You still remember the day where a girl, dressed up in an outrageously fluffy outfit, ordered her men to take you inside her car. In retrospect, it was probably because you're cheaper than a slave; children from the slums don't have a price tag around their necks, and kidnapping is a crime if only the perpetrator is caught-- to which she never was. Nonetheless, that moment was a ticket out of a life of future suffering, no matter how evil she can be herself.

That's not to say you don't think about your life if you hadn't come across her path. But you always conclude that you're current situation is the best you can ever get. You're Solomon, Saul for short, a personal servant to an unhinged master.

To Whom?

> The daughter of an old noble line of executioners. Coming from such family, she managed to develop some dangerously sadistic tendencies. You might as well be the only thing that keeps her from murdering someone or something.

> A noble house's daughter that has a few screws loose. Can be simply called crazy at times, but is usually tame when you're around. Occasionally talks to her dolls.

> A noble house's daughter that's a bit too religious. Relying on a holy book that she carries with herself most of the time, her judgement is black and white with you serving as the grey area. Even her family is a tad scared.

At that moment, you had no idea what your master was truly like under her guise, her spoiled, childish innocence covering up her more dangerous habits and tendencies. At first, her father wanted you out, or better yet, killed, since you were taken on a whim. But he was no match for the girl's puppy-eyes, letting you become what was practically a living doll for her until you were taught the proper role of a servant.

The following years allowed you to watch her sadistic habits develop. She forbid you to not notify anyone of her torturous activities, ordering you to gather small local animals, such as mice or birds, to prolong her twisted enjoyment. You obeyed, advised, and stood at her side, no matter how much red accumulated on her dresses throughout the years. It only got harder when she started attending school, though, you managed.

Upon her thirteenth year did her practices became common knowledge within the family. Obviously, it was a shock for her parents to find out, but they soon got over it as she was the next, and only one, in line. The responsibility only doubled, nevertheless, you remained loyal.

The both of you now sixteen, her parents has planned for her to attend a prestigious academy. She was to live on campus for the length of three years, with you becoming the sole caretaker for her during that time. And today's the day that the car will arrive; everything that she needs has been packed in advance, and the only thing left is to wake her.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You regain your senses, reminding yourself to go and check your mistress before the car arrives. Now corrected, you adjust the tie around your neck and carry on, finding her bedroom door shortly. Knocking on it gently, you wait for a couple of minutes before realizing that she isn't awake, sighing as you make your way inside. The thick blankets that cover her do nothing to muffle her kitten-like snores.
Her room is fashioned in what you would expect from a noble, highly contrasted by a wall full of blades, some recently used. Your very mistress, your master, is names Vivi D'Roix.
"Rise and shine, Mistress. I hope your late night in the dungeon was educational, or at the very least enjoyable? Anyways, I got everything done ready on my end," you greeted with a kind of familiarity that is only made over a long friendship. Routine it was, waking up the young noblewoman who has still not learned a proper sleep schedule.
The amount of uncanny items, excluding the aforementioned blades that are hung upon the wall, opposite to Vivi's bed, bring back many old stories between the both of you. Many of which are little experiments here and there; you think of them as 'normal' to some degree, but in another person's perspective, they'll think that you escaped a prison. Luckily, she never got too wild with you, only getting dangerous when you show unwillingness. However, before you get too caught up in reminiscing, you focus on the present.
"Nnn... Just... A few--"
"--A few more minutes?" you interrupted. "I wish I could, but you'll miss the cab by then."
Reluctantly, your master appears from under the sheets..
On the other hand, you are right; we do know what happens to the boys that want to court her. she politely tells them she is not interested and then to fuck off because they are nobles and hurting them is a big no-no
>>
>>3132653
>because they are nobles and hurting them is a big no-no
That will only remain true for as long as her impulse control holds out. She might go off the deep end and land herself, and us by extension, it gigantic shitstorm.
>>
>>3132653
Only if they find the bodies
>>
>>3132657
Then we need to keep her invested in sports, heavy duty activities that makes her so tired that the only thing she wants is to go to sleep
>>
She isn't psychopath she is sadist. What's worse she's sadist in family of executioners. Whats means that most likely people she deat pain to deserved it. Bringing pain to others gives her pleasure, its like drug to her and when she will come to academy she will be deprived of it and that's the problem.
>>3132668
This one gets it. Keeping her occupied is one way to do it. Finding her fuckboy that's into it could also help. As our goal i assume is to went thru academy without big incident and surviving it ourselves.
>>
>>3132433
>> A girl whose body is what many men covets, highly developed for her age.
>>
>>3132668
So you want to increase her testosterone levels so that she's even hornier than a normal teenage girl while making sure she's tired in bed with nothing to do but masturbate? And you can't see any way this could backfire?
>>3132679
Executioners tend to pride themselves on painless deaths since that's what people pay their executioners for. Unless the public are nutcases, she's extremely ill suited for the job which means she wont be getting any "release" from it if she maintains the act.
>>
>>3132679
At least she should have a solid grasp on right and wrong. That is one problem less, i hope.
>>
>>3132686
And you want her doing nothing so that her energy levels are always high? Tiredness always overcomes hornyness. If you have done a full day of working or just even walking you'll understand.
>>
>Until her body adjusts and she's now a sadist executioner with a secret amazon body.
Amazon body? Please. She might come from a family of executoners, but she is still a noble. Being strong wont be her forte now nor ever.
>You're training her up to be a better serial killer, you dolt.
There is no need to insult unless your arguments are so poor that you require it. Also if she has the right upbringings and morals, she wont become that. Only the people that are left unattended become criminals.
>You are also forgetting your place. You are the servant. She orders YOU around. Not the opposite so you can't make her exercise if she doesn't want to.
We have known each other for more or less 2/3 of our lives. We might be her servant, but at this point we are alfred to her batman. We certainly have more leverage on her than a normal servant
>>
>>3132717
You gotta have some strength to be able to chop the head off clean in one strike with an axe unless the guillotine has been invented to take your job.
You (or whatever anon started this) literally proposed swamping her with exercise as if that wouldn't turn her into a /fit/izen/. She might not normally end up with giant muscles but anons are doing their best to sabotage that.
>>
I'm awake, will be starting soon.
>>
>>3132731
we dont need to make her lift weights. She can only have cardio sessions. They do jack shit to muscle and strenght, and makes you tired, which is what we want.
>You gotta have some strength to be able to chop the head off clean in one strike with an axe unless the guillotine has been invented to take your job.
A sharp blade is way better than sheer force, when cutting stuff, but i get your point.
>>
You people know that that executioners did more than just simply cut heads off right?
>>
>>3132742
I honestly didn't know they have more duties. What do they also do?
>>
>>3132744
They carried out different types of punishment. Branding, flogging, cutting of parts of body as punishment (fingers, ears, hands).
>>
>>3132746
Huh. So being a torturer was part of the job then? Cool. At least she'll have an outlet for her destructive tendencies.
>>
>>3132747
>Huh. So being a torturer was part of the job then?
Yeah, but this weren't torture just lighter punishments. Torturer and executioner from what i have read were very similar and very often one and the same. As part of executioner job was forcing criminal to confess his sins, no every time but it could be required.
>>
Those seem more like side jobs instead of the actual main duties since not enough people get beheaded to support anyone financially.
It's actually quite bizarre that she's nobility at all since just about everyone hates executioners and they woudln't even get a proper grave with everyone else or even a tombstone with a name on it.
>>
>>3132763
Well, they might come from an executioner that managed to get some land and become a noble. Nowadays they probably are getting money and influence through other means but are keeping the trade just for sheer respect and to not forget from where they come from, and are called to do it when the prisoner is important enough or the king wants to send a message.
Appearing from under the sheets is a seemingly normal girl with a cheery smile - even when blood is shed - that might even be considered beautiful, if she'd put as much care into her appearance as she did to her blades. Her body's bare, flimsily covered by a bed-sheet with one hand in a seductive display.
You sigh, "When will you prefer to wear something overnight? Even a night-gown will do fine, Mistress."
"It's much more comfortable, and besides, not a lot of people know that I sleep this way."
"Well, what if people did find out?"
"Then I'd kill 'em. It'll be easy enough if it was some peasant," Vivi responded instantaneously. "I've been itching for something better than horses or sheep, you know."
"I can only get you horses and sheep because it's legal... to some degree, and you have yet to inherit your ancestor's job. Anyways, get up, need to get you ready."
Pushing off the last blanket over herself, you keep a straight face as she gets in front of the mirror. Vivi's black hair is as black as any void, easily able to mesh into a darkened room with only her ruby-like eyes glinting off light. You've seen such picture before, and will not be the last.
"Oh right, today's the day that I'll be going to the academy, right?" she asked.
You nodded, "Yes, and I kept on reminding you until now."
"Hmm~ At least you're able to keep things in check~ Make me look cute today!"
Said words are natural for you, the amount of experience with her enabling you to discern their meaning. You fashion her hair into ringlets, the thickness of her hair making them fuller, somewhat like a sausage-- but you're competent enough to keep that comment to yourself. Soon enough, you dress her in an outfit of equal style; a fluffy red dress, decorated with embroidered flowers. Too bad that most of the time, this is the clothes that she gets blood all over.
Content with your work, she then grabs a parasol from out of the closet, "Is my breakfast done yet?"
"Of course," you said, bowing before following after her.
They weren't always hated sometimes they were respected.
Giving them nobility could be related to something else like valor in battle or something. And because they were family of executioners, monarch decided to keep with tradiction and givem them honorary tittle.
Of course our speculation are worth shit. As executioner in QM world could mean something exactly different.
>>
>>3132778
Only in England. The rest of Europe hated them. The middle east hated them and had only gypsies as executioners because they were the only ones considered unclean enough to do it, and executioners in japan were literally bottom tier in the caste system even if they manage to get filthy rich.
People just generally don't like executioners.
>>
>>3132774
You both exchanged some small talk as your master attended the dining room, an elaborate hall that has been constructed and maintained for many years. Vivi is pensive, as any girl would be when they're going away from home. However, without the presence of her personal facilities, you can only pray that she keeps in line.
On the previous night, her father informed you that many don't take a liking to a family of executioners-- something that was already presumed by you. Although functioning just like any noble house, this house whose title is stained in red can garner quite the distasteful attitudes from accompanying nobles, especially young ones. With a mix of threats and weirdly paternal commands, you have been instructed to watch over Vivi's actions, interactions, and if need be, to cover up any 'incidents' that she might cause. "Yes, the last big sounds corrupt, but understand that this is my daughter. And even though I somewhat see you as an adoptive son, I won't hesitate to put you head by the blade. Let us both hope."
Vivi's voice brings you back to the present. "Say, did make sure that the blades are packed neatly?"
"I mean, something other than torturing or killing."
Vivi puts a finger on her lip, "I don't understand."
You frown a bit at the effects of a sheltered life, nonetheless, you keep face. "You're not going to be able to enjoy your usual activities as there are rules at the academy. I doubt that they'll let you drive knives into animals."
"Preposterous! Do they not understand the ecstasy that comes from a horrified whine? The euphoric heat that wells up in lustful satisfaction?"
You raise an eyebrow at Vivi's 'lustful satisfaction'. "I will endeavor to research the possibilities, but would it not be refreshing to tour the facilities and see what takes your fancy?... Though, what about knitting?"
"Guess that's an idea, but I don't see myself doing such," lazily slumping backwards into her chair.
Walking behind her, you correct the posture of the young daughter, "Please sit straight."
"Oh boo~! I'm fine."
"Sure, Mistress, but you're of the D'Roix estate, and soon-to-be countess off in the future."
"Then when I'm finally a countess, I'll hole myself up in the dungeon!"
"Not on my watch," you comically refuted, to which Vivi stuck her tongue. "At this rate, you won't be engaged."
"To hell with being engaged," she groaned, "The only man I need is you! Who else will take care of me?"
Before long, another maid notified you that Vivi's car is ready, and is currently waiting outside the mansion. Furthermore, the luggage that you packed has already been moved inside. Readily informed, you escort the young noble outside, her parents meeting her aforetime for a final good-bye.
Vivi waved her hand as the car started, the driver in the front seat beginning to move. Pretty fast did the both of you travel outside the estate; if you remember correctly, the academy's not too far from the capital of Franchuer, Uramel.
For now, you have a lot of time before the both of you arrive there. Might as well, make something of it?
Vivi's already been lectured at length on everything from her schedule to how she's expected to behave, but you're fairly certain she didn't commit any of it to memory. Brief her with the abridged version en route.
And at least try to make it somewhat entertaining so she at least remembers some of it once you arrive.
Supporting this.
But also be sure to mention to Vivi to be careful with those knitting needles. *Certain* special brands of needle, which no doubt you can get a hold of, can be very SHARP after all. We don't want to do her future schoolchums any INJURY if they happened to experience the pointy end of the needle by some strange happenstance.
"Okay, while we have the time, I want to go over what you can and can't do since I'm certain that you didn't commit any of it to memory."
"C'mon, I always listen!"
"I doubt that," you remarked.
For a good portion of the ride, you reminded Vivi of her schedule, listing out every class from math to magic by order, in addition to behavior and how she's suppose to act. You're adamant about the latter, as she barely interacted with society throughout her life, disregarding her primary days of schooling-- most of which was private. To make it easier for her, you made sure that your explanations are simple to follow, resorting to analogies that concern what to kill, not to kill, and how correctly kill. It's idiotic, you know, but she'll never pay attention to a boring lecture.
By extension, if she does pick up knitting as a hobby, you mention to be careful with certain types of needles and brands of needles. Specific kinds can no doubt be sharp enough to cause a major injury, worse if they're in Vivi's hands. On the bright side, it would be lovely if she knitted some goods for her parents when she returns for the holidays.
As an extra measure, you make her recite what you said, speaking of another topic when you deemed her acceptable. "Man I never thought that you would grow like this. What happened to my doll! My cute doll that I dressed up! Where's my cute little Sally?!"
"Hmph, the only remains of Sally is that hair of yours, almost as long as mine," pouting, but quick to change attitude. "What did they even teach you when you became a real butler?"
"The usual: how to clean, cook, and to present myself. Though I'll be honest, I've been taught a few other things that don't fit in with the idea of a 'butler'. I told you before didn't I? The way you play only made for good practice too."
"Don't remember. Tell me again so I don't forget," grinning innocently.
"A little magic, just the basics such as making fire and water. Nothing too advance. I suppose that it's very helpful in cleaning up your messes in the dungeon, Mistress."
So far, you only mastered the elementary practices: conjuring up fire and water in a few forms, controlling the direction and temperature of the air to some degree, and the molding of dirt and clay.
"How come you never showed it off to me too much? I would've love some tricks!"
"I never did because I was too busy with a girl who doesn't know how to control her urges. Besides, I do not know any tricks myself."
"Saul, I'm not that hard to control, I'm probably the easiest girl to control out there," Vivi said with a smug expression.
"Not in favor with your choice of words there, nevertheless, there are a few characteristics that do make some things easy."
"Ho~ So nice!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The two of you continued to enjoy each other's company, losing yourselves within a seemingly endless conversation until the driver abruptly stopped. Your attention shifting from your master to the window, you can see what is essentially a small town in the distance, a wall made of neatly masoned bricks encircling the entire campus. Straight up ahead are more high-class cabs just like the one you're riding, many noble-children alike entering through an open gate with their luggage being delivered behind them.

You're the first to get out, opening Vivi's side for her to join you. Knowing what to do ahead of time, you instructed her to follow the trail of her future-peers, as they are to attend an opening ceremony. To your dismay, you have to deliver her luggage to the dorms, but if you finish fast enough then you would be able to catch up in about half-way through the presentation.

Vivi agreed, departing for you to accomplish your job. You were able to get yourself a cart to stack the luggage, soon strolling about in an attempt to find the dorms.

You wish you were supplied with a map as you were only told of your duties as Vivi's butler. Don't know if its her father's fault or your own for not asking for one, but you digress, focusing on finding someone to help you.

Politely, you ask around for directions to the dorms, most not helping as they are new here as well. If only you could ask a senior, or perhaps a teacher? But there isn't one in sight as far as you know, presumably all at the ceremony.

"Excuse me, Sir, do you need any help?" said a soft voice. Turning around, you find yourself eye to eye with a girl, modestly dressed in a basic skirt and vest with her blonde hair tied in a bun.

"Yes, do you know the way to the dorms?" you questioned.

The girl nodded, pointing a finger to the correct path, "See that huge, palace-like structure? Those are where the dorms are. Most people mistake them for the headmaster's quarters or another facility their first time around."

Giving your thanks, you make your way to the building. In hind-sight, she couldn't possibly be a teacher as she isn't old enough-- probably so, but that's a slim chance. The only guess you have is that she's a student here, however, she doesn't have that type of aura that most children of the upper-class haves. No matter, you have other things to be worried about.

After another round of asking campus staff for your master's room, you reach her designated lodging on floor four, room 412. It provided all the accommodation that Vivi needed such as the right furnishings, a personal bathroom, and a separate living quarters for you, albeit smaller than hers. Thoroughly, you unpack her luggage in the same manner as you would back at the estate, filling the closets and dressers with Vivi's clothes and garments.

The case of blades was a puzzling one, as you can't outright display it upon a wall.

You find that securing her case of blades is the better choice, placing them under Vivi's new bed along with a note on top of it. And with that, everything has been completed that concerns unpacking, returning the cart to the proper personnel.

Exiting the dorms, you then find your way to the auditorium, standing by the main entrance to wait for your master to be released. What you assume to be the headmaster of the academy gives a speech through a booming microphone, the sounds of his words piercing through the wall which has to be a few feet thick. Upon hearing the old man's final sentences, he announces the students free, the grand doors beside you opening with a flood of sixteen to eighteen year olds.

In which case it would be better for them to be near to our servant's quarters for us to use on any intruders. Leaving them on the wall where she is seems like a massive security risk as attackers can all arm themselves better the moment they get in the door? Rolls are best of three, just so you know.

Swimming through the excited crowd, you successfully fish out Vivi, grabbing her lightly by the hand and leading her to the side. "How was the opening ceremony?" you inquired when you finally find space for both of you.

"Absolutely boring, and the speakers didn't help as well. I might as well be deaf right now."

"So you didn't like it then?"

"Mhmm, now take me to my room, I expect that you taken care of the unpacking, yes?"

As per her orders, you continue to lead her back to room 412, the palace-like dorm now full of bustling company. Vivi was content upon seeing your work, jumping onto the bed heavily in unwomanly action. "Where's the case? Did you possibly forget them?" she then asked, her drills figuratively spinning with energy.

"They're under your bed, Mistress," you told her, the girl instantly dropping down to recover the item in question. "Did you at least listen to a little bit of what they had to say? I'm sure there must have been one or two things of importance," asking of the ceremony.

"It was the usual. They welcomed the first-years, told a little history-- something, something, ninety to a hundred years of servicing nobles, something, something, expectations. Nothing new for the both of us. Though... I think Franchuer's princes are here, one or two I think? Even the prime minister's son."

"Isn't that big in itself? To be in the presence of the royal crown?"

"Could care less, as the only things that I do care about is my things, you included," playing with dagger. "Think their names were Roland and Henrison. Don't know the third person's."

"Huh, you actually remembered something for once, even though their names are common knowledge in this country. Could use some work for the prime minister's son however."

"Nyehe~ I'm smart right? Right?" puffing her chest triumphantly. "Anyways, we have today off. Tomorrow is where classes start."

"Maybe we should look around campus and check out the facilities that they provide, some clubs too perhaps?"

Vivi pondered a bit before agreeing, "... Fine, better be fun though."

As your hand approached the door knob, you stopped the young girl from moving any closer. "Mistress, please put the dagger back into the case."

"What's so wrong about it?" gesturing with the tool in her hands, completely uncaring about any possible mistakes in handling it. "Maybe you could catch some rats or mice when we're out."

"I'm not, and I have already explained proper behavior here. This is a time of patience now, control your lustful urges."

Vivi does what you said, putting the dagger back inside the case and coming back to you with a discouraged spirit. You're able to regain her cheerful mood once you start escorting her outside the dorms, suggesting what the academy has to offer with an inserted interest.

Many buildings are symmetrically lined inside the brick walls of the academy, detailed in its placement and devoted in its purpose. Some houses are for history, filled with libraries and archaic novels that are stored for future inspection; others, such as ones used for the practice of magic - and arts that pertain to the subject - are composed of many labs for experimenting. There's also the cafeteria that's housed in a huge restaurant, taking up a few lots on its own, while the training grounds for physical activities are twice as large.

The clubs look to be on a fare of some kind too, the start of a new school year being a fine time for recruits.

Right now she's surrounded by her brand new peers, and in nobility first impressions are vital. Id imagine that the curiosity surrounding Vivi is greater than that of most othet nobles - considering her family's profession and how sheltered she's been until now.

Best for Saul to make her look as competent as possible right now (which includes not showing her up), Saul can compete with her later when her every move is not being analysed and judged as much.

"I did bring a hammer, but that's neither here nor there. On the other hand, maybe you can make something for 'Sally' to wear?" you joked, introducing Vivi to knitting as you pick up a pair of needles for yourself.

You started off simple so your master could learn a bit, making a small, square patch of yarn that should be easy enough for the sheltered girl. Vivi seems to have got it down finely enough, able to pick up a steady pace on her own after you. You don't try to show off too much yourself, allowing the bare minimum for her to learn.

You decide to stay at the knitting display for a little more, watching as Vivi occupies herself with the rhythmic shifting of her hands. "How do you like it?" you asked her.

"This? It's... Pretty alright," she only said.

"You look well absorbed for an alright activity. Will this curb your usual habits?"

"Hah, don't be ridiculous, this has yet to proves its worth!"

Another glance at the club members shows a secretive conversation between themselves, whispering to what you presume to be about you and Vivi. They don't have no ill-will, it's just the sudden picture in front of these young women that shifts the mood strangely-- perhaps, humorously?

"Excuse me," spoke one of the members, a small girl that's a few centimeters smaller than Vivi, "Would you be interested in joining?"

"Uh..." muttered Vivi, looking to you for help.

Let's not put her on the spot or make the decision for her, she's nobility and we're her servant not her friend even if we're closer to a brother to her; it would give a very bad first impression of the both of us than to do that.

A slight push by hinting that we like that activity ourselves and that she would have fun doing it is probably all that's needed to convince her.

Far from me the idea to push my own hobbies on you."

Somewhat encouraged, Vivi speaks up, "Uh, er, I'm... F-Fine."

The club member smiled, "That's okay. If you do change your mind , then we're always welcome to have you."

Your master returned the pleasantry, putting back the materials onto the display and walking off with you following after. The both of you spent some amount of time just strolling about, Vivi's hands getting a bit jittery as old tendencies replace her nervousness.

"Want to return to the dorms? You've been out of your comfort zone for quite a while."

"Yes, please. I am feeling a bit flushed too, must be all the walking."

"Never were one to enjoy the outside."

Returning to your master's lodging, she immediately makes way for the bed with an excited jump, landing onto the luxury sheets with a relieved sigh. Flipping herself around, she then starts to strip herself of her clothes until all she had on is her dress. Again, you scold her about what it means to be a noble, picking up the strewn about garments so they can be stored in the correct spaces for a future washing.

"Saaaul~ Message my back~!" she childishly cried, playing with another knife that was taken out of its case a few seconds ago.

"Really now, huh? What a spoiled daughter," you nonchalantly responded, walking behind Vivi's laid body that's sprawled across the bed.

"Ah~ That's the stuff," she said in a blissful tone as you put pressure upon her back and legs, soon working up to her arms.

"Meat! Something with meat! Steak perhaps?"

"Is that all?..."

"Any kind of drink is fine, other than that, I'm good~"

For a brief period, you leave Vivi alone to travel to the cafeteria, ordering a platter alongside a bottle of juice. Everything was the same when you came back, the young girl lazing about with her dress unbuttoned. An indecent image, but you let is slide this time.

Usually, Vivi's suppose to eat at the cafeteria where they provide proper dining. But students are also granted the privilege to eat in their own rooms as long as they take care of their messes, most of which are cleaned up by their servants.

You call your master to a table that's nestled in the corner of the room, presenting the dish in front of her while you pour the contents of the bottle into a glass. Delicately did you set the silverware, and other supplies such as napkins for her to enjoy her meal.

"Hope I didn't take too long," you said as she ate.

"You're fine," she replied. "You know, I miss my dungeon..."

Mhmm, you told me about that earlier, Mistress. Homesick?"

"No, not homesick. It's just that I lack any amusment. The heat is welling up inside me, and I'm in need for something to entertain it."

"You can't control it then?"

"Wrong. What I'm saying is that I'm boored~! No more fun nights between the two of us!"

"Mistress, would you mind if I borrowed the raincoat for a short while?"

"No, why? Is it raining?" Vivi presumed, leaning over to get a quick glance at the window whose light is still vigorous and bright; one cheek is puffed out, full of meat cooked rare.

"Thank you," you said, digging the specified clothing out of Vivi's closet and heading off outside. "I think I'll fix you with something that you enjoy, you've been pretty good for today."

Once pass the door, you asses the surroundings. The campus is huge in itself, decorated with naturally grown trees, bushes, and other items from the thicket. But outside the walls is a forest, possibly full of a variety of animals than the academy.

Since we haven't been rolling much, I forgot to mention that criticals take priority.

Many years of fetching live animals had made its effect, finding yourself catching a rather beautiful bird that passed over the walls. Its plume is a clean white with hardly any stains upon it, the bird's size reaching from hand to elbow which made it pretty hard to hide, fluttering and struggling with animalistic life.

Content with your prize, you restart the path to Vivi, however, that's stopped as two young men come by. One is slightly taller than the other, the two of them sharing many qualities such as the blondeness of their hair and a royal air.

"Did you see Charles? I haven't met him today," inquired the smaller boy, perhaps the younger brother.

"Yeah, I did. He seemed happy and healthy as always, more so than ever even."

"Oh yeah, now that the thought crossed my mind, I came across this one girl a few minutes after the ceremony."

"Another? Haven't you learned not to womanize? Mother would run you to both poles the moment she haves enough, by warship most likely. Maybe by tank? Though, they aren't fast..."

"No, no, no, I didn't interact with her too much, our eyes just came in contact with each other. And please don't remind how ferocious Mother can be. Moving on, she had a strange distinction, like my eyes can't help but be drawn to her. It's definitely not love, I know that for sure."

"Why is she of importance then?"

"It's because she didn't have that certain 'feel' to her, something akin to a baron or baronet, a commoner's if you will."

Pulling away from their conversation, you duck beneath a nearby bush. Your hands clamp down on the bird's beak, keeping it from squawking to loud.

"I'm back again," you announce, pulling off the hood of the raincoat to show yourself to Vivi.

"Good, good~! What did you bring!" she said upon your arrival, her tools already set before her. You show her the bird that you caught, Vivi gasping with delight, "Dazzling, absolutely so! I cannot wait for its blood to dirty its own feathers."

Vivi knitting a little scarf for it would be too cute.

...Also seems like Vivi has caught the eye of one of the princes. Saul needs to capitalise on this interest like a good Butler would, especially since Vivi wants to be a Royal Executioner in the future. We need to keep our ears open for any new info about the prince's for sure.

Guys seriously, I know we're trying to curb her impulses but bringing her something like this and asking her to not murder is the equivalent of putting a steak before a starving dog and saying don't eat it. Better to let her soothe her first day jitters and grab her something different to keep later. Preferably something carnivorous to help dispose of corpses.
>>
>>3135856
My plan too indeed.
Ideally something a little more "cool" than a dog/wolf. We know there is magic but still aren't quite sure of the level of fantasy of the setting, would a gryphon or something similar be a pet we could get our hands on if the mistress begs her daddy enough?
>>
>>3135861
A gryphon is the size of a horse. Thats a definite no.
>>
>>3135848
Obviously we're gonna keep her supplied with rats/mice/whatever. This is a really nice bird though, and it'll nice for her to have a long term goal to work towards (apart from the more fuzzy goal of 'become a good noble lady')

>>3135826
Ah yeah, I forgot about her. Interested to see where this subplot leads to, since its not going the traditional non noble girl romances prince route.

But befriending the Princes will still get us closer to having Vivi become Royal exceutioner, so that's something we should look into.
>>
>>3135869
Once it's all grown-up, sure, but I doubt a baby one would be much bigger than a dog so if we take a cub and start raising it, we will both have a good way to get rid of incriminating evidences while we're forced to be at the academy and another loyal killing machine once we're out of it.
Gotta plan long term.
>>
>>3135880
I just hope that at the very least it takes it 3 years(or however long vivi needs to graduate) for the thing to grow. Or get the gryphon egg instead. It might do well for her to care for a life instead of taking it.

Vivi whined, "B-But you can't just hold in front of me like that after getting me eager. What you're doing is torturous!"

"... How about this: if you stave off your urges for a little while, then I'll get you something better to play with. Promise?"

Your master pondered the suggestion for a brief second. "Promise..." she hesitantly says.

"That's good. I'll get it inside a cage soon for your viewing pleasure." Doing just that, you let it fly inside a sizable domain that's spacious enough to assure comfortable freedom to the animal-- perching itself upon a swing that you made in haste, along with other decorations such as bedding and a few playthings. Done, you hang the cage upon a rack inside Vivi's room, the beautiful bird seemingly placid after its recent experience.

Vivi's eyes gaze upon the bird blankly, as if her soul has been ripped from her chest. She then turns to you when you, "If I can't enjoy my usual, than what am I suppose to do now?"

"I could try some magic tricks, like what you asked me on our ride to the academy."

"Sure, but didn't you say that you only know the basics?"

"Yes, nevertheless, I can attempt to."

Vivi sits upon the bed to watch you, her expectations clearly low as you start to string along a few sentences together. Everything picked up quick as you neared the end of your chant, an orange light being produced between your grasped hands with a lively dance. It started off as a formless flame, its shape gradually becoming that of a cartoonish humanoid that's devoid of expression.

Once completed, you suspend your hand towards your master, the creature walking within the bounds of your palm. "Like it? It's a fire sprite."

"It's... Pretty cute," she mumbled.

"I suppose so. Believe it or not, this is quite the dangerous being. The spell makes these sort of creatures so they can blow up a designated target; a few times did the army use these little guys, but they concluded that using normal explosives are much more convenient-- say for the more volatile, and or, advance kinds since they need the proper preparation to go off."

"Then isn't it wrong to have that here?!" Vivi says, crawling backwards against the headboard of the bed.

"Don't worry, I didn't issue any sort of command to do so. Right now, in its current state, its just a living doll," returning some amount of courage to the rattled girl.

Extinguishing the sprite by forcefully clamping down your hand, you start to chant another spell. It's a very simple kind, needing a lot less effort; making a globule of water appear before you, soon disrupting itself into the air.

Vivi shielded herself, wholly expecting to be wet. The anticipation wasn't fulfilled however, as the orb spreads through the air with minimal damage to its surroundings.

What instead happened was a showy display, countless sparkles twinkling inside the room as if they were stars. The natural light didn't dull the performance, the flickering radiance glowing stronger to extend its livelihood. Vivi admired the trick, trying to touch one of the little shimmers, but never achieving contact successfully.

Your show ran through most of the afternoon, doing your best to entertain your master. Each and every 'magic trick' was improvised, relying on the effects of two or more spells together with varying performance.

Thoroughly amused, Vivi halted the show, wanting to take a bath while the evening starts. You obey, accompanying her with all the necessities needed. As your master undressed, you ready the tub, making sure that the water's warm before she gets in.

Vivi sighs heavily when entering the tub, propping her feet on the opposite end while her head rested on the other. Her black hair floats about inside the water, moving at the speed of a cephalopod's appendage; during the moment, where things developed so fast for you and her, everything felt slow-- a well needed pace.

"Sauuu~l," your master says, extending your name in a floaty tone, "Have you ever thought about any other girls?"

"No, not much since you're the only concern that I need to focus on," you answer, confused at her inquiry. "Why?"

"Cause you're mine~ And that... You're also a man..."

> "Don't worry, Mistress, I myself wouldn't want it any other way. It's quite fun to be around you, I suppose."
> "I wouldn't think too deep about that. Who else is going to keep you from murdering a child? Almost happened a few times already."

Let's be real, Vivi will go full yandere is Saul shacks up with anyone but her. Though I'd rather this quest be a 'mistress raising sim' than a 'mistress dating sim'
>>
>>3136559
>An unbecoming noble-girl calls for a responsible servant. Although your indecency is tempting, I've managed to train myself restraint. Also, who else is going to keep you from murdering a child? Almost happened a few times already

Add to the fact that i also know you for more than 10 years and seen you naked for more than 5; suffice to say that seeing you naked has lost its charm on me.
>>
>>3136577
I'm torn between going full Serpico on her and accepting the unavoidable as anons here can't see a yandere without wanting to dicc her.
>>
>>3136592
But we dont want to stick our dick inside her. That is unless she orders us to do it, but we would see that as a chore (regardless if we enjoy it) because we will have to clean the sheets, place new ones, clean the room.....
In short, if she wants us, she'll have to fucking try to woo us like she has never tries before.
>>
>>3136592
I just hope the QM doesn't introduce a whole harem of potential girls for Saul, because the ensuring waifufagging will ruin what might otherwise be a pretty comfy quest.

Honestly it would be cool if part of our butler duties include being the best wingman / matchmaker for Vivi, but doubt its gonna happen.
>>
>>3136559
>> "An unbecoming noble-girl calls for a responsible servant. Although your indecency is tempting, I've managed to train myself restraint."
>>
>>3136623
Tbh, as I said I see our character as more of a Serpico of sort so I'd be more inclined to go stabby-stabbo on people being inconsiderate or too forward toward our mistress than to try and get her a fiancé.
>>
>>3136644
>Implying she needs help stabbing people.
>>
>>3136644
Going stabby stabbing is a given, but Vivi is the sole heir to a noble house. Producing a child to continue the bloodline is an obligation that comes with a noble title.

She's gonna have to marry at SOME point, so its up to us, her faithful butler, to fliter out all the...undesirables....that will flock to court a lady of her standing. And it goes without saying that, should her eye catch on someone, we'll put in our upmost efforts to smooth the way for her.
>>
>>3136654
Too bad we can't just get our own noble title, and infuse our own bloodline with someone else's.
>>
>>3136666
Hey, if we go down the 'befriend princes' route getting bestowed a noble title might be a, very slim, future possibility. It will take a hell of a lot of time and effort on both us AND Vivi's parts though, so good luck with that.

Also nice digits.
>>
>>3136666
We can do that supersatan. But i feel its easier to get someone who is such a bitch that can be easily manipulated by us and her compared to rising to nobility be doing acts of heroism and then change our past so no one knows that we were once vivi's servant.
>>
>>3136559
>> "Don't worry, Mistress, I myself wouldn't want it any other way. It's quite fun to be around you, I suppose."
>>
>>3136682
Given the amount of bastards sired by nobles that end up in the slums, odds aren't that low that we might have a bit of blue blood ourselves tho that plot hook might feel a little forced.
Nonetheless, a title above mere knighthood is all things considered something we're both quite unlikely to get and that would have very little use to us.

>>3136654
Oh, I totally agree on that; I thought you meant that we would actively try and get her to find a boyfriend.

>>3136666
Once more, we're a mere street urchin, we've no pretension to dating, even less marrying someone of such a high noble birth as our mistress and our relationship seems more brotherly (from our own side at least) than romantic.
>>
>>3136702
Even a knighthood is miles better than 'random bastard street urchin' - that + Vivi's murderous rage if denied might will probably be enough for Daddy Dearest to give a union his approval.
Otherwise, he's very likely to make poor Saul ''disappear''' and weather the fallout from Vivi's end if he gets wind of us habouring any possible intentions towards his daughter.

Though I'm not actively gunning for Vivi ending up with Saul at any rate - all of this is just spectulation.

Also getting our own title means we don't HAVE to work in Vivi's service anymore...so that's something I guess?
>>
>>3136711
But then what would the quest be called? Would it just end at that point?
>>
>>3136712
The name would stay she same, because for unknown reasons the king died, the queen died, and for some reason or another Vivi is the only one fit to be queen. So is up to us to stop the new sadistic queen from murdering left and right and stop her from crashing the kingdom with no survivors
>>
>>3136720
But she's an executoner. Not a royalty. I don't see how they'll get to royalty
>>
>>3136721
The reason is really simple. Because the plot demands it.
>>
>>3136720
>Queen
....not unless Saul manages the greatest feat of matchmaking ever known to humankind and manages to get our socially awkard, murderously inclined mistressed hitched to the ladies man crown prince. If he's even on the market, that is. We don't even know how close the two princes attending the academy are from the Crown.

Actually, I'd 100% support any prince / Vivi endgame just for the amount of hoops poor Saul will have to jump through to make it a reality. His suffering will be delicious.

>>3136712
Keep in mind ANY royal boon is a very very veeery late quest event if it ever happens. By that point Saul might have grown in such a way that he might not want to be in Vivi's service any longer, in which case QM can neatly wrap up the quest.
>>
>>3136711
Even if it turned out we secretly had been some Duke's legitimate son all along and were granted a fucking duchy by the King himself, daddy still wouldn't allow a marriage between his daughter and us.

Nobility thrives on honor, even a disliked bloodline like an executioners' one is no exception to it, and we're so much in the negatives on that domain that we will simply never reach a level were we're "marriage material" for Vivi or any other noble.

If we're smart tho, we can make ourselves enough cash and influence to find ourselves some nice bourgeois girl to marry and settle down with later and maybe even gun for that title you're so desperate for tho even if we **do** get a knighthood or barony, odds are quite low we'd stop working for Vivi.

All the beauty of the kind of relationship we have with her is that we're both very much broken and dependent on the other.
>>
>>3136740
Well, Vivi is obviously best girl so far, so I hope we can stick with her longer.
>>
>>3136743
>>3136748
Yeah this is all speculation on my end - I'd rather neither Saul or Vivi get into the dating game this quest (especially not with each other), because then the anons arguing over who to dick will become unbearable.

I do support befriending all Royalty who attend the academy though - it'll greatly help towards achieving Vivi's goal in life.
>>
>>3136760
So we are going to pull a "puss on boots" then? Fool everyone so that our sadistic ball of joy gains her spot as royal excecutioner?
>>
>>3136779
Well obviously - do YOU see Vivi gaining the spot solely on her own merits right now? And we certainly DO want Vivi to achieve all her hopes and dreams...no matter what it takes.

But since we're a good butler, another goal of ours should be to get her some good social skills while both she and her peers are captive audiences in the academy.

"Is that so?," Vivi utters, sinking her face halfway deep into the bathwater, resurfacing when in need to breath. "Sally would've said something more better."

"Well, Sally would've because she'll have to follow your orders."

"Did Sally have fun?..."

You take a moment to think, grinning slightly, "...Yes, My Mistress, she did."

Vivi laughs in reassurance, "Kehaha~ Of course, of course~! While we're on the topic, who's your ideal woman?" unfazed nor showing any trace of embarrassment this time. "Bet you like one with huge knockers, that's a personal favorite of mine!" she says, groping an imaginary bosom with a seductive expression.

"You say that even though you still do it."

"That's because I have no other choice."

"Hmph," Vivi huffed, but returning to a lax state. "Massage my feet again, they're aching."

"Yes, yes..."

Upon exiting the bathroom - your master completely dried at this point of time - she idles around in nothing but a towel. The call for dinner soon arises, delivering her another dish from the cafeteria that may or may not be made by you. Either way, she enjoyed the meal and the darkening sky.

To keep herself busy, you made a batch of fire sprites to play with. Although imitations of life, they somehow learned fear as Vivi toyed with them, trapping them in a box to see who can survive the longest against her myriad of daggers. They seem to be wining funnily enough, panicking about with figurative adrenaline fueling their senses-- Vivi is having a blast too it seems.

You let her be, as her habit is hard to break. The strange thing is that she just started doing it out of nowhere, troubling a few maids back then until their duty was passed onto you. It was generally accepted when she neared ten years old, becoming that of Vivi's personality which is a lot more tame than what's commonly known about her.

Even her father didn't know what to do-- her mother may have influenced Vivi in some way as her reputation isn't exactly that of a patient maiden. To put is simply, Vivi's mother used to be quite the drunken party animal, retiring her wildness when Vivi's father started a relationship with her. The story is weird enough in your own head.

Vivi yawns, "What time is it?"

"It's almost seven, Mistress, quite early for your bedtime."

"I'll go to sleep anyways~" crashing onto her bed.

Vivi tucks herself under the blankets, unwrapping the towel and throwing it aside for you to pick up. As she laid down, enveloped by a couple pillows, you toned down the lighting, your master quickly falling asleep.

At this stage of day, you're allowed to complete any amount of tasks before morning, that is if you're quiet. The first thing that was on your mind is to wash her clothes, going down the dormatory's laundry room to clean Vivi's garments anew. Other than that, there isn't much left to do other than feeding the white bird.

Passing by the sleeping mistress, who is already tossing herself in bed, you exit the room and into the darkened hallway. The dormitory is as silent as it can be, the corridors scarcely populated by other personnel who are completing any nighttime duties: general maintenance of the building and whatnot.

As a butler, you must help your socially inept master in any way, shape, or form possible. Gossip is good place to start; the lips between young men and women are loose when they think that no one's listening-- the latter being more susceptible to this sort of thing. It only gets more infectious when they grow up, creating certain circles of information, however, that's a matter that doesn't pertain to this situation.

Subtly listening to one door to another, more importantly those whose residents are loud enough to hear, you filter out anything of value for your master. From what you can tell, Archenweld academy is quite the unique place, narrowing out the following from your findings:

*The black magic club - more commonly known as the occult club for its noticeable fashion - is shady.

*A commoner managed to enter Archenweld today by passing its exam. Most who come here take it themselves, but being nobles, they can just attend here through money.

*A viscount's son is apparently gifted in magic, his skills and abilities seemingly abnormal. Often comes across as calculative with an uninterested attitude towards most.

*Both of Francheur's princes, Roland and Henrison Cheruex, along with the prime minister's son, Charles Lorensol, are attending their first year at Archenwald.

*Charles Lorensol is quite the sickly fellow. Nonetheless, his health isn't in a detrimental state.

*The occult club is shady.

*The daughter of the archduke family of Czesara is also attending her first year here, notable for her arrogance towards those below her.

*The creepy of daughter of the D'Roix County family is attending her first year here, along with her personal butler that seems to be always at her side.

*The academy's budget, although big enough as it is, was granted additional funding from the Palace. Probably because the princes are here.

*There's an influx of monsters within Lockewood forest, north of the academy and capital city of Francheur, Uramel. Not seen as a threat, but the military stationed a sizable amount of troops near the area just in case.

Needless to say, what you've gathered has put you in a satisfied mood.

Going to the bottom floor of the building, you pass by the receptionist desk to enter through the back door, a cold wind meeting you there the moment you step onto the pavement. Although dark, the pale moon illuminates the surroundings in a faint glow, clarifying your vision with a low light.

It is calm behind the dormitory, the swaying of leaves sounding a tranquil music that only nature can produce. For a moment, you just stand in place, admiring what is in front of you for a good minute or two before displacing yourself. The atmosphere is broken unfortunately when you hear a voice coming from your right-hand side, your head shifting towards the direction.

"Huh, there's someone here?" says a maid, probably about your age, but most likely younger by a year or two. She had just came through the same door that you used not too long ago. "Sorry there, I just saw your figure pass by the receptionist's, was curios 'n all that." Her hair is a hazel brown, tied in two loose braids that would probably come off if too much force is exerted by the wind. Each cheek is dotted with freckles, and the way she talks is slightly thick with an accent; a country girl is what you initially thought.

"Who are you?"

"Just one of the live-in maids 'ere," she answered, sitting down on the floor beside you. She then took out a pack of cigars and a lighter from out of her pocket, lighting one up in front of you. "What's with the look?" noticing your surprised expression. "Oh, don't worry hun, I look strangely young for my pers'n. Twenty-two, got some weird side-effect from'a student's magic experiment."

Also thank god we didn't push the Occult CLub for Vivi - no need to tank her reputation even further.

Also looks like the girl we asked directions from earlier is literally Haruhi from Ouran Host Club - down to getting the attention of a blond Prince. Wonder if we could get Vivi to befriend her and be her creepy Renge.
>>
>>3137718
Occult club would have been a social suicide not to mention that the kind of chuunis who'd join it would probably be terrorized by someone like Vivi who isn't actually faking it for attention and would unironically do human sacrifice for shit and giggle.

Also, I just noticed that the (purposely I suppose) incorrect writing of Vivi's name (D'Roix instead of De Roix) makes her name sounds like Droit (Law/Justice/Right) which is a fun touch for a dynasty of executioners.
>>
>>3137345
>*A commoner managed to enter Archenweld today by passing its exam. Most who come here take it themselves, but being nobles, they can just attend here through money.

If this commoner is female then we have just found the heroine to some reverse harem dating game. Best to keep our Lady away from this one, these type of situations never end well for the jelous crazy noble ladies.
>>
>>3137722
You guys say that but in the 1800s the occult was a bug past time for nobility in Europe.

There's also magic so Occult research might actually yield results and could be accepted practice.
>>
>>3137745
For "honorable men" it became a fad indeed but it was still heavily frowned upon by most of society.
Given our mistress come from an executioner family already with all the social stigma that goes along that and her already bad reputation as a "creepy" girl, it's unlikely people would be as forgiving of it as they would be if one of the King's sons did it by example.
>>
>>3137736
>Best to keep our Lady away from this one
On the contrary, I'd say encourage our Lady to form a friendship with this one. This commoner (which is most likely the lady who gave Saul directions earlier) has already gotten the attentions of one of the Princes - which means by befriending her we'll be more likely to rub elbows with royalty, which will only further our Lady's goal of being instated as Royal Executioner.

...Also the fallout from the reverse harem shenanigans will be too juicy to not have a front row seat to.

>>3137745
Yeah no Vivi already has a reputation as 'creepy girl to avoid', and so far she's only attended orientation and knitting club. Joining the super fucking shady Occult club would have made her an utter social pariah.
>>
>>3137759
I agree with you on that one. Let's have our mistress play the supportive character for the obvious shoujo heroine, we've literally nothing to lose and everything to gain.
She's known to be excentric already so it's not like people will be especially shocked of seeing her interacting with "the pleb" and being seen around someone who's a model of virtue and kindness will probably be a good cover for Vivi's true nature.

Not to mention that, being a commoner ourself, that girl is likely to feel kinship with us when surrounded by so many nobles that we will be able to use to our mistress' advantage.
>>
>>3137759
>>3137762
There is going to be only one way this will turn out: We will either fall for this girl, or at least our mistress will think we are in love with this girl try to get her killed and then it will blow up in our lady's face. Also, a commoner in a school with mostly nobles is going to be depised, our mistress' reputation will go down if she makes friends with her.
>>
>>3137765
It's a hit or miss. If we secure the position of being near the prince, we could get comfortable.

We just need to indulge our mistress during this time. If her needs are taken care of, she will realize we only serve her and nothing else.
>>
>>3137765
>We will either fall for this girl
Let's be frank, if Saul falls for any girl right now it's gonna be Vivi - they're just too co- dependent right now.

>mistress' reputation will go down if she makes friends with her.
Vivi's reputation is already down the shitter - everyone thinks she's creepy as hell from what gossip Saul has heard.

Like >>3137762 mentions, with how bad our rep already is, the hit to befriending the commoner will be miniscule, if its not just brushed off as one of Vivi's many, many eccentricities. Also befriending a relatively normal girl might even improve Vivi's rep - when the rest of the student body sees that she CAN act like a normal human being they might stop treating her like she's gonna murder them and dump their body in a ditch at any moment.

And we're got so much to gain if commoner does manage to fufill the shoujo heroine stereotype and marries into Royalty / power - being the only noble who even bothered to befriend her.
>>
Technically everything is a timebomb really.
If she befriend the commoner then the stuck up Czesara girl will try to bully Vivi too, and if a prince declares she's a creepy girl, then there's no amount of damage control we can do.
The other problem is that commoner girl may try to give Vivi love advice to woo us or encourage her little crush instead of some paragon of manly manliness that meshes goes on hunting trips and appreciates a lady that is willing to hunt a lion with a sword.
The occult club might be shady but we don't know HOW it's supposed to be shady. They could just as easily weird her out. It could actually be something good for her post-graduation resume as others mentioned and until we see the actual standing of the families in there it's best to not write it off immediately. They could easily be from high ranking families whom will be a great influence in the future.
Monsters exist. While I doubt she's going to be able to sneak into the army there might be some sort of monster hunting profession/club? The problem is making sure Vivi says something other than what she's thinking or rewords it better. Instead of the lustful screaming as the blood gushes out she can call it the thrill of the hunt? If she looks like an arrogant, yet capable thrill seeker we might even be able to reverse that first impression and make the members of the knitting club that were spreading rumors look bad. "How could you be so mean so her? She was thinking of ways to protect the people should a werewolf or vampire suddenly attack!"

Charles Lorensol might be an ideal candidate, his sickliness means Vivi can indulge herself away from his line of sight via having her "laboratory" far away enough that she can get to it and leave before he can physically walk there if he goes to investigate. She can even rebuke him for getting out of bed and straining himself.
I'm kind of wondering if the previous options for the MC are also attending school here too, but that's unrelated.
>>
>>3137820
>The occult club
The fact that it's shadiness pops up TWICE in the gossip implies that Vivi should only join it if she wants to have the social reputation of an actual leper.

The only tangible benefits to it so far is teaching Vivi how to kill things with magic (and Saul will probably have that corner covered anyway if we build up his skills) and maybe an alliance with the creepy Viscount.

>Czesara girl
Honestly the worse thing to come out of her bullying will be poor Saul will probably be run ragged trying to keep her and Vivi from crossing paths, otherwise Czesara is likely to suffer from an untimely and fatal ''accident'' before the school year is up.

Also she's probably gonna bully the fuck out of Vivi even without Commoner in the equation, since Vivi counts gutter trash Saul as one of her best friends.

>Charles
Yeah Saul should focus on tracking him down and 'engineering' a friendship between him and Vivi (or him and Saul) ASAP. Between being the Prime Minister's son and being buddies with the princes, that kid is a social climber's gold mine.
>>
>>3137820
But before we even try to plan something like that, we first need to get her out of her room to socialize more and the knitting club seems like our best shot.
We should try to get her a personal knitting kit to encourage her to keep going.
>>
>>3137843
Czesara is a massive wildcard depending upon how she takes threats. If she's one of the first to start bullying then we could abuse her own logic about bloodlines and point out that she's still the Royal Executioner's darling daughter. Only a complete idiot would want to be the person that bullied his little angel when meeting with him. Naturally since she was the one that took the first step, all suspicions concerning any future bullying will be cast upon her. Ergo she had better put a stop to anything starting up against Vivi for the rest of her school career if she values things like the executioner not absolutely despising her family in the event they have to "meet" with him. They can either be yet another corrupt noble family on the chopping block or the people that made his daughter cry. One choice is much worse than the other.
In retrospect, that might be something to get her father to say to the Czesara parents.
It mostly works since you can never absolutely guarantee that everyone in your family is 100% squeaky clean, so somebody you care about is going to be on the receiving end eventually. Plus executioners are probably tied with other people in the justice system, so if the Czesara family is actually kind of shady somewhere, the last thing want to do is piss off high ranking cops.
This gets the family to order the girl to stand down since they're probably some of the only people the brat would actually listen to instead of trying to be "clever" and have others do the bullying for her.
If they ask about proof (as per how many people talk about you have no proof when if it's 99% obvious that you did it) then he just points out that there is no need for proof. Only suspicion.
I'm sure I worded it badly, but if we can pull it off we might be able to force bully prime to stop any other bullies.
>>
>>3137891
That may stop her from directly going after Vivi, but all bets are off when it comes to her potentially going after Saul and / or Commoner. (Or sending whatever goons she can muster after them, because she seems like the type).

But you're right in that how we play our first confrontations with her can cause wildly different events.
>>
>>3137903
She has to do it behind the backs of the princes if th story is following tropes. Once again, you don't need proof outside of a courtroom, only reasonable suspicion. if Czesara bullied Vivi and the same sets of people all moved to the commoners we can simply mention that coincidence to the princes. Czesara is undoubtedly going to try and gold dig her way to one of the princes, so if the prince doesn't trust her then her entire plan has failed. It's probably actually a better end for Czesara since if we don't inform the prince then the standard plot is that he finds out even later and has her executed.

"It's Anne, Hun," introducing herself as well. "Some kids were trying to make crops grow faster, or someth'n like that. They misfired, and got myself caught instead-- got me turned into my fourteen year old me, and stayed like this ever since. Wacky, ain't it?"

"That's definitely unique to hear."

Anne giggles, "You look like a interesting fellow yourself, who you serve? Don't worry, I ain't loud."

You hesitate a bit, "It's the daughter of the D'Roix County."

"D'Roix?" Anne repeated, searching her head as it sounds familiar. "Ah! The executioner guys, right?"

"You're right."

"Then you have a fun person to look after, huh.'

When entering back inside Vivi's apartment your suspicions became cleared, seeing her still passed out on the bed. The bird is alright as well, its neck slumped forward in its sleep.

Vivi tossed herself too much while you were gone, her limbs hanging about and her hair wholly disheveled, only for you to fix it in the morning-- not that this is surprising. However, sometimes her position can look intentional, as if she's trying to tempt you herself. You know how comfortable she can be about risqué topics.

Moving towards a window, you push aside the curtains to spectate the scenery pass the glass, standing in place once more. The background didn't change much when you were behind the building, the noticeable difference being the angle from where you watch. Rather than nature's music of the waving leaves, your master's snores serves as a white noise. A little cute to be honest.

Looking to the clock on the wall, you can see the hand striking eleven, and soon twelve. Despite knowing this, you spare yourself a few more minutes of gazing, looking out into nothingness. Sometimes you would focus on your reflection in the glass or mirror, or try to imagine something outside that's surely isn't there at all.

Retiring to your quarters, you check on Vivi for the final time tonight before heading off to bed. You hope that tomorrow is less straining, or at least, only for your master.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rising early in the morning, you visit Vivi right away to wake her up from slumber. The task is always hard to accomplish as she's quite the lazy daughter - outside of her own interests - sometimes making you carry her out of bed just for her to regain a clear, compliant consciousness. Luckily, this morning isn't one of those mornings, although, your master does display the same indolent attitude.
"Mistress, it's time to wake up, did you forget that you're going to school today?"
"Already~? I was having a ni~ce dream..."
"Well, you can dream all you want once you have attended your classes. Here, let me fix your hair."
Sluggishly, your master sits at the edge of the bed, falling victim to her naked habit as she fails to use the bed's blanket. You sigh at the sight, picking up a brush and comb from a nearby drawer, restoring her hair back to the usual ringlets.
Before the both of you headed off to the cafeteria for breakfast, you fed the white bird who you eventually named Sally. Vivi expressed her discontent on the decision, however, dropping the matter once you've reasoned with her.
Choosing to eat her meal at a nestled corner of Archenweld's dining hall, you accompany your master as others around you do the same. People gradually filled the huge space, forming circles of friends to catch upon one another's state from yesterday and last night. Nevertheless, Vivi here, with only you-- she doesn't mind her friendlessness though, as she doesn't believe the element much when she's dependent on you.
"Why don't we sit somewhere more populated, Mistress?" you suggest.
"It'd be too crowded if we did, I cannot stand that sort of situation."
"That's just an excuse, you know."
Vivi pouted, "Having you is enough. I'm not some social outcast."
Executioners are the most hated and vilified people in the world behind tax collectors; it's been just one day and there are already rumors about how Vivi is creepy.
They're gonna be {politely) running for the hills as soon as we approach. And noble girl who IS interested is probably only looking for something to gossip about, and will most likely put Vivi on edge even further. Commoner is probably gonna be one of the most accepting people we can sit with.
"You need to keep in mind that you're a noble, and that connections will prove useful later in life. Many people here have a bad preconception of the practice, and it's up to you to clear that if you want to get better socially."
"But the best thing about being an execution is the fear that draws from people! I don't want to look like someone who kills out of virtue, because that's just plain boring-- righteous people or boring."
"What you say may or not be true to the world, but like I said just a second ago, connections will prove useful later in life. It's very crucial. Even if you do become the Royal Executioner for the Court, the Royal Family may be pressured to remove you if public opinion goes against you-- which, of course, cannot happen so suddenly, nevertheless, possible. A few good friends that can vouch for your character will be incredibly helpful, and in further benefit, may improve your standing in the eye of the masses. It's a gateway to many rich opportunities for other aspirations that you might hold in the future."
Vivi tries to register everything that you just said, swiftly becoming confuzzled when her mind figuratively overloads from thinking too much. "F-Fine! Fine! Made your point. I'll be trusting you..." deciding to cooperate, her cheek turning red with guilt and pride.
Satisfied, you look out into the gigantic hall, scouting for anyone of note that could serve as a good friend or acquaintance.
Soon you catch sight of the following, where should you lead Vivi?
> The same modest girl that helped you with directions yesterday
"Indeed, is it alright if my mistress sits with you?"
"You seemed familiar enough with the campus yesterday, did you have a map of any sort?"
"Er, uh-- No, I didn't, I just followed the trail of seniors and all that. Checked out the dorms sooner than most people," Caren explained.
"Huh, I would've wanted to know where you could get one. Could've been useful for me at the day of our arrival."
Caren then speaks to Vivi, "Have you joined any clubs already? There was a fare yesterday as well. I went there pretty early, so I guess we wouldn't have met"
Vivi replies, tweedling her fingers, "S-Saul and I went there yesterday. The knitting club was a bit interesting, I-I didn't join them though. It was a little fun."
"So we're in the same boat then," Caren herself not part of anything yet. "There's still a whole lot of clubs out there, we just have to find one that can fit us. Is there any other ones that appealed to you?"
"No, I don't think so."
Hunting is a rather direct approach if there is a monster hunting or adventuring profession/hobby and firearms aren't as overpowered as in our world. The watching other people stab em part is merely part of the training in order to be able to safely do it herself as she needs to be more skilled than her current repertoire of killing tied up animals. She gets to enjoy her own hobby and end up with people that also enjoy it even if they don't realize she's thinking of it in a completely different way. She'd be thought of as some caring noble that goes out to save the people from monsters in her territories eventually.
Also ask what clubs she has liked. Maybe both girls have something in common.
"What were the clubs that you liked? We went after a little while when my mistress was released from the ceremony, if possible, could you also tell us of any others that we might haven't seen yet?" you question, wanting to extend the list of any hopeful alternatives for your master.
Caren gestures in a thinking pose, "Let's see, there's cooking, clothes making - and by extension, the knitting and sewing club because they're closely related and interactive - the Canadol religion youth, alchemy, animal caretaking, and the black magic club. There's a lot more, but those are the ones that I can name at the top of my head. The one that I'm interested in is the alchemy club. If you want to know more, I think they have a catalog in the main office."
> "What do you think about cooking, Mistress? I could help you along the way if you do choose to enter, and you might enjoy making your own food."
> "Mistress, making clothes are quite complex on their own, not to mention needles..."
> "They have a lot of clubs concerning magic, alchemy being an eye-opener."
You'd be able to kill AND cook your own food!
Killing animals is fun but eating it is better
The Mistress used to love magic when she was younger, but I am a little worried after I ran into that maid that got permanently turned into a 14-year old from some student's experiment gone awry. What kind of stuff do alchemists do?
I think we're talking too much for Vivi. We need to get her back in this conversation somehow.
The problem is that vivi is a fucking wet blanket, and we can't really risk her speaking freely because she will definitely spook the girl.
Vivi just needs to learn how to rephrase things. She kept her hobbies hidden from her parents (and enough of the staff/teachers for rumours to not have been there before she even arrived) for years and they aren't neglectful from what I can tell. She's probably capable of faking it but seems to be purposefully trying to creep people out from what she said earlier. Either that or she just doesn't want to admit she's being creepy even if she knows it?
Thinking about what not to say would go a long way and if she used to be able to do it as a child, she can relearn to do it as a teen.
Eh. when you are a kid you can get away with a lot of bullshit because the parents don't think you are capable of doing such things. But if an adult were to do the same acts under the same circumstances, they would be discovered really quickly.
I do agree that she might be trying to creep people in purpose, or at least doesn't care about what they can think of her, but she has to learn how to fake it or at least find something that can mask her impulses.
True, but she was actually making an effort to hide her hobbies back then. She'd still be a creepy kid if she was saying the sorts of stuff she says now. The adults just wouldn't catch on to the fact that the creepy things she says are real.
Knifework, fire, pulverising stuff with a meat hammer. .. it might be the best outlet for her? And she can eventually cook all the critters she kills
Sewing needles are puny compared to knitting needles, Vivi won't be interested. But yeah agree about getting Vivi into the convo somehow more somehow - asking her opinion more? Asking what she thinks about magic in general?
Also surprised she's not the commoner, considering how un-noble everyone makes a point of mentioning she is (modesty?? In nobility??), but if commoner was the second year looking girl then I agree with the one anon that said we'll probably wind up In HER harem, which will be bad.
