Welcome everyone my first attempt at a Quest. While I have done things like this on other platforms and DnD, this will be my first on 4chan with an entire group controlling one poor bastard.

You guys are controlling a Master of a Holy Grail War from Fate. We will be building him through a series of votes, trying to figure him out. We start with with a base and work up from there.

Examples
>Sebastian the Mercenary. Specializing in Spatial Magic and modern weapons, he teleports bomb and himself across the battlefield, gaining the upper hand in a sneak attack and assault. He runs around with Arthur Pendragon attempting to win.

>Magos Tech-Priest of Mars who stumbled across a Master and usurped his place. He is looking to bring all information from modern day to the Adeptus Mechanicus after a mishap with Chaos. He is trying to learn what he can from his Servant, Frankenstein's Monster, while he stalks for his next prey.

>Tom the Construction Worker. He was a normal man doing an honest days work until he found a guys corpse. Now a Servant to a Servant, will he and Medb win the war?

Rules:
>1. I have final say in shit.

>2. We will be rolling with a 1d20 for actions. I’m just use to them thanks to my career as a DM.

>3. I aim to have updates fast since I will only host for a day, so expect maybe 15-20 min between them.

>4. Combat will be written to consist of “3 rounds” based on the tactic chosen. You guys will understand once I start writing them.

>5. There will be times I ask for an amount of actions. Assume the highest rated actions will be chosen unless it conflicts with rule 4.

>6. I expect to see some great recommendations, so if something's very smart or funny, I will host a 5-10 min revote.
>>
I will be changing devices alot so depend on my user name not ID

Anyways, what is this guy?

I should mention CC will last about an hour per choice just because we arn't doing shit yet. Take your time and chat/ask questions.
>>
>>3106392
Ok, a few questions going forwards.

Are you basing this on one of the canon HGWs? If so, which one?
Are you sticking to canon servants? Will we get to choose or will you pick based on the character we make?
Will this solely be Fate or can we expect stuff from the rest of the Nasuverse?
>>
>>3106400
You will be choosing it from already done wars, but I admit leaning to Apocrypha just to watch them all die. Grail will be infested basted on which one.

Canon Servants, including Fate/GO and I'm thinking of letting you guys pick the class and I will take suggestions on what those should be.

Solely Fate unless you chose Person in Wrong Universe. In which case he brings in stuff from that universe but is subject to Nasuverse concepts like Prana. Example is a Magos can manipulate machines but has no prana unless hes a psyker.

It won't. Shirou and the Serial Killer both summoned Servants without Mana. Frankenstein does not need Mana to live and fight thanks to gavanism
>>
Question!

How do I roll dice in this format? Sorry, first time participating in a quest and all.
>>
>>3106587
dice+xdy in options
>>
>>3106584
I thought they both just had super low mana which is why Saber had a handicap in the beginning and why Assassin had to eat hearts.

>>3106587
dice+(number of dice)d(number of sides)
so since we're doing 1d20 it's dice+1d20 and you put that in the options field.
>>
>>3106594
More or less. They could still be summoned though and last a few days.
>>
Rolled 20 (1d20)

>>3106584

TECHNICALLY (and I don't wanna be a rules lawyer or too annoying, so ignore if if you want. This is your quest, after all) Technically, Shirou DID have some prana, if only very little. Plus, the Serial Killer didn't actually summon Caster, he just found her after she severed he contract with her previous Master and anchored to existence with his... jizz.

Man, Nasu is a weird guy.

>>3106594
Like this?
>>
>>3106600

Man... I just wasted a Crit.

Sorry guys...
>>
>>3106600
Right, for some reason I was thinking of Jack the Ripper's master. Yeah Caster in Zero's master found that book on his property right? Chances are he comes from a magus family and had some recessive circuits. Still would have needed the jizz to keep going. Bet killing that kid right away helped too.

Still I feel like starting off with no prana would be a death sentence or at least cripple our servant at best but it's RED's quest so eh.
>>
>>3106613

Wait... OH! Serial Killer was referring to the master of Caster of Fate/Zero! I thought it was referring to Madea's second Master and shit.

Sorry,>>3106584 , mental fart.

While I am a little sad Magos did not win, you guys have some good ideas already coming up. Give me a moment and I will set up the next choice, Magecraft!
>>
>>3106389
Mage:
You are a proper magi that aims to use the cup for something, you have not really thought of it yet. What was your specialty of magecraft?
>Time Manipulation: You can slow and speed up time of yourself and other things. While you can never skip or reverse time, you have accidently skip about 60 years in your experimentation. Don’t expect to be using this often.

>Counter Magic: You are an asshole to the magus community. While everyone aims to make mysteries you aim to destroy them with skill and finesse. These are fairly cheap to fire off.

>Spatial Manipulation: You can manipulate reality that allows you to move things between locations. The limits are that you can move things of the same mass, up to 500lbs., and the distance cannot be anymore than a mile. While “cheap”, its cost grows based on the amount of material.

>Evocation {Insert Element}: You can control a certain element to its max. From being able to do small party tricks to forcing an entire room to your will, you are a living storm. This is basic magecraft and has a moderate cost.

>Runecraft: You can perform basic enchantments and lay runes filled with magic. This is beginner stuff, but you have learned how best to use it and made a name for yourself. This is cheap shit and can be easily stored/engraved into stuff.

>Witch: You are very proficient with curses and minor necromancy. Many see this as a useless craft as it has more uses other than research. Comes with a variety of spells that have varying costs

>Whatever else you guys can come up with. If you are going to use something with a source please link it.

There are tons of option. We will select the finalist unless its a landslide for something. Sounds like Runecraft(TM) is on its way.
>>
>>3106646
How about Dollcraft? Kinda like Touko Aozaki?
>>
>>3106646

>Runecraft
>>We enchant guns and bullets. And probably a nice three piece suit.
>>
>>3106646
>>Runecraft: You can perform basic enchantments and lay runes filled with magic. This is beginner stuff, but you have learned how best to use it and made a name for yourself. This is cheap shit and can be easily stored/engraved into stuff.
Runes laddie.

>>3106655
>no rune sword

>>
>>3106646
>Counter Magic: You are an asshole to the magus community. While everyone aims to make mysteries you aim to destroy them with skill and finesse. These are fairly cheap to fire off.
>>
>>3106652
Yeah, I'm aware. It's an option and if others are interested I'll place it in finals.

You are going to have plenty of replacement parts for all those limbs you will be losing I guess. Good foresight.
>>
>>3106646
>Runecraft

>>3106655
I'm all for enchanting guns and bullets, but let's do better than a three piece suit. I like the idea of enchanted bullet proof vests and MOPP suits much better.
>>
>>3106660
Allright then. Going for hard
>Dollcraft
Because there's no if to when we'll get damaged in this war, it's when. And it's better to have spares that are better than or equal to our limbs for when we lose them.
>>
>>3106662
We need to enchant every piece of a car and turn it into a magic battering ram.
>>
>>3106678
The only way I could be more behind this is if we did it with a tank.
>>
>>3106646

>>3106659
changing vote to >>3106671
>>
>>3106678
>>3106685

I SECOND THIS MOTION! Both of them!
>>
>>3106685
While I like your enthusiasm I don't think a tank would be very inconspicuous. Unless we can rune it up to look like something else.

>looks like a Charger but drives like an Abrams
>>
>>3106697
Well, there are some tanks that its entirely legal for a civilian to own, and potentially even drive around in. They tend to be older ones, like the Shermans that got sold off after WWII, but I think there's room to do something interesting even with those.
>>
>>3106685
I will be considering giving you all a budget. With the right backing, well Master of Mordred got a jet.
>>
>>3106706
>>3106708
Actually (and I'm not nearly well enough versed in Nasuverse lore to know if this is even possible, let alone a good idea), if enchantment is a family specialty, what's to say our family hasn't been enchanting and passing down the same tank for 2 or 3 generations at this point?
>>
>>3106706
Was considering other masters. I suppose if we load it up right it could survive being an obvious target and easily traceable target but even so a quick master kill for the price of a tank is a good deal.
>>
>>3106713
It'd be possible technically, but most mages tend to go for subtly when making Mystic Codes, since the way that magecraft works is that the less people that knows how it works, the better it works.
>>
>>3106646
>Runecraft
>>
>>3106718
I know mystery is an important thing, but I thought they'd need more specific knowledge than just that its a magic tank before there started being problems. If so, I do think there's an advantage to be gained from operating outside the bounds of what's "normal" for mages, so as to present our opponents with a problem they lack the context to deal with.
>>
>>3106718
Simply have it fire giant lasers than. No one knows how those are made in all timelines (Non go past 2001)
>>
>>3106736
>>3106735
Well, then it'd boil down to it's simply knowing it's a type of transformation, but then, for it to effect something like a tank it'd need tons of magic circuits, and if a family was around for 2 or 3 generations they might not have the amount to get it, and if it's older they simply might have better mystic codes.
>>
>>3106741
If you guys don't mind losing a little power on the runes (Such as no magical traps) you could maybe rune>Puppets. I think the puppets get magic circuits if I'm not mistaken.
>>
>>3106745
A good set of abilities would be:
>Enchant Items (Enchants up to the item's value)
>Make false circuits(Useless in combat but powers up enchants)
>False Limbs
>Active Simple Runes (Such as "Find" or "Fire")
>>
>>3106745
You mean make the tank a Rune Puppet? I'll back that. Rune puppets sound neat.
>>
>>3106751

Agh... Is the one that makes things stronger in our list? If yes, then I second the motion.
>>
>>3106751
>>3106755
Yeah, that's the idea. You basically enchant things to operate on their own with minor buffs such as better piercing and better armor. Then you operate it manually or through puppets.

How do you drive a 5 man tank, strings.
>>
>>3106751
>>3106759
I like this idea.
>>
>>3106646

Changing my vote, then:
>Rune Puppets. For when normal puppets are not bad-ass enough.
>>
>>3106646

>>3106762
In case this wasn't explicit enough, my vote is also changing to:
>Rune Puppets
>>
>Rune Puppets. For when normal puppets are not bad-ass enough.

Runic puppets sound absolutely bonkers. I'm in.
>>
>>3106646
Seems we have a decision. It was either going to be Runes or Puppets, but a majority will take the:

>Rune Puppeter! Our Protagonist has chosen to manipulate items as much as possible. He can perform minor upgrades through Runecraft and operate machinery through Puppetcraft.

> Learning all these its assumed he might be a merc or from some family obsessed with war. Maybe the Holy Grail War is the ultimate battle to him to test his families century of work.

Note: Since we are mainly talking tanks, Imma assume you guys are going Apocrapha. Kind of can't drive a tank through Fyuki
>>
>>3106787
I myself have no interest in the tank memes. Also, do the holy grail wars from /go count or naw?
>>
>>3106789
It's a nah. Those don't have the structure I'm looking for. Kind of weird if a tank was driven through babylon.
>>
>>3106787
>Note: Since we are mainly talking tanks, Imma assume you guys are going Apocrapha. Kind of can't drive a tank through Fyuki

Is that a challenge I hear?!

But really, I don't particularly care what war we're in.
>>
>>3106790
Gotcha. And what about the moon grail wars?
>>
>>3106787
Apocrypha would be fun, we'll probably be a little less metagamey in that war than in Fuyuki.

>>3106790
Dammit now I want to drive a tank through Babylon.
>>
>>3106787
Now that we know your craft, we need to know how you fight. While a majority want to go Kirie Kotomine and drive a tank, something might spark an interest in you all.

>I only need my magic (Extra Spells)

>Guns, Bomb, and a Tank

>Swords, arrows, and warhammers

>Maybe your a homunculus or Dead Apostle

>Other ideas?

I will make a trump card based on your choice. You guys are talking about a tank anyways so that's an example.
>>
>>3106797
Wrong reference. I meant Kiristigue Emyia.
>>
>>3106797
>>Maybe your a homunculus or Dead Apostle
I fucking love this idea so much, especially since the Dead Apostle have their own type of bullshit and it's amazing.
>>
>>3106797

As much as I like the idea of being a vampire...

>Guns, Bomb, and a Tank

FULL ON TOTAL WAR!
>>
>>3106797
>>Maybe your a homunculus or Dead Apostle
>>
>>3106797
I want a tank but the idea of having a Dead Apostle with us is intriguing.

AHHHHHH

I'll go with tank. Wait no. Dead Apostle. We can still use my earlier idea of pimping out a car for hit and runs anytime with our magic but Dead Apostle? I want to know more.
>>
>>3106797
If you guys dont go for guns but Dead Apostle and still want to use them you won't have "Proficiency" in guns, meaning you wont get the +5 I would normally give.
>>
>>3106820
So what proficiency would we get by picking homonculus/dead apostle, something in puppeteering or artificial life?
>>
>>3106820
Also, if you want to go hard mode, I will let you guys have an Apostle who is equal to a Servant. Problem is everyone knows your going to war with them and you are independent.

Basically, your an Asshole who thought the Holy Grail War was a fun time to introduce super tanks you had a better part of a century to craft.
>>
>>3106834
When you pick Apostle/Humonculis, you get tons of mana for one.

Apostle will give you something akin to a minor phantasm but Holy ability's hurry, ALOT.
>>
>>3106792
For the Moon Grail, I don't really know. You definitely have more control over the Servant, but Masters don't fight from my knowledge.
>>
>>3106797
>Dead Apostle
Time to screw shit up.
>>
>>3106835
Then how about the blooded like the Tohno clan?
>>
Or rather someone with Demon ancestry?
>>
Or a psychic mutation?
>>
>>3106881
>>3106886
Pretty sure none of those are around in Nasuverse worlds where the Grail is a thing. Something about the supremacy of humanity.
>>
>Guns, Bomb, and a Tank

I'm a man who sticks to his guns.
>>
>>3106797
So we come to
>Guns, Bimbs, and tank
>Dead Apostle
>Both and your basically a Servant, but everyone knows your there to wreck their shit. Burial Agency thinks you'll get yourself killed so they wont come.

Take the next hour to vote and debate, Ill tally it.
>>
>>3106957
>Guns, Bimbs, and tank
Not that I object to both, I'm not exactly one for subtlety, but Dead Apostles have never been a part of the setting that particularly interested me.
>>
>>3106957

>Dead apostle
>>
>>3106957
I'll keep my vote for dead apostle. We'll have enough clout that we could start some intrigue with the other masters. We could turn them into slaves or just catch them between the hammer of our servant and the anvil of our runes.
>>
>>3106957
I'm still down for Dead apostle. Allthough now it comes down to what holy grail war we'll be in. If we show up in the Fuyuki holy grail war I hope it's the abridged version.
>>
>>3106957
>>Dead Apostle
Sounds fun, though I kinda think Red made a mistake by having us pick Magic First, and Race second.
>>
>>3106999
If that's your reasoning, wouldn't going for both be better than just DA? Surely being a servant tier threat would give us even more clout to use. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd be willing to switch my vote to that over the just guns, bombs, and tanks one, if it looked like it had a better chance of delivering said guns, bombs, and tanks.

>>3107224
That I feel is too much, they'd absolutely unite against us the moment we start throwing that kind of power around. of course we could play things quietly, confident that if our scheming failed we could handle it but that's just having toys we aren't allowed to play with and I hate that.

As an apostle we can always use guns and stuff we just won't have the specialty for it though we'd make up for that in raw physical talent.
>>
>>3107205
Dead Apostle seems the way to go. If you guys think your magic should be changed I'm fine with that.

You no longer have proficiency with guns, but the sheer amount of guns you can buy and puppeteer as a Dead Apostle is stupid.

All you lose is proficiency which you have raw stats as an Apostle to make up for.
>>
>>3107250
I'll admit its an odd perspective to take, but I think that past a certain point, being more powerful may actually make the others less likely to unite against us for a few reasons. They may be more susceptible to being seduced by offers of our power. They'll be more likely to think we're likely to last for the majority of the competition, and so be a good candidate for an alliance. They may believe us unlikely to be stopped though straightforward means, and try to gain our trust, so they can destroy us in a betrayal (naturally, we'd need to be on the look out for such a thing, but I think we'd need to anyways).
>>
>>3107265
If not we are on Setting followed by Servant.
>>
>>3107282
I get where you're coming from but that would require things playing out too conveniently for us.
Having all that power on top of our opponents holding the idiot ball would be no fun.

5th Grail War
Why do you guys want to go up against some of the most broken opponents like that priest dude who is a servant with a ton of servants? Also a Necromancer, being undead with a Necromancer as an opponent seems like you are waving your butt in front of them and saying "Please put it in Mr. Necromancer!". Pardon my language, I understand the desire to make it fun but it seems like Mordred's master is a hard counter to us. Not to mention Dracula and what happens if he leaves Wallachia, good chance the guy might be able to control us as his story dictates in many accounts that he is the "Father" or "Master" of all "Vampires" and we totally fit the bill of a "Vampire" for the fucky way Heroic Spirit powers work.
>>
>>3107371
Dead Apostles originate from the corruption of the moon goddess in Nasuverse, necromancy and Vlad shouldn't have power over us though they might know a few tricks to fend us off.
>>
>>3107386
Actually I don't know how Drac's story could affect us. That is a fucky thing to ponder.
>>
>>3107342
I will say you guys can go bigger in the Great just because there's more people and you likely have prep. The 5th is smaller and less prep.
>>
>>3107396
But at the same time literally everyone else will be against us, and they'll have the same amount of prep.
>>
>>3107405
But you will be an unknown. Simply you killed Assassin of Black's Master before they made it to Romania.
>>
>>3107412
Fair point. But at the same time I want to hear Archer abridged lose his shit against us wondering who the fuck we are.
>>
Great grail war
>>
The forth grail war would be fucking dope cos it's peak Kiritsigu and kotomine
>>
>>3107342
>>5th Grail War Abridged
>>
>>3107419
Yeah, I would love that. I don't know if Archer of the 5th grail war will know what Dead Apostles are. I assume he has more knowledge than what Shirou accumulated in his life. Dead Apostles come from the True Ancestors like someone else said, and they are a form of nature spirit so not sure how much info he would get about that.

Also, I don't remember if Assasin of Black's master would be someone we would know about. Also how would we know how much of a threat that the servant would be, since he doesn't really show up until after his master is safe if I remember. Vlad wouldn't leave Wallachia and his identity would be kept a secret until far too late. To avoid a possible "GG no RE" moment we would have to make sure he would ONLY stay in Wallachia.
The logic would be to ally with Black, but guess what, as soon as Vlad figured out what we are we would be dead meat. Also, no guarantee that out of desperation the master wouldn't force Vlad to go Vamp like I am pretty sure he does in the end of the anime, since his whole plan was to fuse with Vampire Vlad to be truly immortal in the first place.
>>
>>3107342
Actually, I'll switch >>3107465 to
>>Great Holy Grail War (Fate/Apocrapha)
>>
>>3107371
>>3107470
Vlad refuses to use or acknowledge the whole Dracula thing since it's a corruption of his mythos. Like to even get him to use it, his master has to command seal him to do it and he kills you for it after.
>>
Become the master of Assassin of black, summon dr jekyll
>>
>>3107470
Yeah, Lancer of Black would be our biggest threat if we go great grail war. And that is what his master does. So if we ally with black we'd have to be careful around those two. And there's some big contenders in the grail war that can take us out. And in 5th war there's slightly less threats, but at the same time it's also a free for all. Also I'm down for cucking Medea out of the summoning the assassin class servant.
>>
>>3107371
I'd like the normal 5th grail war not abridged trash but since it's abridged or the great grail war I'm picking the not shitty abridged one
>>
I think the most fun would be playing in either the fourth grail war with another caster or fifth grail war and summon assassin and use them right
>>
Can someone clarify what is meant by "abridged"? Little out of the loop on that.

>>3107496
Everyone is silly and memes, it's less a grail war and more a dumb banter off and a waste of a quest. It's all over the to comedy and kinda ruins the feel
>>
>>3107496
>>3107500
The abridged version by Project mouthwash. One of my favorite things that happened in it is they acknowledge what happens in the 4th grail war more.

>>3107506
Wait we actually had the option to play in some parody war? The fuck?
>>
>>3107514
Polls still open. It's going to be for a while since people are still learning the possible settings. It's Tie I think
>>
Still, if we join the black side in the great grail war, there's still fucking Karna and the two Rulers as well as fucking Vlad. They'll all fuck us up as soon as possible. If you all want to join a war other than the abridged one go with one other than the great grail war.
>>
Ok fourth grail war is bad ass mode where all but one of the players are pros and it's the A team servents

Fifth is less deadly than the fourth cos people are a little more reasonable and the servents are a mixed bag

Great grail war is a 7 vs 7 ex rank clusterfuck where it turns into a free for all once your side wins

Abridged is the warped jokey easy mode of the fifth, basically fate marval cos it's all quips

If we don't do Great, my vote is going towards Abridged.
>>
>>3107541
My vote is for great unless we can get a normal grail war because what's the point of having a fate quest if your then gonna just marvel it up
>>
>>3107536
My vote is staying Great War. While we are at a disadvantage compared to the high tier servants we would wreck any master and we don't know which servant we would get so it's really up in the air whether we're at a major disadvantage overall.
>>
>>3107553
We need to hope for a high tier servant. I suggest trying to summon a Foreigner
>>
Still suprised that none of the Moon grail war's showed up. Cause I think in other routes than the tournament route would allow for the master's in the combat.
>>3107555
Well, that's if QM would even let us summon extra servants
>>
I'm telling ya just enter the great grail war and summon THE hassassin
>>
>>3107555
If we summoned anyone even reasonably broken we'd stomp everyone.
>>
Just to clarify, are we going to be limited to servants that were actually summoned during the war we choose, or can we go for any servant from all of canon?
>>
>>3107561
Well, that'll hinge on us summoning a grand servant.
>>
>>3107565
I just want Mysterious Heroine XX
>>
>>3107566
Wondering about that as well.
>>
>>3107578
I swear to the grail if we summon a saber face I will get on my poxys and fill this thread with disgusting porn
>>
>>3107583
Better get those proxies revved up then. The grail is like 80% saberfaces.
>>
>>3107583
What if we get saberface(male)?
>>
It seems Great is winning. Since you guys are going independent I wouldn't mind you choosing your Servant. We will need to narrow class first.

If something seems broken or wont work I hold veto power
>>
>>3107584
Please don't remind me it's hard enough finding a grail war quest as it is yet alone. Saber faces and abridged memery just makes the ones that do happen worse
>>
>>3107589
As far as my knowledge no votes have changed.
>>

>>
>>3107599
Well then, we're absolutely fucked unless we get an absolutely broken servant.
>>
>>3107606
So then let's get an absolutely broken servant.
>>
>>3107608
Fuck it, let's just summon Solomon and instantly win
>>

Or you summon a decent assassin and play smart by murdering the master's who anchor the op fuckers in the world
>>
>>3107608

>>
>>3107612
The main problem is that the red servants which have most a good amount of threats, are just servants, no masters.
>>
Well we gotta roll for class first right?
>>
>>3107625
Even when what's his face took the command seals the master's kept suppling the man's from what I can tell
>>
>>3107606
If fuckboi Sig could do it it won't be hard.

>>3107625
We need to take a proactive approach instead of waiting around and letting the red team make all the moves.

Summon true assassin and just slit throats while still in spirit form. His PC is EX and even when attacking he don't uncloak it just drops too A

Or fuck it summon Gil or Ozi

No we can't. Especially if we get a high tier caster. Merlin or Solomon would absolutely outclass us.

>>
>>3107670
Well then, our options are quit limited. I think that Heracles would be our best bet, since the only other good one that'd work for us is probably Beowolf. While Mama Raikou and Kintoki would be good but I think they might want to kill us. Big problem with Heracles is that most people would recognize him
>>
>>3107589
We should summon the Rider Class Adolf Hitler with the Noble Phantasm "Unlimited Gas Works"! Seriously the war takes place around Germany and all the nations where Hitler is a major Bogeyman to the point that even saying "Heil Hitler" can get you imprisoned or your entire family heavily fined in most of them. As for age of the hero he may be relatively weak, but with the prevelency of his story throughout the minds of all living humans for the past 60ish years he may still be reasonably powerful. Also which of the Hero's that showed up in the Grand War had a kill count as high as Hitler's due to his direct commands and the results of his ideology. Hell, if the media is to be believed people are still killing each other in the name of Hitler, either because "They're Nazis!" or because the killers are actually some type of Nazi.

His mount is a fully functioning Panzer, his Noble Phantasm summons Auchwitz as a giant gas chamber, but him and his master have gas masks.

As a Berzerker?
I want to see a rage-filled roided out Mega-Hitler run across the battlefield calling all enemy masters and servants "JEWWSS" and "COOMMUNNISSTTSSS" while spewing poison gas from gas grenades and a luger.

But if that isnt an option I would go with Beowulf. One of the oldest European legends and was one of the deadliest Heroes in history, ripped off Grendels arms bare-handed and was only killed by a dragon, which was his own son, when he was like 80-90.
>>
>>3107692
Except his Mad Enhancement makes most of his shit useless.

The best three Berserkers we should shoot for are MHX Alter, Kintoki and Cu Alter.

Ok, Since 4chan just shitted well end this with this vote. I will tally tomorrow morning.
Your Servant
>Hercules: Costs a lot and such, but is basically unkillable without coordination with everyone or a counter. Insane but keeps combat skill, just loses nine lives really

>Beowulf: Much cheaper than Hercules and is nearly unstoppable 1v1. He is sane by all accounts.

>Banana: (Honestly I don't know much about her but I'm willing to run her)

>Jalter Swimsuit: I'm surprised no one recommended this but hey, I'm putting this here.

I'll be posting some more stuff tomorrow like bio and Apostle abilities. Keep an eye out for it. Tally at noonish tomorrow.
>>
>>3107694
She seems interesting, and I have no strong feelings about any other Berserker class servants. I'll support her.
>>
>>3107765
My one complaignt about Hercules is that some of the greek servants might recognize him. Forgot about Jalter Swimsuit for a moment, but on the topic of swimsuit servants there's also Nobu summer, who has alot of anti-divne stuff. Still leaning towards Banana Oni
>>
>>3107765
Oh hey, 4chan(nel) is up again.

>>3107765
Let's just summon Herc.
In this scenario there aren't assholes with infinite different A rank attacks they can pull out of their ass.
Also Achilles will probably shit himself.
>>
>>3107765
>>Banana: (Honestly I don't know much about her but I'm willing to run her)

She's an adorable little monster whose incredibly strong, so much Gilgamesh summoned her to be a subordinate at one point(she told him to fuck off and went pillaging).

Super strong and durable, for a berserker, she's also a competent strategist. Her madness enhancement is high but unless one of the Minemoto's or golden boy get in here it shouldn't be a problem.

I kind want to daughteru the fuck out of the little beast.

>>
>>3108388
I'll back this one, mostly because being over 400 is too old for me.

Digging the dead apostle forest ideea and have been thinking on how we could have survived it. How about we were on the run from either the church, mage's association, or just a large and powerful mage family who were after us for some reason. Say they either wanted our special type of rune magic and our family had become weak enough that they could target us or we were doing something quite naughty with it.

Either way they chased us out into the woods and it happened to be during one of the forests' active periods. So we manage to survive by being a lure for a good deal of food, kind of like a symbiotic relationship. We end up a dead apostle, I guess by eating the plants to survive, and escape once those targeting us stopped coming and we began fearing that the forest would turn on us.
>>
>>3108424
That seems like a pretty good fleshing out there anon
>>
>>3108426
Been doing some brainstorming of fun ways we could use our powers and Ibaraki's little hand trick so my mind is right into this right now.

There are so many things a puppet master can do to get a remote controlled berserker hand around an unsuspecting masters' throat. Only thing is I'm not sure how detectable the hand is with magical senses. I'm assuming very but we may be able to mask it with enough of our own magic being at play.
>>
>>3108438
It is interesting. Now the question that's running through my brain is what wish we have in mind that only the grail can grant.
>>
>Age 268
>He deliberately sought out Apostlehood, so that he may continue to work on his beloved rune puppets for as long their immortal body would let him, and even if killed by a Church Enforcer, it would be worth it for a even a single day he lived longer then he would have as a Human. All for the perfection of his art.
>>
>>3108459
Well,we know Ibaraki's wish is to see Shuten Douji smile stress free, so there's that. Not sure what we would want from the grail so far other than fun. Maybe reaching the Root but I don't know
>>
>>3108459

That depends. Does anyone have a preference as to why we ran? It could be to bring our family back to power or revenge on those who brought it low. Or we could use it to complete whatever heretical thing we were working on. Perhaps we wanted to create life to replace someone we lost.

Maybe we want to wish for the ability to grant actual souls to our works? That would probably wind up with us creating demon spirit bound to physical objects be we seem to be crazy enough to be alright with that.

One idea I had that I don't think most will back is our family, either through curse or genetics quirk, became infertile. So the family slowly died out while we tried to create some kind of lasting legacy.

That last thing kinda loops around into my desire to daughteru the Banana though. Also mirrors Kairi a little too much.
>>
>>3108489
I like either (or perhaps both) of your latter two ideas, as the grail rendering us capable of creating life def seems like a good goal.

Call me retarded if it's impossible. But would it be doable for the grail to create a rebirth of magic in the world akin on the same level as the age of gods?

Restoring life makes sense for our type of magic.
>>
>>3108502
>>3108523
Yeah something about becoming one of the ultimate undead in order to create life appeals to me.

>>3108518
That's a tricky one. I think it would have to do something majorly fucked up to do that, like undoing Artoria's lance that divides the world's magic or whatever the fuck it does. A lot of people would die. Like, it would be on par with what Gil was trying to use the Grail for.

Well if worst comes to worst, we can fall back onto it the more screwed in the head our Dead Apostle gets over the course of the quest.

We're already a freak of nature in more ways than one, this will be just Tuesday with more heavy rain than usual.
I do understand why trying to ask for magic to come back would be a clusterfuck of epic proportions. It just fits the idea of things going from bad to beyond fucked like a proper Grail War should.
>>
>>3108489
I'm down with your ideas. Seems good.
>>
>>3108539
>>3108556
It would be a fun option if our plans go poorly over the quest. Playing out a character going from "I want to create Life" to "If magic was back my dreams wouldn't be so far away".

Thinking about it, Avicebron could wind up being a very bad influence on us. We're on his team aren't we?
>>
>>3108588
I’m imagining a scenario where all the other masters team up on the PC and he goes full Fuhrerbunker mode
>>
>>3108597
>down in the Yggdmillennia basement, the entrance sealed
>building puppets using the bodies of all those homunculi and hearts of some the other master/servants

>Ibaraki is super drunk and thinks this plan is amazing

I'm more for the creating life goal, but worse comes to worse we can go with the magic thing as a "Well, we're fucked, might as well nuke everything." Button.
>>

The PC could always just be torn between both; the personal option v. the “public” option
>>
>>3108688
Yeah bringing back magic I see as something we get into our head if we fail a bunch of our plans due to the OPness of the servants. A person can only see how great things used to be for so long before they long for the past.
>>
>>3108715
Actually, I don't think we were around for the age of the gods. They ended with Artoria, so with either age I don't think we were around for them.
>>
>>3108722
Sorry I worded that wierd. Meant we would long for the power that used to exist in the world as demonstrated by the servants. Like we see Avicebron get Golem Keter Malkuth up and running and go shit son, magic was like that? Then we start to desire a return to the old ways.

>>
>>3108736
>40 year old
>>
This is the character. I might change things based on balance once I convert the Servants.

Name: Rictor Melston
Sex: Male
Age: 280
Appearance: Appears to be a gaunt 40 year old man and dresses with an apron on the majority of the time. The Apron makes him look more like an artisan, but it’s just to clean the blood easier he swears.

Stats
HP: 165 [Regen 20 per round, unstoppable until death] [Takes Triple from Holy attacks]
Mana: 1000/1000 [Regen 70 per turn]

Strength: 22 (+6) [Lift stuff, drive, and attacking with a sword]
Dex: 21 (+5) [Dodging attacks, Acrobatics,
Con: 25 (+7)
Int: 36 (+13) (It contains his proficiency with magics, I just shorthanded it.)
Wis: 26 (+8)
Chr: 23 (+6)

Abilities:
>Puppet Body Crafter: Creates a limb that works like it should on a human. Thanks to his delusions however he has gotten into the habit of strapping say, legs to guns. Takes an hour to make a set of limbs, 3 for a complete body. These have average physical human stats (10)

>Item enchanting (Runes): Rictor enchant an item to have more power by applying a simple concept. This concept allows it to gain a +1 towards that task up to a +5. Takes an hour per stat increase.

>Prepare Item Animation: Rictor implant false magic circuits into a item, allowing it to perform tasks such as moving it’s own parts. It does however require a [Puppet Tether] or [Familier] to operate and runs on simple commands given through tether. Takes an hour to finish.

>Tether (5 per turn of activity): This allows Rictor to operate his puppets. It is a nearly invisible string that lead to the puppet, allowing the puppet to use a portion of his mind to move and understand reality. These things are closer to machine than man, which angers Rictor. This has a range of a mile.

Abilities as a Dead Apostle:
>Mystic Eyes of Enchantment: Force a will save and on a fail the victim falls under his command for a day.

>Territorial Fields: A super bounded field that requires multiple magi and time to crack. Takes about week to form however.

>Familiers: Rictor can make up to 10 puppets able to function without tether as his familiers. He is also able to move his “Prospective” to them and take control of the puppet directly.

Rictor was a german puppeteer back in the early 1700s, but became after becoming a Dead Apostle and Magi he aimed to create life. Through the years its easy to say hes become insane by the idea and back again.
After Aoko received a Sealing Designation for her perfected puppet, he became infuriated that a human would achieve something he was aiming to get for years, a life like puppet. While it does need a soul, this caused him to look for other ways to achieve his dream, which lead him to the Holy Grail War in Romania.
>>
A good frame of refernce is a A+ noble phantasm his an average of 200 damage I'm think and costs 200 MP.
>>
>>3108850
That seems like a lot of bookkeeping you're gonna have to do, hope you're up for it. That being said looks interesting, looking forward to giving a nugget a nice set of gams.
>>
So, who do you all want to steal a Servant from?

>Red (Kills master of Spartacus)

>Black (You will kill the guy who summoned Jack)
>>
>>3108943
>>Red (Kills master of Spartacus)
No one knows about him before hand, and it'll prevent some future problems from coming up.
And we can still team up with the black faction.
>>
>>3108949
Sparticus was the one weaklink on that team, we'd have to do a lot more to undermine Shiro if we replace him.

Though leaving Jack does leave a good destabilizing factor out there.
>>
>>3108956
Yeah. And we might be able to recruit the lady in charge of Jack.
>>
>>3108943
Also, does that mean Franky would be replaced by Jack or a surprise Assassin if we went black team?
>>
>>3108943
I'll vote Red. Kinda want Franky in there for us to gush over and don't want Sparticus to be the butt boy again.

>>Black (You will kill the guy who summoned Jack)
I want to be able to DAD Jackie and give her puppet dolls to play with.
>>
>>3109040
Well, I'm going with the assumption that we kill them before they summon. If not, I'll go with black.
>>
>>3109044
>>3108949
>>3108943
Just to clarify, if we kill them before their summoned, gonna kill the master of Red. If we kill them after their summoned, go with Black.
>>
>>3109044
Can you clairify RED? If we vote Black, do we Kill the Master and steal Jackie for ourselves, or do we kill them before they summon the servant?
>>
>>3109057
The one that summons Berserker of Red. And I frankly don't know. Which is why I clarified to the QM that if we kill them before they summon the servant, gonna go with the guy who summoned Spartacus. And if we kill them after, kill the guy who summoned Jack.
>>
>>3109044
Its before. Basically Claus would summon Jack instead of Frank
>>
>>3109074
That settles it.

>>3108943

>>
>>3108943
>>Red (Kills master of Spartacus)
Okay, then yeah, Spartacus goes bye bye, we can adopt Jackie some other time.
>>
>>3109074
Gotcha, gonna go for Red then. Mostly because we'd have a good chance of recruiting Jacks and her master, so it'd be a total of a Ruler, 2 Sabers, a Lancer, a Archer, a Rider, 2 Berserkers, and a Assassin versus Shirou
>>
>Red (Kills master of Spartacus)

Since your a proper mage you can feed her from your pool. You would have needed to do that if you didn't have mana but are a healthy boy.

Alright, so with our massive mana pool and her abilities she's gonna be quite dangerous.

Yeah, I thought you guys needed the help. While there are some powerful Servants, you guys have a ton of mana and a few other toys.

Yeah, we're pretty much a small mana reservoir. Pluss the fact we regenerate 70 per turn is amazing. Also just realized that we can essentially have a kaiju fight with Avriceborn's golem

Yup, she has the ability to shape shift to a giant.

Woah woah woah, you can't just reference Astolfo's balls without expecting 80% of the thread to dissappear to go fap. Damn you. I may or may not brb depending on this roll.

Question, can we headpat her? I assume as a Japanese inspired girl she will enjoy numerous headpats.

We may lose a few fingers but we can spare those. She's like a cat, she enjoys the pats up until she decides she wants to bite. Which may be often.

We can always headpat every once in a while, makes it so that she doesn't become over stimulated by the headpatting while leaving her wanting more headpats.

She also enjoys candy. To the point were if you give her some she'll naturally expect you to give her more.

I do wonder if she'll like Ice Cream. She seems like the type of person that would also enjoy the hell out of Ice Cream.

Rictor and Ibaraki are going to be a very fun pair in the war.

>Alcohol, sweets and decorated women... there is always something worth pillaging from a festival, is there not?

Been going through her dialogue in FGO and she is a treasure. Little depressing at times, Oni life it seems is meant to be harsh but she seems to enjoy it.

Apparently she's as likely to enjoy sweets as she is to devour the one who gives them to her, if a mortal were to give her a treat she'd gobble both the gift and the giver up.
