The Grail War continues, though sometimes, it feels like the war itself is the least of your worries. You are Shinji Makiri, Ten years ago you suddenly found yourself with the memories of a complete past life that saw this world as a fictional story due to some unprecedented form of inter-dimensional transportation. Since that day, your new composite being has been working to change the grim future laid out for you.To that end, you have done much, involving yourself with events and situations that have shifted the future away from the one that you once would have faced and instead onto one of uncertainty and chaos. The Fifth Holy Grail War lies ahead of you, and the challenge and danger it represents to you, the people you care for and the world itself is far greater than you could have ever predicted. Though the grail might be corrupted and the war itself might be a sham, the stakes couldn't be higher.Archive of Paradox Reincarnator: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?tags=Fate/Paradox%20ReincarnatorGeneral Archive: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?tags=WhatIsAQMStatus Menu: https://pastebin.com/AcNswEHqShinji Status Page: https://pastebin.com/UNxStSSQMy Twitter: https://twitter.com/WhatIsAQMLast Thread: >>4642362
You walk towards the girl, you can't bear to see Ciel in a state like this. This should be a happy moment for her, and if she thinks that she's just lost her reason to live or will be forced to live a cursed existence forever, then you're going to need to tell her that she's simply wrong about that. The girl doesn't react to you as you stand in front of her, simply staring down at the floor instead of facing you. You sit next to the girl on the sofa and pull her into a one armed hug, which quickly brings her back to her senses and causes her to look at you with tears welling in her eyes."Ciel, just because Roa is gone, it doesn't mean that your life isn't worth living anymore. It's not like there will no longer be evil or injustices in this world that people like us are needed to stop, right?" You want Ciel to snap out of her sadness first of all, so you keep talking. "Roa was a great evil that needed to be killed, there's no doubt about that, but there are worse things out there that we need to protect humanity from... You might never be able to undo the evil that was spread by Roa, even eradicating his very existence across space-time was incapable of that, but now there's nothing holding you back from doing whatever it is you want to do with your life. If you want to stay with the Burial Agency, then you can do so, and you can fight to eventually eradicate the Twenty Seven Dead Apostle Ancestors from the world. Or if you want, you can walk away from it all, go live in peace for a few years before deciding what it is you truly want to do. The possibilities for what you can do are limitless, Ciel." You smile at the girl, who is looking into your eyes as you keep talking. "So... what is it that you want to do?""What I want to do next...?" Ciel ponders the thought for a while. "Well, The Church are the only ones I know of that would take me in anyway at this point and it's not like they'd let me go either. Members of the Burial Agency are kept as members of the Burial Agency until they are... well, buried. If I attempted to actually abandon my post, then Narbareck would probably send the other members after me to bring me in." Ciel gets up, having apparently recovered from her sadness already. "Running away isn't really an option unless I want them to start torturing me again."I wouldn't let them torture you, you know." You cross your arms, you don't know Ciel all too well in person, but you know that she's far too nice a person to be allowed to suffer any further than she already has suffered."Pardon?" Once again, Ciel is baffled by your words.
"I said that I wouldn't let the Church torture you if you wanted to leave them behind to do your own thing. After all, you're innocent of any crime, and any organization that would torture an innocent out of spite is one that doesn't deserve to exist." You shrug. If the Burial Agency decides they want to cross you, then you'd have no choice but to crush them entirely, you don't care how strong they might be."I... You... You don't even know me! How can you make such a promise?" Ciel asks you, there's a tiny amount of indignation in her words as she asks you her question this time, and you can sort of understand it must be very confusing for her to talk to somebody like yourself."I know enough about you to understand that you deserve to make your own decisions, Ciel. That you deserve to be able to choose your own destiny, and not be forced to follow down the path that was set for you by Roa and Narbareck. So... What do you want to do?" You counter the girl by once again reaffirming her right to be allowed to choose her own fate. She shouldn't be forced to do anything but anybody if she doesn't want to do so anymore. "I'll... I'll think about it." Ciel sighs. "You're a surprisingly kind person, Shinji." Ciel starts to head towards the ladder. "I'm sure that we'll meet again in Fuyuki. Though not as enemies.""Wait!" As Ciel starts to climb the ladder you call out to her. You can't just let her go without revealing one last thing. "Just... hold on a second, I wasn't finished talking yet. It's... It's about how I made you immortal. I don't know if I can do it just yet, but eventually... eventually I think I'll be able to reverse the effect I caused that made you truly unkillable. So... So if you ever do truly want to be able to die... I might be able to remove your immortality." It's a weird thing to tell a girl, that if they want to die, you'll try to kill them, but in the context, it's perfectly fine. Nobody should have to suffer from a cursed existence of living for eternity and watching all that they love fall apart and die over the centuries."I'll... keep that in mind." Ciel turns around once more and begins leaving the room. Though she seems to have just... left the shroud she was wearing on the floor. Isn't that an expensively valuable artifact of the Church? Is she really just leaving it in the room with you? Is she trying to give it to you without actually giving it to you?>Take the Shroud. Wait a second, just... wait. You want to know what this thing can do before you make any decision about it. You quickly pick the Shroud up, and the first thing that you notice is the energy radiating from it is incredible! This burial shroud must've belonged to somebody of great importance to the Christian faith, but the strange thing is that you only actually noticed the holy energy being radiated from the piece of fabric when you actually picked it up. Otherwise it was simply a normal, if very pretty looking, piece of fabric. You don't spend more than twenty seconds looking at the holy artifact until you manage to discern a few things about it. The first is that whoever is wearing it must have their presence masked to the world to the level of a Servant with Presence Concealment A+ or potentially even higher! Second is that it must've belonged to somebody integral to the faith, perhaps an apostle? Of course, the third thing you realize is that if the Church find out you managed to steal this or even that you got your hands on this burial shroud, you're going to be in a whole lot of trouble with them. You look up at the open manhole cover... wait a second... is this a test? Is she testing you on whether or not you'd return something valuable to her if she dropped it? Or is she just trying to give you this shroud for some reason?>It's a test. Leave the shroud where it is.>It's a gift. Take the shroud.>Who cares? 30 minutes till call.Have any of you actually thought of any plans to try to get your Servants back from Manaka yet?
>>4661742Brute force and if that doesn't work, call Gilgamesh
>>4661749But what if she just kidnaps everyone again?
>>4661742Shroud and sneak attack is now an option I guess or we could try fucking with leylines.Manaka seems incredibly overpowered to face her head on.Maybe buffed Tamamo could do it with her NP as well.
>>4661670 #>Who cares? Take the shroud and offer to give it back to Ciel if she's still hanging around.I mean if the church gets involved, we can probably find some way out if it. Wether it be through bribery (doubt it’d work but you never know) or a fight. There is likely some way out of it. Should the situation call for it that is.
>>4661749>call GilgameshThat will most likely result in him using Gate of Babylon on our asshole when we least suspect it.
>>4661742I have somewhat of an idea.>Get Ciel and Tamamo >Buff Tamamo>Possibly make the Jewel Sword>Return to Manaka alone, try and see if we can at least get Medea back>wait say a week or so>gather everyone together and try and sneak in. Be on guard the entire time, if anything happens to anyone, it could spell our doom for good this time. It’s by no means flawless, and I admit I’m not the best at making plans. However at the very least trying to get Medea back and buffing Tamamo (after making her out ally) could be beneficial in the end.
>>4661754Deploy the magical girls of course.
>>4661742Magical Amethyst
>>4661742Well first we need to figure out where they are. I reckon Touko will need to help us with that. Then we’ll need to figure out how to reach for them without being detected. The shroud Ciel left could help here, and Mordred could help too. Maybe monkey king if we get their master on board. another avenue could be via Amethyst.Releasing the captives should be something we should be able to do if we can get our hands on them.I feel we should learn more about the bounded fields that Medea couldn’t identify as chances are they are linked to the abduction. And we should ask Betty if she remembers anything from the captivity although with our luck she slept through it.
>>4661788problem is that we know virtually nothing about capabilities of Manaka and limits to them. Clearly us going to liberate hostages is a hostile act she is unlikely to take sitting down unless she decides to take it as a test of our ability for her inscrutable purposes, but we have no option but to try and free them under our own power before we confront her, so we need to be prepared when we make our move.To that end we're going to have to make a war council and pool whatever sliver of intel we can from the failed raid>examine our own recollections of the attack - of the bounded fields we crossed, >recollections of our captured allies - Avenger's, Shirou's, Betty's, for anything helpfulAvenger told us the most so far about the cave, although that in isolation is not much. Would it be in vicinity to the temple, or could it be elsewhere? Temple would be good start but unless we know limits of Manaka's reach it could just as well be somewhere under Tokyo or in Britain.>our own knowledge of what Manakas want>following from that, idea what she expects us to do about itShe let Saber go and even gave her Shirou back. Was it out of affection or because she has plans for Arturia that would be more difficult to achieve if she was holding Shirou hostage? Is their marriage going to be a boon or a problem in this context?
>>4661855Oh and Rin. Rin getting out of there could also be an important hint, and evidence Amethyst might be indispensable for the rescue operation.
...is that shroud part of Ciel's equipment or is it NP of her Servant?
>>4661788>>4661855Left Manaka seemed more willing to play along with us and alot "friendlier" as it were. We might be able to negotiate with her.
>>4661920well one issue here is we have no idea to what extent the two are independent of each other. They might just as easily be playing good cop/bad cop on us. Although their difference does probably have some sort of significance...But regardless, another problem is that we accepted the noble phantasm from Gilgamesh we're meant to take with us next time we meet them. If we do that, we're likely going to be dumped into combat, and that's a terrible circumstance to be while our allies are still captured. That's why it would be vastly preferable to rescue our allies before even approaching Manakas at all.Alternatively we could approach Manakas to negotiate without the Gil's trinket, but that would most likely result in gaining Gil as an enemy right then and there and I'm not sure if that's what we need right now.
Honestly? Gift or test, who cares? Either way, you're going to take it with you, if it's a test and she's still hanging around, you'll return it to her, and if it's a gift, then you may as well keep it. Something like this will be tremendously helpful for you in the future after all, the ability to effectively become invisible even to those with senses as sharp as Arcueid or Lugh... though to be fair on those two, Ciel was a fair distance from the two of them already by the time they searched for her so it's not like you'd actually be able to sneak up on either of them with the shroud. Same goes against somebody like Mordred, who should be able to prevent any and all sneak attacks from working against her thanks to her Instinct warning her of any attacks. You pick the white and red half-cloak up and quickly climb up the ladder into the alleyway once more. Betty is still awake, you know that much, but she took spiritual form at some point in that conversation, probably so Ciel wouldn't be able to try to sneak up on her with another attack like she did last time, or maybe she just didn't feel like sticking around in human form while you discussed things with Ciel, she does seem to be a very easily bored girl and perhaps for her remaining in spiritual form is simply more fun to do than to stand around uselessly in her physical form?As you look around the alleyway with the shroud still balled up and in one of your hands, you sigh. Did she really just run off and ditch you? Well, you don't really care all that much, seeing as you've clearly managed to make an ally out of her. In fact, if you meet Ciel again, you feel like you might even get the opportunity to properly recruit her to your group. She might dislike Arcueid on account of her being a True Ancestor, and she'd feel the same way towards Satsuki for her being a Dead Apostle, but so long as you can keep Satsuki clean of the blood of innocents, then there would really be no reason for Ciel to attack her. After all, Ciel quite literally works with a Dead Apostle Ancestor who decided to join the Burial Agency, so it's not like she's actively seeking to destroy every single Dead Apostle that exists.
You keep looking at the shroud. So... it was a gift then? You find yourself wondering just what exactly Ciel's motive was for giving you something so precious and valuable. Then, just as you're about to head back to your allies, you notice a piece of paper fluttering down from the sky, having been dropped from above. You try to catch a glimpse at the figure who dropped it, but they were too fast. On the piece of paper it simply reads 'Meet me at Messiaen at 4AM. Use the Shroud of Matthias to get away from others. Need to talk. About War and other Overseer. Didn't have time before your allies get suspicious. Can only trust you.' Wait a minute... Messiaen? And at 4AM? Why the hell would a curry shop be open at four in the morning? Also, the Shroud of Matthias, huh? The name sounds familiar, but isn't ringing any major bells for you. Maybe you can ask Ciel about it later, that is if you even decide to go for a late night rendezvous with the girl. You know that it's from Ciel too, it's the exact same hand-writing as last time, and nobody else would ever want to set their secret meeting in a damn curry house. You place the note in one of your pockets, and look back at the shroud in your hands.Pick one from each...>Go see Ciel at 4AM later tonight. I think it would be a problem if Ciel knew or found out that Kirei had a "mortal body" servant on him from the previous grail war. Does Gilgamesh just sleep on the streets as a homeless person to remain seemingly unassociated with Kirei or something? That would be funny.

Yeah, you'll definitely go see Ciel to talk with her in more detail about the grail war. While it's kind of a weird way to talk to somebody, having a meeting with them at 4AM, but for somebody like Ciel, you suppose that you can't blame her for prioritizing secrecy over all else. You'd of course prefer if she would just be OK with actually going to meet your allies instead of forcing you to wait until 4AM in order to sneak out of the Tohno Mansion to go on what is effectively a date with her. You really hope that the Shroud Of Matthias is going to work. God only knows how much trouble you'd find yourself in if you ended up getting caught to go have a date with a girl at 4AM in the morning.Of course, there is one way to ensure that the cloak works... If you were to test it out here and now on your allies, not only would you be able to determine whether or not your cloak actually worked, but you'd also be able to find out just what it is your allies get up to when you're not around to observe them! You've already eavesdropped on your allies having a conversation before and got caught as a result of it , but this time you have the power of a holy invisibility cloak on your side!"Betty, could you go ahead and meet back up with the rest of our allies? I'll be right behind you in about five minutes, I promise." First off though, you need to make sure that Betty heads back by herself, otherwise she could ruin your whole scheme simply by walking by your side, or she could end up panicking and revealing your game to your allies before you even get the chance to see if it will actually work!Your Servant materializes before she makes her response. "OK, Master... but don't take too long, alright? I don't like it when you get hurt..." Her gentle frown at the mental reminder of your tendency to get yourself maimed and hurt deals some emotional damage to you. You don't like seeing Betty sad. You might have to try to make a conscious effort to avoid getting yourself so wounded in the future, or at least figure out a way to make your body more durable so you aren't battered and bruised by practically anything that goes wrong. She soon disappears back off in the direction of your allies though, and after waiting a moment, you wrap the shroud around your shoulders like a sort of half-poncho and you head off back to see just what it is your allies might be doing now when you aren't observing them. You try your hardest to not make a single sound as you approach your allies, and none of them seem to have noticed your presence just yet, though you are keeping yourself just close enough so that you can hear exactly what it is that they are talking about, they are mostly all just milling about and awkwardly waiting, much to your boredom, though there is one conversation going on between Mordred and Sakura...
"So because of that, my advisor is going to come with me to Britain to help me conquer it and claim my birthright!" Mordred declares, her arms crossed. Clearly, this isn't a matter that is up to discussion for her."B-but he can't go to Britain with you! He lives in Japan with me!" Sakura shoots back, and the King frowns."I don't think you understand me very well. You might be his sister, but he belongs by my side!" Mordred declares without any hesitation, and you feel yourself getting worried that something terrible is about to happen."Does he? Who says so? You?" Sakura's expression hardens. "Don't make me laugh, you don't even know Onii-chan, I'm his siste-""W-w-well he's my boyfriend!" The terrified and jumpy voice of Satsuki suddenly joins in on the conversation between the girls, and all eyes turn towards her. Even those that weren't actually engaged or involved in the conversation between the two bickering girls. "Ha...Haha...." Satsuki begins to wilt under the unrelenting gaze of the group staring at her with piercing eyes."What." It's Arcueid who is the one to break the silence, and the panicked looking Satsuki is clearly struggling now."I... I mean that... H-he... He takes me out on dates and buys me nice things and says I look pretty once every year!" Satsuki tries to save herself from the scrutinizing gaze of the rest of the girls. "H-he's the one person in the world I can rely on to help me when things go wrong!""Satsuki-chan... how do you know my brother, exactly?" Mordred and Sakura's bickering has become a thing of the past, and now all eyes are on the poor Dead Apostle girl under pressure from her careless actions."I...uh...Well...Years ago..." Satsuki doesn't seem to know how to explain your relationship with her to the rest of the girls, that she's simply a childhood friend that you met on holiday one time and became great friends with each other. She's probably going to dig herself a deeper hole if you don't come and save her immediately, but that would let them know you were listening in, even if you kept the Shroud of Matthias a secret!>Just keep watching, you can't help Satsuki.>Throw the shroud off dramatically and reveal yourself.>Hide out of sight before taking the shroud off, then reveal yourself.>Mentally tell Betty to break up the talking by telling them that you're just around a corner! Then reveal yourself like that.>Throw a rock at somebody, make them think somebody is attacking. (Who?)>Write-in...
>>4662431>Mentally tell Betty to break up the talking by telling them that you're just around a corner! Then reveal yourself like that. This was a mistake. Jesus christ, poor Satsuki.
>>4662431>Hide out of sight before taking the shroud off, then reveal yourself.
>>4662431>>Mentally tell Betty to break up the talking by telling them that you're just around a corner! Then reveal yourself like that.I thought this would be funnier instead of sad, I feel bad
>>4662431wow, rip sacchin
>>4662431>Just keep watching, you can't help Satsuki.
>>4662445We have been warned many, many times about the love interests. I think too many anons expected the conflict to be strictly comedic.

>>4662431>>Just keep watching, you can't help Satsuki.
>>4662445This is a natural consequence of a bunch of women who barely know each other all coming to the realization that they are all after the same man.It might get better with time, or it might just get worse. >>4662472Puffy
>>4662431>Just keep watching, you can't help Satsuki.I believe in her.
Anyway, Calling in maybe like... 40 minutes? If no update comes assume I crashed.

>>4662431>>Mentally tell Betty to break up the talking by telling them that you're just around a corner! Then reveal yourself like that.
>>4662472Alright so this is QM nudging us and saying "stop ignoring this now, they all know, it'll get worse if you do".
>>4662496Seems that way, but what could we do to address it?
>>4662501Well, nothing does not seem to be working out. Personally I have for not hugging everyone we came across but its not like Im unused to being outvoted around here. The answer might be to stall and then commit to someone when we have a breather to address it.
>>4662496Exactly. That's why half of the people are voting to ignore it.>>4662501Stop hiding like a pussy for starters.
>>4662496I don't think we should confront them about it right now since it could affect morale and we are about to engage in our most serious fights. I think we should get the girls to know each other better so they would be more open to sharing.
>>4662431Just keep watching, you can't help Satsuki.
>>4662501How about stop peeping and actually address it?
>>4662474>>4662495>>4662518Could you guys reply with your IDs? Just to make sure you are not a failed samefag.
>>4662514>>4662521Yeah but what would we say, "Stop fighting and join me in decaogamy"?
>>4662516>>4662514I don't think we should confront it NOW but still do something about it, it's kinda hard since there's a lot of contradictions between them. Let's ignore the fact that they wanna monopolize us, Mordred wants to drag us to Great Britain for conquest but Sakura wants us to stay in Fuyuki and live a normal life with her but we can't exactly abandon Satsuki, who's a Dead Apsotle and who we promised to protect, there's also Medea and Tamamo who want to marry us now or soon. This is a Gordian Knot and none of them are close, the only thing they think of each other is "rival and stranger for Shinji's attention"
>>4662536Alright nevermind. I am sorry I got paranoid.
>>4662534sure
>>4662516So you think this conflict won't affect the morale?
>>4662521Bad idea to address it now, Satsuki just straight up called us her boyfriend in front of everyone, if we heard it everyone would want to hear an explanation. If we deny it then we hurt Satsuki who already has vampire and self esteem issues but if we’re wishy washy with it that's only leading them on and likely to make them all mad
>>4662536I just don't want them fighting while all of this is going on.
>>4662550We will have to address it sooner or later if she keeps calling us that.
>>4662534Meant to reply to this.
>>4662559You don't want them to fight so you voted to allow them to continue fighting?
>>4662431>>Just keep watching, you can't help Satsuki. We will temper her into a waifu worthy of the name ULTIMATE SACCHIN
>>4662539I get you that's why i suggested that our potential harem members should get to know each other better if they become friends it will be easier to compromise with them.>>4662548I don' t but its already too late for this one it already affected morale confronting them about it would just make things worse.
>>4662569I just want to see things play out for now.

>>4662576We genuinely don't have that luxury, maybe things would've been slightly easier if we introduced Sakura to Sacchin earlier but thats done. Honestly, all we can do is say something like "I'm never gonna leave you etc etc but other people need me too">>4662580Unironically love it

You can't intervene. You can't reveal to them all that you were watching all this happen. You just... You just need to have faith in Satsuki's ability to resolve this situation on her own! You just hope that you haven't made the wrong choice as you look at the poor girl being surrounded by Sakura, Arcueid and Mordred. Lugh is just looking at the scene unfolding with an annoyed expression on his face. "Come on, girl, tell us how you know my Advisor. I won't be able to trust you if I don't know your origin." Mordred says, her tone restrained. It looks like the pathetic state that Satsuki is finding herself in is quickly appealing to her inner sense of mercy and chivalry. "Yeah. Why don't you tell us why you think you're Onii-chan's girlfriend...?" Sakura is far less merciful than Mordred is, the look on the face of your sister is quite the dangerous one. You hope that she isn't going to attack Satsuki for some reason, Satsuki really doesn't deserve any of this! You have to steady your emotions so as not to jump out and come to the rescue. With any luck, if you let things come to a natural end, there will be no need for you to intervene!Arcueid is the only one of the three who remains silent, as is simply watching the girl with a curious eye. In fact, there doesn't even appear to be much hostility in her gaze. While it's clear that she's displeased, she's not nearly as displeased as Sakura is. You still wish that she hadn't gotten herself involved in this little fight in the first place though, it's hardly constructive."L-leave me alone." Satsuki's voice is quiet and you can barely hear it uttered from where she's standing "I don't have to explain my relationship to Shinji-kun to you..." Not intervening is making you feel worse and worse, and you begin to contemplate leaping to Satsuki's rescue anyway. "You're just trying to bully me..."That comment makes Sakura flinch backwards in surprise and regain some of her usual cool, the girl seemingly coming to her senses as Satsuki stares at her with teary eyes. "Wait a second, let me jus-"
Satsuki's eyes suddenly flash a brilliant shade of bright crimson as she draws upon her full reserves of vampiric power! What is she planning on doing?! Surely she's not planning on attacking, right? "I said leave me alone!" Then, just like that, Satsuki is gone. Arcueid, Sakura and Mordred have vanished with her, and you find yourself staring at an empty street, well, empty except for Betty and Lugh. "Woah, so that girl could deploy a reality marble after just a few days of being a Dead Apostle? That's terrifyingly impressive, honestly." Lugh is looking at the now empty part of the street with interest, before he turns around to look you directly in the eyes. "You can stop using that ridiculous thing to hide yourself now, it might've fooled me at a distance, but up close like this I can see you very clearly." Lugh reveals that he easily saw through a disguise that you believed to have been infallible. You're speechless as you take off your disguise before you fold it up and put the piece of fabric in one of your pockets. "I knew Arcueid wanted to test the girl, but I think that this sort of thing was just going too far. The other two weren't even part of the plan" Lugh casually reveals that Mordred and Sakura were just kind of unwanted elements to something that Arcueid was planning all along. "It's a shame that we weren't in the radius of the activation. I've never gotten to see a Reality Marble, you know? Not to mention one deployed without even requiring the usage of an aria!" Lugh stares at the location the girls disappeared from her a few more seconds. "Still, I can't imagine that Arcueid will allow any of them to hurt each other." Your mind however keeps replaying to you the chances that Satsuki out of the complete blue has fallen to darkness. There must be something you can do!>Try to find out a way to enter the recently deployed Reality Marble>Push your magical energy to its limit and destabilize the area by reciting your aria>Just wait for the girls to return by themselves, you doubt Satsuki can keep a Reality Marble active for long.>Write-in...

I honestly didn’t think you could be anything but friends had you come to meet, because I know how pure of heart you both are. You can't just sit around and do nothing, you need to find a way to get inside Satsuki's reality marble! You need to stop this before somebody gets themselves hurt! You walk over to the exact location that Satsuki was standing in when she activated the ability, and you spread what little magical energy you have left around you in order to try to gauge just how exactly you're going to find the four girls. The use of a reality marble involves layering your own inner world over the world outside, dragging people nearby you into your inner world turned physical. While you're standing on the space that Satsuki was standing when she activated her marble without meaning to, there's no physical path into the marble. You're going to need to try to make one.Of course, that's easier said than done, as only trace amounts of magical energy are visible to you in the air from Satsuki's activation of her marble. Right now, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that Satsuki and the three other girls have been dragged off to another dimension entirely, even if that dimension is one that can't last very long due to the influence of Gaia trying to unmake it. You keep looking, trying to examine the fragments of energy left behind after the manifestation of Satsuki's reality marble, with any luck you'll be able to duplicate the process that allows other people to enter the manifested world in order to enter the reality marble under your own power! You finally manage to find a large enough fragment in order to get accustomed to the magical energy signature being given off by the Reality Marble. It's incredibly faint, but now you've determined just what the magical energy of the Reality Marble is like, you can just about feel the Reality Marble's presence, in the world but at the same time not in the world. An extra layer, or texture, upon the planet that can't exist independently before dissolving. Lugh watches you with great interest as you kneel down on the floor and place a palm on the ground, willing what little magical energy you have left to allow you to apply a concept upon what you understand to be the material presence of Satsuki's Reality Marble. You only need to use a single concept to get inside now, one that isn't in opposition with the existence of the Reality Marble. 'Open'. You suddenly find yourself falling through the air as a portal opens up beneath your feet and you drop through it nearly instantly. The darkness of the city's night disappearing and being replaced with the fresh crisp light of Satsuki's inner world. It's a far cry from the miserable wasteland of energy draining that you were expecting. Your memories of Depletion Garden, Satsuki's Reality Marble in Melty Blood, are vague, but you're pretty sure it's not supposed to look so... nice?
You hit the floor, and thankfully the landing is soft, so you get up quickly. You're sitting atop a hill. In the distance is what looks like some sort of large structure made of white marble with columns and pillars decorating it, like a great palace that has fallen into disrepair and been reclaimed by nature. There's no trace of Satsuki or of the three girls that she dragged into this world from the hill you're standing on, but this place is huge! There's no end in sight to the rolling hills. Not having any better ideas, and not wanting to just wander aimlessly around the hills, you head towards the palace like structure. The atmosphere of this world isn't suffocating or oppressing as you thought it would be, but is instead almost... filling you with energy! Of course, it's only a feeling, this world isn't actually supplying you with magical energy, as nice as that might be.The journey to the palace feels like it takes longer than it actually does, especially as you ran most of the way, not wanting to leave the four of them to fight or whatever it is that they're getting up to in this world. You hope that they aren't still fighting though. A tremendous crashing noise from within the castle quickly obliterates that hope though. You quickly race forwards towards the doors leading into the palace-like structure and head inside. With any luck you can stop this before anybody gets hurt! You take in status of the battle as you enter the large room, and you can see Mordred holding a large boulder above her head as if to throw it at Satsuki, who doesn't look scared or worried at all! You're about to call out to stop the attack but before you can-!"Try to dodge this one then!" Mordred roars, and throws the boulder that is almost as big as she is at Satsuki with speeds surpassing that of a cannon! Is Mordred actually trying to kill Satsuki?! You can't stop it in time! What the hell is Mordred trying to do here?!Your question is answered when the moment that the boulder reaches Satsuki, it drops to the floor, having somehow managed to lose all momentum just a few moments before it touched her. You can hear clapping, and you crane your head to see Arcueid sitting atop a pillar spectating this strange... well you wanted to call it a battle, but you don't think that's the case anymore. Sakura looks kind of fed up as she sits on the pillar next to Arcueid. "Great work, Satsuki! With a Reality Marble like this, I think you could take on one of the Dead Apostle Ancestors!" Arcueid congratulates the girl. "You still need to learn more about fighting though..." Wait a second... Is Arcueid... tutoring Satsuki?"T-thank you?" It's only then that you notice that the boulder isn't the only odd thing about the area around Satsuki. She's surrounded by a small ring of pebbles too! Could they have fallen out of the air like that boulder did when it was about to hit her?
For some reason, none of them seem to have noticed your arrival yet, and it's up to you just how you're going to announce your arrival to the girls. At least it doesn't seem like they are fighting anymore? That's a plus, at least. If you've got anybody to thank for that though, it's probably Arcueid and her incredible strength. She probably could've increased the pressure upon this Reality Marble by calling on her connection to Gaia and collapsed it rapidly, the fact that she hasn't tells you this is all going according to whatever plan she has.>"What the hell is going on here?!">"I heard everything from Lugh. What gives?">"I'm very disappointed in all of you. You shouldn't bully Satsuki.">"Hey, this is a pretty cool Reality Marble, Sacchin! What does it do?">Write-in...

>"Hey, this is a pretty cool Reality Marble, Sacchin! What does it do?"Im just grateful that this didnt end in tears. Sometimes I feel as if we are the marshmellows keeping the smores together.
"Hey, this is a pretty cool Reality Marble, Sacchin! What does it do?" You reveal your presence in the room to the four girls, a smile on your face as you do. You can't be too upset, after all, nothing bad seems to have happened in the end, in fact, Satsuki even managed to get stronger as a result of being put under pressure!"S-Shinji-kun?!" Satsuki falls over in surprise at your sudden question. "W-what are you doing here?" She blurts out as she struggles to get back on her feet as she does a double take."Yes, and more importantly, how are you here?" Arcueid looks at you with a raised eyebrow, breaking into a Reality Marble is probably quite the difficult thing to do, even for somebody like Arcueid."I let myself in, obviously." You just tell the truth. There's really no harm in letting them all know that you can break into Reality Marbles if you are aware of their presence. You don't know if you'd be able to accomplish the same in reverse though, you'd need to be able to find a trace of the world outside "Right." Arcueid just shrugs, clearly she doesn't want to argue with you or how your powers work when they've already proven themselves capable of doing the impossible more than once before. "As for what the Reality Marble does?" Arcueid suddenly leaps towards Satsuki with incredible speed, her nails turn into razor sharp looking talons and she takes a swipe at Satsuki's neck, with enough force to take her head off! "Eek!" Satsuki lets out a terrified noise at her impending decapitation, though instead of her razor sharp talons cleaving Satsuki's head straight off, all that happens is that Arcueid's hand stops half an inch away from Satsuki's neck, exertion clearly still on her face as she tries to see if she can overcome some invisible force holding her back. "Within this... world, no attack can be used against Satsuki, even those... certain to strike." Arcueid stops exerting herself and pulls her hand back so it returns to its normal appearance. What's more, it also seems to have some form of... calming effect, the world itself seems to abhor violence, and that helped pacify these two, their squabbling was starting to get irritating." Arcueid gestures to both the girl wearing heavy armor and the girl still sitting atop a pillar.""Hey!"" Sakura and Mordred both call out at the same time, clearly not happy about the unkind words. Though you can't really disagree with Arcueid's assessment of things. Do they really have to try to pick a fight with each other the exact moment that they think you're out of earshot? You might have to get these girls to spend some more time with each other at some point, just so that they don't dislike each other so much. It would be a complete disaster if your faction devolved into infighting... over you.
You ignore the two girls, and instead decide to address Satsuki. "Well, this is an incredible Reality Marble Sacchin, really!" You genuinely mean your words too. A Reality Marble that is devoted only to the protection of its owner like this is ridiculous! You wager that Satsuki within this place would have an absolute protection against any attack that attempted to use the laws of Gaia to damage her! But what could have caused it to change from Depletion Garden? A change in outlook? The manner of it's activation? Perhaps it could've occurred as a result of her only drinking your blood?Satsuki blushes as you praise her Reality Marble. "Y-you really think so?" She clearly wasn't expecting you to arrive in this place, yet she clearly is enjoying the justified praise she's getting as a result of developing a Reality Marble in a few days. Just how much potential does this girl have? Reality Marbles are supposed to be one of the most difficult pieces of magecraft to grasp, yet here she is, having done it with nothing but a little bit of incentive!"Would I lie to you, Sacchin?" You smile at the girl, and she happily beams a smile back at you.>"Now, can you disable it? >>4663223The time for nipping it in the bud was when they were squabbling but instead players voted to hide.Right now when all parties have calmed down and nobody is injured it's counterproductive to bring up that drama. There is no point in swinging your fists after the fight has already ended.

But since it will influence effects of Reality Marble itself will she be able to unlock potential in others as well after this?Or if we were to try to apply some sort of change through it to her status of Dead Apostle to make her True Ancestor? >>4663293You lost friend?
"Now, can you disable it? We ought to get going, after all, my meeting was a success, thankfully. The Church won't be pursuing us any time soon, I think." Or well, Ciel won't be, at least, and that by itself is a relief. You don't need some absolutely unkillable terminator trying to hunt you down, after all. Even if you might be able to deal with Ciel with all the powerhouses that are in your faction now, it's really much better for everyone to have the girl helping you instead of being hostile to you."Disable it? Umm... Let me try something..." Satsuki closes her eyes and starts to focus, trying to figure out just how to forcibly dismiss her own Reality Marble, and after a few seconds of her concentrating, the world around you starts to ripple, becoming transparent for a moment before it disappears in a flash of light and you find yourself standing in the middle of the road once again, with Mordred, Sakura, Arcueid and of course Satsuki all standing around each other. "There!" She announces her success as she dismisses the marble. It's genuinely incredible that she's at a point where she has no need to use an aria to summon her Reality Marble. You suppose that must be as a result of her non-human status. It's much easier for Dead Apostles to create Reality Marbles than it is for humans to create them, it's just a compatibility thing, you find yourself wondering what would happen if Arcueid looked into creating a Reality Marble, what would occur from that? It's probably best not to think about it too hard, besides, Arcueid has no real use for a Reality Marble anyway, not when she has her Marble Phantasm."Well, I'm glad that that's over with." You sigh in relief as you find yourself back in the streets of Misaki Town. It's not like Satsuki's Reality Marble was that terrible a thing to be within, and in fact it was actually quite pleasant, but it's more that the circumstances that led to you entering Satsuki's reality marble were really less than pleasant. At least Arcueid seems to have decided to take up some strange role as Satsuki's mentor, and you're glad for that, in truth, you can't see yourself as being the best mentor for Satsuki when it comes to some of her powers as a vampire, and though you consider your level of magical knowledge to be sufficient enough to teach Satsuki how to wield her own magecraft, you can't compare to Arcueid in certain aspects. It's nice that despite being a little bit too rough sometimes, Arcueid does seem to actually kind of like Satsuki."You're telling me." Mordred sighs in annoyance. "Oi! Satsuki! Uh... Sorry about pushing you so far, I uh... I just wanted to know what your deal was, y'know?" Mordred calls out to Satsuki, clearly feeling just a little bit bad about the realization that she was effectively taking part in bullying somebody, and somebody normally so meek and harmless as Satsuki as that.
"Yes, Satsuki-chan. I will... apologize as well, I don't know what came over me." Sakura gives a brief apologetic bow to Satsuki. Could it have been a result of Tiamat's influence that is causing Sakura to be more prone to taking actions like this? You don't know just how deep the connection is between your sister and the beast sleeping within her right now, so you suppose that it's a possibility that Sakura could naturally be more prone to bouts of emotion like that one."Alright everyone, now that you've all had your girl time, can we get back on with it?" Lugh is watching everything going on with tired, bored eyes. Clearly the boy has a low tolerance for stuff like this, not that you can blame him for it, dealing with this sort of stuff makes you want to scream! You wonder what SHIKI must've thought of all this if he was still watching from the rooftops above."We do still need to investigate the house I was trapped in, you're right." You quickly latch on to Lugh's offered subject change and use it to get the night back on topic. "We're not too far from it now, so everyone just follow me, alright?" Nobody talks with each other as they follow after you, Betty and Lugh at your sides with the four girls following after you at an even pace.Eventually you reach the house once again, and unassuming looking Japanese building, and find the door has been locked shut. As you're about to start trying to break in, Mordred steps up. "Hold on, let me just do what I did to get in last time, when I was still Strout's Servant." You stand aside from the door in order to allow Mordred to open the door, if there's some sort of magical method or secret to opening this door, then it would make sense if Mordred would know how to open it!Unfortunately, Mordred just pulls an arm back and slams her fist into the wooden door as hard as she possibly can, the force from her punch being great enough that the door explodes into large wooden splinters! "Oh good, looks like it still works." Mordred has a cheeky smile on her face as she walks inside, inviting you to follow after her. "Now, If I remember correctly, the basement level was where you were being kept, the ground floor was converted into a storeroom, and the top floor was being used by Rizo as some sort of study. There's seven of us, and I'm not picking up any traces of magecraft in here, so it might be wise if we split into three groups to investigate and save time.">Pick 3 groups to form to investigate the different floors from your allies. (Shinji, Betty, Lugh, Arcueid, Satsuki, Mordred, Sakura.)>>Basement (Who?)>>Ground Floor (Who?)>>First Floor (Who?)>Don't split up at all and simply choose one of the floors to investigate as a complete group. Three best sensors in our group are Mordred, Lugh and Arcueid. So each of them should cover one floor.Basement is probably filled with "food leftovers" and bloody roomcell should be there as well. So Satsuki is the worst person to send there. Second worst is Sakura since she might get really angry if she connects how her brother could have potentially ended on a meat hook in a basement along other "food leftovers".That being said Rizo is rather smart so letting summons go in and activate potential traps or ambushes while we wait outsight is probably the best course of action. If it all clear we can just go straight to points of interests they will find on each floor.

"Alright, first off... Betty?" You call the name of your Servant and she looks up at you. "Could you use some of your summoned creatures to scout the place out, you know, for traps?" You don't really care which of her summons she uses, and it's not like she'll really need to create any additional lifeforms to just scout out the places, so energy wise, it should be fine, right?"OK, Master!" The girl nods and something begins to crawl out of her shadow. A familiar creature soon takes shape from her shadow, and you recognize it straight away, the dozen chitinous tentacles and the beaked mouth of the bizarre eldritch animal make you feel unnerved even now. "Go on, see if you can find anything!" Betty talks to the creature with a voice of endearment. Like she's talking to something like a dog and asking it to do something for her. Of course, she also summons up two bird creatures, which also fly off with great haste."I think I'm going to be sick." Lugh has a queasy expression on his face, and Arcueid's own expression is also fairly queasy, though not nearly as much as the small wolflike boy. "What the hell were those things? Just looking at them made me feel like I was going to vomit." Lugh doesn't sound very happy as he looks at Betty with an incredibly suspicious gaze."They... did?" While you never thought that Betty's creations were visually appealing at all, and were quite horrible to look at, they've never really made you queasy like both Lugh and Arcueid seem to be acting right now... could this be a result of the two of them being Nature Spirits connected to Gaia? Is there something about Betty's summoning abilities that has a greater effect on the two of them due to their connection to Gaia and the planet? You might have to test this out at a later date. Though only with their permission of course, you're not stupid enough to purposely distress either Lugh or Arcueid like that. Doing something like that would just be immensely idiotic. "Apologies, I'll endeavor to not have Betty use her abilities when you're around so long as I can help it in the future." While it seems like a waste not to use one of Betty's most reliable abilities, you can't really use it if it's going to make both Arcueid and Lugh feel ill. At least not when they are around."Thanks, I mean that." Lugh leans against a wall with a relieved expression as you wait for Betty to finish the first stage of reconnaissance with her minions. Beaky went down to the basement while the bird creatures took the floors above. You don't have to wait long for the creatures to reappear and merge with Betty's shadow once more, and the girl shakes her head. "There aren't any traps they could find, but they also didn't find anything else. There's nobody in the building except us, Master." Betty smiles at you, and with that knowledge, you decide to put into play the next stage of your plan.
"Great! thanks for the hard work, Betty!" You give the girl a thumbs up and she looks happy. "Alright everyone, for the next stage of our plan, I'm going to need us to split into small teams in order to cover the most ground in the shortest time possible. With that in mind, Betty and Sakura, you'll be going with me to explore the top floor, Mordred, you're with... Fenri... and you'll be looking through the ground floor. Arcueid, are you alright to go check out the basement they were holding me captive with Satsuki?"Mordred looks at Lugh for a few seconds before she says anything "Hey, dog kid, you wanna become part of my kingdom?" Mordred asks her investigation partner if he wants to be her underling immediately! You have no idea just what Mordred is up to, honestly. Is she just trying to try to recruit as many allies as she can right now before she actually goes ahead and tries to take over Britain?"Not particularly, no." Lugh keeps his answer short as he denies Mordred's offer. Then he seems to pause as he thinks about it some more. "Then again, it's not like I've got anything better to do... Let's keep it as a maybe for now." Lugh just shrugs. Seems that he thinks the idea of joining Mordred's new Camelot or whatever she's planning on calling her kingdom at least amusing enough to entertain the idea of. Regardless, the two of them soon wander off to start looking through for clues."Come on Satsuki, let's see what's down in the basement!" Arcueid suddenly grabs Satsuki's hand and begins to pull her along, though she seems to glare at Sakura for a few seconds before she leaves and heads down into the basement with Satsuki still being dragged along. Satsuki doesn't even get a word in as Arcueid drags her off, leaving you alone with Betty and Sakura. "Come on, let's get looking." You keep your words to Sakura and Betty short as you begin to walk up a staircase to the first floor. The floor is actually remarkably small, consisting of a bathroom, a small bedroom and of course, the study. You don't bother investigating the other two rooms that much, a quick glance tells you all you need to know of them. There isn't any furniture in them asides from the bare necessities, and there's nothing of any interest in them anyway.
Of course, the actual important room is the study, and upon pushing the door open the rest of the way, you can see that Betty's reconnaissance abilities by herself might need some work. On the desk itself is a letter next to a sharp looking dagger, but on the floor is something that looks very familiar! While it's obviously not a trap, there's a red glowing circle of magic is on the floor behind the desk, and you recognize it in an instant. A... Servant Summoning Circle?! There are a dozen blood red jewels surrounding the circle, almost like crystallized droplets of blood. This summoning circle is pulsing with energy still, meaning only one thing... it's active? Could Altrouge have been trying to summon a Servant of her own? Why would she get cold feet and stop at the last minute? Or is this meant as a trap? Whatever is going on here, you don't trust it.>Read the letter on the table before deciding anything.>Destroy the summoning circle. You don't trust anything about this!>Use the summoning circle. a dagger and blood red jewels huh.boy I sure do wonder who this i-----okay just run. like now.
You'll read the letter before you decide to do anything else. You want to know just what was going on here and why on Earth Rizo and Altrouge would just... leave an active summoning circle. Wouldn't it have made much more sense to have actually just used it to... well, summon a Servant? Whatever, you begin reading the letter, hopefully that will be able to provide you some insight into what the hell Altrouge is playing at.'My Dearest Shinji,Your continued evasion of me and my servants is... frustrating. You may be aware that I was the one who unsuccessfully attempted to kill that girl that had a crush on you. Though I believe I owe you an apology for that, I was... frustrated at the failure of my servant in allowing you to escape, and I wasn't thinking clearly. You ought to understand of the sort of lust for violence that I am capable of falling victim to. I can do no more than apologize to you and the girl for giving in to my bloodlust. As for you managing to take Rizo's Servant away? Good. He was acting on his own when he gave her that order to go after you, and believed that you deserved to pay for defying me. He has since been punished for acting against my wishes.Of course, I was originally going to use my abilities in order to set up another summoning for him, but I decided that it might make a good apology to you after what I did to' There are a few misspelled names that have been crossed out. 'Satsuki, was it? The girl that miraculously became a vampire, tell her that I'd like to meet her some day when you get the chance. While I would much prefer if you simply agreed to become a Dead Apostle or if you had remained in your cell and joined my faction, As somebody of your power, you would've easily ranked as one of the Dead Apostle Ancestors. But I suppose the opportunity for that has passed. I'm not so petty that I would target all of your friends and family, so you needn't worry about me doing something so cruel.Regardless of my feelings, please feel free to use the circle I prepared, the dagger on the table is a catalyst for some Servant of European origin. If I'm going to be honest with you, I don't care what you do with it or the circle. I've decided to wash my hands of this whole ridiculous ritual, I've known it was corrupted for years. We will meet again one day, I am sure, likely at a far more important ritual.Forever yours,Altrouge Brunestud.'
Wait a second... She's just giving up and leaving?! This is how she retires from the grail war? Rizo loses his Servant and she just gets bored and goes home?! Well, at least that sort of solves one of the threats, though not really. She's still going to pose a problem at some point down the line. She did sound strangely apologetic about what she did in her letter though, and if she was telling the truth, then maybe it's not even worth pursuing her...? No, Satsuki still needs to get her revenge. But it does mean that you don't have to deal with an imminent threat, you suppose. How strange, you've killed two Dead Apostle Ancestors in the span of a day and yet you feel strangely unfulfilled. There is however still the matter of this summoning Circle to deal with. Can you trust Altrouge to have been telling the truth in her letter? Is this really a working Summoning Circle? If it is, then you might just be able to use it to get some more power on your side before you go ahead and try to liberate your allies from Manaka!>Use the circle, and also use the catalyst.>Use the circle and summon at random. (Dice roll)>Destroy the circle.>Write-in...
>>4663727>Destroy the circle.bitches ain't shit
>>4663727Use the circle, and also use the catalyst
>>4663727>Write-in...You guys think satsuki could use a servant? we're getting pretty close to more than we could handle.
>>4663744Are we? Are we really?
>>4663727>Destroy the circle. We can summon our own servants if we really need to, just take the mystery catalyst and go.
>>4663727>>Use the circle, and also use the catalyst.I can't tell if she's actually leaving or not and the Dark Six ritual is kind of a bigger problem that should be dealt with before it goes forward
>>4663727>>Use the circle and summon at random. (Dice roll)>>4663744She's not a Master
>>4663727>Destroy the circle.A gift from Alt is one I dont want.
This is going to be a samefag fest
I think she's trustworthy in so far as that she's far too powerful and too full of herself to care about doing something so underhanded
>>4663754Saying that only makes it more likely, you know.
>>4663758You know it's going to happen
>>4663745I'm pretty sure having 3 servants is already a big strain on shinji, we just aren't feeling it at the moment because they're on ice.>>4663749She does have magic though and while it's a little unkind to use people as mana batteries for more potential allies, I think she can handle it.
Isn't it bad to contract with another servant since we're contracted with 3 already? Contracting with another one will severely limit our usage of truth magic.
>>4663726>Examine the dagger and take it witheven if we’re not going to use it we can’t leave it laying around.>Destroy the circle.on one hand it could be OP’s way of giving us a kryptonite, but just as well it could be rope to hang ourselves with. Not sure if we need someone like lady bathory or whoever on retinue... plus upkeep is going to be an issue. I suppose we could ask Sacchin or Mordred if they want to give it a shot but it would probably be I’ll advised.
>>46637673 is weighing us down, 4 would probably leave us unable to do anything, however there are three ways to fix this, 1, when we free Medea, we finish the Dragon Blood plan so we can obtain a Magic Core, if you think we have an absurd amount of magic before, wait till we get dipped in Dragon Blood, 2, Medea drains people like she's shown to do, which elevates strain, or 3, we have regular sex with someone
>>4663771Sex in this quest with these autists? Never going to happen.
>>4663769we effectively only have 1 at the moment, we aren't giving any juice to Shuten and Medea and going along with this summoning means that we take away the chance of one future enemy master showing up. I think we should go for it, the extra fire power would be essential and when we have Shuten and Medea again, we Rule Break one of them and give a servant to Illya or Rin since they can handle it
>>4663771I miss Medea ;.;>>4663727>Write-in... Destroy the circle. Take the catalyst.
>>4663779Alright you convinced me.>>4663727>Use the circle, and also use the catalyst.
alright if we're really gonna end up destroying it then we can at least make Rin do the summoning since she has no servant and it gives us an excuse to make her feel better and show her that we have her back
>>4663727>>Destroy the circle.Please guys.
>>4663767>>4663781Did you just vote twice?
>>4663789no.
>>4663727>>Destroy the circle.Nothing good can come out of it.
>>4663726>Use the circle and summon at random. (Dice roll)
Why not use the cloak as a catalyst? Or get a compatible servant using no catalyst.
Dagger and bloody jewels, plus European origin...who'd this even be, someone like Carmilla?
>>4663790Whoops, marked wrong one. >>4663744>>4663781You have write in - sacchin and write in - destroy the circle?
>>4663796ok we HAVE to do the summoning now
>>4663727>>Destroy the circle.
>>4663797I shouldn't have tagged whatis's post, I was merely making a suggestion.
Seeing as this is an important vote, I might call it quits for the night and let you discuss the pros and cons of using this circle. You ought to think really hard about the consequences of what might happen if you act carelessly though...>>4663796I'm just going to reveal that the jewels are there as part of Altrouge's power. They are basically the things that are going to power the summoning as well as act as the power source for the Servant instead of a grail.
Reminder to vote for summoning or the samefags will ruin this quest again.
>>4663805Hey fuck off dude, Im no samefag but Im destroy on it. If anons want the catalyst and what not more power to them but this set up reeks to me.
>>4663807You reek just as bad as your choices
>>4663807yeah but what's the set up exactly? Like i don't understand why you wouldn't want to go through with it, its an easy power up and might give us a chance to kick the shit out of Altrouge when the time comes
>>4663805If you want summoning to win, you're going to have to unify votes. Currently summon votes are split between "Use Catalyst" and "Random" while everyone who wants destroy just has to vote for that.
>>4663805>actually trusting the sketchy vampire bitch to set us up with a servant who won't fuck us overCome on, anon.
>>4663813Why would you trust Altrouge? She is a master of contracts. Who knows what she has done to the circle?
>>4663815You don't have to use the catalyst, and Shinji is a good enough magus to realize that other than the power sources, this is a perfectly normal summoning circle.
>>4663803Can you announce a time when it's going to be called please? Before this thread devolves into namecalling and shitposting.
>>4663815Think she loves us bro
>>4663817Yeah, I'm specifically referring to the catalyst votes. The random option could get weird as well, but I won't be too mad if that one wins compared to the catalyst.
>>4663819When I have time to actually write the update tomorrow so...Like... 13 hours?
>>4663816>>4663817now we know
>>4663823Here comes the samefag train.
>>4663827Whooo Whooo
Ok so here's what we know, this is a perfectly normal summoning circle with its own power source and ready made catalyst and as far as we know, Altrouge is gone for now, literally what are you "destroy the circle" voters worried about beyond "oooooh, spooky vampire lady is gonna get us somehow"
>>4663813Its Altrouge, I dont think this is as straightforward as anons make it out to be. Happy to be wrong if I lose the vote but Im not changing. >>4663812Damn dude you are right, I am actually also every other sub ten reply ID in this thread. ImBatman is me too, we just argued to blow a smokescreen for my nefarious activities.
>>4663824>>4663831Great. I still not going to summon another woman just so she could irrelevant somewhere in the background.
>>4663832At least you admitted it.
>>4663831it's not an unreasonable thing to have worried about.
>>4663817Thanks for clarifying. If its truly a normal circle I am still wary of the power source. Gonna have to stick to destroy out of caution.
>>4663836its not but what exactly are you worried will happen? It looks like this thing is just gonna give benefits for now and if we're really worried, we'll have the multiple Magus on our side to inspect the bloody jewels which are the only thing that's wrong with this whole thing
>>4663835Yeah, but now no one will realize you are also one of my alts.
>>4663838>I am still wary of the power source. You're aware that the power source for the Fuyuki Grail is literally infected with every evil of mankind, right?
>>4663842You just really want us to summon another female servant so you could be all smug about us being evil womanizers don't you?
>>4663823Can't you call in like 2or3 hours and write whenever you have time? Leaving a vote this polarazing overnight is the recipe for trouble.
>>4663843yeah this feels like the sort of vote where QM wants us to go a certain way, i just want things to be interesting so i wanna go with it
>>4663842Sure am! Doesnt mean I couldnt be wary of this one too. But you showed you hand a little too much QM, so Ill switch to using it and just call you out on being silly if it bites us then.>>4663750Changing to:>Use the circle and summon at random. (Dice roll)Im not against using the catalyst given now entirely, if it ends up close feel free to use me as tiebreaker.
>>4663842i'm convinced then, i'm changing my vote>>4663781 to >Use the circle, and also use the catalyst. We should let Sakura summon this one, she can handle two servants when we get Rider back.
>>4663843>Implying that this Servant is going to be a woman.
>>4663843>If its truly a normal circle I am still wary of the power source. Gonna have to stick to destroy out of caution. But anon, what if we finally summon a bro. A bro to hang out with and talk about our woman problems with. A Bro, like Jason.
>>4663842I refuse. You are just trying to push the vote so you could flaunt another female OC.
>>4663851I don't really care just how the vote goes, anon. You'll see what I mean.I feel like nobody is really thinking things through very clearly, so whatever!
>>4663856Man I enjoy this quest but you should probably refrain from pushing votes this much. If you think something is fucking dumb, let us do it and send us to the Dojo. No one likes getting railroaded without at least a humorous bonk on the head by Taiga when we make the wrong choice.
>>4663861The only fucking dumb thing here is you.
>>4663861actually yeah if QM really wants to railroad something, send us to Taiga Dojo, Shiki got eaten by a fucking shark over a choice that didn't even matter that much
>>4663856>I don't really careRight. That's why you left five messages pushing the vote.
>>4663861I'm not pushing the vote per say, I just feel like I could've made things clearer in the update itself. It's fine if you want to destroy the summoning circle out of spite for Altrouge, but the circle itself isn't malevolent or trapped, and Shinji can tell that much.
>>4663872I'm going to add more female OCs to the quest and there's nothing you can do to stop me.
>>4663878God I hope so
>>4663873You may have noticed I did change my vote. But yeah your clarifications and repeated admonishments have made it clear what the "correct" or at least "most correct" options are at this point. Its fine man, these things happen and the atmosphere in these threads can make it hard for an update to not spark a shitstorm and as a QM myself I get that totally.
>>4663878I fucking knew it. You just want to turn this quest into a trashfire as much as that batman fellow does.
>>4663885Batman is the hero we need not the hero we deserve.
>>4663887Big thunk on this guy. Shows up right after Batman stops posting and was called out tripfagging, defends him and attacks his detractors while screaming about samefags.
>>4663892Are you the samefagger? Also I never wanted this quest to die.
>>4663895Never said you did, take your meds.
>>4663907You didn't?
>>4663914Amazing.
>>4663727>Use the circle, and also use the catalyst.I think we all need to call down a bit.
>>4663727TIME FOR MORE BLOODSHED>Use the circle, and also use the catalyst.
>>4663885Call me crazy, but I don't think the qm wants to ruin his quest. >>4663885
>>4663727>Use the circle, and also use the catalyst
>>4663727>>Use the circle, and also use the catalyst.
>>4664005>Bitch causes shitload of trouble then when she realizes that she is in trouble she runs away leaving teary eyed letter and you are saying she should be forgiven. I can already see how when this quest reaches the point when players are confronting her you are going to make a dozen posts about how she is just misunderstood and should be spared.Qm has never done that.
You guys have some serious trust issues. I think the letter is more of the QMs way of saying "Sorry for dropping this sideplot, I want to go back to the main story, have a free gacha roll as an apology."
>>4664028Probably for the best as we already did what we wanted to do and if Alt and Rizo were to keep causing trouble we'd be spending more time tieing up loose ends than on our main objectives.I'd also agree that a lot of the time people mistake What trying to clarify what something is with railroading.
>>4664058>She did sound strangely apologetic about what she did in her letter though, and if she was telling the truth, then maybe it's not even worth pursuing her...? No, Satsuki still needs to get her revenge. It is pretty clear that Shinji still intends to go after Altrouge. I also don't think QM has commented on the player base being bloodthirsty towards Altrouge.
>>4664058It's up to you to make your own conclusions about Altrouge, all the qm did was clarify that Shinji knows the circle itself isn't a trap. That doesn't mean you have to believe anything else about what she said, or forgive anything she's done, it just means that in character we know that the circle isn't trapped.
Give us. THE JACK.
>>4664094Clearly, he thought that he had communicated that it was safe or at least didn't say anything that would lead people to believe it was a trap, but that's enough arguing with someone whose only three posts are bitching about the qm.
>>4663574>is she just trying to try to recruit as many allies as she can right now before she actually goes ahead and tries to take over the harem?fixed it for you
>>4664107He communicated it so well that he had to spend half hour persuading his playerbase to change their votes.>but that's enough arguing with someone whose only three posts are bitching about the qm.Why did you reply to me when I had only one post bitching about QM?
>>4664112All of your posts are whining about the qm, even this one.You have nothing to contribute aside from accusations of railroading and I suggest you stop posting.
>>4664144I suggest you mind your own business. I will post whatever I want and however often I want. And I most definitely not going to ask your permission for that.
you nigs really can't just move on
I think you guys are blowing this out of proportion. Altrouge asking us to forgive her isn't exactly QM asking us to forgive her. I think QM is clearly joking about trying to push in as many OCs as he can. If QM didn't clarify about the circle and we voted to destroy it people would complain that QM is unfair and we made a wrong decision because we had no way of knowing.
I can't check but are any of these ids bitching about QM low post ids?
>>4664196There's a couple complainers with high post counts and one guy who only has posts critical of the qm.
>>4664202Thanks, was just wondering if something wrong was afoot.
>>4664206Drop the trip faggot. And next time dont defend yourself under a new anon ID like a complete jackass.Whatis, tell me, is the type of behaviour you encourage? Some ego tripping tripfaggot shitting up your threads and then changing IDs to defend himself sans trip? I doubt it, you seem a good sort and you run a good quest. Tell this idiot to drop the trip, which he contributes nothing to justify.
>>4664256Dude calm down. It is just a trip.
>>4664256Looks like another Fag to filter. Sorry man the trip falls off sometimes.
>>4664258Trips damage quests. Every fight in here between anons ends at thread change. Ids change, no one know who is who. Everything this guy has started, and there has been a lot, continues carried by him thread through thread via his tripfaggotry. No trips should be allowed in quests where the individual ID is not needed.Id pull up the 4chan FAQ item on trips but I am sure you all have read it before.
>>4664261Also:>>4663887Clearly just a player working in good faith!
>>4664256I don't see any evidence of him shilling himself under a new id.The tripfagging is annoying but I wouldn't want the qm to start calling out such trivial things.>>4664261He's a bit of a clown but I don't see him as an instigator. He mainly just gives trollsome write ins that are usually just ignored or mocked.
>>4664266Read: >>4664263Maybe check IDs. He outed himself hard.
>>4664268You took the bait like a retard. Sorry you're so upset at like 3 posts.
>>4664273>I was MERELY PRETENDING to be a retardgreat stuff
>>4664275Here comes another one
>>4664273The bait of what? You shitting up the thread with two IDs? By the way, I still never said you wanted the quest to fail.
Why is everyone sperging out about everything?
>>4664280Because Tripfagging samefags are cancer.
>>4664278I said my trip dropped. I'm at the beach and when I go into town it sometimes resets my id. I try to remember to put it on for this quest. Get over it my man.
>>4664286Then why did you refer to yourself in the third person on your new ID?
>>4664275Not going through the whole thread to look for this samefag. >>4664280Dude has a hateboner for no reason. Only write in that was "stupid" was the I'm batman bitches >>4664287Because it was from a damned batman film you retard.
>>4664290Sure buddy. Drop the fucking trip, grow a spine, and just participate anon like the rest of us.You are not special. And I don't believe you.

>>4663727>Use the circle and summon at random. (Dice roll)
>>4664311Glad im not the only one who finds random more interesting. Seems catalyst is winning but we shall see I am sure.
>>4663727>Use the circle, and also use the catalyst.
I am yet to vote and I do have an interesting idea. Why not ask Shirou to produce specific catalyst for us to use?
>>4664325this late in the vote its likely to help but thats an interesting idea.I wonder if that would produce a "fake" hero like FSN Assassin or a proper one.
>>4664333* not likely to
>>4663727>Use the circle and summon at random. (Dice roll)While I don't think that Altrouge would put in a catalyst to specifically screw us over, I agree that rng servant sounds more interesting. Also, I just wanted to say I am more than fine with qm doing a bit of railroading given that he has more than proven he is capable of writing a compelling storyline.
>>4664337In general I dont find fault with it, just found this particular case a little heavy handed and poorly explained.
>>4664333Yeah, probaly a bit late.I just remembered that we already fed Shirou memories of>Rule Breaker. Gram. Merodach. Crocea Mors, Durandal, Durindana, Caliburn, Ascalon, Gae Bolg Alternative, Harpe, Moralltach, Beagalltach, the Sword of Paracelcus, Tsumukari Muramasa... S̮̩̫l͈̘̙͢a̴̠̳̹̦̱̺͓sh̝͚̬̗̠͡ ̛͍E̮ṃ̶p̼̭̘͎͓͇e̵͈̩̯̝͙̱̙r̵̪o͙̜͙͠r͕>Gae Bolg AlternativeI wonder if it is possibly to alter ritual even more to pull Scáthach out of Land of Shadows. She just wants to die and we can help her if she so desire.Or ask Alaya to send in another counter guardian or buffed up Servant. It is in her interests. Having somebody really strong like Okita Alter would be pretty beneficial. The key notion is. If we go with the summon and end result is some fucked up heroic spirit with no regards about the world with only desire to use grail despite its corruption we are setting up another problem for ourselves.
>>4663727Voting to use the circle, but before immediately jumping into it...Why don't we show the blade to Shirou first to see if its worth using as a catalyst?Does our cellphone have image sharing capabilities through email etc.? Or we could just leave say, Arc here to guard it and ensure its not used while we check up with him.If it sucks then gacha
>>4664155He didn't give a damn about springing shit out of nowhere for more than a dozen threads but now he does all of a sudden? Every time players would complain about that he would just ignore them. This time his OC was about to be skipped so he made post after post bitching about how we were making a wrong choice. But the moment people switched to the vote he wanted he immediately left the thread and proceeded to ignore everyone. How is this not vote pushing?
>>4664325summon whom though? The strongest hero he could summon would probably be Charlemagne
>>4664325>>4664377Tacking on to this idea too, consult the sword autist when presented with a mystery blade
>>4664367>ScáthachWe need to fucking drag Shirou to the summoning circle right fucking now
>>4664399Too many women. Why not a chad like Sigurd or George? George is absurd and basically unkillable when fighting defensively.Or, why not see what happens if we try and summon Muramasa with Shirou around?
>>4664377We also have Appraisal of Treasure: C+. If it has anything going for it we might get some ideas ourselves. But Shirou can probably guess where it was made and time period even if it is just a piece of metal right now. Which is more than enough for a proper guess.
>>4664408yeah but Scathach is extremely hot and a god tier servant
>>4664418But she can't be summoned conventionally. Nasu gave some meme answer about how she was 'killed' by Goetia burning away humanity. If this is a branched off timeline without humanity's incineration she won't be possible. But her sister is here which may offer some kino. You may accidentally get another Cu/Setenta or even Ferdiad too due to their close relationship as her students though as she probably won't be summonable.
>>4664408>>4664418The biggest argument for her is that we know she has no actual wish for Grail. We can win her full loyalty right away just by showing her that we can kill her is she wants it.Summoning a Servant with a real wish and just telling him we called him to already failed ritual with nothing to gain can go really wrong.
>>4664431her wish is suicide or no more immortality, she wouldn't be a Lancer if she didn't have a wish
>>4664431George is a saint and therefore has no wish too, we're trying to avoid pointless death and save as many people as possible so he'd be more than willing to assist.
>>4663803Wouldn’t that mean the Servant would be bound to Altrouge more than to us? Or even if they were bound to us, they would not be as dependent on us or have no natural inclination to cooperate?I’d really rather not be burning command spells just to keep a Servant from sabotaging us.
>>4664448he would, however, be a Ruler and have to be impartial
>>4664458He can be a rider, lancer or saber as Ascalon takes many forms. He's not even connected to the main grail if summoned through this ritual and as a saint he also nosells vampires ez. Dragons too if any pop up.
>>4664452the servant would be using Altrouge's power source, that's the only real connection they would have. The only thing Altrouge could do is cut them off but then again, we're likely to take the jewels with us and have the gem master look at it.>>4664461We don't really need George for vampire and dragon stuff considering taht we have Archer with his magic bag of sword bullshit
>>4664447Frankly it is hard to call it a real wish in comparison to wanting to erase part of history and other similar stuff.>>4664448Him or Martha or somebody fanatically loyal like Karna might be willing to help out of the box. Solid options to avoid clash of interests.I think Martha in FGO went as far as defying her direct orders to protect France.>>4664452>>4664464Altrouge and her influence is a small issue due to us having Rule Breaker.
>>4664464Out of those listed in Shirou's current memory bank he offers a lot without asking so much back in terms of having his own wish.We could always pick something not on this list and have Touko transfer the memory over to avoid gacha entirely if there is a servant in canon who is particularly suited to the current situation. If its from what we have then..>Rule Breaker. Gram. Merodach. Crocea Mors, Durandal, Durindana, Caliburn, Ascalon, Gae Bolg Alternative, Harpe, Moralltach, Beagalltach, the Sword of Paracelcus, Tsumukari Muramasa... S̮̩̫l͈̘̙͢a̴̠̳̹̦̱̺͓sh̝͚̬̗̠͡ ̛͍E̮ṃ̶p̼̭̘͎͓͇e̵͈̩̯̝͙̱̙r̵̪o͙̜͙͠r͕Resummon Medea?, Sigurd (follows orders, loves foights like Cu, Marduk - Gil's dad lmao, Caesar is a scheming bastard, Roland or Shota Charlemagne, Hektor - is a solid strategist and negotiator, Loli Arturia, George, Scat or her students, Perseus (prick) or Lolidusa, Saber Diarmuid - loyal and stronger than lancer version in canon by a large margin, Paracelcius - hard no he's a mentally ill mage, CLAPShirou catalyst and finally Shirou dies if he projects this and Arc gets mad we tried to erode the planet.Take a pick or suggest something new maybe?
>>4664472Gonna continue shilling George out of those solid loyaltychad options as Martha has no bladed weaponry that would be easy for Shirou to project, and Martha manifesting Tarasque and Karna existing at all are huge mana burns.
Would a nail from a cross be something shirou could trace?
We can also try to go for "canon" Servant.Drake did stick with Shinji for Last Encore. Thats pretty loyal.>>4664477I am not sure where the exact limit of Shirou tto project right now.He managed to produce that ring after all.I assume right now he can do anything as long as it is not over complicated with bladed weapons having a preference and swords being nearly perfect.
>>4664464>>4664472Fair enough, so if connection to Altrouge should not be an issue there’s still few things that could bite us in the back-the circle is compromised somehowAltrouge speaks of corrupted ritual though she’s likely referring to grail war proper. If this circle really was meant for Rizo then it’s probably not rigged to summon something meant to sabotage their master but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t end up with either a twisted version of the servant, or otherwise someone that would qualify as enemy to humanity. And then there’s issue on how our allies will view accepting gift from Altrouge although we should probably be able to convince them with reason that it was a good idea if we come to that conclusion.
Some other loyal options could be certain knights of the round. Gawain, Bedi, Gareth and Lancelot especially might like to see a happy King.Wildcard high base loyalty - Richard, Katou Danzo, Karna, Rama, Izou, Inshun, Ushi, Fuuma, most Hassans, Arash, Okita, Li Shuwen, Tawara - who is absolutely busted in lore and in Japan of all places especially, Kintoki too in that regard, Siegfried, Yagyuu and of course Kiyohime.Lots of fame boost-able high loyalty out of the box options there. There's also the most loyal knight of the round next to Bedi - who also appreciates the problem of too many women.
Oh wait.If we can only summon Servant for vacant spot its really cut our options.First Set:Saber: ArtoriaArcher: EMIYALancer: CuRider: MedusaB̡̛͢͟è̴̶r̴̨͠͝s̸̛̀é̛ŗ̛͞k̵͜e̴͟r̸̛̕ Avenger: Alcides (?)Caster: MedeaAssassin: Shuten Second Set:Saber: MordredArcher: Golden Arrows Spamming GuyLancer: WukongRider: Aífe (?)Berserker: IbarakiCaster: TamamoAssassin: ?So only Assassin left? Unless Mordred left a vacant spot.Betty was an extra.>"Scáthach, I need you to put on a swimsuit".
>>4664503I still want Morgan la fey. Get her and a knight of the round with shirou or Moedred would be great.
>>4664510Well if we're thinking in terms of slots and the summon was meant as replacement for Mordred who is no longer a Servant then it should be a Saber, no?
>>4664538I am more under the impression they wanted to summon something more loyal to them since Mordred de-facto ditched them so I am inclined to believe that dagger might actually belong to Carmilla. Vacant spot seems to be rather shake possibility but it is not everyday you get new Once and Future King so it is too early to write it off.But since they were pretty eager to run away the moment shit hitted the fan despite those preparations and before that they werent fucking around and went as far as to summon Mordred that dagger might belong to someone much stronger than Carmilla. If we were to pick Servant going by those assumptions I think >>4664503 has a solid list of options. Our main enemy is Manaka right now and we lack in stealth department. So Katou Danzo with fame boost might be one of the best choices here given how she has mix of very high loyalty, great presence concealment and insanely strong assassination tools.
>>4664560I wonder if she'd mistake Shirou for Muramasa. They keep retconning back and forth between memory retention from prior summons (which, because the throne lies outside of time is effectively any time onwards from a canon appearance happening ever) but she's effectively an android so her memory retention might differ?A rank Presence Concealment + Illusionary techniques + big bag of ninja tools and a fame bonus would be huge. She's also fairly familiar with Oni. Fuuma has the risk of succumbing to his oni blood if Ibaraki resummons Mt. Ooei even though his stealth kit is as good or better than hers. But he might have nice chemistry with some of the half demon Turkeyhandle cast
>>4664560One of the better options I have seen. Not changing myself but approved of.
Wild idea, but why not let Mordred do the summoning? After all she's alive now and has her own mana reserves. And if she doesn't use a catalyst she's almost guaranteed to get another Knight of the Round.
>>4664567She might summon her other mum which may or may not be a total nightmare.
>>4664568And thus we will reunite the happy family. Good End(?)
>>4664569What if we got Morgan tainted with some unwanted Titania influence though? Judging from the LB6 previews so far.
>>4664571No idea what you are talking about, I dropped FGO a few months ago. Getting Morgan would be neat and seeing her interaction with the new happy Saber and Mordred could be fun.
>>4664565>>4664566The problem with somebody like Fuuma or Okita could be that fame boost might be double aged sword to them should it buff their bad parts. Like how Ibaraki got her mad enhancement buffed.Shame that getting Sakamoto Ryouma with fame boost and Counter Force blessing is impossible. He would have fit right in.
>>4664572pic related>>4664574So Danzou is probably the best option as she's a machine. Can't imagine the fame monkey paw influencing her too poorly. Ryouma is nice, Oryou too if you have enough frogs to keep her occupied. If we ever did take the deal with Alaya a solid wish might be the ability to personally call out counterforce agents when needed with their personalities intact. Gives a solid toolbox of servants FGO style.
>>4664579Worst thing I could imagine happening to her because of fame is her getting next-gen hardware upgrade due to influence on her personal skills upon summon.
>>4664582Or meme'd into a mecha because modern day Japan.>>4664487For a period Violet is Shinji's servant in Foxtail iirc
>ISP craps out for seven hoursGod damn it. That one anon who hates the female OC characters and keeps screaming about how my clarifying that using the summoning circle won't cause an explosion that takes out the entire city block is vote pushing really needs to fuck off though.>>4664568Morgan isn't possible to summon. I don't actually think she ever truly died. Due to being a fairy she should be immortal, and nobody ever actually kills her.>>4664510It's not linked to the Fuyuki System.Altrouge was cheating.
>>4664585I don't know how you function without sleep.
>>4664585In the case>>4663727>Ask Mordred to do the summoning, she'll have her own Servant!I doubt anyone will follow with this idea but I think it's worth trying.
>>4664587Mostly coffee.
>>4664585>Altrouge was cheating.Bad girl.So all rules are off I guess. So does this means we can pull Servants from other timelines like you mentioned in previous thread? Lancer Artoria or Caster Artoria or even Arthur Pendragon? Half expecting him to appear right now with dagger being carnwennan. With summoning seems to be winning will you call it or will we have sub vote on summoning now that we know extra options?
>>4664592You know what? I might just set up a sub-vote quickly seeing as I won't be writing for a few hours. As for additional timelines, it's difficult to summon from those without messing with the circle (You aren't nearly talented enough with summoning to do that) or using the Second True Magic on the circle. (It's beyond the Kaleidosticks to use the Second to that degree.).
>>4663727Calling for summoning and having a sub-vote.>Summon with catalyst dagger.>Summon a random servant of random class. (Dice)>Have Mordred summon instead.>Have Sakura summon instead.>Have Lugh summon instead.>Have Arcueid summon instead.>Call Shirou, ask him if he can bring you a catalyst through UBW (What do you want?)>Write-in...Destroying the summoning circle would've cause an explosion that would destroy the city block. All that magical energy contained within that crystal blood has to go somewhere, and you didn't seem like you were about to get Sakura to destroy it or Shirou to trace Rule Breaker to poke it with.
>>4664598>call Shirou, ask for Ascalon as a catalystThis assumes we can't do some more convoluted memory transfer with Touko to get a wider variety of catalysts.
>>4664599Sorry to add to that >call Shirou, have him examine the dagger first then based on that bring Ascalon as a backup.
>>4664598Have Mordred summon instead
>>4664599I think Shirou might have ALL the NPs now.Not just the ones he mentioned in the update.>>4664598>random servant Gachagachagachagacha
>>4664598>Have Mordred summon instead. Without a catalyst.I would have asked for Arondight but since it's a Divine Construct Shirou can't Trace it.
>>4664598>Call Shirou, ask him if he can bring you a catalyst through UBW>(What do you want?)Any part of Danzou`s arsenal he can replicate. And before summon ask him to identify that dagger.Wish I was a bit more creative right now to come up with anti-Manaka Caster.
>>4664598>>4664602Actually I'll switch to Mordred summon.Hopefully she summons one of her brothers.
>>4664598>Call Shirou, and have him bring Rin on the phone.>Tell our allies what we found and the opportunity it presents, ask if one of them wants to be the one to contract the new Servant, suggest Rin since she's currently squishiest and power doesn't seem to be the issue.>If Rin agrees, she can pick catalyst according to her preference>If she doesn't, use the dagger>spoilerwell, looks like we need to be more careful when assuming Shinji's expertise in magecraft is good enough to not make this sort of mistake without explicitly taking care not to.
>>4664614>destroying the circle out of spite for Altrouge even though he knows it's perfectly fine and usable and basically just acting out of anger.>explicitly taking careRetard.
Why do we have a hateboner for Altrouge again?Because she gave us the succ in the bad end where we easily could have escaped her?Or because she made Satsuki super strong and fulfilled Roa's role in turning her?
>>4664618I don't know why you're so hostile but there's nothing "angry" about breaking up summoning circle left by a powerful vampire with dubious motives just because she wrote us a letter where she says she's sorry for torturing our friend to death.I mean we have every reason to be angry with her, even though Satsuki may choose to forgive her if she sees the letter (or not considering implications for our person), but we are taking a dangerous leap of faith by using something left by her, one I would not consider without OP's hinting that we should take it.
>>4664625People with taste still like her, we're surrounded by plebians.
>>4664626But there is.Destroying it is just fucking ourselves out of some weird desire to fuck with somebody who explicitly doesn't give a shit about the war or circle.Maybe if somebody did a Write-In to disassemble it or have Sakura nullify it, but destroying it is retarded angry sergeant mode.
>>4664629>angry sergeant Sperge. Fuck my cancer autocorrect.
>>4664598>Have Mordred summon instead.
>>4664625Problem with her is that she is pretty evil, wilful and hard to work with.Plus our much better and reliable allies do not really like her. And for a solid reasons.Has she come to help us instead of dead ending us with a lackluster succ players would have been much more willing to find a way to work with her.
>>4664629I think we're understanding the "destroy the circle" choice differently. For me it's - well, was, now that OP confirmed it was a dead end - a choice to not take Altrouge's letter at face value, suspecting the circle and whatever came out of it was meant to entrap us somehow, and to neutralize it so that some random passer by accidentally activates whatever it is (or is not) meant to do.One thing we can reasonably expect is that Altrouge doesn't want us dead, so using the circle presumably wouldn't kill us, so there's that.
>>4664636>so that some random passer by accidentally activatesderp.so that no random passerby accidentally activates it
So, if Mordred is summoning she'll probably end up summoning one of the roundtable knights right?
>>4664636>random passersbyYou mean NPC/mob characters that Shinji doesn't give a shit about?Try to actually vote in character anon.
>>4664638She might get someone like Hua Mulan or Caenis? None of the round table liked or interacted with morud much.
>>4664638If she doesn't use a catalyst then she'll most likely summon another knight. Which would be a good thing since most of them are loyal and strong.
>>4664635I think it's a matter of how we met her. We've never met her on equal ground. Both times we met her she had an insurmountable advantage over us.
>>4664640She's literally siblings with Gawain, Gareth, Gaheris and Agravain.
>>4664639There's one or two anons that keep bringing this up because in like one story post Shinji referred to non-named characters as mobs and questioned their existence, but at no point did we actually act like we don't care about collateral damage or non-named casualties.Shinji is certainly not going to ascribe as much value to random strangers as to named ones he cares about but that doesn't mean he dismisses them entirely as a non-value.Plus they are also part of Alaya.
>>4664643Most of them hated the old her, especially Gawain
>>4664646She still has a strong connection with them, be it hate or love.
>>4664644Yeah but when have we ever done anything for fucking mob characters?>>4664646Gawain can deal with it.
>>4664647Oh I know, but a lot of people are acting like a knight of the round would be loyal automatically to morud if she was the summoner and master.
>>4664649I think they would once they realize both Saber and Caliburn aknowledge her as the rightful ruler.
>>4664649The moment they saw Caliburn they would sort of have to be loyal to her.If not that then Artoria would set them straight.
>Summon a random servant of random class. (Dice)GACHA TIME! GACHA TIME!
>>4664648Well there was not really much of a chance to do so as we've been kept busy, but of the things I recall...We helped a lost girl find a dog in the park before we realized she's a named character. Protecting her from the beast before we realized her identity might also count. We promised to coach a girl in fight before we realized she's a named character. We forbade Shuten from feeding on people. We considered safety of non-servant hostages in raid on the temple. We considered safety of Tohno retainers when facing Berserker.Of course you can twist most or all of that by ascribing some other motive, I guess if it makes you happy.
>>4664654Ok but half of the votes were only doing so because REEEE FUCK YOU ALTROUGE
>>4664598>Have Mordred summon instead.I want to see the knights reaction to King Mordred and Wife Arturia.
>>4664656Fair enough, I can't speak for fellow Anons. Anyway it looks like Mordred will be getting a Servant so I'm curious what she'll draw.
>>4664598>Have Mordred summon instead. Without a catalyst.Plz be tristan plz be tristan.
>>4664654For the first and second points there, Shinji recognized both of them, just not consciously, for the third, it was pretty explicitly to make her palatable to our allies. For your fourth point, we were trying to get Issei and Kuzuki out, so might as well get the rest. And lastly, they were part of a business deal, and its better for business if your business partners are alive.
>>4664656We have had legitimate reasons not to trust her and the only reason summoning won the vote was QM begging for it.
>>4664673>legitimate reasons not to trust herLike "Vampire lady scaaaaaaaaaary?"She's not here. It's a summoning circle. We know it's not boobytrapped.Altrouge is trying to apologise. We don't even need to use it ourselves.>QM begging for itSounds like he just didn't want to write another embarrassing dead end because anon wanted to shoot themselves in the foot instead of accept help from somebody they don't like. But accepting treasure from Gilgamesh and offering to help him is fine right?
>>4664678>We know it's not boobytrapped. We do know, but in character we were not quite certain.>>4663727>There is however still the matter of this summoning Circle to deal with. Can you trust Altrouge to have been telling the truth in her letter? Is this really a working Summoning Circle? If it is, then you might just be able to use it to get some more power on your side before you go ahead and try to liberate your allies from Manaka! Not to mention we're taking it at face value that the letter on Rizo's desk is actually from Altrouge, although admittedly it would be a risk from Rizo to forge a letter from Altrouge in case we showed it to her later.
>>4664678>>4664678>We know it's not boobytrapped.Because QM said so. If he didn't say it there was no indication of it.>didn't want to write another embarrassing dead endWhen did it stop him before? Where were all those posts when players choose to do nothing and be turned into vampire?

Right. Let me make something clear. If you thought I was trying to push the vote in one way, that's fine, I can see how you might think that, and it's true that I did prefer one option over the other, because I considered one to be interesting and potentially fun, and the other to be anticlimactic and boring. If you want to call that railroading, then fine, but you have no idea what railroading actually is, because at the end of the day it was still the players choice.I just failed to properly get across the fact that it wasn't going to fuck you over in some way in the text itself and I wanted to clarify. Had destroy actually won, I would've probably given an additional vote on how to destroy the magic circle instead of just bad ending you over it immediately. It would've been very boring and then you would've left with nothing.>>4664788Please stop breaking /qst/ rules, complaining about quest progression is against the rules of the board and I believe it's a bannable offence. You wouldn't want to get rangebanned would you?
>>4664788>I'm not pushing the vote per say, I just feel like I could've made things clearer in the update itself. He's already addressed the lack of clarity in the update, you're a shitter for shitters sake.If anyone is interested in getting rid of this guy, I suggest you report his posts in the hope a mod comes along and rangebans him.
>>4664797Well that wasn't that hard was it? Instead of saying all this bullshit >>4664585All I ever fucking wanted was one genuine post that would address shit. There were at least 3 different anons with high post count who have complained but no it's just "That one anon" stirring shit up. Just call them all samefags that will solve everything. And then have your bitchboys attack anyone who leaves less than stellar remarks. >It would've been very boringDidn't stop you before. Where were your warning before? How many badends did we have when one vague post from you would turn things around? I suppose every badend before was extremely interesting but this one explosion was just unbearably boring.>complaining about quest progressionI didn't complain about quest progression once. I don't vote ever. I accept any outcome and continue reading. I complained about one singular problem which was vote pushing. That's it. Thanks for twisting my words again though. You seem to be a fan of that.>You wouldn't want to get rangebanned would you?If you feel that you should rangeban me go right ahead.
