You're a wild pokemon Living on the Sunburst Island. Life is good and you have gained intrest of strange onix that has taken care of you for as long as you can remember... You would call dad if they didn't seem to insist that you call them brother insted.

Which pokemon are you?
>Ekans
>Venonat
>Psyduck
>Doduo

This is born of my frustration of the wild pokemon quests not moving past the opening post.

You surface in cave lake hiding the pathway to your brothers home. You spent the entire yesterday taking care of him some boy came by and beat up your bro with his charmeleon after water had failed. Seriously it was obious bros crystal was ice like. He alway complains and askes you to use water gun on him to cool off.

You shook your head and decided you need to get going. Today you had plans to...

>Bother the local Mareep herd for the latest human gosip.
>Visit the old wise parasect in the forest for mushrooms.
>Gather Tentacool ink to exchange for medicine later.

Trait gained!
>What Box? - Some pokemon pride themselves on finding unusual solutions to their problems... You on the other hand have no idea what the so caled ordinary solution are.
>>
>>3920351

I have a question.

>Gather Tentacool ink to exchange for medicine later.

You need that medicine. While bro will recover in time no problem speeding up his recovery will not hurt. So you wadle your way out of cave and then go in forest heding to the river that will then flow in to the sea.

Wadling on the path you allways take you prety mutch zone out letting the world just pass by you. Sudenly somthing hits you on the head making everything go wierd. Colors in invert and you smell purple.

When the headache stops you stand befor nervouse Aipom with lots of big rocks scatered around that were not there previously. Somtimes you wonder who is the one that wrecks stuff when you are not paying atention.

"Hey I get it now you are not in the mood for any of my crap today. Here take my Nanab bery." He basicly shoves it in to my hands with his tail and then disapiers within forest. Not knowing what was all that about you shrug and take it.

>Nanab Berry - Has biter sweet taste and has minor calming effect. (Also used for ???)

After that you make you reach the river quickly. Jumping in you the much safer watets. Waving to some pokemon you know as you swim past them you notice a snack on a pointy metal just floting there. You were not born yesterday so you quickly swim bit further not touching the thing. Poking your head out of water fisherman is dosing off giving you an oportunity to swipe the bait box full dried berry goodnes... Only problem seems to be that the Starmie also sleeping next to his folding chair is a light sleeper from your experience. You unconcusly rub the place she last shoked you.

>Obtain snacks. (plan?)

Then you shake your head its not worth it righn now you are on a mision for ink. You then submerge again under water.

It was not long untill you swam in the sea water. While not too unplesant for now atleast you cant imagine actualy living in it.

The next problems that sea is a lot larger than a river and they could be anywhere. You decide to ask the locals for the directions. After some while of being rudely told off by 5 difrent Magikarp you finaly get directions from a Qwilfish he was nice if bit fixated on kelp.

After that finding the location Tentacool should be was not too hard. You quickly spot 2 talking a bit deeper and aproach them. As you swim close you start to hear their conversasion. "So there I was with couple of others in some girly looking flops lab with his equaly girly looking Dewgong. While he was ranting about gigantmax being the true way and other crap so I..." At that point you zoned out as it was rude to interupt a talking mon. Sadly he did not look like he would stop any time soon so I just floted there just behind them. "So the guy got ginourmos..." You wonder how dried kelp tastes... "And the guy just smashes the big human buildings..." Then you bump in to them on acident not really paying atention.

"What..." He turns around redy to fight and then relaxes seing you. "I was warned about you. You want ink?" To that you just give a nod and gesture to swim up. To that he just tentacle shrugs and starts to swim up. "Later Tom." He waves to his pall. "Was told to just give it to you. You do not look so tough for that kind of respect but what migration leader says goes."

On the water surface you take out a glass container out of your water proof bag. It quickly gets filed with black ink.

>Go exchange it now.
>Hang with the Tentacool.
>>
>>3923775
Bro is more important than hoes.
>Exchange the ink as fast as I can.
>>
>>3923793
That he is tought his burns will heal no problem so it is not that urgent.
>>
>>3923775
Geting back to Sunburst Island was mutch simpler than finding Tentacool as the land mass was easy to see in the distance oposed to the limited vision of under water.

While you could get on land oh the main island allmoust at any point of the sandy beach decide to swim bit further along the coast towards the small village on the island. While many visiting humans try to catch you out of the viillage inside they seem to be lass hostile for some strange reasion. As for the locals they seem to think you are funny as they should as you are hilarious even if you do not remember telling them any jokes.

You get on land and then quickly wadle your way along on the main street to the shop smelling of many herbs and beries. The dor is open as allways and you wadle in to see the woman clad in green at the counter and her Venonat just groans aperently not too glad to see me. She quckly notices you and speaks up. "Hey Quack here to trade? If not I will have to shoo you out as last time I let you just hang here you ate some of my good beries." At the mention of the beries your moth watered. Seemingly noticin where your toughts are heding Venonat speeks up. "Trade yes or no? Taby is busy you know"

Shaking away the toughts of food you take out container of ink and present it to them. "Good Tentacool you came trough. You can pick one thing from discount shelf as per our deal." You take a look and imeadiatly feel lost.

You point at an item and give questioning look... To that Taby sighs. "Should have expected this. Thats a salve against freze not toomuch of a demand for that here." You shake your head and point to next item and then the next till you find the salve sgainst burns and you take it. After that you are basicly kicked out by the Venonat with only a small note that taby is runing low on Paras mushrooms and flower polen.

Just as you are about to head back to smaller island containing your home cave your stomach rumbles as its close lunch time.

>Search for proper meal in village.
>Search for proper meal in Forest.
>Just sit down somewhere close and eat your berry. Single berry is not a proper meal by any standart but it will take the edge out.

You decide to try your luck of finding food in the village. So you start making the usual rounds.

The small park where you can somtimes find old ladies feeding Pidgey and other strays is empty and quick look at the Oran bery bush at the parks back quickly reveals it unsuprisingly picked clean of any of ripe berries.

Next stop was the dumpsters behind the caffe but I was chased away by the 5 Rattata that had claimed them as part of their turf.

That only leaft the most risky option taking from the stalls in the market. If I get caught I will not bee able to show my beek here for a good while. Just about when I was to reach the market street I herd a crash from one of the seemingly many buildings. Odly this one did not have fancy crystal displays like many others here. Curious I peeked inside and saw a messwith tools and other things scatered everywhere... Luckly for me part of the mess was whole lot of beries so I sliped in quietly and started to pack them in my bag. Nobody noticing me as there are many pokemon trying the same or just cleening up in general.

"Sorry abot that." Saild a man with glasses dusting himself off. "Its just so hard to not get angry about that prick Alika and his Primarina is no better they rub me the wrong way like they are looking down on me for studying agraculture." He picked up a bery from the floor. I just walked up to him and and poked him. When he looked down I lifted my bag of beries. "Oh thank you for cleening up." He says and places the berry in my bag." You nod and continue picking berries from the floor.

"Yea I know what you mean but, only reasion profesor Ivy alowed us to make this small lab just for us here was because he agreed to fund us." She said resignly. "We would not have gotten off the ground othervise. For a good resion too agraculure and robotics have close to nothing incomon after all."

Not seing any more beries you make your way out. Just as you leave you hear the man ask. "I did not know you has Psyduck." That made you speed up. Bit later you are eating while siting on a park bench. Once full you have 2 beries left over.

>Micle Berry - Has a dry taste increases acuracy for short amount of time. (Also used for ???)

Deciding that you have spent enought time here you start wadling home. Jumping off the docks you quickly swim towards smaller island containing your home cave.

Tought to your suprise you are not the only one at the cave entrance... Theres a young boy and what apers to be his rattata just siting in front of the entrance eating snacks. "I told you Nibles this cave will mahe awsome hiden base." To that the Rattata just lifted a paw and gave thumbs up not even bothering to take his head out of peanut pack. "Too bad we need a boat to get here every time but oh well."

Not thinking too mutch off it you decided just to enter the cave. Just as you entered the clearing next to cave entrance without the surounding bushes to serve as a cover the kid spoke up. "Ohhh... A pokemon lets catch it Rattata!" To that ratata responded by getting between him and you. He seemed serious untill he burped. "Ugh. I think I over ate could you go easy on me?" And so the battle starts with not a roar of defiance but a burp of being too full.

To that decleration my only response is to raise one finger in the universal wait a bit hesture. I quickly pop a Lansat berry in my mouth then I nod to my oponent I will try to not harm him.

To that the kid orders tackle and you are forced to doge and to try Fury Swipes. In hind sight agreeing to go easy on him is more trouble than its worth. "Thats it Rattata keep up the presure!" Then you trip and smash your head in the oposing pokemon for some reasion that sudenly feeps like your strongest single hit physical option. You really do not understand the powers lord Arceus has gifted us.

>Learned Headbutt - DC 14 for flinch DC 18 for forcing Headache.

Deciding that this has gone long enough you concentrate the power of your mind on the kid. "Hey dumy you missed!" Said the Rattata going in for tackle again. Exept he stoped as he herd a frightened screem from the kid. "Did you ju..." The sentence was interupted as the kid droped right on top of him.

Decciding that you have won this you enter the cave while they are still on the ground. The Ratata being pined under his trainer and the trainer just laying on to of his patner mumbling nonsense her really is easy to confuse.

Diving quickly in the cave lake you swin to the underwater tunel leading home. Emerging from water you quickly see the huge for of your bro. He notices you too and he qickly lifts his head. "Hello little brother haow was your day." To that you fish out the burn salve. To that he chukles. "While your sentuments apreciated I am quite big and salve is for someone much smaller. Your spirits drop at that. "Cheer up. I supose that will be enought to treat some of the wort burns."

>>

As you smear the burn salve you speak about your day. Brother mostly just nods comenting here and there with the most notable coments being of you of passing up the bait box. To that he just looks at you like he dose not recognise you any more. witch is rude as you can stay on track no problem you huff and after that you earn small chukle on the story of you getting lunch. He even pokes you with his tail (the lower half that was in water is compleatly undamiged) saying he was woried you were simeone else till then. "I remeber the early days of me taking care of you. You got in to strangest situations I have seen... Why am I talking as if you have stoped? You still do wierd things!"

Changing subject as the conversation was getting akward you ask if he was bored without you. To that he gives you a mysterious look and says he got a visitor that brought him lots of Oran berries as a get well present. He points to the cavern corner where you spot a big oran bery pile. He was unviling to spek any further on the subject thought he never stoped to give you those mysterious looks.

Nothing of real note happened after that. You spoke ate and just enjoyed brothers company in general. That night your sleep in nest was plaigued of images of huge pokemon crushing everything in their path with sadistic glee... It seemed wrong it seemed twisted!

You wake up still in your makshift nest of random soft junk feeling down the dream allready half forgoten and deatails fading by the secound. Shaking your head you decide that today you will.
