In this quest you play as Wade Wakeman, a 15 year old boy with a heart of gold and the wielder of the Omnitrix. This story is being told in an alternate universe, in which there are no longer any remaining Tennysons. Characters from earlier seasons will appear, but not always in a way that you’d expect.

It's Show Time!
>>
You spent most of yesterday moping around, thinking about the consequences of your decisions. Actually now that you think about it, you aren’t even sure if normal prisons can hold Zombozo and Hex. Actually, you aren’t even sure if they caught Zombozo at all! You never saw them retrieve the tiny clown car. Oh man! Cannibal killer clown on the loose!

Your erratic train of thought is interrupted by Olivia slapping you on the back of the head.

[Wade]: Ow! What was that for?

[Olivia]: You’ve been doing nothing but sulk and mope since yesterday. I thought going to Grizzly World would cheer you up.

Oh, right. Grandpa decided to drop you guys off at Grizzly World while you’re in Florida. It’s like the biggest and most popular amusement park in the world. Legend has it that Walt Grizzy himself built that park with his own two hands. But then again, they say that they preserved his head and stuck it on a grizzly bear’s body, so those sources aren’t too credible. Man did that guy love bears though.

[Olivia]: Hellooooo! Earth to doofus!

[Wade]: Huh?!

[Olivia]: What’s up with you today? You’ve been spacing out ever since we left Georgia.

[Wade]: I dunno. This whole hero thing just started getting to me I guess. I’m realizing how much of an impact my actions have. I realized that I can do just as much bad as I can do good. And it’s...kinda scary.

Olivia looks worried for a moment, but then she takes a deep breath and puts a hand on your shoulder.

[Olivia]: You need to have confidence in your decisions. I know you’re nervous about hurting people, but to me you’ve always been someone I can count on to do the right thing. And if I ever think that you’re straying from the path of justice, I’ll gladly slap some sense into you. Deal?

She extends her hand to you with a beaming smile on her face, and you can’t help but smile back and shake her hand.

[Wade]: Deal. Thanks by the way. How come you never told me about all that?

[Olivia]: Because it’s very mushy and embarrassing, and frankly I’d die if anyone else heard it. Speaking of dying, what do you think about Captain Nemesis and Kangaroo Kommando being here?!

[Wade]: What does that have anything to do with dying?

[Olivia]: Nothing at all, I just couldn't think of a good enough segway to bring the conversation to this topic. Plus I really wanted to talk about it! So who do you think is gonna win?

[Wade]: What do you mean?

[Olivia]: They're gonna be performing a fight scene from their upcoming movie "Kangaroo vs. Nemesis: Dawn of the Vengers". I always wondered who would win in a fight.

Oh right. You forgot that Olivia was a huge fan of Nemesis and Kangaroo.

What do you say?

>Nemesis easily. His armored suit gives him a much better advantage over Kangaroo.
>Obviously Kangaroo. With enough prep time he could devise a strategy or create a gadget to defeat Nemesis.

[Wade]: As cool as it is for these kinds of discussions, I like it when they team up more.

[Olivia]: I think they're leading up to that. What with the whole "Dawn of the Vengers" thing and all.

[Wade]: A setup movie? Dropped!

[Olivia]: Oh c'mon! It could be good.

[Wade]: I think I'll wait for the reviews.

Just then, a bloodcurdling scream pierces through the air. Everyone stops what they're doing and looks up to see a woman hanging precariously off of the rails of a roller coaster.

[Olivia]: How'd she get up there?

[Wade]: No time to for questions. We need to save her.

You open up your watch and prepare to make a selection.

[???]: So, what kind of alien you gonna pick?

You both turn around to see a bearded man wearing a long black coat. He's eating popcorn as he waits for your answer.

[???]: Wait, don't tell me. XLR8.

[Wade]: Who?

[???]: Fast guy. Blue. Metal dinosaur. Ring any bells?

Does he mean K8-E's species? Wait. He knows about aliens!

[Wade]: Who are you and what do you want?

[Kirby]: Call me Kirby. And what I want is for you to pick an alien and save that woman before she loses her grip. Hop to it.

Ugh, this guy is seriously getting on your nerves. But he's right about his priorities.

You dial the cursor over to Dropkick and slam your hand down on the watch. You close your eyes and stretch your arms out to make the transformation a little easier on your body. Once you're transformed, you fall back and quickly catch yourself on your long arms.

[Kirby]: A Rwaddi. Nice choice.

Is that the name for these guys? Pretty neat.

[Wade]: Well you did say to hop!

You use crouch down and use your powerful legs to jump toward the source of the screams. Suddenly, you see a roller coaster approaching the woman with great speed. It doesn't look like it's slowing down either.

What do you do?

You remember that all roller coasters have an emergency break. Maybe Olivia can reach it in time to stop it.

[Wade]: Olivia, emergency break!

[Olivia]: On it!

She runs to the console with the emergency break and skillfully vaults over the metal dividers in her way. All the while, Kirby continues to smile and eat his popcorn.

You reach the base of the coaster and begin to climb your way to the top. You see the coaster car getting closer, so you pick up the pace by swinging to the inside of the coaster frame and climbing by swinging from one metal bar to the next. You manage to keep a good rhythm use your momentum and quick reflexes to get to the top much faster than you thought you would. When the woman sees you, she screams and almost lets go of the rails. You quickly snatch her up and jump away from the oncoming coaster before it has a chance to reach you. Looking back, you see that the coaster slowed down and eventually came to a complete stop. Must be Olivia's doing.

You pop out your claws and use them to latch onto a nearby metal pole. You slide down the pole with your newly rescued damsel screaming all the while. When you set her down, she gives you a very nasty look and slaps you.

[Damsel]: What do you think you're doing?! This wasn't in the script!

[Wade]: Script?

[???]: Cut! What is going on?

You look over to see a bearded man wearing a black graphic tee that advertises the Vengers movie. Wait a minute...

[Damsel]: Ugh, I'm going to my trailer.

[Director]: Aww, Jess wait! We can just re-shoot the scene with CGI!

The director chases after the ill-mannered woman.

[Nemesis]: What's the big idea? Wrecking our set and our scene? Did someone send you to sabotage us, or are you just that clumsy?

THE Captain Nemesis just walked up to you and started yelling at you. You don't know whether to be excited, scared or upset. But you certainly are confused.

[Wade]: Did I interrupt your filming? Sorry about that. To be fair, her acting was really good! It seemed so real!

[Nemesis]: Hmph. That was the only convincing part of her acting. It's part of the reason we put her up there in the first place.

You raise an eyebrow at his statement, but he doesn't notice.

[Wade]: Shouldn't you have the staff informing guests of your filming techniques. That really worried a lot of people. And I didn't see any rigging to prevent her from falling. No wires, no net, nothing.

[Nemesis]: We needed to make it look believable. And the crowd's reactions were so genuine that we can use it in the actual film. It's a great way to cut down on our budget.

[Wade]: She could've been hurt, or worse.

[Nemesis]: Nonsense. Kangaroo was waiting for her to drop in his arms when the coaster got near. You just stole his thunder. Actually, I should be thanking you for that. I wish I could've seen the look on his face.

Nemesis breaks into a hardy laugh, but you aren't the least bit amused. This guy is rubbing you the wrong way. He doesn't seem the least bit bothered by the actresses' life being in peril.

[Wade]: I should get back to my family. Good luck with your movie.

You jump away from him in a hurry.

[Nemesis]: I hope their costume's look better than yours.

You land in some bushes near Olivia and the weird guy and you undo your transformation. You walk out of the bushes brushing leaves out of your hair and fixing your clothes.

[Olivia]: Is she ok?

[Wade]: Yeah she is. Thanks for the assist. But it turns out that this whole thing was a PR stunt.

[Olivia]: Really?! Did you get to meet Captain Nemesis or Kangaroo Kommando?

She's really excited now, having completely forgotten the presence of the man behind her.

[Wade]: Yeah I did. And sorry to break it to you, but your hero is an absolute tool. He seems to mostly be interested in profit and bizarre cost-saving strategies.

[Olivia]: What?! No way? He always looked so nice on TV...

Your cousin looks pretty disappointed, but she had to learn the truth sooner or later. You now turn your attention toward Kirby.

[Kirby]: Solid work, kid. Not the alien I would've picked, but it all worked out in the end.

[Wade]: Do you wanna tell me who you really are?

[Kirby]: Ok, if you say so. But you're gonna want to sit down for this.

Both you and Olivia sit down on a bench while he clears his throat.

[Kirby]: My name is Ben Tennyson, but my friends call me Kirby. I was the wielder of the Omnitrix in my dimension, and I was the greatest hero in the universe!

Kirby puts his foot on a stone to strike a dramatic pose.

[Wade]: What happened?

[Kirby]: My watch was taken from me and I got thrown out by my family. I got kidnapped and dropped here by some time-traveling, dimension-hopping, ominous foreshadowing douche-bag. And the only way that I can make it back is if I prevent you from getting yourself killed.

[Wade]: Getting myself killed? I think I've been doing pretty good so far though.

Your mind wanders to Charmcaster once more, and you begin to doubt yourself a bit. Olivia notices this and puts a hand on your back.

[Olivia]: He's been doing amazing for a 15 year old without an instruction manual for an alien watch.

She says this with the utmost confidence.

[Kirby]: That may be, but I literally have nowhere else to go until this stupid job is over. I might as well spend it teaching you a thing or two. So who are you facing?

[Wade]: What do you mean?

[Kirby]: Who's your big bad villain. Is it Vilgax?

[Wade]: I think he's dead. My grandpa told me that he killed him.

[Kirby]: Unlikely, but we'll roll with it. Let me try again. Wait, don't tell me you're fighting DNAliens...

[Olivia]: What are those?

[Kirby]: Boring and repetitive is what they are.

[Wade]: We're fighting a criminal warlord called D'Traxus.

[Kirby]: Never heard of him. Is he tough?

[Wade]: No idea. I've never met the guy.

[Kirby]: Good, then we have time. I'll be sure to get you in peak condition. I'm pretty sure this D'Traxus guy is a pushover compared to Vilgax. Any questions?

[Wade]: Can you teach me any neat tricks for the watch? I've figured out the voice activation system, the scanning system, and the DNA repair system. And that whole mechanic with timing out early to save time on the recharge.

[Kirby]: Impressive. How long have you had the watch?

[Wade]: Two weeks now.

[Kirby]: You've got a pretty solid grasp over the watch's functions in a short amount of time. To be honest you've already learned what I'd consider the beginners course. But don't think that I'll just let you have whatever you want. I'm not spoiling you. But I will give you a welcoming present.

He reaches for your watch and begins to turn the dial from left to right, as if it were combination code on a locker. Once he's finished, the Omnitrix makes a series of high pitched beeping sounds that you've never heard before.

[Wade]: What'd you just do?

[Kirby]: You'll figure it out. Next question.

[Wade]: How did you lose your watch?

Kirby scratches the back of his neck and signs deeply.

[Kirby]: Ok, I'll summarize it for you. The fame got to my head, my family got tired of my attitude and left me, my son chose some dimension hopping prick over me and went on his own adventures. Long story short, my son died on his watch and I lost it. My watch was...confiscated for my rash behavior, and I got put out on the streets. I drank a lot, abused some questionable substances, joined a band, got hitched, and learned magic.

Both you and Olivia are just stunned by how he told his life story as if it were no big deal. Like he was telling a story he's told a million times. He dropped a couple of bombs in that explanation too.

[Kirby]: Next question.

[Wade]: But-

[Kirby]: Next question!

Well you can always ask him later. But what you're most concerned about right now is that ugly little bag on his waist. you've been staring at it for a while now. It looks like something a depraved orphan would make in arts-and-crafts.

[Wade]: What's with that freaky bag on your hip?

[Kirby]: Oh this? This is my wife, and the love of my life. She meditates a lot so you probably won't see her much. I might evem get to introduce you two some day, if you're lucky that is.

A long silence falls over you and your cousin. You have no idea how you should be responding to this.

[Wade]: Oh that's...nice.

[Olivia]: Can't wait, haha...

Suddenly, another scream echoes throughout the park. It sounds like the actress from before.

[Olivia]: Man she is good! Too bad she's got zero personality though.

You run to investigate the incident, and the other follow behind you. You see smoke rising in the distance so you decide to follow the source of it. When you get there, you see an overturned trailer and some damaged wires nearby. It seems the exposed wires started a fire, but it hasn't grown too big yet.

[Olivia]: What happened here?

[Kirby]: Maybe they're still filming. If so then I tip my hat to the set designer.

A bruised and battered man suddenly crawls out of the overturned trailer. It's the director from before!

[Wade]: What happened? Are you ok?

[Director]: I'll be fine. Kangaroo...took Jessica...

[Wade]: Which way did he go?

He points to the Southeast and you see a man making great leaps while holding someone. The director seems to be having trouble breathing. You'd feel pretty bad leaving him there. Kirby pushes you aside gently and begins tending to his wounds. You notice that his hands begin glowing green and the director's wounds start to slowly close.

[Kirby]: You guys go, I'll handle this.

You fold you wings behind yourself and dive into Kangaroo's back, using your free wings to grab both Olivia and Jessica. Kangaroo crashes right on his face, but you land gracefully on your pointy little feet. He recovers rather quickly and starts scowling at you.

[Wade]: Gotta say Kangaroo, I'm a huge fan. I love the new suit, but I personally prefer the classic.

You look to Jessica and narrow your eyes a bit.

You manipulate the blood flow to your brain and force your body to release adrenaline, slowing your perception of time. The Kang-a-Rangs now appear to be moving much slower to you, so you sharpen your wings and cut down all incoming projectiles. To everyone else, you appeared to be a red and white blur that instantly minced the metal boomerangs in front of you. Kangaroo starts to back off and he pulls out what looks like a bomb trigger.

[Kangaroo]: Step back! I've got a random coaster rigged to blow. If you let me go, then I won't let go of this dead-man's switch.

You quickly whip your wing at his hand, coil it around his fingers several times and increase the pressure. He's clearly caught off guard and attempts to cut at your wing, but to no avail.

[Wade]: Lucky Girl, go find the bombs!

[Olivia]: How am I supposed to do that? They could be anywhere!

[Wade]: Try to get lucky I guess. I'll hold him here. Get some security over here too.

She simply nods and runs in the opposite direction. Now it's just you and Kangaroo...

[Kangaroo]: How long you think you can keep this up hero?

[Wade]: You're the one that should be worried-

Wait. You can't keep this up forever. The watch is gonna time out after 8 minutes! That isn't enough time to find the bombs and disarm them! Fuck!!

You start to sweat a bit, hoping he won't notice. Are you sweating blood? Weird...

The next couple of minutes are grueling, between maintaining your grip, withstanding the effects of the bizarre gadgets that Kangaroo tries on you to get you to let go, and waiting on security to show up. And they eventually do, but you've only got 3 minutes left. Now you and the Kommando sit in complete silence.

[Kangaroo]: So, who made your costume. The material is incredibly strong.

What do you say?

[Wade]: Trade secret. But if you give me the bomb locations I can tell you.

[Kangaroo]: Ha, nice try! But even I don't know where they are. I hired somebody to place them at random locations around the park last night. So I won't squeal.

You get upset and tighten your grip on his hand, grinding his bones against one another. He kneels down and cries in pain, He certainly squealed then.

[Wade]: Why are you doing this? I used to look up to you.

[Kangaroo]: Because you're all believing a lie. Abel North isn't the man you all think he is He's a liar and a thief!

[Wade]: But...aren't you Abel North?

[???]: No, he's not.

Suddenly, a man wearing spandex drops out of the sky and lands in front of you.

[Kommando]: I am.

Another Kangaroo Kommando?! And this one's wearing the classic suit! It never gets old...

Meanwhile...

Verdona has been searching the outskirts of the galaxy for a few days now, and she's already gotten painfully bored. She drifts in an endless sea of misshapen asteroids, just waiting to find something exciting. But thankfully, she's brought her own entertainment!

She carries a purple cat under her arm, but like her she has no difficulty breathing. In fact, she looks rather frustrated.

[Gwen]: Can I go home now?

[Verdona]: Now Gwen, I didn't spend 4 hours teaching you how to talk and read my spell books for nothing did I? You're going to be my companion on this journey. At least then it won't be so boring.

[Gwen]: Can't you at least find some food for me? I need to eat you know.

[Verdona]: Oh believe me I would darling, but I have to recreate food from memory. And it's been a long time since I've had any cat food.

[Gwen]: Ugh, whatever. Can I at least keep reading your spell-books?

[Verdona]: But you'll have to do it aloud so the rest of the class can follow along.

[Gwen]: Sure, you're just gonna talk over me again. "Ner'mentei Sharan-"

[Verdona]: Did I ever tell you how much I love that you picked up magic?

[Gwen]: You're just glad I learned those preservation and breathing spells so fast. You didn't even wait a day before dragging me to space!

[Verdona]: I'm sorry my child, but my lover needed me. If it makes you feel any better, I gave you a very special name. If I were to have a daughter, I'd like her to be named Gwen. I always loved that name, and I think of you as my own child.

Gwen looks genuinely shocked.

[Gwen]: Wow. I-I didn't know th-

[Verdona]: Oh look, a radiation storm! How fun! Let's go, Gwen!

Verdona quickly flies into the storm as Gwen screeches and hisses in protest.

So wait...there’s two Kangaroo Kommando’s?! This is like some sort of comic book event. And you’re a part of it!

[Kommando]: That man is an impostor! I’m the real Abel North.

[Kangaroo]: Oh please. As if he would believe you. It looks like you bought that costume at Party City.

[Kommando]: A classic never goes out of style. And after I read that script, I knew they wanted to make major unneeded changes to Kangaroo Kommando. Kangaroo Kommando is an American icon. He doesn’t brood or wear high-tech armored suits to fight other heroes. I even heard that they want him to curse and kill people!

[Kangaroo]: I’m only doing what I have to preserve his name and status as the greatest hero that ever lived. If it were up to you, his mantle would be buried alongside you! This is his only chance to become popular and relevant again.

[Kommando]: He doesn’t need to remain relevant. He only needs to maintain his wholesome values and morals to teach lessons to his fans, and I see you don’t have either of those.

[Wade]: And kidnapping that girl doesn't help either.

[Kangaroo]: That girl couldn't act if her life depended on it, and she threatened to walk in the middle of filming. I wanted Jennifer Nocturne, but instead we had to get some talent-less hack that was sleeping with the director. If I didn't get rid of her, she would've ruined the whole movie.

[Wade]: Her screams were pretty convincing at least.

This has been going on for a while. Maybe you should intervene, because you only have a minute and a half left! Suddenly, Captain Nemesis descends from the sky on his built in jet-pack.

[Nemesis]: Fear not citizens, for I am Captain Nemesis!

Everyone around him applauds. And he's speaking in his overly cheesy acting voice. You’re getting a bad feeling about this…

[Nemesis]: Kangaroo Kommando, I see you’re having a bit of an identity crisis. What say you and I deal with this impostor and his pet monster?

He then winks to the evil Kommando. When you look around, you can see a camera hovering over him and filming the whole thing. Does he think this is all part of the movie? He’s going to ruin everything!

[Kangaroo]: It appears you and I will have to team up, Nemesis. Just this one time, in the name of truth and justice!

Nemesis prepares the fire a blast at you with his wrist mounted laser. And you don’t think that thing is non-lethal!

What do you do?

>Swing the evil Kommando at him.
>Let go of Kommando and fly out of there. You don't have much time on your watch and you don't want to be caught on tape.
>Let go of Kommando and immediately wrap your wing around the bomb trigger to keep it from going off.
>Destroy the camera and dodge the shot. Hopefully that thing isn't too expensive.

You let go of Kangaroo's hand and wrap up the bomb trigger at the same time. You perform the action so fast that barely a second passes as you do it. While the laser shot flies through the air, you move your other wing to slice the camera that's recording you. And lastly, you barely dodge the laser shot and fly away from the fight. You feel bad about leaving the classic Kommando to fight both of them by himself, but you can't risk those bombs going off. You find a nearby security guard, and you hand the trigger to him. You strongly emphasize how he can't let go of it until they find the bombs, and you fly off before you time out. After hiding in a quiet little corner of the park, you time out without exposing your identity.

You wonder if you should go back to help Kangaroo Kommando, but you won't last too long against both of those guys in your human form. And you know that he can't handle them on his own for 10 minutes. just then, you hear your watch make the same high pitched beeping sound from before.

[Omnitrix]: Recharge key expended. Restoring functions.

Huh? Recharge key? Is this a new feature? Maybe this is what Kirby was doing earlier. You open up the face of your watch and move to the alien selection screen. This is gonna be fun!

>You've unlocked the recharge key function! Recharge keys can be generated by Kirby and other people who are very knowledgeable in the Omnitrix's functions. Recharge keys can be generated once a day, and they can only be used once a day.

You select this new one that you've never noticed before. You're pretty sure Kirby gave him to you, so he must be useful. You slam down on your watch and close your eyes. You can feel a hard mineral covering your skin and glazing over your eyes. At first it makes your body feel heavy, but then you quickly get used to the weight and are able to move with ease. When you open your eyes, you realize that you've gotten much taller. You look at your arms and see that a blue mineral has covered your entire body. When you focus a bit, your arms change into sharp blades! You can also fire diamond shards as ranged weapons! This guy is super useful, but you don't have time to test out his abilities. You've been given a second wind and the clock is ticking. You can't afford to waste this chance.

When you return to to help the good Kangaroo, you notice that he looks very bruised and tired. His ragged breath and his torn costume leads you to believe he's been on the losing end of this battle since you left. Evil Kangaroo and Nemesis have been ganging up on him for a while, so you aren't surprised that he's having a hard time.

You dig your hands into the ground and use them to create a crystalline wall that separates evil Kangaroo and Captain Nemesis from the good Kangaroo. They turn around to look at you, but they aren't quick enough to dodge the crystalline spikes that come out the ground and hit them square in the chest. The impact causes them to fly backwards and crash into the wall you made, shattering it to pieces and hurting them even more. They now lay on the ground groaning in pain. They don't look like they can take much more.

[Wade]: Man I wish I kept the camera rolling so someone could've seen that! You okay?

[Kommando]: I'll be fine. Thanks for the save. There are an awful lot of monsters running around today.

[Wade]: What do you want to do with them? Because I was gonna tear their suits to shreds.

[Kommando]: We should wait for the authorities to properly explain the situation to them. If we just leave the scene of the crime, then various misunderstandings could form.

[Wade]: But we have witnesses.

[Kommando]: Witnesses that can be bribed and threatened not to testify in court. Unless we give a detailed report to the authorities. Nemesis is rich and has access to some of the best lawyers that money can buy, so he'll be out of prison in no time unless we provide sufficient evidence.

[Wade]: Wow, you've really thought this whole thing through.

[Kommando]: Of course I have. I'm a professional.

He gives you his award winning smile and it just warms your heart. You then proceed to walk over to your assailants and forcefully strip them of their armor. Hopefully they won't be able to hurt anyone ever again. You suddenly hear sirens going off in the distance. That must be the security team.

[Kommando]: Go. I'll take care of this.

[Wade]: You sure? What about all that stuff you said about us giving a report.

[Kommando]: I can do it myself, but it'll be hard to explain a giant monster being here. It'll bring up too many questions.

[Wade]: Thanks.

[Kommando]: No, thank you.

He extends a hand to you. You smile and grab his hand lightly as to not crush it. You just teamed up with Kangaroo Kommando and shook his hand!

You then turn around and run to find a safe place to time out. After things have calmed down a bit, you run into Olivia and Kirby.

[Wade]: Did you find the bombs?

[Olivia]: Yeah, I did. Thankfully they never went off when the bomb squad disarmed them. I guess I got lucky.

[Wade]: We all did.

[Kirby]: It wasn't luck, it was skill. you were amazing out there. You took an alien that you've never used before and completely stomped those guys out! It might actually be fun to teach you.

Kirby is genuinely happy for the first time that you've seen him, and it fills you with pride.

The both of you bump fists and he pulls you closer to give you a noogie. The way he treats you reminds you of your relationship with Grandpa Phil, and it just feels comfortable for some reason.

[Wade]: Seriously guys, thanks for everything. I couldn't have done it without you.

[Olivia]: Hey, that's what family is for. Now how about we all celebrate by going on the gut buster! I bet the line is super short because of all the mayhem and panic!

You suddenly realize that you can make this day a bit more exciting by inviting an alien friend of your. Or you could just spend some wholesome family time with Ollie and Kirby. Or both!

You dial K8-E's number into your phone and wait a bit. After 3 rings she picks up.

[Wade]: Hey K8-E, you busy?

[K8-E]: Not at all. I was just doing a bit of whittling. Why do you ask?

[Wade]: I'm at Grizzly World and I was wondering if you wanted to hang out? We have an extra ticket for you if you want to come.

[K8-E]: Grizzly World? What is that?

[Wade]: It's a bear themed theme park. It's a lot less weird when you see it in person. It has rides and games that you can enjoy. I thought you'd like it.

[K8-E]: It sounds amazing, but won't I cause a panic by showing everyone my alien form?

[Wade]: Nah, we'll just tell them that it's a costume. It worked for me, so it'll probably work for you.

[K8-E]: Oh, well then I'll trust your judgement. I will drop my kids off with a babysitter and run right over there. I should arrive in an hour.

[Wade]: Cool! Let me know when you get here, ok?

[K8-E]: Ok. I'll see you then.

She hangs up and you breathe a sigh of relief. She trusts you enough to go out in public with you at least. Since it'll take a while for her to get here, you and the rest of your family decide to start getting on rides.

Olivia was right about the lines being short. You get on the Gut Buster with only two other people in line.

[Kirby]: I haven't been on a roller coaster in years! Especially one this retro.

[Olivia]: Are you from the future?

[Kirby]: I guess you can say that. It's an alternate future though. Really different from yours in a lot of ways.

[Wade]: Have you been to other alternate dimensions other than ours?

[Kirby]: Yeah I have. Back when I was young and adventurous. They were almost always different versions of me though. It's rare for an Omnitrix wielder to not be a "Ben".

[Wade]: Is that bad?

[Kirby]: Not from what I saw. You're a lot better than I was when I started out. But then again I was a bit of a doofus back then.

As you all sit in your seats, the attendants secure your seat-belts and safety bars before you shoot off at 60 miles per hour. They call it the Gut Buster because the entire time you're on the ride you feel as if your guts are getting compressed by the force and speed. The sudden turns and constant loops constantly keep you on the edge of your seat. Surprisingly, Kirby was screaming a lot more than Olivia was. Maybe he's not used to getting thrown around like this.

When you get off, you and Olivia sit with Kirby while he recuperates.

[Kirby]: Hoo boy. Haven't moved that fast since I rode my hover-board.

[Wade]: You have one too?

[Kirby]: Oh yeah! But I didn't get to grab it before I got tossed here. All I have on me is my wife and a few pages of my spell-book.

What do you want to talk to Kirby about?

You and Olivia spend the next couple of minutes recounting your adventure so far.

[Kirby]: So you're a clone of Max, and Max is dead?

[Wade]: Yeah, it was pretty hard to swallow when i first learned about it. You said your last name was Tennyson right? Are you two related?

[Kirby]: Yeah, he's my grandpa in my dimension. He's the only reason I'm even alive right now. He's pulled my butt out of the fire more times than I can count.

[Wade]: For me it's been my Grandpa Phil that's watched over me.

[Kirby]: If he can raise a kid like you, then he must be an amazing guy.

[Wade]: Also a woman named Verdona gave me the watch. She threw a meteor at me and the watch came from some space pod.

[Kirby]: What?! You got the watch from grandma Verdona? Why'd she give it to you?

[Wade]: She said that I remind her of Max and she wants me to run away with her.

[Kirby]: I think I'm gonna be sick. She's like 80 years old or something! Maybe even older!

[Wade]: I promised that I-

You look to Olivia for a moment.

[Wade]: I promised that "we'd" go with her on a trip to see the galaxy when I turned 18.

[Kirby]: That's still gross, but hey if that's what you're into...

[Wade]: Can I finish my story?

[Kirby]: Fine fine. Go on...

[Wade]: I fought some cat lady named Nyancy Chan, an evil scientist named Doctor Animo, an evil witch called Mom, an alien crook called Vulkanus, a circus freak trio, a zombie clown named Zombozo, and a witch doctor named Hex. And now I can add Captain Nemesis and Kangaroo Kommando to that list.

Kirby looks visibly surprised.

[Kirby]: That's quite the Rogue's Gallery you've got there. Any of them give you trouble?

[Wade]: Not really. Most of them went down pretty easily. I also made some friends along the way. One of them was a mutant like me named Kevin, and the other is a Kineceleran named K8-E. She's actually coming to meet us here later today.

Olivia gets a devious smile on her face when you mention K8-E. You know she's thinking something cheeky, so you ignore her. You also think about mentioning Malware, but you aren't sure if you should bring him up.

[Kirby]: Wait wait wait. You made friends with Kevin?! Just like that?

[Wade]: Yeah, why? Weren't you friends with him?

Kirby looks deflated for a moment.

[Kirby]: Oh yeah, sure. We were the best of buds. Yup...

[Wade]: Anyway, I had another question for you.

[Kirby]: Go for it.

(Continued in Next Post)
>>
[Wade]: What was your life like when you got the Omnitrix?

Kirby smiles warmly and closes his eyes for a moment.

[Kirby]: When I first got the Omnitrix, my life changed forever. I grew closer to my family and we really bonded that summer. I made a lot of mistakes and I made a lot of enemies, but they helped me grow. At least I thought they did...

He looks sad all of a sudden, but you aren't sure why.

[Kirby]: After I beat Vilgax, I basked in the fame and glory. My identity was exposed, but I didn't care. I put my family in danger and I was constantly fighting off bozos looking for revenge. Eventually, I got tired of it all. The fans, the commercials, the endorsements, the films and the stalkers. It was all just too much. So I did what most famous people do. I tried to take the edge of by drinking. It made me...hard to be around. And my family realized I wouldn't listen to them, so they left.

Both you and Olivia just sit there quietly for a while.

[Kirby]: The Omnitrix was a special gift that changed my life. But I wasn't ready for it. I just want to make sure that you are. I don't want you making the same mistakes that I did.

His face looks very sullen now. Recounting his past must be painful for him.

[Wade]: Have you ever tried to apologize to your family?

[Wade]: I promise that I won't make bad decisions. Well, I'll try to at least. And I'll always have Olivia and Grandpa looking out for me, so I think I'll be ok.

[Kirby]: Well I'm glad that you're confident, but don't let it go to your head.

[Wade]: Relax Kirby, everything will be fine. You know what you need? Some ice cream.

[Kirby]: I don't need ice cream.

[Wade]: As your grandpa I say that we're gonna go get some ice cream. It'll be my treat.

[Kirby]: Well...I guess it has been a couple of years since I've had any. Oh, what the hell. Lead the way, kid.

[Kirby]: Ugh, you have his taste in food too? Is it too late to reconsider your offer?

[Wade]: Oh come on. I'm sure you'll love it!

[Olivia]: Welcome to my world...

Kirby and Olivia drag themselves to the ice cream stand and all 3 of you get some calamari flavored ice cream. It takes a while for Olivia and Kirby to finish theirs, so you poke fun at them while they suffer through their bizarre frozen treats. After they've finished, all of you lay on your backs and stare at the sky.

[Kirby]: Is it weird that I kind of enjoyed that ice cream near the end there?

[Wade]: I think it's because the bitterness of the waffle cone counters the saltiness of the ice cream.

[Olivia]: Ice cream shouldn't be salty. It defeats the entire purpose of it being a dessert.

[Wade]: Your pallet just isn't refined like me and grandpa's.

Just then you get a text that K8-E is at the front gate. You jump up and run over there as fast as you can.

[Wade]: I'll be right back!

[Kirby]: What's the rush? Another alien bad guy?

[Olivia]: I bet he's in a rush to see his girlfriend~.

[K8-E]: So am I! I've never been to a theme park before! I ran over as soon as I could find a babysitter for my kids.

[Wade]: Speaking of, I bet you're hungry. It must've taken a lot of energy to run over here.

[K8-E]: Well, I guess I am pretty hungry. What do they have to eat at these parks?

[Wade]: Have you ever had a funnel cake?

[K8-E]: No, but it sounds interesting. Is it shaped like a funnel?

[Wade]: No.

[K8-E]: Then why do they call it that?

[Wade]: I've got no idea, bu it's got tons of sugary powder and delicious fried dough.

[K8-E]: Ooh! That does sound good!

The two of you walk back over to where Kirby and Olivia are. On the way, tell her to try not to use her super speed in public too often.

[Wade]: Hey guys, this is K8-E. She's my friend.

[K8-E]: It is very nice to meet you all.

[Olivia]: Hey, I remember you from the Coyote incident!

[Kirby]: The what?

[Olivia]: We were kidnapped by fake aliens and we caused a prison break and crashed their ship.

[Kirby]: Thanks, that really clears things up for me.

Olivia doesn't seem to pick up on his sarcasm.

[Kirby]: Nice to meet you. You a Plumber's kid?

[K8-E]: Oh no, I'm not half human. I came to live here by choice. It hasn't been easy, but I still love this planet and its people. Especially Wade. Wade has been very kind to me and my family. I've never met a human as respectful as he is.

Your heart skips a beat when you hear her bragging about you. What's up with you today?

[Kirby]: Oh really? Why don't you and Olivia grab some food. We'll join you guys at the table.

[Olivia]: Yeah yeah, make me do all the work after I ate your seafood sorbet. Come on K8-E.

[K8-E]: I heard we are getting a funnel cake. Is it any good?

[Olivia]: It's normal people food, and that's what I need the most right now.

After the two of them leave, Kirby puts you in another headlock.

[Kirby]: I knew you were a lady killer, kid! Just like I was at your age.

Kirby's bag seems to rustle a bit.

[Kirby]: I was too!

[Wade]: What are you talking about? And who are you talking to?

[Kirby]: I'm just trying to get some juicy details out of you. Do you like that XLR8 chick?

[Wade]: Who?

[Kirby]: K8-E. What do you think of her?

[Wade]: She's nice and her kids are nice, but I don't really know anything about her. What I do know is that she's trustworthy, and that's enough for me to want to get closer to her.

Kirby releases you from the headlock.

[Kirby]: That was a...surprisingly mature and honest answer. I wasn't really expecting that.

[Wade]: ...She is cute though.

He puts you back in the headlock and gives you the noogie of a lifetime.

[Kirby]: Attaboy!

[Olivia]: Guys! Over here!

You both look over to see Olivia and K8-E sitting at a table near you.

[K8-E]: It smells delicious!

K8-E digs in, but is careful to pace herself. Olivia however, isn't holding back at all! She's already devoured about a quarter of this thing.

[Wade]: Why do you act like we don't feed you?

[Olivia]: I'm spoiling myself for finishing that gross ice cream you made me eat. This funnel cake is my reward!

[Kirby]: Man I miss these! Human cuisine is really hard to find in the future.

After about 5 minutes, you've all finished eating the funnel cake. The majority of it went to K8-E since she needed food in her stomach the most.

[K8-E]: Thank you all for treating me. I am very grateful.

You're all distracted by the crazy amount of white powder on her face. You guess no one ever taught her how messy these things are.

[Wade]: Uh, you've got a little something right there.

She quickly realizes what you mean and grabs a napkin to wipe off the powder.

[K8-E]: Better?

[Wade]: Much. Wanna play some games?

[K8-E]: What kind do they have? I'm very good with my hands, so I'm confident that I can win anything that requires manual dexterity.

She wiggles her clawed fingers with super speed and it makes you laugh a little. Just as you're about to answer, your phone starts ringing. It's Grandpa Phil. You answer it immediately.

[Wade]: What's up grandpa?

[Phil]: Wade! The Rust Bucket! It's been stolen!

[Wade]: What?!

Everyone looks at you with worried expressions.

[Wade]: The RV was stolen?! How? What happened?

Everyone looks concerned and confused.

[Phil]: I don’t know. It should be impossible to take it without me noticing! I would know. I rebuilt her myself.

[Wade]: Where are you right now? Are you ok?

[Phil]: I’m fine. I ran into some friends that can give me a ride. We’re coming to get you now. We should be there in about an hour. And don’t worry, I have a plan to get her back.

[Wade]: Ok, see you then.

You hang up the phone and look up to see everyone’s worried expressions.

[K8-E]: Is everything ok?

[Wade]: Our RV got stolen.

[Olivia]: They took the Rust Bucket?! All my stuff was in there!

[Kirby]: Is it weird that this feels nostalgic for me? It is, isn’t it?

You and everyone else give Kirby a weird look, but you know he doesn’t mean anything by it.

[Wade]: Anyway, grandpa said that he hitched a ride with some friends and that he’s coming to get us. So we’ve got about an hour before he gets here. Let’s try to have some fun before we have to leave.

The four of you decide to do the ring toss since it's pretty close by. Besides, you really wanna see if K8-E is as good as she says she is.

You volunteer to go first and the guy running the stall hands you five rings after you put down some cash. You have pretty decent aim so you manage to get four out of the five onto the bottles that you were aiming for. K8-E starts clapping for you and it makes you feel a bit embarrassed.

[Olivia]: Pssh, whatever. I bet you went for the easy ones. I bet I can get all five.

Olivia talks big, but she only manages to make three out of the five rings that she tossed.

[Olivia]: Man, this game is rigged!

[Kirby]: Those sound like the words of a sore loser to me. Watch a master at work!

Kirby throws all of his rings at once, missing every single one. His eyes go wide and he realizes that he made a fool of himself by trying to look cool.

[Olivia]: Ooh, so masterful~.

[Kirby]: That was a warm-up.

[Olivia]: All five of them?!

While Olivia teases Kirby, you watch closely as K8-E takes her turn. She grabs all five of her rings and wraps them around one finger. What's she doing?

She then proceeds to twirl her finger and flick it forward to toss a single ring at a bottle. The ring lands on the bottle she was aiming for, but you're just impressed by how casually she did this. She continues to do this with the rest of her rings until she's landed all five! Even Olivia and Kirby had to shut up and watch in amazement.

[Wade]: That was incredible! How'd you do that?

[K8-E]: I told you that I was good with my hands. I spend most of my time whittling, knitting and cooking, so I have had a lot of time to practice.

You suggest going to the haunted house and everyone gets hyped. Well, everyone except K8-E, who just seems confused by the concept. When you line up to go in, the attendant informs you that you can only enter in pairs of two. Kirby and Olivia give you a sly grin and simultaneously decide to pair up with one another, leaving you and K8-E by yourselves.

[Wade]: I guess it's just you and me then, huh?

[K8-E]: What is a haunted house?

[Wade]: It's a house that's haunted by ghosts and monsters. Things that can possess you and steal your soul or something.

[K8-E]: There are Ectonurites in there?! These people are in grave danger! We must hurry!

She almost runs off to try and rescue everyone inside, but you quickly grab her arm to stop her.

[Wade]: Whoa whoa whoa! I don't know what you're talking about, but it probably isn't what's going on.

[K8-E]: Forgive me, but I am a very cautious person by nature.

[Wade]: Well if there are any real monsters in there, then I'll protect you.

You extend a hand towards her and she grabs your hand while smiling.

[K8-E]: Thank you. I think I am ready.

The both of you walk inside, to find cob webs and creepy lighting leading you down a dark hallway. K8-E clings tightly to your arm, clearly a lot more worried than you are. You find it hard to be scared of all this fake junk when you've got the Omnitrix. Every time a guy in a costume jumps out at you, K8-E quickly moves behind you. It's pretty cute at first, but it stops being funny when she uses her tail to smack a masked murderer because he jumped out at her. The guy is knocked out cold, so you take the opportunity to run out of there. When you get outside, you can tell that she feels guilty.

[K8-E]: I'm sorry. I have no idea what came over me.

[Wade]: It's ok. You just got a little scared is all. I'm sure that guy will be fine. I should be the one apologizing for making you go in there.

[K8-E]: No, it isn't your fault. I'm still learning about Earth and its customs, so I must dive head first into your alien culture. Please feel free to take the lead whenever I am unsure of something. I'm confident that you will not steer me in the wrong direction.

You share a sweet little moment with K8-E before the others show up. They ask her how she liked it, but she refuses to admit how scared she was.

After you exit the haunted house, you point to the Ferris wheel in the distance.

[Wade]: We should go there next.

[Olivia]: Great! Dibs on Kirby again.

[Kirby]: So that leaves these two love birds together again. Have fun you two. Hope you aren't afraid of heights.

The two of them run towards the Ferris wheel after teasing you. Now it's just the two of you again

[K8-E]: It seems that we are being paired together more often than not.

[Wade]: Yeah, they're just trying to tease us. Try not to let it get to you.

[K8-E]: Oh it's no problem at all. I enjoy spending time with you after all.

She says this without a shred of shame or embarrassment. You can't help but get a bit flustered by her statement.

[Wade]: Come on. Let's go join the others.

You grab her hand and run towards the ride. Once you get there, the worker who manages the controls gives K8-E a double take when he sees her. You try to explain that she's just wearing a realistic costume, but he doesn't seem to buy it. You eventually ignore and push past him to get into a car with your blue buddy. Once the car takes off, K8-E look out the window with a big smile on her face. From the way that her tail is wagging, you can tell she's really excited.

[K8-E]: This is incredible! I had no idea that such slow transport could be this enjoyable.

[Wade]: You've been on spaceships before, haven't you? How could you have fun on these things after you've seen and experienced such amazing things in space.

[K8-E]: It's true that your technology is primitive and your cuisine is a bit lacking. But your technology and culture is still your own. This machine was made by you and you alone. All of this, everything here, was made by an alien species. And that amazes me. I'm still learning about your culture and your customs, but I wish to learn more in the future. I cannot begin to thank you enough for what you have done for me and my family. Not just today, but back then too.

What do you say?

>"You don't have to thank me, and you never will.

[Wade]: Just getting the opportunity to get to know you has been enough. Hopefully humans will one day be able to live peacefully with one another.

[K8-E]: If an alien and a human can get along, then I don't see why humans shouldn't. I'm glad that you're the first friend that I've made on this planet. I hope you will continue being kind to me and every other alien that you might encounter.

[Wade]: And I hope that they'll be as understanding as you.

The two of you get quiet for a moment and appreciate the scenery.

[K8-E]: I've decided.

[Wade]: Decided what?

[K8-E]: I want to help you and your family retrieve your vehicle. I can call the babysitter and tell her that I will be out of town for a few nights.

[Wade]: I won't ask you to fight for us.

[Wade]: Just don't do anything too dangerous.

[K8-E]: I promise to stay on my toes.

[Wade]: Welcome to Team Wakeman.

You extend a hand toward her and she grips it enthusiastically with her clawed hand.

Once you get off the ride, you check your phone to see that Grandpa has arrived. You inform everyone of K8-E's desire to help your family and Grandpa's mysterious friends. You all walk to the front gates of Grizzly World, finally departing this land of wonder and psychotic actors.

When you get outside, Grandpa is there to meet you.

[Phil]: Hey kids, did you have a good time?

His attention is immediately drawn to Kirby, and he doesn't look amused.

[Kirby]: Now way! This is the Phil you were talking about? Phil Billings is your grandfather? This is so crazy!

[Phil]: And who might you be?

[Kirby]: I'm Max's grandson.

Phil looks pissed now.

[Phil]: That isn't funny.

[Wade]: Grandpa, he's telling the truth. He's from another dimension where grandpa lived and had grand-kids.

[Phil]: Then where's his proof?

Kirby pulls out a necklace that looks like a rusty old key of some sort. Phil is visibly shaken and takes a step back. He then takes out a similar looking key.

[Phil]: No...it can't be. It's-

[Kirby]: The same...I know. Grandpa gave it to me because he believed that no matter how far I had fallen, if I looked at this then I could always remember where I came from. He must have really trusted you to give that to you.

[Phil]: Why are you so old?

[Kirby]: It's an alternate future timeline. Emphasis on future.

[Phil]: Is he still alive?

[Kirby]: After all this time he's still kicking. He might even be healthier than I am.

[Phil]: Why are you here?

[Wade]: He said that he wants to be my teacher. He can teach me how to use the Omnitrix.

[Kirby]: "Forced to" would a better way to put it. If I don't help him to defeat his big bad, then I won't be able to go home.

[Olivia]: I can vouch for him too. He's been a great help so far.

Phil looks a bit skeptical, bu then he notices K8-E in the back.

[Phil]: What's she doing here?

[Wade]: She wants to help us find the Rust Bucket.

[Phil]: We could use a Kineceleran's help. But there's one little problem. You'd have to persuade the guys that I hitched a ride from.

[Olivia]: They don't know about aliens?

[Phil]: Well...

[Mr. Yamamoto]: What's taking so long?!

Julie's dad walks out of the RV that you were standing in front of. Now that you think about it, that vehicle did look pretty familiar. But that means...

[Julie]: Hey guys! What's up?

This is gonna be an uncomfortable ride...

During all of the confusion, you managed to get your entire party onto the Yamamoto family RV. Julie's parents are staring at K8-E, and you know that you're gonna have to come up with a half decent excuse eventually.

[Mrs. Yamamoto]: So, you're a foreign exchange student?

[Olivia]: Yeah, she's from uh...Bimkovia! Yeah Bimkovia. It's a really small island of the coast of Ecuador.

[Wade]: Yeah, she has an extremely rare skin condition so she always has to wear this gear to protect her skin. We thought it would be nice to take her out for once.

[Mr. Yamamoto]: Amazing. I've never seen a skin condition this bizarre. And why are your legs bent backward like that?

[K8-E]: It's also a...bone condition?

Julie's mom elbows her husband in the ribs.

[Mrs. Yamamoto]: You'll have to forgive my husband. He doesn't think before he speaks.

[K8-E]: Oh no! It is fine. I am sorry to impose.

Her tail slips out from underneath her dress and her parents look even more bewildered. She quickly moves to hide it, but thankfully her parents don't pursue the matter.

[Mr. Yamamoto]: I am sorry if I came off as rude. Make yourself at home. Julie could use another girl her age to talk to.

K8-E looks like she wants to say something, but she simply nods in silence. Julie's parents start up the RV and hit the road.

[Julie]: So, anyone wanna explain to me who the dinosaur alien and the old guy are?

You sit down with K8-E and Julie to explain what you've been going through the past 2 weeks.

[Wade]: Julie, this is K8-E. I saved her from an alien trafficking ring run by humans a while back. She's trustworthy so I know you two will get along.

[Julie]: Katie, huh? Surprisingly human name for an alien. Nice to meet you.

[K8-E]: It is good to meet you as well. Any friend of Wade's is a friend of mine.

Julie returns her attention to you.

[Julie]: So? Spill it. i don't want you to spare any details.

[Wade]: So, I found out that I'm a clone of my Grandpa's best friend. Also I've had an alien stalker watching me ever since I was born. And my grandpa is space cop.

[K8-E]: You are a clone?! I never knew...

[Wade]: That sort of thing doesn't come up in conversation very often. I would've told you eventually if I thought it was important.

[Julie]: You think being a clone isn't something important that you should bring up? It's only been 2 weeks and I feel like I missed so much! Why didn't you text me about any of this?

[Wade]: Everything was happening pretty fast, and I've been a bit busy with the whole hero thing.

[Julie]: Fair enough. What else have you done?

[Wade]: I fought a witch in New York, made friends with another mutant named Kevin, then I got abducted by human posing as aliens.

[Julie]: Huh?

[Wade]: Well they were humans dressed as aliens, but they were abduction victims that wanted to deport all alien residents on earth. We stopped them and that's how I met K8-E. Oh and I also met another mutant named Alan, but I'm pretty sure he's still grounded so I haven't heard from him in a while.

[Julie]: Ok, can you rewind a bit and explain the whole space cop thing?

[Wade]: They're called "Plumbers", and they protect the galaxy from dangerous threats.

[Julie]: Then why have you fought so many alien criminals? Where were they then?

[Wade]: There's kind of a galactic civil war going on and the Plumbers are getting short-handed. That's where I come in.

[Julie]: So you're single-handedly protecting Earth? That's a pretty heavy responsibility.

[Wade]: Well, I wouldn't say I'm doing it alone.

You look to the rest of your family on the other side of this massive living room.

[Julie]: Hey, don't forget about me.

[K8-E]: And me as well!

[Wade]: Right, how could I forget? I'm lucky to have you two.

They both smile at you. You don't know why you thought this ride was gonna be awkward.

[Julie]: Anything else you wanna get off your chest?

[Wade]: Well I encountered an alien stalker that was the lover of the guy I was cloned from. So she thinks that I'm the guy she loves and she tried to kidnap me and take me on a journey.

The both of them just stare at you with their jaws hanging wide open.

[Julie]: Eww! How old was she?

[Wade]: Really old. But I think she can change her appearance, because she was still pretty attractive.

Julie gives you a weird look, so you try to change the topic.

(Continued in Next Post)
>>
[Wade]: Anyway, I managed to persuade her to wait until after my 18th birthday to come pick me up. I agreed to spend my summer vacation with her, and I get to bring some friends too!

[Julie]: You're going on a trip with your stalker after she tried to kidnap you? That's a horrible idea.

[K8-E]: I agree. Couldn't you have negotiated with her in order to come to a better conclusion?

[Wade]: Maybe, but I don't mind going with her for a little while. She didn't seem like a bad person.

[Julie]: She tried to kidnap you! What if she decides that she doesn't want to return you?

[Wade]: Well I have the Omnitrix and I'm pretty sure my friends and I could take her.

[K8-E]: Just out of curiosity, what was her species?

[Wade]: No idea. She was purple and had bright glowing hair. No other notable features.

K8-E covers her mouth and seems to shudder in fear.

[Wade]: What? Is it bad?

[K8-E]: Wade, that is an Anodite...

[Wade]: What? What can they do?

[K8-E]: It would be quicker to list the things they cannot do.

Ok, now she's got you nervous. Hopefully she'll keep her word. At least you don't have a reason to dread your 16th birthday.

>14 days until your birthday!

Nope, no reason at all.

[Wade]: Well, we'll deal with that problem in 2 years. Aside from fighting a killer clown and a witch doctor, I think that about sums it up.

[Julie]: But what about him?

She points to Kirby.

[Wade]: Oh him? He's from an alternate dimension where he had the Omnitrix instead. He's here to teach me how to use it.

[Julie]: Cool! What has he taught you so far?

[Wade]: Well, nothing so far. But I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

Julie raises an eyebrow at your disheveled teacher.

[Julie]: Well if you say so.

[Wade]: What have you been up to?

[Julie]: Same old same old. My parents don't let me do much whenever we visit another state, so I've just been spending most of my vacation browsing supernatural forums. I wanted to see if there were any recent sightings anywhere nearby.

[Wade]: You know most of those are fake, right?

[Julie]: Yeah I know, but there's some interesting stuff on there too. Apparently there have been a lot of sighting of some red creature tampering with tractors in the south.

She shows you her laptop and you start to panic a bit when you see the image. It's Malware!! What's he been doing? Hopefully he isn't involved in anything bad again. And there's still Providence to worry about too. You hope that you can find him before they do.

After some more small talk, you all realize that it's gotten late. Julie's parents put Olivia, K8-E and Julie in a separate room, while you and the rest of the guys get your own.

What do you do before you go to bed?

>Mess with the watch outside.

You hear Kirby snoring loudly and shake him to wake him up. He tries to swat at you to get you to go away, but you continue to shake him.

[Kirby]: What do you want, kid?

[Wade]: I want you to teach me something. Anything.

[Kirby]: Sure thing. Lesson one: Heroes need their beauty sleep.

He falls back to sleep. You persist in your efforts to wake him up, and he finally gets out of bed.

[Kirby]: Alright alright. Meet me outside.

You follow a groggy Kirby outside of the RV.

[Kirby]: Ok grandpa, what do you wanna know?

What will you learn from Kirby?

[Wade]: I want to learn how to use magic. I need to be able to defend myself without the watch.

[Kirby]: Good choice! I'm a bit of an expert if I say so myself. Hey honey, can I have the spell-book?

Kirby's ugly bag coughs up an entire spell-book. It only adds to the mystery of that thing.

[Kirby]: Thanks honey bunch! Now, let's teach you the basics. Sit down on the ground and cross your legs.

You do so and close your eyes without him telling you to.

[Kirby]: You're gonna want your eyes open for this, kid. Now I'm going to throw an energy construct at you.

[Wade]: What? Why?!

[Kirby]: This is the easiest way to do it. It's very difficult for a beginner to create their first energy construct. Sometimes it requires years of training. But if I throw one at you and you catch it, you can get a feel for it and it'll be much easier to make it yourself next time.

[Wade]: Shouldn't I be standing for this?

[Kirby]: Probably. Get ready. I need you to focus on containing the energy. Picture yourself catching a bubble, but it won't ever pop. It'll just mold to the shape of your hands. You go it?

What a terrible explanation.

[Wade]: Yeah I think so.

[Kirby]: Good. Brace yourself!

Kirby creates a green orb and throws it at you. You close your eyes instinctively and brace for impact. You realize that you haven't been hit, so you open your eyes to see the orb hovering just above your hands.

[Kirby]: Nice job! It took me a couple of tries to get that right, but you're a natural! Now get a feel for it. Take your time, because it'll take a while to make one of your own.

You close your eyes once more and focus on the orb in front of you. It feels incredibly light, yet very solid. You can feel energy pulsing through your finger tips, and you let that warm feeling fill your entire body.

[Kirby]: Whoa!

You open your eyes to see that the ball of energy has turned purple like your Omnitrix. Is that a good thing?

[Kirby]: Incredible...

[Wade]: What'd I do?

[Kirby]: You've made your own mana orb. It took me days to perfect that! Quick, try to dissolve it and create another.

You relax your fingers and exhale, causing the energy to dissipate. You then try to remember the feeling you had before when you were holding it, and it reappears again!

[Kirby]: You really are a natural! You sure you've never done this before? I'm getting a bit jealous here, kid.

[Wade]: I swear I haven't!

[Kirby]: Well now we can move on to the big stuff!

After learning how to manipulate mana at will, Kirby teaches you how to mold and shape mana. You learn how to create shields, weapons and solid structures like steps and pillars. The session lasts an hour, but you feel like you've learned alot!

>You've learned how to use magic!
>You've learned how to create energy constructs!
>You've learned how to create advanced constructs!

This summer is about to get so much more cool!

So there's been a change of plans. Unfortunately, I won't be able to run today's session. The next session will instead be held on Monday at 4pm. Thanks for your patience.

(And we're back!)

After yesterday’s session with Kirby, you went right to bed since you felt really drained all of a sudden. But he explained that was due to you using a great amount your mana in such a short time. You’ll probably have to be mindful of that during stressful situations. You managed to make your constructs fairly durable, but it still takes a lot out of you to maintain and create one after another. He also told you that you’d get used to it eventually. At least that’s what you gathered from his explanation of a vessel being an invisible muscle that you have to train.

You walk into the living room and notice that Grandpa is waving you over. When you walk over to him, you see a some radar-like device on the table.

[Phil]: Good morning, sport. How’d you sleep?

[Wade]: Like a log. What you got there?

[Phil]: I’ve been tracking the Rust Bucket ever since it was stolen, and we’re getting close. They haven’t been moving for a while, so I think they must’ve stopped to rest like we did.

[Wade]: Any plan for when we confront them? They can’t be common thugs if they stole the Rust Bucket.

[Phil]: Well I think we’ve got enough manpower to scare off whatever yahoo took my baby. And I haven’t seen you lose a fight yet, so I like our odds. We should be on top of them in an hour or so. I’ll let you know when to be ready.

You appreciate how much confidence your grandpa has in you, but you hope that you aren’t getting too cocky. But you have been learning magic, so even if the watch times out, you should be more of a threat.

After getting ready and asking Kirby for another recharge key, you realize that you’ve got a bit of time to kill. What do you do?

>Tell the girls about the plan. If you can call it that.
>Try to talk to Julie’s parents. You’ve never had a proper conversation with them.
>Ask Kirby about some last minute teaching tips.

You walk over to the girls and they appear to be chatting over breakfast. K8-E looks like she's getting along much better with the other girls too. Must be due to the slumber party they had last night. You hear that girls grow closer to each other during those. But then again, that's just something J.T. and Cash told you when they were trying to seem cool.

[Wade]: Good morning.

[K8-E, Ollie and Julie]: Morning!

Man that was kinda weird. How it was all synchronized and stuff.

[Wade]: You all seem very chipper this morning. You guys have fun last night?

[Olivia]: You could say that...

They all start giggling and nudging each other. The hell is going on?

[Wade]: Ok...you guys wanna hear about the plan that grandpa has to get the RV back?

[K8-E]: Oh, do tell.

[Wade]: So we're gonna track them down, follow them and beat them up I think...

They all look at each other in confusion.

[Julie]: That's the plan?

[Wade]: For now, yeah. I don't think grandpa expects these guys to put up much of a fight if we jump them.

[Olivia]: Well to be fair, we make a pretty great team. You being the muscle, me being the brains, grandpa being the backup. And as you know, the body can't function without the brain.

You raise an eyebrow to her statement.

[Wade]: Oh really? And since when did we decide that hierarchy?

[Olivia]: Since last night. I would've invited you to throw in your two cents, but you know how these slumber parties are. "No Boys Allowed."

That's quite some imaginary high horse she's hopped onto there. But you know just how to knock her down a peg!

[Wade]: Oh yeah? Well can the "brains" do this?

You form a purple mana orb over your hand. The girls all jump in surprise when they see you the ball of energy appear in front of them.

[Julie]: What is that?

[Wade]: Magic. Kirby taught it to me. Isn't it cool?

[K8-E]: That's incredible! You learned how to do that in one night?

[Wade]: Well I'm still a novice, but I think I'm getting the hang of it pretty quick.

[Olivia]: Do you think that Kirby could teach me too?

Olivia looks really excited.

What do you say?

[Wade]: I don't see why not. I'll ask him later.

[Olivia]: Yes! I can't believe I'm gonna learn magic! Wait...what if I suck at it?!

She looks genuinely worried. You adopt a smug grin.

[Wade]: Oh? So you don't want to be the brains anymore?

[Olivia]: You can have the role. Being the brains fucking sucks when you can't learn magic! I wanna be the muscle too.

[Wade]: Wouldn't the team be pretty unbalanced without the brains?

[Olivia]: Who cares about a balanced comp? Besides, Julie can be the brains. She's smart.

Olivia starts to look a little embarrassed.

[Olivia]: Again, it's not because you're Asia-

[Julie]: I-I get it, don't worry about it.

You get bored of poking fun at your cousin and decide to make her an offer she can't refuse.

[Wade]:Then why don't we train together? It would be pretty fun with a partner. And we could correct each other on our mistakes. A team with two muscles watching each other's backs can't lose.

[Olivia]: That would be so awesome! Go Team Wakeman?

She extends a hand with her thumb sticking out. You meet her hand with your own, and together your hands form a "W".

[Wade]: Go Team Wakeman!

[Julie]: Pfft, you guys are dorks.

[K8-E]: I think they are adorable.

[Phil]: Wade, we're getting close. Be ready!

[Wade]: That's my cue. Try to stay out of trouble?

They all give you a sly grin. Of course...

[Wade]: Well, it was worth a shot.

You run over to grandpa and see that you are 500 feet away from the vehicle. Both you and him move to the front to tell the Yamamoto's to keep their distance. But what you see when you get there confuses you. Well...it's more like what you don't see.

[Phil]: What's going on? Where is it? It's supposed to be right here.

You look at the radar and see that you're right on top of them. But they're nowhere to be found. When suddenly, you hear a strange noise above you and a giant green battleship lowers itself to face you the Yamamoto RV.

[Baron Highway]: Attention all trespassing scumbags! Leave your vehicle in park and step outside slowly.

[Phil]: That's my baby...

That's the Rust Bucket?! They must've made some major modifications in a short amount of time. The chain-gun on the ship starts rotating. This isn't good...

[Mr Yamamoto]: Do we do what he says?

What do you say?

[Wade]: Not if I have anything to say about it.

You try to quickly think of any alien that can deal with these guys. Zipmunk is the first that comes to mind, and he's never failed you before.

[Wade]: Can someone launch me up there?

[Olivia]: Where would we launch you from?

[Julie]: We have a sunroof built into this RV. It opens up too.

Julie's mom presses a button that open up the sunroof in the living room. How convenient!

[Kirby]: This plan of yours better be good.

Kirby creates a catapult out of mana.

[Kirby]: You're up kid.

You nod and open up your Omnitrix, quickly moving to Zipmunk. You make your selection and slam down hard on the watch. Once you've felt yourself shrink down considerably, you realize that the transformation was successful. You hop into the catapult and give Kirby a thumbs up. In the next instant you are sent flying out of the RV and into the windshield of the hovercraft. You're also pretty sure you heard Kirby yell "pull".

[Baron Highway]: What in tarnation?!

Now that you can see the guys driving this, they kinda look like backwoods hicks. How'd they ever steal the Rust Bucket? You simply smile and wave at them, exposing your sharp buck teeth.

You focus on draining the power from the engine, but something's off. As you feel your way around the technology inside this ship, you feel a wriggling squishy thing inside. It's tech, but it moves as if it were alive. You reach out further and drain the energy from the engine without hurting whatever is in there, and this thing actually moves out of the way to avoid being hurt! The way it moves kinda reminds you of Malware in his goo form. Is this one of those "Galvanic Mechamorph" guys that grandpa was talking about? This one doesn't seem to be as hostile though.

Once you drain the energy, you unleash it back inside the ship, carefully avoiding the creature and discharging the energy at everyone inside. These country thieves are knocked unconscious after being given such a big shock, and the ship begins to fall! You attempt to manipulate the controls from the outside, but the ship suddenly stops mid-air. Is this thing flying itself?

Suddenly, a stray blaster shot hits the hull of the ship. Man grandpa's gonna be pissed...

You look over to a see a very buff man with a mohawk and wearing a tank top. He appears to be driving a very large souped-up monster truck. He's got some other weird looking emo kids with him and they're all armed with laser pistols.

[Fistrick]: Hey bro, sweet ride. Care if we take her for a spin?

What do you say?

You try and reach out to the organism in the ship, hoping that somehow communicate with it by sending radio signals. You only get one word in reply. "Ship."

It's just the same word over and over. Is this some sort of alien language? You don't know if you can get anything out of this guy right now, but you certainly do feel something. It's angry. It isn't directed towards you, but probably towards the guy that shot it. Reading the emotions of a sentient machine is proving to be difficult. Especially when it's speaking a language you've never heard before. Suddenly, the "Ship" leans to the right and you almost fall off, but a laser shot that nearly singes your whiskers whizzes right by you. Did this thing just dodge out of the way? Interesting...

You decide to contact your team about the situation. You use your manipulation of radio waves to call Ollie's cell.

[Olivia]: Wade? What's up?

[Wade]: Do you see the big buff guy in the truck?

[Olivia]: How could I not?

[Wade]: Think you can help me out with them?

[Wade]: Can you send grandpa and Kirby out to provide covering fire while K8-E disarms them?

[Olivia]: No prob. All hands on deck!

She hangs up the phone shortly afterward.

[Wade]: Hey buddy, can I call you that? My friends are in that RV down there and I really need your help. And I'm not asking by reaching into your circuits anymore, I'm asking as a friend.

[Ship]: Ship ship shiiiip.

It speaks aloud this time. Whenever it speaks, the green patterns on the ship light up.

[Wade]: I have no idea what that means. Is that a yes?

He aims his gun towards Fistrick's truck.

[Wade]: I'll take that as a yes! Go ship, go!

You see a blue blur exit the RV and run past Fistrick and his men. Next thing you notice, they no longer have guns. They look incredibly confused by this turn of events.

[Fistrick]: Oh you wanna take my guns?! Fine, guess I'll just have to pull out the big guns!

He smashes a button on his dashboard and the truck begins to transform into a bipedal mech! He starts stomping around in an effort to hit K8-E, but Phil and Kirby begin to shoot at him in order to distract him. While he's busy defending himself from your family, he doesn't notice the chaingun revving up to fire. It unloads a barrage of green plasma that starts tearing it apart.

[Wade]: We need to bring down that mech, even though it's the coolest thing I've ever seen! And I think I know just how to do it. Can you allow me to interface with your technology? I promise I won't hurt you.

[Ship]: Ship ship!

It creates an outlet of some sort. This lil' guy is great! You become pure energy and dissolve into the exposed outlet, flowing freely through ship's circuits. He creates a giant cannon and points it toward the mech. After exploring his body and examining his functions, you realize that there isn't really a safe way to draw energy from him without hurting him. So you get an idea.

[Wade]: Ship! Load me into the cannon!

[Ship]: Ship?

[Wade]: Trust me! I know what I'm doing!

He begrudgingly loads you into the cannon, and you proceed to draw a bit of energy from him without hurting him. You start to focus and unleash all of the built up energy you had stored in your reserves. All of the power starts to make you feel dizzy, but you manage to hang on for a while longer.

[Fistrick]: Buzz off!

You see Fistrick use his massive wrist cannons to destroy the ground around K8-E causing her to trip. He points one cannon toward K8-E and the other toward Kirby and the others in the RV.

[Fistrick]: Time for you to hit the showers, bro...

[Wade]: Now!

He fires the gun straight at the mech's chest, and you are launched at the speed of light. Right before you reach his chest, you unleash all of your energy at once, causing you to pierce straight through him!

[Wade]: PACK ATTACK!!!!!

You completely melt everything that you passed through, creating a smoking crater in his chest. You then crash on the other side of the mech, slamming face first into the ground and bouncing a few times. It takes a few moments Fistrick to even notice what you've done to him. He tries to control the robot, but it starts exploding violently as if it were one of Eggman's robots.

[Fistrick]: What?! I can't believe this!

[Wade]: Hehe...

You giggle to yourself as you nearly pass out from exhaustion. You time out shortly afterwards, and K8-E comes to pick you up.

Fistrick's cronies jump out of the limbs of the robot as it's exploding. Were they piloting it like Voltron? What a stupid thing to do for a car. You notice however that Fistrick refuses to get out of the vehicle.

[Fistrick]: No! Not my baby!

K8-E notices that he hasn't left so she puts you down and runs to save him. As soon as she reaches him, a massive explosion envelops her.

[Wade]: NO!!!!!!

You try to pick yourself up, but the force from the explosion sends you flying in the opposite direction. You couldn't save her...

[K8-E]: Are you ok?

You quickly pick your head up to see K8-E carrying Fistrick.

[Wade]: But you were-

[K8-E]: I can move faster than the human eye, remember?

What do you do?

You say nothing in reply. You simply get up and wrap her in your arms. He hands hang in the air, and it seems like she doesn't know what to do. Eventually, she wraps her arms around you and you pull her closer. You have no idea how long you've been hugging her, but it's probably too long. You also have no idea if and when you should stop, or if she wants you to. But you notice that she's started stroking your hair. Is she trying to comfort you? You guess you seemed to be pretty distressed earlier. She really is good at this sort of thing. But you can't stay stuck to her forever.

[Wade]: I'm sorry about that. I just-

[K8-E]: I know. You were scared. And it's ok to be scared sometimes. I'll try to be more careful. For you, my kids and my new friends.

She turns around and starts waving. You turn around to see everyone staring at the two of you. Olivia is snickering and cheering you on, while Julie seems to be peeking at you from the bottom. Kirby is giving you a knowing look, while Phil runs over to drag Fistrick to the RV.

[Phil]: Not so funny when it's your baby, huh?

You quickly let go of K8-E when you realize that everyone was watching you. K8-E starts to laugh, but you have no idea why.

Grandpa ties Fistrick up to a telephone pole in the blazing hot sun and call Plumber HQ to pick him up. But it seems like he won't be waiting for backup to show up this time. Fistrick

[Fistrick]: You just gonna leave me here?

[Phil]: Yup.

[Fistrick]: It's hot out here, bro! What if I get heat stroke?!

[Phil]: Not my problem. You shouldn't be stealing cars in the first place.

[Fistrick]: Hey man, I paid for that ride fair and square! You interrupted a legitimate business deal.

[Phil]: That was a stolen vehicle. There was nothing legitimate about that deal!

[Fistrick]: Then I want my money back!

[Phil]: Sorry, it'll probably be taken as evidence. I doubt you'll ever see it again.

Phil walks away from Fistrick.

[Fistrick]: Can't I at least get some water out here?

Phil tosses a bottle of water at Fistrick's feet, then proceeds to walk away.

Between Kirby and Olivia, the teasing doesn't ever stop. Julie is being pretty quiet though. She appears to be getting very chummy with the alien that was in your RV. Grandpa is giving him instructions on how to fix and reconfigure some of the Rust Bucket's functions. It appears that some idiot fried the controls and now it needs maintenance. K8-E however is on the phone talking to her kids.

What do you do?

>Talk to K8-E about what happened. Maybe you can explain yourself a bit.

[Wade]: So you see, I didn't hug her with any ulterior motives in mind. I was overwhelmed by an emotional outburst because my friend had nearly died. It's perfectly normal for friends to hug when they overcome a traumatic event.

You hope that you've managed to make a sufficient case for yourself.

[Kirby]: I know it wasn't anything serious, but the way you're trying so hard to explain it is pretty suspicious.

[Olivia]: I think it's pretty cute.

Ugh! You hate the way they play off of each other so perfectly. But you are glad that they get along so well.

[Wade]: Whatever. I don't have to explain myself to you guys. I'm gonna go help grandpa fix the Rust Bucket.

You get up to walk toward the door.

[Olivia]: Because you broke it?

You flinch and turn around to look at your ruthlessly savage cousin.

[Wade]: For your information, I needed to do that in order to defeat Fistrick.

[Kirby]: I'm not sure that firing yourself out of a cannon was the only way to defeat him, but it sure did look cool.

[Olivia]: Right?! Especially when he called out his attack!

You don't have the energy to waste on these guys, so you walk outside the RV to find grandpa. You catch him fiddling with a holo-pad of some sort, but he smiles and waves you over when he notices you.

[Wade]: how's repairs coming?

[Phil]: Better thanks to our new friend.

He looks over to Ship and Julie playing together. Ship is running in circles like some sort of dog, and it's pretty damned adorable to look at.

[Phil]: Thanks for bringing her back in one piece by the way.

[Wade]: Yeah, but I fried the controls...

[Phil]: The damage ain't permanent. And I'm lucky to have gotten it back at all to be honest.

[Wade]: any way that I can help?

[Phil]: Can one of your aliens speed up the process?

[Wade]: Let me check.

You open up your watch and scroll through your transformation options. You manage to find an alien that you've never seen before, and you try to figure out when you got him. You have no idea what he does, but there's only one way to find out! You slam down on your watch and let the purple flash envelop you.

Oh and it seems that the votes are tied for the Elseworld's thread currently. Both Gwen and Albedo are at 3 so I'll leave the vote open for anyone that hasn't voted yet. But here are the current results.

Gwen Tennyson: Magic P.I.- 3
Albedo: Earth's Protector- 3
Punk Wade- 1

The thread will not take place for a while, so there's still time to vote. If you haven't already voted, feel free to. But if you don't care, don't worry about it.

The other options still currently at 0 are:

Max Tennyson: The Gray Guardian
Ben Tennyson: The Living Omnitrix
Kevin E. Levin: Misunderstood Monster

If something isn't picked, then I will just save it for later.

I'm pretty against the whole harem deal. I'm just waiting to see who wins the "Wade Bowl". I have more than enough waifus to throw into the mix. Especially the inevitable meeting of everyone's favorite frog.

Also thanks for the praise man. I hope to improve as I keep going with this quest.

You smile and slam down hard on your watch, feeling a slight tingling sensation before you transform. You hope this alien is some sort of tech alien like Ship. That’d be really helpful!

You suddenly feel weightless and hollow, like you’re having some sort of out of body experience. You feel like you’re suffocating! Like something is smothering you or restricting you somehow. You look around to examine your surroundings, and you see Grandpa staring at you from below. It appears that you’re hovering a few feet above the ground. You look at your hands and see that your hands are grey with a velvet-like texture, as if you were covered in a sheet of some sort. It doesn’t feel like skin, and that bothers you a bit.

[Phil]: Is that a new one?

[Wade]: I think so. I’ve never seen this guy before.

You speak in a raspy, hushed tone. Almost as if you were whispering every single word.

[Wade]: How do I look?

[Phil]: Honestly, “creepy” is the first word that comes to mind.

You fly down to examine yourself in the Rust Bucket’s rear view mirror, and you see a one-eyed ghost staring back at you. The single eye that you have seems to freely travel around your body as you inspect yourself. Your Omnitrix is lodged in your chest, but it feels like there’s something more underneath. You dig your hand around in the folds of your skin, only to feel slithering tentacles wrapping around your arm. You quickly pull your hand out and shudder at the thought of what you really look like underneath that layer of skin.

You test out this alien’s abilities a bit while Grandpa keeps a close eye on you.

[Phil]: Be careful, Wade.

[Wade]: Yeah yeah, I know.

That hollow feeling you had from before overtakes you once more, and you phase right through the RV! You also appear to be a bit transparent. People would probably have trouble seeing you in this state. You experiment a bit with those tentacles from before, using them to pick up objects of considerable weight with ease. This alien is pretty cool!

You exit the RV and fly high into the air to look for your grandpa to show him what you can do, but you only find an angry Kirby standing beside him.

[Kirby]: Come down here right now!

What do you do?

>”Make me, old man.”

[Wade]: What's got you so worked up?

You fly down to the ground see you can meet him at eye level. He bumps his fist against you Omnitrix and forces you to time out. Wait, how'd he do that?!

[Wade]: What's your deal? I was just trying out a new alien.

[Kirby]: Not that alien. Never that alien.

He grabs hold of your watch and starts inputting some type of code.

[Kirby]: There. I locked the transformation so you can't use it. Not even by accident.

[Wade]: But why? What's so dangerous about him?

[Kirby]: Hopefully nothing this time around, but it's just a precaution. I don't wanna take any chances.

He starts walking back to the Yamamoto RV. You've never seen him get that angry before. Then again, you've only known him for about a day.

[Phil]: Don't take it too hard, champ. He's gotta have a reason for doing that.

You hope so. That was kinda freaky.

You spend about 2 or three helping grandpa fix the Rust Bucket. You didn't know much about what you were doing, but he guided you through it. The process was later sped up by Ship merging with grandpa's toolbox and following his instructions. Once you're both satisfied with the work that you've done on the RV, you wipe the sweat from your brow and retire to the Yamamoto RV. Grandpa tell you that he'll handle the rest while you cool off for a bit.

>Handiness increased! You feel as if you might level it up soon!

You see Kirby chatting with Julie's parents, Olivia looking something up online, and Julie and K8-E are petting ship.

What do you do?

You decide to wait until Kirby is done with his conversation, so you go on your phone to occupy yourself. What Kirby said bothers you, because it might mean trouble in the future. You know that he's from an alternate timeline, but he's more or less experienced events that have yet to come. If he knows something, then it'd be better if you get him to spit it out!

After a few minutes, he gets up and walks over to where you're sitting. You notice that the Yamamoto's look very troubled by what he just told them. You put away your phone and try to get his attention.

[Wade]: Hey, can we talk about what happened earlier?

Kirby sighs and sits down next to you.

[Kirby]: Look kid, I'm sorry about before. I lost my cool and I had no right to yell at you.

[Wade]: Why'd you get so mad? Is there something wrong with that alien?

[Kirby]: In my timeline, that alien nearly killed me and my family more times than I can count. I called him Ghostfreak since it seemed fitting, and he was one of my strongest aliens. His species are known as Ectonurites, and their DNA holds all of their memories since they were born. Each individual strand of DNA has the memories of its owner. Even the DNA in that watch. When I was a kid, he jumped out of the watch and tried to possess me. And he almost did, but I discovered that he's weak to sunlight. For a long time I lost the transformation, but I didn't care. I never wanted to become Ghostfreak ever again. It's just not worth it. And I don't want to see you make the same mistake as I did.

[Wade]: So...the watch is haunted?

[Kirby]: Kinda. He's still conscious in your watch, but I have no idea if your Zs'Skayr is like mine.

[Wade]: Zs'Skayr?

[Kirby]: It's the name of the alien that's in your watch. I think. He was the one in mine. To be honest I'm not sure if the one in your watch is evil, or if it's even Zs'Skayr in the first place.

[Wade]: What if he's a good guy?

[Kirby]: It's not impossible, but I don't want to risk it. Just trust me on this, ok?

[Wade]: Ok, I won't try to use him.

Not that you could anyway.

[Wade]: By the way, what were you talking to Julie's parents about?

[Kirby]: Oh that? I explained the existence of aliens to them. They didn't take it too well, but they'll have to get over it.

[Wade]: Was that really a good idea?

[Kirby]: They had to learn sometime. I'm guessing you already told Julie a while back?

[Wade]: How'd you know?

[Kirby]: Just a feeling. Some things don't change no matter which dimension you go to I guess.

You raise an eyebrow to his statement, but he decides not to go into detail. You feel a rush of air go over your head and turn around to notice that K8-E has run over to you.

[K8-E]: Can we talk outside?

[Wade]: Sure thing.

You both walk outside and you notice how anxious K8-E looks.

[K8-E]: I must return home to my children. Our sitter has had an emergency and she needs to leave early. I am sorry that I need to leave so suddenly.

[Wade]: It's fine, don't worry about it. You've already helped out enough.

[K8-E]: But-

[Wade]: Just go make sure that your kids are ok. And text me when you make it home.

[K8-E]: Ok, I will. And I'm sure that they will be thrilled to hear of your heroic deeds.

[Wade]: Make sure to embellish a little to make me look good, ok?

She laughs at your joke and you feel a small sense of pride welling up within you.

[Wade]: But I am gonna miss having you around. Maybe we can hang out again sometime?

[K8-E]: And I will miss you as well. I am sure we will have more opportunities to meet up again. Until next time, Wade.

You look around for a moment, just to make sure that there isn't anyone spying on you. When you confirm that no one is looking, you go in for a quick hug and she returns it by wrapping her slender arms around you.

[Wade]: Until next time.

She smiles warmly and she's gone in the next instant, running at top speed down the road.

After she's gone, you find Kirby in the RV and pull him aside.

[Kirby]: Hey, that was quick. No pun intended.

[Wade]: She was just saying goodbye. Her kids need her back home.

[Kirby]: She has kids? She must be older than I thought she was. You must be really into Milf-

You interrupt him before he can even finish the sentence.

[Wade]: Moving on! I wanted to know if there was any way to safely communicate with Ghostfreak. I want to see if we can reason with the guy.

[Kirby]: He's the not the reasonable type. I would know.

[Wade]: But that was your universe. What if this one is different? If we're wrong here then we just condemned this guy to a life of solitude in my watch for something that he might not even do. Not cool Benjamin Kirby Tennyson! Not cool at all!

You give him the same stern glare that grandpa would give you to make you feel guilty. He looks a bit agitated that you used his full name.

[Kirby]: Geez kid, are you my grandpa or my mom?

You don't let up with your stern glare and he eventually gives up.

[Kirby]: God, fine! There's only one way to talk to him, and that's to become him. You'd need to use the transformation several times and pray that he doesn't want to kill you and enslave humanity!

[Wade]: So just use him an he'll talk to me?

[Kirby]: No, you have to literally become him. He'll get into your head and you'l start to think and talk like him. Eventually, he'll split off from the Omnitrix and take his DNA sample with him.

[Wade]: Sounds easy enough.

[Kirby]: No, it isn't. You have no idea what this guy is capable of. If this goes bad, then the damage would be severe. he might actually end up killing you.

[Wade]: We have to try. I won't just assume someone or something is evil without evidence.

He stares at you for a moment and sighs deeply.

[Kirby]: You've got a good heart kid. I just hope it doesn't get me killed. It's your universe, so we'll play by your rules. but the moment things look dangerous, we're pulling out. Agreed?

You decide to ask your family and friends for their opinion on what you should do. You call everyone to the RV and explain the situation to them.

[Olivia]: So you want to let a potentially dangerous alien ghost possess you?

[Wade]: It's more complicated than that.

[Kirby]: It really isn't.

[Julie]: I don't like the sound of this. What if you let it loose and you can't beat him?

[Wade]: I'll have you guys to help me with that.

[Phil]: That might not be enough. I don't know too much about Ectonurites, but if this one can take over your body, then it probably won't be worth it. What if he takes control of you and uses the Omnitrix? Then no one would be able to stop him.

[Wade]: So you think we shouldn't do it?

[Phil]: Honestly, no.

[Julie]: Same here.

[Olivia]: I don't like this plan, but I trust you. If you think helping him is the right thing to do, then I'll support you.

You can't help but smile at Olivia for her faith in you.

[Kirby]: That's 2 to 3. What's the verdict?

[Julie]: Wait! You forgot to count Ship.

Julie pulls out her phone and it looks like Ship is augmenting its technology. You hear her ringtone go off and Julie starts reading a text.

[Julie]: He says he trusts you Wade.

Aww, what a loyal little guy!

[Kirby]: Fine, then it's tied 3 for 3. Any other suggestions?

[Wade]: Maybe when we find Azmuth we can ask him where he got the Ectonurite DNA sample.

[Kirby]: First of all, I gathered that we have no idea where Azmuth is, so that's out of the question. Second of all, in my timeline Zs'Skayr snuck aboard the Omnitrix by possessing another alien that had it's DNA sampled. Azmuth is a bit weird, but he would never take a risk by sampling an Ectonurite. Which means that whatever this thing is, it doesn't belong in your watch.

[Wade]: Well what if we get Max's girlfriend to help? She'll probably show up on my 16th birthday, maybe we'll ask for her help then.

[Kirby]: Well that's all fine and dandy, but that's 2 weeks away from now. We need an immediate solution to this problem. Do we lock him up for the time being or allow him to be used as a transformation?

Everyone looks to you, even Ship.

What do you do?

>Unlock Ghostfreak and try out his transformation.

[Wade]: Fine...I'll keep him locked. But only until we can speak to Verdona or AZmuth.

Everyone breathes a sigh of relief at your rational decision. Phil places his hand on your shoulder.

[Phil]: I know you've got a big heart, son. But you can't always think with your heart. Because one day, someone's gonna take advantage of your kindness.

You give grandpa a weak smile and go sit down at a bench in the living room. You don't intend to give up just yet. You spend the next couple of minutes trying to find a function in the Omnitrix that might help. Something that can identify the owners of DNA samples maybe? After tinkering with it for a while, you find no such thing. You did however find that your watch has a built in digital clock. Neat...

Olivia and Julie eventually come to sit down next to you.

[Olivia]: Grandpa said that the RV is gonna be ready roll out soon.

[Julie]: You guys are leaving already?

[Wade]: Afraid so. I can't do anything about the Ghostfreak situation, so I'm just gonna pretend that he's evil to make myself feel better.

They both look at each other with worried expressions.

[Julie]: No matter what you do, I don't think that you'll be satisfied until you free him and see for yourself. Even if he's most likely evil, he deserves a chance to speak for himself. So when you do release him, promise me that you won't do anything stupid.

[Wade]: I promise.

[Julie]: Good! Don't forget to text me every now and then ok? It gets boring around here real quick.

[Wade]: Sure thing. But I'm pretty sure you're gonna have your hands full with Ship, there.

[Julie]: You're kidding! I can keep him?!

[Wade]: Now remember, having a Galvanic Mechamorph is big responsibility. You have to feed it, walk it and occasionally give it some tech to merge with. Think you can handle it?

Julie has a beaming smile on her face.

[Julie]: You bet I can! We're gonna have so much fun together, Ship!

She hugs her squishy green friend and cuddles it for a while. You're happy that she finally has something interesting to do over the summer. Maybe now her parents won't be so strict with her either. But, you highly doubt that.

You say your goodbyes to the Yamamoto family and wish them luck with their new alien pet. Julie's family didn't look like they were too happy with you or her new pet, but you guess they'll just have to get used to it. You and the rest of Team Wakeman hit the road once more!

>13 days until your birthday!

What do you do in the meantime?

You finally decide to try on your suit! You're so excited that you can barely contain yourself as you unlock Olivia's treasure chest. As soon as you open it, you pause for a moment to appreciate the beauty of your new costume. Olivia even wrapped it in plastic to preserve it. How thoughtful!

You tear off the plastic and equip your suit. It isn't hard to move in, but the long coat might become a bit obstructive at some point. After moving around a bit to make sure that it fits correctly, you realize that it's perfectly tailored to you! Olivia's a real pro! Now for the finishing touches.

[Wade]: Omnitrix, break down my clothes and store them.

[Omnitrix]: Command confirmed.

Purple particles cover your body and break your suit down bit by bit. Hopefully this works right...

[Wade]: Omnitrix, reassemble clothes upon hearing me say this key word.

What key word will you set?

[Wade]: "It's Show Time"

Might as well incorporate your catchphrase.

[Omnitrix]: Key word recorded. Storage successful.

[Wade]: Yes!

Wait, you should probably incorporate a phrase to take your clothes off again.

[Wade]: Omnitrix, record phrase to store clothes once again.

[Omnitrix]: Affirmative. Ready to record.

[Wade]: "Show's Over!"

[Omnitrix]: Key word recorded.

It's a good thing you thought of that now instead of later. Now that that's done, you should go talk to Kirby for a bit. You could use some advice on how to use this watch. You walk over to where Kirby is relaxing and he opens one eye to peek at you.

[Phil]: What's up, gramps?

[Wade]: I need some advice on how to use the watch. Why do I keep getting random aliens? How do I get new ones?

[Kirby]: Kid, you've gotta understand one thing before you keep using that watch. The Omnitrix is like a refrigerator.

[Wade]: A refrigerator? How?

[Kirby]: If you keep peeking inside, you'll eventually find something new. Something that you either didn't know was in there or something that you forgot was in there.

[Wade]: Soooo....

Kirby sighs and finally opens both eyes.

[Kirby]: Keep on using it and you'll unlock new aliens. If you're a bit impatient, scan an alien with the scan function or collect DNA the hard way.

[Wade]: What's the hard way?

[Kirby]: You've gotta let them scratch the watch. Think of it like a forceful DNA extraction. But I wouldn't rely on that method too often. If you let them get that close, then they can claw your eyes out instead. Just play it safe and be smart. You'll be fine.

[Wade]: Any idea why the Omnitrix picks the wrong alien sometimes?

Kirby rubs his chin for a moment.

[Kirby]: No idea. My leading theory is that the watch thinks it knows better than you do. Sometimes the alien it picks is useless for the situation, and sometimes it's the one you need the most.

[Wade]: So what should I do about it.

[Kirby]: Learn how to use every alien properly. Study their powers, biology and mannerisms. If you master the aliens, you master the watch. Then you'll almost never lose.

[Wade]: Almost?

[Kirby]: hey, what can I say? Some aliens straight up suck!

He closes both of his eyes once more and you take that as your cue to leave. You aren't sure if any of that advice will come in handy, but it must be good for something.

You show your new costume transformation function to Olivia and the two of you geek out for the next few hours. As you leave Alabama, you overhear grandpa chatting with Kirby about going to the "Mississipi petrified forest". You have no idea what it is, but it sounds fun!

For the next few hours you decide to kick back and take it easy...

(Continued in Next Post)
>>
When you arrive at the campsite for the forest, you step outside to stretch a bit. The forest honestly looks much more beautiful than any you've been to so far, which isn't many to be fair. But it is pretty cool how these trees are so old that they've practically fossilized.

[Phil]: Well kids, try not to wander off too far from the campsite. I want everyone back here by 5pm. Understood?

[Wade]: You got it. I wouldn't wanna miss your world famous Sea Otter Souffle!

[Olivia]: Ugh. Do I have permission to get lost in the forest while everyone eats?

[Phil]: Permission denied. Have fun!

He and Kirby wave you off as you go look around.

You both decide to get your picture taken on Cavemen's Bench. After walking along the designated trail for about 15 minutes, you arrive at the bench. Well, calling it a bench would be generous. It's more like a giant curved slab of wood that you can sit on. Despite being in the hot sun, this trunk is cool to the touch. The both of you sit on it and ask another tourist to take your picture on it.

[Olivia]: Is it just me, or does this all feel underwhelming?

[Wade]: Nah it does. Maybe it's because we've been fighting aliens, bad guys and alien bad guys all summer.

[Olivia]: Do you think we're becoming immune to things that would excite normal people?

[Wade]: I think this bench is just plain boring. Why don't we go find our own excitement?

You point towards the wooded area behind you and Olivia smiles and nods at you. You sneak away from the populated areas and manage to hop the fence that separates you from the rest of the forest. The restricted area that you now walk in has trees that look as if they could reach the heavens themselves. They're also 5 times as wide as you are, which is pretty impressive to you. Eventually, the two of you come across a cool looking cave.

[Olivia]: Ooh! What do you think is in it? Treasure?

[Wade]: Maybe a man-eating monster if we're lucky.

You suddenly hear a faint scraping sound, followed by a red flash.

[Wade]: Did you see that?

[Olivia]: See what?

[Wade]: Something's in there...

[Wade]: It's Show Time!

Your Omnitrix reacts to your key phrase and your costume covers your body in a flash of purple light.

[Olivia]: That was so cool!

[Wade]: Shhh! Keep your voice down!

You yell at her in a hushed voice.

[Olivia]: But you yelled first!

She responds in a hushed tone.

[Wade]: That was necessary for my transformation. Now put on your mask and follow me.

Olivia dons her mask and follows you into the cave. Upon further inspection, it's a lot deeper than you thought it would be. The scraping sounds become clearer and the flashes become even brighter as you head deeper into the cave. Eventually, you see a man clad in metallic armor patrolling the depths of the cave. You don't want to start anything just yet, so you decide to go around him and take the high ground. As you go further inside, you see a man wearing knight's armor, a crown and a golden mask. He is surrounded by knights that are wearing armor similar to the one you saw outside. All of them are armed with strange looking guns. It appears that they are drilling into the wall in front of them with a giant laser of some sort.

[Enoch]: What is the status of the drilling?

[Knight]: Lord Enoch, the drilling will take some time. We do not want to harm the specimen.

[Enoch]: I do not care. We will be discovered if this takes too long, and that will...complicate things.

You look at the wall that they are drilling into, and you see something that look some strange dinosaur that you'd see in a video game. It looks like they're trying to extract it.

Oh shit! You never thought of a hero name. Gotta improvise! You feel the stitching on your hourglass mask for a moment.

[Wade]: I am X! Emissary of Hell!

Meh, it works for now.

They all look confused, but some even look a bit terrified! Oh man it's working! Olivia is busy wondering what you're doing.

You ram into a knight and make his armor incredibly heavy, causing him to weigh down the knights behind him. You hear some knight charging you from behind, but they are interrupted by your cousin jumping down and joining the fight. You always forget that she's the better fighter out of the both of you.

She throws her batons and they bounce off of the helmets of the knights and return to her. A knight tries to cut you with his sword while you're distracted, but you parry with your horns and make the sword incredibly heavy. He tries with all his might to lift it up again, but you interrupt him by ramming him towards his companions, weighing them down as well.

[Enoch]: Enough!

The both of you turn to see Enoch tampering with the drill.

[Enoch]: This ends now. Behold, the Beast Glatisant!

He turns the dial on the drill all the way up, and deep red cracks begin to form in the wall. A bright red flash fills the room and blinds everyone present, forcing you all to stop fighting and protect your eyes. When you open them, you see a large bipedal dinosaur like creature, with blue tentacles and glowing orange energy crackling on its scales. Enoch walks in front of the creature while holding a glowing pendant of some sort.

[Enoch]: Obey me! I command thee, obey me!

The creature does not look amused in the slightest. It reaches for Enoch, but he uses another knight as a shield. The knight screams and squirms, victim to the orange energy that dances along the creature's skin. His armor begins to rust, his screams become pathetic moans of agony, and eventually he turns to dust. the creature's attention is now on you.

[Wade]: Oh boy...

The beast growls deeply and begins walking over to you. His claws scrape against the exterior of the laser drill, casing the same red cracks you saw before to form on the drill. The cracks grow and spread wildly, before the drill explodes in a burst of light. The knights begin shooting at the creature as Enoch escapes, but it they don't seem to be hurting it much at all. The beast swipes at them with its claws and tail, knocking them unconscious with ease.

There's no use fighting this thing head on, since none of your attacks would work on it anyway. You compose a beautiful melody using you sonar, and it echoes throughout the cave. The rampaging beast begins to slow down and his movements are becoming very sluggish. It tries to resist, but not even this ancient creature can resist your sick beats. Everyone backs away as it doubles over and closes its eyes. You breathe a sigh of relief as you hear the now subdued beast snoring loudly.

You decide to remain faithful to your role as an emissary of hell.

[Wade]: As you can see, my brother is weary. I'll be carrying him back to the flaming pits of Hell.

You and Olivia walk over to the creature and examine it. Enoch and his knights let you pass right by them, unsure if what you're saying is true. The energy that was crackling off of his skin has calmed down a bit, but it's still noticeable. You touch your Omnitrix a bit and activate the DNA scanner, allowing an orange light to pass over the creature's body. The Omnitrix beeps in a strange way that you've never heard before.

[Omnitrix]: Error: DNA collection failed.

Huh?! That's never happened before. Coyote's case was unique, but you have the entire monster here right in front of you this time. It is an alien right?

[Olivia]: What's wrong?

[Wade]: No idea. The watch has never done this before. It usually scans aliens without any problem.

[Olivia]: Well, maybe it isn't an alien?

[Wade]: Then what is it?

Olivia simply shrugs. You turn around to address the knights.

[Wade]: I will return to collect my brother shortly. In the meantime, you are to leave this cave and never return. If you disturb his slumber once more, the consequences will be DIRE...

You use your powers to increase the volume and bass of your voice, causing it to echo loudly throughout the cave.

Enoch and the rest of the knights are clearly shaken, not doing much of anything to stop you as you and Olivia make your escape. You and your cousin high five each other as you run away from your assailants, only to run into something else at the cave entrance. He appears to be a giant man in a silver armored suit. Beside him is a knight clad in red armor, but he seems a bit slimmer than the rest. And behind him is a small army of knights, and each of them carry laser rifles similar to the ones you saw inside of the cave.

You emit a high-pitched noise with your sonar, and continue to steadily raise the pitch in order to find the frequency of his suit. Or at least it's circuitry. As you're testing it out, you realize that there's something in his suit that you don't recognize. It's emitting a frequency that you simply don't recognize at all. You notice that he's about to fire some sort of beam, so you quickly use your sonic blast to short out his visor. At least with that disabled he can't hit you with any devastating ranged attacks. He recoils from the attack, and the laser that would've hit you hits the cave wall to your left instead.

The ninja jumps at you with his energy blades.

You dig your hands into the ground and create crystal structures underground that lead to where Olivia is standing. Then ninja rotates his hands at incredible speeds and creates a deadly whirlwind of razor sharp plasma, but your crystal pillars catch him off guard and send him flying toward the silver knight. When they're right next to each other, you create a crystalline prison that looks more like an overlapping Tipi. You can feel them desperately trying to break through, but youv'e reinforced it enough to keep them in there for a few minutes. The other knights just slowly back away as they try to shoot through the structure that you've made.

Suddenly, you hear a hissing noise coming from behind you. When you turn around, you see the rocks that were once blocking the entrance of the cave, are blown away with great force. After the smoke clears, Enoch walks through the smoldering crater that he'd created with a large laser rifle.

[Enoch]: Always nice to have a backup drill.

He looks over to the crystal enclosure that houses the other two knights.

[Enoch]: I'll have to thank you for helping me to avoid a very uncomfortable confrontation. But now I will be taking my leave, with the "Questing Beast" of course.

A bunch of armed knights pour out of the cave behind him.

What do you do?

>Close off the cave with the remaining knights and that weird creature.
>Destroy their guns with diamond projectiles.
>Create a crystal infused shock-wave to throw them off of their feet.

[Wade]: Don't you guys ever give up?!

[Enoch]: Forever Knights never surrender.

Enoch and the other Forever knights train their guns on you, but you quickly raise your hands toward them and fire off a volley of diamond shards that destroy their weapons. Enoch blocks the projectiles with his drill, causing it to break in the process. Some of them try to back away from you and go back into the cave, but you dig your hands into the ground and create a crystalline wall to block off the knights from the creature. You're pretty sure that their were a few more in their, so you hope that they don't wake up that monster.

[Wade]: Any other bright ideas?

The lesser knights seem to have had their wills broken after seeing you overpower their leaders. Enoch however, pulls out a sword and screams in fury as he charges at you.

What do you do?

>Form diamond swords and have a good ol' fashioned sword fight between you, Enoch and Olivia!

As Enoch's sword is about to make contact with your chest, you step aside and let him go right past you. He turns around to strike once more, but a crystalline wall forms in front of him. He attempts to move past it, but walls are erected to his left and right as well. He desperately attempts to escape in the one gap behind him, but he is one second too late. You could've erected them all at once, but you wanted to mess with him a bit.

You turn around to look at the other knights, but they've already raised their hands in order to surrender. You eventually time out, much earlier than you would've expected, and wait for Kirby and Phil to arrive. After about 20 minutes, they arrive with weapons in tow. The strange thing is that your watch still hasn't recharged.

[Phil]: Kids! Everyone ok?

[Wade]: We're fine. We accidentally ran into these guys while we were exploring.

[Kirby]: And you wait until the fight was over to call for backup?

What do you say?

[Wade]: There was no time, and I had to make some pretty quick decisions on short notice. And I tried to get help, but the guys in that teepee cut us off.

He looks over to the diamond teepee and stares at it as if he was admiring your handiwork.

[Kirby]: I don't know what that means. But try to make a habit out of radioing in to your team. It helps in the long run.

[Wade]: Noted, but I was under a lot of stress. If I hadn't done what I did, the Kaiju I trapped in the cave would be walking around the campsite!

He and Phil look over to the cave entrance covered by crystal, and they look back at you with skeptical looks on their faces.

[Kirby]: I still don't know what that means.

You sit down to explain what happened before they showed up. Sometime during the explanation your Omnitrix recharges.

[Kirby]: You fought the Forever Knights?! Man I haven't seen those guys in years! Do they still suck?

[Olivia]: I'd say so. We mopped the floor with them!

[Kirby]: I guess some things never change no matter which dimension you go to.

Kirby looks awfully nostalgic upon hearing you recount your tale.

[Kirby]: From the sound of it, you've got Enoch in the smaller teepee, and Driscoll and Forever Ninja in the bigger teepee. But I'm surprised that they all showed up here!

[Phil]: We should be grateful. We carved a big chunk out of the Forever Knights forces today. Maybe now we can finally draw out the remaining Forever Kings. I'll call some backup to pick them up.

[Wade]: Don't forget the Kaiju.

[Kirby]: I'll believe it when I see it.

You can't wait to see his face when he sees that thing sleeping in the cave!

You lay down on your back and take a breather while you wait for the Plumbers to arrive. You're getting pretty good at this whole hero business lately. You've earned the right to rest easy for a while. You slowly close your eyes to relax for a moment.

Meanwhile...

Hope settles into a dingy room with a lumpy spring mattress and rotting wooden floors. Heavy rain slaps against her window and leaks through her roof, dripping from a moldy imprint. She clutches her father's grimoire tightly, and a tear rolls down her eye for a moment. Suddenly, the sound of the rain is no longer audible and she feels a chill creep up her spine. When she turns around, she sees a blind woman with white hair and a beautiful gown.

[Hope]: Who are you?

[Mother]: I'm your mother. I'm everyone's mother. And I'm here to take care of you.

Mother creeps closer.

[Hope]: Go away!

Mother suddenly stops and her smile falters for a moment.

[Mother]: I can see that you are upset, but just know that I can take you away from here. I can grant you unlimited power! We can protect you, me and my new allies.

Hope turns away from mother and closes her eyes.

[Mother]: And...I can reunite you with your beloved Uncle Hex.

Her eyes open in surprise, and she considers turning around to look at her.

[Hope]: Just...go. Please. I want to be left alone.

Mother is no longer smiling. Instead she adopts a much more serious expression.

[Mother]: As you wish...my love.

In an instant, she's gone and so is the uncanny silence that she brought with her. Hope kneels down onto the floor and lets a wave of emotion wave over her. Her desperate cries are drowned out by the pitter patter of heavy rain.

Session Ended

Thanks for Playing! Hope you guys enjoyed the session!

The next session will be held on Wednesday, and it will be in a new thread. Sorry for the long wait, but I'll be busy for a couple days.

That's fine, I'm just happy I made it for this session. Also that wasn't sure what to expect from the epilogue, but I'm surprised Mother managed to get free

I'm glad that you could make it too. Also, Mother had a bit of help getting out of her cell.

I'll be archiving this thread tomorrow by the way.
