/qst/ - Quests

Were you to travel the stars, across this vast universe, no doubt tales of a mighty warrior race would reach your ears. Many speak of the Saiyans with awe and wonder, marveling at their power and aspiring to become like them. Others speak in hushed tones, of the fear and despair in facing the warrior race in battle. But one thing all agree on, is that standing against the might of the Saiyan race would spells certain doom. Many have tried, several going as far as to invade the Saiyan’s homeworld of New Salda. Yet every invasion has failed, defeated by the Saiyans and their most powerful warriors: the golden-haired Super Saiyans, and the green-haired legend who leads them. But once more they march, leaving their home behind and advancing into the heart of their enemy’s territory. Which side will triumph, and who will perish?

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, the story of an alternate timeline in the greater Dragonball world. Currently it is Age 749 and you the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the radiant symbol of Saiyan might. Now as a PTO general with a powerlevel of 24,819,000 and close friend and confidant of Lord Freeza himself, Karn has become one of the strongest beings in the entire universe.

Quest rules are as follows:
>20 minute voting windows, pick ONE option when voting(unless otherwise noted)
>Dice rolls are all best of three, only correctly rolled dice pools will count
>Crits are 100 on a d100(a 99 or paired rolls may net you an extra bonus)
>Crit fails count -only- if no roll passes the DC, or if two different 1s are rolled which will OVERRIDE even a critical success, resulting in a catastrophic crit failure
>Write-ins are both allowed and encouraged.
That said, they can and will be shut down if too out of character/metagamey. With over 120 episodes behind us, Karn now has a well-established character

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After returning to the Lucrehulk, Karn discovered that during the other battle Bardock had unlocked the power of a Primal Saiyan for the first time, then learned from Vegeta of a Covenant fleet massing. After three weeks of training the Lucrehulk arrived, where after peering through time and losing track of how long he was doing it Karn came face-to-face with the Stand, Double Vision. Despite copying his abilities, Karn dispatched both Stand and user with an Instant Transmission Final Flash then met with Freeza and Arctus where he learned Arctus too can use Foresight to peer into the future. After some advice from Freeza’s cousin Karn returned to Meloka, and named their unborn son Karn Jr. before he headed out with his students and the Ginyu Force for Ealen IV. Quickly destroying the enemy fleet protecting it with Instant Transmissions and Super Explosive Waves, Karn then teleported to the furthest base from the landing site to attack the enemy there. And as we rejoin Karn, you’re right in the thick of the action.

“Fire, fire!” a panicked Sangheili’s voice calls. “Shoot him! Kill him!”
“Is this all you’ve got?” you taunt, Barrier deflecting all the energy-based projectiles away from you with ease. Too afraid to enter the barracks where you slaughtered a score of Sangheili without taking a scratch, the enemy are instead firing at you from the open doorway.
“Keep him pinned down!” the same scared voice calls out. “I’ll call it to handle him, just don’t let him escape!”
“Oh really?” you mutter, sheathing your ancient blade and raising your right hand to your forehead. Of the dozen or so ki right outside the room, you feel only one trying to run. So with a surge of intent you teleport, vanishing from the barracks to just in front of the coward. The Sangheili, looking back at his men shooting doesn’t see you appear, bouncing off your chest and falling back to the ground.

“Who dare-eep!” he says, at first indignant someone ran into him, but upon seeing you his entire demeanor changes to absolutely terrified. “HELP!!”
“There’s no helping you now.” you reply, and before he can react you kick his head clean off. It explodes in a shower of bone and gore, spraying the backs of those who’d been shooting at you. The soldiers turn, trying to train their weapons on you but it’s no use. Before the first one can fire a shot you’ve already closed the distance, and grabbing the closest two by the head they don’t even have time to scream before you slam their skulls into each other. The bodies fall limply to the ground as their skulls are shattered, you dispatching the remaining dozen or so soldiers in equally brutal and gory fashion. To make sure they’re dead, and not simply pretending.

With the small assault force, more of a welcoming party, dealt with, now you have to move on. But something that one coward said sticks out to you. Whatever “it” is, it seems these Covenant bastards have gone ahead and prepared some sort of surprise for you. You ponder a moment, deciding on your next course of action.

What will you do?
>Finish clearing out this fortification, handle this base first before moving on
>Focus your ki sense, and find the strongest Covenant beings remaining
>Summon Divine Dragon Force, see what threats it can sense, if any
>Telepathically reach out to your students and Captain Ginyu, see how the battlefield is looking outside

With the many options before you, you decide to not finish clearing this base but instead begin decapitating their forces. And the best way to do that is to hunt down their most powerful soldiers, eliminating them before they can join the main battle against the Ginyu Force and your students. So in the middle of this blood-soaked room you calm your mind, right hand going to your forehead as you sigh out. Focusing, you expand your ki sense and search the planet. First you feel are your Oozaru and Super Saiyan disciples, who’s energy are running wild. Then you sense the Ginyu Force’s members carving their way through the battlefield while Burter and Jeice are still firing down upon the enemy. But taking your focus away from the battlefield, you begin searching for the closer energies from the nearby fortresses.

There are maybe two hundred or so beings left inside this base you’re in, but none are even close to the lesser Sangheili you’d just fought with, much less stronger. So you ignore those here, and reach out to the others. ln four of the other bases are a score or so Sangheili warriors, judging from their powerlevels, but nothing really noteworthy. Then, reaching out towards the last one, you feel it. A half-dozen rapidly growing powerlevels suddenly appear, each one easily in the tens of millions. Target selected, you bring your right hand to your forehead, and with a surge of will vanish. One moment you’re inside a gore-splattered hallway amidst the corpses of the Covenant you’d slaughtered, and the next you’re standing inside a large, cubic room. But as soon as you appear an alarm sounds, several heavy doors all slamming shut together. Instantly you realize what’s going on, leaping back as two of the other Mgalekgolo fire the large arm cannons at you. Narrowly dodging the blasts you land and take your stance, studying the six of your enemies. Or rather, the six of them as more and more of the worms crawl up off the floor and merge into the six armored forms. Their powers rising, each of the six armored forms unleash their weird, vibrating bellow as they all turn to face you.

“A trap, huh?” you mutter, taking your fighting stance. It’s not a bad plan, at least for the Covenant. But if they really think a half dozen of these worm monsters are enough to stop you, they’re in for a surprise. In your current form, they all measure around your own powerlevel. This should be easy.

How will you do this?
>Rush in and attack, head-on assault
>Defend, see what they’ve planned
>Keep on the evasive, focus more on not getting hit than dealing damage
>Keep your distance and use your ranged attacks to cut them down
>Sword and hammer, dual wield assault

“Just the six of you then?” you ask, clenching your fists then with a roar unleash your power. Emerald energy radiates from you as your strength surges, transforming into your Ascended Saiyan state. Bolts of viridian lightning dance along your aura, sparking with your every movement as you draw your weapons. In your right you wield the ancient greatsword of the wolf knight, a man who’d faced and actually defeated Aku in another timeline. In your left you wield a Gravity Hammer owned by a former Jiralhanae chieftan, the father of your now-ally and leader of the Jiralhanae survivors Tiveus. Armed and ready you take a single step forward, then unleash hell.

“HRRAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, exploding off the ground at the furthest enemy. Dashing between the others you spin clockwise once, then slam the Gravity Hammer square into the creature’s heavy shield. Despite it trying to withstand the attack and block it, your powerful blow combined with the weapon’s own shockwave launches it clean off it’s feet. With nothing to slow it down, the combined worm creature is tossed into the far wall where the impact leaves it imbedded in the dented metal. Lowering your weapon you glance back over your right shoulder to the others, and ask. “Who’s next?”

As one the wormlike beings all unleash their odd roars, three raising their cannons as the other two simply charge forward, shields up to protect them. You backflip up and over the two charging hulks, twisting midair and landing on the ground facing the three charging their cannons. Yet as soon as you land they all fire, three beams of emerald energy blasting right at you.

“Barri-“ you begin, trying to conjure your shield when out of nowhere a powerful blast strikes you square in the back. The surprise hit knocks you off-balance, distracting you for just long enough. Before you recover the other three attacks hit you in the front, scorching your arms and knocking you flat on your back. “Tch! Lucky hit!”

Before any of them can take advantage of your predicament you flip back up to your feet, crouched down with weapons held out to your sides. Taking a few quick breaths you realize you’re already getting winded, your body already starting to feel tired. Perhaps you need to get back into hard training, and work on your stamina?

But in the meantime, what now?
>Keep up the pressure, focus them down one at a time
>Defense, don’t take another hit while finding your openings to exploit
>Sheath the weapons and switch to ranged fighting, go for lethal, efficient attacks
>Super Explosive Wave, try and eliminate them all at once

Noooooo.
What if they pumped Destron Gas into this qube. No way Karn would be tired after this short exertion.
Or they simply and silently are pumping out the Oxygene from here.
There may be something suspicious going on down here in this cube. Maybe those fighters are just a distraction, to keep our attention from what is really prepared in this cube.

No, wait. This isn’t right. You shouldn’t be this tired from just this. You haven’t even worked up a sweat, yet already you feel yourself struggling for breath. But as you breathe in again, you taste something different in the air. Whatever it is, it can’t be good. You’d better clear this out, and quick!

“Trying to poison me, huh?” you ask, standing tall and sheathing your weapons then crossing your arms. “So shameless. HAAAAAAAAAA!!!”

Roaring you unleash your power, it exploding out from you in all directions. Your energy shreds the unarmored portions of your enemies first, their armor shielding them for several seconds until that too is consumed by the blinding light. You burn a whole lot of power, ending the attack only once every last trace of the six worm monsters are completely erased. Easing off the attack the world once more comes into focus, allowing you to examine your handiwork. The room’s floor has been reduced to a giant crater, you floating above the center of the hole dug into what appears to be some sort of stone. The walls are bent and mangled, warped beyond repair by your abrupt release of power. Yet the ceiling above you seemingly remains untouched, having controlled the blast’s radius tight so you didn’t accidentally destroy the planet. But as you gaze upon the ceiling you notice the four air vents, or rather one in particular. Silvery, almost unnoticeable smoke is pouring from that vent, spreading and dispersing invisibly into the rest of the room. So that’s the cause.

“Your turn.” you say, pulling back a hand and quickly gathering an Energy Javelin. You’ll end it now. “HAAAA!”

Your attack flies straight into the vent, piercing through the grate then after a second exploding deeper within. The blast tears open the ceiling around the vent, scraps raining down from the damaged area. But the mist keeps coming, your attack not stopping whatever’s causing it.

“Foolish Saiyan.” a tiny, higher-pitched voice comes over the room’s speakers, which are surprisingly still intact. “You can reject having your glorious death in battle like your kind want, but you’ll die all the same. Go, Nicotine Bomb! Unleash your full power!”

Well, this can’t be good. This has all the makings of a Stand user all-right. But, where IS he?

Well?
>Transform back down, try and fly through the smoky vent to find the source
>Instant Transmission from ki to ki, try and find this user through process of elimination fast as possible
>Take several moments to study this smoke, see if it collects more in the floor or the ceiling, and what other information you may discover about it before making your move

Whatever the hell it’s spraying into the air, it can’t be good. So you cross your arms overhead and leap skyward, smashing straight through the ceiling. But you don’t stop there, charging through floor after floor in rapid succession until you fully break out through the base and into the fresh air. Free of whatever poison you were breathing in you exhale every ounce of air you can. But before you can take a full breath in, your instincts suddenly warn you that you’re in danger. But the response is slow, only alerting you the instant before several anti-aircraft guns all shoot you.

“DAMMIT!!” you shout, as several powerful, explosive energy shots slam into you from beneath you. Each one hits slightly after the next, the blasts sending you even higher into the air amid a cloud of smoke. Growling you sweep your left arm from right to left, waving the smoke away to reveal the enemy down below. “Alright, you bastards. You’re first!”

Focusing your energy in both hands, you toss down a Scattershot with your right hand, then quickly toss another with your left. Your first Scattershot explodes against an energy barrier, the shield protecting the base from your attack. But as the second Scattershot hits, you see the shield begin flickering. A few more, and it’ll be done! Swiftly gathering your power again you toss another pair of Scattershots down, and this time they find their marks. The shield goes fully down, several of your blasts striking and destroying the base’s four large mounted cannons. But they weren’t all you hit, your attacks causing damage to the exterior of the base and even peeling away the armor fully in several spots. But you’ll deal with that later.

“Alright, focus.” you mutter, again breathing fully out. The out breath takes almost a full minute, you making sure to empty your lungs as best you can before then breathing in. As you breathe in deeply you feel whatever you’d breathed in earlier in your throat, nearly sending you into a coughing fit. But you fight it down, taking in a deep, full breath of life-giving air. You repeat this process several times, it taking you a few minutes to find the proper rhythm. But after about five minutes total you succeed, opening your eyes on the exhale to see your body wreathed in a faint golden aura. After another two breaths you feel your breathing becoming even easier.

However, despite this success, your body isn’t recovering as fast as it should. It feels almost as if whatever you breathed in down there is still inside, weakening you. Breathing in this manner helps, but unfortunately cannot fix whatever that bastard did to you. Which leaves only one question:

Since your Hamon breathing didn’t clear out whatever was in the air down there, you decide it’s too risky to simply go back down into it. And from what he said, you can imply it wasn’t the speaker’s Stand’s full power. So instead of mindlessly diving back down into it, you make the call to not leave this particular base standing. There are five others after all. So decided, you fly up even higher, arms by your sides as you begin gathering your power.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=5s9xI_D7qhU

“HRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, throwing your arms wide and channeling your energy into a pair of powerful balls. With one held out to each side, the masses of energy swiftly grow larger than yourself, each one filled to the brim with power. But you’re not done yet, in fact this is just getting started! With a surge of intent you slam both balls of volatile ki together before you, much like for a Final Flash. The two seperate energies clash, threatening to explode but your will is stronger. Pressing them together tighter and tighter, you compress this energy together until your palms are a mere foot apart, the super-dense ball of ki threatening to break free at any moment. But you’ve done it, your energies melded together into an unstoppable attack.

“Karn, what the hell are you doing?” Captain Ginyu asks you telepathically. “You’ll destroy the entire planet with an attack like that!”
“Don’t worry, I won’t let it destroy the planet.” you reply, hefting the energy ball overhead and allowing it to grow back out more freely. The ball swiftly expands, becoming larger than your second ship in only a few moments. “But there’s a Stand user down there, poisoning the very air itself. I’ve got to take it out now, before that shit spreads.”
“If you’re sure...” he replies, you feeling his uncertainty through the link. But you can’t hold this attack much longer, it’s gonna blow!

“HRRRRYAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, hurling the massive Event Horizon downward. The colossal energy bomb drops straight down at the fortress, you seeing the base’s shield spring back up for a moment before your attack drops down. And, unfortunately for them, their base’s shield wasn’t anywhere near powerful enough to stop you. It struggles to repel your blast for a second or two, but then fails as the attack explodes. Your Event Horizon detonates in a massive blast, the entire structure above ground vanishing in a flash of light.

After the blast ends, where an enemy fortress once stood is now a cloud of smoke and ash. After a half-minute or so the cloud begins thinning out, allowing you to see the results of your attack. The large Covenant fortress is now gone, replaced with a massive, still-smoking crater. You slowly drop down out of the air, approaching the ruins as you extend your ki senses. At first you can’t sense anything, your own Ascended powerlevel and the powers of your allies masking the far-weaker signals. But after several seconds you pick out a few remaining ki signatures, three life forms inside the fortress somehow survived. Floating down, you focus on the strongest signal, raising your right hand and pointing at it.

“One.” you say, firing a swift Death Beam. Your attack pierces through the rubble, piercing directly into that power. A second or two after your beam ends, that energy signature vanishes completely. Then you turn your hand to the second one, again gathering your ki for a beam. But before you can fire, you see the rubble shift, revealing a Kig Yar accompanied by a humanoid, mechanical-seeming figure wreathed in silvery smoke. Lowering your finger, you address the Stand user. “There you are. Not so tough now, without your traps, huh?”

“You...Damn...Saiyan...” the Kig-Yar says, clutching at a twisted piece of metal that pierced through it’s right shoulder. It seems to be causing the Stand user quite a lot of pain, who’s bleeding quite a bit from the injury. “You must die!”

What do you do?
>Rush and attack, end him now

“It’s already over.” you reply, conjuring your Stand Divine Dragon Force around your right arm. This stuns the Kig-Yar, who takes an uncertain, wobbly step back. “Watch that Stand for me, would you? I’ll handle the user.”
“Understood.” your Stand says, unblinking gaze focused squarely on the enemy Stand Nicotine Bomb. With your right hand up you turn your focus entirely on the Kig-Yar, or more specifically, the metal bar that’s protruding through it’s right shoulder.

“I won’t let you!” he says, but before he can give an order you reach out with your telekinesis. Grabbing firmly onto the bar with your mind you pull, tearing the metal bar straight through his body. “GYAAAH! SHIT!!”
“It’s over.” you reply, spinning the bar around a hundred eighty degrees and launching it back at the Covenant soldier. Before he can react, the metal rod slams right into his face, piercing straight through his skull between the eyes. His smoke-cloaked Stand wavers, then vanishes completely as the user’s ki vanishes entirely. The Kig-Yar’s lifeless body flops to the ground, bleeding into the ground below. Sighing out you thank your Stand, it nodding as you banish it. That done, and this fortification a still-smoking crater, you have several options.

But what will you do n-

Suddenly your instincts scream at you in warning, you diving to your right into a roll that brings you back to your feet, seeing a beam of energy piercing where you were standing. Following the beam back to the source as it fades, you see another Kig-Yar laying atop the rubble, having braced his Beam Rifle to try and assassinate you. He tries to turn his aim on you again, but before he can you’ve already raised your right hand. And witj an effort of will you fire, another Death Beam blasting from your fingertip and straight through his eye peering through the sight. The attack kills the Kig-Yar instantly, the would-be assassin slumping down lifelessly. That done, the last enemy living inside this former base has been eliminated.

So what do you do now?

Before moving on, you decide to check in with those fighting the initial enemy force. So, first up is Captain Ginyu of course.

“Captain Ginyu, it’s Karn.” you think out. “One base is down, and the user eliminated. How’re things going on your end?”
“These enemies aren’t much to speak of.” he replies. “Despite there being a whole lot of them, they seem to be little more than a wild mob. No sense of greater strategy or a plan of winning this battle. In fact, they almost seem like-“
“A distraction, yes. They were to keep everyone else busy while catching me inside their trap.” you reply. “Unfortunately for them, their trap was unsuccessful. And I destroyed them all.”
“Hrmm, I see.” Captain Ginyu replies. “If there aren’t any more big threats inside those bases there, why not come back to the big fight? There’s plenty of cannon fodder to go around.”

“Haha, I just might.” you reply, ending the link with Ginyu then reaching out to your first of this batch of students, Lattu. “Hey, Lattu. How’s the battle going on your end?”
“We’re holding out well enough.” she replies to you. “Michi and Espina both took pretty bad shots to the guts, and poor Gamja stepped on a landmine. But Morka got the worst of it, his arm was sliced almost in two. They’ve all successfully been sent back towards the ship, and thankfully nobody was shot down.”
“I see.” you reply. “Everyone else doing well?”
“Oh yeah, everyone who went Oozaru is stomping the hell outta these guys!” she thinks to you. “They just keep charging forward, no matter how many of them we squish. It’s like they got a death wish or somethin’.”

“I see.” you reply, thinking hard. If the whole goal was to take you down with Nicotine Bomb’s ability, now that it’s dead why would they still keep up the attack? Maybe they simply don’t know? Or maybe....Oh. Oh no. “Get ahold of those pods, right now!”
“Karn, what’s wrong?” she asks, you ending the link and switching your scouter’s channel to the setting for your team’s pods.
“This is Karn. Someone, answer me!” you shout into your scouter. “Answer me dammit!”
“Karn? The hell’re you yelling in my ear for?” Morka asks groggily. “Hey, wait. Didn’t we destroy that fleet on the way in?”

*KABOOM*

The line goes dead, nothing but static coming through.

“Morka? MORKA!!” you shout, desperately trying to reach him or anyone out there again. “Michi? Espina?! Gamja?! Someone answer me, dammit!”

But as you get nothing but static, your frustration grows until you have to lash out. Slamming your fist into the ground hard enough to leave a massive crater beneath you, you roar out in pure outrage.

“YOU BASTARDS WILL PAY FOR THIS!!”

Fuck, I knew that using IT explosive wave every battle was gonna bite us in the ass, it's why I mentioned it, but I thought we'd have a bit more time before they'd set up counter measures. They're no longer just trying to take Karn out, they're actively working to take down hero units. I were to hazard a guess, they hope to eventually make it so that we lose too many super saiyan defenders for the artificial moons, which is also where our army's main infantry power resides. Don't suppose the science team has developed any new weaponry or something GD?

>And that’s it for tonight, everyone enjoying the ride?
Very much yes.
>Ready to get your revenge, and protect your people?
Yes.
Good thing that Karn managed to win with this poisonous Stand and the user.
Another dirty trick from Covenant, but Karn got through it anyway. Nice.
>>4395558
>“Karn? The hell’re you yelling in my ear for?” Morka asks groggily. “Hey, wait. Didn’t we destroy that fleet on the way in?”
>*KABOOM*
So similar tactic again.

Like before with Lekgolo fighters and real threat that was the poison spreading through the air in a locked up cube.
>To keep our attention focused on something that supposedly matters when the real attack is coming from elsewhere.

With Karn, Ginyu Force and other strong warriors on the planet they might try to use this situation.
>The Covenant ships in space will target them from space.
>Attempting to nuke them from afar.
>They won't care if this will kill off all of their own Covenant soldiers battling on the planet surface.
>Those soldiers are not there to win the battle, they are just there to keep Frieza Force (also known as Planet Trade Organization) fighters busy in one place.
>That one place will be soon rained down with nukes and other weapons of mass destruction.

This is most likely not end of their plan.
They might also try to think that now when Karn and other strong fighters is down on the planet surface, they can get the Lucrehulk undefended.
>Of course the ship has lot of defenses.
>Not to mention powerful warriors on board like for example Meloka, Freeza and Arctus.
So I guess the attack on Lucrehulk is probably not going to very much.

Yes and no.
>Forces on the planet are a distraction from the new enemy Covenant fleet attacking our troops on the planet from space, as well as the Lucrehulk itself.
>But the forces attacking the Lucrehulk in space are once more another distraction.
This moment of divided attention may be when they will try to sneak in another wrecker, saboteur or assassin.

This will be the best time to allow that San'Shyuum who has the Death's Door Stand show up on Lucrehulk again.
>He will bring in saboteur with himself.
>It will be once more most likely the Stand user.
What could be the possible targets of the enemy agent?
Freeza or Arctus:
>Both are very hard to kill just because they are from Freeza's race.
>Even more they trained themselves to very high power levels.
>Unlikely that they will be the targets.
>>
File: Meloka.jpg (484 KB, 599x1198)
484 KB

Meloka:
> powerful fighter, but is unable to fight at her 100% now, because she does not want to risk hurting her baby.
>Covenant probably knows she can't see enemy Stand's so they may to attack her with this when she is alone.
>Perhaps they might even just focus on killing her's and Karn's unborn child.
Reason for this is that maybe they may imagine, that if Meloka or Karn Jr or both are dead, then Karn's warrior spirit will be broken, and won't be able to fight anymore.
>If that would happen it would backfire.
>Karn would become more angry and determined to wipe out all of the Covenant from the universe than ever before.
>So angry it's hard to imagine.
Meloka is still a difficult target, even when she needs to hold back.

It think most probable objective is that the saboteur will attempt to target the Lucrehulk itself from the inside.
>I'm not sure how exactly he/she will try to do it.
>But it is quite possibly that he will want to cause the detonation of ship's reactor.
>Or perhaps damage some other vital element of the ship so that Lucrehulk will be destroyed or at least useless for a long time before being repaired.
I hope that the sensors that Arctus installed on the ship will manage to detect the unwanted guest we are most likely going to have.

I was also thinking.
Why that San'Shyuum with Death's Door Stand did not just open it and rolled in through it with a shopping cart that has massive bomb in inside.
>Get in the Lucrehulk.
>Leave it.
>Bomb's timer has been set on 20 seconds.
>That's all the time you have to react.
>Ship most likely would be blown up before anyone would notice something happened.

Or why not just open Death's Door everyday to send in Sand users after Stand users.
>Why not just open it and let in the Lucrehulk that whole crowd of Stand users that we saw in the Epilogue where they were presented to the Prophets (And we saw Kano first time then).

Most probable answer is that he can't do any of that.
>He must have a delay, or something.
>While he seem to be able to move himself with it more freely, it still seems that he can't just endlessly spam Death's Door teleport.
>And to bringing another person with him is an ability that is even more tiring and requires long recharge.
>As for the advanced technological mechanisms (like that massive bomb mentioned earlier) they probably can't pass through the door properly.
>Perhaps they end up being fried and useless when getting through.
Maybe he could just bring in some chunk of explosive material and set it off with something as simple as match.
>Probably he can' t do it as well, because I doubt Covenant would hesitate even a moment on such a chance to destroy our entire ship.
He must have limitations, but perhaps today his Death's Door Stand ability is once more recharged and ready to bring in assassin/ saboteur with Stand, so it's better to be vigilant.

I looked at former version of Sudent's Pastebin (saved at Saiyan Conqueror Quest 133) and it's like that:
>None of the Super Saiyans died.
From the Killed In Action list:
>Morka(M)
>Michi(F)
>Espina(F)
>Gamja(M)

Michi(F) She was third best female not Super Saiyan Student.
She had power level of 178036.
> (Only 2 girls are better than her. It's Ayote-189947 and Arotte-194700)
It's interesting to note that of all Super Saiyan Students none of them even had their base power as high as Michi that died.
Super Saiyan Students ranked by power level from best to lowest are :
>Totoma(F)-145,223
>Nion(M)-94,500
>Rugu(M)-88,450
>Sabi(F)-64,336
>Lattu(F)-29,750
If Michi attained Super Saiyan she would be stronger than any of Karn's Super Saiyan Student's so far.

Others from Killed In Action list:
>Morka(M) = Morka-88127
>Gamja(M) = Gamja-83367
Both Morka(M) and Gamja(M) had average power level, they were not among the students with some of the lowest power levels.(like for example Orat (M)-59031 or Cress (F)-28350)
>Espina(F) Espina- did not had her power level revealed.

Their death is such loss. As far as I know I think in character Karn does not know a way to bring them back. So their death is permanent.
>(Theoretically there are Dragon Balls at Conton City, but that's it. I'm not even sure if Karn knows he could use them to make a wish that raises the dead.)
So looks like we will never see them again.

For several seconds you let your fury run hot, body swelling as you begin unconsciously transforming into your Berserker form. But instead of flying off the handle and losing control, as Raven taught you you close your eyes, and breathe. A sharp, almost violent inhale, hold it for three seconds, then slowly breathe it back out. The exhale takes more than a full minute, yet still comes out more as a seethe than a calm exhale. But the meditation trick does its job, you no longer only seeing red and are able to think. There’s an enemy fleet out there, ready to intercept anyone who flees the planet to return to the Lucrehulk. So it’s out there somewhere between your ship and this planet, no doubt closer to the planet than your ship. If it were in range, with everyone on board they certainly wouldn’t have survived long. But that leaves the question of how will you handle this?

“Cowards. But still, it is a rather effective tactic.” Bane’s spectral form says, the Sith phantom appearing translucent beside you. “They clearly knew that defeating you with their available resources was unlikely, so laid their trap specifically to pull your attention away while getting into place to attack your men. You’d better be careful moving forward, Karn. It seems these Covenant have aquired a tactical genuis.”
“I’ll tear out it’s genuis and stomp it to death!” you fume, angrily and impatiently pacing back and forth as you keep expanding your ki sense’s range. Yet no matter how far out you reach, you cannot sense anyone beyond the planet you’re currently on. “DAMMIT! I can’t sense anything!”

“Rage can be a source of strength, when used in the right time and place.” the ancirnt Sith says emotionlessly. “You have to calm down, and think.”
“I AM CALM!!” you snap at him, glaring at his smug, condescending smirk for several seconds before closing your eyes, and taking several calming breaths. “I’m calm. But this is bad. I can’t sense them out there. Even if we win here, they’ll slaughter a good amount of my men before I could take down another fleet.”
“And the obvious answer would be to again abandon your soldiers, and charge headlong into danger.” Bane replies. “And here’s how that will go. You may reach that fleet, but they will destroy your pod at all costs. And once you’ve destroyed the ships, then what?”
“If I can’t sense them from here, then I can’t get back.” you reply, eyes widening as you realize just how bad this situation is. And if they’re much closer to this planet than the ship...”
“Then you would die.” Bane says cryptically. “Check. Mate.”

“So what the hell do I do?” you retort hotly, and noticing your emerald aura flaring wild you take another breath and forcibly calm yourself. You even return back to your base form, to subdue your anger for now. “I can’t go alone, and I can’t bring my men with me or it’ll devolve into a pointless slaughter that’ll just get us all killed.”
“This enemy is clever.” he replies. “Whatever you try and do yourself, this enemy will inflict heavy casualties upon you or your men. How will you handle this, I wonder? I shall be watching this battle rather closely.”

And with that he’s gone, although technically he was never really there? Being a psychic impression on the inside of your head and all, he can just appear and disappear to your senses seemingly at will. Which, if he were more of a pest, would be quite annoying. But here he has a point, this enemy trap seems to be rather well thought out.

But what will you do? What CAN you do?
>Join the battle on the ground for now, wipe out the enemy in front of you first
>Conjure an airtight Barrier around yourself and charge into space. Try and reach this fleet before you run out of air

>>4396276
First things first, you have to finish the job here. But you can’t waste any more time, crossing your arms you begin focusing for one of your more specialized skills. Parting your energy, you swiftly begin scattering your energy, first into two bodies, then splitting each of them into another two bodies. Where one Karn stood before, now you are four. Looking around at yourselves, you all nod to each other then transform, unleashing your Berserker power before launching yourselves into the air. Each body focused in on a different fortress, you all fly off towards the distant targets. Witnessing the world through eight sets of eyes is still a bizarre experience, but this is exactly what you need. You need to blow off some steam before you can think clearly, and this’ll be the best way.

Each of you comes to a stop above a seperate, yet virtually-identical fortress. Each one has the same set of anti-aircraft weapons as the last one, but you know how to handle that. Eight hands simultaneously conjure balls of energy, then as one your four right arms throw Scattershots down.

“HRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar from all four Karns simultaneously, unloading Scattershot after Scattershot down onto the shielded bases. Before any of their cannons can orient onto any of you the shields are all destroyed, quickly followed by the giant cannons themselves. But you don’t stop with just some damaged weapons, raining Scattershot after Scattershot down onto the Covenant bases. After a minute or so of constant attacking you finally stop, sighing out and examining your handiwork. Each base is little more than a smoking crater now, you having not stopped until every single living thing cowering inside their fortresses was slain. But this tantrum did it’s goal, you sighing out and turning each of you to the last base and flying to it while reaching out to Captain Ginyu telepathically. “Ginyu, we’ve got a problem.”

“Wait, Karn?” he asks, confused. “Why the hell do I sense your energy coming from four seperate locations?”
“I’ll explain later. Right now we have bigger problems.” you say, quickly explaining the situation. You can feel Ginyu’s own outrage through the telepathic link, furious at the Covenant for going after the injured when they cannot fight back. “And to make it worse, their fleet is sitting somewhere out of my range. I can’t go to them without risking being stuck out there.”
cont
>>
>>4396475
While talking with Ginyu, and explaining the situation, you were controlling your four bodies to converge on the final Covenant base. Too worried to worry about saving them, to try and capture intel, all four of your bodies begin raining down a storm of Scattershots on the final base. The fortification and it’s shields last less than a minute, you reducing it to little more than a smoking crater while continuing the conversation.

“Right now we’re sitting ducks. Even once we win here, there’s no way we’ll be able to escape.” you continue. “Their fleet is out there waiting for us, sitting between this planet and our ship waiting to snipe us.”
“This is really troubling news.” Ginyu replies. “We have to figure something out. But what can we do?”

Which is a good question. Well?
>Telepathically reach out to Freeza, tell him what’s going on
>Telepathically speak with Arctus, have him deploy some of his droid fighters to attack that fleet
>Use your Multiform and Instant Transmission to greatly extend your ki sensing and teleporting range, see if you can find the fleet that way

Let's finish this shit first, so we won't have any distractions
>>
>>4396477
>Telepathically reach out to Freeza, tell him what’s going on
Freeza is our main strategy man here. He can order Arctus to do what's necessary, if he feels it's the best move.
As an aside, if Freeza personally deals with the fleet, his power level is high enough that it'd make sensing him a breeze even at a huge distance if he goes gold.
>>
>>4396477
>Recombine yourselves then use your Barrier to charge into space with hopefully enough air to reach this fleet
Not yet. We can't randomly fly into space hoping to find them before the Oxygen runs out.

First we
>Use your Multiform and Instant Transmission to greatly extend your ki sensing and teleporting range, see if you can find the fleet that way
If it is in reachable distance then we:
>Recombine yourselves then use your Barrier to charge into space with hopefully enough air to reach this fleet
Then
>Once we are close enough we use Instant Transmision to the nearest Covenant ship and start destruction of the fleet from there.
>But like I said earlier we don't destroy every ship.
>We leave 1 untouched.
>Then we use Instant Transmission to get on board.
Once the we got 2 options (which ever seems better)
option 1
>Force the pilot/crew to take us back to the planet.
Option 2 (possibly safer and potentially better imo):
>Kill everyone on deck just in case.
>I don't want them to activate ship's self destruction sequence.
>"But without the pilot we can't fly this thing"
>Not a problem.
>We use telekinesis to drag this ship back to the planet.
Once we are near enough we can give it to scientist (there will be some prisoner too as a bonus) or just crash it, but we will be close enough to reach planet and then our Lucrehulk.

“I’m not sure.” you reply. “So I’m gonna tell Lord Freeza what’s going on, and see what ideas he’s got.”
“Understood.” he replies. “I’ll finish these last stragglers here, while you see what plan Lord Freeza comes up with.”
“Good hunting.” you say to him, then end the link. Your focus instead switches to your friend, and the emperor of the universe, Lord Freeza. “Lord Freeza, we’ve got a problem.”
“Karn? What’s going on?” Freeza asks, you feeling his immediate concern through the link. “What’s the situation down there?”

You quickly fill him in on what’s happened, the first trap and Stand, then the interception fleet that killed four of your injured and your subsequent destruction of every single Covenant fortification on the planet.

“Hrrmmmm. I see.” he replies. “I would agree with your estimations, that the Covenant have some new commander or strategist running the show. And I would certainly doubt that whoever it was is now with that fleet. However, with your forces being effectively pinned down, I believe that I shall go and pay this fleet a visit myself. I shall let you know once the path is clear.”
“Thank you, Lord Freeza.” you tell him, your friend ending the telepathic link. If he goes on the attack, and uses his full power, you sincerely doubt that the entire fleet could last more than five minutes. Hell, if Freeza uses 100% of his Golden form’s power, even you can’t last that long against him.

“Karn, it’s over! We got ‘em!” Lattu thinks to you excitedly. “The last of their soldiers have been exterminated, we’re ready to move on and attack whichever bases are left.”
“They’ve already been eliminated.” you tell her. “All the other enemy forces have been eliminated. Gather everyone up, I’ve got an announcement to make.”
“Yes sir!” she replies, you ending the conversation as you pull yourself together and retake your base form. Once ready, you fly back towards your team, seeing everyone else having already began relaxing. Some are feasting on the dead enemy, others are picking through the corpses for anything worth keeping while a few more are tending to superficial wounds. Seeing you several cheer, which is picked up by your other soldiers until the entire force is standing and cheering for you. Which makes your heart sink, knowing the news you have to deliver. So you land atop your attack pod, and begin addressing everyone.

“Friends, students, allies. We’ve won this day.” you say, to another round of cheers. Which you hold a hand up for silence to, everyone complying and letting you continue. “But this victory has come at a heavy cost. Morka, Michi, Espina, and Gamja, all brave Saiyans injured in the battle, are no longer with us. They have been murdered.”
cont
>>
>>4396651
Nothing but silence greets your announcement, everyone staring at you wide-eyed. Except for Ginyu and his men, who he doubtlessly already told. But you keep speaking, addressing everyone who’d just lost a friend, no, a brother.

“Between this planet and our ship, a massive Covenant fleet has appeared.” you tell them, fists clenching angrily. “Before they knew what was happening they were ambushed in their pods, slaughtered while traveling to receive the healing needed to keep them alive.”

Now the muttering begins, everyone whispering amongst themselves in angry tones. Voices quickly rise, everyone getting heated at this news. Again you raise a hand and again everyone quiets down, albeit much slower than before.

“But their deaths were not in vain!” you tell them, your own voice rising. “Their sacrifice saved us all, exposing the enemy’s would-be ambush before they could kill us all. And as I speak, Lord Freeza himself is on the move. I told him what happened, and now he is clearing us a path. Once he’s given us the all-clear, we shall return to the ship and-“

But as you’re speaking, you suddenly feel a massive powerlevel approaching at high speed. Before you can say anything, however, there is a golden streak of light that slams down to the ground beside you. Stopping so immediately releases powerful shockwaves that almost send you flying, most of your students and the Ginyu Force all sent tumbling back. As the dust settles, you see the newest arrival.

“It is done.” Freeza says, his golden hide shining brilliantly. “Those cowards are no more.”

Seeing Golden Freeza, and knowing what that means, the crowd erupts into deafening cheers. But Freeza ignores them, turning to you and holding a hand out. Which you take, the cheers growing even more deafening.

>And that’s it for this weekend, everyone enjoy the ride?
Yes. Things that I was worried that would happen did not happen. That is a very good news.
So good we got Freeza, and he helped with this. All of Covenant's devious and treacherous planning got countered.
>Ready to return to the Lucrehulk, and prepare for this campaign’s largest battle yet?
Yes, and excited.
>for this campaign’s largest battle yet?
Does that mean our next stop is Sanghelios?
We still haven't faced the Arbiter yet. Last Arbiter was a strong enemy. I wonder what the new one will be.
We still haven't faced Kano and his mission appears to be to specifically kill Karn.
Perhaps when Karn will be fighting the Arbiter, Kano will unexpectedly attack Karn too with his 2 Black Dragons Stand.
This would be a disgraceful move, so seems like something quite possible from Covenant.

>Curious how Vegeta and the other Saiyans’ battle is going?
Of course. To them facing a Stand user is a different challenge as they can't see the enemy Stand.
>>
You know, I wonder how the sangheili feel about being pressured to use increasingly dishonorable tactics. Culturally, they're ALL about honor, but all that Karn's seem them do is cowardly bullshit - they cloak, they ambush, they target the family of their enemies...those splitjaws have a really bad reputation in the eyes of the saiyans, who hilariously have been more honorable than them. Saiyans almost always fight you man to man, without any bullshit.
>>
Not a splitjaws sympathizer but tbf attacking our injured units became 100% on the table for them after we killed their fleeing civilians. Just thought I'd point that out before we all go blind in rage and act like Karn dindu nuffin.
>>

Karn literally did nothing wrong
>>
>>4396973
Those ships were full of sleeper agents and disguised combatants. Not a single civilian on board.

Let's also not forget how Karn saved a covenant ship from the depths of the ocean when a ceasefire was called.
Although I wouldn't be surprised if every single one of the covvies in that ship committed suicide with two shots to the back of the skull once they returned to covenant territory.

>>
>>4397216
Alright fine. But at the same time I'm not gonna fault him for any of that in the context of being a warrior. A true warrior will use anything and everything to defeat his opponent.

>>4397221
Oh yeah no, not saying Karn’s some hero. War’s a messy business
>>
>>4397247

Remember when Covenant started glassing New Salda (during their siege of the planet)?
Quote from Prophet of Truth (source "https://halo.fandom.com/wiki/Glassing") about glassing (also known as plasma bombardment):
>“You are, all of you, vermin. Cowering in the dirt thinking what, I wonder? That you might escape the coming fire? No. Your world will burn until its surface is but glass!”
This does not give the impression that they are very concerned with not killing the civilians.

>Alright, with this campaign nearing the halfway point, have you enjoyed the different battles so far?
Yes.
>Ready for the most hectic one yet, and to face the Covenant’s most deadly traps yet?
> most hectic one yet
> Covenant’s most deadly traps yet?
That's what I was thinking about and have been worried about too.

Battles so far has been challenging, but...
>You could say that they did not use some deadly tactics that seemed to be available at hand.
For example Stands. Combat involving them is something that seems new to them, and to us.
>So far they have been sending 1 Stand user to battle at a time.
It's more like they are gathering data on how useful they are, and how to best use them against us.
(cont.)
>>
File: Covenant.png (136 KB, 500x500)
136 KB
136 KB PNG
>>4400410
This paired with GD hinting (and Darth Bane suggesting it in quest) that they have some tactical genius employed is a bad omen.
>Also this whole matter about how they used the data from previous battles to devise plan for a trap specifically made to lure Karn in and keep his attention in there, while simultaneously bringing new enemy fleet to cut our path of return to the Lucrehulk.
>Not to mention this whole of poisonous Stand in a locked area where some Lekgolo warriors did everything they could to avert our attention from poison spreading in the air.
Those battles were important for Covenant to learn more about our newest strong and weak points. But that may end soon, maybe it's already over.

Soon they might start truly using that knowledge and really attempt to deliver strongest hits they can.
For example possible Covenat's planning:
>Okay so all Blessed Stand users that were send against Karn died, he has shown to be adapt in fighting them.
>But we did send 1 Sangheili against the team with Vegeta in, and the Stand user was close to victory.
>Next time the attempt to do it will be like this.
>Send more than 1 stand user against Karn. He will probably manage to get through it anyway, but it should keep his attention long enough.
>When we are sure he is busy, more of Covenant's blessed Stand users will be send to fight team with King Vegeta on.
>That team has higher vulnerability against combat involving Stand's.
>Their weak point will be exploited and perhaps it will even bring glorious success for the Covenant Empire!
>Heretical King Vegeta defeated!
>Killing Dragon Of Heresy is great, but if we can't get him now, then killing the King will be enormous triumph of the Covenant!
*(If I recall right on Covenant side they seem to call Karn "the Dragon Of Heresy".)
So yeah I think we really got do our best to make sure Covenant does not succeeds in getting their way.

Want to clarify something here. The user wasn’t actually nearby. He was at the atmosphere controls, directing his Stand’s gas to flow through a specific path. But when he said to go all-out, the floodgates were opened. If you hadn’t escaped your prison the way you did, the entire base would have been swiftly filled. His orders were to kill you, no matter the collateral damage.
And yes, they know that Karn’s apparently the only one able to battle effectively against Stand users. Their shadowy strategist is a clever bastard, and will certainly use this against you.

Thanks. Maybe in the future they will get an upgrade.

Anyway I was thinking about Meloka.
> Meloka (among many things) made in her training swarm of very well controlled target seeking Ki spheres that detonate can when they reach the target.
That itself is very impressive.
If I'm thinking correctly she is person with best skill in energy/Ki control that Karn knows in character.
>(I know Karn battled with Gotenks when he was in the Tme Patrollers City)
But that leads back to Gotenks and his Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack.

Those Ghosts:
>You can touch them, so they are tangible (but they will explode shortly after).
>They each have sentience, and even different personalities.
>They even seem to demonstrate some independence (1 of them is not very keen on real Gotenks being his boss).
>Capable of following a plan.
For anyone who wishes to have a quick memory refreshment.
>This link leads to 3 minutes and 19 seconds fragment from Dragon Ball Z (English dub).
>It demonstrates this.

But Buu version of it is even crazier.
His Ghosts:
>Their personality resembles more that of a Buu.
>So they are all very aggressive and looking forward to damaging Vegito.
>But then each of them makes something a like Kamehameha.
>The energy wave is also not simply straight wave, but instead it changes directions and chases after Vegito.
>Later 3 of them use another technique to cut of Vegito's path
Another memory refreshment for anyone who wants.
>2 minutes and 35 seconds fragment from Dragon Ball Z
>Vegito vs Buu and Kamikaze Ghosts

Wow just wow.
Is this a Ki energy technique?
> Or do you need something more than just Ki to make it (magic or something?)
But if it is a pure Ki energy technique.
>Then it seems like crazy advanced.

I was wondering. Maybe that's just my impression, but Gotenks and Trunks as kids did not show skill in Ki energy control that is this high.
>So maybe when they fused not only their power levels got boosted.
>Their skill levels got improved as well.
>And that's why they are skillful enough to do it when they are fused.

Yes, fusions seem to have different bonuses from type to type

>Namekian fusion
>can give huge boosts and adds skill
>no requirement other than being a warrior clan

>Kai Fusion
>combines and multiplies
>Permanent with a kai at the cost of subsuming the weaker side
Needs a gay ass earring

>The Chad Metamoran Fusion
Seems to combine every trait of the users to a stronger whole
>DB fusions hints at the ceiling of fusion being 5 man fusions
>One of the 5 man fusions was capable of turning young super saiyan into Golden great ape freeza cell thing that fought beerus
>the downside is that the users need to sychronise and a 5 minute timer
>even the size difference seems possible to overcome
>>

Always happy to clarify
Checking for other users could be useful, but IC you only know of two Saiyans with Stands.
Healing pods only can seal wounds, and only within a certain amount of damage. It cannot replace missing organs or regrow limbs, but can reattach a limb if it’s in the pod with the victim in the right spot.
>are there more secrets
What kind of QM would reveal that either way?
>>4403342
We know that, even as late as Age 779 they can’t regrow from nothing. Even the Freeza bits had to all be collected for their decades-advanced Healing Pod to put him back together.
Gotenks’ version was all ki, but who knows with Buu? After all, and spoiler if you haven’t followed the manga, Majin Buu had access to all of Grand Supreme Kai’s magic, which is how he was able to turn people to candy, restore sight to the blind, and other such miracles.
Both Potara and Metamoran fusion combine the fusee’s abilities, experiences, and intellect. Which is why Gotenks, Kefla, Vegito, Gogeta and Zamasu all display abilities never seen by other fighters.
>>4403416
Being warrior clan is NOT a requirement, as Kami was dragon clan. And virtually every Namekian from U6 combined into two fighters.
And the differences between Potara and Metamoran fusions are important. For mortals, the Potara fusion is superior. But for divine non-kai beings, or those that eventually want to defuse, the Metamoran fusion is better. Let me explain:
-A Potara fusion is held together by divine ki, and the more divine ki you use the weaker the fusion becomes. Like, for example, a Super Saiyan Blue Final Kamehameha simply burns too much power, and will split the fusion. The Metamoran-style fusion, however, is held together by mortal ki. So the more normal, non-divine ki you use, like for example an Apex Saiyan’s Big Bang Kamehameha, will drastically weaken the fusion’s bonds and split it apart. Each type of fusion has its own strengths and weaknesses, dependant on those fusing together.

I hope we get to explode at least 1 planet from orbit, preferably a star and take the whole system.

Interesting information.
>Kai Fusion
>Needs a gay ass earring
Getting those earrings seems pretty much impossible right now.

>The Chad Metamoran Fusion
>DB fusions hints at the ceiling of fusion being 5 man fusions

That sounds so crazy if it's possible.

But if the fusion can be maintained for only 5 minutes, then it's quite a big downside.
>Karn get's fused with Freeza, Broly, Vegeta and Ubo.
>Fusion attempt commences.
>It's not one of the fat versions or the almost skeleton versions.
>It's the successful one.
>Warrior of huge power level appears.
>Begins to stretch.
>Thinks of a cool name for that kind of combo fusion.
>Maybe VeKarUboReezaRoly?
Suddenly someone shouts:
>You already used 1 minute and 59 seconds of your time while stretching and coming up with a good name!
>Only 3 minutes remain!
Before anyone knows the 5 minutes are almost over, and then it's really "Time's up".
5 minutes limit is just too short.

>are there more secrets

I understand. I think it is quite possible that there is something more.

>We know that, even as late as Age 779 they can’t regrow from nothing. Even the Freeza bits had to all be collected for their decades-advanced Healing Pod to put him back together.
True.
Maybe it would be possible to learn in the future some healing that would not require being dependent of the use of Regeneration Chamber. Maybe something with the Force or maybe something else.

>Gotenks’ version was all ki, but who knows with Buu? After all, and spoiler if you haven’t followed the manga, Majin Buu had access to all of Grand Supreme Kai’s magic, which is how he was able to turn people to candy, restore sight to the blind, and other such miracles.
Very interesting.

>Both Potara and Metamoran fusion combine the fusee’s abilities, experiences, and intellect. Which is why Gotenks, Kefla, Vegito, Gogeta and Zamasu all display abilities never seen by other fighters.
So much power but only for a while (unless you are a Kai).

I just had a thought related to earlier discussion about Raven.
>>4396342
>She hasn’t been to that planet, so cannot make a portal there. She could make one to the Lucrehulk from New Salda, but that wouldn’t accomplish much.
It's true in terms of the situation that was talked about in the past.

But it could perhaps be used to make 1 person happy.
>GD said we are heading to towards next battle.
What if:
> shortly before the battle we contact Raven.
>Ask her to open a portal to a Lucrehulk from New Salda.
>Then contact Ubo and ask him if he wants to join us in smashing Covenant ships, soldiers and military equipment.
>I have a little suspicion that Ubo would be very happy to be able to participate in such activity.
>If he is needed in New Salda then he will simply return soon after the battle is concluded.
>So he will remain on the home planet most of the time and just join us shortly before the battle is about to begin.
>We could do this in all of our upcoming battles of the campaign against the Covenant.
I think this could really make his mood better.
