Took a 1 1/2 break-ish. Was helping a family member deal with mental health issues. If I wasn't there for him, things could have gone really south. Anyways... I'm here to write & update this :^)

“Let’s go see Hiren regarding our clothing for tonight, if we run into Roland, we can ask him as well.” Marcie rolls over onto her side before getting up and sliding off her bed. She turns around towards you bringing her hands behind her back as she leans forward and back slowly. Marcie hums.

“Hmmmm, ok. That sounds fair. I’d rather find out if the ending had anything to do with Roland than go see Hiren, but picking out an outfit for the occasion sounds like a better idea.” You get up from the bed grabbing the book. “Leave the book here, for now, I want to reread certain parts later… I’ll return it myself in the morning.” Marcie says hastily grabs the book from your hands placing it on the chair next to her window. “Let’s not keep Hiren waiting,” Marcie says as the two of you walk out of her room.

As you pass by Vivi’s room, you don’t hear anything from inside. She is most likely with Mercedes or Caren currently. You walk alongside Marcie in silence as she looks around trying to find Roland. A large group of students passes by making small talk about wine. None of them is your friend Roland. Soon the two of you arrive at Hiren’s room. The door to the room is different from the other rooms in the academy. The usual white door is now a bright blue color, similar to the color of the ocean from FH’s world. You knock on the door. From inside the room, you can the sound of something falling on the ground as well as muffled voice. You knocked on the door again, but harder.

“Hiren are you alright in there?” Marcie says worriedly.

Again, you hear a muffled voice from inside. You turn the doorknob to find that the door is unlocked. Opening the door, you are assaulted with a bright light that causes you to squint your eyes and look the other way. You hold one of your hands over your eyes, as you step into the room. The walls of the room are painted with a bright yellow. Many of the furniture in the room, is a clashing mix of colors. On the furniture, the floor, and the bed are a myriad of clothing and bits of cloth. Hiren’s room is heavily different from the previous time that you were inside. Marcie is standing next to Hiren’s bedside. She looks distressed as she shakes Hiren who is lying on his bed face down in his pillow he is breathing slowly.

“HelloYouTwo…WhyAreYouHearAgain?” Hiren says as he talks into his pillow.

“Turn him over please Saul. He can’t breathe properly” Marcie says as she places her hands on her hips shaking her head.

You walk to the bedside, while still squinting your eyes you roll Hiren over to his back. Slowly you are getting used to the overly bright room.

>“What happened to your room?”

>“Sorry the room is too bright for me, I need to step outside. I’ll be waiting outside if you need me.”

“Is everything all right? Why are you like this?”

“…Chromatic Styles. Too much.” Hiren takes in a deep breath before exhaling.

“He used the magic so much, that he tired his body to the point of exhaustion.” Marcie closes her eyes holding a singular finger up. “ While casting magic may seem fun it will also quickly tire your body, please be careful when practicing, I don’t want to see any of my students in the hospital wing. ” Marcie says trying to mimic Mrs. Alabaster’s voice.

“Well is he alright?” you ask.

“I should be fine, I just need to rest in bed. My apologies for making the two of you worry, I promise it won’t happen again. I got overly excited with being able to change the coloration of the various clothing and walls in my room…Though I may need some assistance in placing the room back to its correct coloration.” Hiren says as he sits up against his bed frame.

Marcie places her hands on her hips shaking her head. She walks to one of the walls of the room changing the color back to normal before proceeding to another part of the room.

“Please don’t trouble yourself with that right now. We can do it together at a more convenient time frame. Solomon, in my closet I set aside three outfits that I thought maybe appropriate for tonight’s event. Why don’t you try them on and see what Marcie or yourself think of them.” Hiren points to the light green closet door in the corner of his room.

You walk to open the closet door to reveal three outfits wrapped in plastic wrap. The first one is a black tuxedo with a red rose tucked in the breast pocket. The second outfit is a different variation of the academies uniform, but it varies in the normal style that you see other students where. The third outfit you're unsure what it is.

“The third outfit is one of my own design, the measurements were incorrect when I was first crafting it, but I believe it will fit you just fine. I gave the normal school uniform a more refined look, but should still be appropriate for the event.”

I love writing this quest, but currently, I'm lacking the time to write it and update regularly due to complications irl. Seeing as things are I'll take a break from updating for now.
