A plethora of results come forth, all of heavily questionable credibility. "The Downtown Vampire", "Wolves of the Countryside," "Haunted Spots of Trivia Valley," "Woodland Lights," and many more. Websites and blogs fluctuate between easily explainable, utterly crackpot, and downright retarded frequently

On the school front, the three of you find a timeline on the school website from founding to the present, but it seems very bare bones on top of probably being sanitized of unsightly things. A couple other websites touch briefly on strange occurrences in Carraway HS, but nothing very concrete. Rumors of a mysterious haunting, a disappearance or two, strange staff, the usual suspects. Very little information to be found about the former principal though. A post on some grass crocheting forum mentions cabins and woods, but that's the strangest things get.

Your friend turns and snickers at you
Lorelei: "What are you two doing?"
Jubilee: "I'm afraid he has become corrupted by infernal taint. He made a pact with hell, and now he's going even deeper."
Ace: "I have evolved... into an Italian's worst nightmare!"
Lorelei: "Jeez, you're a dork!"
The three of you share a laugh and a slice
Lorelei: "Hey Ace... How come you always wear those horns anyways? Like, even before we met?"

Your expression starts to droop for a moment, but a quick deep breath and a big grin brings your energy back
Ace: "But they make everything more fun! And they're probably super cursed and cool! And they double as guitar picks!"
Lorelei: "You play guitar?"
Ace: "Well, psh, not right now or anything, buuut I can probably play awesomely!"
Your partner-in-investigation chuckles into her hand before giving you a warm smile. The succubus meanwhile points a lazy finger towards the laptop, clearing her throat to get your attention
Jubilee: "Should not you two little detectives get to detecting on some of these oddities? Disappearances, odd folk, strange going ons in the woods?"

It takes some searching, but you eventually stumble upon an old facebook group for the CHS Class of 1985 Reunion. Oh god, it's all people who are too old to be allowed on the internet. The searing yellow of minion memes threatens to burn your eyes from your very skull. You shudder and try to hold back the bile rising in your throat as you go through the page. You're doing this for the mystery... You're doing this for the mystery...

Through waves of conversations that rot your mind, people accidentally trying to google search through facebook, and some of the most awful jokes your mind can barely begin comprehend, you find a short string of messages talking about the old principal and the mysterious basement lockdown! Apparently, sometime during the four years these alumni were at your school, Principal Carraway disappeared and the basement was locked up. Judging by what Mr. Botten said, you can assume that some years after, when a later principal came along, the basement was reopened and it led to the second incident involving the janitors.
One lady, who admitted to stalking the principal before he disappeared, says that she discovered that he lived somewhere out in the northern, more wooded area of Trivia Valley. She followed a footpath marked by little red stones to a cabin where she assumed he lived. She was promptly removed from the group for creeping everyone out before she could say more.

Lorelei: "So... both times people disappeared in the basement. It's probably a good idea to do a thorough sweep of the hideout next time we go in there."
Jubilee: "And see there, more information on your strange former principal. A possible lair of shadows~"

A: "Well he was distant, cool, and something about him was just... um, interesting. He didn't seem to care much about anything, like his mind was always on something else. Oh, and he would always carry around a little book with him in his suit jacket. I'd see him writing in it sometimes when I, um, ran into him."

Q: "Did anyone else in school seem strange - in an unsettling way?"
A: "Oh, I remember that whenever I had to go to one of the main offices the staff were just really strange people I wanted to talk to for as little as possible. Well, I kind of thought that about everybody back then..."

Q: "Do you remember any rumors that circulated around the school?"
A: "Rumors? It was a pretty long time ago, but I remember the dungeon incident clear as day. Plenty of rumors sprung up from that. The principal up and disappears, then the basement gets locked down a few days after. It really isn't too hard to guess they were related. How they were related though, nobody was exactly sure of that."

Q: "What was the dungeon (the basement) like during your days at school?"
A: "It was just a storage space as far as I know. Things like extra desks, extra cleaning supplies, things like that were kept down there."

Q: "Where is the principal's footpath located?"
A: "The footpath? Haha whaaat? I don't know of any footpath in the woods due north of the family-owned hardware store on the upper side of town over there haha. Unrelated question, why did you contact me of all people about this stuff?"

Going back to the box to get one of the final slices of pizza, Lorelei looks out the window and perks in surprise
Lorelei: "Oh jeez, it's getting kind of late. I should probably start heading home soon. Let's meet up at the hideout tomorrow after school and get investigating."
She gives a thumbs up to you and Jubilee after packing up her laptop and slinging her bag over her shoulder

You and Lorelei initiate a totally awesome SECRET MYSTERY HANDSHAKE! It works out... poorly
Lorelei: "Uh... We should probably come up with a handshake first before we try to do one. Tomorrow for sure. See you, Ace. See you, Jubilee."
After a wave goodbye, the demon and you head for your super mysterious room and get to some reading! After first considering wether or not to instantly delete your new facebook profile, you decide to set the plan to the side for a while. You take the books from your bag, lay them out on the bed, and start reading a couple!

You find that "Manlets: A Cautionary Tale" is some kind of story set in a fictional world where one tall person is sent into a dimension where everybody is five foot and below. It's reminiscent of Gulliver's Travels. Starring Jack Black.
Meanwhile, "The Bibble" reads like some Chinese bootleg version of the Holy Bible. Many passages don't even make sense, and the ones that do are just bad fanfiction. It goes... way too in depth when it gets to Lot and his daughters. Eugh.

Jubilee floats around your room, looking, poking, and generally messing with whatever catches her eye.
Jubilee: "The day comes to a close. May I be off for the night then? As fun as it is watching you read, I would like to get to enjoy my side of our bargain. I can't become your powerful infernal ally if I spend all my time in the mortal world."

With a snap of her fingers, little flames begin to dance around her. Before she can go, however, you ask her one last question
Ace: "Hey, wait! Um, if Hell sucks so bad, then why do you keep going back?"
She smiles again. Her predatory grin seems almost warm towards you.
Jubilee: "All demons crave power of some kind. After all, it only "sucks" if you're not at the top. And with your help, we'll be there soon enough!"
With that, she disappears from your world.

Once again, you find yourself in your room after a long day of investigating.

After a few grueling minutes of dreaded homework, you flip through "How I Got a Goth GF." Going in expecting a surefire how-to guide, you've got to say that you're thoroughly disappointed. This isn't a guide at all! It's more like a memoir about some guy that did a bunch of crazy things for a goth gf that was given to them by the government. This story isn't even real! Ugh, if only real life were as easy as sending an application through a tube. Then again, maybe you're not supposed to know exactly how to win over a goth girl. You have to figure it out like a mystery! A mystery of the heart!
Your eyelids start to droop as the fatigue of the day catches up to you. Your last thoughts before you lull off to dreamland are of a big tiddy goth gf
