/qst/ - Quests

You have worked for a week building and assembling your Terran Monastery. After killing the Daemon Prince Sirzechs, the world has started to come into chaos. Will you succeed in protecting Terra from such forces?

Hello again everyone, it seems I have decided to expand on this quest to one more! The reason: the coming story will be too good. Because of your actions, the world is going to adopt a sort of XCOM where you go around and help influence, protect, and fuck people in the world.

For Rolls, here are the Rules:

>Rolls are done with a d100, best of three unless crit failure.

>Crits occur with on 1 and 100 respectively.

>getting above a Hundred based on mods is an achievement in of itself, you will likely succeed every time you manage this.

>Roll when I do ‘>Roll’

Besides that the usual:
>I got final Say

>I will almost always be jumping computers, so the IP and username changes a lot. Keep that in mind if tage that ‘The REDthunderBOAR’ or ‘redthunderboar’ come up.

>Updates when I can, which is quite a lot really.

>As always, try your best to think outside the box. I would love it if you guys do funny shit like try and become high schoolers. I will almost always give leeway to these actions.

The sun went behind the horizon in order to blind itself from the horrors of reality. The area was lit however as a torrent of lightning continued to leave your fingers. The washed out voice of Rias came to your ears, “Is that not enough?”

“I cannot allow even ashes to remain. Chaos is an uncontrollable disease, if even one lives it will spread.”

Her voice was still torn out, “I’m… going to head back. I need to contact Papa.” With that you head her wings flap into the distance.

When the Devil was just out of range you could hear a whistle followed by Raynare’s voice, “Well I’ll be damned to hell. You managed to kill Sirzechs.” You turn to see the Fallen smirking with Walawarner and Asia to her flank.

“Yes, I was able to kill the Daemon Prince known as Sirzechs Lucifer. Did you watch?”

She gave you a smirk, “Yeah, I watched that once sided fight. So what Sirzechs turned into was a Daemon Prince?”

“Yes, though he seemed primitive compared to a full Khornite.”

The girl just shrugged her shoulders in ignorance, “I wouldn’t know the difference. What I do know is you’ve killed Satan of all people, I wouldn’t be surprised if a war starts up.”

“What are you getting at, Raynare?”

Her grin melted into a gloomy frown, “Well I think it would be best to talk to my old Boss, Azazel.” You start to build a psychic pressure to make her sqirm, but she straightens, “W-we can’t fight a coming war alone! Your not from here and Azazel will know where the fighting is!”

>Sounds reasonable, lets contact him.

>No, we should stay as independent as we can.

>Lets contact Rias tomorrow, she should have just as many connections.

>>

“No, Raynare, we will be fighting independently.”

You can hear her tongue click followed by a submissive sigh, “Very well. It’s not like he would answer my calls anyways.”

You looked to where the corpse of Sizechs was, only a black slab of cooling glass remaining. You bent down and gave a mighty lift to draw the Daemon’s remains from the ground. Who knows, maybe you can create a new Chapter Relic with this. For now however, it needed to be contained in the tunnels of the Monastery.

As you made your way in however you saw a giant of a man walking about scratching his head. Before you could say anything Asia bolted from your side, “Issei!”

“A-Asia!” The Space Marine Scout said in surprise. It was funny as the girl was only half the boys size as she hugged his waist, “By the Emperor you are small!”

The girl just giggled a little, “It’s because you’ve gotten so much bigger Issei!”

He checked himself now, comparing his body to Asia’s before looking at you, “So it worked?”

“It has worked on a biological level, you are now a Space Marine. We do however still need to install the machines and cogitators before you can wear Power Armor.”

“Oh, okay.” You noticed the man’s eyes scream out for only a moment as memories of his creation pasted by. If you were to do this again, maybe a less painful method could be used. Though who said the pain wasn’t the point.

With that you made your way into the depth while carrying a bunch of holy relics you snatched off of Asia’s stuff. You don’t have much in the way of holy articles, so these ‘Christian’ ones will do. Suspicion these belong to the Emperor himself only made it better.

Now the tablet laid in an offshoot of the main tunnel, where you will be placing other Daemon artefacts when you are gifted them. For now what should you do?

Since it was getting late you decided to leave his training for tomorrow, for now you will investigate this… Internet.

You moved the cogitators around, the smell of gifted incense flooding the final room of the Monastery’s main floor. You arranged most of them throughout the room, far enough away to prevent their heat from corrupting each other while still being connected. Most were connected to each other, their Machine Spirits purged of the OS, Orcastated Slavery. Now they sung together in harmony, the binary covering both the 10 screens you’ve arranged and your own HUD.

Now that they were set up, you brandished the small cogitator you got from Kalawarner. After a quick scan, you realized that the device connected to a greater, but primitive, Vox network. You modified a group of Vox caster, now able to pick up the Vox channel of the smaller Cogitator without being the same.

After you finished this, you flipped the master switch.

“Praise the Omnissiah.”

The dozen screens and hundreds of cogitators roared to life, each displaying a message with a humanoid skull behind it.

+++[Praise the Omnissiah!]+++

So you decided to start your search…
>>
“H-Heresy! There’s so much Heresy!”

This might be the first time a person from the Imperium witnessed the actions of primitive humans. There was so much Heresy in this world that the Inquisitors would have called an exterminus.

You started with dialing random codes and numbers, soon your cogitators were processing thousands upon thousands of Machine Spirits worth of Slaanesh worship. Of course it was not as bad as the actual worship, but Terra was already being attacked by Khorne!

“By the Emperor! Chapter Master!” You turn to see your latest initiate, Issei, trying to best to cover Asia’s eyes. You think to yourself for a moment before you call to him.

“Issei, I do not understand why I am finding Slaaneshie worship on Terra when the Small Cogitator had none of it.”

The man was rapidly nodding, “Y-yeah! I’ll help just turn down the volume I don’t want Asia to hear them do THAT!”

You give an internal shrug as you dampen the noise. You had it on because you wanted every detail, but it seems you’ve just started ignoring it.

The boy let out a sigh, “T-thank you Chapter Master.” He looked about the room taken slightly aback now, “I’m… going to grab a chair for me and Asia. I should show her the Internet as well.”

“I do not want such a pure maiden to be examining Slaanesh worship, initiate.”

The boy shook his head, “That only because you ended up on the bad part, Chapter Master. Just give me a moment.” the boy ran out of the room in blazing speed, leaving a confused Asia with you.

“Is he treating you well, Asia?”

The girl seemed surprised at your question, “Uh, yeah! Issei’s just… different.”

“It is to be expected, I gave him the information about the Emperor last night. He must have realised how valuable you are.”

“Th-that’s not it though.” She said with a hint of confusion, “He’s… more happy.”

You only have a moment to mull it over as the boy brought half a pew into the room, setting the jagged side towards you and beckoning Asia to the finished part. When she was settle, he placed himself between you two with a smile.

“Okay, I’ve got some experience with computers.” He went to crack his knuckles, what came were like gunshots. He seemed surprised but ran with it, “I’ve got to show the Old Geezer and Nun how to avoid porn, at least I’ve had a few nights rest!”

8 KB JPG
By the end you were navigating the web with ease, holding all which Issei told you. How to avoid Ads, Viruses, and Shady Sites were the main part followed by some nice places to go. While Asia was listening to him on that part, you were already navigating through the thousands of chat boards and millions of websites. Now that not everything was porn, you could finally understand things.

You found while a minority of the internet was for the standard Terran citizen, most was used either by companies or governments to transfer information. You yourself placed a number of mining operations in the emails of top officials from around the world. From the US to China, they were now gifting to the Blood Ravens. You were surprised to find little information on the Supernatural, but maybe they used magic to erase their presence mechanically. You just needed to find the inconsistencies.

Asia was slumping over in Issei’s lap, “Hey Chapter Master, I’m going to take Asia to bed.”

“Yes, she is human. Be back though, we need to get the days tasks in order.”

“Yosh!” With that the boy carried the girl out of the room.

You walked out of the room, catching Issei as he was walking out of the Girl’s Commons. He gave you a nod and followed, though you noticed a small black cloth dangling from his pockets. It seems he’s starting to receive gifts, but receiving from the Chapter would be useless.

The two of you now stood in the courtyard, the boy looking confused as you brought over a girthy stick about as tall as him, “Hey uh, what are you doing?”

“We are training, Issei. Receive this spear and we shall start.”

The boy hesitantly nodded and received the wooden spear in hand. You yourself brandished your own, giving it a few practice swings so the Machine Spirits can get a feel for it.

“I have yet to produce Bolters, so we will be practicing melee combat. Come at me, Initiate!”

Your glowing eyes seemed to spook the kid only for a moment, after that he charged with force. His spear was forward and his speed was great, but the boy held the spear body away from his body like a barbarian. With a quick downward motion, the spear landed into the ground.

“You seemed to have grown well Initiate. Tuck the Spear under your armpit, Again!”
>>
It was about midday as Issei charged once again at you, but spear securely tucked into his armpit. You dodge to the left while attempting a sweeping strike where you once were. The boy instinctively stayed his ground though, then he extended the spearhead away from his body with a vine-like grip.

He attempted to jab you three times, but the name of the game with spears was distance. While a sword required you to get close and rip the foe of the Emperor apart, the spear was safer in that you had reach. Perfect for those who worried about numbers like the Custodies and smaller Astartes Chapters.

Of course distance was something to be closed, so you adjusted your grip and went in. The boy himself attempting to match your blows. Though you held back it was obvious the boy was struggling under the mass of the Dreadnought.

What made you smile was the boy’s spark of resolve as he battered away your attack for a disengage. He held his weapon and adjusted his grip once more, though your witch’s sight caught something stirring in that arm of his. A Dragon.

“BOOSTO!”

His hand suddenly became engulfed by a red gauntlet, his aura jumping. He moved faster now, somehow becoming stronger from the artefact. You smiled as his next attack was indeed stronger, so you just stole his spear.

“You have grown stronger, but your enemy has twice the weapons. Continue!”

Not being skilled in hand to hand your attacks made short work of him. Asia, who had awoken halfway through Issei’s training, ran over to heal his battered face while Kalawarner walked over, “Raynare has prepared food, Master.”

“Then we break for dinner. You did quite well Issei, you need to remember a Blood Raven is training you though.”

The boy got up a little with a small grin on his face. Likely because Asia was healing him, but the boy tested out his further developing muscles. Before they were toneless, muscles just grown from magic and flesh. Now they were made by his work, “Yeah, I’ll be there in a moment Chapter Master.”

As you are walking you notice something on the Security Cogitators. Coming up the hill was Koneko looking a bit depressed.

You slip away from the others with the skill of a legendary Blood Raven. You make your way pass a few trees and end up on the base of the hill. You can see Koneko staring up at the hill intimidated, so you sneak behind her and pet her head.

“Are you doing alright little one?”

She reflexively swiveled away from your hand in fear, her body covered in battle wounds. She looked frightened to see you, though that might be how you snuck behind her.

”WHERE DID YOU GET THESE WOUNDS!”

Your anger was paramount as you looked at the girl. From the anger in your voice she fell off her feet and onto the ground. She assumed a fetal position while crying the name ‘Kuroko’.

With a burst of psychic might you scanned the area for Heretics. Any who posed a threat would be killed on sight, heretics that must burn for such treachery. No, burning would not be enough they will be asking their Dark Gods for a way to break this mortal coil.

Though as your Psychic sonar went out, you detected nothing in the region besides the Monastery. Actually, the cloak of darkness that covered this land was slowly being purified as you could feel no Devils.

Turning to Koneko, you carried her like a baby up the walkway. Her tears rolled off your tomb as the trees gave way to a grand building that was your Monastery. As you made your way up, Asia ran in front of Issei and met you in a panic.

“K-koneko!” the boy cried out, Asia quickly brandishing her healing magic. With a hurry, you lead them once again to the medical wing.

_______________

The meal ended, not much said as everyone’s minds were occupied with something. You noticed the place looking much more clean, the Fallen taking the day to sweep out the unwanted gift of clutter and fallen stone.

Asia confirmed that Koneko was far from harm’s way. All wounds and scars disappearing upon her Sacred Gear. For the two, they were walking over to see about cleaning a little themselves. The Fallen said something about getting a bath somewhere in the city, seems they realized the Devils left.

You moved your way into the around the building and into the medical wing. The place was felt dour, the Felin in the center of the room crying into her legs.

You could hear mumbles from here like, “I’m alone” and “A stray”.

It’s only when you are right on top of her when she notices you. Her eyes widened as the feline pupil did the opposite, “D-don’t… Please. K-Koneko is b-bad kitty.”

You raise your hands towards the Felin’s forehead, she herself just stared at it dumbfounded. She didn’t flinch when if formed a prepared flick, Koneko herself just having tears rolling down her face. So you released the flick, her eyes in surprise as she just fell onto the bed with a soft flop.

“Those are bad thoughts, you are a member of the Blood Ravens. We are your family.”

She went back to crying, but you can detect her thoughts have changed to more joyful ones. You kneel at the side of her bed and give her some head pats. She accepted them, now purring a little in a mess of dried tears and a little bit of dried blood.

“Who did this to you, Serf?”

She seemed a little reluctant at first but your kindness pushed through that, “G-Gremory Servants… Tried to execute me.”

The room seemed to become pressurized as you heard those words. To think someone would attempt to kill a Serf of yours, especially Rias Gremory.

Koneko’s eyes widened, “P-please no. Rias had them release me.”

Your anger waned a little, the image of Rias begging a group of Devils not to kill Koneko making sense. Though that left a question,

“Why did they want to execute you?”

She drew circles into the bed covers, “My sister… betrayed our original King. She fled, so they decided to execute me instead.” Tears once again flooded her eyes, “Satan freed me… as a gift to Rias.”

Your eyes glowed a bright white as you channeled the energies of the warp though your armor.

“As acting Chapter Master, an attempt to kill one of our Serfs is an insult to our standing on this planet and yourself. For such an act they will be purged.”

Koneko stared at you in disbelief. You have quickly taken up arms against Devil kind for her, even if it included your Chapter’s reputation.

“Now how do I get to the spawn’s home?”

As you ponder the door swung open with Raynare hosting a large smile, “So we are killing Devils?”

“Yes, Serf Raynare. Would you by chance have the ability to enter it?”

She gave a nod, “Hell yeah, if it means killing Devils.” She produced a small piece of paper and laid it out on the table. Pic Related, “I’m able to open a portal into the Underworld from either the Fallen Lands and Purgatory. From either we can go to the Devil’s homeland, though I suggest from Purgatory since no one likes hanging out there.”

She seems quite excited to be able to kill Devils, though kind of weird to come in right when you were talking about it. Then again the Vox Casters were a max volume….

>>
“Raynare, do you know who would be leading the Gremory Family now? And what of the Devils themselves?”

“Well,” The Angel placed her finger on her lips, “For all Devils there are the other 3 Satans, but they should be pretty distracted with hell becoming hell once again.” She scratched her head, “I don’t know much about the Gremories. I guess the Patriarch would be head since Sirzechs dead.”

“So is there anything we can use in our retaliation? I want to send them a message.”

She gave you a nod, “I think killing a Gremory Servant would be enough. I heard the Gremory treasure their Servants, but they won’t counter attack for few pawns or a bishop.” Though she grew quite the devilish smile, “I heard the Gremory were trying to fuse with the Phenex Clan. The Phenex boy is hated by everyone though, so if you kill him it can be a blow without making a Martyr.”

“Alright then, Raynare. Prepare your Warp Rift, we will be heading to Purgatory.”

Raynare ran to prepare her portal to this Purgatory, you turn around to face Koneko. She was looking upon you in surprise on how fast you are taking action, though you couldn’t have her in a stupor.

“Come, we are going to leave soon for the Underworld.”

She gave you a shaky nod, slowly getting from her seat and following you to the main hall of the Monastery where Raynare was inscribing a sigil. You noticed Asia and Issei staring in surprise while Kalawarner was now working on cleaning the chandelier.

“We will be leaving for the underworld, Asia and Issei. Be sure to continue both your training and work on the Monastery while I am gone.”

Issei gave a slightly shaken nod, but you can trust the boy to defend the girl with his life. Really truely, that’s what mattered the most.

The sigils came to life and lifted off the ground, creating a Warp Rift within the sanctuary, Nothing seemed to be leaking out, so you turn to Raynare who was celebrating.

“You will be coming with us, are you prepared?”

Her celebratory mood seemed to falter a little, “Are you not going to take Kalawarner too?”

“She and Issei will be guarding the Sanctuary while we pay our respects to the Devils.”

“I guess that's fine.” The Fallen shrugged and after a moment, walked into the gate. Seeing her do so willingly, you entered as well with Koneko at your back.

The moment you breached the Warp Rift, you are flooded with the feeling of a thousands of damned souls. Crossing you saw nothing but dark sands going against a black sky, the feeling of Purgatory all the more evident. Normally such a place would quake a mortal to his core, but you were already dead, so feeling like this was a normal day in the battlefield.

You notice Raynare was looking around, so you did the same. There was not much, but there was a small place that seemed to radiate the light of the Emperor.

Raynare noticed your staring at the beacon and started to explain it, “That’s the Angel’s Fortress on Purgatory, Pearly Gates. For any mortal who dies, they will eventually arrive there to await their judgement by the Saint Peter.”

She points to another direction, a way where you can feel a faint whiff of the Devil’s Taint, “That’s the way to the Devil’s Homeland. Ever since their Civil War it’s been a skeleton crew, thus a perfect way in.”

The three of you started to make the trek through Purgatory. Raynare was the one upfront in flight leading while Koneko made a place for herself on your shoulders. The girl seemed to be taking the depression of Purgatory the hardest, but you simply expand your psychic influence to help quell the feelings of sadness.

And sadness was it producing. This place seemed to be home to a large war, skeletons of winged humanoids and monsters laid about the ground at every which direction. Their injuries varied from fractured foreheads to one losing his entire chest. They were remnants of the Great War, most were Demons and Devils. According to Raynare, the main reason why Demons don’t roam the Underworld anymore was that the Devils drove them to extinction using them as meatshields.

The group walked for what were 40 something miles. About midway you decided to sprint while Raynare struggled to keep up. With that decision, you were able to make it to the fortress within an hour.

When the three of you arrived, you looked at what could only be described as a shabbily designed fort. It defended what looked to be a giant warp tear, the walls seemingly rotting out. From here you could see a few Devils just playing cards, others making deals with mortal cash, and even a pair fucking on the job. All and all, an unorganized group of militia men that made PDFs look competent.

Sneaking through this place would be stupid. If these heretics know better than they will make way for you.

Raynare watched in horror as you broke cover, the stomping of your feet echoing in the windless Purgatory. She double timed it to follow you though, confident in your ability to slay Daemons.

So you marched up, the Devils taking note of your presence the moment you were 200 ft from the main gate. They started to scramble to assemble a variety of firearms and magics, but they were in such disorder that you were at the gate.

“H-hey! G-get back human!” One of them screamed down at you in a panic.

Instead of talking however, you sank your metal hands into the giant metal gate. Screams ranged out from the top of the wall as you simply ripped a hole into the rusting gate, the decay far to much to properly open.

With a hole you walked forward, Koneko watching as the Devils fell off this asses in fear. Raynare was just laughing at the terror that Devils could have.

As you were about to make it to the rift the sounds of a gruff man came to your ears, “Who do you think you are?” It was the man that was humping their fellow Devil, now the two were fully dressed in military attire. Even from here you can notice the man has the girl as his Queen.

You stood tall at the rift, staring back at the flabbergasted Devils foolish enough to stand before you.

“I have seen Khornites make better forts from corpses, Devil.”

With a flick of your power, you sent a rock directly into the leader’s face. The Devil falling off the wall as you enter the rift.

What you came out of was something you did not expect. Neither Raynare nor Koneko were surprised, but they might have lived under this unusually purple sky. It was obvious you were in the Warp to some extent, maybe a form of Comeragh maintained to mimic earth. Either way, you looked down to see a stoned road.

“Which way do we go, Raynare?”

Raynare shifted uncomfortably in anxiety, “F-forward I guess, I only know the way to the Fallen Lands.”

“I know way.” Your attention shifted to Koneko who finally snapped out of her funk, “I kind of know the way.”

“It is the best we got, tell me the way Koneko.”

She nodded, pointing forward down the road. To save time, you decide to travel in a brisk run with Raynare flying at your side. Koneko gripped your helm with all her might to stay on, which proved sufficient.

You traveled well for what seemed about two hours. The only things to cause trouble were a couple of very fast cars zooming by, but they were going too fast to care about any of you. It was about then you started entering a small mountain range. There seem to be a couple of Dragons flying around, but they pay you no heed.

“Dragon Mountain Range. We are getting close.” Koneko claimed with confidence.

“And this Riser, do you know where he is?”

She nodded, “Gremory Estate. He is to marry Rias in a week.”

You remember Rias talking about that, so these two men were the same. For today you are just here for retribution though, even if her mate is on the line. It just means you are fulfilling an agreement like a proper Astartes.

Deciding to take a stealthy route, you travel your way about the mountains. After a few miles, the mountains break away to reveal a courtyard with Servants working. With skill found among the Raven Guard, you navigated about their work. You made sure to receive some gifts from them, garments that would look cute on Koneko or Asia. Though they might have a bit too much on the busty side, oh well.

You made it inside the building, allowing you to absorb the Devil’s sense of architecture. It seemed to be Gothic in nature, but none of it was slathered in gold or skulls. It made you kind of sad for only a moment before you realized these were Daemons, they would not understand the Emperor’s sense of style when you shoved it down their throats.

As you navigated, you could see the flow of warp energies of Peerages. It's too faint to make a direction, so you just settle for collecting a variety of vases for the Monastery.

As you traveled though you could hear the sounds of flesh touching flesh. It was behind a door, so you simply went into the ceiling. Raynare followed and Koneko ferociously gripped your back, the two surprise on you managed to fit into the ceiling panels.

Open another panel open, you can see a man dogging what you could surmise is a Felin. To your disgust, there was a look alike riding the other and was french kissing the Devil.

“OH RISER! MOAR MOAR!” The dogged one yelled at the height of her lungs.

The man stopped kissing the other with a smirk, “Yes, sing the praises of Riser Phenex! Enough so my damn bride will want it!” He started to grow faster and harder, obvious this man would be a worshipper of Slaanesh if said god was yet to be born.

You could feel Raynare’s killing intent rise, though such a perfect stealth meant Riser did not detect it. Koneko just squirmed on your shoulder, unable to figure out what to do. The question is, how do you wanna do this?

With a simple hand motion, you give Raynare the signal to kill the Devil. She obliged, dropping from the rafters while producing a Spear of Light in her hands. You watch in satisfaction as the man was scurred by the weapon, an attack going right through his throat and towards his chest. The attack was not deep enough to pierce his heart, but the attack destroyed a majority of his throat.

Fire suddenly engulfed the room, his two concubines instantly turning to ashe as Raynare barely made it out. However fast the fire came however, they went away as the man dropped onto the bed. His dick up the ass of a charred corpse while the other was backing away if scared.

For Raynare, you notice her feet suffered second degree burns. Though that did not really matter as she had the smile of an Imperial Guard who slayed a Chaos Marine, pure adrenaline. You note though, it seems she might have some making of an assassin.

Dropping back into the halls, you notice all the room received were hateful stares. It seemed no one really wanted to deal with the man and what could easily be taken as an episode.

You continue your way, finally making a layout of the building. Now that one target is dead, all you needed was to kill a Servant of Gremory.

”Laliada, lalilada! Stealing everything in sight!”

You sang the unofficial song of the Blood Ravens as you made your way to the Bedroom Chambers. There was nothing on the walls now, the maids were now walking about naked as the day they were born. All for the chapter!

Raynare was flaburgaughtsted at your immense skill, the theft of so much priceless artifacts blowing her mind. Koneko was starting to enjoy herself, holding onto a wad of clothing and paintings with a smiling face.

As you traveled you could hear a pair of people coming down the hall. With skill you hide yourself behind a pillar, your bulky form somehow completely covered by the object's width. With even more skill, you spied on the par while Raynare readied her spear arm.

The pair was a little girl with blond hair and blue eyes, unmistakably related to the barbarous man that Raynare just killed earlier. Next to her was someone dressed as a butler, battlescars adorning his face. Though on closer inspection you could easily tell her was a Servant, one that belonged to the Gremory to be precise.

The butler sounded russian, his voice ruined by years of war, “So why is it you wanted to visit your brother, Ravel? The boy said he wanted to be left alone.”

A bit of flame came out of the girl’s ears, “I felt something in our connection, the bastard. I bet he torched another of his Peerage just because Rias won’t sleep with him. If he doesn’t cut it, I’ll fucking cut his dick off permanently.”

The Butler was taken aback, “That is not a way to talk about your brother. He is an honorable member of Devil society.”

The girl only fumed more, “The guys made our family the laughing stock of the Underworld’s Nobility. He acts no different than the ruffians at Purgatory and would be there if he wasn’t such a precious piece in father’s schemes.”

The man tilted his head, “Don’t you love your brother?”

She produced wings of fire behind her, “If the fucker stops killing my allies out of fucking sexual frustration!”

Ravel could only bicker at Victor for the actions of her brother and how lately he’s become so horrible. It’s been about two years since she joined the his peerage and while he was sexually active with his Servants, this was going too far.

Victor could only scratch at his head at her frustration. Ravel knew she was being bashful to the Devil, one of the many prizes of the Gremory’s Servants. It’s just none of her fellow Peerage members had anything other than fucking her brother on their minds! If you fuck him know your going to die!

“AGH!” Ravel’s flames glew larger, stretching to the walls.

Rictor flew in a panic, “Miss! Please don’t do that, you might destroy the… paintings…”

Ravel quickly looked around, “Are they cleaning the hall Victor?”

The man shook his head while Ravel checked the blank walls, “No, we finished that last week.”

The area suddenly grew painful, Ravel couldn’t help but pick at her lower torso. Everything suddenly felt so painful, like she was being torn apart! Is this an Illusion, are they under attack!

“Victor were-!”Ravel turned to see Victor, a Devil that could be rated at High-Class Strength dangling off the ground. The hum of electronic came to her ears as she looked up to see a behemoth of metal gripping the Devil on one hand. On his shoulder was a Nekomata, Ravel’s eyes widening on the realization of who’s it was.

It was then the thing spoke, a voice so deep and so distorted that it grained on her ear. It was like listening to a dead person who spent too many years in Limbo, so distant and haunting that her very soul seemed affected.

“Those who harm the Blood Ravens and their Serfs shall Suffer in the name of the Emperor.”

Blood Ravens, the single machine that managed to kidnap Rias, remove the evil pieces from her entire peerage, and then slay Lucifer. Ravel’s heart skipped a beat in sheer fear. This creature wasn’t a machine, nor human like Rias suspected. No, he was death, and no ability of the Phenex could protect her from his wraith.

Though he didn’t kill her, the giant moved his finger to the base of Victor’s neck. Like a bottle cap he popped off the Devil’s head with no effort whatsoever. Blood sprayed everywhere, the Death Incarnate dropping the corpse like a piece of waste before disappearing completely.

Blood now covered Ravel from head to toe, the girl dropping into the ground with a thud as the simple terror she experienced was too much.

After your terror incident, you were easily able to snake your way out of the manor without issue. Raynare for the most part was elated on how you treated the Devil, though the pain prevented her from doing anything similar to a victory dance. For Koneko sat on your should in a lax manor while carrying the ever growing sets of maids clothing you have stolen. She had a nice purr humming, enough that it made you cheerful on her acceptance of you.

In the end you acquired about two dozen paintings, three dozen sets of maids clothing, and a number of vases you skillfully balanced in your hands with said stuff in them. All and all you could definitely decorate the Monastery and the girls had enough clothing for the years to come. Though they might want variety as you remember Serfs always complaining about, so maybe you should raid some place other than a Manor for supplies.

Once you all made it to the Dragon Mountain, Raynare stopped, “Okay, I think we are far enough to teleport away Chapter Master. What do you say?”

Your fellow Astartes nodded, “Yes, though it was on the recommendation of Asia. She did not want to see such a place in ruin anymore.”

The one in question twiddled at her thumbs a little as Raynare came through the portal, “My god, what happened here?”

“They picked up and blessed this place by the Emperor. We have brought some gifts from the Gremory's to hang and ware.”

The boy grew a grin, “I’ll prepare some walls for the pictures.” He walked over to take the stuff from you before double taking, “Are those… maid uniforms?”

“Pervert.” Was the response he received from Koneko, but the boy took it in stride.

“I think they will look good on the girls, though is this what the Chapter Master wants?”

“No, they will need different clothing just like yourself. We just raided a Nobles home though, they were plenty.”

The boy tried his best to keep a stern face, “I guess I’ll give them a wash then.”

With that the boy took the clothing and ran off. Raynare went her way into the Female Commons, the sounds of chatter already sounds. The only one with you was Koneko who was liking at her hands like a kitten.

With your actions against the Gremory, you have realized that soon the Monastery will be the center of the spotlight in the Supernatural world. So in order to prepare for the incoming offenses, you need to start the production of weapons and armor.

So you went over to where the mines were, the place you were carving out for the Manufactorium. Images and ideas went through your mind as today you would began the work of the Emperor.
>>
Praise the Emperor’s will, you have done the impossible. You stood in the halls of the Manufactorium, a creation truly worthy of the Emperor. For starters you realized that the mass production of Las Rifles, the main armament of the Imperial Guard would prove less valuable as there were just so few of you. To compensate, you created a Bolter manufacturing wing that consisted of a few rooms.

The other two parts to the Manufactorium is the building of Astartes Power Armor and the construction of a Knight. For Power Armor, you were able to create a system where in about a month of work, you can produce a pair of Astartes Power Armor. The Knights will take longer though, about 6 months for the building of a single one though its value is immense.

To add as a bonus, you were able to create the place with the knowledge of the many STGs and Archeotech you have seen. The place has been built so no 21st Century Human would complain about working within the manufactorium, meaning you could open your doors to the public if you really wanted to. And for regulation, you simply hacked Japan’s database and placed yourself as one of the few and approved firearm manufacturing plants in the nation. And if anyone gets suspicious, they will be receiving the wrath of their Machine Spirits for interfering in the Emperor’s will.

This system you’ve set up would have been the pinnacle of Manufactoriums with the exception of Mars, your Magnum Opus as a Tech Marine. It seems you have appeased the Emperor even after death.

Tears started to roll down your entombed face though. Such a glorious victory for the Emperor and yet you accidently dug into your file on the Primarch. They were tears of both sadness and joy, that you can serve the Emperor in such capacity on Terra, but you will never know who was your Primarch for all Evidence is in the future.

With your help, the Imperium’s future will change and with that the Primarchs will too. There might never be a Horus, Logar, or Magnus, the prominent traitors of Chaos, meaning their potential candidacy might be lost. The mission of the Blood Ravens to learn of our Primarch, it will never come to forwishen.

And so you cried. Cried in the glorious Manufactorium of the Blood Ravens. It must have been for an hour as the sun broke through the Manufactorium’s stain glass windows. But when the sun hit your tomb, you could feel a slight pawing.

Looking down, you saw Koneko picking at your hands with her ears down, “D-Dante, are you… crying.”

“I am crying in joy that with this Manufactorium, it will be a great gift to the Emperor when I meet him. I cry because I will never know my Father, the Primarch of the Blood Ravens in this reality.”

Her eyes widened at your answer, “You… never knew your Papa?”

“Yes, every chapter has a person they call their Father. For the Salamanders it is Vulkan, for the Ultramarines it is Roboute Guilliman. We Blood Ravens lost knowledge of our Primarch, so we always seek it. For me, it is too early to complete the task.”

Her ears went down further than before, as if in a depression, “I… never knew my Father. Kuroko said he was a scientist and Mama was his assistant. There was an accident though, so we were picked up by his partner, Mr. Naberius.” She grew a few tears, “He was nice, b-but my sister, Kuroko killed him. I… was to be executed for his death in place of my sister.”

She was fully crying now, a fellow in her misery was something she was looking for. You have witnessed the death of fellow comrades and the terrors of battle, and you know this one has experienced one at least. But it seems she never really had a stable family, brainwashing likely made the feeling worse.

So in response you pick her up like a baby, just like you had before. You petted her hair, her tears receding with a sense of goodness.

“Do not worry child, remember what I told you when we first met?”

Her eyes widen in your statement, “The Imperium was my family… That they were eternal.”

“Exactly, humanity is destined to rule the stars where the Eldar failed. Once we meet the Emperor, he will bring about the Age of Man before the Eldar ever have a chance of bringing about Slaanesh, before Chaos comes about its vicious form.”

Her eyes widen as she looked at you, a sense of joy coming into them. She then starts to play with her fingers before replying, “Uh, I was wondering… Do you want to give me a new name?”

“A new name, why would I do so?”

”Hmm…. How about Katatea?”

Her face lights up at the name, “That’s perfect!”

You chuckle a little at her response, the little girl happier than a Space Wolf given a bone to chase. You pat her head a little more, the roaring of the Manufactorium processing metals for later in the background.

It was after a few minutes that you received a notification of a group approaching. They wore a pair of nunneries, but it was obvious that they held weapons from their walk. They did not seem hostile though, calmly walking up while staring at the Monastery in the distance with awe.

Noticing the incoming fighters, you place Katatea on your shoulder before heading for the main Monastery. Coming in, you noticed as the other Serfs and your Scout were eating breakfast. Issei gave you a wave, “Hey Chapter Master, wanna join us for Breakfast?”

“No Brother Issei, it seems we have some guess.”

It was Raynare who got up from her seat, already preparing to create a Spear of light, “Guest? Should we give them a warm welcome?”

“Not yet Raynare, these appear not to be Devils but a pair of Holy Women to Christianity. While they are armed, they seem to see this place as more in wonder than hostile terrain. Still, I am no fool and will welcome any assistance.”

Raynare calmed with a sad sigh, though she fell into line behind Issei and Asia who already got up and walked their way over.

With your retinue of Serfs, you came into the main hall right when three knocks were sounded. The knocks were heavy handed, likely the persons straightened their act from earlier. Looking over, you jester Issei to go to open said door.

The boy walked over with a bit of caution and gripped the door, “Welcome to the Blood Raven’s Monastery, I am Battle Brother Issei. May I ask who you are?”

The voice was one that belong to the Sisters of Battle, “I am Xenovia and my partner is Irina. We have come here on behalf of the Church to open communications with the slayer of Satan.”
>>
The boy sounded confused at the names, but beckoned them inside the Monastery. You finally got clear sight of the people, their aura belonging to Sisters of Battle. The first one, Xenovia, seemed to be a disciplined warrior and radiated with the most Holy power. Her partner, Irina, seemed to be a more timid soul but trained all the same.

“I welcome you to the Monastery of the Blood Ravens, Sisters. As the receiver of your persons, may I ask you remove your hoods and give us a proper introduction.”

They nodded, the two removing their hoods to reveal their young faces. The two could be no older than 17, Xenovia having short blue hair compared to Irina’s long chestnut brown hair. All you could say after that was their bosoms matched those of the Sisters of Battle.

Xenovia, the one with blue hair spoke first, “I am Xenovia, a member of the Catholic Church and bearer of Excalibur of Destruction.” She gesture to a sword wrapped in cloth.

Before the other could speak, Issei bursted from the confusion he’s been having, “Irina! Why are you here!”
Her stern face melted as Issei said her name, her face turning into one of pure surprise, “Issei! What happened to you!”

The two rushed to each other, Irina grabbing onto your Battle Brother’s stomach, “How did this happen! What happened to your hair!”

It was obvious the boy was experiencing a plethora of emotions and thoughts, so much that his mind was having problems.

“He has become an Astartes, one of the Emperor’s Angels of Death. I ask that you back away from the boy, he is still being trained. Do you know my Battle Brother from somewhere?”

The girl nodded, “Yeah, we played together in childhood.” She suddenly went to attention, realizing her folly, “Oh, I’m Irina Sir! Wielder of Excalibur Mimic!”

By then Asia already fell out of line, running over to check on Issei who fell into a stupor mumbling ‘Irina’s a girl’. As she shook started to shake the boy, the two’s eyes widened.

Irina was the first to speak, “A-Asia Argento!? Your with the Slayer of Satan!?”

Said girl turned slowly, her face covered in fear, “Um, um, yes? I am with Mr. Dante.”

Irina gave her a happy smile, “It seems you were not a heretic as we feared. Please after this blows over we get some lunch.”

Asia gave her a shy nod, the girl now facing you. Her smile faltered a little upon seeing Raynare and Kalawarner, but straightens, especially when she say Katatea on your shoulder, “We have come here in hopes that you are willing to meet with our higher ups. Since you have slayed Satan, we were instructed to visit this Church. I must say though, it is lovely.”

”That sounds like a good idea, I have been interested in your organization for a while. Though could you give me some information about it, I am not that knowledgeable in your matters.”

“I’d be happy to, though for the slayer of Satan to not know of the Church is weird.” Irina said with a smile, “We are the shepherds of man, trying our best to protect the flock. Me and Xenovia are merely the combat wing, but the Church tries its best to help anywhere it can!”

The girls face turns questioning as she looks behind you onto the Aquila, “I need to ask though, what are you? You feel like us but… you are a pagan.”

“I am no heretic, simply a warrior of the Emperor in his many forms. I believe your God is another face of the Emperor and has protected Terra for centuries.”

The girl eyes seemed to glow, “Than does that mean your God’s chosen warrior after so long?”

“I do not know, Irina. I do know the Emperor works in mysterious ways, no mortal can comprehend such an intellect.”

“Amen to that.” The girl said cheerfully, “I need to ask though, has there been any movement within your territory recently?”

“Only that the Devils fled once their leader was cut down. Though that is not what you are looking for.”

The girl nodded, “Yes, we are currently searching for some stolen artefacts. If any information turns up, I ask you call my phone number.” She handed you a business card, the item so small you had one of the Octoarms take it for you.

She gave you a nod, “With that, I guess we will take our leave! Come on Xenovia!”

”If you are still in the area by nightfall, my doors are open for you to rest and recuperate.”

”That is excellent. Just be sure to take the main path on your return.”

The girls gave you a smile, Irina walking up to Issei, “Hey Issei.”

You send out a job request on the internet using the variety of cogitators. You monitored the job forms, redirecting people onto your page. With this, you manage to get about 100 possible manufactorium workers, though you only have enough room for 50. Being so, you quickly searched through their computers and analysed their search history. With efficiency you cut the number in half, each of the individuals trustworthy based on their cogitator communication, previous experiences, and resistance of heresy.

Of course you needed to pay these people, so you decided that methods needed to be taken. You started to travel from machine spirit to machine spirit, collecting one american dollar from their accounts. You navigated through both firewalls and personal communication devices to collect the tife from Terra, but now you are sitting on a small pile of money.

By the time you finished, the morning had moved to the afternoon. What should you do?

You make your way from the Manufactorium and around the Monastery in a sneaky manner. Through the bushes you could spy the Nuns, their original garb almost completely destroyed. Now they were wearing a pair of skin tight suits which seemed to bore you a little. Why couldn’t their Nuns have Power Armor…

They didn’t seem to notice you, so you appeared behind them in an unarmed position.

“Welcome back Irina, Xenovia. Have you battled anything today?”

“By God, Mr. Dante!” Irina yelled in surprise. After a few breaths she was able to speak in her cheery tone, “Yeah, we got in a scuffle with a powerful Stray. He was at the warehouse on the outskirts when we caught him.”

“That is troubling. Are they not aware of my presence?”

The girl shook her head, “I think he was dropped off. Sometimes if the Church angers a clan they tend to throw Strays at our doorstep, though this one was much more nasty.”

“Hmm, I will look into it then. Do come, the Serfs and my Brother are having dinner now.”

“Nn!” The girl cheered. Xenovia just followed behind in silence as she carried the sword the size of her body.
______

The three of you came into the Kitchen, the stove cooking a hotpot with some of the meat you were gifted. Asia was going around passing plates around while Issei helped. Raynare and Kalawarner were sitting at the table, Raynare still gloating about the kill she made last night much to Kalawarners irritation. Katatea was just sitting on the corner of a table, liking herself but not much else.

Asia was the first to notice and rebounded with joy, “Father Dante! Sisters Irina and Xenovia! You all came for dinner?”

Irina seemed to shuffle a little from your Serf, but her partner responded, “Yes, Mrs. Argento. We would love to have a meal with you.”

Asia didn't falter at the monotone, “Great! Here you can sit next to, uh,” Katatea gave her fellow Serf a stare, “Katatea.” Said cat grew a smile as the Serf/Nun got it right.

The two looked wary for a moment, but decided that Katatea was not the worst company. They took their seats as Asia quickly got them a pair of plates and forks.

It was after a few minutes that Asia brought out the meal, a massive amount of spaghetti, sauce, and meatballs. Her fellow Nuns grew smile twice as big when they dug into the meal, likely they were tired of the local custom for Clergy Food. The two Fallen Angels took up their plates, though they seemed more content in gossiping.

As you watched their plates empty to nothing, you decide that now is a time to start talking,

“I have a question, Irina, Xenovia, and Asia. What is the basis of your God?”

The three just looked at you confused, Issei realizing what you starting talking about and frowned.

Asia was the first to recover with a smile, “Well, God is kind and forgiving. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, he will allow any into Heaven who have repent.” The others nodded their heads in response, though you sense that the other two had more to say.

To this, you remember the Imperial Truth from the First Founding. While you never knew your Primarch, you knew of the quickly disappearing Imperial Truth. You knew that before the Imperial Cult, religion divided humanity.

“Are there other Gods in this world?”

Irina was the one to pick this up, “There are just Pagan False Gods, ones created by the missguided faith of humans. God himself is the one true Gods, all others should just die.”

“Are there any that pose a threat?”

“Well, there is the Roman Pantheon.” The girl tilted her head, “For the most part God has either killed or converted their believers. I guess Buddhist are something, but they are weaklings in comparison to the power and will of God.” Her eyes furrowed in anger for a moment, “Our enemy though is the Devils, they hold the Holy Lands from us for centuries with their mockery of Christianity.”

“The Devil’s hold a great place from your God?”

Anger lights in her eyes as she looks at you, “They don’t care much for those lands anymore. Ever since the old Satans died, only Strays would walk those Deserts. The fools won’t let the exorcist in though, believing their old Devil Masters will come back to save them.”

Xenovia broke her silence, “They are just fools who were tricked by the Whore of Babylon and up kept by their idiocy. It’s getting close to them making a new God though, so the Church is considering different options.”

Your thoughts come in as they talk. It seems that the Emperor has yet to defeat this land, it is only a matter of time before they lose though. With the Emperor’s backing these fanatics will finish his work.

”How is it that they trained you? I see you managed to fight a Daemon.”

With that you learned some information about Church Combat Practices. You can see the Imperial Cult in the works though, it’s obvious the Emperor is trying consolidating the worship from those Pagans to himself, though when will he instate the Truth?

As you entered the Monastery you could see the two Nuns preparing their equipment. For the first time you could see Xenovia’s sword, a weapon that radiated the power of faith similar to a Living Saint’s sword. You could feel that it is, incomplete for some strange reason.

“Before we part, I think you should have this.”

In your hands is a standard Bolter. From your understanding of their training, they were enhanced to a reasonable degree. Since this is the case, this will be both a trial run of the Bolter in this world as well as advertisement.

She looked at the weapon with curiosity, noticing the Purity Seals inscribed all over the piece of work, “I’ve never seen something like this, but it feels holy. Does it still fire Light Rounds?”

”AHahah! You must be jesting Irina. Such punny weapons couldn’t even pierce the hide of a lesser Daemon, let alone your Devils and Fallen Angels. I think it would be best to have a demonstration.”

The two of them looked at you in curiosity, grabbing the rest of their gear to meet you outside the Monastery’s walls. In all honesty the bolter was quite small in your hand. Such a device was built for use by Standard Marines and Inquisitors, not Dreadnought who were equipped with Heavy Bolters and Power Weapons. Though you still prepared it and raised it to the trees.

“This weapon does not shoot light but a chemically propelled loaded bullet. I shall demonstrate what a simple five rounds can do.”

You pulled on the trigger, the nostalgic sounds of a Bolter firing reaching your ears.

The first bullet crashed into a pair of trees and caused a timber. The second and third bolter rounds annihilated the trees with monsterous efficiency, leaving the area cleared for the next couple of rounds. Four and Five tore and blew up their pair of trees with impunity.

Honestly it was an average performance by a Bolter. You wished the attack would have done more in your hands, but it seems you will just need to have them test run it.

As you turned Xenovia was hovering over you with a sense of intrigue. You flipped to grip the body and presented her the grip.

“Why don’t you give it a try, Xenovia. The feeling of the Bolter is another aspect the Astartes enjoy about it.”

She accepted it with a thanks, the weapon the size of a long arm in her hands. She struggled to find a proper grip thanks to it size, but she eventually released a pair of bullets.

Her eyes widened as the bullets left the chamber. You were quite surprised she handled the recoil, but the bullets pierced three trees an total. One of them toppled over while the other two simply became ambers.

She grew a small smile, “I like this.”

“Be sure to bring it back within the month with a report on the efficiency of its use. It is a prototype for Terra after all.”

She turned around and extended her hand for a shake, “I will do so. This was a…”

“Bolter”

Your hand engulfed hers in the shake. While you were tempted to receive her sword, building a relationship with these people might lead you closer to the Emperor.

Irina ran up and gave you a happy smile, “Thanks for the lodge and weapon, but we need to get going.”

>>
You charged Issei once again for the 14th time today, the boy just barely dodging your massive body and swinging for a leg. You jump however, quickly doing a one two step while on your hands. This was the time Raynare came in with a Spear of light, your Octo arms coming for the defence of the main chassis.

She used her size to dodge them, but she did not notice the coming leg. Before she could be hit her fellow Fallen rushed in for a save, narrowly dodging the leg attack as they tumbled.

You tried to advance on them, but Issei decided to engage you instead. Out from the corner of your eyes, you noticed Asia quickly healing their surface level injuries as a skilled medic. As you were being a bit nicer this time, you didn’t engage your Dreadspear to fend off Issei. The girls got up, fully invigorated from their healing.

As they went in though, your Octo arms suddenly became tense and grappled. Katatea was able to sneak behind you and grab onto the devices, though it’s obvious that her strength was not cutting it. When she fought you noticed she preferred strength based attacks, likely a hold over from her time as a Devil.

With that, you were struck in the chest by a pair of Spears of Light. Though the attack did not come close to piercing the armor, they achieved their task of making contact with your chassis.

“That’s it, you succeeded in striking me. And how many days did it take?”

The rest collapsed at they were driven to the brink. Issei was the only one able to speak, likely because of his augmentations, “Ten… I think.”

“Then we train harder. That kind of work is inadequate for a Serf and fighter of the Imperium. For now though, we break for practicing firing rights.”

Of course you were lying to them. They were honestly doing average for such a grueling schedule. You just wish they could go faster, but a year of training can still do wonders.

As they drank their water, you wondered what to do.

Have we asked anyone about suspicious whispering?
Since Dante can still use warp fuckery it's impossible that the warp isn't massively leaking into this dimension.
Would that also mean that the same thing (possibly a rift in reality) that brought Dante here is still there in space?
>>
>>3301868
Well the Fallen Angels walking about and obvious magical weapons kind of says yes.
>>
>>3301874
So that could also mean we aren't the only one that got thrown in here.
(Could be a good excuse to find
an apothecary to help create the required organs to finish Issei's transformation into a space marine.)

>>

Depends on the Marine, because lul Osiris-Pattern Dreadnought
>>

Yeah Dreadnoughts are really tough.
Plus the fact that Dante is a blood raven makes him surprisingly sneaky when he is "Collecting gifts".
Also a question.
Do you have plans for the possible reality rift? Yes or no? (Don't Wana get spoiled too mutch)
>>
>>3302094
Hasn't been brought up yet iirc
>>
>>3302122
Yeah.
Just felt like the whole transported part and the warp existing in another universe needed some explanation like it seeping in slowly trough a rift in reality.
I've read some fan made stories of 40k breaching into some games/settings/animes universe and the warp suddenly breaching into that reality with full power.
In all of them the warp didn't slowly seep in, it just appeared in the universe and chaos happened.
It's just people tend to think of the warp is unstoppable and can easily breach into the other universes equivalent to a realm of souls/magic.
>>
>>3302186
Well that's a writing troupe. Its that they need the event to happen fast because what else would the character do? Generally they have Chaos as a final boss too, but I've seen it where Chaos was used as a catalyst for future events (Adventures of a Tech-Priest).

If I'm going to be honest you all, what ya want to do? Right now you guys are safe as can be, making your enemies fear you. So you could either...

>Explore the world for Chaos, Artifacts, and other Evils.

>Take up and assist another faction in their fights, making allies.

>Other

I'll tell you know, you guys need to take initiative on stuff to have something occur. No one has a reason to pick a fight with you nor do they want to ever since your assassinations. If you're not going to join or ally with a faction, then you need to start picking fights instead of staying in your turtle shell of a Monastery.
>>

Damn it, the meta has changed.
All seriously however, we shall set one all presiding goal. With our defenses up, we have our little bunker that will fuck up anyone who tries to enter so now that we have a paunch platform, we should start trying to expand our reach through the country. And by that, i mean dispatching the surfs on long term scouting runs to gather info on possibilities of the emperor or chaotic activities.

While our scouts move around like inquisitors, we can thread our way through the city, get a feel for the gangs here and find the "no mans land" before starting to cut and hack away at either side. Force an angelic beings to give ground and hem in the demons to make the no-mans land larger and safer.

As the Serfs take drinks of water you think to yourself. It has been about two weeks since your slaying of the Daemon and a week since your retribution against the Gremory. You seemed to have instilled fear into those Devils, so they have only sent a straggler against you what was easily disposed of.

While you are open to the idea of working with the Church, that place is likely just a scheme of the Emperor to progress Earth’s people to non-belief. If Asia’s story is true, many not be under his influence fully and are corrupted by their own desires.

You watched as Issei made a joke, Asia responding with a laughter while the two fallen simply smiled. At this point, you need to bolster your ranks with true believers or gifts. Your Serfs are few in number while Issei is your only other brother who still requires his electronics and power armor.

Though there is the fact that the Devils have left large amounts of territory free. Maybe you could become the Inquisition of this land, taking out threats from the shadows while ‘gifting’ yourself exceptional individuals. It does mean that you will be facing whatever other Daemons Terra has to offer.

The other is to maybe influenced the leaders of this world. Though that is something long term, you could slowly introduce them to the Imperial Truth by way of subtlety. Of course you could do it later too when you own a majority stake in the Supernatural Territory.

Of course you look towards to the people of Kouh. Already you noticed a decrease in hedonism since the Devils left. Even Issei has stopped stealing panties, though you have also been indoctrinating him over the nights. Either way, people seem to have become more ‘normal’ to you.

>Start expanding your territory. Doing so you can both bolster your ranks and rid Terra of these beings.

You have decided that expansion is your best course of action. For the most part this territory is yours, though you have not really made your presence known to anyone other than the Devils. You’ve been reading the internet and you’ve realized there are a tone of myths that Terran humans use to follow, not the cohesive state that the Imperial Cult is or the Imperial Truth preached.

You can guess that maybe these creatures will stand in your way, but for now it’s uncertain. What you do know is there is territory to take and Daemons to slay.

So, what do you think you should do?

>Reinforce our stake in the local territory.

You've decided that going towards the west might be the best choice. The best defense is a good offense after all, unless you are an Imperial Fist.

Since this is the first exploration, you will be going along to explore Terra. You do need a retinue of Serfs to accompany you though, so who will you be taking?

You can take any number of Serfs

>Katatea (Koneko)

>Kalawarner

You made your way down the highways of Japan in a box truck. Said truck was gifted to you by the town of Kouh and was currently being driven by Raynare. You hanged out in the back of the truck while Issei was upfront with Raynare, the boy quite. Of course riding with the one who killed you does that.

As you brought up a cogitator to research the western land you could hear them up front. The first one was Raynare, “So… I’m sorry about killing you.”

The boy just huffed, “Sorry about killing me? Why would you bother now?”

“It’s not like I wanted to!” She snapped at him, “I didn’t want to kill one of God’s children, but my higher ups told me to.”

The boy was getting more seething, “And you could have told them to go fuck themselves!”

You considered butting in at this point, such conflict between a Serf and Neophyte was unproductive. Though you heard the girl sigh, “Did you at least enjoy our date.”

You could hear Issei’s voice clammer up, “Y-yeah… It was the first time I was on one, I wouldn’t forget it even if I wanted to.”

By now you had a small sensor snaking into the cab so you could watch. Raynare was tensing her hands on the steering wheel while Issei was blushing.

Raynare grew a smile and blushed a little, “I was going to kill you, so I decided that a virgin like you would enjoy a date with a pretty girl like me. I could only damn myself for being sloppy on the kill and letting the Devils get to you.”

“Yeah, you could have been better at... that.” The boy was now examining the Bolter you gave him, “But I guess your mess up lead me to Chapter Master Dante. It’s been grueling, but if we keep at it Humanity will have a chance against Chaos.”

Raynare laughed a little, “Yeah, I guess you’re right. I just wished Kalawarner could get a few kills soon, girls been locked up in the Monastery too long.”

Issei could only respond happily, “Yeah, same with Asia. I want to take her to eat some hamburgers soon.”

The two laughed as you retracted your sensor and reviewed the results on your cogitator. The only thing of note on the Internet was a moderate sized temple, but there was also a mountain nearby that was rumored to hold Youki, a local type of Daemon. Besides that you could investigate the local forests.

You and the crew make their way around the forest with Raynare on point. You and Issei hanged back as she peaked her head out of the forest. She gave a single and the two of you moved up to peak at the place.

There was about 3 men working about, sweeping the pathways and checking the facets for impurities. You couldn’t see much in your witch sense of them meaning they were just normal humans.

Raynare placed her hand on your arm and pointed over to Myoo Temple. You thought it was supposed to be larger than it was, but you were quite sure a single attack from her Bolter would wreck the thing. As you looked at it though, you could see the existence of a Daemon within it.

It was not malevolent, if anything it was sad. For such a Daemon to exist was stupid to you, but the warp has produced far weirder horrors.

Besides that, you can’t feel anything in the way of technology. You could detect a few other Psykers in the area but the Daemon’s influence is acting as a jammer.

You look down to see Raynare and Issei readying their weapons. Issei was reciting a prayer to Raynare who was bitting her lip.

“Stay here and initiate Overwatch. I will be clearing out the Psykers and Daemon, but this one is stronger than a Devil.”

Raynare could only smirk, “Coming from the guy that slayed Satan with only a dented chestplate. I understand.” Issei nodded in affirmation too.

With that you snuck your way over to the the really skinny building while dodging the workers. They didn’t notice as you made your way to the door and scrunched your way into it.

The interior was in the local custom, hard wood floors followed by simple architecture. You could hear mumbling as you snaked your way up stairs, making sure to receive a number of potentially heretical/priceless artifacts.

As you approached the mumbling became coherent, the voice of a crowd of women speaking at once, ”I can feel him. He hurts so much and has experienced so much pain.”

The next one was a young male's voice, “Are you sure Guanyin? There should only be us monks within the area.”

The voices continue, too in sync to be anything other than a Daemon’s trick, “I do not know, Monoshi. I felt him ever since he entered the prefecture, but now he feels so distant. My, how can such a being live with so much pain.”

There was now a third voice, this one an old man with the years taking their toll, “What do you feel my Goddess? What has such a being experienced?”

The thousand voices screamed out in pain as you could feel a slight tinge on your psychic barriers, ”He has seen so many die and lives in eternal pain! Planets, Minato, planets the size of Terra wiped of life! H-his enemy is far worse, AAAAAHHHHHH!”

You could feel the psychic pressure building within the tower. For a creature called a Goddess, she could not handle the horrors of the 41st Millenium. The tower started to shake as you can hear the men working to restrain the Goddess, though this pressure is nothing in comparison to a Daemon Host.

You lessen your psychic barriers in hope of driving this Daemon to the brink. Maybe if you torture the being long enough and showed her the horrors of the future, you could easily convince her to join you.

Her voice started to shrill, ”Hes close! He is here! These horrors he brings!”

The young man was now yelling, “Where my Goddess, where is he!”

“Necrons, Eldar, Orks, Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle, Sla-AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH”

You confidently make your way up the staircase, watching as a multi headed god’s heads started to shatter into pieces. It was quite surprising really, to watch a Daemon suffer from the horrors of the warp. You pay it no heed though as the boy and the old man bared their fist.

The old man was the first to speak with a angered but sober tone, “So you are the one who is making our Goddess suffer. Stop it now!”

“It is her fault for probing my mind. For a Daemon she has extremely low willpower, a weakling among her kind.”

“A weakling!” The boy shouted, “She is as powerful as any of the Buddhist or Hindu Gods, you are simply a foul sorcerer from the Church!”

You were about to talk to the supposive goddess, but you noticed her body was literally falling apart at the seams. How can a Warp God with such little will exist! The men have already bared their fist at you, warp sorcerer building up in the flesh.

You quickly raise your arm and release a torrent of Bolter rounds across the very small room. Somehow, the men were able to avoid the shots and came within melee range of you. The young man’s attack missed by a long shot as you parried it with your Twin-Linked Bolters. Using the boy as a rag doll, you slammed him into the old man.

You could feel a massive shaking going through the temple the men slammed into the wall. The two mens eyes widened as they quickly got up and tried to attack you once more.

Your attack one again missed with the Monk’s sheer agility. As they came within melee of you, the two once again faced your barrel for a flinging. You were only angered that you could not come close to hitting the men with your lethal Bolter.

So as they were in mid air you released another barrage, this time the men having no time as the Bolter tore the young man into pieces. The old man quickly recovered, landing on his feet as he stared at you with animosity.

“You have done well old man. You will make an excellent gift to the Chapter.”

The man looked at you with a confused eye, ”Chapter? You… expect me to join you?”

You brought the Dreadspear to bear, the massive weapon just barely maneuverable within the extremely small temple.

“It shall include the Daemon you are guarding. It is for the future of mankind.”

The man reinforced his stance, “If you are the future of mankind, I shall destroy it to make a new one.” He sprang forward as if he was in his youth.

“For the Emperor, Psyker!”

He charged forward with the speed of a bullet, but he was unable to dodge the Dreadspear’s butt and was flung into a support. It was honestly the first clean hit on the man, blood running from his mouth as he barely stood back up.

You did not give him a moment to recover though as you slammed the butt into his head. Even as a Psyker, he didn’t stay in reality when he slumped on the floor of the temple.

You turn to look at the Daemon, only to find a pile of meaty bits where her head was. You remember in your quick research this very Daemon lost her head when she tried to save humanity from suffering and her head blew into pieces. She was given more heads as a way to help her cope, but it seems the future was too dark for a thirteen headed Daemon.

“Enter the complex, I have finished clearing it out.”

After you Voxed your Serf and Battle Brother you turned your attention to the Daemon. Examining the Daemon, you tried to probe the remains with your Psychic might. You were truly trying to put the creature together but instead you ended up scanning what little mind it had left.

The information about the local customs, Buddhist and the Shinto Pantheons came through your mind. It seems that while the main land Japan is held by the Shinto, Buddhist have a moderate hold on the fringes of the country.

You also learned about some Devil strongholds, ones similar to Kuoh. They were mainly there because of the Shinto’s alliance with them and occupied old Buddhist territory.

Besides that you got a healthy dose of Buddhist lore, but that paled in your knowledge of the Emperor. Most of it only made you chuckle a little.

Sadly though, it seemed you couldn’t resurrect the Daemon without bringing harm to yourself. Her life consisted of trying to help humanity at first before her head blew up and was given thirteen. She became docile in recent years thinking humans were pretty well off, but it seems she suffered this fate when she probed your mind for intent.

To put her back together would require a host body similar to a Daemonhost, and unless you wanted to sacrifice the old man that was not happening. So do you?

You decided against it, doing such a thing would be a fool’s errand. It seemed the old man still has promise in him, so you pick his body up. Raynare and Issei entered the room without much of a scratch.

Raynare was the first to speak, “I’ve disabled the patrols when the fighting started. They will not know this event took place.” Issei just nodded to the girl.

“Very well, we should return to our truck and fix this place up. This will become our new base within the local area.”

Issei was the one to speak, “Understood Chapter Master.”

After some basic reinforcement, what do you wanna do?

Okay everyone, I'm going to admit that I have no idea about the Buddhist and Shinto Pantheon nor any idea about the monsters within. I honestly was hoping to ride of the Wiki but there does not seem to be much info about the Pantheon's influence there either. So if any of you got some get info quick scheme I'd be up for it, besides that I feel I don't know what I'm doing and might end it here.

I just don't have the knowledge to do this Quest. If I knew more I would be happy to follow through but I can't make complete sense of the Lore for the two pantheon nor have any insider ideas.

I'm happy to complete this little bit tonight but after that I might need to retire this. If someone knows more than me take this over and run it, I'd be happy to see this continue.

As you return to the truck you place the old man in the back with yourself. Placing your metallic hand over his head, you start to generate the ideas of the Imperial Truth into his mind. The simple facts were that the Emperor would bring mankind into enlightenment, he has the power to vanquish Daemons, and that Humanity must band together to face the hordes of Chaos.

He’s not going to wake up soon after your little job, the massive amount of information without proper channels will tend to yield some negative results. You feel however that this man’s loyalty to you is more secure after the work is done.

As for reinforcements, you managed to set up a small Vox Caster in the top of the Temple. You cleared out the remains of the Daemon and sealed them in some containers for later examination.

Raynare was going around making sure the Monk’s memories were still scrambled. While she is not able to implant new info or place people under her control, her abilities made it easy to make people forget.

Issei was standing guard watching for any reinforcements to come, but none did as it neared midnight. It seems your quick take out of the enemy has made them unaware of your entrance. Now, what will you do?

Seeing as the defeat of the local deity was done, you decide to examine the local forest. The night fell as you did so, your senses searching for any signs of Daemon activity. You could only smile as you detected a slight bit of activity.

The stars were high in the night, clear clouds but no moon to light the world. Only with your technology was the world visible.

So you stalked the forest, tracking the source to a small opening in the Forest. Your Machine Spirits show you a young man walking and a small red light at the other edge of the trees. You could feel the man’s psychic ability, but it’s obvious he’s yet to come close to activating it.

As for the red light, you can see a girl with a large bosom and fair skin flaying the lantern back and forth like an hypnotist. You are unaffected thanks to both your training and gear.

You prepared a surge of lightning within your hands, releasing it at the Daemon in hopes she would be blindsided. You only clicked your tongue as the Daemon quickly dodged the attack and dived into the woods.

You beared your Dreadspear with lightning still bouncing off of your hands. The sounds of cackling came from the woods surrounding you as a Psychic trick from the Daemon, “You are not like my usual prey, human. With such armor and weapons, your sheer lifeforce worthy of more than ten others. Maybe even a hundred”

You beared your Mind and Spear for the Daemon. Thats when you noticed the same red light that she used to attract the boy, “Now come to me, I can use an older man in my life.”

“For the Emperor!”

You resisted the attack, releasing a massive stream of Psychic energies at the Daemon. You struck true as the Daemon was sent reeling backwards into a tree. As you looked upon her, the once beautiful woman was now replaced by a shriveled corpse of a body.

It was to your surprise she stood up, “Your a magician from the West, you lovely hunk of a man. They have a thing for firing off their loads early.”

+++[Dreadspear: Primed]+++

You prepared your Dreadspear towards the Daemon, the inhuman glow in her mummified eyes intensifying as she eyed you up. You begun to grow tired of the wait, so you initiated the attack.

”Knowledge is Power!”

She tried to dodge your attack, but her attempt was short lived as you bisected a part of her arm with a quick swing. She did her best making ground after the injury, “Ugh, your no magician Metal Man. Your one of those damn Exorcist.”

“I am an Angel of Death that Serves the Emperor, Daemon.”

You quickly made ground, the Daemon once again losing a limb in your attack. You cleaved off her left leg in an attempt to keep from running. Her features turned to horror as she could no longer run away from you, the mummified face turning in a disgusting way.

Her voice was cracking with panic, “What do you want! I’ve only hunted in Buddhist territory, never once have I even touched Christian or Devil lands! You must want something then! What!?”

“Issei, I have arrived at a location to examine a certain Daemon. Be sure to reinforce the temple.”

“Understood Chapter Master.” The boy said, “Mr. Minato has awoken and has become keen in helping us. He has seen the light of the Emperor from the looks of it.”

“Understood. Do keep an eye on him, he might break his enlightenment if Daemons start traveling about.”

“Understood.”

With that you dropped the Vox cast with your battle brother. It was about mid morning now, the light shining over the small mountain that you were pointed to by the Daemon. After some research, you found that this Ibaraki was a Daemon that once terrorized the Gods of this land. Though you might worry about her opinion of humans, for now you shall examine her.

Looking up there didn’t seem to be much to the mountain, but you could feel a slight psychic presence within it. There's an obvious trail, but you can probably hike your way up in a stealth.

You scanned the area with your mind, trying your best to find a form of Daemon. You found only one signature near the top of the mountain. It felt beastial, but the creature was also tired. That didn’t stop it from suddenly moving from your little psychic radar.

So you hid, moving behind a tree that was comically too small to hide you. You know however that such a tree was perfect for a Blood Raven, as the Emperor’s blessing would keep you hidden.

What came down was a small girl, horn protruding from her head that easily gave away her Daemonsy. She was without her right arm and her skin was more bone than muscle. More than anything else she looked tired.

“The great Ibaraki has come to consume you…” She said without much luster, “If you leave now and tribute your rations, I will not pillage you.” She looked from side to side in a depression, “Damn, those fucking Yokai! Damn fuckers made me think there was a human!”

You watched she the one armed Daemon kicked at the ground with impunity. Craters caved in as she struck it. She was strong for a Daemon, but whatever luster she had was long gone from those thousands of years.

“You were not played on by Yokai, Ibaraki-Doji. It was I, Dante of the Blood Ravens that brought you here.”

You stepped out from your cover and allowed the Daemon to get a full look of you. You have already brandished your Dreadspear and started to release Psychic Energy. You were ready for battle.

The Daemon just looked at you with a mild confusion, “What in the Oni are you?”

“I am a Dreadnought of the Blood Ravens Space Marine Chapter. I have come here to challenge you to a fight.”

She tilted her head, “A fight? You don’t even have any flesh or blood, just metal. Are you just some new Yokai the humans thought up? I killed that weird zombie girl last week.”

“I am not a Daemon, Daemon. I am in fact human, I serve the Emperor of Mankind after death within this tomb.”

The Daemon laughed a little, “Emperor of Mankind, not the Jade Emperor? Did he change his name since humans have risen to the top?”

“Daemon, I do not care for this Jade Emperor or other Daemons like him. I am here to fight you, and if I win you shall join my Chapter.”

You noticed the creature grew irritated, “I’m the last Oni on this damn planet! I have-” Her stomach started to growl with a thunderous roar, “... How about this. If you win, I join your ‘Chapter’ for 5 years of service. If I win though, you will give me tribute for the next 10 years!”

Her eyes narrowed in on you, and so you decided to end on a kicker.

“We at the Chapter are fed well. Once the Emperor reforges the Imperium, you can expect to never go hungry under my service.”

We could follow that with simply stating in a matter-of-fact tone something like:

Her lunge at you was fast, fast enough to force you into a dodge instead of a counter attack. As she slammed into the ground however, you opened fire with your Bolter in an attempt to get her airborne.

She once again launched at you with her left claw engaged towards you. She was much slower than before, her face in pain as you drove her to hunger driven pains.

This worker in your favor for sure as you connected your fist into her small body. You attempted to slam her down, but you did not hit her hard enough as she rolled out of your fist into a tree.

She was getting up with a stream of blood coming from her mouth, “You’ve given this Oni a good thrashing, Metal Human. Though it seems I can’t face you very well in this form!”

You watch as the Daemon’s form starts to enlarge as flames start to pour from her body, scaling up and into the size of your Dreadnought. Her bones are still visible, but now she has even the battlefield if a little.

“Face me human! Show me what the Warriors of the Jade Emperor could not! Come so that I can pillage your food after!” There was a gleam in her eyes now, reignited from the simple skirmish the two of you shared. Though its obvious shes received a bit of damage as blood trickles from her mouth.

+++[Hull Integrity @ 95%]+++

The flames crossed over your armor, not dealing as much damage to you as the Daemon Prince. Though it was still surprising that simple fire could harm a Dreadnought and forced you to disengage.

“Fucking hell!” The Daemon cried out as she was struck by a torrent of lighting. Her fire attack cleared up on the disengage, revealing her left arm and side charred from the electrical attack. Her breathing was heavy and it was obvious you were dealing more damage to her.

You move into a sumo stance, bringing up your fingers in a taunts. The Daemon Ibaraki didn’t even wait as she charged at your form.

You brought up your Bolter, firing a barrage of rounds at the Daemon. Only a couple hit her, but they did not implode to cause the gore effect of explosions. By then she was right on top of you, swinging her single fist at you.

+++[Hull Integrity @ 84%]+++

The attack hit hard, bearing a dent in your tomb as you recovered. Quickly you brought up your fist in an attempt to punch her, the attack missing as she ducked out of the way. This time she went for an uppercut, the attack swinging too wide to actually hit your face.

Taking the opportunity, you slammed your fist into her exposed stomach. She had no way of dodging the attack and cough a spurt of blood that splattered over your visor. It was not strong enough to finish her off though as her fist came in contact with you, engulfed in her flames.

+++[Hull integrity @ 74%]+++

The attack didn’t hurt as much as the earlier punch, but the flames wreaked havoc on your armor. The two of you backed away with Ibaraki placing a hand on her stomach, “Damn you hit hard. With a flash of Psychic might a trail of electricity leads you above Ibaraki. Now armed with your Dreadspear, you come down at frightening speeds in order to pierce her. The Daemon was wary though, narrowly dodging out of the way as the attack pierced where she was. Flames ignited, she went for a kick against your armor.

+++[Hull Integrity @ 59%]+++

The attack was the most solid hit you experienced from her yet. Paired with the flames your armor now sorted a gruesome wound on the left side of your Chassis. Seeing you stunned for a moment, she repeated the same attack only to narrowly miss you as you abandoned the Dreadspear lodged in the ground.

Now forced into a fist fight, you opened with another attack on her stomach. It connected, the Daemon was forced to back away in a disengage as she coughed up a dreadful amount of blood.

Taking the initiative, you went in for another. You went for the upper cut, the Daemon narrowly missing it as she attempted to punch into your Chassis. Her strength was losing though as her fist bounced off without any damage.

“If I can’t break your metal, I’ll melt it!” She roared in a rage. She grappled you, igniting her flames that battered your armor.

Okay guys, New plan. our biggest modifier is a +55 to stealth when stealing, +10 to melee and +25 to psyker powers.

With this in mind, I say we use electroshield and/or warpmetal armour to give us some protection from her, break the grip, and then vanish into the woods. she may set them on fire, but that will also send animals scurrying to fuck with her head. Once we are in position, move ahead and steal her armour/clothing to prompt an instinctive desire to cover herself, and then strike in that moment of weakness.

You opened your arms towards Ibaraki as she released another wave of destructive flame through your armor. She saw this coming however, quickly disengaging from her grapple.

You grabbed at nothing, allowing the Daemon to finish an uppercut to your head. The buzzing quaked through your skull as the Machine Spirits started to quake in pain.

+++[Hull Integrity @ 40%]+++

Of course you were not done yet, releasing a torrent of lightning at the Daemon. To your surprise she dodged the attack, coming up on you with a kick in the Chassis.

+++[Octo Arms: Disabled]+++

The machine spirits have started to enter safety mode as you did a sweeping strike at Ibarak. The Daemon safely dodged the attack and followed with a shallow jab at your Chassis.

+++[Hull Integrity @ 29%]+++

The two of you disengaged, your armor now leaking Holy Promethium as the Daemon struggled to stand up. The two of you looked at eachother in a battered state as Ibaraki-Doji spoke, “Well, that was fun. Your not too bad yourself for a tin man.” She laughed a little until her mouth erupted in blood. She rubbed it on her sleeve as she stared at you with determination, “You have gained the respect of Ibaraki-Doji! As such, I’m willing to make a comprise.”

The Daemon had a vicious spark in her eyes as she spoke, “I have been forced to hide because of the Jade Emperor for too long. The Bastard had Shuten killed, had my arm stolen, and now I am the last Oni on Terra. If you help me kill him, I will serve the Emperor you admire so much.”

>Agreed Daemon. A death of another Daemon is no problem.

Do we compromise in the face of Armageddon? or do we put this duel on hold to take up at a later date?

"This duel is on hold, the death of the false emperor will allow it to restart"

There can not be two with the title of Emperor other then the Emperor of Mankind

All I heard was "We're going to do the thing we were going to do anyway and then she'll join us."

“The Jade Emperor, a Daemon that called himself above Humanity so much to be called Emperor.”

Your psychic might was released through the area, the smile of Ibaraki’s face growing feral as she watched and felt your anger.

“Daemon, no, Ibaraki-Doji. I aim to claim Japan in the name of the Emperor, and then all of Terra. I however, cannot look over a being who thinks himself above the Emperor, though we have also agreed to a Dual for our fates. We will put our fight on hold, you will help me take over Japan and slay the false Emperor. Once we finish, we will face each other once again on this spot. Do you agree, Ibaraki-Doji?”

She could only smile, “You mortals have a strange sense of morality, you know. I agree to those terms. I will be by your side until you slay the Emperor and then we will fight once more. I will not let you slack or leave me on the sidelines as you destroy his armies however, this is a partnership forged from battle.”

“Your terms are understood, Daemon. I agree.”

Ibaraki broke out in a laughter from the bottom of her heart. It was a roar that seemed to spur you, but only until she coughed up a lot bit of blood. It was then she collapsed into the realm of the unconscious with her form shrinking back to normal.

You picked her up and held her like you have Katatea. You could still hear her giggling as you walked away towards the setting sun.

>Return to Myoo Temple

>Return to Myoo Temple
>>
The two of you travel back to Myoo temple hour much issue. It seemed the amount of fighting the two of you did scared off any potential ambushers that valued their life. With that, the two of you approached the Temple in the cover of night.

Ibaraki was still in your arms as the two of you entered the area, though she had her mind back, “So, you were able to take over Myoo Temple? What happened to Gyu?”

“She was of weak will. She could not withstand the anguish that is the 41st Melania.”

The girl looked confused, “Hmm, so you from the future?”

“Yes, I am here to prevent the Horus Heresy and the rise of Chaos. I was brought here by the Emperor’s will, and so I seek out his younger self to see these never come to pass.”

“Oh, sounds confusing.” She just lounged back as the two of you snuck into the Temple.

You went up a few levels, finding the pillars reinforced with pieces of wood on them. The main bit of architecture was still there though. As you approached the fifth and final floor you came upon Issei, Raynare, and the Old Man.

Issei was the first to respond, “Oh, Chapter Master you’ve- WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU!”

THe boy basically ran to you and looked you up and down. Raynare stepped forward out of curiosity and looked upon a smug Ibaraki, “Who’s the brat you found?”

“Fufufu,” The Yokai laughed a little, “I am Ibaraki-Doji, the Oni that terrorized the Jade Palace with bands of Oni under her!”

The Serf and Issei looked at each other in confusion. Raynare sounded confuse, “Never heard of you.”

Ibaraki looked like she was about to clobber the Fallen with her fist before becoming smug, “Even if you don’t know me, I still gave your Boss a thrashing.” She started to giggle a little before she once again coughed up blood.

Raynare just looked up at you with a distinct look of horror. You had no response, Ibaraki was able to harm you further than even a Daemon Prince could.

“We will be resting here tonight, then leaving for the Monastery tomorrow morning. Until then, be wary of any attack.”

The two of them nodded to each other. You looked over to see the old man nodding his head at your orders, though you noticed there was a hint of fear as he looked upon Ibaraki.

You walked over to the old man with a confident stride. Said man looked up at you with some confidence, but didn’t say anything.

“You have fought me well, old man. Though now you realize what my aims on Terra are.”

The man nodded, “Yes, to think of those horrors would confront humanity…” He was silent for a moment, “That realm, the Warp, what is it?”

“It is a realm where all the emotions of all beings come together. It contains both the wonders and horrors of life. Thanks to the Eldar, only horrors travel the realm unimpeded.”

He exhaled, “To think the Buddha wanted us to join with that realm. It should have been paradise, a place where all beings are together in harmony…”

“Peace can only be achieved with the Emperor. The Warp is and will be hostile to humanity.”

He looked up to you with confidence, “I understand. I… don’t know how to ward my people away from such a fate though.”

“You will figure it out. Entire country will know of the Emperor in time, I just ask you to stay your ground till then.”

The Old Man gave you a nod as you left to repair your armor.

With that you try and think of the future. When will you meet the Emperor. Are there any others like Ibaraki that will prove a challenge to you. Now though you have a nice objective, kill the Jade Emperor. The Daemon who stained the mantel of Emperor

That's it for this one guys. Sorry for the little problem in the middle but I truly didn’t know what to do. Now we have a clear path. I’m going to run my Fate Quest for a thread or two, but I hope to come back with new ideas and a clear path.

I will publish a Japan Territory map later tonight for you all.
