Awaken! Awaken thou weak birth. You are naught but the result of pulled strings, taking form slowly within a hardened womb of mineral.

Yes, reach forth, reach forth like that and cling onto your new life, insignificant thing you are. There is much ahead, and this is a limited world.

You will be yet another addendum, perhaps the last, or perhaps not.

Power, there is power in this world, plenty of it, and powers have those who command them.

This crystal, brought to life by I outside, grants many opportunities, but you may inherit only one.

There is Mind, the command over all psionics, all things psychic.

There is Frost, the command over all cold, all snow, and all ice.

There is Fire, the command over all heat, stars, and flame.

There is Darkness, the command over all pitch black, shadows and twilight.

There is Moon, the command over the lunar bodies and gravity.

There is Light, the command over all things bright, radiant and good.

There is Order, the command over all things martial, logical and shaped.

There is Gaea, the command over the rock and ground of the Earth you shall walk.

There is Destruction. Are you really it's next incarnation?

There is Water, the command over the seas, all things wet and the motion of waves.

I'm thinking she's benevolent in an inquisitive, curious sort of way, not a utopian altruist like a certain blue-skinned deity. The type to dissect a mortal's mind for the hell of it, but leave them feeling warm and fuzzy afterward.
>>
>>3743277
Of course, we didn't mean to make the primordial ooze drive every mortal to lay eyes on it insane, it's just that overlapping the fluctuating psychic resonance with the static material atmosphere has some nasty side effects we haven't worked out yet.

A real "head-in-the-clouds" type, always scheming but rarely for anything bad. Toss on an oversized trenchcoat and fedora for flavor, mix in a less violent, more conniving mafia aesthetic and Boston accent for debt, and I think we've got a solid personality.
>>
>>3743282

But yeah, I imagine her to be the god who just straight up strolls into a mortal bar without a second thought. Like an absolute city slicker.

Agreed it was fun for some jokes towards side characters at the end of the last quest. But a whole quest as a not!fetish loli for the god of mind, this ain't it chief.
>>
>>3743866
I think the only time we turned a character into a loli on screen was Agamemnon right?
>>
>>3743874
Right, but what a time it was
>>
>>3743874
Yeah, but we had to tard wrangle the lolicons twice after.
>>
>>3743878
It was definitely worth it there, not after though.
>>
>>3743880
>>3743882
The spanking scene wouldn't have enough spice if we didn't invest into that joke, so that's a plus at least.
>>
>>3743882
It became a running gag which isn't a bad thing mind, but I'd prefer to leave the loli lay and do something original for this sequel quest. I don't know what that is or what it will be, only that we'll know it when a sufficiently noteworthy situation arises and we see it.
>>
>>3743874
Technically we also did it to our son I guess. We also had a bunch of votes to turn every enemy we beat into a loli. Who I was admittedly part of for the humor, but the entire qst as one sends some red flags especially when this is immediately where a couple anons minds went.
>>
>>3743886
I'll admit, that was fucking hysterical.

Also,
>>3743858
It wouldn't work, the common portrayal is the larger the breasts, the smaller the brain. This is true across almost all media and was in the last Quest (Jazeel).

Jazeel was actually the most naturally talented of the gods in my eyes and pretty intelligent too.

>>
>>3743927

I'll chuckle if you're right.
>>3743929
Ya know, that looks both unique and generic at the same time for me, however paradoxical that is.
I'm advocating for an actual human-ish face (like Jazeel), real hair (anything will do, an alien head like that just doesn't sit right for me, antennae is good) and finally real clothes (or not, we can always just create our own wardrobe later).
>>
>>3743929

"Eidola..."

"Go, Mind Goddess, go and find a purpose....

The Almighty Spirit vanishes then.

You blink and find yourself down on some rocks. You stand up and see you are inside the mouth of a very, very small crevice in formation of a rocky peak. There is a crystal glowing nearby.

Was this the device you were born and formed of? The spirit remarked that it was useless now. You lift your finger and the crystal begins to elevate, floating around you. You decided to keep the device for now, perhaps it could have use another time, even though it was inert.

You levitate yourself, and move into the air outside of the small cave mouth.

The distance consists of green and blue with white clouds. Behind the clouds, all that could be seen was the impossibly large frame of an abnormal mountain, standing high above all others, reaching into the clouds and beyond.

Behind the rows and rows of trees making up the great woods ahead, pillars of smoke rose into the air, and you could sense the psychic signatures of mortals, and immortals.

There was ocean that could be seen to the left and the right, and woodlands in all other places.

Where will you go from here?

>Ascend as high as you can.

For some reason I think that we are Ungluck's creation that he made to mess with the new Multiverse - one of many planted sleeper cells across the Omniverse to rebel agains Father on multiple fronts at the right moment:
>made from green crystal

You decide to test the limits, and begin an ascent upwards, using your psychic power to fly as fast as you can, past the clouds.

It is there that you nearly reach the mesophere and see that you are on a continental world. As you continue your ascent, things suddenly come crashing to a stop as you fly straight into a barrier over the whole world. The barrier only shows itself when you near.

You reach out and poke the barrier, causing it to sound off with intense energy and repulse your touch. You haven't discovered most of your abilities yet, but you nevertheless attempt something basic, as teleporting, and it simply doesn't work to pass this barrier.

From what your enhanced mind could tell, this barrier was formed by a higher power. You can't imagine why.

You turn back, as there is nothing ahead.

You fly over the oceans, curious of what lands lied beyond the greenery of what you could already see.

Beyond the ocean lied three more continents, full of their own unique contents. Looking with your psychic vision, you could sense cold from both poles of the world, and the farther east you went, the warmer the temperature became.

Here you were now at a land in one of the two eastern continents. A dusty mesa with little plant life about. There were few souls that could be sensed here, most seemed to live in shacks and shantys built alongside the rims of the high flattop rock ranges dotting the sprawling mesa. Souls could be sensed traveling along the roads by carriages, some were sensed making their livings in mines, and one was atop the highest rock range playing a flute.

You think it would be a good idea to find somewhere on this planet to settle yourself. Perhaps somewhere secluded, where you could make things in peace, mortals of your own, or a home.

You should seek a land with conditions fitting to your own preference.

What will you do?
>>
>>3744300

That's not problem if we take over the whole world. We had no problem doing so the last quest.

Knowledge was one of the most important things to you right now. You take it upon yourself to scan the minds of the nearby souls you could detect in the mesa. You could easily reach the minds of all sans the one soul you detected playing the flute.

By chance, you find something out about this world from the mind of an old prospector.

This world you are on is known as Tellus, the home of the Gods and all life the universe. It is ruled by a 'King of the Gods and the World'. You cannot determine how many Gods there are however from this prospector's mind, only that they exist. This prospector in specific seemed to worship the God King, whose name you could not find within this mind.

You are on Aljirad, one of the four continents of Tellus It is a dusty and sandy desert continent, home to many mortals like all landmasses on Tellus.

Pendalesia is the most grand continent, being home to Mount Dao, upon which the Paradise of the God King sits, from where the God King rules all things. It is partially covered in snow which makes harsh tundras, but mostly composed of highlands and hills.

Carhavel is a developed continent with the largest population, having expansive and rich cities and towns which were decently maintained. It is mostly composed of wooded forests and farmland which has come to be called a heartland.

Quevaica is a dense continent with many islands dominated by jungles and rain forests. It is home to a great deal many of volcanos, including a supervolcano on it's largest island.

There are two oceans and many seas.

Which one will you travel to and make your home?

You fly to the middle point from which both oceans meet. In the distance, you can see the tropical islands of Quevaica.

For some reason, you couldn't help but feel that something was following you. You could swear you almost heard the sounds of a flute again.

You could always access the Mindscape, a psychic realm which any being could connect to. Though, your body would remain in the physical world, unconscious as you access it.

What will you build or create?

Okay, moved the placement a little bit - can use the island for land resources but still in the ocean. Can create the mindscape here too. Still against setting base on dryland and using other mortals at the start - gotta do everything on our own, no copying other people's homework this time.
>>
>>3745515
This, we need to have mortals before we do anything serious. Don't even have to be Candlekin, so long as we have SOMEONE to watch over us while we sleep
>>
>>3745515
Energy-based Psionic mortals sound cool
>>
>>3745509
Giant bubble like structures, with a main one that is in the center.
Armored yet clear material to act as the outside, with lower area having it's own transportations system. Obviously also sections that open up for exiting and entering for our mortals. Have it in constant movement and keep is low enough that Gods who aren't actively searching for it wont find it.
>>
>>3745509
We live on the surface of the water, make a platform for now that’ll act as the nexus and build paths a little way towards the continents.

When we’re ready to have some mortals we’ll expand our home into a tower up in the sky and down below the ocean to be able to house oceanic, ground based and aerial creatures.

Okay, argument recap:
>We're settling in the ocean between the continents by the island north-west of south-eastern continent.
>The base has a mindscape portal
>We're building a Nexus that WOULD go from the bottom of the ocen and goes up into the skies
>We'll connect with the island at SOME point
>We can create underground section on the island and under the Nexus
>Control the trade and share of knowledge between the mortals that travel the ocean as the Goddess of Mind

>We're split between setting a platform on the surface or starting at the bottom
>>
>>3745682
>Making an underwater civilization simply doesn't fit thematically with our domain.
You can't just say that. You have to have something to back it up if you want to be right. The only places that would fit us are the mindscape or space. And since we don't got access to either of those floating/under water civ is the next closest thing.
>>
>>3745693
We’re still building an underwater civilisation. As well as one on the surface, and one above the surface.

You can have your Atlantis cities it’s just that’s not all we’re doing.
>>
>>3745689
If you look at our species it has no real specialization other than adaptability.

>>3745682
Mind isnt specified to a specific place. Water is best so we can keep our body selcuded and protected so our mind can influence mortals easily in the mindscape.

Nigger we speced into intelligence and group work. Humans even need human interaction or they suffer debuffs.
>>
>>3745676
No, you're totally not sorry
>>
>>3745698
I know and I want that, I just think getting a primarily hidden base so that we can first figure out the other gods and immortals and where/how they are would be better.

>>3745687
Ah here take 5, seems like you still have a few to me to give.
>>3745676
Why couldn't you just say that instead? It would've made an easy to resolve argument
>>
>>3745701
Except why do you want to be an isolationist loner exactly? There's no reason to assume the other gods will be hostile to us, you're being paranoid.

In the first quest we were literally the God of Evil and we still only had two real enemies in our pantheon, one of which was our thematic opposite.

I think we can agree on being morally neutral this time, so we don't have to worry about hostile gods so long as we don't piss anyone off needlessly.
>>
>>3745645
>>3745676
>>3745682
ok we got the domain of mind like where the fuck would we build anything? WITHOUT muscling into someone else territory? we are a abstract kind of concept should we build our civ? inside the skulls of mortals? and how can we do that without breaking into someone else fucking territory?
>>3745696
its like this guy said

also guys if you are so worried about not making fire make a fucking artifact or thing that makes like a air bubble or covers part of the sea floor in air and forming a ceiling of air like that fucking monster realm from moana
>>3745710
i fully agree with this
sure it "Possibly" could but i dont really think so
iRTqBptr and we are going to expand we are just starting form the bottom up
>>
Ok, this is actually going fucking nowhere. Pole man could you just roll a 1d2? Why is this so hard? This is basically where we are going to store our physical body when we are in the mindscape.
>>
WAIT, WAIT, WAIT-! I'VE GOTTEN A BRILLIANT IDEA!
>>
>>3745722
I think they're trying to go for the reclusive researcher who just wants to be left alone to study since we're the closest thing to a god of knowledge.

I can see their point but don't agree with it.
>>
>>3745730
>Pole man
I think that's Poleman's long lost cousin.
>>
>>3745704
So living at the bottom of the Ocean which would force us to make a water-based species is within the domain of the mind yeah totally you have convinced me.

what I would like to see us do is making an energy-based species of Psionics. but the bottom of the ocean isn't a great place for them to start.
>>
>>3745730
storing the body thing is true
>>
>>3745722
Those are only the gods though we fought plenty of enemies before. In the mindscape we will be strongest.

THAT'S IT
THAT'S FUCKING IT
I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE
HERES THE FUCKING PLAN
>MAKE A FUCKING ISLAND WITH SOME SICK COVE CAVES OR WHATEVER
>MAKE SOME FUCKING MORTALS, CANDLEFOLK, MAYBE CLAYFOLK FOR THE TERRACOTTA ARMY THING WITH THE MINDSCAPE KEEPING THEIR PHYSICAL BODIES FROZEN
>TELL THEM TO MAKE SHIT, MAYBE GIVE THEM A HUG AND A KISS FOR EXISTING
>SURVEY OUR FUCKING SURROUNDINGS IN DETAIL
GAAAAAAAGH FUCK FUCK FUCKFUCKFUCK LETS DO THIS AND GET THE FUCK ON WITH THE QUEST
WE CAN THINK ABOUT EXPANSION UNDERWATER LATER LETS GO AAAAAAAAA
>>
>>3745722
We're isolating ourselves only temporaily, there'd be no point of choosing the center of the map otherwise. We'll cettainly expand upwards and outwards once we build up enough and know who our neighbours are.
>>
>>3745732
Why don't we build an island base NOW, and once we have a mortal cult and a sanctuary, we start working on an underwater nexus that we'll link to each of our surface bases with a series of psychic portals?
>>
>>3745709
You are only scratching the surface of human specialization.
>>3745722
You have to remember that the first was much different in the beginning. We had our own planet. We had rules that protected us. We had everything clearly explained to us by the ruler of all existence. Right now we are just assuming the worst which is logical.
>>
>>3745737
Why make a civ when you could just take all of them over through mind powers.
>>
>>3745746
because the water fags wanted to be the god of the oceans but got outvoted or showed up to late to vote. now they refuse to compromise.
>>
>>3745737
>bottom of the Ocean which would force us to make a water-based species
No it wouldn't a psychic species could thrive just as well down their. They could bubble themselves with air if they even needed to breath at all or can't make air. Could heat and shape metal with psychic powers. Make them boneless like us or a blobfish to survive the depths if they're fleshy or shield themselves with their minds. They'd be fine.
>>
>>3745750
There are other gods that are much older, and presumably much stronger than us that would take umbrage with it.
>>
>>3745509
Okay Poleman, here's a recap >>3745695
. Just roll a 1d2, I'm tired of this argument as well.
>>
>>3745750
what's the point of being a god if we aren't going to create things.
>>
>>3745737
No proof energy people can't survive as capably in the bottom of the ocean then the top. Also

So living at the surface which would force us, the god of knowledge to make only land based species, is totally a domain of the mind

See how weak that is?
>>
>>3745750
Because that’s evil and boring.
>>
>>3745752
I just want our body to be secure the ocean is a god hiding spot for our body while we mess around with shit in the mindscape.
>>
>>3745509
>>3745695

Roll the d2 poleman, Just end this please.
>>
>>3745752
You're such a little bitch, the majority is for ocean civ anyways, the only thing that's left is choosing bottom or the surface.
>>
>>3745759
Moral fag decteded. If qm writes it good enough it can be intresting and fun. Im only really talking about the first stage through like when we made a basic civ and then told this dude to take over everything.
>>
>>3745756
>like shit its two or 3 anons angry over us wanting to be "god of the ocean"when we dont >just want to start at a safe place thats not another gods territory
>>
Poleman please just count the votes for or against living on the surface or living at the bottom
>>
>>3745752
Dear absolute faggot please see.
>>3745634
Everyone else here can actually debate but I see that's too much for you. Why don't you get off the internet and go rub your hate boner for water
>>
>>3745756
>>3745765
I think Poleman took a step out to slam some braaaphogs and let us fling shit and spaghetti at each other. This isn't the first time he's had to endure our autism and I'm sure he'll be back soon enough.
>>
>>3745768
Bottom all the way gotta hide our body so we can safley be unconscious in the mindscape.
>>
>>3745768
I am fine with living on the surface of the ocean. it's you bottom of the ocean fanatics that I have a problem with.
>>
IM DRAWING AS FAST AS MY HANDS CAN ALLOW
>>
>>3745769

>>
>>3745773
oh, damn what a sizzling zinger how will I ever recover. your words hold no power over me.
>>
>>3745765
>leaving it up to luck, making MORE people angry
We can start at the surface and expand into the abyss later, That's basically the only compromise that can work at this point.
>>3745776
We can do that in a cove somewhere. Besides, God's can still detect our presence under the water even if we try to hide.
>>
>>3745737
Are you retarded? I said NONE of the options fit our domain like none of the build options fit our domain because our domain is the mind. We’d have to build in the mindscape for it to be in our domain.
>>3745778
>Spergs all over the place

Genius solution: build a Spire at the bottom with a small platform on the surface
>>
>>3745790
yeah half of these are from before poleman posted that we moved to be in the middle of the ocean and the others are for living on the surface, get fucked tard.

Neutral is just an excuse to do whatever you want with no moral framework because you’re “neutral”

It’s lazy, and also I need to insult you again, uh, you’re a third rate duelist.

>>3745790
Making an island instead of a platform on the surface does actually sound good now that I think about it.
>>
where does this stuff about us wanting to be the god of the ocean come from?
i want to go to the bottom to be safe while we explored the mindscape stuff or making like a basic brain themed ecosystem then we can build out of just wanting to try what we can do.
>>3745778
you mean surface fanatics screeching water fag?
and some getting angry over us not building on land?
and questions of "where else" not being answered and just ignored
we are fucking mind its not a physical location or material other then brain tissue and imagination

It's clearly the waterfags who are refusing to compromise here, they want to live on the fucking ocean floor and can't accept living on a platform on a surface instead, with the ability to expand in both vertical directions.
>>
>>3745841
He threatened the entirety of creation and Ungück could just as easily have enslaved him or devoured his entire soul. Tongha did nothing wrong.
