The Bonrok family attained it's status through military might. Namely your Mother Leanne Bonrok, is a general in the Holy Imperial Army. And while she doesn't see the battlefield much these days. She was prolific in her days. A fearsome monster of death and carnage. She's an honored and decorated veteran of war. And you respect what she's done.

However, you only wish that your own skills reflected her legendary status. As her only offspring, you feel deeply compelled to carry on your family legacy. However, even though you are technically of noble birth.. And even though this exempts you from being a slave like most other men would be. It doesn't erase the strong manhatred and stifling negative stigma which has all but consumed you.
You are free to do mostly as you wish within the walls. You can visit shops and conduct yourself like an ordinary citizen. However, as a man you're still forbidden from leaving the walls of Valra without certain conditions being met. Most men born within Valra, will die within Valra, forbidden at all from leaving.

The only exceptions are if the spouse of the man grants him permission. Or if the man earns the highest military honor. The Wings of the Dove. It's a medal which grants a male every right that a woman has. And is the highest position a man can hold in the kingdom. Every man aspires to earn his wings, and ascend to that height.

You clear your throat and respond calmly,

"It's Rylan Bonrok. And I don't mind you making fun of my first name. But the Bonrok family name is not to be mocked! My Mother is a hero!"

She snickers cruelly,

She circles around you in a predatory manner with that pretentiously smug grin of hers.

"Don't you think the Imperial Holy Army is just a bit too high to reach for someone like you? You could always join the Stoneguard. I'm sure they'd love to have another brainless male slave down there on the walls."

"No thanks. I'm not interested."

She pulls her sword off her belt still in the sheath and bashes the back of your legs causing you to crumble to your knees. She stands above you towering enigmatically,

"Inferior men like you should know your place. I am Vonna Gracewood. Inheritor of the noble Saint bloodline. And you're nothing but a worthless male commoner playing at this like you're even worth anything."

You snark back at her,

She states firmly,

You stagger, and stand to your feet, your chest pounding as you stare angrily at her,

Vonna and her gang finally walk off. And all on her own, you see your darkly dressed friend Schrella sitting on the ledge of the castle wall on this grey overcast day. You climb up to where she sits overlooking it all. She looks at you with concern,

"You shouldn't be hanging out with someone like me. I'll lower your status even more."

You laugh,

"I'm male, I'm already the lowest status there is."

You say as you climb up on the ledge with her sitting next to her. She chuckles a bit and then speaks,

"You shouldn't let Vonna get to you like that. You know she's just going to beat you down again."

You sigh overlooking the pristine green lands which belong to the blue kingdom. And above it, this overcast of clouds painting a beautifully somber picture. You respond to Schrella.

"I don't understand why they hate men so much.. I mean, I get that men are inferior to women. I understand that the female form is beautiful. And that all women are the true embodiment of God. I try my best to honor them. But they treat me like shit."

Schrella responds,

"They certainly aren't very saintly are they?"

"Schrella.."

Schrella looks off in the distance. She seems happy, having something of a wistful gaze staring out over the horizon.

"Wouldn't it be nice if we could get away from here? Go someplace grand? And you know.."

She leans back on her wrists looking up at the sky and kicking her feet a bit.

"The male form, isn't so bad either."

You feel confused,

"The male form?"

She laughs to herself getting up.

"Forget it.. You know something Rylan?"

You look up at her,

She clasps her hands close to her chest, seeming like she wants to say something,

"I.."

Shes forcing a smile, the wind blowing her long black hair in the wind. Her dark gothic looking armor stands out among the other women in the town.

"It.. It's nothing I'm just.."

She takes in a deep breath,

"I'm.. Really happy we're friends you know?"

You smile,

"Yeah."

There's this sort of fading hopeful expression that she's wearing. What's up with her? Suddenly as if to cut the tension you hear a meow from behind you. You look back to see that grey alleycat with the stripes on it's back that people call Stray. It meows and purrs rubbing itself against your leg.

You smile picking it up and petting it.

"Hey there Stray. I guess you're my friend too huh?"

Schrella is smiling,

"Its weird, Stray never lets any of the women even touch him. He just hisses at them and runs off."

Schrella tries putting her hand up to it, but Stray hisses at her. You laugh nervously,

"Guess it just likes men. Maybe Stray had a bad female owner or something. Huh buddy?"

Stray purrs happily as you stroke its scalp.

The other students all seem to summon birds. Vonna summons up a regal looking large white dove. And then she looks to you. You're sadly doing the summoning ritual trying to get a bird to come up to you. But there's nothing. All of a sudden you hear a familiar meow from behind you.

Vonna laughs,

"Oh that's perfect. How pathetic. The worthless male has a stray cat as his familiar."

The rest of the class laughs. Stray is rubbing up against your leg. And the summoners rune draws itself around the cat bonding the two of you together. You groan.

She laughs,

"Oh I'm going to enjoy stomping you to pieces.. The Bonrok name is dirt, and so are you. So you might as well just admit it Crylan. But you know, if you want to save yourself a beating, all you have to do is just surrender. And agree to be my personal bitch for the rest of your time at the academy. Being a slave is really second nature for a man isn't it? Your only use is just serving your superior female counterparts."

The entire crowd around you gasps in shock. Vonna herself seems caught off guard for a moment but then chuckles,

"Thats amusing. You REALLY think you're gonna win huh?"

She flips her hair. The breeze blows it. Her golden shimmering locks swaying enigmatically. Her toned imposing figure, she's the very image of what a strong, forceful Dove of the Blue Kingdom looks like. She's every bit as beautiful, strong, and fierce as the kingdom desires. As far as recruits for the imperial army go, she's probably the toughest among the new recruits.
Of course, any girl would be tough for you to beat. This kingdom forces all it's females to undergo intense physical training. Every single woman in this town is a ripped battle maiden who can crush men like grapefruits and blend them up into a bloody pulp.
Men are naturally still stronger, but most men don't get the very specialized training that the women get. So in any face to face encounter, the average woman will generally mop the floor with the average weak dummy laborer. And thats how this kingdom prefers it.
You might be fortunate enough to have the training. But your muscles lack strength. You train hard, and yet you don't have the gains to show for it. Talk about crappy genetics. But you won't allow your Moms legacy to be tarnished here. You're going to fight her, and you're gonna.. Well you're gonna try hard to win at least.

She casually walks forward, sword in her right hand.. You're gripping your wooden sword with two hands. She swings fast, and she hits hard. Most Doves strike fast. They're small and nimble. Whereas in comparison the Red Kingdoms Lions are Strong and Sturdy. But you're neither. You've got muscles like gelatin, and you move like a man caught knee deep in muck.

Alright think.. You have to think. She's right in front of you, first she'll.. Do a horizontal swing! Vonna swings her sword horizontally, you take every effort to jump back out of the way. You're impressed you actually dodged it, but that was just a warning shot. She's feeling you out. She seems a bit irritated. She probably thinks you intend to cower. And that would be preferred. Even just blocking one of her swings would be tremendously difficult for you. Dodging it altogether is much safer.

Your muscles can't handle these kind of movements.. She grins stabbing down at you. You'll have just one shot.. You roll forward and then thrust your wood sword into her stomach. She visibly gasps getting some wind knocked out of her, but she remains standing. She coughs. You try to swing at her again but she swings back, and the force of her attack sends you tumbling backwards. She clutches her stomach gritting her teeth,

"Oh you're so dead now.."

She delves into a wild fury of slashes. There's no time to read it! You can't run, or dodge! It's hopeless, you try your best to block her attacks. But it's just one wild slap to the face, stomach and legs. Getting pummeled with every missed block. Your vision gets blurry as she gives you one final thrust right into the stomach sending you tumbling over onto the ground. She then steps on your head and yells out,

"Yield!"

It's over.. You never stood a chance.

"I.. I yield."

There is an eruption of cheers from the audience. Schrella rushes over to you.

"Are you ok!? Hang in there."

Vonna walks back over to you seeing Schrella at your side.

"Well well, if it isn't the Cursed Crow? How perfect. Clean up this trash will you?"

Schrella looks at you with deep concern and then she looks at Vonna,

"Vonna you know he didn't stand a chance! You're being a bully, that's not exactly a saintly thing to do."

Vonna shrugs,

"Listen Shrewla, he asked me to fight. And I fought him. I'm not going to back down to some worthless man."

Schrella softly remarks,

"He's not worthless."

Vonna calls down mockingly,

"Aww, is he your little boyfriend now? How cute. The Crow and the loser. The divine grace above really does have a sense of humor doesn't she?"

She laughs and walks away with the group. Schrella pulls you over her shoulder and lifts you up.

You hear a somewhat concerned sounding meow follow next to you. As you and Schrella walk down the street.

They keep the men down because if they rose up, they could tear apart the foundations of our society. When they say they hate you.. They don't mean it. They're just trying to keep the status quo."

This is the first time you think you've ever heard your Mom talk about men as if they could be a threat.

You feel uncomfortable,

She hugs you holding you close. You return the hug feeling a bit confused by all this.

Magic is very difficult to use for a layman, it's usable to a select few specialists, but as of this point in time, mostly useless in war.

Magical artifacts and other things are scattered about the land. Beasts have begun to be tamed for warfare. Many use familiars as a vehicle for this. But there are larger scale beasts which have been tamed. Examples, dragons, and Giant Rocs.

There are also other kingdoms which have different specializations.

The Blue Kingdom specializes in Nimble female warriors with a specialization towards holy magic.

The Red Kingdom specializes in Strong sturdy warriors with a specialization in fire magic.

The Black Kingdom is a kingdom of Traders and Merchants. They deal with everyone, but have a high influx of trade circulating to both the Red and Blue Kingdoms in times of war.

There is an uprising of Green nature specialized magicians but they prefer to keep out of conflict.

There are other smaller kingdoms but the two biggest Kingdoms covering the most landmass are Red and Blue. The most dominant and prevalent forces in all the land.

"I-i mean. Sometimes.. Anyhow, your eyes.. They're not red anymore."

Hopefully no one will notice your sudden change in eye color..

"So wait, you can just.. Give your powers away?"

She nods,

"Yeah, it's nothing special. All inherited bloodline abilities can be given away. I hear even the Lions have their own special heritage type abilities that they can pass on."

"Yeah, I could take them back at any time. But.. I think you'll probably get more use out of them than I will."

"And the dark energy you mentioned?"

"It thrives on negative emotion. The darkness is your negative emotions given will. I think.. If you try it could help with your constitution.. If you kind of.. Reenforced yourself with dark energy, you could be stronger."

"So that's what the power does?"

"Well, you can also project it outwards in manifestations of dark light. Doing that would probably clue the other Doves into realizing you have the Crows power."

"Project.. Outwards?"

She walks up behind you, and raises your right arm. You're facing toward a clay pot outside a shop.

"Grab that jar."

You try to move but she holds you in place.

"No, I mean from here."

"But.. It's too far away."

"Just try it, grasp for it."

You feel confused, but try anyway. You grasp at the pot the pot wavers and floats a bit off the ground with a dark fog surrounding it.

"Now.. Focus, channel your dark power.. Your negative thought.. All the pain, and anguish."

You hear this sort of otherworldly deep droning sound, the black fog forms into massive black tentacles which constrict around the pot. They look like giant black octopus tentacles slithering and oozing around it. This power feels.. A bit sickening to use. You feel the energy swell to and fro within you. Like angry waves on the ocean. You feel this toxic power flowing as the tentacles become more wild, and begin to spread around the pot slithering and spreading out. Like some twisted tree made of snakes.

"Stop, that's enough."

You breathe out, trying to release your grip. It takes a few moments, but the power eventually retracts and releases itself from around the jar, causing it to drop to the ground and break. You get this sickening feeling in your stomach. It almost feels like you want to throw up.

"Are you ok Rylan? You're looking a little sick."

"I.. Yeah, I think.."

You decide perhaps against your better judgment to visit Vonna. You wanted to get away from Schrella for a while. Shes really nice and.. Well you're not sure if you want her as a girlfriend just yet. So what better way to kill time right?

You find her in the upper quarters on a lounge chair clearly meant for the indoors. A male slave is filing her nails, and another is painting her toenails. She sits up in her chair, looking up at you seeming annoyed.

Quick Note: Yes I did want to give you all the option to serve Vonna. I believe I remember seeing a few posts indicating a desire to get on Vonnas good side. And I gave the character a GPS map to say the right things to get into her graces. Yeah it's degrading but if you had wanted to get on her good side, you have to feed her ego a bit, and play her game.

Warriors of both Blue and Red tend to find magic a sort of cowardly act. But magic with enough time can be mastered and used. There is a library in town with tomes. Only members of the church and learned folk really even read them. The others generally just rely on brute strength.


As far as accusations of "railroading", I certainly do have a vision of where the story will go, and there are story beats I want to follow. But I also want to give the players a comfortable amount of choices as well.

And to the accusations of "waifu", I don't really view it that way. I think adventures in general are best traveled with friends and companions. And even better if that journey is with someone you love. I suppose given the nature of it, you can extrapolate a sort of "loose harem" formula, but that's not why I chose to write it this way.

Many of my decisions have been for the purposes of art or aesthetics, or simply because I thought it was cool. I certainly don't consider it smutty in any way. This is extremely tame for the sorts of things I usually write. I hope we can all just relax and have some fun in this setting.

You know, this post reminds me of something I meant to bring up. Maybe it's just this QM's style, but everything here feels very restricted, as if we have little choice. We haven't been allowed to roll for things, and we have long updates that, while more entertaining to read than short ones, make us go longer without choosing an option for ourselves. Defiled by those pigs for all the world to see. The Kingdom was falling apart at the heartbreaking decision to leave them in the hands of the enemy. The rage boiled into blind fury. We wanted revenge, and retribution. We would do something so foul and vile, that the Red Kingdom wouldn't dare to try something like that again. We marched on the Red city. It wasn't a fight, it was an execution. We swiftly rode out to the Red City, and we took the city swiftly and with little resistance. We killed every last one. Man, woman, child. We even killed babies. Not a single life would be spared in this blood purge. We would sate our rage, and make the Red Kingdom feel our fury with everything we had. It was in that time that.."

She stops briefly to collect her thoughts, but then continues,

"There was this couple.. I barged into this house. And they begged me for mercy. They offered me everything. But I wouldn't hear them. And I killed them both without a second thought.."

She takes in a deep breath,

"Those people, were your parents. And then I heard it, the little cries of an infant. I saw you there in the crib. I tightened the grip around my sword, I almost did it. But something in me just wouldn't let me do it. I was overcome with emotion. The sounds of the screams outside. All of it. I lost myself. I sheathed my sword. And grabbed you out of your crib. And through the fire and chaos I escaped the city with you back to Valra."

Your Mom looks somber,

"And that's the truth of it. You're the only surviving citizen of that entire city. Everyone else was purged. I cast a magic spell on you. One that changed your hair to look like mine. But in the process crippled you. I wanted you to live a normal life."

She waves her hand in front of your face. It glows, and you feel suddenly your clothes becoming tight, as your muscles start bulging wildly. Your hair growing into a long brown mane. You run and look into the mirror to see your shredded muscles and jacked appearance.

"This is what you really look like. With all your training, you.. You're truly a Lion."

"Mom-!"

She hands you her sword. She gets down on her knees.

"I killed your parents. And tore you away from your home. Nothing I do will ever cleanse these sins. If you want to kill me for this. You have every right."

Oh, no, I would definitely be pissed. However, if said parent raised me as well as the MC's mother raised him with all the love and attention he needed, I would definitely hesitate before doing anything drastic. Even then, I probably wouldn't kill her.

Thing is, if it were up to me the MC would've been a little more torn upon realising it. His parents are dead by the hand of the woman in front of him, who just so happens to be the person that risked everything to defy her orders to save her and then proceeded to raise him as her own. Quick Note: I don't really feel that I should have to justify how I write my story, but given the inherently controversial nature of it I suppose this comes with the territory.

There seems to be this crazy idea that I want to railroad you. I took your suggestion and gave you dice rolls. I am trying to work with you, but you're attacking me. And I don't much appreciate that.

As far as the fetish thing, a little light femdom every now and then won't kill you. Relax. I'm not gonna start dropping futashit or any of that crap. So you can relax. If you can't handle the more mature themes of this quest, well I'm sorry but you may have to find another.

HOWEVER. My main focus is NOT on the fetish stuff. I do plan to tell a coherent story. Not all stories with sexy themes are inherently bad, or even invalid. You're playing a quest where women rule the world. Try to relax and have a little fun? If you don't like those scenes, feel free to gloss over them and continue to the more plot oriented story elements.


I suppose my pleas will fall on deaf ears, because nuance doesn't exist on 4chins. And talking things out rationally like adults also doesn't exist. I fully expect everyone to get super angry, misunderstand me, and just become completely unreasonable.

The crowd laughs and cheers for Vonna. Dammit, this isn't doing anything. Alright, time to bust out the trump card. You raise your hand and try to grip her. She stands perfectly still and doesn't even seem to care about moving. The dark tentacles wrap around her, coiling along her skin. Alright, now just to squeeze and-

Suddenly a bright shine eminates from her so blinding that it obscures everything. Suddenly through the fog of light, her wood blade surrounded by an aura of light. You dodge away to the side. The light fog clears itself, your tentacles are gone. Dammit all, she was prepared for this.

You charge at her again. She yawns, effortlessly blocking you with just one hand.

She tackles you to the ground and starts smashing your face with the wooden pommel of her sword. It's horribly painful. You focus on making tentacles, focusing all these negative feelings you have. The tentacles grab her and pull her off you suspending her into the air. You stagger to get back on all fours, and then back to your feet.

You feel dizzy. Your mouth is bleeding. Face dripping in blood. You scream charging forwards recklessly. You feel your sword hit, but the blade doesn't stop. Blade pushed all the way through her stomach, piercing her body, squirting blood violently onto the ground. You stop the tendrils, letting her fall to the ground. The crowd gasps. She coughs blood. Some guards come and take her away to get aid. You stand there, battered and beaten. The crowd seems unnerved by you and quietly disperses.

Schrella comes up to you,

"Well, you won! Congrats!"

You turn to her.
