And so everyone goes to their respective activities to ready themselves while you go to Yuu's temporary house. Arriving at the area, the truck stil didn't arrive. Must have stucked on a morning rush. You go inside and knock on Yuu's room.

You run as fast as possible not to miss the school, you have 15 minutes left until the bell rings. There are two options where you could get to the school faster or a little bit late. First is the train which will be leaving shortly in 3 minutes or you could go to the bus where you will be arriving on time but you will be late as you have to run a block away unless you manage to sneak at the back of the school. Changing course, you sprint yourself to the train station where a lot of people are already waiting for the train to arrive. As the train conveniently stop. The flood of people immediately go inside and squish themselves like a pack of sardines forcing their way inside the train. You also force yourself inside the train car and managed to successfully fit inside the god forsaken train. Although a tight fit but you just have to bear with it for 7 minutes.

Arriving at the station, you are 2 blocks away but there is a bus that would lead you to the school bus stop where students can ride it for free. You immediately board up and sit on an empty spot. Looking outside the window, you start to think why would Sachiko try to kill you all one by one. Even though she didn't make an effort to do it, you still can't believe it. And even more so, Kanna is in great danger too. The bus arrived and the students file out where you have 3 minutes to spare. As you go inside, Kanna is the first one to greet you.

"Senpai! Oh I'm so glad you're okay."

"Why?"

"We can't reach you when we tried to call you and when we gone to your home, it's empty. We were worried that something happened."

"Oh! I'm sorry about that. I was with my mother doing something."

reading Raye's skills gave me an idea:
We still have our "Inner Light" functional and it needs to be contained with corruption, otherwise it overwhelm us and destroy us.
Raye can cast normal spells and probably Light based ones too, but she doesn't have any light in herself because she is a shadow.
what if we work as Raye's energy source? in that way we don't need to have sakura blocking the Light and we can put it to more productive uses.

I realized that Junko is missing a couple of skills. Didn't she pick up Elemental Magic and Firestorm from corrupting Rei. If the black hole fails Junko and Reye can both use firestorm on the trash and well...https://youtu.be/1L2qXzMS9Tg

I think Marie's been making new shadows with her puke? The drug shadow is suspect and I figure that's more due to the actual drugs being bizarrely addictive and Yuu's rampage than Marie puking rainbows, but we might need a boating trip anyway. I'm guessing Marie's shadow is actually over capacity or something since while we've been sharing with her, she doesn't have to keep a giant blob of shadow allocated towards not burning up. I guess we get Raye to research on that?

That's why I found things weird about it.
At the least she's "excreting" excess darkness since I guess that's how shadows spread/reproduce, but the rainbow vomit doesn't really match up with the drug thing?(So I'm guessing we have some weird hybrid monster or shadow stalking the harbor (which would explain why it wasn't easy to find like how Junko isn't easy to find compared to regular shadows) or that the rainbow puke is gonna make the new transfer student into a magical girl if she isn't one already.)
Gonna need to find a way to get that under control before our team plunges the whole city into darkness.

Both of them give their affirmatives and get into position. Raye starts casting Firestorm onto the shadow. It sizzles anything burnable but it watery body puts off the fire that makes a stinky steam. You decide to conjure a handkerchief and cover your nose and mouth. Mary elect on a fancy one. A facemask with many intricate designs. While Raye also have a facemask but it would be more akin as halfmask as it covers anything below her eyes. Raye resumes slinging her spells while you start readying your black hole onto your palm.

"Marie, defend me."

Marie goes into your front and into a guarding stance. The boss is very agitated now and started throwing. Raye tries to dodge or at least hide on the trees. Your chance while the boss is distracted.

What do you guys think about digging a pit and then leisurely finishing it off? Basically making a landfill or garbage pit to contain it? The only skills I can think of that would make said pit offhand are the black hole ones though so It's a bit of a gamble on if we want to make a bigger one.

the problem with black hole is that its a literal black hole: we won't be able to gain any corruption from it because it sucks things and then for all intetns and purposes, said items are destroyed forever because we don't know where the items end up at(if they end up at some place and arent just outright destroyed).

That's fair but Junko didn't laugh at Marie, Raye did. It's not Marie's first random outburst and seems to be having more and more trouble with impulse control. Plus, her comment about being a full shadow from an update or two is worrying considering that Mari's personality could not have come back without her maintaining some amount of hope. Marie is our offense in fights so I don't want anything to happen to her with all of the ones looming on the horizon.

The boss moves closer to the trees while Raye keeps casting firestorm to keep it from moving from the side and let it stay at the center......until Raye spell catches one tree on fire.

It's too late. The fire is getting bigger although a little slow due to the tree have a little moist around the bark. Your only concern is due to the branches are a little dry and with the heat of the sun, it will only spread. You spawn several shadowshades and attack the boss shadow. But all it do but to distract it due to its body a muddy one. With no other choice. You inquire Sakura on how to defeat this shadow.

My theory is that she used whatever artifact was talking about to make herself a gestalt like us. She was roughly doing what we were capable of as a shadow and directly absorbing MG powers after all.

Nonetheless it would be a random one. I will leave it to you what to decide with it.

So to surmise, If you want to fix Marie with her hope energy to be same as yours, the Mary inside will clash with Marie who will inherit the hope energy. You won't know what will happen which one should win. Or you restore Raye with her previous personality. The problem is, how much would it be to fix itself.

You then try to fight the shadow that's on the bookshelf. To be honest. This fight is hard when there isn't a lot of room to maneuver.

"Yuu, the room is a very tight fit, let's get out and call Kanna and Natalya."

You rush out while Sachiko is gunning and throwing them like javelin onto the tailing shadowspectre. Grabbing your phone, you dial Kanna phone.

"Kanna? Are you there? There is a problem in Rei's house. Come here quick!"

After the call, Sachiko manage to kill 1 shadowspectre. Both of you got out the house and into the yard. The four shadowspectres are eyeing you menacingly.

The problem with the card is that we we missing for two months already when we sent it. What was junko doing for two months? I think her best excuse for that time is a kidnapping.

I want to at least tell Junko’s mom most of the truth. I just don’t think we could tell Mrs. Mitsukoshi and get her to believe us. She would probably think we are a monster and want us away from her daughter.

We've been doing a nonstop tangle of lies. Just come out with the truth. or at least a portion of it even if we keep it vague.
