Saiyans. Were you to travel the stars, doubtlessly tales of that mighty warrior race would reach your ears. Some speak of them with awe and wonder, marveling at their power and aspiring to become like them. Others speak in hushed tones, of the fear and despair in facing them in battle. But one thing all agree on, is that standing against the might of the Saiyan race spells certain doom. Many have tried, several going as far as to invade the Saiyan’s homeworld of New Salda. Yet every invasion has failed, defeated by the Saiyans and their most powerful warriors: the golden-haired Super Saiyans, and the green-haired legend who leads them.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, a story told of an alternate timeline in the Dragonball world. Currently we are in Age 748, this timeline having veered irreversibly off it’s natural course. You the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a powerlevel of only 2,830 and destined to die before Freeza destroyed Planet Vegeta. Throughout your adventures the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of the Saiyan race’s might, and even befriending the Emperor Freeza. Now, as a PTO general with a powerlevel of 19,750,000, Karn has become a living symbol of the PTO’s power.

Character Sheet, powerlevels, and other pastebins can be found at:

Quest rules are as follows:
>20 minute voting windows
>pick ONE option when voting, unless otherwise noted
>Dice rolls are all best of three, only correctly rolled dice pools count
>Crits are 100 on a d100(a 99 or paired rolls may net you an extra bonus)
>Crit fails will count -only- if no roll passes the DC, or if two different 1s are rolled.
>Two 1s will OVERRIDE even a critical success, resulting in a catastrophic crit failure
>Write-ins are both allowed and encouraged.
That said, they can and will be shut down if too out of character/metagamey. With over 100 episodes behind us, Karn now has a well-established character
>All rules stand as-written, unless otherwise noted
>I can change any of the above rules at any time for any or no reason
>Have fun

Our quest will usually start every Saturday at noon Eastern Standard Time, and run throughout the weekend. Also, for updates or schedule changes can find me on twitter @GrandDragonQM which I try and keep as up-to-date as possible

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After Chilli and Megumin’s combined power incapacitated the mobile fortress Destroyer, Chilli and Hyoizaburoo, Megumin’s father, prevented the core from exploding then the young explosion mage obliterated the disables fortress. But upon returning to the Crimson Demon village they discovered it was being attacked by an army of the undead. Leaving Chilli and Megumin to defend the village Karn tracked down the source, obliterating hundreds of thousands of skeletal warriors before defeating the Usurper, who’d taken their Undying King hostage. Job done Karn’d returned to the village via Instant Transmission, just in time to see the undead fleeing and catching his son. But as we rejoin Karn, Megumin has just brought her mother forward to heal Chilli’s wounds.

“Basedou must be Karn.” the woman Megumin almost dragged over to you says. “My daughter here has told me much about you, and your son here. Set him down, and I'll mend his wounds."
“Of course, thank you.” you say, laying him down. She reaches out with both hands, placing them right on his bleeding chest. Several magical circles similar to her daughter’s spring up around the four of you, her hands glowing with crimson energy.

“I am Yuiyui: dutiful wife of Hyoizaburoo, mother of Megumin and Yuiyui, former adventurer and premire archmage of the Crimson Demons!” she chants in a style similar to Megumin. Does everyone around here talk like this? “For this young man‘s life I beseech thee; combine him with my deep crimson, and let this youth be revived! Sanguine Restoration!”

You watch as his body begins glowing crimson, each of his wounds magically stitching themselves closed. But not only that, all of his blood moving from his clothes and the ground back inside his body. After almost a minute the glow begins to fade, your son’s eyes opening in confusion.

“Megumi-Wait, who’re you?” he asks, still sounding a bit disoriented. But as he tries to sit up, Megumin tackles him. And caught off-guard, she knocks him flat on his back. “Ah!”
“CHILLI!” she shouts, voice trembling as she hugs him. “You asshole. Don’t you worry me like that again, I thought you were gonna die! Jumping into the middle of them like that, what the hell were you thinking?!”
“Good to see you’re okay.” he says, Yuiyui smiling and rising to her feet. She then turns to face you, your instincts warning you that she’s dangerous. Having seen what Megumin can do, and the seeming ease she just saved your son from the brink of death, you don’t doubt that she would be a terrifying opponent. She walks right up to you, giving the two of them some privacy as the two of you speak.

“My daughter has told me much of you, General Karn.” she says, sounding genuinely impressed at your rank. You notice that her clothing is well-worn, showing signs of age and patched in many places like both her husband’s and younger daughter’s clothes. “That while in your home, on your planet she can eat as much as she wants, and is free.”
“Well, it’s not my world.” you say, correcting her. But after a moment’s thought continue. “Well, I mean I have become the planet’s champion, but-“
“Wait. You’re it’s champion?” she asks, genuinely surprised. “Your planet actually chose you? How?”
“Well...” you start, remembering the siege. Then you remember what you’re headed into soon, smirking a bit to yourself. “Yeah. New Salda was in trouble, and the Covenant were going to destroy everything. So she gave me the power I needed at the time to fight back.”

“I see.” she says, you both turning as Chilli and Megumin finally rise off the ground. Only to be met by that other girl, Yunyun, who’s sobbing like only someone who’s survived their first serious battle can. She then turns back to you, a more serious expression on her face. “I’ve learned much about how your people’s empire, this ‘PTO’ operates. We’re a simple people, who have no desire to go to war or exterminate other peoples. You have taken great care of Megumin, and for that I’m in your debt. But please. Leave our world alone.”

Well? What do you say to that?
>Of course, I’ll do whatever I can to make sure your world is left alone
>I will talk with Lord Freeza, and try my best to convince him to leave you all alone.

I wonder if we could convince Frieza to let them stay neutral if we work out a trade agreement. Something like training PTO soldiers with magical aptitude in the arcane arts in exchange for not being occupied.

“Of course. I’ll do whatever I can to make sure your world is left alone.” you reply, with only a moment’s hesitation. “That said, you guys have flown under the galactic radar so far. If I make a few requests to Lord Freeza regarding your world, you all should be fine. Plus we don’t take slaves, like Vox presumably took your daughter, so being under our protection should keep outside forces at bay.”
“Thank you, General Karn.” she says, bowing deeply. But before she can say anything else to you, Hyoizaburoo and Komekko land beside you all.
“MOOOOOOOOM!!” the young girl cries, running as fast as she can to Yuiyui. Meloka’s mother reaches down and picks up the young girl, hugging her close and comforting her as she cries. “I missed you!”

“I missed you too.” she comforts her child, you turning to the older man as he walks up to you. But he doesn’t say anything at first, turning and looking to Megumin, Chilli, and the other girl Yunyun.
“You should be proud.” he says, not looking to you. “Your son is quite powerful, his spell craft is already on par with most of the older arch wizards here. To say nothing of his physical abilities. And now between his heroism, and whatever you did, our village has been saved. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” you say, watching as someone approaches your son. An older man sporting an impressive mustache, as soon as your son notices him he begins his introduction.

“My name is Hiropon! The chief of this village, and he who leads the Crimson Demons!” he shouts, eyes blazing crimson. But before he can say anything else, Chilli begins.
“My name is Chilli!” he shouts, striking several poses like their chief despite his clear exhaustion. “Super Saiyan, and strongest mage amongst the Saiyan race!”
“Well well, this is a first!” he replies with a hearty chuckle. “No outsider has ever properly returned a greeting before! I must thank you for stepping up and saving out village! Both you, and the man behind you who’s clearly your father! You are heroes, and as such, a feast is in order! To celebrate victory, and those who saved us!”

As he makes this declaration several villagers cheer, even as a burning building behind him collapses. From how little he, and those around you all seem to care, buildings must get knocked down around here all the time. Considering the firepower you saw them wielding against the undead, that seems a fair guess.

But what do you do?

“I appreciate the offer, but I must decline.” you tell him, taking a step over to Chilli and laying a hand on his shoulder. “This is your win, stay and enjoy it. Just remember to come back before we leave, alright?”
“Don’t worry, I won’t miss it.” he says with a yawn. “We still have at least a few months to go, right?”
“At least.” you tell him, then turn to his friend Yunyun. “Mind making me a portal back?”
“Oh! O-Of course!” she says, pressing her hands flat together. After a few seconds her hands radiate with golden magical energy, and as she throws them apart tears a path for you. A golden-lined hole appears in the space before her, the girl sighing out. “I can only hold it open a few seconds, hurry!”

“Got it.” you hear Raven from the other side, seeing her magic take hold. Instead of shrinking the portal’s edges widen out, forming into a smooth circle held open by New Salda’s Guardian. You see Raven from the other side, still meditating but holding a single hand out at the pathway. You say your farewell to the Crimson Demons, stepping through and returning to your own world. She looks to you questioningly, you reaching out telepathically.
“He’s staying there for now, they’re throwing a party for him.” you think to her, Raven letting the portal shut. Once it closes you speak up, finding yourselves alone on her island. “Everything ok here?”
“Yes. Although...” she replies, opening a new portal. Looking through you find yourself looking down on Vegeta’s fortress of a palace, and seeing a familiar military force. “We have guests.”

“Huh, guess they’re here now.” you mutter, watching the Tamaranean Ambassador Turles and King Vegeta clasping forearms. “A little early, but it’s good they’re here.”
“You going over to meet them?” Raven asks you, closing the portal. “Or will you wait until after their meeting with Vegeta?”

Well?

“Well, it’d be rude not to at least go say hello.” you say, placing the first two fingers of your right hand to your forehead. “Thanks.”
“Of course, anytime.” she says, you focusing on your wife’s ki and then teleporting. One moment you’re on the beach, the next you’re standing beside your wife in the city. Vegeta and Turles stand before you, an unfamiliar orange-haired girl is standing near them with, wait: is that a tail?

“Waaaah!” she shouts, pointing at you and screaming. “A ghost!”
“Well well, look who made it.” Turles says with a smirk, ending his shake with Vegeta then walking to you. You clasp his arm, both nodding to each other before he turns to the kid. “Ticho, come over and say hello. This is my friend I told you about, remember? Karn?”
“Woaaaah! You’re Karn?” she asks, rushing over without any hint of her previous fright. “So cool! You’re really big mister Karn!”
“Thank you.” you say to the little girl. “Are you Ticho?”
“Oooooooh! You know my name!” she says, eyes sparkling in wonder. Taking a moment you focus your ki sense, feeling them all out. Ticho, who is by far the weakest, has a powerlevel that’s at least a hundred thousand. Turles’ strength has grown significantly, but in his base form he’s easily overshadowed by Komand’r and almost all of the Tamaranean warriors. Speaking of, the Tamaranean princess strides forward, resting a hand on the child’s head. “Did you hear that Momma? He knows my name!”

Wait, Momma? That orange-haired, Saiyan-tailed girl is hers? Then that would mean that she and Turles have-

“Of course, Precious.” she says, patting her girl’s head and smiling at her before turning her gaze to you. “Well, well, well. Been a long time, Karn.”
“It has, Princess Komand’r.” you reply easily. She seems different than you remember, far more secure and aloof, and less wild in the eyes. Doubtlessly from having a kid. “So, what’s new?”
“Oh, you know how raising a little one can be.” she says to you, then Meloka. “Don’t we?”
“Of course.” your wife replies, walking up beside you. This confuses little Ticho, who looks back and forth between you and Meloka several times. “You seem to be doing rather well. Your daughter’s quite something.”
“Thank you.” she replies, the two not glaring at each other like you’d remembered them doing either. “And is this one of yours as well?”

You turn, having not seen any of your kids here. You see Tunnip standing behind Meloka with her hands on a young girl’s shoulders, the child probably not much older than Ticho.

“Go on, introduce yourself.” Tunnip urges, the young Saiyan girl stepping forward nervously.
“H-Hello.” she says with a timid wave. “M-My name’s Parsla.”
“Hi! I’m Ticho!” Komand’r and Turles’ daughter says, rushing over and hugging her with zero hesitation. “I have an idea! Do you wanna be friends?”
“Friends?” the timid girl says, shocked. That wasn’t quite the reaction you’d expected, turning and seeing Turles, Komand’r, and Vegeta already discussing something between the three of them. “D-Do you really mean it?”

While you see the two kids talking, an idea comes to mind! Focusing, you telepathically reach out to Caulifla, and quickly explain the situation to her.

“Sure, I’ll be right there.” she replies, you feeling her energy swiftly quickly closing in. That done, you return your attention to the new arrivals, Turles and Komand’r now speaking with Vegeta naturally. Whatever they were discussing quietly between themselves, you’d missed it. Now they’re talking about things like supplies, and where they’ll stay during the few months left before the offensive truly begins. But as they’re talking about all that, you shift your focus, reaching out to Freeza. You let him know what happened with Megumin’s people, and your promise for them to be left alone. To which he replies that Chilli’d already asksd him a few months ago.

“Yes, your boy has already asked me for their world to be left alone.” Freeza thinks to you, you feeling his amusement through the link. “And I’d already told your boy I would. In fact, it should be updated across our star maps any day now that their world is off-limits.”
“Thanks Freeza.” you reply gratefully, then ask. “Need a hand with anything?”
“All I need from you now Karn is to be ready.” Freeza replies. “Arctus has sent word on the Lucrehulk’s progress. He says it should be finished within the next three months, then another four before his arrival with it. The time of our vengeance soon approaches.”
“Good.” you reply to him, popping your knuckles in anticipation. “I’ve been waiting for this.”

“Hey, Karn.” Turles says, you telling Freeza you gotta go then focusing on your old friend before you. “I’ve gotten a lot stronger since I became the ambassador. Sparring with Komand’r and her sister, as well as their elite soldiers, I’ve gotten a whole lot stronger. Want to see for yourself?”
“Heh, of course.” you reply witha smirk. “But let’s not do it here. We should go-“

“-over to the arena. We can fight it out like old times.”
“Hmph, if you want me to embarrass you in front of an audience, be my guest.” he replies tauntingly. “Let’s go.”
“Alright.” you reply, turning to Caulifla, Ticho, and Parsla. “We’re off to the arena, if you need something we’ll be there.”
“Have fun Daddy! Good luck mister Karn!” Ticho says, turning and waving at you both. You and Turles lift into the air, taking off towards the arena. He follows close behind, you both stopping over the arena.

“Hey, it looks like there’s a fight already going on.” he says, and sure enough you see a match already ongoing. Two kids, somewhere around Chaya’s age are throwing exhausted blows at each other. “Well, not for much longer.”
“It looks like they’ve been going at it awhile.” you reply, and as soon as you say that one girl knocks the other down with a solid right hook to the jaw. Before the downed girl can get back up her opponent pounces, landing on top of her and unleashing several vicious strikes to her stunned face before someone stops it. “Not bad.”
“Shall we go?” he asks, you nodding and the two of you drop from the air to land in the arena. The ‘referee’ for the match lifts the battered fighter back to her feet, declaring the winner by raising her arm. The dozen or so audience members cheer, the noise picking up when they see you and Turles land.

“Karn?” the Saiyan woman asks, one of the beaten girls’ friends coming down to carry her to a healing pod while the other limps off proudly. “And...Turles? When’d you get back?”
“Oh, hey Kabuya.” he replies casually, stretching his shoulders out. “Mind reffing a match for us?”
“Wait, you two are going to go at it?” she asks, the few audience members roaring even louder. You nod, the woman smirking and clenching her fists. “Alright then, guess I’ll need to be able to keep up! HAAAAA!”

As she shouts her aura flares up golden around her, transforming into a Super Saiyan.

“Alright boys, take your stances!” she shouts, you leaping back from him and dropping into your stance. Turles shouts, transforming into an Ascended Super Saiyan with a burst of sparks. But he doesn’t stop there, roaring wildly as his power continues to rise.

“GRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!” Turles bellows, muscles growing rapidly. The entire planet begins to tremble, powerlevel growing to well over a billion. You’re impressed by his progress, with only the Tamaraneans to spar with he’s managed to push himself almost as far as Meloka has, transformation-wise. “So you’ll fight like they do, huh?” you ask, clenching your fists down by your sides. Your own aura blasts up around you, it shifting to green as you transform. Not into your full Berserker form, just a Super Saiyan. But after your time spent mastering the Berserker form, that power has bled into your normal Super Saiyan state, changing it. Instead of the usual gold, both your aura and hair are green, as well as raising your power far higher than an ordinary Super Saiyan’s. This power is the one written about in ancient Saiyan legends, from the time before your people landed on Planet Vegeta. The true strength of the Legendary Super Saiyan.

“HAAAA!!” you roar, launching yourself off the ground. You close the dozens of feet instantly, swinging for his head with a powerful right. Turles ducks the strike, narrowly dodging it while swinging up at your gut with a strong left elbow. Before it can strike you, you bring your right leg up and block it with your right shin. His attack hits with a surprisingly powerful impact, but before the shockwave can knock you back you spin, kicking for his head with your left. Unable to dodge the strike he blocks with his right arm, the blow knocking him back as well. You use the momentum to flip backwards to your feet, launching yourself right back at him.

“Take this!” Turles shouts as he slides to a stop, firing a storm of dark ki blasts from his open left hand. You weave between the powerful blasts, several almost striking you before you’ve closed the distance. He’s forced to end the attack, going on the defensive. You land a solid left blow to his crossed arms, Turles managing to withstand the attack. You follow up the strike with a powerful right uppercut, catching his guard and throwing his arms up and leaving him wide-open. And before he can block you lift your right knee, delivering a powerful side kick to his gut. “Guh!”

“Got you now!” you shout, hitting him with a sharp left jab and right uppercut to his chin, then a spinning left elbow to the side of his head. The last blow staggers your childhood friend, you not giving him any time to recover and launching into a powerful Djem So barrage. While not as fast as a Su Ma, or even as fast as just wildly swinging, each blow is measured for maximum impact. Jab to the nose, uppercut to the gut, hook to the ribs, each blow is targeted for maximum effect. After a dozen or so strikes lands Turles finally regains his senses, roaring out and letting loose an Explosive Wave.

“Haaa, haaaa, damn.” he replies, wiping the blood off his chin with the back of his left hand. “New fighting style, huh? Where’d you pick this one up from?”
“Learned it from an old man.” you reply, retaking your fighting stance. “So is this all you got?”
“Like hell it is!” he shouts, aura once more surging around him. “I’m just getting warmed up!”

“Alright then, show me what you’ve got!” you shout, raising your power even higher to match his. Not enough to Ascend, but just enough to match his still-growing power. With a roar Turles launches himself forward, you deciding to show him that form’s biggest weakness. You’d learned long ago that the Ultra Super Saiyan form, despite boasting incredible power, has serious shortcomings. Most notably in speed, as unlike with your Berserker form the large, bulging muscles severely slow the body down. Which isn’t a problem, if you’re hanging back and blasting an opponent with your powerfully-boosted ki. But charging headlong at an opponent who knows this, well, you’re about to show him just how badly that can go.

“HRRAAAA!” Turles shouts, swinging his left fist at you in a powerful backfist then following it up with a right jab. You step back, dodging the first strike easily. Then as his slowed jab comes at your face you twist, grabbing his arm and slamming him into the ground. “KAH?”
“Too slow!” you taunt, leaping back as Turles doesn’t even bother standing, blasting right off after you. He spins, flipping around into a right turning kick aimed at your head. But again he’s too slow, you leaning back and letting his booted foot pass you by harmlessly. He doesn’t stop, twisting around into a left elbow then right hook, then unleashing a barrage of powerful, world-breaking blows at you. But not one hits you. Despite being a close match in this form for you, power-wise, his speed is sorely lacking. After evading several dozen attacks without taking a single hit, Turles is clearly frustrated. So you decide to taunt him a little bit, having a bit of fun at his expense. “Come on Turles, are you even trying?”

“HRRRYAAAA!” he roars, gathering his ki around his right fist as he swings it in a wild hook. You lean back, knowing his strike won’t hit you, until suddenly it does! The ki leaps from his hand as his fist misses, wrapping around your upper body and locking your arms by your sides.
“Wait, what?” you say, trying to break free. But the energy binding you is like some sort of super-adhesive, you barely budging it before it pulls your arms back right to your side. Before you can say anything else, his left fist slams into your gut. “GYAH!”

The hit is far more powerful than you were expecting, almost as if the energy trapping you enhanced his strike!

“That’s what you get for getting cocky.” he replies, your friend’s chest heaving. Turles then lands a half-dozen heavy blows with his left fist, right still shrouded in more of that same glowing energy. Each strike lands with almost bone-breaking force, you feeling your ribs groan with each hit. “Did you really think I didn’t know this form’s weaknesses?”
cont
>>
“Heh, you sure got me.” you reply, focusing your ki behind your eyes. He sees this and leaps back, blocking his face with his left, but that’s not your target. You fire your Eye Beams, the twin attacks piercing the energy shrouding Turles’ right hand. That energy fades, both around his fist and around you letting you go. You leap back away from him, taking your stance as he lands several dozen feet from you. “That was an impressive technique.”
“Thanks.” he replies, once more assuming his fighting stance too. “Haven’t thought up a good name for it yet, but something will come to me eventually. Ready to keep going, or do you need longer to catch your breath?”
“You’re the one stalling because you’re tired.” you reply, both staring each other down.

>>
>>4218541
After we've actually mastered Berserk and gotten a handle on Ascended Beserk, then we can focus on base power level again.
Right now our stamina and lack of fine energy control are our big weak points, and for the moment our base powerlevel is good enough.
>>
>>4218547
Not by much though, a good chunk of our issue is the fact we now have at least 4 people stronger than us. Considering we will be on the front line, against a warrior culture with Stand users on top of that. Those thing make our trump card real fucking risky, which is why a base power level increase would be good for the mind.

As Turles tries to catch his breath, doubtlessly hoping that last attack would have put enough of a hurt on you to even the playing field, you do give him a few moments’ respite. Instead of rushing back in immediately, you reach over your left shoulder and pull your hammer free. The Covenant Gravity Hammer you’d taken from a Jiralhanae chieftain during the Siege of New Salda isn’t your average version of the weapon. It can survive the force you put behind a swing, and so you’d kept it. As you draw your weapon you see Turles’s eyes widen, clearly not expecting you to use it.

“Alright, let’s try this!” you shout, dashing foward at him. But instead of closing in immediately and swinging for him you take to the air, hefting the weapon overhead then blasting downward. “HRRAAAAAAAA!!”
“RRRAAAAA!” he shouts, flaring his aura up as he tries to block your attack. Crossing his bulked-up arms before him your hammer strikes them square, the powerful shockwave blasting out in all directions. He manages to withstand your hit, barely, the arena shattering beneath his feet. But you don’t stop there, flipping up and over his head then spinning. Before he can turn to face you, much less block, you swing the hammer into his now-exposed side. Once more the shockwave blasts out upon impact, that combined with the force of your swing sends Turles flying. You launch your bulked-up friend into the air, but before he can fly too far you launch yourself after him. He doesn’t even see you coming, clutching his side in pain as you close in.

“GOT YOU!” you shout, spinning into a front flip then slamming your hammer square into his chest.
“GYAAAH!” he cries out, your downward swing sending him crashing down into the ground, outside the arena.
“That’s it, Turles is out of bounds!” Kabuya shouts, the audience roaring. You sigh out, looking around and seening several dozen people now cheering. “Karn is the winner!”

Ignoring them you leap down, offering a hand to Turles.

“Heh, you got me.” he replies, reverting back to his base form as he takes your hand. You revert as well, hauling him back upright. He then pulls his armor off, hissing in pain as he takes it off then inspects the damage. “Damn. This old piece didn’t stand a chance.”
“The ol’ armorer’s gotten tougher stuff in, in preparation for the war.” you tell him, Turles tossing the busted armor aside. “Go give him a visit, he’ll get you hooked up.”
“Sounds good.” he replies, you showing him the way then waving goodbye. After the arrival of Turles and the Tamaraneans, life returned to normal. At least, as normal as preparing for a war gets.
>>
>>4218580
You get back to your training the day after their arrival, constantly maintaining your Berserker form as you go about your day. Pushing your body’s limits, you fire off your energy attacks until you can barely stand, then keep going even further beyond that. Days turn to weeks, then months as you continue pushing yourself to higher heights. And as you train, maintaining your Berserker form, surprisingly your powerlevel continues to grow. At first you think it’s from the strain of holding your Berserker form, but that doesn’t make sense. Not by itself. But perhaps your training of using everything you’ve got, then still forcing your body to maintain the enhanced state has forced your body to grow? Either way, after four more months of training, you’re stepping out of the shower and are curious about your powerlevel. So reverting back to your base form for a moment, the first time you’d done so since Turles’s arrival, you scan your own powerlevel.

“Finally broke twenty million.” you mutter to yourself, about to turn the scouter off. But before you do, something catches your eye. You see Meloka’s powerlevel reading it’s usual error, as her Super Saiyan 3 form’s power is well outside what it can handle. But it’s the second powerlevel, radiating at somewhere around a hundred thousand also reading from her. Your eyes widen in surprise, Meloka turning to you confused.
“Karn?” she asks, seeing the expression on your face. “Hun? Something wrong?”

“Wrong?” no, not wrong.” you say with a smile, deactivating the scouter and walking over to her, placing a hand on her stomach. Her own eyes widen in surprise, realizing what you mean almost immediately. She reaches down as well, a smile coming to her face as she seems to sense the new life growing inside her. Without hesitation you both get dressed, you returning to your Berserker form as you both rush to the hospital. In a few minutes she’s on the table before the same doctor who’d inspected her before, you watching him studying her through several filters.

“Hrmm, I see.” he says after a moment, the device powering down. “It seems that both of you being in your transformed states has facilitated the growth of the infant into a state that can withstand the surges of power throughout your body, Meloka. I must say this is quite unprecedented, I’d like to keep monitoring you and the child until it’s born.”
“Of course.” she replies, rising off the table and once more donning her gi. “Just let me know how often you want me to stop by, and I’ll be here.”
“Thanks doc.” you tell him, the two of you leaving. Meloka turns to you, the excitement clear on her face.
“It’s finally happening!” she says, barely restrained joy on her face. “It, I mean I-!”
“I know.” you say, gently hugging her to you. “We’ve been waiting long enough for this.”

“Seems someone gotten some good news.” an unfamiliar voice says, you both turning to the voice. You both see the source at once, a hooded figure radiating with menace as soon as you see it. “Unfortunately for you, today’s not your lucky day.”

“Who’re you?” you demand, stepping forward angrily as the cloaked form blows out a cloud of smoke. “Who do you work for, that damn kai? Or another Towa? Answer me.”
“Listen, you there. Woman.” he says, towards Meloka and not even acknowledging you yet. “Stand back. I’m not getting paid for you, and I don’t want you getting killed by accident on my conscious, got it?”
“I’m not sure who you think I am.” she says, clenching her fists and letting her golden aura explode out around her. “But there’s no way I’ll let you hurt my husband!”
“Cute.” he says, lifting his left hand out of his cloak. As he does, your instincts warn you to move, something’s coming! “Dark Magic: Dark Cocoon!”

“Magic? Shit!” you think to yourself. Darkness shoots out from his hand, you leaping aside as far as you can in the halls of the hospital. Meloka tries to dash backwards but the darkness catches her, almost immediately. You watch, stunned, as she’s swallowed up by a sphere of shadows, it floating over behind him as the assailant looks over at you.
“Behind you!” he shouts, whipping his cloak off. You see an older, grizzled man with a sword, dressed in a simple sleeveless shirt and pants, clutching the scabbard in one hand and the hilt in another. Is he trying to distract you? Or was that a real warning? Suddenly you feel his ki surging, this man radiating with raw power. Your instincts warn you that he’s dangerous, but he isn’t the most pressing threat. “Now!” you shout at him, right hand going to your forehead. You focus on this stranger’s ki, watching as he draws his sword with a shout.
“Dark Magic: Dark Slash!” he roars, a blade of magic similar to your Death Slash leaps from his blade. But you don’t stick around to see how powerful that attack is first-hand, using your Instant Transmission to teleport behind the swordsman. His blade of darkness flies past where you were just standing, slamming into-wait, isn’t that Cooler? And why is he made of metal?
“What?” this Metal Cooler says, his body sliced cleanly in two by the swordsman’s magic. But before it’s severed torso can fall, metal tendrils shoot out between them, pulling both halves together.

“Move!” the swordsman shouts, dashing the opposite direction. You take off after him, the two of you leaping from a window and landing on the street below. As late in the evening as it is, there are almost no people out to get caught in the crossfire. “That won’t put him down, just slow him a bit. Keep your eyes open.”
“Hey, you gotta let Meloka out of there.” you say, aura flaring up. “She’s a sitting duck in that ball, give her a fighting chance!”
“Tsk, whatever.” he says, the dark cocoon still floating behind him opening up. Meloka explodes out with a vengeance, spinning and swinging wildly with her twin blades before landing between you and the swordsman. “We’ve got company.”
“Huh?” Meloka asks, but is answered immediately when a half-dozen metal Coolers suddenly appear, surrounding you all. The three of you all move back-to-back, ready for a fight.

“The Big Gete Star allowed me to cheat death.” they all say as one. “And now I’ll have my revenge, Saiyans!”
“Jeeze, what did you do to piss this guy off?” the swordsman says, surprisingly taking the opening Djem So stance, sword held overhead at the ready. “You owe him a gambling debt or somethin’?”
“I dunno.” you reply, Meloka conjuring her Warding Eyes around her as you take your own stance.

“Meloka, get him out of here.” you mutter, clenching your fists. “These things can rebuild themselves.”
“Got it!” she shouts, grabbing the swordsman by his tattered mantle and launching herself skyward. The metal Coolers all lunge forward as you cross your arms, then with a primal roar unleash your power.
“GRRRAAAAA!!” you shout, energy exploding out from you in all directions. Despite unleashing a tremendous amount of ki, you focus it into a small area. You don’t want to destroy the city, after all, keeping your explosive burst of energy just to the street you’re on. Several of the Coolers shout out, voices cutting off as they’re destroyed. As you end the attack, upon inspecting the damage realize you’d gotten half of them. The other three are all damaged but still standing, two regrowing their arms while the third is repairing it’s head and upper body.

“Dark Magic: Black Hole!” the swordsman shouts, you seeing a point of absolute darkness appearing above the three of them. You watch as space distorts, the three metal clones all getting sucked into the void. You feel it pulling you as well, you sliding a foot or so towards it before the hole vanishes. You turn to him as Meloka and he both land, the man still holding onto his blade. “Good grief, I hate regenerators.”
“Who are you?” you ask, the magic swordsman turning fully to you.
“Name’s Yami.” he says, eyes narrowing as he then turns. You and Meloka follow his gaze, seeing another dozen or so ki-less figures walking down the street towards you all. “C’mon, we gotta go.”
“Go where?” you ask him, turning and seeing another dozen approaching from the opposite direction. “We’re surrounded.”

“You gotta be kiddin’ me!” he says angrily, clutching his sword in both hands as his own ki spikes. He then yells into the air, “What’s takin’ so long, huh? Hurry it up!”
“Huh?-Shit!” you ask then shout, several Death Beams firing at you. Activating your Barrier the attacks are absorbed harmlessly, the piercing attacks unable to penetrate your defenses. After a moment their attacks end, a half-dozen from each side all rushing forward towards the three of you.

What now?
>Stand your ground and defend, this is your world after all

“We’ve gotta get out of the city.” you say, glancing over your shoulder to see both Meloka and Yami nodding. As soon as you get that visual confirmation you move, blasting straight into the air. Meloka follows you, the swordsman simply leaping up to a nearby rooftop. Seems he can’t fly. But the Coolers can, two dozen mechanical terrors chasing you down. Using your ki sense you find the fastest way away from the Saiyans below then take off, taunting them. “This way you walking scrap heaps!”

“Die!” one shouts, it using Instant Transmission to suddenly appear right in front of you. Your eyes widen in surprise as it thrusts it’s right hand at you and unleashes a powerful energy wave. Spinning clockwise around the blast you narrowly avoid it, gathering ki into your left hand then thrusting an Energy Javelin right into it’s chest. “Wha-?!”
“No you!” you reply, letting go of the spear and kicking the metal Cooler away. It flies backwards several feet before exploding, your javelin’s blast obliterating it’s entire upper body. But you don’t stop there, turning back and blasting off away from the Cooler squad. Meloka’s right on your tail, you landing in a clearing just outside the city. As you both touch down several of the Coolers appear, three attacking you all at once. One attacks from each side, you blocking a kick with your left arm and a punch from your right. But this leaves you wide open, the third instantly closing the distance and slamming a fist into your gut. The power difference is surprisingly staggering, you barely feeling the punch. That is, until it fires a powerful blast of energy from it’s hand that sends you flying. “GAAAH!”

“KARN!!” you hear Meloka shout, reaching out to her telepathically.
“I’m fine, it just caught me by surprise.” you tell her, stopping your flight. Another Cooler is right there, trying to punch your eyes, but before it can you counterpunch. Your fist smashes into it’s metal skull, breaking its metal neck and forcing it’s head down into the torso. You then grab it by the arm, using your improvised flail to knock the next two that charge away before throwing it after them, followed closely by another Energy Javelin. Your spear impales the three downed Coolers, detonating in a blast that turns the three to spare parts. Threat handled you turn to Meloka, seeing her cutting her foes to ribbons. But that moment of distraction is all a Cooler needs, appearing right in front of you and swinging.
cont
>>
>>4220207
“HAAAA!” it roars, launching into a full-body uppercut meant to send you flying. But his fist barely moves your chin, you looking down at it as the machine’s face clearly shows fear. “Wh-What?!”
“Who sent you?” you ask it, reaching down with your left and grabbing it’s right arm at the elbow. Unfortunately for it you clamp down, metal groaning as it’s bent and mangled in your grip,
“Like I’d tell you!” it replies, pointing it’s left hand at your head and unleashing a barrage of Death Beams at point-blank range. But just as it raises it’s hand you Ascend, the power gap growing to the point the tiny beams are unable to so much as scratch you. “I-Impossible! I am the mighty Cooler!”
“And now you’re dead.” you reply, opening your mouth and obliterating it with a Mouth Blast. As the smoke clears, you find that Meloka has destroyed those she was fighting as well, turning to you. “See any more?”

“No, not yet.” she replies, you both going back-to-back to make sure another one doesn’t sneak up on either of you. Several seconds go by, when suddenly you see Yami dropping through the air.
“Hey, over here!” you call, flaring your aura up so he couldn’t possibly miss you. But then you notice something’s wrong, he’s not paying attention to you.
“Dark Magic: Dark Slash!” he roars, swinging his sword at something. But then you see it, another metal Cooler closes the distance and slams a fist into his gut. Before Yami can recover the Cooler flips forward, swatting the swordsman with his tail and sending him crashing to the ground.

“Well well, we meet again, Saiyan.” the Cooler says, you noticing something different about this one. There’s noticeable damage to the left side of it’s head, making it’s eyes appear different as well. “I have been reborn, brought back from the depths of hell to get my revenge!”
“I’m not sure which Karn you think I am, but I never killed you.” you say, taking your fighting stance as your instincts begin to warn you. You can’t take him lightly. “But if you want to die, I can kill you here and now!”
“Ohoho, foolish monkey.” he replies, a golden glow beginning to radiate around his metallic body. “You will die, broken and begging for the sweet release of death at my hand! HAAAAA!!”

And that’s it for this weekend, enjoying the ride? Ready to test your might? Curious who’s behind Cooler’s arrival, and most importantly why? All this and more, next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!
>>
>>4220213
Oh wait. Is this the Cooler we killed when an enemy Towa tried to attack our Towa's base? We killed a Cooler and a Slug there, so this guy might be the former.
>>
>>4220217
Who brought this retard back, where is OUR Cooler? I swear if that boy swiped the Star and put his dolls back up, he's getting Aced.
>>

>>4220246
Even better question. Although the Big Gete Star has already been destroyed in your timeline.

>“And now you’re dead.” you reply, opening your mouth and obliterating it with a Mouth Blast.

I'm talking like using it to deliver a blow from the ground directly below an opponent while still standing away from them.
>>
>>4220353
No, the Big Gete Star in YOUR timeline is destroyed. Karn destroyed it in his first Berserker rampage
>>4220355
You could potentially develop techniques like that.
>>
>>4220376
How widespread is the Berserker mutation across the Saiyan population now?
Do Karn, Nappa, and Paragus share a relatively recent common ancestor?
What songs has Chaya been adding to her repetoire?
Has Raditz thought about taking up an instrument to have an excuse to get on stage with Chaya?
As Chilli comes of age, would he be willing to teach magic to PTO troops who show aptitude?
Are Saiyans genetically similar enough to Humans for pic related to think Karn is a reclaimer?
>>
>>4220401
Small, possibly, good question but you’ll have to wait and see, no, he’d be willing now, and what’s that?
>>
>>4220452
Guilty Spark, angriest AI lightbulb in existence, murderer of best Sargent Johnson, and Halo Installation janitor..
>>
>>4220467
Oh yeah, that thing, kinda forgot it existed. As for the question, who knows? You’d have to meet it to find out.
>>
>>4220401
That light bulb is called 343 Guilty Spark (or the Oracle by the Covenant)
Guilty Spark is an old Forerunner custodian that caused The Great Schism (which resulted in the fall of the Covenant) by correcting the Covenant's inaccurate religious doctrine and naming Humanity "Reclaimers", the true inheritors of the Forerunner's legacy.
>>
>>4220489
Well, we're going to High Charity anyhow, I imagine we'll probably see him floating around.
>>
>>4220504
>>4220501
Spark and the Oracle in High Charity are 2 different light bulbs, the Oracle was shot by Truth for trying to rip out the Forerunner ship keeping High Charity up and running, and fucking off. Spark came aboard later.
>>
>>4220516
It all runs together when it's been at least a decade since I played 2 and 3.
Regardless, the Covenant are retarded and I'd love to see how much worse the Great Schism would be if Karn was called a Reclaimer.
>>
>>4220521
True, I'd bet the mass death of Elites by aneurysm is hilarious.
>>
>>4220521
>the arbiter comes back to life through sheer reee and immediately his heart explodes and he suffers a brain hemorrhage so violent that it douses those nearby in gore
>>
>>4220516
All monitors are referred to as Oracles by the Covenant.
The one that caused the schism and tried to launch the forerunner ship was Mendicant Bias, aka traitorous scum that betrayed its creators.

QM QUESTION

So we have a couple options for this week’s epilogue, and I’m not sure which I find more appealing. So I’ll ask you guys which sounds better:
>Tanya retraining her soldiers to prepare them for what’s coming
>Chilli and Megumin at the feast, and afterwards
>Chaya’s training with Broly and Raditz
>Arctus doing the final preparations for the Lucrehulk’s maiden voyage to New Salda

Good question actually. Perhaps Kazuma was never actually isekai’d into that world this timeline. As for Darkness, she’s off doing Darkness things. And, possible spoilers, having a literal god descend to be her friend part-time because she’s a devout follower who prayed for it, yet no one in the mortal world would. Eris best goddess
>>
>>4223140
Eris is best goddess, in fact if we meet, or even better, if Chilli is the one to meet them. Then then can super wholesome adventures, drama when he finds out she's a goddess that doesn't suck so much wrinkly old worm taint that it's actually an Arbiter, and learn to get stronger together...by stopping Darkness from trying to get raped to death by the largest freak in the room that given day. It could be great fun, up until Eris and Darkness have the horrible idea to bring Aqua in front of Chilli, and the family, for dinner one night. Then they get to see what happens to a godling more useless than Shin, especially if they let the Axis Church on the planet somehow. Hopefully they will recover their sanity...and maybe, knock out Darkness before the process starts. She'd be done for that level of brutal fisting, with gusto, and I doubt she would survive. Kinda sucks for Kazuma though, he was still the most competent, he'd just do his thing as quick as he could then become a merchant that fucks around all day. He'd probably be in line to sponsor Vox or something.

Karn isn't a terrible opponent to fight against provided you end the fight almost as soon as it starts.
Best way to do that is catch him off guard and hit him in such a way that he couldn't possibly tank it.
Fat fucking chance of that happening though, many have tried and failed.
Danger Sense makes it near impossible if you're name isn't Zeno Zoldyck, and even he got caught by Karn once.

>>
>>4226565

>>
>>4226393
Karn is really tough to beat in a fight, as long as his opponent is somewhat near him in power.
>>4226441
>almost as soon as it starts
Preferably before it starts, like Mira did. While sneaking up on Karn almost never works, the best way to beat him is to blitz him with overwhelming power. Or grind him down with an army, then swoop in to secure the kill like the last Arbiter did
>>
>>4226592
>Preferably before it starts, like Mira did
The only reason he won is because he decided to sucker punch us in base form while he had fucking Xenoverse tier power.
He's a punk bitch and I absolutely want a rematch with him at some point. See how he like a goddamn hole in his chest...
>>
>>4226625

>>
>>4226698
>You mean your chest hole?
I'm talking about the powdered bones and shredded meat that used to be our original heart and ribcage.
I'd say we do that same to him, but Towa probably has spare parts out the ass which how often he gets beat.
Speaking of, what was out Towa's specialty again? I have to wonder if she could possibly give us a few upgrades down the line.
>>
>>4226712
Our Towa's specialty is pumping out our godlike kids, being a mom, and grabbing shit out of different universes.

They are neets, so by that logic, if they don't go the normal route and take in some Mira, then they would try and go husbando hunting by way of looking for supplement fighters. Mayhaps ones that know or see our Towa, either looking in our timeline for a monkey mate, or follow our Towa's method of study and research, not baseball bat sized insertions of Karn Cock Magic(tm), but going to outside universes of the 12 to get other fighters.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 127 Epilogue I-

AGE 749, SOMEWHERE IN SPACE

“Here goes nothing.” you mutter to yourself, standing at the helm of the Lucrehulk’s central Control Room. Your finger hovers over the button, hesitating. You are Arctus: legendary drunk, distant cousin of the infamous Cold clan, and a certified wizard with technology. For more than a year now you’ve been working tirelessly towards this moment, on the single-largest undertaking of your life. While reactivating ancient military factories and creating your own army is certainly impressive, it absolutely pales in comparison to what you’ve achieved now: rebuilding a massive cargo spacecraft/warship used in ancient times.

The Lucrehulk is a massive vehicle, an imperfect donut-shaped craft over three thousand meters wide and long, and over a thousand meters tall, with a central sphere in the center. This control center houses the main reactors, as well as crew quarters, command center, and the various life support systems on board. In the control room, you find yourself now poised over main console, a single keystroke away from firing up this massive warship. Yet, you hesitate. If something goes wrong, if you made even a single miscalculation in replicating the massive engines: not only will thirteen months of effort have been wasted, but the assault on the Covenant will have failed before it even began. The PTO’s entire strategy hinges on your ability to create this asset.

“Is something wrong, commander?” Roger asks, your personal B1 droid assistant walking over to you. “There isn’t an issue with the keyboard, is there?”
“No, no it’s fine.” you say, taking a deep breath to try and calm your anxiety. And when that doesn’t work you draw your hip flask, turning it up and draining it in one go. “Alright. Here goes!”

And you push the button.
>>
>>4227798
At first nothing happens, you starting to think something’s actually wrong with it. But then you feel it. The Lucrehulk’s reactors begin firing, a tremendous rumble running through the massive ship. The trembling quickly grows more and more violent, and without any gravity you’re left floating as the droids all rattle in their seats. Thankfully you’d had secure harnesses made for them, keeping the one hundred twenty B1 pilot droids from flying off due to either the lack of gravity or the tremors. You watch triumphantly as one by one different monitors flip on, systems all turning green as the ship truly begins functioning. Your feel the onboard gravity kick in, feet touching the ground at the same time as you feel the first blast of cool wind on your face. The life support system begins working and cycling clean air in, you taking a deep breath of the fresh air before sighing out in relief. You did it, you really did it!

https://youtube.com/watch?v=OJtmtgCwSbI

“Sir, we have a problem.” one of the droids says as warning lights begin flashing overhead, you dashing over to the droid and console to see which system is having problems. Your eyes widen in surprise, fortunately the issue isn’t one of the reactors. But, unfortunately, one of the main energy shields isn’t deploying. The left arm’s main hangar shield isn’t activated, all the atmosphere the life support systems are trying to make is simply being sucked out into space.
“Dammit, shut the life support systems for the left arm down.” you say, grumbling under your breath. “I’ll head down there, and see what’s wrong with it.”
“Roger roger.” they all say, you taking off. Dashing along the halls, you quickly find the nearest airlock, leaving the central core and flying through the void of space to the left arm. And sure enough, the energy field isn’t active.

“No wonder the knowledge of this tech was lost long ago.” you think to yourself, dashing over to diagnose the issue. The shielding tech for these ancient ships was tricky to figure out, generating a field of energy that can simultaneously keep atmosphere inside, repel outside energy, yet also allow ships and living beings to pass through without breaking the seal is a technological marvel. That said, if a single field emitter is down, the shielding for an entire entrance could go down. If this were to happen while the Saiyans are on board, thousands could die of suffocation before the emitters could be fixed. You approach the right side emitters first, checking each of them one by one.
>>
>>4227802
“Well, no problems here.” you mutter, moving to the left side. And sure enough you find the issue, the middle emitter’s cracked. Instead of focusing it’s energy forward as designed, much of it’s power is simply leaking out into the void. “Seems a simple enough fix.”

Reaching down to your personal control device on your left arm you quickly type out orders to Roger. Eight seconds later the rest of the emitters begin shutting down, you approaching the cracked emitter from the inside. You take the protective plates off, disconnecting everything from the faulty emitter. Thankfully your telekinesis makes these efforts trivial, you needing no other tools than your mind to disassemble the busted emitter. You let it fly out into the void of space, flying over to the nearest supply area to grab one of the many spares. Due to your paranoid nature, every single part of the ship that could be replaced has been made in at least triplicate. For each emitter there are three spares, same for every turret, receiver, armor plate and tractor beam on this massive ship. The only parts you couldn’t make spares for were the reactors themselves, as there’d be no place on board to store them.

Entering the nearest storage area, you see everything is still mounted in place. Due to the ship having artificial gravity, each part is mounted and secured in case the gravity system should somehow fail. But finding what you’re looking for you quickly disconnect the emitter, checking it over for the same fault that caused the other failure. But finding it whole you take the large emitter and leave the storage area, hurrying back to the left arm’s main entryway. You carefully install the emitter, hooking everything up then replacing all the armor plates. Each piece now back where it should be you type more orders to Roger, and after another ten seconds you watch the emitters begin firing up. As they all begin to glow, you watching the one you’d just replaced intently. You hope the fault was in the emitter and not somewhere in the wiring, and after several seconds the energy field fully materializes.

With another sigh you once more type out orders, you feeling the cool breeze as once more atmosphere begins to be pumped into the Lucrehulk’s left arm. You take your time back to the control center, walking down the wide hanger arm and looking over what all you have created.
>>
>>4227806
Hundreds of the Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droids, or Vulture Droids as they’d been dubbed, await deployment in their overhead storage racks. While building the Lucrehulk and pouring over the schematics, you found what seemed to be an excessive amount of large holes in it’s built-in defenses. That is, until you deciphered how to build these technological terrors. Without an on-board AI or life support, the droid ships are relatively inexpensive for the amount of firepower they possess. Each one of the Vulture Droids is controlled by the Lucrehulk’s central AI, it able to directly control all fifteen hundred of these ships simultaneously. Which is impressive, considering how difficult controlling even two ships simultaneously is.

“Roger, can you hear me?” you ask into your scouter’s local channel, getting a reply immediately.
“Roger roger.” it replies. “Energy fields all operational,
“How does everything look?” you ask, walking down the wide hanger. “Everything working correctly?”
“All systems are showing green, commander.” Roger replies. “Atmospheric levels stable, gravity set to the universal average, and all reactors reading stable. Shall I initiate P.R.I.M.E?”
“Yeah, go ahead and start her up.” you reply, smirking to yourself. Fortunately during your deep dives through the archives of the net, you’d discovered an ancient AI compatible with the Lucrehulk’s systems. After plugging several commands into it’s system, preventing it from going rogue, turning traitor, or knowingly killing the Saiyans and others inside, you’d activated it for the first time.

“Good morning, Arctus.” PRIME’s female-sounding voice calls out over your scouter. “I see that you’ve finally completed the Lucrehulk. And...everything appears to be functioning correctly. Most impressive.”
“It’s wonderful, isn’t it?” you ask ‘her’, as several dozen of the Vulture Droids begin to activate. You watch as they all take off from the recharging racks, flying out through the main hanger door to patrol around the ship. You’d learned that they could take to a walking form when not flying or in the recharging racks, and can take up positions all over the Lucrehulk. “What do you think?”
“I think that this vessel is an excellent first attempt.” PRIME replies, you making your way to the elevator and riding back to the control room. “Recreating a ship that hasn’t been in production for more than twenty-five hundred years is an impressive feat. Is it finally time to depart?”

“Yeah, it’s time.” you reply, smirking smugly to yourself. “Begin charting a course for New Salda. We have a war to win.”

I for one look forward to the future generations of silly Saiyan's as they make a new Boom Village on New Salda...speaking of which, is she going to get pissed about that? -Saiyan Conqueror Quest 127 Epilogue II-

AGE 748, CRIMSON DEMON VILLAGE

“Chilli? Hey, Chilli?” a voice calls, snapping you to attention. Having been dozing off in your seat you look over to your right, seeing your longtime friend Megumin looking at you worriedly. “You okay?”
“Yeah I-I’m fine.” you say with a yawn, trying to keep your eyes open. You are Chilli: Super Saiyan Archmage, son of Karn and Meloka, and also now the savior of the Crimson Demon clan. Having spent the day training, then battling and annihilating the Destroyer with Megumin, and then protecting the Crimson Demons from an undead army, you’re understandably exhausted. And despite you and the townsfolks’ work, who are all mages of incredible talent, many buildings were burned down or destroyed and several lives were lost. Despite running on fumes, you’d worked alongside the Village Chief Hiropon and the others to quell the flames and rescue the remaining survivors. After everyone was safe you had continued to try and help, but Megumin stopped you. She’d had you to sit down “just for five minutes”, but as soon as you’d slowed down you passed right out.

Seemingly a moment later she had shaken you awake, you seeing a large table in the central street covered in food. The entire village threw together a feast, resting upon a great table made of the fallen skeletal warriors’ bones. As you joined the feast the chief, Hiropon, had praised your efforts. He used his own magic to recreate you leaping headlong into battle armed with your ancient dagger’s crystal blade and a sword of magical darkness. His illusory version of the battle idolizes you, showing and probably exaggerating the damage you’d taken. But after Megumin’s mom had healed you, there wasn’t a scar or even a bloodstain left, so you can’t be entirely certain. But judging from the condition your clothes and armor are in, it wasn’t that bad.

“Three cheers for Chilli!” Hiropon shouted after his illusory battle concluded. “The savior of the Crimson Demons, and bane of the undead!”
“Hip hip, hooray!” they all shouted, even Megumin and Yunyun cheering along. After that the feast settled down, everyone’s appetite voracious after depleting their mana. You had eaten enough for two dozen of the mages, but now that the feast is over and many have left, you are struggling to just stay awake.
“I’m fine.” you say again, smiling tiredly to your friend. “Just a little tired’s all.”
“We don’t have to stay.” she says, laying her hand on yours. “C’mon, you can stay at my place.”
“Sure.” you say, taking her hand as the two of you rise from the table. She leads you out of the lights set up around the table, but as you both round the corner she stops. you walk into her before seeing she’d stopped, and hear-
>>
>>4230172
“Ara ara. Now, where are you two off to?” an unfamiliar voice calls out. Looking around Megumin’s hat you see a trio of women who are clearly Crimson Demons waiting there. As if their poses weren’t enough of a giveaway, each set of their red eyes are glowing out of the darkness. Each of the females are wearing the so-called school outfit of the Crimson Demons: dark robe, white shirt, and short skirt paired with a red eyepatch similar to Megumin’s. “Trying to keep him all for yourself, Megumin?”

“Arue.” Megumin replies with the slightest hint of a growl. You aren’t sure what’s going on here, but despite being cut from the same cloth, the two girls almost couldn’t be further apart. While Megumin is small and fit, this ‘Arue’ is shaped far more like Auntie Towa.
“Don’t forget us.” another says, the woman with long hair pulled in twin-tails says as she strikes another pose. “You shouldn’t try and sneak him away. We’re friends after all, we should share, right?”
“Funifura. Dodonko.” Megumin says, addressing them each in turn. “This isn’t what you all think.”
“Oh, really?” the one called Arue asks, jiggling as she leans in. “From where I’m standing, it looks like you’re taking him to your house. Alone. And I’ve seen how you’ve been looking at him, we all know what’ll happen when you get him alone.”

“Huh?” you ask, confused. Then with a yawn, continue. “What do you mean? Were left undisturbed all the time on my world.”
“Eh? EH?!” the trio all say at once, your words somehow surprising enough to cause them all to recoil. You turn to Megumin, confused.
“Did I say something wrong?”
“N-No, they’re just letting their imaginations run wild!” Megumin says, face flushed for some reason. Then before you can ask anything else she pulls you along, rushing past those three. They don’t follow, Megumin holding onto your hand and half-dragging you all the way to her modest house. But as she reaches the door she lets you go, slowly opening it. The interior of the house is dark, Megumin whispering into the darkness. “I’m home.”

Silence greets you, yet something doesn’t feel right. You can’t place it, your brain too tired to think, but you know something’s wrong. She leads you inside after a few moments, after gesturing for you to be quiet and leave your boots at the door. You do as she does, Megumin tiptoeing into her house as you tiredly step behind her. But after she takes a half-dozen steps a light comes on in front of you both, you seeing Megumin’s mom, Yuiyui, holding a tiny lit flame on the tip of an upraised finger.
>>
>>4230177
“Mo-?” Megumin asks, you feeling a surge of magical energy from Yuiyui. At first you aren’t sure what she did, but as Megumin continues trying to talk, you realize you don’t hear anything. Not her, the remains of the party that’s still ongoing, not the frogs outside the village chirping in the dark, nothing. And with her flame Yuiyui writes something in the air with her flames, the unfamiliar script disappearing after a moment. But Megumin clearly understood, nodding to her mom and walking off. You go to follow, her mom holding her other hand up to you before writing again. As you can’t read this, and her earlier spell seems to have canceled noise around you all, you simply reach out and think directly to her.

“What’s goin’ on?” you ask, your telepathy clearly surprising Mrs. Megumin. But she chuckles, as far as you can tell in the silence before thinking back.
“I told her to go get her room ready.” she replies to you. “Once it’s ready, you can go in.”
“Why?” you ask, genuinely confused. “I mean, we’ve shared a bed a few times back home. I don’t want to be a bother.”
“Oh really?” she replies, clearly thinking furiously for a few moments before smiling. But something’s wrong with her smile, it doesn’t seem quite right. You’ll figure it out another time, you’re just too tired right now. “Well then, I guess it’ll be fine. Just make sure you take responsibility for my little Megumin, young man. Understood?”
“Of course.” you think to her as you nod, as serious as you can be when interrupted by another yawn. “I’ll make sure no one hurts her.”

She then leads you to Megumin’s room, almost pushing you in before closing the door behind you. You see Megumin’s already taken off her armor, pulling her pajamas on as she hears the door shut.

“Mo-AAAAH!?” she shouts in surprise, holding her shirt in front of her. “Chilli? Wha-What’re you doin’?”
“Huh?” you ask her, confused. Both by what you see, and that you can hear again. “Your mom said I can come in. Is something wrong?”
“N-No, no, it’s fine.” she says, regaining her composure. Turning her back on you she puts her pajama shirt on, buttoning it up. “C’mon, take that armor off. You’re not getting in my bed wearing dirty clothes”
“Yeah, okay.” you reply, trying to lift it over your head. But as damaged as it is, it pulls apart; falling to pieces in your hands. You don’t mull over it long, dropping the pieces you’re holding before tossing your arm guards off as well, laying your pendant, ring and weapon aside and stripping down into nothing but your pants.
>>
>>4230180
“Are you done ye-?” she asks, freezing for a moment as she turns and sees you. “Ah!”
“What’s wrong?” you ask, looking down at yourself. “Am I bleeding?”
“N-No, nothing’s wrong.” she says, turning her back on you again and rummaging around in a drawer for a few seconds. “G-Go ahead and get in, I’ll be just a second.”
“Sure.” you reply tiredly, pulling the blanket back on her “bed”. Which is just a blanket and pillow on the floor, another blanket beneath it. You’re so tired you don’t even bat an eye, getting in and resting your head on half the pillow, leaving the other half for her. But before you can say anything else, you’re already asleep. You don’t know how much time passes, your sleep deep and uninterrupted. That is, until the first rays of the morning sun shine through a window, right on your eyes. You slowly wake up, trying to roll away from the light but feel something’s laying on your arm.

“Hrmmm?” you mumble, eyes slowly opening. The first thing you see is a mess of hair right in front of you, it taking you a moment to realize that you’re looking at the back of Megumin’s head. She’s laying right next to you, her back pressed to your chest and your right arm laying over her middle. Your right hand is held by both of hers, it clutched to her chest as she snoozes peacefully. You don’t want to disturb her, so using your still-drained magical energy cast a weak Dark spell with a whisper. “Dark Cloak.”

Your magic coats the window in darkness, it stifling the sunlight and easing the stress on your tired eyes. With a sigh you relax, simply closing your eyes again in the now much-darker room. But the sudden change in light doesn’t go unnoticed, Megumin squirming a bit in your grip. You feel her breathing change, Megumin pulling your arm in as she backs up closer to you.

“Hey, Megu.” you say softly, voice barely above a whisper. “You awake?”
“No.” she replies, snuggling a bit closer to you. “I’m still asleep, so just... Stay right here, okay?”
“Sure.” you reply simply. Your body still feels heavy, the sleep you got not nearly enough to restore your body after the beating it took yesterday. So you’re more than willing to let it rest. You simply lay there with Megumin in her small room, wondering what it would’ve been like growing up in a place like this? With basically no technology or communication with the universe at large, and the only fighting being against your other clan members and the wild beasts of this world, you wonder how you would have turned out? But as you’re thinking quietly to yourself, the morning calm is soon shattered by a scream.
>>
>>4230181
“MEEEEGUUMIIIN!” Komekko shouts, barging in her room and leaping on the bed. “Get up sleepy head, it’s morning!”
“Mornin’.” you say, the little sister turning her head and seeing you. You don’t know how she didn’t notice you before, but her eyes widen as she notices you. “Sleep good kiddo?”
“Oooooooooo.” she says, mouth widening before she leaps up, screaming and runninf from the room. “MOOOOOOOM! HE’S HERE! CHILLI’S IN MEGUMIN’S BED!”
“W-Wai-Oof!” Megumin shouts after her sister, tripping over you and falling flat on her face. “Wait, Komekko!”

“What’s wrong?” you ask, trying not to chuckle. Megumin turns to you, clearly red-faced. Probably from smacking her face on the ground.
“Sh-She can’t just go around shouting that.” she tells you, untangling her feet from the blanket. “The whole village will hear her!”
“And?” you ask, not getting this at all. “So what?”
“Eh?” she asks you, head tilting as she freezes in place. “What do you mean, so what?”
“Who cares what they think?” you ask her seriously, helping her untangle herself before getting out of bed as well. “You shouldn’t let other people’s opinions matter too much Megu. You’ll turn out like Chaya if you do, always wanting to hear the crowds chanting your name.”
“That’s not what I meant.” she replies, pouting a bit at you. “There’s certain rules in the village. Especially with things like this.”

“Oh, okay. What kinda rules?” you reply, walking over to your gear and getting dressed. Well, as dressed as you can, considering your armor is beyond saving. So you simply don your gauntlets and magical artifacts, leaving your upper body bare.
“We-Well, if a man and a woman who aren’t related share a bed, then they have to. To...” she says, trailing off. You turn, seeing her getting dressed as well as she continues. “Doing that means that they have to get married.”
“Is that all?” you ask, Megumin jumping in surprise before turning to you.
“The hell do you mean, ‘is that all?’?” Megumin shouts at you, cheeks noticeably redder than they were before. “Getting married is a really big deal!”
“Well, Mom and Dad seem pretty happy together.” you say to her, thinking it over a moment. “I don’t think I’d mind being married to you.”

Silence greets you for a moment, it broken by stifled chuckling behind you. You turn, seeing Megumin’s mother Yuiyui in the doorway. On the simple wooden tray in her hands are a pair of wodden mugs, a sweet smell coming from them.

“Oh my.” she says, sharing an odd look between both you and Megumin. Something about it reminds you of your mom, just before she’d attack. “I wouldn’t be interrupting anything, would I?”

>Silence greets you, yet something doesn’t feel right. You can’t place it, your brain too tired to think, but you know something’s wrong.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck, listen to the danger sense boy, LISTEN TO YOUR GENES!

Oh, Chilli, phrasing, these a naturally thirsty nerds, even the married ones will go off on wild fantasies.

Smooth little nerd girl, very smooth.

Komekko is a tiny cinnamon bun, and great for teasing Megu.

>Well, as dressed as you can, considering your armor is beyond saving. So you simply don your gauntlets and magical artifacts, leaving your upper body bare.
So he's going for his fathers method for seducing his future wife, casual nudity.
>“Well, Mom and Dad seem pretty happy together.” you say to her, thinking it over a moment. “I don’t think I’d mind being married to you.”
And the Chad genes flowing forth against the gravity well that is his dense protagonist soul. By accident too, there gonna be fine.
>“Oh my.” she says, sharing an odd look between both you and Megumin. Something about it reminds you of your mom, just before she’d attack. “I wouldn’t be interrupting anything, would I?”
That is a very scary sentence GD, in what way is she looking like she is going to attack, like, afte Karn just gets out of the training room only for Meloka to drag him back in and lock the door, or skin you alive with a potato peeler just to hear the screams, kind of attack?
>>4230192
He is best better Gohan, and we are proud of him. Still worried where that denseness came from though, pretty weird. Must be magic or something.
>>4230361
And? This marriage is a certain as Meloka trying to get knocked up a few more times before going back over to Towa's again for her turn. Rain falls, Chilli is harem protagonist dense but actually deserves the harem, and Meloka really likes to shank people that look at her family wrong.
>>4230378
Wrong setting mate, that's because everyone is a walking bomb, and anything bigger is too much wasted effort.
>>4230428
Oh never mind, your a french fry. Hang on, my bunny is hungry, don't mind the blood.

Well, now it brings to mind, Chaya has Raditz, Chilli, for the moment, has Megumin. Broly is the odd one our now, and I am worried.
>>
>>4231794
out* now
>>
>>4231794
Clearly we need to find out where Cheelai is at this point. A dozen or so threads ago someone also jokingly suggested that Broly end up with Chi-Chi after visiting Earth for one reason for another.

>>4231794
Broly may have his own admirers
>>4231869
Ha
>>
>>4231869
Chi-Chi might work, speaking of, aren't we coming up to the start of the actual Dragon Ball timeline?
>>4231872
>Broly may have his own admirers
Well yeah, that's natural, it would be weirder if he didn't. It's just, like, I can't think of anyone he hangs out with besides family and the people Chaya brings home from time to time. Which reminds me, when are we going to see Ezra drop by, or is she still trying to beat Chaya?
