You look through the contents of the Backpacks and find: some men's clothing that you can maybe resell, about a billion MTG cards, $60 big Canadian dollars, A wallet with an ID and “if found please return to” note, worthless school books, two iphones and finally... A LAPTOP and laptop charger.

Now you have all the cards needed to make pretty much any MTG, [STANDERD FORMAT], deck that you can ever think of. Or maybe you can resell the cards when the heat goes down. The phones are nice, but with modern day technology it could prove be a liability to keep them. Modern phones may track your location at all times and relay that information to private corporations, but at the very least it makes it harder to lose your phone. Fair trade for any party girl! The real treasure, in all this, is the laptop. Popping it open, you find it passwordless and free for the taking. Looking at the specs, its clearly not a “gaming” laptop, but it does alright. You want to test it out and access the net, but you find that there is no wifi here for you to mooch here....

They may not have wifi, but they do have some old fashioned 20 year old computers that you can use. So you head over to the “tec” section of the library where there are many of these, "free use", computers. The demographic of the people here is old men looking at porn, FOB chines people reading moonrune news, and the homeless checking out their face book posts. Not a single person is using the computers for their intended purpose, and no one who works here seems to care. You easily fit in with these miss fits and goof off on the internet. Through the power of google, you check out if there are any local anime / nerdy expos or events to make some quick cash cossplaying. Turns out that the next even is all the way in August! Thats a month and a half from now, Vancouver sure is shit if youre a nerd looking to meet other nerds. The only /tg/ store in the downtown area is about 20 min walk from where you are, but its closed today, as they are holding a MTG tourney in the park today. Oops!

You spend the rest of the day in the library hiding from any cop or nerd that may come after you, JUST IN CASE. Not much to do here, mindlessly scrolling through twitter and 4chan eventually gets boring. So you also look through your new cards and and even read some graphic novels the library has available in the teen section. You almost DIE from boredom but eventually night time comes and they start kicking yall out.

You keep one of the backpacks and put everything useful into it, everything else you toss into the trashbin out back (including the phones), before heading home. The walk home is uneventful, and when you get home nothing eventful happens. You wish SOMETHING would happen to keep you interested but NOTHING does. The only thing for you to do once you get home is lay on the ground and MEDITATE until morning. You have a bit of trouble setting everything up but its not too bad, your mic works and the quality from your new webcam works great. You download the drivers and the computer accepts the software. On the technical side of things, everything plays out great. You had a slightly worry about static on a used gaming mic, but it doesn't seem to be an issue at all. Overall, the many technical problems that streamers are usually plagued with when first starting out has not hit you at all.

You dont really get that many viewers though, peeking at about 7 around 12 then dropping down to about two as you play into the night. Stream watching English commentary is more of an American thing, and the only other human language you know is Korean and ancient Egyptian. If you want to get a good audience you may have to start playing during the day instead of at night.

But the few people you get are great! You dont face any gate keepers and the "show tits" posting is very minimal. You expected to face resistance when entering a extremely nerdy sub genre of an already nerdy hobby. The chat is comfy and they interact with you. They make suggestions and explain the game to you, while you play up the "succubus persona" that they seem to embrace quickly. You even get some nerd cred by mimicing what you learned from [Alpha nerd] about MTG. All and all, it would be safe to say that you even had... fun, doing this. The stream tops of you [ATTENTION meter]

Eventually you have to shut down your stream and take a break.

While shutting down your PC, you wonder what your best friends are doing in hell. Probably all having fun without you and stabbing sinner mortals to death. "SIIIIIGHHHH", you are starting to feel a bit starved for friend ship. So you decide to take a rest playing games and head out into the city to find some girl friends! Putting on your normal walking gear, you finally start to explore the city and eventually you make it to the commercial streets.
