"What nonsense are you talking about?! I'm only here because you've killed Joseph!"
"Are you really? Well, aside from my desire to keep living as I always did, there are 2 elements inside this room that contribute to Yoshikage Kira's consistent love for lady luck."
"Star Finger!" Jotaro tried to pierce Kira's neck from a distance by daring to threaten his wife, but an invisible barrier blocked the attack from connecting.
"Jotaro-san! What's happening? We can't move out of this room!" Rohan tried to move away from the his spot, but he was stuck in the same way a mimic can't move out from his invisible box.
"Atom Heart Father will teach you a thing or two about messing with my dear boy Yoshikage!" A man's voice was suddenly heard in the room, despite nobody else being seen.
"Thank you father. And now, exhibit B, the second item that convinced me lady luck has sided with me!" Kira pulled out a golden Stand Arrow from behind Killer Queen, thus revealing the 4th magical artifact from the Stardust Crusader's ongoing quest and explaining how Kira got his powers.

"Good grief, Kira. How much stuff are you going to pull out of your ass to try and get away?" Jotaro kept punching the invisible walls tha confined his actions, but the attacks were nulled by the mysterious Stand.

Well, on the bright side.
If we survive this, it'll probably be an immensely important catalyst for the decision to become ultimate.

The information overload is starting to make you crack. First a free for all between Stand Users, and that's a first in your 11 years of activity, but now Kira just so happens to have a second arrow safely hidden in his house, a invisible father who's been helping him all along, and to top it all off Kira knows what the Stand Arrow does and wants to stay hidden with it?
Whatever. For once you're not interested in asking for more information. Josuke, Kakyoin and Hazamada are fighting to the death against Sheer Heart Attack. Your husband and Rohan are currently trapped fighting who knows what, and you're the only one who can stop the serial killer who's been hiding in plain sight for longer than Josuke's had his ugly hairdo. Does it really matter how he got to this point? What are you going to achieve by knowing that now?
You're alone with Kira and a Stand Arrow, and no one else can stop him. That's all that matters, these 2 sentences should be enough for you to get your job done. Don't waste your time thinking when you could be fighting.
"HAAAARGH!"
"KORE SORE KORE SORE KORE!" You lunge at Yoshikage with Karma Chameleon. Your calves propelling you in his direction. Killer Queen responded by parrying your blows with his elbows, taking expendable damage on his joints before jumping to the rooftop of his house.
"Fragment Alignment Overdrive!" You attempt to strike him mid-air by connecting the dust particles in the air, but your lack of Hamon finesse meant your attack took longer to charge, and even longer to follow your moving target.
Thinking on your feet, you pursuit the criminal, leaving Jotaro and Rohan to take care of Yoshihiro Kira and his paranormal Stand, Atom Heart Father.

"I like how you act, Doctor. No questions, no talk, all action. You're just as straight to the point as I am." Kira taunted you with a flirt, giving away his location as he climbed down the roof and around the garden's corner.
"Get back here!" You try to run the corner at full sprint, but turns out he wasn't where you thought he would be. Soon as you arrived at planthouse he was out of your sight. There was nothing there aside from a few exotic plants and a large mirror frame facing you.
"A mirror--!" You figured out he deceived you with his local furniture, but your stomach being blown out by a pink, furry fist of Killer Queen himself was your first and only warning.
>>
>>3226414
"Oh, doctor. Do you really think you wand your friends were the first one to think I was an eccentric person? I'll have you know that when I bought this mirror, a few officers came to my house to ask me about a few noise complaints they've heard around this block when Angelo escaped his cell. I had yet to move this mirror to my living room, until I saw one of the officers messing around with my girlfriend's purse. And I couldn't have that, could I? He was in a blind spot around the corner, but the reflection in the mirror gave him away."
You try to let go of him while gagging on your blood and resisting the excruciating pain, but he keeps telling his story, even if you're not paying attention.
"Since then I've kept this mirror here for 7 months, thinking he could serve me some other purpose. 7 is a lucky number, just like breaking a mirror is associated with bad luck. In layman's terms, Doctor: Luck has sided with Yoshikage Kira yet again!
Killer Queen disintegrates your body, leaving only but your hands and Karma Chameleon's four arms, letting your demise show itself as a trophy for his collection.

"HITOMI-SAN!" Josuke, who was done fighting Sheer Heart Attack and followed after you with Kakyoin and Hazamada, arrived too late to save you. His furious stand tackled Kira in ire, clashing against the mirror and breaking Kira on him.
Josuke and Kira fell on top of each other, as did Killer Queen and Crazy Diamond. The Stand Arrow pierced them both as they hit the glassy floor beneath them. As the fateful arrow traveled through their bodies, destiny itself altered your reality, rifting time and space along with them.
"Mama!Mama! Wake up! You're late for work!" Jolyne woke you up as you jumped out of bed with a scream.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
"Waah!" Your daughter cowered in fear under the bed, terrified of the abnormal, blood curling shriek from just being woken up.
You frantically paced yourself. What happened? Don't tell me this was all a dream...
You touch your fingers, feel yourself up from head to toe, look around the hotel room, and even look out your window to check if you were still in Morioh, but it all checked out.
"Mama, were you having nightmares again...?" I thought those stopped after you healed your eyes...

"Work? What work are you talking about, Jolyne?" You answer your daughter in honest concern and confusion. You were supposed to be fighting Kira, but you wouldn't really call that a job...
"You were going to treat Okuyasu's father, remember? That's the only reason we haven't gone back home yet. You were trying to find a cure for his dad while Papa studies the starfishes."
"Is... That what we've been working on?" You do remember him saying something about Morioh's unique marine life, but that was never really his priority.
"I thought we were here for the arrows, sweetie. The ones that give you Stand powers?" You try to correct her, but the homeschooled child shook her head.
"No Mama! You're getting it all wrong! You already got the 2 arrows in Morioh. It happened when we first got here, remember?" Jolyne refreshes your apparently fake memory.
"You're playing a prank on me, right?"
"I'm serious, Mama! Why are you acting so weird all of a sudden?!" Jolyne pouts, offended at you implying she was a liar.
"But I only got one arrow after I arrived in Morioh, and that was weeks after I met Josuke!"

"Who is Josuke?"
"Wh-What?" Ok, something is definitely wrong here. Have you been dreaming the past few months and it's all been a huge lie to you? You've heard a few medications can make your dreams run a lot longer than the time you've been sleeping, but there's no way that can't be right. Not after that...
Fine, let's see what has changed here. Jolyne can be a good mediator for this new reality.

>How did you get your Stand?
>How many friends have you made here in Morioh?
>Have I mentioned a man named Kira before?

If it IS a bite the dust loop then mentioning Kira is bad news. Jolyne's answer to the first question can tell us if we've met Rohan + Remi + the rest of the Morioh. Her answer to the second question can help fill in the blanks of events in this loop.

"If Josuke doesn't exist, how did I get my eyes healed then?" You ask, stretching your eye sockets out. This is absurd, how did you fix those injuries without Crazy Diamond.
"Tonio's."
"Oh, right... Well, how did I get the arrows then?" You shook your head, filling in the blanks as to what happened in this alternate reality where Josuke never lived.
"You and Papa bumped into that blonde guy with the arrow. Keicho, wasn't it? He had both arrows on him and was searching around town for Stand users with his bro Okuyasu.
"I found him on the road soon as I stepped out of the boat, just like that? No way that ever happened?"
"Isn't that how we usually find Stand Users?"
"...Touche..." You rest your head on your pillow. Just how many differences does that make? You refuse to believe Josuke's not real, this has to be the work of an enemy Stand.
"Ok, How many friends have you made here in Morioh?" You try to ask her on who else has gone missing so far without coming off weird.

"Several! I'm so glad Kakyoin got together with Aya! Do you think they'll have kids? Maybe the baby will show up when his video game is done! What was the name of it again? Shen...Shenmoo? Something like that..." Jolyne's smile perks up as she gets to talk about her interactions with the other Stand users.
"Who else?"
Okuyasu and Hazamada are very cool to hang around with too! I thought they were dumb and weird at first, but they were very nice to me when I got lost on their school."
"Anyone else?"
"Avdol is very serious, I wish we had something in common to talk about, I can't talk to him without sounding... Boring... I can see why Grandpa Joseph likes him."
'Likes'? Present tense? I guess if Josuke's not around he wouldn't come to Morioh, or get murdered by Kira...
"What about Reimi? Do you know her?"
"Nope... Never heard of her before. Is that a friend of Yukako? She can be nice, but I'm still scared of her after seeing how she treats Rohan and Koichi."
So Koichi is still alive too? But if Reimi's not around, that means...
"Have you heard of a K--"
"Mama, you're just stalling for time now! That's not cool! Get motivated! You need to be strong and go to work!" Little Jolyne pushed you off the bed so you could get dressed.
"B-But I'm not done with--"
"No buts! You're sounding like me when I need to study!" She left the room to end the conversation.

"What have you done to me Kira? I thought you killed me back there!"
"Indeed I have, Doctor. But the Arrow was kind enough to give you a second chance, no doubt thanks to Josuke."
You call back to when Polnareff got the arrow against Diavolo and turned Silver Chariot into Chariot Requiem. He acquired an ability that gave him exactly what he needed to stop Diavolo from killing him after severing his leg.
"No... Nononono...This can't be! If you've done anything to Jouske! I swear I'll--"
"Hold your tongue, Hitomi." Kira spoke through Killer Queen's stoic expression. "I have done no harm to Josuke on purpose. He has simply disappeared ever since my third bomb was activated.
"Third bomb?"
"Bites The Dust. Killer Queen's third ability. I have managed to rewind time to prevent the catastrophes that happened today inside my villa. The time loop I've set you in made everyone forget about me, Josuke, and whatever else happened in between those related occurrences. Bites The Dust is nothing but the natural evolution of Killer Queen and how I've used it's ability to disappear without a trace."
"You bastard... That won't stop me from finding you again!"
"On your own? I'd say you have a death wish, but since you've already died before I can say that has already been granted." Kira laughs. "Don't waste this opportunity, Doctor. I'm giving you a chance to escape. The first time I've ever given any of my victims this opportunity."
"Escape?"
"You have exactly what you wanted, Morioh's Second Arrow, Koichi Hirose and Joseph Joestar are alive as well. All at the price of having my freedom, and Josuke's existence. You can leave Morioh and let me in peace if you want. Forget that all of this has ever happened. It will be easier for the two of us."
"And why would I do that, asshole? What's stopping me from sending my team to your house again?"
"Bites The Dust, of course. The mere mention of my name or my identity to anyone you meet will erase them from this reality on contact, the same way it happened to Josuke. Thankfully your daughter Jolyne stopped you from killing her, I imagine that would trouble your sleep at night..."

"Grr..." Fuck, It doesn't sound like Kira is bluffing. He would have placed a remote bomb inside people's eyes if he could do it before, so you have no response other than an angry groan.
"I want you to consider your options here, Doctor. This was the closest someone has ever gotten to discovering who I was. Therefore I need to treat you with just as much caution."

>But why would you give me this chance? Couldn't you let me die?

Thanks for today’s run, Dust! Hope you get to recovering quickly and completely!

Still, makes me wonder why Kira is even baragining with Hitomi or why she even remembers stuff. Josuke missing must not be a part of Kira’s plan, or Hitomi must be a vital part of breaking Bites the Dust’s hold.

In either case, I hope we get to accelerate the timetable for an in-character epiphany about the Ultimate solution.

I’m rather curious as to why Kira choose to make such minor alterations to the timeline with KQ: Bites the Dust. If his stand is truly as powerful as he says it is, couldn’t he alter his hobbies to an extent where he doesn’t have such a murderous fetish?

I mean, the whole reason why we have a beef with him is that he kills people for his hand fetish, not that he has a hand fetish. If it weren’t for that little detail, we might not have even discovered him. We might have even tried to recruit him into the Speedwagon Foundation, possibly by citing that the threats that the Foundation combats regularly threaten the power balance of the world and by proxy his desire to live quietly.

Kira couldn't use Bites the Dust on himself in the original manga, so it probably works on similar rules here.

The surgery went alright, I just lost a lot of blood because I'm one of those rare people that doesn't react to anesthethic so I moved around a lot during the procedure.

Anyway Kira's Bites The Dust works a bit different than canon since he got it in different circumstances. Either way you shouldn't trust his bargaining if you remember how BTD works.

Huh, Hitomi's never had a good foil enemy-wise before. I never thought about that. I'm liking how I've been handling Kira so far though, DIU's comfy setting didn't translate that well writing-wise but it's good to know that I got this part right at the very least

Enough talk, time to Open The Game!
>>
Josuke Higashikata. He's your only scapegoat out of this situation if you think about it.
Kira said he got pierced with the arrow too, that means he should have gotten a new Stand ability along with Kira, but instead he just disappeared without Kira doing anything to him.
Either he died instantly from Bites The Dust, or he's still alive somewhere. You just need to find him, wherever he is.
Furthermore, saying anything about Kira means that person will die, but you mentioned Josuke to Jolyne and nothing happened. If you can't search for Kira, refreshing people's memories on Josuke might do the trick.
Still, why wouldn't Kira just kill you right now? Why bother giving you a chance to escape when he can kill you without so much as lifting a finger? This is sounding very unlike him, so it would be wise not to fully trust his words.

"You do not need to answer me right not, Doctor. I'll be generous and give you some time to think. How about... Until 8:58?"
8:58? That's 47 minutes from now, why be so specific? Is he waiting for something to happen on that time frame.
That also puts a damper on things. Whoever's going to help you find Josuke needs to show up fast. You'll only have enough room to thoroughly visit one place at most, and that's if you get out of bet right now.

You knock on Kakyoin's hotel room, but a small note on the doorknob gives you a hint on where he went.
"Visiting Aya for today, call me if you need any help."
Good to know they're still together even in this weird reality without Josuke...
There goes your cab. You know, a personal driver wouldn't hurt you in the slightest at times like these. You have a few millions in your net worth, wouldn't hurt to spend your life like the older Joestars do... This Stand secrecy is now forcing you to walk on foot at the most unfortunate occasion!
You run all the 60 blocks from Morioh Grand Hotel up to the Higashikata household, where only Tomoko and Ryohei now live. I guess you would never have met Tomko either with Josuke's absence. How exactly do you explain to a woman in her 30s that she had an affair with an old man from the States?
8:51?! You'll have to do all the talking in 7 minutes? Well ain't that just great.

*Ding Dong*
"Coming!" Tomoko takes her sweet time dragging her feet to the door.
*Ding Dong*
You're in a bit of a hurry here, Tomoko! Please?!
*Ding Dong*
"Jeez! Calm down already, missy! It's 9 PM on a Saturday. What do you want?!" The feisty teacher talked down at you.

>Hello! We're technically family, I think.
>Sorry Tomoko-san! I'm here to talk about your son.
>Does the name Josuke ring any bells to you?
>Is your father home?

Mention a description of him regarding his kinda stupid looking steak hair. If we have time, tell her that we were looking for him because he saved us when we were very young and trapped in a blizzard.

Hopefully that story and hair mention will jog her memory loose, or help to at least.

"Hello Tomoko-San. We've met before, remember? You're technically part of my family, I think..." You try and think of a good greeting, but being in a hurry and scared for your life will understandably affect your social skills.
"Huh? I don't remember seeing you around here. You must be confusing me with someone else." Tomoko eyes you up and down, but nothing about you in particular rings a bell or her.
"My name is Hitomi Kujo. I've visited your house when Angelo was on the loose. I haven't talked to your father Ryohei though." You continue the conversation going, seeing if you can get a reaction from her while the clock is ticking.
"Hm... Can't say I remember you. Are you sure you've been here before?" She pondered for a bit longer this time. Maybe her memories are starting to clash with yours?
8:52... She sounds intrigued, so at least she won't be closing the door on your face because you're creeping her out, but she's not inviting you in either...

"Alright, what did you come here for, Hitomi?" Tomoko humors you.
"Is your son home?" You asked, leaving her visibly confused.
"Uhh... I don't have a son, Hitomi. I have been single for the past 16 years."
"Why?"
"I don't know, I just have! There aren't any good men worth settling down with nowadays! What's it to ya, anyway?"
"S-sorry to probe! It's just that you're still young and good looking. I thought it'd be weird for you to not be looking for anyone." The cracks are starting to show in her story. If she's not a working class, single mom anymore, you'd think she'd have found someone in 16 years instead of staying at home.
8:53...
"Did you come here just to judge my life decisions? Because I got something for nosy people like you" Tomoko pulled up her sleeve.
"P-Please don't get angry! I just want to know if the name Josuke sounds familiar to you!" You stand back and squint your body, but instead of giving you a slap, Tomoko places her hands on her hips, repeating the name you mentioned.
"Josuke... Josuke... Josuke! I have heard that name before, but where...?"
8:54...

>He's your son, Tomoko! His name is Josuke Higashikata!
>He has a unique hairstyle. It looks like an upside down boot with a grilled steak for a heel.

Soon as the name Josuke came out of her mouth, you could see a few things change on Tomoko's living room. Her couch got a bit dirtier, her feminine decorations for the house gave space to a gender neutral, and a SEGA Dreamcast was set under the TV. This is working!
8:55
"He has a unique hairstyle. It looks like an upside down boot with a grilled steak for a heel!" You comb your hair so it looked a bit like his, but your short hair length only made you look like a punk. How long did he grow his hair out for that pompadour, anyway?
"Hm? Why would anyone have a hair like that? Sounds like a lot of work just to look like a delinquent..." Tomoko giggled.
"But that's your son's hairdo! His name is Josuke Higashikata!"
"Wh-What?"
"You both got trapped in your car when he was sick, but a man similar to how he looks saved him. It was 1988, and he got sick from an unknown disease. You tried driving all the way to S-City to leave him at a good hospital, but your car got stuck in the mud, if it weren't for the bystander there, Josuke's most traumatic experience would be his last one!"
You give Tomoko one final nudge by recalling the effort she went through just to save her beloved son. The one she would do anything for, even if it meant sacrificing her aspirations.
8:56
Tomoko starts to tear up after remembering what happened.
"J-Josuke! I remember him now. He's my son!"
"Pardon my language, Mum. But if you don't mind me asking... The fuck did you say about my hair?! You know I don't like it when people insult me like that... I thought you of all people would understand how I feel. Not cool." A bloody, mud-covered Josuke climbed to the 1st floor of the house, smirking after being brought back to reality.
"JOSUKE!" You bear-hugged the teenager after seeing him return. "Where the hell have you been, boy? Did the arrow give you the power to disappear at will?"
"Haha! Not quite, Hitomi-san." Josuke explains his new ability: "I'm not really sure how this works yet, but apparently I was sent back to the past. I could spectate what happened in my life in a big screen in front of me, as if I was a ghost. Naturally I went right back to when I got stuck on Mum's car to get a look on my hero, but he... Didn't show up..."

"What do you mean?"
"I kept waiting and waiting, but nothing happened. I felt scared, it was as if I was reliving that moment again, but I was actually watching it too. That's when I tried interacting with what was around me... And let's just say, I found out who saved me when I was a kid..." Josuke said, explaining how he got himself in a time loop.
"Whoa, but then what?"
"I went back to spectating things, but when I tried going back to present time, I got sent to your house instead. No one remembered me, and I couldn't interact with anyone. Altering the past somehow made me stop existing because I messed with myself? Argh! I don't know how time travel works!" Josuke rubbed his forehead.
"Wait, so you can rewind time? Just like Kira?!"
"I don' think I'll mess with time again if it means I'll disappear and people will forget I existed, but yeah, I think I can. Wait, did Kira get time powers too?" Josuke gasped.
"Well they don't work exactly like yours do, but--"
8:58
"Hitomi Kujo, you will now be victim to Killer Queen's Third Bomb: Bites The Dust!" Kira's voice echoed in your head as his Stand went inside your eye, the hole you got on your stomach from before reappearing once again.
"Kira, you liar! You weren't giving me time to think! 8:58 was the exact time I died, wasn't it?"
Killer Queen tried aimed a punch inside your eye, but Crazy Diamond somehow took the miniature cat out of your eye and held it with his thumb and index finger.
"So that's your new ability, Kira? You even gave it a cool name!" Josuke grinned.
"Wh-What? JOSUKE?! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!"
"We have similar abilities now and got them at the same time, right? If you can screw around with time, then I guess it's up for me to restore it. "Josuke and Crazy Diamond became transparent, as did you and Killer Queen."
"Crazy Diamond: Shine On!" Josuke mockingly gave his Stand Ability a new name.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Kira screamed as he was sent flying with you and Josuke through space and time.
"We're going back, Kira! Back to where we started!" Josuke undid Bites The Dust's effects and broke Kira's luck streak as he materialized himself back where he was, face down in the mirror, tackling Kira and Killer Queen.
Only this time, the arrow was in your hands, and Karma Chameleon was helping Josuke by grappling the hand fetishist too.
"Now, where were we? HUH?!" Josuke shouted in Kira's trembling ear, his late assist now being a full-on checkmate.

>Place the arrow away from the duo.

"You know, Kira. Karma's hands weren't made with your sick tastes in mind. I can actually use them to absorb stuff, including Stands." You place Karma's absorption jewels on Killer Queen's face, turning her into a pink, furry statue.
"And best of all, Karma's attributes get boosted by absorbing whatever she had before, I even managed to stop time with Star Platinum before. Do you think I can turn you into a bomb like Killer Queen does?"
"There's only one way to find out!" Josuke shrugs, keeping Kira in place as he squirmed like the worm he was, no matter how many times he elbowed and headbutted Josuke, the pompadour boy stood still with a smile on his face, knowing there was no way his father's murderer could escape.
"Click!" Kira's body started to crumble into bits, vanishing into the air as he screamed one last time.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
"So long Kira. You won't be missed..." Josuke waved at the air, glad to have avenged Joseph.
"PHEW!" You drop on all fours, feeling exhausted after going through the last few minutes. "I feel like I just ran a marathon!"
"No kidding, you also died, too! How many people can say that?" Josuke stretched himself, for a bit, letting the feeling of catharsis be welcomed in his hometown. Morioh was finally safe once again.
"I feel completely refreshed. It's like I've put on a fresh pair of undies on New Year's day!" He sat down on the windowsill as Hazamada, Kakyoin, Rohan and Jotaro showed up on the garden.
"So... Where is Kira?!" Kakyoin asked.
"We blew him up. He's dead." You sighed. "How did you take care of the photo guy?"
"Turns out he was Kira's father; Yoshihiro Kira, an old fart who coddled Kira way too much. He died of cancer some time before Kira's mom did, but he was in on Reimi's murder." Rohan explained.
"He bought an Arrow from Enya and gave Kira his Stand so he could be the monster he turned into. He lived on through his Stand that sealed himself inside pictures, but Kakyoin and Hazamada helped us out in the nick of time.
"I made Surface turn into Yoshihiro just to see if it worked on ghosts, and it actually did! Then Kakyoin took another photo of him with a camera and ripped him in half! I saved everyone and helped with taking care of a serial killer today!" Hazamada beamed with pride, despite being the one who contributed the least on your plans.

"So where did he go out to?" You ask Reimi on ghost Kira's whereabouts.
"You remember when I said the ghost alley drags your soul to the void if you look back past the mailbox? Yeah, that's where he went, poor bastard didn't know I've been planning this for years." Reimi responded with glee.
"And how do you feel knowing he's finally dead? If you've been planning this for years, you must be feeling happier than Josuke and the others." You thought aloud.
"Not exactly. As perverse as Kira was, I don't feel happy about his passing more than I'm glad for this to be over. Morioh will finally find peace again, and their victims will finally pass on to the afterlife, just like Arnold and I are planning to."
"Woof!"
"So those are your plans for now...? Are you sure you don't want to hang around Morioh now that you're not stuck as a ghost? Maybe you can finally leave the alley and hang out with Josuke and the others..." You offer, even if it's not much.
"Hitomi-san. I've been wanting to leave Morioh for 15 years. I love this city, but there's not anything else I can do here. My mission is over. I shouldn't overstay my welcome any more than I already have." Reimi looked vaguely apologetic for wanting to leave town, even if she was justified in doing so.
"I see. So we won't be seeing each other again..." Rohan turned his face away.
"Aw, Rohan-kun! Please don't cry for me! I'll miss you too!" Reimi teased her childhood friend.

"Shut up Reimi! What makes you think I'll miss you? I only did because my manga was on hiatus! I would never help you out if I didn't have to! You're just a ghost! Hurry up and leave!" Rohan angrily talked back at Reimi, but Kakyoin managed to see right through him.
"Rohan, Come on now! You've come a long way from being that dickhead who abducted people to add them on your stories. Plus we can see you're tearing up." Kakyoin tapped his shoulder, telling the mangaka it was ok for him to be honest for once.
"Of course I don't want you to go, you idiot! I'll miss you! We've had so little time to interact! What was the point of me visiting you every day for you to just leave like that?"
"Rohan-kun..." Reimi started to tear up, not realizing how much she was going to be missed.
"Hey, we'll miss you too Reimi!" Okuyasu said, signaling to everyone who was still there.
"It was nice knowing you, Reimi! I wouldn't have so many friends if it weren't for you! Tee Hee!" Shigechi gave her a peace sign.
"You've made this summer truly unforgettable for all of us." Avdol admitted.

"Everyone..." The fraternal love around the ghost girl made her shed many tears of joy, but before she could leave with her dog and Koichi's Stand, you gave her one last gift.
"Wait, since now you've confirmed that dogs go to Heaven, can you send this to a certain dog I know?" You hand some coffee flavored gum to Reimi. "Joseph will know who he is, no need to explain. Thanks for saving Morioh, Reimi."
"...Ok!" Morioh's guardian angel took the gift and departed, flying to the clouds above with Echoes and Arnold. "Thank you everyone! Goodbye..."

June 18th, 1999.

"Waaaah! I don't want to gooooo! Help me Josuke!" Jolyne bawled as Stone Free clanged onto the babysitter.
"I'm the one who should be asking for help?! I have nothing to do with this!" Josuke tried to hold Shizuka on his arms while Jolyne was busy ripping his clothes off.
"Behave, Joylne! You didn't even like Morioh when you got here!" Jotaro tried to yank her out of Josuke with Star Platinum.
"Do you really have to leave, Kakyoin? I'll miss you a lot..." Aya said to her boyfriend.
"Fukushima is only 7 hours from Morioh, we can see each other on the weekends!" Kakyoin gave her a hug, whispering over to Rohan while her back was turned. "Our game deal is still on, right?"
"Meh. I'll think about it." Rohan still ignored his pleas for a licensed game on Kakyoin's name.
"I found Mr. Joestar's Walkman when I was packing up. This sure takes me back." Avdol hops on the boat, leaning over to the pier to watch the crowd say goodbye like you were.
"Joseph's always had a thing for old relics such as these. We don't need these now that MP3 players are a thing." You said.
"They're still pretty stylish." Avdol placed a tape in to listen to one of Joseph's favorite tunes,

"As much as I loved Morioh and hope to see Josuke and the others again in the future, I'd be lying if this wasn't a bittersweet feeling..."
You can't really complain on the long run. Morioh gave your sight back, 2 arrows, Karma Chameleon's 2 extra arms, a much needed break from work and several new friends. And that was only from your experience, the quiet town's left quite a mark on you, just as much as you have left on Morioh by fighting crime on it.
However, you were deeply hurt by involving yourself with Kira since it meant losing Joseph, Reimi and Koichi. The town was also damaged by that monster, and it's admitidely scary how such a peaceful town can create a vile man that can masterfully hide himself in the shadows. The families of the daughters and sisters killed by Yoshikage Kira will forever be waiting for their return.
The pain of their wounds will only get deeper now that he's gone. How can they even make the pain go away? Is evil really gone for good in Morioh, or is it bound to reappear? Speaking from experience, evil will come back, but much weaker. It's a good outcome, but you wish things could have been different.
And that just about sums up your thoughts on Morioh.

"I can see what you mean by that. It took us a lot of brainstorming to get to this result, and even then a lot of lives had to be lost on the way... Huh. This is sounding oddly familiar." Avdol chuckled, noticing the parallels between this trip and the one to Egypt.
"Tell me about it... Still, I'll miss this place." You tell the fortune teller as the others embarked back on the ship.
"Me too. Despite everything visiting Morioh left me very hopeful about our future."
"How come?"
"I might not have contributed much aside from hanging out with you again, but I can say one thing about Morioh: The young people in this town have hearts of gold. The same golden hearts of justice we've had when we headed to Egypt. Especially with Josuke himself. So long as Morioh has people like that to protect the innocent, they'll be fine."
"...You're right. The turn of the millennium's proving itself to be very promising on these conditions. We're having to worry less and less about war and chaos as we move past from our generations, and it's starting to show with having less and less enemy Stand encounters. I don't think we'll live long enough for world peace, but I'll do as much as I can to do my part!" You promise.
"You and me both."

"Departing!" The Speedwagon Foundation boat starts moving, taking away the four Stardust Crusaders from the bizarre town.
"So looong!" Josuke shouted.
"Take care!" Okuyasu screamed along with him.
"Please visit!" Even Yukako was moved by everyone's collective kindness.
Everything seemed like a great and emotion send off... Until another boat showed up at the shore.
"Finally! I've arrived in Morioh! I hope I'm not too late to find Kira!" Polnareff adjusted his prosthetic leg as he set foot on the seaside.
"Who the hell are you?" Shigechi pointed at the Frenchman
"Not now, kiddo! I need to find a guy with a stupid haircut! I hear he has ties with Joseph Joestar!" Polnareff set himself up for disaster.
"Well you're one to talk..." Tonio stared at Polnareff's hair, which looked similar to his chef hat.
"Josuke, do your thing already." Rohan pointed at the two, already noticing Josuke growing fuming.
"DORARARARARARARAAAAAAA!"
>The End.

Thanks for showing up and keeping up with the story so far anons. Unfortunately that end card isn't just for show. As much as I wanted to run the game until Part 6, it's just not feasible with my current schedule and how my personal life is going. (Work, personal projects I'm trying to get off this year, getting engaged, etc.) That and I have been getting increasingly burnt out with QMing so I think it's best to leave on a high note and end on Diamond Is Unbreakable. It's been a great 1 year and 4 months doing this quest, but I think it's time to stop because I sure as hell won't be topping this anytime soon.

I can do a quick Q&A and maybe a where are they now segment for good measure but that's about it really, Thanks again for playing!

Bastard!! Thanks for the good show!! I've been here since Thread #2, and I've gotta say... I really appreciate this quest. It made me like Part 3 so much more.

Here's my question:
>What were your exact plans for Part 5 and 6?

Please pop in on your twitter from time to time!! It's good to hear you're still alive, from one every-thread anon to their QM.

50/50. I was going to leave lab grown human project up until where Hitomi could perfectly create a human from scratch with all it's functional organs, only they wouldn't grow sentient on their own because they lacked a soul, since it was established before that ghosts exist and you need a soul for a Stand, it wouldn't be that far fetched.

I also planned on Hitomi finding Santana's cell samples on Mexico and him somehow turning into an AI on Speedwagon Foundation's supercomputer but then she'd get the sample just fine, something about her turning into an advanced rock human because part 8 reference but otherwise I wouldn't let her go farther than that.
>>3231849
I'd have to skip out on a lot of stuff but maybe I can write something about it on the final story post. I'll write it tomorrow morning as a parting gift

The same happened to me. Jotaro was actually one of my least favorite characters before I started this quest, now he's just somewhere in the middle.
I have a normie Twitter because I actually liked using the site but I don't feel comfortable powerleveling over here. I'll try to be more active on that account though, maybe I could show you some of my original work I did as a writer.
>What were your exact plans for Part 5 and 6?
5 would have been a lot more bite sized than 4, since no Diavolo means killing the boss wouldn't be as tense I'd have Giorno going through Purple Haze Feedback's events mixed in with finding Trish with Buccelati's gang. Polnareff would have joined for a few threads.
6 would have been tricky since I haven't thought of a way to bring anyone from the group to Stone Ocean's Prison and arrest them there, but it'd go down similarly to how it did in canon, except the boomer crusaders would have been there along with their kids to solve the problem. I'd pair Polnareff's son with Jolyne but she has enough candidates.

>>3231910
I'm happy to say I've finished my quest here. It's harder than it looks given /qst/'s track record
>>3231957
I'll write the final story post before I got to bet to answer those 2 questions, just because I like you a lot.

What is this from?

Josuke Higashikata maintained his vow to protect Morioh at all costs, but the only two Stand users he found after the Stardust Crusaders left were a young student named Mikitaka Hazekura who self identified as an alien, and a hermit living inside a transmision tower named Toyohiro Kanedaichi, who later became a local attraction. After realizing Morioh was safe from supernatural enemies, Josuke decided to work as a police officer in Morioh's Police Station, following in his grandfather's footsteps. He became the chief officer after Ryohei retired in 2010.

Okuyasu Nijimura didn't have any set goals in life after graduating high school at age 19 in 2002. Thankfully that was around the same time Hitomi developed a cure for his father's disease. The first thing the patriarch did after being cured was to pay the bail for Keicho's release. Moved by his father's love after mistreating him for years, the Nijimura family started life anew. Okuyasu now works for Keicho's restaurant, cleaning the kitchen and doing the groceries while Keicho became a carpenter, his favorite hobby being to craft wooden toys to children.

Rohan Kishibe resumed serialization on Pink Dark Boy, his critically acclaimed series still being released to this day. He went broke for a few weeks after paranormal investigations on Mutsukabe Hills led him to buy the entire mountain just to check for Stands and Yokais, but his deal with Kakyoin saved him from becoming homeless

The Hirose family was never the same after losing Koichi. Since Josuke felt partially to blame on losing his best buddy, he was always there to help his family members. That compassion eventually blossed into love as Koichi's sister Ayana was moved by his overwhelming support.

Toshikazu Hazamada found newfound confidence in himself after helping the gang kill Kira, so he made amends with local scammer Tamami Kobayashi to become a stand-up comedy duo. Their monthly income was never higher than the average salaryman's but it's a living.

Yukako Yamagishi became an eccentric Game Show host after appearing on a live broadcast assaulting a reporter for stepping on her new shoe. Rumor has it that she dated Josuke for a few months before he started dating Ayana, but they split up after a fight caused by her offering Josuke a hair massage.

Aya Tsuji continued to work on her beauty salon. Her most remarkable work was saving a loveless marriage from her first male customer: Kosaku Kawajiri. His wife Shinobu only started dating with him because of her friends and grew to actively despise her husband, only staying with them because of his son Hayato and the now family cat Tama. She made sure to always tell the story to her daugher Nico. She had Kakyoin's child in 2004, but since they were both too ambicious on their careers to settle down, they divorced on the following year.
>>
>>3232532
Shigekiyo Yangu's parents used the money he won from the lottery to good use, giving him a healthy diet, braces and speech therapy. He now works as a auto mechanic, being best friends with local gang member Yuuya Fungami.

Akira Otoishi was released from jail for good behavior in May, 2003. His exceptional guitar skills made him start a J-Rock band named Sparkers. While relatively sucessful, the band has yet to be heard outside of Japan.

After much begging from Josuke, he convinced Jotaro for Shizuka Higashikata to stay in Morioh with him as his little sister. Since he was already technically her sister and spent time with her the most before Joseph passed away, he reluctantly obliged. Tomoko wasn't happy to see him coming back home with a child in his arms, but after a good explanation, Tomoko started to treat Shizuka as her own flesh and blood, and Josuke put his babysitting practice with Jolyne to good use. As of 2012, Shizuka has entered her first year of high school.

Suzi Q Joestar died of natural causes in February 4th, 2000. She never intended on forgiving Joseph after she cheated on her, but discovering that their heated discussion would be her last encounter with her husband made her awfully depressed as she spent her last twillight years all by herself. Her fortune was spent equally between Holly, Josuke and the Speedwagon Foundation.

Muhammad Avdol close his fortune telling shop in December 2004, using his life savings to start an orphanage, aiming to save homeless kids in India from a life of crime.

Jean Pierre Polnareff's trip to Morioh wasn't in vain, as he got his leg back with the help of Crazy Diamond and Pearl Jam. He recovered the 5th and final arrow from Passione in 2001, while also discovering the identity of DIO's long lost son Giorno Giovanna.

Shenmue received cult status from critics, earning him the chance to become the main developer on his new project, a Pink Dark Boy game. Released in 2003 the game received critical acclaim throughout the globe, selling 4 million copies during it's first month and receiving titles such as Game of the year and Best licensed game of all time. The profit was so big Kakyoin managed to fund his own studio: Hierophant Productions, now famous for publishing the Persona series.

The Kujo family seemed to breed nothing but talent. Jotaro's thesis on the new starfish species he found on Morioh along with Hitomi's project on lab grown organs made it sure they could retire in their forties hilwe still having over 900 million dollars on their combined net worth, giving Jolyne the chance to plant herself on the industry as music Idol. Their combined efforts were essential in taking down the last of Dio's influence on this planet, Enrico Pucci.

And Toth prediction never happend.
"Hitomi Furuya was a very pretty young lady. 'nothing can harm me if i take good care of my friends!' she always told herself.
And sure enough, all of her enemies came tumbling down with ease as she conquered each and every one of her victories.
One day however, the pretty lady looked around after receiving her biggest achievement in life to commemorate with her friends, only to realize none of her friends were actually there anymore.
'Waaah! Waaah!' she cried to herself 'Where did they go? Werent they here just a minute ago? I want to show them my prize!'
She looked as hard as she could to find her friends only to never see them again. she felt bummed about it for many years, but after that, the pretty lady unfortunately turned into a sad, bitter shell of her former self."

Time constraints are a bitch, but that one fight with Buggles that made Jotaro and Hitomi travel around fictional universes made me want to start a Berserk Quest, but I don't think it'll live up to the hype. I think a Mass Effect Quest might be more up my alley, but no promises.
I still play a few quests every now and then, I just drop my name for them.
