First time with Carmilla, and visiting the Orphanage with Kya-Pet.

After lunch, we bring out Kya and bathe her in the garden. Well, she's a pet, so this is perfectly normal in anyone's eyes, but we can't help but feel quite excited while giving our sumptuously curvy, soft winged princess a bath in the open.

“Spread your thighs a bit more.”
“Yes, Master.” - she dutifully does so, placing her feet further apart on the floor as she leans forth against the egg-shaped boulder at the center of our stone garden.

Well, with the carefully arranged, round river stones in circles around the central boulder, this spot has no grass or dirt, plus has excellent draining. It is a naturally excellent spot to bathe our cute pets.

Once we've rubbed her squeaky clean... what? Why didn't we use [Clean]? Don't be silly, skinship is very important when rearing a good, sociable pet, you know? We have to give our cute pets lots and lots of skinship, you understand. This is being a responsible pet owner. Anyway, once we've washed, leathered, rubbed and rinsed every bit of our tall, curvy winged blonde, we do it once more to make sure she's perfectly clean (and for skinship's sake), then dry her up with a large, fluffy towel.

By the way, we keep specific towels for each of our pets. Again, that's just pet care.

“Alright, we are visiting the orphanage now, Kya.” - we explain once we are done drying her off

Why don't we let her do it? Don't be silly, where have you seen a pet bathe and dry herself. It is obviously the master's privi- I mean, job. Responsibility. That's us, a responsible pet owner.

“Ah, that is nice. Thank you Master.” - she replies with a smile as we finish drying her face and get started on her hair

Just so you know, while many pets have fur, there's plenty that have hair. This was truth even back in our previous world, where several dog breeds had hair instead of fur. What is the difference? Well, fur grows up to a certain length, while hair keeps growing unless you trim it. It is also a lot more delicate, but it can also look a lot more lustrous and is generally softer. It also needs special care tools.

Hm. We've somehow learnt a lot about female hair care in the last four years. For some reason.

That reminds us, since we're going to Albion, we should probably bring some gifts for our cute younger siblings. Some hair brushed for our sisters, and a traditional Mantequira toy for our brothers would be nice.

Ah, but there's a huge variety of health products in the Mantequira market. As expected from an ancient matriarchy. Let's also bring back some creams and makeup for our moms. Dad? What about him?

“And have this dress.” - we hand her a soft sundress
“Yes?” - she holds it
“Put it on.”
“Oh, yes Master.”

So, you're already at the point where you need to be told to wear clothes? Well, its not a bad sight at all... yeah, its not a bad thing. Probably.

The intention is to get the kids used to thinking of Pets as being able to talk and be useful beyond just as combat drones.
