Last time, we managed our empire, started the construction of a port in Westteron and launched a great campaign of extermination of monsters and beasts in the north to the Dark Forest. Next, you and Lazarus showed Gweyr that the reassure of the palace of Thoreric was safe al along in a vault under the castle, the elf librarian was enraged, to the amusement of your husband, and you followed her after she left to calm her down. You managed to make her smile and decided to take a stroll in the city. While eating tasty pastries you discussed about the treasure and asked her what she thought was the best way to use it.

After finishing eating, you are taking a stroll in the city. Gweyr is relaxed and if you weren't there you wouldn't know she was so angry just a couple of hours ago. Every commoner you come across move out of the way and bow down to you and each guard that see you stand at attention and salute. You are discussing with your friend about her proposals earlier.

As you walk you think back when she accepted to teach you the languages of the world.

It's time to go back to the castle, Gweyr's anger is far away now, and you have a clear idea of what to do now. After dinner, you go to your bedroom for a well deserved rest . . . Or rather, for a couple of hours of fun and then rest. You are in front of your mirror, wearing a short white nightgown, showing your legs and exposing your shoulders. As you brush your hair Lazarus come up from behind you and embraces you resting his hand on your pregnant belly.

EVENTS :

- Lazarus finished the purification process of purifying the girl of his harem. It seems that it didn't manage to do what you asked him to try, and the girls can't maintain a more demonic appearance after being purified. But they still keep part of what they were before, those that had colored skintones are now of several shades of blue, their horns became smaller and less rough. They are thankful to you and Lazarus, their love and dedication for him still deeply rooted, you had ideas but now you have to decide what to do with them.

- Currency : The scholars and researchers, with help of merchants, economist, money changer and moneylender, created a currency for your own empire. Made of gold, mix of gold and silver, or only silver, it is minted with Lazarus wearing his fearsome helmet, your delicate face shwoing a caring smile or the symbol of the Drack Empire. It wil take time to introduce in large quantity, and more so for everyone to use it, but the innate value of the material used mean that it already have a set value compared to some other currency used. + Thank to an active extermination campaign and the help of native demi-human, a path going from the northern mountain range of Drack Realm, along the river until it reach the "nice" part of the forest, was cleared, free of beasts and monsters, helping transport and securing this zone, making it relatively safe.

- The history of the demi-human race is largely a matter of oral tradition, with the elders teaching the young. There is also carving in various materials and mural, along with all kind of primitive of early form of art. Thank to extensive work started by Sebastian Morebarr, supported by Gweyr and with the help of many scholars, a full study of the history and culture of the semi-human has been undertaken and is now completed. Obviously a large part of their ancient history is veiled in mysteries.

- As you reviewed the Bestiary with Lazarus, you suddenly got an idea, or rather, a revelation. A place to gather all matters of beasts, monster and exotic animals from all around the world. You want it to be known by everyone, even emperors and king, and make it a true wonder. Lazarus is thrilled by this idea, and the two of you immediately start working on it. A budget is secured, engineers and architects are gathered, famous hunters and adventurers are summoned as councillors to help with the most complex task, the means of keeping the creatures in one place without them escaping. You even ask the Tharque Ambassador if he can help, and he replies that indeed, he knows a thing or two about holding beasts thank to the coliseum of his homeland and will gladly help.

- You ask Shelur and Aleanor to start training all the maids in Dracks Keep so they can defend themselves. They accept this task and tell you that with one session per day everyday, it can be done in 8 weeks. You also explain that you need them for a very special mission. Without giving too many details about who they were, you ask them to train the 22 Tieflings of Lazarus Harem, explaining to your friend that they need to stay alert and report to you or Lazarus if something happens. As they are about to leave you discreetly tell Shelur to try and show some restrains with the maids, but she simply grins and tells you she'll see what she can do. You wonder how she is going to deal with the demi-human maids.

He's going to report on the mission you gave him, regarding Orelliel and Lazarus's father, maybe you should tell Lazarus what's going on, or keep this report secret, depending on what is said.

You think it's best to wait and tell him later, you wouldn’t want him to be overcome by his emotions and start destroying everything. Later, you are seated in an armchair, in a lounge in the royal wing of the castle. There is a knock on the door, and the spymaster enters the room.

>"Greetings your highness. May your reign be long and prosperous. . . . Excuse my frankness, but have you changed anything about yourself ? You seem very different from the last time I saw you." he says as he bows to you.

>"Greetings, Spymaster. And yes, a lot of things happened, and I have enjoyed certain blessings. But I assure you nothing changed about who I am. Now, I believe you have some things to report about your mission." you tell him.

>"Indeed, I managed to infiltrate the great archives of the Great Imperial Palace, and I looked for any documents speaking of an incident in the region that you had mentioned to me. I did read that a column of soldiers from the Order of the Light went missing, the local lord was asked to investigate and with his men he found the remains of the column. According to his own report, they were massacred with extreme violence, some of them in several pieces scattered over several meters, others burned until nothing but black skeletons remained. They concluded that a great magical beast, or a powerful heretical sorcerer was the culprit and started searching, they found nothing, and as no other similar incident occurred in the region, the conclusion was that it was another group of unlucky soldiers dying in this violent world." he explains.

>"So it was really because they met a group of zealous soldiers of the Light on the road. Are you sure there was no other intervention ? A third party in this story ?" you inquire.

>"I made sure to look for anything else, but this was a simple incident, quite common, and all this was merely catalogued on a couple of parchments." he replies.

So that's how it happened, Lazarus and Orelliel were just unlucky. With this, and what happened to you and everyone else those past months, your husband's hatred for the Order of the Light is understandable.

>". . . Well, you see that's when things became rather disturbing in some parts." he answers.

>" There was indeed a report speaking of an incident in the city, but. . . Let me recite this said report to you. The news of a violent fight on the town market square was reported to the city guards, when they arrived the fight was over, several civilians were killed, and the corpses of humanoid creatures, twisted version of men, laid everywhere. The witnesses spoke of imperial soldiers who began to shoot in the crowd, seeming to concentrate on one man, before attacking him. That's when the witnesses hid. When they came out of their hiding spot everything was over, all that was left was the dead civilians and creatures." he explains.

>"The local lord conclusion was that the man the imperial soldiers were trying to kill was a dangerous mage, perhaps a necromancer, the creatures were his minions he summoned, and he either killed all the soldiers and teleported away, or he tried to flee and they manage to follow him. Now there is indeed the fact that the imperial soldiers entered the city the night before, apparently on an imperial mission, but there is no mention of them leaving. The only evidence of this incident ever happening is the number of deads and the few witnesses of the start of the fight and although I have searched as much and as deep into the archives as possible, there is nothing more about it." he tells you.

So the incident involving the death of Lazarus's father is a dead end, did Hagëndorff sweep this under the rug ? Was Kazeel Thorn involved ? A plot is obvious at his point, but who is involved the most and in which part is what is important. Do you ask anything else to the Spymaster ? He was in the Imperial Archives after all.

You call a servant to bring you wine for the Spymaster, and freshly squeezed fruit juice for you. You start a more casual conversation as you drink.

Thats a wonderfull gift you got there and well too far might be correct for now our dockyards number grews and ships are build so maybe in the near future this map will be more then usefull, but back to the matters at hand the Empress Hand should be more active in preventing that somehting like this happend to us. Not that Hagëndorff get the same idea to look at our Archives or for that matter same else tries it. In your long absence a few things happend like a little Noble uprising on the Day of the Drack Empire with Robert Illnir and Hernest Hestin as the Leaders with the Order of the Light as string puller in the background and supporter of it. So my next mission would be since the Nobility helped them to check up on them what they thing of the North now after everything that happend since the North as united, and also to controlle there income since they are quite annoying with there Nobility Taxes. So i need to know what they have so i can put the maintenance for the Kings Road on there Shoulders.

You nod, and spend the next few minutes drinking and relaxing. Once he was finised, the Spymaster thanked you and bowed to you before leaving the room.

One day, you call the mage so he can teach you the illusion spell. You and Lazarus wait in a large salon, and when there is a knock on the door, an old mage with a long white beard and wearing a gray robe with a long hood, enters the room.

It's greatness lie in the fact that while it's easy to cast, it's harder to see through, unless you have great magical powers. Any confirmed mage will feel that something is off but won't be able to say what." the mage answers.

You immediately start learning, with Lazarus watching attentively. The mage was right, it takes you a couple of hours, but you manage to understand everything at a quick pace. It is as he said, it is like using magic like a mirror to reflect the image to want to show to everyone around you, and it's not only for the ears, but the eyes too. By the end of the afternoon, just before the evening, after a few try, you know how to make an illusion to change your ears and the color of your eyes.

Do you wish to call some people to see if it's working as intended ? If yes, who do you call and what do you change on yourself ?

You have someone in mind to test if the illusion is working as intended. You order a servant to have Irene come here, and after some minutes she's here.

She stops when she sees you, and frowns immediately, you can see she's looking right into your eyes than at the rest of your face for a couple of seconds.

This is a success, she can't see beyond the illusion, and, as she sound a little worried, it must look really natural.

>"Thank you, Commander. Everything is fine, I'll explain everything in due time. You can go back to your duties now." you tell her.

A little puzzled, but knowing this kind of thing is normal with you, Irene just shrugs and bow to you and Lazarus before leaving the room. You turn to the mage.

>"It is working as intended, that's perfect. The crown thank you for your guidance and teaching, venerable mage." you say.

>"I am honored to be of use for our great Emperor and beloved Empress." the mage replies.

>"I am curious now, is a more advanced illusion spell exist tha I can learn ? Something that will even trick someone else's touch ?" you ask him.

>"Unfortunatley, not such spell exist your highness. Illusion magic is just what they are illusion, a magical trick, but a trick nonetheless. You can practice the illusion spell to make it harder for magical users to detect it, but like anything else in life, if you spend 10 years practising, someone with 20 years of experience will still be better. So that's what you should do, practise, make it harder for people to see through the illusion. Or hide it behind your own magic, make people notice your magical power so they won't notice the illusion among the magics." he explains.

>". . . I think I understand what you mean. I'll follow those advices. But is their really no magic than change the body ?" you inquire.

>"The only thing close is what some necromancers did to create monsters, modifying corpses, but their creations are still dead. Trying to do the same thing to a living subjects either irreversibly damaged or killed them in all cases." he answers.

As you have nothing else to say, you end it here, you thank the mage again, and he takes his leave. When it's time for dinner,you can see the surprise of your friends as they see you back to your old appearance. Once you have finished eating you gather everyone in your bedroom, and explain what you just learned. Despite their magical powers or knowledge of magic, Shelur, Emelyne and Isabella didn't see that it was an illusion, even if Shelur said that you still have the same smell for her. After telling them everything, they say good night and leave you and Lazarus alone. As you get ready for bed you think about what the mage said, and decide that you should see the gods in the Realm of Dreams to ask them about it.

You quickly stop thinking about this however, as your hunk of a husband starts actively playing with your breasts, things get hot really fast and you spend several hours fooling around, and after you reached orgasm a large number of times and he released himself several times inside you, you lovingly keep embracing each other and blissfully fall asleep.

Metraton, Luna and Gefian are here, in their true godly humanoid appearance, and your guardians Sif, Manus and Tyrande are with them, watching the flames. As soon as you approach, your three guardians notice you and rush toward you at great speed, you anticipated this however and catch them without any troubles and start showering them with your love and affection.

>"Hello Freya, It's nice to see you. How are you today ?" Metraton asks you.

>"I'm good. Everything is going fine on my end. And you ? Everything is going well for you I hope." you reply.

>"It's going better than well. With each day I can feel more of my power coming back. Once my temple is ready I'll be back to my former strength." Gefian says.

>"It's as good for me. My direct contact with Titania is going so smoothly it's scary. She's putting her kingdom in order, making it more powerful and increasing my power by actively converting the high elves that worship the Light to come back to me." Luna adds.

>"On my part, The Light still don't know I'm free. I'm sure they are questioning some of the things that happened, but I have so blurred the trail that they will need something other than suspicion to find the answer. And even with that, they will have to find me." Metraton tells you.

>"Ye, that's what the mage told me, now I'm sure nothing else of the sort exists. He also mentioned something about changing the shape of something, and that you can't do it to living beings." you say.

>"He is right, all creature of this world are alive because their body are the way it is, trying the change it can cause serious problems, you understand why I presume." Gefian explains.

>"Even with something as simple as ears ?" you ask.

>"It could irreversibly damage it, depriving you of your hearing." Luna answers.

So that's how it is. That's too bad, but you just need to train to make the illusion perfect. Do you ask something else ?

You approach him and put yourself on tiptoe, stretching your arm to reach his head, and you gently pat his head. The blue god just sighs.

As you keep headpatting him, you notice the two goddesses looking at you, with a grin you leave Metraton and approach them, and before they have time to say anything you start giving them headpats. After a while you decide it's time to leave the Realm of Dreams, you close your eyes, and after a moment you wake up in the real world, still in your bed, snuggled against Lazarus.

Okay people, since the thread is on page 9 I'm going to stop here and start a new one. But I need to be honest with you.
I'm not too happy with how I'm handling this quest, I don't have as much itme as before to do it, and I take too much time to do anything during the civ phase, so while not scrapping it, I need to find a simpler way of doing it. If not it might take a full year to move just one year in the quest.
If you have any comments or suggestions that could be interesting I'm all ears.

The biggest problem i thing is that you don`t have as much time for it as you use to have, since its almost normal for it to have gaps of a few days in between updates which sucks.

As for suggestions one would be if we look at the >>4055432 instead of writing the meeting with our deer gods we could have put it in the next week. Simple said just write what was on the -Work and -Social list and things that evolve from it come in the list for the next week, that sould save up some time or simple accept that these parts take some time.

or maybe if you thing nothing too big will happen in one month in order to save time why not ask for the 4weeks in one go and you can start writing a whole month in that why maybe that will save you some time
