/qst/ - Quests

Welcome to Steven Universe Rebel Ruby Quest! In this quest you play a young Ruby (but you're not right now) who landed on Earth after fleeing Homeworld in hopes of becoming a Crystal Gem!

In the last episode, we fought some fusions of the Crystal Gems as the new fusion Tanzanite, in this episode we go back in time as the character Hessonite a general of Homeworld who fought against the Crystal Gems.

You hand just finished landing on the ground where an entire faction of Rose Quartz' army is advancing. You step out of the ship and look at the faction currently standing in front of you. All of them stop and stare as if they're surprised to see you standing there by yourself after coming out of that ship.

"Hello there pebbles, have you come to face me?"

The rest of the gems simply raise their weapons at you in anger. You simply smirk at them.

"Simply adorable, truly."

You bring out your light prism and send out an army of light creatures to fight back against the oncoming force. Immediately gems are being pushed back and thrown around by your own personal army. Sometimes its almost too easy. Another gem, manages to breakthrough however and attacks you head on

You ready your rapier and prepare to fight back only for you to feel a sudden slash across your current physical form. You quickly grasp onto your offended area and look to where the attack came from. Behind you, you see a pearl who has a rapier incredibly similar to yours.

P: You shouldn't have come here

"Oh hello there, shouldn't you be off serving your diamond lost little Pearl?"

P: My diamond is shattered and I'll see to it that you are poofed for coming here.

"Is that so? Then by all means show me what you can do."

Worst gem does it again!

You scoff as she advances on you once again, and you easily parry her sword swing with your own. This back and forth continues with both of you seemingly evenly matched as you match swipe for swipe. You quickly tire of this pathetic back and forth and beckon your prism.

"Now now Prism, give this Pearl something more pressing to deal with"

As she meets your strike you quickly jump back and have your prism form a giant monster that quickly runs full speed towards the renegade Pearl. You then decide to make quick work of the rest of the faction. You slash and move as the light beasts keep them occupied poofing them every chance you get. While shattering will have them be less of a permanent issue, that's not what you're here for

"Well that takes care of that now doesn't it?"

You look and notice that all of the other gems have been poofed only leaving your gem beasts behind. You dispell your gem beasts leaving the pearl startled for a moment before she looks at you with anger in her eyes.

P: What did you do?!

"I did my job dear, something that you are incapable of doing no matter what side you're on it seems."

She simply grits her teeth and rushes at you once more with the intent to take you out.

Why is the villain getting all the good rolls?

He got a one in the last roll.

A hero is only ever as good as their villain. It stands to reason best Ruby would have a rival with a loaded die.

Love this quest

You strike back against the Pearl with grace and ease befitting your status. You mage to successfully parry all of the sword swings she throws at you and then some. You decide to be cheeky and call in your prism to summon a few clones of yourself, since who else to help you fight other than yourself. The Pearl is clearly exhausted, well exhausted as a gem could be anyway, but her weapon is still drawn at the ready.

"Come now, is this truly what you want to happen? None of this would have happened had you not just stayed in your place alongside those filthy rebels of yours."

P: "That's enough out of you! I will fight to protect this planet until I'm shattered!"

"Let's about that shall we?"

You quickly rush forward towards again dealing very heavy pummels with the handle of your rapier. She is powerless to stop you as she falls to the ground.

"I think it's too early for a proper shattering so perhaps a crack will be sufficient for you"

The Pearl look on in fear

okay yeah time to address this

So real talk for a second guys, don't get me wrong, I appreciate all of you who've played for the short time (relatively speaking) I've been here on /qst/ but with the restrictions on text on this site and the fact that I can't reliably spell check I think I'm going to move over to Fiction.live.

I know most of you aren't going to appreciate this but honestly, it feels like the only way for me to personally enjoy this quest and get more engagement is to move to a more active site. So if you want to follow the adventures of our Rebel Ruby as they continue head on over to fiction.live, my name there is deku just like it is here.

and as always

It's cancer, they will just want to add smut to the quest
>>
>>2976098
Well thanks to it being less than useless on mobile I won't be going.

Betting on it dying or them trying to fuck something in the first thread there.

Also betting this was a choice made in the discord. Fuck discords.
>>
>>2976104
Well I won't be doing that so they'll have to deal with it

>>2976138
I mean your right and I'm sorry you feel that way, but I've been debating moving to Fiction.live for a while anyway just because to be perfectly honest, I'm more active reading quests on there than I am here. I only read like three quests here and all the others I like either die or get ded sooner than I can enjoy them.
