/qst/ - Quests

Were you to travel the stars, across this vast universe, no doubt tales of a mighty warrior race would reach your ears. Many speak of the Saiyans with awe and wonder, marveling at their power and aspiring to become like them. Others speak in hushed tones, of the fear and despair in facing the warrior race in battle. But one thing all agree on, is that standing against the might of the Saiyan race would spells certain doom. Many have tried, several going as far as to invade the Saiyan’s homeworld of New Salda. Yet every invasion has failed, defeated by the Saiyans and their most powerful warriors: the golden-haired Super Saiyans, and the green-haired legend who leads them. But once more they march, leaving their home behind and advancing into the heart of their enemy’s territory. Which side will triumph, and who will perish?

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, the story of an alternate timeline in the greater Dragonball world. Currently it is Age 749 and you the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the radiant symbol of Saiyan might. Now as a PTO general with a powerlevel of over 34 million, and close friend and confidant of Lord Freeza himself, Karn has become one of the strongest beings in the entire universe.

Current Arc: The Great War

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

With the attack on High Charity in full swing, Karn took the battle to the Covenant’s Stand users. Taking only minor yet painful injuries Karn defeated every enemy before him, until From Shadows escaped. Then after wandring through a mysterious fog, Karn and his allies found themselves inside another dimension curtesy of a Stand known as Carnival Forever. And as we rejoin Karn, you’d just smashed a statue of the clown stand only for an inflatable version of him to rise up from the rubble.

“DIE!!” Meloka shouts, swiping her ki blade across her body and sending a dozen or so Ki Needles toward the clown’s face. But the clown isn’t deterred, taking a deep breath that inflates it’s head even further as it eats her attack. Then it rapid-fire spits Meloka’s attack back towards you all, you activating your Barrier and expanding it out. Her needles stab into the shield, piercing about halfway through before it finally stops them. Then they explode, you letting the shield drop as the blasts were far enough away from your allies to avoid harming them. “Tch!”
“Oooh, a feisty one.” the clown says, giggling to himsef. “We’re going to have such fun together. I enjoy breaking the feisty ones.”
“You there. You seem to be in charge of this place.” Freeza says, stepping forward and introducing himself. “My name is Lord Freeza, and I am the leader of this here hunting party. If you wish to live, point us to the nearest exit and we shall be on our way. Else we shall be forced to murder you, and then continue on our way. Either or, it’s up to you.”

“Eeehehehehehehee! You really think your little words can affect me?” what you perceive to be the Stand says. Which is surprising, as Freeza and Meloka both can clearly see and it. “I am the god of this world. No one leaves here, unless I want them to.”
“There’s a first time for everything.” you say, stepping forward as well. “I’ll get out of here, even if I have to break every little thing in your world to do it.”
“Speaking of breaking.” the clown says, clapping it’s hands together. Then as it pulls them apart, you see a grisly scene. Blood is splattered all over the walls and floor of some sort of dungeon, a figure laying in a heap in the center of it. Tattered cloth and broken armor lay scattered about, and the figure is beaten near to death, but you still recognize him. This bastard somehow kidnapped your son!

“CHILLI!!” you shout, aura flaring as your rage boils over. And without thinking you rush the bastard, your wife doing the same. But just as you both close in, it pulls another unexpected move as it’s head just EXPLODES!
cont
>>
>>4608812
“SHIT!!” you shout, a storm of rectangular blades spinning out from it’s head’s explosion. They slice through flesh and armor easily, one splitting your Scouter in two and nicking your left ear. Taking a moment to check yourself to make sure the wounds aren’t serious, you pluck the paper-thin cutting weapons from where they’d stuck into your armor free and toss them to the ground. While doing so you watch the clown reaching down into it’s own neck, pulling another head up into the original’s place with an audible pop. “Where’s my son you bastard?!”

“He’s in a very safe place. Try checking out any lovely attraction or two!” the clown taunts you. Then vanishes as Meloka unleashes a Final Flash that consumes the clown entirely. Well, not entirely. As it’s body is seemingly ripped to shreds, it’s damned creepy laugh continues to echo out. “But you’d better hurry, because his life’s about done too!”
“Damn you!!” Meloka snarls, your wife on the edge of exploding in rage as Freeza very calmly and precisely lays a hand on each of your shoulders. “That bastard took Chilli!”
“I know. But losing your head won’t save him.” Freeza says, you laying a hand on your wife’s other shoulder without looking back. “We need to act, and swiftly.”

And he’s right. But what do you do? What CAN you do?
>Focus on finding Chilli first, try to use ki sense and Instant Transmission to get right to him alone while the others try finding an escape
>Have Meloka focus exclusively on finding Chilli, try flying up again. You’d felt a force trying to push you down, pit your might against that and see which is stronger
>Ask Kano if he’d seen that room before, and if he has lead you all to it
>Have Meloka Barrier everyone while you go all-out and unleash an Event Horizon on this entire place. Chilli can’t possibly be here, he’s back on the Lucrehulk with the other Black Dragons. This bastard’s just trying to lure you into a trap.

>>
>>4608825
I will warn you, going for a wish now will mean Divine Dragon Force will NOT be available for the prophets, and whatever users they have by their side. Allies lending you power does not strengthen your soul, the fuel for your Stand’s wish. And lastly, Carnival Forever’s user is confirmed NOT in this realm
>>
>>4608832
I imagined it'd cost a hell of a lot, but in overall terms, it's just transporting ownership f a stand from one person to another, and a stand that already does that at that. Between vegeta's and Frieza's power alongside our own we should have more then enough to wish for it, and from there, taking GD's words at face value, Frieza should be able to let us all out
>>
>>4608837
>Allies lending you power does not strengthen your soul, the fuel for your Stand’s wish
>"Soul", Noun. Singular
But what if we had "souls"? As in trillions of em.

>>4608829
switching to this.
>>
>>4608825
No. Not just no, but hell no. This is not the time for a trump card when we still have a Prophet to take out.
>>
>>4608840
>it's just transporting ownership of a stand from one person to another
It's forcing a Requiem Stand to bond to a new host who may or may not have the potential to develop a Stand in the first place.
Also GD makes a good point about us not having DDF when we get to the Prophets if we burn a wish now.
>>
>>4608842
But what makes a soul wonderous? Is it luck, to be born magnificent? Or one that’s been forged and tempered? All souls are not equal
>>
>>4608844
>>4608845
True, suppose the idea of Requiem stand Golden Frieza blinded me to the downfalls. Was just gonna assume that Frieza would be able to deal with the Prophet once he was able to see Stand's and had one on par to Carnival Forever, and worst comes to worst maybe Chilli could give us the same sight he had given himself, but that worked too much on the assumption he could give it to others.

>>
>>4608818
You stand there for a few seconds fuming, then it snaps! You turn around to Kano, who still looks like he’s going to be sick, and grab him by the shoulders.

“You saw that too, right?” you ask him, staring him dead in the face. “Did you recognize that room?”
“I couldn’ see much of it, fer all the blood.” he says, but meeting your gaze steadily. “I think that may be in the ol’ haunted house.”
“Then lead us there, right now.” you say, letting him go. “My son’s life is in danger, we’ve gotta get him right now.”
“The ‘aunted house is on the bloody other side of the park.” he tells you. “You’ll know it when ya see it. Now c’mon, that boy of yours clearly ain’t got much time left.”

With that Kano takes off at a jog, everyone following behind in a loose formation watching our for another of that clown’s tricks. Yet despite seeing people from afar, as you get close their smoky forms all vanish only to reappear behind you all once you’d moved on. You wonder what they could be a moment, just to take your mind off of how much this bastard made your son suffer.

“Step right up and take a whack!” the clown calls, you turning to your riggt and seeing him standing beside a short tower with a bell on top. “Test your might, and ahow your girl how strong you are. Like this!”
And he swings an oversized wooden hammer down, onto something that looks a lot like your son! Guts fly, some rising high enough to strike the bell and cause it to ring. “Fun for the whole family!”
“I’LL KILL YOU!!” Meloka roars, launching herself at him with blades drawn. You’re almost tempted to do the same, but you clearly see what he’s doing. He’s trying to get you riled up and so busy attacking this form that you don’t realize Chilli still needs your help. So as she tries to fly past, you plant your feet and catch her legs. “Karn? What are you doing, let me go! That bastard-!”
“Is trying to distract us.” you tell her, letting go of her. “C’mon, Chilli still needs our help!”
“I’m going to make you beg for death.” Meloka tells the clown after a moment’s silence, turning away from him and continuing after Kano. He tries another few variations of the same trick, but after getting no responses quits trying.

“‘Ere we are.” Kano says, you turning past an orange and green striped tent and seeing what looks like a gated old manor. A wickedly-spiked fence surrounds it, the air around this building feeling several degrees colder than the rest of this place so far. “One ‘aunted manor. That room we saw’s probably the basement. So once we’re in, look out for staircases leading down. That’ll be the way to him.”
“Are you sure?”
cont
>>
>>4608911
As Kano has his back to the building talking to you all, none of you noticed a figure perched high atop the building. But as he spoke you all turned, seeing him standing up there as if king of the world. Once he has your attention he leaps down, but never touches the ground. You feel the tiniest spark of Freeza’s ki, seeing it sparkle against the clown’s chest as it lifts him back into the air.

“Wait, what? What is thi-?!” he shouts, before disappearing inside a rather large explosion. You turn, seeing Freeza’s hand still outstretched and glaring at where the clown was. He meets your gaze evenly and doesn’t say anything, but you can tell he’s nearly as furious as you are. But there’s no more time, you have to get in there and find your son!

But how?
>Charge in as a group, kick every door down until you find the right one
>See if any of the Black Dragons have an ability for stealth to go in and find your son
>Have everyone but yourself and Meloka wait outside while you to go on in, find your son and then Instant Transmission him outside

Well I’m mad at DBM again. I probably should stop reading it but I’m a masochist like that.

Is Karn’s Dad Level high enough to tame even a complete piece of shit like U16 Bra? Or would he give up and just kill her?
>>
>>4609036
Aside from respecting it for pretty spot on art I know nothing about DBM, what's wrong with this scene?
>>
>>4609038
An alternate universe Bra where Vegetto is her father is mind-controlled by an alternate universe Babidi (she's stronger than Mystic Gohan in SS2). After she kills a bunch of innocent people her canon counterpart disses her into submission and when the dust settles only Vegetto wants to punish her for her actions while everyone else is cool with it since she seems to have "learned her lesson" and all the people she killed got magicked back to life.
I'm not all that broken up over it one way or the other but it's kind of silly how low the stakes can be in a seemingly serious situation.
>>
>>4609047
Sounds like what happened to Buu, so pretty spot on. But yeah, should probably be a bit of resentment, if not some self loathing on Bra's part.
>>
>>4609047
Honestly what annoys me more is the fact that she’s almost as mentally unstable as OG Broly but without the excuse of being a mutant or having a shitty childhood.

>>4609056
U16 Pan especially should resent her for a while, given she killed her dad.
>>
Gonna be another twenty or so minutes, this one’s a pretty big update
>>
>>4609047
Not surprising. DBM Bra is Salagirs OC Donut Steel Mary-Sue, so of course she’s going to be the strongest and get away with killing everyone.
>>
>>4609071
Why can't bad people who do bad things just get killed and remembered as being bad? Poor bad guys can't even keep their rep as bad guys. What a world.

>>
>>4608913
“Kano. Can any of your people sneak in there?” you ask him, turning to face the Black Dragon’s leader. “Someone who’s Stand may perhaps help them slip through?”
“There is one...” he says, nodding to the building. You turn, just in time to see the front door shutting as something closes it. You whip your head around, yet still see every one of his people here. He taps the side of his head, and realizing what he wants reach out to him telepathically. You also connect to Meloka’s mind, so she can hear him too.
“What was that?” you think to him, looking around confused and seeing himself, Erron Black, Tremor, Kira, and Tasia. “But everyone’s still here.”

“Almost everyone.” he replies, also telepathically. “Sorry to hide it from you, but I was hoping Chameleon would have been able to hide his presence a little longer.”
“You were hiding a whole other Stand user from me?” you ask, shocked. You hadn’t sensed anything the entire time, not a-wait. Yes you did, you did feel someone watching you earlier in the halls of High Charity. “Chameleon, huh?”
“His name’s appropriate, with his Stand Karma-Karma.” Kano starts to explain, you holding up a hand. Switching tracks you reach out with your mind, searching for one brilliant mind in particular.
“Chilli, are you there?” you think out, desperately hoping your son can feel you. “Chilli, we’re here. I sent an invisible man to find you, so I can come in and rescue you. Chilli? Please, tell me where you are. Say something.”

But as you try over and over to reach your son, you don’t hear anything back, and can’t feel his mind at all. Which means he’s either unconscious, or worse...No. You won’t even consider it. Your son’s alive, he has to be! You keep trying to reach him, and several minutes later hear rhe front door opening with a creak. You look up, hoping to see your son, but instead it’s that damnable clown again.

“What’s wrong? Are the rest of you scared to step inside?” the clown says, opening the front door and walking out. “I know you sent your little rat, but from me he can’t hide.”
“Black Dragon!” Kano shouts, summoning his twin dragons Stand around his arms. “What did you do to him?”
“Why don’t you come inside, and find out?” the clown asks, giggling maniacally as he shuts the door behind himself.
“Dammit! I shouldn’t ‘ave sent him in alone.” Kano mutters, dropping to his hands and knees as the man simply breaks down. “Dammit dammit dammit!”

Yet a second later you all hear the sound of glass breaking, and look up to see the topmost window breaking outwards. And right behind it, you see large, thorned tentacles lash out of the broken window and wrap around an invisible figure.
cont
>>
>>4609087
“Erron, now!” Kano shouts, leaping towards the shattering window with his Stand at the ready.
“High Noon!” Erron calls, and the gunslinger unleashes his Stand the whole world slows down. Which isn’t entirely correct, as you still feel yourself thinking normally. But everything’s now moving in slow motion, even Kano’s and Tasia’s leaps toward their ally seem to almost stop in midair. But one man continues to move at normal speed, you watching as Erron steps forward, drawing one of his holstered pistols. He doesn’t even aim, holding the left-handed weapon at waist level and firing six rapid shots. Yet even his bullets get slowed down, traveling less than half the distance towards that tentacle before slowing almost to a stop too. Then as he holsters his weapon, time rapidly resumes.

“Tremor!” Kano shouts, several pillars of stone rising out of the earth between you all and the thorned tentacle. Kano and Tasia leap higher and higher off the tops of the pillars, while Erron’s bullets all strike the tentacle at the window and nearly tear it apart. The appendage writhes in pain, dropping the figure it’d wrapped around. “Save him!”

And as Kano shouts his Stand leaps out from his right arm, wrapping around the figure you can’t see. Meanwhile the woman summons a blade of unimaginable darkness in her hands, and swings down on the tentacle. In the aftermath of where it slashes, for just an instant you can see what appears to be the hallways of High Charity you’d left behind. Then her blade slices through the tentacle, and at first nothing seems to happen. Despite the blade passing through the thorned limb, it doesn’t seem to have actually cut anything. But as you watch, the entire limb begins drying and shriveling up like a dehydrated plant until it hangs limply out the window. A moment later the dead part of the vine snaps off under the weight, the healthy portion retreating back inside the building.

“C’mon Chameleon, talk to me.” Kano’s saying, as the form in his hands becomes visible. He looks a lot like those Lin Kuei guys you’d seen a few times, except his body is almost completely clear and his uniform’s colors keep shifting. “What did you see?”
“Down the first hall, door on the left.” Chameleon says, coughing up color-shifting blood. And it’s only then that you notice he has several punctures all over his body, torn bloody holes from that vine’s thorns. “In the second room of the basement. But watch out. For the. Flower....”

And with that he passes out, energy wavering. You’re going to give him some of your own ki, to keep him alive, but how do you save your son?

“Here. Hold him still.” you say, kneeling beside Kano and placing your right hand flat against his Chameleon’s chest. Focusing your ki, you begin channeling your energy into him, your energy boosting his own flagging strength. The man gasps as your ki surges into him, stabilizing him. “This should help hold you over, until we get out of here.”
“Th-Thanks.” he says, you shushing him.
“Save your strength. We’re not out of the woods yet.” you say, pushing yourself back to your feet. “Meloka, Freeza, can you two stay here and help protect them? As soon as I get to Chilli, I’m bringing him right out.”
“You can’t be planning to go in there alone!” Meloka says, stepping towards you. “I’m comi-mrmph!”

You silence her with a kiss, your wife clinging desperately to you for a second before you let go.

“I’m not going alone.” you reassure her. “But they all need your power and technique out here to protect them, until I get back. Tasia, was is? I need your help.”
“You want me going in there, with you?” she asks, seemingly suspicious of you. “Why?”
“I saw what your Stand did.” you tell her, not hiding your intentions. I’m gonna need your help cutting through this Carnival Forever’s bullshit. Will you help me save my son’s life?”

“Well...” she says, clearly torn as she looks back to Kano. Who nods once, and she doesn’t hesitate. “With steely resolve in her eyes she nods to you once. “Let’s go.”
“You, rock boy. I need you to lift your group up on a platform.” you hear Meloka giving orders, doubtlessly working to turn the area into a death trap for whatever else this bastard has up his goofy sleeves.
“Stay close.” you say, not looking back and walking right up to the door. Knowing it opens inwards, you’re tempted to simply try opening it. But you’re too pissed off at this asshole to respect his world, instead lifting your left boot and kicking the door right off it’s hinges. The door tumbles down the dark hallway, several clearly-toy skeletons pop out of the paintings as the door tumbles past, then shatters to pieces against the far wall. As you do, you focus your ki sense on Freeza, and reach out telepathically as well. “I’m keeping in contact. If anything happens to me, you’ll know.”

“If anything happens to you, the rest of us aren’t leaving here alive.” Freeza replies, you certainly feeling that pressure. “Get your son, and get the hell out of there.”

You make your way inside the “haunted house”, following Chameleon’s directions as they lead you down a narrow flight of stairs and into the basement. This room looks much more like the image you’d seen, stone block walls and floor, with a single thick metal door already opened. And just past that door, laying in a puddle of mostly-dried blood, broken armor and shredded clothes is your son. Chilli. You take two steps into the room, towards your son when you feel it. Your instincts are screaming at you that you’re in danger. So instead of creating a Barrier, or trying to sense something while the only powerlevel you’re locked onto is Freeza’s, you quit holding back your power and Ascend.

“RRRRYAAAAAAA!!” you roar, sparks flying as your already titanic power doubles. And just in time, as several of those thorny vine tentacles shoot out from around the doorframe at you. They all strike off your body, despite being a part of this Carnival Forever’s Stand don’t manage to so much as scratch you. But you don’t let them just get away, grabbing them all in your arms and planting your feet. “Tasia, now!”
“Black Blade!” she shouts, dashing forward as she conjures the abyssally black blade. And with a single precise strike slices through them all. Again no physical damage is present, yet the vines all wither and die within seconds from where she cut it as she leaps backwards. But this time, these vines dying is accompanied by an ear-splitting, agonized screech.

“HOW DARE YOU!?” a giant sunflower with a face shrieks, face appearing from the right side of the doorway. “I’ll kill you for tha-!!”
“Die.” you interrupt simply, firing a Scatterbeam from your left hand. All five beams pierce through it’s ‘face’, rocking the creature back. But it doesn’t die, the entire flower glowing bright as it focuses again at you. “Barri-!”

But before your Barrier can form, a massive beam of energy slams into you. And despite taking your strongest form, the torrent of energy hits you with enough force to drive you back-first into and through the staircase you’d just went through. It pins you against the wall for several seconds, but quickly fades away. Stepping forward you push off, dashing the distance between you and the giant flower near-instantly. Before it can react you grab it, and with two steps back up into the first room. Tasia doesn’t need a cue, lifting her blade overhead and decapitating the murder flower. It cries out in agony, you seeing through Carnival Forever and back into the halls of High Charity for an instant as her sword leaves a trail of dark behind it. But within an instant the cut seals itself, leaving the both of you alone in the basement. Well, not alone.

“Chilli!”

Rushing into the blood-soaked room you slide to a stop by your son. He looks so fragile like this, broken sword still clutched in his clearly-shattered right hand, his face cut to shreds and his entire body more bloody wounds than flesh. But as you place your hand on his chest, you feel it dip a bit. And then rise! He’s alive! Without hesitation you bring your right hand to your forehead, Tasia putting her hand to your back as you focus on Freeza’s ki, and teleport. One moment you’re in the bloody dungeon, the next beside Freeza and everyone else. But you have ni time for everyone else, focusing on your ki and sending it surging into your son. His own energy levels spike, and with a gasp his eyes open. Or, rather, eye. In the light you can see what looks like jagged bite marks around his right eye socket, his eye missing entirely. And the first thing he sees is you.

“D-Da-!” he tries, coughing up blood as he tries speaking. “It’s no...Not. Real.”
“Chilli, it’s me.” you tell him, cradling your tiny-seeming son in your giant arms. “I’m here kiddo. I’m so sorry. I’m-“
“Daa. Lii...sin.” he says, still struggling to speak. And something in his voice compels you to just shut up and listen. “Can...T fight... Find...h...ha...art...”

And this exertion clearly wiped him out, your son passing out in your arms. For a second you’d though he succumbed to the many, many wounds, but feeling his energy he’s holding steady. At least for now. But he’s in terrible shape, any more damage could push him over the edge.

“You got yer kid, now we’ve gotta git outta ‘ere.” Kano says, you looking up over to him. “Do ya got a plan?”

Well? Do you?

The choice to fly up doesn't sound right, I wonder if the reason he stopped us is because he has the most influence around his core or something, and the air would just get us distance from his tricks. Could be wrong, but we may as well see if Kano knows anything first before trying anything.

“Chilli was saying something about you can’t fight him, you have to go for the heart.” you say, wishing your Stand could heal wounds like Caulifla’s. Caulifla...Wait! Just before you left, she gave both youband Meloka something! Holding your boy with your right arm you reach back with your left, pulling the tiny stoppered bottle free. Yanking the cork free with your teeth, you tilt your son’s head back and pour the glowing mixture down his throat. You watch him eagerly, waiting to see what happens. It’s slow at first, almost unnoticeable, but you begin seeing a soft golden glow begin radiating from him. The light concentrates around his injuries, which is most of him, and as it fades your son is healed! His robes and armor are tattered, but he is okay! His breathing evens out, no longer catching and stopping his breaths every second or so.

“Here.” you say, offering him what’s left in the glass. He takes it without hesitation, and does the same wirh his still-unconscious ally. His wounds mend as well, although not fully like Chilli’s did. But Kano clearly appreciates the gesture, and helps Kira carry his unconscious form on her back. “He was talking about a heart. Have you seen anything like that around here?”
“A heart? No, I haven’t...” he says, then his eyes widen in surprised realization. He then turns to his allies, and asks them a question. “Maybe he doesn’t mean an actual heart. What’s always at the heart of every carnival?
“The Merry Go Round.” Tremor of all people answers immediately, everyone looking at him. Which he gets a little defensive about. “What? I used to work at a carnival, setting up and breaking it down back before I joined up. But at every single one, no matter the location, the Merry Go Round is always the centermost setup.”

“Then I believe there is where we shall fight the true Carnival Forever.” Freeza says, but his voice isn’t inspiring. Instead, he’s very cautious. “And I believe it will be the heart of this monster’s power as well. Be on your guard, it will try everything in it’s power to keep us from destroying it.”
“It can try whatever it wants.” you snarl, emerald electricity dancing dangerously around your body as you rise up to your full height. “This bastard went too far. And I’m going to tear out it’s heart, for Chilli.”
“Uhh, thanks Dad.” Chilli says quietly, you realizing the volume of your declaration no doubt woke him up. “Wait, where am I? What happened? Are we still-?”
“Well well, look who’s finally awake!” Carnival Forever’s voice calls, as a giant balloon version of his head rises up past your elevated platform. “I’m surprised you can move, after-Wait, what?”
“HRRRYYAAAAAAA!!!”
cont
>>
>>4609389
Chilli Ascends in a burst of azure sparks as he leaps down from your arms, landing on his own feet and facing down the giant clown balloon head with his broken sword still in hand.

“You talk too damn much. Moron.” Chilli says, confidently facing down the monster who’d nearly killed him. “You told me your weakness, after you caught that shadow skulking around.”
“Wait, you saw that?” the clown asks, the shock apparent on it’s bloated face. “You were still conscious after all that?”
“Conscious enough.” your son replies with a smirk, then in a mocking impersonation, “Finally caught you! Now I’m gonna go feed you to the heart.”

The clown’s colors fade, it realizing that Chilli had indeed heard what your son said. Then it gets angry, steam pouring off of it. But before the clown can act, Chilli moves first.

“Darkness Slash!” he shouts, sweeping a what looks like a wide Death Slash of elemental darkness from the first finger of his left hand. And much like Tasia’s Black Blade, for an instant in the wake of Chilli’s attack, you can see back into High Charity. But Chilli’s darkness slices through the clown, it exploding again into a giant storm of confetti. “We gotta move. He’ll-“

And his sentence is squeezed out of him, as Meloka wraps her arms around her son and holds him tight. He tries to resist for a moment then gives up, hugging her back as Tremor lowers the platform back down to ground level.

“I’m so happy you’re okay.” you hear Meloka whisper-sob, clearly not wanting to break down in front of the others. “I was so worried about you.”
“I’m just glad it was me, and not Cauli or Chaya he pulled in here.” he replies, your blood running cold. You frantically expand your ki range out as far as it goes, yet there’s nothing. Outside of your group, there is nothing alive in this dimension. “C’mon Momma, we gotta stop this monster.”
“You’re right.” she says, letting go of him and straightening up. Which is when you realized your son had grown while away at war, not just physically stronger but also mentally. And you can see it in his eyes, what he went through here has changed him. Whether for good or for ill you don’t know, but the boy who was captured and tortured here died. Your son is a man now, and has the hard eyes of one. “We gotta move.”
“Yes, but how?” Freeza says, you all turning to him. “Should we simply try and power through, forcing through whatever defenses this bastard has set up? A two-front war, attacking from two sides? Or perhaps we simply level everything, and leave nothing standing as we advance?”

How will you approach the heart of Carnival Forever Requiem?
>Frontal assault, full power led by you and Golden Freeza

Actually. I think this brings up a good point. What do the two swords have in common? Well I'm no betting man, but I'd bet along with draining life, Tasia's sword is also some variant of cut anything. Food for thought but I'd wager that every living construct as an active part of this stand, or maybe even the air itself considering the votes prior, are cutable and that the only reason we can't poierce it with dragon force is either because we can't very well perceive or target it, or alternatively we're operating on 2D screening and for some reason the cuts that Chilli and Tasia make are able to surpass that and cut the dimension, ro the film so to speak.

“Lord Freeza, I think it’s time.” you say, turning to him. “I think it’s time we started going all-out.”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=YSwK_4chZOs

“Wait, what?” Kano asks, sounding shocked.
“On that we agree.” Freeza says, spreading his arms wide and leaning back, as golden energy begins to pour off of him. Slowly at first, but his energy quickly turns into a torrent as his power explodes. You can barely see him through his pillar of energy, Freeza’s true power causing Carnival Forever’s entire little dimension to shudder and quake. As he begins unfurling his true, final form, you can almost taste the Stand’s fear hanging in the air.
“Here.” Bane whispers in your ear, and again you feel something inside your head twitch. Once more Bane decides to assist you, allowing you to drink in even this Stand’s fear. “You really should learn to do this yourself, once this is over.”
“It’s on my to-do list.” you reply telepathically to the ancient sith, as Freeza’s transformation completes.

“Behold, the greatest power in the entire universe!” Freeza declares, turning to the hundreds of clowns that have gathered around you all. “This, is Golden Freeza! Now, General Karn, are you ready?”
“Let’s do this.” you reply with a ferocious grin, both of you launching yourselves forward towards the enemy.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=Ms9YQiOUPSc

“HAAAAAA!!” you roar, tossing a Scattershot followed up quick by a horizontal Death Slash. Your attacks cut down a swathe of the clowns instantly, and in that time you and Freeza close the distance, you slamming your fist through one as Freeza kicks another, laughing the whole time. “HRRYAAAA!!”
“Ooooohohohohohoo!” laughs Golden Freeza, his every movement striking down at least one of the clowns. You’re pushing through these bastards, but every glimpse of Freeza you get demonstrates the sheer power gap that lay between you right now. For every one you destroy, he takes down a half dozen. But you’re not gonna let him show you up that easily!

“GRRRAAAAAAA!!” you bellow, unleashing an Explosive Wave that sends dozens flying. Yet before you can capitalize on the opening, what look like dozens of criss-crossing beams pierce through them all. Glancing over, you see it’s the work of a single, one-handed Scatter Beam from Freeza. He notices your stare and smirks, casually slapping one coming up behind him with his tail before ending the beam and continuing the attack. You do the same, drawing hammer and sword both as you again charge forward. Slicing through the first horizontally you spin, swinging the hammer and smashing it against another two or three. The hammer unleashes it’s shockwave, you using that momentum to spin and cut down three more with your blade.

“On and on you fight, carving what would be a brutal slaughter through the masses of clowns. Yet despite how many of them there are, not one can land a solid blow on you. Which is when Carnival Forever starts changing tactics, and starts using some of it’s wierder powers. Some explode in showers of razor-sharp cards, others into metal caltrops forcing you to watch your step while still more shoot what you presume to be acid, and some even breathe fire. Yet no matter what they try, with your power raised beyond your max they can’t hurt you. And your power is still rising, thanks to Carnival Forever’s increasing fear as you drive deeper and deeper into his ‘forces’.

“There! I see it!” Freeza shouts, and without hesitation begins showing his true strength. Without hesitation he forms a Death Beam, swiping it from left to right and bisecting hundreds of the clowns simultaneously. They all explode in various ways, but you and Freeza simply keep pushing forward. With your family behind you, Freeza by your side and this Stand’s fear driving you forward, you feel invincible. And then, you’re through. You and Freeza break through the lines, and finally come face-to-face with Carnival Forever itself.

“I-Impossible!” the amusement ride’s central pillar says, it’s face resembling that of it’s clowns. “This can’t be happening!”
“I’ll hold them off. Finish it.” Freeza says, you feeling him unleashing his ki at the sea of clowns behind you. Leaving yoy facing this monster.
“I-I won’t let you kill me!” it says, all the horses disconnecting from the ride and charging right at you. Which you effortlessly cut down with a sword-channeled Death Slash, the Stand clearly terrified now as you sheathe both weapons. You don’t need to be literally drinking his fear to know you’re swimming in it, this thing feels down in it’s heart that it can’t stop you now. “Please, spare me! I-I’ll send you all right back where you came from, just please don’t hurt me!”

Well? What do you do?
>Summon Divine Dragon Force, and end this
>Ask it if he spared Chilli, when he was trying to beat your son to death. And react appropriately
>Have it send everyone else you came with back first, as a symbol of it’s repentance.
>Tell it to beg for mercy, then kill him anyways. You won’t let him live, but something tells you that you’ll feel even more satisfied than from it’s fear if you do it this way

“Mercy? You want mercy?!” you shout, anger and aura both flaring at this bastard who almost took your son away from you. “What about my son, Chilli? When you were beating him to death, and had him helpless beneath your heel, did you show him mercy?”
“I, uhh, well, he’s alive now, isn’t he?” Carnival Forever asks you meekly. “No harm no foul, right? Right?”
“Divine Dragon Force.” you say, your crimson dragon Stand appearing coiled tightly around your right arm. “Let’s end this.”
“No, no no no! I can’t die!” it shouts, then fires a pair of beams from it’s eyes “YOU will die!”

“HRRRYAAAAAA!!” you scream, launching yourself fist-first at Carnival Forever.
“GWRRROOOOOAAAAAARR!!” your Stand bellows, smashing through it’s weak beams and slamming into it right between the eyes. As your attack connects you feel a slight bit of resistance, the enemy Stand trying to hold itself together, but your combined power is too much. It’s body splits apart under the pressure, phantom blood spraying everywhere as your charge carries you straight through Carnival Forever. Your attack tears it apart, the world dying around you as it does. The sky begins falling down, the ground breaking apart beneath your feel and the structures all tumbling down as Carnival Forever meets it’s end. And just like that, it’s over. You find yourself back inside another normal-seeming hallway of High Charity, the Kig Yar in the funny suit from before dead on the ground with a giant hole in it’s chest. But that’s not all, as you return to reality you see four Sangheili with weapons drawn pointed your way.

“Go!” you shout, Divine Dragon Force not hesitating. Your Stand closes the few feet between you and them, piercing through the one to your far right while you decapitate the one on the left with a dash-up turning kick. You then twist into a left back kick, your foot going through that splitjaw’s chest and armor. Dragon Force eliminates the last one, and just like that they’re down. You turn and look back, dropping your Stand and asking, “Everyone okay?”

Everyone’s fine, you killed the Sangheili before they could open fire, but now your team has a new member. When Carnival Forever was killed, Chilli wasn’t sent back to the Lucrehulk. Instead he’s now here, standing between Meloka and Tremor. But he looks ready to dish up some revenge, and is clearly stronger than most of the Black Dragons even. And it’s not like you can just, send him back or anything.

“Let’s do this.”
cont
>>
>>4609780
You lead your team around the corner, coming to a wide chamber room with more than a hundred armed soldiers all pointing weapons your way. And that’s when Chilli surprises everyone, conjuring one of his giant crystal walls between you all and them as they open fire. Within a second his wall grows from floor to ceiling, and blocks all the incoming. Which only lasts for a few seconds, as the sounds of energy and crystal-based weapons firing gives way to confused murmuring from the other side of his wall. But your boy isn’t done, with some complicated gestures the images through the wall begin distorting to the point you can’r comprehend what you’re looking at. And then Chilli drops the wall on them, what could be spikes on the outside impaling dozens before the wall crushes them all flat beneath it.

“Nice job kiddo.” you say, ruffling his hair despite your own standing on end. If someone like Babidi somehow gets control of your son, the entire universe is in some deep shit. “Alright. This is it, right Kano?”
“Yeah, ‘at’s the place.” he says, nodding to the ascending stairway. “No doubt, they’ll all be in there cowerin’.”
“Then let us end this.” Freeza says, not a scuff one on his Golden form’s shiny body.

But how will you do this?
>Lead the charge, have everyone go up together and face the Prophets as one
>Instand Transmission everyone directly in behind the furthest-back powerlevel, and go for a surprise attack from behind
>Ascend the stairs alone, and have Meloka ready to either Instant Transmission everyone to you or rush up after you, whichever you call for
>Let Freeza go first, flanked by yourself and Meloka while everyone else remains on standby to show them who’s in charge here

“We’ll go on ahead, just the three of us.” you say to the Black Dragons. “Chilli will say when for you all to head up and in, after we go in. Sound good?”
“If yer wantin’ to just walk on inta the lion’s den, then go ahead mate.” Kano says, sitting doen atop a particularly large chunk of broken crystal. “I’ll be just fine sittin’ ‘ere.”
“Go get ‘em.” Chilli says, to you both and Freeza as well. You turn as Freeza begins ascending the stairs, you waiting a couple steps behind before following. Despite this, your head remains level with his own, as the three Strongest PTO fighters ascend the stairs towards the Covenant’s leaders, the Prophets.

As you ascend near the top you see the room beyond, and it appears just like it did in your vision. The central raised dais, the three towers the Prophets all sit upon, all of it. But instead of the Black Dragons holding Meloka hostage, you see the Stands Mirror Mirror, Za Metaru, and a few dozen Sangheili with weapons trained on you as the three of you enter the room. You can smell the fear hanging about this room, Bane not having dropped his help yet. And as you breathe in their fear, you feel your bloodlust rising. You want to slaughter them all, and bathe in their terror. You reign all that in, as used to suppressing the Berserker form’s urges as you are it takes little effort. But the temptation is there, almost teasingly so, only vanishing as Freeza begins to speak.

“Greetings Truth, Prophets, Stand users, and many of the last remaining Sangheili in the universe.” he starts off, calmly walking directly up onto the dais in the center of the room, addressing every individual enemy in turn. “I have come before you today, with but a single goal in mind. And here I stand, ready to fulfill my word. When we struck our ceasefire, Truth, I had warned you. Do you remember what I said?”
“No not think to lecture me like I’m one of your filthy apes!” Truth shouts, his fear delicious.

“I promised you that, should any of my people die because you broke the truce, I would kill you myself.” Freeza continues, ignoring his outburst. “But for the rest of you, I offer a choice. Kneel before me. Beg me for your lives, and swear your loyalty to me. Or meet the same fate as Truth.”
“That’s preposterous! He’s clearly lyi-gaaaah!” Truth shouts, Freeza casually firing beams from his eyes that one misses completely, but the other pierces Truth’s left shoulder and out the back of his throne in the center. “Don’t listen to his lies!”
“They’re just as truthful as your promises.” Freeza says, golden aura slowly surging up around him. “And not a single one of you will survive this.”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA~!
Of course we're ready! There's nothing these *PATHETIC* worms can do to oppose us, no matter their Stands! Aside from Za Metaru being an annoying, immortal shield, until we choke him out again~! And bathing in the Blood of our enemies is what we do best!
>>
>>4609903
So Truth, 2 Prophets, 2 Stand users and a dozen Sangheli fodder units. We did a better job at clearing through this place than I thought. In fact if I'm not mistaken, there should've been that one mist stand user at the very least... troubling. Ah well, Za Metaru isn't really a threat even against non-stand users, so we can tell Meloka to send him flying to deal with him, and Mirror's Mirror is on one arm so we can adjust to that. That leaves Bane and Frieza to deal with the remaining prophets and or the fodder if they so chose. Assuming for some reason Kano, Chilli and the others become occupied or prevented from entering for some reason, and if not, then they can deal with the entourage.

“Kill him!” Truth shouts, panic in his voice. “Kill him now!”
“Fire, fire!” one of the dumber Sangheili shouts from the left, Freeza moving so fast he seemingly teleports over to him, and pokes the creature’s forehead. Nothing looks like it happened, but you felt the tiny spark of ki he sent into that splitjaws’ head. Which explodes a moment later, destroying it’s dome completely. Which acts like a trigger, the rest of the Sangheili opening fire. Meloka turns into a spinning, spiky ball of death as she charges into them with drawn ki blades, leaving the Stand users for you to handle. Za Metaru and Mirror Mirror both stare you down, one a man in an indestructible suit and the other a much smaller man in a mech suit with a shield that reflects any attack, standing between you and Truth. The other two Prophets haven’t moved, yet you see a Stand by each of them. To your left, the Prophet sitting up there has a ghostly humanoid with straight long, dark hair covering it’s face and features with it’s arms wrapped around his shoulders like Meloka does to you occasionally. The other one’s Stand is tiny, about the size of your closed fist appearing on that Prophet’s head like a golden crown. Yet it doesn’t appear sized for him, the crown just a size or two too big. Meanwhile Truth simply cowers in his throne, fear emanating from him as you stand there defiantly. This is it.

How do you do this?
>You already know how to handle Mirror Mirror and Za Metaru, take them both down immediately
>Instant Transmission behind Truth, then use him as a shield to fire Death Beams at the other Prophets

“You two again? I already spared you once.” you say, walking towards the two defensive Stands. “This time, I’m not sparing either of you.”
“Protect me! Protect your Prophets!” Truth cries out, and you go on the attack. First is Za Metaru, and you simply grab ahold of his neck with your telekinesis. But you don’t simply choke him out, this time you grab hold of his spine. And with an audible crack, you break his spine. Za Metaru drops instantly, armor clanging against the ground as you turn your attention to the one wielding the mirror. His mech suit starts stomping towards you, yet he never gets close. With a contemptuous flick of your wrist and exertion of will, the floor tears itself open beneath the robot. It starts falling in, and that’s when you close rhe hole back up. Metal grinds against metal, trapping the Stand and mech both halfway in the ground.

“Pathetic.” you say, walking around it’s left side while drinking in the user’s terror. It knows that it’s dead, and can’t do anything to escape it’s fate. You calmly walk to the mech’s back, draw your sword, and thrust it down into the suit’s neck. Your gigantic blade pierces down and through the tiny user inside, nearly splitting it in two, then jerk the sword free in a spray of blood and mechanical fluids as you turn towards Truth. “Should have stayed-“

But then your instincts scream danger, you lean back and just narrowly dodge a powerful green energy shot. Turnint towards the source you see the crown-wearing Prophet sitting as if he’d done nothing, but the shot no doubt came from him. So you turn, raise your right hand and fire a Scatter Beam at his face. The Prophet doesn’t move, hell he doesn’t even seem aware of you as your beams all rapidly close the distance. Then to your surprise, your attacks simply go through him like he’s an afterimage.

“What the hell?” you mutter, this time firing a sword-boosted Death Slash. He’s right there, you can sense his ki, yet again your attack doesn’t harm him. As you attack he draws one of their little c-shaped pistols and begins charging one of it’s shots. But as he fires nothing comes out of it, and he then turns and makes his way down from the back of his little pedestal. What the hell’s going on?

And what do you do about it?
>Chase down that Prophet, try and figure out what’s going on

“Dammit.” you mutter, sheathing your sword gathering ki into your left hand. If a precise strike won’t do the trick, then you’ll just have to destroy everything. “HRRYAAAAA!!”

Bellowing you unleash a Scattershot, dozens of tiny shots exploding against the pillar, wall, floor, and all over that side of the room. Quickly you gather your energy into your right, ready to fire another one, but before you do peer closely through the smoke. Whichever way this false Prophet moves is the way the real one went, if his earlier firing a gun is any example to use. So you watch carefully, and to your non-surprise runs towards Truth’s pillar. But you can’t have that.

“HRRAAAAAA!!” you roar, firing your second shot and filling the entire space between the two with explosions and death. But from the speed that Prophet was moving, and how long it took his image to fire after he had, you don’t doubt you missed him. But where did he go? Suddenly your instincts again scream at you, yet as soon as the do you feel it. What feels like the twin points of one of their energy swords pierce into your chest just below the ribs. Looking down you see no one, but know that he’s there. So you leap back, feeling the twin points cut on their way back out as you gather a giant ball of ki in your left hand. “Nice try. But it’s useless!”

And you flip forward, slamming that giant ball of ki down. It explodes right in your face, not strong enough to actually hurt you but you feel it slam into something on it’s way down. As the smoke clears you still see nothing, but the illusion of the Prophet runs up, drawing an energy blade and stabbing at the air before it gets blown to pieces. Then it’s ki vanishes completely, and that’s one Prophet down.

“Patience, nooo!” Truth shouts, his fear continuing to fuel you as he watches his allies cut down before him. Freeza walks up to you casually, glancing at the dead Prophet before returning his attention to Truth. “No, this can’t be! Not like this!”
“This is over.” Freeza says, raising his right hand towards Truth. You feel the Prophet’s fear spike, and then something washes that away.
“I won’t let the likes of you kill me!” he says, drawing a black stone dagger from his sleeve. “I’d rather kill myself!”

And before you or Freeza can act, he stabs himself with it right through his right eye. Truth screams in agony, falling backwards off his pedestal, and as you feel his ki vanish turn to the last Prophet standing.

How will you end this?
>Rush and attack, beat him down
>Rush and attack with Divine Dragon Force
>Scatter Beam, and Scatter Beam again if he somehow survives

Yet as defenseless as he seems, something about his unwavering confidence is leaving you uncertain. And since he hasn’t moved or tried to attack, you doubt it’s an offensive Stand. But best play it safe, and get everyone up here just in case.

“Chilli, bring everyone up.” you tell him telepathically. “One Prophet is down, as are the grunts.”
“Will do.” he answers. “I’ll seal up the path behind is as well, and keep any reinforcements off our back.”
“Good idea.” you reply, your son ending the mental link A few seconds later you hear them all coming up the stairs, while you Meloka and Freeza are all facing down this final Prophet.
“I don’t believe we’ve met.” Freeza says, addressing the lone survivor in the room. “As you no-doubt are aware, I am Lord Freeza: rightful ruler of the universe and leader of the PTO. But I do not believe we have met before.”
“I am the Prophet Unity.” he replies, and slowly, methodically looks between Truth and the other corpses. “And it would seem that I am, for now, in charge of the Covenant.”

“Now that we know where we stand, I believe there is but one thing left to do.” Freeza says, pointing a finger square between his eyes. “Farewell, Unity.”
NOT YET” an unfamiliar, deep voice booms around the room. “YOU HAVE NOT WON YET

The entire room begins shaking, and an overwhelming feeling of dread overcomes you as you see it. From Truth’s corpse comes a hellish glow, and a moment later from his body rises a large, fiery eye.

YOU HAVE NOT BEATEN US. WE ARE NOT DEFEATED” the voice comes, presumably from the eye. And as you watch, all the killed Covenant soldiers and Prophets bodies begin reassembling themselves. Your jaw drops in shock, wondering what the hell is happening. “YOU ARE THE ONES WHO HAVE LOST

As it continues to speak the world around you changes. One moment you all are standing proud, on the cusp of an indisputable victory. And the next it’s a scene out of a nightmare. The Black Dragons’ corpses are scattered around the room, along with the bodies of Freeza, Chilli, and even Meloka laying dead at your feet. You’re the only one left, your ki sense not sensing any of them. Only the Covenant forces remain, Za Metaru and Mirror Mirror both holding your arms tight behind your back and forcing you to stay down on your knees, watching helplessly as Truth walks up slowly with a drawn energy blade.

“Foolish Saiyan. You thought you could come into our home, and defeat us?” Truth asks, raising the sword over his head. “Now, time to die!”

As he swings down, one last fighter enters the fray. Wearing his dark cloak and organic armored creatures, Darth Bane suddenly appears between the two of you. And drawing his blood-red energy sword, his weapon clashes with Truth’s.

“Stand up Karn!” Bane shouts, yet somehow Truth is matching the ancient Sith’s power. “This is not how this battle ends!”
“Wha-Bane?” you ask, shocked at the Sith Lord’s sudden arrival. Where was he when your allies, friends, and family were being ruthlessly killed before you? “How-?”
“Stand up!” he orders, flouring his blade as he cuts both of Truth’s hands free of his body, then kicks the body back towards the center pedestal where Truth is still sitting and looking down on you. Wait, what? “You must fight! Fight for your future, for what you fear to lose! Fight! FIGHT!”

As Bane shouts, a half-dozen Sangheili rushing him down with their own blades drawn, you feel it. This isn’t how this fight ends. You won’t let this be your end! Focusing your near-exhausted ki, you don’t have even the strength to transform. But that doesn’t mean you haven’t stored that power away. And while Bane displays true Djem So mastery, cutting down the Sangheili enforcers with a single blow each, you reach down into the depths of your Soulstone, and unleash it. Power surges into you, strength capable of exterminating entire star systems floods your body and begins transforming you.

“GRRRYAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, unleashing everything you’ve got. All your pain and rage, hopes and fears, you let it all go as your body explodes with power. For several seconds everything goes white, stunning even yourself, and then it’s over. The light fades, and you can again see everything. Emerald lightning dances along your aura as you look down at your hands, your body not as large as your Berserker forms. Yet the back of your head feels heavy, and glancing back to Mirror Mirror see that you’ve transformed once more. But not into a Berserker Saiyan, into your Super Saiyan 3. Bright emerald hair cascades off your head and down your back, the lightning dancing around you crackling as you clench a fist and gaze up at rhe flaming eye above you all. This fight isn’t over, in fact you’re just getting started!

Short of something like GER, Tusk Act IV, or an Over Heaven, Lyin’ Eyes Requiem is a mountain to overcome. And checking Truth beforehand wouldn’t have changed anything, as he did indeed kill himself.

DEAD STANDOS

Stand: False King
User: Prophet of Patience
Ability: Upon activation the Stand transports the user two seconds forward in time, while leaving ‘themself’ behind. In this state, the user can gradually accelerate up to ten seconds ahead of when/where others can see them, while still interacting with the world. Any action you complete will be fufilled by your apparent body later, but the effects happen immediately and so seem from the outside as a sort of reverse cause-and-effect.

Mirror Mirror- This Stand mirror that appears visible to even non-Stand users copies any attack in it’s reflection, and sends it back at the attacker. Or by turning the mirror, can redirect an attack at whoever’s reflection they are firing at instead. Those without reflections are immune to this Stand’s abilities.

Carnival Forever- Forces the user and anyone caught within a ten foot radius into alternate dimension upon activation. In this space the Stand, which is a sentient, immovable merry-go-round has total control within it’s realm and it’s created avatars can do anything conceivable for a cartoon character.
-Carnival Forever Requiem- The Stand’s avatars can now also appear in the real world, within ten feet of the user, and upon contact with one the victim is transported into the Stand’s self-contained universe

From Shadows- Takes the form of the user’s shadow, and can launch attacks that appear as shadows across surfaces into others’ shadows. Damaging someone’s shadow deals equivalent damage to the shadow’s owner, but can be stopped by creative use of their own or other shadows. The user can also fully retreat into his own shadow, and vice versa.

Za Metaru- Permanent Stand, cannot take damage in any form, and blocks all forms of Stand and conventional damage. However the armor is heavy, heavily encumbers the wielder, and also cannot be removed. The user can allow materials to pass through, such as their own bodily fluids, but can only do so consciously.
>>
>>4610666

Not so big since we have Bane holding it down and telling us what's what.
Then there's also the fact that Karn's been in pretty much this exact situation plenty of times before.

And just like all those times, our planning, perseverance, and quick thinking is gonna carry us. It has to.

I'd wager currently we're not in an alternate dimension, we're in an illusion so our best bet is trying to figure out how to get out. Bane is in our mind so the rain he's helping us is because he sees everything as real as well, even though it's not. It's a good thing we called chilli or else Unity would have had free reign to finish us off. I wouldn't be surprised if the illusion did real world damage though so the next step is figuring out how to break it without getting merc'd

Truth is still standing in this dream despite Bane clearly kicking his ass. I'm willing to bet the conditions of whatever Lying Eyes trapped us in revolve around making our efforts seem completely futile, hence why our progress just got made to mean nothing. Now as to why Bane is able to interact with this illusion is anybody's guess.
>There’s always another option, even if it’s one you don’t like.
Not when our friends and family are depending on us. And certainly not now.

I'm willing to bet that Truth/Lying Eyes was unaware of Bane's existence, hence why he was completely ignored in the illusion until he manifested himself in our consciousness.
I'm also willing to bet that Bane is choosing his words extremely carefully to try and convey that this isn't real.
Preying upon somebody's fear and using it to manipulate them is a Sith Lord's bread and butter after all.
He'd see through this in an instant.

>The village would fall apart if Shikamaru decided to stop doing Naruto's work for him
Also Sasuke and Orochimaru should have been executed for all the shit they pulled.

Oh ok. Something else I never watched. Saw one episode, annoying kid copies Super Saiyan surrounded by mirrors, or something like that. And never watched it again.

Why Bane can is, or at least should probably be, somewhat obvious.
Saying there is only one acceptable outcome then is more correct.
Okay.

Well that would be poetic. Doubly so, considering it’s name.

Bane did keep his presence hidden this entire time.

Very true, and especially true for Bane. His raw combat prowess is actually second to his scheming and manipulation.

No shit, orochimaru especially. The man is responsible for 75% of the missing kid reports in konoha. Also people also listen to naruto so they don't look like a dick for bullying the autistic kid.

Fucker didn't even try to train
>>
>>4610895
>Also people also listen to naruto so they don't look like a dick for bullying the autistic kid
I miss when he was ostracized so I could at least feel kinda sympathetic towards him.
>Fucker didn't even try to train
He only ever trains when explicitly necessary. And even then he can brute force just about any technique with what may as well be an infinite amount of Chakra.
>>
>>4610887
Rip the backup crew then I guess. We should probably get imout of this quick, I don't think Kano's crew would be able to actually deal with their illusionary opponents. Frieza, Chilli and Meloka have the benefit of possessing the incredible ferocity of manlets and womanlet to make them fight even harder when they think we're all dead.
Ah right, my bad then, took the image too literal.
Good Bane, glad we kept him

Also I'll knock off the naruro posting now to keep on topic, if we start naming flaws of the show now we'll be at this till next session

Busted jutsu that’s only used once because Kishimoto is a hack.
>>
>>4610884
Abso-fucking-lutely. I said the same thing on Youtube several times before my account and replacement account got banned. Naruto, Ninja Jesus Christ King of Ninja World, maker of his own literal clone army of desk jockeys, can barely run his own village while neglecting his family. And because he can blow up a moon as the strongest devil chibi user, nobody will say shit as his best friend, beaten into submission after almost leveling the continent, is the only one that can fight him, is allowed to walk solely on his whim in spite of being a terrorist that declared war on the Ninja UN. The literal war criminal scientist that got Operation Paper Clip, and not only that, IS ALLOWED NEAR SCHOOL CHILDREN WHILE STILL CONDUCTING HIS EXPERIMENTS IN A GOVERMENT FUNED LAB THAT HE TRIED TO DESTROY! Hinata is a god damn sweetheart, but she is stuck with Narutard, the jackass that barely pays attention in spite of being able to run the government by himself poorly, has to watch as he goes around talking like he was always hot shit even when he was ditched in a shack on the edge of town, lightly flirting with random bitches that want his Jesus jizz.
>>4610887
That's alright if you don't know, I am getting on another row with this shit. Because it gets worse.
>>4610895
HE DIDN'T JUST NOT TRAIN, HE WANTED TO BE HIS TOWN'S NINJA PRESIDENT AND DIDN'T EVEN KNOW BASIC NINJA ELEMENTERY SCHOOL KNOWLEDGE! He did very basic, halfassed strength training, THAT LEE RIGHT NEXT DOOR WAS DOING BETTER THAN HIS DUMBASS, AND WAS A COOL ENOUGH DUDE TO HELP HIM IF HE ASKED HIM OR GUY! Which in hindsight is a great thing, because unlike either of them, NARUTO HAS A REGENERATION FACTOR THAT WOULD LET HIM CHEAT THE 8 GATE SYSTEM AND THEY'RE TRAINING REGIMENT, SO THANK GOD, THE BUNNY EARED BITCH THAT SHE IS, THAT HE IS SO FUCKING LAZY THAT HE DOESN'T TAKE THE ONE THING LEE HAD!
>>4610901
WHICH IS ANOTHER THING, WITHOUT CLIFFARD THE BIG RED DEVIL FOX, NARUTO CAN'T DO SHIT! He never, ever, even with his worthless GED that was handed too him by his personal instructor even though he only learned deskwork, learned how to make a basic, fucking, clone. At his age, he can't do the bare minimum requirement of his high school graduation exam. The useless traffic cone can't do a single god damn thing if it wasn't for his pedigree of inbreeding gods and retarded geniuses, a literal infinite hell battery in his belly, and the best training that money wishes it could buy from generational heroes and the elite of the elite of other nations. Still dumber than a literal child. But even that isn't getting into his retarded upbringing. You know what, I'm pissed and we're done for the night, so I am gonna vent about that since Youtube can't ban and delete my comment here.

>overused Dragon Balls create evil Shadow Dragons that punish the cast for their misuse

Ok I think I got it.
>>4610943
All Might is probably the best character created in the 2010s. That is how you make a Superman, but actually interesting.
>>
>>4611041
>overused Dragon Balls create evil Shadow Dragons that punish the cast for their misuse
That was really stupid, but I liked it for how wasteful they were.
>Tournament of eight different universes’ top ten fighters in a battle royale for their survival
Unoriginal by they're standards, but it was hilarious for fanfic reasons. Like that dude that lurked here for a few years asking about story writing advice. It warms my heart that the Dragonball fans that made fanfiction are at an age to feel embarrassed at they're creations, and want to do better.
>You know, despite how cool the concept sounds, I have a feeling it’s shit.
It was cool, but it became retarded after adding more and more bullshit too until it became a sign of genetic relevance to alien gods that descended upon Ninja world and made ninjas possible.
>All Might is probably the best character created in the 2010s. That is how you make a Superman, but actually interesting.
The show and world is actually interesting, but woke leaches jumped on it at a time when it started becoming popular in the general zeitgeist to drive people off.
>>
Not gonna lie, I’m super excited for this finale. My hype as soon as I dropped rhe lightsaber audio was so high I had to actuallt stop writing for a minute or two. I’ll admit I’ve read a lot less than I’ve watched, but guys like Martian Manhunter were always much more interesting characters in that vein to me. But I like All Might. Rest of the cast is meh to garbage, and quit really following it once he was done.
>>
>>4611133
>SAME!
I'm going to be out for most of the week on an overnight job, but I'll have my laptop this time.
>>
>>4611078
It's pretty crazy to think about everything that's happened up until now. It's almost unbelievable that the culmination of years of weekly questing is so close at hand, the Covenant war has been part of the quest even longer than Towa.
Really, it speaks volumes about you that you've managed to be so consistent for so long.
>>
>>4611105
That's not exactly fair to say. It really depends on which specific Superman the reader is familiar with. And that comes down to which writer is taking the wheel at the time. And whether or not a special run is on. I find more people nowadays who aren't filthy casuals are primarily familiar with the animated TV series before getting into the comics themselves. And frankly I'd consider that a blessing seeing the state of the industry in recent years.

Kinda like the people who argue about characterization in Dragon Ball. Different times and the characters may as well be entirely different people.
>>
>>4611146
>It really depends on which specific Superman the reader is familiar with
You can say that about any character that's jumped from writer to writer for decades.
>Kinda like the people who argue about characterization in Dragon Ball
I feel that. Goku in Super feels completely divorced from how he was portrayed and acted in DB or Z.
May as well be a different character entirely. The same goes for the rest of the supporting cast more or less.
>>
>>4611193
>The same goes for the rest of the supporting cast more or less.
I despise the flanderization of the cast in Super. Seeing Vegetas whole personality devolve into “must surpass Kakarot” was such a shame.
>>
>>4611257
Didn't the mango have him want to make amends for the people he'd wronged by defeating El Cabron?
But I got the impression in Super that he was just getting yanked around by the plot more than worrying about surpassing Kakarott (aside from the classic "I kneel" that started it all).
>>
>>4611143
Good luck.
>>4611144
Not quite, she first appeared in episodes 10/11, when you were fighting bugs with Boros. But they’ve been around a hell of a long time.
And thank you. If you run a quest you’d actually want to play, you’ll always have the motivation to keep it going. And it helps to have given up on irl relationships, there are some wounds even a Healing Pod can’t fix.
>>4611146
>Different times and the characters may as well be entirely different people.
This is true for almost any character though. Just look at how Freeza is portrayed differently between here, DBZ, DBS, the worst Dragonball movie in over ten years, and the Broly movie.
>>4611257
That was one thing GT clearly did better, although Vegeta was much older and had more perspective by then compared to ~6 months after Buu’s death and his first admittance Goku’s better than him.

I think Chilli would disagree. Because Carnival Forever is technically Covenant.
>>4612181
You’ve just gotten a glimpse of what he does to his victims. Ask Kano.
>Chaya
>Caulifla
Not gonna lie, if I’d gone down that route it would have broken me mentally to write that. But now Chilli’s gonna have a lot of work to do before he’s back to somewhat normal after this. Poor boy’s gonna need a whole lot of understanding and support. Just because the physical wounds were magicked away, doesn’t mean the mental damage was.
>>4612185
He’ll need it
>>
>>4612198
Chilli just needs to follow Bane's advice. Take what makes you weak and turn it into something that makes you strong.
The pain of a wound that never heals can give you searing clarity. A desperate power.
>>
>>4612198
Might be a good idea to have a sit down with Chilli after things are settled in high charity. Open up about our brushes with hopelessness and death. Hell it'd give us a chance to give a lil bit of Karn's background from when he was just a young'n running around.

I know my personal worst point of desperation was when I almost drowned in bootcamp. Actually ended up accepting that I was done but was sure as shit surprised when my RDC fished me out of the pool to chew me out. It was so bad that he actually forced everybody outside the pool area before he started. Can't blame him really and I still haven't gotten chewed out as hard to this day.

Well that was disturbing...and I have a feeling Chili is going to have issues with uh.....eating sentient beings from now on....same with other saiyans doing it....he might actually go Vegan lol.

Also that answers what happened to Shadow Shadow. He must have gotten taken into The Carnival too.
>>
>>4612201

>>4612209
Possible.
And oh shit, so you know exactly the feeling I was aiming for.

No. An assassin’s best time to strike is when their prey is distracted. Like Hit going for Jiren just before he could ring out Goku.
>>4612220
He’s gonna have a lot of issues.
From Shadows was stalking you all, and got sucked in too.
>>
>>4612229
Good thing he doesn't have Bane then. So since its over and done with, regarding the whole beg for mercy vote prior would it have been like a significant power boost at the cost of going darker? And what's going on with those on the LucreHulk, are they seeing the current unfolding of our situation, or are they also trapped in some illusion?

>>
>>4612608
>>4612660
Depending on what Unity's Stand does I very well might just agree to keep him alive so Meloka and Chilli can deal with him in a prolonged manner. I wouldn't want Karn involved in that tho, not because he couldnt' do it, but because Karn lacks that edge of insantiy/deep and burning hatred, that allows you to EFFECTIVELY break a living being over a slow and prolonged Period. Karn would probably just restrain his power low enough he could take his time beating the worm to death, and thats far too quick.
>>
>>4612793
No. Unity didn’t do this. Let’s not turn into the complete monsters we’ve seen on the other side. The one that did that was Carnival Forever, and the one who turned him loose was Truth. If we wanted absolute revenge boner fantasies, they’re the targets we should’ve attempted those on.

>>
>>4613222
Darth Karnage, clearly.
>>
>>4613194
Without spoilers as to our own stand, can you explain the difference between a regular stand and a divine stand?
>>
>>4613216
Unless you visit hell, or he somehow breaks out, it’s not likely you’ll fight him ever again in your timeline.
>>4613222
Thanks. And I don’t want to spoil too much, but no.
>>4613227
A divine stand is imbued with divine ki, the energy of creation. Generally only divine beings can have a divine Stand, but there are exceptions.
>>
>>4613233
So, GD, does that mean that if Caulifla eventually became a SSG, her Triumph would also evolve into a Divine Stand?
>>
>>4613233
You know, despite having a divine stand it never clicked for me that gods could have stands. Now I know and I'm not sure if I'm happy I do.
How's Kars been doing? And what are the chances we get to pay Being X a visit?
>>
>>4613268
No, as she isn’t a divine being. Her Stand was discovered while she was mortal. And although Kars had divine ki when he copied Jotaro to make Za Warudo, he didn’t ‘naturally’(as much as that word means when referencing Kars) obtain one. He merely copied Jotaro. >>4613278
So can other universes, where they may or may not be more common.
He’s developing rapidly.
Not likely. He’s not one to be visited, but pays others a visit. Speaking of which, during this time of peace Dreadzone is going to have to really try to capture the same surge of interest the wars did. Things may be changing over at Dreadzone sometime soon.
>>
>>4613226
Yeah, it would be Darth Karnage for sure.
The fruit hangs far too low.
>>
>>4613294
Please tell me that Vox had the good sense to capture a Xenomorph Queen alive so he can breed the things en masse.
Much as I hate dealing with Xenomorphs, they're ratings gold.
>>
>>4613294
All Vox needs to do is introduce a silent, surprisingly simple yet somehow scary killer to the arena. And naturally he will kill things in ways that utilize various random tools and the environment.

Oh yeah and he'll be immortal, of course.

That'll pull views for years before people start to realize it's not cool anymore. And considering that most of Vox's viewers seem to be of the low-IQ variety they may not ever realize it.
>>
>>4613305
No. At least not a living one. However...
>>4613311
Ironically, Chaya’s continuous domination will lead to Dreadzone’s stagnation. But Vox can’t simply kill her off, or even reasonably put a stop to her reign. That splitjaw Sero ‘Trasum was the closest she’d come to losing since beating Ace Hardlight and becoming champion, when she was 11. More than four years ago now.
>>
>>4613328
Why not just make a retirement ceremony or idk, introduce some flair by hosting a crossover event with anther galactic fighter arena. Honestly stepping down from the spotlight for a bit would be good, end it before stagnate occurs and let her leave on the never defeated high note and maybe she'll return when she's older to rough up the new champ some

So what's going on with all the stand users we left behind? They high tailing it about now, or will they be there when we wrap up with Unity?

The problem is convincing Chaya. She’s enjoying the spotlight, and riding the wave of her popularity and fandom. And as the years keep going on, being champion will almost certainly become a central part of her identity.
They stayed the fuck in the barracks, because the survivors don’t want to die. They were in charge of keeping the Black Dragons in check, they didn’t sign up to go toe-to-toe with The Dragon of New Salda.
>>4613340
Ha.
>>4613346
That depends on the answer to one important question: why?
>>4613363
Let’s just say, that in those timelines where Karn embraces the edge a Universal survival tournament doesn’t happen.
>>
>>4613374
Because the poor bastard needs some love and affection, and that camp needs at least one graduation troupe, even if they are his own.
>>
>>4613374
Karn embraces the edge and it shoots up our universes power level so high that we don't need to participate?

Or xeno just erases darth karns universe and doesn't want a tournament?
>>
>>4613374
Man SKoT is such a killjoy, but at least we know mecha wasn't lying to us when he said the dark force was a pathway to getting near the top tier. What cycle are we regarding the dark souls timeline? Are we already nearing the Lord of Cinders, or is even that age long past? Or far away to come?
>>
>>4613386
Ha
>>4613409
Remember, it takes a specific set of circumstances to bring a universe survival tournament about, instead of Zeno simply erasing 8/12 universes.
>>4613453
Huh? I said nothing about her here.
That’s a much better question. But to know when your own time sits, in the grand scheme, you’d first need to know the fate and whereabouts of the First Flame. Is it burning bright, and the world of the Kais flourishing? Fading fast, and the undead once more walking the realm? Has it been usurped, or snuffed out entirely? It’s hard to say, until and unless you find it.
>>
>>4613374
>Ha.
You laugh, but I think Doctor Freeman would be one of the deadliest people to ever step into the ring.
On paper, you look at his stats and he'd get destroyed by even the easiest challenges in the Dreadzone.
In practice however, the guy's a fucking legend and would probably be able to take down the Covenant if he was so inclined to.
My going theory is that he has some kind of underdog power that only makes him more dangerous as the odds are stacked against him. It's the same kinda thing that would apply to somebody like Duke Nukem or Pre-Divinity Doomslayer.
>>
>>4613798
>Is it burning bright, and the world of the Kais flourishing?
It may look nice, but the overall lack of new Kaioshin being born over the eons would suggest that there's something missing.
>Fading fast, and the undead once more walking the realm?
There's certainly a rather sizable influx of undead in this timeline at the moment, or at least that's what I can infer based on past events and Jergal's comments on the matter. Though I'm pretty sure that those afflicted by the Darksign are few and far between right now.
>Has it been usurped, or snuffed out entirely?
Aku wouldn't have needed our assistance way back when if the first flame had gave way to darkness already. Even as a singular shard or Manus, I'd imagine the absence of the first flame would have emboldened him to an insane degree.
>>
>>4613233
Would doing the god ritual quintuple Dragon Force's divine ki,/spark or just our own? Would our quintupling have an effect?
>>4613358
Also he's a minor
>>
>>4613800
A lot of underdogs are powerful, but just because they win in their own universe doesn’t mean they’re unstoppable here. Just look at Guts.
>>4613803
Emboldened enough to be blatant about his place in the universe, and showing his power?
>>4613820
Doesn’t affect Stands like that. The user transforming doesn’t also transform a Stand, except in special circumstances.
>>
>>4613869
So what are the options for Chilli's eye going forward?
If it came down to it, he could get by with just the one. But he is our son, and I'm pretty sure we have options available to help him bounce back from being maimed.
Off the top of my head, I can only think of cybernetics (as demonstrated by Mecha Frieza in canon)
Also if we asked Kano about his cybernetic eye, would he be willing to recommend us a doctor for this sort of thing?
>>
>>4613958
Let’s shove the soulstone into his eye socket
>>
>>4613970
That's something Goku would suggest if Gohan got his shit pushed in.
Speaking of, Chilli's actually at the exact same age as Gohan when he fought Cell.
It's funny how the timing worked out like that.
>>
What are king cold and cooler up to during this covenant war?
How has raven and our dad been?
Is SKOT still keeping an eye on our timeline like a hawk?

What does punished Karn think of us? Assuming that our towa has talked about us?
>>
>>4613958
Didn’t that heal from the Estus? At least Karn said that he now has the hard eyes of a man. Unless that was GD fucking up.
>>
>>4613958
That Divine Blessing healed him, even fixing his broken spine and missing eye. It just didn’t fix the mental damage.
>>4613970
1/10, would not advise.
>>4613972
I was hoping someone would make that connection. And although Chilli isn’t nearly as directly powerful as Super Saiyan 2 Gohan, he would probably not lose that fight. Unlike the son of Goku, Chilli is(after what happened to him) going to be ruthless in a fight.
>>4613977
Cooler’s been fighting on a different front, pushing their forces back while King Cold is off hunting.
Better now that things have calmed down
She’s still watching, but not as closely. She is at war, after all.
And, well, about that...
>>4614000
It’s not estus, as estus only heals Undead.
>>
>>4614005
Hunting for Babidi I presume?
How's the Jostar gang been? Jotaro's gonna be safe to deal with Kira after the training we put him through, right?
>>
>>4614005
What exactly are divine blessings in SCQ canon? A special application of god ki? Magic? Soul power nonsense? A tool of the power of creation?
>>
>>4614020
More than likely.
Jotaro went back to school to become a marine biologist, and Joseph went back to running his company. Dealing with Morioh is still years away for them.
>>4614128
A good question. Unfortunately there is really no way for you to know IC, save for Caulifla asking around and finding out. However, they do all stem from one being. How she makes them, though, is still a mystery. Some say it’s her tears, shed for the wounded. Some say magic, and still others say, well other bodily fluids. But unless Caulifla finds the source, it may remain unknown forever.
>>
>>4614140
>Future Caulifla is the source, and they're the tears of Divine Triumph
The flow of time itself is convoluted indeed...
>>
>>4614143
I support this theory
>>4614140
Do other Darth Holocrons exist, such as for Nihilus or Palpatine?
Are Arctus and the rest trapped in a nightmare state or are they completely fine and unaffected by the requiem'd stand?
>>
>>4614005
>That Divine Blessing healed him, even fixing his broken spine and missing eye
Goddamn. We should try and get another one for Tatsu or King Cold if they're that OP.
>And although Chilli isn’t nearly as directly powerful as Super Saiyan 2 Gohan
Gohan had the benefit of being naturally more powerful on top of training exclusively with adults who didn't hold back against him. Different circumstances entirely.
>he would probably not lose that fight
True. Chilli's experience and variety of magical attacks kinda make him hyper lethal now.
>Unlike the son of Goku, Chilli is(after what happened to him) going to be ruthless in a fight.
I maintain that Gohan had that same killer instinct when he went Super Saiyan 2 for the first time, he just had trouble tapping into it on command given how he was raised.
>>
>>4614143
Ha. But for that to be true, time would have to be very convoluted indeed.
>>4614155
Several dozens have been made over the years. Now whether you can find them or not is a different story
>>
>>4614214
It won’t revert old scars. But they are extremely powerful.
And a half-breed, that gets stronger faster than pureblooded Saiyans.
He would be a far tougher opponent for Teen Gohan than even Perfect Cell, simply due to his unorthodox attacks. Every move Cell knows, Gohan’s basically already seen it thanks to his trainings with Goku and Piccolo.
Very true, but he lost that after Goku’s sacrifice snapped him out of it. Yet even with it, Chilli spars with his sister and Broly, so he’s just as if not more used to fighting stronger/faster opponents as Gohan.
>>
>>4614242
Ya know, this gives me a good idea.
We should have Chilli train with us regularly.
Sparring with us would probably help with his overall physical strength as well as sharpen his already pretty decent battle sense.
On the flip side, we get more experience dealing with an unorthodox opponent and develop strategies against magical attacks as well.
I also want to keep an eye on him for now and try and get him to open up about what he went through in a safe environment.
>>
>>4614257
The Karnage Dojo(tm) is the safest place for our kids.
>>
>>4614257
For a spoiler tag to work, you can’t close the opening tag. Anyways:
Would be a good idea. He already proved before, back in Towa’s realm when he cut your arm off, that he’s a dangerous opponent. And he probably won’t open up to you first regardless, it takes a lot for him to go to you with his problems.
>>4614274
It’s the safest place for anyone just about. Unless they’re weak and want to stay that way.
>>
>>4614278
>It’s the safest place for anyone just about. Unless they’re weak and want to stay that way.
Funny way of saying assisted suicide.
>>
>>4614274
Whatever the case, after we put an end to this, I want to acknowledge what happened to Chilli and help him get past it. God knows what that kind of trauma can do to grown men, much less a young boy who's on the cusp of puberty.
Our availability during his youth was what it was, but I still feel awful about making him feel like that. Recent events are really just the icing on that shit cake for me personally.
>>
>>4614285
Ha.
>>4614292
He’s gonna hold this inside for awhile. But when he needs you, he’s really gonna need you there for him. Luckily for him, after this war’s over, Karn isn’t going to be conquering much of anything for awhile.

QM UPDATE

Opening post for episode 149 is finished, the final battle is almost upon us! I’m so hyped, this battle has been in the works for well over an irl year for me. And now we’re finally here.
>>
>>4615623
Bring forward the grand finale.
>>
>>4615623
Glad to be at the end then, here's hoping we make it one to remember
>>
>>4615624
More than a hundred episodes have been leading to this battle, Karn’s toughest challenge yet. Through mind control, overwhelming odds, and everything else, here you stand at the pinnacle.
>>4615668
Don’t misinterpret me, this isn’t The End. But this is the end of an era, the final end of this war. And if you win, then we can move forward into new and exciting territory!
>>
>>4615687
Oh yes, the Arc that is usually time skipped. Except we get to do shit in it.
>>
>>4615688
Oh I’m super excited for it, there’s so much you can choose to get involved in. Or ignore everyone and focus solely on swole. Also there’s going to be another entire arc told there from Chaya’s pov, near-exclusively through the epilogues. Small hint how that’s going to go:

Song's nice though.
As for loose threads, let me ask a few questions.
What happened to that amateur Sith we face a while back on New Salda?
Are the contents of the Puzzle Box even beneficial to Karn specifically anymore?
What the fuck is the DarkLurker actually?
Is it possible to fuse Bane and The Guardian's holocrons together?
If we continue on the path of the Dark Side of the Force, will it start to change our appearance like it does for most Sith Lords?
Are Tatsu and Tomi finally starting to get along with the other kids?
Is Tatsu Sr. making preparations for the inevitable?
Are there any surviving recordings of Camali's matches that we can watch?
Would it be possible to make a Limiter similar to what the original canon Broly wore? Or what about something like Boros' armor?
When this conflict is finally over, will we be able to integrate the surviving Covenant races into the PTO?
Are those space suits from way back during the first Siege of New Salda out of the prototype phase?
>>
>>4615735
that reads like the longest episode outro ever lmao
>NEXT TIME ON SAIYAN CONQUEROR QUEST
>>
>>4615746
>[sick guitar riff]
>>
>>4615735
I already said before that RWBY doesn’t exist outside the OST, which are all Chaya’s songs. Listen to the lyrics.
He escaped.
Not really to Karn. But it was never really yours to begin with, you kinda took it.
That which Lurks. In the Dark.
No.
Depends on how deep you go.
Yes. And no. Depends on which ones.
>implying he hasn’t been ready for years
Saiyan’s aren’t known to live lives long as his.
Possibly
And yes, although not by Karn or the PTO. That’s more of a Vox specialty. And it wasn’t a power suppressor, that was a MIND suppressor. Kept OG Broly pacified.
The Kig Yar have already been trading with both sides. Because they’re merchants by nature and it’s what they do.
Not especially. Other, deemed ‘more important’ projects have been pushed to the forefront. Like their weapons, and the stealth tech.
>>4615746
>>4615749
Ha
>>
>>4615772
Discounting Meloka, who is Karn's biggest fan?
>>
>>4615772
>the box isn't beneficial to Karn in particular
Doesn't even deter me a little bit, if Chilli wasn't just traumatized I'm at the point that I'd assign doing a seance to interrogate the ghost of its creator as homework to him. Actually, I wonder if just bringing a ghost up to talk with it would conflict with his anti-undead reaper duties. Anyways, it sounds like we're at the point that maybe we should leave it with the saiyan scientists, maybe keeping it fresh in their minds will lead to them figuring something out.
>>
>>4615811
Well Chilli is technically a ghost cop, so I imagine it's like bringing up a ex con or crackhead for info.
>>
>>4615810
That’s a pretty good toss up. Both Freeza and Vegeta are top contenders
>>4615811
Summoning a ghost temporarily for some questions isn’t against his patron, in fact some of Jergal’s priests may even become undead themselves, to continue their servitude until their bodies fall to dust. But it’s a special privilege, and not for those without significant merit for the honor. Also, summoning a specific being who’s passed on, especially one who has embraced their fate completely instead of resisting like canon Freeza, may prove completely unwilling to return to the mortal realm.
>>4615822
Kinda, but no. That’s more of King Yemma’s domain, claiming and processing the souls of the dead to decide their fates
>>
>>4615834
>Both Freeza and Vegeta are top contenders
Alright but who owns all of our limited edition albums?
You can't claim to be a fan if you don't have "Karn Sings the Classics" in your media collection.
>>
>>4615834
>>4615842
>Karn walks into Frieza's room. "Hey Frieza, have you seen-"
>Frieza launches a death beam at his TV screen, breaking it so that Karn doesn't see what he was watching
>>
>>4615834
Hmmm... interesting. Anyways, I also like the idea of testing our Wish ability on opening the box, or divining the method of unlocking it. But that's looking a bit too far forward, first we have to finish putting the Covenant down.
SOON
>>
>>4615847
Ya know, we could just give it to Chilli. I'm sure he'd enjoy something to figure out in his free time.
>>
>>4615842
Ha, still a great piece. Speaking of which, both Gutsbro and Robo have pieces in the works. Excited for some quality Melokas.
>>4615845
HA!
>>4615847
Once you’ve figured out how to, and then defeated Lyin’ Eyes Requiem, you’ll have plenty of time to experiment with your abilities.
>>4615849
It may or may not be for him either. Important question, do you remember the riddle?
>>
>>4615872
i don't remember the riddle
>>
>>4615872
I don't remember it exactly but the riddle stated it was either it would open when we need it(we being the Saiyan race presumably) or it would be the our savior in our time of need
>>
>>4615879
It took me a bit to find it, but here's the thread where we get the box.
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/3631073/
It's about halfway through the thread.
>>
>>4615912
Nice find anon. Man, that was a good thread, remember when we used to use Bane for recon? Good times, good times. How's the assistant we scarred for life doing GD? Also ironically enough sounds like the best time to have the box around was now, at least before Bane intervened, funnily enough.
>>
>>4615879
It’s kinda important for opening it.
>>4615906
A good summation.
>>4615912
And anon with the save
>>4615924
She’s here on the ship, helping Daiko with keeping the Lucrehulk up and running along with more than a dozen of his helpers. And, well, you could have the box here
>>
>>4615930
>That spoiler
Do you mean we carried it with us?
Cause if not I think I get this Stand's trick.

Is it a matter of belief, perhaps absolute faith? The 100% total belief that something will happen or is happening, such as Truth's belief that he would win or at the very least we would not win? Bane as a master of will had the belief that he could protect his students maybe? Or maybe that is just him summoning himself and unrelated.
>>
>>4615935
No, you left it on the Lucrehulk. But you do have DDF, who is a literal wish-granting Stand. If you think it’s worth it, you could get the box.
Or maybe it is like this, and what you perceive as truth is. But I can’t say, can’t spoil the final boss’s abilities pre-battle. That’s like reading a game’s guidebook cover to cover before even downloading it
>>
>>4615912
why not just quote the riddle anon
>>
>>4615966
Quote the riddle? Okay

What have I got in my pocket?

>>
>>4615966
didn't feel like choosing where to begin and end the quote, so I just linked it for full context
>>
>>4615966
"Inside this is my own final prototype, for when your heart is broken and all hope is lost. When you need what is inside, and not simply want it, then and only then will this device open. You know what you must do.”

Here you go anon
>>
>>4615971
>What have I got in my pocket?
Space.
Give me a hard one next time.
>>
>>4616046
Oooh that'll cost ya, the correct answer was a ring.
>>
>>4616078
And lint.
>>
>>4615930
Would it be possible to commission another ship from Arctus after the war is over? Something roughly the size of our old ship.
It's not a bad luxury to have by any means.
>>
>>4615971
10/10 reference, ya filthy hobbittssess.
>>4616188
He’ll be making ships, that’s for sure. But since the Lucrehulk isn’t a top secret project anymore, he’ll be able to bring in specialized help. And he knows just the Tekkadan to do it, and of course the king of wolves with them to test the limits of his new creations.

QM UPDATE

The final battle of the Great War is upon us! Episode 149 begins in 24 hours!

So small talk how exactly does magic work here?
>>
>>4616580
You mean in general or how it interacts with Ki, Stands, The Force and such?
>>
>>4616595
In general, since OG Dragonball didn't really explain how it works or what makes it different than Ki.

But I am now curious about the latter as well.
>>
>>4616597
Well it basically functions on its own energy source with more variety in effects in can accomplish. Ki is better for quick direct destruction for the output required, universally effective given the right set up to even effect Stands, and is, generally, more directly effective in niche abilities the Force provides, if more unreliable in results. Anything more specific and you need to ask GD>>4616301
He's been stroking to the thought of finishing this Arc almost as hard as we stroke the triggers on our computer trebuchets.
>>
>>4616597
I think you're best off looking at Chilli's pastebin personally, but from what I can tell we're operating mostly under dark soul rules with a splash of canon system in which anomalies that don't quite fit in like Babidi's mind control act as just spells. The elements tend to have themes where light= time, authority(?), divinity
Darkness which in DS lore is its opposite is therefore able to allow time down and removes its influence to the point where one could undo events.
Then there's crystals which probably(totally) have something living in them that may or may not be Seath or some other entity.

In general magic seems to take precedence when it comes between ki and itself, sacrificing raw power for more variety and flexibility.

The Force is weird I don't get that yet, but it's probably its own thing that distances itself from the normal magic.

Stands aren't magic exactly but psychic manifestations that operate on a certain frequency so they don't interact with other psychic abilities, but magic seems more flexible and can bypass this wall that obscures them and even affect them, though I doubt the magic users could replicate them through magic alone.
Now just wait for GD to tell you I'm wrong about 70% of this and you'll understand.
>>
>>4616597
Sith sorcery is exactly what it sounds like
>>
>>4616580
>how exactly does magic work here?
Pic related.
>>4616597
In simplest terms: ki is physical power, magic is soul power.
>>4616606
Ki doesn’t affect Stands any more than punching one would. Ki is your physical, internal power made external.
HA
>>4616609
In og Dragonball, magic was never really explained, even through Super with the rise of the goatman. So from what you know magic is more specifically elemental, at a base level. Similar in basic structure to something like Black Clover, without a caster being limited to a single element. Like ki, wielders of magic have a limited supply of fuel to use in powering their spells. Call it mana, MP, essence, magic, whatever. It is tied more to the user’s soul, and their will to change the world. But understanding how using such forces work requires intense discipline and rigorous work, even from the gifted. Unless their power is gifted by another, but that’s a whole other thing not relevant to this quest. YET.
The Force is an entity all it’s own, permeating throughout reality. Ot touches all living beings, although most cannot feel it’s touch. Some seek to bring about it’s will, while others seek to take it’s power for their own and shape the world into how they see fit. Whereas magic and ki are internal energies, the Force is an external power. You can’t “run out”, unless it’s somehow specifically blocked from a location.
Meanwhile Stands are a psychic manifestation of will, of the wielder’s own fighting spirit. They’re mostly unaffected by the others above, barring specific Stands and/or abilities, situations, etc.
>>4616630
Now that’s an entire OTHER branch of power. And Karn unfortunately isn’t blessed with that particular gift
>>
>>4616716
>Ki doesn’t affect Stands any more than punching one would. Ki is your physical, internal power made external.
I know, it wasn't worded right.
>HA
I am waiting with the slave army to block out your crop growing sunlight.
>>
>>4616716
So the MP, that's the same pool DDF draws from yeah? Alright, I'll have to hope ours is big and its just the technical skill that stalls Karn.
Speaking of DDF, just to try and picture how it works would any of the below be possible?

Wishing for Babidi's extensive knowledge( not skill, or even replicability) on magic?
Wishing to be compatible with Sith Sorcery
Wishing to know Babidi's location and thoughts at all time
Wishing for a high level healing factor
Wishing to know the locations of the other Stand Arrows
And finally
Wishing that DDF had its previous powers as well
>>
>>4616765
No DDF apparently uses our soul directly, so that's Ki it's tapping.
>>
>>4616771
Not Ki either. Direct soul energy, due to its ability as a stand. Basically, one can think of Mana as ‘mental energy’, Ki as ‘physical energy’, and what DDF uses up as ‘soul energy’. Which I assume would have effects similar to having parts of your soul sucked out by a Dark creature, rather than just exhaustion.
>>
>>4616782
Well until we actually try using the ability, and test the effects of such, we won't really know anything beyond our hypotheticals. Even our upper limit is hard to gauge because it either kills us outright to do, or have no effect whatsoever and go into a coma.
>>
>>4616782
>Which I assume would have effects similar to having parts of your soul sucked out by a Dark creature, rather than just exhaustion.
I mean we have sex with Towa and that turns out wonderful

More serious, idk that seems still different from what GD meant to imply with his essence magic and stuff but I guess I just need him to yay or nay this. Regardless I really do want to figure out what DDF can really do.
>>
>>4616802
She has to empty our balls first, and we have a religiously thirsty yandere worshiping a baseball bat and soft balls tire out emptying them, a silly beta neet like Towa barely suckled on Karn's soul.
>>
>>4616731
Not gonna happen.
>>4616765
What? No. Anon, what part of:
>Meanwhile Stands are a psychic manifestation of will, of the wielder’s own fighting spirit. They’re mostly unaffected by the others above, barring specific
did you miss? I expressly stated a Stand is different from everything else.
As for what it can do, I’m not just going to give you that. Especially since I’ve made it a point that you’re gonna have to figure out it’s limits.
>>4616782
Close. Think of it more as subtraction. Your soul is 10, and wishes you survive are 1-9. What’s 10-10?
>>4616793
Very true. I’d recommend starting small. Unless the perfect opportunity arises.
>>4616802
Ha, but no. She’s not Dark, she’s a demon. Totally different.
Think of each power source as having it’s own gauge, except Force runs off your others due to it being tied to your mental and physical control.
>>
>>4616900
>Not gonna happen.
Like my piece on how an ass wupping does not require consent only an ass, so too does burying your land in gifted computers not require consent. Only grid coordinates.
>>
>>4616900
>Ha, but no. She’s not Dark, she’s a demon. Totally different.
By Dark Souls logic she is horny fire milf's daughter in some connection. And is a hotbed for making life, given how between her worship of her man, porn physics spells, and natural endowments, she has a LOT of seeds that need sowing.
