Reaching into the underbrush, you quickly procure various small lizards, and garden snake, something different from the norm hoping that your mistress will find pleasure in something different from rats.

Noticing a figure approaching from behind, a young boy with brown mildly short hair.
"What are you doing out here, by yourself?" the voice said sounding both calm and familiar.

“While you may not be a student of the school, I assume you are often seen around together, depending on what your mistress picks, you may be allowed to participate in the class as well.”

Samuel hands you a pamphlet with the logo and the name of the Academy, stating “Uramel Academy Catalog.

Seeing Samuel leave the area, you take at last look at the large cedar tree and consider bringing Vivi out here if she wishes for time to herself.

Placing the catalog in your pocket, you start heading back towards Vivi’s dormitory, to drop off the unconscious animals in your pocket.

Arriving at Vivi’s dorm and depositing the animals in different boxes under the bed, you start feeding Sally some bird food from the hung cage. Staring outside the window it is about half-past 2. You assume it’s about half-way through PE, you quickly leave the room to make your way to wait outside of the women’s locker room, as not to forget your promise to Vivi, to wait outside. You also hope that Mistress Mercedes helped Vivi get dressed due to her new…assets.

You arrive swiftly to the locker rooms, with about 5 minutes to spare to allow you to view the catalog for a brief moment.

Opening the up the catalog, you see a passage that states:

Mercedes and Vivi are walking out together. Both dressed in their normal academy uniform. You notice Vivi seems to not be feeling well with a frown on her face, Mercedes arm is wrapped around Vivi’s shoulder attempting to comfort her.

“Is everything alright Mistress Mercedes?” you inquire.

“Yes, everything is alright. Vivi just had a tough time running in class today, with her larger breasts…”

“I helped her get dressed, make sure she gets some rest for dinner with me tonight or…you can just come alone,” Mercedes says with a sly grin pressing her finger slowly against your chest.

“Absolutely not! Wherever Saul goes, I go as well!” Vivi says quickly snapping back from her sad looking appearance. Vivi grabs on to your arm and holds it tightly glaring daggers back towards Mercedes.

On the way to Vivi’s room, you stop a maid that was walking by and asked her to bring lunch to your Mistresses room.

Vivi grabs one of the boxes, peering inside noticing the new ~~lizards~~ Playtoys that you have provided. The lizards are running around in the box, clearly unaware of the real danger that was about to befall them.

Vivi looks at you, and you nod giving her approval that she may do what she wishes to do with the lizards. Vivi takes a knife from behind, and stabs quickly into a small lizard’s back, causing the other lizards in the box, to take notice and scramble futilely for their lives.

As Vivi attempts to stab one of the larger lizards, her knife pins on to the tail pinning it to the surface of the box. After a quick moment, a popping sound is heard and the lizard’s tail has broken free from the knife. She looks to you for answers.

“Some lizards have a defense mechanism, where they will get rid of their own tails in an attempt to survive.” You say.

Vivi stares at you curiously, then her face turns into that of glee, “Thank you Saul for bringing me something different today! While I do enjoy rats, something different is appreciated.” After killing the rest of the lizards, she decides to leave the snake for another time.

The maid leaves the lunch at the door, it seems she was rather busy and took some time to get the meal.

Nobility Etiquette looks good, but I'd say hold out on picking (or letting Vivi randomly pick) a second option.

Do we even want two classes? If we want to make late night keys sessions with Mercedes a regular thing, wouldn't it be better to have a period for rest and relaxtion during the school day so we're not completely tried out during the night? Also Vivi might appreciate joining a class which one of her friends is also taking, so Saul might need to research what Caren/Charles/Mercedes is choosing.

Also, does Blacksmithing count as one of our extracurriculars? If it does we can only pick one other option anyway.

She can either take the two classes she's drawn to, or take the much needed nobility etiquette class alongside another class (which is either something she wants to learn / something her friends are in) so that she can unwind after being forced into learning manners.

There's only really 2 she'll want to take of her own accord, in order of interest they're:

This is the most likely option for Charles to pick, so she might be drawn to this because of him. Especially since Saul has planted the idea of marrying him into her head.

Being in proximity to Charles will help her calm down after her possible etiquette lessons.

Other pros to this is that she's not cooped up in a classroom all the time.

This course also gives her the ability to hunt down her OWN critters to kill without looking strange - just pass the hunting off as her practising her animal tracking skills. Vivi gets to experience the thrill of the hint firsthand, and combined with members of the blacksmithing club being able to come and go from school grounds as they please means that the entire area around the school can be her playground.

Vivi is naturally drawn to combat and bloodshed all forms so this is a given.

She's good at cutting things up, but I don't think she's ever been formally trained with weapons? So she might find being strictly instructed instead of being allowed to just let lose like she normally dose annoying.

Also if she picks knives, people won't freak our if they happen to spot her wielding her personal knife set.

If we're forcing etiquette classes on her, she can blow off steam after being forced to sit through those lessons by sparring.

If she does take this, maybe she can get Samuel to help her make her own weapon at some point?

Vivi's not gonna be interested in any magic classes (SAUL'S the one really interested in key's, she just tags along), and will be insulted at the thought of history of combat (which doesn't have any opportunity for actual combat).

I don't think the D'Roix estates are big enough for Vivi to benefit much from Owning Land 1. The estate probably employs minimal staff to keep Vivi's 'secret' from getting out, so Mistress of the House is a bit useless too.

History of nobility is no use to her AT ALL.

Dunno about signing her up for Nobility Etiquette. The way she reacted to it makes me think that her taking the class will result in 90% stress + aggro (+murder urges) and 10% her learning anything useful....but then her dad expects us to make her take shit like this and also if she wants to be Mrs Lorensol in the future she'll need to be able to meet and greet.

I say sign her up for Field Studies and BCT. Like >>3199428 says they can a)be good excuses for her weirder traits and b)mesh well with blacksmith club.

You go deeper into thought taking into consideration Vivi’s likes/dislikes, as well as her personality. “Nobility Etiquette” is a class that immediately comes to mind. While you understand that Vivi has a dislike for the course, you know that she must take the class, or your head might be next on the executioner’s board. You also don’t want to force your friend to take something that she would find a dislike to. A compromise seems to be the best way to get her to take the course, but what can you give your mistress that you already don’t, you are unsure, but you’ll think of something.

You take a moment to choose which group you will be joining, while Charles knowledge over the garden sounds interesting, it might be better to let Vivi speak with the others on her own, also it might be better to learn more about Rena.

You start walking towards the direction of Rena until you feel a big tug on your sleeve.

“Saul, walk with us!” Vivi says excitedly.

You are pulled over to Vivi's new friends and begin walking alongside them.

Stepping into the garden you are blown away by the many different colors, plant life, and animals that reside within. Every flower bed mixed into the garden is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, red, yellow, and blue flourishing together makes the entrance to the garden a sight to behold.

The multicolored cobblestone pathways that align the floor of the garden branching off into different directions. Directly in front of you is a fountain, within there is a statue covered by vegetation of a woman. The hair of the women is covered with various types of shrubs and other bright plants that seem to give off a magical blue glow. Underneath the fountain, there is a plaque.

You are speechless at the beauty of the garden.

“Wow” Caren & Vivi both same at the same time.

Vivi runs up to Charles and embracing him, immensely.

“This is amazing Charles!” she says.

“Yes, the statue of the woman is a to pay homage to the "Goddess of the Earth", or better known as "Mother Nature". The shrubs and other vegetation that are grown from her hair are used in alchemy, typically for cures to poison an increase in health, I’m sure they have other components that they could be used for, but I’m unaware of what those may be” Charles says not minding Vivi still attached to his body.

“The light blue glow shows that they are almost ready to be harvested, and with correct production in Alchemy, it may come out greater than normal” Caren quickly chimes in.

“Do you plan on taking alchemy as your extra course Mistress Caren?” you ask.

“Why yes, I will be taking alchemy, but only alchemy for my extra course, my goal is to take over the business in my family, and become as good or not better than my father” she replies.

“Is there anything you’d like to see Vivi?” Charles asks, now that she is detached from him grinning greatly.

“I’d like to see some of the animals that roam around the garden. Are there pretty birds, deer, or ra-reeeerrr animals?” Vivi asks quickly catching herself, about to ask for something more grotesque such as a rate. Vivi looks at you for approval.

You give quick thumbs up to her before looking over to Rena to see if she noticed anything was off over Vivi’s strange pronunciation of “rarer”. It seems that she wasn’t paying attention and was looking at the flowerbeds.

“The garden is home to many, species of birds, all with their own vibrant coloring parakeets. I don’t believe there are deer that live in the garden, but it does house several creatures in the more “magical aspect” would you like to see? Charles asks.

“I would love to!” said Vivi.

Walking along the blue cobblestoned pathway you arrive at a lake, surrounded by cattails, shrubs, and many rocks with moss. On top of the mossy rocks, you notice a strange ugly, hairless creature that resembles a large rat with soft, fleshy spines on its back. It makes a weird sound with its mouth before it jumps into the water.

“What is that?” you ask.

“That would be a Murtlap, they are aquatic creatures often found near lakes and oceans. Their spines on the back, have magical healing properties when used in alchemy, and is said to help relieve curses when just eaten. I don’t recommend eating it, looks absolutely dreadful and chewy…” Charles says.

Vivi looks at the rat-like creature, then back at you. *wink*

It seems she wants one of these Murtlaps for a later time…

“You seem to have a strong interest when it comes to botany and alchemy when it comes to botany and alchemy Master Charles, what extra classes will you be taking?” you ask.

“I will be taking field studies for sure, I absolutely love plants and local wildlife, that I wouldn’t mind being away from home for a bit to study them further. As for my second class, I’m considering Digging Holes or Alchemy class. Digging holes sounds like an interesting class, the term “digging” I am unfamiliar with, but the term holes remind me of something I overheard my father speaking about. I’m quite curious as to what it could be.” Charles says with great enthusiasm over the two subjects.

Charles looks over behind you as she pulls out a pocket watch and taps it. It seems that your time is almost up.

“There is one more place I wanted to show you, but I can’t seem to locate it, its apparently new part added to the garden this semester, a large cedar tree the size for a three-story building, it is said to grant wishes or good luck when looked at during the night” Charles says.

“This concludes our garden tour I hope you enjoyed it, I have to go do some independent study now, you are free to walk around the garden,” Charles says giving a formal bowing gesture to the group.

Caren walks away, back towards the fountain. Rena comes up to grab Charles to drag him to his study room, but not before giving a quick glance at both of you before walking away.

“Well that’s was an interesting time, the flowerbeds were really pretty. I’ll catch one of those murtlaps for you later, its almost time to meet up with Mercedes for dinner & lesson, I have something that I want to ask her about the keys…Would you like to head back to the dorm to chat? Or stick around here a little more, before going to dinner?” you ask.

Garden description was great - really liked the mother nature statue idea.

I think Rena will try to push her fragile master to take alchemy rather than the manual labor for nobles class. He was rather interested in it when Caren demonstrated her skills.

Guessing that Mercedes might only pick one class, magical tools and their properties, seeing as figuring out what makes magical items tick will help when making keys.

As you step on to the porch, the noises of the world cease to exist, the buzzing coming from the lake stop, the wind that was coming by is no more, it is as if you were in a different location entirely.

You knock on the door, but there is no answer.

You find yourself flooded with bright lights, there are several tables spread throughout the room. In a chair, you see Mercedes seated, with her back behind you. It seems that you are in the cafeteria's dining hall.

“Ok, plates check. Utensils checked. Napkins Checked. Food almost ready, so uh…checked! Waiter, please tell me when our guests have arrived so that I may greet them at the door” Mercedes says to the waiter passing by.

The waiter looks up at you and Vivi who are standing awkwardly behind Mercedes’s chair unsure of what is transpiring and then looks back to Mercedes.

“Your guests have arrived,” the waiter says, motioning behind her.

Mercedes turns her head around and notices Saul and Vivi standing behind her.

“How are you two behind me? There is nothing behind me! Only a flat wall!” Mercedes shouts with astonishment.

Looking behind you, it seems that the door that you entered through seems to have disappeared without a trace.

“Well, we were just in the garden when we got lost and came across a strange house,” you say.

Vivi walks up to Mercedes and gives her a large hug.

“We made it to dinner on time Saul! We’re not late!” Vivi says excitedly as you chuckle at her reaction to all of this.

“We can discuss more over dinner, come sit you two the food is nearly ready,” Mercedes says.

The time now is 7PM, dinner time with Mercedes. The three of you are sitting down together enjoying Pasta with Lamb Ragù fresh from the kitchen. It is with large hollow pasta tubes with chunks of lamb, tomato ragù and grated Pecorino. The dish has a mint from the same pasture where the lamb grazed.

“So, tell me more about this house Saul, you went on a garden tour with some others, and after you left you two got lost and came across a house?” Mercedes says.

“Yes, my mistress and I were in the garden when it got darker, when we found a strange house, it was illuminated by fireflies, and the only way to access it the garden was to cross the stepping stones across the lake, from a distance we should see shadows moving from inside, as if someone was living there. The house seemed to be on a different plane of existence, because when we stepped on to the porch the noises from the lake Seemed to completely stop. The cool wind that was blowing was abrupt.

There was no answer when I knocked on the door, despite the lights being lit.”

Vivi nods. The three of you finish your dinner not leaving room for dessert.

Thanking the waiters for the food the 3 of you head towards Mercedes room.

I'd say avoid doing too many rolls in quick succession (e.g when crossing the lake, we'd be facing ''another'' dice roll if we didn't roll a 70 - I think it should be one roll per choice for sake of pacing).

My personal thing but I dislike anything that hints to a Saul and Vivi romance, or any romance involving Saul.

I like the dynamic Saul and Vivi have now, Plus if the we, the MC, romance anyone that will lead to waifufagging bullshit in the future.

“I had some trouble during PE today, and was lapped by the other students, I wasn’t very used to it. I’m normally very athletic. Saul said I should keep them on for a few more days and see how I feel about it, I shouldn’t let one bad thing make me dislike them”. Vivi responds.

You nod in approval over Vivi’s statement.

Mercedes reaches for her book out of the bookshelf next to her bed. She turns to you.

“Yes, keys can enhance human capabilities, but while it is simple, it's also complex. I broke them down into different groups/subgroups.”

“Enhancing Human Capabilities involve the five senses: Touch, Sight, Smell, Hearing, & Taste”.
Then from those 5 sub-groups, they are different levels in which they are more potent and effective on the body. I broke it down into three levels Basic->Intermediate->Advanced.

So, for example, using a basic level key for enhanced sight may cause you to be able to see somewhat in the dark, while an advanced one will allow you to see in the dark clear as day.”

“They do have their drawbacks though, you may not be able to see as well as you would in a well-lit room, or if you had the enhancement of hearing, a sharp or loud sound, may hurt you,” Mercedes says instructing.

Vivi raises her hand.

“Does this fall under the category of altering someone’s appearance?” Vivi asks.

“It does not fall under the category of altering one’s appearance as I did with you, but there are certain things that the keys can do such as change your hair or eye color, based on what you want. We can go over it after this lesson. For now, pick a sense that you would want to focus on, and we can practice it.” Mercedes says.

The two of you make sure to put great attention to her words, as messing up the enhancement could cause loss of hearing, as well as to not it confused with the enhanced smelling rune, as they stroke order was similar. Based on the previous session with Mercedes, you seem to have a much easier time grasping the keys this time around and can skillfully write the basic level of “enhanced hearing”. The Intermediate level you have a good understanding of as well, but you may want to practice it more before using it. (96)

You roll up, your sleeve to the shoulder so that she may inscribe the key there instead.

As the Vivi finishes her final touches on the key, you feel a loss of hearing for a moment, until suddenly it is back.

“Did it work?” Vivi asks.

You don’t say anything as she is right next to you, but she sounds like she is using her “outside voice”.

Vivi puts her mouth close to your ear and opens her mouth to yell before Mercedes claps her mouth shut.

“Are you trying to break his eardrums?” Mercedes questions Vivi.

“I can hear you loud and clear, girls. Vivi why don’t you try standing outside and saying something and I’ll try to repeat it back to you. I want to test the range” you say.

Vivi walks out of the dormitory and walks down the hallway somewhat. Then walks back in.

“What did I say Saul?” she asks.

“You said, I like knives and milk” you respond.

Vivi smiles happily at your response and walks out of the dormitory again closing the door behind her. After a few seconds, you can hear Vivi running down the hallway, asking you what she said again.

“I couldn’t pick up on what you said, but it seems that the basic enhanced hearing allows me to hear voices coming from another room, as you look towards the wall to your right. Though the wall is somewhat thick, if I concentrate hard enough, I may be able to pick on any conversations through the wall perhaps a thinner wall I could hear the voices more clearly,” you say.

“How often do you use these enhancements Mercedes?” you question.

“I don’t use them that often, I never had a real need for them, only when I was practicing mostly. Anyways do you want to practice more on this one, try out another, or want me to show you some things about changing one’s appearance?” she says.

Useful for disguise purposes. If Saul can manage to turn his eyes red and make himself a bit shorter using keys, then he can easily masquerade as Vivi herself should the need arise.

Also dunno if you can futher alter Vivi's current apperance using keys (considering she already has an active body modification key on), but being able to shrink her boobs to more managable levels for activites like PE means she can have all the advantages of her keys form without any of the drawbacks.

“Can you tell me more about changing one’s appearance, how does it work exactly you made Vivi look like an older version of herself?” you ask.

“One important rule is that when you already have a transformation active you are unable to apply another one until it disappears.”

“Well, transformation with keys is both simple, but also complex just like with enhancing human capabilities, to successfully disguise as someone else you will need a string of more simple keys, to change things such as your hair, skin tone, eyes. It takes about one hour to do it correctly depending on what you would want to do.”

“An easier way to change your appearance, you can grab something that person owns, and place it in your ink”. Mercedes says.

“What do you mean “grab something that person owns,” says Vivi.

“I mean that you have to grab something that is a part of their body and put it into the ink that you are using the spell on, such as hair, toenails, or even blood. Depending, on what you use and how much you use the more potent the key will be, but the drawback is that the key won’t be something you can just rub off, you’ll have to wait it out, and the mark will disappear. It’s a much quicker process and the key that is used isn’t hard to draw.” Also, the results, are almost picture perfect.

“Lastly, I call the last set of keys, special keys, as they require, a longer length of time, require a magic circle to be drawn on the body, and thick brush to use the ink, for specific actions, such as what I did with Vivi to make her look like an older version of herself. With enough practice and time, of understanding other keys you will be able to do it as well. For now, we can just focus on the other two if you’d like?

You think about what you want to do and look at Vivi who is also pondering what she would want to do, then looks at you with a large smile creeping up on her face, as she tilts her head to the side.

“Sally D’Roix?” she says.

You look at her before putting your hands in your face in disbelief.

“Who is Sally D’Roix? Is she your sister?” Mercedes says questioning your reaction and Vivi’s happiness.

For the next 15 minutes, Vivi recounts her tale of when the two of you were younger, and how you were made to play dress-up for Vivi and the countless Tea parties with Napoleon the Teddy Bear. Mercedes can’t hold back her laughter.

“Saul, bring back Sally!” Vivi says with excitement.

“Please keep your voice down Vivi,” you say, rubbing your ear.

“I am interested to see Solomon in a dress…” Mercedes looks at you tauntingly.

Just to make it clear, the compromise is that we're just just learning the theory behind the putting someone in ink key (just gonna call it the polyjuice key) and how to draw it, and not actually activating it on Saul tonight.

If we want Sally to look like Vivi straight up (or be able to pass Saul off as Vivi), using the polyjuice key is the best bet. But we '''definitely''' need to figure out the relationship between amount of person used and time this key takes to fade away. Like how much blood / hair will you need to make the key last an hour? Then if we want to key to last longer we can just multiply that amount.

Also if Saul knows the stroke order for the polyjuice key, then he can potentially impersonate other people than Vivi in the future.

Vivi looks at you then pouts puffing up her cheeks, “Fine on your next day off, I’ll have you become Sally if I feel like it. We can have a tea party with Mercedes,” she says.

You cringe inwardly flashbacking to your tea parties with Napoleon, maybe you can get away somewhere on your day off? They’re on Saturday & Sunday normally, you’ll have to perhaps ponder a strategy for this later, for now, Mercedes is taking out several notebooks to start teaching you both the key that is used, as well as the theoretical process, of to ‘place someone in ink or as she likes to call it the “PolyInk Key”.

After Mercedes goes over the strokes of the key, you practice it on yourself several times, you quickly memorize the strokes of the key, and how to write it efficiently, and correctly. Vivi just seems to be looking outside the window watching the time go by.

“Good! You are getting the strokes down for the PolyInk quite fast. Now let me explain to you how to ‘place one inside of ink’. As I said before you need something that came from their body, typically the larger or more you have of it the more potent the ink will become. Mercedes clips some of her hair.

“Grab something that the belongs to the person, place the item in the vial of ink (15ML vial), warm up using a magic-induced flame, then write the key onto a part of your body and you’re done. Now you try Sweetie”.

You grab the 15ML vial of ink, and place the lock of Mercedes' hair within, and heat it up using a magic-induced flame, the vial of ink turns red before turning back to seemingly normal ink.

“All that is left now is to do is write the key,” Mercedes says, before snatching the vial up from the table and pouring the ink down a nearby sink. She smiles back at you.

Mercedes begins to speak about the different type of things you can place in the vial and how it may affect the user.

“Something like toenails will need to be broken down into smaller pieces but won’t last very long because they can grow toenails only so much. Maybe about only 10 minutes for a full set of broken-down toenails.”

Mercedes whips her hair around and runs her fingers through it.

“Hair has interesting properties, for some reason, the PolyInk reacts differently to different types of hair, as well as the person. When using hair, the PolyInk considers the size, height, and weight of the person. Turning into a shorter person will cause the potion to last a much longer amount of time maybe twice as long, than an average height person. For Vivi, I’d say about 4 inches of a small clump of hair that fills the palm of your hand, will suffice for about 3-4 hours.

Vivi turns around, and grabs her hair, trying to measure 4 inches using her fingers.

“I hope you have a hair growing key, Mercedes, because to make Sally, that’s quite a bit.

“I might,” Mercedes winks at Vivi, before handing her a piece of paper with a key on it.

Someone who is much more heavyweight will require something more from them if you wish to stay disguised as that form for a longer period. Which brings us to our next topic.

Using blood is the most effective way if you want to stay as someone else over a longer period of times. Blood has the same rules and properties as hair does, but because it’s a source coming from the inside the body, it greatly increases the duration of the ink. Squeezing some blood into a vial of ink, will suffice, but I’m unsure how long it will last, a small amount might last 6-12 hours, but its different from person to person, magic is weird that way,” Mercedes says as she shrugs her shoulders.

“She seems to not want anyone under her nobility, or social status to be near the prince. I think she is trying to court him, but that remains to be unknown. I’m only telling you this because she was the one who got the prince to give you the wine, because apparently, he saw you in the hallway earlier, and took somewhat of an interest in you. Probably wanted to get you drunk off your rocker to embarrass yourself and ruin your social status,” you say.

“Oh, Prince Henrison? I saw him when I was speaking with the headmaster when I first got accepted into the Academy, he walked in when the headmaster said something along the lines of, * I’m so glad to have you in our school Mercedes, * she says trying to imitate the headmaster with a deeper voice.

We chatted for a few moments, he seemed somewhat kind, but still had the high-up nobility aura around him. His older brother was with him as well at the time, but he was reading through the club catalog. I couldn’t get a sense of the older prince.” Mercedes says.

Vivi yawns, “Saul I’m tired”. Vivi walks to the door.

“Your hearing key should last you about 4-5 days, it doesn’t come off unless you purposely scrub it hard with soap, remember to practice the intermediate one when you have time, you seem to be very skilled when it comes to it,” Mercedes says.

Leaving your room, you decide to slowly walk around the hallways, to listen in on any conversations that may be happening around this time. Also, because now that your ears are more sensitive to sound you are curious to experience what you can pick up. Being able to pick up on more than you previously could fills you with some inner excitement.

You decide to walk up the many steps to the rooftop, you heard before you came to the academy that the view from the roof was really pretty.

Pretty would be an understatement. Stepping onto the balcony of the roof, you can view the large expanse of the academy and its front yard. Towards the east, you see the garden that you visited today as the plants seem to glow in the moonlight, towards your west you see several buildings where many of the classes take place, but towards the north past the gate leading to the outside of the academy. You see the entire town of Uramel, a central city in the country with many ports leading out to different destinations, many come & go, and trade within the city. You see lights that dance from afar you take a moment to breathe the cold fresh air, as you don’t have much time to enjoy moments such as these on your own.

Resting your arms on the bar of the balcony. You recall the moment, that Vivi came and ordered her men to take you home with her. You chuckle at the thought, that you would be even standing here right now looking at this view and enjoying the life you currently have.

It’s beautiful, isn’t it?

Comes a voice from behind.

You are startled that even with your enhanced hearing you did not hear the opening of the door, nor the man’s approach. The man walks up and stands alongside you. The tall man has short white hair, he is wearing a long green vest that goes down to his waist, along with black pants. In his hands, he carries a coffee mug, with the Uramel Academy logo adorned on to it. His appearance makes you assume that he is about 35-40 years old, but the for some reason his surprise appearance, makes you think that there is more to him than meets the eye.

“I didn’t realize that there would be anyone else up here at this current time,” my apologies.

“No apologies needed, may I ask who you are?” the strange man asks.

“My name is Solomon, I am the servant for Mistress Vivi D’Roix” during her attendance at this academy,” you say.

“So-lo-mon,” the man says slowly breathing every syllable as if it were a complicated name to speak of or one of familiarity.

“Mistress D’Roix is from the royal executioner family? Yes?” the strange man asks.

“Yes, she is from that family,” you don’t say anymore as not to give too much information of your master, as you are still unsure as to who this man is.

“Tell me, Solomon, are you enjoying your time at this academy?” he asks.

“My mistress’s, social interactions are interesting to partake in, as well, as the people that sh-” you are interrupted.

“I want to know if YOU are enjoying your time at the academy, not your mistress,” the strange man says.

You take a moment to ponder over the man’s question, but before you can get a word in, he begins to speak.

“Uramel Academy was founded not just for its prestigious opportunities, but also to be able to create individuality in those who attend, that may hold power for tomorrows future. To gain individuality is to learn oneself without being tied to what others think is the greatest accomplishment one can hope to achieve.”

The man hands you a small card “Come to my office by the end of tomorrow, I’ll allow you to attend a class of your choice from the catalog, I hold a lot of power in this school.”

The man begins to walk away.

“I didn’t get your name sir,” you say trying to get his attention, but he just keeps walking.

You look down at the card that you were given in green ink it states:

Uramel Academy HeadMaster
Headmaster Ozma Alabaster
South Wing PentHouse

You are flabbergasted that you just spoke with the headmaster of the academy, no wonder a man like that snuck up on you even with your more sensitive ears.

You smile and decide to go to sleep, thinking of the question and the words that the headmaster told you, wondering what tomorrow will bring.

Next thread I'll have a vote up for what Classes Vivi will be taking, If nobility is chosen as one of them I'll have players roll a 1d100 for if she considers what Saul said, and takes the class.

I'll have a pastebin at the top of the thread with Saul's "inventory" & "known" skills. Along with the descriptions.

Next thread will be up later today most likely. I'll post the link here before archiving.

Wow headmaster is a cool dude. Glad we finally made the trek up to the roof.

Magical philosopy might be the best class for Saul, I think? He's a bit too advanced to benefit much from Magical Studies, and since he has grounding in both a traditional magic style + keys, debating around magic styles might get him thinking more.

Saul only knows some of the basics of magic, just basic elementary things with fire & water. Basic things a servant would need around the house, in magical studies they cover the basics and much more.
