You are Inazuma, a spaghetti-spilling, over-thinking, and clumsy destroyer-class ship girl. You don't know what the last part really means, but it's got to do with the ship-borne armaments that appear out of your body at will.
You were once a formless entity inside something that can only be described as an abyss, devoid of anything but your languishing "self".
You raged and wailed against the void, your emotions birthed many things, from dark, emotionless entities, called Abyssals, who wander the seas, destroying anything living on them, to colorful, bright entities that protect the seas, safeguarding them against the darkness.
After an eternity, you were visited by a strange, eldritch entity that gave you a form and thrust you into the world.

Now, you are on a sort of adventure, along with your sister ship, Hibiki, and your mirror image (except for two very large differences) of a benefactor, who goes by the name Ninazuma, but you personally call her Smugzuma, nanodesu. Together with your crew, a group of fairies. Which are usually very small humanoids during combat, which properly reflects their namesake. But now, out of your rigging, they are tall, menacing humanoids with muscles threatening to bulge out of their uniforms.

Your adventure started when your group volunteered to scout out the interior of the island which housed your base, leaving behind RJ, Imuya, Ise and Hyuuga to watch the base while a force consisting of Miyuki, Kitakami and Ooi scouted the coast. You trudged through the jungle for a bit, before setting up a base camp in a clearing at the base of a hill, maybe even a mountain, nanodesu! As the others made camp, you volunteered to scout ahead and see what you could discern from the hill's peak.

When you reached your destination, you found a camp, where you were shocked to find a girl peacefully sleeping on a patch of grass. After waking her up, which was a very hard struggle, you learn that her name was Kako, who seemed to always fall asleep somehow, nanodesu! After a hard round of questioning, provided by Kako's narcolepsy-like state, you decide to spend time to practice wood carving, in order to wait for Hibiki and Smugzuma's group to catch up. A beautiful carved image of Miyuki's lady killer smile later, Hibiki and Smugzuma's group finally arrive, and after having lunch, you all convene together in order to discuss what you would do next. Your group then decide to head back to the camp on the clearing, in order to get some rest and continue scouting out the area tomorrow, nanodesu!

This brings you to what's happening now. You are walking along back to base, in the lead and the rear are groups of your fairies, keeping watch as you tread through the relatively safe jungle trail. As you walk, you are struck by a sudden sense of boredom, nanodesu. You look towards each member of your group. You see Hibiki and Smugzuma, discussing something to each other, one of the two pointing to a seemingly random direction from now and then.

Then you see Kako, shuffling around sleepily, the backpack, which she volunteered to carry, tilted dangerously to a side each time she took a step, prompting worried looks from the fairies in the rear. You should probably do something about that, nanodesu. Or, you could always focus on the task at hand and focus on getting back to base, nanodesu!

What do you do, nanodesu?

>Try to listen in to whatever Hibiki and Smugzuma are talking about, nanodesu! Maybe you could find out whatever happened while you were asleep, nanodesu!

>Assist Kako, nanodesu! It brings you anxiety everytime she tilts dangerously to the side, nanodesu!

>Don't talk to anyone and just focus on getting to camp, nanodesu! (This is a timeskip, nanodesu!)

Welcome to Nanodesu! Quest, wherein your deranged, Inazuma-obsessed, almost always grammatically incorrect, and prone to disappearing QM is back at it again, after slugging through yet another event on all hard, procuring Mikura, Abruzzi, Grecale and De-pokeballing Janus! Afterwards celebrating his procuring of an Inazuma figure and celebrating his 4th year anniversary with Inazuma on the 26th, nanodesu!
It's now time to fish Saury and Sardines, yes. I'm back, nanodesu! All are welcome to join and have fun, nanodesu!

>Assist Kako, nanodesu! It brings you anxiety every time she tilts dangerously to the side, nanodesu!

After one too many precarious tilts from your seemingly eternally sleepy friend, you decide to assist her, nanodesu! You walk back towards Kako, who jerks side to side dangerously. As you walk closer, you notice that her eyes were closed, nanodesu! Hawawawawa! Was she sleeping, nanodesu?!

You then walk alongside Kako, the girl's taller than you, but her thin body makes her look like bamboo swaying in the wind from all her jerking around, nanodesu! You decide to first try and wake her up from her surprisingly competent sleepwalking. Your tried and tested method of pinching her nose until she wakes up can't be done however, seeing as you would have needed to stand on your tiptoes and keep up with the surprisingly agile Kako.

You think for a bit, racking your head on what you could do. Kako then again careens dangerously to the side, almost tipping over. Hawawawa! She's gonna fall over, nanodesu! As your panic-addled brain struggles to coordinate your body to her rescue, Kako straightens herself up and stands still for a moment. The world is still for a moment. The fairies in the rear stare at you then at Kako, even Hibiki and Smugzuma catch glances towards you as they talk. Hawawa! Was she going to wake up, nanodesu! Her head makes a scanning motion, going from left to right, eyes still closed. Then, a nod. She then continues walking, as if nothing happened. Hawawawa!

This was getting too stressful, nanodesu! You quickly procure the help of one of the fairies from the rear group, tasking him with carrying the backpack in Kako's stead. You didn't want to add to the burden of the fairies, but even they saw how dangerous it would be to leave Kako like this. As the fairy takes the backpack off her body, Kako grumbles sleepily. "Mngphftt mmm... Two Nanodesus... One big... One Small..." Hawawawa! What was she dreaming about, nanodesu!

Finally, when the fairy gets the bag off her, you decide to wake her up. You shake her arm gently as your gently call out to her. "Kakooo, wake up, nanodesu!" All it gets you is a sleepy mumble, something about not wanting to eat any more Shibafu potatoes. How curious, nanodesu!

You continue trying to wake her up, but to no avail. Sighing, you decide to instead assist to her to the best of your ability in your journey back to camp.
>>
>>3894282

Finally, after a harrowing experience of righting Kako every time she slipped, tilted dangerously to the side or jerked her body suddenly. You reached the camp almost a quarter of an hour later, tired and sweaty from assisting Kako on your return journey. Hibiki and Smugzuma go about their separate ways, each one leading a haggle of fairies to somewhere inside the camp. Meanwhile, you are left with Kako in the entrance of the camp, where a few fairies were lounging on a few tree stumps, probably taking a break, nanodesu! You stand there for awhile, before looking up to the sky. You see that the sun was still high up, but was starting to go past its zenith. You're surprised no one complained about the heat, nanodesu!

As you ponder about your previous thought, you feel Kako stir through your linked arms. Hawawawa! You didn't realize that in your assisting her, you were linking arms, nanodesu! You feel your face flush red slightly as you immediately pull your hand away. Kako uses the opportunity to stretch her arms up, as a yawn escapes from her mouth. Still with her eyes closed, nanodesu! You sigh, feeling your face cool down a few notches from before. "Kako, we're at camp now, nanodesu!" To her credit, Kako nods at your words...

Before proceeding to start lying down on the ground! Hawawawawa! You immediately try and stop her from doing so, and with the help of a few fairies lounging around, you manage to keep her from sleeping on the damp, dirty, ground, nanodesu! You have a pair of fairies carry her by her arms. You needed to find a tent for her, fast, nanodesu!

Thankfully, there were a lot of fairies running around doing various work around the campsite. You manage to flag down one of the fairies who wasn't carrying anything too heavy, or too important. You then ask the fairy where you could take your sleeping friend, and she points you to a group of tents huddled together in a corner of the camp. You thank her for the time, and proceed to let her go on her way.

You and the fairies, who were practically dragging Kako around, walk towards the circle of tents, the fairies who pass by stay clear of your group, catching a few curious glimpses on the snoring ship girl the other two fairies were carrying.

When you reach the tents, you are greeted by the sight of Hibiki pouring over the map, and using a pen to probably add notes her and there. A few paces behind her was Smugzuma, talking to a group of fairies who seemed to be readying to go back out into the jungle. The first to notice your arrival however, was your own commander fairy who immediately walked towards you and gave you a salute, which you returned. She motions to Kako. You turn your head toward her, and then back to commander fairy. You realized that you should probably ask them for their names soon, nanodesu. You ponder your options for a bit.
>>
>>3894285

You could continue taking care of Kako, probably get some sleep yourself until dinner time, where the camp will probably get busy, nanodesu. You could also spend time with your older sister, Hibiki and help with the map making in the process, or you could check out what Smugzuma was planning to do, maybe she was planning to go explore some more, nanodesu?

You weigh your options for a bit, before choosing to

>Continue taking care of Kako, nanodesu! Maybe you could even catch some shut-eye, or you could try and wake up Kako for more questioning. Although you think that would be pretty hard, nanodesu.

>Spend time with Hibiki, nanodesu! You wanted to bond with your older sister more, and there was an ample opportunity before you! And of course, you could help with the map, to the best of your ability, nanodesu!

>Spend time with Hibiki, nanodesu! You wanted to bond with your older sister more, and there was an ample opportunity before you! And of course, you could help with the map, to the best of your ability, nanodesu!

After weighing your options you decide to go and spend some time with your older sister, nanodesu! You nod to yourself as you make your choice. You tell your commander fairy to take Kako into one of the empty tents to let her continue sleeping at least until dinner time, nanodesu. Commander fairy nods and leads the two fairies carrying Kako into one of the nearby tents. You see them off, before walking towards your busy older sister.

Hibiki was sitting on a bench fashioned from the trunk of some hardwood, the map which she worked on was set on a table carved from the same type of tree. You're amazed by how skilled the fairies were, nanodesu! You approach Hibiki from behind, careful to not disturb Hibiki and her work. You peek over her shoulder, and see that the map was getting pretty detailed, nanodesu! Things such as ruins, groves of fruit trees, and other notable geographical landmarks. You could even see that the glinting metal you could see from a top the hill was marked on the map, nanodesu! Hawawawa! At this point, you didn't have anything to help her with, nanodesu!

Wanting to see more of the map, you move closer towards your older sister and rest your chin on her shoulder. You feel your older sister twitch in surprise. She turns her head toward you, and breathes a sigh of relief. You are tickled by her breath. Hibiki pats your head before gently pulling you away from her shoulder. You smile. "Hello, Hibiki-nee" You say as you plop yourself beside your older sister. She returns the smile with her own. "Hello, Inazuma." She returns to her work. You quietly observe your older sister at work.
>>
>>3895786

Silence passes over you two before Hibiki puts down the pen. You look up at her from your gaze on the map. She stretches her arms up, and you hear the popping of joints. "Is there anything you want, Inazuma?" You shake your head. "I just wanted to spend time with you, nanodesu! Maybe help with the map, nanodesu!" Hibiki chuckles at your last statement and says "And from what you've seen" You finish her sentence for her. "You didn't need my help, nanodesu!" You pout and look away in mock annoyance. Your older sister chuckles again. She cups her chin with her hand and ponders for a bit. Then, you see the fiery glint of an idea in your sister's eyes.

"Inazuma." She calls to you gently. You stop pouting and start to turn your head toward her, but you are immediately greeted by a blanket of white quickly falling down onto the bench. Thankfully, your body reacts quickly, and somehow, you manage to catch your older sister who has somehow managed to land her head comfortably onto your lap. She looks up at you and chuckles before smirking. "This is how you can help." You pout again. "That was very dangerous, nanodesu! What if I didn't catch you, nanodesu!" Your older sister chuckles as she closes her eyes. "I knew you would catch me."

You sigh, before running your fingers through her hair. That's when you hear footsteps walking towards you. You turn your head towards the footsteps, and see Smugzuma, showing off her signature smugness. She mouths a few letters. You read them. G A Y. You feel your blood boil, but you can't do anything about it. She knows.

Then she goes on her merry way, going into the jungle, a group of fairies following behind her. You watch her as she walks into the thick brush of the jungle. When her group finally disappears into the jungle, you return your focus back to your older sister, whose eyes were now open and staring up into the sky. Curious, you also turn your head up, but find nothing but the blue, cloudless sky.
>>
>>3895787

"Inazuma." You return your gaze back to your older sister. "Yes, nanodesu?" She raises a hand up and you take it. It's warm, nanodesu. "Nothing. Just wanted to call your name." You giggle as you pat your older sister's head.

A few silent moments pass as you and Hibiki just enjoying the time you have together. Then suddenly, your sister speaks up. "Do you... ever feel afraid?" You tilt your head. Afraid of what, nanodesu? "Afraid of how, everything seems... fleeting...?" Wrong in what way, nanodesu? She was getting you very confused.

Your older sister continues to speak "I... I had a dream in the infirmary." Hibiki becomes silent. You nod for her to continue. "I saw you, sailing in the ocean. It was night." You feel your older sister tense up. "You looked back towards me with a small smile and then... The abyss swallowed you up..." Her voice trails off. "It felt, real. Like it wasn't a dream... But a memory... I'm scared, Inazuma." You squeeze her hand. She squeezes back, tighter. "I know it's probably nothing, but, what do you think, Inazuma?"

Well, what do you think, nanodesu?

>It was nothing but a dream, nanodesu! There was nothing to worry about nanodesu! You were here after all, nanodesu! You were going to beat her bad dreams away, nanodesu!

>Smile at your older sister, and sing her a lullaby to lull her to sleep. You didn't know if there was any significance to that dream, but you've experienced weirder dreams before. Maybe she just needed someone to guard her while she slept.

>Say nothing, dreams were just dreams after all, nanodesu. Maybe not for you, but it was certainly was for your older sister. Tell her that there was nothing to worry about, and that you were here with her, and nothing was going to change that, nanodesu.

>It was nothing but a dream, nanodesu! There was nothing to worry about nanodesu! You were here after all, nanodesu! You were going to beat her bad dreams away, nanodesu!

You let your older sister's words linger in your head for awhile. It was probably just a dream, nanodesu. At least, that's what you would think, if not for your past experiences with your own strange dreams. But your own experience was unimportant to the matter at hand, after all, you had an anxious older sister to comfort.

The first thing you do is adjust your posture, peering over your older sister's face, ensuring that the only thing she could see was your face. You feel your older sister twitch in surprise. Then, you take both of your hands, seeing the distress in your older sister's eyes when you let go of her hand which was still tightly holding onto yours only a few moments ago. You then place one on each of her cheeks.

She mumbles through squeezed cheeks a few words that you don't quite understand, but you're pretty sure it's something along the lines of "What are you doing?" Nanodesu. You give her a thin smile. Then, she's hit with a realization. Her eyes widen, but you don't give her the chance to react.

Then, you push, and pull.

You contort your older sister's face for a bit, she struggles fiercely, her arms flailed towards you in a bid to have you let go, her waist twisting and turning to free her from your grasp. Somehow, you hold on, somehow, you hold her still as you continue squeezing, pulling on her cheeks, enjoy yourself for a bit. Then, you abruptly stop. Your older sister's eyes are glazed over as she looks up at you. Her breathing is haggard, and her clothes, the tracksuit, are a mess.

To tell the truth, she looked pretty lewd, nanodesu! You shake your head to clear yourself of any pink thoughts. Then, you give her a smile. The best smile you could ever muster. It was no lady-killer Miyuki smile, but you did your best, nanodesu!

Your older looks visibly confused for a moment, before you gently tell her what you resolved to do. "Don't worry, nanodesu! It was nothing but a dream, nanodesu! Your little sister" freeing one of her cheeks from your grasp, you point to yourself with a thumb, you look up raising your chin in confidence. "Is here to beat your bad dreams away, nanodesu!"

A silence passes over you two after your announcement. It was getting pretty tiring to hold your pose. Who knew it was hard to do a proud pose, nanodesu! Next time, maybe you'd do something more simple, like a thumbs-up, nanodesu!
>>
>>3898066

Your body slowly starts to feel tired from the pose which you have to hold for a few seconds. You're starting to think about changing your pose, but then you feel your older sister laugh, a small laugh, but a laugh nonetheless, nanodesu! You look back at your older sister's face. You smile, and she smiles back. You think she gets the message, nanodesu.

You return to a more comfortable position, as your older sister lays down your lap silently while you pour over the map absentmindedly, both of you enjoy the peacefulness. Then, you feel someone tug on your clothes. You peer down to look at your sister's face. And she announces in a deadpan voice, her eyes devoid of any emotion. "I'll get you back for that, you know." Hawawawawawa, how scary, NANODESU!

After lounging about and enjoying each other's company for awhile, your sister finally gets up from her laying down position. A voice in the back of your head tells you to pull her back down, to let her rest more, but you don't pay it any attention. Besides, you didn't want a certain someone to come back and see you and give her comments. Even if she was in the jungle right now, who knew when she would suddenly reappear, nanodesu.

Hibiki streches her arms up into the sky, her back facing you. After double checking if there were any spots she missed stretching, she turns towards you. "I'm going to see if I can help the fairies with cooking, how about you Inazuma, do you have anything that you have to do?" You tilt your head. There was much to do. Maybe you could check on Kako, but she was probably just sleeping, nanodesu. You could go with Hibiki, but you didn't want to impose on the fairies as they worked, or you could stay here and look over the map, maybe you could learn more about what you've already explored, nanodesu! Maybe you could wait for Smugzuma to come back and deside if you should head back to base tomorrow, nanodesu!

>What do you do, nanodesu?

>Go check up on Kako, nanodesu! You'll probably only see her sleeping. But maybe she'll be awake and able to talk, nanodesu!

>Go with Hibiki and help with the preparation of dinner, nanodesu! You weren't confident with your cooking skills, but you would try your best, nanodesu!

This took far too long to write because of constant distractions...

>Go check up on Kako, nanodesu! You'll probably only see her sleeping. But maybe she'll be awake and able to talk, nanodesu!

After thinking about your choices for a moment, you decide to check up on your probably very asleep friend, Kako, nanodesu! You tell Hibiki about your choice, and your older sister nods. "See you later then." She stands up and then proceeds to walk to the direction to which you assume is the kitchen. You wave good bye as she walks away. She looks back towards you from time to time, but everytime she does, you greet her with a small smile. When your older sister disappears from your view, you pick yourself off the bench, pat off dirt from your tracksuit and start to walk away. Then you realize that you probably shouldn't leave the map just laying around so you double back towards the table, fold the map, and holding it under your arm, then continue on your way.

You trace your steps back as you walk towards the tent Kako was in. The tents were of a simple, triangle framed variety covered in navy green tarp. The fairies probably procured them from somewhere, nanodesu! As you walk among the small gathering of tents, you notice the surroundings get darker. You look up to the sky and note that there were rain clouds gathering over head. You feel the wind on your skin, and note that it wasn't damp enough for rain. But it wouldn't hurt to stay near a shelter just in case, nanodesu.
>>
>>3899177

When you finally reach the tent Kako was brought in to, you take a deep breath. It was the moement of truth, nanodesu! Would Kako be asleep? or would she be awake, nanodesu! In the back of your mind you hear some kind of music play in the back of your head. You shake it out, before bending down, your hands reaching for the tarp. But instead, you feel a tuft of hair in your hand. Hawawawa! You pull back your hand in surprise. What greets you is a very sleepy Kako. Peeking out from inside the tent, her eyes still closed. A few silent moments pass, then Kako's eyes slowly flutter open. She looks up at you. "Heyaaaa Inazumaaaaa" She raises a hand, and waves it once. You return her gesture. "H-hello, nanodesu."

Kako grins sleepily, then asks you a question. "Do you know where I can get some waaaater?" You freeze. You actually didn't know, nanodesu. You look around, searching for any rescue. Then, you see your savior. A fairy lugging around various pots and pans. You excuse yourself from Kako for a moment and immediately run towards the fairy who was slowly gaining distance away from you. When you finally reach him, you are breathing and sweating heavily, nanodesu. To his credit, the fairy puts down the things he's carrying, and waits for you to speak. Finally, in between panting you manage to utter "Water..." The fairy nods in understanding. He rummages around the pockets on his uniform then produces from them a canteen. He hands it to you, and you accept. He pats your head and ruffles your hair before he walks away.

Hawawawa! You didn't thank him yet, nanodesu! "T-Thank you! Nanodesu!" You shout toward the fairy. He looks back towards you once, nods, then goes on his merry way, you smile as you see him disappear from view. Then, you turn to return to Kako, only to find her there, sleepiily sitting on a nearby tree stump. Hawa! You jump back, and somehow avoid landing yourself on the ground. You take a moment to steady yourself, looking towards Kako as you do so, who merely yawns sleepily. "Did'ja get the waaaateeeer?" You nod. She flashes another sleepy grin. "You first though. You seem thirsty, yeaaah?" Now that she mentioned it, you were thirsty, nanodesu! You gently twist open the cap of the canteen, and drink. After taking a few gulps from the canteen, you see that Kako has already stretched her hand out to recieve it from you. You oblige.

As she drinks her fill, you are then assaulted by a sudden surge of emotion. You shrug it off for a second, turning your attention back to Kako. That's when you realize, IT WAS AN INDIRECT KISS, NANODESU! Hawawawa! You calm yourself down. It didn't mean anything, nanodesu. It was just you sharing water with her, nanodesu. Deep steady breaths, nanodesu!
>>
>>3899178

Somehow, you calm yourself down. Kako gulps down the remainder of the water and hands the canteen back to you. You thank her before stuffing it into a pocket inside one of your tracksuit's pants. Kako sighs in satisfaction. She turns to look at you. She then nods to herself. Before starting to nod off. "Hawawawawa!" You move to shake her awake, but you're stopped by Kako opening her eyes and grinning "Was just jooookiiiing." She stands up and stretches. You sigh. "Hey Inazumaaa" You turn your attention back to her. "Where is everyone else?" You sigh. Then you start explaining.

You explain that Smugzuma, or Ninazuma, was out exploring, and will probably be back for dinner, meanwhile your older sister Hibiki, was busy helping the fairies prepare said dinner. "It is getting late." You nod to Kako's words. Kako sits back down on the stump she was sitting on before. She pats on the spot beside her, and you oblige. You hear Kako murmur. "Hmmmmmmmm" She sinks deep into thought. You wait for her to finish, after all, it wasn't like you had anything to do, nanodesu. Then, a few moments later, she nods to herself. She stands up. You follow suit. Then she sits back down. You also sit back down.

"Yeaaaaah do you know what we could do around heeereeeee, Inazumaaaa?" Hawawawa! You also had no idea, nanodesu!

You both convene and talk about what you could around camp. Kako suggested going back to her tent and sleeping until dinner, but you didn't agree, nanodesu! There was much to do, nanodesu! Like... Helping make dinner and... Watch the fairies work, nanodesu! You then realized that there really was not much you could do around the camp, nanodesu.

What do you decide to do, nanodesu?

>Help with making dinner, nanodesu! Of course, you did separate from your older sister not too long ago, but spending more time with her might be good, nanodesu!

>Go around and watch the fairies while they worked, nanodesu! Who knows, you could find something interesting, nanodesu!

>Get back to Kako's tent and sleep, nanodesu! There wasn't that much to do, nanodesu! And a short nap wouldn't hurt anyone, nanodesu! Probably, nanodesu.

>Help with making dinner, nanodesu! Of course, you did separate from your older sister not too long ago, but spending more time with her might be good, nanodesu!

>14, success, nanodesu!

After talking it out with Kako, you decide to go and help with making dinner, nanodesu! You could spend even more time with your older sister, nanodesu! And even if you had no confidence in your culinary skills, you could always help with the prep-work, nanodesu! But then, you stumble onto a problem. You didn't exactly know where the location of what constituted as a kitchen on camp, was, nanodesu! You start to look around in panic, before your savior comes. In the form of Kako pointing to the direction the fairy carrying the pots and pans walked to. Hawawa! Of course, nanodesu!

You and Kako start to make your way towards the direction the pots and pans fairy walked to. As you walk your way there, Kako would sometimes stumble dangerously. After one too many close calls, you decide to offer her your shoulder, which she accepts and then promptly falls asleep. You sigh. It was going to be very hard to continue walking with a tall girl sleeping on your shoulder. But you'll do your best, nanodesu!

After a very long while of basically carrying Kako, you start to see a thin pillar of smoke rising into the sky, and the smell of various spices fills the air around you. Finally, you reach the kitchen. Which was basically a gathering of campfires huddled together to make the transport of fuel for the fire easier. Some of the campfires had pots hanging over them, some were covered in a screen for grilling. Some were even being used as an oven of some sort, nanodesu! Hawa! It was a very varied spread of meals, nanodesu! It was wonderful, nanodesu! As you marvel at the amount of food being prepared, you notice Kako stirring from her sleep, mumbling something about how the curry Furutaka makes was delicious.

Maybe it was time to wake her up, nanodesu! You were getting tired from carrying her, nanodesu! "Kakooo" You call out to her as you try and shake her awake. "We're here, nanodesu." Her eyes slowly open, and she stands up, stretching her arms up as she does so. She then turns her head from one side to another, sniffing the air as she did. "I'm ooooff." You hear her say, as she proceeds to walk towards a group of fairies huddled around a pot. You proceed to try and stop her, but you are stopped by someone calling out to you. "Inazuma!" You turn your head to the voice, and see your older sister, with a pink apron over her jumpsuit and a... brass pot? Over her head. Where did she get that, nanodesu! Your older sister waddles over towards you, carefully balancing the pot on her head as she does.

You stare in confusion until she gets close. "Glad to see that you're here, Inazuma." Your older sister smiles, but you can't take your eyes off the peculiar sight of her having a pot over her head. "Oh." Her eyes point up, and you can see a slight shade of red on her cheeks. "This?" she then points to the pot on her head. You nod slowly. "Long story. A fairy carrying pots and pans passed by me while I cooked. He placed it on my head, I protested. But the other fairies told me it was cute so... I kept it there." you nod again. "It doesn't look too weird, right...?" you shake your head. You could live with it, nanodesu! Hibiki sighs in relief. "Well, now that you're here, let's get cooking, shall we?" you nod. "I'll try my best, nanodesu!" you raise your fist into the air. You older sister smiles at your enthusiasm.

"Let's go, Inazuma." She holds her hand out toward you, and you take it. Hibiki leads you towards one of the many campfires in the kitchen, maybe cooking area was more appropriate, nanodesu? Once there, a fairy takes the map off your hands, which you almost forgot about, and hands it to Hibiki who then hands it on a fairy who was walking away from the kitchen area, then the fairy hands you a pink apron to put over your tracksuit, you matched with your sister, nanodesu! After getting yourself ready, you see that Hibiki was now standing near a pot, stirring some bright red liquid inside. Hawa! "What's that, nanodesu?" You ask your older sister as you stand beside her. "Borscht." you tilt your head. "Borschst, nanodesu?" your older nods. "Do you need help, nanodesu?" she shakes her head. "Although..." Her older sister points to a fairy mixing some kind of batter. "Could you help with the blins." you tilt your head again. "Blins, nanodesu?" your older sister nods. "Pancakes." your eyes light up. "Pancakes, nanodesu!" your older sister smiles. "Although, I'm not sure why we're serving something like that for din-"

You didn't even hear what your older sister said, as you were busy walking towards the batter mixing fairy. When he notices your presence, he smiles. You smile in return, and explain to him that you were going to help him with cooking, nanodesu! He nods to your explanation, and points you towards a pan being heat up on the white hot coals of a campfire. He then hands you the bowl he was mixing the batter in, and lets you do your work. Hawa! Exciting, nanodesu!

You get to work like you've never had before, nanodesu! You fry them left and right, nanodesu! You mess up some of the first few ones, but that's fine nanodesu! You heard from somewhere that you place those on the bottom of the stack, nanodesu! You work until you run out of batter, but every time you do run out, the fairy hands you another bowl to cook with. How exciting, nanodesu!

shameless short post because I fucked up the spacing and I can sneak in a picture of Inazuma in an apron, nanodesu.

As you stand back to admire your handiwork, you notice that the clamor of the kitchen was starting to die down, allowing you to look over the cooking area and the dining area. To your surprise, you see Kako in an apron, eyes closed, setting tables left and right with the grace of a pro, nanodesu! Hawawawa! How can she do that! She's going so fast, nanodesu!

As you admire Kako, you see your older sister was done with her own cooking. She flags down a fairy who she requests to carry the pot over to another group of fairies plating up all the various meals as best as they can, the fairy obliges her request. The fairy who you worked with also went to work carrying the many stacks of Blins you made, nanodesu! Hibiki then comes over to you, pot still on her head. Hawa! Did she really cook with that on her head all this time, nanodesu!

"Good job, Inazuma." Your older sister pats your head ruffling your hair as well. You let her her continue for a bit until she's satisfied. Your hair's a mess, but that was okay, nanodesu! "I'll go freshen up for a bit. How about you Inazuma?" You'll go as well, nanodesu! Hibiki nods, and both of you go and get yourselves clean.

As both of you walk back from cleaning up, courtesy of a kind fairy and a barrel of water, you pass by Smugzuma's group, who were covered in dirt and mud from exploring. Hibki, minus the pot from her head, is the first to greet them. "Welcome back Ninazuma." Smugzuma turns towards you both and bows slightly. "I'm back Nee-san, Inazuma." You return her bow with your own. "Weclome back, nanodesu." Your older sister smiles at you both. "I bet you're hungry Ninazuma, dinner's ready but you should get cleaned up, there's fresh water back there." Smugzuma nods, and walks back to where you and Hibiki came from.

You and Hibiki send Smugzuma off, before getting back to the now crowded dining area. Fairies were huddled in groups, sitting on wooden benches and tables carved from wood, but some were eating cross legged on the ground, a picnic cloth covering the ground beneath them. You see that Kako was part of the latter, sitting with a group of fairies who were trying their best to keep her awake to avoid her nodding off and diving straight into her plate. Meanwhile, you see Smugzuma and her group had returned, and were now heading for a quiet corner of the dining area.

As you look around the dining area, you hear a stomach rumble beside you. Your older sister's face flushes red. "I... I think I'll go first, Inazuma, how about you? Who will you seat with?"

Who do you sit with, nanodesu?

>Sit with Hibiki, nanodesu! You wanted to have dinner with your older sister, nanodesu!

>Sit with Smugzuma, nanodesu! Maybe you could hear about what they saw, nanodesu!

>Sit alone, nanodesu. You wanted to contemplate for a bit, and you were tired, nanodesu.

>Sit alone, nanodesu. You wanted to contemplate for a bit, and you were tired, nanodesu.

You smile at Hibiki, then shake your head. "I think I'm going to sit alone, nanodesu." your older sister nods. "I understand, I'll go eat with my crew then." you nod, glad that your older sister understands. You both then go and get in the long line of fairies getting their meals. From the diverse spread of meals that they were serving, no one would be left wanting, nanodesu.

As you and Hibiki stand in line, the fairy in front of both of you turns his head, looks at the fairy in front of him, then pokes the fairy in the back. The fairy looks at the poking fairy, confused, and then he gestures to the both of you. This preceedes a wave of poking and gesturing until the whole line gets in an agreement, and parts ways for you and Hibiki. Hawawawa! As you panicly wave your arms around in embarrassment at your V.I.P. treatment, your older sister merely nods, and walks forward, thanking each fairy that she passed by with a small nod.

Hawa! You follow suit after her, bowing at each fairy you pass by. When you reach the front, you are greeted by a bunch of makeshift tables packed to the brim with various dishes. You can see everything from fried rice, the pancakes you made, fish cooked in almost every way you can imagine, and of course, the red soup that your older sister cooked, you think it was called borscht, nanodesu!

As you admire the spread of food in front of you, you didn't notice your older sister get handed a tray, get served, and then go towards a group of fairies huddled together, drinking what seems to be clear water, but from the way their faces are flushed, you doubt it was water, nanodesu!

Then, you realize that you were holding up the line by idling, nanodesu! You apologize to the fairies behind you with a bow, and proceed to get a tray, be served with a mound of food, and then walk towards the quiet corner of the lively dining area. There, you find a lone table and chair. You find it weird how no one was even near it, but you didn't mind, nanodesu.

There, you could spend a peaceful dinner, as you watched the sun go down, slowly turning day into night. You set down the tray, and then get to eating. Consuming the amount of food in front of you seemed like a daunting endeavor, but you were alone, with no one to take care of. After putting your hands together in thanks, you dig in.
>>
>>3903946

When you are finished, you feel as full as one can be. Your fullness gives way to drowsiness, but you fight back. You didn't want to sleep here and get a cold, nanodesu! You start to stand up, and take the tray lade with dishes with you, when a fairy walks towards you and cleans up for you. You try to tell the fairy to stop, but then you realize it was none other than your commander fairy, nanodesu! You try and tell her that you could do it on your own, but she continues cleaning up after you, and even calls over two other female fairies, part of your crew, over, instructing them to take you to the communal tent where you and the other female fairies in your tent would be staying for the night.

Without being able to protest, you are dragged off into the night, into a tent where a group of fairies quickly dress you up in a comfortable pink pajama. Everything happens so fast that it all blurs together by the time you get your senses back in order, you are wrapped up in a sleeping bag, huddled together with a bunch of fairies who were either sleeping or trying to sleep. The tent is large enough for you to comfortably lie on your back, but just tight enough that you can feel the body heat of the fairy beside you, and from the hat currently on her face, you're sure it was commander fairy.

You think about what happened the last twenty four hours. You had a meeting with everyone, went into the jungle, found Kako, went with Kako back to the camp, bonded with your sister for a bit, then met Kako, and cooked with your older sister... You realize that you've spent most of your day with either Kako or Hibiki. You haven't spoken with Smugzuma for awhile, and should probably talk with her the next opportunity you get, nanodesu.

Slowly, you close your eyes and sink into sleep.

...

"Squadron, sortie! Let's scout out the waters!"

You are Miyuki, and you are about to go and scout out the waters around your base together with two very friendly to each other light cruisers. This'll be fun!

And thus ends this thread of Nanodesu! Quest, tune in next time when you aren't Inazuma and are actually Miyuki.

Yes, I did end on a cliffhanger because I'm a massive asshole, no, I'm not sorry.

Please wait patiently (and for a long time) as I return my focus to KanColle because Tanaka and his cronies think it's a funny joke to hold events back to back to each other.

This has been your deranged, Inazuma-obsessed, almost always grammatically incorrect, and prone to disappearing QM, signing off, nanodesu!
