With the defeat of Cont Dooku above the skies of Coruscant, Jedi Knights OBI-WAN KENOBI and ANAKIN SKYWALKER have dealt a devastating blow against the Separatists. Celebrations break out across the galaxy as the end of the Clone Wars looms in sight.Little do both sides know that the Sith Lord DARTH SIDIOUS, the true mastermind behind the war, has been orchestrating the downfall of the JEDI ORDER and the reorganization of the Republic into the FIRST GALACTIC EMPIRE.It is at this tipping point in the tides of history that finds a young Jedi Padawan awakening to their destiny...======Welcome to STAR WARS - Interregnum, a Star Wars quest that takes place in the aftermath of the Clone Wars. For all intents and purposes, this quest will be following the Expanded Universe timeline (a.k.a. Legends), with only a select few importations from the Disney Canon. My own disappointment with the Rise of Skywalker and the sequel trilogy as a whole turned into an inspiration to tread back to better days, before the dark times of Disney. For those unfamiliar with my work, my name is Kaz, and I've been a QM since the last years of /tg/ quests, and I currently run Devil Summoner: Task Force 666 and Bladebound Retainer Quest. For those familiar with my work and asking why I haven't run Bladebound yet, the curse tends to trigger when I work on that quest, and as I have no desire to get into a car accident or drive my father to the hospital again, I'm...erring on safer side of valor. The mechanics of this quest draw heavily from the Fantasy Flight Star Wars RPG, albeit modified and changed for questing format. For those curious about the game, I suggest going to /tg/ and checking out the /swg/ (Star Wars general) thread for information. The narrative of this quest draws on inspiration from the "Knights of the Old Republic" and "Jedi Knight" games. Now, without further ado...======
>19 BBY>Unknown locationDreams are an aggregation of memory. Some species cannot dream, and you feel immense pity for what they cannot accomplish and what many take for granted. You are far from a master poet, but to simply refer to it as the clinical “R.E.M. sleep” does not do the act justice. Wandering adrift within the infinite expanse of the mind, one experiences the raw, unbridled power of the subconscious. One dreams of things that might have been, so interwoven within the truths of past experiences that they seem to be almost real. Dreams can reveal hidden truths, repressed desires and desperate wishes unknown to the dreamer. The fantasy becomes reality, and everything one might know becomes impossible to grasp. It is little different for Jedi. Of course, there are many within the order that dream, yourself among them. Still, there are those who are plagued with visions, nightmares of futures that may or may not befall the galaxy. Master Yoda always says that the Force works in mysterious ways; you do little in the way of musing on this, but you are mercifully bereft of any sort of visions or premonitions that would otherwise disturb your slumber.Your master has always warned you about becoming lost in dreams. There are those who wish nothing more than to lose themselves in a realm they can manipulate or otherwise bend to accommodate every desire, more often base than not. To indulge in lurid and lucid fantasy of your own make is a dangerous path, one that leads to delusions of grandeur and entitlement. Thus, you use your more lucid dreams to reflect, to muse and meditate on an island of calm against the storm of the raw subconscious. Self-introspection is a habit that all Jedi should be well-versed in; you yourself are no exception. And if your species is anything to go by, there are billions of humans who lack such awareness of themselves in the grand scheme of things. That’s right. You are a human, and you are numbered as one of the hundreds of Padawans in the Jedi Order. And your name is...>Farren Gaelle. [Male]>Farah Gaelle. [Female]

But you have some vague memories of your parents, impressions that surface from time to time in your meditations and dreams. You can remember the strong scent of leather that comes from a working man’s jacket, and the delicate touch of a woman’s fingers that run through your hair; sensations best left forgotten or otherwise buried deep within your mind lest they distract you from your path. When you were brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, you were sorted into the Salamander Clan of Jedi Initiates. You and nine other younglings would spend the better part of ten years learning the ways of the Force in close proximity with each other and communion with the venerable Jedi Masters. Those had always been the best years of your life, prior to your formal apprenticeship. Initiate training is demanding, and the Masters expect much from ones so young, but it is not so harsh as to be a joyless slog through lighsaber forms and galactic history. For one, the food isn’t as bad as outsiders would have you believe, the beds are warm at night, and the stun bolts on the training droids don’t hurt. Much.Even with the Masters preaching balance in all things both within and without, it would be impossible to dictate or otherwise hamper the individual growth of an Initiate. As you began to reach into some measure of your maturity, you found yourself spending time on honing your...>>All humans default with two (2) pips in each Attribute.>>For every pip, you get to roll one (1) dice during Skill Checks.>>Please select two Attributes to bring up to three (3).>Brawn. Additionally, your strong resolve will serve you well against a galaxy that would tear you down, and those strong in the Dark Side of the Force.Still, you could safely say that you had a joyful youth, one shared among your fellows. And while you became fast friends with all of the Salamanders and those outside of your clan, there was a select few with whom you spent the most time with, two individuals that you could call your best friends. At first, you were all afraid that friendship would lead to attachment, and a subsequent path down the slippery slope of the Dark Side of the Force. However, when you brought these concerns to the Jedi Masters, they laughed and chortled, reassuring you that a pure friendship with your fellow Jedi was more than acceptable.Perhaps in hindsight, they might have chosen a more stern and precautionary lecture given the harmless, but aggravating, mischief that groups of children are prone to commit.>>>From this moment on in the chargen, we will be choosing skills for our intrepid protagonist. Keep in mind that skills /can/ stack from one choice to another, so it would not be unusual to end up with two or three ranks in a certain skill. After all, your experience in the Clone Wars could justify being more proficient in certain skills than others.>>Pick two:>You befriend Bavo Avef, a Mirialan Initiate with an interest in galactic politics and history. Really, you swear by the Force that half of the times you’d been hauled before the Master, three of you were bystanders in the wrong place in the wrong time.Kirsten, as always, protested vigorously, “But, master, I swear this time that it wasn’t us! I even told them that we should’ve gone the long way around-”“Oy!” countered Torok, “You wanted to see what had happened in the hangers just as much as we did! Don’t go pinning it on us, bowlcut...besides, you said yourself that we didn’t do anything!”“B-bowlcut?! Have you seen yourself in the mirror, you walking towel?!”"Better to be furry towel than naked and pink!"“Wrong place, wrong time, Master Yoda...” you said, pinching your nose as your friends start to bicker. “Please believe me when I say that...”“Ehehe!” The Grand Master was always forgiving. “Very well. In trouble, you are not. But to your quarters, you must return.”“Yes, Master Yoda...”However, there was a single individual who you could never get along with. How this rivalry started is a mystery that likes that even Master Nu cannot puzzle out, or any of the Grand Masters can resolve. Perhaps some offense was given in an off-hand remark, or a physical altercation that resolved itself unfavorably. All you know is that had it not been for the constant vigilance of the Temple Guards and how the behavior would be most unbecoming of a Initiate, you’d constantly be at each others’ throats like a pair of wild rancors.Or at least, some other four-legged, unwieldy creature given how small and ungainly your limbs are. Turning towards Kirsten, who sqirms under your intense look, you ask her with the most serious face you can muster, “Say, Kirsten...you’re a girl.”“...what an astute observation, Farren...” “Arotta’s also a girl.”That gives her pause. “Did she hit your head during the match? I’ll go fetch one of the healers-”“Is there a female equivalent of being kicked in the balls?”THAT particular line of questions had led to you being flung out of your bed by the Force. The last thing you remembered before fading into unconsciousness was Torok laughing uncontrollably, and an angry Kirsten stomping away from the Healer’s Quarter. And the kicker? She did more damage than Arotta.A typical interaction between three friends. She didn't speak to you for a week after that, and only came around once you offered your most heartfelt apologies. Then, Kristen begrudgingly struggled to explain with a red face that being punched in the breasts was the female equivalent of being struck between the legs. But such halcyon days were not meant to last, and this was a lesson that you experienced on a more visceral level than other Initiate that was coming of age. Apparently, he skipped the stage of Youngling and went straight to Padawan under Obi-Wan Kenobi! Kristen was beside herself, murmuring about the impropriety of the act. The kid was nine years old, far too late to be taken as a Youngling, let alone a Padawan! She quickly shut up when Torok pointed out that Master Kota was eighteen when Master Windu brought him into the temple. Twice the age of Skywalker, and well beyond the age that a youngling would be taken to the temple...fifteen years, last time you had checked. The poor kid’s got it rough; the preferential treatment of the High Council and other Knights of the order have made him somewhat of a pariah among his peers. You wouldn’t go so far as to say he shares a bond with you akin to the Salamanders, or the likes of Kristen and Torok, but there’s a burgeoning friendship there beyond “passing acquaintances”.“I miss my mother,” he had said one day, when the two of you shared a temple balcony for mediation. Skywalker’s eyes were fixated on the distant stars, which you eventually learned was Tatooine. “Do you remember your mother?”“Not much...brief flashes, impressions of sensations...” you shrugged as you exit the lotus position, “Not really memories, but they’re there. I was taken young.”Silence on the balcony. Then: “How do you deal with it?”“I’m sorry?”“The loss. Sometimes I feel that my own master doesn’t care for me...and that Master Qui-Gon was a better fit.”At least you have a Master, something within you snarled, but you quickly stuffed that back into your subconscious. Clearing your throat, you say, “You shouldn’t believe that. Master Kenobi cares for you deeply; he goes out of his way to defend you to the Council. And if you don’t believe me, look inwards on yourself; put your trust in the Force, and it will show you the truth.”The look he had given you still haunts you to this day. “That’s what I’ve been afraid of...”=Line Break=Master Larid is...an odd Jedi. At one moment, the man can go off on a tangent for hours, from the most minute stain on the wall to a nostalgic walk in the woods triggering memories of his wayward youth.“You see, Padawan, if I possess a green blade, our enemies will think me a Consular! And the double blades will distract them! However, I happen to carry around a spare lightsaber that’s the proper color for a Jedi Sentinel, a lustrous, vibrant gold. But don't tell the Council, hm? It'll be our little secret. Back on Parax Prime, I was hunting down relics of the Sith and stumbled upon this cave which contained a rare crystal...”And in the next instant...“There’s a Dark Jedi rumored to be loose in the Outer Rim. Pack up, Padawan, and prepare the ship. There is no time to be lost. This dark acolyte will be brought to justice here in the Temple...but if the Force wills it, then to oblivion."The change is jarring enough to give you whiplash.Only then you had begun to understand the "eccentric" reputation that your master had surrounded himself with. And the worst part? You can't tell which one's the fake persona and which one's the real one. More than once, you've been tempted to report this to the Healer's Hall...but it doesn't seem to otherwise impede his duties.(cont.)
His performance “act” as a hyper-distracted, borderline schizophrenic middle-aged man seems to be a feature, not a malfunction.“The ‘real Master Larid?’” he had asked when you broached the subject. “Why Padawan, if you needed glasses or special goggles, why didn’t you say so? Perhaps we’ll get some installed with a H.U.D., all the better for you and I to track down the artifacts and remnants of the Dark Side...”...you’ve long since given up on trying to figure out your master. Not that it stops you from otherwise learning both from him, and what little you can about him. If Master Larid’s past was a report in the Jedi Temple, there would be several corrupted files and redacted passages. Understandable, as his occupation demands secrecy and discretion. Still, he’s forthcoming when he wants to be, sharing stories about his hunts for anything related to the Dark Side, and the myriad tactics he’s had to use against them.“You don’t always have to keep your lightsaber on, you know!” calling as you duck and weave blindfolded through a veritable fleet of combat remotes. Who’s rate of fire has been set to three times the standard setting. 'Simulation with a Dark Jedi and their followers' he said.He still continues to talk, and you aren't sure whether his stories are themselves part of the test; they certainly are distracting you: “When I fought against a Dark Jedi, our blades locked and it then became a battle of strength. Just when he seemed like he was about to break through my guard...I switched off my lightsaber, he stumbled and fell due to the overbalance, and lopped his head off his shoulders. Actually, I still have his skull somewhere in the ship...ah, no, I gave it as a drinking mug to the primitives of that planet...at least, that’s what I saw them doing with it..."...no, these really had been a part of the training. Because the last sentence he uttered distracted (read: caused you to stumble) you long enough to receive a face-full of blaster."...you'd think they'd take the skin off before they started drinking...">>You started your journey as a Jedi with a single Lightsaber. Of the enemies you and your master had fought, there were only a handful who had any sort of prior training in the Jedi Arts, be it the Force or in lightsaber combat. Overkill? Perhaps, but the adherents of the Dark Side are just as unpredictable and insidious as the power they wield...Nine years had come and gone, of misadventures, happy accidents and "good" times for both Master and Apprentice.Of course, everything changed with the outbreak of the Clone Wars following the Battle of Geonosis. And of course Skywalker was caught right in the middle of that mess. Because it's almost expected of him, given his own share of misadventures. From Padawan to commander of his own Clone Batallion and a padawan, to boot! Sky's the limit for this guy..."Annoying," was the singular term Master Larid used to describe the conflict. They would detract you from your journey, and the hunt of all things related to the Dark Side. His interest was only piqued when you received news that Count Dooku was assembling a cell of Dark Jedi for the Separatist forces. Still, with more autonomy as a Jedi Shadow, he was afforded leeway where others might not have room."Prevent acolytes joining Dooku, you must," Master Yoda's hologram had said on the transmitter. >>4003759But if you can say one good thing about the war, it’s that you had reunited with your fellow Salamanders across the galaxy. They’ve all grown up, and some of them had been apprenticed to Jedi Generals you’d worked with. Torok had been an Ace Pilot, leading his own clone squadron with a tricked-out Jedi Fighter. He had nearly crushed you with a bear...cat hug.“...need...air...”“You mean you don’t have a starship? Here, our armada has plenty of Jedi Fighters we could loan out to you...hell, we’d give it to you! Take your pick of the lot, I won’t be missing anything...”Kristen managed logistics and diplomatic missions with the Master Aure. She had taken the time to idly note that you’d not died, having heard all sorts of wild stories from Master Aure about Master Larid.“...and I’m surprised that you hadn’t flown into a black hole with Master Aure at the helm.”“...shut up and give me a hug, you idiot.”And to your incredible surprise, you even shared a few missions with Arotta. Your erstwhile childhood rival had been equally surprised, sneering at you before a stern look from her master cowed her into propriety. It seems that the strict tutelage of Master Uyer has taken the edge off your rival.“...glad to see you’re still alive, pink-skin,” she had drawled out, “I still need to rectify the win-loss ratio.”Not one to be left out of the snark, you shot back, “...right back at you, blueberry.”From a young age, you’ve repeated the words of the Jedi Code, instilling the Mantra within your mind to where it comes as easy as drawing breath. In particular, Master Yoda emphasized emotional attachments, or how their lack thereof was the ideal that a true Jedi sought for. And this did not only extend to people; you share the same meager possessions you had from your years as an initiate and your service as a Padawan. But these ideals, you held onto well enough, and took to like a fish in water. You strove to embody the ideal Jedi, shedding your worldly concerns and attachments in order to become closer with the Force......puberty, however, was perhaps the greatest trial that any young Jedi had to overcome. Especially Padawans, who were afforded more private rooms. Granted, it was a fool’s errand to get into any mischief within the Temple (not that it stopped anyone either too stupid or recklessly brave), but even before the breakout of the Clone Wars, life finds a way.And the war itself made it worse.Still, the subsequent mobilization of the Jedi places you far away from the temple, far away from the scrutinizing eyes of the High Council and all the cameras and Force-sensitives that could detect an emotional change in a stone. With Masters and Knights busy coordinating the war effort with their respective battalions, it wouldn’t surprise you to learn that a wayward Pawdawan might find some time to themselves...especially with those of the opposite sex.(cont.)
The truth about war is that it’s an unpleasant business, and an incredibly stressful experience. And that most of the war is sitting around and waiting for the next thing to happen. The clones of Master Uyer’s ship gave you an empty cargo hold for the two of you to go at it. Nine years are a long time to bury hatchets or make peace with your past, but it seems that you and Arotta have too much bad...well, not bad, but there’s certainly an animosity that goes beyond competitiveness.“Wow, Gaelle,” Arotta had said as she took up a position. Form IV, you idly realize. It seems that she’s channeled her aggression into dancing around the battlefield. “Your master lets you have two lightsabers? You compensating for something?”“Only lack of horns on my head, you space-devil,” you had snarked back. With a snap-hiss, your lightsabers sprang to life.“Just try not to tire yourself out too quickly...”There’s an awkward pause as the two of you had simultaneously processed the double-entendre that would’ve been innocuous so many years ago. Coughing, you quickly replied, “...I’d say the same thing about you. Form IV is really jumpy, inn’it? Hope those montrals of yours don’t get in the way of our lightsabers.”No more words pass between you. Perhaps for the better. There had been a heat on your cheeks where there wasn’t prior.Silence and stillness, stances ready and weapons drawn...then a distant noise had gone off, for some cargo elevator or bay doors, and the fight began in earnest.Light had filled the cargo bay as the two of you danced in earnest. It’s a far cry from the brutish clashing of your youths, rough and roughshod in execution and methodology. Nine years is a long time to master Form II, improve your techniques and become proficient with another Form. If you had both been artists, your earlier days would be filled with scribbles and doodles. Now, every swing and stroke is a masterpiece in motion. The conditions of victory were vague. It wasn’t to first blood, as you’d lowered the settings of your ‘sabers. First strike would not have satisfied anybody. Only concession to the better would be accepted for both of you, at least, for a time.By the time you reach some sort of midpoint, sweat poured off of both of you in rivulets. Form IV is just as exhaustive as you said, and Form VI requires both concentration and dexterity, all the more with two lightsabers. The two of you had been breathing hard, having long-since shorn your outermost robes. A silent communication passes between you, a final clash in the middle to resolve the match. At the signal of some distant sound, you did just that. You sprint forward, she flips into the air...and in the middle of the hold, your lightsabers shriek and glow wildly as they crash against each other. You have a wider stance, but Arotta has momentum; unstoppable force met immovable object. And for a brief moment in time, there is only the two of you, Farren Gaelle and Arotta Bashur...(cont.)

>>4003918Yup even the fucking clones knew. What a bunch of bros.
>>4003903Something had clicked. Perhaps one of you had intended to grapple, but the end result was certainly beyond the bounds of a spar. Even as your lightsabers deactivated and you grabed her robes, Arotta had already claimed your hem and slammed you against a container. Her mouth met yours in a violent clash for dominance, one you weren’t about to lose.By the time the two of you break for air, the concerns of the Jedi Code seem to be a thing of the past.“...your spaceship?” she asked, with a fire in her eyes and voice that burned hotter than a star. You nod, somehow swallowing the lump in your throat, “...just an elevator away...”Master Brethon’s most recent ship at the time was a Jedi Sojourner, a modified freighter made to transport Jedi across the galaxy. Created by the same company that developed the interceptors that the Jedi flew into battle, it was little work for them to develop a line of ships for transportation. The Boss Bantha is hardly the most intimidating name, but it gave off the air of disguising its true intentions.Neither of you had paused or otherwise opened your mouths. That would have led to a reconsideration of the actions you were about to take. But before your wisdom could get the better of you, the hatch to your own quarters closed, and the two of you made good on that unspoken communication.Jedi robes had been shed with impatient urgency. Her one-piece flight-suit was more convenient, coming undone with a quick tug of a zipper, and peeled off in with a torturous slowness. Both of your undergarments joined the pile of dirty laundry on the floor of your berth. Your room is cluttered with a mess of artifacts, clothes, manuals and souvenirs, an oddity for a supposedly orderly Jedi. The state of your room could never have been possible back in the Jedi Temple.Arotta pulled you over to the bed, and swept off all the clothes and junk with the authority as if this were her berth. Then, she took you by the shoulders, threw you onto the bed, and climbed on top of you.Your coupling had been more a match than a paramour encounter. It was fast, furious and urgent, a continuance of your “duel” in the cargo hold. Somehow, she’s even more rough and aggressive than before, but you’re able to pay her back in kind. By the time you’ve completely and utterly spent yourselves, you had gouges on your back and chest, and blood on your lower lip. She’d long ago screamed herself hoarse, and purple bruises dot along her thighs, chest and neck.By some merciful stroke of luck, the time on the Venator was approaching rest hours for the officers. Thus, the two of you had been provided with the perfect excuse to remain an exhausted, sticky tangle of flesh and limbs within the confines of your ship for the next few hours. She curled up against you as you drew the sheets and slammed your hand on the lights, pantomiming the aftermath of vigorous lovemaking.(cont.)

With an LAAT/i borrowed from your accompanying Clone Battalion, you and Master Larid made quick work of navigating through the dense foliage. Scans of the planet revealed no major settlements, and nothing higher than the equivalent of a dog.“Tread carefully, apprentice,” Master Larid warned sternly, shedding his eccentricity for a deadly seriousness, “The Dark Side is strong on this planet...can you not feel it?”Your silence had spoken louder than any words. There had been a font of power here, an echo from which the Dark Side poured forth. Even prior encounters with other dark acolytes could not compare to the sheer evil that permeated the atmosphere of the planet. It called to you, treading at the edge of your mind like a blade of grass, phantom touches above the small of your back...but it was not the usual temptation that presented itself to you.You sensed an endless yearning, a hunger and great void that could not be filled...“...remember your training...and all the previous Dark Jedi we’ve faced. You will defeat this one, Farren. You must before they can escape and join with Count Dooku and the Seperatists.”It had been all you could do to nod and ask, “...and what about...what about you, Master?”His eyes hardened. “I’m going to locate this echo and obliterate it from the face of the galaxy.”(cont.)
The Clones placed you down atop a hill overlooking a vast and empty plain. According to your scans, the Dark Jedi had fled into a nearby cave structure, and was only half klick away. But what the orbital scans mistook for rock formations actually revealed themselves to be the crumbling structures of a civilization long-since dead. Half-sunken towers peak out from earthen rises, and the bases of architecture mark what once might have been a city....this planet once held intelligent life. You had turned your focus inward, thinking and retracing all of your times in the Archives and library. >>4003967>>4003970>>4003974>>4003983Relaying your “discovery” to your master as you venture through the ruins of the city confirmed your suspicions. What surviving architecture stands is Miralukan in its design; the rounded edges and circular foundations are iconic to their species. And a quick consultation of star charts confirms beyond a shadow of a doubt that this could only be Katarr.“Darth Nihilus...” Larid spat out the word as if he tasted a bad fruit, “...the Lord of Hunger. Well done, Farren. Only one of his description could have done...this to a planet.”Fear seized you like a violent grip. “You mean to say there could be more of...of him?”“No,” your master refuted quickly, “The circumstances of his creation were...unique to say the least. Your next homework assignment is to read my uncensored history of the First Jedi Purge. Of particular interest, you will find the sections about Malachor V and Jedi Master Meetra Surik.”Assigned reading...and it was unusual for your master to let you into his personal database. At least you had something to look forward to once you returned to the ship.>>You and your master split up, each venturing towards their respective tasks.>>Chasing the wellspring of the Dark Side, he ventured towards the distant mountains.>>Chasing the Dark Jedi, you descended into the cave structure beneath the ruined city...As far as attire went, it seemed that there had been a Dark Jedi council meeting that dictated that all members must wear black. And failing that, some other dark color that was close enough on the spectrum. You and your master have faced at least a dozen dark acolytes, and barring their species and motivations...they all looked the same, from sector to sector, from the Outer Rim to the Inner Core. The Dark Jedi before you is no such exception. His robes were entirely black, and only the illumination of a nearby lamp made him visible. And of course, the light of his ‘saber certainly helped define him clearer, snapping to life as you drew closer towards him.“Jedi...” the acolyte hissed, leveling his weapon in your direction, “...I was wondering when you’d make your appearance...but where is your master? Two I sensed that came down from your ship, two bright sparks among a handful of ashen dullards. I ask again: where is your master?”You ignited your own weapon, twin blades of gold that cast a hard counter against the harsh crimson light. “I don’t need my master to defeat you.”A cruel smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. “Is that arrogance, I sense from you, Padawan? Arrogance is unbecoming of a Jedi.”“It’s not arrogance if it’s a promise...” you declared as you fall into a stance. The cave’s big enough for you maneuver around. Arotta wouldn’t have had any trouble employing Form IV. “But I would first know why you’re here...who you are...”(cont.)
He laughed, a cruel noise that reverberated along the walls of the cave. “How kind of you to break the ice, to learn who I am and what my desires are before you aim to murder me.”“My master requires your name for the sake of cataloging and indexing. Even the slightest mistake or lack of information would give him cause to assign remedial lessons.”“Cheeky, aren’t you?” The Dark Jedi assumed a duelist’s stance, one eerily reminiscent of Count Dooku: Makashi, Form II. “Very well, Padawan. I have no loyalty to Count Dooku or his Separatists. It certainly matched up with what Master Larid had on file.“Ah, no use crying over spoiled blue milk...” In the darkness of the cave, his eyes glowed an ominous yellow color. The power of the Dark Side, the very planet itself, was giving him strength. “Try not to die quickly. I would hate to run you through without helping with your homework.”You offered no reply but a swift advance, and a flurry of blows from your weapon. >>4004342>>4004344>>4004345Niman in of itself is not a bad form, but dual-wielding sacrifices the precision one would find in Makashi. Of course, the trade is not without its benefits. Speed and maneuverability are key features of dual-wielding. They aren’t opposing styles as much as incredibly difficult to merge or synthesize. Still, if you lose on lightsaber, you still have another one to fall back onto, and two styles to draw from.“If you were a boss fight, single-lightsaber Niman/Makashi would be your second stage,” Tovol had once remarked. But digressing, the cave quickly filled with a violent display of light, and the hellish screech of lightsabers clashing and parting away in rapid succession. The Dark Jedi is a duelist through-and-through. Several times, he tried to break through your guard, only for you to batter it away and counter with a harsh follow up.“My name is Iskan,” the Dark Jedi shouted, “And I hail from the Outer Rim. Who are you, Jedi?”“...Farron Gaelle...” you calmly answered, dancing around his guard in an attempt to outflank. “And I came from the Outer Rim.”He seemed surprised at that last fact, but it quickly disappeared as you tried to press the advantage. He reached out with the Force, Pushing you back in order to regain his bearings. “Gaelle, Gaelle...a good name, a strong name. A name worthy of a Jedi.”The fight continued. Contrails of light carved molten gouges into the walls and floor of the cave. Both of you were careful to not hit any support structures, or faultlines that might bring the cave down on your heads. Iskan wasn’t stupid, and though the Jedi Code dictates sacrifice, you weren’t about to try that just yet.“You were never among our order,” you observed. He nodded. “Aye, no I never was. Dooku saw fit to train me in your Jedi arts. Just enough to give me an edge, but not enough to defeat him. I’m mostly self-taught in that regard, traveling from planet to planet to hone my arts.“Truth be told, I couldn’t give a rat’s ass about the Separatists. So when the call came from Dooku that I was activated...I just kind of kriffed off into the Outer Rim. Laid low and quiet, honed my skills, killed a few people, violently murdered agents Dooku sent to terminate me...a peaceful life until you guys found me.”“And why this planet?” you ask.“...you know just as well as I.” With his free hand, the Dark Jedi gestured to the entirety of the cave. “The Dark Side is strong in this place. Once, it was a wound in the Force, but the millennia have seen this planet slowly healing...shame that whatever Darth Nihilus did left the planet soaked in the Dark Side. And it’s an...intoxicating thing.”“It will consume you,” you counter with both your weapons and your words, “Even worse than an ordinary dark acolyte. Nihilus’ hunger went beyond that of a Sith, knowing no bounds...”(cont.)
“I’d give it a few years,” Iskan drawls, “But rumor has it that Nihilus left a holocron. And that this planet has one of the clues that’ll lead me straight to it-”A Sith Holocron! As far as information goes, that’s more than enough to make good on your promise for a full report. And what you can’t find, you can readily extrapolate or otherwise theorize. A power far worse than that of the Sith, Iskan of the Outer Rim seemed to be after. And with that, you had no more reason to be merciful. The duel ended as you would have expected. You feinted, lowering one of your ‘sabers in a thrust towards his legs. Iskan panicked, side-stepping to avoid the thrust, and countering with a strike towards your exposed chest......only for you to have used both lightsabers to catch his own. And in that split-second of hesitation, you perform the final strike. With a flick of your wrist, you batter away the counter attack and move to punish him with your follow up. The walls of the cave filled with the scream of the Dark Jedi as you severed his hand, and the lightsaber it carried. His eyes glowed a fierce yellow, burning with hatred, and you felt the Force drawing into him. Sparks danced along his fingertips, and the taste of atmosphere filled your mouth. But just before he could unleash his Force Lightning, you severed that hand as well, just in time to allow the backlash to blow through his body. The Dark Jedi lies in the floor, writhing in agony from the discharge of lightning and his own ruined hands. He only stopped as you have both of his lightsabers directly at his neck, ready to deliver the killing blow. “W-wait!” Iskan panicked, and the words he utters froze you dead in your tracks. “You said that you’re a Gaelle? I visited a planet in the Outer Rim that had a community of them...humans named Gaelle! That’s why your name sounded familiar!”...your...family?“Kill me, and you’ll never find that planet,” the Dark Jedi insisted, “But if you spare me, I’ll give you the coordinates. They’re in my ship, and the log’s encrypted to a password only I know. Take my lightsaber, tell your master you defeated me...and I’ll be gone after you leave. You technically did, yeah? With both of my hands out, there’s nothing for me in this path anymore...”You used the Force to authenticate the truth of his words...Iskan was telling the truth. Even a well-trained Jedi, once bound by fibercord, would find themselves in a precarious situation. Nothing short of a lightsaber or blaster bolt could break such a bind, not even the power of Force augmented strength. Perhaps not the most glorious and somewhat pedestrian in a Jedi Shadow’s arsenal, but you cannot deny how inspired it was.“MASTER?! How am I supposed to block the control remotes and your lightsaber with my hands tied behind my back?!”“Trust in the Force, my young apprentice!”“THAT ISN’T HOW THE FORCE WORKS!”“Shows what you know. Now pick up the pace, Farren!”“MASTER!”“You have been captured by a Dark Jedi and have bound with Fibercord, but have kept your lightsaber and are escaping your prison. However, you’ve been ambushed and barely had time to cut the bindings, and thus you must now fight...”...definitely inspired.>>Later“I see that you’ve quite literally disarmed him,” Master Larid had noted when you dumped Iskan at his feet. The Jedi Shadow had taken up a position on a rocky outlook, smoking a pipe and staring out into the wastelands of Katarr. “Well done.”Ignoring the obvious joke, you knelt and respectfully presented the Dark Jedi’s lightsaber. He took the offering, inspecting and manipulating the tool as if it held the secrets of the universe within. Depressing a button, the red blade ignited with a hiss, and he took a few experimental swings with the weapon.“A duelist’s saber,” he observed, “Best suited for one with a dominate right hand, light enough to emphasize speed, but sturdy enough to allow for a two-handed strike. And...engravings? Padawan, come here.” At your approach, he beckoned you over to inspect the weapon. “Engravings look nice, but they give no tactical advantage whatsoever. Only fools and showoffs engrave their weapons...tell me, which do you think our prisoner is?”“...yes.”That actually elicited a chuckle. “A wise answer. Now, I need you to run back to the dropsite and let the Clones know we have a prisoner. By the time you come back, I’ll have picked apart all the secrets within his skull, and we’ll be ready to depart this hellish planet.”(cont.)

In England and Wales, the age of sexual consent for women has been set at 16 since 1885, when campaigners fought to raise it from 13 to prevent child prostitution. >civilized countriesThe ages of consent vary by jurisdiction across Europe. The ages of consent are currently set between 14 and 18. The vast majority of countries set their ages in the range of 14 to 16; only three countries, Cyprus (17), Ireland (17), Turkey (18) do not fit into this pattern. The laws can also stipulate the specific activities that are permitted or differentially specify the age at which a given sex can participate. Below is a discussion of the various laws dealing with this subject. The highlighted age is that from which a young person can be lawfully engaged in a non-commercial sexual act by an older one, regardless of their age difference, provided the older one is not in a position of power, a relative, or commits another form of exploitation (such as abuse of power, immaturity or dependence). In some jurisdictions, notably Italy and Hungary, there are exemptions for when the age difference between them is within prescribed bounds. All jurisdictions in Europe, except the Vatican, have equal and gender-neutral age limits.

>>4004677 Rival/love interest is the most likely to survive as she would be the easiest to convert so she may be captured instead of killed. Probably get turned into an Inquisitor who will hunt us down. Which may actually backfire on the other Sith due to how the Sith treats love/relationships. Our friends though...the odds for them are dismal. Our male friend will die right away as his clone pilots turn on him. Which in this case, happens to be Star Wars, a war-torn universe set in space that has cantinas with erotic dancers, princesses in bikinis washing overgrown slugs, and space wizards that have secret love affairs with senators. And that's ignoring the planet-destroying superstructures. The main issue you seem to have with my story is the inclusion of a teenaged sex scene. I agree that it's a problem. Sure, I could write a quest that only had people doing noble, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy things. But it wouldn't be a story, or even a work of art. It would be a work of trash and dishonesty. The arts are supposed to tell the truth, and if you can't handle it or don't wish to hear it, then I suggest you turn to those Hallmark or those godawful "Christian" films -where everybody does the right thing, all the bad people are punished, and all the good people win praise- and content yourself with that. Also, do you know where you are? When I write about adult things, I write about the world as it is because you can only find God and morally grey, complex characters in the world as it is, and you can't find God in namby-pamby silliness the likes of "God's Not Dead" and those milktoast Christian novels and movies. The worst thing I can do is lie, and claim that things like underage/teenage sex doesn't exist. Because the truth of the matter is that we're a fallen race, and that our world is filled with all manner of unpleasantness. Some people here have brought up the explicitness that can be found in Young Adult novels. Certainly, some of those books can be borderline pornographic, and serve no purpose beyond titillation and are analogous to nudity and sexual content on TV (ie. Game of Thrones). But some scenes show that horrible, horrible things can in fact be part of getting at the truths of the world.Such as how underage kids can regularly have sex.
I think there's an important question in here - how much opportunity are we going to be given to derail canon? While I hold no illusions that we will be unimportant with little impact for quite some time at least, I would be surprised if we didn't end up caught up in major events later down the line.

>>4005436But there’s one more particular point of umbrage. You chafe uncomfortably at the remark, one that drives home the further point that for all your years of hunting Dark Jedi, you’re still a padawan. “‘Young apprentice’? Master, I’m almost twenty-five...”“And I have just nearly twenty years over you,” he counters, taking an obnoxiously large bite out of imported fruit. The juices run down the length of his beard as he sighs contently. “Thus, I reserve the right to always defer to you as young, even in the twilight of our years.”The ghost of a smile tugs at the corner of your mouth. “I’m sure I’ll appreciate being called ‘young’ when all my hair’s fallen out and I’m old and grey. But that’s...that’s not the problem. When will you allow me to take the Trials?”His mood changes instantly, but not so overtly. Master Larid sets his fruit down, and regards you with a knowing look. “When you are ready.”Your patience slips, just for a moment. “But, master, I am ready...I’ve been more than ready, especially with the war ongoing, and all the Dark Jedi, I’ve done more than-” He gives you another look, and you are cowed into submission. “...I’m sorry, master. All that remains is that of Spirit and Insight, both of which I expect to be completed within the year.Your face flushes with equal measures of embarrassment and gratitude. “Thank you, master. Your words...they mean a lot to me.”“And your actions in turn, have done more than please me,” he replies, taking a bite out of his own half of the fruit. “I’ve always had my doubts about taking an apprentice, but you’ve more than proven yourself worthy to inherit my-”A Tremor in the Force. It his the both of you like a physical wave, like a burning brand hold your heart. >>4005813Nope>>4005814Sacrifing him is meaningless though. If the line was secured then maybe. But that Venator started a backtrace on us as soon as we answered him. As soon as he buys it we get hit next. So not telling him is meaningless sacrifice of a friend. Ergo our best bet is to tell him pack up and bail, burning all we do not take down before we do. We kinda need something better in space for fighting anyways. If we had a secure line and location I’d agree. But we don’t. We fucked ourselves as soon as we answered.
I'm just thinking that we don't have anti-air capabilities here. What can we do to help? He'd still have to survive a dogfight essentially by himself even if he did come here, with the added bonus of leading even more enemy troops to our location. Enemy troops with starfighters that we have no defense against.
>>4005799Master Brethon Larid is the proud owner of the [i[Boss Bantha[/i] a Jedi Sojourner-class light transport. Commissioned by the Jedi Order during the twilight years of the Clone Wars, it was originally meant for Force Mystics and Padawans/Younglings to travel the galaxy in search of the Living Force. It's equipped with a class 1 primary hyperdrive, a class 12 secondary hyper drive, and sensors that give it long-ranged detective capabilities. It can be crewed by one pilot, and comfortably accommodate six adult passengers. It has twin forward medium laser cannons, and two dorsal and hull turret-mounted light laser canons à la the style of a Corellian freighter (read: Millennium Falcon)Sacrificing cargo space for meditation and room for sparring, one of the most unique features of a Jedi Sojourner is its Holocron repository. Sojourners were commonly sent with holocrons on board to use in teaching or research. Master Larid has personalized his Sojourner to be more easily mistaken as a traditional Corellian freighter, as well as amassing his life's work within this ship. From Sith artifacts and Jedi Holocrons, to his own personal files and history of the Galaxy and Jedi Order, the Boss Bantha is the closes thing Master Larid could take pride in and say is his magnum opus.
>>4005833>I'm just thinking that we don't have anti-air capabilities here. What can we do to help?We could throw force weaponized bricks at them with telekinesis. It could work.
Definitely a hard call here. But we can't send the coordinates. Sending the coordinates is a selfish move that makes us feel better about ourselves short term for helping our friend but puts helpless younglings at greater risk. Search your feelings anons, you know it to be true.
>>4005843But anon we don't have a ACME Brick Factory lying around!
>>4005753>“...we’ll deal with that when you get here.” [Transmit the coordinates.]I guarantee if we were Torok and our friend hung up on us, we wouldn't quite be so understanding of his reasons.
>>4005857Dammit. How could I be so blind? Wait I know, we could throw our little house at them. This is a perfect plan with no flaws.
>>4005866Why don't we just throw the Clone Starfighters at the Ventator?
>>4005842Well holy shit that's actually an amazing ship.Alright... so with our master being who he is, has he retrofitted it with some kinda stealth ability? And how speedy is it compared to a Venator?
>Kaz is running a quest again? Neat it's star wars I'll check it ou-
Either way there's no way to avoid the tragedy of the jedi purge and either decision would haunt us, but sending the coordinates is very myopic given the importance of protecting the younglings. The way I see it, sending coordinates makes us responsible for the death of younglings, while we're otherwise responsible for the death of our friend. Or maybe they'll all die anyway. Who knows?
>>4005753>>“...we’ll deal with that when you get here.” [Transmit the coordinates.]>>4005878Temple already said "...We ArE cOmInG fOr yOU..."

>>4005885Wouldn't it be easier to mindtrick the commander into landing on the planet instead of pulling it down?>>4005889I don't really consider myself one, I mean if a chucklefuck in a A-Wing can Drunk-Fly-Indy-500 into the command deck of a super star destroyer then it shouldn't be too much trouble to force it's commanders to stop sending Star Fighters after us.
>>4005753Switching >>4005804 to not giving the coordinates. We could allude to the reason but the general vicinity is the most we can safely give. He'll have to do a random jump from there.
The way I see it, leaving him to die might give us a few more hours to prepare and wait for our master to recover before the clones come marching in, but giving him the coordinates will give us less time to prepare but we'd have another jedi bro and an experienced pilot at the cost of maybe a few youngling deaths.
>>4005892maybe. but Pulling it into the planet would be less boring and highly destructive.
Kaz are you doing the Inquisitors stuff?
>>4005873It's chocked full to the brim with all the redundancies and stealth capabilities that Master Larid's paranoia would allow him to fill in. It's got backups for the backups, multiple funnels to disperse heat, a "play dead" switch that insulates the engine room and makes the ship appear like a wreck, and more biometric scanners and systems than a Kamino clone facility. The Boss Bantha's signature ability is "LUDICROUS SPEED", a big plaid button on the dash panel that causes the drive to enter an emergency burn, tripling base sub-light speed at the cost of overheating the engine and burning through your fuel quicker. It's definitely faster than a Venator, and it's had its own fair shares of making hot extractions off of missions gone wrong (read: offending the locals). The Bantha's up there, with only some of the more top-end Interceptors capable of catching her. The only time when it could ever outrace the Falcon is when someone smashes the big, plaid button, and not even for long.

He’s...he’s been incapacitated from the disturbance. That means you’re in charge now.”“...I guess I am,” you slowly agree. And with that revelation comes a burning call to action. The shock of the tremor still courses through your body, continuing to stab at you as more lights in the force are snuffed out violently. “...we don’t have much time. Go to your quarters and pack up. Only what’s necessary, do you understand? No more than two extra changes of clothes and three kilos of personal items.”They nod dutifully, and you continue to speak fast, if nothing else just to have something else to think about other than dread and fear at the current situation. “Prep the ship for launch, and get Master Larid’s stretcher into the Bantha with that medical droid. They are going to shower in blasterfire the padawans if they see them, no amount of blocking is going to save them. In fact the padawans better go to the Boss Bantha immediatly when the LAATS go down. Now a better question.... where are our clones ? I imagine they are specialized clones for our type of missions : so it could be assasins, ARC troopers or maybe even commandos.

>>4006152old outposts would likely be in the temple archive, and are thus mor likrly to be raided by the empire
I have to go to class (hahaha fuckin' quarter system, amirite). But for those wondering, if you had picked another master...Master Uyer would be the archetypal Jedi General, leading a Clone battle group in the Outer Rim. When Order 66 happens, you'd be out in the middle of bumfuck nowhere in some jungle planet. Your goal would then be to survive long enough to make it back to the F.O.B. and steal a ship to get off-planet.Master Aure would be on a diplomatic mission to bring a neutral planet into the Republic. When the Order is given, the locals decide to try and accrue goodwill with the new Empire by throwing you in jail and having the authorities pick you up. Your goal would then be to bust yourselves out of jail and get your ship back.
So the guardian gets a potential stealth mission The sentinel gets to raise some brats And the poor consular gets used as a neat stick, looks like we got the good deal, babysitting for the win!
So considering the Boss Bantha can house a max of 6 adults, y'all think it can house 12 younglings and three adults? Considering a youngling is half an adult we could still take on like, a good few more before reaching max capacity but I'm concerned that we won't have enough space as is with 12 kids, an injured man and two padawans. Not to mention I severely doubt that we have the capacity to properly feed and care for 12 uber-scared, uber-nervous force sensitive kids. We'd need to take in dietary preferances, allergies, find a safe place to settle and then keep a secure comm link with them while we're out working jobs to keep them fed.Ontop if ALL of that we need to make sure they stay away from Master Lirad's sith related shit AND that they still get a proper education AND that we set a good example for them! We're going to be a space dad! It's at once tbe most happy and terrifying moment of my life!

All of the Salamander’s Jedi Communicators had been specially made, to keep in touch with the extended members of the Initiate Clan. Tricked out with the latest in telecommunications and tightbeam technology, the delays are minimal, and the ranges almost a quarter of the galaxy. And failing that, the HoloNet bounced the signals off of satellites and ships.Kristen would have already gotten the message. And as far as you can remember, her missions with Master Aure only had a small contingent of Clones as an escort. Eight could be easily dispatched. But Arotta...you decide to contact her first, and not just because you happen to be sleeping with her. She’s in command of her own clone battalion and battle group, right behind Master Uyer......but if whatever’s happening at the temple is happening across the entire galaxy...The implications hit harder than a concussion, and that iron grip on your very being squeezes all the tighter. Fusan’s innocent question seems to have gotten heavier. As far as you know, you are the last of the Jedi.Waiting is the worst part. Dialing in the frequency that Arotta had given you after your first “spar”, every second of waiting to establish contact is torturous agony. The only emotions you had felt whenever you were with her had been anger, frustration...blissful resolution whenever you spent a long night tangled in each other’s arms and sheets...Those thoughts are banished swiftly. That line of thinking lay down a forbidden path. You hold no feelings for Arotta Bashur beyond a competitive animosity...do you?>>...SIGNAL LOCATED...>>...CONFIRMING SOURCE...CONFIRMED SIGNAL: JEDI PADAWAN AROTTA BASHUR...The confirmation noise is a welcome distraction from your thoughts. You grab the speaker, jamming the TALK button with perhaps a tad bit more force than necessary. “Arotta! Arotta! It’s Farren. Listen, something terrible is happening-”“Hey, pink-skin,” the Togruta’s voice answers, and hope surges in your chest at the sound of her drawl. "Miss me already?"“Oh, thank the Force...listen, you need to-”“I ain’t around to pick up the line,” the playback message of her communicator says, destroying any hope you had and stopping your heart for a good few beats. “...yeah, hard to believe that my life revolves around things other than fighting and screwing our brains out. Leave a message, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. If it’s about a Dark Jedi, send it to my master; about a rematch, I’m down for it any time; and if you need a good screwing...talk sweet to me, and /maybe/ I’ll be more than ready to go next time we meet.”The message cuts off with a customary BEEP, filling the cockpit of the Bantha with only white noise and the emotions that threaten to overcome you in the darkness...Any Master would have told you to simply let her go. Death, after all, is only a part of the natural order. To become attached to someone is to fear for them. And that fear is but the first stop on the path to suffering and the Dark Side of the Force....“Computer,” you murmur, slumping back into your chair and burying your face in your hands, “...give me the coordinates for where that signal went...”Reaching Kristen doesn’t even give you static. There’s a signal, but whoever’s on the other end is either refusing to pick up...or is incapable of answering. And what little hope you have left plummets like a stone. All you can do is numbly type out a final message as the Younglings finish the tasks you assign for them. They run up the ramp of the Bantha, their steps heavy under the supplies they carry. If you concentrate, you could probably discern their frightened whispers and hushed tones of voice...if you tore your attention away from your message to Kristen.(cont.)

Navigating the deep core will be hard, but the ruins and shit should help us train the younglings. The danger on-world could also help toughen them. The Unknown Planet is likewise unknown to the Empire and we can rendezvous with Kristen and strengthen our numbers.

[Unknown Danger]Rescue mission!...but Younglings...Uurgh.As long as we're careful, we can get in, get her and hopefully her Master out, and then get the hell out of there before the Empire arrives and get to Dweem.Realistically, our best hope would be to have Torok take the Bantha to Dweem while we take his ship to the unknown planet.Torok is the better pilot. But it stands to reason that we'd be better at finding Kristen.

>>4006912Alright so in order,>DantooineSmall precense that we can fool if we play our cards right. >Dweem I don't wanna bring the Empire down on some poor fuckers who already kinda don't like Jedi to begin with>Kakarit No. Just... just no.>OssusWould have a LOAD of good shit but basicaply guranteed to have Inquisitors or god forbid Vader himself on our ass like within a year.>TythonActually worse than Ossus! Yet.But all is said an done, I'm gonna go with>Unknown>Dantooine>TythonUnknown lets us find a friend, needless to say, Dantooine is a good place to lay low all around, and Tython is just too good to pass up. We'd neer to male the B-est of B-lines to get there and it'd be a pain survivng there, but not impossible and well worth it.I say we go to Unknown for now to rescue our Kristen, train up on Dantooine and then vanish on Tython when we get the chance.

>[unknown] Ya know what? Fuck known space. Let's take these kids and show em how to sail into unknown waters like a true pirate ass motherfucker!

So who wants to bet the Unknown planet is a Chiss world? They showed up shortly after the republic fell.
>>4006912>[Unkown], a neutral planet in the Unknown Regions, home to an off-shoot branch of humanity. The only thing you know about this planet is that it’s where your message to Kristen was sent. [Unknown Danger]It's the safest bet. Unless it was the Vong. WAIT SHIT FUCKAnyway time to pick these apart. >DantooineLiterally the first place the Empire looks. For some reason. Really, the bad guys ALWAYS look here. >DweemEeeeeh. I guess it could work, but it also has a really high concentration of "Jedi", "battle droids", and lightsabers. So anyone with an enemies list consisting of Jedi, battle droids, and lightsaber wielders... yeah. >KakaritI mean this one is contested between the Seps and Clones. Just a bad idea overall innit? Like Kashyyyk but you don't even get to hang out with Chewbacca. Or Starkiller's dad. Also it sounds like Kakarot. Eww.>OssusI mean if you like radiation poisoning and living with cavemen. >TythonStumbling around the Deep Core is a kind of super duper bad fucking idea. There's the Muur Talisman and Byss and Had Abbadon and fucking Prakith in there. Yeah nah... don't feel like getting immediately murked by a 3000 year-old Jedi and her 5000 year-old Sith daddy dom while our younglings get turned into Rakghouls/yeeted by Papa Palps in about 12 seconds/whatever would happen on Had Abbadon. Probably instant corruption, or slow corruption we don't notice. Actually Had Abbadon might not be too bad/getting torn limb from limb by evil cultists while a body-hopping Dark Jedi deserter from Ruusan and the First Darth dab on you from atop their death pyramid. >[Unknown]MYSTERY BOX CHUGGA CHUGGA CHOO CHOO
>>4006912Anywhere with anything to do with the Jedi seems like a stupid idea.
>>4006978I doubt it's the Vong, more likely the chiss.
>>4006983Sounds like Typhon it is, no Jedi there, just Je'daii.
>>4006978Nah, cant be the Vong OR the Chiss for that matter. They're humanoids but they're their own far seperate branches. You know who I think it is? Earth. They just happen to land in the amazon.>>4006990Think you mean Je'dead.
So, we ready to put that Shadow training to the test?I highly doubt Kristen is in a good situation.I hope Arotta can make it out of Kakarit, but it's too dangerous for us to try to pull of a rescue with the younglings.Maybe if we had Torok attempt a rescue.
>>4006984I doubt that for some reason. It probably isn't the Vong though yeah. Probably going to be pretty quiet until Thrawn rocks up with the Empire of the Hand. Or the straight up Empire. Eh, potato potato. Tangential but remember that time Darth Maul fought a Yuuzhan Vong? That was badass. Goddamn I fucking hate post-Filoni Maul, but that was badass. Then again that /was/ set before TPM but it was still written after TCW season whenever Maul came back. 5?
>>4006973If it's only the Chiss we would be quite lucky. There is a lot of nightmarish shit in the unknown regions.>>4006984So long as it's not the Vong or the bugs I'll be happy. Fucking hell you can still even find ancient Sith alien colonies there.>>4006983The Empire never found out about Dweem.
>>4006992It wouldn't be the Vong's home :^)OOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH Maybe it's Zonoma Sekot. I mean I know it's not. But it'd be nice to find Zonoma Sekot...
>>4006997>The Empire never found out about Dweem.More like nobody cared about writing about the Iron Knights cause they were from some kids' collectible RPG. >Fucking hell you can still even find ancient Sith alien colonies thereThe Lost Tribe? I thought they were in Wild Space? Besides, the Stygian Caldera is on the other side of the Galaxy from the Unknown Regions.
>>4006912>[Unkown], a neutral planet in the Unknown Regions, home to an off-shoot branch of humanity. The only thing you know about this planet is that it’s where your message to Kristen was sent. [Unknown Danger]Best place to start.
The Vong are absolutely garbage.

A lush temperate planet, it holds the ruins of a Jedi Stronghold from the time of the Great Galactic War, and hopefully a small garrison of Clones. [Moderate Danger]Think about the youngling's!
Remember, Kristen is apprenticed to a Consular. It was probably a diplomatic mission gone wrong.Thankfully, because it was likely a diplomatic mission, the clones likely would've had to be non-lethal.Bodyguards suddenly executing emissaries for no discernible reason is a real bad look and could fuck a lot of shit up.
>>4007005There are also Sith Empire remnants located there too.As for Dweem I think its the best place for the younglings.
>>4007013I would but the court says I can't.>>4007008Um sweetie, your Snoke theory is wrong.
>>4007019I don't get your meme, the vong are a shit part of the EU. Really hoping Kaz wouldn't re-introduce that shit.
>>4007023The Vong were cool, the Vong War was cool and they actually effected the course of Galactic history afterwards. Now Legacy of the Force. That was shit. >>4007018>Sith Empire remnants. Do you mean from SWTOR? The ones that re-emerged on Dromund Kaas? Like I said, the Stygian Caldera is half the Galaxy away.
As someone whose EU knowledge is extremely flaky and fragmented at the very best, where's the best place to learn this shit so I know what people are actually talking about?
>>4007030Just spend 3 weeks straight on Wookieepedia. Disregard any sources from The Clone Wars on Legends articles, TCW is Canon and doesn't fit in Legends.

>>4007044>Sith Empire in ExileThat's long gone. Like four Sith Empires ago.
Vote called for venturing into the Unknown regions to investigate Kristen's disappeared signal. A surprise to be sure, as I was almost certain you'd go after Arotta.Say...I wonder how successful Torok was in escaping his squadron? He's a hotshot pilot with over one hundred confirmed kills (five hundred if you count a ship he blew up by dumb luck), trying to outmaneuver and out-dogfight his Clone Squadron.>Please roll 3d6+6 Piloting (Finesse) (+3 Ranks, +3 Finesse) for our feline friend.>Best out of three.>>4007049Just because blue happens to be my favorite color doesn't mean I inherently chase blue xeno booty at the first given opportunity.
