Last time, after a few days of searching, you finally found high elves. . . or rather, the High Elves have found you. They brought you to their city, in the heart of the old forest, and you have finally seen the eternal, ancestral and original city remains of high elves.

You finally meet Queen Titania, and the least you can say is that she quite the liberated woman, playing the calm and graceful ruler in front of her subjects, but in reality, is very rude and has a penchant for wine. She asked you to help her, to gain more power over the nobles, you accepted, and Dillon became the pretend champion of the goddess Luna.

Dillon defeated all the warriors sent by the noble elf houses, Titania was happy, has it gave her the opportunity to gain absolute power over her race, and after some brief negociation, she was more than happy to establish friendly relation between your kingdoms. You have gained a valuable ally, but what will happen when your husband wants to have his revenge on Hagëndorff ?

All is well and you went to sleep serenely, but a bad feeling overwhelms you at night, and you wake up, and go take a look. At first you find nothing, and, hearing some noises, you peep in Titania's room, and discover Dillon, displaying his masculine an sexual prowess to Ruriska, Titania, Talion, and Ilsevel, the elves greatly enjoying his enthusiasm.

As you were about to leave, you came face to face with an assassin, but you quiclky took care of him, disarming him . . . . literally.
This woke up everyone, and after making sure everyone was okay, you all holed up in Titania's room, and you sent your guardians to hunt any assassin's that could be hiding in this wing of the palace.

You then fell asleep, and talked to Metraton, learning more about the goddess Luna, and Metraton own sense of humor. You are now awake, and Lazarus, who kept watch all night, is the first to greet you.

You just give him your nicest smile, and carefully move, as to not wake everyone, when you are out of the bed, you slowly walk up to him.

>"How long did I sleep ?"

>"For some times. It's difficult to know since there is no windows. If I had to guess, maybe three hours." say your husband.

>"Anything interesting happended during this time ?" you inquire, now in front of him.

>"Not really. We heard one or two screams, but as time passed, they were more and more distant. It's been silent for quite some times now. I think your guardians are doing a great job." he tell you.

You notice that his eyes didn't leave you as you walked, enjoying the sight of your body in you white silk nightie. You smirk and wrap your arms around your husband.

>"Tell me Lazarus, were we cute to look at ? Did you enjoy watching your beautiful wife sleeping surronded by beauties ?" you tease.

You are surprised when he just gently cup your cheek, and kiss you on the forehead.

>"So cute I could spend all days and nights just looking at you, getting lost in your eyes." he replies.

>"You vile flatterer. For now I need to see if my guardians killed all the assassins." you tell him.

You let go of him, and sitin the middle of the room, focusing on the presence of the two spirits in the royal wing. You easily feel their presence around, they are actually finishing killing another assassing, and if you had to guess, the blood that extensively covers your guardians is proof that they killed a lot.

When they finish killing this one, they sniff the air, and begin to slowly come back to you. It looks like they killed all the assassins. You open your eyes, and look at Lazarus.

>"It's over, they're all dead." you tell him.

>"Are you sure ? I don't want any kind of surprise." he ask you.

>"My guardians are coming back, so it's safe to think we are free of assassin in the whole royal wing." you reply.

>"Here's how we'll do it. Lazarus, you take Talion, and the two of you go find the guards, checking for assassins on the way. I'll take Murata, and go put on my armor, and look around with him and my guardians."

>"I'm right behind you my Queen."

>"Then let's move, I'll go first, then we you are inside, you quickly put on your armor."

>"Don't worry, I'll be careful."

Lazarus open the door, and look around. There is no one, so he go into the corridor, followed by talion. You are right behind, with Murata. You can feel your guardians coming, and indeed, they appear at a corner to your right. They look frightening, covered in blood, but they still come to you, and try to cuddle.

>"HA NO, don't ! You'll get blood on my nightie, sit !" you command.

Your wolf sits like a good dog, and your snake of darkness just wait. You smile and pat their heads.

>"Good boys." you smile.

>"That quite horrifying to see." say Talion.

>"I find it really cute. Now, remember, don't take any unnecessary risks. Lead the way Talion. We need to find the guard."

Lazarus then start running, following Talion. You and Murata go for your bedroom, the easterner, slowly opening the door. There in no one, except the corpse of the assassin your husband killed. Your guardians look around for any traps, but they don't find any. You immediately go for your armor, Murata turn around and look at the door. It takes some time, but you manage to put on your armor alone. After you exit the room with Murata and your guardians, you sigh.

>"Murata, you go back inside Titania's bedroom, and wake up everyone, I'll look around to see if there isn't any assassins left." you tell him.

>"Are you sure, my Queen ? It's really dangerous, and I think your husband wouldn't approve."

>"He want to protect me, but I can defend myself. Now go, and make sure the prisoner is awake. I want Ruriska to interrogate him later.

>"It shall be done, your highness." bow Murata.

He walks back to Titania's room, and you turn, walking into the corridor.

With your guardians, you check every room, carefully sending your wolf and snake first. The rooms are usually empty, with exception. Some of them are well furnished bedroom, or meeting room. Some of them have the bodies of assassins, wearing the same black leather robes and white mask. They are in a gruesome state. Your guardians did a good job, but made quite the mess.

You look into several rooms, and while you can't search all of them, you are sure there is not any assassin left alive. Satisfied, you send your guardians back and go back to wait. Later, in Titania's bedroom, everyone is awake and dressed decently, and you hear a knock at the door.

>"Your highness, it's me, Talion. I'm back with Lord Drack and a platoon of guards."

Shelur open the door, and indeed your husband is here with at least 50 soldiers behind him. Titania exit the room, and the soldiers bow.

>"I want a thorough search of every room of the royal wing, to see if there is any traps or assassins left. You are to clean the sacred royal wing of this impurity that stained this place. Talion, you shall stay here and coordinate this operation. I have to go meditate and commune with the goddess for advices. I want ten guards to escort us to the well of Luna." order Titania.

>"Your will is my life, my Queen." Answer Talion.

>"You shall come with me, noble guests, So you can bask in the glory of our goddess." she says as she turns to you.

You understand that she's plays her role of graceful queen, and you bow to her. She then leads you out of the royal wing, then out of the palace, towards the well of Luna. In the streets every person you see stop and bow to Titania, the queen almost glowing. You are now in front of the great building with the ray of light, looking like a cathedral, but with less threatening shape, more round and welcoming. Several guards, taller than any elf you ever saw, with big armor, watch over the stairs leading to the great doors. Titania stop.

>"Now, you shall stay here, only Queen Freya and I can enter. Dark Queen, you shall stay silent, as the words of man coud stain this most holy place. You shall speak only after I authorize it." say the high elf ruler.

>"I am willing to enter this most holy place, and follow any rules once inside." you reply.

Titania nod, and start climbing the stairs, the guards standing at attention as she passes them. Lazarus take your hand.

>"Once again, you go alone, at the mercy of a god, without me." he says.

>"I'm never alone, I know you are with me, I know you'll protect me, remember, I promised to never leave you. I'll come back, like I always do." you smile.

>"With great powers or a transformation. I liked the eyes." he jokes.

You laugh and kiss his hand. He let go of you, and you follow Titania, into the well of Luna.

You are now inside the temple, it is lit only by small torches of blue fire, giving a light similar to the crystal torches of Metraton temple. There is no one inside beside you and Titania, the queen walking confidently.

>"You can speak now, this was just a show for the others. Congratulation you are the first human to visit in decades." she say.

>"Who was the previous visitors ?" you ask.

>"Hagëndorff himself and his father. They didn't meditate, but showed respect. That's good enough for rulers as great as them. You should feel honored, you're going to do something that even the greatest emperor of the world didn't do." she explain.

>"I am thankful for this."you tell her.

>"Say it to me, show your thanks." she demand, smugly.

She's messing with you. You should do the same.

>"Thank you, ô great queen of the high elf. Your kindness is matched only by your wisdom, a mere human like me is infinitely blessed to have the honor of following you to this sacred place. You truly are . . . "

>"Alright stop right there that enough thank you very much !" she stops you.

You both laugh and keep walking forward. After some minutes, you are in a big hall, in its center, the ray of light that you see from outside. In spite of what one can think, the ray leaves the well and projects towards the sky, by an opening, high on the ceiling. You approach with Titania, and you carefully take a look. The well is enormous, filled with a transparent blue liquid, and seem bottomless.

>"So what do we do n. . . . " you start.

You see Titania undressing, and she look at you with a smile.

>"We need to get naked, and enter the well. Remove everything, clothes, jewelry."

You do as she says and removes your armor. Soon the two of you are naked, she then slowly enter the well, and start swimming to the center.

>"Come on don't be shy, it's warm." she says with a smug smile.

You start with a leg, then the other, and then your whole body. You swim to the center.

>"What do we do now? You ask.

>"Let yourself float on your back, your ears must be submerged, close your eyes and breath. It should come naturally." answer Titania.

You do as she says, and close your eyes. You only feel the water around you, and the silence is all you hear.

You wait, eyes closed, into the well of Luna, breathing calmly, you can only hear the beating of your heart. You wait . . . And nothing happens. When you meditated on your magic for the first time, there was something, but right now you can't feel anything. You open your eyes, just to confirm that you are still inside the temple, and indeed you are still in the well, with Titania just floating beside you.

>"So . . . Is something supposed to happen ?" you ask.

>"You wait, until you hear the whisper of Luna. She's the one who's decide when to talk." Titania answer.

>"And how much time do you usually wait ?" you add.

>"Depend, usually fifteen minutes, when I really need help. But when it's not important, I can wait the whole day without hearing anything." she says

>"Of course I didn't meet her ! Only the first elves saw her, when she blessed them when they first lived in this forest ! She's the one who's decide when to talk. . . Well, not mortal in my case but you understand what I mean." she explains.

She jerks suddenly and swallows the water, almost drowning. She swims back to the edge of the well and goes out of the water. She coughs then calm down, you join her, and she look at you, worried.

You are now really close to her, and you look at her chest, making it really obvious that you are looking.

The two of you laugh again, and you swim back into the well, and calm down, trying to meditate.

As you close your eyes, you wait. But this time something is different, you feel as if the water around you is disappearing, as if you were floating into nothingness. You keep your eyes closed and keep breathing calmly. Everything around you is warm, a gentle warmth. Then, much like Metraton, you hear a voice in your mind, a pure, gentle but commanding voice.

>"Another spirit, a young, human, naive, ephemeral spirit. I see so much, you are more than what you look."

You open your eyes, and you are in a pond of clear blue water. All around you, great trees with purple foliage give the surrounding a soothing vide. You swim to the shore and get out of the water. You are alone, until you hear the voice again.

>"Come, I am curious and want to talk to you."

As the voice finish, the ground in front of you shine with a faint light, guiding you. You follow the light, until you are in front of a temple not unlike the one you are in, in the real world. The doors open, and you hear music coming from inside, a harp, and a sweet voice that sings in the elvish language. You go inside, toward the song.

You advance into the white stone temple until you arrive in a room. The floor is covered with cushions, and pure silk sheets hang from the ceiling. In the center of the room, a woman, an elf, with purple/pink skin and blue hair, is playing the harp, singing, her voice pure and beautiful, almost echoing in your very soul. You walk toward the woman, stop some meters in front of her, and you listen. Her song is beautiful, with a touch of melancholy, but without any sadness. After a time, the song is over, and the woman look at you and smile, her eyes are made of pure with, shining like the moon. You are in presence of the Luna, Goddess of the moon, protector and mother of all elves. You look a teach other, then she talk first.

>"You are quite fascinating. You are human, but I can feel the touch of Darkness, Light, and a more natural, primal power. I saw you entering my temple with Titania, and you two seemed very close."

Oh, she saw that ! That embarrassing.

>"No need to be embarrassed, my child, and I can read your thoughts, so speak if you want to say something."

She gets up and walks up to you, she taller than you, but smaller than Lazarus ans Metraton. She looks at you, her pure gaze inspecting your naked body, she looks at your eyes, the scar on your right arm, and the blue stone on your navel. You can't help but admire her face. She's really beautiful.

>"There is something else, something . . . Divine ? You've met a god before . . . " she whispers.

She's now looking straight into your eyes.

>"Who are you ?" she asks.

The question is simple, but the tone in her voice makes you uneasy, like a child about to be lectured by its mother. Her eyes are looking into your very soul.

You follow her, and the two of you exit the temple, and you walk among the purple trees, the moon high in the night sky. You walk on a path of white stone, surrounded by green grass and fireflies illuminate the forest. You walk next to Luna, she doesn't say anything, maybe she's waiting for your questions.

>"What do you know of the prophecy about the end of the world ?" you ask.

>"Like all the gods I am aware of it. It's upsetting a lot of powerful beings, with its implications. 'The order of this world will be shattered, a shadow will rise, the primordial dragons will wake up.' All of this is really bad. For the rest I have no clues. Light or dark, as long as the world is here, I'll stay and watch over the forest." she tells you.

>"So you're not on anyone's side ?" you inquire.

>"Hell destoy, heaven heal. If I have to choose, I'll choose the world, but the Light is better for me, even if I hate how they try to control, even if it's for our own good. I follow the rules they established, that's all." she explains.

>"I believe rules are what make us differents from mindless monsters. But this subject won't make us move forward. Do you have another question ?" she replies.

>"He's like any other emperor or ruler before him. The fact that he's successful and blessed by the Light won't change anything. He's going to die one day, and his successor won't be as good, or maybe he could be better but just delay the inevitable. One day, the great empire will fall, Like the Tharques before, and any other before them. But the people will remain, their hopes, their beliefs. That what us gods are supposed to do, guide the people in time of need." she tells you.

>"Alright, I understand. On another topic, do you know maybe where Filarion is, and if he is responsible for the assassination attempt on Tina ?" you ask.

And I think you should interrogate your prisoner, I think Filarion wouldn't kill Titania, he still considers her the queen, and the assassins were humans. There is someone else involved, but I don't know who. And that something Titania have to deal with alone. I'll give her advices, but I won't do the work for her." she says.

She closes her eyes, but nothing seems to happen, then she opens them again.

Then you hear someone coming, and indeed, Titania enter the room, in awe at the fact that she was summoned by her goddess. But then she stops when her eyes are on you. She looks at you and you see several emotions on her faces, mostly confusion.

You can't blame her, her goddess, the protector and mother of all the elves, the powerful Luna, goddess of the moon, and forest, have her head on the lap of the Dark Queen, who gently pat her head, and Luna seems t enjoy it a lot.

You refrain from laughing, and you try to stay as serious as possible.

You close your eyes and mutter to yourself.

Later, the door of the temple opens again, and you leave with Titania, the Queen of the high elves looking as composed and gracious as she was when she entered with you, trying to not think about what she had to endure inside. You have to admit, maybe you enjoyed it a little too much, but she didn't complain so . . .

You walk down the stairs with her, the guards standing at attention as you passes them. In front of the temple, everyone is waiting for you.When you are down the stairs, Silviana come to you.

As you finish your plate of fruits, you turn to Titania, you want to hear what she thinks of you.

You finish eating, and you exit the dining room. You are back into the royal wing, were the guards are still busy cleaning the mess. Your husband said he was going to prepare everything for your departure, and you are now with Titania, and you want to tell her something, you make sure no one else is here.

You decide to interrogate the prisoner, while everyone else is preparing for your departure and. You take Ruriska, and she's happy at the prospect of using her talents on someone. Talion lead you to a heavily fortified building. You enter it, and go down several set of stairs, to the cells. You are now in a corridor, with several guards, standing at attention, there is only one cell here, with your prisoner inside.

You finally see him, and you understand why he won't ever escape. His only remaining limbs are the left arm and the left leg, and they are attached to the wall by solid restraints, made of malachite, He can't even move his hand, let alone his fingers. He also has a mask of metal. He can't see, or talk. Talion open the door of the cell, and you get inside, Ruriska don't lose any times, and prepare her tools. You approach the assassin, and talion removes the mask. He looks at you, no emotions on his face.

>"You must know who I am, and I want answers. You have a choice, you can either talk or suffer. What do you choose ?"

>"As you wish. He's all yours, Ruriska."

>"They never talk without some good motivations, my queen." she says, her sadistic smile on.

She starts undressing him, but when you all see his body, you are disgusted. His whole body is covered with purulent scars, burns with a hot iron or by magic, and runes engraved in his flesh, or made of metal that had to be poured in wounds while it was still liquid. It looks like several of his ribs were removed, and metal plates were placed just under his skin to protect his vital organs. He has no genitals and he looks like he's made of nothing but bones and muscles, without any flesh.

>"Oh that nasty, even for me." say Ruriska.

>"Gaze upon the body of a sinner on the path of redemption. I know pain beyond what you can imagine. You'll get nothing from me."

You walk up to him, but he has the same emotionless face as before.

He says nothing. He just look at you.

Again, he stays silent. You sigh, It look like you won't be able to play nice, and playing bad is useless.

You channel his emotions, and you only keep his memories. You see the pain, he killed, he killed a lot. he was imprisoned, then you seen people wearing white robe and armor. He's now inside a carriage with several other, problably criminals. they get out, they are now in what look like a dungeon. They are torturing him, they tell him a lot of hateful thing, a lot of loving thing, they are breaking him, they are healing him. He's now a shell of his past self, he can be saved, he can't be saved. He'll have a chance at redemption, his body, his life, are now in the hand of the Order.

His mind is nothing but fanatical devotion, everything he told you is the truth, he's an assassin, sent by the Order of the Light, but he wasn't to kill Titania, he's just a tool for something much greater, or at least that what they told him. You learn the name of some noble that helped them enter the city, you're sure Tina is going to love and hate this.

You smile at him while he looks at you with burning hate.

Then a red flash, like lightning, come out of your hands, and strike the assassin on the chest. You open your eyes and lower your arms. The prisoner groans and sweats a lot, you see steam forming on his body, and he begins to scream, while his body is become covered with blisters. Where you touched him, The skin is black like coal, and the flesh begins to melt, he screams in agony, his eyes are red and after a few seconds, they explode like eggs.

You feel as if your body is lifted of the ground, and projected at incredible speed across the sky, and as fast as it happened, it stops.

You are now surrounded by green grass, bushes and flowering trees. You feel the cool wind, and the heat of the sun on your skin. You can see the walls of Drackenburg farther ahead, look like the teleportation isn't that precise, but you guess it's only a 3 or 5 kilometers walk. You look around and everyone is here, except Lazarus and Dillon.

You've spent a good part of the walk thinking about what yo are going to do, no one is saying anything, Irene words made sure of that. We you exited the woods, and got on the road, several of the peasants or travelers recognized you, and gathered around you.This caught the attention of a nearby patrol. When they saw you the soldiers bowed, and they escort you to the city. One of them was sent running to Drackenburg, so everyone know the Empress, the Dark Queen Freya is back.

Finally, you enter the city, with your companions behind you, ans the soldiers around you all. Inside, several soldiers form a line through the city, to protect you, and to keep the inhabitant from submerging you. Indeed it seems that everyone is out, looking at you. They acclaim you, shout their joy, and are happy to see their queen at last. The city is clean, the buildings are well maintained, the streets are clean, and there are trees and flowers everywhere. You know you ordered for the city to be ready to become the western capital of the empire, but it seems that a lot of care was put into it, and you suspect your parents to have something to do with.

You smile, and you make a sign to people, and you see with pleasure that there are all races. Humans are, of course, the crushing majority, but you see elves of all kind and dwarves, but there is also trolls, gnolls, ratmens, and you think you saw a lamia.

You walk, escorted by the soldier and the cheers from the crowd, to the palace, and you are more than surprised when you see it. The constructions are finished it's in the same still as in Drack's Keep, worthy of the most beautiful royal palaces, you are sure this is your mother doing. But there is also a lot of defenses worked into the architecture, making the palace work also as a fortress, that's your father at work.

You climb the stairs, and you enter the palace, behind you, the heavy doors close, and the cheers of the crowd are muffled behind the steel. You walk on the crimson and gold carpet, on the marble floor, soldiers in royal equipment stand guard, and you walk to the throne room. A great door of carved wood is opened for you, and you see a room filled with several peoples, noble and other important people you think, and sitting on thrones, similar to the ones in Drack's keep, you mother and father. When you entered the room, they got up, and bowed to you.

>"Dark Queen Freya Drack, our dear Empress, we welcome you back, and are happy and honored to see you." says your father.

They are smiling, happy to see you. How do you react ?

You smile and just follow the protocol.

>"King Harald, Queen Mathilda, rulers of Ordamark, steward of the Drack Empire, I am glad to see you again, and to see that you have accomplished your duty with competence and righteousness. We will see later what happens during our absence. Be aware though that I am highly pleased with you." you say, in a firm, but warm voice.

>"We thank you for your words, which honors us. It is true that we have much to report, my queen. We are stepping out of our duty as stewards of the Drack empire, and you give back all the powers that you entrusted to us." replies your mother.

Your parents walk away from the throne, and bow to you again. You move forward, your companions waiting, and you go to your throne. You loot at it, the engraved black stone waiting for its mistress.

>"Well, I'm back." you whisper to yourself.

You turn to face everyone, and slowly sit, your back straight and your head up. When you are fully seated, your companions, and everyone else beside your parents take a knee. You take a deep breath, The Dark Queen Freya Drack is back, ready to lead her empire.

>"Raise your head, everyone. I'm happy to see you all here because I have a very important announcement to make. As you may have noticed, my husband, our Emperor, the Dark Lord Lazarus Drack, wasn't with me when we came back. I want you to know what is happening. You see, after meeting the great Emperor Hagendorff, we decided to go and pay our respect to Queen Titania, Queen of the eternal city, and ruler of the high elves." you explain.

The people are whispering, the mention of Hagëndorff and Titania is having quite the effect on them.

>"And after two days, The Queen, offered to teleport us back here. But Our Emperor stayed behind. You see, the Dark Lord saw an opportunity to perform a secret ritual that would enhance his powers. He left with a small retinue while sending us ahead to keep the empire running. He'll be back soon better and stronger than ever." you declare

Now people are now talking openly, not knowing what to do with this information.

>"This information don't have to be hidden, but you don't have to spread it around either, we are going to keep on doing our duty, this change nothing. Now, King Harald, Queen Mathilda, you are going to stay here, as we need to talk. Everyone else, I thank you for your loyalty to the crown, you can leave and go back to your duty."

the people bow to you, and slowly leave the room. When they are all out. You sigh and get up.

>"King Harald, Queen Mathilda, would you please come with me to my room, I need to unwind a bit after this journey.

>"Of course you highness, We are going to get a servant and lead you to your bedroom."

After a maid came to guide you, you go, followed by your parents and companions.

This palace is impressive, and it reminds you a little of home, your mother touch you think, the corridors are bright, they are very well lit, with beautiful decorations. You meet several groups of servants and maids who bow to you, and guards standing at attention, saluting you.

You go up stairs, and your mother tells you that you are now in the royal wing. Finally, after a few minutes, you arrive in front of a large solid wood door, with many sculptures, graceful women, animals of the north, scenes of battles, and finally, your husband and you, him with his sword, a commanding lure, you with a smile, calm and kindness on your face. It looks like the two of you are dancing, looking at each other, almost embracing. That a really impressive piece. The maid opens the door, and you enter, and you are surprised again.

The room is big, with a huge bed, bigger than the one you had at Drack's Keep. There are also beautiful stained glass windows that project beautiful colors in the room, a large fireplace, silk curtains, which floats in the light breeze, a balcony with a superb view of the front of the palace, the city, and the surrounding countryside. There is everything here that you need for your comfort.

>"So what do you think ? I'm the one who choose the decoration, hope you like it." say your mother.

Everyone enter the room and put your personal belonging inside, you smile at them.

>"Thank you everyone, you are now free to do what you want, I'll send someone when I'll need you. Silviana, you can stay and put my in order.

>"Of course." smile your best friend.

You turn to the maid that guided you.

>"You are going to show them the rooms around this one, so they can choose one, if any of them want something, you make sure they get it." you say.

>"Yes your highness." she bows to you.

>"Good, see you everyone." you nod.

>"Later Freya." says Irene.

>"I'm going to get something to eat." add Shelur

>"Oh, me too ! This teleporting spell made me hungry." replies Aleanor.

>"I'll go talk with the military officers around here." explain Ruriska.

Murata say nothing, and just follow the maid, looking for a nice room.

You are now in your bedroom with your parents and Silviana, who's starting to work around the room to put your stuff where it should be. You don't wait anymore, and go hug your mother.

>"Oh mom, I've missed you." you tell her.

>"We weren't expecting you until at least two months." says your father.

>"As I said Titania helped us with that, I'm glad to see that you are fine." you smile, hugging him.

The three of you sit down in comfortable armchairs, and you start discussing.

>"So how was the time being a Emperor and Empress, instead of just being a King and Queen ?" you ask.

>"Terrible. The benefits remain almost the same, but the responsibilities are ten times greater." say your father.

You laugh with your father, at least he seems good enough to joke about it.

>"But jokes aside, how is the empire in general doing ?" you inquire.

>"Things are fine as a whole, but there was some incidents, but we'll talk about it later. It looks like the northern kingdoms are recovering from the war. And even if the population is going to need more time to recover, things look good for the future." replies your father.

>"But you need to stay alert, if another big war, with as much death or destruction happen in the north, we'll never be able to recover." adds your mother.

>"I understand, and I promise you that I'm doing everything I can to make sure we won't have to fight another great war here." you tell them

>"Don't worry, we believe in you, as our Empress and our our daughter." smiles your mother.

It says that the boat you used to sail to Lynn is back, and that a handful of non-humans refugees are going to take a caravan to Drackenburg, you gave them a royal letter and they are under the empire protection. They should be here in two weeks." explain your father.

>"Phillip is a good sovereign, he probably sent an escort to guard the caravan." your mother say.

>"Then we just have to wait. I promised to this minotaur girl that I'll give her and her little brothers a future." you say.

You father nod approvingly, and you mother smiles at you.

>"We had a hunch that it was something like that. You used your authority for helping someone in need. I'm proud of you." your father tells you.

>"Thank you. Now, did something happen at the border with Hagendorff empire ?" you ask them.

>"Everything is calm in the south, no troop are moving to attack us, and with the three forts finished, we now have a solid defense." explains your father.

Silviana then approach you, she has a tea set and put it on a table.

>"If you want, your Highnesses, I'm going to make some tea." say Silviana.

>"That a lovely idea, thank you Silvie." you smile.

While the little maid prepares the tea, you keep talking with your parents.

After some minutes, Silviana give ou a cup of warm tea, your drink, and sigh, enjoying the nice taste.

>"What happened with the High elfves after the incident with Filarion ?" you ask.

>"The situation is more or less settled, the small destruction that had occurred have been repaired, and while they still act like an autonomous territory, they are trading a lot more. Still, I believe a third of them still wanted to go back to the Old Forest, we didn't have any reason to stop them." you mother tell you.

>"I see, you did the right thing, they aren't our prisoners, if they want to go back to the eternal city, they can, Titania is a friend anyway. Now, I saw a lot of nobles in the throne room. What were they up to in my absence ? Did someone try to make a play for power ?" you ask.

>"Well, there is some unrest, with the non-humans questions, the size of the imperial army, and how little you are doing for the true blood of the north." your father says.

>"It the same thing as before, we contacted the rulers, the ones that are still alive after your husband war, and it's the same everywhere. The nobles feel like you favor the commoners and the non-humans, and that you are forgetting your peers." add you mother.

>"Great I love politics. I'll deal with them later. About the nobles, what did Ellisa Illnir, that noble dame we became friends with, do ?" you inquire.

>"This girl ? You know how to choose your friend, she did an amazing job, she made reforms on the taxes, made them more fair, and favored the farmers and craftsmen, so she now has a solid foundation, she also followed your example, and created a professional armed force, while still really small, is effective, thank to the garrison you've appointed on her lands. Still there is some unrest because of a series of murder." your father tells you.

>"She's doing well, but I think you should help her. You are her only friend in the ruthless world of ruling." smile your mother.

>"I won't forget her. Another thing, is the black moon or the other religion made any problems ?" you ask.

>"The Priests of the North Gods are still working in the non-humans territories, and the Black Moon is gaining more followers everyday. There is a decline of the faith in the Light as well." say your mother.

>"We've written everything in a report for you to read later, so you can deal with those issues one at a time. There is a lot to do, my dear daughter, good luck." your father chuckles.

>"Yes, I never expected for things to calm down, but it could be good for once to wake up and find that everything is fine. Thank you for your help. Now, if you'll excuse me, I want to take a little nap." you tell them

>"In the middle of the afternoon ?" asks your mother, not convinced.

>"I'm still exhausted, this journey was really tiring. Don't worry, we'll talk more tonight, at dinner."

You parent are looking at each other, and your father nod at your mother. She gets up and looks at you.

>"Freya, a few weeks ago, I felt sick, I was weak, and I thought that I had caught something serious." she explains.

>"What ? Is everything okay, are you feeling well ?" you ask, worried.

>"Yes, everything is fine, don't worry. But you see, When the healer took care of me and told me I was fine, he did some test and . . . " she start.

You mother close her eyes, sigh happily and look at yo with the brightest smile she can have.

>"Freya, I'm pregnant, you are going to be a big sister !"

The words echo in your head, and you just stand here. Silviana, is the same, and the water she's pouring overflows from the cup. How do you react ?

By the gods, you don't know what to say, she's enjoying this. You sit down, your head in your hands, and think about what she just told you. Then it hit you, and you quickly get up again.

>"WAIT, I AM GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER ?" you shout.

>"Took you long enough ! Yes Freya, if everything goes as planned in six or seven months, you are going to be a big sister. You seemed really eager to have one as you asked us about it some months ago." explain your mother.

>"I was surprised when your mother told me about her desire to have another child, but after I learned that was because of you, I just complied." adds your father.

She doesn't finish as you hug her tightly. You are really happy right now, and there is some tears forming at the corners of your eyes.

>"Congratulation, I'm so happy, mom, dad." you tell them.

>"There, there, Now you don't have to think about what's going to happen to Ordamark. Focus on your own destiny, go forward, you can leave us behind." say your mother, her voice soothing.

The three of you stay like that, then you sit, you talk and laugh again, you can hide your joy, and smile like a fool. After a while, your parents excuse themselves, and leave you so you can take your nap. As they exit the room, your mother whispers to you.

>"Now, I expected to be a grandmother before, but maybe you'll beat me with the number of children." she teases you.

You just groan and jokingly shoo her away, she laughs, and Silviana close the door behind them, before joining you, taking your hands.

>"By the gods Freya, you are going to have a little sibling ! Congratulation ! she says, jumping up and down.

you then let go of her hand, and suddenly grope her chest.

Silviana surprise you by hugging you and grabbing your behind.

The two of you then playfully wrestle, trying to grapple or making each other submit. You both laugh, and sometimes moan as you grab each other sensible place in the fight. You end up in each other arms, Silviana hugging you. You gently pat her head.

>"Hahahaha, thank you for being the best friend ever had." you laugh

>"No, thank you for being here for me Freya. Despite you being a princess, you were always with me. I promise that I'll always stay with you.

The two of you get up, and Silviana clean the little mess you've made, before bowing to you.

>"I'm going to let you sleep now, I suppose you need to rest, or maybe to talk with this god, Metraton. If you need me I'll be in the kitchen getting the dinner ready for tonight." she tells you.

You smile at your friend, and go to get ready for bed. What do you do ?

She joins you and you smile, the two of you go for your wardrobe and you pick up something to wear. You give her a cute red nightie that highlight her body, and you put on a short black nightie, that show your legs up to the thighs. You and Silviana go into the bed, and after pulling up the bed cover and sheet you cuddles each other.

You just chuckle and gently pat her head.

>"You know I'm the one who wanted to do it first, I mean you are right it's really nice to sleep with my cute childhood friend."

You then put a small kiss on her forehead, and she becomes really red.

She does as you say, and after some minutes Silviana is asleep, breathing peacefully. You smile and do the same, enjoying the feeling of her body against yours. Soon, you fall asleep, and in the darkness, you follow the wind. You find yourself in the forest of your mind, and you walk to the spirit's mountain. When you see it, ominous black cloud is gathering at the top of the mountain. This isn't good. You climb the stair, and when you are at the summit, you see your guardians waiting at the entrance. When they see you, they run for you, as if looking for your protection. You give them headpats, worried.

>"Hey, what are you doing ? what is happe . . . ." you start.

Suddenly, there is a heavy boom, like the thunder, and the temple shake. You hear the angry voice of someone you know, Luna, the goddess of the elves.

>"Oh right, that's not good." you say as you enter.

Inside the temple the animals are hiding, while the temple continues to shake with each boom. You keep walking, and arrived at the promontory you understand. Metraton is in his real form, his blue naked body shining, and he's being lectured by Luna, the goddess is really angry, her eyes lit up like suns. Her voice is causing the tremors.

>"WHAT DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO HAPPEN YOU FOOL ?" She screams, her voice booming and creating lightning and thunder in the sky above you.

>"I know, and you know why I did it." replies Metraton.

>"YOU WERE ALWAYS LIKE THIS ! THINK ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES FOR ONCE ?" she asks him, really angry.

>"I think about it that why I can't let this world be destroyed." he simply says.

>"AND LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENED !!!" she shouts.

Your guardians stay low on the ground, behind you, while Metraton is staying calm, being lectured by Luna who's fuming, and keep shouting at him. What do you do ?

You sigh, maybe you should do something. You wait for Luna to stop shouting so Metraton can reply, and you use this opportunity to clear your throat loudly, making the two god turn to look at you. Metraton get a faint smile, but go back to his emotionless face immediately, Luna just look at you, still angry, but not at you especially. At least you have what you want Luna stopped yelling, and you got their attention. Still, you feel uncomfortable looking into the eye of the angered goddess.

Not wanting to look intimidated, you walk toward the gods, the white bonfire making them even more impressive. When you have the two of them in front of you, you just smile.

>"Hello Metraton and Luna, it´s good to see you two in such an impressive display of friendship." you tease them.

>"Then you must be blind, this idiot isn't worthy of even being called my friend." scoff Luna.

>"But you are still here lecturing me about what you think are mistakes."

>"SEEING HOW YOU ENDED UP THOSE ARE WITHOUT A DOUBT MISTAKES !"

>"That's good and all seeing you two so close, but please, Luna, if its not too much to ask, can you keep your voice down a little bit ? You're scaring my two guardians." you tell her.

You point at your scared wolf and snake who are still behind you. Luna look at you as if you just insulted her, and Metraton can no longer hide his smile. Luna gives him an accusing look.

>"You really know how to find them, she reminds me of those you selected to be your followers back in the days. She's insolent and irreverent, even before gods."

>"I love how honest she is, she's completely unpredictable." smile Metraton.

>"OF COURSE ! SO SHE CAN WREAK HAVOC EVERYWHERE !" she yells, lightning splitting the sky.

You walk past them, and gracefully sit at your usual spot near the bonfire, the one with the great view on the sea. You look at Luna with a kind smile and you pat your lap. She is not amused.

>"Are you serious right now ? Is that some sort of joke ?"

Luna look, incredulous, as Metraton lie down on the ground, his head on your lap. You then start to gently pat his head. Soon after your wolf sits beside you, panting happily, and you pat his head too, your snake wrap itself around your upper body, and put its head on top of your. Slowly, the animals that were hiding come out and join you.

You are soon surrounded by all kind of animal, from the small opossum to the giant bear, huddle together like a family. Luna calmed down and tries to comprehend what is happening. After a while she simply gives up and goes in front of you.
