Hi guys. This will update slowly about twice a day but I hope to do it every day in exchange for that.

As for those that might be disappointed about not choosing a partner I can say it would not have helped any. I have made custom evolution trees while there will be familiar faces Hagurumon won't become Guardromon for example so expect surprises.

Also English is not my 1st languige so there will be mistakes.

Okay time for the 2nd update.

Anyways I open my Inbox. The first thing I notice was a letter that contained 1 year aniversary gifts [Trailmon Pass (1 week)] and [Universal Chip] x5.

None of this was unobtainable in game but getting a permenent Trailmon Pass for traveling is effectively imposible until ultamite stage of the game and the time limited passes like the one here are considered waste of Bits as they a way to expensive for convenience they offer.

Universal chip cures and restores everything and can be crafted by anyone that has completed Circut Tower quest line but they are not that popular for how slow and resource intensive they are to craft.

I guess the devs decided to float usefull bet inefeacent to get normally gifts since only micro transactions in the game are Username change and Super Deevolution crystal that instantly resets your partner to baby stage.

Next thing that caught my eye was a letter from xX_Pandora_Xx.

[Fabian I will meet you at the Electrum Mine at our usual time. I have a suprise for you~.]

That being done I sudenly suddenly felt a uncomfortable jolt run trough me. Looking down I saw Būmon kicking my leg repeatedly.

"Common don't ignore me Fabian." He oinked annoyed. "Let's play or train anything but just standing around."

"Sorry about that. I was in my own world." I said surprised. "What got you so worked up now?" As a Burpmon he used to be really pasive and glutinous.

"Duno eversince I digivolved I wana move constantly. Now come let's do somthing." He whined at me.

"I supose we have couple of hours untill we needed to go meet up with Pandora. Let's go explore..."

Mutagen Wastes win. With that you will discover 3 out of 7 Rookies Būmon can become. This area revealed more than any other area offered tought I expect most to not recognize these digimon tought other 4 posibilities are more classic options you can see in allmost any digimon video game.

Also the quest system will be narrative as I fully admit my slow update schedule would drive people insane if they had to wate 12+ hours for crit fail update.

Also a background roll to see if a special event triggers in background besides pre planed plot. DC 85 to trigger it.

Mutagen Wastes was one of the 4 beginner areas practically right next to Hub Town the starter area of all New players. It was an area mostly occupied with dragon and mutant type digimon.

Aproching the area one could see that grass was becoming less and less green and common and trees were replaced with far apart rock formations.

On the edge of the area proper there was a camp with a laid back looking dog with Grey purple looking fur just sunbathing. He had a yellow exclamation mark floating above him meaning he had a quest.

He visibly perked up when he noticed me and Būmon Aproching him. Yawning and stretching he spoke up. "With what can this Gazimon help you guys?"

"Names Fabian4 and this is my partner Būmon. We were wondering what are you doing here camping so close by the wastes?" Can't rude about this lerned it the hard way that straight up demanding quests allways failed in Hub town.

"Nothing much just the monthly camping trip with my bros. The cotton brained Pagumon got it in their head that I'm now their gang boss eversince I digivolved." At that he he chuckled and paused. "Now that I think about it they have been gone to collect matreals for their hobbies for some time now. Can you find the 3 of them? I can't leve the camp unattended in case some of them return."

Bingo! To that I nodded. "You can leve it to us!" My partner also agreed.

Walking deeper in the wastes we encountered our first opposition. A pair of Kyokyomon and strangely enough Chapmon that emerged from the purple water...

Disregarding the contradictions with lore the red circle barrier quickly formed and battle was on with me giving instructions for Būmon. In the end it was not that hard a battle with Būmon quickly wining blowing his bubbles at his opposition.

After the battle I received notification that the mutant and dragon data had revealed 3 of the 7 posible evolutions Būmon had.

They were Gaossmon small blue dinasur with big head and no arms from dragon data. Bacomon a cardboard box man and
Shortmon a digimon with a cake slice for a head and cake decor for whipped cream tail on a humanoid body from mutant data. They all had difrences Gaossmon had higest over all starting stat total but he had really crippling weakness to water to the point I suspected he would be badly hurt by pretty much anything with water element. Other 2 were more balanced Shortmon having higher Int and Bacomon had higher Def. Pondering them a bit I decades it was still to early to push for any single path as other 4 possibilities were still hidden.

Now how to find the Pagumon?

Right can't afford to take it slow if I want to be shure that I'm not late for the meet up. That ment being less picky about fights and surprisingly enough the yellow snake like dragons were the easyer of the 2 opponents. They hit relatively hard shure but their Metal straw attack that fired metal spikes was highly inaccurate and coriographed so a single dodge command was more often than not enough for Būmon to avoid all harm. The real problem were Chapmon especialy if the fight was 2 on 1. The green plant bird things Foam Shower was quick to fire so it was harder to avoid and its effects status effect confusion effected the pig like Būmon somthing fearce. Under the statuses effect Būmon was mistaking commands and had trouble of keeping track of his opponents leading to damige slowly piling on.

All the while we searched for the missing Pagumon. 1st one was found behind a rock formation nearby trying to pull out some purple root plant. According to Pagumon its good in a stew tough I doubted that as it looked nasty with covered in some white sluge. 2nd Pagumon was surrounded by a group of 4 digimon that were really angry at him. It was a really hard fight and I needed to use one of my Uneversal Chips to not be defeated and sent back to Hub Town. Aperently this Pagumon pranked the group and they took exception to that. As for the 3rd he was hidden in some obscure hiding spot off the beaten path. Being a coward it decided to just wait it out when he saw the 2nd get in to argument. Strangely he had a bag with him that looked allmost bursting with stuff.

When I returned to the campsite Gazimon looked annoyed. It turned out that the plant the 1st one picked up really wasn't good in a stew and he had to constantly keep vigilant and guard the pot cooking on fire.

"Thanks for the help. I don't have much but accept this as may gratitude. He dug troug his backpack on the side and presented me with a necklace on a string. In its center it had a blank spot where somthing could be placed." As I took it from him his easygoing smile seem to gains some teeth.

Okay... Not Shure what to make of that upon examining it was human acesasory that increased exp gain by 2%.

Not seeing any ham I equipped it and made my way towards closest Trailmon station to catch a ride to electrum mine. The trip won't be long but it had enough time to...

Looking around I saw ton of people in the trailmons wagon with baby stage digimon likely taking advantige of the week long pass to travel safely between settlements without the usual risks. (Not that only having Intraining digimon alowed me to travel that much either.) Looks like there are ton of new players for the 1 year aniversary. To be hornest most of them won't stick around so going to any of them is a gamble...

So I turn my gaze towards others. There are good amount of people with intraining and even Rookies safer choices but I quickly dismiss them as I see light blue hatred teen with just a floating cube and no visible partner in sight not knowing what that means curiosity got the better of me.

Making my way to the figure looking outside Trailmons window I speak up. "Excuse me is the seat next to you taken?"

Bit surprised they take their sight off the outside. "No go right ahead." They speak and then turn their sight back to the window.

Akwardly siting down I fish out some blue apples for Būmon to snack on. My gaze kept on drifting to the cube but it's owner seemed uninterested before he suddenly just sighed.

"Just ask whatever you want to ask this silence is awkward as hell." He spoke up after what seemed like forever.

"It's about the cube. I'm just wondering what's that. I haven't seen that before." Just glad that silence was broken.

"Have you seen a champion before?" They asked. Taken aback I just nod. "Then you should know how big some of them are. The cubes a data storage acesory that allows one to cary digimon where they wouldn't usualy fit. Developers quickly realized that giant creatures clipping trough human or slightly biger than human buildings was not ideal." They responded sounding amused at the idea of said problem.

"So that's what it was. Sorry for making it awkward. Names Fabian4 and that's Būmon." Said pig like digimon just looked at him and gave a nod before starting on his 4th blue apple. I really should stop after this one don't want to overfeed him again.

"Names Cobalt_Striker and the grump in the box is Blue Greymon the so called feral Greymon by some. Just between the 2 of us he is just a bit grumpy once you work a bit on his obidiance score." To that the box just glowed blue for a moment.

"It was disobedient?" I asked surprised usualy disobedience only happens whit serious care mistakes from what I had red on forums.

Leaning back in his seat he replied. "Yeah some rare digimon start with low obidiance score on digivolution. Not wanting to deal with that again is half the reasion I'm on this Trailmon got a clue that Babamon pretty much on the other side of the map knows how to modify the usual virus Metal Greymon evolution to not that problem again."

I whisled at that. "Sounds like a quest." To that his reply was probably. After that I spent my time before getting off with small talk and ended up adding him to my friends list.

No vote will continue from where I left of with this after 5 or so hours.

The Trailmon stop wasn't exactly by the Electrum mine but the village that owned it. My first impresion of the place was that someone very tacky designed the place as the place was overflowing with gold and silver colors literaly everywhere close to nothing was spared. I don't quite get what gold and silver have to do with electrum but I'm no metal geek by any means.

I sent a quick mesige to Pandora saying that I had arived at the village. And am waiting for her a little off the Trailmon station.

Maybe 7 minutes passed before I herd a soft woice calling to me. "Hello Fabian. I am so glad you did not blow me off." Turning towards the voice I Saw Pandora in all her glory. She could have passed for any serious looking school president with long straight black hair and glasses in game. Too bad that I knew that she was not quite that striking in real life. Then again everyone have their "perfect" avatar in these kind of games. I myself had put up a bit more muscle on my frame not enough to be truly muscular but enough to be mistaken for someone that swims a lot. A bit behind her was her partner Renamon the fox looking as easy going as allways compared to the serious air of Pandora.

"No problem what are frends for? Besides the least I can do is tag along the classmate that recommended this game in first place." I shrugged and joged a bit to cover the rest of the distance between us. "So what's the suprise? Not seing anything here."

"Of course not the suprise happens after I finish a quest, I held off finishing it just to show you. Follow me to the mine." She then led me to the mine. On the way she explained that electrum was common matrealbused for novice HP recovery chips.

When there she talked to a gold plated Guardromon. Informing that they had delivered all the mesige to the on site leaders. As a reward she received a chunk 2 cunks of ore.

She put one in her inventory and held out the other towards Renamon. "Redy?" She asked he partner.

"You know the answer to that~ Now go show off!" Was her partners reply. The chunk of ore burst in to data and then Renamon started to glow.

"Renamon Digivolve to..."

The next moment in her place was a big egg of energy that burst allmost imediatly revealing a nine tailed silver fox that had red and white bow around its neck and a yin yang symbol on its forhead.

"Silver Kyubimon!"

"How do you like it? That was quite a show wasn't it." Asked Pandora. "It has become a tradition to gather their frend group together here to witness any evolution past rookie."

"Yeah it was impressive. I only have one question why is Kyubimons fur silver?" Renamons evolution line was quite popular after all and I'm pretty Shure it depicted yellow fox all the way.

"Got a tip from a data mining site that this mine had a quest that would give option to modify some digimon evolution lines to either silver or gold. So I tough why not?" She shrugged.

"So that's why there was so much silver and gold colors in villages!" I exclaimed.

"Pretty much." Interjected Kyubimon that had stayed quiet untill now and and focused on admiring themselves. "Now let's go in to the mine proper to grind. Just so you get somthing out of this too. As a rookie I was a bit chalinge but now I'm Shure I can keep you guys safe easly."

To those news Būmon squealed in excitement. "Big sis is the best." He particaly had stars in his eyes.

We spent lots of time in an area with mainly Hagurumon many of them looked normal but some had extra tachments such as drills attached clearly ment to be workers here. To be hornest I could not exactly judge how strong they where as Kyubimon pretty much decimated all of them in the red arena barrier. That luxury did not come with no cost tought as Kyubimon was 2 whole stages higer than Būmon there was a heavy exp penalty imposed. Even if in the end it was just a bit more that I would get at the 4 start zones. I strongly suspected there were better exp elsewhere even as a intraining.

The mostly watching Kyubimon just wipe the floor with the gear digimon was spent with ide chit chat.

"So I revealed 3 out of 7 rookie paths in mutagen Wastes earlier. And now I just got the 4th one. Suprise it's a Hagurumon Good Def and Int start from what I can tell penalty to speed though to make up for that." I explained while watching my partner run from a gear that soon after went up in flames from the Kyubimons red tail fireballs. The red battle barier faded.

"Hagurumon is quite popular partner. Eversince the entire protagonist team of the 2nd animated digimon series exclusively had them as partners." She sounded bit bored with that. "I get it Raijinmon, Fujinmon and Suijinmon are cool and their combination form is best thing since sliced bred but it's getting a bit silly you have to admit."

"Eh... I can see the charm in heroes combining in Super fighting machine." Was my diplomatic response. Deciding that I don't want to talk about the 2 animated series we got or the rumours of the 3rd coming soon I decided to change the subject. "Anyways the other 3 forms are Gaossmon, Bacomon and Shortmon. They all besides Gaossmon seem quite balanced having only one area the excell with with no penalties. Gaossmon seems like absolute unit tough the water weeknes is borderline crippling." A new battle barrier sprung up and Pandora just snorted in unladylike manner." What's so funny about that?"

"It just fits Gaossmon so well. There was a gag manga with him as a protagonist some time ago. The loud and fast defender Gaossmon! Thwarted by puddles and rain and pretty much anything else water related. Tought when his palls solved those problems he generally wrecked his opponents."

And so it went for a while till a question came to mind. "Is there even a difrence between Kyubimon and Silver Kyubimon?" For now it just seemed cosmetic.

"Not really besides being Data instead of Vaccine digimon. There is some small lore difr..." Whatever she was about to say was interrupted by loud jackhammer like noise coming from further down the tunnel.

"Do you know what's that? You have been here longer." To that she just shook her head.

In the end the answer was simple for the both of us. Shure I will likely end up in Hub Town if this is some seacret boss or somthing but atleast I will know what made that sound.

Speeding ahead but avoiding regular encounters we soon notice a big bull like figure with some kind of contraption for one of its its hands standing where 2 tunes intersected with its back turned to us. It seemed condused and scratching its head. "Damn bossy bastards sending me on a glorified fech quest. And now I end up here and not the Huma..." It abruptly stops itself mid sentanse and turns his head enough to see us. "Oh great more pests." Sounding genuenly fed up.

Hearing that pandora gives out a comand. "Kyubimon fight it." To witch the silver foxes response was a confused look. "Fight what? There's nothing here." Was her reply. Just as I was processing that I herd the exclamation of "Darkside Quake"

Everything shook and the next moment I was on the ground and realized that somthing was truly wrong as my avatar actualy felt pain. Not some unpleasant but fleating jolt but real bone deep pain.

"Fabian what happened? Why are you on the ground? This is no time for a nap." Bumon was nest to me and... He looked damige data leaking out of him but he acted like nothing happened.

Even as he fused over me fom my blury vision I could see that there was no red battle barrier and the bull had made its way to Pandora.

It swated away the Kyubimon that was fussing over Pandora just like Būmon was doing to me. Pandora looked positively horrified as she likely also felt pain from that quake attack and crawling away from the bullman. "Damn puppets can't even see me. Just shows you that imitations won't ever be worth a damn compared to the real thing." It then took a swing at Pandora.

I called out but, I was powerless only a miracle would save her. I knew that but I tried to move my body anyways it moved but it was obious it won't be fast to save her. Then everything suddenly shone gold and a small figure exploded in action. It was Būmon he shone like a sun but even now I could see he was still hurt leaking what seemed like a constant stream of data so I did the only thing I could and used Universal chip on him. He healed and now made another go at his oponent.

"Who dares! I'll crush them! Nobody crosses Minotaurmon and gets away with it." Yelled now named Minotaurmon as he was blocking the tackles from the small figure with his flesh arm. It looked like Būmon against all odds had it handled for a secound untill he was hit and the glow just shatered. I despratly used another chip to save him just as I saw the bull being lit on fire.

Just as I was about to truly get a handle on the situation a suden wave of exhaustion hit me. Last thing I saw before blacking out was the pendant I received from Gazimon glowing with a symboy that reminded me of a stylized triangle that had the letter M in the middle.

Amongst the countless tunels of raw data flew a majestic bird clad in silver and blue armor. Sure in its safety it flew without a worry but fate has a way to make a fool out us all.

Suddenly straining and gliching the tunnel twisted ever which way leading in infinity a warior bird was lost to an unknown realm crashing in land of scrap metal and wind. It had not even a moment or rest as the bird saw a feral threat even more blue than itself.

Waiking up was a chore everything hurt. Thankfully it was the kind of pain that will pass after a while. Taking off my VR helmet I just stared at the cealing for a good long while. What was that? Did someone hack the game and discover how to inflict pain if not what was that?

"Dear! A classmate is is calling you on the home phone!" I herd my mother call. That must be Alice she must be as shaken as me. While I discovered I could not run down stairs to the phone do to pain I could walk just fine.

"Hello who is it?" To witch my response was a sigh of relief. That definetly was Alice.

"I was so woried about you Ted you just collapsed and got auto logged out after that bright light and those device suddenly appearing that somehow saved us from... From that thing!" I was clear that she wanted to say more to that but held back. "How are you? Did the divice also follow you back to real life somehow?"

Follow back? She must be delusional. "I'm fine just ache all over. What device and what do you mean followed back?"

Now sounding a bit defensive she replied. "Im not mad there rely is a small pager like device that followed me back from the game."

"Okay okay I will check it out. Not really expecting much I just put my hand in my Jean pocket where some weight was likely from my cellphone exept it felt wrong and pulling out I gaped.As said it looked like a pager of somthing of the sort it was gold and had some pattern in darker color.

"Okay I have one. This just gets stranger and stranger." Now sounding more than bit weirded out. I rubed my neck in wory and felt a string looking down the pendant l had stayed on me in real world.

"We can't go back. Atleast without knowing what's up. I will try to find out what happened. I allready sent a complaint to game company." Alice sounded desperate.

"That's smart. I will go to you tomorrow after school to l help you out with..."

In a way the evening after the call was remarkably mundane. One could even dismiss all the crazy stuff that happened if one ignored the impossibility of digital items manifesting in reality and all the worrying implications that came with it.

The school day after was also obnoxiously mundane baring the fact that Alice was sticking to me like glue. I could see that she was jumpy and one could not blame her I probably acted off too even if I don't necessarily know how. We even got some strange looks from our classmates.

When we finally arrived at her place as agreed of yesterday. first thing we did was check out her email to see if the complaint got anywhere. Predictably enough what we got looked like a automated response. Not giving up I decided to call the firm directly while she somehow conected her divice to her laptop and was taping away at the keyboard.

"Ah yes I would like you to redirect me to your gaming devision. I need to talk with the project leader of 'Digital Arena Rise of the Chronomon'." I winced well awere how likely this was to go trough. There was silence and I was about to lose what little hope I had when a miracle happened.

"Hold on a minute I will see what I can do." Next minute with only frustrated growls and constant clicking of the keyboard from Alice in the background were excruciating.

"I'm sorry he can't talk to you right now." And so with a single line my hopes were dashed as she hund up on me.

One would usualy give up with that but I had a realization instead. I was a fool with calling the HQ. I needed to go to socal media instead and send everyone even vaigly related a mesige. And so it went for hours on end from artists to coders that were listed on game wiki as part of dev team got a mesige asking about the red barrier not working on encounter and the posibility of feeling actual pain. I left out the manifesting items as they would made me sound crazy and can be brought up if someone actualy mesiged back.

While I was doing that I herd a extra loud growl. "I give up this thing makes no sense the code is shifting constantly and the damn thing is coded in original coding languige using symbols similar to the ones on the plastic ring around the screen. I still have no idea what this thing actualy dose."

I was about to try chear up her spirits when chat function pinged on the socal site. One of the employees responded. "Someone I sent a letter to wants to chat see if we can get anything out of them."

Opening the log I saw their mesige. [So your one of them huh.] Well that wasn't suspicious at all. With Alice looking over my shoulder I started to truly chat.

Seing the figure I had no doubt they were real. I do not know why but they just made mee feel safe and relaxed. Whitch by itself set alarm bells as that should not be the case.

"Ah hello? My names Alice ant that's Tom. Why do you call us chosen?" Alice was the first to speak up.

"Oh I forgot to intraduce myself how rude." Giving off a feeling of being slightly disappointed in itself. "My name is Holydramon. You are the chosen because for some reasion you have been selected by the digital plane to defend it against hidden evils. Your digivice is proof enough for that."

That... Was heavy defend against evils? Me some hero? That just did not compute. "So what exactly happened yesterday?" For all the previous answer was its own thing the original question was unanswered still.

There suddenly was reget in the dragons eyes. "A renegad from digital world proper was lured in as as expected by your game. Sadly there was a crack in traps and security and he actualy made it in and quite loudly at that. If my suspicions are right somthing or someone had been sneaking in for some time now."

"So the game is a lure? Why allow people access to it then? Why put them at risk?" I voced my concerns.

"The fake digital world is a lure yes but it was not at first. As the mostly self unavere but still thinking constructs there and humans interact the relm is slowly gaining a metaphysical weight as more emotion and data is being invested. To pull the plug would be to kill a still infant world and that would be unaceptable. So instead that I and my associates agreed to protect it till it reaches its full maturity."

That also is quite heavy by itself that rises a question. "So Silver Kyubimon and Būmon are actualy alive? I supose I expected as much after yesterday." Alice asked with a bit more confidence than before.

"Your partners I assume? They were growing as everything else but I imagine being partners accelerated their maturing. I would suggest you visit them soon. They probably feel quite confused." Was the light response.

"Dose that makes us parents?" Is the first thing that escapes my mouth upon hearing that. Realizing what I said I contemplated offing myself because of embarrassment.

Alice on the side looked like she would have spit out her drink if she had anything to actualy drink and instead was giggling. "Well we did raise them from their eggs. I supose we are parental figures in some ways."

With a sigh they continued. "Besides symbolizing your status? They serve the porpouse to stabilize the partner bond. Not to say it imposible without one but it generally makes things easyer for both parties involved. Besides that the devices have compass function that points towards other digivice just push the single black side button then the top button twice and then the bottom one. That's the standart more programs can be loaded in time." Doing what they described the divices screen lit up and there were 6 dots.

Seing that the reagion hummed. "Intresting I expected 3 dots one for your frend here and 2 for 1st generation of chosen. Looks like you were not the only new ones to this lately. I will look in to this if this further. If you have nothing else I have to go my time is not unlimited unfortunately."

"Wait one last question. What do these evils want?" Pausing at that dragon grew the most serious it has ever been this entire conversation. "Depends as there are difrent humans there are difrent digimon too. One might want conquest another want destruction or just to watch the world turn in twisted mockery of itself. Be were the last one others while equally bad are not nearly as scaring as 1st generation can swear."

With those parting words the hologram disappeared. And with it the feeling of protection and safety. Flopping down on her sofa I let out a sigh. "Well that was a thing."

"Yeah it was. That was a lot for how little time the intaraction took." Alice said also siting dow. "You think Fabian and Pandora need to appear today? They did say our partners must be confused. We have multiple VR headsets here you know. We can do that right now."

All I gave was a nod. Soon after I was putting on the VR helmet. All I could feel was while logging in was. ..

A feeling of want. I want somthing and this is an opportunity like no other but... The fealing was also vague enough that I did not know what exactly and that bothered me.

Upon finishing the log in I realized that I still was in the mine crossroads. Whatever happened yesterday did not mess with that atleast. A quick at most 5 secound check and the digivice was in my avatars belt accessory slot. Yeah it truly was in the game I had not noticed the thing in the fight.

"Hello Fabian! This was wierd you were gone and I was in a void like allways but everything was wird and difrent and... I missed you it was booring there." For such a seemingly energetic creature the Būmon shure could pull off sad easly.

"Sorry about leaving you there for longer than necessary. What happened yesterday certanly left an inpact." And I felt it too now knowing that he was in some void whenever I wasn't online.

"Yeah... I'm so sory." He looked sader still tears showing in his eyes. "I was stupid you were down and in pain and I tought you tried or somthing! How could I be so dumb! Did not even see the big jerk. What good I am if I can't protect my partner." And it just goes to bad to worse.

"Hornestly. It's not your fault you see I was so late because..." Explaining stuff for him was harder than it would have seemed. Būmon did not have conteklxt for much of what I was trying to convey. In the end he settled on bad mon come to cause to make trouble and our bond makes us strong.

"I want to be stronger." He said with tears gone from his eyes. "I went down after one hit that's not right." Yeah the ever so vague hidden evils won't Waite for us.

"Do you want to become Rookie imediatly?" I said opening my menu intending to go to his digi evolution tree it was close to decision time even I just know 4 of the 7 paths he can take. Before Icoud do that tought I noticed a new letter in my inbox. It was from Holydramon surprisingly enough.

[A small gift to make things bit easyer.] plus an attachment of 2 items. A stuffed plush of Holydramon for some reasion and a big chunk of light exp... I did not even know that was posible.

The light exp unlocked the 5th evolution posibility. Bakimon some tapir digimon with no back legs as there was smoke it had good Int and Sped with penalty on power.

Būmon actualy liked the plush and we started to hash out things with Pandora that had finished her own private moment with Kyubimon nearby. General consensus amongst us was to get Būmon to Digivolve first as danger won't go away quite the oposite likely.

But witch path do we push for? It won't happen imediatly by any means but a clear goal would help imensly.

Now since the holy tapir won I will show what you missed in its entirely because I hope that will show how unconventional/unusual I will get with the line. Granted the winer dosent really have a Evo line averige fan would point to and say this is the path it must go down.

2) Bacomon - - - > Omekamon - - - > Yo!Yo!mon - - - > Puppetmon (My favorite one. I'm quite proud of making as it's entirely toy based and it fits so damn well together in my opinion. Its a crime that none of the pieces actualy connect anywhere as is by canon.)

3) Shortmon - - > Weddinmon - - > Deluxe Weddinmon - - - > Love Weddinmon (The fansrvice/female line. Don't bother searching past the manga exclusive regular obscure as is Weddinmon as those are my original creations. I certanly would not go with Reverse Weddinmon as an option that Mon was really ugly.)

4) Hagurumon - - > Golemon PS - - - > Blikmon - - - > Metamormon (Yeah I know not what one expected at all. I just want to see what I could pul with mimicry ability and likely false sense of security of adding opponents power to its own would likely bring.)

Those that do that method are thankful to get out when the exp is just averige for rookie witch is basicly the top consistent exp for intraining stage." Okay it will be fast but booring. Būmon by the look of it isn't looking forward to that even if he wants to become stronger.

"The risky option is the pvp arena. You gain a set amount of exp after each win and loss. You win? You shoot forward in early game as token exp set to scale for megas, you lose you receive single point of universal exp to mock you. Basicly your success is entirely dependant of matchmaking system. That is unless you are willing to go manual and actualy look for your opponents with greater care but be redy to stake thing then as is tradition."

"Set to scale to megas?" That just seemed ridiculous. Who would ever allow that.

"Did not use to be that way. It's a new bug that cropped up witn newest patch. And the amount tapers off even in mid rookie as by token I really ment token exp by mega standarts. The ability to go on losing streek somewhat but not really balances it out so devs put it on lower priority for this month atleast. Suposedly they are busy with somthing in the background."

Getting back to Hub Town was no issue as we were still enjoying the free Trailmon rides. Even tough the cardmon did stop Pandora foe just a moment and strongly 'sugested' that a digimon storige acesory was preferable as Kyubimon was close to pasager size limit. She did not get it but she did say that she will look in to it.

"Right when we get to Hub you will have some half a hour to familiarize with the queats before I will kick you out." Pandora said nonchalantly from her train seet. As there was a literal bubble where people were not coming close even if they kept looking as us as the car was not crowded and there was space. There was even a small group of 4 in the cack that looked amused with us. I think I even herd one of them murer somthing about newbies.

"Really? Why we have to do so much." That really threw me off.

"Because we allready spent hours trying to contact people before we logged on silly and you need to get home soon. Don't want to get a call from your mother." At that I just let out a sigh. I glances at the in-game clock and yeah it was getting late. Being some chosen her of the relm sadly did not erase social obligations. Atleast tomorow will be the start of the week end.

Getting off I headed to the quest board while Pandora said she was going to try geting storage cube somewhere. I felt uneasy spliting up but realized that the quest board had nothing for her.

There first thing that I did when I arrived was adjust the egg incubator temperature, Then I ran the milk formula or somthing to NPC babie digimon and then it started to but together as I allready started to understand. There were only 5 tasks and I needed to do it again and again as effectintly as posible.

20 minutes in I felt bored enough. To start slacking a bit. Not much but a minute or so of fiddling with the digivice here and there between tasks. All I discovered was some kind of record. There was only 5 entries filled in. A dictionarie descriptions for for Burpmon, Būmon, Renamon, Silver Kyubimon and the bay lvl that hatced from my eg before I messed up and over fed it.

Knowing I will log out soon I just decided to spend some last couple of minutes relaxing. On a bench I saw new players go about their business. One player that caught my eye the most was a woman that looked in her early 20ties. She had brown hair and overall looked out of place in part because most people around were mid to late teens and aslo in part that she was practically vibrating in excitement. A couple of moments later her Yuramon became a Budmon.

Hornestly I could not stop from chuckling at that excitement. I was the same just couple of days ago but you know back the I was greener than now.

Hearing my laugh she looked at me and Būmon. Flushed beat red and looked away from likely emberasment. Soon enough I felt nudged from outside the VR.

Taking it for what it was I quickly logged off. The way back home was short but I still felt bad for Būmon who had to stay in void.

Opening your house door you could allready tell that balancing school, leasure time and the new VR obligations would be hard. Was that how club people feel or was being a chosen hero of a difrent realm more more like a part time job?

I ate my meal with mom as allways and went upstairs. I glanced at my VR set before shaking my head. I skipped it yesterday but I really can't stop interacting with people. Becoming a proverbial shut in from their point of view will just complicate things.

Deciding to take a shower I notice my necklace in mirror. Oh right I forgot about that. Taking out my phone I snap a picture and send the picture with a question about it to the same account Holydramon used before to contact us.

Next morning checking if I had a reply. There was one. [It's a container for a concept. I would recognize it anywhere. It has close to no power without the crest it needs to contain. Don't wory about it too much untill you get your partner to champion atleast.]

That settled that. It's good to have someone to that actualy knows stuff. Granted they were not like one would imagine if their page was anything to go by. Lots of arts and crafts projects on top of suposed development moderator of the game as proudly stated in her profile.

After a bit I was once again in VR and everything went well but boring besides lerning to hate the clean up quest as nothing you did would stick for even 5 minutes.

Then I heard a quiet screem coming from the kindergarten building. Ther actualy wasn't much there so not many players hanged there. There I saw couple 9f hand like things harassing the same woman I saw yesterday. There was no red barrier and her avatar actualy was leaking data or somthing from a cut on her leg. So the were real. Surprisingly Budmon actualy was struggling against them and weren't ignoring them for some reasion even if they were being overwhelmed by them.

Seing that there were only one real option. "Būmon Charge!" And so the pig digimon rushed in tackled one of the the purple hand things away from Budmon giving it some few moments to collect itself.

While they were trying to process the intervention of angry pig I made my way to the woman doing my best to stay out of their way. I somehow made it unscrached. "Use a chip on Budmon it's hurt."

The woman still looking shell shocked just gave a nod and took out one of the aniversity universal chips. As it disappeared the plant digimon was looking mutch better better.

"Feeling better Gwen!" Budmon exclaimed and took the guard position between me and the now named Gwen and the fight between Būmon and hand things. Tought it did not mean it was idle it was making it hard for them to get away from my partner with 'Acid bubbles' and From time to time trying to snip one with 'Poision thorns'.

As for Būmon... He is doing just fine. He is particularly dominating thanks to the added support. The fight wasn't going to last and indeed it was rapidly winding down. The the last remaining oponent just let out a stream of bubble from its eye but this time there was a desperation there and as such it was a lot more powerpufull. It got trough Budmon counter bibles tistime. Both I and Gwen took some of the attack. Thankfully now her full power thanks to Budmon efforts.

Seing this Budmon rushed to her as Būmon finally finished the Las tone remaining. "Are you okay? Do I need to get a doctor? Or maybe a surgeon?" Asked the plant.

"No I'm fine just let me sit for a bit." Was her relpy. Just falling down on her but she let out a unlady like sigh of relief. The she remembered that I was here.

"Thank you for your help. I had no idea the battles would be so intense in this game. They looked so difrent in the trailer." She gave me a weak smile.

"This is not what you should expect. This was a special circumstance I doubt this will hapen again." Was my weak explanation. I had no other answer as them being real digimon sounded crazy.

"So like a bug?" Then she opened her inventory and took out a familiar sight of a digivice tought it was green with pink pattern. I almost choked on my stpit seing that.

"Hmm? Whats wrong?" Seing my reaction she enquired.

"No for real it makes us heroes. We have been sele..." I cut myself off as I realized how crazy I sounded. "Look just log off and back in. This is for real and the cut on your leg will be there in real life same as the aches do to bubbles."

"Young man I don't think your idea of a joke is very funny." She now looked a bit iritated any good will of helping her out draining steadily.

"Just do it please." Was all I could do. She stared at me for couple of minutes.

"Okay fine just to show that it's imposible." And with that she disappeared. It took 10 minutes but she showed up again.

"How... I actualy still felt it all outside of the game. I don't think I will be returning here if injuries cary over. Was nice to meet you" Hearing this my wory spiked. I grabbed her by the shoulder and she was about to object but I spoke.

"I know I sucked at explaining but I know who can do it better. Just let them explain." It was clear that she wanted to argue but then just sighed and nodded.
