make one thing absolutely crystal clear.” you snarl, fury rising as you glare into her frightened eyes. “This world, MY world, is off-limits to all you would-be assassin Lin Kuei. You bastards come to my world, and you answer to me.”

You then toss her to the ground at your feet, keeping your grip form but no longer chokingly so around her neck, and turn your focus to Silver. Where you see Jim is slowly working free of the ice that’s bound him.

“She was here for you, so it’s your call.” you tell him, voice now calm and seemingly completely disinterested in her. “What do you want to do about this?”
“Keep her there for me, just a moment.” he says, hobbling over to the downed assassin. You see the fury in her glare towards him as the former Lin Kuei assassin approaches, but with your telekinetic force keeping her pinned flat down in the sand, she can’t exactly do much else. He reaches down, and when he’s picking up the object she dropped there beside her tries to make her last move. Suddenly her Stand is there, swinging for the side of Silver’s head. Shit, you’d got distracted and let it go! It’s going to-huh? Instead of kicking the side of an unaware Silver’s head, her Stand’s foot-hand instead kicks a very familiar looking golden wing.

“KIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!” Triumph caws, backwingedly swatting the Stand away from your cook. Turning around, you see Caulifla standing atop the entrance ramp, left hand glowing with unnatural, hungry-seeming energy while holding a lightning bolt overhead in her right.
“Don’t you hurt Silver!” she says, green eyes blazing with righteous fury. “Or I’mma hurt you back, worse!”
“Got what she tried to steal?” you ask, seeing Silver holding a small wooden, rectangular box. For a second you think he’s about to open it, but instead just sighs. Then to everyone’s surprise, even the Lin Kuei assassin’s, he simply drops it back on the ground by her.

“Take it. And tell your masters this is over between us .” he says, turning and hobbling back over towards the ramp. “I have no need of it now.”
“But dad-!” Jim starts, but Silver doesn’t even acknowledge him. Instead the old man hobbles back up the ramp, leaving you all looking at each other confused. What the hell just happened? Jim wordlessly follows Silver, throwing one last dirty look at the assassin before walking past Caulifla back into the ship.

Your daughter just looks lost, looking between the enemy’s Stand, the Lin Kuei, you, and the mysterious box. But your focus is on the assassin, who’s too stunned to go for the box herself. So you decide to take a peek, letting her go and using your telekinesis to pull the box up into your waiting hand. The assassin sees this and is immediately panicked as you open it. And inside the box is....an amulet. A golden amulet covered in decorative engravings, with a single cut emerald jewel in the center. You don’t feel anything special about it, looking at the object curiously a moment before turning to the assassin. And before you can ask her a question, Raven appears.

Stepping through one of her portals, you immediately know something’s wrong. Raven storms through in her demonic form, all four red eyes blazing. She immediately focuses on you and the box, and without a word fires a beam of her dark energy at it. Just what the hell is going on?!

I was gonna assume it just held sentimental value to the kid, but now that Raven's here, I can imagine it's actually pretty dangerous.

I assume she overheard something she shouldn't have back at the Lin Kuei's temple, or she has some kind of connection (metaphorical or literal) to the amulet.

Fair word of warning, if you're thinking about checking out the latest Godzilla movie, don't.
It's all the worst parts of the last two movies cranked up to 11 with inferior action sequences to either of them.
They also do Kong incredibly dirty for no fucking reason. They have him lose like 4 fights in a row despite having help from the humans and a kaiju sized axe.

As her dark energy flies at the box, suddenly your body moves. Whatever she’s doing is dangerous, and you don’t want hit by that. However, your sudden dodge means that her beam missed, narrowly sailing under your ship without hitting it either.

“Karn, drop that now!” she shouts, shocking you. And before you’ve even processed what’s going on, your body complies and drops the box. The golden amulet spills out, rolling across the sand, but before it could even make a single full turn towards the sea Raven fires again. And this time her dark energy finds it’s mark. The entire, normal Karn-sized medal is consumed, vanishing inside the beam of her magic.
“NOOOOO!!” the Lin Kuei shouts panickedly, obviously distraught at the thought of the medal being destroyed. But it seems her fears were unfounded, as Raven’s attack ends and reveals the object is still fine. In fact, it seems just a bit shinier than it was a few moments ago when you’d opened the box. However your view is obstructed by the woman, who dives on top of the artifact. Raven then immediately tries to use her powers on the young woman aside, but as her dark magic begins enveloping the Lin Kuei assassin, something in her changes.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=c7S0XowWdQE

Suddenly the temperature around you all seemingly drops at least thirty degrees, a layer of ice forming over the woman and Raven’s magic. She then slowly begins rising to her feet, frozen magic shattering as she stands. You see her right hand clutching the medallion is encased in a solid block of ice that’s radiating with an odd, red sparking aura. You can’t sense anything from it with your own senses, but judging from the change in her body language, whatever that amulet is has probably done something to enhance her abilities. Better stay on your toes.

“Dammit! Karn, that amulet is radiating with a LOT of divine power.” Raven says, clearly worried and not even trying to hide it. “And not from a benevolent one. We have to get that amulet from her, else who knows how much damage she can do?”
“Three Steps.” she says, her Stand reappearing at her back. It seems to be radiating with this energy as well now, and you doubt it wasn’t strengthened as well. “Get out of my way.”

Well? What do you do?

>Use your Super Ki Blade, and try to sever her arm encased in the ice. As she’s clearly not letting go of it

“That’s enough.” you say, and once more clamp down on her throat with your telekinesis. However, something’s wrong. The moment you do, you feel something unfamiliar on your hand. And looking down, your entire right hand is somehow encased in ice! “What the-?!”
“GET OUT OF MY WAY!!” she roars, temperature dropping even further as you’re immediately encased in a solid block of ice! Your entire body is frozen, unable to act and forced to watch as Raven takes on this threat. Fortunately the ice seems to have no grip on New Salda’s Guardian, who immediately gathers hellish flames around herself.

“TRIUMPH!!” your daughter shouts, voice muffled by the ice. But you see her flames burn towards the woman, yet just as they strike her they freeze. Fire. Freezes. If you could move your jaw would hit the floor, somehow that amulet has turbocharged the Lin Kuei’s magic! You watch in horror as the ice begins surging back towards your daughter, unable to do more than watch. Yet Raven saves her, her dark magic enveloping your daughter and teleporting her to her side. “Huh? Wha-?”

“Save your father.” she orders, focusing her full attention on the assassin. “Leave her to me.”
“R-Right!” Caulifla says, flying straight up into the air with her Stand. The assassin’s gaze follows, and that’s when Raven strikes. Without hesitation Raven blinks across the distance between them, and lands a tremendous turning right kick to the side of the assassin’s head. Just as you’d taught her, way back when helping her learn to use her body again. As Raven’s blow launches the woman away from you, you feel a spark of pride swelling in your chest. And after throwing a momentary glance your way Raven then launches herself after the assassin. Caulifla lands behind you, and with flaming sword in hand begins hacking at the ice encasing you. But her blade isn’t hot enough, barely scratching the surface of the iceberg you find yourself in. “C’mon daddy, you gotta be okay! We need you!”

“Stand back kiddo, I have an idea.” you think to her. And as she does you transform back down out of your Berserker form. Suddenly you’re no longer frozen in place, instead able to freely move inside a frozen area nearly twice your normal size. So you curl up, crossing your arms, then throw your limbs outward as you transform again. Ice shatters, and you explode out of your frozen coffin with a triumphant roar. “GRRRRRROOOOOAAAAAAAAR!!”

“Get back to the ship kiddo.” you tell Caulifla, lifting your right hand and gathering your ki. “It’s dangerous out here.”
“But what about-?” she starts, you turning to her and giving her a look. She sees this and immediately rushes off, knowing to listen when you’re this serious. And with your daughter rapidly moving out of harm’s way, it’s time for you to end this. Gathering and shaping the ki in your right hand, you form your powerful Energy Javelin.

Meanwhile, Raven has the Lin Kuei’s assassin fully on the defensive. She’s firing off powerful strike after powerful strike, her body seemingly immune to the Lin Kuei’s ice as she uses the Su Ma technique. And, much as it surprises you, her technique is far better than your own. Each spin and flip is seemingly perfect, almost as if the late Guardian himself is guiding her movements. After taking a powerful kick right to the teeth an instant after getting elbowed in the back of the head, the Lin Kuei assassin screams. As she bellows in pain and anger, her own body is encased in a protective glacier. Raven is forced back away from her to not get frozen as well, and that’s when you strike.

“HAAAAA!!!” you roar, launching the javelin right for her. And now that she’s an immobile target can’t avoid your attack, and even as it freezes midair you know your attack will work. Frozen or not your lance of power flies true, the ice around it shattering against her armor as your javelin keeps going. You watch as your lance pierces right through the woman’s right elbow, then raise your arms to shield your face. As you know what happens next.

BOOM

Your Energy Javelin explodes, detonating the iceberg and sending razor-sharp shards flying in all directions. Several slash your body, more than a dozen lodging into you in various places. After the shards stop slashing you you lower your arms, and see the results of your attack.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” the woman cries out in agony, clutching the stump of her arm. The glacier is completely destroyed, and her arm is seemingly just gone. But the amulet is flying through the air, and Raven immediately moves for it. She creates a pair of her portals, one above her hand and the other below the amulet, but what happens next surprises you. The golden amulet passes right through the portal as if it wasn’t even there, falling straight through it to land in the sand beside the crying woman. Raven is just standing there, seemingly completely shocked as her portal failed, and not moving towards the artifact. So you move, rushing forward when suddenly another portal opens right behind the woman.

“Well now, what’s this?” an unfamiliar figure says, stepping through the greenish magic portal. “Thank you, mortals, for finding my amulet. And farewell.”

Interesting. I have been thinking about the future too. Some time from now Zamasu will look at what is happening in Univerese 7 and sees:
>Kars
>born as member of one of the mortal races
>immortal now
>Has God Ki
> in training to become Supreme Kai.
>Meloka
>Super Saiyan Goddess
>Chaya
>Was given DDF's God Ki by Mechikabura
> I assume she will make it and learns to hold on to it and make it her own like Goku did after Super Saiyan God ritual.
>She will be another mortal with God Ki.
>There is possibility that we may perform SSG ritual on someone else too, so maybe this will mean that there will be more Saiyans with God Ki.
>Chilli
>mortal wielding Death Magic
>given to him by god Jergal
>with goal to kills deities who live too long.
>Karn
>with his failed Super Saiyan God ritual and his unique Berserker God transformation.
>Probably if Zamasu learns more about the nature of Berserker God he would dislike it even more.
All of this will trigger Zamasu so hard. Our timeline has solid chance to make the angriest, most ningen hating and zealous Zamasu of all timelines that had ever been.
>I know this is not Universe 7 anymore but if he somehow manages to see Jiren too, mortal stronger than his own universe's Destroyer. Zamasu's anger will be legendary.
>>
>>4740780
>born as member of one of the mortal races
I don't know that I would call the original unaltered pillar man race mortal. They live for ungodly amounts of time even without the masks changing them.
Kars was born in 100,000 B.C. and only started making masks 8,000 B.C.

True. They were something else, unusual among the races that live, yet they were still alive beings not undead, so I called them mortals. I mean they technically were just another type of ningen in the eyes of Zamasu.

Forgot to mention, that Freeza will also get way stronger than what Zamasu sees as an acceptable power a ningen should have.

We still haven't named this:
>Unnamed move: Final Flash+Piercing Fist- Gather your ki similarly to Final Flash, except spin it before slamming your hands together, causing the two energies to twist together and form a spiraling, piercing lance of unstoppable energy. Pierces through all forms of armor, energy attacks, and barriers; deflecting their energy away from the user and allowing the attack to travel unimpeded.
Maybe "Spiral Death Lance"?

Reminder that it's still a mystery who has hacked Vox's base on Hive's home world allowing aliens to get in undisturbed by defense systems and attack most kids in their sleep.

It would be nice to meet Leyas and Sarada again. Last meeting did not go smooth, so maybe this time we would just have a nice sparring fight and see how strong they are.

I actually got an idea for that.
This is gonna sound kinda corny, but what about "Revolution"?
It's pretty simple and easy to remember for one thing.
There's a nod to how the technique is performed in the name.
And the other definition of the word fits thematically with one of Karn's biggest goals; dismantling the current divine hierarchy.

>>4739736
We’re at a point in the story now where the main plot won’t reappear until you “level up” as it were. So now is the time to grind out side quests for potential loot, experience, and perhaps most importantly of all new allies.
And that’s what’s so fun. Without a description, who knows WHO just showed up?
>>4740780
First, saved. Nice.
And yes, any Zamasu who sees your timeline would be immensely upset. But also have to play his cards VERY carefully. As he would see Karn, Meloka, and perhaps others *cough Freeza cough* fighting against Beerus and showing their power.
And that’s the one thing SDBH did that impressed me. Jiren vs Fused Zamasu happens and shows the power gap between them. Exactly as most would have expected.
>>4740929
They are mortal. Hell, some turtles live for centuries. Or just look at how long something like Freeza’s clan’s lifetime is.
>>4740949
Naming that attack will be an option soon, I haven’t forgotten about it. Especially since it’s one of Karn’s current big three attacks. That, Red Dawn, and Event Horizon of course.
>Reminder that it's still a mystery who has hacked Vox's base on Hive's home world allowing aliens to get in undisturbed by defense systems and attack most kids in their sleep.

>>4745990
Let’s be fair, at the time their relationship wasn’t anywhere near good. Speaking of, well.... Meloka hasn’t had to share for awhile now.
>>
>>4746023
>Karn, Meloka, Frieza, Ubo, and King Vegeta IV
VS
>Goku, Canon Vegeta, Super Broly, Canon Frieza, Buu (in shape)
Rules are as follows
>No Killing
>No ring-outs
>No fusions or absorption
>Go till knock-out or forfeit
Assuming all fighters are fresh from their respective ToP, which team is more likely to win?
>>
>>4746060
The canon team because you didn't rule out any healing beams, and unless you can ring him out or kill him, Buu is basically undefeatable with those rule sets.
>>
>>4746060
Depends on too many factors to determine. In a free-for-all >>4746077’s right, as Buu is all sorts of broken. But if we’re going with 1v1s, Destroyer-tournament rules, it would come down to matchups. DBS Broly isn’t a threat, as he takes time to power up and would be easily ko’d before he got dangerous. And Buu would be asleep, because Toei couldn’t figure out how to utilize him. Like poor Gohan. But Goku does have far greater potential for Ultra Instinct to activate
>>

>>4746828
>Lesson 12: Poisoning them before they can poison you.
Whenever you're cooking for any big names, always leave a special dish off to the side. Make this dish smell as good as possible, extremely tempting to anyone that has a nose - and make it look delicious as hell even while it's cooking. Spike that with your own poison.
9/10 times, the would-be assassin can't resist giving it a taste out of curiosity or spite or what-have you, so they poison themselves and die before they can poison your customers.
>>
>>4746828

>>4748663
Perhaps you could ask Emilia about which ones would be best? And which ones she and Vegeta have discovered Saiyans are naturally resistant or weak to as well?
>>
>>4748675
>Emilia's attempts at homemade cooking were just toxicity trials on Saiyan physiology
But for real though, I would like to brush up on Toxicology in the future.
Ideally we'd also see if we couldn't try to build up a resistance to some of the more commonly specialized poisons, but that would take a while I assume.
>>
>>4748682
In her defense, as his bodyguard she needed to know what he is resistant to, as well as what he is weak against. However she wouldn’t lie about her intentions, and despite Galick’s protests King Vegeta went through with it. And thanks to these trials(and we’re going a bit OOC for this one) the hospitals and even most restaurants are stocked for the worst, fastest poisonings. Saiyan biology, while not anywhere close to Freeza’s level, is still very resistant. I mean, look at some of what they’ve eaten in alien ecosystems with no naturally-developed resistances to local flora and fauna

Wouldn't it be faster to just use Wish from Divine Dragon Force? "Make me immune to poisons" Maybe phrase in some nice way so it would also make Karn immune to drinking/eating anything lethal including for example "lava", just in case. I wonder if that wish would be difficult for DDF.
>>
>>4748975
I have to imagine a large part of Saiyan's being more resistant to ingested poisons has to do with the fact that the acid in their stomachs will break down almost any substance in a matter or minutes.
>>
>>4748978
that's a solid idea for a wish, if we're going to try to guard against poison then that's probably a better idea than trying to build a tolerance and maybe weakening ourselves/hurting our ability to train while we attempt it.

If Darth Traya knew about that technique, you can bet your ass Darth Bane would have mastered it too.

Generally speaking, if Karn saw a blast flying at him, would he not just make a barrier anyways?

That gif is amazing, I need some sauce. What animator got away with that? Anyways:
>How popular is the Ginyu Force? What are their reactions when they see their fans pose like them?
Not as much as Chaya and Karn’s family, but they do have a dedicated following. And always excited, although Ginyu will physically correct people until their pose is exactly right. Then compliments them again, and tells them to keep at it.

So fellas, we've all been shooting the shit with each other for a long time in these post-episode weekdays. Let's share some stories, bond a little more.
What are your best and most memorable tabletop moments?

Finding out a Level 15 Wizard who was also a leader of a band of wizard thieves *wizards who were thieves, not thieves who stole wizards to be clear*, a Level 12 Necromancer, a instructor for the Academy who'd been killed, ressurected, mind controlled, and illusioned to be still alive and a Partially Ressurected Sun Eating Giant was about to invade the magical academy we were all studying at during the summer solstice.

The Academy had a mutli level crystal dungeon that spawned monsters that was used as a training ground for the wizards, investigated it, found The Piped Pipper at the bottom and a bunch of mindcotrolled monsters.

5D chessed The Pipper and forcibly teleported him into a five sided fuck box and knocked him the fuck out.

He rolled shit on interrogation resistance, and a crit on plot knowledge, so we figured out the entire general attack plan, and the Wizard Thief Albedos entire spell/ability list.

The attacking force got BTFO'd by the guards, the Necromancer got smacked in the face by the dick of a visiting Muscle Cleric who was teaching classes, and his old headmaster the man in charge of the academy. The giant got jumped by a Dragon which got wrecked even with it having a Dragon Slayer Spear.

Albedo saw which way it was going, went to the bottom of the crystal labyrinth to GTFO, but we were waiting, with his teleporation array already shut down, and once he arrived a runic deathmatch triggered, forcing him to have to kill all 7 of us to almost escape.
>>
>>4751137
We were all Level 8 at the time, and completely over our head, but we'd planned everything personally. Albedo use 'Thieft Magic' where he could steal things, weapons, armor, space to basically sight range teleport, energy around him and energy attacks to restore his own spell slots, ect.

We fought him, got our ass kicked, the local wizard/assassin we recruited cast an unholy empowerment spell on all of us, Albedo YOINKED it and fell for our Keikaku.

Since he stole the Unholy enforcement spell, he now counted as Unholy, and our two strongest party members proceeded to pull out the secret holy spear and holy fires they'd been hiding this entire time, procced every ability they had, and thanks to the Holy to Unholy Damage multiplier....they managed to kill him.

Then his resurrection item went off.

Which we knew about and planned for.

We didn't know that he could also steal the power of the attack that killed him and go into a temporary super mode.

Thaaaaaaaats when things fell apart very quickly.

Very naice.
Mine was when my character absorbed the final-boss super-wizard's powers at the climax with a wish and survived it but only because drow canonically have an effectively infinite capacity for arcane energy, for some reason. Not sure why that's a thing but thanks WotC.
Always feels godly to have all your plans fall into place and work out exactly as you intended.
>>
>>4751141
Our other new Wizard party member managed to forcibly teleport his spear/stave into another plane, and Albedos big Fuck You Spell, but after that he was tapped and got knocked to negatives.

Albedo tried to wide orbital bombard us after that, but one character could relfect 3 magical spells within 2 spell slots of his highest spell slot a day, and once we procced it the first time and Albedo nearly killed himself with his own attack, he proceeded to summon a sword from his bag of holding and started stabbing us to death.

The rest of the party followed in short order save for our strongest two.

They proceeded to use their hidden Ace, and become a being a pure holy fire, and the holy spear went into a super mode and they started going mano a mano.

It was going pretty well...until spear bois timer went out, and got dropped into the negatives the round after.

So now its Albedo and a walking mass of holy fire ala the Human Torch both on deaths door and decide for the final round.

Albedo puts everything hes got left into a single lunge with his spear even burning some of his lifespan for it.

The human shaped mass of holy fire....turned into a wizard shaped mass of holy fire and waited there.

Albedo stabbed...and his attack reflected back on him, and he proceeded to blow his heart and half his chest out, since Wizard Mode was a single turn buff to all that guys magical abilities but it immediatly ended his super mode the turn after.

So Albedo is standing here, half his chest miss, looking up as the wizard floated above him, hold a fucking holy sun in his hand, and he tries for one more attack.

He fails as The Sun falls, is turned to ashes in the wind, and the sun burrows through the ground and nearly kills everyone when it goes off.

Our last guy collapsed, we were recovered a couple minutes later by some faculity, and spent the next week healing from that.

But we were happy with that. We nearly lost it all and TPK'd but we 5D chessed that fight and won when it should have been impossible. The DM started clapping for us when we pulled it off because we played it Perfectly. No fight in that campaign, and there were ALOT, ever matched up to the perfect planning boner we had from the Albedo fight and watching it work mostly as we thought it would.

>be me, 15 or 16, can't remember exactly
>first time at the table, heard my brother was playing and got invited to join
>fumble through character creation
>head to friend's house for my first session
>I play Life Domain Cleric and didn't read the rules
>Piledrive a Goblin headfirst onto a rock, killing him instantly
>have to rules lawyer my cleric powers back
>fast forward
>we get to a bar, obviously the hub for the campaign
>my brother's character, a ranger, sleeps behind the bar with his dog
>the rest of the party gets into a bar fight
>we're winning pretty easily
>smoke starts pouring in, ceiling is on fire for no reason
>Ranger thought we were losing when he looked through the back window and tried to make diversion for us
>said diversion was throwing a torch at the thatched roof and lighting the bar on fire
>half our group ends up getting arrested by the Order of the Gauntlet
>the other half decide to go break into some poor woman's house and beat her over the head with her own stuff
Other highlights include
>Ranger almost wiping the whole party by trying to tame a bear
>Ranger causing a nice old woman to faint by botching a game of Wiliiam Tell with a bandit in plain view
>Shooting a Vampire in the chest with a magical mace fired out of an artillery cannon, killing him instantly
>turning a Goblin into THE CHOSEN ONE with every buff we could give and watching him slaughter an entire encampment by himself
Pretty good for my first campaign, ngl.

I mean he died right after, but not before outright killing every other goblin.
What we did was this
>create cloud of mist
>beckon goblin over
>use thaumaturgy to do voice effects
>pretend we're some Goblin God
>every party member passes the stealth check to put a hand to his back and put on a buff
>give him a random +1 sword we had, make it glow
>claim it's a legendary artifact
>tell him the camp is full of heretics and must be purged
He will be missed.

Most of my experience was on the other side of the dm screen, as you could probably tell, but I do have a funny story. Low level players attacking goblins in a ruined castle, one’s on the wall trying to throw a javelin. A 1 later the wall crumbled as he stepped forward to throw, and tumbled down. The next time this player tried to throw the javelin rolled another one, and instead of the enemy hit his cleric in the back instead. And that’s how the Cursed Javelin was born

Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After Karn had decided his future, and chosen which way to take his Berserker training, he came face-to-face with one of the crab folk who’d survived battling the Mindslayers years ago thanks to developing an anti-psychic ability that even affects telepathy. After speaking with him you’d then witnessed a would-be Lin Kuei assassin trying to escape with something of Silver’s which turned out to be a powerful magical artifact. But after defeating her, and before you or Raven, or even the injured girl could retrieve it, a new player has entered the scene. Now as we rejoin Karn, it seems the battle for Silver’s amulet is just getting started.

“Well now, what’s this?” an unfamiliar figure says, stepping through the greenish magic portal. Well, stepping through may be the wrong word for it. The speaker appears humanoid, but is a squat green creature sitting in some sort of mechanical rolling chair with many legs. “Thank you, mortals, for finding my amulet.”

As he’s saying this, you notice a disturbingly familiar mark on the being’s forehead. It looks like a calligraphic, stylized “M” standing out on proud display. And you know exactly what that mark means. Babidi’s got this creature under his control. So you waste no time, and immediately dash at the creature.

“Karn wait!” Raven shouts, but too late. However it seems this goblin-looking creature was ready, snapping his fingers as he flips what looks like medallion of some dark metal in his hand. Yet as his fingers snap, the medallion changes. Before your very eyes it morphs, changing into a silvery sphere. And the moment it does, a blue beam is fired from the orb right at you! It moves too fast to dodge, striking you right in the chest painlessly. However, for the second time today, you’re completely covered in a layer of ice. However this icy attack is far weaker than the amulet-boosted one earlier, and after a moment of focus shatter your frozen prison with an Explosive Wave.

“HAAAAA!!” you roar, ice shards flying everywhere. But in those moments he’d already thrown several more discs, each one morphing into different things. An engraved metalwork creature, made of some dark, steely material with a bird-like head stands next to a similar creature made of a silvery, almost liquid-looking metal. Three orbs of different colors are now orbiting his head as well, and you get the feeling they’re some sort of defensive construct, probably against magic. But more terrifying that all of that is the giant, metallic dragon that has somehow appeared behind him.

“GWRRRRROOOOOOAAAAAAAAR!!”
cont
>>
>>4751983
“Ah, shit.” is all you have time to say, as it immediately belches forth a column of fire at you. But as it does you lift your left hand, and release your ki. The emerald sphere of your Barrier solidifies around you just as the flames hit, the scorching attack thankfully not immediately piercing the shield. But it quickly heats up, you feeling yourself starting to sweat. Luckily before it begins cooking you through your shield the attack ends, you making a mental note that just because your shield stops fire, it doesn’t stop all that heat. Something to improve on later.

“What? Still alive?” he asks, seemingly genuinely shocked. “You’re tougher than I thought.”
“I’m as tough as they come.” you reply, flaring your emerald aura up again. But what do you do? He has several beings between the two of you, and something about the darker bird-looking metal hominid makes you think it’s a lot tougher than it appears. But you can’t just let him have that medallion. Can you?

Well? What’s the plan?
>Rush and attack, bulldoze your way through those machines and beat him down
>Super Ki Blade and rush in, cut down his mechanical toys that try and stop you before decapitating him too
>Let Raven handle the green wizard, while you focus on keeping his machines from directly attacking her
>Have Raven shield the ship and your family, then unleash your Red Dawn on him and his mechanical creatures to exterminate them all
>Rush forward and grab the medallion immediately, then try to defend yourself. Don’t risk letting him or any of his metal creatures grab it first
>Let him have it, then the moment he’s distracted by it try and end him

“Raven, I’ll guard you.” you say, taking a half-step to the left to move in-between Raven and the green guy with his toys. “I’ll take the toys, the wizard’s all yours.”
“Thanks, just what I always wanted.” she says in her usual disinterested monotone. “A green midget with attitude.”
“The two of you think you can defeat me?” he asks, again tossing two medallions in the air and snapping his fingers. And as he does one transforms into a giant humanoid machine, easily taller than even your Berserker form and the other becomes a giant mechanical wurm. It doesn’t move forward normally, instead spiraling it’s body in rotation towards you. “Destroy them!”

“Grrraaaaaaaa!!” you roar, firing a beam from your right palm right down the mecha wurm’s throat. Several small explosions rock it from the inside, and as your beam travels down it the wurm splits into two! “What the?”
“HAAA!” the golem roars, and to your shock see it throwing the dragon right at you!
“Dammit!” you seethe, planting your feet and catching it. The dragon hits with such force you slide back several feet, but you still managed to stop it short of hitting Raven. Glancing you see the two wurms spiraling towards you, one glowing and one not, so you decide to use his own tactics against him. “GRRAAAAAA!!”

While roaring you toss the dragon back, it slamming into the glowing wurm and colliding with a titanic crunch. Both machines go down, as the other wurm keeps rushing you. But it’s too slow, you gathering ki into your left hand then firing a Scattershot right down the machine’s throat. Your blasts detonate all down the length of his half-wurm, it exploding from all the blasts.

“KIIIIIIIIIII!!” a familiar bird like call echoes out, sounding quite similar to Triumph, but to your surprise it isn’t from Caulifla’s Stand. Instead you see a flaming bird fly from over the wizard’s head at you, but before you can react Raven interferes. As it flies suddenly a similar bird of pure darkness appears between you and it, it meeting the bird head on and the two detonate in a mix of fiery and dark energies. As they explode you notice a flash of bronze out of the corner of your eye, turning and seeing a much-smaller bird flying low and trying to reach the medallion. But you see it, point your left index finger and fire your Death Beam. Your energy pierces right through it’s head, the machine crashing lifelessly to the ground and sliding through the sand to a stop.
“Hmph. Nice try.” you mutter, turning back towards the mage. And that’s when you see what he’d been working on.
cont
>>
>>4752226
Instead of standing with the smaller creatures around him and the one golem behind him, the green wizard is now surrounded by several strong-seeming machines. The two titanic golems, one platinum and the other colored a dark red and black flank the wizard. But between you and him are several beetle-like creatures, each one ejecting several flying shapes from it’s back before collapsing lifelessly to the ground. But what’s more terrifying is the giant ball of those metallic, bird-humanoid creatures forming behind them all. It gets larger and larger by the second, more and more piling onto the sphere

“Dammit.” you mutter, then suddenly your instincts scream at you in warning. Looking up, you see a mass of metal dropping down towards you both, seemingly coming in from space. “SHIT!”

Throwing your arms wide you gather your ki, then slamming your palms together and firing your powerful golden beam with a roar of “FINAL FLASH!!”

Your destructive wave explodes from your hands, blasting up and consuming the dropping meteor before it can get close to hitting.

“Your resistance is futile!” the wizard shouts, pointing at you and firing a bolt of crimson lighting. But it diverts from you at the last second, you glancing over your shoulder to see it being absorbed into a dark mass between Raven’s hands. “What?!”
“Hmph. You’re not much of a threat without your toys.” Raven says aloud, then telepathically to you. “Best create your Barrier.”
“Barrier!” you say, creating your emerald shield around you.
“This ends now.” Raven says, throwing the dark mass into the air up and between the three of you. “Dark Magic: Damnation.”

The darkness suddenly shines with a blindingly bright purple light, and everything outside your shield vanishes. You can’t see anything beyond the confines of your shield, everything consumed by that purple and black energy. But after several seconds the darkness fades, and to your shock see his mechanical creatures are unharmed! And not only that, the wizard is covered in a liquid-seeming dark metal and behind him rests a tower made of the same dark metal. In fact all of his metal creatures have changed into that darker, no doubt stronger metal.

“Wh-What?” Raven says, confused and slightly panting from the exertion. “How?”
“Darksteel. This metal is completely indestructible.” the green wizard says smugly. “No matter how much magical power you throw at it, you can’t break it.”

“Well then, lucky me I won’t have to break it.” you say, lifting your right hand and grabbing the green creature’s throat with your telekinesis. “I’ll just kill you instead.”

And then with an effort of will, snap his neck. Or at least tried to.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=tNW9lmujZxU

As your telekinetic grip goes through the motions, something goes wrong. You feel it snap, the creature’s neck barely any effort to break. But the moment it does, a faint white light envelops both him, and the more platinum-seeming golem. And right there in your grip you feel his neck un-break, returning to normal.

“What?” you say, shocked, as the green creature smirks at you. “H-How?”
“Platinum Emperion. Never leave home without it.” the green creature says smugly. “As long as it’s here, I cannot die. And with it now made in Darksteel as well, it cannot be destroyed either! You cannot hope to stop me now!”

He then flips another medallion in the air, it morphing into an angelic being made of both platinum and Darksteel. You then hear a cry, turning and seeing the would-be Lin Kuei assassin grabbed by a pair of those birdlike humanoids.

“So, it looks like you have two options, mortals.” the creature says, sounding completely relaxed and at ease, completely in control of the situation while flipping a medallion over and over. “Either hand me that medallion there, and I’ll let you live. Or, you can keep resisting me. And, well....”

As he says this, he snaps his fingers and the medallion transforms into a slim knife. Around it appears a menacing, spiked bluish aura. And without hesitation flips it to the giant reddish golem, who pitches it at the assassin. Before you even realize what you’re doing your body just moves, catching the blade by it’s handle.

“Poor decision.” he says, snapping his fingers again. And you feel the knife change, transforming into another of those birdlike monsters. But you see it has long, razor-sharp slashing claws that lunges for your neck.
“BAAAAAA!!” you roar, firing a Mouth Blast and blasting it away from you. The creature smashes into the ground, and you turn back towards the wizard just in time to see the giant ball of smaller artifact creatures rolling towards you. Without hesitation you gather your ki into an Energy Javelin, and toss it right at the ball’s center. Your spear pierces deep into it, and after two seconds or so the whole ball explodes. Metal birdlike humanoids fly out in every direction from you, reducing the heavy machine ball into a rain of scrap metal people.

>>
>>4752525
“You really are determined to do this the hard way, aren’t you?” he asks, snapping his fingers. And before your eyes each one of the birdlike creatures begins transforming. They all quickly change into giant, sparking golems that, as soon as they all reach full size, flames explode out from them all.
“Barrier!” you shout, creating your shield around yourself again just before the flames slam into you. Your shield keeps the flames from dousing you, heating up but not scorching you, and after several seconds the flames end. You lower your shield, and find your entire island and the shallows around it covered in titanic-scaled machine men.

“Don’t say I didn’t give you a chance.” the green, metal-covered wizard says feigning disappointment. “Kill them all.”

Well, what now?

Well this has gotten out of hand.

This is a tough one. I was considering this since even Frost could use it without seemingly any training, it amplifying her natural skills:
>>Grab that medallion yourself, but try using it's power to wreck this wizard.
But probably it maybe a tit risky. >>4752603

Though I advise giving Shinnok's amulet to Raven, not tossing it, so nobody can intercept the throw.
>>
>>4752621
Ah, another thing I realized but forgot to mention is I figure there's a reason Raven hasn't tried to use the amulet herself, or touch it. There's a chance since she's half demon she's incompatible with the divine amulet, which would explain why she was in demon eye mode beyond being in a hurry
>>
I did not vote for Instant Transmission to space, because he just used portal magic to get here, so maybe he would just teleport back on New Salda few moments later.

“You know what? Your army is the toughest I’ve ever faced.” you say, raising your arms slowly towards over your head. “Honestly, I don’t think I can beat them.”
“Karn? What are you doing?!” Raven shouts, almost panicking.
“Look, I know how well you’ve prepared for this.” you say, still addressing the wizard instead of her. “With your army here, I doubt we can defeat you.”
“Hmph. For a monkey, you show some intelligence.” the wizard says, bringing his hand to his chin. “And you’re clearly powerful, perhaps I could take you on as a lackey?”

And the moment he looks down, pondering, you move. With your right hand up you bring it to your forehead, focusing on the wizard’s tiny, odd ki. And with a small bit of effort teleport, your Instant Transmission taking you right behind the green-skinned wizard. Before he even knows what’s happening you’ve grabbed his entire head from behind.

“Wha-?!” he starts, confused as you immediately turn and throw the wizard with the full power of your Ascended Berserker form.
“GRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, launching him straight into the air. Your throw packs so much power it makes several sonic booms as he flies straight into the air and right out of New Salda’s atmosphere. Immediately both large golems’ fists slam into you, one on the back of the head and the other into your chest. However their punches don’t pack near the punch you’d feared, and don’t so much as budge you. So you grab each of them and spin, launching the golems in different directions. Both slam into other giant golems, knocking several of the titanic beings down in a domino effect out from you. But that doesn’t stop the rest, who all begin their stomping rush right at you. The first one closes the distance and swings a giant fist down at you, you planting your feet and catching it in both hands. “Tch!”

Those duplicate golems that burst into flames pack a surprisingly stronger punch than the other two, the ground cracking beneath your feet as you catch the fist and stop it’s power. Before another one closes the distance you spring upwards, throwing the fist back and launching yourself up off the ground. “Up here you bastards!”

And while you’d hoped to pull their attention off of Raven potentially, unfortunately you’d underestimated what they can do. And as one, all the still-standing golems raise their right hands towards you, and unleash a storm of magical flames right for you

“Shit! BARRIER!!” you shout, once more creating your emerald shield around yourself. But you don’t make the small one, with a bit of effort expand it out to nearly double it’s normal size. The abnormal fires dance around your shield, and with the expanded size of your shield don’t immediately feel yourself cooking.
cont
you’ll see why this pic is important in a moment
>>
>>4752912
The flames pour on for several seconds, then finally end suddenly. You sigh out, seeing them all below you, and drop your shimmering shield. Then immediately you hear an odd groaning, almost like metal shearing apart. Looking around you see Raven, conjuring a beam of light from the heavens on the tower. Her light consumes the tower, and as it does that dark metal disappears from the creatures below you.

“Hurry Karn, take them out now!” Raven shouts up at you. “Before that wizard comes back!”
“HAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, gathering your ki into both hands then tossing a pair of Scattershots down. Your blasts explode, destroying at least a dozen of the giant machines below you.

“You-! What did you do?!” the wizard reappears back down on the ground beside his chair. Without that indestructible metal armor around him, this is your chance! You have to end him now! So you raise your right hand to your forehead, and again teleport. This time you appear right in front of him, and swing for his head. But instead of trying to dodge he attempts to block, lifting a small glass-looking statue between you.
“Karn, wai-!” Raven shouts, as your fist strikes the statue. It shatters, and as it does everything vanishes. Your body feels like it’s tearing apart, your insides pulled out and your mind both expanding and contracting simultaneously. Your senses are overwhelmed, positive and negative emotions all surge through you. This void you find yourself in seems kind of familiar, but instead of the peaceful void you’ve woken up into before is replaced by this terrible place. All you can clearly see through all the distortion around you is your own body, and to your horror you’re falling apart! Your body seems to be swiftly dissolving into nothing in this void! What’s worse is you don’t feel it, in fact you don’t feel anything from it. You’re dying!

But what can you do about this?

“Dammit! I’m not staying here!” you think to yourself, trying to focus your ki sense. But as you do your senses are scrambled, as if surrounded by millions of beings all at once, but also completely alone. You can’t get a solid reading on anything here, and feel yourself getting more and more anxious as your senses continue being mixed around. And in just a half a dozen seconds’ time, your hands and half your forearms have fully fallen apart. It’s a terrifying sensation, watching your body fall apart and not bleeding or anything. You are just falling to dust. “No! Dammit, no! Not like this!”

And suddenly, you feel something grab you. It feels like a hand just reached into your chest, and pulled it right out of you. However your body suddenly feels like it’s flying backwards, and slams into a wall tougher than anything you’ve ever hit.

“Guh!” you wheeze, crashing to the ground and slamming a fist down to stop yourself. The stone shatters under the impact, and rising to your feet find yourself in the middle of a battlefield. Before you are blue crystalline zombies wielding golden weapons. And behind them is the giant forms of a reptilian creature of that same blue material. “What the hell?”
“It is good to see you, Godslayer Karn.” a vaguely familiar voice calls, you turning and seeing a white furred lion man. He stands before a formation of armored humans and giants, wielding his odd twin-headed axe-staff. “I didn’t think I would be able to summon you here.”
“Where the hell am I?” you say, more confused than anything. “And why did you bring me here?”
“I did, for beings like that. And HIM.” he says, pointing up past your shoulder. You turn around, and far behind the blue mineral giant part-animal creatures you see an absolutely massive dragon resting atop the tallest structure you can see. “That is Nicol Bolas. And we need your power to stop him, and the gods he has enslaved.”

“Sorry, but I have my own problems.” you say, crossing your massive arms. “Now send me back home. I have my own problems to take care of.”
“Unfortunately, you cannot leave.” he says, not defiantly but sadly. “We’re all trapped here, held by that artifact he stands upon. Only once Bolas is defeated can we all leave this place.”
“You bastard!” you snarl, worried about your family left at the mercy of that other green bastard. “And even if I wanted to help, I can’t. Dragon Force is inactive, I can’t kill gods right now like I could back then.”
“How about this, then: I can restore your power, if you agree to help.” the cat-man says. “My magic can heal and restore those it affects. I can restore your abilities, if you will use them to aid us. What do you say, Godslayer? Will you help us?”

Decided to look into the official answer from WotC
>"The basic idea is that a mage must first create a bond to the land through some kind of ritual. Whether the mage actually needs to visit the land is an open question. Maybe some lands are so mana-rich or renowned that mages can create a connection to them from across space, time, or even across planes. In any case, once a mage has established a bond to a given place, they can manifest that bond by concentrating on it, then channeling the mana from the land into themselves for spellcasting.
>"Perhaps this bond is abstract and only in the mage's thoughts, but we've also thought about ways to represent the bond visually, such as with 'mana globes' that float around a mage. The mage would create a small mana globe - roughly baseball-sized - that is a magical manifestation of his/her connection to a given land. Then the mage could literally 'tap' the mana globe to draw its power into themselves. The mana globe would then slowly regenerate until it was ready to be siphoned again. The bond could also be represented at the site of the land, such as with a totem or magical sigil that 'marks' the mage's bond to it.

“I agree.” you say, holding out your right hand. “If you can restore my Divine Dragon Force, I can kill your dragon.”
“Then I look forward to once more fighting by your side.” he says, taking your hand in his own. You feel an unfamiliar power begin welling up inside you, like a rush of golden sunlight. It rushes through your body, you feeling your energy reserves climbing as that energy begins pouring more and more into your right arm. And before your eyes, forming of golden sparkles and coalescing appears your Stand once more!

“GWROOOOOAAAAAR!!” Divine Dragon Force bellows, your crimson Stand reappearing and shooting straight up into the air from your arm. It flies up around you for several seconds before retracting, returning to it’s normal size wrapped around your arm, staring at the albino cat man. “Who’re you?”

But he doesn’t notice your dragon, and is still pouring his magic into you. But then the flow stops, his golden power retreating.

“That is all I can do. Did it work?” he asks you, clearly unable to perceive your Stand.
“Yeah. Divine Dragon Force is back.” you answer him, then telepathically. “So, your dragon or artifact. Which should I destroy?”
“Don’t break the Immortal Sun, unless there is no other options.” he says seriously aloud, not realizing you spoke telepathically. “Bolas isn’t the only planeswalker that is a threat. And should we prevail, we’ll need it. And don’t try using magic against those blue corpses, the Lazotep plating makes them virtually immune to magic.”
“Well then, it’s a good thing I don’t use magic.” you reply, rolling your right shoulder a few times. “Now you and your soldiers stay back, let me take point.”
“On the ground, or in the air?” he asks, you turning and looking up into the air. You then, after a few seconds of looking notice several thousand blue avian creatures, flying defensively around the giant dragon in the night sky.

“Both.” you answer aloud, flying forward towards the enemy armies. They notice you almost immediately, and notice several other giant blue corpse-like creatures around the massive dragon. And one is wielding a bow, firing a massive golden arrow at you. You smirk, twisting counterclockwise around the arrowhead and grabbing the arrow yourself. Letting it’s motion carry you you spin around, and return the giant arrow to sender. Your throw sends it faster than the god’s now, arrow slamming into it’s head and knocking it staggering backwards and falling from what it’s standing on. As you do this, and into the sudden quiet feel every single eye around, living and dead focused on you. Time to show them all what you can do.

“GRRRRRYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, unleashing your full power as your emerald aura surges. Your power explodes up, raising it to the limit as you begin gathering ki. Crossing your beefed-up arms, trying to restrain your power to let more build, you feel your entire body begin trembling from the force of the barely-restrained ki. Then as you feel your energy reaching critical mass, you throw your arms wide, and let loose. “HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”

Your ki explodes out from you in a crimson wave, the energy consuming everything as you unleash your ultimate Red Dawn. You feel the unstoppable wave of energy destroying the lazotep-coated zombies in the air and on the ground, tens of thousands of the corpses disappearing in an instant. After a dozen seconds or so you end the attack, crimson light vanishing and letting you see the aftermath of your blast. On the ground below is a crater, with a few broken shards of blue mineral gleaming and reflecting your emerald aura. You then take your stance, ready to go.

“Hey, you! Asshole!” you shout, projecting your instructor voice across the sky towards the towering dragon. Who seems to notice you now, gaze focused exclusively on you. “God or mortal, you won’t be the first of either I’ve killed. So come at me, and I’ll show you the wrath of the Dragon of New Salda!”
“What the actual fuck are you doing?” an unfamiliar mind reaches out and thinks to you. “Are you trying to die?”
“If you’re not here to help, fuck off.” you reply. “I have to get back home, my family’s in actual danger. So I’m gonna make this quick.”

“Such insolence. And from one so powerless.” the dragon says, azure eyes flashing. As the do, you suddenly feel an immense pull from behind you. A hole of darkness is trying to pull you in, and for a moment you glance that terrifying void you’d been trapped in before through it. Oh hell no, you’re NOT going back there!
“HRRYAAAAAAA!!” you roar, exploding away from the void and towards that giant dragon. “You aren’t getting away from me so easily!”
“Hmph. Fool.” the dragon says, eyes flashing again. But this time they flash a luminous black, and shadows leap from around you trying to bind you. The dark tendrils cling to your flesh, and you feel them sapping a bit of your strength. Not by too much, but enough to be noticeable. However you charge through, dragging the dark tendrils behind as you keep charging forward. You see the dragon’s lip curl at this, clearly annoyed with your persistence, and his eyes flash white. “I said! Begone!”

“Counter!” a woman’s voice shouts, and a shower of blue sparks rain down over you. You turn, seeing a white robed redheaded woman pointing a staff at you from down near the lion man. You give her a thumb’s up, then turn your focus back to the dragon and keep charging forward.
“Grrrrrr. Kill them all.” the dragon orders, and as one the blue mineral covered corpses all charge. The flying ones charge right for you, while the grounded ones simply charge for the other people behind you. “Leave none standing!”
“Out of my way!!” you roar, gathering your ki into both hands before throwing your right hand’s Scattershot. Dozens of small blasts shoot out from your hand, detonating in an arc of explosions that destroy a swathe of the avian creatures. And immediately after, even before the smoke has cleared, you do the same and toss your left Scattershot. As the shots close in the first of the avian creatures flies through the smoke, your attack again exploding in the same place.
cont
>>
>>4753489
You charge forward, continuing to gather your energy and tossing Scattershot after Scattershot before rushing into the smoke cloud. You’ve easily destroyed more than four hundred of them already, and just as you get to the smoke cloud change technique. Pulling your ki into your right fist, you unleash your Piercing Fist MkII and charge right into the smoke cloud. You feel the tight, piercing spiral of your energy smashing and shredding the crystalline armor of the zombies for several seconds before piercing though the other end of the smoke cloud your Scattershots kicked up. And as you burst through, are much closer to the dragon than you’d expected. In a flash of inspiration you focus, and instead of ending your Piercing Fist MkII, you stop and throw that attack at the dragon.

“Take this!!” you shout, launching the piercing, spiraling point at his throat. The dragon’s eyes flash blue, your attack vanishing into thin air as you continue your charge.
“Enough!” the dragon snarls, takes a deep breath in, and unleashed hell. Scorching flames in a massive cone explodes out, right for you.
“BARRIER!!” you shout panickedly, creating your shield around you and expanding it out past normal. The dragon’s flames crash against your spherical shield, trying to burn you alive, but your Barrier holds. Then after several tense seconds the attack ends, you dropping the shield and staring down the giant dragon. “Is that all you’ve got?”

To be fair, the only people that know us in this realm is the Lion, the ex-Hero, and the scaly kids meal we're about to carve up and take home. Plus Babidi and his bullshit minions skulking about, and whatever jackass orchestrated getting us here to kill Bolas.

>>
>>4753492
“You’ve got to get back, if he touches you it’s over!” that same annoying mind from before thinks as it reconnects with yours. “If Nicol Bolas so much as touches you, he will shatter your mind and bend you to his will.”
“I can’t erase your dragon problem without getting closer.” you telepathically reply, and then promptly end the psychic link. Which clearly surprises whoever it was, as they don’t immediately try and reconnect to you. That pest gone you focus on the dragon before you, and address him. “Was that all you’ve got, big guy? Some sparkles and a few flames, really? If that was your best, I’m disappointed.”

“It seems I underestimated you, magicless creature.” the dragon says over the sounds of battle raging behind you. “But now I remember you. I saw your battle, on the starry plane of Nyx years ago. You were the one who maimed the gods of Theros, by embracing your inner dragon. You impress me, mortal. So I shall offer you the rare privilege of choice.”
“A choice?” you ask, incredulous. But also intrigued. “About what?”
“You can keep defying me, and die. You could join with me, and I can unlock hidden strengths within you that you can’t even fathom. Or I can send you back to wherever you came from.”
“Wait, what?” you ask, confused. And more than a little curious. Your family’s lives come first, and the sooner you can get back to handle that green bastard the better. “I could just leave?”
“Of course. You have no spark, so you cannot be added as fuel for my old, newfound powers.” the dragon says, smiling wickedly as his next sentence chills you to your core. “I’m sure that Daretti’s new master wouldn’t mind him destroying your home completely, while you are wasting time here.”

Suddenly you’re a lot more terrified of this being than you were before. It somehow knows what’s currently going on at your home? So there’s no doubt it could send you there, if it were so obliged. But can you trust this overgrown lizard? Or should you just try and kill it now, and have the cat man send you back after they’ve deactivated the artifact?

What do you do?
>Agree to let Bolas send you home, you have more important shit to do than this. And from what he’s shown so far, this is clearly not worth your time
>Summon Divine Dragon Force back, charge right for his head and go for a killing blow

“Wait, you...You know of Babidi?” you ask, caught by surprise. In response the dragon simply smirks, eyes glowing with azure radiance. If he knows of that wizard, and his connection to the bastard than just invaded your home, then perhaps you can use this whole situation to your advantage. And with you right here in his face, the dragon’s focus is on you instead of the cat-man and his allies. So perhaps, the longer you stay here talking, the sooner they can deactivate the artifact holding them here. “How?”
“I have my ways.” the dragon replies, his gaze not moving from you. “I know much of the goings on across the realms. And of your...animosity towards the current Time God as well.”

“How-?” you start, when suddenly your instincts scream at you that you’re in danger. And glancing down, you see the jaws of the lizard-like god rising up to try and bite you.
“SSSSSHAAAAA!!” it hisses, you snarling in response. And without a second thought let your ki explode, waves of energy blasting the leaping giant back down to the ground. It lands with a titanic crash, you gathering your ki into an Energy Javelin, readying to throw it at the creature before glancing back to the dragon. Who doesn’t react, but you let your energy fade as you turn back to him and glare.

“You’re offer to let me leave, instead of killing you here and now, is quite tempting.” you say, meeting his gaze. “If you told me what you know of Babidi, and how to find him, I may be persuaded to leave you alive.”
“Ohoho? You wish to bargain with I? Nicol Bolas, the God-Emperor?” the dragon replies, and you get the feeling he’s smiling. “And for my information on that weak spellslinger Babidi, what would you offer in return? What can one such as you possibly offer me?”
“Your life.” you reply, summoning Divine Dragon Force around your arm. And unlike the cat man, this dragon recognizes yours immediately. “Oh? You can see Divine Dragon Force?”

“Young power thief. You cannot stop me.” Bolas says, addressing your Stand directly and no longer speaking to you. “You cannot comprehend the depths of my power, whelp.
“I do not think I can defeat this one.” your Stand mutters to you. “This power of his is far greater than anything I’ve ever seen before.”
“A wise choice.” the dragon answers it, returning his focus to you. “So, what do you offer in return for this information? Without your Stand, do you truly think you can stop me?”
cont
>>
>>4754531
“Without my Stand? You say that like I needed my Stand to beat you.” you say, letting your Stand disappear. “Letting Divine Dragon Force turn your power against you was my way of offering you mercy. It would have been a much less painful death than me tearing you apart.”

“Shaaaaaaaaa!!” the lizard giant hisses, leaping up at you again. So you decide to make a statement with this scaly bastard as it tries to eat you.
“HAAAA!!” you roar, catching it’s jaws with your bare hands. You then throw your arms wide as you can, spreading the lizard’s mouth wide as you gather your ki. “BAAAAAAAA!!!”

You unleash a powerful Mouth Beam right through the creature’s mouth, blasting out the back of it’s neck as you tear the top half of it’s head clean off. You then turn, glaring at the dragon while still holding the weaker one’s head before dropping it.

“Call off your dogs, before I slaughter the rest of them.” you say, feeling your rage burning brighter. His eyes then flash a deep purple, and you hear a woman cry from below. Turning your gaze, you see a woman surrounded by several of the blue zombie like creatures that make no move to attack. She then looks up towards you both, glaring at the dragon before her own violet energy gathers around her hands. Looking down over the battlefield, it seems that she is the one directly controlling those Lazotep-coated beings. Good information for later. “And that is my offer. Tell me what I want to know, and send me on my way. Do that, and I won’t kill you.”

“I think your attempts at a distraction have gone on long enough.” the dragon replies, and fires a blast of flames. Not at you, but up and well over your left shoulder. You turn, and see a man riding a pegasus consumed by the blazing inferno of the dragon’s breath. Or at least you’d thought him consumed, the man and his eerily black blade dropping down from the flames towards the ground below. “Now, this is your last chance. Leave now, or die like the rest of them. Your call, mortal.”

Well, what do you do?”

“Tch!” you exhale, blasting through the air away from the dragon and towards the falling man. If Bolas is threatened enough to take personal action, then whoever he is has to be a threat to the dragon. So you fly over, watching as the giant archer fires another arrow at him. But the falling man flips around, slashing his black sword right through the giant golden arrowhead. It shears through the golden arrow with seemingly little effort, causing the warrior to tumble uncontrollably as he falls towards what would be certain death. “Got you!”
“Wha-you?” he shouts in surprise, seeing you rushing to his aid. “Look out! Behind you!!”

But you don’t look out. Instead you focus, letting your ki form out into the Barrier around you. Focusing, you pour more energy than usual into it, doubling the Barrier’s size. And just as you do, you feel a wave of energy slam into your back. It’s not fire, or ki, or anything familiar to you. In fact, the pressure that it hits you with feels almost like that Time Patroller Trunks’s divine power! However your shield holds, blocking that burst of divine magic from hitting you or the warrior you’re trying to save. He watches in astonishment as you close in, bracing for impact as your shield is about to hit. But your Barrier doesn’t block physical objects, the man passing through effortlessly. However, to your surprise the sword he’s holding doesn’t, it catching on the shield and holding him aloft.

“Huh. That’s new.” you say, flying up and out of the dragon’s energy breath before dropping your shield and catching the man. His right hand is scorched from being caught outside your shield, looking burned and severely damaged. Yet despite that he didn’t drop the sword, hand clenched around the blade’s hilt. “Hey. You alright?”
“Yeah, I’m fine.” he says, and to your surprise the damage to his hand begins undoing itself. After several seconds he looks good as new, just frustrated. “Dammit.”
“So what’s that sword?” you ask him. “Never seen one not able to pass through my Barrier.”
“It’s called the Blackblade.” he says, as dozens of angels fly past you both towards the dragon. And are immediately obliterated by hundreds of arrows fired from somewhere down below. “Years ago this sword killed one of his kin, another Elder Dragon before it was broken. It is one of the few artifacts with the power needed to stop him for good.”

Well, this is some interesting information. But what do you do with it?
>Tell him to give you the sword, you’ll take it to his face and end this

“So I just need to get you to that dragon, and your sword will do the rest?” you ask, the man nodding once. “Alright then, let’s do this.”
“Gideon.” he says, you looking to him confused. “My name’s Gideon.”
“Karn.” you reply, nodding back. “Now, let’s do this.”
“CHARGE!!” you hear another woman shout, turning and seeing a flaming angel leading an admittedly odd company. Other angels fly alongside dragons, gryphons, and even demons, all following her. “FOR RAVNICA!!”
“FOR RAVNICA!!” cheer the mismatched army behind her.
“Destroy them all.” the so-called Elder Dragon responds, his forces matching their enemy’s charge. And just before the two aerial armies clash, the lead angel unleashes her power.

“HAAAAA!!” she screams, flames bursting forth from her as she blitzes herself towards the incoming enemy forces. She blazes forth like a comet, exploding in a deadly fireball that destroys dozens of the creatures at once.
“Let’s go.” Gideon says, you nodding to him and taking off around the left side of the battle, towards the dragon’s right side. You power down as well, reverting to your base form to try and appear less obvious to the dragon. “Don’t use your shield, as it will draw eyes. Instead use me as your shield.”
“Wait, what?” you ask, confused. “Why?”
“My magic makes my body virtually invulnerable.” he says, a stray arrow flying up at you both. He then surprises you further by holding his arms wide, the arrow shattering against his face. “Barring extremely powerful magics, I cannot be harmed. Now let’s go, hurry!”

“Whatever you say.” you answer, holding the warrior Gideon before you as you charge into the battlefield. You fly around, dodging between the larger combatants while constantly closing the distance between you and the dragon Bolas. He probably can’t see you through all this carnage, allowing you to carry the warrior and his enchanted sword to the dragon and end this. And sure enough, after almost a minute you manage to fly though the battle, closing in to within an easy throw’s distance. “Alright, do it! GOOO!!”

And you launch the warrior, pitching him right at the dragon’s gigantic head.

“This ends now!!” Gideon roars, swinging his sword overhead at the dragon. This is it! “PERISH!!”

But as his sword strikes the dragon’s head, the pitch-black blade shatters.

“What?!” you hear Gideon shout, feeling the collective hopes of the city’s defenders shatter with that blade.
“The hero with the magic sword slays the dragon? Not this time.” Nicol Bolas says arrogantly, and casually swats the man down. He crashes down to the city streets far below, where you see dozens of the blue creatures immediately swarm him. And to your surprise the woman leading his forces is too, but you’re too far away to hear if they say anything to each other. “This world is mine. Not one of you shall leave this place alive!”

“Dammit!” you snarl, then again transforming into your Ascended Berserker form with a roar. “RRRRRAAAAAAA!!”
“The Blackblade failed, save Gideon and retreat!” the same annoying voice from earlier calls out into your mind. “We have to fall back, and come up with another plan!”
“You cowards can try running away, but I’m not backing down!” you reply, again letting your enerald energy flare up around you. The Elder Dragon’s glare turns to you, his eyes narrowing dangerously. “I can’t afford to wait, my family’s in danger.”
“Unfortunately for you, you’ll never see them again.” the dragon thinks to the both of you, the other man’s shock clearly evident. “You and every last one of you worthless creatures who tried to resist me shall die.”

And then to your complete shock, the remaining giant blue creatures turn, attacking the Elder Dragon as yet another new dragon appears behind him! This new dragon wields a golden weapon similar to those of the otherworldly creatures, and thrusts it right into the bigger dragon’s back.

“GAH! Wh-What?!” Bolas shouts, looking over his shoulder. “You?! DIE!!”

A wave of dark energy suddenly surges from him, blasting the smaller dragon and the blue creatures back away from him. Two of the Lazotep-coated beings are knocked down as the third simply explodes, the other dragon knocked back into the sky. Which leaves Nicol Bolas wide open.

“DIE!!” you roar, swinging for his broad head.
“GRRROOOAAAAAAR!!” Divine Dragon Force bellows, you and your Stand both striking the divine dragon together. Nicol Bolas roars, and as the two dragons’ divine power clashes, everything goes white.

Didn’t forget the telepathy with Ajani, but did forget the lending with Gideon. However, it wouldn’t have made a difference. Centuries ago Bolas enchanted the Blackblade; and made it unable to ever harm any Elder Dragons. No matter how strong you swing the blade, it would break against him.

>Centuries ago Bolas enchanted the Blackblade; and made it unable to ever harm any Elder Dragons. No matter how strong you swing the blade, it would break against him.
Does that only apply if the weapon was whole, would it still work on say, some shards shoved in his eye socket.

It applies to any piece of it. The Blackblade CANNOT harm an Elder Dragon

GD, if Divine Dragon Force did manage to hit Bolos, or another Divine Figure, could it...I dunno...drain its divine powers to grow itself? Since, from what I'm getting, DDF couldn't harm Bolos because it was a far stronger and older divine being?

>>4755366

Karn's World Famous Surf-and-Turf Chili, augmented several times over by the amount of children he's had over the years.

>"Still your breathing, let the trace amounts of air in your lungs hold you. The Force can sustain you... listen to it."

Say GD. How long do you think it will take us to Master Berserker 2 completely? I'm curious how long we'll have to get used to Berserker 3 before Beerus wakes up.
>>
>>4757265
Depends on how long you decide to dedicate to it, but at least years
>>
>>4757124

To be absolutely fair, we could probably fly from planet to planet now at top speed with a barrier going.
Broly could do it as a damn infant, so it's totally possible.

What's the most unlikely thing you think could ever still potentially feature in GD's great crossover quest?

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 154 Epilogue I-

AGE 759, NEW SALDA

“I may not be this Super Saiyan God, but while you wait how about you and I go a round?” your father asks, popping his knuckles. “After all, I’ve been waiting the last twenty years to test myself against you.”
“Honestly I’d been expecting you to be the Super Saiyan God.” Beerus the Destroyer answers, rising up from his seat. “So why not? I reckon I could use a bit of a warm up, in any case.”
“Well now, I wonder how Karn stacks up to Lord Beerus.” Emperor Freeza says, then turns to you. “This should be quite the show.”

You are Caulifla: daughter of Karn and Meloka, Darkmoon Knightess, wielder of the mighty Stand Triumph, and just recently unlocked the power of Super Saiyan 3! But now your dad is about to fight an actual, real-life god. And although you don’t think Gwyndolin is that tough, somethin’ about Beerus makes you think he’s a lot stronger than the Darkmoon God.

“Go on then, show me this new power of yours.” Beerus says to your dad, yawning a bit partway through. Which, knowing your dad, is probably not a good idea. Either he’s really that powerful, or he has no idea just how amazing your dad is. Especially since he started training that newest form of his. “Show me what lies beyond a Super Saiyan.”
“Well, it turns out that among Super Saiyans, there is an even rarer state.” your dad says, clenching his fists. Then with a roar and a flash of emerald light begins to transform. “Grrrraaaaaaa!!”

Your dad’s body is torn apart as he takes on his giant Berserker form, becoming the size you’ve grown used to seeing him over the past several years with his training. Which seems to genuinely surprise the Destroyer God, who’s eyes widen at your dad’s form. And with a sigh he finishes transforming, and now looks down on the much smaller-seeming God.

“I call this the Berserker form.” your dad tells him, voice a bit deeper now from the larger body. “So, what do you think?”
“It’s a flashy transformation, and I can see why you’re so confident in yourself now.” the Destroyer says, but then adds smugly. “But is this all you’ve got?”
“Oh no, I’m just getting started!” your dad fires back, and with little fanfare Ascends. Instantly his power doubles, sparks appearing and dancing around his much larger aura. “I’ve spent years training, strengthening my body and mind to control what you’re about to see! This is the power of a Saiyan who rejects the divinity of godhood!!”
>>
>>4763163
https://youtube.com/watch?v=jfPwKX7t6kw

“HRRRRRRRRRYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” your dad roars, his emerald aura flaring wildly and rocking the air as you all feel his power begin rising even higher. The ground beneath you begins trembling, shattering beneath the weight of his power as Karn pulls out all the stops. His roar turns to a cry, a noise sounding in as much pain as he is angry as his hair begins growing. Having recently learned to control your power to go Super Saiyan 3 yourself, hearing his screams of pain does make you wince. Going Super Saiyan 3 does hurt a bit, but you can’t imagine how much worse it is with all that green power. “GYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

“The lungs on that one.” you hear Lord Beerus’s attendant Whis say, his smugness rubbing you the wrong way ever since they showed up. You don’t like him, even though you do like Beerus. Maybe he can leave that jerk behind next time he comes by?

“HRRRRRRYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” your dad screams out, everything disappearing in a flash as his transformation finally finishes. It takes several moments for his blindingly bright light to fade, and when it does you see your dad’s strongest form. Long green hair flows down his back, body covered in crackling sparks as he focuses on Lord Beerus. And when he speaks, his voice is much more menacing, lower and gravelly. “This is my strongest form, the true power of a legendary Super Saiyan.”
“Oho, seems that all your talk wasn’t just bluster after all.” the Destroyer says, you noticing a shift in his body language. Before he was completely relaxed and carefree, but now that your dad has powered up there’s a tenseness to his body. “Well then, come at me whenever you’re ready.”

“Oh this is gonna be-“ you start, then feel it. The familiar pull of your Darkmoon crest, preparing to pull you through time to help hunt down the cruel Invaders. “Awwww, c’mon! Really? Right now?”
“Oh? Well now, this is unexpected.” the attendant Whis says, much of that earlier smugness vanishing. “I haven’t seen one of your kind in ages.”
“Hey, record it, record it!” you ask Freeza frantically, gesturing towards your dad and Beerus standing off. “I wanna see how this goes!”
“Of course, I’ll make sure you won’t miss anyt-“ Freeza tried to let you know but before he could finish everything goes black. This had better be important! After a few seconds your body begins forming, from the head-down as you rise up to your full height. After a second or two the summoning ends, you looking around to figure out where you are now.
>>
>>4763168
Looking around, you find that you’ve been brought into a very sacred, special place. The tomb of Gwyndolin’s father, the Sun God Gwyn.

“Greetings, Knightess Caulifla.” the feminine man-god greets you, as you appear before him and his half-dragon sister. “I trust thou art ready for battle?”
“I wish I had my sword.” you say, missing the magical flame-blade already. But you didn’t have a chance to grab it before, this summoning happening far quicker than usual. But it should be fine. You hope. “But I’m ready to go.”
“Fortunately, I had feared as much.” Yorshka says, the halfbreed as frail looking as her voice. But she holds out a scabbarded sword to you, with a silver pommel and crossguard, as well as silver accents on the scabbard. Which you accept, drawing the sword with your right hand. Unlike your flames it is a straight sword, not curved, and noticeably longer as well. But it feels good in your hand, you should easily be able to wield it with one hand against whatever comes. Speaking of...

“Thanks Yorshka! Always so thoughtful.” you say with a small head now and a smile, before turning back to her older brother, again more serious. “Alright. What’s the problem?”
“Sulyvahn.” comes the reply, your brows furrowing. The self-proclaimed Pontiff had tried poisoning Gwyndolin, in a plot to feed the god to the evil devourer, Aldrich. And had you not interfered, you shudder to think what would have happened that day. “He has returned, and the forces against us are more powerful than ever. Somehow he uncovered the Darkwraiths, enemies of life itself long buried beneath the waves of New Londo.”

At this he pauses, looking pointedly at your Dark-tainted left hand before continuing.

“But that is not all. Many other kingdoms have fallen to that dark sorcerer Sulyvahn’s powers, and now march under his banner.” Gwyndolin says, for the first time actually sounding a bit afraid. “Even with the three of us, and the remaining Silver Knights defending the castle, I do not know which side shall prevail.”
“Wait, three?” you ask, as Yorshka rises to her feet. And you notice the spear she wields, with a heavy, solid-seeming crossbar.
“This is mine ancestral home as well, champion.” she says softly, yet there is an unmistakably hard edge to her voice. “And I would not see it fall this day. I shall fight by thine side.”

“We’ve got a real winning team now.” you say excitedly, flipping your new sword around you several times to get a feel for how it handles. It feels good honestly, almost as if it was made for your hand. “Alright, let’s get that bastard Sulyva-!”

“GGRRRROOOOAAAAAAAAAAR!!”
>>
>>4763172
“What was that?” you ask, looking at the two deities as their faces pale even more. Which you hadn’t thought was actually possible, given their pale complexions.
“Brother?” Yorshka asks, suddenly sounding like little more than a scared child you need to protect. “Was that-?”
“Yes.” he replies, sounding very worried and nervous. “A dragon.”
“Another one?” you ask, much to the siblings’ surprise. Looking between their shocked faces, you feel compelled to ask. “What?”
“You say that as if Father’s sworn enemies aren’t the single greatest threat, greater even than the Dark.” Gwyndolin says. Then glances back to the dusty scroll laid upon the ancient tomb, then turns back to you. “We’ll just have to do our best.”

“Leave the dragon to me.” you say confidently, sheathing the sword and using your tail as a belt to hold it to your left side. “I’ll handle it as quick as I can, then I’ll be right back!”
“A-Alone?” Yorshka asks, shocked. “You’re fighting such a beast by yourself?”
“Won’t be the first dragon I fought!” you reply, running up the short flight of stairs and into the long hallway before turning to the first window, and leaping through it. Glass shatters as you jump into the cold, darkening evening sky. But you look around towards where you though the sound came from, you see what looks like a storm rolling in from the nearest mountain. Another screeching roar comes from the storm clouds, which all immediately begin spreading towards what’s left of Anor Londo unnaturally fast. “I bet it’s in there.”

But before you can go towards the clouds, you see a surprising sight. From the false Pontiff’s church, several hundred balls of fire and dark masses are fired up into the storm clouds. You then hear the screech of the presumed-dragon, and a powerful stream of flames bursts forth from the storm. A beam of ice rises up to meet it, the opposing energies clashing and detonating in a burst of steam.

“Uhhhh....huh. That’s unexpected.” you say, completely surprised. Apparently this dragon isn’t here to fight you all, or at least isn’t here only to fight you. So you immediately turn around and rush back through the broken window to tell the gods what you just saw. “Soooooo.... That dragon isn’t evil. Or at least it isn’t here for eating us. It just attacked that pretender’s church from it’s storm clouds with fire.”
“Our enemy comes to rescue us?” Gwyndolin says, hand to his chin confused. “Impossible. Unless....”
“You don’t think-?” Yorshka asks her brother, a faint glimmer of hope in her voice. “Could it really be him?”
“Who’re you guys talking about?” you ask, completely out of the loop. “Do you actually know a dragon?”
>>
>>4763175
“No. But we do know one who joined their side.” Gwyndolin says, sounding both hopeful and really sad. “Our eldest brother defected during the war, abandoning us all and working with the dragons. For this Father took his name, and banished him from Anor Londo forever.”
“GGRRRROOOOAAAAAAAAAAR!!” the dragon roars again, already sounding much closer than before.
“To think he’s survived, all this time...” Gwyndolin says, almost dreamily. “Please, if it truly is our brother is attacking the enemy, help him. Don’t let that monster Aldrich ear my brother!”

“Leave it to me!” you shout enthusiastically, again flying from the room and out the broken window. I’m just that short amount of time the storm has grown considerably, wind and rain whipping through the sky as the dragon roars again from the densest clouds. Without hesitation you charge forward, into the storm to try and find this dragon, and maybe their brother too. Flying through the wind and rain, you soon pass through the densest part of the storm to find the calmer center within. And the dragon causing it.

“GGRRRROOOOAAAAAAAAAA!!” the blue-feathered, four-winged dragon roars, breathing a column of fire down into the storm. A second or two later you hear the boom of it colliding with Sulyvahn’s frost magic, and then you see it. A figure rises from the dragon’s back, wielding a long-bladed spear in one hand and a powerful bolt of lightning in the other. Wordlessly the warrior fires the bolt down, towards where the ice was fired from, and a second later feel the boom. The warrior’s bolt hitting something creates a mighty thunderclap that slaps against your chest, and even from here can tell his magic is far stronger than your own. Almost as if he’s much, much closer to the original source of the gods’ miracles than you are. Which, if he’s the brother of Gwyndolin and Yorshka, only makes sense. But something’s wrong. You don’t sense any ki from the figure, divine or otherwise. You can sense the dragon just fine, who somehow notices you. To your surprise it turns and glares at you, clearly communicating without words that it doesn’t take to kindly to you. “GRRRROOAAAAAAA!!”

“Woah, hey, you got the wrong idea!” you say, holding your chime aloft and showing it to them both as you quickly mutter the prayer. Your Great Lightning Spear forms in your hand, you making sure they both can see it before tossing it down at pretender’s church. “I’m on your side, see?”
“GGRRRROOOOAAAAAAAAAA!!” the dragon bellows, belching forth fire at you now instead of the enemy below. So you do the only reasonable thing you can think of: nothing. The dragon’s fire washes over you, but thanks to your Stand Triumph, fire that isn’t magical cannot actually harm you. So you let the flames rage, unmoving, until the blast of heat ends.
>>
>>4763179
As the flames die out, you remain unscathed by the blast. Clearly this surprises both dragon and rider, who don’t know how to act. Obviously neither had ever seen someone completely immune to the scorching flames, the dragon turning to look at the rider and the two share a confused, head-tilting look.

“I’m not the bad guy!” you call out, flying closer to them both. Neither immediately attacks you, and as you fly closer see that the rider isn’t alive. Or, at least not completely. He looks like one of those Hollows, or a completely mad zombie. Yet despite his empty eye socketed glare, you can almost feel his gaze going to your chest. Not exactly your chest, as more and more people had started doing as you’ve gotten older and more developed, but specifically to your Darkmoon Pendant hanging there. The bloodless zombie reaches out delicately, left hand’s fingers barely grazing the pendant.

“Guuuuuuh....doll.......innn...” the zombie says in it’s dry, raspy voice. You feel your jaw drop, never before has any Hollow you’ve seen spoken before. But that confirms what the feminine god had said earlier. This is his brother, or at least what’s left of him. The Undead Curse is a cruel one, and you hope it never comes to your own time.
“Yes, Gwyndolin! I work for Gwyndolin!” you say, eagerly trying to convince the undead you’re allies. “I’m a Darkmoon Bla-SHIT! TRIUMPH!!”

Out of the corner of your eye, you see a lance of purple magical energy flying up from the ground right at Gwyndolin’s brother. So without hesitation you dash in the way, and call forth your Stand.

“KIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!” Triumph caws, wings folded in front of itself as a shield. The lance of magic strikes your Stand, but since that magic isn’t part of or under a Stand’s power, cannot injure Triumph. So after a second or two your Stand caws again, throwing it’s golden wings wide and flinging the spear of magic harmlessly away. Neither dragon nor rider seem to notice, and instead the dragon roars rearing back to fire another blast of flame. So you have Triumph move aside with you, and let the dragon do it’s thing.
“GGRRRROOOOAAAAAAAAAAR!!” it bellows, belching forth yet another stream of fire before the duo begin rapidly descending. Looks like this battle’s about to get really exciting!
“Oh yeah, let’s gooo!” you shout, transforming in a burst of golden light and following the dragon as it descends. You and the dragon fly down, passing though the storm clouds to see the false Pontiff Sulyvahn’s amassed forces, who recoil as Gwyndolin’s older brother’s dragon roars again. This is gonna be amazing! “BRING IT ON!!”

A universe were a Saiyan girl begs Frieza to record a fight for her like a uncle. To see his OG timelines reaction.

Very nice GD. Though I wonder how the Nameless King ended up as a Hallow given his divine nature and that unlike Gwyn he never burned in the Klin.

Also curious how Wiss reacted to Cauli being a Dark Moon Knight and the reveal of Berserker 3.
>>
>>4763184
Your Freeza would scoff at his ‘canon’ counterpart’s distaste. If not outright end him for being so insensitive to family.
>>4763188
He wouldn’t be the only one recording, but you’re right about that much.
>>4763196
A good question. Hollowing happens to all undead who lose their purpose, those who either lose their will to go on or finish their mission, and no longer have a goal to strive for.
Whis’s line of “Oh? Well now, this is unexpected.” was directed towards Caulifla. Although in this timeline, with Karn actively working towards controlling Berserker 3, Whis will have seen it before Beerus woke up again.
>>
>>4763253

Speaking of Frieza and family, how are Papa Cold and Cooler doing?
Did Cooler finally get the memo and start putting in the work to get good like his little brother?

That tracks I guess.
I hope our timeline's Dabura hasn't just been sitting on his bright red ass after we saved him.
If Cooler of all fucking people is putting in work, so should Dabura.
Sidenote, if Dabura does manage to get strong enough to be relevant by the time the ToP happens, would he be eligible to enter?
>>
>>4772211
He is less offended than Zamasu will be, but knowing Karn’s probably going to hell when he eventually dies, Dabura’s been increasing his power. Also because a mortal of all things killed his second, not in terms of loyalty but in power.
Yes, he is eligible. If the undead can enter, so too can that universe’s demons. Unless a ruling is made by the Zeno/s, whose major decision-making criteria seem to continuously be “rule of cool” against them entering.
>>
>>4772242
Wait, so...Dabura isn't actually recognized by the Divine hierarchy?
Do they just not give a shit about the Demon Realm?
>>
>>4772256
Clearly not. Else how would Towa have been able to create and temporally seal her labs across timelines completely undetected? As long as demons stay in the Demon Realm they’re kinda ignored
>>
>>4772266
Wow. And they wonder why the Demons do nothing but break shit when they get out.
>>
>>4772242
>but knowing Karn’s probably going to hell when he eventually dies, Dabura’s been increasing his power.
Huh what? I know Karns going to hell when he dies, thats a given, but The Demon Realm and Hell are two entirely different things, and unless demons die AFAIK they have nothing to do with Hell.
>>
>>4772310
I assume that Hell is just a specific segment of the Demon Realm based on the fact that they have demons employed there.
But I guess it's still up for debate, because I don't know GD's exact interpretation.
>>
>>4772310
>>4772399
Demon Realm and Hell are in fact two different planes of existence in the cosmology of DB. Demon Realm being the very bottom tip of the universe and Hell between the Universe and Otherworld, as per this guide. Although, always keep in mind canon doesn’t really matter here and it’s all up to GD to decide how it works.
>>
>>4772266
Hey GD, I got a question that just popped into my head.
How many siblings and half-siblings do Karn and Meloka have respectively?
I have to imagine it's quite a few given Saiyan's natural tendencies and the lack of contraception until very recently.
>>
>>4772269
Because that’s what demons ARE. Kais are a force of order, whereas demons are a force of chaos.
>>4772310
Those realms share several pathways, and demons are tasked to help control the darker dead
>>4772432
Finally, been looking for that one. The demons have near-unlimited access to hell, and going back and forth between them isn’t difficult.
>>4772438
Karn is the only child of Tatsu, but as for Meloka who knows? Neither of her folks are still around to ask

QM UPDATE

As of right now, this epilogue should be out tomorrow night. Who’s ready to see Daretti unleash one of the most dangerous creations in the multiverse?
>>
>>4776393
>Babidi controlled wizard unleashes extremely dangerous creature
>Shin is nowhere to be found
Like pottery.
>>
>>4776397
In all fairness, Karn isn’t there either now.
>>
>>4776423
It's not Karn's responsibility to deal with Majin fuckboys. Shin will never admit he himself is the problem.
>>
>>4776423
There's a difference between not being able to be present and not bothering to go.
Or worse yet, not even being aware that something's going on at all.
>>
>>4776485
He came to Karn’s, who is the Champion,’s planet. So it kinda is, his and Raven’s. The Majinizing just gave Daretti access to much more magical power than he’d normally have to fuel his creation addiction. He doesn’t actually deal any sort of damage himself. This is probably one of if not the only situation so far that’s not in Shin’s jurisdiction. Although him NOT showing up is probably for the best. Just think of the consequences of Shin taking the amulet back to the planet of the Kais with his apprentices.
>>4776497
True. Although, ironically, he’s currently searching another quadrant of the universe for any hints of Babidi’s presence. Of course to no avail.
>>
>>4776505
>Although, ironically, he’s currently searching another quadrant of the universe for any hints of Babidi’s presence. Of course to no avail.
Honestly you’d think he’d have the basic pattern recognition to realize if there’s a high level threat to the universe sooner or later Karns gunna end up running into it.

That’s not even factoring in that the power to revive Buu is only really accessible via The Cold Family and the sayain races elites. If he just spied on Karn and Cooler/Freeza enough Babbidis fuck bois will stick their necks out eventually.

>searching the complete fucking opposite of where Babidi probably is
Alright, let me get this straight.
>Babidi wants to awaken Majin Buu
>Majin Buu requires an enormous amount of energy to be awoken
>Babidi can't generate enough energy himself
>Babidi has to enslave powerful warriors to gather energy instead
Now, taking all that into account, where is he most likely to be if he wants MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF ENERGY AND STRONG WARRIORS?
Maybe he would be in the quadrant with THE STRONGEST WARRIORS AND HIGHEST AMOUNTS OF AVAILABLE ENERGY?
Fucking Shin man, swear to god.
Also you'd think he'd be more aware of what goes down on New Salda seeing as it's very rapidly becoming every God/Demon/Evil Wizard's favorite vacation spot.
>>
>>4776532
To be fair, karn's quadrant of the universe is also known as "The quadrant of the universe that increases your likelihood of dying a very violent and painful death if you so much as think about fucking with it".
If I was babidi I'd have my physical body as far away from that place as possible.
>>
>>4776536
>If I was babidi I'd have my physical body as far away from that place as possible.
You can only play it safe for so long.
Sooner or later, he would have to come over here.
Short list of known combatants in this Universe who meet his requirements:
>Karn
>Meloka
>Bardock
>King Vegeta
>Ubo
>Frieza
>King Cold
>Cooler
>Boros
Unless he felt like wasting his time with absolute nobodies, he's gonna have to come back.
>>
>>4776521
>>4776532
After losing half of himself because he went there, you wouldn’t expect him to ever go back. Eventually draining several quadrillion ants will be the same as draining a dinosaurs after all.
>>4776536
Right? And Shin knows the Saiyans, or at least the leadership and most powerful among them, are aware of Babidi. Sending saboteurs and visiting a place yourself are two entirely different things.
>>4776551
Not necessarily. Better to do something like, oh I dunno, bait them off of their home court and charging hastily into a well-thought out and constructed ambush far from allies and backup.
>>
>>4776565
>you wouldn’t expect him to ever go back
Which is exactly why I DO expect him to come back.
I'm a fucking 4D Chess master.
>Better to do something like, oh I dunno, bait them off of their home court
Point taken. That said, wouldn't Cold be acutely aware of that?
He doesn't seem like the type to charge in blindly as soon as he catches the scent.
>>
>>4776565
At this rate the only way Buu gets freed is if some random outsider like a Towa decided to help him free Buu.
>>
>>4777563
...Oh god the Towa of this timeline doesn't know us.
Oh no
>>
>>4776579
>I'm a fucking 4D Chess master.
But Babidi isn’t. Plus the odds are greatly against him.
Cold is aware, but has little choice in the matter but to go ahead. What if not going let’s him summon Buu? He can’t take that risk.
>>4777563
Very possible.
>>4777577
No, she is aware. Dabura will have told her what happened and why a mortal not only came into the Demon Realm, but escaped. If for no other reason than so she could develop a countermeasure against Babidi’s control, should he try again. Dabura’s evil, not stupid.
>>
>>4777653
>What if not going let’s him summon Buu? He can’t take that risk.
Then let somebody else take that risk.
A small team of forward observers could confirm where Babidi is, who he has under his control, local forces, etc...
Of course they would only be told as much as they need to know beforehand in case they're compromised/possessed
It sounds like exactly the type of work you would give to troops specializing in scouting, espionage, sabotage, and survival.
Does Cold even keep those kind of soldiers on his payroll?
>>
>>4777710
Yes, he has all sorts of people under his employ, and has a personal working relationship with old man Zoldyck himself. But spies and saboteurs can only do so much. Babidi is far too dangerous to leave to anyone else, as Cooler’s possession only reinforced to him. However, that idea may perhaps change in the future. Especially if he learns that a certain big green Saiyan has been mentally deprogrammed and made completely IMMUNE to any further mind control.

Wait...he doesn't know? Now THAT is interesting.
We should really invite Towa to dinner in our timeline at some point.
I think Cold would make a perfect host for such an event.

Having played through kakarot recently, my loathing for Super only grows.
And my realization that Babidi really did have the cards stacked the fuck against him and made all the worse by his massive ego.
Out of everyone that was present at his spaceship, the only one with a speck of evil in him for the mind control magic to latch on to was Vegeta, since Piccolo had already been swiftly turned to stone.
What are the odds of running into five people of the that tier of strength with only ONE of them not being pure-hearted good?
>>
>>4777865
The worst part was that Vegeta was anything but obedient while under Babidi's spell.
He pretty much let it happen in the first place for a free power-up so he could get a salty runback on Goku.
>>
>>4777870
Which apparently never happened before, ever.
Kinda weird but ok, I guess vegeta was just THAT autistic about wanting to fight goku for his pride
>>
>>4777886
He does get his dick hard solely to fight Goku, train, or fuck Bulma post training. it isn't THAT surprising.
>>
>>4777859
He would be very interested in learning this. Speaking of... well you’ll see eventually.
>>4777865
Honestly everyone bashes Goku in Super, but after time away it honestly makes more sense. How many times has he died? How many times has the earth been destroyed, everything lost only for it all to still work out in the end? His attitude is what happens when you spend (at this point ic) decades without any real consequences. The last death in his life that actually stuck and mattered was Grandpa Gohan’s.
And right? Man ran into a planet with several fighters stronger than the literal god of the universe you’d been running from. If Babidi were smart and didn’t let his ego get in the way, he’d have fucked off for a bit and came back after losing the Kai tailing him. As we’ve seen, it isn’t that difficult.
>>4777870
It’s possible Babidi could have broken him. But Dabura saw it was more useful to split up the heroes, as he proved that he could handle Gohan easily enough
>>4777886
The prince is the king of salt for a reason. Wanting his run back without interference is the ONLY reason he didn’t try murdering all the earthlings after what happened on Namek, and instead waited patiently for his chance at revenge. Then when Goku finally came back he knew he’d get folded by a Super Saiyan, so fucked off until he got it. Then with the Androids’ attack he didn’t get his chance, and then Goku died sacrificing himself for HIS life. A final devastating insult with no chance for a retort before disappearing seemingly forever. So when he had ONE DAY to get his fight, and saw the gap in their power, he took Babidi’s offer.
>>
>>4777922

Which would be fine if he ever actually suffered the consequences of that attitude, but he never gets checked.
Super Goku being a selfish prick is always the solution sooner or later.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 154 Epilogue II-

AGE 749, NEW SALDA

You watch worriedly as flames from more than a dozen giant robots completely obscure your dad for several seconds, then sigh in relief as the flames end suddenly. Your dad drops his shimmering emerald shield, but before he can attack you both hear an odd groaning, like metal shearing apart. Looking around you see Raven, who’s conjuring a beam of light from the sky down on the tower. Her light consumes the tower, and as it does you watch as the dark metal disappears from the many mechanical creatures the wizard conjured before your dad disappeared him.

“Hurry Karn, take them out now!” Raven shouts up at him. “Before that wizard comes back!”
“HAAAAAAA!!!” he roars, destroying a large swathe of the machines with a pair of Scattershots.
“Woah.” you say, as impressed as always with your dad’s power. You are Caulifla, Super Saiyan, Merciful Angel of New Salda, Darkmoon Blade, and today you watched your dad catch a thief. But Silver was gonna let the third have what she stole, before Raven showed up and tried to destroy it. Then after they subdued her, a short green wizard appeared in his chair, summoning an army of different evil robots.

“You-! What did you do?!” the wizard says, you seeing he’s reappeared back down on the ground beside his chair. In no time your dad appears right in front of him, and swing a heavy punch for his head. But instead of trying to dodge he attempts to block, lifting a small glass-looking statue.

“Karn, wait!” Raven shouts as your dad swings at the evil little green man who’d shown up and tried to kill you all with evil machines. But before she can finish the sentence, his fist smashes the small statue he held up in defense. And to your horror, both the statue and your dad both suddenly vanish, disappearing in a sudden distortion of space. “You-! What did you do to him!?”
“Me? I didn’t do anything.” the creep says smugly, as you feel your blood boil. “But when he destroyed that statue, it vanished his essence to the void between the planes. When he learns to reconfigure his molecular structure, he’ll be back. Unless, of course, his essence is destroyed by that void first, then he’ll-“
“Bring him back!!” you roar, sparks dancing around the golden aura as you unconsciously Ascend. Triumph caws, simultaneously transforming into it’s more flamelike form. Bring my daddy back! RIGHT!! NOW!!”
“I’m afraid that is impossible, little assassin.” he replies, still in that smug, arrogant tone that makes you want to hurt him. To break him. “Your father is gone. Forever.”
>>
>>4778038
“Forever.”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=6w1F4Mhhd6A

That word echoes around in your mind, as your dad being sucked into another dimension forever keeps playing as if on a loop. Your entire body is trembling, teeth clenched as your outrage begins overwhelming you. Everything goes red, Triumph’s fiery body merging into your own, and you become the flame. Your body disappears into the fires, consumed by your overwhelming hatred of this creature. You’re gonna kill him.

“Destroy her!” the green, soon to be dead man orders. The half dozen or so remaining golems all turn towards you, the closest one simply spinning and swinging it’s fist down. But as it does, the creature’s fists gets within a dozen yards of you, and begins melting. The metal turns red-hot almost instantly, dripping downwards and hitting the ground instead of you. Which breaks with a loud crack, you looking down and noticing the sand has turned to glass within a few dozen yards all around you. “What?!”
“Gonna. Kill. You.” you seethe, step after step carrying you closer to that green half-man. The first golem in your way doesn’t move aside, so as you walk closer the metal monster swiftly begins melting down. As you walk beneath it’s liquefying frame the monster is completely unable to move, molten metal dripping down onto the scorched sands.

“Stop her! One of you stop her!” he shouts panickedly, scrambling into his chair as the other machines rush your way. But you ignore them, the heat of your rage focused entirely on the squat, legless monster scrambling to get back into it’s chair. But you don’t let it. Rushing forward at blinding speed you dash to the chair, and with a swift kick try kicking ut into orbit. However, the heat pouring off of you is too much for it, and instead of launching the chair into space your blazing kick splits it right in two! The two halves melt down inward, forming a smoking slag pile atop the glassed sands behind as you keep moving forward. “Don’t let her get close! Bosh, stop her!!”

You look up, and see the rough metal man lift one of the other colossi and hurl it for you. Without thinking you leap towards it, slamming your fist into the melting ball of metal and send it right back. Metal collides, both golems collapsing in a melting heap as you turn your focus back to him.

“N-No way. That’s not possible.” the green man says, too shocked to resist as you land on the ground before him. You watch as the chair he’s on begins melting, but that shimmering field of white energy appears around him. But that’s fine, you don’t want to kill him. Not yet. You want to make this bastard suffer until he brings back your dad!
>>
>>4778043
“S-Stay back! I’m warning y-glurk!” he shouts, voice cutting off as your hand clamps down around his throat. The creature’s eyes, full of fear and pain bulge out of his head, but you show no mercy. Increasing the pressure every second you cut off more and more of his air, the spheres orbiting him melting and falling to the ground as his chair turns to a puddle under his body. Yet that shimmering white field around him persists, you seeing it around the golem behind his right shoulder as well. Which is also swiftly begging to melt, feet already little more than puddles in the sand.

“You’re running out of time.” you snarl, hate and rage overwhelming your usually-bubbly demeanor. “If my daddy’s not back before your little toy melts: you’re gonna die.”
“Cauli, wait.” Raven shouts, you glancing over your shoulder at her. She’s standing over the stupid medallion everyone was fighting over, sealing it away inside a bubble of her own dark energy. “This isn’t like you. What would your father say about this.”
“Don’t you-wait. You’re right.” you say, switching your grip from around his throat to palming the guy’s head before dashing right to that shiny robot keeping him alive’s head, and raise your left hand for a killer chop. “Daddy always says to end the really bad guys as quick as you can.”
“WAIT.” Raven says with authority, and suddenly grab your wrist as you try bringing it down. She is coated in magic, which is what’s keeping her from burning up, but something’s clearly bothering her from her voice. You turn and see tears running down her cheeks, and it startles you pretty badly to see her crying. You’ve never seen Raven cry before. “Cauli, please. Don’t do this. Don’t go down this path.”

“Raven...?” you say, too shocked to say anything else, and all that rage and hate just disappears. One moment you’re ready to kill this guy, to rip and tear him to little pieces. And the next you’re not. Is that what Broly and Daddy go through when they turn big and green? Just unstoppable, unrelenting anger? “Wha...? What happened?”
“There you are Cauli.” she says, sighing out and sounding completely relieved. But before she can say anything else, suddenly you feel several sharp pains in your lower chest and stomach.
>>
>>4778047
https://youtube.com/watch?v=M2gElxBGwjc

“Guh!” you wheeze, looking down at the strange metallic creature with it’s claws in your chest. It’s one of those strange, bird-headed creatures covered in jagged spikes, with both hands full of claws embedded into you. But as you look down, seeing this bizarre creature, you feel something being injected into you. Shocked you let go of the green man, who’s caught by his golem as you try and pull the creature off of you. The spikes on it’s back bury themselves in your hands as you grab it, more of that greasy black fluid seeping into your body as you pull the creature free of you and toss it back at the green man. His eyes widen in surprise, the creature slamming into his face and knocking him off of the golem’s hand.

But you can’t focus on that, as you feel that thing’s poison working it’s way deeper and deeper inside you by the second. You have to act, and now! Dropping to a knee, you take the chime in your hand and begin reciting the sorrowful tale of Caitha, Goddess of Tears. You feel the divine magic flowing through you like water, pushing out that poison the creature’d infected you with. You feel better by the second, and when the miracle ends you find yourself kneeling in a puddle of the dark, viscous fluid.

“Triumph.” you say, something in your gut warning you that whatever this oil-looking poison is, you’d better not just leave it sitting around. Your Stand emerges, once more in it’s normal form, and unleashes a torrent of flames down around you. And the strangest thing, as the flames douse the black poison, it seems almost to writhe in agony. Almost as if that stuff is alive, or at least was before Triumph’s fire burns it away to nothing. “Yeeeeuuuuuh. That’s gross.”
“That’s it! You and your world will suffer for this!!” the green man shouts indignantly, the spiky creature’s form morphing. It changes into a giant, multi-headed monstrosity that screeches at you all. And, even worse, you see that Ichor dripping from it’s many sharp blades. “I will drown your planet in Glistening Oil, and not one of you will live to tell of it!”

KABOOM

Something smashes down onto the golem, crushing it instantly and kicking up a powerful shockwave. You’re blasted off your feet, flipping back once before you’re able to stop yourself. For several seconds you think your Daddy’s back, but as you reach out with your ki sense realize it isn’t him. Whoever this newcomer is, they’re only about five times stronger than your Daddy’s base form. But as the dust cloud clears, you begin seeing the outline of a large, menacing form. Giant horns, powerful tail, and a flowing cape are seen through the cloud. He sweeps his hand, clearing the cloud and revealing the new arrival’s presence.
>>
>>4778050
“My apologies for the sudden intrusion, Lady Guardian.” comes the speaker’s voice, all refined but menacing and sounding very similar to Freeza’s. “But I felt what was going on, and got here as quickly as I could.”
“Excellent timing, King Cold.” Raven replies, you feeling your eyes going wide. Freeza’s dad is now here?! This is big! Huge! “Sorry for not having the artifact ready for you, but we encountered a small problem.”
“I don’t mind.” he replies, grabbing the metal hydra looking creature with telekinesis and lifting it into the sky before crushing it. “Pests do seem to make a habit of finding their way to your world.”

“No, this can’t be! This is impossible!” the green man says, making a red portal right beside him on the ground. “You’ll pay for this! Mark my wor-!”

But his rant is cut short, as King Cold fires a beam from his left thumb behind his shoulder, and it pierces the little green man. Who coughs up blood, and starts falling into his portal. As his head passes through another emerges, a much larger, reptilian head with red scales. And as the wizard keeps falling through the giant dragon emerges, roaring in challenge as the portal closes and the wizard vanishes completely.

“GRRRROOOOAAAAAAAARR!!” bellows the red dragon, breathing a column of fire into the air. Which, to your complete surprised is suddenly answered!
“GRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” roars a familiar dragon, you turning to see the best sight all day! He’s back!
“D-Daddy!” you shout, hearing startled noises from the others but your eyes are only on him, and his returned Stand! He’s really back!
“Hey kiddo, sorry that took so long.” he says, walking forward and placing his left hand comfortingly on your head. “Now, how about we finish this up?”

All this really drives home to me (besides the fact that even somebody as sweet as Caulifla has their limits) is that Karn, much like Ubo, has a massive glaring weakness to magic.
We've really gotta find some way to counter magical strategies besides splattering the wizard before they can cast anything.

From what I can tell, most non-prepared magic requires incantation.
Incantation requires the ability to speak.
A death beam to the throat, as one of THE quickest attacks shown to date, should go a long way in hampering magic users if it doesn't kill them.
>>
>>4778409
Everyone has their limits. As for magic users, Karn has the best counter available to him. Friends, family, and allies. No one can be excellent at everything, especially countering everything. But by building your alliances, especially those with skills you lack like Raven, Aku, CHILLI(who you could have written in to bring into the Daretti fight), etc, your team becomes unbeatable. As a unit, this Universe 7 will actually be able to conquer all the others’ combined, aside from Jiren.
>>4778433
Taking out vocal components will reduce what they can do, except for abilities like Daretti’s scrap mastery. All he had to do was snap. Although, much more stress is on the mage than a brawler. Just ask Tanya
>>
>>4778433
I mean, we could also just rip out their throats via telekinesis.
But that's the thing, just about all of options rely on two things
>being aware of the magician
>reacting to their presence
As shown by us getting thrown outside space and time, that's not always gonna work out.
We got lucky with Ajani dialing our metaphysical number, but who's to say that's always the case?
Who's to say they won't just teleport us to the center of a star instead?
Or what if they have fucking death magic?
We need to find someway to boost our passive magical defenses.
Our Wolf Knight Greatsword is a step in the right direction since that thing seems to hold up to anything that can be thrown at it.
But unfortunately, like right now, we're not always gonna have it on us.
Some type of ward cast on us, an enchanted artifact, magic-resistant alloys woven into our armor, etc...
We're gonna need something to give us an edge on the arcane.
>>
>>4778455
>CHILLI(who you could have written in to bring into the Daretti fight)
I am not interrupting our son's honeymoon for some fatass goblin in a mobility scooter.
>As a unit, this Universe 7 will actually be able to conquer all the others’ combined, aside from Jiren.
That's all well and good, but there's gonna be times when we're not gonna be able to act as a unit.
Shit happens, and while training to fight as a unit is something we should be doing, we also have to acknowledge that sometimes you gotta be able to handle things yourself.
The best hunters don't take the biggest game in packs after all.
They draw em out, alone, and out of their element.
>>
>>4778459
But isn’t that ALL combat though?
For most mages to teleport you into a star(on purpose), they would have had to have BEEN there before. And not many can claim that.
You have good defense, against attacks. But you smashed a relic that, when destroyed, throws you and itself out of that dimension. That sword is pretty magically-resistant, due to being made of divine magic older than anyone you’ve met of your own timeline.
>>4778472
They’re not married, yet. Just getting things ready for the big day and practicing their couple spell.
Yes, being independent is useful. But one person simply cannot be prepared to handle every sort of threat in existence. Especially in a universe as wide and varied at this one. And checking the physically strongest, the assassins, most undead, and immortals as your prey is already casting quite a wide net.
>The best hunters don't take the biggest game in packs after all.
The Abyss Watchers would like to know your location.
>>
>>4778052
Too bad we arrived too late for the green man to see Karn come back from a place where very few people ever come back from, much less as intact as he is.
>>
Just going to put this out here since GD said we have a lot of options as to "side quests" we can pursue.
Who should we give our old puzzle box to/should we just slap a wish on it now that DDF is active again? I know it might not be as relevant as it once was since it's been so long since we got it, but this might be our best chance to crack it. Using a wish would give us experience to better gauge our wish ability on, but Karn does have a solid contact list to draw on if we wanna pass it off.
Also it just bugs me that we haven't figured it out yet.
>>
>>4778607
>The Abyss Watchers would like to know your location.

We should pursue the trade chain side quest to get our ultimate weapon.
Box goes to the lead architect of the ruins -> he gives us an ancient hammer -> we give the ancient hammer to a giant smith -> giant smith asks us to get special water that flows from the otherworld -> we have to bribe the guards with undersea fruit that grows in the crab kingdom -> we have 10 minutes to get the water to the smith before the mystical properties wear off -> he merges this timeline’s wolf knight greatsword with the one we have

The reference is mostly how JRPGs often have at least one big trade-chain quest, where you give something to someone who gives you something to give someone else who gives you something to give you someone else who gives you something to give you someone else who gives you something to give you someone else who gives you something to give you someone else who gives you something to give you someone else who gives you something to give you someone else AND THEN you finally end the quest (which required you to have access to every area of the game most likely) with getting one of the best items in the game for one of the characters.
A popular example is the Biggoron Sword in Ocarina of Time.
