This is Alfred Brown’s quest for revenge.Last time you escaped the small town of Laoling to another small town of Naramatsunai, worked as a bartender, survived the advances of an old thirsty woman and rented a cabin near the beach.Currently, an eccentric man made his appearance by violently breaking inside the cabin, rudely pointing at you three – demanding retribution for unknown reasons! A dangerous confrontation is upon us!Archive: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=slightly+petty+revenge(This is going to be a short thread.)
>>3613772[DAY 08/SUNDAY]The dangerous confrontation is defused as quickly as it started. The moment he stepped inside the cabin, you made two important observations about the foolhardy man:One, he’s exhausted and potentially hungry. Which is not a good sign. Two, his will is moved by the most altruistic of motives: Revenge. You can see it in his eyes, he won’t stop until he obtains his payback. You respect that, so you invited him to eat the meal you put your heart into. The intruder is enjoying the Regular Homemade Dinner you made, sitting at the table with you three. Catastrovania and Maggie are as far as they can be from the stranger, both looking uncomfortable, but you’re sitting next to him no problem. Why wouldn’t you? Aside from the dubious make-up he’s wearing, the strong-willed man looks like a man with good intentions.Maggie tries to address the elephant in the room, but you raise your hand to keep her quiet. The man needs some time to digest his food.“Thanks for the meal!” The eccentric intruder is full of gratitude. It’s getting late. At this pace, your morning exercises will be in jeopardy. What do you say?>“Could you explain to us what’s going on with you?”>“Sorry friend, but it’s getting late and you need to go to your house. >>3613774>“Could you explain to us what’s going on with you?”
“Could you explain to us what’s going on with you?” You politely asked.“Oh, right.” The man drinks what’s left of his glass of water in one gulp, puts it on the table, and stands up. “Ehem… It’s time for you to pay for what you did to MEEEEE!” He points towards one of the girls, then at you, then at the girls. Doesn’t look like he’s confident of the culprit he’s seeking. You walk next to the girls so he doesn’t have to keep doing that.“You already said that…” Catastrovania points out.The intruder completely ignores Catastrovania. “You think you can just trample over me and think I’m not going to do anything?!”“We, like, don’t understand what’s going at all.” Maggie is confused. “What’s your name even?”“Name’s Spectralhound, and I’m sure one of you have done me wrong. Backstabbed me one way or another! And I won’t stay silent!”“Spectralhound? Sounds familiar...” Maggie seems to be onto something, yet you and Catastrovania are clueless – you both share a look and shrug.“Hey, hey… I’m pretty famous, all right? Just try a little bit harder… I’m sure I’m all over the radio stations now.” He seems offended by no one knowing him.“Mr. Spectralhound—”“Just call me Spectralhound.” Spectralhound interrupts you.“Yeah, whatever. You haven’t answered my question, could you do that now?” You knew it was revenge, but why?“Mmm... I don’t know if I can share my tormented past with you all. I’m seriously grateful for the food you gave me. But one of you is the reason why I’m here tonight and I won’t show weakness to my enemies!” The eccentric fellow is a puzzle you don’t want to bother finishing.“Hey Catastrovania Strifaust Morituros IX, he talks just like you! You could be friends!” Maggie smiles warmly to Catastrovania.“I sound like that…?” Catastrovania looks shocked, then she shakes her head. “E-Ehem! Well indeed, some say parody is the highest form of flattery. Fufufu…”“Just spit it out.” Enough with giving him a warm welcome.“I… I…” Spectralhound closes his eyes and clenches his fist, he’s disturbed. “I was overcharged at the car rental! I know one of you did it! I identified the car I supposedly rented and found you lot!”“…Why not sue the company instead of chasing after us?” Maggie states the obvious.“A-ha! So it was you!” The intruder points directly at Maggie.“Uh?! What makes you say that?!” Maggie looks offended.“You look the part!”“…That’s true. But I don’t!” Nice argument, Maggie.
>>3613919“Then it was you!” He points at Catastrovania now. He believed her...?“W-What makes you think t-that?!” The cat girl is startled.“Well if she didn’t! That means you did! No man who prepares such a great meal can be capable of evil.” The man full of make-up nods at you. “Now it’s time to pay!” He starts cracking his knuckles. Catastrovania hides immediately behind you. What do you do?>“Cat, apologize to the well-intentioned man.”>“I made her do that. The one you’re seeking is me.”>“Stop pointing at people.”>“Can we just pay you your money back?”>“You got the wrong people here.” Blame Aleister somehow!>Write In.

>>3613923>“Stop pointing at people.”>"How did you even get here?"
“Stop pointing at people.” You demanded in a stern but polite tone.“Uh, sure…” Spectralhound looks ashamed of himself.“How did you even get here?”“Not by my rental car, that’s obvious!” At least the wannabe looking rock star finds humor in the situation. “I took the train.” “Ooooh.” Maggie tries to act surprised.“Stop with the weird questions!” You disagree with his assessment. These questions are pretty normal. “Give me what I want!”“You do realize more people work at the car rental company than just one, right? I’m sure it was one of the only employees. The only one of us who even worked there was Catastrovania and she wouldn’t over charge anyone.” You explain. “That’s where you are wrong, man!” Spectralhound wanted to point at you but he refrained from doing so. “I have definitive evidence, I have the online receipt here! Look the seller’s name.” He shows it to you, yep, that’s Catastrovania’s stupidly large name. “See? I had my doubts who this Catastrovania really was, but now I know the TRUUuuuUUTH!”“Even me? That’s a girl’s name…” You’re slightly offended. “I’m not judging.” Spectralhound shrugs. Him jumping from enraged to chill and enraged again is odd.Maggie gets closer and takes the receipt to check it herself. “Your name is Frederick Conti?” Maggie points out.“Y-Yeah…” He looks ashamed of it. “Ha! I’m gonna call you Freddy from now on!” Maggie starts giggling.“Just use my stage name!” Freddy gets mad again. “Anyway, stop stalling! I want retribution! Catastro-whatever! You’re going to pay for what you did!” “Ngh…” Catastrovania buries herself further down behind your back. “H-Help…” She whispers to you. You promise the frightened cat that you will take care of her. “Is there a way we can settle this peacefully?” No need to make more enemies now. Besides, Aleister is the only one you would want to keep as one. “Also we might need to make this quick since we pissed off a criminal organization and they might show up unexpectedly at any moment like you did.”“I never thought about it. I was prepared to fight and nothing else…” Freddy rubs his chin.“…A girl. You were prepared to fight a girl and nothing else...?” It’s not even about being chivalrous, but wouldn’t most people in physical disadvantages try to solve their problems peacefully? Who are you to talk? You want to have your revenge against a man 0.02% stronger than you! “Hey, I pick fights I can win most of the time.” Freddy is a coward, all respect you had for him is slowly disappearing. “But I would fight anyone who wronged me! Girl or giant. Strong or weak. Cute or ugly. I don’t care! All for inspiration.”“So?” “Monetary settlement is out of the question…” He seems to be putting a lot of thought about what he wants. “Life is all about respect. You didn’t even give a second thought about who you were screwing up. So not only do I want an apology, but I want a good one. You hear me?”“Oh no, are you going to make her like beg for it on her knees?! Then kiss your feet?! And then spank her?! Then cancel the holidays?!” Maggie exclaims as her mind is going to darker places. Catastrovania’s eyes open wide and starts fidgeting uncontrollably. The cat girl tries to say something but only incoherent whining comes out of her mouth.
>>3614296“W-Who said anything about spanking her?!” Freddy Spectralhound is weirded out. “You do have a point… I want her on her knees apologizing and kissing my feet. Yeah, sounds good. I won’t settle for less. You gave me something to eat so I don’t want something else.” He nods to himself. You turn to Catastrovania who is looking all kinds of conflicted. She whispers to you… “I-I only did that to help… Please don’t make me do it…” What do you do? >“Don’t be selfish. (Quality may vary in these posts.)“That won’t do. I apologize for the troubles you endured, but I won’t make a fool out of one of the members of this team.” You firmly reply to Freddy. The man grits his teeth in response. He's not happy!Catastrovania is moved by your response! You feel her trust for you building up!“No, you’re going out of synch. But since you’re the one doing the apologies for Ms. Tight lips here. Why don’t we take things outside and settle things like men?” Freddy Spectralhound wants to escalate this! “My demands were clear. You didn’t accept ‘em. Here are the consequences.” He cracks his knuckles.“Hey, hey, hey. We tried to make this non-violent and stuff! What’s your problem?!” Maggie is fairly agitated.“My problem? I didn’t travel for hours for a half-assed apology from someone who isn’t the main culprit! I bet your ass I wouldn’t even hear an apology if I didn’t bring myself here! My problem this shit isn’t good enough!” Spectralhound shouts to Maggie, who walks a couple of steps back. “Am I crystal clear? It’s time for demolition!”“And what makes you think we will follow your rules, Mr. Clown?!” Maggie won’t stand for this.“Clown?! Have you seen your own make-up?!” Surprisingly, this comment actually hurt Maggie! She takes a mirror out of her pocket to look at herself. “But you see, I know a man when I see one. I’ll be outside waiting!” He steps out of the cabin with strong determination.“Hey, y-you don’t have to do it…” Catastrovania pulls your shirt and whisper.“Grrr! Let’s all beat him up! >>3616847>lock the door call the cops
With great determination you approach the door, each step heavier than the last. Both Maggie and Catastrovania watch you go with admiration in their eyes. They both want to say something, but they know words of encouragement will do more harm than good, you cannot lose concentration. You continue to move forward… … You heroically lock the door. You turn to the perplexed duo, you locked eyes with Maggie as she’s the one who looked less shocked of the two and say without any emotion whatsoever: “Call the cops.”“A-Aye!” Maggie takes her phone out and makes the distress call, while she’s busy talking to the authorities, Catastrovania approaches you. “I-I’m actually relieved you didn’t go out, but…” Catastrovania looks unsure if this is going to work.“Just hope he doesn’t try to bring the door down.” Maggie was intelligent enough to call your landlord as well and inform them of the situation, with that, a couple of thugs (or security guards) dealt with a clueless Spectralhound. He was still expecting you to come out to fight even after a long time waiting. Poor naive guy. Your landlord dealt with the police and will press charges against Freddy “Spectralhound” Conti. You didn’t want him to, but eh, it’s not your business. If the guy is as famous as he pretends he is, this won’t go well for him and will want to keep quiet. You’re not planning on staying for long, so you don’t care. It all happened in the span of 30 minutes, so aside from peeking from the window, you and the girls didn’t do much. It’s already late, you need to go to sleep. What do you do? >Go to sleep! You need to make sure you’re at full strength for tomorrow’s morning exercises.>Have a little chat with Catastrovania now. You approach Catastrovania who you perceive as looking a little down from the incident. Before you pry into why, Maggie approached you both and reported she’s going to go to girls’ room to sleep. She doesn’t look one bit tired. You faintly see her phone’s screen on Youtube, so you’re not entirely sure if she’s telling the truth, even with these doubts in mind – you trust her anyhow. Now you’re left alone with Catastrovania. She beats you to the task and starts the conversation: “S-Shouldn’t we go to sleep as well…?” Catastrovania doesn’t appear to look comfortable.“Not sure. You don’t look good.”“Y-You noticed…” Catastrovania is a little embarrassed. “Explain to me what’s wrong.”“Huh… It’s n-nothing...” She’s lying.“Were you afraid just now?” “N-No! I’m no s-stranger to enemies! I’ve defeated hundreds of powerful entities beyond your comprehension! That man was not worth my time, hence why I let you dealt with him.” Catastrovania smugly boasts about her greatness. “It had absolutely nothing to do with me being afraid and s-stuff!”“So why were you hiding behind me then?” “I w-was testing you a-again! You failed again for not showcasing your abilities to me! But I applaud your cunningness, so I’ll let this slide again! My generosity knows no bounds!” The humble Catastrovania exclaimed.“I can still see your legs trembling.” “T-That’s because… Uhm… I’m tired! Hiding my true power is exhausting!”“Didn’t you say the opposite before?” That she needed to recharge or something…“It’s advanced DARK MAGIC! You wouldn’t understand quite as easily as someone as gifted as myself, so I’ll refrain from explaining.” Catastrovania’s smugness disappear in a blink of an eye as she asks an important question. Her cheeks are red and she’s looking away from you. “Uhm… Alfred, after you guys go training, are you going to be busy? I wanted to show you something, I-I think it’s pretty c-cool… I can’t show it now, I need t-to p-prepare first… so are you up to it?” How do you respond? >“Sure.” It’s not like you’re planning on working tomorrow or leave as soon as possible.>“What do you mean “you guys”? “But what do you mean “you guys”? You’re training too.” You respond to this first. Sneaky Catastrovania wants to lazy around.“I b-barely survived last time…”“The first is always the hardest. I believe in you.” In her and Maggie! You’re a team, damn it. “But I’m not doing what you say unless you promise to train twice as hard the day after tomorrow.” “Ngh… Fine! But if I d-die, you’ll have to summon my eternal soul back to this realm somehow!” Catastrovania agrees to your proposal. You were teasing her, but it’s good she’s up to more training. She needs it. You nod back as a way to seal the deal. There is no turning back now. Promptly, Catastrovania excuses herself to the girls’ room as she needs to prepare for tomorrow’s activity! You ask her to conserve some energy and tell the same to Maggie. An excited Catastrovania smiles and nods at your direction. It’s time for you to sleep again. [DAY 09/MONDAY] What a beautiful early morning for you to train! Immediately you go for the girls to get this day going! Maggie looks sleepy as always, but Catastrovania looks full of energy! With a nutritious breakfast eaten. It’s time for your team morning jogging. It was a disaster. Catatrovania’s frail tooth-pick body gave up halfway through it and you had to carry her on your back. Things got worse when Maggie collapsed as well, you tried to fisherman carry both, but you weren’t strong enough for that yet. You dropped them one by one back at the cabin. Catastrovania first who was happy to have some extra time to prepare for her activity, then Maggie who was happy to enjoy some time on the beach. While Catastrovania did so much better than last time, it is still unacceptable she can’t do the full run – but you appreciate her trying. On the other hand, you were completely disappointed in Maggie who before was able to keep up with you! Worse is that she seems content with you carrying her around for some reason. You gained +3 Fitness experience points. You’re halfway through! Carrying the extra weight helped…
>>3617510After dropping Maggie on her bed in the girls’ room and taking a quick shower, Catastrovania called you to the dining table, she has something prepared with her laptop on… “Please sit down!” Catastrovania seems anxious but happy to start. You quietly sit at the other side of the table, where Cat was pointing at. “Hmm?”“So… Have you heard about quests before?” Catastrovania wonders. “Huh… Nice shirt.” It’s weird.“Thanks!” She sounds far more energetic than usual, that’s counting the exercise she did. “So? Have you?” She inquiries again.“I’ve heard of CYOA, does that count?” You think you’ve heard of it. “Or is it more like tabletop gaming?” You played dnd with your friends before they left Laoling. “You could say that! Yes! Like those, this is like, an interactive story..! I’m a QM! A quest maker! Only the most genius, hyper intelligent spellbinding story weavers of society could ever have what it takes to craft such compelling user influenced tales!” Catastrovania seems happy to explain.“So it’s exactly like dnd.” So instead of calling yourself DM, she’s a QM. No difference.“I guess…” She doesn’t seem happy with the comparison for some reason. “All you gotta do to play is follow along and answer my questions. Now, normally, I’d run you through a few sessions, but I’ll make this quick! One session for you to play. I usually run a cyberpunk setting, but I binge read Berserk the other day, so I’m up for some dark fantasy this time! I put a lot of effort into it!” “Sure.” This is a nice change of pace from… eh… the usual? “Ehem! In the magical land of—” Catastrovania is ready to start her tale.“Hey you two, what are you doing?” Maggie appears in the scene. “Are you two going to have fun without me?” She jokes, but something about her tone makes you feel that’s not all that funny for her. What do you do? >“Yes. Good-bye.” She’s grounded for lazing out the morning jogging! No fun allowed for her.>“Do you want to play, Maggie? “Do you want to play, Maggie?” You ask Maggie first, then realize you should ask Catastrovania instead. “Hey Cat, can we include Maggie in the game as well?”“Uuhh… Fine...” Catastrovania looks slightly uncomfortable, perhaps she wasn’t ready for another player. Catastrovania points to the chair next to you for Maggie to sit on.“Cooool!” Maggie takes a seat. “So what are we doing?”Catastrovania briefly explains quests again.“I don’t get it…” Maggie shows her clueless nature yet again.“You don’t? Haven’t you heard of dnd? It’s like this…”Now you briefly explain how tabletop gaming works.“Uuh… And you guys find this kind of stuff like really fun instead of going out and do other stuff?” Maggie is not sold on it. Catastrovania looks down almost ashamed.“Fiction and Roleplaying are entertaining, yes.” You say without an ounce of shame. It’s a hobby like any other. “We could say the same about the activities you enjoy, Maggie.”“Well, I don’t know what this is like until we play. There is like a really good reason you two find this fun! So let’s do it!” Maggie has no clue what she’s getting into despite how much you two explain it to her.“You’re right, i-it’s better to experience it! It’s my dark fantasy OC setting!” Catastrovania just wants to play immediately. “Ehem! In the magical land of…” Catastrovania shakes her head. “No, I forgot! We gotta do some chargen first!”“What’s a cargwen…?” Maggie doesn’t get it.“She wants us to create a character.” You explain.“Wait, just one…?” Maggie doesn’t look pleased. “Can I have my own and Allie his? Wouldn’t that be better?”“I’ll allow it! Two players making decisions is just begging for ties!” Catastrovania seems in a good mood now that Maggie seems into it. “Tiebreakers are no fun! Not that I get many votes anyway…”“So this will be exactly like dnd.” You say.

Since you want to be having some plain old fun, you decided to play the most out-of-there character you can think of! Just to tease those two! You have the perfect idea: “I want to be a half elf bard.” You respond with confidence. “I’m quite talkative and eccentric.”“W-What’s your name?” Catastrovania wasn’t expecting that answer. Maggie raises her eyebrow as well.“They know me by the name El Smooth.” Maggie explodes into laughter. You’re not exactly sure why she finds it so funny. As Maggie regains her composure, Catastrovania asks her what her character is going to be. Maggie wasn’t sure what her options were, so your QM had to help her with examples. Now Maggie has a clear idea of what she wants: “I want to be a super cool wizard human girl!” Maggie looks more excited than ever. “She’s a woman of few words, reserved and intelligent! Her name is Inelle!”Catastrovania is shocked once again, she blinks quite a few times before starting to talk again. “T-That’s good! Ehem… Let’s start, shall we?”[You’re slowly entering the quest…] In the magical realm of Degophus! Where DARKNESS has fallen and crime has risen. HOPE seemingly has disappeared. He hands over your beginner level equipment and some gold coins to spare, and thanks you for putting your lives in danger to save Icarus City. He takes his leave. You still need to traverse the GLUM FOREST before getting to the GIANT EVIL CASTLE OF DARKNESS and crime. Obviously your objective is to lay down your charms on the trees! You start playing your music to a devastating effect as the trees are charmed by your abilities! Yes, half of the trees in the forest were creatures known as Treants! They helped you both across the forest safely and dropped you in front of the castle! “Woooooah!” Inelle is one happy wizard. “I m-mean, hmph, that’s all you got?” The castle is within your reach…! (Outside of game note: Maggie found the interaction very amusing! But that isn’t helping get into the game just yet. Catastrovania looks a little irked you managed to skip of her campaign, despite this being her idea – she’s happy you went to the castle though.) What do you do? >Write In.

Maggie turn for sure.
(Outside of game note: You nod at Maggie indicating it’s her turn to act. She shakes her head and comes up with something!) “I’ll show you how it’s done!” Irene shows her resolution! She creates a massive fireball and destroys the main door of the castle!“I’m in awe of your abilities, but what’s really breathtaking is your beauty, Inelle!”“F-Flattery won’t work on me, half-elf.” Inelle storms off and goes inside the castle alone! You couldn’t let this pass, so you trailed behind her!
>>3619789Inside the GIANT EVIL CASTLE OF DARKNESS and crime, both of you are welcomed by the MASTERMIND of CHAOS! The one who kidnapped the princess! Looking from the 2nd floor, you two see the DARK BEAST RETSIELA. “Many of you fools have come far, but this is where it ends now! Hahaha!” The mask wearing half human and half monster says. “Just look around!” You see DREAD and CORPSES all around! But more importantly a MINOTAURUS with a giant mace! (Outside of game note: The moment you called Maggie’s character “a beauty” she stared at you emptily, then blinked a few times before continuing – making the interaction incredibly awkward. After that, she stopped talking in 3rd person.) What do you do?! >Write In.

(Outside of game note: Catastrovania started smirking when he saw your nat 1.) The moment you decided to use your Vicious Mockery, you felt one of the corpses grabs your leg, as you try to shake it off – the giant mace from the MINOTAUR smashes your head and makes it explode! You’re DEAD! (Outside of game note: Maggie also rolled pretty badly. Catastrovania pretended to be disappointed, but you could see her vicious smile of satisfaction.) Inelle in one desperate attempt to avenge her fallen partner tries to fire another fireball! But she was so distracted she didn’t notice the living corpses restraining her as well, covering her mouth in the process! The MINOTAUR grabs the defenseless witch and presents it to RETSIELA, who proclaims:
>>3620004“With this spell, I’ll seal all your magical abilities! Now minions, drop her inside the prison cell with the princess! She will be my play toy from now on!” He laughs as a magical seal appears on Inelle’s tummy! “Now I hope you enjoy getting tickled for the rest of times! MUAHAHAHAHA!” Sadly this is the end of the tale for our two heroes, but they weren’t the first to fail this mission before and sure won’t be the last! The End? [End of Quest] It’s night again, you spend the whole day playing this campaign, you had a short bathroom and food breaks – but aside from that, it was all fantasy realm time! “Woah! It can end just like that?!” Maggie got pretty into it at the end there, but now she’s heartbroken.“Yep! Bad endings are a thing! That’s what Dark Fantasy is all about!” Catastrovania smiles.“I’m sorry, Inelle…” Maggie seems pretty down now. Her character wasn’t smashed on the skull with a fuckin’ mace, what’s she complaining about? “D-Did you guys l-like it?” Catastrovania seems eager to hear your opinions, almost with a childlike attitude. You don’t think she’s going to be too keen on criticism. What do you say? >“I can’t believe you just killed my character just because of one bad roll…”>“It was fun. I liked it. “It was fun. I liked it. Good job, Cat.” One little part of you enjoyed this, so you think it’s something to write home about.Catastrovania visibly rise under your praise. You take the chance to headpat her for morale. She reacts better than expected! “T-thanks! But this is n-nothing! Still, I t-think this is one of my best so far. I was testing some risky stuff, like I didn’t know how you were going to react with a bad ending… But it all went well!” With this mentioned you both turn to Maggie, who judging by her face, isn’t exactly reassuring for an “it all went well” scenario Catastrovania is depicting. “I wish I got the hang of it sooner, maybe Inelle would’ve survived…” Maggie is disappointed in herself.“There, there…” You tap her on her shoulder and hug her by the side. You didn’t think she would react like this.“You didn’t like it…?” Catastrovania shyly moves away. “No! I did like it! I just got too attached…” Maggie blushes.Catastrovania looks astonished, it feels like this is the first time someone got super passionate about something she wrote – so her face is showing a mixture of joy and surprise. “This is cool…” “This is not cool! I look like a super idiot right now!” Maggie doesn’t like Cat’s comments. She briefly checks her phone for the first time since the whole session began. “Ohmygosh! Look at the time!”“Time to go to sleep, girls. Remember our routine.” You acknowledge it is pretty late now.“I get to go jogging all morning! I get to play these tabletop things! I get all sappy! What are you two doing to me…? Sheesh…” Maggie pouts. “I-I’m s-sorry…” Catastrovania apologizes.“Take a hint, Catastrovania Strifaust Morituros IX! I never said I wasn’t having fun! You should’ve said ’it’s good for you’ or ’I didn’t see you complaining before’” It’s the first time Maggie talks to Cat like that, despite hoq she bugs you like that all the time.“Pfftt… I foresaw that response ages ago and decided not to play your petty games!” Catastrovania goes back to being weird. Both girls are smiling at least. (Forgot to add: You gained +2 Charisma Experience Points for successfully playing a DnD campaign.)Before making a decision about what to do tomorrow, you decided to check social media to see what’s going on in Laoling and if the cursed video is still being circulated. Hold on… Catastrovania was going to tell you something about that before Spectralhound attacked you yesterday. You asked her now.“I-I didn’t t-totally forget or… or… or anything!” Catastrovania does another fake laugh as she starts searching for the information on her phone. “In all major platforms the video was taken down for graphic violence and stuff.” Cat gives the bad news.“It didn’t create any ruckus or something?”“Seems to have given bad rep to your favorite guy, the Aleister guy.”“You mean Retsiela?”“W-What do you mean? Hohoho…” Catastrovania plays dumber than usual. “Whatever commotion was created, it already faded away – too quickly I might add. There are some comments complaining about deleted posts, so it's likely it got some fuss but we missed it…”“Maggie, anything on your end?” You ask the ditsy girl, she’s the gossipy one after all.“Naah…” Maggie disappoints you. Not even with Aleister involved? You thought her school was all over him, maybe they somehow managed to hide it. But how? That doesn't matter for now.“Before we call the day. Maggie, tomorrow you decide what we do. Can’t take all day though, I need to go to work.” You want to work at the bar tomorrow.“Sweet! I’ll come up with something!” Maggie giggles in excitement. All for morale…And so it was time for you to sleep…[DAY 10/TUESDAY]You gained +2 Fitness experience points for doing your morning exercises.Your new morning routine was a breeze again and this time you only needed to briefly carry one of them back! Maggie was able to complete the full course, but Catastrovania gave up 3/4 in it, it’s her new record! You’re proud of the girls’ efforts! Morale is something you need to put attention to if these are going to be the results you’re netting from now on.The unoriginal Maggie couldn’t come up with something interesting to do, so you're going on a trip to the beach! It seems like last time none of the girls had fun in the water, Maggie was busy earning money somehow and Catastrovania was enjoying drawing...For some reason, Maggie made you go alone first with the stuff. So you’re waiting here on the sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it’s everywhere. The day seems pretty good for a nice day on the beach, and not many people are here right now, so that’s good…Finally, both girls appeared wearing their swimsuits. Maggie is prancing around with a smile on her face, while Catastrovania shyly tries not to gather any attention.
>>3622665“So what do you think?” Maggie spins around to give you a nice look. What do you respond?>“Looking good, Maggie.”>“Looking cute there, Cat.”>“Is this the reason I had to wait alone here?”>“What’s the plan now?”>Write In.

>>3622667>“Looking good, Maggie.”
“Looking cute there, Cat.” Engage teasing. Maybe a double play if Maggie gets mad for ignoring her.“Ngh…! Ah? Ah? Aaaah?!” Catastrovania’s entire face turns red as she’s panicking. “Nnnaaah!” All of a sudden she kicks the sand onto your face! “Aagh…” Right in the eyes, shit. You don’t deserve this. “God damn it…”“Hahaha!” Maggie starts laughing.“My eyes… Can’t see shit…” It hurts. You blink quickly, trying to regain your sight, but it’s not working... “I-I’m s-sorry!” Catastrovania apologizes as she now realizes the damage she’s done. Maggie hands Cat a water bottle to help you out. After this little incident, you asked Maggie what the plan is. She smiled and told you “to enjoy the beach, silly.” Then dragged you both to the sea. You want to jump over the waves, but the girls preferred playing somewhere they can still stand. Shame. Splash wars look way entertaining in media than in real life, it’s like for some reason the goddamn salt water keeps falling on your eyes. Obviously, your horrendous team is 2v1ing you, you overcame this difference through sheer determination. Eventually Catastrovania got tired (as expected) and wants to go back for a towel, there is no stopping her at this point. Maggie pouts expecting her to put more effort into playing more. What do you do? >Stay and ask Maggie what she wants to do next. It’s her activity after all.>Go back with Catastrovania. There is nothing else to do here anyway.>Write In.

“I’ve never seen someone get tired that quickly.” Maggie is in awe at Catastrovania’s grandma stamina.“Hey, what do we do now?” You obviously would destroy her if you keep playing splash wars, so you need to do something else.“Uuh… Do you think Catastrovania Strifaust Morituros IX would want to come with us for some ice cream?” Maggie wonders. “I want some! Besides I love when you pamper me!” “You don’t need to call her by her full name when she’s not around.” You look at Catastrovania barely moving near your stuff. “Regardless, I have my doubts…”“Bleh, then like let’s wait for later.” Maggie doesn’t seem to mind.“Now that I think about it, there is still ice cream at home so it won’t be necessary.” Your cabin is closer than the store anyway. “Booo! I knew you would say something like that, Allie!” Maggie pouts.“Hey, hey… We don’t have too much money to spare...”“You’re right…” Maggie looks rather sad. This activity was to raise morale and it’s not rising! “Let’s walk around the beach instead. Just the two of us, there is something I want to talk about…”“Sure.” You two start walking around the beach, the waves keep hitting you on the feet. It’s a little annoying. “What do you want to talk about?”“I’m gonna be honest, the last few days I’ve tried to talk about this, but each time… I like… get very afraid.” Maggie is getting strangely serious for the situation you’re in. “So promise me you won’t get mad at me, alright? Like I’m super serious! This is no joke! I-If you get mad I’ll s-stab you too!” What do you respond? >“Just talk.”>“I promise I won’t retaliate or seek revenge.”>“So you were lying to me before?” You don’t know what, but it’s about something, right?>Write In.

“I promise I won’t retaliate or seek revenge.” That should be good enough.“…I just don’t want you to hate me.” Maggie doesn’t like your deal.“Take it or leave it.” You won’t compromise. “You always have to put me on edge, huh?” Maggie tries to smile but you can feel the hopelessness. “Sure, Allie. I’ll take it...”“So what is it?”“Did you ever found out who told everyone...?” Maggie looks away, but musters the courage to look at you again. “About your mom…?” ...
>>3623079Almost 10 years ago, when you were still a kid, two weeks before mother’s day, you and your three friends were coming back from school. When you went inside your home that day, you saw your mother hanging from the ceiling… your mother… Your mother killed herself. Your friends saw it too, they all panicked and ran away. You didn’t blame them… If you could, you would have too. But you just stood there, staring at your mother lingering over the floor, she looked lonely so you felt like you had to stay with her. Several hours later, your dad came back and dealt with everything properly… Dad pretended in front of everyone your mother just had a heart attack, no one knew the truth but you, your father and your friends. In a bizarre way, this became a pact between you and your friends. You didn’t want anyone to know the truth, it was too personal, it wasn’t something you wanted to share. You all agreed, they weren’t going to tell their parents either, it became the biggest secret all of you were going to keep. You don’t remember her funeral. You barely remember what happened at all at that point. What you can recall was your friends coming to visit you every day despite your zombie-like attitude, they did everything they could to cheer you up and managed somehow. It was almost magical. In a week, you were thinking you could continue going. It was almost like nothing changed… But a few days later after your reintegration, your dumbass teacher wanted everyone to make a present for Mother’s Day. All your friends simultaneously turned to you horrified when they heard it, but you didn’t mind, you wanted to make this present. This random ornament with her name on it.
>>3623083Your dad told you your mother’s death was his fault and no one else’s. He didn’t take care of your mother properly, he let her feel lonely, and when your brain can’t keep up with it loneliness takes you away from your loved ones. That’s all bullshit to you now, but when you were a kid it resonated with you. If she felt so lonely, it was your fault too, not only your dad’s. You wanted to amend for making your mother feel that way, so you wanted to give her a gift for her grave. To remind her even though she isn’t here with you, she doesn’t have to be lonely because you will always think of her and one day you’ll be together in heaven. So the teacher made everyone work in pairs so everyone can share their stuff. Despite being the son of the owner of a convenience store, you didn’t have much to offer (thanks dad), so your partner was furious and complained to the teacher. Her name was Siske, a snobby good-for-nothing bitch. There was no better way to put it… Siske kept screaming about not wanting to share with you to your teacher, how unfair it was she had to be with you! That anyone but you will be better! How everything she will give you will be wasted! Your teacher, tired of her nagging, told her one day maybe you will return the favor, and to think this isn’t a present for him, but for your mother – she interrupted him with these words: “It would be a waste, isn’t his mother dead?!” The annoyed Siske yelled back. The room went completely silent. The teacher didn’t know what to say, he stared at you trying to decipher your expression to tell if this is true or not. But you instead stood up for yourself despite the lingering sensation that something was wrong. “So what? I want to give her a present anyway!” Siske cruelly smirked at you and said: “Didn’t she kill herself? Why would she want anything from you?”
>>3623086You remember being overflown by rage as she started laughing, you wanted to shut her stupid face up. You took the pen you were holding and stabbed her on the hand. It felt good, it felt really good. Blood started to come out of her hand as she hysterically started screaming… It didn’t dawn on you until this horrendous cacophony started… But how did she know? Who told her? Your friends betray you…? While the teacher took Siske away to the infirmary, you turn to see your friends that were as puzzled as you are, they looked at each other like their eyes could reveal who the culprit was… But you never knew... Even after talking about it, none of them admitted it, even after you begged them to you the truth so you could trust them again, but nothing. You still were friends, but it was never going to be the same… From that point, you weren’t willing to open up with someone who wasn’t your father ever again... Oh, also you got suspended for that. But who gives a shit at this point?

“No. I never did.” Judging by her face, it wasn’t the response she wanted to hear. “Does it matter? I would have ended up the same either way. My friends and I drifted apart in the end. Nothing ever changes.”“T-That’s like super sad.” Maggie looks concerned. “But…”“But what?” Maggie is uncomfortable. She stops walking all of a sudden, looks away then back at you. “But are you sure you really don’t want to find out?”You stop walking as well. “Maggie…” You give her a stern look, you just told her it doesn’t matter. It was so long ago, it’s kind of ridiculous to bring this up to them and try to find the truth after all these years. “D-Don’t forget your promise…!” Maggie looks afraid of you, she makes a step back for her own security.“Are you really that afraid of me you need to keep saying that…?” You don’t get it at this point. It’s tiresome. Perhaps building trust with her was a waste of time.“Allie, I-I’m s-s-sorry. You know I’m stupid sometimes…” A guilty Maggie responds. “B-But I’m asking ‘cause I know who did it. “Tell me, please.” Those words came out with a bitter taste. “No, I’m not going to ask or demand the answer, tell me when you want to tell me.”“Allie…” Maggie’s look of pity is not something you’ve seen before.“Don’t stay there, let’s keep walking.” It already feels awkward as it is.“Uuh, right…” Maggie gets by your side. “Allie, all of them did. Well, kinda…”Not the answer you were expecting but the one you were assuming for so long, it doesn’t create the shock anyone normal would’ve expected from you.“…” You barely react like previously stated.“I was at the park that day ‘cause my house was locked again, I was playing by the seesaw when I saw all your friends running and panicking. I approached them because I had like absolutely nothing to do. They grabbed me before I could say hi and asked me if I knew a doctor or some shit, that Allie’s mom was in trouble, that she was hanging from the ceiling… I didn’t get it at all, so all I could do was stare at them... Then they ran off, don’t know where... I was pretty confused.” Maggie explains. “Next day, you all four were absent… I was still really curious, so I asked my friends if they knew what happened to you all…”You don’t like where this is going.
>>3625401“Didn’t know a thing either! So I asked them what happens when a person hangs from the ceiling. Siske asked what I was talking about, and I explained what happened with your friends. The day after that I think Siske put two and two together…” Maggie looks down. “Later, after your incident with Siske, we were the ones who spread the information around the school, it was like our payback. It was until a couple of years ago when your friends confronted me that I really like understood what I’ve done... Since then I’ve been trying to say sorry to you, but I’m kinda like a coward… But after being bullied I like understood how you felt, so that was when I was set on apologizing. But when we saw each other again, I felt too awkward and scared. So I wanted to be closer to you. Pretend we were friends, so you wouldn’t hurt me when I told you the truth. That’s it. I’m sorry, Allie! Please don’t hate me!!!”Maggie is now panicking but keeping still, like waiting for her sentence to be dictated. What do you do?>“So you play "pretend to be my friend" just to apologize? But the dude’s usually pretty calm and rational, but also seems to get really heated when it comes to family matters.

>>3625431Yeah. Seriously this isn’t something you just forgive on the spot.

“Can I have some time alone to think about this?” You want to make a rational decision.“Allie, I… It’s not like… You see I… I wasn’t… I wasn’t…” Maggie is panicking now.“Please.” Maggie quietly nods as her words didn’t make any sense. I thought Laetitia scared you for good!” Camilo jokes.“A job is a job.”“Indeed. Would be nice if we could be picky, haha.” Camilo chuckles. “But it’s rather nice to have someone dependable around here, I know you didn’t come working yesterday, but Mondays are slow days anyway.”“And Tuesdays are not?”“It’s up to the owner to decide in all honesty.” Camilo’s distant stare tells the whole story. “So change in the back! Oh, almost forgot, first tell me what shift you are planning on doing, to see if I should teach some extra drinks or not. We were gonna get out of here after a couple days of fun and replenishing our funds though right? And, when we get back, we should just ask Maggie if she considers herself our friend.

“I’ll deal with Laetitia again.” You’re basically friends at this point anyway.“I know she will love to hang out with you. She’s been very upbeat since your encounter the other day, but don’t take it for granted, it’s only been a couple of days.” Despite his warning, he looks rather happy just thinking about that. “Still, we need to practice a couple of new drinks, Laetitia might be a foolish customer – but I have a hunch our VIP isn’t going to be as lenient.” Camilo smiles as he takes some bottles to start practicing the enigmatic arts of mixing drinks After your practice, you changed into your uniform (?). Shortly afterwards, the bar officially open for the day. You helped Camilo with the regular clientele with no issues, until the VIP clients arrived. It’s a couple; a strange looking individual, you cannot make out how old he is, he doesn’t look too comfortable around his date, a pushy out-of-shape girl that is vaguely familiar to you. The girl went to the bathroom before you could examine her further. The man sighs as he sits in front of you and the barstool… Before your client says anything, you remind yourself that making your client’s happy will net you more tips… “Salutations…” The man said with a high pitched voice. “Oh, you’re new...” He looks even more dejected now.“Good afternoon, sir. Is there anything troubling you?” You politely ask.“I’m in quite a pickle… But how rude of me, let me introduce myself, my name is Ugolino.”“I’m Alfred, sir.”
>>3625714“Alfred, I need your help. You probably weren’t informed of this, but I’m not your regular drinking enthusiast...”“I understand you’re a VIP client, sir.”“Yes, but that’s not what I’m getting at.” Ugolino shakes his head. “If you help me out, I promise a hefty pay.” You nod before pressing him to explain himself even further. “It’s about my date, you see. I’m terrible at judging women. She’s quite attached to me right now, but I fear it is only because of my little fortune I’ve gathered. As you can see I’m not what you would call a hunk...” More like a skunk. “Apologies, it’s not pertinent of me to comment on such things.”“Yet this is why I need you. I’m quite a shy man as well, so canceling this date at this point is impossible for me. So the plan I’ve always gone for here is to intoxicate my date so I can leave unscathed. With alcohol, of course. I’ll pay before leaving as well, so don’t worry about that. This isn’t my first rodeo here.”“…” You silently judge him for a few seconds then say: “Quite talkative for a shy man, sir.”“Well, you haven’t seen me drunk! I get out of my shell quite a bit.”
>>3625716“So you want me to get your date drunk?”“Well yes and no. Depends. It’s up to you! I believe in a stranger’s judgment better than mine. If you think she’s not a problem, please serve me as many drinks as you want – but if you feel she’s quite poisonous… Well…” He gives you piercing glance, then suddenly relaxes. “You’re new and we didn’t discuss this on time, so I don’t want you to put you on the spot like that.”“That’s already too late, sir.”He sighs loudly again in response. Seemingly on cue, his date appears and sits next to him, now you give her a good look and you recognize her now. The extra weight threw you off but that’s Siske, no doubt about it by the looks of her hand, she’s so focused on flirting with Ugolino she hasn’t even recognized you… What’s the plan now? >Ignore this dilemma and serve them as you would with anyone else.>Give Ugolino a bigger drink.>Give Siske a bigger drink.>Write In.(Last Reply of the day, we continue Friday.)

“What would you like to drink?” Can’t serve them without knowing.“Whatever Ugolino is drinking!” Siske doesn’t seem to be paying any attention to you still, pressing her body towards the weird looking guy.“Uhm… Just beer for now.” Ugolino is not reciprocating Siske’s affection but he’s blushing slightly, he’s more concerned on how you’re going to deal with this than anything.“Don’t tell me we came here just to drink the ol’ fashioned way? Well, that’s the down-to-earth Ugolino that I know and love!” Those backhanded compliments tell you she hasn’t changed one bit. “Yes, sir.” You grab the biggest glass you have and a regular one, it’s pretty obvious what goes to who. You serve them their drinks. Both are astonished at the side of the glass of beer you gave to Siske, you’re using the leverage of the drink to hide yourself from her, so she doesn’t recognize you... “What’s with the humongous side…?” Despite the indignant tone of her voice, Siske is salivating at the sight of this magnificent beer.“Mr. Ugolino wanted to show you he wasn’t being cheap with his selection.” You clarify. Ugolino is caught off guard by your comment.“I-Is that right? You don’t want to get scammed by a lowlife bartender in the middle of nowhere…”“Y-Yes…” Ugolino sounds far more timid responding to Siske’s question than when he talked to you. “D’Awww, you didn’t have to! But I love when you give me stuff!” She kisses Ugolino in the cheek. Ugolino seems over the moon now. “Let’s enjoy ourselves now! Wooo!" Siske starts drinking without a second thought.“Y-Yes…” Ugolino sounds like a broken record as he takes a sip of his normal-sized beer.
>>3629896Siske suddenly stopped once 1/5 of her drink has gone inside her body. Siske’s bubbly fake smile dissipates as soon as Ugolino is gone, she turns to you pouting. “Hmph, you thought I wouldn’t recognize you, right?” Siske looks pissed. “What’s up with the drink? “I just follow orders.” Not a lie.“Yeah, like he would come out with something this fishy.” Siske ain’t buying it.“Ask Mr. Ugolino, he’s the one that’s spoiling you.” You dryly respond. “In my opinion, Mr. Ugolino actually is trying to be kind with you.” “Of course he is...” Siske glares at you. Nope, she’s buying nothing of what you’re saying. “Just be professional today, alrighty? I’m not trying to get on your bad side today.”“So tell me, what do you actually think about that guy?”“Pffft… Yeah… Not. Gonna. Tell. Ya. If Ugolino wants to hear it, those words need to come out of my mouth, Allie.” She sounds as spiteful as ever. “Unlike my friends, I know when to shut up.” Just by saying that she’s giving you a lot of information, you don’t need to be smart to read the title of a book… “Now take this thing away from me, I can barely hold it in my hands. After taking the beer away, you decided to give Siske a sugary drink – so she doesn’t get suspicious. “Looks fairly normal…” Siske gives it a good look, then drinks it – looked like she enjoyed it. “Ugh, that’s a total DUD. So sugary I think you gave my teeth cavities… Not great, Allie. Try harder.”“Do you want another one?” This would help Ugolino and “redeem” yourself.“How, from everything I just told you, do you infer I want another one of those?” Siske pouts. “I can tell you are new at this. So slow, so sloppy.” “My mistake.” You try to be as professional as you can.“…Not getting angry? No backhanded comments? Nothing you want to throw at me? I’m all ears.” Siske just said she didn’t want to be on your bad side, but now she’s pushing your buttons. You just shrug in response. “Woah, look at you, a complete professional.” Siske’s smile is all but real. “Pathetic that your meticulously made drink is worse than regular beer though, ruins the charade you’re trying to keep up.”
>>3630189As you were thinking about asking Siske again what she wants, Ugolino is back! “Welcome back!” Siske is smiling again, trying her best to look cute.“H-Hi, what did you d-drink?”“Oh, something as sweet as my smile!”“That’s good…” Ugolino smiles and stares at you, like he thinks you’re taking a liking to Siske, a misunderstanding really. But my pancake here… Uhm… I seem to have forgotten. Can you tell me what it was again?” Ugolino looks at the plump woman. He isn’t nervous anymore.“T-That won’t b-be necessary! J-Just give me a regular drink…” Siske appears slightly nervous as she tries to hide it with a smile. “Nonsense. I want my beautiful lady to have the best of the best.”“If you wanted that we wouldn’t be here…” Siske throws a shade at the bar.“Excuse me…?” Ugolino looks fairly offended.“I m-meant I’m trying to make you happy sweetheart! I don’t care what I drink here!” Siske’s fake smile is good enough to charm the ugly man again. “I’m curious now, what drink is it?” You intervene now.Siske wanted to cut you off, but Ugolino realized something: “I remember! It’s a Gin Fizz, right?”“…Y-Yes.” An embarrassed Siske starts drooling, she tries to hide her face – but it’s already too late. “Then the biggest Gin Fizz you can make and some good old beer, please!” Ugolino places his order. Siske seems eager for her drink like a child waiting for Christmas, she’s not hiding it anymore! But there is a problem… You don’t know how to make Gin Fizz. “Sadly, I don’t know how to make this drink.” You are honest.“What a bummer! Honestly, this is terrible! This is supposed to be VIP service, right? Ugolino, why are you doing business in this joint? We should go back to the hotel and have some real fun…” Siske kisses the man on the neck, he turns to her and Siske jiggles her breasts to charm him! Ugolino is in trance, but you break the spell:“I do know who can make it. Please hold on for a second.” You smirk as Ugolino shakes his head and turns back to normal. Siske wasn’t one bit pleased. You went for Camilo and asked him the favor! Good thing he was free to lend a hand. Ugolino and Camilo know each other so they have a little chat as Camilo was getting the ingredients ready, nothing out of the ordinary. Camilo took the opportunity to teach how to do it as well: a Gin Fizz is a simple drink, a mix of gin, lemon, sugar, egg and soda. It’s not a small drink at all. Since you were following step-by-step on how he was doing it in another glass, well, you have two Gin Fizzes for Siske... “It’s good to know they still have someone reliable.” Ugolino looks pleased with Camilo’s help to your detriment.“Please, this is Alfred’s 2nd shift, don’t be too hard on him.” Camilo seems like a nice guy.“Apologies, ignore my thoughtless comments. Indeed, the service has been superb.” Ugolino feels bad about what he said.“No need to apologize, sir.” You respond by staying professional, after dealing with Siske this is nothing in comparison. “Here is your drink, madam.” Camilo hands it to Siske. She just rudely takes it… “Uh… I’ll be in the front now, enjoy your drink.” Camilo left a little irked after that.“Hey Pancake, you don’t need to act like that…” Ugolino is slightly concerned by his partner’s attitude. He’s drinking the beer you serve him. Siske is just staring at her drink. “Ugolino… I’m sorry… It’s just…” She starts chugging her drink very quickly without finishing her sentence.“Hey babe. If something is bothering you, please tell me…” Ugolino sounds far more understanding than his cowardly self did not too long ago.As Siske finishes her drink, she stays put for a second then her drunk rant begins: “Ugolino… Why the fuck don’t you even listen to me? I know it’s been just a month, but you know I’m fucking perfect for you… I let you do whatever you want, like just look at me… isn’t it time for you to do the same?” She now drinks the Gin Fizz you made. She sits on Ugolino’s lap, the man in question is paralyzed and red as a tomato. Siske is officially really drunk now! “Get serious… Let’s go to the bathroom and…” She starts giggling. As Ugolino continues to be groped by Siske, you make the quickest Gin Fizz you’ve ever made, not much of an accomplishment if you take into account this is the second one you made. Either way, it’s time to fool the thick girl away from the skinny fellow. “Siske, here’s another Gin Fizz…”“Can’t you see I’m busy…?” Siske barks back. She turns and sees the fabulous drink you made, without a second thought she takes it from you and starts chugging it... “Nice…” Siske’s eyes are barely open… She stops struggling and is losing balance on Ugolino. The ugly man takes this chance and carries her to the unoccupied Karaoke couch a little way behind them. Siske at this point is more asleep than awake. Feels like the mission is complete. “ZzZzZZzzz…” Siske is asleep. It’s a total victory.“Hey… Thanks…” Ugolino is a little bit drunk as well. “I’m a little torn with what just happened, the other 2 girls I dated weren’t as committed as she was. Siske really did let me do everything I wanted and agreed to my most outlandish requests. She wore the clothes I wanted, I picked her hairstyle, her style of make-up and she even gained weight for me. But she wanted to settle down after a month, always had her nose in my business ventures, and almost stole my credit card… In the end, I couldn’t trust her. But I’m gonna miss that sexy body.” Ugolino explains way too late… “Anyway, The Flux never disappoints… I’m gonna leave now. How much do I owe you?”
>>3630564Ugolino pays for the drinks and a hefty, hefty, HEFTY tip. You got 3000 bucks! You gained +2 Charisma Experience Points for dealing with these two. You gained +3 Courage Experience Points for dealing with Siske without getting angry. “T-Thanks.” That’s too much money for what you did. Or maybe not. Who knows?“I’m sorry it’s not enough…” Ugolino apologizes. “But here, this is my number. You seem reliable, so if you need any help, just call.”“Alright.” This is neat. “So what do I do with your date?”“I don’t know. I always let you guys handle that…” “I’ll ask around…” This isn’t the first drunk at the bar, so there must be a protocol.“…Thank you again.” Ugolino leaves the bar. … Shift is done basically. (Post quality might be iffy for a while.)You can’t consider your shift done without formally getting paid! You approach Camilo to let him know. He didn’t seem busy as most of the clientele is gone at this point. After handing you your pay (50 Bucks), he mentions his shift ends in an hour. “What’s the protocol with dealing with drunk people?” Time to know Siske’s fate.“Kick them out. What else? How this place doesn’t have a bouncer is beyond me…” Camilo looks a little bit confused then he reminds himself of an important detail. “Oh right, this is one of Ugolino’s date and she’s blackout drunk, I don’t think you would be comfortable with that – you don’t look like that type of guy…”“Didn’t you serve Ugolino before? What did you do back then?”“Fortunately for me, Laetitia was around both times, she sometimes goes out of her way to make our female customers feel comfortable. Maybe we should ask her?” “She never explicitly tell you what to do then?”“I’m afraid not. My plan in the back then was to drop them at the homeless shelter if that helps you with anything. Again never had the chance to do it. Maybe you should try to wake her up and drop her outside…?” Camilo tries to be helpful. “The only thing that matters to us is that she leaves the establishment…”“I see.”“The only favor I’m going to ask is that you don’t leave this to me, please… I have a lot on my plate today.” Camilo asks politely. “But I could help at the end of my shift, don’t want to make you overwork either...”

“Relax, I’ll can deal with her.” You make your decision. “I’m going to call Laetitia now.”“Cool, if you need anything, I’ll be right here.” Camilo relaxes, showing you how much he didn’t want to deal with this situation. You walk to the back of the bar, where you change clothes, to make the call. You loudly sigh before dialing Laetitia’s number. After she picks up, you explain the situation you are currently in with Siske. “Tch… Ugolino didn’t inform me this time. Ugh… Maybe he called me while I was sleeping. He looked quite desperate, right?” Laetitia appears to have just woken up.“Kind of, yes.”“That spineless ratface man is pathetic. How hard can it be to reject a woman? Can he just man up for once…?” Laetitia sounds grumpy. “Alfred, good on you on for calling me for this, you have a good head on your shoulders. Leaving a girl out to the streets with all the creeps out there makes me shudder.”“What do I do, ma’am?” You bring her back to the issue at hand. “Right. I don’t mind you or Camilo knowing this, you’ve proven your worth – in the barstool, there is a key…” She briefly explains the location of this key. “…Use it to open the door to my ‘office.’ It’s not really an office, it’s just a bedroom I use when I’m too drunk to drive home. It’s big enough for two people, so if you want to fool around… I’m kidding! I’m kidding!” She didn’t sound like she was joking. “There is nothing else in there except for a message for the drunk girl with my phone number on. Drop this poor girl in there and make sure she’s fine, understood? When you leave, lock the door. I’ll be at The Flux as soon as I can tomorrow, so leave everything else to me.”“Sure.” Uh, easier than dropping her outside.“I’m trusting you, Alfred. Kisses!” She hangs up. … You walk back to the barstool to take the key. Now in front of Siske, you are wondering how to carry her... What do you do? >She looks heavy. You wonder how heavy one drunk woman can be. She looks like the heaviest individual you’re going to carry that isn’t your dad in a coffin. Time to find out… Now you sit her on the couch; facing away from her, you grab her hands and put them around your neck – then you grab her legs and carry her up. Her weight makes you appreciate how easy it is to carry Maggie and Catastrovania. It’s not that bad though, and her body feels quite soft… Before taking her away, you loudly inform Camilo you are taking her to the back where she can sleep – gathering the attention of those who are present. You now have witnesses that you’re not trying anything funny. Siske moves a little after you start making some noise, she basically gets herself comfortable on your back, she still asleep… You bring her in front of the office. It took you a few extra seconds than it should have taken, but you manage to take the key from your pocket and open the door. She almost fell down, but you salvage the situation. Like Laetitia said, this room has nothing but a bed and the message framed up the wall – it says something to the drunk girls about not to panic, that she blacked out, call this number and yadda yadda… Finally, you drop Siske’s body on the bed… As you make your way out of the room, you hear her say something: “Allie… Where is Ugolino…?” Siske sounds in pain. Without giving her an answer, you finally leave the room and lock the door. Obviously, you cannot let her go in this state. Also if she roams free she will probably steal some of the liquor. You come back to the bar section, nobody who remained here seem concerned or anything, which is a little bit odd with how much Siske shouted. As you step away from The Flux, you realize your pockets feel awfully light. Hold on a second, where is your cash?! That gold digger was awfully close to you! She must’ve stolen it! God damn it, the moment you felt you were done with her for good, she pulls this on you. Sadly, you need to go back to Siske! You pop inside the bar and go in a straight path towards your objective to Camilo’s slight surprise, he didn’t say anything to you directly, but he told one of the last patrons you probably forgot something. Maybe you need to give her a false sense of security and try to be nice enough for her to confess her crime. If she does come clean, you can spare yourself the trouble of even more drama today. That would be a win in your book.As you come back to the barstool for a glass of water, Camilo wonders if everything is going alright with Siske since this was supposed to be all done, you refrain from giving him details but ask him to be alert just in case. He sighs loudly and tells you he will be here until this is resolved. You walk back to the office with a glass of water in hand and gently knock on the door. This is Siske’s last chance…“Siske, I want to check on you one last time before I go. I have some water if you’re feeling thirsty or to help with your possible headache.” You calmly say but get no response. You believe she’s pretending to be asleep, but who knows? You gently knock again. “I do have to ask: It appears something went missing in the bar, something valuable. If you have any information about this please tell me immediately or else this issue will escalate and there will be consequences. I kindly remind you, despite today’s evidence showing otherwise, you are an adult and you will be treated as such by the authorities. We can spare the trouble if you come clean now…”You listen to Siske shuffling around inside the room. She’s awake and most likely panicking. She knows what she did and is trying to come up with a solution to her problem. You want to push the issue…What do you do?>“But before all that. Can I come in?” Keep the charade going.>“If you don’t respond in 10 seconds, I’ll be forced to call the police. 10… 9…” Put her on the spot.>Open the door. I don’t know what this is about, but shut up!” That’s one grumpy Siske. Strangely, the sounds she has been making this whole time continues. “I might not be the first lady you drop on a bed unsatisfied and I’m sure I’m not going to be the last. But you were the one who wanted me asleep!” Siske yawns. It sounded fake. “Why are you counting down, anyway?!” The noise she was making stops. Finally a response, but not the one I wanted to hear. “Do you know about the stolen item, yes or no?”“W-What stolen item? What are you babbling about? Come inside and explain it all to me… I can barely hear you from here.”“I’m not going to repeat myself.”“He-Hey, Allie. I’m super serious. I can’t help you if I can’t heeeear you. Just get inside. Siske wouldn’t know about the water if she was sleeping the whole time, not like you didn’t think she’s lying and scheming something otherwise. One last threat before getting “serious.”“Siske, one last chance before I call the police, do you know about the stolen item, yes or no?” You sound like a broken record.“Uhm… Uh… Uh…” Siske sounds like she’s panicking again. “Al-Al-Allie! I c-can’t hear you! Just o-open up!”If only she stole your phone too, how sad. You take your phone out and proceed to bluff a call to the police. Your charisma is high enough so this won’t be a problem. You sigh loudly as you pretend to dial the police. “Yes? Police?”“A-Allie, what are y-you doing?”“My name is Alfred Brown and I work on the Flux…”“Stop! No! No!”“Yes, that bar. I need to report on an attempt of theft… A dubious lady stole some money from the cash register… Yes, 3000 G more or less…”“A-Allie! I confess! I took your damn money! Luckily enough, it seems Camilo’s shift has ended as he tried to go back to the “locker room” but stopped because of the ear shattering scream, you motion to him to come over and ask him to be quiet. “…I didn’t hear you, what were you sorry for?” You asked Siske.“S-Sorry?!” Siske sounds offended as her sobbing stopped suddenly. “Grrrr… I’m sorry for stealing your money! Okay?! You happy?!” Camilo looks dumbfounded, he turns back to you. He’s confused, but you smirk and whisper everything is fine. “I said are you happy?! Are you even there?! Allie?! D-Did you leave for real?! NO! You piece of shit! You can’t do this! I’M SCARED! PLEASE!” Siske throws a tantrum, she’s bashing the door. “I APOLOGIZED! YOU ALREADY RUINED MY LIFE! It’s all your fault I’m like this! My life is in the fuckin’ dump and now you ruined the only ray of hope I had! Why did it have to be you?! Now I’ll fuckin’ die in prison!” How she bounces from hysterical shouting to indignant rant is quite frightening in its own way. “Wait! Allie! Tell me you didn’t call the cops! I-I’m a good girl! I beg you! Give me another chaaaaaaaaaaance!” Now she’s back to begging.“Calm down and let me think about it.” You express to the crying woman. Almost instantaneously, Siske stopped shouting, but she’s still sobbing. You turn to Camilo, who seems to want an explanation. “Let me explain…”You inform Camilo about the events that transpired today and that you and Siske not only know each other but hate each other! He looked fairly unimpressed and uncomfortable, but it seems he understood where you were coming from.“Just because you two have history together doesn’t mean this wouldn’t have diffused faster with the police involved…” Camilo brings the truth hammer with him. “Oh well, let’s try to snatch the money back, shall we?”“Right.” You turn to the door. “Siske, put the money next to the door and stand back as far as you can from it.”“Pro… Promise me you won’t press charges!” Siske shouts back.“I would, but I don’t think you will believe me anyway.”“Allie, this isn’t a joke, I’m fuckin’ terrified. Don’t do this to me. I’m leaving the money down, okay? You are hearing this? You don’t need to do anything! I’m not lying to you, okay? It’s by the door now! I’m walking away! Lalalala! Away from the door so you can take your money! All 3 thousand and something bucks! You hear me? Hahaha… I’m away on the very back of the room! I sound like I’m super far away, right? I’m being a good girl! Someone you can totally trust!” Siske’s narration matches the sounds she’s making. “Just please, please, please don’t throw me in jail! I’m so fuckin’ scared! I’m not fuckin’ jokin’… Please…” She starting to sound crazy.“Hand me the key.” Camilo asks and by the look on his face, he has a plan. You hand it to him and leave the glass of water behind you two. “At the count of three, I’ll open the door, you grab your stuff and I’ll close it immediately. This girl sounds unpredictable and we don’t want to risk it… How does that sound?”“Sounds good.”After the countdown ends, Camilo opens the door immediately! You leapt inside and tried to grab the money spilled down on the ground! Siske wanted to gain time with you picking this up for some reason! But your convenience store owner abilities shine and you amass back the money in almost an instant. You have your 3425 G back!
>>3639332Before you can declare yourself victorious, danger arises! Siske rushes forward like a wild boar and goes way too fast for someone her size! You instinctively try to block her from escaping, but you notice too late she wasn’t hightailing it to escape! She wants you! Siske firmly grasps your right leg with both arms, slowly she drops to the ground without letting you and says:“DON’T DO THIS TO MEEEEE! PLEEEEEASE!” She’s crying and begging! All bravado, all defiance, all dignity are gone! This is pathetic. You never saw her do something remotely like this! The Siske you knew was too prideful, too petty and too self-centered to ever admit defeat or apologize! Now she jumps straight to begging?! This is a new low! What do you do?>“Stop that! Before you can formulate a thoughtful response for this fiasco, you will check where her hands are, and keep an eye on them just in case. “Don’t press charges, I beg you…” She’s more focused in looking pathetic than for a second attempt to steal your money.“Siske… What the fuck? What happened to you?” This empathy thing is going to kill you one day…“It’s… It’s…” Siske can’t put her thoughts into words, but starts coughing. “If I… talk you won’t press charges, right?! Allie, I will tell you everything you want to know! Look at me, a poor scared girl like me isn’t capable of lying, right? You can feel me trembling, see? I’ll be a good girl! I’ll do anything!” She doesn’t know when to shut up, it’s just like someone you know... “Fine. Just calm down, will ya?” Siske finally seems to start to calm down, she’s still holding your leg though and mushes. “Aaah… So this is turning into a heart to heart now? Huh? Well she did drink a lot…” Camilo’s wry smile shows how unexpected this turn of events are, he leaves the door open and grabs the glass of water you left nearby. “Here, Alfred had this from before…”“…Can you bring me some booze instead? Do you even know how to treat a lady?” Siske rejects it. This girl…“I’ll refrain from answering that. I’m sure you understand how easy it is to turn that question around.” Camilo looks irked. “You sound just like my sister…” You take the glass from Camilo and hand it to Siske, you glare at her to get a clue and drink something good for her. “S-See? I wasn’t lying! I’m a good girl!” Siske is hard to trust. You want to carry her to the bed now, you move to do so. “Hey! Where are you touching?! That’s off limits!”“Just like my wallet, but you didn’t seem to care back then.”“Pig…” You would say likewise, but you want to spare the trouble. You carry Siske onto the bed again, then you sit. Camilo is resting next to the door. “Now explain to me your fall from grace.” You want to get this done.“That nerd over there, I want him gone. The money is the safest on us, where people will have to pry it from our cold dead hands.
You sigh loudly. Camilo seems to get this on the spot as he casually starts walking away. “Camilo, could you wait outside the room?” You ask politely. “But before you go, here…” You signal Camilo to approach and hand him your wallet with all your money.“Huuuh?!” Siske is a bit pissed again.“Are you sure? You have a lot of money there.” Camilo looks uncomfortable for 8th time today or something.“I trust you.” “…I’ll keep it safe then.” Camilo smiles. “Just keep in my mind it’s getting late you two.”“Tsk…” Siske frowns, giving Camilo a little chuckle. The petty woman glares at the man with glasses while covering her breasts. Camilo leaves the place and closes the door. You turn to Siske to finally hear what went wrong with her. “Don’t stare at me like that! He was totally ogling my boobs! You know because you’re a man as well. Never know when to stop. Well that’s the curse of having… these irresistible two. Right?” She makes them giggle for you. “Tch… The least you could do is to react. Isn’t this your second shift? How can you trust him that easily? I thought after being betrayed by all your friends you would have grown some common sense.” Siske looks irritated yet again. “Like I wonder how stupid you really are.”“Stupid enough to hear your story instead of doing the sensible thing and call the cops.” “D-Don’t take it the wrong way! I-I was just super worried about you! I know better than anyone what it’s like being taken advantage of! Maybe with some WATER I can clean my face! Let’s go, you denser idiot.” She tries to stand up but it’s a little bit dizzy. You stare at her wobbling around for a second, then the sheets, you spit on the sheets when she isn’t looking. Now you ask her to come closer to clean her up. Despite her tantrum and skepticism. She gets closer… You clean up with the sheets and the makeup is gone. “See, it all came off.” You show her the sheets being entirely back.“…Why are the sheets were moist?”“It’s cute how the little piggy in front of me pretends she doesn’t sweat.”“Fu… Fuck you.” Siske is embarrassed. “But I’m a good girl now, so I didn’t mean it.” “Tell me the whole story now.”“What? Shocking. “You have 2 minutes left, I’m here to listen to your story.”“I would if I could… would it kill you to be a little more sensitive…? Why do men have to be like this…?” Siske is trying to stop the tears from flowing. “…Have you ever thought it isn’t as easy to put your whole life into a few words?!” She looks legitimately hurt.“I’m sure most of it is fluff.” She’s not interesting.“Ngh… I knew you always been heartless. You only wanted an excuse to stab me like that, am I right?” Siske grabs her hand.“1 minute.”Siske’s indignant expression that includes showing her teeth, completely changes to resignation, her eyes lifelessly staring at the ground for comfort. “…The moment you put that pen through my hand, you ruined my life. Before, I found you lot disgusting, now I’ve been afraid of men, you violent putrid shits can snap at any moment. You’re so unpredictable, so idiotic, so cruel… When I hear a man raise his voice, I start to sweat in fear…” That explains why she felt embarrassed about the sweat comment.“The only way to regain control is to snap back, you are such cowards you don’t expect women to stand for themselves. But that ruined me forever. I couldn’t go modeling ‘cause I ended up yelling at the producers, same with acting, same with everything. I was so fucking talented but it all went to the dumpster. You parasites are everywhere. Except school, teachers didn’t have a spine, it felt so good to have control over them.” Siske chuckles, she went past the minute now, but you’re still listening. “If it wasn’t for therapy, I don’t know how I would have coped. But the worst part is that I became afraid of even my own idiot dad. I cussed him out every day and every night. Dumb bumbling idiot thought he lost his daughter… So fuckin’ selfish… He couldn’t take it anymore and left my mom and me a few months ago. But she didn’t want me to go to college ‘cause it was too expensive and work a shitty job instead for the year. I went to it anyway ‘cause fuck her for making decisions for me and you simply don’t say no to those type of opportunities.” Siske has the whole picture wrong. “So that’s where I found Ugolino, he’s a self-made cowardly guy who’s spineless enough to never be a threat to me. I only wanted him to pay for my college, I did everything he wanted, yet… All men are cowards in the end… Happy? Not like you’ve been able to do something like that again, you haven’t tried though… “You’re reaching there, pal…” Siske seems to have recovered a little of her composure.“Do you want me to yell to see if that’s true or not?”“I-I w-wasn’t kidding before, I really get scared... Please don’t do that…” Siske is embarrassed and polite. This is new. “Allie, I don’t think it’s gonna happen... My mom absolutely loathes me for what I did to dad, plus with the college stuff… I don’t think she cares about me anymore, I haven’t heard from her since and I have tried to contact her a couple of times.” “No harm in trying.”“O-Okay… Allie, you have changed…” Siske is weirded out in a good way.“I don’t think I have.”
>>3642985“Allie, I would really really like to do what you said. Buuuut… I have another huge problem.” Siske tries to act cute again, what is it now? “I study in Hamje… The big city, you know it, right? Well I have no idea where we are now. Ugolino wanted to come here out of nowhere today, so I didn’t bring anything with me. We were supposed to come back tomorrow morning… I don’t even know what this town is called. I’m stranded here basically. So… Could you give some money to pay for a ticket back to the city? Pleeeease?” You stare daggers at her. “I know this looks bad after I stole your money, but now you know I was so desperate! Pretty please?” Siske winks at you to no effect. “No, I’m serious. I can’t leave otherwise. Look, we can make an exchange… There is a bed next to us, I can make a show for you. If not you, I’ll have to talk to your pal bartender outside… So what do you say? I know you want me.” She’s still drunk... This is a trap. What do you do? >”I just told you to get your shit together.” Give her 50 bucks and leave.>“Uh. What about no. You step away and head towards the door then open it. Camilo had his head pressing on it and almost fell, he looks fairly embarrassed to be caught like this. Without hesitation, you ask him to return your wallet which he does with all the money intact. He’s a nice dude. You inform the situation is almost done as you close the door back. When you turn back you see Siske posing seductively and failing at it again, it’s almost like she has no idea what she’s doing. It’s pretty sad in all honesty. “You need to hand me the money before the real show starts…” Siske’s fake sexy voice sounds like a turtle trying to mate. Despite this degrading and somewhat amusing sight, you approach her. “Siske, you shouldn’t demean yourself more than you already have. No, I don’t want to see a show.”“B-But…” You hand her 200 bucks. “A-Allie?! Are you sure?! This is totally going to be the only chance you’ll ever have!” Siske is completely shocked.“I hope next time I see you, you are under better circumstances.” You walk away.“W-Wait up, Allie!” Siske begs as she stands up from the bed. For some reason you stop. “…I’m sorry for everything, I really mean it. Everything I’ve done to you, I’m super sorry. You don’t need to forgive me, I just want you to know…” Siske says very respectfully, of all things – this is the most unexpected of them all. “Also c-can we exchange numbers? “Here. Don’t message me until you’ve cleaned yourself up or it’s an emergency. Anything else and I will block you.” You take your phone out and exchange numbers.“I-I c-can’t even ask how you are or anything?” Siske tries to joke it off, but she’s clearly serious.“Especially that.” “It’s your rules… I just wanted to have a way to pay you back. Thanks anyway, Allie. I really mean it.” Siske grins, you start walking away. “So am I staying here for the rest of the night…?”“Obviously, you don’t have anywhere else to go, right? The owner will help you out in the morning anyway, she’s a nice lady.”“Right…” She looks uneasy. “Good luck, Allie... And thank you again for giving me another chance.” You nod in response and finally leave the room. It felt like an eternity. You don’t know how to feel with how things ended. You wonder if there is a chance you will ever forgive that piece of shit Aleister….. as if! These impure thoughts are making you sick.
>>3643268You gained +5 Charisma Experience points for dealing with Siske. Congratulations you reached lv. 4! Gathering enough new skills and developing your passive stats gave improvements to your combat stats! As you step out, Camilo immediately locks the door. Both of you sigh simultaneously in relief. Four-eyes jokes that this means you will buy him a beer next time for his troubles, you just say “probably.” While waiting outside the “locker room” for Camilo to change back his clothes, you get a phone call from an anonymous number… What do you do? >Answer the phone!>Don’t answer the phone!

You answer the phone. You heavy breathe for the sake of it. “Hello, is this Alfred Brown speaking, er, breathing?” A rather soft-spoken individual asks, he didn’t even care about your creepiness. Boring.“Who are you and how did you get this number?”“I asked someone.” That’s too vague of a response! “Mr. Brown, there are so many things we need to talk about, but first I want to say I’m fairly impressed by your abilities! Defeating Sewel isn’t an easy task.” You’re not stupid, he’s a Mafiosi. “But before we can continue speaking, I wanted to alert you there is another challenge coming to your doorstep. No, it’s not the rockstar, and no, it’s not one of my men. I pray for your success, Mr. Brown.” He hangs up. That wasn’t much of a conversation, you couldn’t say a thing. He’s probably a highly ranked Mafiosi or even their boss. You’re probably going to deal with someone unrelated. But does he means outside the bar? Does that mean he has an eye on you? “Hey thanks for waiting.” Camilo comes out of the locker room with his casual clothes on. It’s a first for you. “Uh, anything wrong?”“Nothing. I got a weird call just now.”“Maybe it’s your friend over there…” He points back to the “office.”“Real funny.” You’re not laughing. Maybe you’re overthinking it and there is nothing wrong. Either way, you both leave the Flux together. Outside there is a familiar face waiting… Its Aleister’s friend and weird clean up guy: Vender Duss. “Hello, both of you! Do you two work here?” Vender smiles.“We’re closing, kid.” Camilo seems bothered by Vender’s fake smile.“Oh! It’s not about that! I saw Siske enter here and she hasn’t come out. I’ve been waiting for hours now! Is she still inside?”“Why didn’t you come in to check…?” Camilo is trouble with Vender’s question. “W-Well, I’m not old enough to d-drink! I d-don’t think it would be appropriate, hehe…” Vender looks fairly embarrassed to admit it. “It’s really important I talk to her!” What do you do? >“Siske left a long time ago with his boyfriend.”>“Sorry, we’re in no obligation of disclosing this information.”>“Yep, still inside. “Siske left a long time ago with her boyfriend. They were headed to Hamje from what he told me. Is something wrong? Are you a friend of Siske?” You reply. Camilo seems a little bit confused by your answer.“A friend of a friend you could say, hehe.” Vender’s smile is full of deceit. “I’m on an errand and I need to talk to her. And it’s funny you say that, because unless she poofed out of existence, I think something is wrong here. I think it’s more likely you two are lying than a magic trick…”“We’re not. Those two left out the back door.” You respond with your quick thinking. “See, I know you two are just doing your job, but you are still serving these dubious characters who drag good people down and break them like that poor Siske. I help people like her, I can turn her back to a proper lady. So please just tell me where she is.” This guy is creepy. “We’re not lying…” Camilo gets the hint and backs you up. “I was really hoping for you two to rectify your previous statement instead of doubling down. Did you forget I told you I’ve been watching for hours? Siske’s boyfriend has a peculiar appearance you both are aware of, and I clearly saw him leave half drunk in a taxi. Alone.” Vender’s smile disappears. “I don’t know what shady business you two are into, but look, a monthly salary isn’t worth it. What if I give you some money and you guys can tell me the truth? We can be friends! But I implore first to do the right thing. He steps back. Vender shakes his head and murmurs. “So this is the power of propaganda, huh?”“It’s not propaganda if it’s not political.” Camilo corrects Vender.“What?”“You heard me. Unless you are part of a political party, it’s not propaganda.” “The point is you were fed false information. The gullible masses are always tricked by cheap tricks like this, hence why you need people like us for salvation.” Vender is trying to defend himself, albeit poorly.“What cheap trick?” Camilo is curious.“Have you heard of “deep fakes” before? I got the information I needed, Siske is inside this very building and there is absolutely nothing you can say to change my mind. I invite you two to participate in a charity to understand what it feels like, I know deep inside you there is something good. All I want is for you to nurture it. You won’t regret it.” Vender doesn’t bite your bait. “Besides you can keep your charade going, I’m just entertaining this conversation to pass the time.” “We’re going to call the police if you stay out here. You better leave now.” You respond.“I guess that will be it, then. I implore you next time to reconsider your position, I know you mean well, but your loyalty is misguided, don’t forget where and for who you’re working for.” Vender starts walking away. You assume he will stay near the perimeter. “That kid sounds like bad news. I’ll inform Laetitia and the police now to keep an eye out. Or maybe you have something better planned? I don’t know if she’s your friend, but she’s the one in trouble. What do you think we should do?” Camilo wonders. You indicate to Camilo to start walking away from the bar, obviously Vender could potentially be listening to your talk. With a safe distance away, you tell him what to do: “With calling Laetitia and the police will be enough.”“You’re right, that office is basically a safe, if he breaks inside, kudos to him.” Camilo seems on board. “I’ll make the calls.”“I’ll inform Siske as well.” Your call with Siske was fairly short, at first she sounded mad ‘cause you woke up her, but once she heard your voice and what you had to say, her tone did a 180 shift. You’re never going to get use to her sounding like a normal apologetic and reasonable human being, too drastic of a change. Siske said she’s going to call you immediately if something feels off. She sounded really scared… “I’ll go back to the bar until the cops show up to explain the situation again.” Camilo informs you. “They know I work there, so it’s less troubling if I go.”“Do you want me to go with you?”“It’s fine, go home. I feel like you need a rest. I’ll call you if anything happens.” Camilo is one reliable guy. “Thank you, I mean it.”“I’m getting extra pay for this, so don’t be too thankful.” He smirks. And then you two went your separate ways. You returned to the cabin after a long exhausting day. You pray nothing happens during the night, but knowing the kind of person Vender is – you expect the worst. It’s late at night, you’re past your bedtime... “Hey!” Catastrovania is fairly happy to see you. She’s using her computer. “Oh jeez, what happened?” “I’m exhausted…” You truly are. “Where is Maggie?”“Watching the stars by the beach. I dunno what happened but she’s acting off…” Catastrovania looks slightly worried. “We ate something Maggie made, it was alright. Nothing at the level of Starphase’s GREAT CUISINE. There is some leftovers in the kitchen if you wanna eat.” You don’t know if it’s good or bad that Catastrovania is getting used to this. You thank Catastrovania for the information, grab a snack for the walk and go search for Maggie. Before leaving, the Catgirl told you to take things easy, you appreciate her concern but left anyway. Now if Maggie’s watching the sky she should be near, right? Time to find out… This short walk is giving you time to think things over and what to say to the audacious girl. After all, what she did is not something one can simply forgive just like that. Besides you have no idea what’s her deal is at this point, everything got too confusing. You find Maggie sitting near a bunch of rocks, she’s wearing her normal black clothes. Watching the stars your ass, her eyes are knitted to her phone’s screen! You didn’t expect anything else from her. “Hey, Maggie.” You make your presence known. Maggie jumps a little by the surprise of hearing your voice.“A-Allie…!” Maggie looks as troubled as when you left her today. She stands up to be eye to eye with you. “Did your time alone help to think…? D-Do you hate me…?” This is it. What do you respond? >“I don’t hate you. I just don’t know you. You sit beside her to watch the ocean, Maggie feels pressured to sit by your side, but she’s keeping her eyes on you. “Allie…” She’ll freak out if you don’t say anything.“Was everything you told just a lie?” This is the deciding factor for you. “About hating Aleister, wanting to be friends and everything else?”“Yes? No? I don’t know… I don’t want to lie to you but... it’s like complicated.” Maggie is not making things better. “Like I totally hate Aleister, that’s the mega truth. I hate that rancid square-faced bastard. But it was a gamble for me to tell you how much I hated him, I didn’t know anyone at that point who hated him – so it wasn’t like I was trying to cater to you or anything.” Maggie’s words are true. “Don’t make fun of me, but I felt like we had a connection, it made it easier for us to try to be friends...” “So it’s the friendship part a lie?”“K-Kinda? I dunno… Have you ever forced yourself to make friends at some point? Like at the first day at school or somethin’? It felt like that to me. I was the one who approached you, remember?” Maggie confesses. “My legs were wobbling and shit, but I think I hide it pretty well... You’re a super intimidating guy.” She did hide it well to her credit.“I see…” All that trouble only to apologize to someone she was afraid of. “C-Can you blame me? You s-stabbed Siske in the hand with a p-pen when we were eight! Imagine what you can do now!” Maggie has a point but it doesn’t make it less hurtful. “You hated me and girls for so long I didn’t think you would let your anger go… b-but I also knew you were a super cool guy inside too! So that’s why I had the courage to talk to you!”“What makes you say that?”“I-I mean when we were little, you and the boys let me play with you at the park sometimes… It happened like once or twice, but you guys were fun.” Maggie looks a little embarrassed. You don’t remember that. “Like I now get why they hated me so much, I betrayed them as well… I wish I wasn’t this stupid. I could have… could have… made everyone friends…” Maggie shakes her head. “But that doesn’t matter now… I want to know how you feel about me. Please tell me, Allie!” Maggie is shaking a lot. What do you respond? >“I’m confused, do you want to be friends or not?” You’re a bit irritated.>“I used to love you, but now I’m confused…” Tease her.>“I dislike you a little. It’s like super pointless and helps no one. So stop thinking about that and answer me. So it’s only natural for me to say such a thing.”>“Yeah, you’re kinda hot. So what?”>“Don’t test your luck. I’m really tired now…”>Write In.

>>3647108>“Don’t test your luck. I’m really tired now…”>Tell her about Vender
>>3647108>“Don’t test your luck. I’m really tired now…”
You patted her on the head. Maggie keeps on smiling. “Don’t test your luck. I’m really tired now… Let’s go back inside the cabin.”“Aww, I wanted to tease you like just a little bit more...”“Later.” You stand up and Maggie shortly follows your lead. During the short trip back to the cabin, you inform Maggie the important news about Vender Duss and how he’s a possible threat now. Maggie wasn’t one bit happy to hear about that “pervert.” You’re back at the cabin! Hooray! “Catastrovania Strifaust Morituros IX! Sorry for keeping you waiting!” Maggie is still in a good mood.“H-Hey… Finally you came back, I was g-getting worried.” Cat looks uncomfortable. “I foresaw your triumphant return, but you never k-know sometimes…”“Your dark magic sounds fairly unreliable.” You tease.“Fufufu… It’s only to keep the mystique alive! W-What’s wrong with some u-unpredictability in life?” Catastrovania sounds like a B*thesda employee. “You both seem in a great mood now…” “The closer to morning training, the better, right?” Your joke falls flat as both girls don’t agree. “Anyway, before we hit the bed. I need to inform you of something…” Without giving too many juicy details, you explain the situation to both girls about Vender Duss, Siske and Maggie possibly. “So how fat are we talking?” Maggie wants to know more about the disgraceful Siske… “Last time I saw her, she was still pretending her old clothes could fit her fat ass.” Right, they aren’t as close as they were in school…“Uuuh… Who cares about that? Doesn’t this mean we should leave this cabin soon?” Catastrovania wonders. “Sounds like everyone knows where we are.”“No, they don’t. But things could get tricky if we stay here for too long.” Vender wants Siske to purify her and maybe interrogate her about Maggie or something. That’s your best bet, but you don’t know why he would want that aside from being a creep. “Maybe I need to consult my SECRET NETWORK OF SPIES?” Catastrovania poses. “Maybe that Vender guy took the bait and went to the city. Are you sure he’s moving alone? If he’s friends with that Aleister guy, he must have some back up or something.”“Why not contact that weird guy who called you?” Maggie proposes. “He seems to know where everyone is.”“We’ll see…” You need to think this thoroughly to make a good decision…
>>3647246Currently in a house in Laoling… You’re a bitch. You’re a fuckin’ bitch. It’s been, what? A week since his dad’s funeral? Just pick up the phone, you bitch. The poor guy must be having a shit time right now, and you’re letting him down. Just call him, you coward. He’s your friend, you are sure he won’t mind. Is there an expiration date for one to rekindle their friendship after a funeral? There must be one… You’re probably past it… NO! Fuck your anxiety. If you can’t do this for your pal, when are you going to man up? He’s probably locked up inside his apartment, hasn’t done shit for days and has that awful pedo ‘stache… Anything but the pedo ‘stache… You can’t let him keep that awful shit on his face. Take the phone and call him! “H-H-Hello, Al…?” You did it! …Wrong number. …Yeah, maybe you need to recharge for another day to call again. You’ll call him again when you’re back at your apartment... Sadly, this is all we have for this thread! Thanks for playing! See you next time!
