A Minor Intimacy can only be channeled once in a scene, a Major intimacy can only be channeled three times in a scene and a Defining Intimacy can only be Channeled five times in a scene.
On this roll for instance, Karrigan could Channel Joy for Battle to add 1 dice, but if you can come up with a way for this to be relevant to one of her Defining intimacies you could add 3 dice!
Finishing a scene in which Karrigan acts in a manner relating to one of her Intimacies rewards you with 1 willpower at the end of that scene and lets you roll the dice value of the highest Intimacy involved for willpower as well.

The way that the system works is that you have Attributes which are innate qualities like how tough or strong you are and Abilities which are learned skills, and you add your rating in each together to get your dice pool. Attributes start at 1 which is below average, and most people have 2 in every Attribute. Abilities start at zero. For example, Dexterity makes you better at archery but it doesn't make you KNOW archery.
Additionally, you can buy up to 3 points of Specialties for each Ability. For instance, an Archer might have a 1 dot specialty in Surprise and a 2 dot specialty in shortbows, meaning when fighting with a longbow they get no bonus dice, unless they attack from surprise which gives them one extra, and if they attack with a shortbow from surprise they get 3 extra.

Hey OP just poking my head back in. While I got nothing against the premise of this quest or having a big crunchy system. You could really do with upping the pacing.

Looking back at the thread I'm counting over 7 calls for dice rolls to resolve a single combat encounter and 3 roll calls to "resolve" a sex scene. And at the end of the day, you have yet to offer us a real narrative choice. You're just asking anons to roll dice and what to spend when rolling the dice.

It can be fun when you have a more engaged audience who's willing to write in constantly, but without that you're basically stopping the story every paragraph to call for rolls and process outcomes before writing another paragraph worth of quest.

I'm not saying you should make the story itself move faster, I'm saying you should call for fewer rolls, and write more based on those rolls before bookending with the green text that explains what just happened mechanically, because it really rinds my gears to read:
