NRP Classic™Create a nation/civilization and RP in the fantasy themed world. Each player starts with 1 "tile" and a capital (Exceptions exist). Choose a location to start and your color. You may post immediately.===============================================================Rules and Information:Read the OP before you ask dumb questions. Standard RP rules apply.-The purpose of this is to create an enjoyable story through gameplay and RP, remember that there is no winning or losing, good RP and loremaking is the goal. Do not play to win.-Be reasonable. (Most important rule)Turns: All players may post 2 actions (one turn) alongside their introduction at start, after this their next turns may be posted after the update by OP. Diplomacy and lore posts do not count as an action.Actions will be introduced in the order they are posted. Actions are not canon until the game is updated.Actions: You're free to do whatever you want, but keep it reasonable. If an action is deemed unreasonable or otherwise unfit to put into play, you will be notified and allowed an extra action per disallowed action in your next turn. Results of your actions will vary depending on the player and what OP thinks of their capabilities. If you are unsure or feel your post may not be counted or done right, elaborate in your post the reasons why it should go through as such.A post may also be put into play but in a limited state rather than not put into play. This will be noted.Settlements: Settlements may only be created in tiles with an existing claim by the owner. (No expanding and creating a city in the expansion in the same turn)Tech: Starting tech may not exceed bronze age. Do not rush technology.Resources: Materials used in actions must be worked or traded in order to be used. Resources within your grasp that are not worked may be used for lore but not in large scale or for your advantage.War: War should be produced with 1 action which should describe the goal and intended tactics. The defender may then post a response detailing how they will defend against the action, or it will be decided by OP. The conflict results will be posted shortly after by OP.Defense to a war action is free, using an action will allow attacking with a successful defense.Leaving: Players may leave at any time so long as a suitable post regarding their end is made. Players that leave without an end post or and insufficient endpost will be banned from future games and the fate of their nation at the mercy of OP.Moderation: OP's reserves the right to retcon any posts requiring such action. Expect IC catastrophes for poor behavior.Grievances are to be directed to OP through private messages. Any complaints not issued this way are invalid.More rules and information exists but the above are simply the most important.

>Civilization/Race Name: A Luminância tho Crilo (Crilo shorten name)/ Sun Elves (Coluz(s) in their language)>Capital Name: Thança>Brief Summary of Nation: The Sun Elves, guided by the stars and gods, came to this new wonderful land on a dare. They didn't want to lose face when the underlings (dwarves) accused them of being afraid of going out in the world and exploring it. (Looking back, it was pretty foolish to go on a deadly adventure just brcause some punks told you so.) On the bright side, they found a new isle to make a new home. Things were a bit crowed back home.>Optional Fluff: Coluzs come in a variety of gold skin tones and hair colors. Some say the position of the sun determines it. They're a hearty friendly folk with a love of athletics and exploration. They worship the stars and gods related to the weather, terrains and disasters.
>>4161396>Civilization/Race Name: Unified Felidae Republic/ Cat folk (Big cats, little cats, all the kinds of cats)>Capital Name: Cattas Hope>Brief Summary of Nation:Felis Catus is the first president of the Unified Felidae Republic. A dream generations-old finally realized the republic represents the unification of the numerous subspecies of the Felidae family. In this bold new world, Felidakind can only hope that the future will hold freedom, brotherhood, and reciprocity.>Optional Fluff:Racial traits1st trait: Natural magicians--For Felidaes magic comes as naturally to them as breathing, hunting, and ~funtiming~ even the most inept Fedlidae mage would give an experience non-Felidae mage a run for there money.2nd trait: massive litters-- unlike most litter bearing mammals species the average Felidae female can produce anywhere from 15 to 30 children at a time. more often than not Pregnant Felidaes are bedridden by the end of the first month of their nine-month pregnancy. Cultural Identity Manifest destiny-- It is the destiny of the Republic to expand to all corners of this world.
>>4161394>Civilization/Race Name: Lo-hai >Capital Name: Krrgstyl >Brief Summary of Nation:: a race of stone skinned 6 armed radial starfish the size of bulls. Emerging from an opened subterranean cave, they swimmed up to the surface to begin climbing up mountain face around their lake>Optional Fluff: The Lo-hai anatomy is of a strange bleeding muscle mantle on the inside, and a stony obsidian crust as their skin. As they age and eat from the mouth in the center of their bodies, the mantle pushes against the crust, cracking it and oosing new liquid shell to harden. Old shards, un needed arms, and whole shells are used as tools for the Lo-hai to fish in their lake-home. (Basically strange neolithic obsidian tools from their bodies, with starfish regeneration). Lo-hai culture as part of their subterranean isolation is extremely chaotic. Competing Lo-hai form gangs, and regional war was common for control of space. However this constant inner war is not as terrible for the Lo-hai as it is for some other races due to the customs of it. When the star fish creatures kill their own in acts of war- typically two will rip a lone Lo-hai in half either with brute strength or chopping shards. The corpse half is used as gain, while the regenerating Lo-hai is rendered to a juvenile state, and join the conquering party after recovery.
>>4161394>Civilization/Race Name: The Necraztzi>Capital Name: Zumakamas>Brief Summary of Nation: A religious autocracy, heavily agrarian with a massive focus on celebration whenever possible. >High birth rates and food production are its most notable traits.>Optional Fluff: A group of tribal humans who don colourful bird feathers under the rule of a primitive monotheistic priesthood, worshipping the Death/Fertility god Zuma, represented by the image of white human skull laid before a black sun. >Celebrations are held for every birth, death, harvest, planting of seeds, as well as many other arbitrary times throughout the year.
>>4161593Actions>With the Tribes united it is time for the Cathi people to turn there gaze outward to the lands around them and beyond. scouts are sent out along the cardinal directions north, south, east, and west. to locate resources that can strengthen the Republic and Cathi people. >Despite the joy brought about by unification not all is well. one of the primary forces behind unification was the ongoing food shortages. As such the Presidents first act is to call on all able-bodied adults to join "the great hunt" A massive hunt that will hopefully allow the fledging nation to resolve its food shortage
>>4161604Action 1:>The Necraztzi have thus far a disorganised mess of a navy, really mostly scattered paddles with only a few proper ships.>Cut some trees down to form the beginnings of a wooden harbour, and gather all of the ships there.Action 2:>Send some of our ships with some people down to the wetlands river, we shall add it to our community

Many of their young war spawn are sent down the lake side to comb the beaches and carve great trenches for the moss to be laid in.>Beach combing/ Trench digging2. The Venerable Eldest, Lo-hai of ancient age, dwells in the deepest grotto of Krrgstyl. He does not rule, he merely rests. Yet it is well to the cave dwelling Stone-lords to leave a tithe of war-gore. The water around the Hn'tstyr is always clean, for the shells are picked from their alters in the Hall of the Elder when he stirs, when the caves shake, and the waters move. Prayers are made to the Eldest in the darkest abyss before one's offerings for good fishing-hunts, wars, and mating. The higher one goes in Krrgstyl, one can find shell stalls pitching crafted chopping shards for poundages of fish, or shell shields for war-gore- emerging from Stone-lords putting war-spawn to work with crafting, fishing, digging, etc. and seeking to exchange various loot away from the sleeping Elder>Basically big grotto alters to feed granddad Lo-hai and keep him sleeping. Cultural relevance despite inter-conflict culture.
>>4161394>Race Name: The Shavii>Capital Name:Lz 022>Brief Summary of Nation:"We know nothing of our creators, nor our parents, but we know of a home, which they gave us, burning its name into the ground with a beam of light from their great vessel in the sky. "Lz 022." We don't know what it means, and we don't have a way to find out."The Shavii were originally a space faring race. They still are. However, this small tribe of Shavii have been stranded here, with no knowledge of their forefathers, nor the technology belonging to their people. Essentially, they have been left in the wilds of this unknown world. naked, and afraid, they build their small society. A leader rises, going by the name of "Nikkolas." Nikk cares deeply for his people, and wants, more than anything else, their survival. What little food they were given by their people is now running low, and they're forced to explore this foreign world in search of sustenance. Bravery will take them far, and Nikk's stricter leadership might be the key to unlocking such a valuable asset.>Optional Fluff:Shavii, or shavs, lack various external organs, which one would normally assume to be absolutely necessary for survival. They don't bear any semblance of a mouth, nose, ears, hair, hands, feet, or any orifices at all, for that matter. Instead, the Shavii sense, consume nutrients, communicate, and copulate via a pair of fleshy antennae on their heads. These antennae transmit neurological signals through brainwaves, allowing them to communicate with non-shavii by just such means.
>>4161800>1It's been a rather frankly quiet year, the Palace has been refurbished, the night is young and it's a good night for the moonblessed who stroll the small cobble or dirt made street's of their home.A small group organizes, a couple of Hunter's of wild-life broaching the community for help aquiring new land, the community, the Natch and most people agree that it's a good idea!>Head north towards the lake, making a path, hunter and fishermen think it's a good place to help supplement the crops and furthermore, many youth are itching to move out of their parents homes and many elderly would love a nice lake home.2. The river and forest that could be seen south has always been a place of emergency water in times of hardship, wild and untamed and mostly untouched, several Moonblood inspecting alongside farmers have noticed that indeed, the cattle and farmland could use more water, it's worth moving down there a little.>Expand south towards the river and forest, making a path, the area down there is a bit warmer and fertile, more water is in need and herders of animals undoubtedly will find these grazing grounds being protected rather good and access to a fresh water source directly under the communtiy's control can only be good!
>>4161839>1: explore the body of water to the east of our settlementThe first resource at our settlement that ran dry was, ironically enough, the fresh water. There's none left, and we have no other option but to explore the bodies of water that surround us. Surely, they must have what we need, and then some.(for shavii swimming, they breathe through their skin, like frogs. As such, they can walk along the bottom, and then come up for air after a decently long while. Should give them enough time to record some fauna)>2: expand southThe second resource to run dry was our food. thankfully, there are lands which surround us on all sides. Maybe the south harbors more resources?

(Imagine a large capybara)To the north, many fruits grow along the river and wetland.>>4161740No woodland capable of being harvested for the harbor is found at first, however, later the settlers find that adequate resources can be taken from these southern lands and the harbor begins to take shape, albeit slower than planned.>>4161765Traveling east, scouts discover lush grassland and a forest nearby. These grasslands are home to many slender, hooved creatures and large grounded avians predators.>>4162024The nearby lake will provide ample water to the Shavii, and deep within said water is found many serpentine-like creatures ranging from three to nine feet long. Their flesh fatty and succulent once deboned. To the south nearing the transition to hill and desert, explorers find stout scaled scavenger beasts that root around the dirt for food.

>>4162024>1: set up a small settlement at the western lakeSoon after making our first contact with the lake, it is dubbed with the elegant name of "Lake Lz 022 CardinalE." Our forefathers would have liked that title, we're sure.A large group of tents can be seen at the lake's edge, the very next day. Near those tents is a gathering of Shavii, each taking turns going into the water and spearing those long fish with their pointy fists. It seems a fishing community has come about. the shavs taking residence have named it "local water." really? okay... despite the weird name, the people there seem to be competent in the art of fishing.>2: move northwardSure, lizards are great, but if they're in the south, then what's in the north? Until then it is the site of the boundless opportunities In the south where the winds yowl across oceans of lush grass-covered plains and where Bigsnots roam unchallenged and docile in there nature the town of Lusk in time, this small settlement will grow into a prosperous town of farmers and ranchers, supplying much of the nation's vegetables and meatsAlong the river near the capital, a series of fish farms are constructed to help meant the ever-growing demand for food
>>41635761.Hmm, expanding has lead to wonderful things. Why not move some? Expand southward2.This much lands needs people to organize it lest it goes to waste. A governmental body to manage the land and resources is created.
>>41635761. The success of moss farms is immediately apparent, and every stone lord worth his crust upon the hills patrols his trench of green life with his band of spawn, stealing water from the community pools in night raids along for battle. Lo-hai spread north across the craggy hill, chasing the smell of moist salty air from the north. The carved trenches now stretch from the lakefront, to beachside in a long narrow parallel and intersecting (parrallel being prime territory, intersections being risky due to constant raids)2.Spaced evenly across the trenches, at every trench intersection is a dug Water Basin for use of all Lo-hai. For the Eldest declared long ago in the dark grottos before light greeted the stone stars once more that all Lo-hai from himself to the lowliest war-spawn have the right to water. The drinking holes are sacred, but the paths too and from are very much not so, ambushes on thirsty stone lords that were too ambitious in their moss farming become a common tactic. The dug earth and stone are used to build up and protect these basin, while furrows in the hills collect rain water.
>>4163576>1: attempt to tame the bears in the northThese creatures look hearty, as do the ones in the south. However, those among us have noticed that the northern, fur-covered creatures look just a slight bit more friendly. In order to tame them, as all animals are tamed, we use the tried and true method of mentally communicating with them, while offering some sort of food source. No matter how simple their minds may be, we should still hear something back.>2: Encircle the western lake"you see this body of water here? Also noticing long roots from the orbs sinking into the water, it appears this is how the orbs grow. With enough training with food, a small number of these beasts now cooperate with the Shavii.>>4168851In the deeper portions of the waters, colorful lights are seen, and upon closer inspection are, are cast by creatures with a fan of fins lit by some substance within them. When approached, they secrete a liquid that seems to be the source of the glow, which obscures the vision and the creature is soon gone.Along the coasts, caves dot the hills that are often filled with a fungus that releases disorienting spores when touched, some inflicted by it claiming the experience somewhat intoxicating.>>4169365In the plains, keen eyes spy off colored green rocks protruding from the ground, furthermore, farmers churning the soil notice these objects too, which when struck upon the outer coating reveals a shiny surface. >>41713971. The glowing ink becomes a valuable commodity for the Stone Lords, many take rubbing upon themselves in intricate patterns to light their night raids, and their dwellings. The new demands for these fish cause more ships in Snt'lcht to be produced, and obsidian spears become used by the Lo-hai fisher spawn. 2. The moss trenches are to be dug and planted around the coast of Snt'lcht, and the newfound Strm'bl fungus finds it's home in around the Sacred Water Basins, nurtured by the moisture and shared by all for the pleasurable disorientation to relax after successful raids.
>>4171397>Once of the first avenues of research that is fertility and nature magic, the ability to make crops grown faster and more abundant is an appealing prospect even if the threat of starvation no longer looms over the Cathi(nature magic/fertility magic research)> Experiments with shine stone (copper) are started to see if it can be made into tools and other commodities (moving from stone based tools and the like to copper-based tools and the like)

>>41747701.Undiscovered ground means new things to find! Feeling exciting at exploring, Sun Elves send a small group of single and rowdy Elves to settle on the coast of the marshlands to make a claim for Crilo. Trees are definitely needed!2. With all this exploring and excitement, Sun Elves are overlooking what their ancestors created and nurtured. Their primal nature magic; the energy to bend plants and earth to create wonderful and impossible buildings, To grow food in barren land. To summon storms at our enemies. To call upon the creatures of the sky, sea, and land to fight with us. Sun Elves will begin re-research and their magical abilities.
>>41747701. South the Lo-hai do roll and carve through the earth, teams of warspawn venting their rage upon the coast, with others behind them laying nodules of moss cultures. The warm airs of the south bring for moss-scent of a different breed, and it seems the Venerable Eldest has smelled it as well from the spare scent being carried, and has carved a stone sigil in the abyss of his grotto. A demand "/FEAST/GREEN/SOON/" 2.The piled stone and rocky soil is used to create reefs going out into the coastal waters from the stonestar grottos. The reefs are crafted from the stone, mantle cement and obsidian struts. The reefs are used as dwellings and obstructions to farm and trap fish, by feeding them moss and chum. In these reefs a new Lo-hai role come about, Breeders. Lo-hai who have solely developed female parts, losing the ability to regenerate properly in the event of mauling, yet are able to produce spawn at twice the rate of normal Lo-hai. Stone-lord's constantly wage district wars over the Breeders in their spawn-forts; and the Breeders receive steady food and no longer fight.

>>4174770A stir amongst the communtiy, that of genuine confusion and suprise, the talk of skirmishes, the moving of perhaps hopefully only lightly wounded people back into their homesteads. It's a disturbed night, things feeling unwell, bodys twitching and as moon blood drink, drink from willing bodys, a discussion is had!>Action 1.A meeting is gathered, to discuss the Teltian situation, moonblood, natch and humans gathered together across the communes to discuss how we should infact deal with them. Form a plan, form multiple in fact and ultimately vote on what seems best, underneath the light of our silver lady, of the moon.>Action 2For now, let's expand and check out the mountain more, take a look for marble and other things, post up tiny little shrines all across it and make it gleam and glow at night, for the glory of our goddess.
>>4174803Upon landing on the shores and traversing the marshlands, they are soon met by marshbeasts. Made of the marsh itself, they shamble across the deeper reaches of the marshland, openly hostile to any living creature they see.Re-research begins. Houses soon become littered in sprouting flowers.>>4175104Stone claws out from the shore into the sea to claim harvest of the fruits within.>>4175544Mining starts in the hills, providing a steady source of stone, with iron appearing in small quantities as a byproduct.>>4177794Mating rituals begin to often include the presentation of magically enhanced fruits and flowers.>>4178938(Land must be claimed prior to a permanent settlement. 1. Needing a place to hold and protect themselves, Sun Elves build a port town named Escuo. It will serve as a base of operations until the Marsh Beasts are dealt with. Building the port town carefully to not aggravate the monsters too much.2. It would be the easy choice to try to kill the Marsh Beasts, but this was their home for however long they lived here. We will research into our Magic to be able calm these beasts at least so we may live in peace together. They and we are of the land.
>>41800131."South! South!" Cry the Stone Lords, and south do the Lo-hai spawn roll. Where the coast of the lake water and salt-lake are separated by land, do the Lo-hai carve more trenches and Basins.2.On the southern coast of the lake waters, where moss trenches are already battled over, are colonists sent with ship and shell to lay a grotto named Tsl'ltch, where spawn are prepared for the Greatest Ranging yet.
>>4180013We have expanded outwards for some time, it is time to develop internally.First action, experiment with the stone pouring into our heartlands, and how it might be used better.Try combining the stone with other things to try and bond them together.Second action, scour our land for gold, and if we find any set up a mine there. Gold is Zumas metal, and the passion of all those who have passed on in glory.
>>4180013>finish claiming the rest of the forest to the west up to the river>apply breakthroughs in fire magic to make metalworking easier and faster
>>4180013>1: set up a permanent establishment in the western woodsMany valuable resources reside in these woods. As such, we establish a town by the name of "Wooded Encampment CardinalW". As such, we find ourselves in need of the wood. With no other options confronting us, it's our duty to cut these trees, so that they may be transported back to Lz 022.>lore: the shavii "axe"Unlike the axe of average races, the shavii don't use handles for any of their tools. This includes the axe. Seeing as they have the ability to levitate anything that isn't too heavy, nor directly harmful to them at close proximity, a shavii is able to milk the extra leverage from just an axe head, by levitating it slightly further away from his hand. This goes for basically all other tools, including knives, swords, and even shovels.
>>4181681Being close to the coast, the beasts seem to not come into contact with the elves unless they venture deeper in.Studies into magic prove difficult without experimenting on the beasts themselves, but the elves eventually come to believe they're learning new ways to sooth the beast after a series of tests are ran on poppies that appear considerably more joyful.>>4181841South the Lo-hai travel, discovering more numerous life both submerged and landed.(Converting second action to expansion)>>4182335The stone is shown to be an excellent building material and of great ornamental value if polished, but beyond this it has little use.Prospectors find small sources of gold in the edges of their borders on their island, claiming a significant source may be located in the area north of heir capital.>>4182348Settlers continue their expansions west, stopping once they reach a raging river.Though taking considerable effort and skill, magic is enhanced allowing a smith to heat the metal he is working on making his job much more efficient.>>4183291Life is peaceful in these wetlands, aside from the occasional avian assault when disrupting their roosts. While not thick and workable as other trees, they are plentiful, providing much use to the Shavii. Rafts are often made of the trees for transport and then disassembled to be cut in the capital.
>>4184050Begin grandly phasing out our older cobbled buildings with cut and polished granite, to better shelter our people when the sun does not shineBegin erecting a truly massive monument to Zuma, a pyramid of gargantuan proportions. Get our brightest minds, a conclave of priests, nobles and scions to work on gathering information on what is needed for the project so that construction may begin.
>>4184066>LorepostThe Necraket and their closest family call to order yet another grand celebration, this time in a curious location of flat land, north of Zumakamas, a fair trek from the settlement, though they themselves appeared to not be present. This gave the builders time to get around to improving the housing across the thriving colonies, as well as another excuse for celebrations. This time though they are of a more tame nature rarely enforced during impromptu revelling, paradoxically stirring excitement as citizens ponder the occasion.Five days of grand celebrations occur, with the usual host of activities dotted around. Skullcarvers set up shop nearby to carve sacred symbols of heroism for those who place well in games of sport or intelligence.Large hunting parties open their doors to this years new adults, inviting the men who have recently been given their mask to take up arms and join chaseMany partake in games of chance, displays of beauty or extravagance, indulge in purchasing fine textiles or overindulge in drink. Mock pairups are held where family elders go about introducing potential future brides and grooms to eachother, or arranging weddings, a popular pastime for those at the end of their lives.Armed Crosis soldiers set up camp nearby the main one, focussing almost entirely on drilling and stirring their men into a zealous frenzy. Armed men separate from the camp to provide protection and keep a general order to the events, notably the more debauched and raunchy events that are prone to start fights, also being tasked with attempting to recruit more young men to their ranks. At the end of the fifth day of celebration, Necraket Sekraphon Eclipon emerges for the first time in the celebrations to a satisfied crowd, to announce the purpose behind the celebrations. They declare to all gathered that this land is to be the future site of a grand monument to Zuma, and the celebrations held have endowed it with positive energy. The sages and omens all return with encouraging news, much to the applause of all attending. The speech is marked off by a declaration that constructing the pyramid is to be declared a Sacred Duty, such that all those who die while assigned to it are automatically considered to have glorious deaths, sparking a new even greater drive for worker recruitment.
>>41840501.On the southern coast of the lake waters, where moss trenches are already battled over, are colonists sent with ship and shell to lay a grotto named Tsl'ltch, where spawn are prepared for the Greatest Ranging yet.2. Great moss trenches are carved south straddling the hills between the salt-lake and the grotto homes.
>>4184050> expand southward from the forests down on the plains> construct fish farms along the western river
>>41840501.We're not much for research; we're more hands-on learning, but our elders didn't outsmarted the Vile Hoard with sticks. Sun Elves try to capture marsh beasts to study using traps and bait.2. Using our Nature magic, we will try to figure a way to tame these beasts and finally be able to expand in the future. We still need trees!.
>>4184050Debate, annoyance and so many things happened, celebrations and more, but, it was time nonetheless to actually go through with what was agreed upon.>Action 1Moonblood descend upon the town of Telt in the dead of nights, no one perrished in the skirmishes that had occured and an explanation is given, hopefully written in a trade tongue.A simple explantion of assumption of them joining and an overeagerness to see the world had resulted in our expansion. Some gifts include cheese, dried goat jerky and various babels and dolls, commonly holding symbols of the moon goddess.>Action 2.Let's actually build those damn roads and include one to Telt! Help infrasture build up, see how our city's are rising, our people are doing better, try to see what we can do to improve, beyond using the fertility ritual, though we are using that quite often and our vegetation is undoubtedly exotic by now!
>>4184050>1: claim the forest in the northThe trees here are less dense than that of Wooded Encampment CardinalW. As such, that makes this territory quite desirable. The scenic views provided in and around all these trees make a perfect place for us to sit down and relax at the end of a hard work week. Almost like a vacation spot, where we may live amongst nature, without the burden of busy workers surrounding us on all sides.>2: experiments with summoningback at Lz 022, researchers are trying to figure out how and why we are able to summon our young into existence, designing them how we please, as far as height and the length of their limbs goes. We wonder if this can be used to summon creatures that don't look like us, and that are far more powerful than we could ever imagine. Any couples willing to volunteer to aid in these experiments are welcome, though it is not recommended that they sign up multiple times in a row, as nobody wants more young than they can manage.
>>4184066These new imposing structures will shelter the Necraztzi for countless generations. The idea is quite simple, to stack stone in an easy shape, but under the surface it will be much more difficult, as the stone will need to be cut in large blocks and transported across the waters, assuming it is to be constructed on the great grasslands of the capital. Many, large ships will be needed to haul these stones in any meaningful timeframe.>>4186329Ichor is spilled in the heat of the migration south, providing healthy moss to consume for new generations.>>4186509Hills and ocean are sighted at the end of their journey.Large, sturdy fish, adapted to the harsh river water are caught and wrestled for feasting.>>4186553It's not long after the elves venture too deep into the marsh that they are beset by the beasts, making their attempts at traps difficult, but in the midst of a struggle, one elf not yet seen is able to use a component of the trap, being a net, to subdue a beast. The elves manage to haul the beast back from the marsh, but in doing so, they discover it beginning to release a deep moan and start to convulse along with portions of its leafy body falling off the further from the marsh it is taken.Attempts to quell the rage of the marshbeasts are less than fruitful, only seeming to sprout flowers from a charging beast before it reaches its prey. Only when one member of the party hauling back the initial captured beast tried to use a similar spell did they notice it to both calm and heal it, but not entirely. Perhaps the magic is too weak as of now, or simply cannot progress past that stage.>>4188770Wary are the inhabitants of Telt, but they accept the gifts and hope the two peoples can exist in peace.Roads are a welcome and needed addition to the hilly terrain so often struggled upon by the moonbloods. Advisors conclude that it may be in the interest of the nation to expand their border southeast to claim the fertile lands just beyond their reach.>>4189299This parcel of land is quite soothing and serene, littered with patches of grassland concealing the sky with a canopy of leaves above. It was a short time after settling the land that one Shavii noticed a strange creature beyond the treeline. Standing a great height, and walking on all fours with its long head hung high, it sighted the Shavii before letting loose a burst of air past its lips with a harsh shout before galloping off into the distance. Worrisome.Experiments on summoning new Shavii would allow certain features to be formed in younglings. Only through witnessed examples are they able to visualize, as raw imagination proves too difficult to focus upon, the Shavii are able to copy features such as the ears of those new pets seen in the nation, or the wings of a bird, though their application purely aesthetic.
>>4189466Absolutely no expense shall be spared. As the logistical necessity for great boats becomes apparent, the choice to invest in harbours begins to appear wise, almost prophetic,Construct another harbour next to the granite mine.Secondly, organise a summons of our most experienced ferry captains. From their pooled knowledge about the strengths and weaknesses of our current cargo carrying ships, devise greater, heavier, and far grander vessels to transport the huge quantities of granite we need moved.
>>41894661.Hmm, it seems our magic is a little to weak right now. We will commune with the spirits of this world in a effort for them to teach us to better our magic.2.Expand eastward on the island.
>>4189466>1 follow that uh... thing!whatever we saw in the northern forest was surely intelligent, in some capacity. We must be careful in establishing out state of friendship. An ambassador is selected, and he is to lead the way in our visitation of these beasts. Now, where did it gallop off to?In our attempts to speak to this beast, or beasts, we will use the same mental connectivity we've been using so far. Hopefully, if we study them long enough, we may be able to understand the language in which they think.>2: incorporate lizard tailsIt takes lots of mental processing power to stand on two needle legs, without assistance. So much so that our minds are impaired when we stand up. However, a creature with an absurdly long tail was recently discovered. This could be the key to our balance issues. And so, with this creature's special feature in mind, we try to summon young shavii who may bare it just as well. Hopefully, they will be able to stand and think, just as well as our ancestors did in the weightlessness of space.
>>41894661. Scout prod south, and tremble in awe at the carpets of thick bladed moss across the land. This must be the green feast the Venerable Eldest's sigils spoke of.2.A system of carved sigils upon stone slabs forms a rudimentary history of the Lo-hai, with the slabs preserved by the alter spawn of the Eldest.
>>4189466>expand into the unclaimed plains east and west of lusk>breaks through healing magic have been made that allow for the healing of grievous wounds and grave sicknesses
>>4189471With the addition of a harbor at the base of the mine, stone is considerably hastened and easily transported along the waters on new ships built for large masses of resources.>>4192327The spirits are vague and confusing, but with enough concentration and rational thought, the elves improve their existing magics. Though they feel it may not be enough if they wish to fully cajole the beasts. The land is settled, and a coast seems to end the island.>>4192398Much too fast was the creature to follow, but the witness of it knows it had fled eastward, but no scouts had been able to find anything but its hoofprints continuing east. Settlers move this way in the meantime. This new appendage seems to work, allowing ease of thought while standing, but at the cost of increased focus when a Shavii is required to move with the extra mass.>>4192549Prancing about the new luscious lands, scouts spy what appears to be a settlement of humanoids, but not much more information can be revealed without first revealing themselves to potential enemies. New creatures not seen before are also found along the river, walking on four short limbs with a long tail and thick flesh, they hiss and growl at intruders. As far back as oral tradition recalls, the history of the Lo-hai is set in stone to be cherished and remembered for centuries to come.>>4192585Land is taken, and maps marked with new information and borders. With the application of new magic, common injuries and sicknesses become a problem only to those living far from practitioners of the arcane.
>>4194545Finally, all is going well enough to focus once more upon expansion.Order settlers to flock down river to the edge of the wetlands, both actions on pushing our borders.
Rolled 18 (1d20)>>4194545>Action 1Well then, let's expand the way we were recommended to then, if it looks good, then it's worth doing.>Action 2We've seen some effect on the land from that ritual we've been using, let's start trying to find a way to expand it, to make our lands verdant, strong and to change it fully, as reflection of the moon goddess.
>>4194545>expand west across the river and over the plans to the western wetlands>Break throughs in magic have allowed for enchantments to be made commonplace for weapons and armor. weapons are sharper lighter and hit harder, armor is more durable, offers more protection and is lighter.
>>41945451.Confounded beasts! We wish to co-exist together, but you're making this very hard. Well, we won't give up just yet. Our ancestors never did so shall we. We will begin a ritual of process calling upon the Spirits to help us remember our magic. We will create a large circle between Relb and Pexie where we will sacrifice our best food and jewelry to entice them.2. Hmm, the island isn't that large, but it suitable. We will continue expanding eastward while we mapping the land when we will better scout it.
>>4194545>1: travel eastfrom the point at which we last trailed the hoofed beast, we continue east. Wherever the creature went, it was in a real hurry. If we consult it, we might be able to bring calm to its panic.>2: claim the eastern lakeAs much as we've voiced concern with traveling east, there's a whole other body of water here, which we haven't even begun to claim. Just like the last, we hope that it will bring more resources to Lz 022.

>>41945451. The soil of Lo-hai hills is prospected, seeking what may be hidden below the earth.2.The Lo-hai haul one of their ship skiffs into the river, seeing how far the current will take them. These strange hissing legged creatures should they become aggressive will be hunted, but otherwise they are left to be. These strange two-legs are approached and offered an obsidian spear, as clearly something horrible has happened to these people, stripping them of their shells.
