Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After Chaya showed off her newfound power, you and the other time travelers worked together to defeat Omega Shenron. Then Goku gave a Senzu Bean to Chaya, restoring your strength as you still had a battle to fight with the Mobile Armor. Which you defeated with little difficulty, even showing off your as-of-yet unnamed move. Once the machines were defeated you accepted Orga’s surrender on behalf of all Tekkadan, then returned back home thanks to one of Raven’s portals, you arriving in time to watch Chaya and Raditz’s rematch. Your daughter pushed Raditz past his limits, the boy becoming an Ascended Super Saiyan. Chaya transforms as well, their power blowing the audience away. Their match resumes on Raxus Prime, and after the two talk it out and understand each other a little better, the match continues far friendlier. Then Bardock surprisingly challenges you, and as we rejoin Karn he’s in his Berserker form, facing Super Saiyan 3 Bardock.

“RRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!!” Bardock roars, charging right back at you. Not letting him keep the advantage you bellow and blast off the ground as well, both your fists smashing into each others with titanic force. And thanks to the mass provides by your Berserker form, while Bardock is knocked slightly back from the force of the impact your charge continues through.
“Got you!” you shout, following up and pressing the attack. With impacts like meteor strikes you rain down blow after blow, Bardock forced on the defensive to avoid taking serious damage. After several moments of this your fellow Saiyan’s had enough, releasing an Explosive Wave powerful enough to stagger you. And before you get your guard readied Bardock follows up with an Energy Punch to your jaw, backflipping into the air above you.

“HRRRRAAAAAAAA!!” roars Bardock, the Saiyan blasting at you with a wide, powerful Energy Wave. With only an instant to act you throw your arms up, attempting to block this massive attack. The energy slams into you, yet you hold firm, Bardock’s blast unrelenting for several seconds before he finally ends it. You stand where you were, only a small pillar left of the ground directly beneath you for more than a dozen yards in all directions as Bardock again takes his stance. “Is that all you’ve got?”
“I was about to ask you the same thing.” you reply, taking your stance as well with a smirk.

“Tch. Take THIS!!” Bardock roars, firing a wave of energy down at you. Crossing your arms before you, the attack strikes your guard head-on. But you easily tank his attack before Bardock rushes in to continue pressing his assault. But this time you’re ready, swatting his left fist aside with your right forearm and jabbing for his head with your left. But Bardock narrowly dodges, your fist missing him and momentarily sending you off-balance. Before you can recover, Bardock slams his right ki-covered fist into the side of your head, the energy exploding in your face.

“Dammit!” you shout, arms reflexively going to cover your head. But this reaction is exactly what Bardock wanted, you feeling a half-dozen heavy blows crashing into your gut before another more-powerful wave of energy slams into your entire upper body and sends you crashing down into the crater. Coughing and pushing yourself up, you sense Bardock firing a barrage of blasts down at you.
“Hrrrrraaaaa!!” Bardock roars, your Barrier going up around you as dozens upon dozens of ki blasts slam into your shield. Holding the Barrier takes little effort, focusing your ki sense on Bardock to make sure he doesn’t sneak up on you. And sure enough, you feel him fire another few blasts before moving, dropping straight to the ground and flying under the cover of his attacks right at you. But you sense it coming, and as Bardock closes in you deactivate your Barrier, you catching him off-guard and slamming a fist square into his face.

Bardock cries out in surprise as your fist crashes into him, sending him flying. Bardock backflips back to his feet, sliding to a stop as you charge after him. You swing for his head, Bardock ducking and swinging for a powerful uppercut to your guts. But before his attack could connect you swing with your knee, it crushing Bardock’s nose and sending a spray of blood as the attack knocks him down yet again. As he tumbles backwards you reach out, grabbing him by the ankle and spinning, slamming Bardock into the ground three quick times before you lift and punch him square in the gut. You release Bardock as your fist impacts with tremendous force, sending him flying up and out of the crater. He got you by surprise, but you’ve given just as good as you’ve taken so far.

“Try dodging this!” you roar, and with a moment of intense focus fire your Guided Eye Beams right at Bardock. He sees the attack coming, twisting and narrowly avoiding the piercing beams. But as he avoids it you continue to focus, changing the attacks’ angles right back at him. “Not yet!”
“What?!” Bardock shouts, your attack changing course and striking at his back. He dodges one beam successfully, the other piercing straight through his right bicep. “Nrg! Dammit!”
“C’mon, is that all you’ve got?!” your taunting call echoes out, Bardock trying and failing to avoid your deadly beams as you reorient them on him over and over again, your fellow Saiyan having a rough time of it. Over a dozen times one of your attacks pierce him, Bardock managing to dodge any extremely dangerous or heavily debilitating blows. But your attack holds him in place, which was the real goal.

As the beams force Bardock’s full attention to remain on that attack, you begin to gather your ki overhead. It’s in intense mental strain, charging up your Super Ki Bomb while keeping Bardock on the defensive with the Eye Beams. You feel your left eye twitching from the strain, arms trembling as you struggle to hold everything together. As you’ve finally gathered enough for your attack, you send your beams reorienting on Bardock one last time and rushing in. Bardock dodges it yet again, leaving him wide-open as you rush in, massive attack held overhead. He catches the attack coming from the corner of his eye, turning towards you and eyes widening in surprise.

“GOT YOU!!” you roar, bellowing out and slamming the giant attack down. He doesn’t have time to react, the attack catching him and sending your fellow Super Saiyan crashing down to the ground. He struggles to push back against it, but you’d gathered so much power that he simply cannot repel it in time. With a final effort you detonate the attack, your Super Ki Bomb exploding with a tremendous blast. The blast knocks you back slightly, forcing you to brace yourself against it to avoid getting blown away as well. It takes several moments after the blast ends before the dust clears, revealing Bardock. You see that he’s still standing, but no longer a Super Saiyan 3.

“Dammit. That’s it?” Bardock says, more to himself than you as you descend to the ground by him. “I’m out of time already?”
“You alright?” you ask, holding a hand down to him and reverting back to your base form. Bardock harrumphs, yet still takes your arm as you help him back up to his feet. Mentally contacting Raven and telling her your match is over, she opens a portal back to New Salda’s now-ruined arena. You both walk through the portal unsupported under your own powers, both of your families waiting excitedly for your return.
“...Next time, Karn.” Bardock says, holding a fist out to you. “I’ll master this power, and next time I’ll take you down.”
“Bring it on.” you reply, rapping your knuckles against his. “But I’m not slowing down either. I won’t let you surpass me.”
“Hmph. I’d expect it no other way.” Bardock replies, the Saiyan warrior and his family then leaving the ruined arena behind.

“This will take some time to fix.” King Vegeta says to himself, looking over the ruins of the arena before turning to your daughter. “But you certainly put on an impressive show.”
“Thanks! I’ve been practicing!” Chaya says excitedly. “Mr. Shellshock says it’s no fun for the fans if the fight’s over too quick. ‘Gotta give ‘em their money’s worth.’ So I’ve been trainin’ really hard.”
“That’s certainly how Vox operates.” Vegeta says, then turns to you. “And well done. Freeza told me some of what happened with the pirates, as well as the time travelers. Good to have you back.”
“Good to be back.” you tell him, giving your king a tired salute. “And I’ve got something to tell you later, about that form you’ve been working towards. Don’t let me forget, alright?”
“As if I would.” he says, then after saying his goodbyes departs back for the palace.
“Well, shall we go home?” Meloka asks you, you nodding in agreement.
“Yeah, lets.” you say, you all taking off back towards your ship. The flight back is uneventful, your kids telling you about what happened while you were gone as you all travel and eat up, your stomach informing you that you hadn’t eaten for several hours now. Once everyone’s had their fill you all wash up after your battles, everyone going to bed.

“We’re gonna need more beds soon.” you think before going to sleep, the last thing you see before sleeping is Chaya, Broly, Chilli, Tatsu and Tomi, and Caulifla all piled in the bed just the three oldest used to share together. Your sleep is deep and restful, you slowly waking to peace and quiet on board your ship. While you’d enjoyed spending time on board Freeza’s ship, you’d really missed this. This is what you fight for, what you fight to protect. You would do anything for them.

As you soak in the peace and calm of the morning, listening to your wife and children all sleeping, Meloka stirs in your arms. Your wife rolls over towards you, you smiling and kissing her.

“Mornin’.” you whisper, Meloka ‘mmmm’ing contentedly then nestling her face into your chest.
“Mrrssd yyyaa.” she mumbles out, still half-asleep.
“Missed you too.” you reply, simply holding your wife close for several minutes and enjoying each others’ presence until the kids begin to wake up. Caulifla wakes up first, your daughter sleepily floating over to your bed and rubbing her eyes.
“Momma?” Moooomma?” Caulifla calls out in a sleepy mumble, Meloka turning and rolling towards her.
“Come here Cauli.” Meloka says, you seeing your daughter’s thumb in her mouth. She comes over, Meloka grabbing her and putting her between the two of you.
“Mornin’ kiddo.” you say, Caulifla’s eyes shooting open.

“DADDY!” she shouts in surprise, you chuckling and holding your daughter close as she ‘Eeeeeeee’s in excitement. But her shouts seem to have woken up the rest of them, your children all jumping up and stampeding over to you and Meloka. You, Caulifla, and Meloka are all buried under the rest of your children here, you laughing at your kids all begin to pile on top of you. You enjoy a relaxing morning with your family, taking the morning off from your previous training. You get out of bed, you, Meloka, and the kids all getting dressed. As you all dress you notice your wife’s scars across her back, you taking a moment to look over yourself in the room’s mirror. The massive scar across your chest draws your eye first, but as you look over your upper body you see the hundreds of other scars. Your chest, arms, and face are all covered in old healed-over wounds, you turning to your children and watching as they dress, your children all still unscarred.

“Karn?” Meloka asks, having already gotten dressed in her purple gi and walking over. “What is it?”
“This is it.” you reply, pulling Meloka to you as the two of you watch your kids dress, them all talking about what they’re gonna do today. “This is what we’ve been fighting for all this time.”
“Yeah. We made it.” she says, smile on her face. “After everything, we’re still here.”

“We’ve got something we need to do first.” you say to Meloka, as the kids all finish getting dressed. “We’ve still got a daughter to name, don’t we?”
“Yeah, have you thought of any names?” she asks you, pondering names as you finish dressing. But as you get dressed Chaya runs off first, saying she’s going training with Shellshock at Dreadzone. Broly heads out as well, saying he’s going to go see Ubo and keep training on controlling his Ascended Berserker transformation. Tatsu and Tomi are excited to jump into the arena and go at each other after yesterday’s fights, Chilli saying he’ll watch over them and make sure they won’t hurt each other.

With everyone going their separate ways you and Meloka take off, flying towards the main hospital where your youngest daughter is waiting. The two of you walk in through the front door, the receptionist eagerly greeting you both. Or rather, one of you more excitedly than the other.

“Oh hey Meloka, you’re back! Film any more workouts this week?” the young PTO receptionist says, still excited to see her but far less over-the-top than you remember.
“Not yet, that’ll be later.” she says, barely slowing down. “Have they moved her yet?”
“Not yet, but they’ll be taking her out next week.” he replies. “She’s almost ready to be out of the pod for good. Unless she takes after her father.”

Both the receptionist and surprisingly Meloka share laugh, you raising an eyebrow at the youth but not saying anything as Meloka leads you deeper inside. While over the years the outside of the facility has changed, what with the building being destroyed in multiple invasions and all, the interior has remained the same. Sterile white walls and floors, and small placards on the walls for guiding people around. But Meloka doesn’t even seem to notice them, leading you both directly to the room your daughter is in.

“She’s gotten big.” you say, peering at your daughter. You hadn’t been back here in awhile, but your daughter is still unmistakable. You walk right up to the pod, placing a hand on it. But this seems to wake her, your daughter opening her eyes and peering at you curiously. Opening the pod you pull your daughter out, cradling her in your arms and thinking to her. “Hey kiddo.”
“Aaaaaaaah!” she says, her large eyes peering questioningly at you.
“So you thought of any names yet?” Meloka asks.
“Not sure, what about you?” you ask back, the two of you sharing potential names for your daughter.

“That sound good?” you ask the daughter you’re holding onto, Okira smiling from ear to ear.
“Aaaaaaah!” she says happily, you and Meloka smiling down at your young, smiling daughter.
“I like it too.” Caulifla says, your daughter having been rising on your shoulders quietly this entire time, now addressing her younger sister. “Oooookiiiiraaaa?”
“Baaaaaaa!” Okira says, reaching up towards her sister. You lift her up towards her older sister, chuckling as your youngest daughter reaches out, her tiny hands grabbing her sister’s hair.
“Hey, stop tha-ow!” Caulifla says, Okira laughing happily.
“C’mon, let go Okira.” Meloka says with a chuckle, gently prying your daughter’s hand open and replacing Caulifla’s hair with her own hand. But right after the door opens, a nurse coming in.

“Alright, I hope everyone’s rea-Oh! Karn, Meloka, greetings.” she says, quickly giving a Saiyan salute to you both. “Perfect timing. The children here will be moved to the cradles now, have you given your daughter a name?”
“Her name’s Okira!” Caulifla says excitingly. The nurse looks to you both, you nodding in confirmation.
“Alright, Okira it is.” she says, writing something on the clipboard she’s carrying. “Very well. Do you wish to carry her there, or will you leave her with me?”

You look to Meloka, your wife holding your youngest daughter close, and it’s clear to both you and the nurse she’s not letting go anytime soon.

“...Aaaaalright, then if I could have you would wait one moment.” she says, pulling a hovering table in, going around to the other pods in the room and withdrawing the children, swaddling them and placing them all on the hovering table.
“Where’s their mommas and daddys?” Caulifla asks, looking at the kids as the nurse continues their work.
“They’re probably busy.” you say to Caulifla. “We weren’t here yesterday, remember?”
“Oh yeah, okay.” she says, as the nurse looks at you oddly for a moment before finishing her work.
“Alright, if you would follow me.” the nurse says, leading you all deeper inside.

“Uhh, sure?” you reply, walking up beside the nurse as she leads you all towards a different area. “What is it?”
“Its about your kids. Or rather, how you and Meloka have been raising them.” she says, somewhat uncertainly. “I’ve seen a lot of children come through here, and even kept up with many of them after leaving. But, even compared to the other Super Saiyans’, your children are all exceptional. Chaya’s become the youngest Dreadzone champion in history, and I watched Chilli in the arena the other day facing that Bardock’s second boy. His control is something else, most adults couldn’t dream of doing half of what that boy can do.”

“Big brother’s so cool!” Caulifla says happily, the nurse looking up at her and smiling for a moment.
“Of course, you admire your older brother.” she says, then turns her gaze back down to you as she turns the table around a corner. “And that’s my point general. You and Meloka, with your children; you live lives so differently from the others. From how we Saiyans have lived for generations. The only ones I know who live even remotely similarly are Bardock and Gine, and their children also noticeably above-average. Is that the secret to your power?”

“No, that’s not it.” you say, as she leads you all to a door, it sliding open and revealing the familiar-looking room full of cradles. She looks questioningly to you, waiting on you to continue as she begins putting the young Saiyans in cradles, marking each of them with names.

“Hahaha, be a good girl Okira. We’ll be back.” you say, setting her down in the cradle the nurse points out to you. You set your daughter in, the nurse handing you a small laser cutter to engrave your daughter’s name in the plate. “No thanks, I’ve go-“
“No, move over.” Meloka says, teasingly pushing you aside. “If you write it, they’ll have to ask me what it says.”
“Oh come on, it’s not that bad you say, both of you sharing a laugh. The nurse looked nervous at first, probably expecting a fight to break out. But as you both begin laughing she sighs out in relief, shoulders slumping. “But you want to know how to go Super Saiyan, right?”
“Yo-You’d really tell me?” she asks with a voice full of hope, clearly wanting to know the ‘secret’ of transforming. “Really?”
“Of course, I’ll tell you.” you say, turning and picking Caulifla back up. “And I’ll tell you too kiddo, we haven’t told you how your mother and I became Super Saiyans yet either.”
“Really? I wanna be a Super Saiyan too!” she says excitedly. “Tell me, tell me!”
“Hahaha alright, alright.” you say, the nurse interrupting before you can begin.
“Wait, not here.” she says, leading you out of that room to a nearby break room where you all can sit down. “Okay, we shouldn’t get bothered here.”

“Alright. It was many years ago, when I first became a Super Saiyan. But I didn’t completely transform the first time...” you say, describing the battle of the Grey homeworld, and how you and Meloka’d been nearly been crushed to death before you’d transformed, your False Super Saiyan power destroying Nefarious’s robots and then later on a different battlefield achieved the full power of the golden Super Saiyan form. Your wife then explain how she transformed fighting Lord Boros, then achieved full Super Saiyan against the demon on Novalis.

“And that’s basically it.” you say, to your wide-eyed daughter and the wider-eyed nurse. “Any questions?”
“I got one!” Caulifla says, you and Meloka both looking curiously at your daughter.

“You’re welcome.” you reply, the woman marching off towards the door with a new spring in her step.
“Where you goin’?” Caulifla asks, the nurse turning to your daughter with a smile. You realize her smile’s different, it seeming to be a much more genuine smile as she takes a knee by her.

“I’m in charge of many of the little ones who live here.” she says, hands on your daughter’s shoulders. “And your parents just taught me something important. Now I have to get back to work, you behave for your parents, okay?”
“Okay!” she says with a smile, the nurse still smiling as she leaves the room. Caulifla then turns to you, still smiling. “She’s nice.”
“Yes she is.” Meloka says, thoughtful as the three of you leave the hospital behind. “Well, that was more eventful than I thought it’d be. What now?”

“I still need to tell you and King Vegeta about what Future Chaya did, so let’s see what he’s up to.” you say, Meloka raising a single eyebrow questioningly but saying nothing else and following your lead as you lift up into the air. The palace is a short flight away, but the king isn’t there. Focus your ki sense, his signature is coming from the forest to the north, you blast off. You could make it to him in seconds, but that would leave Caulifla way behind. So instead if taking off at full speed, you fly at a speed Caulifla can easily keep up with, the three of you arriving at the northern end of the continent in around a minute. But as you get closer, you notice a Power Ball in the air. “Hey, watch your gaze. There’s a Power ball up, don’t look at it.”
“Where?” Caulifla asks, immediately looking around for it. But right as her gaze locks onto it you grab her head, forcibly turning her eyes away.
“No no, don’t look kiddo.” you say, holding Caulifla closer to you. “We don’t need you going Oozaru right now.”
“Awwww, okaaaay.” she pouts half-heartedly, perking up as she hears it: King Vegeta’s Oozaru form roaring into the sky.

“RRROOOOOOAAAAAAAARRR!!” your king roars as he transforms. But he surprisingly isn’t the only one, another two Golden Oozaru powerlevels appear as well.
“Wait, Bardock and Nappa?” Meloka asks, the two of you flying over to a clearing and seeing the three massive Saiyans. Both Bardock and Nappa’s massive forms begin shrinking down within seconds, but King Vegeta’s Golden Oozaru form remains, defiantly standing tall.
“Dammit!” you hear Nappa shout out angrily as he slams a fist into the ground, you and Meloka touching down by him. “I still can’t hold it!”
“You did better than last time.” Vegeta’s booming voice calls out, before noticing you and Meloka. “Karn, Meloka, what brings you out here?”

“That form, actually, King Vegeta.” you reply. And so you explain what happened with the Time Patrol and attacking time travelers, Vegeta crushing the Power Ball and returning to his base form as you begin your explanation of the battle, and Chaya’s new form, the apex of Saiyan power.
“An Apex Saiyan, huh?” Vegeta asks, mind visibly working overtime as he contemplates this newfound level of power.
“And I know you can achieve it.” you say to King Vegeta. “I saw you there as a Primal Saiyan as well.”
“Wait, what?” all three ask you simultaneously.

“Now Karn, I know you went Golden Oozaru years ago.” Vegeta says, Meloka taking Caulifla from you as she also realizes what’s about to happen. “Which means you should be able to hold it much longer now. Nappa, do it.”
“Burst open and mix!” Nappa shouts, the sphere changing and radiating the Blutz Waves needed to transform. Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiyan without hesitation, staring up at the orb and beginning the transformation. He quickly becomes his massive golden form, again bellowing to the sky. “Now, Karn! Transform as well, and show me what you can really do! No more holding back!”

“Well then dammit, I guess I have no choice.” you say, transforming then gazing up at the Power Ball. You feel the primal sure of power welling up from deep within, but this time it’s different than you remember. You remember the golden ki of a Super Saiyan fighting the Oozaru form, the two different ki warring with each other for control. But this time your mutated Super Saiyan power within more-easily overpowers the Oozaru surge, you feeing your body transforming and rapidly expanding. With a roar your transformation completes, you standing toe-to-toe with King Vegeta. “RRRRAAAAOOOOOAAAAAAAR!!!”

With all your might, fist streaking forward you punch it, but the other beast isn’t going down that easy. It crosses it’s arms to block but you’re stronger, the force of your punch sending it flying. You howl in triumph and beat your chest as the beast falls, it not getting back up immediately. But before you can move in to finish it off, a tiny warrior appears right before you.

“Dammit Karn, snap out of it!” she shouts, the long-haired warrior somehow familiar. But before you can ponder it any further you feel something wrong, you crying out in pain and clutching at your chest. You can’t breathe, head swimming as you fall forward, curling up against the pain. Whatever it is, you’re gonna die! You have to do something, something...

Everything goes dark, all the pain and anger melting away, replaced by a pleasant numbing sensation. You look down at your hands, wondering how you got here when someone calls out from behind you.

“That was probably the single-dumbest thing I’ve ever seen you do, Karn.” the voice calls, you turning and seeing the familiar speaker.
“Oh, hey Towa.” you say, seeing the familiar demon princess. “So I’m out cold? Wha-What happened?”
“You almost died. Again.” she says, sounding more pissed off than you can remember. “I TOLD you that your Legendary power would be far harder to control than normal, and what do you do? Go for the single-riskiest thing you could have possibly done, short of waltzing into the Time Nest itself! What! Were! You! Thinking?!”

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” you say, trying to reach out and hold her. But as soon as you try to move your arms wider, a burning pain erupts from the center of your chest. “GAAAH! Dammit, what the hell?!”
“I just told you, idiot, you almost died!” she shouts, at this point nearly hysterical. Towa dashes to you, grabbing you by the front of your armor. “What the hell were you thinking, trying to create a Legendary Oozaru?!”

“I’m afraid that’s my fault.” she says, releasing you and laying her hand flat on your chest, right over the scar her Mira gave you. “I wasn’t certain before, but now I am: when I healed you that day, I must have done something wrong. Chaya’s not back from Dreadzone yet, and Caulifla’s also asleep on the ship with Maz and Kaylr. Your old man Tatsu brought them back while you were down, he-“

You both turn, sensing an unfamiliar yet extraordinarily high powerlevel approaching the planet. Looking into the sky you see an unusual spaceship, it looking somewhat similar to yours and Freeza’sc but whoever that is inside certainly isn’t one of the Cold clan. Or anyone you could have encountered before, but the titanic ki certainly feels somehow familiar. Who could that be?

“Karn, what do we do about that?” Meloka asks, your wife taking an unconscious half-step back. “It-It’s massive.”
“I’m not sure, but I’ve got a bad feeling about this.” you say, then telepathically contacting King Vegeta. “Hey, we’ve got a massive powerlevel incoming, are you expecting guests?”
“I have no idea who’s ship that is, but they’re not answering out hailing.” Vegeta replies. “I don’t like this. Whoever that is has either nonfunctional communication equipment, or is ignoring us. I’ll be there in a minute, do whatever you think best until I get there.”

And with that King Vegeta ends the communication, the giant ship dropping through the atmosphere.

As you both catch your breath from the sudden exertion, you watch as the ship crashes down to the north of you and Meloka.

“Well, that was fun.” Meloka says, sighing out. “Let’s get over there and finish the rest of them o-“
“You insolent worms!!” a deep, gravely voice booms out from overhead, you and Meloka turning surprised as the massive power drops through the air, impacting the ground right before you both. The shock knocks the both of you back, you barely managing to keep your balance as it kicks up a huge dust cloud. A moment layer the being’s ki flares up around it, blasting the smoke away. “I shall destroy you for that!”

I imagine the survivors of the siege have pieces of Sangheili armor (or bones) on their outfits as war trophies. I'm imagining some commoner Saiyan with a belt of Unggoy skulls and a Sangheili skull for a shoulder pad.
