Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Karn came face-to-face with his youngest half-demon son Koruza’s terror-inducing Stand, Dark Rider. After restraining it and finding Koruza, Karn began to train his boy in controlling the willful Stand. But he also took up his own training, ill-advisedly attempting 400x New Salda’s gravity. The intensity destroyed what remained of Karn’s heart, the stress provoking his body to attain a new form moments before it happened. After awakening, Towa banned Karn from using her gravity chamber to push himself, limiting him to only the levels he’s already trained at. And once fully recovered from Towa using her newly-acquired ability in the ancient, forbidden art of blood magic to rebuild his heart better than before, Towa took him to one of the observation rooms to make sure everything is working properly, and there are no issues. But as we rejoin Karn, your newest transformation seems to have a rather bad side-effect, in the form of blinding primal rage.

“RAAAAAAAA!!” you roar once, dashing straight at the figure behind the see-through wall and slamming your fist into it. Your punch easily tears right through the supposedly-reinforced substance, the blue-skinned woman hiding behind it jumping in shock.
“Karn, wha-!?” she shouts, freezing as she stares into your eyes. You bare your fangs, snarling as your energy gathers into your clenched fist. “Bellona!!”
“HAAAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, filling the room with a massive blast of energy. The entire room is consumed by the blast, dust filling the air after you end the attack. It takes several moments to fade, you pull your arm back through to your side amd eagerly wai to see the results, but instead of a broken corpse you now see TWO opponents. You snarl in frustration, the new foe showing no fear.

“Are you alright?” she asks the blue lady, her shield and armor having blocked the brunt of your attack and saved the other one.
“That was too close.” she says, waving a stick and opening the wall between the two of you. “Hold him off while I tidy this room back up.
“Yes mistress.” she says, stepping through and dropping into a shield-first fighting stance, her massive sword held at the ready. The clear wall seals itself behind her, but you barely notice that “Bring it! C’mon and hit me!”
“GRRRRAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, power flaring up around you. She thinks she can stop YOU?! You’ll crush her!

With a mighty roar you charge headlong at the armored woman, but instead of cowering in fear, she charges headlong at you.

“BRING IT ON!” she shouts, dashing in and trying to bash you with her shield. You try and catch it before it strikes you, but she’s surprising quick. Before you can stop it the metal shield crashes square into your chest with a loud thud. You wheeze out, the strike nearly knocking you from your feet. But after it strikes you full on, you do manage to catch it, her eyes widening in surprise. “What?!”
“RRRRAAAAAA!!” you roar again, lifting her up over your head by the shield and slamming the warrior down on the ground. One, two, three times, with each titanic impact you can hear her wheeze but she doesn’t release it. As you lift her again for a fourth attack, her sword suddenly changes. What was a single large slab of metal is now a bladed whip, and with a flick of her wrist wraps it tight around your throat. Several spikes embed themselves into your neck as it cinches tight, suddenly you can’t breathe!

“Ah ah ah, hands off!” she taunts, kicking you im the side of your head the instant your hands leave her shield. The surprisingly heavy strike knocks you back a step, the warrior flipping back away from you and pulling her weapon free. You feel the blades slicing free from your skin, bur the pain doesn’t matter: you’re gonna kill her!
“Grrr! Gaaah! GRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, power exploding from your body as you get angrier and angrier. Her shield vanishes as she whips her weapon again towards you.
“Don’t you know who I am?” she taunts, whip snapping back and forth towards you over and over. “You might as well give up!”

“Gyrrraaaa!!” you roar in frustration as you’re forced to dodge her weapon as she whips it at you, but instead of backing up you charge in close.
“W-what?” she shouts in surprise, as you close the distance, catching the smaller fighter in your arms. “I-Is that all you’ve got?”

Just because Karn is a weirdo and likes his family more then an average saiyan doesn't mean he's a bleeding heart. He's always relied on them to keep him under control if he goes berserk. If he did and they beat him unconscious, he'd be proud of them for being strong enough to do it. We're also in one of the best spots to just rage and fight, negating the risk of accidentally killing someone, since Towa, Mira and Future Chaya are all substantially stronger then Karn.
The only thing to worry about is Wrath Form doing something stupid and giving us the boost of Legendary Oozaru.

“RRRrrrrrrRRRRAAAA!!” you roar, clenching your fists and rising to your feet, roaring out as you try to keep that power from escaping you. Your strength plummets as your sanity begins returning, you feeling it slipping away like water through your fingers. Dammit, you’re not giving up that easily! You know it’s risky, but you’re not going to be giving up on this new form so easily! Desperately raising your powerlevel does nothing, you have to focus! Shutting your eyes, you block out your emotions as you’d learned from the Guardian and Raven, leaving nothing except for that overwhelming rage. You focus on it, amplifying the wrath more and more until once again you feel familiar strength returning! You feel your body once more bulking up slightly, hair standing on end as even more of that strength begins to pour from you.

“GRRROOOOAAAAAAR!!” you bellow, the shockwaves knocking the smashed fighter and Meloka both away from you. In a flash your wife is in her powerful Super Saiyan 3 form, unaffected by your rising power. But Bellona isn’t so fortunate, the now-two halves of the robotic fighter are sent in two different directions as your power continues to climb. But as you see your wife looking at you in awe, your sanity again comes crashing back. And despite doing your best you simply can’t keep it going anymore, reverting back to normal and dropping down to a knee.

“Karn! Karn, are you okay?” Meloka asks, returning to her base form as she dashes to your side, one hand to your chest and the other on your neck. “What was that?”
“All of his vitals are fine, he’s okay.” you hear Towa’s voice coming from the nearby speaker. Turning your head you see the demon princess open and walk through the clear reinforced wall, walking over yo check on Bellona as she continues talking with you both. “Since you’d already attained your Berserker state, I never imagined you’d unlock this form.”
“So you know what that was?” Meloka asks, as you keep trying to catch your breath. Your entire body feels heavy, almost identical to the sensation you get when reverting from your Oozaru form.
“Of course.” Towa scoffs, Churai appearing and taking Bellona’s parts with her as she again vanishes. “I just hadn’t thought you would ever access it. That is another transformation unique to you Saiyans, known as the Wrath State.”
“Wrath State?” you and Meloka both ask her, Towa smirking.

“Yes, Wrath State.” Towa says, sitting on her floating staff as she explains it. “Essentially, what you did was tap into the power of the Oozaru form with it barely transforming your body. Your durability, strength, and power are all magnified as if you’ve transformed, but that power comes at a cost.”
“The rage, right?” you ask, Towa nodding. “But I’ve got control over the Oozaru state, and even mostly for Berserker, so why does it overwhelm me?”
“Simple. Because you didn’t actually transform.” she says, you raising an eyebrow curiously. She pokes your arm with her staff for emphasis with her next two sentences, continuing. “When a Saiyan transforms, sure their muscles get larger and stronger. But they aren’t the only parts of you that change. Your organs, bones, and even your brain transform as well.”

“My brain?” you ask, Towa lightly rapping her staff on your head as she resumes walking around thr two of you.
“Exactly. Your transformations aren’t only skin-deep, they change your entire body.” Towa informs you both. “When you transform you truly change, all the way down to the cellular level.”
“Huh, so that’s why it’s so difficult to use the Super Saiyan power without transforming.” Meloka says thoughtfully.
“Correct.” Towa says. “Although, you being able to use that power as you have is most impressive Meloka. Only a half-dozen other Super Saiyans have been able to use the full power of the transformation as you have without transforming.”
“Wow.” your wife says, you hugging her.
“Of course, my Meloka’s special.” you say to Towa, then embrace the demon princess as well. “You both are.”

After that incident you turned back to your training, focusing both on improving your own power training with Future Chaya, and helping Koruza gain control of his free-willed Stand, Dark Rider. It takes you three straight weeks, but by the end of it your half-demon son is now in conscious control of his demonic-looking Stand. And before you know it, it’s time to return home.

“Leaving already?” Maza asks disappointedly, everyone gathered for your and Meloka’s departure. “But we didn’t get to train together that much!”
“Next time, kiddo.” you say, taking a knee and ruffling your blue-skinned, half-demon son’s hair. “Next time I come in, we’ll do some training, just the two of us.”
“Really?” he asks excitedly, eyes sparkling. “Do you mean it?”
“Of course. I promise.” you reply, hugging him. But as you do, your other half-demon children looking on. “Well don’t just stand there, c’mere Milha! C’mere Koruza.”
“Daddy!” they both shout, rushing into your arms as well. You hug your children and bid them farewell, rising back up to face Towa.

“I won’t fail.” she says, you looking at your wife questioningly. But neither her nor Towa explain, you shrugging it off.
“Good luck.” Towa says, one moment you and your wife are in her realm, and the next you’re both back on New Salda.

“So, what training will you be doing?” Meloka asks you, you remembering that’s what you’d been about to do before going to Towa’s realm.

“I’ll be working on this.” you say, focusing your mind and body for a couple seconds until you feel it. New Salda’s energy begins flowing into you. Your strength begins expanding, you taking a deep breath then sighing out as the mixed energies of the planet begin flowing into you. “I’m not the only one who needs training.”
“Well, you two have fun.” Meloka says jokingly, flying off as the two of you walk down the ramp and leave your ship. “Don’t cause another eruption, got it?”
“C’mon, that was one time.” you say as Meloka flies away, you grumbling under your breath a moment before trying to mentally communicate with the planet’s avatar. “Hey, are you there?”
“I am always here.” you hear, both in your mind and the rumbling in the ground beneath your feet. “You seem, different.”
“Well, I’ve been away for three weeks.” you reply back, catching one of Vox’s cameras out of the corner of your eye. “We need to talk, somewhere without prying eyes. Raven, can you help me?”

“Of course.” she replies telepathically, one of her portals opening up right before you. You step through, instead of leading you to Raven you step into the lair of New Salda’s avatar. Magma bubbles as you step through onto the dark, solid rock, New Salda’s giant avatar rising up out of the liquid rock. “Just let me know when you’re finished.”
“Thanks Raven.” you tell her telepathically, the planet’s heat washing over your body. But with your body shrouded in the planet’s energy, you aren’t instantly cooked alive.
“Greetings, champion.” New Salda booms, your body thrumming at the sound of the avatar’s voice. “It has been some time.”
“That it has.” you say, the heat becoming unbearable. Focusing your ki, you activate your Energy Body technique, the temperature inside your shield dropping instantly. “Have you recovered from that Tree of Might draining you?”
“Of course.” New Salda’s voice booms out. “Once it was dead, I was able to begin pulling my power back from it’s corpse. And once it has finished decomposing, I shall regain my remaining power.”

“That’s good to hear.” you say, but before you can say anything else New Salda continues.
“You said we need to talk.” it says, dropping down to a knee to have it’s face more level with your own. “And I can feel your worry. What is wrong, my champion?”
“We’ve only got one year.” you say, sighing out. “Only one full year until we’re attacked again.”
“AGAIN!?!!” New Salda roars, the magma in the chamber violently erupting around it. This isn’t good.

“I will bury them, and eat their bones!” New Salda booms, the entire planet shaking in rage.
“Hold on, calm down!” you shout, voice bellowing out as you also shout through your telepathic link. You spend several minutes trying to calm and soothe the planet’s avatar, it’s rage like a force of nature. But you succeed, finally calming the planet enough to continue talking. “I have seen the threat headed our way, and I can’t beat it. Not alone. We’re all training, and preparing for what’s coming. But we’ll need your help.”
“I will crush these invaders.” New Salda replies, the stones beneath your feet shifting and quickly forming into two massive stone golems. You watch in surprise as she then reaches out, a drop of her own molten energy seeping into each of them. Your jaw drops as suddenly they explode with power, both rising up to their feet. You see New Salda’s familiar green glow coming from their eyes, you sensing tremendous power coming from each of them. “Before, I wasn’t ready, and the Guardian kept me restrained. But not this time.”

“Amazing.” you say, observing the two golems. You can only guess, but comparing to your current power, you’d say each of them would have a powerlevel reading somewhere around 5-7 million. “How many of these can you make?”
“Enough.” New Salda says, leaning closer to you. “But you said you are not strong enough? Is my power I give you not enough?”
“From what I’ve seen, no.” you say honestly, looking at your clenched fist. Focusing for a moment you transform into your Berserker form, rivaling her new golems’ size. “Even like this, I can’t stop it.”
“So you need more power?” New Salda asks, pressing her large hand onto the golems. You feel the energy flowing from the two golems back into the planet, the now-lifeless rocks collapsing into shapeless piles. “Very well.”
“Wait, what?” you say, as suddenly New Salda reaches down to you. You have to fight every instinct in your body screaming at you that death comes, her hand pressing down onto you before your body goes into her hand.

The heat and pressure are overwhelming, your Energy Body shattering around you in seconds. But once it goes down, you feel not only the heat, but New Salda’s power begin flowing into you. You try and scream, but engulfed by it’s hand as you are you can’t even breathe, much less scream, and your entire body feels like it’s going to explode. Yet more and more power continues to pour into you, muscles tearing as your body strains to withstand the planet’s full might.

“GRRAAAAA!!!” you finally roar, the hand exploding around you. But as you break free, finally able to see again, your hands look different. You look as if you’re covered in magma, skin seeming to be almost liquid.

“This is my power.” New Salda’s avatar says, your mouth moving on it’s own. You freeze in surprise, turning to New Salda’s avatar to see that it’s now much like the golems, the fire gone out of it. “That is only a shell. This is my true body, my true strength. If your power alone isn’t enough, our strength fully combined can.”
“This is amazing.” you say, the entire planet’s power coursing through you. The strain is still there, but New Salda seems to somehow be suppressing it, and keeping the sensation from distracting you. This strength is more than you’ve ever felt. But power like this doesn’t come free, there has to be a catch.

“Yes.” New Salda telepathically tells you. “While fully combined like this, if you were to die, I would cease to exist as well. This displeases you?”
“Well, yes.” you reply honestly. “If my death would ensure my people would live, I would have no regrets. But if you die, New Salda will turn out just like Planet Vegeta, and my people will once more be without a home.”
“Then we must not lose.” New Salda says. “But, while like this I cannot do much else. You must choose how I will help you in this coming battle, my champion. Fifty of my warriors that will follow your orders, each several times stronger than the two you just saw, or my full power directly under your control. You must choose.”

“This power is incredible.” you say, feeling stronger than ever. “But this is just too risky. If we go down, the whole planet is doomed.”
“I see. Very well.” New Salda says, the incredible power suddenly beginning to bleed down out of your body and back into the ground. It takes nearly a minute for New Salda’s full power to bleed away from you. By the time it’s over, you’re left panting in pain and exhaustion on the ground. Your entire body feels as if it’s been thrown into a blender and then burned, leaving you lying helpless on the ground. “My champion? Are you alright?”

“Ye-Yeah, just give me a minute.” you say, it actually taking you several before you can get shakily back to your feet. “That was a lot more than I was ready for. It’s good to know if all else fails, we can fight like that, but I’d rather not rely on it.”
“I understand.” New Salda says, already having re-formed back into it’s massive humanoid form. “So you wish to lead my children into battle then?”
“Wait, children?” you ask, confused. “What do you mean?”
“Children is the word, is in not?” New Salda asks you. “For those you spawn, that are not you?”
“Well, yes, but...” you say, then realize explaining it would be pointless. “Never mind, it doesn’t matter. Shall we get started?”

You spend at least a half-hour controlling one of New Salda’s ‘children’, learning the volcanic being’s capabilities. They have the same basic techniques as Saiyans, able to fly and use the ki flowing through them, but they all have a surprising ability you couldn’t forsee: through your telepathic link in the Champion form, these New Salda warriors know all of your abilities! Your fighting styles, energy techniques, everything. And while they can’t copy your transformations, each one is a dangerous force to be reckoned with. But all too soon you need to return to your ship to sleep, focusing on Meloka’s ki and using Instant Transmission to return to her side. You find her in the shower already, realizing that New Salda combining fully with you burnt your clothes to a crisp, leaving you bare. You both bathe, washing the work from your bodies then heading off to bed together. When you arrive in your bedroom the kids are all already down, Chaya conspicuously absent. But with a quick bit of focus, you feel her, Megumin, and Tanya’s ki all coming from Tanya’s room. Satisfied she’s here, you and Meloka settle in bed, sleeping the night away.

For several moments you debate on whether or not to just ignore what they’re doing, or use Instant Transmission to go see for yourself before you remember something. Or, rather, someone. You’ve had Darth Bane tailing Tanya since her first day here, he’ll know what’s going on. So with a small effort of will you reach into the corner of your mind imprinted with the memories of the long-dead Sith lord, Darth Bane appearing over you.

“So, you want a status update on what your daughter and the two outworlders are doing, correct?” he says, frowning disapprovingly. “Unfortunately, I can’t tell you what you want to know.”
“Wait, what?” you reply telepathically, brows furrowing. “Why the hell not?”
“Because the barrier keeps me out.” Bane replies, waving his hand and conjuring an image. You see a smashed Covenant ship, nose buried. You watch as Chaya, Megumin and Tanya fly to it, the image following the trio as they all make their way inside. Super Saiyan Chaya leads the way, but while keeping her transformed power low the light doesn’t reach far. The image in the screen draws closer to the trio, Tanya stopping and turning to look over her shoulder directly at you both. You freeze in place, feeling her gaze piercing straight through you. Bane’s looking at you with a “Don’t you make a fucking noise” look, you keeping quiet.

“Hey, Tanya, what’s up?” Chaya asks, the soldier’s eyes narrowing a moment before turning, walking deeper in.
“It’s nothing.” she says, the three getting further away. “I thought I saw a bug.”

Several seconds later, once the trio have gotten some distance the screen continues pursuing them, keeping at range until it suddenly stops, the three of them quickly disappearing from your sight. You turn to Bane, curious. He gestures back to the screen, suddenly the room goes from black to black and white, you seeing what appears to be some sort of stone room with an altar in the middle.

“What the hell?” you say, Meloka muttering in her sleep and snuggling closer to you. “What’s that?”
“It seems this “Tanya”, as she calls himself, is very attuned. I have to keep my distance, else my presence will be revealed. And more than that, wherever they’re going to, those ruins are guarded by powerful magic. Despite being dead and gone, that old Guardian’s magic still flows powerfully through it. Whatever’s down there, he deemed it dangerous enough to seal away, forever. So I’m sure they’ll be fine.”

That... does absolutely nothing to comfort you. In fact, it has the opposite effect, you quickly rising out of bed and putting two fingers to your head.

“Mrmm, Karn?” Meloka asks, but you vanish before you can answer. You just hope you’re not too late.

“Karn?” Megumin shouts as you appear before the trio, the mage so surprised by your sudden appearance that she drops her staff.
“Dad?” Chaya asks at the same time. But Tanya reacts differently, the soldier sighting you in and firing a burst of shots as soon as you appear. With only an instant to react you activate your Barrier, it not deflecting her shots in the slightest. You barely have any time left to block, a half-dozen explosive magical bullets slamming into you. Each one packs a punch, and with their combined power it’s enough to knock you on your ass. “Tanya, what the hell? Why’d you shoot my dad?!”
“Wait, what?” she asks, jaw dropping as she sees you stand up. “Oh, shi-!”

“Well, it certainly looks like you’ve been a soldier for years, Tanya.” you reply, dusting yourself off. “Not bad, that was some impressive reaction time.”
“I knew someone was spying on us.” she says, slinging her weapon over her shoulder. “But I didn’t think it was you.”
“You were spying on me?” Chaya asks you, her face a mix of many emotions.
“It wasn’t me, at least not directly.” you say, gesturing to the room around you. “But this place is dangerous.”
“I told you this was a bad idea.” Tanya says to your daughter, who looks almost on the brink of tears.
“I jus-I just wanted to get you a surprise.” Chaya says, sniffing. “You have a dragon, so I thought I’d get you another and they could be friends too. I know big me was lonely until you and Towa made her some brothers and sisters too, so I thought-“
“Wait, who is-?” Tanya begins, but you’re too focused on Chaya, who seems almost about to cry.

“C’mon kiddo, it’s okay.” you say, kneeling and hugging your daughter. “I didn’t want to spoil your surprise, but when I found out it was something this dangerous I couldn’t let the three of you get hurt.”
“So does that mean it’s over?” Megumin asks, the mage having recovered her staff and clutching it close. “Do we have to go back now?”
“Hmmm.” you say, focusing on your senses. Through your ki sense you can’t feel anything, same with your other senses. For all you can tell, this place seems to be a long-abandoned settlement, you wondering who the previous inhabitants were? And what happened to them? Now you’re mildly curious

“Well yeah, that’s why I went lookin’ for it!” Chaya says. “Daddy can control dragons, and we got another one sleeping underground. If we wake it up, then you can have some more help when the next buncha’ bad guys show up!”
“You’re not thinking this through.” you say, sitting on the bed. “You only thought about the good that could happen. But you didn’t stop to consider the other possibilities.”
“Like what?” she asks you, only for Meloka to answer.

You spar with Jotaro’s Star Platinum in your Ascended Berserker form, letting the beast rampage. But with training this way day after day, you soon find yourself taking more and more control. After the first four months of rampaging oit of control, you’re finally learning to control yourself. You can choose what to attack, but at first your control is noticeable shaky. But as months pass, you find yourself becoming more and more in control. By the ninth month you’ve done it, and are able to fully control your actions while in your Ascended Berserker form.

But this exceptional progress isn’t solely due to exposure to that form, your daily training with Raven also played a major part. First, saved. And not as good as Meloka’s, who’s popularity hasn’t waned much with her dedicated fans and regular vid releases. Chaya’s merch is doing better than either of you, as the Dreadzone Champion currently in the spotlight. After killing Trigon, Karn has faded from popularity since he hasn’t really fought anything since(none of the cameras caught the Slug/Tree of Might fight).
And that depends, the audiences will only care when Karn comes back into prominence. And yes, Vox knows to have the cameras rolling for what’s coming. After all, he’s helping pay for Vegeta’s plan.

We need to make reality tv show, imagine Karn hosting the bastard love child of the Bachelor and Survivor, where we got a bunch of Saiyan gals to compete in violent and unorthadox challenges for the favor of one chad(not us) each week the two least favorable potential mates have to fight to decide who will be eliminated all culminating in a final climatic love duel followed by the winner claiming thier prize immediately, with or without concent on live television.
