You do not know how much time has passed or what has happened to you're fellow Flood. But somehow despite being just an infection form you have gained a consciousness. For days you have floated in your containment tube, just as you did in millenniums past. These past several days small bipeds with larger armed ones have studied your prison, you believe they may be the cause of your stirring.

You have waited patiently for a higher Flood to consume them and absorbed into its own consciousness. But it is now clear you are alone.

The creatures have left you for the day. Now's your chance. The only ways of escape you can come up with this limited mind and form is to use your tendrils to break the glass, or you could attempt to break the grate at the top of your containment tube and escape into the filtration system.

Knowing in your current state that it would be to dangerous to alert the bipeds you decide to break the grate. It's rough at first after not moving for so long but soon the strength in you meant to rend bones and cartilage returns. You squeeze through after bending the bars far enough.

After what feels like hours of wandering through the pipes you emerge into a pristine facility meant to filter the water, and stasis fluids.

You head towards the exit but stop at the last moment. A large oblivious biped steps past the door armor in a strong material and equipped with a weapon meant to spew flames. It stops for a moment before continuing past to a small room.

There are several small rooms you could enter, or you could attempt to follow the biped. If you deem it to dangerous you could enter the vents in an attempt to reach another part of the facility.

After several moments it becomes clear no others are coming. You decide the best option is to check the rooms and where the biped went leads to.

One large door leads to a larger hallway, also empty of bipeds.

Most of the doors lead to storage rooms for what you assume are replacement filters. One of the rooms has been modified into a "nest".

Checking last the room which the armored biped entered. It's still there. But from the rhythmic rise and fall of its chest and the fact it rest on several filters you assume it's resting. It's weapon nearby but out of reach.

The armor it wears is air tight but you believe you may be able to break in if you try, be warned it would be difficult. Or you could leave and search for and easier biped to begin the infestation.

You hesitate for a moment and consider returning to the nest to wait for easier prey. But you know that another opportunity like this may not present itself.

You carefully creep forward, closing the door sliding shut behind you. You make your way over to the sleeping biped positioning your tendrils around its neck. You strike clasping your tendrils around its vulnerable neck like a steel noose. It thrashes in it's sleep for a moments, before realizing something is wrong. It flings itself up and tries to grasp you.

You slide around to the back of its neck as you come closer to breaking its surprisingly strong neck. Several spots come loose under its helmet allowing smaller tendrils in. Now panicking at the intrusion it throws its head wildly into the walls nearly crushing you. But with a final heave you pop the helmet off. You quickly force yourself into the opening of its head squeezing in and shattering some bone. It lets out a shrill of pain. You bind with its nervous system seizing control, and absorbing its mind.

It's knowledge floods your find. Everything the being that was Olivia Miller once experienced is now yours. We were 1 of 27 Spartan IV's meant to protect this Forerunner Flood research station and prevent possible outbreak.

You may ask if you wish to recall any specific knowledge from this part of our consciousness .

We may also turn this form into a combat form, or attempt to use it to gather more biomass before such a process. If possible the helmet may still fit and your infection may go unnoticed or if you desire shape it to your will. (You can do whatever you guys want, these things are just suggestions.)

You realize it's to dangerous if they alert others to stay away first. Leaving them you recall from your memory the location of the communications array. You walk out along one of the exposed areas of the facility open to the gas giant far below. Looking up your suspicions are confirmed. A large antenna extends from an elevated platform at the center of the facility. You carefully set your weapon aside, and begin to jump along the hull of the station. Quickly with your enhanced strength you make it to the platform in several leaps.

Not wishing to alert the humans if you completely destroyed it, you decide to bend the antenna so it looks as if it was knocked sideways in a storm while destroying several of the rungs.

You make your way back down and retrieve your weapon. The only problem is in front of you. A marine is standing their he may have seen you. How do you proceed? (Your vocal cords are to damaged to speak)

You carefully make your way to one of the three containment sections. Like the one you escaped from this one has no control center. But it's being guarded by two Spartans. He briefly stops you and tells you you're suppose to be patrolling another part of the facility. One is about to contact the others when you reach over and snap his neck. The other shocked is left open for an attack which you take advantage of, delivering a jab straight to his face. Recovering his senses you trade blow for blow with him. He manages to break you left arm before you manage to knock him to the floor and kill him.

You make your way over to a container holding several infection form slamming your unbroken arm into it till it breaks. You continue this with the other containers. Some have died from neglect, but all have degraded some. As you free them they join you and come under the control of your gestalt consciousness. There minds rotten from eons of stasis are easy easy to supersede as the dominate being.

2 infection forms burrow into the dead Spartans beginning the transformation into Combat forms. Meanwhile several degraded combat forms collapse to the ground and begin their own transformation into incubators for more Infection forms. As this happens you make your way out retracing your path to the area you escaped from originally. Another Spartan is closely inspecting the tube you escaped from. While distracted you bash his head into the glass, before throwing him at the Infection Form container, who quickly find their way into his armor.

You once more begin the process in this room freeing the ancient combat forms. Through the eyes of the forms in the first chamber you can see 2 Spartans with light flamethrowers approaching.

What will you do to attempt to save the forms in the first chamber and what will you do if you succeed.

You know their weapons will burn your forms beyond use and are to weak to fight them head on. Your forms in the first chamber retreat while your ones in the second rush to meet with them. Infection forms crawl into the vents to approach from behind, the combat forms to sluggish to do the same. The Spartans chase after the fleeing forms not aware of the ambush awaiting them at the upcoming bend.

As they round the bend your original infected Spartan clotheslines the one at the front. The other infected Spartans hold the remaining Spartan at bay, his flamethrower incinerating 3 combat forms but licking uselessly at the shields of your infected Spartans.

Flooding the broken arm of your original form with Flood super cells turn the useless broken flesh into a powerful blade arm which impales the first to the ground.

The second fairs no better as the combined assault of the combat forms causes his shields to collapse. No time is wasted as the infection forms burst from a nearby vent consuming him.

You consider a retreat for a moment, but see that the slow Carrier Forms would not make it. Stuck between the decision to retreat or charge you decide the best option is to charge. Your Spartans and Pure Forms take point. The Spartans shields taking the brunt of the rifle fire, and the Pure Forms jump along the wall to disorientate the marines. 3 of the remaining Degraded Combat Forms fall to the fire shielding the Carrier's.

They might have dealt serious damage to you were it not to the fact they tried to fall back once you started to close in. 2 of the Carriers pop releasing 14 more Infection forms. The retreating marines quickly torn apart or infested.

What do you do next. You recall from your memories that the quarters being used to house the scientist is to the right of an upcoming fork. Or you could attempt to reach the control center, but it's likely heavily defended.

Without a moments hesitation your horde turns to the right. From the marines knowledge you know the scientist are in the dining room now, and completely defenseless. The door slowly slides open your original body at the hordes front. A scientist with a meal tray says you should be out looking for the escaped flood before you step to the side and impale her with your blade like arm. One of the scientist lets out a cry seeing you. Your other bodies rushing past you like a whirlwind of destruction, some forms eagerly leaping over tables dismembering scientist, other moving to block exits.

When you're done the scientist that were sleeping or eating in the dining hall all lie dead and reborn as a part of you. The carrier forms giving you just enough to infect them. You begin to make your way back to the control center at the middle of the facility, while a lone combat form breaks the remaining ancient forms out of the third and final containment section. The knowledge that if you had destroyed the control center the third would have been vented to the planet below.

(Write in how you want to do this.)

>You have 10 Infection Forms, 137 combat forms(100 scientist, 13 degraded, 5 pure, 6 Spartans, 13 marines).
>They have 150 scientist, 67 marines, and 21 Spartan IV's
>>
>>2993200
Well clearly we need to trap the armories and see what information we can get from the Scientists and what the other Spartan IV's would do in this sitution to contain an outbreak.
>>
>>2993200
Is the facility on full alert? I'm wondering if we can trick a squad or two into coming into our wing, thinking the local force had eliminated us. Also what sort of abilities do the degraded forms have? If theyre straight up worse than our fresher forms, then just turn them into carriers
>>
>>2993258
Also, not gonna lie. This reminds me of the xenomorph campaign in alien vs predator extinction
>>
>>2993244
>>2993258
The degraded forms are just worse versions of the fresh ones, having been neglected in the facility for several thousand years.

The facility knows containment's been breached in two sectors and are now on full alert. In the event of an outbreak the Spartans are to try and sterilize it so they're spread out. The marines will have formed a fortified position around the control room with the remaining scientist. If the outbreak can not be contained the scientist are under orders to crash the facility into the gas giant.

(Wyd? Remember you can change certain forms however you wish you just need the biomass.)
>>
>>2993276
Fuck, What about the air supply of the control room, is it closed off or is it all hand held? Cause if we can infect them via spores it'll be great.

Can we fuse the degraded combat forms into a tank form or something of that nature to provide cover or bait to trick them into thinking we've expended all our forces only to trap and kill them?
>>
>>2993276
If the spartans are split up, we should defeat them in detail. Strategy, nigga! Also, are there any ways to sneak to the scientists? Any vents or perhaps an access point we can get to by climbing on the outside of the facility?
>>
>>2993295
>>2993298
You can create tanks form 4 combat forms, or any other pure form for 2. You could contaminate the airsupply but it would take several days of exposure to infect them. Their's a window overlooking the planet bellow and several vents that could be used to enter.

Once the descent starts you would have roughly ten minutes to put in the code to stop it.

You recall from your mind the locations of the rooms refurbished as the armories sending your horde to arm themselves. As you burst in 7 spartan IV's are arming themselves. Your Spartan Forms take point in the fight along with the Pure forms providing support, you overwhelm them in close range. Killing them you send your remaining infection forms to them while you arm many of the combat forms. All degraded combat forms collapse turning into carrier forms, or pooling their mass to form tanks. The carriers pop when they finish forming releasing the Infection forms within. With your army properly armed you heads towards the control center. Most head towards the heavily fortified doors. Meanwhile the Infection Forms enter the vents, and about a dozen combat forms along with a tank head to assault the control center from the outside. As the main bulk of your force rounds the corner you see the remaining forces gathered outside the door. A rocket flies towards your swarm only to be stopped by the loping Tank which roots itself to the center of the hallway. The rocket doing little more then to irritate it and by extension you. About halfway your combat forms leap out from behind jumping from wall to wall and crawling along the ceiling. About 2 dozen combat forms lost so far.

Meanwhile your separate force has reached the window only moments earlier. A few combat forms sliding down the glass and attempting to break it with their weapons or pure strength. As cracks appear you hear a shudder and a blast door begins to drop. Your other tank form lets out a roar and slams its arms into glass holding onto the blast door preventing it from sliding farther. For a moment it seems as it might give, it arms nearly tearing apart but it holds true.

Once a panic has begun in the control center over the blast door your infection forms burst from the vents. The scientist try to resit but can put up no true fight, only able to try and crush us under foot. You already have their leader and his code. The glass gives, and the fight outside comes to a stop.

Victory and the station is yours as your original infected Spartan with her blade arm enters the room and stops the crash with 2 minutes to spare.

Now you must wait for 3 days till the next resupply if you wish to escape the station. They will flee the moment they spot flood what will you do to trick them.

Three days pass till finally the day of the resupply comes. You've prepared meticulously to escape this accursed place. Pushing the infection form in Olivia Millers down into the chest and using the super cells to reconstruct her vocal cords and jaw. Several of the least assuming Spartans await with trolleys filled with crates that seem to be awaiting for the resupply but in reality are filled with Infection forms.

The Pelican finally arrives but stops about a dozen meters above the platform. The control rooms speaker crackles to life. "What's the authentication code." You take several moments but find the memory. "1274847649." There's silence over the radio as you patiently wait for the okay. "That checks out, coming down."

Your infected quickly take him and infest him gaining his knowledge of piloting. You spend the next several hours transporting you Infected in crates to a small storage area in the small colony ship come to resupply you.

Will you attempt subtle methods or brute force.

You decide to play it safe, still to weak to survive if they contact the rest of the UNSC. To accomplish this you have several Spartans that can still pass for human patrol the ship as silent guards. Meanwhile your other forms slip out and crawl into the vents, and moving during the less guarded hours. Some melt down into base Flood biomass clogging some vents and releasing spores.

Your eyes and ears have much to tell. You're aboard the Falling Star, a colony ship repurposed for cargo transportation throughout this system. The commanding officer is Captain James Lark, he has been in command for several years and is a retired UNSC admiral. Their is roughly 500 more humans aboard the vessel. You also know this system is not empty, home to several human colonies, and reports of ex-Covenant ships spotted on the outskirts.

If successful this could be the beginning of a proper Flood force. But only time will tell if we're truly successful.
