Hell, you're pretty sure she even envies some of the Alter-Ego for their further development while she has mostly remained unchanged since her conception, though she's chilled out just a little, thankfully.

Of course, the more advanced stuff can sort of be translated from both what she can do in a digital realm to what is generally possible with magecraft, but the basic knowledge of how to properly use Magic Circuits is something that BB probably doesn't have. Which is hilarious. If you had to compare it to something, it wouldn't simply be that she learned how to run before she could walk, it would be more like learning how to perform advanced acrobatics instead of learning how to walk instead. "Of course, it's really up to BB how she feels about this too."

"Really? You're... really going to offer me something like that?" BB sounds a little bit surprised by your sudden offer of kinship to Sakura. You don't know why she's that surprised though, while you may have originally had some dislike for her, she should've already realized that you seem to have a weakness to those who share Sakura's face and in her case, aspects of her personality. You just don't seem to find yourself capable of holding negative emotions about them for very long.

"Of course. While I'm very much aware of just what you have done and are very much capable of doing, I'm not going to hold your past actions against you if you actually promise to be good for now on, at least for the duration of your stay in my world." You don't really care what BB gets up to in other timelines, those are a very much 'out of sight, out of mind' situation for you. After all, you can't really bring yourself to care for all the other timelines, especially when your version of Alaya doesn't either. After all, there are some timelines that are simply doomed, and there's nothing you can do for them without outright going there to fix them yourself, and while that does sound like it might be interesting, it also sounds like it could be a royal pain in the ass. No, if you're going to ever explore other timelines, it will really only be for your own amusement. After all, so long as your own timeline is fine, there's really nothing that events from other branches could do to effect you. There are a very limited amount of ways that things in other worlds could affect you, and seeing as the Incineration of Mankind and the destruction of Earth's Texture were limited to only the timelines of the worlds of Grand Order, you don't really feel like you'll need to concern yourself with playing timeline police. Well, maybe if Alaya asked you really nicely, you might.

It's also not at all like she'd be able to live a normal life if she returned to Chaldea either, considering that Chaldea only really exists in the first place because human life in that world... doesn't really exist anymore.

now that we have an excuse to talk about Cu cause of the OP image, I think its gonna be like a Medusa situation where Manaka combined multiple servant classes of Cu (Caster, Berserker, Lancer, Saber, Rider, Archer apparently) into one. I think someone said he was fused with Odin, i don't think that's true, i think he's tapping into his Odin powers that are innate in him, especially when he's a Caster. We used rune magic to track down Candle-Kun in that basement. It has the drawback that it takes time to setup, and we usually don't have time when we're casting.

I suppose we could add Truth to runes, but why use a Truth infused fire rune when we can just use Truth fire instead? We did just that to clear Sakura from worms.

Bounded fields take time to setup. We can use it as a trap, but we'll have to lure our opponent to a prepared field. And I don't think we can hide the existence of a bounded field.

It's mostly just that I have more time to write nowadays.
When I finally return to Elegy, it'll probably have the same pace as this quest.
Though I'm not certain whether I should reboot or do a pseudo-sequel for Elegy.
Elegy did plod around for a while, and the early parts of the quest could've done with far more planning than they actually had.

The reason is truth fire takes more energy, so if we can add properties to regular fire at a lower cost it's more fuel efficient. It's stuff I've been thinking of since we had magical boy Shinji. Every time we've made a Rune, it was with physical material.
We don't have any kind of magecraft that would allow us to draw runes with magical energy, and Touko either doesn't have that kind of thing either, or for some reason decided we didn't need the massive advantage of being able to create Runes without material or a surface.

This is why it was suggested in the early threads to take up smoking like Touko. So we can use lit cigarettes to trace runes.

Let's do what Lancer Cu or his master does with runes. Use them on our clothes to boost ourselves or add effects.

Also create some rune rocks that are buffed using truth to get around cast time.

Maybe make some rocks that when placed around the area forms an anti-divine bounded field. Failing that maybe the casters can help create a bounded field that is easily hidden.

The only risk of kiting Cu around is he gets eaten by Orochi as he's Divine, which potentially lets Orochi gain Protection From Arrows on top of all his other skills. Orochi might be able to start vomiting up Gae Bolg projectiles or coat it's hide in the Curriud's bonespikes and be a giant pointy Gae Bolg monstrosity with projectile nullification.

We haven't read a contract in full yet so we don't know if they have specific orders to get vored if they encounter the snake.

Had he done that, you couldn't exactly call him good or evil, but a solid... well, neutral. There is a capacity for good and evil in all people, it's just that some people... are more naturally inclined to take certain paths, you guess.

Well, outside of perhaps Touko, maybe Monica too.

It's probably a new experience for BB to be left completely without power no greater than even a human that she claims to despise. Nyarlathotep really does have a sick sense of humor, doesn't he? To turn the AI who claims nothing but hatred for humanity into one herself. Then again, BB doesn't truly completely hate humanity, so... getting to experience being a human for real might actually be something like an experience she never thought she'd get to actually have happen to her. To truly be able to live life as a human, fully separated from the worries of the Moon Cell and Chaldea, at least for some time. This might be something of a blessing in disguise for BB, in actuality.

It's somewhat surprising that Sakura somehow knew that there was a part of you that wanted to have BB act as a maid. Surprisingly, there are more people in the room than you were expecting. Of course, Medea, Morgan and Tamamo are in the room, all of them are staring down at a shining metal rectangle that seems to be floating in the air, powered by some sort of magic circle underneath it. Clutching to the Medea's robes is Alítheia, who Medea gently pats on the head even while working on the magical creation. Touko is in the room too, staring at the magical item with great interest, she's also not smoking, either because she got a warning from Caster not to smoke around Alítheia, or she just decided that smoking around a kid wasn't right. Then again, Alítheia is pretty much the ultimate dragon, you're pretty certain that she could inhale all the smoke from a damn forest fire and not be any the worse for wear for it. While Alítheia has shown herself capable of wielding Truth, can she still use the flame of a dragon too? Then again, you suppose that Truth can easily take on the form and properties of fire. Alítheia... she really stands to be a terrifyingly powerful being when she's grown up.

Then, tens of thousands of lights begin to show up all around the map, and you are almost blinded. "Excellent. It works as was intended." Tamamo and Morgan look somewhat pleased with themselves, but none look more pleased than Medea herself. "By tapping into the leylines of the area, we created an artifact that can register all the magical energy of everything within the bounds of this city, and by tuning down the sensitivity, we can tune it to only show the presence of Servants..." As the lights dim your attention turns to the forests outside of the city. You see a huge shining light from the Einzbern Castle that overwhelms whatever other lights might be shining in the mansion. There is no light being emanated from the temple, looks like Manaka's bounded fields block that. There are a few more... anomalies though. There's a group of bright lights somewhere to the east of the Einzbern Mansion. A fair distance, a group of... six? There's another four lights to the far south of that group too, and another one that is seemingly traveling all by itself. Then there's a few more things that draw your attention elsewhere in the city, like the strange distortion on the map that makes it look more like a miniature black hole. Something sucking in light rather than giving any off. There's another bright light in the city, while not as great as the one representing Orochi, it's still the second brightest light on the map. Finally, there strangely seems to be two of the lights at the Fuyuki docks. What a helpful device this is!

Scrying the black hole would be a mistake, Tesla would just eat the scrying spell. Scrying on Orochi would probably alert him. I don't have a strong enough opinion about the other options to go against the grain, but I could be convinced I guess.

We should start editing an actual map so it's easier to visualise too. Here's a base with common locations labelled.

Gil was in the expensive part of Miyama Town correct? But last time we checked up he was armoured and moving with Ayaka.

The train line should place anyone travelling into Fuyuki within the area around Shinto Town when they disembark, then they'd need to catch a smaller form of transport towards Rin's house were we currently are. So that was both Waver's group and Wukong + her Master iirc

Oh and if we leave the map active with the normie settings on while someone sits here monitoring it we can track mass civilian deaths as the lights get snuffed out.

Merlin and Gil have shown they can block scrying, but Gil might not have accounted for this. Merlin is another story, seeing as he sees the present so he would be aware and as Morgana had something to do with the map, he's probably ensured he's hidden. We could task Morgana with tracking him, we need information and as an Incubus he likely gives off a unique energy signature. Mordred may be good at unga bunga, but as a king she needs to learn to manage RTS style stuff so she doesn't fall into the same neglect the people hole as her Father. She also needs to keep a leash on her mum, so maybe having Mordred, Morgana and Touko, who we can praise to Mordred as our own teacher can keep tabs on the map while we're out in the field. Touko is capable of using a phone too.

Also, I think we should ask Mordred for her input in this scrying decision, as her Instinct is incredible and if we want her to learn to be a good tactician she should be a part of this kind of information gathering event.

Tamamo should be quite a good tactician considering how much time she spent manipulating emperors actually. That's a quite a bit of trust to put towards her and she'll expect a reward though. She's also Divine and terrified of snek, so she's a must pick for command terminal. The four south might be the set of what's left after the original wolf vore interlude? As they're basically off the map deep into the forest if they're directly south of the 6 east of the Einzbern manor. We can't discount him having summoned another batch, but there's always the possibility either Manaka has left some shadow servants to wander or Cu has conjured up some servant tier familiars. He has dogs, Odin's wolves, Odin's eagles and crows as possibilities. Cu could also be the lone massive signature.
