As we walk to the university, we find that there's a line of food carts lined up outside the entrance.

Looking around, it looks like there's mostly hot but dry treats. Meat-on-a-stick, hot bread and the like. No drinks of any kind.

Oh, we got stopped at the entrance. Can't go in while eating. I guess it sounds reasonable enough so let's enjoy these here first.

Let's go straight to the dorms. Through her collar, we can probably... oh, it says Lyann is at our parent's house. Right, her equipment doesn't gets copied when she makes a clone so we can only tell where the 'original' is.

It uses less space, and the [ERROR]s seem to sense magic. The probe isn't invisible or anything, but there's a chance they won't even see it, and if they do, we get to test the new forcefield.

Well, it does use magic, though, but by then that's moot since they already saw it.

We smooch each of them, and thanks everyone for their work, then head over to the dormitories.

Well, we can't go into the girls dorms, so they're waiting for us in the lobby. Lazard was waiting outside.

"Oh, your highness, you and the young lord, it has been a while." - says the elven knight
"Sir Lazard, you appear in good health. " - Aritsu smiles happily at her childhood friend

We exchange greetings, and he goes to signal our arrival.

Sinoe and Lyann come greet us. Yup, Sinoe looks just like Aritsu, but is she perhaps a mm smaller?

Well, Aritsu's stats are out of common sense now, so maybe that's why she feels bigger somehow?

Still, it is nice to see them hold hands and greet each other happily.

Lyann curtsies and waits quietly. Right, she's acting as our slave and messenger right now.

Indeed, Sinoe and Lazard confirm that they're ready to go with us, and are quite thankful for our assistance.

I think that we should have Eldric fight alongside Sinoe and Lezard. They're going to become our in-laws, so having some fun adventuring memories will be good to have.

Like, I could see Sinoe and Lazard's ascension to the throne be put in jeopardy if they were found to have levels in Slave Class-only Jobs.
Since their country has rules like "the monarchs must live above the Council Chambers for 10 years and cannot leave the premises", I wouldn't be surprised if they have rules concerning the qualifications of Royals.

Remember that sometimes there are trap options, like:
1. using a Cleaning spell on ancient books
2. using a Status Cure spell on a pregnant woman
3. temporarily dying to unlock a Job would have killed Lyann

So the safest option is

That being said, remember people can't see subclasses and jobs other than the main job, plus you can turn classes and jobs on/off so they can just turn it off afterward but sure, we should indeed ask them.

While enjoying a snack in the 'safe room' area we releported to (which already seems somewhat strange to our friends), we explain to them about the concepts of power leveling, exp farming, and [Scion], as well as the fact that while they can only see our first job and class, we actually have plenty more at the same time...

Lazard looks about to jump when we suggest to the princess that she should become a slave, then relaxes when we finish the phrase with "to your sister".

Well, he seems like a very serious and honest guy. Let's hope he does well as a king. Kind of need to be somewhat of an ass to be a god politician, I think.

With that out of the way, we hand Aritsu a couple of old slave collars (they're actually Lyann's and her own old slave collars) to place on Lazard and her sister Sinoe, which changes their class to [lvl 1 Slave].

"Alright, now we need to quickly level you up to a hundred, so we're not stopping for anything less valuable than [Runic] quality, alright? We're just going to run down and kill whatever until we find a good farming spot, then stay there."

Our friends nod, and we head out. They'll be near the middle in case we get ambushed from the back, unlikely as they may be.

The [Beast Dungeon] has plenty of large cats, some reptiles, and what looks like some kind of wildebeest, though it would be more accurate to call them saber tooths, megalania and giant sloths, which are a lot more dangerous than they sound.

The exp is 'good' but not 'great' so we continue to rush down...

"T-this is insane!" - whimpers the elven princess as we keep mowing down groups of massive monster beasts
"Your slave level got to 43, It should start slowing down soon unless we find a good spawner, I think." - Lyann observes
"What is that? A spawner." - Lazard
"Typically a boss that summons hordes of minions and throws them at you." - replies Aritsu

That makes our friends quite nervous but well, they'll get used to it soon.

After picking up a [Runic][Tooth Saber] sword for Lazard, we finally find a spawner boss.

Its an immense salamander with bright white and blue skin, sending its offspring towards us.

"Alright, we're staying here for a while!" We declare with some satisfaction

With all our leveling up tricks, it should be a little under an hour before our friends unlock [Scion] and then we can start raising their base jobs with the increased stat bonuses.

It looks computer-generated, because some of the strands of hair go underneath the metal bits. It looks like whoever made it just pasted the metal jewelry on top of the model's face.
I'd say that if it was real, the metal is likely attached via some kind of superglue.

The young elf foes so, and moves to the back so he can check the class properly.

Hmm... we've never found a gender exclusive class yet. Despite having 'roughly' the same levels, they don't have exactly the same levels, of course. Plus he's been a knight for years.

Lyann tries re-applying a [Speed] buff on our group.

"How is that?" - she asks after singing the buff unto the party
"No, it has no effect."
"Well. if buffs aren't working, debuffs probably won't work either. In this slave's humble opinion, it would be useful to fight a medusa or a gorgon."

"Is there a damage increase?" - asks Aritsu
"I do not think so... oh, I do have double crit chance!"
"I wonder if that's worth not being able to use ranged attacks or skills... Eldric, what do you think?"

If it gets a 100% crit chance, AND the gear is specced towards "effect-on-critical-hit", then it might be worth it.

But it's still a specialized Job that needs to be part of a group. Equipping an [Elven Berserker] with equipment that heals the wielder on a critical hit might make him into a self-healing tank.
But it'd be really tough if the enemy is a high evasion-type.

Surprising no one, the boss is immune to debuffs.

"Is it, though? I mean, it's already an amphibian." - comments Aritsu
"Hmm..."

Killing the boss breaks the exp chain, but creates a safe zone. By the way, its drop was a pair of [Runic][Boots of the Zephyr] which increases Magic Defense by +100, and while it would be a great item for anyone else, +100 for us is not even a drop in the bucket. We really can only use +% items, or come out losing when changing any piece of our gear now.

Well, we try handing Lazard a [Mythic][Brutal Axe], which has a 25% base crit chance on top of a very high damage (but just 3 slots), and sure enough, it gets to 50%. Getting him a couple of [Fine][Sharpshooter Gloves] give him +15% extra crit chance, which translates to +30%, and yes his total crit chance made it to 80%.

A pair of [Fine][Nighthunter Googles] raises his crit by another +15% which leaves his crit chance at 110%...

"Is there any meaning at having higher than 100%?" - asks the elf knight
"This slave would like to mention that [Blindness] lowers it by 50% but you'd be immune to it anyway, so ... probably not. But if you already got to 100%, why not let you know how high it goes, anyway?"

"Do we have 'on-crit' gear?" - asks Aritsu
"Not really... we never really focused on it. Or rather, we do, but nothing we could call, in Master's words, 'a build'."

The [Slave] inventory is amazingly spacious, isn't it? Beyond item slots, we can't store things of that size in ours.

"I have to concur. Even if it feels strange for elves to have [Berserker] as a job at all." - Aritsu sits next to her sister
"Is it? I think a controlled berserker is a good thing." - comments Dawn. - "With the right gear."

We look at our friends' stat screens. They have 80 on most basic jobs, 30 on secondary jobs and 11 on tertiary jobs.

Well, on the plus side they don't have a religion of peace with holy war against the infidels as a commandment so that's already a plus. To be accurate, they worship their ancestors and the woodland spirits, so they have no expectations of other people worshipping the same things they do.

It wouldn't make sense for you to worship someone else's ancestors, after all. Or the spirits of a land you don't live in, so they are very tolerant, religion-wise.

Lyann was having a rough time making her mistress happy. Oh, she understood what she wanted, but what she wanted was Eldric, and that wasn't something Lyann could do anything about. If the object of their mutual love wanted to spend time with this girl or that girl, the redhead wasn't about to drag him by the war into Ren's bed, after all.

We ask them to breed one of their pets and thus give one to Stella, then have Sinoe and Lyann trade so we can breed that one later (to equip Mako or Ren).

Mielweds, can I ask you for help with my microphone? I can't figure out how to set it up. Apparently it 'works' but its so insensitive I have to scream to be heard at all and I can't find a mic sensitivity option anywhere, All I see is something about disconnecting my mic

Yeah apparently the mic is plugged in the right spot but the sensitivity is suuuuuper low and I have no idea how to raise it.

In the Bluetooth and other Devices window that you're on, go down to the bottom and "Related settings" to find "Sound settings".
In "Sound settings", there should be a section for "Input", and your Microphone should be listed there.
Click on "Device properties", and you can increase the Volume, up to 100.

I think there's something definitively wrong with my mic. It really really pisses me off since I need to bother friends to drive me to the mall to return/change this thing, and its a brand new mic I bought to try and record for youtube so it was more expensive than I would like to admit. Being almost blind really really sucks.

Do you have the microphone the correct distance from you?
Just because a mic is expensive, doesn't mean it's sensitive. Most have to reduce their sensitivity so that they don't pick up the speaker's breathing.
