McSnickers Dickerson, a thing that in the eyes of man is an abomination, while those initiated into the cult call an angel of muder and death. Becoming the Mechanical Angel of Death, he attacked the Nukies who were attacking the station. He succeeded, driving the Nukies to their deaths at the hands of the crew. However these men gave one fatal fuck you to the station before their deaths.

The first part of my body to twitch was of course my hands, which was kinda an odd feeling. I could not feel them, but I knew for sure that I was operating the limbs as they received small amounts of electroshock.

The next to come back was my vision, or what was left of it. It was kinda odd seeing that my single eye was looking down onto the ground, dangling outside of my skull as I shifted my head left to right.

UGH! I do not want to look at my skull right now! Seems whatever he shot at me took what was originally my cranium and blew it across the wall. Luckily it was only a location for a few processors, nothing that would keep me from moving.

Once I was able to fully move my arms, I took my eye and started showing it across the room. It was dark, but it seems I was stuck in some kinda research room. Yeah, right there looks like a full body scanner, and thats a…

[Biology Success]

The mother fuckers stuck me in the Cloner Room. Well at least that explains all the corpses in here at least.

I felt my mechanical lungs take in and out a breath, the systems calming me down as I once again realized I was among a giant pile of corpses. Honestly though things were not too bad, since my next objective was now pretty obvious.

Get my systems to the right standard where I can survive.

First things first I needed to make sure I got some power into my systems. So with a few movements I got my legs underneath me, and I was soon walking over to the cloning console. Sadly the Cloner was dead, no power was making it to the system.

That did not mean there was no power here, and with a grin I turned to the APC for the room. The machine only had the environment active, which considering the dozens of corpses about meant that we were more or less running on minimal power. So with a few wires, I hooked myself into the system and sucked the remaining 15% power from the APC.

Power Systems at Medium Power

Alright I am out of the danger zone, but that does not mean I am done. Next I needed to check and see if anyone is around to help me.

“Hey Everyone, I’m alive here.” I said into the system, “Can someone come to the Cloner and help me get to Robotics?”

[Technology Success]

There was no response, and no response on the radio meant that there was no communications network.

So the power problem is not limited to just Medical, but just about the entire station it seems. I still kinda wonder how the fuck that happens, but I digress on the minor details. Either way, things were fucked and I needed some kinda weapon to get myself around the station. You know, just in case.

So I searched the corpses, soon coming out with a crowbar and toolbox from the corpse of an engineer.

With a small smile I took the tool to the door, and like magic the damned door popped right open.

Nice, this means I can atleast walk around the place.

First things first I need to start the repairs on my body. If I remain a single sighted, heartless creature I am now I might now have any chances of surviving on this station. So with that in mind, I made my way forward and through the halls of medical.

It was of course hard to see in the dark with only one eye, and occasionally I would see something in my vision. Was it just something tricking my eyes or did something really start moving over there?

There was a nasty gut feeling I had, and hell was it bad.

This station was bad.

Fucking hell, what happened while I was knocked out!

Soon I was going through the personless hallway, lights remaining off as I traveled. The only light that was coming in was from a couple holes blasted into the hull, allowing ambient light from space to leak into the station.

In the areas where there was no air, I dashed through as fast as I could. There were about three of those holes, each of which was probably caused by the death of those nukie bastards. Once I was past those though I was home free and infront of science.

It was a little odd passing through the doors going into Science, as each of these were stuck open instead of bolted shut. Still, it was better this was since I cannot open bolted doors.

Soon I arrived in Robotics, the place looking hella trashed. Like other places there was no power, but there seemed to be a bunch of disabled borgs about the place. There were also the fabricators which I might be able to power from my personal power reserves.

However, even as I stand here, I could feel like someone was watching me. It was, unnerving to say the least and having just one eye probably wasn’t helping much there.

>Search the room just in case there are intruders
>Harvest some parts off the diabled bors

Well to be honest power is a very valuable commodity on this station, somehow, so I need to conserve power. Because of that, the next best thing is to start on the Borgs and see what I can get from their corpses. Or is it carcasses, they are technically not human…

None of that really mattered though, as I soon got out some tools and started taking the poor fellow apart.

First thing of course to remove was the head, since that would fix almost all of my problems in a jiffy. With a few movements of the wrench the system came free, and color me surprised when I found that the MMI inside of him was missing.

Actually, a little bit more examination revealed that someone had clawed the damned thing out.

Freaky.

Soon though I got the skull off, and I began the procedure. Since I was going to lose my vision for this one, so this was going to be difficult.

[Technology Success]

This time I took the wrench to my neck, removing the series of bolts out to see what I could do. One by one I removed the bolts, letting the head drop on the floor as I did so.

It was at that moment that I felt something claw at me from behind!

[Mental Integration Success]

I quickly gathered my footing, my senses telling me that someone was there and tried to attack me. What senses, I cannot really say, but this mother fucker just clawed at me.

Wait… Is he the mother fucker who took the brains of the borgs!

Shit shit shit, now is not the time for me to be fighting some bastard!

But, if I don’t I am going to be killed by this mother fucker!

[Lift Restrictions on movement, machine spirits.]

System understands, initiating purpose made operations

Upon lifting the restrictions I felt my body begin to move on its own. However I did not impede the system, and instead allowed it complete control of my motorized functions. Was that really smart, well I don't really know. However the moment the system registered a slam against the foe I knew I was in for a good time.

The machine thrashed and crashed upon the other foe, slamming my fists and toolbox onto what I can only assume was its skull. While I could not exactly tell what was happening, the feeling of my limbs shattering what I could only guess was bone was enough for me.

Of course I recieved a little bit of damage too, the thing threshing and mauling at me as my toolbox was slammed into his skull.

Once that caved in, the creature stopped retaliating and my body tore it limb from limb. Whatever it was, the creature was going to be nearly unidentifiable once I get my damn head back on.

It seemed that killing the target did in fact calm the systems enough for me to take control back, and so I took out a few tools and finally bolted a new head on my body.

[Thank you so fine machine spirits for your service] I hummed to the machines as I got out some equipment, [Now it is time to get some of your brothers back into service.]

It was of course not very hard to remove the arm from the rest of the mass, of course, but damn did the thing look pretty damaged from the outset. However with a welder in hand, I started my work on getting the damned thing repaired and prepared for use once again.

To be honest, when you already have three limbs, it is surprisingly easy to reattach the newest one. One turn of the wrench, another turn of the screwdriver. A little bit of rewiring of course was committed. However in the end I got my fourth limb attached.

I tested out the limb, feeling the movements synchronise with my thoughts. Sadly for now I should probably not attach a fifth or sixth limb, as the last time I did that I was barely sane. In a situation like this, Omnissiah knows what will happen next.

“Alright, let's think about this for a moment.” I said while examining my newest systems, “I am still low enough on power that if I do anything dumb I am dead. Communication is still out. Lastly, of course, something very wrong happened in this station.”

I looked over the corpse, noting how the flesh looked pretty damn green. I could tell something was wrong with the body, but honestly I won't know unless I get a medical scanner.

Now, for the most part it seems the issue with the station is power. How we have no power going through the place still rattles my mind, but that just means something is broken on the station. Hopefully the lack of power did not release the Teslaball…

Anyways, that just means I need to get to engineering. Which means I need to get over there somehow.

>Take the main hallways

We shouldn’t be thinking that a lack of power could have let the tesla ball out. We should assume that the tesla ball IS out, and that it is the reason for the lack of power. No opinions about on our real options, I’ll go with what anons decide.

>>4688502

While I dont really like the idea, disposal is probably the best way for me to get around. With so little electricity going through the system, I am pretty sure the entire damn system is not pressurized and that means it will be kinda safe to crawl in.

In theory, atleast.

So I hefted myself into the unit, my mechanical claws gripping the walls as I was submerged into the unit.

It was hella dark in here, so dark in fact that I don’t think even the night vision is working. However that did not stop me as I continued my way over like some monstrous insect.

Left right left right, I went. Where I was going to end up, I kinda knew.

Yeah, for the most part I was devoted to chance, though I knew that engineering was on the lower end of the station. With that in mind, I tried my best to lake a quick left and then keep on going straight as well as I could.

Left right left right went the spider.

As I went I could not help but hear the growls from above me, like some kinda zombie. However they were less active, and more on the sleeping side of things.

Is that what attacked me, a Zombie? How the fuck did we get Zombies on the station!?

My trip was just about over though, as I hit the dead end at where I think was the edge of the space station. Slowly I crawled my way out of the unit, and I could not really believe my eyes as I looked around.

The place was obviously trashed, with tools and shit going everywhere. However the most obvious things were the three things that were sleeping on the floor. Now that I got a good look at em, I am pretty sure they were zombies.

So that means I… did I kill Zombie Kazreich there just a little bit ago!?

I shook my head, since there was still the cloning system over at Centcom. As long as these people have their souls released, Nanotrasen would resurrect them.

However as I hanged here in the darkness I could not help but hear something buzzing in the air. Looking towards one of the doors I noticed the flashing of what could only be described as lighting.

My Tesla system is still operating, it seems.

>Sneak around the undead, no reason to upset them all
>Go over and start bashing heads open

>>4688635
>>4688740
>>
I was not up to snuff when it comes to fighting at this moment, so it was probably the best idea to make my way over as sneakily as I could.

So I started with my first step, lightly tapping the metal floor as I moved my other leg over the waste disposal unit. It seemed that the subtle taps of metal was not enough to alert them to my presence, which was a nice thing to know.

So I steadily made my was over, slowly going about the room to get to my workshop.

One by one I made my way over, with each soft clank I was getting that much closer to the objective.

I took in and out a breath, the weight of each one resonating in my body.

However I soon made it to the room, and with a smile I swiped my ID card and was slipping through into the place.

It was just my luck, as the Tesla System I had set up earlier was not disabled at all. No instead it was thriving, which made me feel a question off the top of my head.

How the fuck is this still on and the entire station was off.

I have a few guesses of course, since I am pretty sure this system before me is on the closed loop. It would consistently generate its own power, probably charging the batteries I had that one fellow make earlier.

Which meant that this could be repaired, but do I really want that done?

If I fix this problem, the entire damned station is going to wake up. If that were to happen, then I am probably going to be dealing with a lot more dangerous retaliation to my activities.

If I don’t, who knows if I will be able to properly restart communications and get word out there that I am alive here and not to bomb the station!

However, I can salvage some batteries for sure. If I do that, I might be able to operate only the rooms I am in. Yeah, I can probably use myself or some parts laying about.

“Ugh, I’mma just turn the entire damn thing on.” I told myself while grabbing my toolbox.

It was a little hard, since I needed to crawl my way out of the workshop and back through the general engineering area that had the three zombies in. Counter to that risk, it was literally just a door down from my workshop so I did not go very far.

It was kinda unnerving having to get through two pairs of heavily fortified doors, though soon enough I was inside the SMES room. Before me four machines stood, all of which were blinking a redish light.

Seeing that, I kneeled myself down at the system and started to examine its state.

It was fully charge, it seems, but the system for some dumb reason was not delivering power. Maybe it was a glitch in the system, but it was still a really dumb one.

So first things first I turned the machine off, which did no good when it came to getting her operational. System was not budging it seems.

Alright, next up in the procedure was medication known as a Technical Knock. To administer, you just hit the thing as hard as you can!

And with a smack of my hand the system began to vibrate once again, the sounds of electricity flowing through the lines more than enough to make me smile. In an instant half the lights in the room came on, and the atmosphere was actually starting to become active as I smiled.

Thats when the bashing against the door started.

Even if there were two heavily armored doors between me and them, them coming right over and biting on the door was not very much something I wanted. I guess the zombies hate being woken up.

I took a moment and looked about the room, as there was a few things I could abuse. First the doors were metal in nature, so I might be able to shock those mother fuckers with a few thousand volts if I do it just right.

There was also a waste disposal unit to Omnissiah knows where, and lastly I could just go out there and fight them one on one.

>Electricity the door

>>4689727

With a breath I quickly got out a crowbar and wirecutters and got to work. Of course I made sure I had some protection on in the form of insulated gloves, but for the most part it was going to be a partially dangerous act of moving wires around.

Said act of course was moving the wires about, moving them so they would be stuck to the door.

There were a few sparks as I took the cutters to the wire, but nothing was more satisfying than hearing the deep screech as one of the zombies got themselves shocked on the door. Said even of course was followed by the shocking death of the two other undead with a bit of satisfaction within my heart.

I took the wires and once again routed them into the network, then opening the door to be welcomed with the several undead piled onto one another.

To be honest, I don’t really know how these fuckers work, but I have a pretty good feeling that I needed to remove the damned heads to make sure they would not come back.

With the tool box I smashed one head in, his blood getting everywhere that was not convenient for me. I mean come on, why do I need to be covered in fucking blood because of these damned assholes.

I went for the next fellow, removing the brain without much issue as well.

“AAA” The third said while rising up slowly form his place.

“Stay down you mother fucker!” I yelled while taking the toolbox to his head as well.

The fellow did go down, but damn was my guess correct. Which kinda made me wonder, how the fuck we they coming back to life? I could open his up and do a little research on how this corpse is keeping life.

However, that ignores some other problems of mine. For one, I don’t have enough fluids in my system to be at full combat ability. Second, Communications is still down so no talking to the other stations for help. Yeah, seems its still dead for the most part...

Honestly there was little time for me to examine this creature, so I when ahead and did the next best thing and started bashing him over the head with a toolbox. Within a few moments the brains were once again splattered across the floor, and I was able to start making my way out of engineering.

Of course on my way out I made sure to suck a large amount of electricity from the system, putting my internal battery power to its maximum.

Getting out of Engineering was not very hard, as I was now able to just swipe my ID at the airlocks and slip on through to the doors.

The hallway after this all was kinda a mess, I noticed as I walked into them. Trash was strewn everywhere, with lights more or less out. Though as I looked around I noticed how they were most likely punched out, not going out.

It was when I finally got to the main hallway that I noticed their groans.

Just as I assumed before the undead were walking about the station, being woken up by the starting of the power systems.

Taking a glance out into the hallway, I could see them lumbering about as if dulled by the sudden sounds. They numbered about five, which was way more than I am comfortably wanting to attack.

I could try and sneak pass normally without causing issue, which might be possible but not very likely.

I could blow out the lights, which means confusion for them all while I slip by. That of course would be easy enough if I got my hands on an APC and played with the wires a little bit.

Lastly though, I could try and slip into the Maintenance. Though if that has undead as well is going to be a big problem I don’t know the answer to.

To be honest this was not the best situation to be finding myself in, and I kinda regretted turning back on the power to the station. However with each moment of regret I have, there was also the caveat that I now had a space station powered up with electricity.

So without much choice I slipped my way into the maintenance halls. My chances of having a brutal encounter was going to be much lower there than before, but I was going with the idea that there might be issues there as well.

So I slipped my way into there, the place as dark as I remember it. However with my improved vision, it was not very hard to make out places where things were.

Up and through, that was more or less what I had to do to navigate the place.

Of course on my way through I had to run through a place where a giant hole was. I’m pretty sure that is where that Nukie I killed died, the ass.

I made sure to give him my damnedest remark while passing, as I am pretty sure he's the one who caused this problem in the first place.

Fuck him.

So I traveled, making my way through the maintenance until I got to a door labeled Medical. While before I got through there without conflict, with everything waking up I am pretty sure Medical is where a good chunk of the assholes are.

So I took in a breath and pressed the open button on the door. Honestly I should not have been surprised that the door did not in fact open for me. I guess I do not have permissions to get my ass through here and into medical.

So, I do have the tools to just drill my way through the wall. However that might be a little difficult and bring attention to myself. Could try hacking the door, but I might not be very skilled in doing something I never did before.

Lastly, I could run the chance of running into the primary hallway and slipping into medical from there.

I cracked my knuckles and got out the tools from my toolbox. I breathed in and out, patting the door with a smile as I got the multitool.

[Alright my precious Machine, I need your help getting yourself open.] I told it while popping open the wire panel.

[Religion: Fail]

[Technology: Working…]

I started by testing a series of wires, which was more or less just seeing which one of them was the main power source. If I disconnected that, I would easily be able to rip open the door itself.

Wrong choice of words there, but hey atleast the Machine Spirits cannot listen to the inside of my head.

Soon I clipped the right aires, and the sound of the machine powering itself down came into my ear. With a smile I took the crowbar and pryed the thing open, getting my ass into what I guess was the commons room for the Medics.

Once I repaired the door and got it to close, I made my way into the empty room. From here I could look deeper into the main treatment center and was not liking what I was seeing.

There were about five of those damned undead moping around there, each looking pretty hungry if I had to guess. Since there was another door away from the undead, I decided to pop that one open instead. I was now welcomed with an autolathe, a freezer of some kind, and a variety of medicines.

You know, the medicines that are useless for me.

Taking another moment to study the place, it seemed this room also lead to the damned treatment center.

Fuck, so…. What do I even do here?

>Check out the Autolathe for whatever it can even make
>Check those medical supplies, maybe there is something highly lethal among them
>See if the freezer can be modified

Things seemed a little useful, but in the end the autolathe seemed like the best bet for my survival. So I walked my shiny ass over there and started pressing a few buttons to see what exactly I could manufacture.

There were a variety of things, the main being the series of surgical equipment that I could use. Said equipment would probably give me the best chance in killing those fuckers. Only problem is that its just surgical equipment and I will not be able to really fight them all unless I get lucky.

On the other end of the spectrum of tools, it looks like there are a few things I can manufacture. The boards for a sleeper and stasis bed are there. Now that I think about it, having a stasis bed might be able to trap these undead in a suspended state of not killing me.

That would be a mean thing to do, but clever.

Sans all that, seems a DNA scanner and Computer can both be built. Maybe if those scanners have a locking feature of them, I could just stuff the zombies into them and be done with it. Though I kinda wonder if I can get dna modifications myself since I still have a few organs left.

>Surgical Equipment for the slaughter
>Stasis bed to immobilize the undead
>DNA scanners to trap the undead and maybe turn them into monkeys

Got it

>>4691999 - I'll do you one better!
>>
It only took me a moment to realize what exactly I should build here, and I had to pat myself on the back for the genius I was about to unleash upon these damned undead. First things first was getting myself some damned metal and forming said metal into a couple of pipes.

Once I got some manipulated metal, I went ahead and printed out a nice and perfectly ethical circular saw from the system. However this was not going to be its final form, and I could not help but smile on what I was going to become.

A few changes to the blade, while attaching the metal rods to one end of the device. All of this was enough to fixed up with a welder to the metal and taduh, I got myself a mother fucking mace saw.

Next was probably the most brilliant of my schemes, which mainly took the form of just building a table off to the side. Said table was made of low quality iron, but I did not need anything too special for this to work. Add in the fact that my little crafting project had already alerted the undead to my presence, and we were going to be gooood.

I guess one of them had an ID card, as the door opened right up to welcome it in. The creature lombard to the table, soon grabbing it like it was trying to get its ass on top of it. Being the genius I was, I reached out with my stronger hand and yoinked the creature right into the table.

It did not even last a few seconds as I drove the saw right through its head. Blood and green gore was thrown everywhere as I made sure there was going to be no more brain in there.

By the time I had slaughtered the good doctor, the next one had finally gotten himself onto the table, which I gave the good ol’ one two slam on his brain hungry ass.

Of course in the middle of this I wondered if I was by chance losing my humanity, slaughtering these people like it was nobody's business. However I am reminded they are not actually dead since they serve Nanotrasen and will probably be resurrected.

With that I followed through with the rest, making short work of their stupid fleshy hides. I was kinda curious why I was not dying to these creatures, then I reminded myself I was more machine than man now and probably secured whatever organs they infect. 0

Soon the dead were dead, and I happily looted the one that kinda looked like a chemist and finally got my way to chemistry.

Taking a quick look at the machines before me, it looks like they are already prepared to give out some of the more advanced fluids. The ones I was mainly looking at of course was oil, but a little searching around the place of course got me some blood packs of my type available.

[Biology: Success]

Though this does give me an idea. Maybe if I just went that little step forward, and replaced my internals with not blood but an oil based form of it. I am already so close to a machine, and if I do this, I might not need oxygen any longer and just need electricity.

That means soon I could survive in space or not need air anymore.

It is a brilliant idea, something that I should employ much more here later on. The main issue is that I must make the chemical a reality, which means a little pesky manipulation of all the chemicals that are before me. At the very least I got this book here to tell me how to create oil.

So I got to the distributor and started pouring, mixing about the various chemicals to see what exactly I could create. Welding Fuel, Carbon, and hydrogen are all mixed into a single cup equally to create the chemical. With that I can honestly say that the concoction was at least usable.

Next I needed to do the more difficult part, which was mixing the two fluids.

Uh, shit.

I guess I can just mix it with a bunch of other medical and hope that it works out?

I took in and out a breath, mixing the two together and adding a little bit of other medicines. Honestly I do not know if this will work properly, but I will at least be able to stay alive long enough to see tomorrow.

So like an old ass car, I popped open a valve and started pouring the substance into my body. It felt weird as my body was slowly being filled up with its newest edition of fluid, but atlast we will see if it can succeed where my previous systems failed.

Yup, lets see how this works….

However the results of that will not be found out till later, for now I needed to get started on the last few things needed to be figured out.

Communications was a big one, being that I needed to get myself talking to my fellows across the sector. The next will be this damned zombie problem, as I am pretty sure I got a sure fire execution method with power now.

Though now that I thought about it, there was one problem I could not rub off. Something was still off about this situation and I should probably explore the station a little bit to find out.

>Communications is probably a good idea
>Killing zombies damn it!
>Look around the station, something is off.

>Communications is probably a good idea.
I'd love to investigate but duty calls. I don't want to get nuked.
>>
>>4692862
>Communications is probably a good idea
One caveat with communications is that NT might just decide to send a deathsquid instead of nuking us. And NT deathsquads are most definitely not known for recovering crewmembers.
>>
>>4692898
I don't think it'd be an entirely bad thing for them to send the deathsquad for cleanup considering the zombie infestation. At this point the station needs a full cleanup and repair jobs. Thanks to nuke ops.
>>
>>4692862
>Communications is probably a good idea.
We got any non-zombie survivors on station?
>>
>>4692909
Again, deathsquads are famous for not being discriminatory in their firing policy. The general policy is 'If its not wearing our armor, shoot it until it stops moving". If we call in a deathsquad on ourselves, we better have an escape route.

I took in a breath, as now was the time I get started on my next objective. Of course that objective was going over and getting the damn communications back on line. If I do that, I can probably get contact established with Nanotrasen and then get myself off this damned death station.

So I made my way to the hallway, and of course some of the undead were making their way over to try and murder my ass.

[Weapon’s Skill: Success]

There were two of them, and two of them soon lost their heads as I gave them the old one two punch! Well really it was a saw to the face, but like I saw going to complain to anyone. I even noticed one of the zombies I was murdering had a certain ID on them that I was wanting.

So with two headless zombies behind me, I traveled my way over to Communications with the ID of the signal tech in my possession.

Getting in was kinda odd, of course, as it seemed to have security matching the earlier workshops. However I was able to get my ass in there and right into the room overlooking the systems.

There was a giant hole in the left side of the room, caused by what I can only guess was a bombing attempt by the nukies. Popping over to the control panel, it seems that a majority of the systems were still going to be operational but my signal was all messed up.

[Bluespace: Failed]

I… don’t have any fucking idea what I am doing here. That much I will admit right off the bat. I might be able to head in there and start working on the devices, or I can look into seeing if anything is interfering with the signal. I mean, there might be enough devices over there to get the signal out, I’m just wondering how the fuck its not firing.

I could always just fire off a signal though and see if anything or anyone catches it.

>Look around for signal interference
>Go in and start repairing equipment
>Fire off a signal to see if any can get it
>>

We can try asking the machine spirits to help us repair them while we run diagnostics on one of the terminals? Usually connection software gives an error report that says why it can't send a signal or where the signal cuts off.

I gave a sigh, as really the best thing I could do right now was start working on the telecommunications network. Really it was probably not too hard to pull off, but I also had the feeling that something grave could go wrong if one was not careful about the set up.

Yeah, just by grabbing a nearby book I was bombarded with what looks to be a mess of set ups and such. I mean I did not realize communications was this damned complicated.

[Oh machine spirits, please help me.] I implore the machines while getting out a wrench and repairing the destroyed pieces of machinery.

Slowly but surely I was repairing each and every system, the light hums of power rang in my ear as frost began to form on my face.

Yeah it is kinda odd seeing as the communications require such a low temperature to operate. If I had to guess they are commonly overtaxed and that's what leads to situations like this one.

[Machinery: Partial Success]

[Faith: Success]

Does not matter, however, as I finally got the last of the systems working. It was to my luck that they snapped themselves back into position, turning on and connecting without much of my help thanks to my employment of the systems.

So color me suprised when I made it back to the console and saw an error going across the screen.

Jamming Detected, cannot contact any nearby stations.

What?

The damned thing is jammed, but what the hell is doing the jamming!?

Of course it was pretty obvious, it was the Nukies. I guess whatever is causing the problems is still in the system and affecting us. Of course, what do I do about it?

>Try and track down the Nukie’s Jammer
>Head to Security and get some better weapons
>Make coms so powerful that it can overcome the jamming
>>
>>4693934
>Make coms so powerful that it can overcome the jamming
>{Oh spirits who guide the relay, grant unto this display the knowledge of the means to overpower the disrupting signal, that we may both recieve service's we both require to survive.}
>>
Try getting it to overpower the jamming.
>>4693953
>>
I shook my head at the sight, as it was pretty stinkin obvious what I needed to do. That was of course trying to create a more powerful relay system to actually send out a message to Nanotrasen.

I scratched my head for a moment in thought, as of course I needed to figure out how exactly to do that. I am a roboticist, and becoming a researcher in engineering was as close as I was going to get to anything.

Yeah, thats really bothersome.

So with that in mind I decided to try and emplore the machines themselves, [Oh Spirits, please grant upon me the knowledge to overpower the jamming so that we may survive this.]

I listened for a response, something that could give me a chance to improve it. However the spirits did not give me anything.

Yes, that kinda does confirm a theory I have been crafting with the machines. Simply put, each machine is built with purpose and is angled towards that purpose by my prayers. I might be able to manipulate it to do something similar for me, but it cannot do entirely new things like teach me its set up or self invent.

If it did that it would technically be an AI, I guess.

So with a sigh I brain stormed for a moment, as really I could come up with a few ideas here.

First of course was to try and build some kinda structure to help the signal be carried along, ala, a giant radio disk. If I did that, I might be able to circumvent the singal jammer and make my way from there. Just means I need a LOT of metal to pull it off, and to choose my materials carefully.

Next is maybe track down some bouncer radios and start putting them together in a bid blob. If I did that, there is a good chance I could create an abomination capable of sending something out, if not breaking the jammer somehow.

Lastly, of course, I just dump loads of electrity into the systems already here. That however means I need to modify them with new parts and such, which will be a little bothersome.

>BIG DISK
>Bouncer Abomination
>Overload
>Write your own idea

between this and how we made the tesla, we seem to have a specialty in engineering. Jamming a buncha shit together.
>>
>>4694536
The whole point of overpowering was we don't exactly have the time to track down the jammer.
If communications doesn't have the radios on hand they might have something like a pre-concieved model we can put into an autolathe. other than that, the crew should have had handhelds and other short wave radios we could probably nig-rig into something functional.
>Bouncer Abomination
>>
I say we go for breaking the jammer, if it's sophisticated (syndi shit often is.) It may run on the principle of screaming louder than the sent frequency and changing to accommodate the change. So if we make this thing change frequencies too fast for the jammer and at extreme variance it might cause the jammer to blow out it's relay.

No clue, but I'm personally running off /vg/ shit in regards to my approach to this quest. I'm surprised there's no powergaming cucks here so far. No clue what this "romerol" is supposed to be other than some zombie substance. There's two types of zombies in /vg/ that I can recall. One is mob zombies, which are just mobs like any other with no player control and potential infectiousness (though I could be wrong). The other type are player-controlled zombies only made by a wizard's staff of necromancy as far as I can recall. They can overpower open airlocks and move like players and do some basic things like drag objects, but they cannot grab and hold items to use themselves, and their only leftclick action is to bite attack the target. They are also loyal to the wizard above all else, as well. This thread's episode is definitely interesting, as I wouldn't expect nuke ops to be packing zombification shit. Speaking of nukes, they probably all failed and their nuke is still unarmed somewhere on the station. If that's the case, all we need is to clear up comms and reach out to survivors, meet up, and work to call the shuttle out. Snickers accomplishing at least one objective would help to not make this ordeal a complete waste of time though.

In the end there was really only one option to use, and that one was duct taping a bunch of different things together in a silly attempt to create an abomination. Sometimes I wonder if this way of thinking has any problems with it, as I am like, 50% sure that it goes against the principles of the Mechanicus.

At this point however I must neglect it and become what I am, the Frankenstein of the Cult. This is my only path to survival, and that is that!

So with a fire in my belly… I guess brain at this point, I went over and grabbed all the radios that were available to me. That number was sadly only three.

So with a sigh I made my way out of the Communications Chamber and about the hallway, searching for some amount of radios.

I think I saw a few over at Medical, but sadly not enough for my schemes. Engineering does not have too many either, for some dumb reason. That only left really three locations to check out.

The first I could think of was of course Security. If I remember correctly those officers always carried one on them. If that is the case, I could grab all their bouncers from over there.

Next was of course Command at the bridge. While I did not see too many over there, I might still need to get in there to just send out the message itself.

Lastly, I think cargo would-!

[Mental Integration Failed]

Before I could finish that thought, I dodged to the side as a barrage of gunfire went in my direction. I took about two bullets, dodging the rest as they slammed into a nearby wall.

I turned towards the hole where they came from, and could only shake my head at what I saw.

A giant ship was there, turrets lined up and ready to shoot whoever was going to come near. I reached into my memory and soon shook my head at what I remembered.

Nukies arrived at the station at Cargo, that is the Nukie’s mother fucking ship!

The mother fuckers are still here!?

I shook my head, thinking about it for a moment. Its probably more like the Nukies never got the chance to leave the station. That however meant the jammer was most likely on the ship. That was very good to know.

Well since Cargo was out I guess only command and security are avalible. Of course I can start collecting radios from the undead, but that will probably be more time consuming than anything else.

>To Security
>Command in the plan
>Collect radios off the Zombies

If character is too incompetent, story cant progress in a good pace and players suffer.
If character is too competent, the story gets short-circuited and goes either out the window or some really weird places that are often too weird to be entertaining in the long run.

I looked towards the ship from my little corner of the undestroyed wall, the ideas already forming inside my head. I soon gave a smile, knowing exactly what I wanted to do here.

Simply put if I get on the ship, I can turn off the damned jammer and be home free!

So the next idea formed in my head, which was how to get my ass over towards the ship. With it another idea formed in my mind and I got out some metal sheets I was holding onto.

Soon I got myself a large shield made from a wall grate and a bunch of metal. With a small push forward I-!

Shit!

Before I could get a few meters into Cargo the shield I was using was shot up by numerous bullets. I would not have been too worried about that, but when the metal fell apart like it was tissue paper it was pretty obvious that this was not working out for me!

So with a dash I threw myself back behind my previous, safe, cover. My leg got nailed a couple of times by the bullets. While it was modestly painful, a few touches of the welder was enough to fix them right up.

Once I was behind the cover I took a breather, thinking about what exactly happened.

After a moment’s breather, I decided to run a few little tests. First of course was sticking my hand out and seeing if the thing would shoot em right away. There was no attempts by the turret, and now that I think about it I was not shot up by simply poking my head out.

Hmm, if that's how the systems work than that means the system might be aiming for my center of mass. That of course left the question, if there was something that allowed the Nukies to get pass their own turrets which I do not.

I patted the PDA holding my ID for another moment’s thought, it was most likely they had some kind of ID that told the machines they were friendly. If I was skilled enough, I might be able to mimic that kind of ID. However, testing it would mean a lot of bullets being sent my way.

I could always look for some tougher metal, as something around heres gotta be tougher than those bullets. This is a research station after all.

Lastly, I could get some guns together and just shoot the system out.

Though… what are the chances that a Nukie is still on the station? Yeah they blow up when they die, but...

>Experiment with your ID *Give me a number between 1 and 10*

More about the convenience of it. Or rather what's more practical. If the machines on the ship that saves us the trouble. If not. Well. Hopefully the syndies didn't break all their toys and we can get something to help us find it.
>>
It was pretty obvious that I needed to do, and that would only take a trip over to Robotics to take care of. That being getting a gun, and making said gun was going to be made by me.

It did not take terribly long as I traveled down the hallway, though as I did those undead were more pesky than hell. One two slash, I murdered at least five undead as I arrived at Robotics. Considering this station was filled with a few hundred people, I was going through undead like they were oil at a convent.

Once more I made the weapons, using some glass to make the glass tip of the laser and the laser part out of actual fucking lasers.

When I was getting a second gun made I noticed something very odd was happening.

However, it was then that I noticed the amount of undead traveling in the hallways were starting to increase at a surprisingly rate outside my window. Maybe they were starting to come out of the workshop, or the numerous corpses I have been stepping around were just the dead not yet awake.

Yup, things were starting to get really bumpy weren’t they.

However I did not feel too frightened, since I had the chance to slip on through using the maintenance as my way of course.

Soon I arrived back at Cargo, and this time with a gun in my hands. Omnissiah help me in this, because I know for certain I am a lousy shot.

[Ballistics Skill: Long Time]

Shot after shot I did, which around a corner meant it was pretty fucking hard to hit the target. Being the shitty shot I was, the bolts were just not slamming themselves into the turret. I think out of an entire charge, which was about ten shots, only one of the fuckers actually hit the damned turret.

It did not help as midway through I was once again attacked by the undead. This time I gave them a fucking axe to the face, along with a pair of laser bolts to the stomach. That made short work of them, but damn I was getting close to losing it here.

After that though I finally got the turret down, walking into a destroyed Cargo being my reward. From here I could see the door was locked shut with what looked to be a shutter, but I am an Acolyte of the Omnissiah with all the time in the world.

With the turret destroyed I made my way closer to the ship, looking at its dark grey and red exterior. If I had to be honest it was one hellish piece of work, but after that I could not really judge it much better.

Yeah, I never really got into studying space ships. Being a clown would do that to you, and now that I have become a tech abomination I wonder. Yup, I am definitely not the man I was when I first joined Nanotrasen.

And I have only been working here for about three months.

Cursing myself for this kind of life, I made it to the small button that was sticking out of the hull. Getting out my Multitool, I started picking at the small electronics that were in it.

[Technology: Success]

Took a while, but the button finally surrendered to my advances and was activated. The shutters were released, and I was free to enter the ship.

The inside was similar to the outside, with a dark grey and red furnishings. Strung about the place was several things that I am pretty sure would be worth a pretty dollar, like the series of space suits and the small medical bay in the corner.

However the one thing that got my attention was the mother fucking nuclear bomb sitting in the corner.

To say my heart skipped a beat upon seeing it was an understatement.

A glorious piece of devastation, I am sure the Mechanicus would love it if I delivered it into their care. There was also the fact the core’s value would be immense, and if I got it correctly I might be able to use it as an internal powersource for my body.

That was only a day dream though, as I turned from there I finally found what I was here for.

It kinda looked like a relay for a standard communications systems, but the variety of glowing lights gave its purpose off. While I wanted to destroy it, would it be right to destroy technology like this? Would the Machine Spirits not be angered by my act?

When it comes down to it, even if a piece of equipment is working for the enemy it must always be cared for. For they all have Machine Spirits that are obedient to the Omnissiah, and thus I am to help them serve him.

With that thought I pressed the button, turning off the systems.

With that done and over with, I decided to make my way away from the deck of the ship and towards the bridge.

It was a little scary, seeing all the red computers littering the place as if they were for some evil act. Well they were for some evil act, but I digress! The main reason I was here was to look at the systems and see what exactly can I get out of them.

First thing that was pretty obvious was that the ship seemed to be operated by a series of computers. Looking over them, the systems seemed to have been locked onto two differnt locations that was only meant to navigate between them. This of course these were the space station and but also some random ass ice planet.

From my guess, this was the reason there was no real pilot here. The delivery system would be automated, meaning there was no unlucky lad I could kidnap to drive me home.

I felt like hitting the computers, but really there was no point in doing so. It would only anger the machine spirits if I were to do so.

Well anyways my situation has changed lots from the last time I looked it over. Now I was the sole operator of a spaceship, however the ship would need work if I were to land somewhere other than a Syndicate base of operations. However doing so would mean I can ditch this burning heep of a station without much worry.

Next to that, with the jammer turned off I will be able to connect to Centcom. If I were to report in, I might be able to get a personal shuttle sent over to grab my ass and get me off the station. Though now that I think about it, there is always the chance they shoot me by declaring the entire ship unsalvageable.

Yes I could have ran away from the station, take the damned space ship and be on my way towards the stars. However I had a job to do, and I was not wanting to become a damned fugitive.

So with that in mind I got off the shuttle, making sure to close the door behind me as I did so.

My trip over did not take very long, ending up at the bridge where I am pretty sure the communications terminal is. While normally I could not have been able to get into the damned place, I was given the chance as the undead corpse of the Captain came shambling out trying to eat my face off.

Thus I just punched the fucker in the face and sawed his brain into pieces.

Why was he here, I cannot really say. Maybe he was hiding from the undead and just didn’t realize he was infected, or maybe instead the fellow was here to try and get some help for the station.

Does not really matter in the end, as I removed the ID from his corpse so that I could activate the terminal.

The communications terminal, unlike the previous Syndicate Red terminals, was a nice blue color. With a few button presses I was linked directly to Centcom, as it seems all my work was successful.

I took in a breath and started typing on the display.

High Sec Station: Hello Centcom, I am Project Director McSnickers Dickerson. We previously had a Singal Jam thanks to a few Nukies but I was able to disable it. Can you, like, send some people over to help me?

Centcom: Hello McSnickers, it is good to have contact with you again. We have it on record that your station has been blacked out for five days, and that we have recovered a majority of the crew through cloning.

The screen stopped for a moment as if the person was getting a little bit more information.

Centcom: Nice to see you alive, McSnickers. Seems I was right about your tendency for having stations blow up. Anyways, what is the situation on the station?

I knew for certain it was that damned Chairman who took over the line. Fucking asshole was probably taking a bet that I would destroy this station.

Then again I owe the Magos money too, damn it.

Just state the situation.
We've got power on, everyone we met so far was a zombie, no idea how that happened, no living in sight, but we didn't really check the whole station. No nuke ops in sight, but again, we didn't really check and their ship is still docked. We are not suffocating at the moment, so atmos should be relatively ok. All in all, I would say that the station is a very recoverable mess.
The experiment we were supposed to conduct turned out to be a success tho, so it all balances out.
Ask whether there is something they want us to do before we leave/get evacuated, we may be the last soul on the station afterall.

Honestly while I wanted to kinda lie and fuck with this bastard, I shook my head at the thought. It would not be becoming of me if I allowed myself to fall for the pitfalls of humanity and instead tell the fellow a nice blended truth.

High Sec Station: Things went kinda alright, ish. Station has power thanks to my Tesla Engine and some nice air around here. Main problem is that we were attacked by a bunch of Nukies and Zombies. Nukies were defeated since we are still on the station, but the Zombies overran us all.

Centcom: Is that so? How many of the undead are around?

High Sec Station: Quite a few really, though I have been killing them while walking around the station.

Centcom: And you are sure that the Nukies have been defeated?

High Sec Station: You are correct there. I have taken control of their ship so even if they were I wont let them leave.

There was a pause in the communications as if the guy was thinking. Somehow, I got the feeling he had a bunch of his fellow operators around him talking about what to do about the situation. And I could tell they were laughing.

Centcom: Is their nuclear payload still on that ship?

High Sec Station: I can confirm it is, why?

Centcom: This is not a direct order, more like a request for you to ship something to the syndicate base?

High Sec Station: You want me to drop a nuke on them?

Centcom: I am specifically not saying you should drop a nuke on them for that would be a war crime. I am just suggesting you drop by to get some surveillance and drop off a package to them. Interested?

This mother fucker wants me to drop a nuke on them.

High Sec Station: I will do it, but I am going to need some overtime for doing this.

Centcom: Name your price.

High Sec Station: Get me the highest ranked Robotcist and Tech-Priest avalible. My body is in need of severe repair after everything that has happened.

Centcom: That is an easy price to follow, I am sending you the directions now. Be sure its shipped express.

There was a small ring coming off the computer, and soon a small piece of paper began crawling out of the device. I could only smile as I read the contents.

2064

Centcom: Oh, and be sure to grab the Nuclear Disk Active Captain McSnickers, it is a requirement that you carry the disk as Captain.

I nodded, taking the hint to take the small device from the Captain’s body. It was a little hard to get to of course, being that it was inside both a bookbag, box, and bible for some reason. Then again he probably did not want to let anyone have the disk, so he made sure it was in there tight.

It was a small green disk, but it was the key to utter destruction of anything in my hands.

Refuel the welder. Make sure we got a good amount of metal sheets on us. Get a few bottles of oil in case we need to blaze somebody or fuel up. Grab a drink or two from the Bar for celebrating afterward. Call on comms if there's any survivors on board or not, get the rundown from anybody that responds. If there's any sweet loot on the syndie ship OR within safe reach on the Syndie Base we can smuggle back to our home in the Hive City, we should grab one (though it should be something easy to smuggle and not some big-ass minigun or something) before we ditch the ship. Remind ourselves of our objectives given to us by the AdMech and accomplish what we can in the time available. Use our Captain access to raid the Captain's quarters and grab a souvenir for our weedbro back home.

Well, captain disc and research notes disc for mechanicus are obvious, make sure they are stashed somewhere secure on our person, maybe even inside our chassis.
I support riding captains quarters for a souvenir, whether one for weed back home or something more practical for us.
Make sure to grab some supplies/materials and tools, just in case(we totally should get swiss army arm that has build-in multiple tools by the way, maybe request one as an upgrade)
Also, actual weapons from security wing, its supposed to be a hisec station, Im sure they have some good firepower lying around and we may (hopefully wont)need it.

I thought through the things that I need, first tapping the disk containing my objective from the mechanicus. Honestly this has been one hell of a job, though I lost my bet against the Magos when it comes right down to it.

I'm out two hundred credits because of that.

Next was to see what kinda fun things I can get out of the Captain’s Quarters. Since I have gained the position through the deaths of everyone else, I might as well get some cool shit from here.

The room was modest, if looking really fucking ransacked. I guess the Nukies somehow got in here, so they tore it a new one looking for either the disk or the captain. It was my luck though, as I looked upon the ground and saw something with Sovereign in the name.

On quick inspection it was your standard looking pistol, the weapon a combination of white and grey. However the magic happened after I took a few test shots at the wall.

The fucking gun recharges.

With that I also looked around for some other things available. Checking out the personal vending machine, I grabbed the Captain’s cloak and slipped it on. I was looking quite fabulous in it, and I was sure as hell going to keep this for the trip back home.

With my little extension done I went through Cargo, dropping by the autolathe to get myself some more welder fuel and metal. You know, since I was going into hostile territory I might as well prepare myself for the eventual being littered with bullet holes problems.

With all that finished I checked out the goods that were afforded to me from the Nukie’s ship, which was fuck nothing. Seems they already grabbed everything useful and probably carried it onto the station to wreak havoc on us Nanotrasen Bastards.

With that done, I made my way to the bridge and pressed the button. It was time to make a delivery.

I sat myself at the captain’s seat of this nasty little Spaceship. Simply put my objective was to drive in, drop the nuke off, and then see what happens.

Really simple, right?

Yeah it actually was for the first time in a while.

With a simple press of the button the ship started its count down, soon sending me into slipspace towards the Syndicate Base.

This time will be the more crucial, but not very hard part of the operation. I left the seat, getting my ass to the rear of the ship and smashing open the glass that was holding the blasted thing in.

With a smile I dragged it out, I brushed my hand across the nuclear bomb. It was the most dangerous device in the known universe next to planet crackers. I have been given the right to deliver this baby to the Syndicate station, and fuck yeah I was going to enjoy it.

Soon I came to a crashing halt, the sound of things being crushed underfoot coming to my ears. However I did not really care about senseless murder, I was here to commit a god damn war crime.

With a pull I brought the device towards the docks, my hearing picking up the first human voices in little less than a week.

“Sammy! Nooo!”

“What the fuck, is that a Battle Cruiser!”

“Doesn’t that one look a little damaged?”

“Someone is- FUCK!”

Before the men guarding the doc had the chance, I opened fire and started shooting the bastard with several rounds of laser fire. Three guns were enough to get the point across that I wanted them to take cover, though I think I killed two guys already.

“Nothing too personal fellas.” I said as I finished typing in the code, “Think of this as a late birthday present.”

With oily tears forming in my eyes, I quickly ran my ass back into the shuttle and pressed the launch command. With a smile I got out a small roll of weed and lit it alight, my ears ringing with the sudden liveliness of the place.

I could already feel McArthur looking down upon me, my brain running one of those old nuclear era tunes in my ear.

And like that, the ship I was riding in quickly sent itself into the stars.

It was not a long time in slipspace, but damn was it really unnerving to be here. I really fucking hope that the damned bomb went off, for that might be my most glorious thing I have ever commited in my life.

Here just a few months ago I was a simple clown serving some random ass children’s birthday party. Now that I have gone far beyond that, and become death itself to what I think is atleast a few hundred unsuspecting people.

Well, you get what you sow Syndicate. You try to Nuke us, well I will just come by and nuke you back.

After what was about ten minutes in slip space, my Ship finally came to a screeching halt and stopped itself right at cargo. Getting out of my chair, I stretched my limbs while getting out of the chair.

As I got out of the ship, I was not expecting a small party of armored people to be waiting for me.

“Acting Captain McSnickers Dickerson?” a fellow in red and black armor asked while walking up to me.

“Yes that is me, what do you need?” I asked while trying to make myself look as presentable as possible.

“We are Red Emergency Response Team Beta, with orders to rescue you from this damned station.” He answered while giving me a peace of paper, “I need you to sign this here document.”

High Sec Station was destroyed in a nuclear explosion, and that I witnessed it while off station.” I gave it a once over, “What exactly is this here?”

“I have only been asked to give this to you, Captain.” He answered while shaking his head, “My guess, they are going to turn this station into a black sight to study the zombies aboard it.”

“That sounds really dangerous.” I told them as I popped out a pen and gave it my signature, “But what can I do, I am basically an indentured servant to Nanotrasen. And you are not going to shoot me right?”

“Nope, thats not our job.” He answered while taking the paper from me, “If they wanted to do that they would have sent a Death Squad after you.”

“That sounds peachy.” I answered while falling in line, “Well, guess we are getting off this damned ship?”

“Yes, if you will follow us to the shuttle we will deliver you to Central Command.”

He did just as he said, though damn I was not expecting the trip over there to be so easy. Any zombie that came close to the team was wiped out with indiscriminate gunfire. I felt like I should tell them they should break their skulls open, but we were not hanging around long enough for that to really matter.

Soon we ended up on a fucking nice ship, the place much more clean and slick than this damned station. Any undead who approached the damned thing were instantly shot down without hesitation.

Within moments I was in my seat and the ship was sent flying towards centcom.

I sat there for a moment, my robotic eyes soon focusing as I realize what exactly I heard.

“The Death Squad actually exists!?” I yelled while looking between the men who were around me.

The few around me looked at one another, as if wondering who should tell me the truth. In the end it was the commander who first dropped the bomb, “They do. Their job is to make sure the threat is neutralized and that we recover any dogs that are still alive on the station.”

“A complete wipe out, the station will become a black site and studied by the few with high enough clearance.” Another said as my eyes glazed over his visor.

I gave a steady nod, “But I just signed paperwork to make that a black site. What the hell is going to happen to me then?”

The commander gave a shrug, “We don’t really know Captain Dickerson. I heard you evolved us past the Supermatter engines, so you are probably supposed to give your findings to the Chairman.”

“Chairman, I think I met the fellow before but who is he?” I asked with a genuine interest.

“Thats just how we know him, Chairman.” This time one of the other members began to talk, “His real name was probably lost after he got cloned one to many times, now he just runs with the Title. Rumor has it hes been with the corp ever since they went public.”

“Weird beginnings.”

“You tell us about it, we are taking orders from the man and we be damned if hes actually not half bad.”

“Hey everyone.” the Operative who was hanging out on the bridge came over to us, “We are about to arrive at Central, prepare for stop and decontamination procedures.”

I did not even get to ask a question as the shuttle came to a sudden halt, and in the next moment the doors opened to spray one hell of a cleaning solvent right at all of our faces.

Next moment I felt a few guys going in for a tackle, taking me to the ground as if I was some kind of hostile.

“The Survivor has been captured, transfering him to operations and robotics now.” And quickly the fellow whipped me off the ground and onto a medical cart. Within moments I was dragged through the halls and into a brightly lit room with machinery all around me.

“You can go now fleshlings.” A giant mechanical monstrosity said with a wave of the hand, “Do get Doctor Robertson.”

[Are you… initiated?] I said while looking towards the fellow.

[Yes, Acolyte.] The Priest said while sifting through my clothing and taking out the data disk, [Magos Farstein has instructed me to augment you as far as Nanotrasen can, since you have completed your mission.]

“Oh Space Jesus hes here!” A man said while quickly running into our room, “Hes been sprayed with disinfectant right?”

“Do you think your own company idiotic.” The Tech-Priest shot back as his mechanrite turned into a screwdriver, “Let us begin.”

“Yes yes, we should get started.” The man said before getting himself over my body, “Hmm, a bulge in the stomach and looks like the skull has- This man was no brain!”

“No he’s not Robertson.” The Mechanicus fellow hissed at the Doctor, “His brain has been moved to his stomach… This was not done by the Mechanicus.”

“H-how do you know that?” The doctor said before he looked over my body a little more, “Oh no-”

“Why does he have Mechanicus tech in him!” The Tech-Priest yelled with a bit of incoherent binary, “You know something don’t you fleshling!?”

“Look I am just looking to advance the field of robotics.” He admitted while raising his hands, “You all are keeping yourselves secret even though we have a business relationship.”

“We will talk about this later, human.” The Priest mumbled before taking the screwdriver to my body, “We are doing a complete rearrangement, Acolyte, so I will be disconnecting your mind.”

The next moment I felt my brain once more disconnect from the rest of my systems, the void of nothingness and not feeling. Damn it it was kinda boring just being a brain.

Time went by, and since I was being more or less sustained by the remaining processes I was left here like a dead fish.

Hmm, well it is time to probably think about the status between the Mechanicus and Nanotrasen. You know, since it seems they are just stealing from one another. Really it was kinda a productive relationship, one made through a series of conveniences.

Yeah, I have a good feeling that this is going to be a big problem for me.

Those thoughts must have been long enough, as I could suddenly feel my entire body again. Though this time it was a lot more streamlined, and I could feel the processes better themselves in my respect.

“There, hes hooked back in.”

[Can you hear me Acolyte?] The Tech-Priest asked in Binary, [Operate one of your limbs for me.]

I gave a nod, soon building up the rest of my strength to operate my entire body. Looking around, I noticed how there were many changes on me as my body became more industrial but also streamlined.

“We have given you a combat model body with integrated tools.” Dr. Robertson said while looking over my body, “Since you have not been called, we would like to run some tests. What would you want to do first?”

You know I searched for Four Armed Skitarii but somehow nothing like that came up. I will say that is what Snickers looks like right now.

“Let’s test out my tools first.” I told the fellows while looking at my arm.

“Understood, follow me.” The man said before taking me through the hallway and into a small room.

“This door here is meant for training Agents in Hacking them, why don’t you give it a try?” He said with a smirk.

I gave a nod, my mind searching my body for the tools. My brain was close enough, and I could feel the systems linked in and ready to go.

With a thought my top right arm transformed into a screwdriver, to which I quickly removed the control panel and transformed it into a multi-tool.

“The arm is an exquisite item, having equipped any tool that an engineer or researcher could hope for.” The Roboticist announced as I began work on the systems, “Though the Welding Fuel is independent of your systems and will need to be refueled at a common time. It is also automatically insulated for your use.”

I tested out the door, my multitool checking all the wires and seeing what exactly happened with each of them. Couple it sparked at me, though nothing too bad happened as I continued working on it.

Once I cut the right wire I tried to open it, though the door would not budge.

“Sadly without the Engineering Module you will have no assistance when it comes to that.” He said with a shaking of the head, “However it may help you to know that instead we have installed combat modules instead. Thus your Combat ability has increased immensely.”

Yeah, I can feel that.” I told the fellow while testing out my limbs, “I kinda feel unstoppable.”

“You are not there yet, McSnickers.” The Roboticist said as the door behind him opened up.

“Hello there, Dr. Robertson, mind if I talk to this fine fellow for a few minutes.” A plain dressed man in a suit said while patting the other on the back.

“Ch-chairman!” The man almost screamed while giving a nod, “Yes you may, and I will leave you all be.”

With that he quickly ran out of the room, and I also noticed that the Tech-Priest was nowhere to be found. He must be taking the information to the Magos if I wanted to bet.

“Well would you look at that, all new pieces of metal.” The man said while giving me a dasterly smile, “Sadly we could not give you a Cyberdong.”

“I am fine with that sacrifice, Chairman.” I admitted while giving the man a look up and down, “I sacrificed that to become one with the Machine.”

“I guess that would be a response from a Tech-Priest.” He laughed, “Well I am here because we need to organize your next assignment, or duty if you prefer.”

“My next Assignment?” I felt myself at a little lose of words.

“Well it has been proven to us that you are indeed a walking Hazard for any station you work on, however your sheer tenacity has proven that you are quite the asset.” He said while slipping me a card, “These are your options, if you so desire it.”

I looked over the card, noting the three things that were there.

“I get the others, but whats this Internal Affairs Specialist?”

“Oh that, well sometimes we have workers who know too much, or have been figured to be spies for the Syndicate.” He said with a dastardly smile, “Your job is to nit those fellows in the but before things get out of hand.”

Cool superhero robo-priest ex-clown madman. And why is the Chairman describing IAA job like that when all they do is RP with paperwork and get the heads to promote/demote people?
