Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After discovering four Covenant warships approaching New Salda, you and King Vegeta IV flew into space and boarded their ship to meet with their leader, who you discovered was the son of the Jiralhanae chieftan you’d fought during the siege. After he told you both of the civil war raging amongst the Covenant, and of the new Arbiter, he swore his allegiance to Vegeta in exchange for protecting his people. After that was settled you spent some time with Tatsu and Tomi, the three of you going Oozaru for awhile before you and Meloka went to the doctor and got examined. After leaving, and you soundly defeating Tiveus lin the arena, you took your kids and laid them to bed at Tatsu’s, the two of you spending the night together outdoors under the stars. As we rejoin Karn a new day has dawned, the first morning rays rousing you from your slumber.

“Mrrhmmm.” you mumble as the dawn’s first rays hit your eyes, lifting your free arm to block out the light. Your stirring wakes Meloka, who’d been sleeping in your arms. “Mrrrnin.”
“Mrrmmm.” she mumbles sleepily, rolling over and pressing her face to your chest, hiding her eyes from the sun. After a few moments your eyes finally begin to adjust, opening them to the sight of your wife cuddled up to your chest. You can’t help but smile, pulling your golden-haired woman closer to you. You enjoy the view you have of the sunrise over the ocean, having flown last night to one of the dozen or so smaller islands littering the southern coast for a night all to yourselves. And as you lay there, simply being, you find it’s rather nice to slow down and enjoy the view once in awhile.

“Ahhh I can’t take it anymore!” Meloka says with a frustrated sigh, squirming out of your grip. “I’ve got sand everywhere!”

With that she rises up to her full height and stretches, then leaps into the water. You get up a bit more slowly than she does, stretching the stiffness from your body. For a brief moment you wish you’d slept in your bed back on your ship, then laugh that thought off. If you’d ever said that out loud, everyone would claim you’d gone soft. You leap into the water as well, washing all the sand off. The cool water helps you wake up, getting out after a few minutes and dressing for the day ahead.

You focus your ki sense, feeling out what everyone’s up to this early morning. You feel most of the populace is still asleep, yet you sense the Guardian and surprisingly Raven both on his island. You pull your armor on over your head, finishing getting dressed.

“I’m gonna see what Raven and the Guardian are up to.” you say, pulling your gloves on as Meloka pulls her boots on. “You coming with?”
“I’ll meet you there.” she says as you embrace your wife. “I’ve got something else to go take care of real quick first.”
“Alright, I’ll see you there.” you say, giving Meloka a quick kiss then both of you taking off. She flies back towards the mainland as you fly towards the Guardian’s island. It takes you only a few moments, you landing on the beach beside the two of them. The Guardian is in his usual place sitting on his rock as Raven sits across from him. What surprises you is that they’re both glowing with golden energy, yet you don’t sense any power greater than their usual within either of them. “Hey, you two are up early.”
“Good morning.” the Guardian says, opening his eyes and turning his head to you. “Well, you slept?”
“Well enough.” you reply, looking back and forth between them. “What’s going on here?”

“Morning.” Raven says, turning to you. The glow surrounding her body disappears, unlike the Guardians as she talks. “He’s showing me how to use Hamon.”
“Hamon?” you ask. “What’s that?”
“The energy of the star, it is.” the Guardian says. “With proper breathing, radiate like a life-giving star, you can. The bane, it is, of the creatures of the dark.”
“Huh, okay.” you say, confused. “So what else can it do?”
“Repair one’s body, and repel poisons, as well, Hamon can.” the Guardian says, rising up slowly to his feet. He hobbles down to the water’s edge, then walks out into it. “Even one’s life, Hamon can extend.”
“Woah.” you say, seeing ripples radiating out over the water’s surface from him. Then for a brief moment the water dozens of feet around him glows with the same golden hue that surrounds him, the light nearly blinding you. When you open your eyes the Guardian is gone.

“Huh?” you say, confused, when suddenly a powerful force slams into your gut, all the air in your lungs wheezing out.

You react on instinct, leaping back and clutching at your gut as you force yourself to keep breathing, the Guardian’s sudden attack sending you into a coughing fit.

“What. The hell. Was that for?” you manage to get out, dropping to a knee as the Guardian sighs out in disappointment.
“Worked, it did not.” he says, hobbling back to his rock and sitting down, the glow fading from his body. You notice for just a second golden sparks dancing along the fist he’d striked you with before vanishing. “Awakened Hamon, within you, I attempted to do. Failed, I did.”
“Failed?” you ask, rising back unsteadily to your feet with a final wheeze. “What are you talking about?”
“A shock to the body, required it is, for Hamon to awaken.” the Guardian says with a sigh. “By surprise, awaken Hamon within you, I attempted to. Yet failed, it did.”
“So a shock to the lungs is needed?” you ask, Raven nodding and answering for him, the Guardian closing his eyes and refocusing his breathing.
“Yes. A hit to the chest, forcing all the air from your lungs is needed.” she says. “Then when you’d have breathed in, his Hamon would have infused your lungs and awakened your own Hamon.”

“Huh, interesting.” you say, looking harder at Raven. She looks far happier than you can remember her being before Trigon’s death, yet something’s off. Her energy feels different somehow, as if it’s been changed. “You okay?”
“Huh?” she asks, blinking in confusion. “What do you mean?”
“Something’s different about you today, but I can’t figure out what.” you say, hand to your chin. At this the Guardian speaks up, a note of pride in his voice.
“My disciple, she has become.” he says, you turning to him. “My place, she will take.”
“Wait, what?” you ask confused. “Your place? Do you mean Raven will be the next Guardian?”
“Indeed.” he says with a sigh. “Far too old, I am, and very many years left, I have not. An heir, I need; one to protect this world, once gone I am.”

“Well, you certainly picked a great disciple.” you say, putting a hand on Raven’s shoulder. She looks up to you with surprise, you smiling to her then to the Guardian. “She’ll certainly do a great job.”
“I... Thank you.” Raven says to you with a smile. “I will do my best.”
“Your best, I know you will do. Doubt your potential, I do not.” the Guardian says to her, then turns to you. “Hamon, you wish to learn? Or perhaps, to learn, another technique?”

“This Hamon’s interesting, I’d like to try and learn that.” you say, the Guardian sighing out and rising to his feet. “I won’t move back this time.”
“More difficult, it will be, if ready for it, you are.” he says, hobbling over to you. “Yet work with this, I believe we can.”
“What do you need me to do?” you ask him.
“Your strength, lend me.” he says, you complying instantly. You place your hand on his, sending plenty of your golden ki into him. He begins radiating with Super Saiyan power, you then returning to base at his direction. “Now relax, you must. Tense up, you must not. To five, I will count, then swing.”
“Alright.” you say, nodding. You take a deep breath, slowly sighing out as you try and relax.
“One, two, three!” he shouts, punching you again two-count early. His fist slams into you, winding you and dropping to your knees. You struggle to keep from hurling, feeling like you’re gonna puke for several seconds before fighting the sensation down.

“Di-Did it work?” you ask, rising back up to your feet as your golden glow disappears from the Guardian. Raven shakes her head as the Guardian sighs out, his own strength noticably dropping as well.
“Unfortunate, this is.” the Guardian says, hobbling back to his rock and sitting down. “But today, learn this, you will not. Rest awhile, I need to.”
“Damn, oh well. Take it easy you two.” you say, sighing out. You’re disappointed, but there’s nothing you can do about it now. You’ll just have to try again another day. Leaving Raven and the Guardian to their work you take to the air, thinking of what to do next when you suddenly sense a group of familiar presences flying towards you.

“DADDY!” Chaya shouts, your daughter leading Broly and Chilli both towards you.
“Mornin’!” you shout, waving as they fly towards you. Chaya flies into you like a wrecking ball, you catching your daughter as she crashes into you. “Ooof, you guys sleep good?”
“Yeah!” Chaya says excitedly. “An’ now it’s time to start trainin’!”
“Yea!” Chilli echoes his sister, yet you notice Broly isn’t as excited as the others. You wonder why for a moment, realizing he’s probably still upset about what happened. You’ll have to address that sometime.

“Training, huh?” you say, thinking it over a moment then smiling. ”Alright, we can get started right away.”
“Yay!” Chaya says, her and Chilli excited. Even Broly smiles, seeing his siblings’ joy.
“Follow me.” you say, flying off. Your three oldest follow you, and after a few moments the four of you touch down on the southern end of the Glass Plain. From there you can see the four distant Jiralhanae warships, you sensing them as well as a dozen or so of the Royal Guard. Seems Vegeta’s taken precautions to prevent another situation from occurring.

“What kinda trainin’ we doin’ today?” Chaya asks you curiously, seeming pumped up.
“Are we doing transfomashion trainin’?” Chilli asks hopefully, you feeling his desire to finally go fully Super Saiyan. But today, you having something else in mind.
“Not quite.” you say, popping your knuckles and neck. “Today’s training will be special.”
“Special?” Broly asks curiously. “Special how?”
“Today I’ll train you three as Tatsu trained me years ago.” you say, all three of their eyes going wide.
“How YOUR Daddy trained you?” Chaya asks, getting more and more excited. “Wooooow! Let’s do it!”
“Yeaaah!!” Chilli says, even Broly getting visibly excited. “Yeah yeah!”

“Alright, here’s what we’re gonna do.” you say, stretching a bit. “You three have to defend yourselves, as best as you can while I attack you. And no transforming, either. Got it?”
“Got it!” they shout as one, dropping into their stances. You take your stance as well, staring them down. You wait a moment, then when they seem ready you shout a single word:

“Go!”

“HAAAA!!” Chaya shouts, actually rushing towards you. Broly holds his ground as Chilli takes to the air, clearly intent on keeping his distance. That won’t do, not at all. You burst up into the air, blitzing behind Chilli before he can see you.
“Behind you.” you say, striking him in the back and sending him crashing down into the ground. Chaya follows and rushes up at you as you hit Chilli, you easily dodging her ki-clad punch. You catch her follow-up left, raising her arm up and thumping her solidly in the gut. Chaya wheezes as your hit winds her, following up with a dozen quick hits before sending her crashing to the ground as well. You drift down as the dust settles, Chaya coughing and clutching her gut.

“Owie.” she says, rolling on the ground. You sense Broly’s ki rising, yet he keeps his power restrained, holding his ground.
“Alright, your turn.” you say, blasting over to Broly. He tries to strike you as you charge, you leaving an afterimage to hit as you circle behind him.
“RRRAAAA!!” he shouts, punching the afterimage, passing harmlessly through it. “Ah-Huh?”
“Got you.” you say, grabbing him by the tail. Before he can react you swing him over your head, crashing down on top of Chilli. “C’mon, did you all forget what we’re doing?”

“We’re trainin’.” Chaya says, rising up a little unsteadily to her feet.
“Wrong.” you say, the three listening as Broly and Chilli untangle themselves from each other, rising to their feet as well. “You’ve gotta defend yourselves. You’re not trying to hit me, you’re trying to protect youselves.”
“That’s not a good way to fight...” Broly says with a frown, not understanding.
“You’re right, it isn’t a good way to fight.” you say, rolling back your sleeves and showing the three of them your collection of scars on your arms. “You defend yourself often enough, and you’ll end up with a collection of scars like mine. But learning how to defend yourself is important. It’s better to end up with a bunch of scars than to end up dead. Chaya, what happened when that monster bit you?”

“It hurt!” she says, glancing down at the visible scars across her left shin. “It hurt a lot.”
“Yes, but what happened next?” you ask, pressing her. However, Broly gets it.
“She got bit again.” he says, eyes widening. You nod, proud of the boy.
“Exactly. That pain stopped you from fighting.” you say, dropping back into your stance. “And that could get you killed in a fight. So starting today, we’re gonna start training this weakness out of you three. Understood?”
“Yes!” they all shout together, then drop back into their stances. You take yours as well, a faint smile on your face as you remember the days spent training with Nappa, Leyas, Sarada, and Turles back on Planet Vegeta.

“Alright, let’s go!” you shout, dashing to them again as your children all hold their ground. You spend the next hour or so of the morning training them, your unceasing attacks pushing the three of them’s limits. And with a final punch into Broly’s crossed arms, your force overwhelming him and sending him crashing to the ground. Broly doesn’t get up, chest heaving as he lays on the ground. Chaya and Chilli are still down, both having gave out before Broly did.

“Haaaaa. Good job kids.” you say, sitting down with them while you wait for them to recover. Looking at them as they all lay wherever they fell, exhausted, you can’t help but feel pride in your kids. “Soo, who’s ready for breakfast?”
“MEEEEE!” Chaya shouts, leaping back to her feet almost immediately. You chuckle and help Chilli back to his feet, Broly standing up tiredly on his own.
“Haha, alright, let’s go to-“

“-the ocean.” you say, lifting a bit up off the ground.
“Huh?” Chaya asks you, confused.
“C’mon, aren’t you guys hungry?” you call down to them. “Breakfast isn’t gonna wait all day.”

They look among themselves a moment before lifting up into the air, confused yet still following you. You lead them across the continent to the edge of the ocean before dropping down, landing in the sand as the waves gently wash up towards you then back away.

“Why are we here?” Broly asks you. “Aren’t we getting breakfast?”
“No, you three are getting breakfast.” you say, your kids all looking blankly back at you. You then turn, gesturing to the ocean. “There’s thousands of things to eat in this ocean, go find something you wanna eat and bring it back.”
“We-We’re gettin’ our own?” Chilli asks you, head tilted in confusion.
“That’s it.” you say. “Find something out there you wanna eat; bring it back and we’ll cook it right up.”
“Okaaaaay!” Chaya shouts, excitedly blasting off into the ocean. Broly and Chilli share a look, then follow her into the water as well. Once they take off you focus your ki sense, following them with your mind. Less than a minute later Chaya returns, a massive shark-like creature with bone spines protruding from all over it’s back held over her head, it flailing and trying desperately to get away. “I got one!”
“Good catch kiddo.” you say, drawing your Ki Blade and decapitating it in a single stroke. “Set it down over there.”
“Okay!” she says, tossing it where you pointed. She’s clearly proud of herself, your oldest daughter beaming. A few seconds later Broly emerges, a slightly larger one held overhead. Unlike Chaya’s, Broly’d smashed his’ head in, the creature dead before he left the water. Seeing Chaya’s he touches down, dropping it beside hers. Chaya sees it’s longer than hers by over a foot, your daughter crossing her arms and ‘hmpm’-ing.

“Nice one Broly.” you say, decapitating it as well. Chaya sticks her tongue out at Broly, while you focus on Chilli. It’s been well over a minute now and he hasn’t come up, you wondering what’s taking him so long. You then feel his ki signature getting closer, bringing something up with a powerlevel of several tens of thousands, nearybon par with his own. What in the world did he catch?

“Baaaaah!!” Chilli gasps for air as he breaks free of the water, your brain struggling to understand what you’re looking at for a second or two. Chilli’s carrying some sort of crab-like creature, it trying it’s best to snap at your son with it’s many claws.
“SKREEEEEEE!” it calls, suddenly breaking free of your son’s grip and diving back towards the water.
“NO!” he shouts, barely catching it by the foot. The crab-like creature kicks back at him with it’s other foot, it connecting with Chilli’s face in a spray of blood. Your son loses the creature, kicked into the air by the force of the creature’s kick. You dash to Chilli, catching him and making sure he’s okay.
“Owww.” Chilli says, holding his face as tears and blood pour down through his fingers.

“Woah, what was that?” Chaya asks, rushing up excitedly to you both as you examine Chilli’s face. The kick from that crab creature broke his nose, you gently pulling his hands away then grabbing his nose. Before Chilli can realize what’s happening you pop his nose back into place. He flinches in surprise, you keeping him from instinctually grabbing it.

“Got it!” Broly shouts from below you, you and Chaya looking down to see Broly having caught the creature. He tosses it into the air, gathering his ki into his fist and slamming it into the crab creature’s head. His attack explodes, blowing up the crab’s head as rhe blast sends it crashing to the sand.
“Good job Broly.” you say, carrying Chilli as you and Chaya touch down by the creatute.
“What’s that?” Chaya asks, tentatively poking it. You make sure Chilli’s okay first, setting him down on his feet after he gives a shaky thumbs-up.
“Dunno, but there’s a lot of them down there.” he says, you getting your first good look at it. It is vaguely humanoid in shape, two giant claws tip it’s large arms, smaller claws on it’s four smaller chest-arms. “They look strong, so I thought they’d taste good.”

“Let’s see.” you say, digging your fingers into it’s shell. With a small heave you crack it open, the creature’s white meat exposed to the sky. You fry it with a blast of ki, the cooked creature smelling surprisingly good. You then blast the shark creatures Chaya and Broly caught, all three smelling appetizing. “Alright, dig in.”

“Aaaaah, that’s good.” you say, leaning back on your elbows. “You guys caught a good breakfast, well done.”
“Faank uuuu.” Chaya says through a mouthful, your daughter clearly enjoying the crablike creature the most. Although you can’t tell if she likes the flavor, or breaking the shell to eat it the most.
“Thanks Dad.” Broly says, as Chilli’s already laying flat on his back and sighing contentedly. With everyone now full, you still have the rest of the day ahead of you.

Re-educating my son will take quite some time, but once he has truly repented for his crimes I shall make sure to inform you. And by then he will be more than eager to teach you his technique.”
“Alright, I understand.” you reply, slightly disappointed. You’d hoped to get started sooner rather than later, but something gives you the feeling asking exactly what this “re-education” entails wouldn’t be wise. “I guess I’ll ask again some other time.”
“Of course, feel free to call whenever.” Cold says, then ending the communication. You open your eyes as Chaya suddenly shouts.

“Momma!” she shouts, you looking around to see Meloka standing near, holding the hands of your two youngest. You’re surprised to see the twins in matching brown and black suits of armor, your two youngest looking like proper warriors. “Oh wow! Tatsu an’ Tomi got their own armor?”
“Yes Chaya, they’re finally old enough.” Meloka says with a smile. “So what’re we doing all the way out here?”
“We ate breakfast!” Chaya says, pointing to the now-empty crabshell, then proudly showing off her bruised and battered forearms. “An’ before that Daddy was trainin’ us!”
“Really?” Meloka asks her, then turning to you with an eyebrow raised.
“What?” you ask, Meloka just shaking her head, small smile on her face.

You all rise up as one, taking off slowly so little Tatsu and Tomi aren’t dragged along by Meloka. You all fly together, after a few moments Chaya “Ahh!”s in surprise. You turn to her, Chaya suddenly blasting away.

“I almost forgot, I’ll catch up!” she shouts, flying swiftly away. You and Meloka share a confused glance, you both shrugging. Whatever she’s doing, it must be important to her. You continue flying over the continent towards the city, after a few minutes touching down outside his now-reinforced shop. As you’re about to open the door, you sense Chaya and another flying towards you all. As she closes in, you see she’s holding onto her friend Megumin, the witch clutching onto her hat and staff. “See? I told you Megu, we’ll get you some armor too!”
“Next time don’t go so fast!” Megumin says, unsteady on her feet. “You know flying fast makes me dizzy.”
“I’m sorry.” Chaya says insincerely, more excited than apologetic. “But you said you wanted some cool armor too, and I didn’t want you to be left out!”
“How considerate kiddo.” you say, Chaya beaming as Megumin’s cat Chomusuke peeks it’s head out from under her hat, meowing as you all walk in.

“Well well, look who it is!” the yellow-skinned armorer says. “ Mr ‘Dragon of New Salda’ himself. Don’t let all the fame go to your head, or we won’t have any scouters big enough.”
“Good to see you too.” you say. “Thanks for getting them geared up.”

I don't know where the line is for literal newborns. I mean clearly they aren't people because they haven't had the displeasure of filing taxes yet but do we count them as political extremists or entitled snobs? Looking through the options, you’re not really satisfied with any of them. You think of several differing armor designes yourself: some simple and practical, and others worthless or even downright ludicrous. But as you mull between the designs dissatisfied, the others are far quicker to find something they like.

“Ta-daaa!” Chaya says, you turning to your oldest daughter as she steps out of the back. Her armor is certainly different, not something you’d seen around very often before. She was also clearly influenced by her mother, as well as perhaps by her friend Megumin. “Whaddya think?”
“I think it looks good on you kiddo.” you say, Chaya beaming at your approval. Meanwhile Broly’s switched to the green shoulderless armor with a matching scouter, and Chilli is in armor similar to Meloka’s but with full length pants.
“What, not finding anything you like?” the armorer asks you. “If you want I might be able to get something custom-ordered, if you get me a few good sketches.”
“Alright, I’ll keep that in mind.” you say, Meloka keeping her same armor as well. Megumin then nervously steps out, you all turning to her.
“Umm, I, uhh.” she says, nervous with everyone’s eyes suddenly on her. She’s dressed in a red undersuit and a dark shoulderpad-less armor, yet still wearing her cloak and hat over it. “Wha-Whaddya think?”

“You look great!” Chaya shouts excitedly, grabbing her friend’s hands and bouncing up and down. “So cool!”
“I guess I do look pretty cool, huh?” Megumin says, posing for a moment and admiring herself. She then brandishes her staff at the mirror, gathering her magical power. “Crimson-black blaze, king of-!”
“Hey, no explosions in my shop!” the armorer shouts, shocking her into dispelling her power. “If you wanna do that, take it outside! I’m not having you blast my shop to bits, got it ‘Crazy Explosion Girl’?”
“Hey, who’re you calling ‘Crazy Explosion Girl’?” she shouts angrily, brandishing her staff at the armorer, tip glowing with crimson power. “I’ll blow you to bits! Ah-Hey!”

“Sorry about that, we’ll be going now. See ya around.” you tell him, grabbing Megumin by the back of her armor and carrying her from the building. You all walk out, the door sliding shut behind you all.
“Well, now that that’s out of the way.” Meloka says. “What now?”

“I’m gonna go visit with the Guardian.” she says. “Got something I want to ask him.”
“Alright, sounds good.” you say to her, turning to the kids. “So what’re you guys gonna do now?”
“I wanna go see Teacher!” Chaya says, you sure Megumin’s going with her. Chilli says he wants to go with you, Broly seeming unsure of which way to go. After a moment he decides to go with you, you kissing Meloka then the both of you heading your seperate ways. You focus on Vegeta’s ki, leading Broly and Chilli again to Vegeta’s palace.

Landing outside the palace you nod to the guards, who nod back as you walk past them and into his palace. You follow King Vegeta’s ki deeper inside the palace, heading right to his private gravity chamber. You walk to the door, nodding to the Royal Guards posted outside the door and making your way inside. Once inside you see King Vegeta, in his Ascended Super Saiyan form, clenching his fists. He suddenly shouts out, his aura flaring wildly as his power starts to climb. You watch curiously, after several moments his aura vanishes, dropping down to a knee and panting.

“D-Dammit.” he mutters, having reverted back to her base form. “I need more po-Oh! Hey Karn.”
“Mornin’ King Vegeta.” you say, walking up to him and holding a hand down. “Back to training?”
“Yeah.” he says, clasping your hand and you helping him up to his feet. “I’ve been trying to unlock that form Meloka used against Trigon. What about you?”
“Well, it’s going well.” you say, Chilli coming up to him excitedly.
“Hi King!” he says, Vegeta chuckling and ruffling his hair.
“Hey Chilli.” Vegeta says, kneeling to him. “Have you been practicing?”
“Yeah!” Chilli says excitedly, Vegeta laughing then turning to Broly.
“How about you Broly?” Vegeta asks him. “Been working on that powerful transformation of yours?”
“...Not like I should have been.” Broly says embarrassedly, Vegeta walking over to him and placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Look, don’t worry about it.” he says, Broly looking questioningly up to him. “You’re still a kid. And on top of that you have a power only Karn really understands. You just need to spend more time training to control it. You have a great power, which means you have a great responsibility to control it, and not let it control you.”
“R-Right!” Broly says, Vegeta smiling at him then turning to you.
“So, what’s going on?” Vegeta asks you.
“Any news from the Zoldycks?” you ask him, Vegeta’s mood instantly darkening.

“A combat trial?” you ask, confused by his shift in mood. “That’s great. I beat him years ago, as strong as you are it shouldn’t be a-“
“Do you really think he took that defeat lightly?” Vegeta asks you. “You were the first person to beat him in decades, then after that you said he was captured by those brothers. Zeno also told me that he’s been getting far stronger as well.”
“Are you afraid of him?” you ask, Vegeta shaking his head.

“I’m not afraid, at least, not of him.” Vegeta says. “I’m more worried abou-“
“Hey, you still in he- Oh hey Karn.” Emilia says, walking in. “Hey Chilli, Broly. What, no Chaya with you today?”
“Hi!” Chilli says with a wave.”
“Hey.” Broly says, mind still clearly on what Vegeta told him.
“Nah, she’s with her mother right now.” you say to her, Emilia bringing Vegeta an odd-looking water container. Your king takes a few gulps before capping it, nodding appreciatively to her. “Anyways, if you’re gonna fight him in a week, trying to get Super Saiyan 3 may not be the best option.” you say, both Vegeta and Emilia looking confused to you.

“Wait, you don’t mean-?” Vegeta asks, seeming stunned.
“Super Saiyan isn’t the be-all and end-all of our power.” you tell him, Vegeta looking to you curiously. “To see the true power of a Super Saiyan, you have to combine it with our roots.”
“Combine it?” he asks, seemingly confused. “Combined with what?”
“Oozaru.” you say, his eyes widening in surprise. “Golden Oozaru is an extremely powerful form, stronger than either transformation by itself. But even that form isn’t the endpoint.”
“You mean like, well.” he says, then thinks to you. “Like Chaya from the future?”
“Exactly.” you say. “Mastering Golden Oozaru is how you achieve power like that.”
“I see...” he says, you seeing the thoughts on his face. He’s preparing to head outside to work on that form.

“That said, Silva is a really skilled opponent.” you say, Vegeta turning back to you. “And your power alone won’t decide it, especially if you use a form you can only hold for a few seconds. And as an Ascended Super Saiyan, you’re more than strong enough.”
“Karn’s right.” Emilia says, jumping in. “Being stronger won’t make much of a difference against Father, if it only lasts for a few seconds. But why are you going to be fighting him in the first place?”
“I’ll leave you two to that.” you say with a smirk, Emilia looking confused between the two of you. “You need anything, you know how to get ahold of me.”
“Same to you.” he says with a nod, then to Broly and Chilli. “And I’ll see you two later.”
“Byee!” Chilli says with a wave, the three of you taking your leave. You make your way out of the palace, stretching in the sunlight. You still have the rest of the afternoon ahead of you.
