In this quest you play as Wade Wakeman, a 16 year old boy with a heart of gold and the wielder of the Omnitrix. This story is being told in an alternate universe, in which there are no longer any remaining Tennysons. Characters from earlier seasons will appear, but not always in a way that you’d expect.

Last time: Wade fought his twin sister and had dinner with his parents, before discovering a strange device that exploded as soon as he touched it.

Rules:
Most dice rolls will be 1d100. Modifiers will be added depending on the situation or on the alien being used. Crit successes and crit fails apply.

To roll dice, type “dice+1d100” in the options field without the quotations.

Once the smoke clears, you move your hand away from your face to inspect yourself.

All in one piece. Good. And your parents are fine too. Thank God…

[Mom]: Honey, are you alright?!

[Wade]: I’m fine, Mom. You?

She nods at you with a worried expression. But Dad on the other hand, looks a little annoyed.

[Dad]: Well, that was disappointing.

[Mom]: David!

[Dad]: What? We waited 15 years for the “mystery box” to blow up in our faces and do absolutely nothing. Do you remember how many sleepless nights we had together wondering what was inside of it? And now we know that it was just a big waste of time. What a bust…

You look down at your feet and pick up a strange triangular device. Its surface is reflective and cool to the touch.

[Wade]: Maybe not…

[Mom]: What’s that?

[Wade]: No idea. But I think I know a way we can find out.

>Transform into Grey Matter and try to figure out how the device works.
>Ask Grandpa or Kirby if they know anything about it.
>Pocket it for now and rejoin your friends downstairs.

You open up your Omnitrix and select Grey Matter, before slamming your hand on the button that pops up. You shrink down to the size of an action figure and inspect the device before you.

[Wade]: Hmm. It's a lock-box of some sort. And it seems to be physically encrypted.

[Dad]: In English, Einstein.

What a cliche line.

[Wade]: Its molecules are constantly shifting around and re-arranging themselves, making it impossible to pick the lock or break it open without damaging the contents inside.

[Mom]: So you're saying that you can't open it.

[Wade]: I never said that. If I can super-heat the exterior and run a negative current through it, I think I might be able to open up the shell without damaging its contents. But I'm going to need to borrow the use of your kitchen.

[Mom]: Can this wait until after dinner?

[Wade]: Fine. I'm starved anyway.

You undo your transformation and start walking back downstairs with your parents. When you return to the table, everyone keeps their eyes trained on you. The commotion up in the attic must have caused some concern.

[Phil]: Everything ok? We heard a lot of noise up there.

>"Yeah, everything's fine." Wait until after dinner to explain everything.
>"How come you never told me about the 'mystery box'?"

[Wade]: We found some weird triangular device and I'm gonna crack it open after dinner. Pass the potato salad, please?

Grandpa raises an eyebrow at your statement while Olivia passes you the potato salad, seemingly missing your statement entirely. She really should get some rest after dinner.

Once everyone's done with their meals, you and your parents help clean up the table.

[Alan]: Thanks for food, Mrs. Wakeman. It was delicious.

[Mom]: Why thank you, Alan. You're all welcome in our house anytime you feel like dropping by.

[Alan]: I appreciate it. We should get going, though. My Dad is probably worried sick about me.

[Julie]: Especially now that he knows about your little secret.

[Wade]: Wait. Alan's Dad knows that he's a mutant?!

[Alan]: Yup. I transformed right in front of him when the invasion started. It was the only way to protect him from those giant frogs.

[Wade]: And...what did he say?

[Alan]: Nothing. He was speechless. I haven't talked to him ever since I made sure he was safe in our cellar. I don't even know if he wants me to come home.

Alan's face drops as he recounts the tale of his father's reaction, but Julie puts a reassuring hand on his shoulder to cheer him up.

[Julie]: He's your father. I'm sure he'll understand once you explain it to him.

[Alan]: I hope so.

[Phil]: You kids need a ride?

[Julie]: Paradox is picking us up. Thanks for the offer though.

[Wade]: This was nice. We should do it again sometime.

[Julie]: Maybe without the life-threatening stakes. Pretty hard to relax when we're getting attacked everyday.

[Wade]: It gets easier when you learn to roll with the punches.

You pull the two of them into a hug and see them off to the front door.

[Alan]: Take it easy man.

[Wade]: You too. And good luck with explaining things to your dad. If you ever need anything, just let us know.

He nods to you and the both of them wave at you before flying off into the distance.

[Kevin]: I should probably get out of here too. My mom wanted me to spend the night in our house again. It'll be the first time in years since I've slept there.

>"It's cool. Just be ready for when we hit the road again. Our summer vacation isn't over yet!"

[Wade]: Tell her I said hi. Also tell her I'm sorry Malware showed up on her doorstep.

[Kevin]: She's a little jumpy from the invasion, but it wasn't a big deal.

[Wade]: You know, if you want to stay here in Bellwood for a while, I won't blame you. We can always hang out later.

[Kevin]: Thanks man. Someday I'll pay you back for everything you've done for me.

[Wade]: No need. That's what friends are for.

He smiles and punches you in the shoulder gently. Still kinda hurts, but you'll never admit to that.

[Kevin]: See ya, Wakeman. I'll make sure this town stays safe while you're gone.

[Wade]: You better. I don't trust those knights or that scientist we met earlier. Take care of yourself, Kev.

After he leaves, you close the door and go back to helping your family. It's a good thing you got Kevin's number before he headed back home. It'll be good to have some actual friends to hang out with once your vacation is over.

You look up to see that K8-E hasn't left your house yet. It can't be good for her to spend this much time apart from her kids, can it?

[Mom]: Why don't you kids make yourselves at home. The guest beds are upstairs for anyone that needs it.

[Phil]: No thanks. I'll take the couch.

[Kirby]: And I'm good with my sleeping bag.

[Dad]: Sounds good to me.

[Mom]: Dad, you know how bad your back is. We can't have you making it any worse.

[Phil]: No really, it's fine. You should see how lumpy my bed in the Rust Bucket is.

[K8-E]: I-I should be getting home soon. I've got a long run ahead of me.

[Mom]: Nonsense! No creature should have to run home so late in the day. Why don't you just sleep here for the night, and get run home when it's bright and early.

[K8-E]: Well I...

She turns her head towards you for a moment, before turning to look at your mom again.

[K8-E]: Yes. I believe that will be fine. Thank you for your hospitality.

[Mom]: Oh it's fine dear. You can sleep with Olivia in the guest room.

Everyone turns to Olivia as she walks up the stairs.

[Olivia]: I'm clocking out early. G'night guys.

She yawns as she continues up the stairs.

(Sorry for the delay. Got caught up with family business. Updates will be coming faster now!)

You turn on the TV and channel surf for a bit until you can find something interesting. A few things catch your eye.

It appears that the general public has become much more xenophobic and intolerant to the fact that aliens and mutants live among us. Some states and countries have even gone as far as to set curfews and organize investigative teams for the sole purpose of rooting out aliens. They display several photos and videos of alien activity, and you even manage to spot a few of your acts of heroism mixed in the bunch. You and your friends should be careful with their secret identities from now on.

One of the most interesting things you've noticed is the reception that the Plumbers are getting. Due to the invasion, they are sen as unwelcome invaders. Law enforcement, government officials, and politicians are outright rejecting their aid and any facilities that they might offer. On the other hand, King Toley and his Forever Knights are being accepted as the saviors who aided Earth's forces in repelling the alien invaders. You don't know how things went so wrong so fast.

[Carol]: Guess we were too late, huh?

You nearly jump out of your chair when you hear Carol behind you. The blonde girl just stares a the television screen with a sorrowful look on her face.

[Carol]: The Plumbers, I mean. Kirby told me that you guys were waiting for a chance to show people that aliens weren't big scary monsters.

[Wade]: Yeah, I-I thought you left with the others.

[Carol]: I went to the bathroom and Malware tried to absorb your Dad's razor. We were just heading out actually.

You hate to say it, but she's right. The Incurseans ruined your chance of introducing alien citizens to Earth. Now you'll just have to wait for your next chance. But who knows when that'll be.

Malware's head peaks over Carol's shoulder, but she doesn't seem bothered by it. She's gotten used to all of this way too fast.

[Malware]: I want to thank you for your hospitality, Wade Wakeman. It was most enjoyable.

[Carol]: And?!

[Malware]: And...thank you for giving me a chance when no one else would. If it weren't for you, I would be imprisoned, ostracized or worse...

[Wade]: I'm glad you found a home to call your own, Malware.

[Carol]: Finally! He's been whining about saying that to you for days now!

[Malware]: I was not!

[Carol]: Was too!

[Wade]: And I'm glad that you made a new friend.

You walk them outside and watch them fly away in the distance. You also remind her to conceal her identity when she merges with Malware. Can't have her popping her head out of his chest all the time. Now, time to hit the hay.

(Continued in Next Post)

You turn off the television and walk upstairs to your room. But not before wishing Grandpa and Kirby good night.

[Wade]: Night guys.

[Phil]: Sleep tight, kiddo.

[Kirby]: Try to rest up, because we're probably gonna have to fight some other random alien tomorrow.

You can't argue with that logic. It feels so weird to be back home after all this time. With everything that's happened, you almost feel like it's been a year or something. But one thing is certain, it feels good to sleep in your own bed again.

Your room is exactly the way you left it. Walls littered with movie and comic posters, figurines and action figures lined up on a shelf, and a dusty laptop that you haven't touched since the summer began. You should probably take it with you when you leave. No use letting it sit there and collect dust.

You lay down on your mattress, wrap your covers over your body and slowly close your eyes.

------------

Suddenly, you wake up with some fuzzy blue figure in front of you. You almost scream, but a clawed hand quickly covers your mouth. After your eyes adjust, you see that your alien dinosaur friend has paid you a visit.

[Wade]: K8-E?

[K8-E]: I needed to see you. These past few days, I've been thinking about many things. But mainly, my thoughts almost always seem to drift towards you. I don't think I can deny the feelings that I have for you any longer, but I just get so scared thinking that I'm going to mess this up. You are very kind to me, and I do not wish to selfishly indulge myself by taking advantage of you. But...no I'm losing track of what I wanted to say. I really wanted you to know that I like you, and I-I wish to initiate the courting ritual that you call "dating". Is that weird? Oh, I'm talking too much again. Sorry, I do that when I get nervous and I-

[Wade]: Yeah, let's do it!

K8-E quickly covers your mouth in a panic. You must've been louder than you thought you were. Hopefully you didn't wake anyone up.

[K8-E]: Shh!

You slowly nod and she uncovers your mouth.

[Wade]: Sorry.

[K8-E]: I'm the one that entered your room without permission. I should be the one apologizing.

The both of you just start laughing in hushed tones, but you aren't sure why you're laughing in the first place. Maybe it's because you're incredibly happy right now.

>You're now in a relationship with K8-E!

[K8-E]: So...what do we do now?

[Wade]: I...I don't know. I've never had a girlfriend before.

[K8-E]: Girlfriend. I...like the sound of that.

She scoots closer to you and wraps herself around your arm. Your heart feels like it could burst out of your chest any second now. She's finally being honest with herself now. But the question still stands. Where do you go from here?

You wrap your arms around your reptilian lover and nuzzle your head against her metallic helmet. It's a bit uncomfortable, but you feel like you never want to let go of her. You caress her shoulder, while she rubs your side affectionately.

Would it be weird if you kissed her? Probably not right? Since she's your girlfriend and all. But, you don't wanna seem too over-eager. You know what?! You're gonna go for it! You've waited a long time for this moment.

You place a finger on her chin and raise her head so that you're facing each other. You stare deeply into her amber eyes, and you assume that she's doing the same. You slowly move your lips closer to hers, and it looks as if she's panicking from your bold move.

A metal mask with orange LED's covers her face, blocking your lips from reaching hers. She then buries her face into your chest and shakes it from side to side.

[K8-E]: Sorry! Sorry! I-I just got nervous.

[Wade]: Don't be, that was awesome! But, we can take it slow if you-

[K8-E]: No! No...I'll be fine. Let's try again.

She raises her mask, puckers her glossy black lips and leans in closer to you. You can tell she's still nervous, since her eyelids are twitching a bit. You should be gentle with her.

You lean in closer to her, tilt your head to the side, and lock lips with her. Unsure of what to do, you lay motionless with your lips pressed against hers. What are you supposed to do now?!

K8-E proceeds to caress your lower lip with her own. Unsure of what to do next, you imitate her movements in an attempt to keep up with her. You forgot that K8-E's a bit more experienced in this department. You're almost tempted to let her take the lead. Almost.

You lock fingers with her and continue making out with her, for what feels like hours. But in reality, it was probably only like 10 minutes. Not wanting to go any further for now, the both of you return to cuddling and drift back to sleep.

---------------------------

Once the sun rises, you're woken up by K8-E preparing to leave.

[Wade]: Leaving already?

[K8-E]: Unfortunately yes. I must return to my family.

[Wade]: Too bad I can't keep you all to myself. Tell them I said hi.

[K8-E]: Perhaps when we both have more time to spare, we can continue from where we left off.

Wait. Does she mean-?!

[K8-E]: Will you see me to the door?

[Wade]: Y-yeah of course!

You quietly walk her downstairs as to not wake the others. You open the front door and watch as she walks away from your house.

Suddenly, she runs back to you and gives you a kiss on the cheek.

[K8-E]: Just so you are aware, it was worth the wait.

She quickly runs back down the road, disappearing from sight as a blue blur.

You feel a burning desire to defeat D'Traxus that you cannot explain! You can't wait to have some more free time. But for now, the world needs saving.

After K8-E Leaves, you can’t seem to go back to sleep. So instead, you transform into Grey Matter and get to work on cracking that physical encryption.

You removed the top of your stove and brought a spare car battery upstairs beforehand so you wouldn’t have to carry it as a Galvan. With a bit of your mechanical engineering prowess, you managed to jury rigg a super-heated conductive coil. You carefully place the negative current clamp on the coil and allow it to speed up the molecules movement, just enough for you to create a gap in the shell of the lock-box. Once you pry it open, you find a slightly smaller triangular device inside.

[Phil]: Morning. What’s going on in here?

You must’ve woken him up with your experimentation.

[Wade]: I’m cracking the lock-box open. Now I’ve just got to figure out what the device inside of it does.

You fiddle with the device for a bit, until the face-plate opens up, and a hologram of some sort is displayed above you. Looks like a galaxy map.

[Phil]: It’s a galaxy map.

[Wade]: Precisely. And it’s showing coordinates to several locations.

[Phil]: But what’s up with those codes next to the coordinates. I don’t recognize them.

[Wade]: It’s digital shorthand. Few use it, and even fewer can understand it. Thankfully, this isn’t a language that the user made themselves. The alphabet corresponds to the galactic standard. And since it’s typed we don’t have to worry about penmanship.

[Phil]: Man, you picked up on that fast.

[Wade]: I know. Weird right?

You take a moment to examine the code, but it doesn’t take long for you to comprehend it.

[Wade]: It appears that these codes are referring to the donors that were involved in the Mutant Regenesis Program. Their identities were kept confidential, but their last known locations were kept on record just in case.

You pause for a moment, double checking the records in case you were wrong. It seems you weren’t. This is...troubling.

[Phil]: Wade? What’d you find?

[Wade]: It appears that I had more than one donor. One of them is recorded as being deceased, but the other is...still alive somewhere.

[Phil]: So Max wasn’t the only genetic sample they threw into the mix.

[Wade]: Precisely. I will have to look into this another time. But for now, we should put all of this back the way it was before mother wakes up.

[Phil]: Agreed. She’s pretty scary when she hasn’t had her coffee in the morning.

You and Grandpa clean up the mess you made, and congregate with the rest of your family in the living room. Grandpa requested that everyone should meet up and decide where you should go from here.

[Kirby]: So, what's the plan?

[Wade]: I was thinking we could meet up with the Plumbers that are stationed on Earth.

[Olivia]: Yeah, but where are they?

[Phil]: I've received word that they're holed up in an open lot downtown.

[Kirby]: Can't see their neighbors throwing them a welcome party after the invasion. They picked a bad time to show up.

[Phil]: You can't choose when disaster strikes, but you can choose when to react to it. These people need their help, whether they like it or not.

[Olivia]: But I heard those Evo-Corp guys are helping people to rebuild their homes for free.

[Kirby]: Well that's not suspicious.

[Wade]: We'll deal with them later. For now, we should head downtown.

[Mom]: You're leaving already?

Your parents walk downstairs after having heard the commotion from your meeting.

[Wade]: Unfortunately, yeah. We'll be come back to visit you later though.

[Mom]: Well, just promise me that you'll be careful. And call every once in a while!

[Dad]: Here's some cash for the road. Try not to spend it all in one place.

>Received $200!

You thank your parents, hug them goodbye and load up the RV.

>Received Laptop!

It takes about 20 minutes to reach the downtown due to heavy traffic, and the crowds rioting in the streets aren't helping. You realize that it's a bad idea for Slate to be seen in public, so you recall him into your pocket for the time being.

You all come across a large white ship that's parked in a large empty lot. Must be what everyone's all upset about.

Several armed Plumbers guard the ship and try to keep the angry mob at bay. Once they see you and your family, they allow you inside. You're led on-board by two masked guards, and lifted up to the bridge. Once you're inside, you see Magister Koba lecturing his subordinates about their conduct in public.

Once he spots you, he dismisses them and walks over to your family.

[Koba]: Well this is a fine mess. Didn't expect the Incurseans to launch a full-scale invasion on a whim. Thanks for the save by the way. I heard about what you did up there.

>"That's not all. Things have gotten pretty messy with the Forever Knights around here."

[Wade]: That's not all. Things have gotten pretty messy with the Forever Knights around here.

[Koba]: I know. It's all over the news these days. I've been informed that these knights are being led by a new faction, so we don't know their intentions.

[Kirby]: Oh I'll tell you what their intentions are. World Domination!

Koba stops to stare at Kirby for a moment.

[Koba]: Who's this?

[Wade]: He's my mentor from another dimension. His name is Kirby.

[Koba]: Another dimension, huh? What am I like there?

He accepted that pretty easily. Must come with the job.

[Kirby]: No idea. I've never seen you before in my life.

[Koba]: Well, it doesn't really matter right now. Do you have any information on these Forever Knights?

[Kirby]: I know about most of the existing factions, but this particular one is new.

[Koba]: So you've got nothing.

[Kirby]: I know that they're working with Elena Validus, and she's a bit of a villain in my timeline. As well as a brilliant scientist, the queen of an alien swarm of nanites, and my ex-girlfriend.

Everyone stares at Kirby with confused expressions.

[Kirby]: It's a long story.

[Koba]: Tell it to my boys in the next room over. We can use all the help we can get.

[Phil]: I'll check in with them too. Need to make sure that the records are taken down correctly.

[Koba]: Please do. These new guys they sent me are more trouble than they're worth.

[Wade]: Anything we can do to help?

You and Olivia stand ready to assist the Plumbers with whatever work they have for you to do.

[Koba]: Yeah, we can use some extra manpower out on the streets. Think you're up for it?

[Wade]: Am I ever! It's Show Time!

Your costume covers your body in a flash of light, while Olivia simply digs her mask out of her bag and places it on her face.

[Olivia]: Oh yeah!

[Koba]: Ugh, kids. You're ride's waiting outside. Big orange truck. Can't miss it.

You and Olivia decide to go join the Plumbers going on patrol. You bring Slate, and Olivia brings Gwen, who was lazily sleeping in the RV this whole time. The two of you exit the ship and look around to see a large orange truck similar to the one Koba mentioned. As you approach it, you're stopped by a giant bug with four eye-stalks on the side of his head.

[???]: Whoa whoa whoa! Slow down there, kid. No one's allowed to touch my vehicle after its just been freshly waxed.

[Wade]: We were sent by Magister Koba to go on patrol with you.

[???]: Oh really? Then I guess you wouldn't mind if I went and asked him then.

[Olivia]: Go ahead. We'll wait.

[???]: Maybe I will.

You all stand there in silence for a few moments before the insect alien flies up to the ship. You can hear Koba loudly scolding him from where you're standing. He returns shortly after, looking rather deflated.

[???]: Well I'm uh...sorry for my rudeness earlier. Had no idea I was talking to the savior of Earth.

[Wade]: It's fine. Can we get moving already?

[Gakk]: Huh? Oh yeah sure! Name's Gakk by the way.

[Wade]: X. Nice to meet you.

[Olivia]: Lucky girl.

[Gakk]: Those are some weird names! Ok, let's hit the road!

You all jump into Gakk's truck, while you recall Slate as a totem.

[Gakk]: Just make sure that you don't get any purple cat fur on my seats.

[Gwen]: Oh I don't shed anymore. Probably the only good thing that Verdona did to me.

[Gakk]: Talking cat! Very nice!

You pull off and scour the streets for any criminal activity. You don't find anything for about 15 minutes, and you're subjected to Gakk's ramblings and rants for what seems like forever. When suddenly, you come across group of masked men wearing purple suits and pointy hoods. They're robbing an electronics store!

[Gakk]: Should we wait for backup?

[Wade]: Dude, we are the backup.

You and Olivia jump out of the truck to confront these Violet Offenders.

You decide to transform into an alien that hasn't gotten too much love lately. You feel your muscles grow and your legs fuse into a tail, as tough scales cover your skin. It's been a while since you've used this transformation.

[Wade]: Oh yeah! Who wants to party?

The hooded criminals point their guns at you and prepare to fire.

Gakk and Olivia take a combat ready stance, but you don't think that's necessary. You slide your shades up and reveal your hypnotic eyes. The Violet offenders easily fall prey to your hypnotic gaze. They must be weak willed.

[Wade]: Ok bros, why don't you all line up and let us slap these cuffs on you.

They line up as ordered and raise their arms in front of them. Gakk and Olivia just stare in amazement.

[Wade]: Single file, guys. Single file.

Gakk fetches the magna-cuffs from his truck and places them on the hands of the subdued criminals.

[Wade]: Now, like, march to the back of the truck and climb in!

Gakk then leads them to the back of the truck, opens the steel door and places them inside.

[Olivia]: That was like, way too easy.

[Wade]: I know bro! No small-time thugs are gonna walk free in our town.

[???]: Hey!

You both look to some large pink alien with stitches all over his face. He wears a tailored purple suit, much like the others, but it looks much more expensive and well made. He's got beady black eyes, no nose and a wide mouth filled with crooked teeth.

[???]: You think you can bust my gig, arrest my goons and just walk away?!

[Wade]: Uh, yeah?

[???]: I don't think so buster.

He digs some high-tech brass knuckles out of his vest and placed them on his hands. He smashes them together for good measure, and a red spark of electricity crackles along the black metal weapons.

[???]: It's pulverizing time!

[Olivia]: Look out! He's got a catchphrase!

He runs toward you, each heavy footfall causing the ground to shake.

>Swiftly dodge his punches, and cause him to trip over your tail when he gets sloppy.

You time out early and select another alien. You've been meaning to try out Hack N'Slash ever since you first got him. The idea of a slasher alien species kind of excites you a bit. You select him and slam down on your Omnitrix. In brief flash of purple light, your body transforms into that of Hack N'Slash!

You form bone gauntlets over your fists and run to meet the pinkish brute head on. He moves to swing at you, but you catch him off guard by swinging right at his fist. With your incredible strength, you manage to pop his brass knuckles and break a few of his fingers with an audible crack. He recoils in pain, and you take this opportunity to destroy the other one. You're somewhat tempted to keep beating on him, but you chalk that up to the savage nature of Hack N'Slash. Instead, you decide to headbutt him with just enough force to knock him unconscious.

Your sturdy skull slams into his face, right where his nose should be. Grandpa once told you that it's best to aim for the bridge of the nose when you headbutt someone. Useful advice for these troubling times.

Once he's down, you kneel down to pick him up and throw him over your shoulder. Just then, a portal opens up behind you. You turn to see several creatures emerge from the red mist. One of which you recognize as Rex.

[Gakk]: More criminals?

The others alongside him are strange in appearance. A high school girl with multiple arms, a giant lizard with a sideways head, and a Wolf-man wearing metallic armor.

[Rex]: You're trespassing on Forever Knight territory. Leave the premises and prisoners at once.

You didn't peg him as the prudish type.

[Olivia]: Or what?

Rex produces those large metal fists from earlier, while he and his gang take combat ready stances.

[Rex]: Or we'll have to remove you by force.

This could get ugly.

Meanwhile...

Dr. Psychobos works diligently on a new project he'd been neglecting for far too long. Lately, he's just been working on upgrades for the Amalgamatrix. Wendy pays him generously, be he wishes that she'd leave him to his own devices for a while.

A violent crash that shakes his laboratory alerts him to his vulgar patron's presence. He scuttles to the door, but it opens before he can reach it.

[Psychobos]: Oh dear. Did you proc-c-cure the samples?

A large, 7 foot tall armored individual towers over him. Its armor and thick plating begin to shift and recede into her gauntlet, before revealing a white-haired woman of average height hiding underneath it all.

[Wendy]: Oh, I did. But I got my ass handed to me doing it!

She angrily walks over to sensitive piece of equipment and kicks it over. Psychobos silently curses the fact that he was unable to prepare for her arrival by putting away his breakable possessions.

[Psychobos]: You are still quite inexperienced with your Amalgamtrix. Controlling two alien transformations at once c-c-can prove to be quite difficult. Not to mention the toll it takes on your mind and body.

[Wendy]: No! I only lost because of his stupid butt buddies. If it were just me and him, I could've trounced him!

[Psychobos]: Were you able to use the Galvanic Mechamorph skin graft that I gave you?

Wendy stares down a her hand, watching the living organism squirm around her fingers.

[Wendy]: No, I didn't get to use it this time.

[Psychobos]: Be sure to test it out next time you are in the field.

Psychobos grabs the gauntlet, slides it off of her hand and carries it over to his workbench.Wendy looks down to examine her hand, only to see a mangled, bony black claw covered in yellow circuit patterns. She cares very little for the sacrifices she's made to get what she wants. The results are all that matter.

[Wendy]: Hey doc, I need you to add another transformation ring. I wanna be a triple threat. I'll pay you in advance.

Psychobos nearly drops his tools in surprise.

[Psychobos]: Another ring?! Are you mad-

Psychobos catches himself before he says something that he'll regret. He turns around once more to avoid making eye contact with Wendy.

[Wendy]: I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Mind repeating it?

[Psychobos]: I said..."Right away, Ms. Wendy".

[Wendy]: Good. That's what I thought you said.

She turns and walks towards the bathroom, feeling another fit of nausea coming on. After splashing some water on her face, she examines herself in the mirror.

[Wendy]: Pull it together, Wendy.

[???]: Wendy...

Suddenly, she sees the reflection of a tall pale, ghost-like figure in the corner of the room. It looks to be female, and it only has one glowing yellow eye in the center of its face. Wendy quickly turn to look at it, but is now unable to find anything there.

[Wendy]: Man I'm losing it.

Session End

Thanks for Playing! Hope you guys enjoyed it.

Rex and his group of freaks are trying to prevent you from leaving with the prisoners. What's the point of claiming territory and restricting law enforcement from doing their job? It just doesn’t make sense. You can try to reason with them, but that would require you to undo your transformation since Hack N’Slash can’t speak.

You set the big guy down and undo your transformation to try your hand at diplomacy. Your watch should recharge fairly quickly, but you'll only get one more transformation before the super cooldown kicks in.

[Wade]: Ok guys, let's all calm down before we start a fight in the middle of town.

Everyone lowers their guard a little upon hearing you attempt to ease the tension.

[Wade]: Shouldn't we be working together instead of fighting each other? We both want to the same thing.

[Rex]: I don't know anything about you or the guys you work for, and i don't care. Whatever the Doc wants, she gets.

He's speaking in a very flat and robotic tone. But considering the things he was doing with his hands earlier, he might just be an android of some sort.

[Wade]: We responded first,so these guys are coming with us. How would you like it if I showed up on your crime scene and stole your thunder?

You can hear the four armed girl beside Rex giggling and eyeing you up.

[Breach]: He's funny. Can I take him home to play?

She says this with the innocence of a child, but it still makes your skin crawl.

[Biowulf]: Focus, Breach.

[Rex]: That's enough!

Everyone goes quiet when Rex raises his voice.

[Rex]: Take your prisoners and leave. If I catch you around here again, we won't be so generous next time.

Breach opens up a portal and the rest of their group walks through it before disappearing in a red mist.

[Olivia]: What was all that about?

[Gakk]: Those pesky knights are claiming territory now. I'll have to report this to Magister Koba immediately.

You pull the passed out mobster into the back of the truck and continue on your patrol.

Along the way, you and Olivia manage to stop a few cases of petty theft with just your magic training. It's pretty easy when you're just fighting normal humans.

>Return back to the base, report your finding directly to Koba and drop off the prisoners

You all decide to return back to the base and report your findings to Koba directly. The prisoners start bumping around in the back of the truck, so you assume that they're starting to wake up.

Once you reach the base, you and the others walk the prisoners to their holding cells. Gakk's packing two plasma pistols so you don't feel the need to transform in order to keep them in line. You notice that there aren't a lot of holding cells in this cell block.

[Wade]: Are there any other cell blocks?

[Gakk]: Nope. This is all we've got until backup arrives.

[Olivia]: And how long will that be?

[Gakk]: Two weeks at best.

[Gwen]: Two weeks?! This cell block's gonna fill up in two days at this rate.

[Gakk]: Look, we have a plan for that. But you're not gonna like it.

You and Olivia give each other concerned looks, before following Gakk to report to Magister Koba.

[Koba]: How'd your patrol go?

[Wade]: We ran into some guys who worked with the Forever Knights. They tried to kick us out of the area by saying that we were trespassing in their territory. Also, we put away some crooks that were robbing an electronics store.

[Olivia]: And was it just me, or were those EVO-Corp guys super hostile towards us?

[Koba]: So it's worse than we thought. The knights and EVO-Corp have been extending their reach in Bellwood, and the authorities are letting them do it. If this were a popularity contest, we'd be losing by a long-shot.

[Wade]: What do we do?

[Gakk]: We let them.

[Olivia]: What?! We can't let them win.

[Koba]: It's not about who wins and who loses. It's about who can bring peace and stability to the town. We don't have the manpower, facilities, or permission to operate within this city effectively.

[Gwen]: But the knights do...

[Gakk]: Exactly. We don't have to like them, but for now they're doing a good job of bringing order to Bellwood.

[Wade]: We don't know enough about them to trust them with this city's safety.

[Koba]: And we'll be patiently watching and waiting for them to slip up. We can't just openly oppose them.

[Gakk]: That'd get us kicked off the planet. Unlike you guys, we don't have the right to be here.

[Gwen]: So, you're just gonna take a back seat while the rest of these guys run the city for you?

[Koba]: It's not that simple, kid.

[Wade]: No, it is that simple. You guys can do what you want. But we're gonna protect this town whether you like it or not.

You and Olivia storm off the ship and contemplate your next course of action.

[Olivia]: What do we do now?

[Wade]: We should try to find a way inside of the EVO-Corp tower. If we can figure out what they're up to in there, then we can publicly expose them.

[Olivia]: Isn't that kinda illegal?

[Wade]: We're vigilantes. Everything we do is technically a little bit illegal. But it's all for the greater good.

If you're going to do this, then you've gotta get a plan together beforehand.

Calling Kevin for backup, and going with Snapdragon for infiltration. Writing...

[Wade]: I've got a plan.

You call Kevin and ask him to meet up with you at a nearby Mr. Smoothy.

[Kevin]: So you want to me to help you break into some big building filled with nerds and knights?

[Wade]: Exactly. We wanna find out if they're really as clean as they say they are.

[Kevin]: Speaking of clean, I heard you wanted to break in through the sewers?

[Olivia]: They'll never expect us to break in through there.

[Kevin]: And where do I factor into all of this?

[Wade]: We just need someone reliable to watch our backs in case things go south.

Kevin leans back in his chair and sips his smoothie while mulling over the offer.

[Kevin]: Ok, I'm in. I never trusted those knights anyways.

You high-five your cousin and make preparations to infiltrate the building. One of which is carefully going through the sewers atop your hover board. Everyone squeezes together tightly in order to avoid the filthy water below them. You really want to avoid having to scrub your costume clean of this filth.

[Gwen]: Ugh. Let me know when this little excursion is over. I'm gonna nap. C'lees!

Gwen says some sort of magic spell and turns herself into a flexible armored suit for Olivia to wear. She's now wearing purple combat armor with a frilled skirt around the waist, a helmet with a built in visor and cat patterns adorned all over.

[Olivia]: Whoa!! This is so cool!

Olivia nearly topples the board from her excitement, but you all barely manage to avoid going over.

[Olivia]: Oops. Sorry...

You finally make it underneath the building, and you jump off the board before confirming your transformation as Snapdragon. Your big splash almost touches Kevin, which causes him to freak out a bit.

You peek through the sewer grates just to make sure that the coast is clear, and it seems that you haven't drawn attention to yourself yet.

You push your body through a vent grate and pull yourself back together on the other side.

[Olivia]: What should we do?

[Wade]: Just stay out of trouble until I come back.

You slither through the vents as silently as possible. Actually, you just realized that you have no idea where you're going. There's got to be an easier way to find the main lab.

Suddenly, an idea pops into your head. You spread your roots deep within the ventilation systems, and focus to sense the vibrations through them. You think you can put together some sentences from the vibrations you're feeling. Which one do you follow?

This one sounds interesting. You create an eye and ear on the tendril near the conversation of interest. You see Elena and Rex speaking to one another in an unusually tidy office.

[Rex]: I wasn't going to actually fight them. Just scare them a little o get them to back off.

[Elena]: Bullshit. I could sense the chemical imbalance in your brain.

[Rex]: It's just...we don't need to tiptoe our way around the situation. We can take these Plumbers and whoever that masked yahoo is.

[Elena]: I understand. But I'm going to need you to be patient. If we are openly aggressive towards law enforcement, then we might incur the wrath of the entire galactic council.

[Rex]: The what?

[Elena]: Don't worry about it. For now, I just need you to keep "The Pack" in line. I'm mostly worried about Breach and Biowulf.

[Rex]: I admit, they've got their faults but-

[Elena]: Breach is borderline psychotic, and Biowulf is too confused to know which side he's on half the time. You need to put your foot down as their leader. We can't afford to slip up now that we're in the public eye.

[Rex]: But-

Elena pulls out a device and clicks a button, causing Rex to fall to his knees in pain. He clutches his head and groans while reaching out toward Elena.

[Elena]: That wasn't a request. It was an order. If you do not wish to comply, then I can always scrub your brain and start fresh.

[Rex]: Okay okay! I get it! Just...turn it off!

Elena narrows her eyes and clicks the button on the device once more, seemingly deactivating it. Rex's breathing has become ragged and he struggles to pull himself up off of the floor.

[Elena]: That is all. Relay my orders to your subordinates.

[Rex]: Yes ma'am.

Rex turns around to leave, but not before scowling at her for a brief moment. Now Elena sits in her office staring at several photos of...you?! Thankfully all of the photos are of your masked vigilante persona. But why is she so interested in you? Never mind that. Now's your chance to get some real dirt on these guys.

>Ask Kevin and Olivia to cause a distraction to get Elena out of her office.

You recall some of the mass you had stretched to other parts of the tower, and send a tendril to the outside of her office door. Seeing that she's using a thick panel of frosted glass as a door, you create a roughly human shaped bundle of vines to fool her.

You put a bit of force into knocking on her door to make it seem authentic.

[Elena]: Come in.

She doesn't even look up as she crosses her legs and leans back in her chair. Well that won't do. You knock again.

[Elena]: I said come in.

She looks up this time to see your plant dummy standing there with his arm raised. You knock again.

[Elena]: Are you deaf or just stupid? I swear, these interns...

Elena gets up to answer the door, and you stretch a tendril down to her desk in order to search through it. You've only got a few seconds to grab something and get out quickly. A few of these files stand out to you, mostly due to their odd names. Which one do you take?

You grab all of the files that you can carry, reel them up to the vent and close the drawers to make it seem like you were never there. Right before Elena opens the door, you drag the vines back into the vent they came from and leave her standing there confused. She turns back around to inspect the room, but doesn't seem to find anything wrong with it and goes back to inspecting your photos.

You pull yourself together and crawl back to where you left Ollie and Kev. You surprise them a bit when you remove the grate and slide your body through.

[Kevin]: What happened? Did you get any dirt on them?

[Wade]: Even better! We hit the mother-load!

[Olivia]: Nice! We're bound to find something evil mixed in there.

You show him all of the files you managed to smuggle out of Elena's office. But, there's one more file mixed in there that you didn't mean to grab. It's got a pretty funny name too. Like a kid in grade school chose it.

[Wade]: "FusionFall"? What's that?

(Posting an update concerning the files you guys found.)

Once you escape the sewers and cover up your entry point, you and the rest retreat to a parking garage and sit in Kevin’s car.

[Wade]: We should read through these documents before the guys at Evo-Corp realize we stole these.

[Olivia]: Right. We can’t have them covering their tracks when they catch wind of our plan.

[Kevin]: So we have to read all of these things?

[Wade]: We’ll split the work up evenly. We each get two.

You decide to read up on the “King’s Ramblings” first. It contains a detailed history of King Toley’s faction. Says here, that Azmuth once made a sword called Ascalon. It was so mighty that it could cleave through reality itself. A brave and noble warrior rightfully took Ascalon from him and tried to use it to end the long, grueling Incursean civil war. But instead, he accidentally destroyed their Homeworld in the process, killing millions. This warrior is thought to be human, and a member of Sir George’s First Order of Knights.

Damn, you almost feel sorry for these guys. No wonder they’ve been taking other people’s planets as their own.

The documents proceed to inform you that Toley and his knights worship technology. Specifically, the kind that Azmuth makes. They’ve also taken an almost obsessive interest in the Omnitrix. They’d heard rumors about it, but their suspicions were confirmed upon gathering evidence from news outlets.

Great. More crazy people after your watch. You relay the information to your friends.

[Olivia]: So these guys worship Azmuth like he’s some kind of god?

[Kevin]: Why would he even make a sword like that? For super-genius, he sure sounds like an idiot to me.

Kevin’s right. Ascalon should never have been created if it can do something like obliterate a planet in the blink of an eye.

[Wade]: What’d you guys find out?

[Olivia]: These “Easy-Bakes” are referring to the houses that Evo-Corp are building for people that were made homeless during the invasion. They built them in a matter of minutes, because they put nanites in the building materials. These building can change their shape, consistency and even move around if they wanted them to.

[Wade]: So Kirby was right about those moving buildings.

[Olivia]: And that’s not all. If people fail to pay the rent on these houses, they can be collapsed or deteriorated on command.

[Wade]: Why would they do that? That would only reflect badly on them.

[Kevin]: Not if they can shift the blame to someone else and label it as sabotage.

This is evil, but not the type of evil you were looking for.

[Wade]: What’d you find, Kevin?

(Continued in Next Post)
>>
[Kevin]: I looked into the “Earwigs” thing, and it looks like they’ve created devices to manipulate people’s minds and suppress their personality and emotions. They’ve only used it on a couple of people. The two names that stuck out were “Rex” and “The Black Knight”.

You and Olivia give each other concerned looks. You’ve met both of them, and it’s starting to makes sense as to why they’d team up with Elena and Toley. They’re being forced to. But you aren’t sure if either of them are even good guys in the first place.

[Kevin]: They also mention that they need to administrate “further testing” before these devices can be mass produced.

[Wade]: That’s the kind of evil I was looking for. Let’s keep reading these.

You move on to that strange “FusionFall” folder you found earlier. It contains detailed information on a distant planet named “Fusion”. It appears that the scientist who found it let his daughter name it. Makes sense.

Planet Fusion sits outside of our galaxy, moving slowly towards the Milky Way. It’s basically an amalgamation of other planets smashed into one, and t seems to be absorbing more planets as it travels through space. The ;ab boys don’t think it’ll become a problem, since it won’t reach our galaxy anytime soon at the rate it’s traveling at. But Elena still ordered for it to be closely monitored should anything change. Well that can’t be good.

You relay the information to your team.

[Kevin]: A planet that eats other planets? That can’t be good.

[Olivia]: Sounds like something out of a game or a comic book. Good thing it’s super far away.

[Wade]: For now. What’d you guys find?

[Olivia]: I checked out the “Bed Bugs” file, and it’s worse than I thought. They’re programming nanites that can look for specific quantities of carbon dioxide. Specifically, quantities that are produced when humans are sleeping. These things are being made to invade our bodies and physically reprogram us. They say it’s going to improve the human body, but it can also destroy it if they commanded it to.

[Kevin]: So they’re basically making us slaves.

[Wade]: Yeah, but it sounds like they haven’t finished producing the nanites yet. We’ve still got time before this gets any worse. You’re up, Kev.

(Continued in Next Post)
>>
[Kevin]: I read up on the “Merry Men” file, and it’s probably the only piece of good news we’ve got. There’s a group of well-trained men that have been destroying Evo-Corp shipments and attacking warehouses. They’ve been lead to believe that these guys have ties to the recently disbanded group known as “Providence”.

You can see Kevin’s facial expression twist into an angry one for a brief moment.

[Kevin]: They also think that the masked vigilante known as “X” is affiliated with them somehow.

[Wade]: Really? Why would they think that?

[Kevin]: No idea, but they have a file on you too. The good thing is, they’ve got the addresses on these warehouses that were attacked. Maybe we can get someone to check them out and see if we can find the shipping routes they’ve been using.

[Wade]: That’d probably be a lot more difficult, but we can deal with all that later. Now, we’ve gotta decide what we do with this information.

>Bring the documents to Koba and get his take on all this before you do anything.
>Leak the files to the authorities and let them sort things out. Their questionable methods will be brought to light.
>Leak the files online and let social media tear them a new one.

>Take Evo-Corp to court!
>Campaign against Evo-Corp by exposing them publicly in a speech filled with plenty of mudslinging. That ought to get their attention.

THEY’RE PUTTING NANITES IN THE BEDS THAT ARE TURNING THE FREAKING PEOPLE INTO SLAVES! WHAT NEXT, GAY FROGS?!
>>
Turn into gray matter and create a computer so they can't track you, then:
>Leak the files to local and global media outlets.
>Leak the files online and let social media tear them a new one.
Make sure to scientifically explain their methods in detail (while being grey matter, make sure humans can understand your rocket science) so no one can say it's fake information.
>>
You decide to leak the content of the files you found to the internet and media outlets. You let the others in on your plan to become an overnight internet sensation, and they’re all for it. But you can’t do it just yet. You’re gonna need your laptop.

You ask Kevin to drive you back to the RV near the Plumber base. You sneak inside, grab your laptop and shoot a text to your folks to let them know that you’ll be gone for a little while. You know how they worry.

You consider upgrading your Laptop with Grey Matter, but you just don’t have the raw materials or the money to buy them. Even with Upgrade, you’d need to stay merged with it in order to keep it upgraded. But what you can do is research the contents of the files with Grey Matter and explain them in a way that contains less sci-fi jargon. And instead of using your crappy laptop, you can use Upgrade to broadcast live, bounce the signal off of several satellites to prevent any signal tracking, and project a 3D image of “X” in front of the camera. A bit of live editing and special effects won’t hurt either.

Next, you need a place to film. Somewhere indistinguishable and cryptic looking.

[Wade]: Either of you guys know a place we can film without being tracked?

[Kevin]: I’ve got a basement we can use.

[Olivia]: That works.

Kevin drives you to his house inside of his sweet stolen car, and his Mother lets you inside because he hasn’t had keys to the front door made yet.

[Mrs. Levin]: Kevin! You brought your friends over?

[Kevin]: Yeah, we needed the basement for a…

[Wade]: Science experiment!

[Olivia]: Yeah, we love science!

Kevin’s Mom seems a bit suspicious, but she decides to trust you anyway.

[Mrs. Levin]: Well, you’re allowed to use the basement for your “science experiment”. Just be careful down there, okay?

[Kevin]: Sure thing, mom.

She lets you inside and you descend into Kevin’s old, musty basement. It looks like somewhere you’d see in a cheesy old horror movie.

[Wade]: Oh yeah. This will do.

[Gwen]: How does this place smell even worse than the sewer?!

You study up on the material you’ll be ranting about and triple check to make sure that people like Olivia can understand it. But you don’t want to reveal too much. If this data falls into the wrong hands, then you’ll end up doing more harm than good.

Once you’ve written your script and rehearsed enough, you think you’re just about ready to get this show on the road! All that’s left is to decide what tone you’re going for.

>Dark and unsettling. You want people to disturbed by what they see and hear.
>Go full "Sarah Mclachlan" and play up the pity card. Everyone likes a good tearjerker.
>Hopeful and inspiring. You need to inspire people to take action against these guys.

[Wade]: Ok I'm ready. Let's do this.

They silently nod as you select Upgrade and transform into him. You then merge with your laptop and add some necessary enhancements. Before the broadcast begins, you beef up your antivirus and editing software. You make sure that the signal is bounced around several satellites for good measure, and give a thumbs up to your friends.

You project a 3D image of your costumed persona, but you make him seem more muscular and masculine than you really are.

[Olivia]: Pfft! Is that what you think you look like?

[Wade]: Shut up. This is just to make sure no one knows what I really look like.

Once all of the kinks are worked out, you make sure the room is completely quiet before you start filming. It's surprisingly easy for you to hijack other people's channels and transmissions. You want to make sure that you're heard by everyone.

[Wade]: Good evening, citizens of Earth. You're probably wondering who I am. You can call me X, but that's not why I'm broadcasting to you all today. I'm here to talk about Evo-Corp. For those of you that don't know, they're a multi-billion dollar company with deep pockets and sinister intentions. They specialize in the development and distribution of innovative technology. But their trademark product has always been the high-tech nano-machines that they "oh so generously" hand out like candy. Pretty nice of them, right? In fact, they're so nice that they've been delivering nanites to the sick and needy, and invading their bodies without their consent. And I'm not just talking about young adults. I'm talking about the elderly, infirmed, children, and infants!

You pause for dramatic effect and display some information on the screen for the world to see. You made sure to re-write and highlight the important bits so that the general public could easily understand it. Someone's trying to track you? Haha nope! Good luck looking for me in China, sucker!

[Wade]: That's right! Evo-corp has been lying to you all for a very long time now. Not only have they been invading your bodies, but they've also invaded your homes. Awfully nice of Evo-corp to rebuild your homes for you after the invasion. It only came at the price of your freedom and well-being.

You pause again for dramatic effect. You really hope this information is getting through to everyone. Or else this'll all be for nothing. Time to bring it on home.

(Continued in Next Post)
>>
[Wade]: Don't believe me? Check for yourselves. I've just sent the schematics for a nanite detector to each and every one of you. And I made sure to be REAL thorough with the instructions, just in case. Those of you who are handy enough to put that together, feel free to take a good long look at your home and the world around you.

You're getting millions of views already! They're loving it!

[Wade]: So you're probably wondering What you're supposed to do now? Do you wait for someone to save you? The police? The Military? No, you need to save yourself. I've given each and every one of you the tools necessary to take matters into your own hands. I'm not giving you permission to riot or hurt an innocent person, but I'm giving you permission to rise up out of your chairs and do something for a change.

You display a projection of the planet Earth and wave the flag of the United Nations behind it.

[Wade]: These Evo-Corp guys thought they could take advantage of us because we were beat down from an alien invasion. They thought we were already defeated. Go out there and prove them wrong!

You raise your hands above your head and cross your arms in the shape of an X.

[Wade]: Give 'em hell!

You end the broadcast by sending the contents of the files to every big media outlet and social media site. That should be enough to seal the coffin. Now, all you can do is wait.

You detach from your laptop and time out early, smiling at your friends.

[Wade]: What? Too much?

[Kevin]: I thought it was cool.

[Olivia]: Yeah, you're totally gonna be a celebrity now!

[Wade]: You think so? Maybe I should make a Twitter account for X. Like "@The OfficialXNotTheRapper".

[Gwen]: Shouldn't you have explained things a bit better for people that aren't tech savvy?

[Wade]: That's why I sent everyone a summarized version filled with hypothetical functions and blueprints. They'll more or less know how they're supposed to work-

[Olivia]: But they won't know exactly how to make them!

[Kevin]: But they'll find out eventually.

[Wade]: Hey, that's the arms race for you.

Mrs. Levin opens the basement door and walks halfway down the stairs.

[Mrs. Levin]: Would anyone like some sandwiches?

You're grateful that she didn't come downstairs any sooner. That would've been pretty embarrassing.

You and the rest of the gang go upstairs for some snacks made by Mrs. Levin. Even Gwen and Slate get to eat some. While you're enjoying the food, you receive a call from Grandpa. He must've seen the broadcast.

You excuse yourself from the table and answer the phone in private.

[Wade]: Hey Grandpa.

[Phil]: Where are you right now? What was all that?! Why didn't you discuss any of that stuff with me, Kirby or Koba?

>"At Kevin's, an informative rant, and we decided to handle it by ourselves this time."

[Wade]: Sorry about not keeping you in the loop, but we needed to wok fast before they had a chance to cover their tracks.

[Phil]: It's fine. I trust your judgement, but next time just be sure to come to me before you decide to put yourself out there like that.

[Wade]: I promise.

[Phil]: So, where'd you get that information anyway?

[Wade]: We kinda broke into their building and stole the files directly from the CEO's office. No one got hurt though.

[Phil]: Oh boy. You're killing me, kid...

Suddenly, a loud crash shakes the ground around you and everyone looks around in a panic.

[Phil]: What was that?!

[Wade]: No idea. Gotta go.

[Phil]: Wait, no-!

You hang up on him and make a mental not to give him a call later.

[Olivia]: What's going on?

[Mrs. Levin]: Something fell from the sky!

You all run to the window to see a tall, grey skinned creature standing in a smoldering crater. It possesses bat wings, dark sunken eyes and sharp fangs peeking out of his mouth.. Alongside him is a giant metallic crab, some human sized warthog and a buff cyborg with feminine facial features. Is she wearing lipstick? Weird...

[Aztak]: Search the area. The signal came from somewhere around here. That transmission confirmed that the wielder of the Omnitrix resides on this planet.

Must be bounty hunters. You almost forgot that bounty was still hanging over your head. His deep voice reverberates through the window you're hiding behind, and you realize just how close this guy is to you. Either that, or he's got some seriously powerful vocal cords.

[Kraab]: Don't tell me what to do, freak show.

Despite his belly-aching, the metallic crab and the others do just as they were ordered to. The big grey guy just shrugs off the insult and continues to search for someone. And you're pretty sure that someone is you.

You need to lure them away from this place. If people see "X" here right after the broadcast, then that might draw too much attention to the Levin family. That and there's loads of defenseless people in the neighborhood.

[Wade]: You guys stay here. I'll lure them away and fight them in a less populated area.

[Olivia]: Oh no. You're not leaving by yourself again.

[Wade]: I can outrun them on my board. You can't

[Olivia]: Well what if me and Kevin chased them from behind in his car. We can pincer them and then...Blamo!

Olivia smacks her fist against her palm for emphasis.

[Wade]: Fine. Just stay back. Like, WAY back.

[Kevin]: We get it.

You sneak out the back and throw your hover board to the ground, before adorning your costume by whispering your catch phrase.

[Wade]: It's show time...

You soar above the Levin household and begin to fly circles around the bounty hunters.

[Wade]: Hey, did you guys know they've got leash laws in this neighborhood? People really ought to keep a closer eye on their big dumb animals so they don't get out of the gate.

You can clearly tell that your cheap insult had the desired effect. Antagonists are way too easy to antagonize. You make a sharp turn and fly down the street.

[Wade]: Catch me if you can, losers!

You're lucky that most of these guys don't have flight or super speed or something. They're kinda just angrily chasing you. The only one who appears to be gaining on you is the big grey guy. Just as you say that, a stray plasma bolt flies over your shoulder. The cyborg woman and the big crab are shooting at you! It takes all of your effort to dodge their shots while remaining on your board. However, you've noticed that both of them are pretty bad shots.

[Wade]: Man you guys suck at this. I guess what they say about bad guys having terrible aim is true, huh?

Your taunts are making the m even more angry, which is making them sloppy. Which is good. Far into the distance, you manage to see Kevin's car chasing after you. Hopefully they don't notice him too.

Eventually, you reach an open lot in front of an abandoned warehouse. Good thing too. You don't know how much longer you could keep this up.

[Wade]: Ok guys, you got me.

The bounty hunters stop in front of you and begin creeping closer. The big warthog is last to catch up, and stops to catch his breath.

[Fistina]: Are you done running, little pipsqueak?

[Thunderpig]: Thunder Pig has suddenly realized that Thunder Pig should do more cardio exercises.

So the robot lady's Russian for some reason, and the warthog speak in the third person.

[Wade]: You're the ones who'll be running after I'm done with you!

This Kayfabe thing is way too much fun. There's something empowering about wearing a mask.

You create a dense ball of plasma and slightly alter its chemical admixture, to create a stun grenade that'll blind anyone unlucky enough to be close to you. The stun is mostly effective on Thunderpig, Fistina and Aztak. Kraab however is virtually unaffected due to his cybernetic eyes. He tries to swing his heavy claw at you, but you counter the attack by grabbing it and swinging him around a couple of times. by the time the others are starting to regain their sight, you use a concentrated blast in order to propel Kraab toward your enemies. Everyone except Aztak is thrown to the ground along with Kraab.

You look up to realize that your friends have already arrived on the scene. The cavalry's arrived!

[Wade]: Lucky Girl, Kev. Deal with other guys.

You grab a handful of rocks and use miniature bursts of energy to propel them at great speeds, creating devastating projectiles to shoot down Aztak. He ascends to the skies and takes evasive maneuvers in order to avoid your pellets, but to no avail. His evasive patterns become very predictable to you, and you manage to tear a few holes holes through his leathery bat wings, causing him to plummet to the ground.

While he's dazed, you look over to your friends to see how they're doing. Kevin's getting tossed around by Kraab and Fistina, while Olivia's backed into a corner by Thunderpig. His laser flail swings wildly as he taunts your cousin. You try to go help her, but Aztak drags you back down and forces you to keep your attention on him.

[Aztak]: You will not escape.

[Wade]: I'm pretty sure you're the one who's on the ropes here, buddy.

You wrestle with the big, grey brute while trying to closely monitor Olivia's fight.

[Thunderpig]: Thunder! Thunder! Thunderpig, hooooo!

Thunderpig swings his mighty flail, and Olivia responds by creating a barrier at the last moment. The flail bounces off of her well timed barrier and flies back into the face of Thunderpig, knocking him out and causing him to fly backward.

Olivia just stares at her hands and basks in the afterglow of her victory.

[Kevin]: A little help over here?!

Olivia snaps back to reality when she sees Kevin getting swung around by Kraab.

[Olivia]: Right! Sorry!

Olivia begins firing mana bolts from her cat themed gauntlets, and they pelt the thick armor of the cybernetic crustacean. You guess you were worried over nothing.

[Wade]: You now have my full attention.

You slam your hands onto Aztak's ears and create an explosion simultaneously, greatly disorienting him.

[Wade]: But after looking at your ugly mug, I kinda regret it.

You finish off Aztak by placing your hands directly on his chest and charging up a large explosion. By the time he realizes what's going on, it's too late. Your smug grin says it all!

[Wade]: Napalm Nightmare!

Everything around you goes quiet for a moment, but then you see a bright flash of orange energy erupt from your hands. A deafening boom follows shortly afterward, and you see Aztak fly a couple meters away from you, before smashing into an old car. The ground beneath you is charred black, weaving a path of destruction leading to a now unconscious Aztak. You look over to Kevin, who's now carrying the severed head of Fistina in his arms.

[Kevin]: Guess that's all of them.

You see Olivia behind him, smiling cheerfully as she gives Kraab one last swift kick to the ribs.

[Wade]: Everyone okay?

[Olivia]: Okay? I feel awesome! I am awesome! Did you see me back there?!

[Kevin]: Yeah, you saved my skin back there. That new costume of yours really kicks ass.

[Gwen]: Hey! Who are you calling a costume?

[Olivia]: I thought you were asleep.

[Gwen]: I woke up in the final stretch. This transformation takes a lot out of me. Good job out there by the way.

[Kevin]: Looks like I'm the only one here without a flashy costume.

[Wade]: Not bad for your furst day on Team Wakeman, huh?

[Kevin]: Not gonna lie. The job does have its benefits.

Kevin shakes Fistina's head around like a snow globe until she starts screaming. You had no idea that she was still conscious or alive.

[Fistina]: Stop! I will crush you!

[Kevin]: Good luck trying without a body.

He tosses her to the side and starts walking back to his car.

[Wade]: I should probably call Grandpa.

[Olivia]: I...don't think you have to.

A large shadow looms over you, and envelops the entire block. You look up to see the Plumber Mothership landing near you.

[Olivia]: We're so totally getting grounded for this.

[Wade]: Maybe they're not mad?

You see Grandpa, Kirby and Koba frowning at you from you cockpit.

[Wade]: Aw man...

What's Olivia in Under-land?
>>
>>3309217
An alt-universe where Olivia is thrown into a nightmarish and nonsensical version of Undertown. She must find her way home, avoid being killed by the dangerous charm hunter, fight her way out of a gruesome civil war, and maybe make some friends along the way. It's more or less just a spin on Alice in Wonderland.

(Just realized I forgot to add a dialogue option from last session!)
After you time out and place the bounty hunters in containment cells, you’re brought up to the bridge for the lecture of a lifetime. Phil and Kirby got over it pretty quickly, but Koba’s still pretty upset with you.

[Koba]: Because of what you did back there, we’ve been placed in a tight spot.

[Wade]: Maybe I should have told everyone to try trusting the Plumbers a bit more?

[Koba]: That’s not what I’m talking about. Plumber HQ picked up on your transmission too. You’ve been summoned by the Galactic Council.

[Phil]: Do they know it’s Wade?

[Koba]: No, they didn’t mention anything about that. But we’ve been ordered to bring you to them. By force if necessary.

[Kirby]: They must’ve seen the Omnitrix in the transmission.

>”Why are you telling me this?”
>”Take me to them. They should know that we’re on the same side.”
>”I don’t trust them. Could you give me a bit of a head start before you start ‘hunting’ me?”
>”I’ll go to see them, but only if my family can come with me?”
>"I'd like to know a bit more about the council members before I decide anything."

[Wade]: Take me to them. They should know that we're on the same side.

[Koba]: Understood. We'll prepare a shuttle for you.

[Kirby]: You sure you wanna do this kid?

[Wade]: It had to happen eventually. I'll meet them as "X" and I'll do it alone. If I bring you guys then that gives away my secret identity.

[Phil]: Just be careful, okay?

[Kevin]: I'm pretty sure he's the toughest guy in this room. He'll be fine.

[Olivia]: Come back as soon as you can, okay?

[Gwen]: He's just leaving for a day. How much trouble could he possibly get into?

Everyone gives a worried look to Gwen. They know exactly how much trouble you can get into in only one day.

[Gwen]: What? Was it something I said?

[Wade]: I'll be fine, guys. I just want to be able to let the council know that I'm not a threat.

After assuring everyone of your safety, you head to the designated shuttle that Koba reserved for you. But the shuttle still needs to warm up. What do you do while you wait?

You check your phone to see what kind of impact you had on the general public.

It looks like you're being discussed on like 15 different talk shows! Evo-corp is under investigation for the allegations you made against them, and some people have already managed to replicate the nanite scanner that you instructed them to make. Once they find conclusive evidence of corporate shenanigans, Evo-corp is going down for good. And you made sure to leave a few notes about that "brainwashing" device they were making.

On another note, it looks like you're becoming really popular on social media platforms. Some people are praising you as a hero, while others are calling you a vigilante or a criminal hacker. That pose you thought of last minute is becoming pretty popular too. But parents are worried because their kids keep crossing their arms and screaming "Give 'em hell!". You can't stop yourself from grinning like a fool when you read that last part. Maybe making a Twitter wouldn't be such a bad idea after all.

Unfortunately, no one has seen King Toley or his knights since the scandal went live. You'' have to deal with him later. You wonder what's going to happen to Rex and The Pack now that Elena's operations were exposed. You make a mental note to check on everyone when you return from your trip.

You mess with the watch for a bit, twisting it from left to right and exploring its functions thoroughly.

Suddenly, you start picking up radio transmissions from somewhere nearby. You try tuning to select which channel you want to focus on. It's surprisingly easy to eavesdrop with this watch. Maybe you have a future as a spy.

>Omnitrix is now synced with Plumber communications.

After a bit more fiddling, you manage to see a bit of what you think is the Omnitrix's source code. Or at least what you can make of it through at least like 4 firewalls and safety protocols. It's best not to mess with this too much. You don't understand half of this stuff. But you're certainly seeing a lot of 1's and 0's. Wait a sec. 1 and 0. 10.

You think you're onto something brilliant here. Kirby did tell you that there was a strange fixation on the number 10 in his dimension.

[Wade]: 1010-

Trixy jumps to life upon you muttering the simple code.

[Trixy]: Yes?

[Wade]: I didn't call you.

[Trixy]: I thought you were using the command code.

[Wade]: Command code? You mean that "1010" thing?

[Trixy]: Command code 1010 received. Would you like to activate life-form lock?

Trixy sounds more robotic than usual. It looks like you flipped some sort of switch with that command code.

[Wade]: Uh...maybe later?

[Trixy]: Very well.

>Life-form lock is now unlocked! (Whatever that is...)

You'll have to try this function out later. Looks like the pilot's just arrived.

You board the shuttle with Koba and strap yourself into the seat. Out of all the spaceships you've been in (Like 2 or 3) this one has got to be the crappiest. There's junk and rust everywhere! They could've at least tried to clean up before you got in.

[Notch]: Buckle up, bucko. We're lifting off.

[Wade]: Got it.

You feel the shuttle leave the ground and watch as you quickly fly away from your beloved home town. You hope Bellwood will stay in one piece while you're gone. Once you exit the atmosphere, you summon Slate and let him run around for a little while.

[Koba]: Okay kid, I need you to let me do most of the talking.

[Wade]: No problem. I'm not big on politics anyway.

[Koba]: And one more thing. I need you to wear these when we get there.

He pulls out a pair of magna-cuffs and presents them to you.

[Wade]: You couldn't mention this before we took off?

[Koba]: Would you have agreed if I said anything like that back there? And your family wouldn't have let me hear the end of it.

Well he's got a point there.

[Wade]: I'm willing to do it if I have to, but can't we just say that I came with you willingly?

[Koba]: That's only half the problem. We need them to feel safe around you. They'd never admit it, but they're afraid of you and what you represent.

[Wade]: And what do I represent?

[Koba]: Another D'Traxus waiting to happen.

You sigh deeply and lean back in your seat.

[Wade]: Can't we wait until we actually get there.

[Koba]: Yes.

You both sit in your seats silently, the only noise being from the hum of the engine.

[Koba]: Thank you for cooperating.

[Wade]: Yeah yeah...

After about an hour, you see a large white structure floating in the empty void of space. It reminds you of the Watchtower that the Justice League operated out of when they were in space.

[Notch]: Now approaching Plumber HQ.

Notch flies right into the middle of the massive tower after he receives permission to dock. Koba offers you the magna-cuffs and slap them on after unbuckling your safety belt.

[Koba]: You might want to suit up, kid.

[Wade]: Oh right. It's show time...

Your lack of enthusiasm is evident as your suit forms over your skin. Oddly enough, it forms underneath the handcuffs without difficulty.

After docking, you exit the ship with Koba grabbing your arm tightly and leading you off the ship. You're met with murmuring and whispering in alien languages. You're a bit nervous too, but your mask does a good job of hiding it.

[Koba]: Just keep your head down.

Suddenly, Koba stops walking and forces you to stop with him. You look up to see an elderly alien woman with an entourage of muscular masked Plumbers in red armor. She has green skin, with brown blotches on the tendrils protruding from her head. The shape of her face is a bit odd, making her chin a bit more pointy than a human's, but not it's not at all off-putting to you.

[Magistrata]: Is this him?

From the way she walks, to the way she talks and carries herself, you're guessing that she's in charge around here. Or at least she wants to be. She looks you up and down before returning her gaze to your mask.

[Koba]: Yes ma'am.

[Magistrata]: Strange. I thought he would be taller.

Considering she towers over Koba and the other Plumbers around her, she's got some pretty high expectations. She turns around and simply gives a small gesture before everyone follows behind her. Even Koba looks super tense.

[Koba]: Come on.

Everyone moves out of your way as you're walking through the halls. Must be because of the green lady and her silent guards. You've never actually seen someone walk with their hands behind their back until now. It's probably the only thing making this tense situation a little less nerve-wracking.

(Continued in Next Post)
>>
Everyone stops before a large pair of doors carved from stone. It really stands out in the middle of a space station.

[Magistrata]: Before we go in, I wish to see it.

[Wade]: Excuse me?

You accidentally let this question slip out of your mouth. You freeze up for a moment, but you're a bit surprised to see the uptight woman smiling once more.

[Magistrata]: The Omnitrix. I wish to see it.

[Koba]: ?

[Magistrata]: That's an order, Magister Koba.

Koba releases you from your hand-cuffs and you rub your wrists reflexively. Those cuffs were probably made extra tight to make sure you couldn't reach your watch. The green woman approaches you and grabs your wrist. You let your arm go limp and allow her to inspect the watch. It's not like she can operate it anyway. You notice her guards readying their weapons in case you try anything.

She runs her finger along the grooves and edges of the Omnitrix, and you start to feel a bit uncomfortable. Upon noticing this, she releases your arm and returns to her entourage.

[Magistrata]: You will now present yourself before me and the council.

She presses a button on her wrist and the stone doors open up before you.

[Wade]: I thought you were on the council.

There you go opening your mouth again. You expect to be chastised by her, but she smiles instead.

[Magistrata]: How cute. Let's go.

She and her personal guards lead you inside of the throne room, and you're met by several aliens sitting atop hovering chairs. You see a Galvan, a blue monkey with eight eyes, an alien with a floating metal head, and a tall plant alien with hanging roots. It hurts your neck to look up at them.

The green woman walks to a platform in the middle of the other councilmen and presses a button that lifts her above them.

[Magistrata]: As High Magistrata of the Plumber organization, I hereby call this meeting to order.

[Wade]: Is she that important?

[Koba]: You have no idea, kid.

The floating head alien speaks up first.

[Novak]: Magister Koba. I see you have successfully detained the wielder of the Omnitrix. Pray tell, how did you accomplish this harrowing task in such a short amount of time. Were your previously affiliated with this individual?

This causes some murmuring amongst the councilmen. Damn these guys are sharp. You can never underestimate a politician.

[Koba]: The individual known as "X" willingly surrendered himself and volunteered to meet you all once we contacted him.

[Wade]: It's true, your highness. I wanted to be here.

[Moshae]: Oh? And why is that? What reason could you possibly have for turning yourself in?

The plant alien speaks up next. He looks especially condescending. You're pretty sure he's one of those Florauna you met back in Texas.

This causes them to murmur amongst themselves, but it looks like the Galvan was pleased by your answer.

[Mizaru]: And why should listen a man that hides behind a mask like a coward?

The big blue monkey's outburst causes the room to fall silent once more. The mood of the room sways pretty often.

You fight the urge to say something snarky. This isn't the time or place for that.

[Wade]: I can't do that. It's for my safety and the safety of the people around me. You guys should understand the importance of security and privacy.

Silence falls in the court once more. That's good. It means they're thinking instead of arguing.

[Zennith]: Do you truly wish to help us?

The Galvan councilwoman finally speaks up.

[Wade]: If I didn't want to help you guys, I wouldn't be here in the first place.

Koba gives you a stern glare. You needed to be blunt, or else they wouldn't have gotten the message.

[Novak]: I see. Is that all you wish to say?

[Wade]: Yeah, I'm done.

[Magistrata]: Very well. We will now convene for the final decision. Leave us.

She waves her hand at you, and some of her guards escort you outside of the court room.

[Wade]: I think that went well.

[Koba]: We won't know how it went until we hear their decision. Mizaru and Moshae are still the same hard-asses I met when I was a rookie. That hasn't changed one bit.

[Wade]: The monkey and the plant guys right? They're exactly what i pictured when I thought of snooty, uptight councilmen.

The Magistrata's personal guard lead you to a waiting area with benches. You and Koba are the only ones that sit down, though.

You notice an alien woman staring at you from across the room. "Glaring" would actually be a better term. She's got green skin, backwards legs, three eyes, and two tendrils protruding from the sides of her head.

(Gonna archive the thread after this session. No worries.)

You beckon her to come closer, not wanting to risk getting shot by these guards. Her eyes go wide for a moment, before she walks over to you and draws Koba's attention.

[Koba]: Xylene? I thought you were on Galvan Prime.

[Xylene]: I was, until someone stole the Omnitrix and put us all on high alert.

Ah. She thinks this is all your fault.

[Wade]: See, it's actually a pretty funny story-

[Xylene]: I don't care. The Omnitrix wasn't meant for you.

[Koba]: Xylene. Max has been gone for a long time now. You've gotta let it go.

[Xylene]: So what? Now I'm supposed to be all buddy buddy with this guy because he's Max's replacement?

Ouch. What'd you even do to provoke her wrath?

[Wade]: I'm not replacing anybody. This watch was given to me, and I'm just making the most of the situation. We can't get hung up about petty stuff like who's supposed to have the watch and who doesn't deserve it. If you've still got beef, come talk to me after I've beaten D'Traxus.

Koba and Xylene seem surprised by how well spoken you are. You've certainly thrown her off her game.

[Xylene]: This isn't over...

She leaves as abruptly as she arrived, and it looks like she's still pissed off at everything and everyone.

[Koba]: Don't mind her. Her and Max were real...close back in the day.

[Wade]: Any other crazy alien exes I should watch out for?

[Koba]: None that I know of. Let's hope it stays this way.

One of the guard's gauntlets makes a pinging sound, and he turns to Koba before uttering strange guttural noises that you don;t understand.

[Koba]: He says that the council has made their decision.

[Wade]: Well, that was fast.

[Koba]: Yeah, but I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Come on.

You both get up and head back to the throne room. It's time to hear the decision that they've made.

Meanwhile...

Charles Albright father helps his son pack his bags, double-checking to make sure that he has everything he needs. It's with a heavy heart that he sends his son away to a boarding school. Things are just too confusing for him right now.

[Charles]: Did you pack your toothbrush?

[Alan]: Yeah Dad. I just don't see why I have to go to this stupid school.

[Charles]: You now why. I don't know how to provide for you or protect you. You don't think the rest of the town saw your little light-show? What do you think they're gonna do to you once they learn you're half-alien? How'd that even happen anyway?!

[Alan]: I don't know! I thought we'd be able to work things out with them and show them that not aliens are bad.

[Charles]: This ain't the city, boy. You know what people can do when they're scared, confused and ignorant. I just want you to be around people who are more like you.

[Alan]: What? You mean freaks?

Charles leans down to meet his son at eye level.

[Charles]: I was going to say special. You've got a gift, son. I won't deny that. But you need someone to help you through this and provide for you.

He pulls an opened letter from his back pocket and places it in Alan's hands.

[Alan]: "The Morningstar Institute for Gifted Youngsters"? Sounds like a scam.

[Charles]: If you don't like it over there, just give me a call and I'll rush right over to pick you up.

[Alan]: You promise?

[Charles]: Yeah, I promise. Now hurry up. Your bus is here.

[Alan]: Alright. I'll see you later, Dad.

Charles rushes his son out the door, but not before pulling him into a tight hug.
