You are a tiny, blind slime monster. You've recently absorbed something real dense and have spent a good amount of time resting in place in order to speed up the process. You'd be able to observe your surroundings but you don't have functioning eyes? You may or may not be aware of what eyes even are.

What do you do?
>WAKE UP! Been in one place for too long!

You decide to keep resting, though struggle to digest more of this strange substance. You sense something pop and now feel a void left empty has manifested within your being. This is a good thing, since the substance is still occupying your first void. Feels wrong that you haven't been able to digest this stuff yet, especially since it's real powdery and you can't eject it from your body easily.

Not wanting to let the gnawing feeling turn into something worse, it is deemed time to wake up.

Not like it makes much of a difference, just that digestion happens faster while 'sleeping'. You're blind after all, and don't have any sense other than feel to work with. The only actual difference between these states is you can sort of extend a thing to touch stuff from a distance? You've done this a few times, and was even the reason why you found the strange stuff to eat. Other than that, you can focus to feel around the area but it's not with... a real touch? It's hard to explain, given you don't have a good means to think in the first place.

You touch in 'front' of you and feel something hard and jagged, yet cut flat. Cracks of this material can be felt nearby as well, a sort of proxy feeling you get whenever you purposefully make contact with things.

Deciding to instead turn your attention to 'feeling' the area, you enter a mid-slumbering state and sense the normal gentle push of some unseen hand caressing your form in passing. It's a very pleasant feeling which you often have used as a guide since it seems like it's always going somewhere good. You also sense nearby some other things! They don't do more than sway in place, and they don't seem to be aware of your presence either.

You don't really have a good feeling of understanding for whatever this was, so you take to trying to absorb the thing you were resting on moments ago. The most you pick up is some more powder, couple of small hard things which get rejected immediately, and after spending some time searching for a means to consume this whatever you notice it's a very smooth surface now as there is nothing left to possibly consume. After that development, you take to probing whatever is surrounding the now smooth thing, and find it's just more of the stuff you hate consuming. As with the rope, you do not have enough grip or mass (whichever is actually required you feel you don't have it) to perform such a task. However, you decide to venture over to the other large flat thing in the gross stuff. It is already smoothed off, though unlike the first one being full of cracks and craigs this one feels like... you don't know how to describe it. The center easily holds your form in place, so it probably is good for holding other things.

You extend your 'feeling' to the nearby vicinity, and sense a resonance with some things nearby. Most are on top of the huge wet, on platforms that you can tell from here feel very flimsy. Nearby is some castaway stuff, feels firm and sort of familiar. Further away you can feel the edge of the gross stuff, and a weird formation of round things sitting just past it.

You feel this clearing of sorts has an odd shape to it, and just a bit further past it resides something so hard and dense that you are surprised you can even tell it exists. Real smooth unlike the others you recently encountered.

However, you are now surrounded by some fluttering things and they seem to be attempting to communicate with you. It takes a few attempts for the fluttering things to manage to figure out a possible means to communicate with you, which results in them making a formation that seems to point you in a specific direction. You feel they want you to go back to where the crackly things are for some reason. Well, were since there is only a single crackly thing there now.

While you know the huge wet is over there, you do not remember how far away it was. 'Feeling' out the area makes you realize how close you were to the huge wet, and you feel a sense of relief knowing you did not stumble into it blindly. You feel something new as well, a large stick-like flat round thing sits near the edge of the not-gross stuff. You also feel another fluttering thing nearby, flapping above the round thing you took from the group of other round things where the other fluttering things came from. This one feels to be straining itself in order to call out to you, or at least in the direction of you so perhaps they are calling out to their other fluttering things?

It takes a while to scoot over as a flower, but you do manage to get to the end of the gross stuff in time. The fluttering thing takes to circling over the round thing that you shot the crackling thing with not too long ago. Feels like they want to not be in the wet stuff, or they do not want the round thing in the wet stuff.

You take advantage of your improved height as a flower and plap the top onto the closest pad. Your form holds little traction, but the curly bits that you absorbed earlier hit the leaf and pierce it, causing the pad to be snagged on your form. You have managed to grab one of the pads! Now you just need to figure out how to get it to the gross stuff so you can try absorbing it.

... and with another 'pop' somewhere deep inside you manage to gain both another ability and consume the platform! You feel very, very satisfied that all it took was some honest effort and perseverance in order to overcome yet another obstacle. You easily pull the round thing out of the huge wet, but contemplate on if you want to absorb it into your body. If you do this you would be leaving the pad behind. Same goes for if you wanted to consume the crackly thing. Now that the round thing is out of the huge wet, the fluttering thing seems to be at ease. You feel like now would be the time to start some sleep and attempt to digest the pad, then maybe the frog.

The strange stuff that still resides within your form rumbles within its void pocket and forms some type of new ability for you to use. An ability which you accidentally use immediately, being conveying the feeling of the melody. You decide to inquire towards the local vicinity, and feel a small discussion being held between the fluttering things. The smallest one offers a suggestion which you can feel is to be a guide for you, to which the fluttering one who sent you to return them to the circle hesitantly gives an approval. During their exchange you can sense that tie grow stronger and you're now able to perceive this fluttering thing with far more clarity.

Small fibers cover most of the top of its form, billowing out in little wisps, curls, and waves with one stubborn swoop topping them. This means it is very significant compared to the others, and demands respect. The main body seems to have a host of accouterments which provide cover and camouflage in order to protect this creature from predators, obviously. Four appendages grow out of the main body, though nothing seems to significant about them save the top two having little bits similar to what you use to poke and prod things with, just much much smaller than what you have thought would be possible. FInally, the large, flimsy things that cause the fluttering in the first place look to have some sort of strange design to them, or a structure which allows them to not fold or break while flittering back and forth. You also take note of the means in which they communicate with the others, using an orifice similar to the one you produce when you shoot things from your void pocket.

Asking about the super dense thing a good distance away, your companion informs you that it is used to make a bunch of things. They mention things like 'wehpuhns,' 'arhmurr,' and 'muhgs' as some of the things they've been told can be made from using it. Asking about what 'seeing' is gets a feeling of realization and they feel far from confident in explaining it to you. Something about seeing lets you notice things you are looking at, and something about 'kullurs' of which you feel like there's yet another disconnect between you and other things.

You scoot over to the anvil and 'feel' around the area. This vantage point combined with your flower height lets you get a more detailed sense of your surroundings, though some of the gross stuff gets picked up where it has gathered in thicker tufts than the rest. You can feel another hard cluster furthest away, with a thing that reminds you of the first platform you cleared to a shine. Nearby towards the edge is a stick like thing that feels similar to the 'wehpuhns' that your companion described earlier. Nearby is a hole in the gross stuff, lined with some course hard stuff and it holds a weird flaky powder that feels familiar but you cannot remember why or how.

You also take the moment of having an increased height to attempt a physical consolation for your companion, aim for the head, and bop them gently with your flower face. They are caught off guard well enough and panic in a blatant fear of which you feel easily due to the contact and subsequent close vicinity. Even you are taken aback by this development, as you did not expect such a harsh, negative feeling to come from it. It takes a moment but your guide flutters closer to your flower face, and puts out one of their higher appendages to touch the center of the flower. You can feel a sense of reservation and that they are clenching their face tight. With the direct contact of this appendage, you feel gratitude and repentance, before acceptance.

The stick like thing they say is a 'tohee sohrd', the hole in the gross stuff is a 'fohrjuh' and the pile in the bottom is 'ahsh'. Furthest away they say is a 'rahk'. You ask about the crackly thing and they say that is a 'fohrahg' to which you cannot help but bob your flower head with a new understanding. Having this guide around will certainly make quick work in regards to figuring things out for sure.

You roll over to the bahtl and try to pull the kohrk from the tip, but it seems to be stuck fast. Our guide inquires if we want the wyn inside of it, to which you confirm. They mention most stahpurs are pushed in real tight so there is no easy chance that it comes undone on accident, so if you are not strong enough to open it right now then you cannot get what is inside the bahtl. They do mention that they have seen bahtls get broken as they are quite fragile, so if you can find something that can break the bahtl you can get inside it that way. They also make a note that it 'sounds' awful to hear stuff breaking, to which you agree though you do not understand what 'hear' means. You just assume it is like 'seeing' and that it would be hard to talk about without a bridge across that particular gap.

It dawns on you that you do not understand what a cranky thing is, and that the earlier inquiry about the now know 'fohrahgs' was a misunderstanding, even though you did learn about something else. Putting that realization aside, you drag the tohee sohrd over to the bathl and push it into the edge peeking out over the gross stuff. You feel a light reverb from your appendage but the bahtl is not broken open, and the kohrk remains in place.

This is quite a quandary.

You roll the bahtl over to the anvil and attempt to put it up on top of it, but cannot seem to manage to get it up onto the platform itself. It is easy enough for you to slosh up onto it, but getting something else up there that is not within your void pocket is another story apparently. Though you do get an interesting idea...

Luckily enough the tohee sohrd falls flat in the dead center of the circle, much to the surprise of the fluttering things. You also feel at ease for no harm coming from this unfortunate turnout. You decide to not shoot things towards other things as a means to avoid having this situation happen again.

You attempt to absorb the bahtl into your void pocket, but the thin nozzle that leads to the kohrk sticks out which makes your digestion weaken for some reason. You then feel that trying to absorb the kohrk would have a more fruitful result, but not being able to fully envelope the kohrk (as some of it is inside the bathl) you run into the same issue. Our guide watches patiently from their perch, curious and inquisitive while lifting and dropping their lower appendages in no particular rhythm.

You wait to see if digestion will take place, but between the kohrk being able to avoid digestion through not being fully enveloped, and realizing this bahtl is similar to the pad you recently consumed where it was completely immune to your digestion you give up on the bahtl in favor of prodding the rahk. Of course, you pick up your companion and their perch on the way. When you prod the rahk, an aggressive response comes from underneath, to which the fluttering guide suggests it is a 'hohm' for something. You feel it would be best to leave this thing by itself, as it is much too aggravated to be as friendly as our guide.

The tohee sohrd floats over the fohrahj and straight into the hands of our guide, though it is roughly the size of their body without the wings on its own. Seemingly out of tradition, they produce a melody of three notes with the third held longer than the other two combined meanwhile lifting the item over their head to allow it to float in place. They mention that they have obtained a faerie charm, and it lets them both defend themselves and use things for something called magic, to which you only bob in acceptance while they try to figure out how to fit this on their person.

Down below you feel a roar coming from where the huge wet seems to be spilling over and into, as well as a large, damp stick thing coming out of the not-gross stuff. All in all, you honestly feel a sense of contentment from this location and being able to 'feel' it.

So much that you feel like staying in this spot for a while. Our guide agrees with a bob of their head and together you take in the world around you, albeit a bit separate from one another.

Hail and well met. You are a tiny, blind slime monster and have found yourself a guide who flutters by your side. They are bound to a mushroom of which you normally keep within your pocket void, but as of a most recent series of acquisitions you both decided to take a moment to soak in the environment. You do feel like there is another pair of eyes upon your duo, and as such it is time to begin another session. Hope you enjoy your visit.

The huge wet roars deep below the edge of the gross stuff with a large, slick stick seemingly coming out of the wet to burrow into the soft stuff beneath the gross. Nearby resides an angry resident, your fluttering companion (now equipped with a 'tohee sohrd', a bahtl that is kohrked and contains wyn. Above resides a big stick with what feels like it would be more gross stuff, and some small familiar things hanging from among the gross grouping. Your companion begins a dialogue with the eye in the big stick, though you feel as though their version of the story is different than how it actually happened in a few spots. You feel that our fluttering guide is doing their best to give this person a good impression of you.

You feel something very wrong with Ser Fuzzylad, being first their size is comparable to the big stick they just came out of. Second is that they are not just part of the big stick. Third is their form is covered with bristles similar to your guide and their top stuff but it is all pointed. Another strange thing about this creature is they have seven appendages, one resting between their eyes, two above the eyes which flick and twitch as they turn in random directions, and then four nearly identical limbs though two are used to prop the form up and the other two are stretched out to either side.
