Hello my name is DawnQm and I will be running a skirmish of mine. Although the name is a work in progress it is set into the new world a world of mine that originated from everwinter company. If you are familiar with Everwinter Company great! A new system has been made that you will be using rather than the old rules so keep that in mind.
If you are not familiar with everwinter company or skirmish in general I can try explain to you them.

A skirmish is a forum game in which players play the role of chars that participate in a string of loosely connected battles that form a plot.

You as a player will take upon the role of a mercenary, soldier, adventurer, hero, hitman or whatever role that the QM has in mind. Most skirmishes are combat oriented and with the possibility of death (and extreme salt) always in mind so be sure to know about that before heading into one.

In addition Everwinter company is a old skirmish of mine that I ran back in June of last year if you are interested in reading it you can read it here.
Keep in mind there has been changes in both lore and in Gameplay (and horrible grammer) so keep that in mind but with that out of the way away we go!!!

Looking around you notice a small blind man passing out papers and asking the more senior members of the tavern if they can aid in his problem.

Well considering the ruins were dated back into the brass age I frankly have no idea how dangerous it could be but the architects of old did tend to put traps into every little thing that they could. So yes there will be danger, I suspect that another group of wizard or mercenaries have begun to already act on the information so time is of the essence.
The man squints at you for a moment before holding up a hand for you to shake.

The statue chained by a dagger in its stomach glares at Kravi before punching the viyborn in the stomach twice.
Meanwhile the other reloads its crossbow and shoots a bolt at Aldrich who blocks it with ease!

Info on chained: When you cast chain on a target you now have an arcane chain that goes from your hand to the target effectively chaining them to you and you to them. Think of it like a leash and your the wooden post!

As the fire mage prepares another spell his wounds begin to mend and heal ahead a water mage end his incantation as he summons a pillar of ice beneath Crennels feet freezing him and locking him into place.

Meanwhile the golems eyes turn a deep red as the fire mage lets loose a incantation that enchants its gauntlets with fiery power.

A lucky parry and a shove from Crennel saves his life from fiery doom but his nearly frozen state tells him he cannot do it again.

As the bubble dispells you take the time to leap the fence, quickly snatch the flowers before the statue awakens and pass them to eliziah who has a set of vials ready.

Looking towards the crowd of adventurers swarming into the plaza the two elemental mages turn tail and run. With a smile Eliziah walks ahead as the stampeding of feet sounds the bandits retreat for now.
"Great work everyone I could not have asked for better results !" Eliziah cheerfully announces as he checks his staff to ensure that oil is still in it.

A chant and a wave of flux energy envelops from his hands to the corpse as the corpse shudders before rising to its feet with dulled and dead eyes.

A screech is heard a bit of a ways away as Blue's slime is killed by a bandit Eliziah turns towards blue with sad eyes.

As you sip the water your senses are flooded with a vision of a aged gardener planting a sapling while talking to someone who is hidden from you.
"So what is this sapling?" The man inquires as he studies the plant its leaves glowing a hazey blue glow.
"Its a Viror tree." Comes the voice of a elven man as he comes into view wearing the dress of a priest of the old faiths.
"Imported from the eastern continent it is said that these trees will become treants given time.
"And what would be the reason for that?" The gardener questions as he gazes at the plant unsure if he should touch it or not.
"The nobles and alchemists wanted a centerpiece for the garden my guess. Now would you sprinkle the fairy dust? We have a schedule to keep."
Sighing the old man pulls out a pouch filled with a silvery dust before sprinkling it on the plant which fly from his hand into a spiral motion around the plant before settling on its leaves.
Giving a smile the gardener and the elf leave while your vision focuses on the plant which begins to glow with the color and warmth of the sun.

Looking around you do manage to establish a few things off the bat.
The state of the room is that it is intact as if a wound was left open but did not bleed or ooze. There are a few things you do spot right off the bat is that there seems to be organs in the pits where the eyes are. As if they were protecting it or are a part of it beyond the light from the sun flooding in you cannot tell much about it as you lean over perhaps it could be part of a larger creature? The two pits do not appear to be connected but instead seem to be separate entities or beings.
Regardless looking at the eyes and what organs that you can see you believe you could make a ingredient for some elixir you think to yourself if you can harvest it as you study the rest of the room.
As for the room it is very plain and odd there is no furniture or signs of residence only the walls and floor being covered with a thin film of blood and save for the stench of corruption there seems to be little out of the ordinary as if everything in this room was suddenly whisked away when the corruption appeared.
No signs of struggle, no signs of a spell being cast, the only signs that do remain this room are the eyes which follow your every movement as you investigate the room. Along with the feeling that it you cannot shake that is not just the only thing that has been watching you since you entered this room.

With a roar a horned man sounds the charge for he and his bandits as they charge towards you. Wreathed in a cloak of fire he swipes at Aldrich who manages to block both of his attacks while the other bandits make work of their talents.

As you peer into the well you spot a 'flavor orb' along with various pipes that lead from the well into probably smaller and more localized springs.
The flavor orb you suspect was a way to enchance the flavor of the water from to the public. Although the spices and such within it are long gone the mesh or container still remains along with the pipes.
Sadly both seem to be made of lead, which after sitting in this well for hundreds of years has probably heavily contaminated this well. You make a mental note to not drink the water and you keep your water skin a little more closer to you than before.

As you summon the little lizard from whatever realm it may have been it gives a little yawn before standing upright as your jaw and stomach begin to ache.
Moments later and much to your horror and anyone around you your jaw and mouth slowly begin to morph into a hybrid of dragon and man. As the pain begins to recede you cough up a plume of fire that erupts from your mouth. That may prove useful later.
Mutation gained. Fire breath: You gain the ability to breathe a 2 hex fire in front of you that deals 2d3 fire damage that lights things and people on fires for 3 AP. Although your mouth is more draconian than it was before, just be sure not to have anyone punch you in the stomach you may accidentally breathe fire on them.

With a finger James pointed to the southern fence where he lead Eliziah and the group to the bandits camp.
The camp was a simple spot where tents where propped up the refuse of the mornings task laid around the floor, beaten and dirtied pots coupled with rusted tools lay on the floor.
"Wait here" The mage asked before he and his comrades left where a scraping and the sound of growling was heard before they dragged in a crate with a very angry Viyborn dressed in gladiatrix equipment within it.
"We *huff * found this uhhh whats a good word here that wont get me killed by the priest over their."
"Merchandise, yeah lets go with that. We found her in a cage after we were set to ambush a gang of drows trying to repair a cart. We did and well while we were searching the cart we found this lass within a cage."
James examines the Viyborn for a minute who growls at him.He gives a coyish yet fearful smile at her before turning towards the group.
"We tried to let her go to offer her a position within our group but uhh well when we tried she thrashed Eric over here and nearly killed him. So we put her back in there."
Eliziah raised an eyebrow and made a motion which roughly translated to "get onto the point" to which James sighed and scratched his head.

The discussion carries on for a few minutes with James and eliziah talking to one another.
To anyone listening it does become apparent that whatever relic that Eliziah may be seeking is hidden or is within the core of this plant.
With a smile that can rival the eye of Ovon (The sun) Eliziah turns towards the group as the conversation finishes and the bandits walk away.
"I have just received word that the relic has been sighted! Now back onto what you asked me before Kravi about the Viror tree it seems that the relic or what I am looking for is buried *within* the tree more specfficly it's core. If we kill it, we can pry its core from its dead body! Only problem is James said the tree has become a Treant after all of these years so..."
His face widens into a devilish grin just as the sun begins to set "lets go kill a tree thats older than all of us"

It seems that the powder that Aldrich packed is potent as the musket roars to life piercing the daemon in its skull (?) it twitches for a moment before it is quickly scoured by the power of flame from a fireball produced by Kravi (Unsure if you casted it or wanted to sustain had it so you casted apologies if i misinterpreted) .
Moments later only ashes remain although the squelching of Aldrich being unimpaled are quite concerning.
