=About Contracting. =
The Devils we hold in our retinue are available to talk on fresh faced sacrifices but Public Safety demands you contract with one. And one only. Their terms are written, and to make full use of their abilities is typically an arm and a leg. Devils are powerful allies in a fight against Devils, and the occasional Demon.

There will be situations where you may temporarily contract a devil on the field, it is a necessary gray zone that is only allowable during an active war zone. However at the conclusion of any battle, all surplus contracts will be divested to the Cage where we will hold on to it for the next contractor.

To contract a Devil the use of threats and leverage is important. It's also possible to trap them with words, or through a mutual exchange. Some Devils also cannot resist making bets even if its in direct defiance of their promises. But if we're being real here, violence and the threat of death or capture are tools that never fail.

=About Hit Rolls and Damage=
Combat is messy , and so are fire fights with infernals and their thralls. When attacking a target, roll 2d6 against their evasion.

Cover and Accuracy penalties: Those behind cover reroll your confirmed hits a second time
by rerolling the second dice. Any further penalties are rolled as well.

Aim: Accuracy bonus aiming your shots allows a "polished" roll. Where a third d6 is rolled. The highest combination is then taken into account.

Crits: Rolling double 6 increases your damage by 100% before DR is taken into account, a triple six is instant death for your victim. There's no need to wonder what rolling snake eyes does since it will never hit in the first place.

Other Terminologies.

Sentry Mode: When attacking a target isn't a viable, Sentry is the next best option. With Sentry mode, all available firing ranges become danger zones for the enemy, provided it is not blocked by friendlies, obstacles or an entrenched enemy. Sentry mode will target any and all enemies that ENTER into marked tiles and stop their move if they hit. The same will apply to you, so watch out which "Chess" piece they're sporting.

Snitch is already quite certain that the women we seek are there confirm their safety, or put their souls to rest. Your two priorities are thus.

For this operation Ishmael will be your Operation Lead. There are a lot of unknowns in this situation but acting any less sooner would be disastrous for the lives involved. They have already been missing for over 24 hours and I will be the first to admit that we are skirting at the edge of red tape to even make this possible. The breach has been scouted. You will enter the facility via the underground garage level. However as luck would have it, it's gone unused for sometime. The networking there is still functional but it's a closed circuit. No doubt the place will have sentries if this big cargo will be moving tonight.

I'm sure you're new to hacking such old tech but look no further but the writing on the walls- literally. It seems the information age gets analogue from time to time in the era before built in networks.

=About MEM and Hacking=
MEM is effectively the processing power of our brain. It didn't take long for corporations to figure out the Operating system for a human in their attempts to control Devils with AI scripts. But enough about that, MEM is your effective mental faculties [and I daresay our souls], nowadays people only need to plug into any c-plug on the wall and the relevant services will do their bidding. However, that was all built on top of the old stuff, and the old stuff has data wires going back as far as before the New Era calendar.

To force a node in your control you simply need to breach it, and copy parts of your MEM onto the mainframe via wire or infrared scanner, overwriting a majority of the Q-sprites there. Ideally, you're able to force a cleansweep, allowing you to gain control of the node as well as any additional Q in there it causes a bit of soul dampening but it all resets back to normal once you force eject from the system, no soul trapping here like the days of yore. But watch out, if hostile actors "Invade" your node you're as good as compromised and the right Daemons, and Software could have you pulling the gun your teammates or yourself in the best of cases.

I legitimately wished to just get a fresh map. To try again without having to throw more corpses at something before I'd be able to act again. As I had 2 acts left after I issued the retreat before my contract forced Sleep.
