You decide to have Shawel scout the watery path solo and report back. She casts a spell to let her breath under water and another that enhances her senses in water. She wades into the little pool a disappears beneath the dark surface.
About 5 minutes later she returns and speaks to you from the water edge.
Shawel: "Christof. I have found the missing children. They are in a large room with 40 or so goblins."

Shawel: "No the goblins are just dancing and playing music, very few guards. Easy prey."
Alina: "Do they have any wizards?"
Shawel: "One looked like a mystic but hes probably just a potion maker."
Ulric: "What about cave trolls or really big buff goblins?."
Shawel: "I didn't see anything like that. But at least two of them had some high quality armour of Luko make."

Shawel: "Good for me. It might be a little slow for all five of us to emerge from the same narrow pool. I saw 3 more entrances to the area, one of them is through that blocked off burial ground, the other is simply through the main corridor."

This is why it is better to wait till some of them are self incapacitated or asleep, they are not in immediate danger. The two in the door seem to be actually dangerous, maybe priorice using the water whip to make them fall? Also, I think it would be a good idea to let the goblins get the swords and then just block them with ice walls. The kids are probably not going to rush to the swords themselves.

You have a boring time waiting around in the dank cave. Quite some time later Shawel comes bursting from the water and breathlessly clambers ashore.
Shawel: "Slavers! The slavers are attacking!"

Needing to act quickly you have everyone charge in to the main entrance. The alternate paths might be too slow. The watery path is pitch black and the burial grounds are still blocked on both the entrance and exit.
You charge in and find the whole area in anarchy. Goblins and slavers snatching the children from each other and fighting all over the place. A pair of goblins carrying Ebelle skitters by you with a axe wielding slaver in pursuit. Kalim throws his heavy cloak over him disrupting his chase.
You yell out loud >"We're here to kill the slaver scum. Stay out of our way goblins!"

The slaver throws off the cloak just in time to see you hammer pay a visit to his face. He takes 16 damage.
Kalim casts Chill Touch Flurries the slaver with palm strikes. The slaver takes 6 and 5 damage. He loses 3 Strength.
A goblin shanks him for 3 damage.
The slaver power attacks you for 23 damage.
A javelin sails past you.

You attack him again for 21 damage.
Kalim repeats his previous attack. The slaver Counter Attacks! doing 38 damage to Kalim. Kalim resists knockdown.
A goblin stabs him but fails to pierce his hard leather armour.
Another goblins rushes in with a sword.

You attack again for 15 damage.
Kalim casts Vampiric Touch and Jabs the Slaver doing 10 damage. Kalim gains 10 hp.
The friendly goblins do 4 damage to the enemy.
The Slaver counter attacks[Flurry] but it fails.

You prepare to finish off the slaver with a power attack. But another slaver charges in to protect his ally. The axe wielder slumps back to recover while a new spear wielding slaver engages you.
You power attack the spear slaver for 24 damage.
Kalim casts Vampiric Touch and Power Attacks the spear slaver doing 16 damage. Kalim gains 12 health.
Axe slaver pops a potion of minor healing.
Spear Slaver stabs your leg for 9 damage.

A slaver holding Ricon over his should tries to escape through the main entrance but he's blocked by an Ice Wall. A goblin with Luko armour drops down to attack him.

Kalim: "Yes."
Kalim spins around and leaps to attack the hammer slaver.
You throw a Toxin of Weakness at the spear slaver. He fails his save and loses 3 points of strength in a toxic purple cloud.
Spear slaver: "*You* poison *me!?*"
Axe slaver power attacks a goblin for 30 damage. Killing the poor girl.
Spear slaver makes a called shot on your leg scoring a Critical hit! Doing 13 damage! You are immune to knock down. You are immune to cripple.

You power attack the spear slaver and your blow connects for 28 damage.
Spear slaver tries to stab you in the eyes but misses.
Axe Slaver gets out a potion of minor healing but it's snatched by a goblin.
Axe Slaver: "Hey!"
The goblin throws it at you. It shatters against your armour and releases healing mist curing you 11 health.

Spear Slaver Defends.
Spear Slaver: "We need Javelins over here! Javelins!"
You jab the Spear Slaver doing 3 damage.
An arrow flies into Axe Slaver doing 9 damage.
Axe Slaver pulls out a throwing dagger and throws it. You hear it stick someone behind you. Probably Kalim.
The Goblin swings his sword at the air pretending to fight but to scared to enter the axe-man's range again.

Spear Slaver Defends.
You Power attack the Spear Slaver for 12 damage. This attack breaches his defences and slays him.
Axe Slaver: "NO!"
An arrow sails into the axe slaver doing 10 damage and killing him.
A javelin flies past you.
A javelin strikes you for 15 damage.

The hammer wielding slaver is also down. Four slavers remain. Only one of them is a melee fighter. It looks like they're ready to fight to the finish.
