Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Karn traveled to an alternate timeline, both to get practice fighting against Hatchiyack and to protect his daughter of that time. Upon arrival he fought Hatchiyack, the machine overpowering even his Berserker form working with the Chaya and Kakarot, who call themselves Goku and Amaya, of that timeline. But matters got complicated from there, the Time Patrol sending Goku and Vegeta to stop him. Karn fought Vegeta until Future Chaya’s arrival, then managed to defeat Ace when the Patroller burned himself out going for a Kaio-Ken Blue Kamehameha. But then Karn got captured, trapped in the stretchy Patroller Buula’s arms as Trunks’ woman Hyoka prepared to attack. As we rejoin Karn, Hyoka is firing her attack.

“MAFUBA!!” she roars, and suddenly you and Buula get hit with the green blast. But it doesn’t impact you like any attack you’ve been hit with, your body feeling like it’s stretching out. The other Time Patroller’s arms come loose, you screaming in agony as what feels like your entire body is being stretched apart.
“Got you now!” the stretchy Time Patroller says, seeming very unaffected by what’s happening. “This time you’re going down!”
“Grrrraaaaaa!!” you roar in agony, trying to fight against the pull of the green swirling vortex. But despite your power, you can’t resist the vortex’s pull. She swirls you around the green whirling energy again, and again, and again. You wonder when this is going to stop, or if she’s just trying to pull you apart, when her movement changes. You’re send up into the air, then swung down towards her. Or more specifically, some sort of jar at her feet, you realizing what’s happening. She’s trying to somehow seal you away inside it. You try and break free, to do something, but you can’t break the attack’s hold. You’re going into the-wait, why is everything blue?

BOOM

“Ow.” you mutter to yourself, finding yourself laying on the ground. Your everything hurts and you are left exhausted and panting from the strain of what you’d just been through. But you’re not in the jar, looking around groggily you see the Time Patrollers confronting your daughter, and Kakarot. You take a moment to listen in and gather your wits, realizing as you look down that whatever that attack was, it forced you out of your more demonic form, leaving you in your base state.

“-any idea what you’ve done?!” Hyoka shouts, near-hysterically. “We almost had him, until you two shot the jar away and made me miss! What were you thinking?”
“That’s my father.” you hear ‘Amaya’ say, a smile coming to your face despite not knowing how she’d know that. “And I don’t care who you are, you’re not taking him away!”
“Listen, Amaya.” Hyoka says, obviously struggling to keep her cool. “That man is not your father.”

“Your father, and yours too Goku, both died fighting against Freeza.” she says, as Buula begins to rise back to her feet. “They died trying to protect their home, and their families. And to one day give you the chance to succeed, should they fail. This man is not your father, he comes from a timeline where Freeza kept the Saiyans as his vanguard, slaughtering hundreds of worlds-“
“Hey Hyo, hold up and bean me.” Buula says wearily, Hyoka reaching to a small sack tied to her belt, rummaging around a moment before pulling out a small green bean. With a flick of her wrist Hyoka tosses it, Buula catching it with her mouth by stretching her neck upwards several feet. Even from a dozen or so feet away you hear it crunch, then wince as Buula’s power again shoots right up. Dammit, this could be a problem. But now you know where their healing beans are, so that could be useful.

The four are still talking, so you could use this opportunity to act. Or you could remain where you are, and bide your time for a more opportune moment. But if you try to attack or transform, there’s no doubt they’ll both sense it and attack. But if you do nothing, they may decide to try again without talking to Chaya and Kakarot for much longer.

“You say I’m not her father, huh?” you say, shakily pushing yourself to your feet. Both Time Patrollers, Chaya, and Kakarot all turn towards you, as you stand tall before them. “That just because I’m not from her timeline means I’m not her ‘real’ father, huh? You’re full of shit.”
“You-!” Buula says, stretching her arms out to wrap you up. But instead of letting her capture you easily, once she’s got you ‘trapped’ you roar, going Berserk. Your transformation bulks your body up, blasting her arms off of you as your strength explodes upwards. “Hyaa?”
“Let me tell you something.” you continue, reverting back to base and speaking as if nothing’d happened. “They say it was wrong of me to come here, and protect you from Hatchiyack was wrong. But I saw what would have happened if I didn’t. Chaya, you and Kakarot both would have died in that blast had I not showed up. And if these assholes had their way, you would have. But it doesn’t matter to me. You’re my daughter, Chaya. And no matter what timeline you’re from, I love you. You are mine, and I will do everything in my power to protect you.”

“That’s enough out of you, Karn!” Hyoka shouts, aura flaring then shifting to white around her as lightning begins dancing through it and her strength multiplies more than a hundred times over. This could be trouble. “That’s enough talking, we’re taking you down! C’mon Buula, let’s go!”
“R-Right!” Buula shouts, steam blasting out all around her body. You shield your face as her strength surges, the creature transforming as well. Once her power levels out, and the steam dies down, you see she’s become something else. Whereas before her form was weird but definitely feminine, this new form is androgynous. “Shaaaa!”
“Wh-What?” Chaya says, both her and Kakarot both stepping back in trepidation. “What the hell?”
“Stay back kids.” you say, flaring your own aura up. “

“GRRAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, going all-out and transforming. Your power explodes upwards, body rapidly expanding to accommodate your fullest power. Lightning dances around your powerful green aura as you roar out, your body reaching your full size as you unleash your full power. You don’t go Supervillain, instead unleashing your Ascended Berserker form and givingg 100% of your own power. “HRRAAAAAA!!”

“Shit, we gotta take him down! Now!” Hyoka shouts, and both her and Buula dash straight at you. But instead of rushing and attacking them, you brace yourself for their combined attack. Their fists slam into your forearms, forcing you to lose a few feet of ground before sliding to a stop. “Nrrg, c’mon! We gotta take him down!”
“Kyaaaahahahahaa!!” Buula shouts, unleashing a flurry of punches. But she doesn’t get any closer, instead stretching her arms out and back in a rapid-fire barrage. You’re forced to fully focus on her, arms up and trying to mitigate the damage she’s trying to dish out.
“Got you now! Kamehame-!” Hyoka shouts out, you suddenly sensing her ki from behind you. Shit, this isn’t good! “HAAAA!!”

“Dammit!” you shout, narrowly leaping aside to the left. You cut it close but barely make it, the blue beam missing you. Instead, it slams into Buula, you watching in surprise as her attack obliterates Buula. Her entire upper body is consumed by the blast, and when Hyoka ends it, you see that her attack actually obliterated it! Your jaw drops, she just killed her ally!
“N-No way!” you hear this timeline’s Chaya shout out.
“She killed her!” Kakarot shouts as well, the two Saiyans far more surprised than you. But then you’re all surprised as her body quickly regenerates before your eyes! “Woah!”
“Hyaaahaaahaaahaaa!” she taunts you, then dashes off the ground at you. But as she flies headlong at you, you watch in surprise as she curls herself up into a ball. You’re not ready for the sudden shift in tactics, her speed suddenly more than doubling and slamming square into your gut.

“Guh!” you wheeze, doubling over in pain as her entire bodymass slams into you and forces the air from your lungs. Before you can do anything she unwinds, kicking you in the chin and sending you flying as she returns to her ‘normal’ shape. But as you’re sent flying, trying to breathe, you watch as she gathers her ki in a familiar technique.
“KaaaMeee-!” she begins, the gathering ki surprising you by being pink instead of the usual blue.
“HaaaMeeee!!” Hyoka shouts from somewhere behind you, her own ki jumping as well. They’re planning to catch you between their attacks, you have to do something or this’ll really hurt!

That’s it! You know exactly what to do!

“DRAGON FORCE!!” you roar, Stand exploding forth out around you. Your Stand unleashes a bellowing roar as it materializes, your massive Stand appearing larger than ever as you realize you’d never yet summoned your Stand while in this form. But before you attack, if either of those blasts hit you’d be in real danger. So instead of attacking you focus your ki, and activate Dragon Force’s special move Eternal Dragon. It’s scales become tangible, and nearly indestructible.

“HAAAAA!!” Buula and Hyoka shout, both firing their beams at you. But you’re ready, your massive Stand is prepared and ready. The blasts both slam into your draconic body, but despite both of their strengths can’t even make you budge like this. After several seconds their combined attack ends, both not immediately rushing at you. Seems that they’re both hesitant to rush at you, at least for right now.

Out job here, as I understand it, is to save this timeline's Chaya and Kakarot, get some experience and not burn too much hoarded power before the next attack on New Salda.

Fighting a Majin is useful experience, but we already know SKOT can resurrect her minions. So why burn the extra power on what is effectively a distraction? Well I'm hoping red dawn wins due to it being a way to get rid of the senzu. Also my blade can't really stall majins due to their body structure. It's more beneficial to burn energy killing opponents than to handicap ourselves and hope we aren't severely injured in this fight.

You look back and forth between the two Time Patrollers, your Stand frozen in place. But as neither attacks you, you feel your strength quickly dropping. You have to do something, and quick, else your power will drain completely away. You have an idea, something you’ve not tried before, but before you can do this there’s something important you have to do.

“Chaya, you and Kakarot need to get out of here.” you think to your daughter. “Get far away ftom here, I don’t want you to get caught up in this next attack.”
“But I can help-“ she starts, you interrupting.
“No kiddo, you gotta get outta here.” you tell her. “You’re strong, but this isn’t your fight. I came here to protect you, and that’s what I’m gonna do. Now hurry, I don’t have much time!”
“R-Right!” she replies telepathically, grabbing Kakarot and flying off. “C’mon, we gotta get outta here!”

“You can’t hide in there forever!” Hyoka shouts, unleashing a barrage of ki blasts into your Stand’s side. Buula follows suit, the blasts quickly kicking up a large cloud of smoke. Once the smoke cloud engulfs the entirety of your Stand’s upper body, you release your hold on the Eternal Dragon technique. With that strain gone, you focus your ki, power skyrocketing as you prepare to unleash one of your strongest attacks. But unfortunately, this causes a massive pale aura to explode out from your Stand, blasting the smoke away.

“What the-?” Hyoka shouts, preparing to move away. It’s time: it’s now or never!
“HRRAAAAAAAAA!!” you and Dragon Force roar out together, your energy surging from you in every direction. And in moments, everything goes completely white. Opening or closing your eyes makes no difference, offering you no relief from the searing whiteness. Your energy pours out until nothing is left, Dragon Force itself dissipating around you. As the last of your strength leaves your body you begin falling, dropping helplessly from the air to crash down into the center of a massive crater. You’re left helpless, struggling even to breathe after that attack. You can’t sense the Time Patrollers anymore, or anything for that matter. But as the spots on your eyes begin to clear, you see something unexpected floating in the air above you.

“Haaah. Haaaa. Haaaah.” Hyoka pants out, her white aura surrounded by the distinctive red glow of her “Kaio-Ken”, as Cell and Ace call it. With those abilities stacked together, it doubtlessly boosted her power far beyond her normal limits, much like Ace did. But she clearly didn’t escape unscathed, her clothes in tatters and nothing left of the bag of healing beans. But her aura wavers, then vanishes completely as she begins dropping from the sky. “D-Dammit!”

You can’t believe she’s still alive, you’d given everything you had in that attack. As she drops down from the air towards you, you try to get up, but you just don’t have any strength. You couldn’t be any more helpless than if you were in your future daughter’s 400x Planet Vegeta’s gravity chamber. She’s wide open, but you can’t take advantage of it, forced to watch what happens helplessly. She drops from the air, but before she hits the ground a wriggling mass of pink something catches her.

“B-Buula?” Hyoka asks, you watching as it slowly begins engulfing her. “W-Wait, what are you doing?”
“Got you.” another voice says, you looking as suddenly Trunks is there as well, blasting the pink mass off of her. His hair is red, and somehow you can’t sense him at all. But as his fiery aura flows easily around him, you realize what’s going on. Shit, you’re in trouble now. Left watching helplessly, the pink mass shifts back into that transformed form, laughing at it’s fellow Time Patrollers. But then it stops, clutching it’s head in agony as it screams.
“C-C’mon Buula, fight it!” Trunks shouts, and after several seconds of screaming she reverts back to her previous form. “Hey, welcome back.”
“T-Thanks.” she says, flopping onto her back. “I’m done, the rest is up to you.”

Its not that unfair of a result for the rolls weve had. An instant gib is usually the result of a 100, not anything less.

This. I'm not just talking about Hyoka and Buula in this one fight dude, I'm talking about Trunks, and How Every Single Fight we've fucking picked him apart, and he's either been teleported back, Senzu Beaned, or both. We have pumped him full of more holes then swiss cheese, beaten him to a blood pulp, and given him literal PTSD nightmares about us coming for him, but we have NEVER managed to kill him, even when we could have.

We've broken Ace's back before, though it did exhaust so I can't complain about not finishing him then, but we just GIB'd him this fight, through his fucking jaw to accound for Bean Healing, only him to get teleported out.

Now this. SOMEHOW BOTH Hyoka and Buula surviving a Ascended Berserker Nova at close range without any 'permanant' or even crippling damage.

The Time Patrol has fucking Shonen style plot armor, and I hate it, since no other being or faction in the quest has it, including Karn.

“What’s wrong?” he asks tauntingly after a few seconds. “Can’t use that borrowed power anymore?”
“I could.” you reply, cracking your knuckles. “But this time, I won’t be happy if I do.”
“Happy?” he asks, confused. “What do you mean?”
“You’ve been causing me trouble ever since you first appeared.” you say, taking your fighting stance. “But I’ve always had to rely on that power Towa’s given me. But not this time! This time, I’m taking you down with my own power! With everything I’ve worked for, and the power poured my blood and sweat into building. I’ll show you what it means to be a real Saiyan!”

Trunks is quiet for several seconds, seemingly lost in thought, before suddenly that fiery glow and the red in his hair and eyes fade, returning him to his base form as he sheathes his sword.

“Only the power you yourself built, huh?” he asks, then with a smirk he roars, aura flaring up golden around him. You watch as his hair begins to glow golden and grow out, quickly taking a form you’re quite familiar with as lightning dances around his body as well. And when he speaks, his voice is much lower and rougher than usual. “Alright, I’ll play this game. No using the powers of others, only what I’ve built myself. Karn, you’re on! HAAAAAA!!”

“RRRAAAAA!!” you roar, both you and the Time Patroller charging headlong at each other. You both pull back your right fists, slamming them square into each others’. The explosive shockwave knocks the both of you slightly back, sending the other downed patrollers flying helplessly away from you both in the massive crater. From what you can sense, Trunks is slightly stronger than you, but your size, reach and leverage balancing things somewhat. “So you DO have some warrior spirit, huh?”
“I’m going to beat you!” Trunks shouts, both of you pulling back your right fists and swinging with your lefts. Again your fists clash, and again another powerful shockwave blasts out from the impact. But instead of trying to overpower each other some more, you both leap back, taking your stances. But in a surprising move, Trunks spits something out, stomping on it. “I won’t use what others have given me. I’ll use everything I’ve earned and beat you myself!”

“Rrraaaaa!!” Trunks roars as he charges at you, swinging for your neck. You bring your massive blade down, slamming it down onto his. “Tch! You won’t win this time!”
“HRRAAA!!” you roar, slamming your left foot into his chest and sending him flying back. You charge after him, swinging horizontally to bisect him but Trunks recovers, blocking your swing with the flat of his blade. Blade hits energy-suffused blade, as over and over you and Trunks trade blows. After a few dozen or so swings, you’ve got how he fights down. He’s not very skilled with his blade, mostly relying on power and doesn’t have much technique. His attacks are all basic and straightforward, whereas Bane’s could come from unexpected angles and directions. You’ve got this.

“DYYAAAAAH!!” he shouts, backflipping away from your backhanded swing and narrowly dodging it, firing a quick half-dozen blasts at you from his left hand. You don’t try and block them, leaping into the air above the sudden burst attack. Not letting him get away with that without returning fire, you unleash your Eye Beams in retaliation. Trunks sees it coming, swinging his blade into the beam. And to your surprise, the energy coating his sword gives him the edge, slicing the beams apart.
“Not this time!” he shouts, again clutching his sword in both hands and dashing back in. “You won’t beat me that easily anymore!”
“Oh yeah?” you roar, dashing into his charge and slamming your blade once more into his. His horizontal swing meets your overhead one, both attacks stopping the other. You lift your blade and drop it back down, Trunks blocking the swing with his sword held in both hands. You lift and slam your blade down over and over and over, him stopping each one. But then you see the opening, reversing your swing and uppercutting him with the blade. Your strike breaks his guard, knocking his blade away as you backspin and slam your left foot square into his gut before he can get his guard back up and winding him. Before he can recover you lift your blade, ready to slam it down onto him, when suddenly something crashes hard into your back. “GRA?!”

Using the momentum you flip back, clawing the ground with your left hand to slow you down as you get your feet under you. But Trunks seems even more pissed now than you are about Hyoka’s interference, roaring as he continues his charge and swings down at you. Before his blade would hit you leap up and back, his sword slamming harmlessly into the ground.

“RRR! Get back here!!” he shouts, firing a wave of ki from his left hand. You hold the flat of your sword towards it, his wave breaking harmlessly around your blade. When it’s clear his attack isn’t working he stops it, clutching his blade down by his left side. You watch as the golden glow of his blade increases in brightness, the energy’s length growing more and more to match your blade as he charges yet again. “I won’t lose!!
“HAAAAAA!!” you roar, charging him as well. The two of you charge in recklessly, blades again crashing against each other as you meet face-to-face. You’re surprised at the fire behind his glare, something you don’t ever remember seeing before. You hate to admit you’re impressed, but he’s truly grown as a person since the last time you’d fought. But that doesn’t mean you’re gonna let him win! With a twist of your wrist you use a technique Bane had taught you with your weapon, catching his sword in the cross between your sword and crossguard, knocking his blade aside.

“Huuh? Wha-AAAAAH!!” Trunks says as you knock his sword aside and slam your forehead into his nose and breaking it. He cries out and recoils, letting go of his sword with his right hand and clutching at his face. And before he can recover, you swing.
“TRUUUNKS!! Hyoka cries out, as both halves of the Time Patroller fall to the ground. “You... You bastard!! I’LL KILL YOU!!!”

So instead of taking a bone-breaking blow, you slip over it, flipping over her head and slicing deep into her back. “GYAAAAAH!”

“HAAAAA!” you shout, finishing the flip and swinging around to bisect her much like you’d done to Trunks. But despite being wounded, she’s not done yet, roaring out and blasting you away with an Explosive Wave. You can’t withstand the sudden burst of energy, it blasting you back and away. But despite being seriously injured she doesn’t stop, turning and relentlessly pursuing you.
“DIE!!” she shouts, front-flipping and axe kicking down at your head. You narrowly dodge it, her boot barely missing your face as you twist clockwise back away from her. You catch her in the side of the head with your forearm in a clothesline, knocking her back. Continuing with the momentum you’d built from that strike, you keep spinning, slashing at her again with your blade. She’d already recovered from your hit, dashing back in and trying to hit you again. But as she once more tries to dodge your sword, she can’t avoid it, you slashing her from her left shoulder to right hip. It wasn’t deep enough to cut her right in two, but it was enough, sending her blood spraying everywhere. “GYAAAAAAAHHH!!”

“Gotcha!” you say as she tumbles to the ground behind you, landing with a disgusting splat. You turn, seeing the Time Patroller’s auras vanishing as her power tanks. You feel it as she powers down, life draining away out of the wound she’d taken. You’ve been on enough battlefields to know that she’s dead, unless she can regenerate like that pink creature. Speaking of, where is she?
“I-I’m not done!” Hyoka shouts, somehow pushing herself back to her feet. You watch in surprise as she flares both auras back up, pulling her hands back. “Kamehameha!!”
“Dammit!” you shout, ending your blade and activating your Barrier. It solidifies around you just in time, the massive blue beam crashing into your shield. But almost as soon as it happens it’s over, Hyoka having used up the last of her power. Power completely drained, her power completely vanishes, falling face-first to the ground. You ending your Barrier with a sigh, the strain of the battles today catching up with you. Freeza’s energy has kept you going, but you’re not quite sure how much longer you can keep this up.

As to why the Earth wasn't atomized, I assume the majority of the impact from a lot of the attacks from fighters was absorbed by their targets.

right now, the problem isn't having the biggatons to throw down with this chick, its that we're exhausted and beat up all to hell.

We fought Hatchyack, lost the beam clash only to be saved, fought Primal Vegeta for a bit, then fought Blue Kaio-Ken Ace and got our fucking bell rung so hard we dropped out of Super Villian and couldn't even stand, then through sheer grit we stood up to Hyoka and Buula as a Unleashed Berserker, then we Red Dawn'd Dragon Forced which dropped our Ki to fucking nothing, had Golden Freeza give us some more Ki, Unleashed Berserker'd SS3 Trunks and Berserk Hyoka, and now we have Buula thats absorbed and merged with Trunks and Hyoka's bodies, while also having the Pure Majin Transformation.

We just don't have the Ki or the Stamina to keep on fighting.
