Last time, you had a meeting between you and Lazarus, Titania, Hagëndorff and Parsifal, and started the negotiations. Titania wanted a mutual defense pact between the three great nations, but Hagëndorff refused, and wanted an alliance between the high elves and his empire instead, explaining that the glory of the elves was long gone and that they should accept that they'll never be great again.

That when you decided to use this opportunity to go along with Titania's wishes and sign a mutual defense pact with her. This probably annoyed Hagëndorff, even if he didn't show it, but now you have a powerful ally and your friendship with Titania became even greater.

After this, either because of the tensions or out of genuine concern, it was decided that any trade deal between Hagëndorff's Empire and the Drack Empire was to be stopped, so new, more advantageous ones can be negotiated once the war is over. But you still commissioned 120 Royal Paladins from Parsifal to protect the Cathedral once it's finished.

When the meeting was over, you and Lazarus had a private discussion with Hagëndorff about his war with the Black Moon and you told him of your plan to help him. He immediately rejected you, stating that it was an obvious trap, and when you tried to explain he stopped you and lectured you before leaving.

Obviously, Lazarus was furious, but you gently calmed him, and after a nice dinner together you went for a bath before going to bed for lot of loving sex.

On the to-do-list is
1. Have a few kids (First on will be named Orelliel)
2. seduce waifus(female) and have kids with them (need still work on Irene,Aleanor,Ellisa )

You are in the void, but tonight you want to be here, you follow the wind and enter the Realm of Dreams. You exit the forest and start climbing the mountain, and once you are in the temple you go for the promontory. Your guardians are here with Metraton, Luna and Gefian in their animal form, looking at the two fires of soul, yours a white bonfire, your child a black one, the size of a campfire. Your guardians are the first to notice you coming in and immediately go for you, and gladly give them headpats.

>"Yes, I had the opportunity to see him a couple of time everytime he came to the Eternal City. He's fair in rule, but see the prosperity of his empire above all, if he feels that he's at a disadvantage he'll do anything to change the situation so it can be in his advantage. He's not a bad man per se, but being on his side is the smartest thing to do if you don't want to be crushed like an insect." Luna explains.

You smile at the elven goddess and approach her.

You start petting her head, and the white owl start purring like a cat, she's really enjoying this.

You thank the three gods for listening to you, and after petting all of them you wake up.

You wake up in your bed, lying on top of Lazarus. You look at the window, the sun is only starting to rise, you still have time before your husband wake up. You let your head rest on his powerful, muscular chest and close your eyes again.

Later.
Lazarus and you wake up, you kiss each other good morning and you take care of his "awakening need" before going to the bathroom to get cleaned. Once it's done you go back to the bedroom, and after a time, Silviana knock at the door, she enters with some maids and they help you and the Dark Lord get dressed before the maids start cleaning while Silviana follow you for breakfast.

The Great Emperor, Hagëndorff the Fair, and his wife Queen Gwendolyn are leaving today. You are with them in the front courtyard and coming from the clouds, Drakkahen, the giant golden dragon, lands noisily.

>"We thank you for being here during the festivities, and hope you enjoyed your stay in the north." you say.

>"And we thank you for your warm welcome, our stay here was most interesting." Queen Gwendolyn replies.

>"Emperor Lazarus, Empress Freya, in spite of our words yesterday, know that I appreciate your frankness and I hope that we will meet again soon." Hagëndorff says.

>"The feeling is mutual. Good day Emperor Hagëndorff, Queen Gwendolyn. May your return to the south be calm and trouble-free." Lazarus tell them.

Witht this, they get on the back of the Dragon and with a mighty roar, he extends his wings and lifts off, gaining altitude with incredible speed and start flying to the south. You sigh, weel, now he's gone but something tells you that you'll see him again soon enough. You and the Dark Lord go back inside, preparing the next part of your schedule.

You wanted to have a meeting with all the nobles and discuss their position. Since all of them are here it's the perfect moment for this. You have servants summon your nobility, and one hour and a half later Lazarus and you are sitting on your thrones, you are wearing your empress dress for good measure.

In front of you, much of the nobility of the north is present. Barons, Viscounts, Jarls, Counts, Marquess, Dukes, all of there here to listen to the words of their sovereigns.

A lot has changed in the last year and i talked already with some of you at the celebrations, there i talked with you about the future and now so everybody can hear it let me repeat it

-You all saw how or at least heard of the impressiv work Sebastian Morebarr did in his collaboration with all the Demi-humans and for his hard work he was rewarded with Loch Arnnach, of cause there are still Westteron and Thoreric that will need a suitable ruler and im sure we will find two families that will be worthy of the responsibility to rule those lands but in the mean time both kingdoms will be ruled by the other kings as i talked with them for the mean time until one of you will become its King or Queen.

-As the next year will be most prosperous for all of as we decided to give you all a little tax cut under the condition that you will reinvestition of your saved money in your lands, as i told some already i willing to show you where the finshed Kings road will run cross-country so you could invest the money in new villages or towns on important intersection or you could invest in your own lands but make it so that the People benefit from it as well, if you build those towns im more then sure you will tremendously benefit when the trade starts to flow. Since i will prioritize the west part of the empire first you might want to start sooner then later with that.

-I know that some of the here present nobles don't really like this way of thinking, as their families earned titles, gold and prestige with great deeds and not trade, but deeds are all nice and good but without the finances or funds to creat new business, one could be a dragonslayer or the mightiest Warrior in the North, but that wouldn`t save him from starvation. So with that reinvestment in your lands even if you don´t like it you will benefit from it not in a week but in the future and you will show us that you can prosper your lands a good talent for a future king.

-One more thing that might have had startled some of you and with that i meant The council of Roses i can assure you all that that was somehing unique and will not repeat itself again, if the circumstances will not be meat again. It was to protect the wife of the nobles that have fallen from grace or to be blunt where traitors that had nothing to do with said traitors since not only a few told me about there problems that they had after the Day of the Drack Empire.

The nobility whisper among themselves, the prospect of becoming ruler of a whole kingdom is very attractive, but you know some of them are probably upset because they won't be able to bribe you or Lazarus into becoming king.

At the mention of taxes cut, a lot of them start smiling, they have been waiting for this since a long time and now that the Empress officially said it they probably think they'll gain a fortune.

There is a visible dissatisfaction at this, not at the investment part as a whole, but more at the prioritization of the west especially, the Dark Lord killed a lot of the western nobility, the eastern nobility probably hoped that it would let them gain more power, but what you just said mean that it'll be more difficult for them than just taking what they can. This feeling need to be nipped in the bud.

Your arguments are sound, they don't have anything to say. Slowly one by one, they accept this decision, and finally, all the nobles approve of this. Satisfied, you call servants and scribes, and the nobility sign the official agreement, promising with their name that they'll work on the betterment of their lands and the empire. You now want to address one last thing.

This explanation is perfectly fine and the nobility understands perfectly. You know that some of them still don't really accept this, but since the are getting a lot of advantages and with Lazarus here they know better than to start arguing.

When everything is dealt with, the nobles bow to you and you let them take their leave. When they are out of the throne room you let out a long sigh. All in all, with you lowering the taxes, and your explanations, you made the nobility happy. It's not what all of them wanted but it's better than nothing, and it'll help them strengthen their current power base and increase it in the future.

You and Lazarus go to the dining room, your friends are already there, waiting for you. Once you start eating they report what happened today at the palace and while they were doing their duties. Everything is going well, your guests are extremely pleased by the comfort of the palace. Once you are finished, your husband leaves with Ruriska to meet his generals, you have some other thing to do yourself, so you kiss him before going on your separate way.

You ask for a meeting with the Dark Elf Matriarch and the Wood Elf Elder. The two leaders come into the throne room and bow to you.

>"Greeting, Empress Freya Drack, Dark Queen of the north." the Matriarch says.

>"You wanted to see us, your majesty ?" the Elder inquire.

>"Indeed. You must know that I had the idea of sending a representative from the wood elves and dark elves to the old forest for Queen Titania's birthday." you tell them.

>"Yes, the representative of my people told me about it. Did you reach an agreement with the Queen of the high elves ?" the Elder asks.

>"I did much more, she completely agree with this, and I officially invite the two of you to join me to celebrate the Legendary Queen Titania's birthday with me in the Eternal City." you reply.

The two leaders stay silent, and then their face light up with surprise, they probably never expected those words to come out of your mouth.

>"Your highness, are you sure, I don't want to sound rude, far from it, but the situation between our people is quite-" the Elder starts.

>"I'm more than aware of the situation, and personally I think it's time you all sit down at a table and talk about it. This will be the perfect opportunity to try and improve the relationship between the elven races." you tell him.

>". . . .Well, I don' t see why we couldn't do it. At best it'll improve our relation and give us an advantage, at worst I'll be able to brag about being the first Dark Elf Matriarch to enter the Eternal City since the War of the Divide to everyone." the Matriarch smiles.

>"I'm wary of this, it seems strange that she decided to talk after all those years just because you two talked about it." the Elder says.

>"I don't want to imply anything, but I believe all of the elven pride had a great impact on creating the tensions after the War of the Divide." you declare.

The Wood Elf Elder doesn't reply, and the Matriarch as a smug look on her face.

>"I suppose that mean you accept my invitation ?" you ask them.

>"Yes, in the name of the wood elves, I'll follow you to the Eternal City for Queen Titania's birthday." the Elder replies.

>"I'm all for it your highness, in the name of the dark elves, I'll follow yo to the Eternal City for Queen Titania's birthday." the Matriarch adds.

Perfect. You tell the two leaders that you'll notify them once the day approach, and thank them for their loyalty.

The next day, some of your guests start leaving, like Prince Parsifal. He and his knights are getting ready to depart in the front courtyard and Lazarus and you are present.

>"You know you could have stayed a little longer if you wished to." you say.

>"It would be with pleasure, but unfortunately I have a lot of duties to attend, and a war to prepare. It was an honor to be your guest. I hope we'll see each other soon." Parsifal replies.

>"Prince, about what we discussed during the festivities, should we "leak" your travelling informations to the assassin ? As you said yourself they are no thread to you, but if something happens, the Great Emperor Hagëndorff can keep a closer eye on our mutual friend." you tell him.

>"Thank you for wanting to help us, but I don't wishes to spill more blood than necessary. The Great Emperor already has eyes on our friend, so this won't make us gain anything more than what we could have later." he declares.

>"So be it. Nonetheless you should be careful, no roads are safe when you have enemies waiting in the dark." Lazarus says.

>"Fighting enemies from the dark is our speciality Emperor Lazarus, but I'll follow your advice and be on the look out. Goodbye, sovereigns of the north." Parsifal nods.

The Grand Paladin put on his helmet and get on his horse, after a minute, him and his men depart for the south. You wonder if they are going to be attacked on the road anyway.

The next day, you worked all day, but now it's time to relax. You wanted to have a private party with your friends, and everything was prepared. You also have a surprise for your husband. You spent some time in the kitchen with Silviana and baked him a nice apple pie, Silviana said that this one was beautiful, but you have to wait until the Dark Lord taste it to know if you succeeded.

You decide to have a calm party. A good quantity of alcohol, normal food, and simple music for a pleasant mood.

Once the evening is here you all gather in a salon of the royal wing of the palace. A group of musicians play a nice background music while servants serve the food, braised chicken, roast pork, sausages, steamed vegetables, fresh fish and seafood, as well as a wide variety of pastries are placed on the table. The servant also brings all kind of alcohol, beer, wine, mead, liquor along with freshly squeezed juices. Comfortable armchairs and fluffy cushions are placed around the table so that you are all in a circle so that everyone can keeps eye contact while sitting.

You all start eating and discussing, Titania and Ellisa seem to enjoy this quiet little break, the elven queen talking of how everyone was too scared to talk to her this summer, and now every person that has as much as a title, as low as it is, try and start discussing. The young witch is talking about her kingdom and how everything is going for the better, as well as her correspondence with the witch covens.
Murata and Lazarus are talking together, the samurai explaining to the Dark Lord how the lords of his homeland are fighting, and what kind of soldiers are used, as well as exposing the similarities and differences with the armies here.
Silviana and Shelur are happily talking together, the greenskin listening to your childhood friend stories. From time to time Shelur grins and Silviana blushes.
Illsevel and Aleanor are discussing about martial prowess, the valkyrie describing her fights in the arena, and Illsevel explaining how she defeated each warrior of her house the become the top warrior.
Gweyr is talking about magic and book with Isabella, the young girls attentively listening to the librarian, amazed by the knowledge she amassed during all those years and her dedication to preserve it.
Irene and Talion are talking about their shared duty of being bodyguard of royalty. Unlike Irene, Talion was never a bodyguard before, she was training to become bodyguard of the ruler of the High Elves since childhood.
Ruriska, Dillon, Emelyne and Adeleine are having a conversation, and it looks like Dillon is explaining something, from time to time the young girls are saying something and Ruriska add a couple of words which make them blush.

You ask Illsevel and Talion to approach, as you have something to tell them.

>"Yes, but I was posing as a noble girl. And I bought new weapons, I was thinking that you could maybe have a look and tell me what you think about it." you explain.

You call a servant and send him to get your weapons. He brings them after a time, and the two elves warriors are attentively inspecting each one of them.

>"So ? What do you think ?" you inquire.

>"Hm, those are nicely done, their design is more 'primitive' than ours but are effective for what they are intended." Talion says.

>"The Blades are balanced, and each one of them as a specific use, like the Broad Flat Sword against an armored opponent." Illsevel adds.

>"Those are some nice weapons, you did well to acquire them. Some will require yo to have a specific training, but they'll prove extremely useful" Talion explains.

They explain how each of the weapons is to be used.
- Seratted Dagger : Cause 5 HP damages from intense bleeding for the duration of the fight.
- Blade Bow : Can fight in close quarter while using the bow. (training required)
- Spikeguard Sword : Roll 1d2 along with combat roll. Cause 8 HP damages bonus if dice = 1.
- Broad Flat Blade : 5 HP damages bonus against armored opponents.

The evening goes very well, everyone is relaxed and eat and drink happily. As the musicians continue to play, you get an idea, Elissa did not have the opportunity to dance during the End-Year Celebration, it's time to rectify that. You get up and walk up to her, you stop in front of her. She looks at you, intrigued, and you extend your hand with a smile.

>"My lady, would you do me the honor of agreeing to dance with me?" you ask her.

>"Oh, but of course your highness, I would love to." she answers with a smile.

She takes your hand, and together you go for the center of the room, everyone look at you as you position yourself with her, the musicians start a new song and you look in each other eyes as you start dancing.

But you don't stop here, when the song is over, you gracefully let Titania go and extend your hand to Silviana and take her into the rhythm, the musicians seems to get it and smoothly go from one song from the other without stopping. One by one you dance with your friends. After Ellisa and Titania, and after making Silviana blushes once the song is over, you dance with Irene, Shelur, Aleanor, Talion and Illsevel, the beautiful warriors a little embarrassed but accepting your hand, and one by one you skillfully

It seems that your enthusiasm has rubbed off on everyone. Dillon's tree childhood friends looked at him, and the boy understood what he had to do and invited each one of them to dance. Emelyne, Adeleine and Isabella are all smiles as the boy lead them into a slow but close and intimate choreography, Isabella even blushed a little as one of the steps made her hug Dillon. The boy finally extended his hand to Ruriska, the dark elf grinned and their dance became more sensual.

Interestingly, Murata asked Gweyr to dance, the Librarian was surprised, she not the kind of person to dance, but she accepted the samurai's hand, and while he may not be used to this country dancing style, he's able to follow the rhythm of the song and Gweyr smile happily.

In the afternoon the dwarf Grand Craftsmaster is preparing to leave with his clansmen. You and your husband are seeing him off in the front courtyard.

The next day.

Everyone is emotional, Dillon's little sisters are crying and wants to stay with their big brother, the boy reassures them and tells them that he has duties that he must fulfill, but promise to write lots of letters and send a lot of gifts. The three girls are hugging their parents with tears in their eyes.

The second day of the week.

You called every members of the Royal Council for the first official gatherings of the council, all the rulers and representatives are present in a room with you and Lazarus. You are seated around a long table, Lazarus and you at the end of the table on comfortable thrones, to your left and right are the rulers, followed by the representatives and the heads of the three big religions of your empire. The generals and advisors are sitting at the other end of the table with servants standing behind them with all the paperwork and reports needed.

The rulers seem happy and impressed. Surely for humans to gain an alliance with an elven race, the high elves especially, is unheard of. You gained a lot support with this move.

One thing QM these ship are far to expensive to be worth building, i mean a Nef cost us 5 resources, 3 finances for 1 ship. For example our university has cost us only 1 ressources and 1 finances, the Opera and Theater has cost us 3 finances 2 resources and the Kings Road has cost us "only" 9 Resources and 3 Agriculture and 4 Finances for which we couldn`t even build 2 Nefs so i would say it should be more like this

>"King Phillip Turean, how many ships would we need to patrol our water and keep them pirate free ? And what kind of numbers are we talking about if we want to defend our Empire from the fleets of Hagëndorff or Tharque ?" you ask.

>"if we want to secure all trade routes and still have enough ships to patrol as we want . . . At least 30 to 40 ships, your highness. About our southern neighbours, I only remember from what some traders said but the imperial war fleet is composed of at least 200 warships." he answers.

>"Hm, that's mean we have to field at least that much ships, or at least enough to make it costly for him to consider an attack by sea. What about the Tharque fleet ?" Lazarus inquires.

>". . . My lord, what I'm going to say is what stories, rumors and incomplete reports tell us, but . . . If I have to put a number I would say that the Tharque fleet has more than 700 warships, maybe more." Turean replies.

The members of the council start muttering and whispering among themselves, such a number is unbelievable, and you have trouble imagining so much ship at sea at the same time.

>"And There is also the rumored Tharque Capital Ship, as big as a castle, with thousands of men as crew, with so much sails it must be magic. I don't want to sound defeatist but it's impossible to catch up with the Tharques." he continues.

>"We'll see about that, for now securing our seas is the top priority. We won't start Ordamark whaling industry until we have a fleet to defend us from pirates at least." you declare.

>"We understand, this is the best course of action your majesty." your mother replies.

>"And about the other addition to the kingdoms, Kiven Agriculture in the plains should be possible, we will decide on what to do in the next few months." you say.

>"Thank you, my queen." Otto Kislev bows.

>"As for the east, building a fort close to your cities in Voyoba is ok as I have other ideas at what will be build at the border." you tell the king.

>"Then I'll wait for the city to be finished and see what your projects are, your highness." Roman Vosko nods.

>"For Nyrkostr, is a port in the Dread Sea really worth it ?" you inquire.

>"It could potentially facilitate transport if we ever settle the north or the east, as it is safer going by sea than by land. Of course we'll listen to the crown if you judge that this addition isn't worth it." the Council of Roses representative explains.

>"We'll study this project and discuss it at a later date. Does anyone have anything to add ?"

>"Then I declare that the meeting end here, the crown thank you for your loyalty, everyone is dismissed."

Everyone leave the room one by one, some discussing together as they walk the corridor, you ask for a moment with Roman Vosko and make sure you are alone.

>"King Roman Vosko, I haven't forgotten about the east, but tell me where most of "my" subjects live ? In the West or East ?" you ask him.

>"In the west of course, it's undeniable. But isn't that' that unfair for all your loyal subject of the east ?" he inquires.

>"Like I said, I haven't forgotten the east, and I have plans for it. But like everything in life it will take time, after all you got your city did you not ? So I will tell you what I have planned for your kingdom. I want to build farms there for meat, so even the peasantry can have it more then once a month. Both Westteron and your kingdom will be the main producer for livestock and meat of our empire." you explain.

>"An interesting plan, it's true that with the vast plains is well suited for raising cow and other livestock. And the wealth it'll bring is also worth mentioning. You have a very enterprising spirit, you make me believe that you could be a merchant instead of a queen." he smiles.
