Last time, on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After Ubo was taken by Nefarious’s robot Janus, you, Meloka, and Raven stormed the late Nefarious’s lab on Planet Invicta. Storming the gates, you battled with two of the late doctor’s machines. Having defeated the two of them while Bardock and King Vegeta cleared the planet of life, you’d been impressed by one of the machine’s tenacity. After defeating it and guiding your children in defeating a clone of yourself, you’d asked Towa to pull whatever information she could off of it, and perhaps turn it into a sparring bot for your soon-to-be son. With that planet cleansed of life, you continued on to your main mission, and after a month of training you finally arrived on Raxus Prime. On the junk world you again met with King Cold, and were surprised to find out Arctus had survived! Having somehow survived Majin Cooler’s onslaught he’d traveled to this world in search of the ancient temple, and he discovered new power locked away within himself. As we rejoin Karn, Arctus has just challenged you to test his newfound power.

“Well, you heard him, General.” King Cold says, turning to you. “Would you like to do the honors?”
“Gladly.” you say, stepping forward and popping your knuckles. “You ready, Arctus?”
“Of course!” he replies, dropping into his own stance as you do the same. Your golden aura flares up around you as Arctus’s pale white aura does the same. “This should be good!”

Everyone else watches on as you and this powered-up Arctus stare each other down, auras flared in anticipation of the coming battle. As you stare down Arctus, you realize just how much in common this new form of his has in common with Cooler’s new transformation. You blink, and that’s when he attacks. Arctus is far faster than his powerlevel would lead you to expect, you barely having time to intercept his blow. you catch his right fist with your left hand, then swing with your right which he catches. As your hands slam into each other’s, shockwaves blast out, the scrap-littered ground beneath you both giving way as you each strain against the other. Each of you unable to push the other back, you both leap back outside the newly-made crater, dropping back into your stances.

“Not bad.” you say, your golden aura flared around you. “You’ve gotten a lot stronger than before.”
“Thanks.” he replies, then with a shouts his aura flares wildly, his power climbing even higher. “But I’m just getting started!”

“Bring it!” you shout, blasting off the ground towards Arctus. He brings his arms up, preparing to defend himself from a head-on attack, but you don’t give it to him. As you close the distance, you pull your arm back and projecting a heavy right punch. But as you swing you take the momentum to twist counterclockwise around Arctus, catching him off-guard. He tries to turn to block, but he’s not ready. Your right foot slams into the side of Arctus’s head, knocking him off-balance. You then backflip over his head, slamming your left elbow down onto him. Your heavy strike staggers him again, twisting around to his front and slamming your right fist into his gut.

“Gah!” he gasps in surprise, then tries to punch at you with his right at your head. You twist clockwise to his right, slamming your tail into his ribs then crashing a heavy right backfist into the back of Arctus’s head. He tries to return the favor with the same attack, you flipping over his arm and with a twist you slam your knee right into his nose. You then backflip away as Arctus staggers back, a hand to his nose. “Dodge this!”

With his shout Arctus fires a Death Beam at you, you leaping high into the sky. He keeps up a barrage of beams, you dodging his attacks. He then changes his attack, firing a barrage of blasts up at you. You swat aside dozens of ki blasts, each one exploding as you knock it away. As the dust clears, you see he’s surrounded you with dozens upon dozens of ki balls.

“I’ve got you now! Demasiados Tiros!!” he shouts, each one of the floating spheres turning into a Death Beam firing right at you.
“Barrier!!” you shout, throwing your arms wide as your shield materializes around you. His beams all slam into your shield at once, your Barrier holding his deadly attacks at bay.
“HAAAAAAAA!!” he shouts suddenly, flying through your shield right at you. With only a split-second to act you twist, his punch soaring past your chest. You reach out, grabbing his arm and with a shout you toss him over your shoulder and away. He flips several times through the air, reorienting himself on you. “Dammit, I thought I had you with that one.”
“That’s an impressive technique.” you say, returning to your stance as you both float across from each other. “But you’ll have to do better than that to beat me!”

You’ve done some noticable damage, but Arctus clearly isn’t giving up anytime soon.

“Enough with the warmup, let’s take things up a notch!” you shout, clenching your fists and Ascending. You transform in a burst of sparks, your power instantly doubling as you dig deeper into that well of power. “No more holding back on me, show me what this new form of yours can really do!”
“Alright, you asked for it!” he shouts, clenching his fists. His white aura explodes up around him, you shielding yourself from the sudden shockwave. “RRRRAAAAAAAA!!”

Arctus charges at you, you rushing and meeting his charge head-on. You dash to him, you both slamming your right fists into each other’s. The shock knocks you both back slightly, you each following up with a left. Your fists again connect, the two of you trading blows in a lightning-fast exchange. You’re impressed by his power, but what of his technique? As he presses the attack you switch more to defense, using the Rope-A-Dope technique you’d picked up from Camali. Instead of trying to overpower him, you expend the minimum amount of energy to avoid the brunt of his assault. Despite the ferocity of his attack, he’s unable to land a single hit on you, you narrowly avoiding each of his punches and kicks.

“Dammit! Hold still!” he shouts, leaping back and firing a Scatter Beam right at your chest. Instead of staying back on defense you decide to move in. Leaving a sliver of your energy behind to make an Afterimage, you drop to the ground and dash behind Arctus. As focused as he is on your Afterimage and his attacks, he’s caught completely off-guard when his attacks pass through “you”, the image fading. “Wh-What?!”
“Got you!” you shout from behind him, slamming a Ki Punch into his jaw as he turns towards you. Your attack explodes against his head, the blast sending him crashing down to the piled-up junk littering the planet below. He slams into the ground, kicking up a shower of trash from the force of the attack. You drift down to the edge of the crater, crossing your arms as you remained focused on his ki, wary for a surprise attack. “Is that all you’ve got Arctus?”
“RRRAAAAAA!!” he roars, Explosive Wave obliterating the mountain of trash still on top of him. He wipes a bit of blood running from his mouth on the back of his hand, dropping back into his stance. “I’m not done yet!!”

He’s still standing, but looking worse for wear: what will you do now?

“Let’s try something else.” you say, conjuring and clutching your Super Ki Blade. “Let’s see how well you can use that new weapon of yours.”
“Are you sure?” he asks you, taking the weapon in his hands. “I could kill you with this you know.”
“What part of ‘no more holding back’ didn’t you get?” you shout, dashing headlong at him. He activates his blue blade, taking a more defensive stance as you close in. You swing for his head, Arctus intercepting your blade with his own. You swing over and over, slamming your blade into his a half-dozen times before he swings back at you. Your blades slam into each other’s, you each struggling to overpower the other. “Now that’s more like it!”

You push off from Arctus, spinning away and taking a defensive stance. He wastes no time, however, charging right after you and stabbing square at your chest. You twist clockwise around his attack, deflecting it with your blade then slamming your heel into his back. He tries to swipe at you with a bladed backhand, you backflipping over it and with a twist swing for his chest. He tries to lean back and dodge, but not quite fast enough as your blade shallowly cuts into his chest. Keeping the aggression up you deliver an overhead chop at his left shoulder, Arctus deflecting your strike to the side with his own sword as you take your momentum and flip over him, twisting and kicking the left side of his head with your right heel. As your strike staggers him you flip back upright, taking a more defensive stance as Arctus turns back to you.

“I’m not done yet!” he shouts, charging and unleashing a wild barrage of slashes and thrusts. You stay on the defensive, flipping, twisting, and spinning around his aggressive attacks. You focus on evading his attacks, using your blade to counter strike back at Arctus. He manages to mostly block or dodge your own attacks, you leaving several bleeding strikes on his chest and arms before the two of you again lock blades, pushing against each other. “Nrggg! Dammit! I’m not losing yet!”

As he glares at you, his eyes begin glowing red with stored ki. In a flash of insight you realize what’s coming, leaping back and away from Arctus as he fires Eye Beams at you. You flip aside as they close in, his attack passing harmlessly by.

“Not bad, Arctus.” you say, the glow disappearing from his eyes as he ends his attack. “But your swordsmanship needs some work. You’re leaving yourself wide open.”
“I’m. Not gonna. Give up. Yet.” he says, out of breath. He’s clearly reaching the limits of his stamina, but you’re impressed with his newfound drive.

I'm pretty sure the "time limit" is a misunderstanding because of both of the SSj3 we see in the series, Goku is dead and it literally speeds up his 24 hours and Gotenks is a fusion and has 30 minutes anyways and GT Goku's child body is literally too immature to handle it properly until his tail is restored, balancing it out enough to allow him to handle it for longer.
When Goku uses it against Beerus, he doesn't seem to have any sort of problem flashing into it or sustaining it, he even can flash into it for a quick moment and flash out of it like he did against Trunks.

I mean, I don't disagree that SSj4, SSG and the Legendary line are better then it. But alot of the "Drawbacks" people complain about are either overstated or bullshit.

He hesitates a moment, looking back and forth between your face and hand, then sighs out, aura fading. He reaches out, grabbing your hand and the two of you shake.

“I might hold you to that.” he says, you both letting go and turning to the sounds of someone clapping.
“Impressive showing, Karn. You’ve been keeping up with your training.” King Cold says, looking smug as ever. “And you, Arctus. This is far beyond anything I ever expected from you, I’m impressed.”
“Thanks, uncle.” he says, and with a flash reverts back to his form you recognize. “But it seems I’ve still got a long way to go.”
“That is true.” he says. “However, you’ve taken the first steps to reaching your true potential.”
“Thanks.” he says, the three of you returning to the ground. Arctus then turns to King Cold’s ship, waving over his shoulder “I’m exhausted, I think I’m gonna go get drunk. You got anything good on this ship?”

“Some things never change.” Cold mutters, shaking head then turning back to you. “Anywho, that was an impressive display Karn. Your progress is just as great as I once feared it would be.”
“Wait, feared?” Meloka asks him, confused. “Why?”
“Because Karn, and you now as well, Meloka, could have killed my son.” King Cold says, your jaw dropping. King Cold was afraid you would kill Freeza? “I am not too proud to admit it now either. I feared you would envy my son’s position and prestige, and try to take his empire by force. My son and I discussed several times that he should destroy you before you could rebel.”
“Wait, really?” you ask, surprised. You know if King Cold had decided to kill you, there wasn’t anything you could have done to stop him. “What changed your mind?”
“Freeza did.” Cold says with a chuckle. “My son places great faith in you, Karn. Of everyone in the universe, you’re the only one besides myself he trusts.”
“I-I’m honored.” you say. “I’ll do my best to live up to his and your expectations.”
“I trust you will.” he says, sighing out. “You’ve proven yourself dependable, and we need everyone capable on board to handle this situation. Now, I need to get back to my ship, and keep that drunkard Arctus from emptying my ship’s entire stock. But before that, do you any questions for me?”

“Babidi. He’s one persistent little bastard.” Cold says, his demeanor visibly darkening. “I’d thought I had killed him several centuries ago, in the far reaches of the north quadrant of the universe. It was near some backwater planet, I’d finally caught up to him and obliterated his ship. I had thought I’d got him too, but it seems that he’d managed to escape.”
“So he’s been a mage for that long?” Raven asks, having been drawn into the conversation. “That means he’s had centuries to study powerful magic, who knows what kind of dangerous and ancient magic he knows?”

Majin Buu isn’t a living creature in the traditional sense; it doesn’t need to eat, or sleep. It thrives entirely on mindless destruction.”

“But how do we beat it?” you ask him, focused on the goal. King Cold looks at you like you just asked him the impossible.
“You cannot beat Majin Buu.” King Cold says. “No one can. Even my father couldn’t defeat that abomination, and he’s several times stronger than you two, my sons, and even myself combined.”
“Your father was that powerful?” you ask, awestruck. “He must have been the strongest in the universe.”

With that, King Cold turns away and walks back into his ship, leaving you and your team there standing in the wreckage.

“Let’s go with them and check it out.” you say, lifting up into the air. “Who knows what we’ll find?”
“Have fun, I’m not going.” Meloka says. “Going through an old, abandoned building doesn’t sound like a good time. I’ll be here when you get back.”
“Alright I’ll be back soon.” you tell her, blasting off after Raven and Ubo. You meet up with the two of them as they arrive at the ancient structure. You all look at it curiously, seeing the ancient, rusted, and run-down scrap construction. You imagine that, at one point, this building looked rather impressive, it being several times larger than your ship. But as it sits, it is hard to see it as more than a pile of junk.

“I feel something here, something powerful...” Raven says absently, closing her eyes and holding out her right hand. You watch as she drifts closer to the structure, her hand suddenly stopping against something. As her hand touches an invisible barrier, the demonic script begins glowing from her hand up her arm and to the symbol on her forehead. She shouts in surprise, pulling her arm back. “What the hell?”
“What was that?” you ask her, floating over concerned. “Some sort of barrier?”
“Yeah, it was.” she says, shaking her head as the glowing symbols quickly fade. “It seems to be a shield in place to prevent demonic entry.”
“Ubo can get you through.” he says, hitting his fist on his chest. “Hop in.”
“Good thinking.” she says with a smile, you looking between them confused a moment. Raven disappears inside her dark raven form, and it leaps inside Ubo. He then opens his mouth, Raven’s voice coming from it. “Alright, let’s go.”
“Wait, what?” you say, startled. “Are you inside him?”
“Yes.” she says through Ubo’s mouth. “Let’s see if this’ll work!”

Ubo-Raven again moves carefully towards the barrier, and despite it becoming visible again they make it through with no problems. You follow them in, the two of you drifting down to the open front doorway.

“Alright, let’s see if this is far enough in.” Raven says, seperating from Ubo and the three of you stand by each other in the doorway. You all wait a moment, but nothing further seems to happen. “I think this is far enough in.”
“This place is big.” Ubo says, looking inside. You all walk in together, looking the rusty interior over. Despite the outside appearance, the interior is far neater, no scrap or piles of trash laying around.
“I think we should split up.” Raven says, you all seeing several branching paths just from the main entryway. “We’ll be able to see a lot more if we all go seperate ways in here.”
“That sounds like a plan.” you say, Raven drifting up towards what looks to be some sort of library. Ubo, meanwhile, goes straight down the main path, walking up a large set of stairs. You look around, finally deciding on a path and begin walking through the doorway.

Going through the door, the room quickly becomes too dark to see. With a small effort you transform, your golden Super Saiyan glow illuminating the hallway you find yourself in. You walk down the hallway, seeing evidence of an ancient battle. Burning slash marks line the walls and floor, some sort of fighting machines destroyed and littering the hallway. You walk down the hallway until you notice something. You are about to pass a closed door, similar to another dozen or so you’ve already passed, but something stops you. You turn fully to the door, grabbing it in both hands and prying the sliding door open. It opens with an awful metallic screech, you looking inside the room that somehow drew your attention. The doorway opens to a stairway, headed down further into the depths. You look down, your glow not illuminating more than fifty-ish feet down.

“Well, this is omnious.” you say, flying down the narrow stairway. It has several twists and turns, you flying down for several minutes until you come to a massive sealed door. It’s over a dozen feet tall, an odd emblem on the door’s seal. You approach the door, placing a hand on each side. “HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”

The doors groan in protest, you pushing them in. The doors don’t collapse, the massive metal slabs bending as you push them in. You walk into the sealed room, a cold wind blasting over you as you step through.

“Who are you to disturb my rest, mortal?” a voice calls out, you looking around confused. You can’t sense any powerlevels here, and the only illumination in the room comes from your aura, and a small glowing red pyramid resting on a pedestal. As you watch a dark reddish aura begins pouring out of the ancient relic, it manifesting as a large humanoid figure. It stands taller and broader across the shoulders than even you, striking a powerful image. You suddenly have a bad feeling about this. “Do you come seeking knowledge, or power?”

“I am Darth Bane, destroyer of the Brotherhood of Sith.” he says. “I stored part of my soul within this holocron, to preserve my knowledge for the Sith who would come after me. But this relic was captured by the Order, my knowledge lost to my heirs.”

“So you’re not one of the Order like King Cold was?” you ask. “You and his Order were enemies?”
“Were?” he asks, noticably perking up. “You mean the Knighthood has collapsed?”
“Yeah, there are only two left.” you reply. “King Cold, and the Guardian.”
“You’ve said the name Cold twice now. I will know who you mean.” he says, you suddenly feeling a massive pressure on your head. You drop to a knee, clutching your skull and clenching your teeth. After a few moments the pressure disappears, you looking up angrily to the spirit. “Now this is unexpected. I don’t know who built this shield around your mind, but it is very impressive. I sense demonic handiwork here, do you perhaps have a contract with a demon, boy?”
“My name, is Karn.” you say, rising back up to your feet. You’re pissed now, this asshole just attacked you. You’re done playing nice. “I am General Karn of the PTO, and The Dragon of New Salda. Attack me like that again, and you’ll pay for it!”
“Attack you?” the spirit asks, glaring and raising a hand towards you. “When I attack you, boy, you’ll feel it.”

With that he fires a burst of lightning at you, your back arching as your muscles begin spasming uncontrollably. You scream out in agony, his attack dropping you to the ground. You writhe in pain as his lightning courses throughout your body, but more than that, you’re getting angry!

“Hey, cut that out.” you say, shaking the pyramid and glaring at the spirit. “You can’t go around trying to pry into everyone’s minds.”
“And why not?” he asks challengingly, turning and raising an eyebrow at you. You return Bane’s glare levelly, not reacting to his challenge. After a moment he “hrmps”, his form fading and returning to the holocron. “If you request my assistance, I shall be inside.”

“He seems friendly.” Raven says sarcastically, opening a portal and walking though. “C’mon, let’s go back.”
“Sure.” you say, the two of you walking through her portal, arriving back at your own ship. You and Raven part ways, you returning to your room.
“How was it?” Meloka asks, waiting for you on the bed. You toss aside your armor and clothes, setting the pyramid aside on the bedside table and spending some quality time with your wife before the two of you drift off to sleep. Your sleep is restful, waking up feeling invigorated. Looking around you see Meloka still sleeping peacefully curled up in your arms, and the relic containing Bane is where you left it. Extending your senses, you can feel your crew, your friends, the Ginyu Force, Freeza, and King Cold are all gathered on the planet. However, everyone is spread out, not yet assembled.

You figure you have time to kill, and Meloka is still sleeping. So you reach out with your telekinesis, trying to grab the pyramid and pull it to you. You grasp the holocron, but when you try to pull it to you it won’t budge. It begins glowing as your power connects with it, yet you can’t move it.

“The hell?” you mutter, focusing more intensely on the small relic. Yet despite how hard you struggle to lift it, you can’t move it. It’s almost as if the object is resisting you.
“Is that all you’ve got, boy? Pathetic.” Bane’s voice appears in your mind. “I expected more from you.”
“So you were resisting me.” you reply, Bane allowing you to pull the pyramid to you. With Meloka laying on your right arm your movements are limited, but you clutch the relic in your left hand, Bane’s voice becoming far clearer in your mind. “I could easily pull it over here without your interference.”
“And what good is doing that?” he asks you, catching you off-guard with the sudden question. “The universe don’t give a damn if you live or die, the only thing that’ll keep you alive is your own power. Through power, I gain victory. And through victory, my chains are broken.”

His words make sense, having lived most of your life in a near-constant struggle to survive. So you remain quiet, listening to the ancient being.

“Peace is a lie, there is only passion.” he says, you realizing he’s speaking some sort of mantra. “Through passion I gain strength. Through strength I gain power. Through power I gain victory. Through victory my chains are broken. The Force shall free me.”
“What is that?” you ask him. “Is that some sort of creed or something?”
“It is the code of the Sith.” he replies. “It is the truth of the universe. The strong rule the weak. If you are strong, you make the rules. If you are weak, you live only at the mercy of the strong. You know this, Saiyan.”
“Wait, how do you know what I am?” you ask him. “You’d met Saiyans before, that long ago?”
“Of course not.” he says, as if such a thing was preposterous. “I simply read your memories while you were asleep. We’re more alike than you know, you and I. With the right guidance, you could even become one of the greatest Sith who’ve ever lived.”

Nope, fuck off bane. We're already strong, and we're already living as we please. If he wants to teach us how to get gud at telekinesis that's fine, but we aren't taking up the mantle of a fucking sith lord, all that would do is bog us down. We're already living by similar rules and that'll just have to be good enough for you.

Not to mention Bane would be hella triggered that we flat out refuse to take over as King of our Race, or become the power behind the throne, just because we're stronger then Vegeta, or that we would refuse to kill Freeza or eventually King Cold because we're genuinely loyal to them.

Alot of the Sith Creed meshes with Karn's personal thought processes, but Karns love and loyalty to his friends and family, is something Bane would never understand or stop bitching at us about.
