The Hive world, a polluted radioactive desert, plagued by toxic fumes and acid rains fueled by the industry of a galactic need. Hive cities, a dozen towering archaeologies that rise for miles and stretch across the planet for miles more. Each one housing billions of people, most in cramped inhumane spaces.
Deep in the foul underhive is where you live, where the poorest of the poor and those criminals who have escaped the law live and suffer. Abandoned by those above the power has long since been turned off and resources are scarce. The law and order of the Imperium sees little light in this place only appearing when dangerous chaos rears its head, snuffing it out with ruthless efficiency. Gangs rule diving up territory by those who have the most strength and can fight to hold it.

Who are you found yourself here.

Freedom Separatist ; Our family was never fine with imperial rule to begin with, and neither where we. This wasn t only because of what we have seen of the imperium, in our life and has a guardsmen. There is another reason as well. Through the generations of our family, they have always preserved and give to their sons an ancient declaration of the great age. This declaration speaks of the rights every human as of freedom, liberty and equality. A man can create is own future by is own forces and has no tyrannical chains that restrain him. Free man togheter through brotherhood and hard work where able to begin the golden age. A man shouldn t be shot for sport, obey to every whim of corrupt nobles and priests, sacrifice himself for an idol of gold instead of is fellow brothers or need to crawl through garbage for eat some rotten food.

On the cover of the book there is an eagle, but far different to the one of the imperium. The eagle eyes are both open and it has only one head looking to the sky, it s wings are towards the ground protecting a planet.

This text has inspire us : mankind will return once again to be what once was, destroying the imperium, xenos or anyone else in is way. Mankind will be free !

Khornite Scavvie it is.

After years of survival in the underhive constantly fighting with and against other scavvies for the barest resources needed to survive you have come to embrace the truth. Strength and skill in combat are the only measures of combat. If you cannot fight you die. With this aspiration you trained every moment with the other scavvies in your gang and killed with ruthless efficiency. However one day all this would change. An ambush struck your gang killing all of its members but you. In terrible blood-lust you slaughtered every man and women who dared attack your people. At the end of the day you were coated in blood, your machete stained a dark red and the barrel of your stub revolver black from gunpowder. Not all this blood was your enemies, mortally wounded you fell to an unconscious state.
In your dreams sat a figure encased in elaborately carved iron armor decorated with spikes and horn. Its throne made of brass and surrounded by countless skulls. You could feel its eyes boring deep into your soul and it found it acceptable.
Suddenly awake you find your wounds gone and your body stronger and healthier than ever. You know not the name of the thing that visited it you but you know what it wants; Blood and Skulls. Alone but strong how will you feed your new benefactor.

Searching through the slaughtered remnants of the attackers and your old gang you make sure to take every weapon and scrap of armor you can find. Most of it is the garbage your used too, rusted metal pipes and stubs more likely to blow up in your hand then shoot the enemy. The only thing of real value you do find is a shotgun and a few shells on the body. You also take fallen metal plates found plentifully down in the underhive and bolt it to your leather giving a ramshackle metal plating to your armor

> gained a few basic gear. (Leather armors, machetes, concrete sledgehammers, stubbers that are unlikely to self-destruct)

>Upgraded rough leather armor to metal plated leather armor.

You have decided in your goal to spread the bloodshed as part and wide as possible you must gather yourself a new gang with you at its head leading the slaughter. It shall be named the Tyrant Butchers and become not just the terror of the underhive but the whole hive world!

>How shall you gather this gang?

To your knowledge there are hundreds of gangs within the block and dozens within your sublock alone. You only know the location of a few of them as your old gang would trade with them or raid them for supplies.

> The rippers – A violent gang bent on committing agonizing torture to anyone they can get their hands on using their infamous rippers. It is several rusted blades on a belt spinning in a circular motion. Supposedly they based it off of a tool they saw one of the imperium’s men use when hunting down a terrible beast.

> The Abandoned – A bunch of ex manufactoum workers abandoned to the lower depths. Rumor has it they managed to get a old factory line working and now supplies the best weapons in the block to numerous other gangs.

> The Faceless Ones – apparently worshiping some crazed man as there leader they tear the flesh from their faces as a sign of loyalty leaving only a scarred mess as the remains of a face. There fanaticism to fight to the death is well known.

>The violent Rats – By far the largest gang you know of, they seem to make up some of the most pitiful scavvies you’ve seen, but there numbers seem to have gathered them the ability to kill the old gang hold the passage way higher into the block and because of this has a stranglehold on the food supply. At least the food that isn’t the animals that feed on the dead.

>which gang will you tackle and give a general plan of attack.

>>4061826
Kidnap violent rats and make them kill eachother, selecting the ones that survive for more advanced training. Build a small cadre of fanatically loyal and bloodthirsty men who owe their strength to you and then set them to further kidnapping and "blood blessing" recruits by making them kill eachother.

Scout their grounds for know their patrols, and for see any rumor they talk .

After that attack sentinels and small groups, kill and sacrifice them to the being that has heal us.

You wait and watch for hours, frustration building and bloodlust raising but nothing happens. You do catch some information from your listening through from their chatter. Two of the scavvies resting against the stairwell talk.

too bad this isn’t a high roll quest.

> 1 success
> You follow their leader and his guards into the fetid pathways, but he senses something following him.

You see their leader, easy to pick apart as he is the only one that appears to have a semblance of hygiene; a tall scavvie, wielding what looks to be an old rusted autogun but clearly working with the way he is holding it. He leaves from the bottom floor of his territory taking 3 guards with him and 2 packages. Sneaking around the hab complex to the other side you follow down several pathways, them speaking in hushed tones. At first they seem direct in their path but slowly something seems off with their turns, it almost seems like they are going in circles. As you follow them around a corner your sledge hammer bangs against a protruding pipe causing it to ring out, Their leader turns almost instantly pointing the autogun in down the alley you are hiding behind. “I knew there was something following us. Get hunting rats!” shoving his gun in your direction as two of the guards unsheathe their weapons and start running in your direction.

Alright back into the world of 40K

> A Scavvie; you were born in these depths and know not the sky or space them being merely myth and legend. Being part of one gang or another for most of your life you learned to survive and fight in endless shifting anarchy of the underhive.

“God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
2 Corinthians 4:6 ESV

For weeks all you could think of was survival, from the scavvies wanting to take your equipment off of your corpse to the Adeptus Arbites patrols that seeked your public execution. It took all your effort to just live. All that changed though when you found a book. Bound and impeccably unstained, you found it resting on a jutting beam split through a rotted box. At first you were unsure, but any source of entertainment was a blessing down here but you did not realize how much of a blessing this would be. It took you three days to binge the book and through this your life was changed. This god was nothing like Those of chaos scorned in the Imperial Infantryman's Uplifting Primer. This one spoke of peace and love, forgiveness and humility. A far cry from the brutal hegemony of the imperium. You can bring this to the world, change it for the better! Finding this book must have been a gift from the LORD himself. Christ’s sacrifice will not be in vein!

Searching for an audience to preach to you find a gathering of underhivers in a squalid makeup of a market. Trading what little goods they have between each other for food and resources to survive. in the back you even see some gangers forcing some young Scavvies to join them under threat. These are not the best of the imperium but as Matthew 5:5 said: Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. You step on to the highest surface you can and proselytize.

Crit-fail = An Adeptus Arbite squad is in the crowd hunting for a deserter. They hear your foul heresy and recognize your face.
0 = They have heard similar speeches before. They then brought death and distruction before being killed to a man by the Adeptus Arbites. You are chased out and attacked.
1 = The Skavvies here are skeptical, Such words are too good to be true, but a few with nothing to lose join you. However the gangers see you as a potentially new enemy.
2 = Several harken to your word, Any change from this hellish existence is welcome. The gangers look at you as nothing but another Prophet doomed to death by those above.
3 = Those many of those below you are enraptured with your words. This is the way out, this must be the truth! There must be more out there more promised to the sufferers!
Crit-Success = All those listening are possessed by a holy fervor. God has come to save them from this hell, and they shall pave the path to righteousness and a new world devoid of such suffering.
7 = the seven churches, seven spirits, seven stars, seven seals. God has shown you the path forward in all its splendor. Automatic success and +15 to current action

>2 Successes - Several hearken to your word, Any change from this hellish existence is welcome. The gangers look at you as nothing but another Prophet doomed to death by those above.
You speak the word of your lord, the word of the book which promises salvation in the next life if we are but good and accept the sacrifice of this son Jesus Christ. Many of the Scavvies surround your makeshift dais, appearing enthralled following your every word. Your speech is more passion than learned debating, as you have never spoken to a crowd in this way before in your life. Howerer this faith has inspired something in you that gives you the strength of spirit to sway these unfortunate souls. In the back of the crowd you see those less captured, gangers wielding crude compliments of violence. They appear to be discussing you but bear no hostile intent; although eyes are watching.

As you end your Sermon some two dozen of those listening come to speak to you. They proclaim their faith in your god, a chance at new life. They ask to learn more of this faith and what they can do to aid your Lord and bring Godliness back into this realm.

It's been a faggot long enough, I'm going to go ahead and come clean. I'm the QM that's started and flaked on at least a dozen 40k cult-related quests over the years, and several others besides, most notably the Superpowered Neckbeard and Dark Lord Civ quest threads. The original Tzeentch marine quest, Nurglite agri-world quest, and more recently, the feudal world "New Emperor" quest and several more that I've forgotten, along with some cyberpunk capeshit a long time ago that never went anywhere, with the kinetic energy manipulating anarcho-capitalist, /fit/fag that could disintegrate molecular bonds on-contact, and the older man that could take on the abilities of a different historical figure once per month if anyone remembers that. Most of the minor threads I abandoned when I burnt out instead of sticking it through like a faggot and I have no excuse for that, but I lost the drive to continue the Dark Lord Civ quest when I realized that I completely fucked the plot by mismanaging a once in a lifetime opportunity to let you possess your son's body and give me +400 updates of the same training while your wife/mother went well on her way to Thoth-Amon tier sorcery instead of having your soul thrown down into hell and QMing your effort to try and escape intact with what you already knew, the Superpowered Neckbeard quest I abandoned aside from an unforgivably brief third thread a few months back half because of the workload when my parent's house burned down and half because I couldn't find the motivation to set aside free time from college coursework to run it until the spark was gone, and last, I swear to God, my grandfather died not a day after the 40k Christian Cult quest and when I got over the grief in a month, I let my depression keep me from starting a second thread and picking up where we left off instead of letting it lie dead like a faggot.
>>
>>4067447
I'm a fucking faggot that's been keeping this buried inside for months, every single fucking day I get onto >>>/qst/ and vote in someone's threads and more than often than not I have one going because I've been doing this for too damned long not to but I'm too much of a faggot to push myself to keep the quest going instead of wallowing in shame and starting another when a week's gone by and my dumbass thinks nobody's going to notice a nearly identical writing style to the last one-shot I wasn't honest enough to say was and had too much of a stick up my ass to lie to myself and force me to believe that it wouldn't be, because then it would be the truth and I was too much of a lazy fucking coward to see it. This isn't the thread to be posting a confession like this, but I've been running a ((("""Oneshot""")))) centered around chaosfaggotry here >>>4062329 and I've been enough of a subhuman faggot to be samefagging as an anon in my own damned thread to keep the conversation going because you aren't retarded and knew it would be more of the same shit and ignored it so you wouldn't be let down again because I'm a fucking faggot and the two that are there are probably hoping against hope that THIS random thread will be any different, even if it says in the title that it's a Oneshot. If you have anything to say that you've been wanting to, post it there and don't derail Adherent's thread. If this quest lasts longer than five threads he'll have been 50 times the QM I've ever been to you.
>>
>>4067451
Writing is what I do, it's the only thing I'm fucking capable of doing and I love you faggots more than anyone or any community or anything but my own damned flesh-and-blood family on this fucking earth, but apparently not enough until now to be honest with who the fuck I am and what I've been doing: Jack fucking shit, it's all a downward spiral because I'm a weak faggot with less backbone than a bowl of fucking jello but I'm tired of it. I swear to God I'm going to be different and continue at least one single fucking quest to the end or at the absolute fucking least ten threads so I can point to it and tell myself that I did while I'm shifting through the catalog and contemplating parental-locking >>>/qst/ on my computer so I'll have no choice but to finally stop disappointing you with stillborn threads. Fuck I forgot to mention, the Mythic RPG Iseakai quest was me, and I left because I didn't have the spine to kill off Dante when he got in over his head because he was one of the most enthusiastic posters and in my top five favourite "characters" that weren't characters at all, but fucking YOU beautiful, brilliant motherfucking bastards. The Eldritch God of Bliss quest to, while I remember, but I abandoned that because I'm shit-tier mathematician and realized that I didn't have the fortitude to run the #1000s of threads it would take for you to reach a victory condition. If any of you are curious, the magic systems in the Dark Lord Civ quest and Eldritch Abomination quest was 100% improvised on the fly while I was writing it, almost nothing was planned out beforehand and 90% of the worldbuilding was a handful of bulletpoints in a google doc I pieced together from my scattered dumpster fires of settings, your conjecture, and what I thought sounded cool at the time.
>>
>>4067453
Jesus Christ I don't know what the fuck I'm doing and am going to regret writing this wall of text the split-fucking-second I hit post but I'm still writing because I can't stop myself from caring enough to fucking post. Adherent, I apologize for derailing your quest with my off-topic horse-shit, the only reason I have is because the /QTG/ is on autosage and I'm too much of a spineless son of a bitch to post another with this as the OP and following posts. If any of you anons want to talk to me, I'm not going to respond to a single quote in this thread, take it to this fucking >>>4062329 cesspool, because every one of us knows there's been a hundred more like it and that's easy enough to replace. I'm probably only telling you the same shit most of you already suspected because you have functioning brains and my delusions of anonymity don't change that, and no matter how you feel about all of this shit one way or another, I'm not posting because I want your forgiveness, because I haven't forgiven myself and I won't until I've done something to make up for at least a year and change of this shit, I'm posting because I'm tired of the slow, gnawing, nihilistic fucking faggot shit shame. Lay into me there, I swear to God Almighty that I'll reply to every single one of your posts no matter how long it takes. This is the last I'll be making in this thread, at least from this IP, because I fucked it up enough earlier with my Corn for the Khorne flakes memes, and I'll make a lesser confession that he's always been my favourite Chaos God because I have shit taste and that's a tiny, 1% of 1%, if unforgivable reason I stopped posting some of those cultist threads.

Good night, I need to stop procrastinating on some essays for the rest of the morning as I'm a chronic insomniac faggot but I'll be checking that thread.

Speaking to your new disciples gathered around you, you declare to them that “A temple must be made for our God, A place of dwelling for the holy spirit and for our moral souls. Seek out that which is abandoned and make it new.” Your followers begin discussing with one another a possible location when one brings up a nearby abandoned Hab block with two floors that have not fully collapsed. They go on their way gathering what little possessions they own before following the one who knows the location. You follow them their answering questions about your LORD on the path.

Once arriving it is as the Savvie said, some barely standing floors, smashed between two adjacent collapsed buildings leaving only a small crawl space to get inside. It is lined with the trash often abandoned on these floors but there is space for what you need. Your flock quickly begins working, cleaning the area of the filth and abandoning it into the alleys.

> Gained territory- Cleaned collapsed hab sub-block (room for about 50 people cramped)

Leaving your followers to their task you set about finding a source of food beyond the little Basedlens Viridians that can be stolen or bought as you doubt it will be enough to feed this many.

Crit-fail = Ambushed searching for these supplies you must fight your way out. (Initiate combat)
0 = Scavvies have been following you for quite some time, those of not your flock and their number growing. You expect them to attack you soon.
1 = You find little other than the abandoned packaging of Basedlens Viridians. To think something could grow down here, some food other then what scrapes are thrown into the underhive was too good to be possible.
2 = A path upwards and guards, Perhaps they have trade with the upperworlders and you could either convert or convince them of some deal.
3 = A fetid cave carved through soil long ago, perhaps by someone trying to escape. Sad to think they would have only found the terrors of the surface. However there is life here, mushrooms in plentiful bounty. You are not one for knowing types of plants but your faith in your god says these are edible.

Crit-Success = An Crate collapsed into a hole of mangled steel and iron. It seems surprising that it has not been found by scavengers and raided for its contents already. Prying it open you found a godsend, thousands of packages of Basedlens Viridians still air sealed and fresh. This would last you for months.
7 = the seven churches, seven spirits, seven stars, seven seals. God has shown you the path forward in all its splendor. Automatic success and +15 to current action

When wondering why when rereading my text it seemed wrong I just realized 4chan changed s.o.ylens to baselens. Hilarious that it edits S.o.y not even sure what I can do about that.

God must have guided your path as you walked direct and with purpose almost as if your legs knew your destination before you mind. You came upon it a crack in the flooring and an untouched crate beneath it. It only took some prying before you revealed the generous bounty. Quickly you returned and gathered your followers with you. Upon seeing such a blessing they praised the LORD for his generosity. Many had never eaten more than scraps since they were born in these depths and the malnutrition showed, they almost were as starved dogs. They could eat their fill and more for months with these supplies.

> Gained 10 months of filling food

perhaps rationing may be worthwhile to have it stretch on longer even with it you would feed these folk more than they are used too, or perhaps taking Jesus’s words to heart you could spread the supplies to the needy here as there are many.

You return back to your Hazardous floors of the Hab block you call your new home. It is now clean and what leathers and cloths your followers owned now line some of the floors for sleeping and resting space but little else is here. Still it is more then you’ve had in weeks.
>>
>>4068282
>We are now going to shift into actions taking a week now that you have more of a cult and basic stability in food. As well start having more cult centered options.

>Can set rationing levels.
>> Heavy rationing. Would apply the Malnourished debuff in combat having their max health be 3 wounds. 50% food usage.
>> Light Rationing would apply the hungry debuff in combat having their max health be 4 wounds. 75% food usage.
>> No Rationing. No Debuff so health is 5 wounds. 100% food usage

Being fed more than they ever have before your followers don’t question the rationing. Clearly you are chosen and act as god wills it.

>12 (7.8125) Months of filling food left.

>Have them continue to improve, maintain and expand your living space. You can Prioritze certain expansions like clearing new floors for living space, improving the safety and structural stability, Converting a floor to a church with makeshift pews and a lectern.

You have your flock continue to Repair and Expand the Hab block although it is slow going without any tools other than the crude ones they craft and their hands. The entrance now more resembles a door and does not require crawling to enter. Both floors no longer look as if they risk collapsing at any moment due to rough columns created from rubble. Half of the next floor up is cleared out as well removing broken rubble shattered glass and a most of a collapsed wall.

> expanded territory – Refurbished hab sub-block Can hold about 70 people, No long in danger of collapsing.

>Search for a hiver gang to trade food for other valuable equipment, Manufacturing, construction, anything you may need.

Taking a few of the most capable looking of your flock you travel to the market where you previously preached. You quickly find a scavvie gang trading in tools of poor shape and whatever guns they no longer have hands for. You show them the food you brought and ask to look at their goods to trade. They look at you and your followers like hungry predators but they comply.

You could haggle to get better prices, but it may be safer just to take what you can for these prices and leave before they get second thoughts.

You quickly trade trade 4 and a half months of your food for some basic weapons and armor to defend yourselves. As well to make construction easier you buy a set of chisels, hammers, saws nails and a couple of pickaxes; all rusted and damaged in some way but useable. This cut your food supplies almost in half but it should be worth it. You take the supplies and return back to your parish as quickly as you can, avoiding envious glares from those in the passages.

Once home you make sure that some of your followers are armed with the equipment you bought and show everyone the construction tools that should make expanding and repairing this place far easier.

>Have them continue to improve, maintain and expand your living space: Convert a floor to a church with makeshift pews and a lectern.

"Let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them. "According to all that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, just so you shall construct it.”
Exodus 25:8-9
You read this verse to them and explain to them how a house of god is needed to have him dwell among us and better bless us in our task. Deciphering designs from the holy book you have them drag in large metal and concrete scraps. The flock sets about making a temple to the Lord as best they can. With the new construction tools they are able to shape the scraps into makeshift pews and set up a lectern at the front. One follower even finds a torn red sheet and lays it in front of the lectern. Disipte not having the gold or silver described in the holy book you are still proud of the temple and your followers for their dedication. It takes a full week but enough of the pews are fashioned for your entire following to sit and listen, this centralized location for it makes it far easier to reach your whole flock at once with the holy words.

>Continue to preach to the public
Bringing a few of your followers you once again go to the market area when you first preached and bought your tools. Your followers place a small box they crafted so that you may stand above crowd. Holding the book to your chest you step up on the box, curious eyes following you and once again begin to preach.

For a week come and speak of your lord, becoming a familiar face in this part of the underhive. Your speech extols the virtues of charity and patience. of peace and love even in this dark pit. While not elegant your preaching speaks to the very souls of these sufferers. Every day more and more of the unfortunate before you ask to join your flock and with grace you accept them. The first step to have them as loyal allies will be to make them believe in your faith. It will align them to you and aid them in resisting the cruelties or any deals these Flayed Vultures may try. 2 = Several appreciate your words and faith and plan to come to your church in following congregations curious about your faith. The leader is willing to enter an defensive alliance with you. If these Vultures attack either group the other will help.
3 = After hearing of the terrifying fates of those who were attacked by the Flayed Vultures the gang is open to your words of faith and forgiveness. They happily agree to go to your church and enter into a defensive alliance.
