Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After witnessing Chilli’s out-of-body experience, Raven thankfully returning him to his body, Karn discovered Chaya had once again brought one of her opponents home. This time it was a soldier by the name of Tanya, shrouded by a mysterious power that Darth Bane informs you is not of the mortal realm. After settling the Joestars and Polnareff up in a spare room Karn goes to sleep Towa contacting him in his dreams and warning of an imminent threat by the name Hatchiyak headed for New Salda. She informs Karn that in one year that monster will arrive, ready to destroy the entire Saiyan race. With new motivation Karn dives back into training, working on mastering both Berserker forms with help from Jotaro and his Star Platinum as a training partner. After breakfast Karn again goes to Super Ki Blade training with the Sith spectre in the woods, and afterwards visits with the scientists. The old head of R&D passed on, leaving Daiko in charge as well as a small seamless box with a riddle to open it. You’d kept the box, leaving it on your ship by Bane’s holocron. As we rejoin Karn, Caulifla has just run into the room, tears pouring down her face as she holds up a golden ball.

“Daddy, it’s Triumph. H-He won’t wake up!” she says through her tears. “Help him, please!”
“Let me see.” you say, conjuring Dragon Force around your own right arm and having it gingerly lift the dormant Stand. Caulifla winces as your Stand’s claws slightly pierce Triumph, but her Stand still doesn’t react. You have no idea what is going on with it, but you know someone who would. “I don’t know, but I know someone who will. C’mon, let’s find Joseph, he’ll let you know what’s going on.”
“O-Okay.” she says with a sniffle, you giving Triumph back before lifting your daughter and carrying her from the room. She still holds onto Triumph’s ball form, looking for all the world like any other kid holding a stuffed animal, as you try to focus and find Joseph’s ki. Which, after a few seconds of searching, you realize is impossible. With his powerlevel being as low as it is, there’s no way you’ll find him like that.

“Hey, Joseph, can you hear me?” you think out to the old man, getting a response after a few moments.
“Ah, Karn.” he replies. “Mornin’. What’s going on?”
“It’s Caulifla.” you tell him worriedly. “Or rather, her Stand. It’s not responding to her at all, and won’t leave it’s ball form.”
“Hmmm, this is troubling.” Joseph tells you. “I’m near the palace, I’ll meet you there and take a look.”
“Thanks Joseph.” you reply, ending the communication then smiling at Caulifla as you walk from the ship. “Good news, Joseph will figure out what’s going on with Triumph.”
“R-Really?” she asks with a sniffle. “He will?”
“He will.” you say with a smile, and then once outside, “Hang on, here we go.”

You lift off from the ground outside your ship, dashing off through the air to Vegeta’s palace. When you arrive you see Joseph outside with Jotaro and Polnareff, the old man waving you down to him as the guards eyeing him suspiciously. You touch down before the three of them, setting Caulifla on the ground before you.

“Hey kid, how’s it going?” Polnareff asks her with a wave.
“He’s still not opened up.” she says with a frown, still holding Triumph to her. Joseph takes a knee and leans in, “hrmm”ing as he looks at it.
“Do you mind if I use Hermit Purple and see what’s going on?” Joseph asks, the purple Stand appearing around his right arm. “My Stand isn’t good for fighting like yours, but I can figure out what’s happening.”
“O-Okay.” she says, holding Triumph out with both hands towards him.
“Alright, now hold still for me.” Joseph says, grabbing her hands in his, holding Triumph up as well as Hermit Purple’s tendrils begin wrapping around it. You watch, Caulifla’s eyes widening in surprise as they wrap around her arms to the elbows as well.

“Hrrmmm...” Joseph mutters, eyes flicking back and forth at something only he can see. Everyone watches on silently for over a minute before Joseph’s eyes widen in surprise. “Oooh god!”
“What?” you, Caulifla, and Polnareff all ask at once, as the old man’s Stand quickly vanishes, you noticing several of his Stand’s tendrils seem almost burnt.
“No way. Your Stand...” Joseph says, speaking directly to Caulifla. “Your Stand is the most amazing I’ve ever seen.”
“Really?” she asks, eyes sparkling at the praise. But someone else looks towards him more suspiciously, stepping forward.
“What the hell are you talking about?” Jotaro asks, Joseph turning towards him seriously. “What did you see?”

“Let me explain.” Joseph says to him, then turning back to Caulifla and smiling again. “You already know your Stand is good with fire, but that isn’t the only ability it has.”
“Like yesterday, when it went all ‘Bwwaaa’?” she asks him seriously, Joseph nodding. “What was that?”
“Your Stand, much like your father’s, can transform.” he says. “But something was missing, and now it’s gone dormant.”
“Dormant?” she asks, confused. “So it’s sleeping?”
“Exactly.” he says with a nod. “It’s sleeping now, and stays curled up like that while asleep. Once it recovers it will again open up, but until then will stay all wrapped up.”
“So nothing’s wrong?” Caulifla asks him, Joseph nodding to her. “Yaaaay!”
“Your Stand is just fine.” he says, letting go as Chaya begins running around happily, still holding her curled-up Stand. Joseph stands back up with a grunt, turning to you and tapping his head as Caulifla happily dances around. “We need to talk. But not out loud.”

“What’s wrong?” you ask him telepathically, Joseph walking over to you and placing a hand on your shoulder.
“I’m not sure how to let her know about this, since she’s so young.” Joseph replies telepathically. “So I’ll let you know what I found, and decide.”
“Decide?” you reply back, confused. “Decide on what?”
“When you should let her know.” he says, Caulifla watching as Polnareff shows off Silver Chariot to her. “That her Stand makes her nearly-immortal.”
“What?” you say, realizing the shock made you say it out-loud before recovering, resuming your telepathy. “What the hell do you mean, immortal?”
“When her Stand is active, and not dormant like it is now, it has another special ability.” he thinks to you. “If she or her Stand were to perish, they will both burn down until nothing but ashes remain. But after some time, she will come back, reborn from her ashes in a glorious blazing inferno.”

Seriously guys, we need to know how long Trimph stays inactive, because when that happens Caulifa can get perma killed, and we need to know how long it takes her revive, or she could end up reviving in the middle of space after the planet she's on gets blown up.

Like I get it, Karns thoughts on this situation is important, but we need info first and foremost.

“She...really?” you ask aloud, unable to concentrate enough to keep your telepathy going. “If she... She...”
“Indeed.” Joseph says with an understanding nod. As a father himself, you know he understand what a relief this is to hear. And then, almost as if he knew your next question, continues. “How long it takes seems to be somehow dependent on her age, but I’m not quite sure how.”
“What do you mean, not sure?” you ask him, Joseph taking a half-step back and waving his arms frantically.
“It’s not like a game where I get a nice spreadsheet to read abilities off of.” he says. “I can only see what her Stand can do. All I know for sure is her ability, From the Ashes, is somehow affected by her age.”

“Her age?” you ask, Joseph nodding as you hold your chin, pondering. It’s a powerful ability, to be sure, but knowing how long she would be gone for is a very important piece of information. But still, if the worst happens to her while her Stand isn’t dormant like it is now, she won’t be gone for good. Speaking of... “Hey, Joseph.”
“Your next line will be, ‘How much longer will her Stand be dormant?” Joseph says.
“How much longer will her Stand be-“ you say, freezing. “What the hell?”
“Heh, just an old trick from my younger days.” Joseph says, turning towards your daughter. “Five, four, three, two-“
“Huh?” Caulifla says, looking from Silver Chariot down to her Stand, it shaking in her arms. Your daughter almost drops it in surprise, setting Triumph down as it rocks back and forth for several moments before stopping, then begins lifting into the air. You all watch as Triumph emerges, cawing defiantly into the sky as it awakens. Caulifla’s eyes tear up, your daughter leaping up and embracing her Stand. “You’re back! I missed you so much, I was so worried!”

“How did you...?” you ask Joseph, the old man chuckling as Polnareff now examines her Stand, Jotaro leaning against the palace wall.
“That ability, if used improperly, will force her Stand back into it’s dormant state, usually around 24 hours or so. But there’s something else I need to tell you about From the Ashes.”
“Okay, what is it?” you ask him, Joseph turning yo you seriously.
“When it activates, bringing your daughter back, it will be back in it’s dormant state. For as long as she was gone, that’s how much longer it will be after reviving her before her Stand awakens again.”

“So once she’s brought back, she’ll still be out of the fight for quite some time.” you say, thinking it over as you watch Polnareff admire Triumph. “Now I get it.”
“Get what?” Joseph asks you, you filling him in on the attempt to steal your daughter, and how close it actually came to succeeding. While you‘re explaining all this, Polnareff has Triumph blast his Silver Chariot with a blast of flame, only for him to surprise her by stopping the flames with only his slender sword. “That’s certainly ominous, but why? She can’t take just take Caulifla’s Stand from her, and the resurrection only works on her. The Phoenix Tears may heal other beings’ injuries, but it can only resurrect her.”

“I wouldn’t be too sure...” you say, worrying. Towa is an intelligent woman, no matter the timeline. If she was after Caulifla’s ability, she would certainly have had or made a way to take your daughter’s Stand. Or worse. But enough dwelling on that, as long as you’re around she’ll never get her hands on your daughter. “Either way, thanks for the help.”
“Of course, of course.” Joseph says. “Always happy to help. You need anything, just let me know.”
“Same to you.” you say, shaking hands with the elderly Stand user. With Caulifla’s Stand issue handled, as well as figuring out even more of what she can do, it’s time to get back into your own training.

Tbh, I kinda feel like we're bruteforcing progress on the Berserker tree, see how we ran into a wall for years trying to become an Ascended Berserker, because we thought it would be the same as becoming an Ascended Saiyan.

I think actual mental discipline is a more effective route to trying to control The Rage of Berserker, then Transforming, and hoping the insane coke'd out space t-rex made of pure MAD we're ridding doesn't buck us off and stomp our shit in.

You quickly share the revelations about Caulifla’s Stand that Joseph had revealed to you with Meloka, telepathically letting her know everything. She’s just as amazed as you are by what her Stand can do, saying she’ll swing by to talk with Joseph about her as soon as she finishes up the training she’s doing. As you watch Caulifla and Polnareff “spar”, your daughter’s Triumph shooting at him with golden fire as Silver Chariot’s quick bladework keeps the flames from touching him. You say your farewells to the group, letting Joseph know Meloka’ll be by to speak with him before lifting up into the air.

“Daddy? Where ya goin’?” Caulifla asks you.
“I’m going to keep training.” you tell her, ruffling her hair before lifting up into the air. “Behave for Joseph and his friends, okay?”
“Oooookaaaay!” she says, both her and her Stand giving you a thumbs up before you take off. But instead if heading right to Raven, you have another stop to make. Taking off in the opposite direction of Raven, you again fly back towards your son Broly and Ubo’s powerlevels. As you approach, you can sense his power isn’t rising and dropping anymore, perhaps he’s too tired to continue? Dropping down as you arrive, you see Broly on his hands and knees, Ubo sitting by him. Much like Raven does, now that you think of it.

“Hey, Broly.” you say, your son raising his head wearily as he hears you. You walk over to him, taking a knee and holding a hand down to him. “C’mon, I have an idea.”
“An idea?” he asks, taking your hand and letting you haul him to his feet.
“Yeah. Maybe we’ve been doing this wrong.” you say, looking over to Ubo. He’s so calm you can almost feel it, you both watching a bird fly down from a nearby tree and perch on his shoulder. “Maybe we’ve been going about trying to master this all wrong.”
“So where are we going?” he asks you, as you both lift back up into the air.
“We’re gonna go see Raven.” you say, leading your tired son to Guardian Island. It isn’t a natural island, as you’d learned during the Siege of New Salda, but a massive, ancient spaceship that crashed here centuries ago. As you arrive, you see Chaya, Chilli, Tatsu, Tomi, and surprisingly Tanya all on the beach, Raven supervising them from the former Guardian’s rock. You drop down by Raven, New Salda’s Guardian opening an eye and looking to you as Chaya continues leading the others through the Su Ma techniques.

“Good morning Karn.” she says, white cloak billowing around her as she levitates a few feet in the air. “What brings you here?”

“We’re here for your help.” you say to her, Raven turning fully to face you with an eyebrow raised. “Of everyone I know, you have the best control over your emotions.” you tell her. “And emotional control is something we both really need to work on, especially with our Ascended form.”
“I see.” she says, smiling ever-so slightly. “This is certainly something I would be well-suited to help you with. Alright, come, sit beside me and cross your legs. Backs straight now, and take a deep breath.”

Raven instructs you both in the basic principles of meditation that the former Guardian had begun to teach you years ago. You hadn’t kept up with it, however, Raven clearly recognizing that and taking you back to the basics. She instructs you on how to breathe, clearing your mind and focusing only on her voice. As you sit and focus, losing track of time, your instincts begin to feel something. And just as you begin to open your eyes-

“Gotcha!” Chaya shouts, your eldest daughter, Chilli and the older twins all tackling you. You chuckle as the four of them crash into you and knock you over, your kids laughing at their ‘victory’. You then grab them all up in your arms and stand, hearing and even feeling someone’s stomach rumble. It takes you a moment to realize that it’s your stomach growling, your kids all laughing.
“Well, looks like it’s time for lunch.” you say, turning to Raven with your armful of children. “Want to come eat with us?”

“Sure.” she says, unfolding her legs and standing, casually opening a portal right into your ship’s Mess Hall. You and the kids, Raven, and Tanya all travel through the portal, you noticing the child soldier eyeing Raven suspiciously. Raven notices but doesn’t acknowledge Tanya’s mistrust, seemingly unphased. You meet with the rest of your family in the Mess Hall, Meloka and Caulifla and the others having already arrived before you. You enjoy another meal in peace with your wife and kids, your small army of a family eating your fill. But as you finish your own meal, your mind again turns towards training, and the threat inching ever-closer towards New Salda.

Agreed, but I think Karn needs to be as strong as possible to avoid as many war of attrition type battles as he can. He needs to be able to punch through the harder targets and getting worn down is something that snowballs. I think the combat training option for the kids is a strong enough choice, but I'd pick the gravity training for them too if it wouldn't hurt Karn's gains.

Firing death slashes from our super ki blade.
If we can launch them past our enemy's blade or other defenses while our sword is bound against theirs, they can't really do anything since it's at point blank range and backing up opens them to further attacks.
It's a bullshit move for absolute assholes, and that's why it's perfect.
Plus, i think one or two of our friends already knows how to do this, so we could directly learn from them. It seems relatively simple too, so i doubt we could fail.

That was actually my idea for our last training action desu. Visit New Salda with Raven, warn her about whats coming, and trying to figure out a way to increase the power of our Champion Form. As you’d eaten, you had carefully considered the battle ahead. And, while you really need to buckle down and focus on building your own power, you aren’t the only one who needs more focus on their training. While your children are certainly powerful, they’re not ready. Not for what’s coming. The Tuffles are heartless, spiteful little bastards, and anything made by their hatred would doubtlessly target the children as they did back in the war. And your children won’t be helplessly cut down, not if you have anything to say about it.

“Chaya, Broly, Chilli.” you say, your three oldest all turning to look to you. “You ready to get back to work?”
“Yeah!” Chaya shouts out excitedly, leaping up from the table in excitement. Broly and Chilli are both more reserved, but barely so.
“Alright, let’s go.” you say, leading the three of them from the Mess Hall, then out of the ship as well. Taking to the air, you lead them out over the open ocean, stopping once far from land. “Alright then, let’s get to work.”
“What kind of training will we be doing?” Broly asks, always the practical one.
“Whatever it is, the three of us can handle it.” Chilli says, taking an unfamiliar stance. He must have picked it up from Megumin. “As long as we work together, we’re unstoppable!”
“And that’s what I want to address.” you say, all three again turning to you. “Each one of you is strong on your own, far stronger than I was when I was your age.”

They all perk up a bit at this, puffing their chests out a bit in pride at knowing they’re stronger than you were.

“But each of you alone isn’t strong enough.” you say, surprising them all. “But if the three of you work together, you’ll be able to fight well outside of what your powerlevels would suggest. So that’s what we’ll be working on. The three of you will learn to fight together as one, and by the end of the year you should be able to take down even King Vegeta.”
“Really?!” Chaya asks, eyes wide.
“Let’s do this!” Chilli says, flashing up to a Super Saiyan and again striking his pose. “Big Sis, Broly, you two attack and I’ll shoot him while he’s open!”
“Okay!!” Chaya shouts, flashing up to her Ascended form and blasting off at you. A moment later Broly follows, already bulking up into his Berserker form as he charges. You take your stance, readying yourself for their charge.

“HYAAAA!!” Chaya shouts, dashing in without hesitation and swinging her Ki Punch square for your head. Just behind her Broly charges in as well, and in his Berserker form he’s nearly as tall as you are. And certainly far bulkier. Broly sees Chaya’s attack as she swings, following her strike up with a left kick towards your right ribs. As their attacks close in you move, catching Chaya’s and Broly’s attacks in one hand each. But you see Chilli rising above the three of you, ki gathered into his fingertips.
“Scatter Beam!!” he shouts, firing ten power-packed beams from his fingertips. You toss both Chaya and Broly away as he attacks, activating your Barrier. His beams all strike it harmlessly, you charging straight at Chilli. His eyes widen in surprise, sheathing his entire body in what seems to be a suit of golden energy.
“Haaa!” you say, punching his chest and sending him flying, golden armor shattering and rapidly fading. “Come on, you guys aren’t working together yet. You’ll never beat me like this.”

“RRRAAAAAA!!” Broly roars, you turning to see him tossing a Scattershot up at you. With no time to activate your Barrier you simply block, crossing your arms before you as his blasts all crash into you and the surrounding area, kicking up a wall of smoke around you. With a swipe of your arm you clear the air, seeing Chaya’s gathered her ki for a very familiar attack.
“Spear Punch!!” she shouts, sending her Piercing Fist flying straight up at you. The attack closes in quick, you countering it with a quick Death Slash. Your slicing attack slices it in two, Chaya yelping as she flies aside. Your attack dissipated before it reached her, but good to see she’s paying attention.
“EXPLOOOSION!!!!” Chilli shouts, and before you can react you’re in the center of a firey explosion. It isn’t exactly a threat to you, the large attack’s power not focused directly on you. But you can sense as the other two move to Chilli, and as the blast ends you see them seemingly ready for you.

“You won round one.” Chaya says, flaring her gold and lightning aura up around herself. “But now it’s time for round two! We’re not gonna lose!”

-Later-

“I-I can’t.” Chaya says, reverting back to her base form. She drops down to the sea below, crashing into the waves by her exhausted siblings. Chaya disappears beneath the sea for a few moments before breaking the surface, gasping for air.
“Not bad you three.” you say, floating down by the water. “Let’s do it again tomorrow.”
“Okaaaay.” all three say tiredly, just passively floating on the water. You leave them to it, taking off to your upgraded Gravity Chamber. Time for you to get to work.

You fly back to your ship, touching down by the ramp and walking inside. You make your way to the recently-improved Gravity Chamber, it currently empty. Perfect. Walking in, you seal the door behind you, finding the special weights the r&d guys built. You put them on, each currently weighing maybe fifty pounds, if that. And once you put them on, you walk over to the Gravity Chamber controls, seeing they're different than you remember. Thankfully, the layout is simple, and easy to tell the difference between the weights, and the rest of the room. So you once more set the Gravity Chamber to 50x New Salda's gravity, but also set the weights on your arms and legs to double. You can hear the chamber powering up, the weights around your arms and legs shifting as well before the changes all hit you at once.

"SHIT!" you shout, as you're nearly sent crashing face-first to the ground. "What the hell? I must be out of practice."

You then dive headfirst back into your own training, pushing your body to it's limits. You spend the majority of your afternoon in the intense gravity, the weights exhausting you far faster than the Gravity Chamber would by itself. But despite reaching your limits quickly you pushed through, and after several hours you dropped exhausted to the training room's floor, vision going dark.

"Daddy? Daddy?" you hear, wearily opening your eyes to find yourself on your back, young Tatsu and Tomi both looking worriedly at you. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, I'm fine." you say, pushing yourself wearily back up to your feet. "What're you two doing in here?"
"We sensed you were in here, and not moving" Tomi says worriedly.
"And we were worried about you." Tatsu says, and as you rise up you see Caulifla is in here as well.
"Well I'm glad you're all here, I was actually going to come looking for you three." you say, stretching and popping your neck. "I think it's about time."
"Time?" the twins ask in sync. "For what?"
"To begin your real training." you say.

"So what're we doing out here?" Caulifla asks, the four of you now gathered by the former Glass Plains, now the site of the nearby Jiralhanae village. "I thought we were gonna start trainin'?"
"We are." you say, rolling your right shoulder. "Its time I trained you three the same as I trained your older siblings."
"We're gonna be trained like Broly an' Chaya?" Tatsu asks.
"So we're gonna finally go Super Saiyan?" Tomi asks, you shaking your head. "Aww, why not?"
"You all aren't ready for that, at least not yet." you say, taking your stance. "But now, get ready. We're gonna spar. You three versus me."
"R-Really?" the twins ask in sync, but Caulifla doesn't hesitate, activating Triumph who appears with a screech. "We get to spar with you?"
"Of course." you reply. "Are you all ready?"
"READY!" the twins shout, Tatsu and Tomi taking a stance unfamiliar to you. Tatsu's right is holding Tomi's left, fingers interwoven as they both face you together. Triumph is perched on Caulifla's shoulders, cawing at you as flames gather around it's mouth. You brace yourself, the twins rushing at you together.

"HAAAA!!"
"HYAAA!!" they shout together, both of their powers soaring. Wait, not both of their power. Your jaw drops as you feel it, Tatsu and Tomi's ki have actually combined! You watch as their combined purple aura surges, feeling their combined strength easily reaching six digits.
"Woah." you say, impressed. You didn't know they could do this, how long have they been working on this? But you don't have time to wonder, Triumph blasting at you with a surge of fire. You flip away, easily dodging the stream of golden flames and charging her. You reach her before she can react, punching her in the gut just enough to wind her.
"Gaaah?!" she wheezes, dropping to her knees as all the air in her lungs is forced out. Triumph disappears as well, fading back to nothing.
"What?" Tomi shouts, shocked.
"What did you do?!" Tatsu yells angrily, their powers no longer in sync and dropping just as fast as they'd risen. "You killed her!"
"Relax, I didn't kill her, see?" you say, Caulifla pushing herself back to her feet. "I told you, we're training. But this isn't an easy training. I'm gonna give it my all, and turn you three into real fighters!"

"What do you mean?" Tomi asks you. "By hurting us?"
"Exactly. When you're fighting the real bad guys, they won't hold back." you tell them. "They'll be trying their best to hurt you, to kill you. And as your father, I refuse to let that happen. So I'm going to train you all, and make you tough enough to beat anyone. Are you in?"

Tatsu and Tomi share a look, nodding at exactly the same time then turning back to you.

"We're in." they say, again perfectly in-sync.
"Me toooo!" Caulifla shouts, having finally caught her breath. Triumph again appears with a roar, her Stand glaring intimidatingly at you. "I'm gonna get strong too! Even stronger than Daddy!"
"Now that's the spirit!" you say, again dropping into your stance. "Now, let's go again!"
"RIGHT!!" all three of them shout out, ready to go. You spend the next hour or so with the three of them, knocking them down over and over and over again until none of them can muster the strength to rise. You sigh out as Caulifla tries one last time to rise, almost getting a knee under her before collapsing onto her face.
"You all did great." you say, walking over and sharing some of your ki with each of them. As your strength infuses them, your kids rise; bruised, battered and bleeding but seeming proud of themselves. "C'mon, that's enough for today."

Instead of forcing them all to fly back, you grab the three of them in your arms, and after several moments of focus find Meloka's ki on the ship, you using your Instant Transmission to teleport yourself and your three kids with you right to her. She slightly starts at your sudden appearance, but no more than that. Seems she's getting used to you suddenly appearing near her.

"There you are." she says, you realizing you're right outside the Mess Hall. "I was about to call you, and tell you it was time for dinner. But it looks like you saved me the trouble. So, how was your first real training with your dad?"
"I'm so tired!" Caulifla whines, Meloka chuckling and ruffling her hair.
"You'll get used to it sweety." your wife says, as Chaya and Broly dash past you all and rush in. Seems they're hungry as well. "Now come on, let's go eat."
"YAAAAY!' the three of them shout, you all walking in and sitting down at the table. You all enjoy a peaceful supper, most of the kids rushing from the table and heading to bathe before bed.
"You coming to bed too hun?" Meloka asks as the two of you walk down the ship's hall. "Or you have something else you want to do first?"
"Well, I do have some training in mind-" you begin, before a telepathic voice interrupts your conversation.
"Karn, I need your help." Towa says directly into your mind. "It's Koruza."

“I have no idea how he did it, but he’s already taken down Chaya!” she says, a chill running up your spine, and out of the corner of your eye you see Meloka shiver as well, realizing she can hear Towa as well. “Cell and Mira are both down as well. Whatever he’s doing, none of my fighters here can stop him. We need you here Karn.”
“Alright, bring me over.” you reply. “I’m ready.”

And as soon as you think this to her, Churai appears, and the next instant you’re back in Towa’s Lab.

Maza and Milha both leap at you, tears running down your half-demon childrens’ faces. Towa rushes to you as well, you wrapping your arms around the three of them.

“It’s alright.” you say. “I’m here, everything will be okay now. Towa, where is he?”
“I don’t know.” she says worriedly. “I sealed all the entrances to this room when Chaya was taken down. I’m sure Koruza is nearby, but I have no idea where exactly he is. I’ve been checking the security footage, but I can’t see him anywhere.”
“I’ll take care of it.” you say, walking to the door. “Just lift the seal long enough for me to go through, and keep the kids safe. I’ll figure out what’s going on.”
“Alright, be safe.” Towa says.
“Good luck Dad!” your two demonic children say, the door sliding open just a moment and allowing you to step through. The moment you’re clear, it again slides shut, leaving you alone. Looking around you don’t see anything out of the ordinary, so you close your eyes and focus. You can sense Mira’s massive power level radiating from several levels below you, but he’s not the only one. You also sense Chaya, closer to you but still a noticeable distance away. Far closer is Cell, his power coming from just around the next corner. But as you take their powers in, you suddenly feel like you’re being watched. Eyes snapping open, you look around, but see nothing. For just a moment, however, you thought you saw a pair of glowing red eyes. But when you blinked they were gone

Yeah, no. Whatever’s going on, you need intel. Chaya faced it already, you need to know what she saw. Putting the two fingers of your right hand to your forehead, and after a few moments teleport deeper inside Towa’s lab complex. One moment you’re in a hall, the next you’re in the heavy-load Gravity Chamber. Thankfully for you it’s off, the gravity Chaya can get to would crush you flat.

“Chaya! Hey kiddo, it’s me.” you say, dropping to a knee and placing a hand on her forehead. She mumbles something unintelligible, rolling over onto her side. “C’mon Chaya, you gotta get up.
“Mrrrm. Five more minutes.” she mutters, but after another moment springs up. “Koruza! Wait, Daddy?”
“Hey kiddo.” you say, Futute Chaya rushing into your arms and begins bawling. “Shhh, shhhh, it’s okay. It’s okay, I’m here now.”
“I was so scared!” she shouts, still crying uncontrollably. “There were monsters everywhere, and I couldn’t stop them! I was so afraid I was gonna die!”
“It’s okay, I’ll take care of it.” you say, trying to soothe your rattled daughter. “But I’ll need your help Chaya. You gotta tell me what happened and what you saw, so won’t get caught off-guard.”

“O-Okay.” she says, recollecting. “Well, I was in here training, when Maza walked in, holding Koruza’s hand. Then suddenly there was this large demonic creature there. I was so terrified of that thing I couldn’t move, the creature summoning an army of shadowy monsters that swarmed me. And then... And then...”
“It’s okay.” you say, holding and comforting your daughter. “It’s alright. I’ll take things from here, you don’t have to worry anymore kiddo.”

As you hold your daughter, you again feel that sensation of being watched. Thinking quickly to not worry Chaya any further, you summon Dragon Force. Your Stand looks around the room, and from it’s eyes you see it. For just a moment, you again saw the glowing eyes from the shadows. But when you see it, the eyes again vanish.

As the eyes vanish, so too does the sensation of being watched. But your instincts are still on high alert, you shouldn’t stay here long. But Chaya’s still rattled, she’s in no shape for a fight right now. So instead of going on the hunt, you focus your mind, and a few seconds later vanish. Using Instant Transmission you leave the training room behind, once more appearing by Towa and the kids.

“CHAYA!!” they both shout, leaping at your future daughter. She hugs them both to her, Towa sighing out in relief as you both appear.
“I’m going back out.” you tell Towa, again making your way to the door. She nods, once again lifting the seal just long enough for you to go out through the automatic door. You step through the door, it shutting behind you with a hiss. But as soon as you step through, you again feel the sensation of being watched. “Alright, Koruza. Where are you hiding?”

Once more you focus your ki senses, feeling that both Cell and Mira haven’t yet moved. But focusing further, you find one more tiny ki. You can barely sense it, but it’s there. That has to be him. You begin walking down the halls towards him, quickly heading up another level towards the living quarters. But as you arrive on the upper floor, you can immediately tell something’s different. The air feels strange, the shadows up here darker and deeper than you remember.

For Bardock or Raditz, it'd have to be settled in a preliminary match between the two.
I can only see Raditz growing to be an incredibly similar fighter to Bardock, save for the gap in experience between them and their respective techniques.
As for Chaya and Broly, they are at progressing at roughly the same rate right now and probably will as long as nothing major impedes their training.
As it stands, Broly probably has the highest potential (taking the time before the tournament into account), while Chaya will probably have built up the greatest longevity and had least lapses in training over the years.
If Broly keeps up with his training and truly masters all the stages of the Berserk transformation, I'd say he takes the spot.
If Chaya is still deadset on getting a spot on the team at that point, she can challenge the winner between Bardock and Raditz's bout.
