Scouts have found a recently uncovered entryway leading to an underground maze of corridors and fortune. Monstrosities roam the halls while high powers seek to lay claim to its hidden riches. The promise of fame, glory, and promotion are offered to those brave or foolish enough to stride forth into the darkness. This is a story which follows one particular faction who ventures deep within this mysterious realm. This is the story of Dasani Squad.

Labyrinth is a collaborative skirmish game where players take part in co-operative play to clear maps filled with challenges and obstacles in order to progress the story and gain new build options for their characters. Warning!!! There are dice in this game (a d20 system) but players do not roll their own unless specifically stated otherwise. Dice are only rolled for attacks, and even then only for ranged combat. All other actions are reliable interactions between the player input and the game board, so long as the player understands that clarity is required for their actions to be processed to satisfaction. Labyrinth is also a game that operates on Rendered Fog of War, being that only the tiles in view of the player characters will be rendered on the map. Death is temporary, as is character creation choices, as between maps the players may choose to swap out their gear, class, and cosmetics from the full list available to the party. However, character deployment is limited to once per map.

Voltage erupts from the etching, as the Eyegate and all surrounding elements in the zone vanish from site without a trace. Some elements are cleaved in twain, and walls stand as if a sturdy slice of cake on end. With the hovering monstrosity gone the area falls silent with exception to the shifting of units and soft prayers offered in hope for the future. Final notes:
Dasani Squad's execution of the mission is overall above average expectations, even to the point of driving off a sudden, unknown [High threat level] hostile. Casualties and majority of damage dealt to units in the field in review seemingly was from user error, but units have reported some field surrounding the [Eyegate] which would redirect incoming fire back towards the shooter. Other accounts such as teleportation, fanaticism, and unearthed evidence of laser-based weaponry have been documented, and development involving these unearthed prototypes into more reliable and useful equipment in the field is underway. Overall, the troupe performed beyond expectations, and shows signs of full capability working autonomously within this unknown region.

After the exchanges of farewells as the knight in rolling armor drives off back to HQ, Dasani Squad descends further into the labyrinth. Flights upon flights of winding stairwells threatens boredom amidst the party until a layer of neglect is seen upon a platform below. The first attempts at an easy exit are found denied by an unknown force. Whatever is causing this effect must also be jamming the signal that would alert this event in the first place. Perhaps it is the tide itself causing the warning system to trigger that overrides other alerts?

Final notes:
Dasani Squad had mixed results in this mission, suffering proper casualties by intentionally erected hazards and patrolling hostiles. Squad might struggle against clever or malicious enemy forces who employ proper tactical behaviors and decision making, likely due to a lack of communication between units. That said, decision making on part of the squad was found to be overall improved prior to the previous mission, showcasing the troupe is more than capable of learning from the mistakes of the minority to benefit the majority. This trait will be quite valuable in the expected final mission before reestablishing direct communications with HQ.
